Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello everyone, this is Steve, and I regret to inform all of you that there will be no discussion of indie news or reviewing albums or hashing out trends today because I have COVID. Ooh, sad news. Yeah, I, as you could probably tell, my voice is pretty shot and my brain is well beyond shot. I don't really know what I'm saying right now. hopefully it resembles coherent sentences. But I feel really sad. I don't like to cancel gigs. Always want to make it to the show. But this morning I was staring at our outline and I was like I cannot form thoughts at all.
Starting point is 00:00:48 So I just told Ian that we'd have to cancel this week's show and plan what we were going to do this week for next week. And I think it'll be really great then when I can actually have a little bit of intellectual activity in my brain. But yeah, I just wanted to record this thing quick because I know you all, or at least some of you look forward to seeing a new episode in your podcast feed every Friday morning. And I'm sad that we don't have a new episode for you all, but trust me, if I had recorded an episode, it would have been very sad because I am very feeble right now.
Starting point is 00:01:25 but I'm going to go lay down after this, go into a coma for a little bit, and after that, I promise, next week, we'll have a brand new show for you all. It'll be great. So thanks again for listening and for understanding. We'll see you next week.
