Wherever you're listening right now, we had two big interviews this week, both figuratively and literally. Heyman on Tuesday, big E on Thursday. And man, those were some of my favorite interviews I've ever done. And both of them, I think they're like one and two now for the longest interviews ever on the show. I think the big E one's actually the longest. It was like a few seconds longer than the Paul Heyman one. We've also got one more really big one on the way. And I mean literally big. So think about that. there's also one I recorded in London early this week that is, I will say, figuratively big.

And what I mean by that is there's someone who very rarely does podcasts. So feel free to make your guesses. If I saw you in London on Monday, and I had a blast at Monday Night Raw. A lot of you guys were like, who did you interview today? And I said, I interviewed so and so. So if I saw you on Monday, you know exactly who I'm talking about with this podcast with a person who very rarely does podcast, but I will tell you this. It's such a good one. We get deep into some topics. There's some emotional moments. That interview will go live on July 9th. Actually, July 7th and July 9th. We've got the literal big one and the figurative big one. Maybe later on in the show, I'll let the cat out of the bag and let you know about all these. But I'm just pumped. It's been an

amazing year so far. I mean, it's crazy to think that the year's half over now. I mean, in a few days, that's it. Six months. Boom. Gone. And then six months to go in 2026. And I just want to say, I'm so grateful for all of the opportunities that we've had this year. There's been some insane guests on the show. I never would have thought that I would have recorded a long interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin at the Broken Skull Ranch. And what a way to kick off 2026. I never would have thought that we would have had two plus hours with Paul Heyman.

what would it take for Jay Uso to beat him? I can't see it with outside help. I can't see it without outside help, which would be lame for King of the Ring. I think something we got to point out here is Oba Femi is not invincible. And I get what you're saying. You got to book Oba Femi super strong.

But he has lost on the main roster. Granted, he lost to Brock Lesnar, The Beast, 7F5s, I get it, a very definitive victory for Brock Leser, but like it took a lot for Brock Leser to get Obafemie down for the one, two, three. Also, you may not want to remember it or you may not want to admit to it, but it was just last year at WrestleMania that Jay Uso made another invincible-looking guy, a guy by the name of Gunther tap out at WrestleMania. I get

that that was last year and this is this year, but that's a fun little factoid that people seem to forget when they're piling on Jay Uso. He got Gunther to tap out at WrestleMania. Yeah, the guy who made John Cena

tap out in his final match got tapped out earlier that year by Jay Uso. But I do appreciate I appreciate how we don't know how this King of the Ring match is going to go. I've been way off with my predictions. I'm sure that you have too. Obafemi going to the finals,

I feel like that's something that we could have figured out. But at the same time, especially a few weeks ago, we're all looking at this like, oh, well, Brock Lesder's going to interfere in the preliminary matches, the qualifier matches. Oh, I didn't. Brock Lezzer is going to definitely show up in the semifinal. right? Oh, Brock Leziger didn't show up there either. Hmm. Like the logical thing here,

when you look at Obafemi versus Jay Uso on paper at this exact moment, the answer feels obvious, right? It's Obafemi. But the fact that there's this possible trilogy with Brock Lesnar in the back of our minds makes you second guess it. And it's interesting, because if you look at the odds on MyBooky. I honestly would have thought that Obafemi would not only be the favorite, but he'd be the heavy favorite. So I guess the assumption here is that Brock Lezner is going to ruin his crowning moment. But I'm with you.

when you said, I can't see Jay Uso winning without the outside help, which would be lame for King of the Ring. I understand what you're saying here, Danimal, and I agree. But I can't see Obafemu losing this. I just can't see him losing with all of the momentum that he has. Even after a loss to Brock Lezor, he still has so much momentum. The only way I could see Jay Uso winning this is if they're going to have him turn to heal. because it's going to get booed.

If Jay Uso wins, he's going to get booed. Fans have turned on him, especially fans online. Although with that said, like I said, I was there at Raw in London, and he got one of the biggest pops of the night. Like when his music hits, everybody's on their feet. It's a big moment. Like this isn't like John Cena in the mid-20s or, The Big Dog Roman Raines were when the music hits, it's just pure booze.

No matter how John Cena or the Big Dog Roman Raines were getting booked, it was just pure booze. Jay Uso's still getting pretty big baby face reactions, although if you open up Twitter or Instagram, you might not think that way. But it's, remember, do you remember, like, the heart of the big dog Roman Raines. Do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do. Boo.

Just caught. Bo. Like absolute hate. They teased for us on Smackdown last week. They teased Cody Rhodes versus Jay Uso, which kind of makes me wonder if that's misdirection. What if we got a Batista-style moment where Jay chooses Roman? So Jay Uso wins King of the Ring and then he chooses to go after Romans championship

instead of Cody Rhodes. Like, you know, Batista turning on evolution. What if it's a moment like that? It would break up the bloodline. Maybe that's why the bloodline was brought back together for a big moment like that. But this King of the Rings final and the Queen of the Ring finals

is just making me scratch my head. Like, especially with the Queen of the Ring, make it make sense. Make it make sense here. Unless there's bigger plans here for Obafemi, like unless it's the Brock Lezor match that we're all kind of assuming is going to happen at SummerSlam,

I just can't see how he loses this. Unless Brock Lezzer comes out, destroys him, costs him the king of the ring, costs him that title shot at SummerSlam, Obafemi has no other choice. but to have this trilogy match at SummerSlam, like again, like we said, like we predicted. But I still like this idea of Obafemi doing double duty. And it's like it would be a huge moment for him.

Like, think about this. Obafemi wins King of the Ring. Goes on to face, I would guess it's Roman Raines, although it's interesting that they've seemed to switch this up, that you get to face the champion of your choosing. They made that very clear on Raw. It's the champion of your choosing. So it's Obafemi choosing Roman Reigns.

That'd be maybe Saturday, night one, night two, Obafemi versus Brock Lesnar. I could see this happening. I would love for this to happen. What better way to put the stamp on Obafemi and say, this is the guy. I can see that happening. WWE is obviously very high on Obafemi. You already knew that. You've seen that from the way.

way he's been booked since coming to the main roster. But just this week, Triple H was being interviewed by Stephen A. Smith, and he said that Obafemi is going to be as big a star as anyone has ever been in this business. It's quite the endorsement. It's quite the endorsement. So I'm picking Obafemi with this one unless we see some complete shenanigans. Again, shocked that Jay Uso is the favorite here.

As we look at Queen of the Ring, like I said, make this make sense. What the heck is Liv Morgan doing in the finals? E.O. Sky versus Liv Morgan is the match that we would likely have got if E.O. Sky had won Queen of the Ring versus anyone else. Now we have to assume the Queen of the Ring winner, whether it's E.O. Sky or it's Liv Morgan, is going to face Ria Ripley, which is great. like, E.S. Sky versus Ria Ripley one-on-one, sign me up for that. But why?

Logically, logically, why would we get Liv Morgan, the world champion versus Ria Ripley, the WWE women's champion? So champion versus champion, why would we be setting up for that match at SummerSlam? This isn't crown jewel. Why would we be getting champion versus champion? There's no story here. I get that there's history with Liv Morgan and Ria Ripley, with Dominic Mysterio, the Love Triangle that goes back to 2023.

But make, or 2024, I guess, make this make sense to me. And I guess that's why E.O. Sky is a pretty heavy favorite in this match. But then how do you have Liv Morgan, the champion, who hasn't defended this title yet? How do you have her lose to E.O. Sky, who then is only winning this match to earn a championship match. That's the part of it that I can't wrap my head around.

You've got champion, Liv Morgan, versus essentially challenger EOS guy in a non-title match here that, oh, by the way, is actually just a number one contenders match. I just can't figure that out. And there's been no real explanation here this whole time as to why Liv Morgan's even in this tournament, except for her saying, I want to win it all.

All right. I guess that makes sense. You want to win it all, but you're just going to carry around two championships, which we've seen before. No problem with that. But it's not like this is not going to be a title unification. If Liv Morgan wins this and then goes on to SummerSlam and wins that, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I just don't see that happening. None of that. I don't see any of that happening at all. Eoskeye is my pick here, but again, I just don't know how we get there. I don't know how you have

the women's champion still look strong and not win this match. Let's look now at Trick Williams, putting his WWE United States Championship on the line against Ricky Saints. St. making his W. WWE main roster, PLE debut with

this. I think this match is a perfect way to show the audience what Ricky Saints is all about.

I think the winner here is pretty obvious. I think Trick Williams wins the match, retains the

championship, but I think this is a chance to show people what Ricky Saints is all about.

Expect an incredible match here. Could possibly be one of the best matches of the night, but I think Trick Williams goes in with the title and also leaves with the title. Seth Rollins versus Braunbreaker in a steel cage match. The odds on this are dead even.

And I get it. It's tough. This is a tough one to call here. I don't think things are over between Seth Rollins and Bronbreaker, which leads me to believe this thing's going to continue on into, I would think, at least SummerSlam here. And I was kind of leaning towards Seth Rollins winning this match until Raw this last week because Rollins came out, interfered in that brahm breaker and Austin Theory tag team match against the street profits, cost the vision, their tag team titles. And I think that if this feud is going to continue on long term, I think the score has to stay like fairly close between these guys.

So I actually think there's a good chance here that we could see the return of Bronson Reed, who's been out for months with the bicep injury. I think he could like give the vision the edge that they need to win this match with some outside interference. Also Bronson Reed, if you've seen any of his photos on social media recently, it looks amazing, looks like he's ready to go, looks like he's ready to dive back in, pick right back up where things left off. I'm going to go with Bronbreaker,

but again, very interesting that the odds are dead even on this one. Then we'll look at the women's United States championship match. Tiffany Stratton putting her title on the line against Jade Cargill. We should point out here, this is the first time that the women's United States championship has been defended at a PLA.

and also the first time that both the men's and women's have been defended on the same PLA. There's a lot going on in this match because I feel like Jade Cargill has a lot of momentum going into this one. And a lot of momentum I wouldn't want to see slow down from a loss. The odds here on my bookie also dead even here. I see Tiffany Stratton winning

this match, but not winning it clean. I feel like Charlotte Flair could get involved here. She's been feuding with Jade Cargill and Jade Cargill's faction, which could set up a match, Jade Cargill versus Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam. But I guess if we're making that match, it could be a good chance that match could be for the United States Championship. I'm going to go, though, with Tiffany Stratton. SummerSlam in her home state of Minnesota. I know they're going to be doing a lot surrounding her in Minnesota. So I think that Tiffany Stratton, at the very least, goes into SummerSlam,

still the WWE United States women's champion. I'm going with Tiffany Stratton on this one, but just expect something to happen here. Expect some sort of a silly finish. And then the main event of the evening, Cody Rhodes putting his WWE championship on the line in a triple threat match versus Gunther and Sammy Zane.

My guess here is Sammy Zane is in this match because Cody Rhodes versus Gunther just recently happened. So this puts a new twist on it. It also helps to continue to feed in to Sammy Zane's heel turn that's happening here. Although when you listen to what he's saying,

it's kind of like Drew McIntyre-esque where it's like he's saying a lot of things that are really true, but he's saying them in a heel way, so you're like, well, saying a lot of things that, boy, it's hard to disagree with, but I guess he's saying it as a bad guy, so we're going to boo him. I can't see Cody Rhodes losing this, at least not yet. I think Cody Rhodes goes into SummerSlam as the champion, and who knows who his match is going

to be against. We'll have a much clearer picture after this weekend, but I think Cody Rhodes retains here at night of champions goes into SummerSlam, still the champion, but I'm calling it now. I know there's a ton of time between now and SummerSlam. We've got four or five weeks, but I think that,

I guess it's five weeks. I think that Cody Rhodes is no longer the champion after SummerSlam. And again, we don't even know who his opponent is going to be. But I just feel like

the tide seems to be turning. There seems to be this, it just seems to be this hope, I guess, for a new champion. There seems to be... WWE seems to be flirting with this. The way that Gunther lost clash in Italy,

the foot under the ropes, it's like, I know they're trying to continue to make him look strong. He got cheated out of that match. I get it. Here, Gunther doesn't take the pin. Not at all. This is Cody Rhodes, pinning Sammy Zane.

But I just got to wonder, how... How many more times is Sammy Zane going to keep getting that close and not winning it. Like, when is Sammy Zane finally going to win either the WWE championship or the World Championship? It's going to happen at some point in time, but when? Like, he can't just keep getting this close and then not win it.

I think it's just a matter of time for him. But then when you look at the title picture as a whole, when you look at the title picture for both, both titles, WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship, When you look at everybody that's at the top of the card or vying to be in that spot, there's a lot of people. What an embarrassment of riches. There's a lot of people vying for that top spot. At any point in time, you could have Randy Orton challenging for it. Gunther, who is challenging for it?

Sammy Zane, again, who is challenging for it? Seth Rollins could easily be thrown in there. Drew McIntyre. C.M. Punk. CM Punk certainly has a strong case. CM Punk, who we haven't seen since the raw after WrestleMania, could have a very strong case as to why he needs to be in the title picture.

Bronbraker had a title shot earlier this year. He could be right back in there. Like, again, a lot of options here for all those people vying for that top spot, and I feel like it's just a matter of time before we start seeing some title changes because of that. Glenn Gambonia on Facebook says the interview with Paul Heyman was so good, so many amazing stories. So keeping Paul in mind, who do you think could be the first Paul Heyman woman? My pick would be Jordan Grace.

I think that Jordan Grace would be perfect to be. be a Paul Heyman woman. And when you think about the Paul Heyman guys who have worked really well over the last, my goodness, it's been almost 25 years since he became Brock Lezner's advocate. He is an unbelievable storyteller. But when you think about all the people that he's managed, and there have been quite a few, he's managed a lot of champions, too. They all seem to have like one thing in common, at least the ones that have been like super successful. And it's that like Paul Heyman pushes them like they're a monster. Like Paul Heyman gets behind them and like there's just constant threat of like, don't, don't let me sick my dog on you. Like, it's this constant threat of like, ooh, you don't want, you don't know, this guy,

you don't want to mess with this guy over here. Jordan Grace would be perfect in that role. You know who would have been absolutely amazing? And we're going back in time here. We're doing some hindsight with the 2020 goggles on here. It would have been amazing when Awesome Kong was in WW. as karma. Karma would have fit that bill so perfectly. The list of Paul Heyman guys in general is a lot longer, I think, than you might realize. You immediately think of Brock Lezzer. They've

been together since Brock Lezzer's debut. There were some times when Brock Lezzer didn't have Paul Heyman, but then when Hamon returned to WWE in 2012, Paul Heyman's right there. Paul Heyman's there with Brock Lesnar and like, they're a team. It makes sense. Then when you think about Roman Raines, the tribal chief, been a pairing for six years. But then there's some like shorter ones that just for whatever reason worked and they

just weren't as long and there were some that didn't work. We talked about it during the interview. Why Curtis Axel didn't work. Why Cesaro didn't work. But then like he was great with CM Punk. He was, remember when Kurt Engel was being. managed. I know Paul Heyman hates the term managed, but when Paul Heyman was his advocate, you also, of course, had Rob Van Dam, Big Show, Heidenreich. Like, there's a bunch of them.

But I think they all have that same thing in common of like, oh, I've got this killer and I'm going to unleash this killer on you. So Jordan Grace, a perfect example of that in this current era. and man, could you imagine if it was Awesome Kong slash Karma? 10 plus years ago? Wow. Brennan Beacham 54 on Instagram says, what are your thoughts on Lyra turning on Bailey? Let me not forget.

Ask CVV number one, WrestleMania 41, the never seen 17's last match wrestling at Mania edition. Brennan, we are on the same page with that. I love it. I was there. I was there on Monday, but I was there when Lyra turned on Bailey. I kind of felt it in the air.

They were hanging out in the ring a little extra long after that match. And I went, oh, here it comes. I'm really interested to see what happens with Lyra as a heel now. I feel like giving Lyra a little bit of that edge, I think, could really help her. She's so great at coming out of the ring and like putting in the work and doing what she does. I think with a little bit of like a devil on her shoulder there, maybe cheating to win a little bit,

doing some heelish things. I think this could really help take her to the next level. Her wrestling's already superb. She's so crisp in the ring. And I think that this might help with the character work to step things up a level. little bit. So really excited to see what happens here. I think, though, and I saw a lot of memes about this online, I think this just goes to show that hugs in WWE, they're dangerous. They're dangerous. I mean, think about it. Cody Rhodes hugging John Cena. What happened after that? Elimination Chamber

last year. Remember when Liv Morgan at Survivor Series last year jumped up on John Cena, him that big hug. But what happened there? Kicking the nuts. I guess there was also kicking nuts in the other one, too. Those were kind of like playing off of each other. Then we got another hug here. Lyra and Bailey. From their friendship, no more. It's kind of been like, if you think back to last year, it's kind of a similar way that Becky Lynch turned on Lyra, the Rafter to WrestleMania. Similar-ish thing here. I also think I love Bailey as a baby face. I mean, I'm not saying she's not a good heel. I just, I love cheering Bailey. So great to see her. This, I think, puts her over more as a baby face. But Lyra, excited to see what's next for her.

That was one thing that definitely stood out. The idea that like something that's happening this week on Raw actually might be playing out three weeks from now, four weeks from now, four months from now. Like when Paul Hamer was talking about how he's, they're already looking ahead to Russellmania 43 and also beyond that, WrestleMania 44, his exact words were, let's write the last page and then fill everything in from there. I thought that was really interesting. And I preach this all the time with like,

we've got to have a little bit of patience. And I get that there are some things that are just like, they're the outliers. For example, this Liv Morgan thing and Queen of the Ring. Like, up to now, this still doesn't make any sense. And I've been having a lot of patience with it. But I guess we'll see on Saturday how that all plays out. But I think there's a lot of things where it's like if you just have patience for like a week, or two weeks, a month, just have patience to see like, can this, can we see the full vision of this? Are we able to zoom out enough to just see where they're going? Like if you're following your GPS and you're zoomed in so close that you can just see like a few hundred feet in front of you,

It's going to make your drive a little confusing. If you can just pinch that map a little bit, zoom it out, oh, we're driving down this road because it leads to that road over there. I think the GPS analogy works quite well here. So I thought that was really interesting. I think the overall takeaway from the Paul Heyman interview, for me at least, was just how open he was. When I first posted that he was coming on the show,

a lot of people were worried that he was just going to be in character the whole time. And that really wasn't the case at all. Like maybe a few small moments here and there. But the interview's like two hours and eight minutes. And almost all of it is just him telling fascinating stories. But I think the biggest thing that really stood out to me is his attention to detail and how much he cares. Like when he was talking about all of the details, for the tribal chief.

All of the things that you see now that make sense. They're all the little things. Like when he was telling the story about how Roman Raines would always reach for the microphone, or would never reach for the microphone, but would request the microphone with his right hand. And Paul Heyman was always on the left side of Roman Reigns.

So Paul Haman would have to reach across Roman Reigns to pass him the microphone. And he's always doing a very trepidatious and he's like passing off the microphone and then bringing his hand back so carefully to not brush up against the tribal chief because the role of the tribal chief here is like you piss him off off with your head. And that's kind of the way that Paul Heyman played this. That's why like he's always looking at Roman Raines like, yes, my tribal chief. Yes, my tribal chief. I thought that that little detail added so much to it. I also think just like the way he was

breaking down like if Roman Reigns is going to come back, Vince McMahon was pushing for Roman Raines to still be the big dog. And we just talked before about the reaction to the big dog. The big dog. Remember when Michael Cole would say that every time his music would hit? Roman Raines pushed for this to be a completely new character. It had to like be completely different from what he was doing before. But the original idea from Vince McMahon was going to be it's the big dog and his advocate, Paul Heyman. And Paul Heyman's saying, well, I can't be his advocate. I was Brock Lezor's advocate. I got to be something completely different. And Roman Raines needs to be something completely different. The tribal chief and his wise man is

what they came up with. And I don't have to tell you how good the bloodline was, especially like 2021, 2021, 2022, 2023, and the 2024, like, just when you thought that things were done, They found a new way. Boom, Sammy Zane is in this. Oh, my goodness. How's this going to go? There's the wonderful moment with Solo Sacoa and Paul Heyman. And he's like asking him to acknowledge him.

There's been so many great moments. But I think it's the attention to detail. Paul Heyman told me a story off camera that we'll include it if we ever get a part two. If I would ever be lucky enough to sit down with him again for another interview. he told a story about how I'm sure you noticed it, how his hair was gray when Roman Reins wasn't around. And he said that he was trying to do whatever he could to show that he just,

he was falling apart without Roman Reins. That without his tribal chief, he was just a lesser version of himself. So he said that it wasn't that he wasn't dying his hair. he told me he actually bought this like wash in stuff that you put in your hair that takes the dye out. He's like, what can I do to make myself look as aged as I possibly can to look as bad as I possibly can? So he didn't tan. He washed all the dye out of his hair so his hair was gray.

He wasn't sleeping well. All of these things so that when Roman Raines did return, his hair was black. He was getting better sleep. He had a tan. He instantly looked 10 years younger. And I thought it's those little details. And it's not just with Roman Raines. It's all of those details throughout his career.

And that's why Paul Heyman has such a brilliant mind for wrestling. That's the thing, I think, that stood out for me the most. And I think the other part of that was he has such a brilliant mind for wrestling. That's like a universal thought as a wrestling fan. appreciate, yeah, Paul Heyman thinks about wrestling in a different way. And it was interesting for him to say that he wouldn't want the job that Triple H has, that he feels Triple H is the only one suited to have that job. And we pointed it out, but it's a tough position. That Triple H is in because you get all the praise when things are going well. You get all the criticism when things

I've been saying for a while that All-In, Wembley Stadium, they've been looking for a way to have Will Osprey in that main event. And what a crowning moment it would be for Will Ospre to win his very first AEW World Championship in his home country at Wembley Stadium.

So yes, absolutely. And when you look at how things are setting up at Forbidden Door this weekend, the Owen Cup Owen Hart Cup finals, of course the winner of the Owen Hart Cup gets a title shot at all in. we've got Will Osprey versus Swir of Strickland. What an amazing match that's going to be. But I think Will Osprey for sure wins that. Also crazy to think that he hasn't been world champion yet. And I know he was out with a neck injury,

but Will Osprey is back and firing on all cylinders. I think Will Osprey versus MJF is going to be an absolutely amazing. main event at all in. Yeah, that's exactly, exactly what we're headed for. Andrew wrote this in on Chris Vanfleet.com. Hey, Chris, long time listener from Scotland, first time questioner. WWE has always had international tours, but more of these are beginning to feature more televised shows and PLEs. The crowds have been incredible. Shout out to the French crowds. I wanted to know if you've ever been to an international WWE event. and where was it? Or if you had the chance to take in a show anywhere in the world,

where would it be and why? Much love and keep up the great work. So like I said, I was at Raw in London on Monday. I was also at Smackdown in London in January. Shout out to the O2 Arena where Raw was on Monday. That might be the best arena I've ever been in. And there's something so unique Like here in the U.S. and also in Canada, when you're going to these arenas, like they're typically set up for basketball slash hockey. So like you've got the floor and then they like put the chairs on the floor, like the individual chairs. Like sometimes the chairs you take home if you're sitting in the first few rows. When you're at a stadium or an arena like this that's set up for the most part for concerts, number one, the first thing that's, that I noticed is you don't have seats going all the way around. There's like an area for a stage

kind of at the front. The other thing I noticed was the seats that we were sitting on, I was fortunate enough to sit on the floor. The seats are like built in. They're like stadium seats, but they're on the floor, like seats that like fold. And I was like, oh, wow, I've never sat on the floor in seats like these before. It's not that'd be interesting to point out. The crowd was very hot. I had a absolute blast there. If I could go to a show anywhere,

boy, it'd be tough to pass up the opportunity to go to like backlash in Puerto Rico. That crowd was crazy. Or it would be tough to pass up, going to see a show in France. I mean, there's a lot of great crowds out there, but when I think of that AJ Stiles entrance, he is fun of he is fun of it.

The camera's shaking, getting goosebumps talking about it right now. That's the kind of stuff I love. How can you not be romantic about pro wrestling? So I think that would be it. And we've talked a lot in the past about like why international crowds just seem to hit different. And I think it just comes down to

the events just don't happen there as often. Like when you live in a major city, especially in the U.S., when you live in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, et cetera, you have the benefit of going to two or three or four WWE shows in a year. You have the ability to go to two or three or four AW shows, a handful of maybe New Japan shows. TNA might come to your town.

And I think that when it, like, I'm not saying that those fans aren't intense or hardcore or having a great time, but what I'm saying is when you have all of that bottled up emotion as a wrestling fan, and you could only let it out for that one show

that happens to come to your city or your country, yeah, you kind of go a little crazy. Or you, And you also realize, oh my gosh, backlash is coming here. We can't miss it. When will the next WWE event be? I don't know.

Whereas when you live in a major market in the United States, you go, ah, I don't need to go to this one. They'll be back again next year. They'll be back again in a few months. AZ to the rescue on Instagram says, would you rather, we love a good would you rather, would you rather travel back in time to watch your favorite match live in person

or old grainy footage of prime Brett Hart versus TNA AJ styles. What a question. Also, you're toying with my emotions here because I love a good time travel question. question. I would love to own a DeLorean one day, maybe one with a working flux capacitor. Would I rather travel back in time to see my favorite match live in person, which would for me be Rock Hogan, Russell Mani 18, go back and relive that live. And I'm guessing I'm reliving that live

as this version of myself, not the 18-year-old version of myself who went to Russellmania 18. or watch old grainy footage of Prime Brett Hart versus TNA A.J. Stiles. I got to go with Prime Brett Hart versus TNA A.J. Stiles. Because, and I'll tell you why, even if it's old grainy footage that I have to watch, it means that however many hundreds or thousands of people that got to see that match live, got to experience that match live. That is truly one of the biggest, dream matches we never got in wrestling. So if I can watch old grainy footage of it

and then from that watch just old grainy clips of it when I want to, just like huge moments, I'm not a selfish man. I'm going to go with that. Because the other one and I really only benefits me. I get to go back and watch that match live in person. But this footage of Prime Brett Hart versus TNA, styles. We all get to relive that and re-wage. Not relive it, but we all get to re-watch that

we want. And the people that were there got to be there live for it. I will say, I have a regret about going to WrestleMania 18. And it's not what you think. But this is 2002, March 17th, 2002. I'll never forget it. I took a disposable camera. I was sitting in the 16th row. disposable cameras don't have any sort of zoom. I stumbled across these photos when I was at my parents' house like a year or two ago. And they're all awful. Like they're so bad. Like you can barely tell who's in the ring.

And I think my only regret is like, I should have a slightly better camera. Like I'll always have the memories. And I probably only took 14 photos. My other huge regret is I went with two of my best friends at the time, Greg Cusack and Trevor Smalls. We didn't take a photo together. So I went to WrestleMania 18.

I have the ticket stub. I have these terrible photos of a lot of the back of people's heads and arms in the air. But we don't have a photo of us three. Like even if it was just us three like standing in the crowd, you don't need to see the ring in the background. like just standing there. That's one of my biggest regrets. So maybe that would weigh into my whole story here.

Of like maybe I'd want to go back to watch my favorite match live. Although if we're following like back to the future rules here, I have to like make sure I don't run into the old version of myself, right? We're getting silly. Krusty Cam on Spotify says CBV. Did you see that Jason Statham? Was it raw? Feels like they must have been listening to your episode with Dan and Will.

I was thinking the exact same thing. He was like, so if you're watching Raw and you're looking at the ring, I was to the right of the ring with my good friend Alex Hunt, who helps do some phenomenal research for these interviews. He also transcribes the interviews and puts them up on Chrisfanfully.com. So if you're ever looking to like see, oh, what exactly did that? person say in the interview. Alex does a wonderful job of transcribing it. Jason Statham was on like the diagonal other side. So like he was seated like by the ramp. So if you're looking again at

the ring on TV, he was by the ramp on the left hand side. And as soon as I saw him featured on TV, as soon as he got like that crowd shot, I went, Dan Soder predicted this when we had that ridiculously silly episode with Dan Soder and Will Sassau. They were talking about the idea of like celebrities and wrestling. And Dan Soder was like, if they're going to do it, they got to do it right. Like they got to have Jason Statham there promoting the beekeeper too. Well, I've got a little baykeeper sacred for you. Boy. Like six out of ten Jason Statham impression. But I'm just saying, Dan Soder completely called this. I mean, not at all,

but it was just so funny to see he threw that out into the universe like a month ago. And here we are, that it came right back together. It's just fascinating. Just so interesting to see that. So I don't think anybody was,

I don't think they actually tie together, but it was interesting seeing in the comments on that Jason Statham video where people were like, Dan Soder predicted this. I've got a little bit of a big heap is sacred. Boy, I'm Jason Stitham. James Norberto sent this in on Chris Vanfleet.com.

Great interview with the formerly known as Paul E. Dangerously. It led me to thinking, who would you put on your Mount Rushmore of all-time great minds for the business? I'd go at Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman. Dusty Rhodes, and here's where I struggle, Eric Bischoff, I guess, because he beat Vince McMahon for 83 weeks while others folded. What do you say? Hard to argue against Paul Heyman. Hard to argue against Dusty Roads.

And it's amazing that you're still feeling Dusty Roads fingerprints all over the current roster right now. You hear so many people talking about like, I got a Dusty Roads. Rhodes gave me my gimmick. Like people that were coming up through FCW, so we're talking like 2010ish, like early 2010s. Dusty Rhodes was like helping people dial this stuff in, helping them dial in their character work and especially their promo work. Brilliant mind for the business. You've got to put Vince McMahon on there. Without Vince McMahon Jr., by the way, buying out his dad, taking

WWE, WWF at the time and creating it into this like global brand we're not sitting here talking about wrestling right now. You've got to give credit where credits do. That feels like Will Saso impersonating Jesse Ventura.

Got to give credit where credit is due. But Vince McMahon made wrestling what it is today. From Hulkogan in the 80s, Hulkomania, into the 90s, into the attitude era. It's Vince McMahon.

And there were, especially if you look with the benefit of hindsight now, there was a lot of very not good booking, especially in like 2019, for example, almost as a whole for that whole year. But without Vince, wrestling is not what it is now. at all. And for the fourth spot, I think you can't talk about great minds in wrestling without

talking about Jim Cornett. His wrestling IQ is off the charts, and he has this incredible understanding of psychology. Whether you agree with him today or not, when you look back, he had like an exceptional match layout and long-term booking instincts. And if you disagree with his modern opinions, I understand that. But if you think about like classic wrestling, it's Jim Cornett. And also like I think when we're talking about like Jim Cornett decades ago, great talent evaluator too. I'm putting Jim Cornett on there. Paterson's also someone, if I'm going to give an honorable mention, invented or at least refine the Royal Rumble, responsible for producing

some of WWE's biggest matches. And I think just like what doesn't get talked about a lot with Paterson, but his colleagues will keep his praise on him. He was really good at like understanding pacing and like great finishes too. Michael Hayes. gets a lot of credit too for being a great finish guy. Like, what's the finish going to be? Talk to Michael Hayes. He'll figure it out. You raise a great point with Eric Bischoff.

He changed the industry forever. And I think that something Eric Bischoff doesn't get enough credit for, but he deserves so much of it is he revolutionized live television production. When WCW knew that they had to go live every single week, because W.W.E was live, tape, live, tape, live tape. he was so good at live TV. And of course, the NWO, of course, like you pointed out,

beat WVE in the ratings for 83 straight weeks. And the first promoter that was willing to like take a shot and talk Ted Turner into spending the money to compete with W.E. on a national level. I think that Eric Bischoff and his influence on television wrestling, it's like still felt to this day, but that's a really interesting question and so hard to narrow it down to just four.

Mark Alexander on Facebook says, what would you say is the biggest missed opportunity in wrestling? Person or place or angle, the answers could be endless from each of us. So you're saying, Mark, who's the biggest fumble in wrestling? There's a few. come to mind here.

But the way Cesarro was booked in WWE, wildly athletic, could have a great match with anybody you put him in the ring with, this incredible intensity. Paul Heyman talked about it. John Cina said after working a match with Cizaro, man, that guy's so good. Like, I could main event of WrestleMania with that guy. I don't think you can get a higher compliment than that. That seems to be the type of compliment that you should get and then just run with. I think that Cesarro, if he had the benefit of some stronger booking, man, my goodness,

could have been so good. I'd say the same thing about John Morrison. John Morrison has the look, he has the talent, he has the ability to put on a great match with anybody as well. I think that John Morrison could have been a great world champion. I get that he was the ECW champion, but even in the interview that he did on the show a few months ago here, he said like,

I was pretty clear that it was the third title and was not treated as a world title. John Morrison, I think, could have been something so much bigger. And I'll give you another one here that I don't think it's talked about enough. Damien Sandow. Give Damien Sandow the ability to cash in money in the bank

and win. For Damien Sandow to go out there, cash in, he was doing such great character work. He was hilarious. And he cashes in on, John Sina and loses, it's like, well, all of his momentum now is gone. Like, come on. And the stuff he did with Ms.

So great. There was really no payoff there. Like, that should have been a WrestleMania match. Damien Sandow versus Damien Mizdao. Like such good, or I messed that up. Damien Mizdao versus the Miz. It was such good stuff. And Sandow was just like kind of creating that, like figuring this out.

when Ms. is taking bumps in the ring, he's taking bumps on the outside. Like such a brilliant creative mind. Still doing great stuff in the NWA. But I think that those are a few off the top of my head that you're just like, how? How? Jonathan S emailed this one in on chrisfamily.com. It's titled CVV. Yeah. Danhausen winning the next money in the bank so he can finally get human monies. I'm calling it now. I love the show. Keep up the great work. So you're calling Danhausen to win money in the bank. Here's what I think. I don't think Danhausen needs a title like ever. If he wins one, great. Sure, but he is so over that Danhausen doesn't even need to be fighting for it.

championship. Danhausen is just so entertaining with all the segments he's doing. When he does go out to the ring, you know that he can work. But I don't think that Danhausen needs a championship. The thing that I always love about a well-executed money in the bank run is when the person wins it and it's just constantly in the back of your mind. It's just hanging there in the back of your mind of like, well, you've got this match this weekend. Like look at like, let's just create. Let's just create a, the situation of a WrestleMania match or whatever,

a SummerSlam match, whatever happens, but it's not going to be a SummerSlam match because Money in the Banks in October. I guess it could be SummerSlam next year.

But let's just say it's Barack Lesnar, or let's just say it's Obafemi versus Roman Reigns. If for some reason this was happening next year, this is a bad example.

But come along with me on this example. And this is the beautiful thing about AskCTV, and we're just hanging out, chatting, hit record, and boom, go for an hour. But there's always that idea of like, well, it's going to be a great match. I would think that, for example,

Roman Raines would win this, but you never know, because the money in the bank briefcase is always there. And I think that's got to be somebody who's right there on the cusp, about to be in the main event picture, but maybe they've dipped their toe in it a little bit,

but this is their chance to like cash in and become a world champion or WWE champion. I think, and we've got a lot of time to figure this out. Right, money in the bank is happening in October this year, the latest money in the bank they've ever done, October 10th. So we're three and a half months away. My pick right now is Brom Breaker. And that idea that like at any point in time, Bronbreaker's music could hit, spear someone, one, two, three, boom. Brom Breaker's the champion.

I know we've got a lot of time to figure this out, very early Money in the Bank prediction. Who's going to be missed money in the bank? My early pick there, Chelsea Green. Chelsea, holding the briefcase would be so much fun. Like it's so hard not to root for Chelsea Green. It'd be amazing to see what she does with it, to see what her custom version of the briefcase looks like. I know we've got a lot of time and anything could happen between now and October 10th.

But give me Chelsea Green, give me Brombreaker. And I love where you're going with this idea of Danhausen, but he's already so over. He doesn't need that at all. sin.con 2002 on Instagram says, who's your upcoming big guest who's going to be joining you on the show? So again, as I pointed out earlier,

I was talking about big guests being a literal big guest, like a tall big, like tall guest, or a big guest like big guest, like Big E. That is quite literal. But then there's figuratively like, oh man, that's a big get. It's a big one.

So I'll tell you, I'll tell you that, so when I put out big interview on the way, on that day, I had recorded an interview with someone who is literally big and also someone who has never done

a podcast in English before. Yes, the Great Collie. I sat down with the Great Collie for over an hour. It's an interview you'll see in two weeks. And I can't wait for you guys to hear this. July 7th. He's a lot funnier than you would ever expect.

He told some great stories, some really good stuff in there. He's also full of tattoos now. Have you seen any recent photos of the great colleague? He's a neck tattoo. His tattoos all up both arms. Also, I think that people don't realize how famous he is in Indies, like wildly famous in Indy.

He was telling stories about like how he has to travel with security there. He is, I believe, the fourth most followed WWE superstar of all time on Instagram. Instagram. It's the Rock by a mile. Then it's John Sina. Then it's Logan Paul. Those two actually might be reversed. Maybe it's Logan. I'm just doing this off the top of my head. And then it's the great Holly. 11.8 million followers. Yeah. What about Roman Raines CVV? Roman Raines has 11.3 million followers. What about Cody Rhodes, CVV? Cody Rhodes has 2.6 million followers.

What about Nikki Bella? Nikki Bella has 10.1 million. It's always so interesting when you state a fact and people are like, what about so and so? My favorite response, and I leave this in the comments on occasion. It always makes

me laugh. I always say a quick Google search may surprise you. Like in the time that it took for you to write that comment, you could have typed that exact same thing into Google and went, oh, well, I was wrong about that. Would you look at that? Instead, you type in the comment and it just looks silly. But that's a big interview, quite literally.

He's such a big, like, presence. He's a big human. But it's also big in the fact that he's never done. a full-length podcast interview. He's done some short interviews. His English is way better than you'd expect, but that's one I can't wait for you guys to hear. So that is on Tuesday, July 7th,

But some really good stuff.

Toddy White on Facebook says, if you could own one piece of ring-worn memorabilia from any legendary wrestler, what would it be and who would it be from? Man, that's a good one. If I could own just one piece of ring-worn memorabilia, you know what I would go with? I think I've got to give you several answers on this,

but the one that immediately pops into my head, is I would want the winged eagle, like the actual ring worn winged eagle. There's obviously a few different versions of that championship, but if I could get the championship that was held by, I mean, who knows if all of these people held that one specific title, but could you imagine if you're getting that title that was held by Andre the Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Yoko Zuna,

Rick Flair, Diesel, Steve Austin, which I don't think would be the same championship, but I think people forget. At WrestleMania 14, he won the Winged Eagle. Undertaker, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Sean Michaels, Brett Hart. That's it for me. Obviously, that piece of ringworm memorabilia is being held by WWE. and I'm sure it's under lock and key somewhere, but man, how cool would that be?

If we're talking about actual, like, ring-worn gear and not like an iconic championship, I would go with a hat and robe from The Undertaker, hat and coat from The Undertaker, specifically from WrestleMania 25, the Sean Michaels match. I just think, you know how much I love that match.

about as close to a perfect match as you can get so good, iconic. The Undertaker and his entrance are iconic. That would be just amazing to have. If we're talking about a piece of history, how cool would it be to have Andre Singlet from WrestleMania 3? Again, I know that one is in the WWE warehouse, but that'd be great. I always think about this, though.

But if you had, like, a piece of history like that, like, if you had, I don't know, a Rick Flair robe or someone's boots, like Ultimate Warrior's boots, I'm just making this up, like, I feel like that should be on display. Like, not just on display in your man cave. And I'm not saying, like, certainly not saying anything. against that. I would welcome the opportunity to have a piece that's that cool. But I'd want everyone to see it. Like, I feel like I'd be touring this around. I feel like I would be just like

creating it around like every local indie show or every convention. It'd just be like, hey, yeah, you know what this is? Uh-huh. That's right. Yeah, it's Rick Flair's Robe from WrestleMania, whatever. I'd just think that'd be so fascinating. Did you see this thing? I shared it on Facebook and Instagram a few weeks ago, about a month ago, where there was a guy claiming to be selling these ring-worn Randy Orton trunks from the SummerSlam when he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and became the youngest world champion at 24.

And he was selling them for $50,000. He was claiming that they were ringworn. And then Randy Orton was like, oh, those are really cool. But they're not mine. Mine are in a box in the attic. Like he calls this guy out. And it was like, yeah, those are cool trunks. But yeah, I have the actual trunks.

I thought that was so funny. I screenshot it and I shared it. And everyone's like, first of all, if Randy Orton's ringworn trunks from becoming the youngest ever world champion were available. They probably wouldn't just be like thrown up on eBay for a buy-it now. But I feel like this would be much, it'd be part of a much bigger auction on like golden or heritage auctions or something like that. But just the fact that Randy Orton's like, hey, cool story, bro.

But those aren't legit. And then all these people started messaging the guy. And I think he must have taken them down eventually. But actually, I'm going to look right now. Did he take these down or not? All right. He took, he took that one specific pair, those like those orange trunks down. But the same guy, snarky moose is the username, still has one, two, three ring worn, quote unquote, 100% authentic.

Randy Orton ringworn wrestling trunks. Yeah. I'm going to guess that they are neither authentic nor ring worn. They are autographed by Randy Orton. Randy did like admit. He's like, oh, yeah, I sign these at a meet and Greek. Like someone got like replicas made. Oh, no, they are still on here.

You are an absolute idiot. I don't know how those are still up there. When the guy himself is saying, nope, they're not real. I just figured that just, when we're talking about ring worn stuff, they just made me think about that. Also, $50,000 for these fake trunks.
