Money in the Bank is moving. Money in the Bank is not happening Labor Day weekend anymore. It was originally scheduled for September 6th. Money of the Bank has now moved to Saturday, October 10th. So Insight Live, yes, we'll be moving as well. It was scheduled for the day before Money in the Bank in September. It will hopefully, waiting on confirmation here, move to the day before Money in the Bank in October. So it will now move to Friday, October 9th. Here's where we would take a huge swing and have Oba defeat and retire Brock at SummerSlam Night 1 and defeat Roman Reins for the world title at SummerSlam Night 2.

This one undoubtedly let the world know that Oba is the next guy. Your thoughts? Yay. Nay, maybe tweak it a little bit. Love the show. Bless you and your family. Well, I got to say, man, this king and queen of the ring tournament has been so unpredictable so far. And I love the fact that I was so wrong with my King of the Ring predictions.

So wrong. And I'm happy to admit that. And you know why I'm happy to admit that? Square up. You know what's going on, man? It's Andreberto. Two-time world champion. You know, I fought.

I loved it. I really wanted to do that sit down from a fighter's perspective. My G. What's going on? What's going on? What's going on? Now you got a chance to really draw in your audience to let them see who you are. I've had to have a lot of internal talks to say, do I even want to carry on?

But it's fighters, we know what time it is. Like, I think the time is now. Square up. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. Let's go. Because that means that things right now are unpredictable. When you looked at those original brackets, you're like, all right, well, this is what I did. I think this was also the general consensus from what I saw online.

Well, it's Bronbreaker and Oba over here. Well, it's probably going to be Bronbreaker moving forward. Oh, you get Seth Rollins over here. It's probably going to be Seth Rawlins moving forward here. Well, none of that happened except for. for Obafemi moving on. I didn't see Dominic Mysterio advancing, but I love it.

I thought it'd be Bronner. I also thought it'd be Seth Rollins in the finals. But man, we're getting Javon Evans with the win in that qualifier. Javon Evans moving on now, which I think is just like I just love the curveballs here. It's also like when you look at the talent thus far, I know we only have three so far in the semifinals, Obafemi, Dominic Mysterio,

and Javon Evans, three guys under 30. Amazing. And then we'll find out the next qualifier match is Jay Uso, L, A, Knight, yeah, Royce Keyes, and Finn Baller. I think it's going to be Finn Baller there. It's got to be. And then there's a lot of different ways it could go, but you could end up seeing Finn Baller, Dominic Mysterio is one of the options there. But pretty cool that whoever wins in this, Jay Uso, L.A. Knight,

Royce Keys, Finn Ballot. They're all over 30 years old, but pretty cool that three of the four in the semis will be under 30, the future of WWE. When you look at the queen of the ring, qualifying matches, I feel like they are cooking something up here by not only having Liv Morgan in this, but having her advance now to the semifinals. Maybe they're cooking up with Liv Morgan winning on this side, Raquel Rodriguez winning on this side. Maybe they're cooking something up there, but well, we now know it's going to be Eoskeye versus Raquel. And I just can't see EO Sky losing that one. I just can't.

The qualifying match that we still have here to determine who goes to the semifinals on the women's side, Sol Ruka, Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill. I think you could make a strong case for Charlotte Flair moving on. You can make a strong case for Jade Cargill moving on here. She wants your title back and you can make a strong case for Sol Ruka in the same way that you can make a strong case for any of the young guys in the King of the Ring tournament. So I just love that it's unpredictable right now. When we look at your scenario here, yeah, it makes sense.

It could make a lot of sense. And I feel like I've been looking at it personally, at least, as an either or situation. It's either Obafemi wins King of the Ring or he loses King of the Ring and faces Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. I would still love an explanation, which I don't think we're ever going to get, as to why the second match with Obafemi and Brock Lezzer happen at Clash in Italy. There's really no explanation storyline-wise or anything else beyond that as to why that rematch happened so quickly as to to why Brock Lesnar came out of retirement. I just thought that would have been explained in a bigger way. But there's no way that Brock Leser is not wrestling in Minneapolis.

Like there's no way. He doesn't come out of retirement to skip SummerSlam, the first ever two-night SummerSlam in his home state. So that is a foregone conclusion. Brock Lesnar has a match at SummerSlam. Well, why would Brock Lesnar? be wrestling anybody else right now with just the way that things are lining up

except for the trilogy with Obafemian. They keep reminding us, we're one and one, right? Perhaps, maybe that's a seed being planted for way down the line. I guess we could see that match at Summer Slam, but I don't think that's the case. The way that you've set this up

actually does make a lot of sense. What if it's a match with Brock Lesnar on one night? And what if it's a match with Roman Raines on the next night? And if you're going to do that, if you're going to have Obafemi defeat Brock Lesnar at a huge PLE like SummerSlam in his home state, well, if he's going to go on the next night to fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the OTC, you'd have to think that Obafemi's winning that. The alternative here, the alternative is,

Obafemi moves on to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, which is happening at Night of Champions in two weeks. So it means he defeats Dominic Mysterio, moves on to the finals. He's facing either Javon Evans or the winner of the other bracket, who I have predicted is going to be Finn Baller. And Brock Lezzer comes out and interferes in that match. It sets up the match they have at SummerSlim.

That's the way that I feel like it's going to play out. But again, maybe that's the all. obvious decision and maybe that's why it doesn't happen because it feels too obvious. But man, Obofemi, getting the rocket strapped to him in that sort of way. Yeah, could make a lot of sense. And historically, when you think about SummerSlam, it's a, it's a moment, a career-making moment. Like, think about some of the biggest stars who had their first world championship happen

at SummerSlam. Randy Orton, 2004. Brock Lesnar, 2002. Finn Baller, 2016. Man, what a full circle moment that could be for Finn Baller. If Finn Baller, man, I just thought about this now as I'm thinking about Finn Baller winning in 2016. If Finn Baller wins the King of the Ring tournament

and Night of Champions. And Finn Baller goes on to SummerSlam and has a story there to win the WWE championship or the World Heavyweight Championship, there's a story as well. But I'm interested to see how this plays out for all of the criticism about things being predictable. Man, I think we could both come up with a lot of examples

for each argument. Yeah, there's a lot of things that have been predictable. But are you telling me at the start of the year, you thought Cody Rose was going to lose the WWE championship? to Drew McIntyre on an episode of Smackdown? Did you foresee that coming? No, that caught us by surprise.

Did you think that Cody Rose was going to win the title back, not at a PLE, but also on an episode of Smackdown? Man, that was a bit of a surprise. Did you see Dominic Mysterio advancing in this King of the Ring tournament? Bronbreaker? Trick Williams? Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, in that same bracket?

How about on the other side of things? Did you see Javon Evans advancing there? When Seth Rollins was one of the people in that qualifying match? I feel like they're purposely keeping us on our toes. I'm interested. Zach Gata sent this in on chrisvanfleet.com. Hey, crease.

Crease, what am I? Hey, CVV, Creece. Long time listener, first time commenting. My question for, Ask CVV number Mattels series 139 edition. Have you noticed that anyone who has tried to be the leader of the judgment day has been kicked out? Edge, then Damian Priest, then Rhea. When they were champs and they're calling the shots, Finn, when he tried to take over,

are we going to see this happen again to live? Maybe a king of the ring in the finals, it's Raquel versus Liv. And going into it, Liv is only thinking about who she's going to face after she wins. then when Raquel wins and she says this is for when you eliminated me at the rumble now we get even then goes full Batista and all of the judgment day then turns on live not sure how the dom live thing accounts for it maybe Roxanne squirms her way into the upcoming weeks it could make sense but then do we have because if you turn on live Morgan I think that makes the judgment day baby faces I don't know if that necessarily works I'm not saying that they couldn't work as baby faces, but the judgment day has been really great as heels, even if they're doing funny things like Carlito or doing entertaining things like Dom. You still just love to boo Dom. They're like heels through and through, even though you may want to like them or want to cheer for them. I could see this happening. I could definitely see that happening. As we look at the

brackets, though, I just don't, I can't see any scenario. I can't see any reason why Raquel Rodriguez would beat Eoskeye. I still, like, I think Eoskeye winning Queen of the Ring makes a ton of sense. I also, depending on what happens in this other qualifying match, I think you can make a strong case for Charlotte Flair. Charlotte Flair winning Queen of the Ring. It still doesn't make a lot of sense to me why Liv Morgan is even in the Queen of the Ring tournament, maybe that will actually be explained, but it's like, if it were to play out where Liv Morgan advances to the finals

and say, EO. Sky advances to the finals, but what the heck? That's a match we were looking forward to maybe happening at SummerSlam. Why would that happen here at Night of Champions in the Queen of the Ring tournament? Which makes me think, whoever Liv Morgan faces from the other bracket,

Solruca, Lyra, Charlotte Flair, or Jade Cargill, I would have to think that the winner of that moves on to the finals, which I think would be Charlotte Flair. There's always been some dissension in the Judgment Day, so I see where you're going with this. And I don't know, the Judgment Day's days may be numbered. Everybody in the judgment day would be perfectly fine doing things on their own. Perfectly fine.

Like they're all stars in their own right. I don't know if the judgment day continues on for another year or two or six, like the bloodline. Tim Roberts on Spotify. I love the interview with Heidenreich. How did you get this to happen, CVV? Man, what a great conversation. John Heidenreich is just a great guy with an incredible story. and I'm honored that I was the one who got to sit down with him for his first interview in more than 10 years.

The last interview he did was WrestleMania 33. He did at the Russell Con there with Hannibal. That was, yeah, 10 plus years ago. So that would have been April of 2016. So when that photo of him working at Walmart went viral, I just, I reposted book pro wrestlers on Twitter, post, that. I reposted it. I quote tweeted it and I said, hey, if anyone knows how to get in touch with Hydenreich, I'd love to have them on the show. And I didn't hear anything. And that post that

book pro wrestlers put up got like a million or a million and a half views. My retweet of it got like a million views as well. And I never, never heard from anybody. Nobody got in touch with me. And I thought, oh, well, I guess I'll just kind of leave that out there. And maybe one day it'll lead to something. And then I got an email actually through the contact form on chrisfamily.com, the same way that you send in questions for AskCCEV. And it was a message from John Heidenrich. And it was like, hi, Chris, this is John Heidenreich.

I hear that you're trying to get in touch with me. Actually, let me see if I can find the actual email here. Here it is. From John F. Heidenreich. Subject. Heidenreich possible interview. I had a friend that came to work, came to Walmart where I work to remodel the store. He said you may be possibly interested in interviewing me. I am extremely interested and would be honored and very, very grateful to talk about my experiences in life with pro wrestling and professional football. I've been very fortunate and blessed to also work in a movie, several TV shows, and a documentary on TLC. I would love to share my

life and story in hopes of inspiring others that anything is possible. The human spirit is one of the most amazing and powerful forces in the universe. Thank you so much for your time and consideration, sincerely, John Heidnreich. Then he left his cell phone and also his address in Louisiana. And I wrote back to him and he said, here's my phone number. And then we went back and forth on voice notes for a little while and texts. And we set up a time. I said, I'll fly to New Orleans. I'll figure out where we can shoot it there and we'll make it happen. And he is one of the, he's one of the kindest, most gentle people you could ever meet. It was so great. I spent two days with him. I flew in on a Monday and I got to my hotel and met up with John and we went out to dinner

and just chatted. Just like, chatted like we were old friends, learned about him, learned about his life, learned about him growing up in New Orleans, some of the things he's been through, what life after Walmart or what after WWE looks like, getting his job at Walmart the last, I think it was three years ago he got hired at Walmart and just like what he's been up to. And then we did the interview the next day at my hotel. And the interview was like, what, an hour 15-ish? But then we ended up chatting afterwards for a while. He brought all these photos of all the cool things that he's done throughout his life and career. He's a great, great guy.

And if you've listened to the episode, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. If you haven't checked it out, man, it might be one of the most heartfelt interviews I think we've ever done on the show. And I'm so excited to see what's next for John. There is just an outpouring of love and support for him. And I know that he feels it.

And I know that he appreciates it. And he's doing some upcoming appearances and I'm sure many more will be added, but the big one is the big event in New York, in November. If you're from that area, you know how big of a show the big event is. So if you're planning to go to the big event, I'm sure Mr. Hydenreich would love to meet you there. But man, what a great episode, great conversations.

Great, great guy. Mr. Miao Puss on Spotify said, respectfully disagree about the brand split being bad. If they had done ruthless aggression-style brand split, but with zero crossover unless for, say, Survivor Series, like what other scripted TV shows do, like one Chicago, that have separate creative teams, showrunners, and compete against each other for a limited bonus pool,

then push shows to be their best. I never said the brand split was bad. I think you misunderstood me. When I was talking about my unpopular opinion about wrestling, I said the draft. The draft is terrible. I love the idea of the brand split, but what I hate about the draft, and maybe I wasn't clear enough about this on Ask CVV number 138 last week, what I hate about the draft is that it would only last for like two weeks before, like, the waters would get so muddied, and this person who was supposed to be on Raw is now on Smackdown for some unexplained reason,

and that's what I hated about it. Because if they were trying to make this, like pro sports, where pro sports does a draft, then you got to stick with the team that drafts you. You can't get drafted by the Cleveland Browns and then in week three, just randomly start playing for the New Orleans Saints with no explanation of like, oh, this person was traded and this person is going to raw and this person is going to smack them. This happened for way too many years in WWA. So if they were truly trying to make this a real draft, then you would have the trades and

like, all right, so we're sending, I'm just making stuff up here, we're sending Finn Baller to Smackdown in exchange for Finn Baller, you're getting, I'm again, just making this up, Ethan Page, who I get, I'm making things up here because people are on Smackdown and on raw, but you would explain it like that. It just doesn't make sense that you play seven games for the Toronto Blue Jays, and then all of a sudden, midway through the series, You're now playing for the New York Mets. That's my problem with the draft. And that's why I was so happy

that they didn't do a draft in 2025. Because I like logical things. I like when things make sense in wrestling. And I know that doesn't happen all the time. I know there's a lot of times when wrestling is quite illogical. But I really appreciate when wrestling is logical. And if you've got rules for the draft,

you should stick to them. that's my issue with the draft. The brand split makes perfect sense. You've got TV time for people on Monday. You've got TV time for people on Tuesday. You've got TV time for people on Friday. I think it should, for the most part, stick to that. And I agree with what you're saying.

You've got a creative team writing raw. You've got a production crew that's filming raw. You've got a production team and writing team on NXT. You've got a production team and writing team on Friday with Smackdown. I agree that in that way, yeah, for the most part, that should be the way that it is. And I think early on with the brand split, we really did get it where it was like Raw versus Smackdown. Hell, one of the greatest video games for PS2 was Raw versus Smackdown, the whole series of them. But now it's just kind of like, if you buy tickets to Raw, yep, chances are you'll see Roman Raines if he's there.

you'll probably see CM Punk if he's there. Like if you buy tickets to Smackdown, you'll probably see Cody Rhodes. But at the same time, if they want to like spike ratings or if there's a storyline that lends itself to it, if SmackDown happens to be in Chicago, well, you're probably going to hear a call to personality

and the guy who is signed to the Monday night show is going to be showing up on Friday. I always just like to take a step back. and look at this through the lens of a non-wrestling fan. Like try explaining some of this to a non-wrestling fan, and sometimes it just gets a little silly. That's all I was saying. If you're going to have a draft, stick to the draft.

That's it. That should even be an unpopular opinion. That should just be like, oh, yeah, Chris, that makes a lot of sense. Hey there, I'm Paula Pan. That's an interesting fact, right? I put this out. Nine years ago, Bray Wyatt, 2017 is the last time that a WWE superstar

whose age began with a two won the WWE championship or a world title. Who's going to be the next one? I think when you look at the landscape right now, I think Obafemi seems the most likely. I think Obafemi would be where my money would be on if there was a line for this on my bookie. But when you look at the names that you listed off here, who has the chance to do it before they turn 30? Dominic Mysterio has a full year. He doesn't turn 30 until April 5th next year. And I know what you're going to say. Oh, Chris, he's the AAA mega champion.

I get that. We are specifically talking about the WWE championship or the WDW. World Heavyweight Champion. I know that this always ends up being the asterisk that people want to go, well, actually, I get it, but that's not what we're talking about here. So Javon Evans has a ton of time to do this. And I've talked about this at great length. I think that he has a real potential to be one of the youngest W.W.E champions of all

time, if not the youngest. He has the potential if he becomes W.W.E. champion before he turns 26. he could beat Brock Lezzer's record. Randy Orton at 24 is the World WWE World Heavyweight Championship record. There's also a real possibility on that one. Bronbreaker's 28 with an October birthday. October 24th shares the same birthday as my sister. So he's got a year almost and a half to make this happen.

Very, very real possibility. I think that Bronbreaker is a world champion, not just within the next year and a half, I think within the next 12 months. But yeah, I really think Obafemi is the one who's going to do it. And I think that that's going to happen sometime within 2026. It could be in that scenario that we talked about earlier with SummerSlam, but, man, not only is Obafemi hot right now and over right now,

but like he is over in such a huge, huge way. And I think that this momentum, can only build for so long. Like this, it ends up reaching a boiling point. And I think that you just can't keep teasing this for too long until people go, well, what the heck? And like people just get frustrated and annoyed with it. But I think it's Obafemi and I think it's this year.

Will's underscore treasure on Instagram says, okay, CVV, quick. It's 2004 and you're backstage at a WWE show. You only have two hours to interview four wrestlers. Who are they? This is a good one that we can dive into here. So it's 2004. I'm going to do four interviews backstage at a WWE show. Since the roster shifts a little bit,

depending on which month of 2004 we're talking about, to make it fair, we are going to talk as if it is today, as if it is June 12th, 2004. And shout out to the Smackdown Hotel dot com. This is amazing. You can put the exact date in, any date, and you can see the full roster on that date. Also, you can see who all the champions are. And man, what a stacked roster this is. This is, man. And you got to remember, this is 2004. This is June of 2004. So the possibility of

an interview with Stone Cool, not happening. Possibility of an interview with The Rock, not happening. So got a lot of potential here. But if I'm I'm going to look at this through the lens of a 2004 person in 2004. That's how I'm going to look at this. I'm not looking at this in hindsight of like, oh, man, I'd like to go in my DeLorean. Do, do, do do do do to do, do to do. Back to the future style, 22 years back and like talk to a, you know, someone on the early part of their career.

It would be so great to like have a perspective of that. I am looking at this as if I'm about to recognize. record this and put it on the podcast, put it on the YouTube channel in 2004, if YouTube existed then. What would be the most interesting conversations with the storylines at that time or just like legacy at that time? Right off the bat, we got to go with Eddie Guerrero. World champion at that time. One of the best wrestlers in the world through the lens of looking at it now, but then, oh my gosh, I don't know if anybody was more popular in the summer of 2004

than Eddie Guerrero. He would have been four months into his title reign. He would have defeated Brock Lesnar for that championship at No Way Out 2004. You remember the build to it. Unbelievable, what a promo. Eddie Guerrero talking about, I am an addict.

Goosebumps. This would have been Eddie Guerrero coming off of that incredible match that he had at WrestleMania 20 with Kurt Angle? This would have been Eddie Guerrero having a ton of just great matches. Eddie Guerrero for sure. And this is actually right before Eddie loses the championship to JBL. And like that ends up being a whole other like saga and a whole other phase of WWE and the great heel work. that JBL did as the champion.

So Eddie Guerrero, for sure. 2004? I'm definitely going to sit down with Sean Michaels. And if you think about who Sean Michaels is in 2004, he had just returned to WWE two years prior in the summer of 2002 after all of us thought he was legit retired, that severe back injury. He comes back very much like Kobe Bryant style,

like two very different careers as number eight and number 24. Same thing with Sean Michaels. And I think you could make a really strong argument that the second version of Sean Michael's career, but they're both Hall of Fame careers, which is just crazy. Again, like put the comparison to Kobe in number eight, number 24. I think that the second version of Sean Michael's career is better than the first, but they're both, like, I mean, come on. It's like they're both amazing.

They're both incredible Hall of Fame careers, but I would love to sit down with Sean Michaels in that time and just like, see where he's at. See what his headspace is like. You know who all I'm sitting down with in the summer of 2004? I'm sitting down with Randy Orton,

who at that time is the current intercontinental champion. He's in the middle of a breakout year. This is actually not that different from where like, Obafemi would be, like in this exact moment of like he's on the rise. You can tell he's going to be a world champion. He's just firing on all cylinders, like super, super over. Randy Orton's the icy champion. Little does he know that he's about to become the youngest ever world champion just a few

months later at SummerSlam. It'd be really interesting to just gauge where Randy Orton is at at that point in time, stepping out of the shadow of his father, getting into the work that he's doing here, and like on the verge of greatness. So we've got Eddie Guerrero, we've got Sean Michaels, we got Randy Orton. Look, the Undertaker would be great. But if this is 2004,

we're not getting an interview with The Undertaker. We're not getting the great stories that Mark Callaway tells now. And I appreciate that, but it's going to be the Undertaker in character. That's not what I'm looking for here. So there's a lot of different ways you could go with this. But I'm going to go with Triple H.

Eight-time world champion at that point has just come off some of the best heel work of his career, perhaps even the best heel work of all time. Like Triple H is an all-time legendary heel. Yes, you can make the case for people like Vince McMahon. There's a lot of people you can make a case for, man, Triple H just like, it just made you angry. Triple H at that point is also coming off some legendary matches with this version of Sean Michaels that we're talking about coming back after retirement.

I think also selfishly because I was such a huge Triple H fan during that time, I would just want to be able to sit down with that version of the game. So Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton, Triple H. Eddie Guerrero, Randy Orton, Triple H, and Sean Michaels. Man,

the chamber, even the Royal Rumble have all become pretty pointless from a storyline perspective. recently. Anthony, I will 1,000% agree with you on war games. For the most part, other than when we had like New Bloodline versus Old Bloodline a few years ago, Survivor Series is essentially just like, take five women against these five women, these five men against these five men. Like, it's just, it's November. Let's just have this 10-person match. I'm with you on that.

I'm not saying, I'm not saying do away with it. I'm saying, make it mean something. Make it mean something. Money in the bank, I disagree with you there. I think money in the bank is still such an interesting thing. I mean, how can you say that money in the bank's pretty pointless when we had one of the greatest cash-ins ever last year at SummerSlam? Money in the bank, I think, is always that variable as hanging in the background. I think money in the bank's done wrong when the person wins it and cashes in that night or tries to cash in that night and is unsuccessful. I think the Drew McIntyre Money in the Bank win slash cash in like we talked about

last week. That's pointless. I agree with you there. Sure, that tried to, that specific example tried to advance the storyline with CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. And it did. I just don't know if money in the bank needed to be sacrificed to pull that same thing off.

I think money in the bank makes a ton of sense. Chamber this year proved that it makes sense. It's that last spot. Chamber even last year with the John Sina storyline. It's that last spot to get yourself into WrestleMania. John Sina doesn't win the Royal Rumble. Can he win Chamber? Oh, he wins Chamber.

John Sina is going to WrestleMania. I think Chamber makes a ton of sense as well. Royal Rumble I've got some issues with. the main issue being they keep telling you that the winner of the Royal Rumble gets a guaranteed main event match at WrestleMania, not a guaranteed title shot at WrestleMania, a guaranteed main event match. Well, the last time I checked, that's not what's happening.

So I think you can continue to have it where the Royal Rumble winner gets their title shot. let's stop pretending that it's a main event match. Like, just stop using that language around it. It's just a lie at this point. But I don't think the Royal Rumble is pointless at all. And I think the Royal Rumble just is a match is just so fun. It's a really great opportunity, too, to bring in either lapsed fans or new fans. Here's an introduction to 30 female superstars.

Here's an introduction of 30 male superstars. one or two or three of them may even be nostalgic place. And you can explain to that person, oh, this person actually hasn't been here in 10 years, and they did this, this, and this and wrestling, and that's exciting and meaningful because of this, this, I think the Royal Rumble is a lot of fun just as a match. But when it comes down to it,

not only is the person who wins it able to get over and have their title shot not main event at WrestleMania, But then you get the storylines of like the final four or you get the storylines of like, well, why did that person eliminate that person? And that ends up turning into a storyline on their own. I think war games, for sure, figure something out there to make it make sense. But the other ones, I don't know. I think there's a lot of examples of when it did work really well. You know, Ria Ripley wins the chamber, goes on to WrestleMania, wins the chance, I just think that that I think that one makes a lot of sense.

I wouldn't change that really at all. KWMS.29 on Instagram says, hey, CVV, I understand tables, ladders, chairs, and other tools, but why are Kendo sticks under the ring? I appreciate this question so much. This is another example of like, why wrestling should be logical. I'm with you. and why do the tables that are under the ring have a slim gym logo on them? Like within the storyline, I mean.

Maybe the kendo sticks were left there. Like maybe Steve Blackman was, I don't know, maybe the sandman. Maybe the sandman happened to stop by. And he left him under the ring. And they just happened to be there. I'm with you. I think it's cool when weapons are placed strategically for weapons matches. but when you're just like pulling up the apron and it's like,

I don't know if I should be saying this because we haven't recorded it. It's not in the can. yet. But if all goes to plan, this Monday, I'll be sitting down with the great colleague for, I believe, his first ever podcast. He's done shorter interviews here and there, but we're sitting down with him for like an hour or so. And I'm pumped. He has so many great stories I've heard from a lot of wrestlers that are like, he's like way funnier than you would think. Can't wait for that. Vicki Guerrero loudly announcing my name, like just excuse me. And then like announcing that I'm there would be embarrassing. But it would get some attention.

That one at least would be done. I'd be like ripping a band-aid off. Although then I guess for the rest of the night, the staff would be like looking at you with a side eye. The other patrons in the restaurant would be like, oh, that's the guy. That's Chris Fam Fleet. I only know that because that woman over there with the Karen Hare yelled out his name. Who is this guy think he is?

be pretty cool to just spend every evening with Great Collie and he's reading me Harry Potter. I've seen the films, never read the books. I'm going to go with Great Collie. Sounds like fun. One, the pro underscore wrestling guy Zero on Instagram says, will you ever do an interview with Ilya Draganoff? So I've never told this story before. I did an interview with Ilya Draganoff via Zoom like three years ago. I think this have been like maybe early, 23. And he was, he was like, he just had a bad internet connection wherever he was.

I actually think he was in Germany. And the internet connection was just, it was bad. It kept dropping out and like, you could understand the idea of what he was saying, but like every third or fourth word was getting clipped. And it was like, oh man and it was it was like a 20-ish minute interview if i'm remembering this correctly and after the

interview the representative from wwee was like i'm so sorry about the internet connection we will reschedule one with him at another time but if you can't air it like let us know but if you can't air it like we completely understand because like the connection was bad i watched it through and like it just was not something that we could air it was a great conversation. Man, what a great wrestler. And I would love to have Ilya back on the show now because he's accomplished so much more in these last three years. So I would love to have him on, have technically done an interview with him, but haven't had him on the show because of the technical difficulties. And this is one of the reasons. There's many more, but it's one of the reasons

why I don't do Zoom interviews. The main one is I just, I want to be able to sit down with that person. and be in the room with them, shake their hand, look them in the eye, give them a hug. But the other one is like, you can't control what their audio or video sounds like. And this is one of those examples. And I get that there's a myriad of reasons as to why Zoom interviews can and do work.

But whenever possible and sitting down with them, nothing beats it. I just sat down with Biggie for an interview that I think's coming out in like two, weeks. He has some big things to talk about in this interview, which I'm sure you'll be seeing and hearing about soon. But I can't imagine being with a personality like Big E over Zoom. It was just great. I flew to Oakland for the day. We did the interview. Amazing. That's great conversation. Drew Ballman on Facebook says,

how many big show open-hand chops would you take for a Klondike bar? What would you do for a Klondike bar? Fun story about that. When I did that interview with Big Show that a lot of you might have seen where I'm standing by the water in Miami, 10 years ago, man, that was 10 years ago. 2016, I was working for Deco Drive, the entertainment show on Channel 7 in Miami. that interview got like three or four million views on YouTube crazy so it's actually the reason that a lot of people ended up finding my YouTube channel so grateful for that during the interview

I asked him to give me a chop I wanted it I would if he said take off your shirt I'll chop you right now hell yeah peeling the shirt off but I asked him and he gave this like very like corporate like legalese answer where he was like basically telling me all the legal reasons as to why he could not perform a wrestling move on me. And I was like, okay, well, at least I asked, but zero Klondank bars. I would do it for free. Klonk bars are delicious. I would gladly take one if you want to throw one in. But I tried. I tried and I was unsuccessful. Maybe the rules are different because he works for AEW now and not WWE. I doubt it. I doubt Big Show wants to injure anybody. There's the classic.

story about Hulk Hogan, right? Put in the, who was that? The TV host in a front face lock and a headlock and he passed out and turned into a lawsuit. If you saw the Hulk Hogan docu-series, you know exactly what I'm talking about with this. But I would gladly take a chop from the big show, gladly. Tanner Lee wrote this in on Chris Vanfleet.com. Hey, CVV, I know AEW is still young in its company history. But who is currently on your AEW Mount Rushmore? Keep up the great work, Tanner Lee. I think you've got to start off with Chris Jericho. He's been there since day one. He instantly gave mainstream credibility to this brand new startup company that was starting up in 2019. He brought this star power to this new company. You got to go with Chris Jericho, who was also the first ever

AEW world champion. He was the guy who I think bridged the gap for a lot of people. The AEW roster in 2019 was full of talented people. But there was only a handful of them that would be household names or people that you would even recognize. Chris Jericho was at the top of that list. I think without Chris Jericho, AEW in the beginning years, beginning months, isn't able to have the same buzz that it has.

I think you got to put John Moxley on there. John Moxley is the man who's held the W or the AW World Championship more than anybody else. He's a four-time champion. Early on, he was a huge surprise when he showed up at AEW's first show, Double or Nothing 2019. I remember being there. I remember the massive reaction. His contract with WWE had just expired like a month before.

and he was this huge surprise. Like there was speculation about it, but he was a huge surprise. And he's kind of been the MVP. He's kind of been the person who has been there through all of it, through all of what AEW's done from 2019 to now. I think you've got to go MJF.

He's the homegrown talent. And someone who's been there since day one. And when you hear people talking about AEW, there's a lot of conversation about Maxwell Jacob Friedman. And I've pointed this out. A lot of people talking about his mic skills, his character work. His wrestling is so underrated because he's so, so good.

Like 10 to 10 promo. I think that people just assume he's like an okay wrestler. My God, watch any MJF match. He's fantastic. And he also just turned 30. like the future is so, so bright for him. Hard to talk about AEW without talking about MJF. And that fourth spot, I'm going to go with Kenny Omega.

If we're talking about people who are like the people you think up when you think of AEW, he's been there since the beginning. I mean, he's an EVP recognized by a lot of people as the best bout machine. and I think that especially when you think of the early few years of A.E.W. Who is consistently having these incredible matches, Kenny Omega. So I think those are my four. This will obviously shift as A.W. continues to have more history. But it's an interesting question because it's early, right?

they're seven years in, early. But I think if we look at those seven years, those are the, that's the Mount Rushmore for me. Angelo Aramos on Facebook with another Mount Rushmore. I love this. Real, real one here. What's your Mount Rushmore of play-by-play announcers?

To narrow it down to just four is tough. Jim Ross, the voice of my childhood, the voice of my adolescence, the voice of the attitude era, all the biggest moments during the late 90s, early 2000s, it's Jim Ross. Got to put Jim Ross on there.

He also just had, he was so perfect for the attitude era, like everything was just a little bit larger than life. And the way that like, it was telling us the steel steps weighed 200 pounds or whatever it was, it's telling us that the ladder that edge speared Jeff Hardy off of, was a 20 foot ladder.

And when I was like, well, I can count the rungs. It's clearly a 12 foot ladder. I can, if that's a 20 foot ladder, then Edge, Christian, and the Hardy Boys are all 10 feet tall because they are half the height of the ladder. But I think that though that like those exaggerations like just played into the attitude era so well. And he's had some of the most iconic calls in history. I think of course about mankind getting thrown off hell in a cell.

As God is my witness, he is broken. half. Everyone can do a JR impression. Michael Cole. Michael Cole is so good. And I think Michael Cole has always been good. But I think Michael Cole is finally getting his flowers now. Amazing. And like he brings this realism to it. Mike Teney. Mike today and Don West, but we're just talking about play-by-play commentators here. Mike Teney is an MVP of the early day. of TNA, especially like really early days, like 0203, but like when you get into like, in my opinion, the best years of TNA, like 05, 0607, 08,09,

it's Mike Tenae, man, this guy's just an encyclopedia when it comes to wrestling. Like he's so, so knowledgeable. And the way that he played off of Don West and Don West made no bones about it. Don West wasn't like he wasn't a wrestling guy. He was a t-lawful. TV personality.

See him on the, like, was it the shopping network? So good. Or QVC. But he was so good at adapting to it. And like, he was us. He was the fan sitting there, like, reacting to it and having the same kind of excitement that we would have. But Mike Teney did so, so good.

And then I have nothing but love for Joey Stiles. Oh my God. A one-man broadcast team. who somehow made it work. And I love the passion that he called ECW with. Like Joey Stiles is just an MVP of ECW.

Like I feel like he was the glue that held it all together. I don't think maybe so much time has passed. I don't think enough people talk about how great Joey Stiles is. And maybe it's just a completely different generation. I think the younger generation may not just not be familiar

with it. I can understand that, but man, Joey Stiles so, so good. He like really like revolutionized the style of wrestling commentary in the 90s. Like it brought so much excitement to it. So I think those are my four. I think if we want to go way back, there's some other people we can add in there, but this is my Mount Rushmore. These are the four people that I'm going to put on it.
