You're listening to Inside of you with Michael Rosenbaum.
Hi, Robert.
Hi, Michael.
Rob, I want to tell everybody thanks for listening.
You know, I've said it before.
I try not to say it all the time because then I'll sound like it's too mushy.
I just really appreciate it, guys.
I appreciate you listening and, you know, it really helps, you know, keep us going here.
And by even mentioning it to a friend or having someone else subscribe and you're just telling your friends, it really helps, man.
We've got to get the word out more and I appreciate you.
That's all.
I want to say happy, happy Thanksgiving.
Hopefully they all did.
Do you know, I don't like the, I like the, you don't like Thanksgiving?
I like generic cranberry sauce.
Like out of a can?
Yeah, bro.
You know where it has the can?
Like the tin taste in the cranberry sauce?
Oh, dude, I just slice it and I just put a big water jelly in my mouth.
We got a great guest tonight, uh, by the way, do you have a good Thanksgiving?
I should ask you that.
Uh, yeah.
That's good.
It was with family, wasn't a lot of family.
Yeah, we did family on Thanksgiving and then, uh, my friend'sgiving on the day after.
MC Hammered? I did not. I don't really get MC Hammered. Yeah. Okay. Hey, King Batch. I don't know if
you've ever heard of this guy, but you should because he's got about 17 million followers on the
Instagram and the Twitter. On the Instagrams? On the Instagrams. Dude, his videos get millions of hits. And
when you watch him, you understand why. Because he's freaking hilarious. Yeah, he showed us a video of him
and Steph Curry, right? Yeah, he makes these videos. He gets paid an enormous amount of money. He's
funny he's quick the guy can improvise like no one uh he's a real special talent he came from a family
of like you know business people and like for him to kind of switch gears and like get into the
entertainment industry and i don't think his parents were too happy until he started making a lot
of money and being really successful yeah you seem pretty jealous of how much money he makes from
his social i could not believe you'll hear the stories you guys were you just seemed shocked but you know
it's you know people will pay him like a hundred and fifty thousand dollars for a seven second
spot. Come on. And I personally think this guy could be the next like, I don't know, Kevin Hart or next
big comedian or, uh, the next Chris Pratt. Look, he's very multi-talented. I think you guys should
listen in and listen to his funny story. He's really open to. He talks about everything. The,
the, uh, the girls that, you know, what do you think when they get into your Instagrams?
It's called getting in a DM, I think. Getting into your DM. Does anyone ever get your DM? Or just
your BH? It's butthole.

Hey, this is King Bash.
Let's get inside of them.
It's my point of it.
you're listening to inside of you with michael rosenbaum inside of you was not recorded in front of a live studio audience
i like it like that she working that back i don't know how to ask put lotion on me lotion put lotion on me
Lotion, but lotion I'm mad!
Lotion!
Well, there's a reason why I'm singing that.
I'm singing that because you walked into my house in Whiteface.
Yes, I did.
No offense.
I didn't mean anything by it.
I was just trying to open my pores, yes.
So you hadn't gotten out of your Halloween outfit?
No, not yet.
You party that hard?
That hard.
And I didn't even really drink.
And I started to panic because it was five,
30 a.m. And I knew I had to be here.
12, yeah. I still had an hour left to party in me.
You still had a, how do you do that? Your young batch?
Um, what are 30? Yeah, I'm 30. I, I don't, I don't even know what it was. It was
Halloween. There were so many parties going on. A lot of girls. A lot of girls. A lot of
distractions. I just said, forget responsibility for the night. And I enjoyed myself.
Well, look, I'm here now. Where'd you go? What parties do you go to? You see, you're
You're hip. You're in. Like, people see you at a club. They're like, oh, yeah, let him in. Give him the table. Give him whatever he wants. Do you feel like that? Yes. And I've noticed the change. So this is what happened. This is my little story. It was 2012. I was 10 years old. No, I'm just kidding. It's 2012. I'm 24 years old. It was not Halloween. It was New Year's. And I was going to the club to celebrate.
New Year's and I couldn't get in the club. I spent New Year's walking back to my apartment
and I was like, I'm never going to a club again unless they invite me in. Because it's
embarrassing? You waited? You waited? I waited. Yeah. I waited for 45 minutes. And still
didn't get in. Did you make it like you were cool? Did you remember trying to be cool and what
you set up when you got up there? You're like thinking for 45 minutes what I'm going to say when I get to
the door. Like what comes to mine? I know so and so.
I know the DJ.
Yeah, I'm his friend.
He's got a plus eight.
I'm eight.
I'm eight on the dot.
No, I, it was, it was literally, we're not letting anybody in.
And they said, maybe.
And that maybe.
Was it a white guy at the door?
No, it was a black guy.
It was a black guy.
Do you think you, like, talk to, if it was a white guy, you talk a little differently.
Like a black guy, like, since you're black, you'd say something like, if it was a Jew
of the Yamika, and I went up to have, like, I'm my brother.
Ah.
You know what I mean?
I mean, do you feel like you say something like, come on, brother?
You don't do that?
They don't take that shit?
They don't take that shit.
What about a white guy?
Come on.
Do you pull the hog?
A white guy just pull out some money.
You won't let me in because you're racist?
Yeah, I pull it.
Hey, man.
Oh, you ain't going to let a brother inside?
He's like, you ain't going to let a brother come and dance on New Year's Eve?
You know.
You couldn't.
I can't wait to take this to Twitter.
Oh, man.
Thank you for allowing me to be inside of you, King Batch.
It feels good.
It feels good.
So far.
So were you King Batch then?
I had the Instagram name King Batch,
but that night you felt like bitch-batch yeah I was definitely bitch-batch
bitch-batch that night I was bitch-batch we all had those nights but then now like when I
I remember I went to Canada last year you're from Toronto yeah I'm from Toronto and I was
there and I was I was just walking the strip and every club was like come on in batch come on in
I'm like whoa and have you seen entourage this show I have seen it yeah there's a there's an
episode and I watched it in college where he's walking down the street and everybody's just
everybody's just saying hi to him like and he's just pointing at everybody a random guy says what's up man
huge fan of blah blah blah and everyone was like that and i was like that's that's that's that's fake like
no one can really be that famous um and then when it started to happen to me with people just watching
my internet videos and i was like oh wow this is crazy like someone random people just saying what's up
and they act like they know you and it was just i was i thought of that entourage episode and i was like
Wow.
Isn't it amazing how quickly, like, I don't know what level.
I mean, look, you're at a level that I, I've been acting from my life, you know,
for a long time, been on big shows, and you have more followers than anybody I know.
I mean, anybody.
I mean, I have friends with a million, two million, three million.
You have 16 point something million people follow you.
And that's a lot of like, and people will, some people will be haters.
And they'll be like, oh, what does he do?
And, like, I dug you up.
Like, I not only was.
watching your Instagram and your post
but the difference that you have
with a lot of these other people
is as much as like some of it
you have to have you have so much content
the work that you put into this
I know that you're working every day
to try to come up with funny shit
but you're engaging and you're so funny man
that I'm like this guy's a superstar
I'm glad to know you before
I mean you're already big but I'm like
because I remember I was starting to like your stuff
and also you like someone like oh man
batch like my stuff
What? Are you crazy? Can I say one thing?
What?
Your show, Smallville, is the only show that I've watched every episode for 10, it's 10 seasons, right?
It's the only show.
And every other, every, like, I like a show, like, even, like, Seinfeld or Friends or even my favorite show, which right now is The Flash, like, I still haven't seen every episode.
Smallville is the only show that I've watched every single episode for every season.
Are you serious?
Yes.
To this day.
all right well that's impressive yeah i didn't know i did not know that yeah i thought we're just
being you're being nice but you know what it's nice when you mutually respect somebody that
it just look i liked your work i thought you're hilarious i'm like this guy i want to get a good laugh
every day he's funny and i thought about that but then i saw the babysitter oh yeah and i was like
who's this guy and it was you but like i'm like this guy isn't natural like when i think of like
comedic actors i'm like now you've done a bunch of shit you've done minnie
You did tons of work, but you're growing up, I'm like, this guy, I don't want to like people to go, oh, shut up, Rosenbaum, you know what I'm talking about, just your comedic ability and your timing.
My friend Roger and Chris really introduced me to you, but I think, I think like Eddie Murphy.
I think like stuff like that because your comedic timing is, and you're just, you don't give a shit.
You kind of just go, and that is the number one thing.
If you haven't seen his videos, you know, it's funny because I'm sure my audience is a different audience.
And then when they hear about you, they're going to go check this out.
And that's, you know, that's the key is to get a different audience, a bigger audience, and keep growing and growing.
But it's like, with your success, I mean, it's hard.
It's got to be hard when people are always wanting to be your friend.
They want you to come into their club.
You know, you know why.
Yeah.
Do you feel like it's like that you always are aware like they're doing this because of this and they want something?
And I know how to keep my friends close and, like, just keep these people at arm's length.
Yeah.
And I think, I think this whole popularity thing, it's kind of turned me into an introvert.
You know what I mean?
Because it's like, you know that people only want you for something.
So sometimes when I go out in public, I'll keep my head down.
And I'll just, I'll walk and I won't make eye contact with anybody just so I don't have to like do the fake.
Ah, hey.
You know, all of that.
So I don't know.
But do you genuinely like people?
You like people.
Yes, I love people.
I love a, I love a genuine interaction.
I was hearing this story of a, of Bieber.
He was at a restaurant, and then these girls were outside of the elevator,
and they all had their phones out ready to take a picture and video recording him.
He was like, hey, guys, let's just have a natural conversation without our phones.
Let's just talk.
How are you guys doing?
What are you guys up to tonight?
And the girls, they couldn't take their phone down.
They couldn't put their phone down to enjoy the moment.
And he was just like, you know what, forget it.
That's something.
That's some, you know, I appreciate that, but do you feel like when you first started getting the fame, like, a couple years ago, whatever, and you were doing all the vine?
Because you had, like, I guess the highest number of vines ever recorded, right?
How many vines was that?
Well, the most followers.
I can't remember how many followers.
I got a Guinness Book of World Record for it, though.
You're still there?
Yeah.
But now it's gone.
So you all always win.
The champion!
Vine!
Was there a time in the beginning where you're like, oh, my God, I love this attention.
I love people.
I love people coming up to me.
I'm looking at it.
I want to get recognized.
And then that turned into...
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
I remember it was when I had...
I remember.
I had 20,000 followers, and I had my first person come up.
Yo, you're the guy that made the video.
And I was like, yeah, that's me.
And then it happened a lot.
And I was like, yeah, I felt like the entourage moment.
And then it became more of...
I could tell, like, people...
Some people didn't want to take pictures with me because they were a fan.
They just wanted to take pictures.
picture with the famous person and when I when I saw that I was like wait a minute I felt like
a object you know what I mean like I felt like oh look at this this water boom let's just take a
picture of this water by the way really delicious oh yeah so I felt like it wasn't it wasn't
genuine you know what I mean I felt like I was being used so I tell my friends like sometimes
I'll take a picture with a fan and I'll be smiling and then I'll say to myself I'm
dead inside just like
because it's like what's going on
but what if they genuinely just think
I mean I'm sure there's some people think you
the funniest person in the world and I can tell
which one's going to tell which is that yeah some
people that just like can I just get your picture because you're
famous exactly yeah yeah
you're always going to deal with that yeah
you know and it's hard to differentiate sometimes
right it is it's extremely hard so I mean
that's got to be from the guy six
years ago to trying to get into the club
on New Year's Eve
to getting dejected rejected
walking home alone
to now it's like
you feel like you could do anything
you're invincible like this is just the beginning
I wouldn't say anything because I don't want to
blow it yeah blow it but like
it's to the point where now
if I go to the club they're like hey Batch
you want to work the door one day just for fun
like that's what they want me to do now
they say just come in wear a mask
and I should have done it yesterday for Halloween
but just come in and work the door
and you decide who you want to let in the club
and they wanted to film it
Wow
you look like the young
me i'm gonna let you in you look like a rejected yes you know happy new year brother come on it's just
a whole place full of nerds and it's a fun loving people would you let robin uh let me see
yeah i like that beard it's growing in nicely it's it's you know it's his first beard i've ever seen
him with he's usually so clean cut his hair's greased over he's got like really you know he looks
together and maybe it's because november i don't know what it is but he looks like a little i don't want to
say disheveled. Aren't she supposed to shave it for November? No, I think it's no shave November. Oh, it's no
shave. Yeah. You didn't know that? I did. It's opposite today. Tell me about growing up in Toronto.
Were you like always like a funny kid? Were you like always getting attention, the funniest kid in your
school? Were you not that guy? No, I was, uh, I was just the weird guy. Um, why were you
weird? I just, I looked up to people that, I mean, Jim Carrey was like, was like my, yeah, he was like
my number one comedian.
I just wanted to be, and the mask, Ace Ventura.
Did you do impressions of him when you're young when you're walking around and go?
Oh my gosh. P-A-R-T. Why? Because I've got to. I did everything.
All righty then. I love it.
All righty then. So yeah, that was me growing up, just like animated, just weird, just, you know, quoting movies.
And I think Jim Carrey was the reason why I wanted to be an actor. At the time, I didn't know
what it was, just saw people on TV.
How old were you?
I can't even remember.
When I wanted to be an actor, I think I was in the third grade.
I think it was.
Third grade, that's young.
Yeah.
I didn't know what it was.
I just thought, I want to do what they're doing on the TV.
And then, you know, my parents saw me who's acting.
They're actors.
It's all make-believe.
And ever since then, that was the path that I wanted to take.
I didn't know how it was going to be there.
And my parents, they were always like, no, you're not going to make it.
It's two.
Really?
Yeah.
So they were always saying, don't do that.
You're not doing that.
Not on our dime.
Yep.
So, wow, they were tough on you.
Oh, yeah.
They wanted me to take over the family business.
What was the family business?
They're accountants.
They have an accounting firm.
Yeah.
That sounds kind of boring.
I know.
I mean, for me.
Yeah.
I'm bad in math.
I couldn't do that.
Yeah, and it was all the way up to college where I had to put acting to the side.
I would do it.
I would do it here and there.
You're still taking the business classes and doing this?
Are you excelling?
Yeah, I was doing good.
And I was on the track team at college.
Oh, yeah, you're fast as shit, aren't you?
Are you still fast?
Ah, yeah, I'm still fast.
I still work out.
Oh, you look like you're in shape.
You got nice arms, you got handsome legs.
But go ahead.
So your senior year, you started acting classes?
No, I was doing acting classes all throughout.
And then right when I graduated my undergrad at Florida State, I moved to California
and I did the master's program for acting.
I did the MFA.
And so I studied acting for two years straight from it was our classes was from we're from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday for two years straight to get the master.
Did you do plays? Yeah, we did everything. So you've done plays. So this is another thing that people listening probably don't know about you.
Yes. They probably assume, oh, he's an Instagrammer. He's a socialite. He's this. And then when you dissect.
and actually do the research and go, oh, this guy has been acting for a long time.
He's put the work in.
He's busted his ass to get where he is.
He found a niche or whatever the hell.
He found something that he could excel at and just went after.
And one of the few that really blew up.
And that's an art.
Yeah.
And the way I saw it was I came out here doing the auditions, doing everything.
And it wasn't working.
And then one thing happened.
I auditioned for a role.
And I saw it on TV.
And it was a little role.
It was, I think it was Don Chito playing the role.
And I was like, there's no way Don Chito auditioned for that small cameo.
And ever since that day, I was like, you know what?
I need to make a reel for myself.
And that way I could show, producing directors, my talents.
So in doing that, in making these reels and making these videos, I started to create a fan base.
Wait, so you were doing these reels to try and get some tape for yourself to give to people to see what you do.
And they turned into, you're posting them.
Yeah.
posting it on YouTube and on YouTube but were they any acting scenes yeah so people were like liking
your acting uh yeah just on YouTube yeah and it was all comedy stuff so I would do like a parody on
I remember the first one I did was Denzo Washington's uh uh flight so I did a parody on on that movie
and the one that really took off for me was that one and the Django parody that I did um and
in doing that I just wanted to show people that you know I could direct
I could write because I went to film school for all of that.
So, yeah.
So you just started doing these things.
Back then, did you have your camera?
Like six years ago, that's what I was, eight years ago?
Yeah, I didn't have the fancy camera that I had now.
But who was filming that?
You were filming, did you get a crew?
I used everyone from my film school.
So they filmed them.
How many people would get up and you'd say,
Batch would say, hey, is what we're doing the day?
Like seven.
Seven?
Yeah.
Do you still have, like, sort of like, allegiance or sort of like a love?
And, like, you work with these same people?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
He brought them along to all the success.
Yeah.
Do they still shoot your stuff?
They still do.
They do the same guys.
Yeah.
What are the guys' names, girls' names?
Andy Chin.
Andy Chin is the only one that's, we're still friends with the others.
Matea, Dima, Andy Chin, he's the one that shoots and lights everything.
And he's been doing that since you were doing those things back when, the flight, the Django, all that.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was still like one of those weird funnies.
You know what I mean?
What do you mean weird?
Like just doing it and just weird.
You didn't care about looking handsome.
Yeah.
You were like, I'm going to look stupid.
I'm going to make the ugliest face.
I may not get laid.
I'm going to embarrass myself and make fun of myself.
Exactly.
Yeah.
That's how to do it.

And then you get laid later on.
Yeah.
With the funny.
The funny gets you late.
Yeah.
Do you have to turn down women right now because there's so many women that will go after you
if they see you at a club?
Oh, yeah, I do.
I don't want to be disrespectful, but do you feel like it's just that many that you're just
pushing them away.
Like, I can't do this.
And you have to protect yourself, right?
Yeah, it's not, it's not crazy like Michael Jackson, but it's definitely, like, I can show you my, I can show you some messages in my phones.
Really?
I can show you my DMs.
I mean, people hit you up.
Oh, yeah.
And beautiful women.
Yeah.
Oh, they can't, they can't even see.
Well, you can, I can see.
Oh, okay.
They have ears.
All right, let's see.
See, I don't get any of these.
I got, you know what?
I just was hit up one time recently.
And it was somebody liked the podcast.
And I said, thank you.
I'd say, that's about it.
Oh no, so this is what happened
So I'm at the club
And this girl's filming me
See how she's just filming me at the club
No privacy
So I see that
And then she says
Oh so sorry for sneaking
All my friends are jealous
Wanted to take a pick with you
But didn't want to bother you
Instead you film me
And it made me feel uncomfortable
What's another one
And then I get these all the time
Can I read one?
Yeah, you can read it up
You're open
Yeah
Let's do a dance video
Let's do it
Whatever you want
I freaking love your videos
You're hilarious
Let me know
I'm pretty available next week
If you want to do something
This is the man's voice
Also saw your friends with Amanda
Huh
I just worked with her
If she wanted to dance with us
We should ask her
She's the best
And you respond
I'm out of town next week
But we can do it when I get back in town
Yeah of course
Let's link when you're back
Yeah
But this is all the time
This is all the time
All the time
Every day
And do you
Is it
Is there a rule sort of like, hey, you know, with me, I try not to, like, if I'm on a set,
you just got to be professionals.
Oh, yeah.
But you just have to be like, I leave it at work.
Yeah.
Like, you know, hey, if we're not working, if we see each other outside of work and maybe
we want to go on a date or maybe something, but do you feel like, hey, I don't care.
I'm having a good time.
Do you just go out with anybody if they're a fan or are you cautious?
Yeah, if I'm working, yeah, never.
But if I'm out and I vibe with the person's energy, then.
I'm down.
And for me, I don't even consider them, I don't even consider them dates.
I just hang out, you know?
Hey, you seem cool.
You seem fun.
You're pretty.
Whatever.
Yeah, let's hang out.
Let's get food.
And whatever happens, happens.
Do you follow people who have not a lot of followers?
Like, I don't have a ton of followers.
I have like, 140,000 followers.
You have, you have 16 million.
Do you ever look like, I'm like a follow Rosenbaum?
No, I only got 140,000.
Are you crazy?
You, for me, you were the best actor on the show.
Well, thank you.
That's nice of you.
You did theatrical training.
too right yeah i did i went to college for for acting and then i did off off way the hell off
broadway in new york like new jersey broadway yeah it's crazy because like so me growing up i uh i
always like with google people and see like their past and i think i saw that you were theatrically
trained and that's what i think you were one of the people that made me like want to study acting
and go take classes um you have no idea about yeah that's awesome and you know people always say
i want to be an actor which i do i'm like you should study you should get better
at what you do. It's not, that's the misconception.
I think people, a lot of them who don't know, you will say,
they don't realize that you put a lot of work on this. You've been training. You're an actor.
Yeah. You're an actor. It's not like you just like started making funny videos.
Yeah. Yeah. And I'm a firm believer of studying the platform
before I jumped into it. So I looked at it, for instance, fine.
I think the reason why I saw it to the top was because I looked at the platform.
I saw what it had and I figured out what is the platform missing and what it was missing
was the urban content.
It was people, they were just, they were making videos.
They were funny, but they were safe.
They weren't saying the shit that's really on your mind.
You know what I mean?
They weren't diving in.
Like I talk about the black issues.
I talk about, you know, the things that people were just afraid to do, you know?
You just dive into that.
And you had nothing to lose.
Nothing to lose.
It's not like you're already a celebrity and you're like saying this shit and it gets you in trouble.
You're like, fuck you.
this is what I'm talking about.
Exactly.
And then now I see the responsibility where it's, I can't really,
uh, I can't really do every topic.
Sometimes I have to like pick and choose.
But I see like things that like you get millions of hits, right?
Million, two million.
Has there ever been something like, that wasn't, that didn't work as much?
Oh yeah.
That only got like a hundred thousand.
What's the lowest lately that you've gotten?
You've never gone below this many hits on a video.
Well, the thing is, with the built-in audience, every video minimum gets a million views, so I can't really tell.
The only way I can tell is through the comments.
So I'll look through the comments.
You read the comments.
Oh, yeah.
You read, I do, too.
I read people's comments.
It's easier for me.
I don't have as many followers.
But I read them and I respond to people and I thank people for this or I'll say, hey, you know, it's like, you know, you should do this.
I didn't like this.
I'm like, oh, thank you.
Right.
You know, they like that.
People like when you respond to them, and I like hearing from them.
Yeah, and it keeps them, they're loyal fans now.
now they support you with whatever you do.
Right.
When you do like movies, like when you did The Babysitter,
that was the biggest movie you had done, right?
Yeah, that was the first movie I did.
That's not the first movie you did.
Yeah.
Now, I watched this movie, Rob, have you seen it?
Which?
Because our mutual friend, Carl McDowell is in it.
Yes, it's great.
Carl!
He's only in the opening.
He's got like a few lines and he's genius in it.
Yes.
But it's called The Babi Sitter.
Mary Viola produced it,
who's one of my dear friends.
She's a great lady.
But what I notice is,
It looks, when you watch it, it looks like you've been doing this your whole life.
It looks like you've done so many movies.
Your confidence, what is it that you get on set?
Do you get nervous?
Do you get worried about your lines?
Do you learn your lines so much that you don't even have to think about them?
You go over and over.
How obsessive you are you?
How laid back are you?
How good are you at learning shit?
Yeah, so the whole thing is, I think the first thing is it comes from the training.
Like, being through film school, in order to graduate, we had to do like 200 films.
films, right?
What?
Short films, yeah.
200.
And how many years?
And two years.
200.
So that's 100 a year.
So you're doing...
And it range from 30 second films to the black and white films to the on film films to
the three minute pieces.
What's the longest one you did?
I think the longest one I did was 15 minutes.
All right.
15, 20 minutes.
So you were prepared.
You learned so much that...
Yeah.
And I learned about the cameras.
I learned about...
What I realize also, and I tell people this, is when people are in acting classes, it's great.
But you don't get what it's really like being on set.
Like you can do an acting class and you can kill the scene in class.
But when you go on set, you have your career on the line.
You have the director looking at you.
You got the producers in the room.
You got, or a video village.
You got the camera and the light people judging you.
It's so many other things that it's an adrenaline rush.
You know?
It's not just, it's not just what you did in school.
And it's not about, and you can't be as free because that all of a sudden the sound guy goes, can you talk a little louder?
Exactly.
Hey, can you make sure you don't walk around too much because this is the, and then the other guy lighting, oh, you're out of your light here.
Hey, make sure you hit your mark exactly.
Hey, make sure you're listening to this.
Can you say, I mean, there's so many variables.
So many.
So you were nervous.
No, but that's what the film school did for me.
Like, film school got those nerves out of me.
Completely?
Completely.
Like when I go.
You weren't nervous at all in your first feature?
Nick G who did Charlie's Angels and all these movies
You weren't nervous
I would know and all those lines were improv
Every one of them
Yeah that's why I've done so many moves with Mick G
Because he now we're at the point where
He'll just be like hey batch
The scene is about this, this and this
Come up with this you have 10 minutes
And then we'll do this scene
And you get excited
Yeah you don't get nervous
I don't have you ever been way off like
That's not what I want
No
I mean maybe but
No, no, not yet.
You got 10 minutes, this is the scene.
You get up there and you start improvising.
Oh, but in those 10 minutes, I'm going like in my head.
I'm boom, boom.
I see the whole scene in my head.
What about the other person you're acting with?
What are they doing?
It was Carl.
Ask Carl.
He was there.
It was Carl.
The movie didn't come out yet.
It comes out January.
And so what would he do?
Just respond to you?
We sat down in the corner by ourselves and we went over the scene for the 10 minutes,
just me and him back and forth until we got it right.
We improv the lines back and forth until we said, oh, let's try this.
Did you keep the same lines?
Like, were you improvising but rehearsing lines that you're making up on the fly?
Exactly.
And then we just, it was like a stone just gathering moss and just keeping the funniest lines and keeping the funniest lines.
Well, that would happen to me on this movie, Sweet November I did.
I remember the director, he says, I want you guys to improvise.
And I was a transvestite.
And I remember improvising the scene.
And then in rehearsal.
And he goes, okay, we just recorded what you.
did so go to the sound guy
he's going to give you a copy and you're going to go to your
trailer and memorize pretty much what you did
oh wow because we want to redo that again
wow you got a writing credit for that
I didn't get a writing credit but we did I did get to
improvise so there's a scene there where I improvise some
things but that's a lot of pressure
but something you enjoy it's something I enjoy
and another reason I don't get nervous
is because I study a lot of people
and this is not really studying but
the movie showtime with
Eddie Murphy every time he
before he did his thing he would be like
I always tell myself, it's showtime.
So now, even to this day, and I saw that movie maybe 20 years ago,
I don't know how long ago it was, but every time before I go, I'm like, it's showtime.
Like, it's not even, like, about, now it's competition for me.
Like, not competition with the other actors, it's competition like, all right, don't fuck it up.
Like, you know, don't flub one word.
Like, that's what I'm going through my head.
It's like, all right, let's do it without missing one word.
You know what I mean?
Do other actors get nervous working with you?
because they're like oh yeah we're going to do this scene and they're like i don't know how to do
this no because when i'm on i think when i'm on set i'm i'm more of uh yo let's let's knock it out together
like we're we have the we have the chemistry already built in and if their lines are already
written your lines can be different yeah so they'll say hey give him some lines and he's just
going to go on your close up you're just going to go yeah that's that's literally what we did
In the babysitter, there's a scene with me and Bella Thorne when she gets shot in her chest.
And, spoiler alert, I should have said that before.
Fuck.
So she gets shot in her chest, and McGie said, McG takes her before, before the scene goes.
And he says, say this to him, say this to him, say this to him.
And our game is, Mick G doesn't tell me what she's going to say to me.
And now for me, it's not acting.
Now it's a game.
Let's go, Mick G.
You want to play?
Let's go.
So now it's like a, it's a, how funny can I be?
How much, how many witty lines can I come up with?
And, uh, on the fly.
On the fly.
And, and then with literally, I wish I brought my other phone.
I have the actual B-roll of the entire scene.
And to see it go from a five-minute improv to a one-minute scene, it's amazing because
they, he chopped up.
Exactly.
So that's also a good thought is that, hey, I'm going to go for five minutes and I'm just
know they're going to get the best stuff.
Yeah.
You know, you're going to say some things that are stupid that are not funny.
Have you ever done it a couple times?
And they're like, man, there was like two things that were funny in there.
Yeah, there was one thing.
And then you never know when you say something.
They might use it in the movie.
I remember there was one line in the babysitter.
It was like, why would you need the book if you already know what to do?
I said, it's like asking Amber Rose what she's going to do when she sees a dick.
She's going to suck it.
I was like, no.
And I, like, I sometimes just say whatever.
And I was in my head, right after they say cut, I was like,
McGie, please don't use that.
I might meet her one day.
Did he use it? No, he didn't.
He changed it.
Was everybody laughing?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And there was another scene in there where I said something too offensive.
I said to her name is Hannah Mae Lee.
She's in pitch perfect.
I said, oh, you're smart.
You're Korean.
She's like, no, I'm Japanese.
I was like, whatever.
You're still a China, man.
And I was like, oh, McGee, please don't use that either.
It's like, some things like when you cross the line.
Because you're in character, you're like, I could say this is the character and whatever, and it's stupid or it might be ignorant.
Yeah.
And you just hope that they protect you and they're like.
Yeah.
Yeah, because that's another thing.
I just dive right into the character.
Like, I call it like blacking out, you know?
Like, I'm not even.
You don't think consciously of yourself.
Yeah.
I'm just, I'm the character and I'm here.
I'm, what do you say to me?
And I'm responding to what I'm reacting to whatever is, whatever is the actor gives me in my character.
You want to do SNL, don't you, someday?
No, because I've had some friends on it.
You're the first person, I think I've ever asked.
The response wasn't even a thought.
It wasn't even like, hell yes.
It was, no.
Why?
Because the way I look at it is SNL is the launching platform, right?
So Eddie Murphy, SNL launched them.
All these actors that launched them.
But for me, Instagram is my life.
launching. Instagram is my S&L. I can do any character I want on there. I can, and I may get more
views sometimes. You know what I mean? And it's, S&L is used to take you to do this movie. That
S&L is take you to do this TV show. But if you do a big movie and they say, AASNL wants you to host.
Oh yeah, I'll host it. I'll host it. That's what I meant. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. For sure
I'd host it. Yeah. Um, yeah, that, that'll be fun. But being a regular on there, it makes no
sense. Yeah. You're going backwards. Yeah. You've already established yourself. Do they, how many times do they
approach you to say hey man
audition?
SNL? They've had you audition?
Yeah, I audition
when I wasn't famous.
Oh, and you were just leaving that club?
When I was leaving the club, it was like, hey, you're not doing
shit. Why did you come out of this?
How did you get to audition for Saturday Night Live?
Don't remember how I got the audition.
I do remember doing a whole bunch
of characters. I do a Jamaican character.
I did Denzo Washington.
Give me Denzo Washington.
Okay, all right.
You want Denzel Washington.
All right.
My man.
They tried to kill my wife.
Huh?
But I'm not going to let that happen.
You know what I'm talking about?
Dude, your face just looks like it when you start doing it.
What's a Jamaican guy talking like?
Mano, man, or bad man.
What type of play team?
I bring me a pussy clot.
I'm dead, you know.
What the fuck did you say?
I said, I'm a boss.
if you cross me
you're going to die
you're a pussy
Can you do Eddie Murphy
I can't
I can't
Can you?
No
You did the laugh
I can't really do it
I can't really do it
No I can't really do it
All right so you audition for S&L
Yes
And you did some characters
And then they said no
Yeah
And that was it
Were you heartbroken
At the time?
I wasn't because I didn't expect to
I was like
I was still in that phase of
Oh man this industry is so hard
I'm never going to make it.
And you didn't have help at this time.
This is your parents still looking down on you, aren't they?
Oh, yeah.
When are you going to come to the family business?
Exactly.
When are you going to come and do some accounting?
They gave me a year.
They said, all right, we'll give you a year.
If you don't make it a year, you're coming back.
And then I was like, all right, let's buckle down.
That's when I started making the videos.
And when the year came, were they like, all right?
I did it in six months.
In six months, I had a million followers on Vine.
A million.
And what does that mean monetarily?
Where people approaching you like, hey, you have a million.
million followers, I'd like to give you some money to talk and do some, what was the first
product you talked about?
It was, uh, Samsung.
And I remember they gave, it was at the time I was crazy money.
I was like, $10,000, yeah.
10,000 bucks to do a six second video.
That's it.
Yes, six second video.
10,000.
And then it got crazy.
Yeah.
Then it was like, how many would you do a month?
I don't even remember.
But don't you have to sort of like balance yourself?
Because if you do too many product, then people are going to be like, oh, this guy's just
selling out yeah so you would you do like maybe four or five a month um i don't remember i would
just do the ones you like the ones you thought you could do something yeah i do the brands that i
like the things that looked organic um and i had so many followers like throughout the the end of vine
i could i started making up my prices because no one else had everyone else five million followers
was the closest number to me like five million down on fine yeah so if i had if i had uh 15 million
the next the second followed person would have 10 million yeah so I would just set my prices say I want I want
$25,000 for the six second spot oh no I'd do like 150,000 it to you yeah yeah yeah give it to you
yeah yeah rob are you hearing we're in the wrong business we're not funny enough we couldn't do this
150,000 and how many a month would you do oh I would rack those up wait wait wait you're telling me
you would do more than five in a month.
Oh, yeah.
So you'd make $700,000 in a month?
Yeah, it was.
A million dollars in a month for how many months?
I just kept.
That's, you're a millionaire.
Yeah, but I stopped the, I didn't sell out.
That's the thing.
I didn't, I chose the ones and I made it look organic.
And I started telling them, I want to do it my way.
You know, I want to do it.
And that's what, that's what, that's what brands need to know.
They need to give the content creators creative control.
If they're able to, like they can believe in someone like you because you're so creative.
They know you're going to put a spin on it.
Right.
They know you're going to make it seem organic, right?
I never really see a lot of product placement on Instagram videos.
Right, no.
Why is that?
And I do them, but I hide them.
Yeah, because I don't see them very much.
Yeah.
And you could, couldn't you?
Yeah.
Oh, I do them all the time.
I'm doing a A6 deal right now.
you'll see that posted on my
Instagram soon. I would be okay
if they gave me $10 to do
do it. Yeah.
And then now it's like
how many posts do you want? Because I'll tell
them this is my rate because sometimes brands will say
oh we want X, we want five posts. And I say
well, I don't know if you can afford five posts
but this is... Five posts is a lot.
Yeah, I say this is what it is for each
post, you know, and I'll give them X amount.
And sometimes are they like, fine. We'll
take 10. Oh, yeah, yeah. So
what I'll do is I'll look at the company
and that's how I'll judge how much I'm going to charge.
Like, this is A&E.
This is a, uh, uh,
Yahoo.
Oh yeah.
Like a Yahoo.
Oh, they're worth 50 billion dollars.
I'm going to tell them $200,000 for a spot.
No, more than that.
I'll go.
How long is a spot?
Uh, a minute.
On Instagram.
Yeah.
I'll say, I'll start off at $300,000.
$300,000.
And they'll come back to you.
you and say we'll take five because they can afford it yeah do you know i think and that's where that's
where that's where the finance background comes from i think that's where it came in andy and how do your
parents feel now oh my gosh they're like you that we knew you could do it i was like yes yes they love it
does your dad ever look at you and say come on call yourself king come on you're not lebron jane
you know what's crazy is my parents uh love the fame more than i do
they do yeah they love when you recognize when you're with them oh yeah i remember last time they
came out um and sometimes i mean i don't mean to be disrespectful to people but sometimes like if
someone's just yeah i'll like ignore them like i don't hear them because i feel like it's rude
and then i remember it happened one time we were we're outside of um getting me a new
getting a new phone and then someone's like hey bitch i pretend like i didn't hear my dad's like
yeah yeah that's him right here that's him right here
I'm like, Dad, come on.
Rob, what would you do that sort of fame?
Do you want that sort of fame?
I do not.
You could handle it.
Yeah, I don't think so.
Really?
You couldn't handle it?
I mean, I might be able to handle it.
I don't think I would want it.
Yeah, you don't want it.
How do you like it?
Well, I don't have the fame you have.
Yes, you do?
No, no, never had that fame.
Are you crazy?
It was before social media.
I never got that fame.
I've always been a guy who's like, people come up to me, and they'll be like, hey, I love you on that.
Or, hey, I know you from something.
I'm recognized here and there.
and I you know but I'm not I've never had that look I've never gone to big premieres really
Denzo Washington actually gave me great advice once I met him oh wow told the story I said hey Denzo I'm a big
fan man I've always admired you do you have any advice from me said yeah man I want you to say this
as Denza I says yeah never go to anyone else's premiere only go to your own oh wow okay and all right
Michael you're a very charming looking young fellow thanks Denzel um if I had any advice for you
Thank you for coming to my premiere, by the way.
I appreciate that.
Don't go to anybody.
Don't go to anybody's premiere but your own.
You know what I'm talking about that?
You know what?
Two years later, I saw him walking out of the four seasons
and I was doing press for a movie called Urban Legend that I was in.
And I went out to smoke a Denzel.
And he's like, yeah.
I go, hey, man, you gave me advice like two years ago at the Sky Bar, at the Mondrian.
And he's like, what did I say to you?
And I said, you said, never go to anyone else's premieres except
your own he's like yeah you should never do that and I go well guess what I go I'm going to my
premiere for my movie tonight and he looked at me and goes well guess what I'm not and he walked
away and smile gave me that Denzel wink and a smile and it was just made my day but no way yeah dude
it was awesome legendary legendary but you know what I um see some people I think there was a time
my life where I just want to be more famous than anything and I wanted to be as big as possible and I
want to have this and that and I got to a certain level where I just want to really enjoy my life
I want to be around good people I have I've had some great success and I really enjoy I'm enjoying my
life so you know what's fame I mean it just you know there's many many people I mean you're
experiencing you're 30 years old and you're experiencing and you're on a level of fame that like one do
you ever think can I maintain this and my people are ever going to grow out of king batch and that's
why I guess maybe we'll answer that yeah they do um yeah
Have you seen a star is born yet?
Haven't, I want to.
Yeah, I mean, I think that's a prime example of, yeah, it's here now and gone tomorrow, you know,
and tomorrow could be tomorrow or tomorrow could be five years, tomorrow could be 10 years.
Depending on who you are as a person, I feel has a big deal with it and how people perceive you.
So, and to me, the fame, it's just like, it's just like high school, you know?
It's like you walk through the hall and you're saying hi to people.
You don't know who there, but it's a familiar face.
What's up, dude?
Good to see you.
You know what I mean?
That's what fame is to me.
It's like, the world is now a big high school.
What are you comfortable?
What makes you feel secure?
What makes you feel comfortable?
What makes you feel like this is where I go and I don't want, want to be away from the fame,
away from the people who are coming after me?
Just the place where you feel, I feel relaxed.
I feel like I'm myself.
I could be myself.
Where is that?
What is that?
You know what's crazy is what I do now is.
I take pride in in staying with the folks.
Like, that's where I, that's where my creativity comes from.
That's where my characters come from.
It comes from the real people I mean in the streets.
So I'll dress like in sweats and just chill.
I don't go out with the fancy bling and make me look like I'm better than everybody.
Like, oh, I'm a celebrity, this.
I'll dress like normal people.
So when people talk to me and I'm talking to them normal, I can have a normal response back.
And they don't look at me as a famous person.
They don't look at me as a celebrity.
They look at me as their brother.
They look at me as their friend.
They look at me as their family.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
And I feel like that's the way I keep grounded A and B, I can learn human interaction.
So when I'm playing these characters in the different movies, I have something to draw to.
And I think that's very important.
But where is the place?
So sometimes I'm like, I got to get the fuck out of here.
I just got to get the fuck out of here.
L.A., my house.
I just got to be someone.
Where do I feel comfortable?
What is it?
where am I going to just unwind and whether I go back to Indiana for four or five days and just
hang out in my friend's guest house and hang out with his kids and dog and have a stromboli
at the pizza place and you know it's just not as busy and just you know I where is it for you
like to go back to Toronto you like to escape how do you escape you know what's crazy
LA is the only place where people will leave me alone like even if I go to Italy or Australia
or France or Toronto they come up to me and it's even crazier than here because in their mind
oh shit king batch is here we're never going to see him again you know what I mean but in
LA it's like oh I see celebrities all the time and there's celebrities way more famous than me so
I can just go places and just relax so if I'm to answer your question somewhere that I will go
would be wherever has the most like real celebrities you know what I mean like I'll go to
calabasas or i'll go to like you and i met at the uh well we went to the jackson party exactly that was
pretty cool it was fun right and it's yeah todge was shot out shout out yes yeah and it was it was we could
all have fun we could all be our so we all get crazy dance and have some drinks and enjoy life you know
what i mean yeah i mean that's that's that's that's it or i'll go to hawaii and i'll just know
where to go to some place where it's a whole bunch of older people you know and it sucks but i just
I have to pay the price to get to those hotels,
but I know that those people have no idea who I am.
They don't care who I am.
I can have fun.
I can dance.
You have a publicist, right?
No.
You don't.
It's good because you pay a lot of money.
But do you have someone that calls up and says,
hey, Batch would like to come to New York
and he'll do an Instagram at your hotel or something
if you give them free week stay?
No.
And what's crazy is a lot of people, they say,
yo, we can get you free nights here and there.
But my whole thing is like,
I have the money now to pay for it.
I don't need, I don't want any favors.
Yeah, I'll just do it, I'll pay for it, and then nobody knows I'm there.
If I want to put a hoodie on and just chill, I just sneak in, do my thing and sneak out, you know what I mean?
Do you want to, do you look at your parents, are still together, how many years?
Yeah, they've been together for 31 years now.
Almost as old as you.
Yeah.
Do you ever, like, think, you know, one day I'd like to meet someone and settle down and just have kids, and you think that's in the cards?
You want to do that?
Yeah, of course, all the time.
definitely but right it's so hard to find someone a that has someone that has something going for
themselves and be who's in it for the right reasons you know what i mean yeah uh and i would love
to date an actress but it's it's hard to um you know especially because the long distance
traveling if you're if you're on a shoot and you're in africa you're a shoot you're here there
and you want to be selfish and say, oh, no, you come to set with me for four months while
I'm in here. You want to do that because you want to spend time with them, but you have to
realize, oh, they have their goals and they have their dreams too, so it's like, you get bored
easily? Yes. It's hard for someone to keep batches attention. Yeah. Like, what do they need?
They need the smarts, don't they? They definitely need to be smart. It's so great. I had this
conversation with someone else the other day, like, when you don't have to work anymore, and now
you know you're in between jobs and you have like a three month break and you have the free time you have to realize that these other people these other women or these other friends they still have to make money they still have to do work they still have to do jobs so they can't they can't party all the time they can't hang out they can't just hey let's go let's go ride ATVs in the desert today just random yeah they have a career they have whatever it is right yeah do you want somebody with a career do you want somebody that could just kind of hang out with batch and enjoy
other combination sort of huh yeah i mean if that if that was a case like is it is it still is it
disrespectful to want that is it no i think there's some women and some men who choose to i mean i know
guys who are mr moms who you know it's like they're the the woman makes the money and you know
but then there always comes resentment whether you say it now or later you know it's like do you want
them to be like being a mom is a full-time job if you want somebody to be the mother of your kids and
she wants to not have a career and she that that is a full-time
career. So if they choose to do that, that's great. But, you know, I think you want someone
to have, I think when they, I think people are most happy. They're happier when they have
something. They're motivated by something. If you date someone and they're not doing anything, they're
just like, whatever you want to do, batch, whatever you want to do. Then I think it's just not
as fun. It's like you want them to say, hey, you know, in a sense, it's like, I can't do it
Tuesday. I'm actually, I have a client or something that they're, even if it doesn't make the money,
but they're passionate about it,
they help people, they do whatever.
Something they have a purpose in their life.
So you're not their only purpose
so you don't feel as like...
They're using you.
Or responsible.
Like, I'm responsible for you.
And I think you don't want to get resentful.
So I think that there's probably a little thing
like where you want somebody to has their shit going on a little bit.
They don't have to make a lot of money.
I never usually have dated women that make a lot of money.
You know, that doesn't matter.
As long as they have a good heart
and they're really good people.
Right.
You know, and they have something going on.
Something.
Yeah.
I don't care what it is something.
Yeah.
And what you're doing today?
Running a few errands, great.
Yeah.
Hit me up when you're done.
Yeah.
Can you take me to lunch?
No.
Man, this is pretty fascinating, isn't it?
Rob, this is a fascinating interview.
Because you go on IMDB and you look up King Batch, Bachelor, Andrew Bachelor.
Yes.
When's the last time you heard Andrew Baxter?
From your mom.
Yes.
What'd she call you?
Andrew?
Yeah.
she does she's the only what you ever say you ever get into your cocky days you're like mom it's
king no way bust that ass no way no way yes she what did you get spanked as a kid oh yeah you did
who beat your ass uh mom and dad i remember one day my sister she framed me she uh broke something in
the house and then told my dad it was me and he beat your ass yep and were you still to this day
you're upset about that i'm still you believe her i didn't do that
Did you get her back?
No, my sister's smarter than me.
Really?
Yeah, she's smarter than me.
So she could have been a lawyer if she wanted to.
Because I had no defense.
Like, I was just like, I didn't do it.
They were like, prove it.
I said, I said, you know what you should have said when they asked you to do the business?
You said, no, it's because you beat me that day.
You beat my ass that day, and that's why I'm not doing it.
That's why I'm not doing the business anymore.
Hey, how many videos do you do a week?
How many do you, and how much prep do you do on these videos?
Oh, no prep at all.
You just improvise like, that'll be fun, let's do that.
Yeah.
So you and I were sitting here right now, and we were like, you know what we should do?
We should get in our underwear and do put lotion on me, put lotion on me, please put lotion on me.
And you just have bottles, people squirting giant bottles of lotion all over us.
Yeah.
And I just do a six-second thing.
And then that would be the video.
Yeah.
That's all you do.
That's all I do.
And you just come up with that shit and you just hit it.
Yeah.
And I think it helps me too when I'm on set, too, because I already know what people like.
I know what people like.
So things like that help me.
And I've just developed just the pattern and the rhythm of making a video.
So I know, like, when we're shooting it, ah, that's not going to work.
Oh, that will work.
You know what I mean?
You get somebody to, like you said, to shoot them for you at all?
Yeah, yeah.
So somebody shoots it and edits it and then you put it on Instagram.
Yeah.
And they do it quickly.
Yeah.
So they can turn this around.
I edit it.
You edit it.
You have a bay?
No, I do it right here on my phone.
What's the app?
Imovie.
Imovie.
It's that easy?
Yeah.
So, for instance.
Damn, guys.
Go to I'm movie and start making an.
making some videos so this video right here i film her
she films me so there's no one else there
it's just me and her that's it that's it you do a couple takes yeah do a couple
I really one take we do one take one take one take one take boom boom and then I put it up
you make videos every day yeah every day are you addicted to it uh not addicted I go through
creative phases so i'll go through um if i make one video and i was like boom and it hits then i just
keep going i keep going until i lose that momentum and it'll last like it'll last about three months
can you still do a backflip uh i haven't tried in a while when was the last time you did a backflip
that one video off the wall yeah yeah the back loop off the wall i haven't done one in like three years
really uh do you ever feel like man i just want to retire you could probably retire with the money you've
already made can't yeah you can retire it's not for me now it's not even about the money it's about the
the uh the goals that i have what's the goals the goal is to be the biggest movie star in the world
you really want to be the biggest movie star in the world mm-hmm what if i told you i think that's
possible i'm here for it i i really believe that i don't i don't think this with many people
but from what i've seen and what i even the the things that i've seen just to interview your
person i'm just it's it's you just see it and i think it's because you're so confident you're so
free you're so open you could talk about anything you have no shame in some ways but you just
say what's on your mind i think that and look at the following you have already i think the world
is your oyster man thank i really i love that do you do you ever get anxiety have you ever
experienced anxiety in your life do you ever get depressed like what am i doing do you ever get
like down i need to need to see a therapist yeah yeah i definitely i definitely get down but what i've
realized is um i spend a lot of time alone and with that time alone
I'm able to figure out how to deal with my own personal issues.
So if I'm ever feeling lonely or sad, I know what my triggers are to make me feel better.
What are there?
A walk with, like, nature during the day.
Do that a lot?
No, no, no.
And I'll listen to like techno music.
And I realize that those are my triggers.
So if I'm ever in a state where I'm like depressed or sad, I'll do that.
And I won't abuse it because then I might get numb to it.
You know what I mean?
So I only do it when I really need to do it.
So you don't take a walk unless you really need it?
Like, like, yeah.
I'll only hike Runyon once a year when I'm really down to myself.
But other than I'm not exercising.
No, no, not even like that.
It's just like going and walking in the street with nothing to do, no purpose.
You know, like that's...
Being present.
Yes, exactly.
I'll just go out and just look.
Literally just look.
Look at these leaves.
Look how they're blowing.
Look over here.
Look how these cars are passing by.
Look at those couples talking to.
Oh, shit, man.
You're ruining my moment.
Yeah, you're right.
It's him.
Right here.
It's him right.
It's my son.
That's my son.
Hey, do you cry?
Yeah.
You do?
Yeah.
How often?
When I watch The Star is Born, I cried.
Should I see that movie?
You should definitely see it.
I cried three times.
Really?
Yeah.
I might cry.
I'm a crier.
Yeah.
Do you like, do you ever?
cry in front of women? Do you ever feel like you? I've never done that yet. Do you open up to people
like when you're dating them? Do you really like give them everything yourself? I love you. Are you quick
to say I love you? I'm not quick to say I love you, but I'm quick to let them know what will make me say
I love you. Like I'm quick to let them know like this is how relationship works. This is how it doesn't
work. This is why relationships fail. And I feel like if we together as a unit can come to an
understanding and make this work, then we can last for a very long time.
Are you honest about things like, hey, look, I'm the king.
Oh, you're not LeBronje.
No, I'm king back.
Do you ever say, they ever say, hey, look, you're not the only woman.
I'm dating other women.
I think that's obvious to you.
I don't want you get caught up in this.
If you like me, that's great, but maybe time will tell, but I'm not promising you anything.
Do you make, are you very confident and honest with women?
Yeah, and the way I do it is I let them know by,
example and also I let them know that hey you're free to do what you want to do too we can we can
hang out you know what I mean yeah and I let them do their thing and I do my thing in that way
there's a there's a mutual agreement and understanding are you a romantic guy if I really like a
girl I will be are you a vocal man in the bedroom uh yeah do you like to did you ever have a woman
yell your name yeah I had the weirdest situation
This girl
She was like
Tell me about the other girls
You're fucking
I was like whoa whoa
During sex
Yes
Did you go limp
I immediately
Immediately right
That's as bad as a fart
You might as well farted
Because you farted at your mouth
I thought it was a trap
I was like wait what
What?
Tell me about the other girls
You're having sex with
What?
That's weird
I knew you wasn't shit
Is that your SpongeBob
Backpack up there
That is
That's nice
Thanks
You like Spong
Bob? I've never seen the show. Well, why do you have a backpack with a giant SpongeBob
on it? My friend gave it to me. That's nice. Well, this has been a real treat, man. I could
honestly, I could talk to you for hours about shit. Will you come back? I will. I think this is
so fun, man. This is just like, it's just so easy to talk to you. I thought I have so much I
can talk to you about. Yeah. Can I bring a friend next time? Absolutely. What are you going to
bring? Amanda? Steph Curry. No, my friend Lamoran Morris. He's on New Girl. He was on the show
New Girl?
Dude, are you kidding me?
We'd have a blast.
Yeah.

It's called Rim of the World.
It'll be on Netflix in January.
Have you seen it?
Yes.
Is it funny?
It is funny.
You liked it.
Yeah, it's like a...
It's like a...
It's like, it's, it's, it's a sci-fi, too.
It's like a, uh, Stranger Things.
It's like their Netflix's Stranger Things movie.
Carl got a big part in that?
Uh, a decent, row.
Yeah?
Yeah.
It's about, I don't want to spoil it, but it's a kid, it's about the kids.
Mm-hmm.
It's about the kids.
So you're an adult?
Yeah.
All right.
I'm not going to say anything else.
Yeah.
You're a big Game of Thrones fan?
Yes.
I just had Hodor on the show.
Oh, what's his name?
The big guy.
Christian Naron.
Christian Narn.
Narn.
Yeah.
Yeah, good guy.
Nice.
Today, right?
He was on, no, Chris Sullivan from This Is Us came over earlier.
Ah.
You know, I worked with Chris Sullivan?
You did?
I'm what?
We're in the Madden game together.
Madden, man.
I wish I could be a voice on Madden.
It's fun.
That's good.
Well, hey, man, I love you.
I love having you here.
You're a great dude.
The world is your oyster, my friend.
Thanks for having me.
Thank you, King Batch for allowing me to be inside of you.
Oh, I felt great.
Yeah, it really did.
This was good.
Rob, did you enjoy this?
I did.
Yeah, I knew you would.
