Chris.
Oh, yes, welcome back to another one here on Insight.
I'm CBV, Chris Van Fleet.
Thank you for being here.
I know there's a lot of wrestling podcasts out there,
a lot of podcasts in general.
So I appreciate you for being here.
And thank you for making Insight,
one of the top wrestling podcasts on the planet.
And if you're listening right now
and you haven't hit that follow button yet,
please take a moment today.
Maybe take that moment right now
to hit follow on Apple Podcast.
podcast, Spotify, or wherever you happen to be listening to this right now. The reason I say it on almost
every single episode is because it's seriously the most important thing that you could do,
aside from actually listen to the show. But it just, it really helps the show to continue to grow.
And it's such an easy small thing for you to do, just to hit that follow button wherever you're
listening. And a lot of you have been here since episode one, when we started taking the YouTube
versions of these interviews and putting them online as an audio version in these podcasts. Some of you
have come around in the last handful of months. And either way, I appreciate you. You guys are so awesome.
And it's because of you that we're able to do this right now, that I'm able to sit here and talk
into this microphone, and that I'm also able to travel around and talk to some of the biggest
wrestling stars and some of just the biggest stars, period.
on the planet. So thank you for that. And if it's your first time here on an Ask CVV episode,
welcome. These are the episodes where you turn the tables on me. Usually I'm the one asking the
questions. Here it's you asking your burning questions of me about wrestling or content
creation, movies, sometimes pizza or chicken wings because, oh, baby, I love me some pizza
and some chicken wings. And this is a lot of you. And this is,
is Ask CVV number 27, the Mike Trout edition, right? Mike Trout. Where's number 27 for the Anaheim Angels?
And the Anaheim Angels are like 12 minutes. They play like 12 minutes from where I live.
And it's so funny. I don't always name these episodes, but I love sports. So every once in a while,
like number 23, that was the Michael Jordan edition. Number 24, that was the Ken Griffey Jr.
edition. And of course, you know, lots of other people with 23 or 24, but just whatever pops
it in my head. Number 25, I was like, oh, man, that's the Mark McGuire episode. That's the
Sammy Sosa episode. And then someone commented on Spotify. And if you listen on Spotify, you see that
Q&A section, please leave a comment on there. I think it's always fun to see those. But someone with their
glasses very firmly pushing them up their nose, they said, actually, Chris, Sammy Sosa famously wore
number 21. And this is the thing.
I think so funny about the internet is like, people are so quick to like point out,
oh, man, look, this is when you're, huh, I'm showing you that you are wrong and I am in fact
correct.
Well, actually, Sammy Sosa wore 25 for the Chicago White Sox.
Yes, he wore 21 for the Chicago Cubs, but saying that he wore 25 was not incorrect person
who I won't even name, who left the comment on Spotify, I just think it's so funny.
People are so quick to be like, oh, actually, I'm right and you're wrong.
Well, I think we're both right here.
So this is Ask CVV 27, the Mike Trout edition.
It can be the number of whoever wears that number.
It can be the addition for that person too.
But thank you for being here.
We've been putting out these episodes now in general, three times a week.
A new interview on Tuesday, a new interview on Thursday, and then the Ask CVV episodes
on Friday.
And we've been doing them every Friday now for about a month.
And I feel like we should keep them going.
I mean, you're here right now.
You're listening to this.
I love doing these.
I love being able to hang out with you one on one like this and just talk a little wrestling
and just bounce our ideas off of each other, make some bold predictions about things
that may not come true.
Actually, on Ask CDD number 18, you said that this thing was going to happen and it didn't.
Well, yeah, things change.
That's the fun about pro wrestling.
The fun thing about pro wrestling is making predictions about things that are going to happen
next week or next month, next year.
I'm going to make a bunch of predictions on this episode that may not come true.
But that's why I always say, like, as we sit here right now and we're recording this,
it's just, that's the fun thing about pro wrestling.
So with the amount of questions we've been getting from you guys for these Ask CVV episodes,
I think it feels like we should do these every single week.
So that is the plan right now.
We will continue to do the Ask CVV episodes every single week, as long as you keep showing up every single week.
So make sure to hit follow so you don't miss out on anything that we have coming up.
Let's get into this now.
Let's start with Green 171 on Instagram.
Chris, who wins the women's World Heavyweight Championship on Monday?
What an unfortunate situation this last Monday, where Ria Ripley had to relinquish the title.
And now they're going to crown a new champion this Monday on Raw.
So if you didn't catch it, she sprained her AC joint the previous Monday and the AC joints,
the joint in your shoulder.
She did that in that backstage little scuffle that happened with Liv Morgan.
And she's going to be out of action what they're saying about three to four months.
So if we're being optimistic about this, that lines things up pretty perfectly to come back for
SummerSlam.
So if I'm going to make a prediction here as to who will be.
comes the women's world heavyweight champion on Monday, it's got to be Becky Lynch.
Like Becky Lynch was so, so close to beating Ria Ripley at WrestleMania 40.
I just feel like it seems like Becky Lynch holding the championship until Ria comes back
in a few months and then they can have a match at SummerSlam.
That to me, storyline-wise, makes the most sense.
Sure, you could make a real case for Naya Jacks, who's just an absolute force.
you could make a real case for Liv Morgan, who is red hot with her popularity.
And she is the one who did injure Ria Ripley.
So there'd be a storyline there for when she comes back.
But I just feel like with all of the momentum that Becky Lynch has, you know, coming off of that bestselling book, coming off of the episode that we had yesterday on Insight with Chris Van Vlee, coming off the, you know, the kind of momentum that she has from that.
No, no, seriously.
Just coming off of everything that she has right now going on,
she's one of the biggest stars in WWE,
I just feel like you give it to Becky Lynch.
So that be my prediction.
I think that this could go two or three different ways,
but I would be surprised if it's not Becky Lynch.
And if it's not Becky Lynch,
who wins the championship on Monday,
boy, it'll be really interesting to see where that goes
and to see if, in fact, the rumors are true.
that Becky and Seth are going to take some time off
because it sure didn't sound like it
from what Becky was saying,
but I guess we shall see.
Football season may be over,
but the action on the floor is heating up.

This one's from Peter Pan, the username PVA on Instagram.
They call this the Polovec era.
But with all the branding on the ring and around the ring, the announcer's calling segments
brought to you by men's warehouse, Roman getting Nike sneakers and Seamus wearing the first
ever Venom branded WWE ring shorts.
This is turning into the sponsorship era.
I'm not mad at them, but it's getting to be a little bit annoying.
Well, I think that this is just the progression of how sports and entertainment are.
Product placement has been in movies and TV shows for decades.
Sponsorships have literally been on the field or around the field in all major pro sports
for years, decades, decades.
I mean, watch any baseball game and you're seeing ads, of course, on all the outfield walls.
You're seeing ads behind the batter and where the catcher is when they do that
shot of the pitcher throwing, this is not an uncommon thing. I think the only reason it stands out
right now is because you're just not used to it. If you're not a UFC fan, tune in to literally any
UFC pay-per-view and you will be blown away by how many ads there are, not just on the octagon,
but the fight clock is brought to you by this. And then a minute into the round, they'll say,
and don't forget this movie comes out on Friday and then a tagline from the movie. The tale of the tape is
brought to you by something. And if you are a UFC fan and you've been watching for years,
it's just second nature. You don't even think about it. It's just part of the show. And so I think
that we're going to get to that in WWE. It seems maybe jarring right now because they went from
zero to I was going to say 60, but I don't feel like they're at 60 yet. And they actually think
there's still a lot more ads to come, whether we like it or not. I think they've gone from like
zero to 40 pretty quickly. Instead of like one ad and then another ad and then another ad,
it was like they went from two or three segments or a handful of matches to it feels like every
single one. And again, I think it's just because you're not used to it. But this is reflective of
the time that we're in right now. You keep seeing the fiscal numbers. WWE is more profitable than
it's ever been. It's making more money and generating more revenue than it's ever been. This is all
good for us as wrestling fans. It allows the product to continue to grow. So I've got no problem
with this. I think you're going to see more ads, though. Like that prime bottle in the middle of the
ring for PLEs is going to soon, in my opinion, and my prediction, it's going to soon be joined
by other logos. Again, if we go back to UFC, it's the same parent company, right? TKO. It's something like
12 or 15 ads in the octagon. And then the corners have ads on them. And I know.
know that the at least one term buckle right right now has the prime logo on it that's really a very
valuable real estate and I think we're going to get to a point where there's more ads and we are
just going to become unaware of it anymore or just going to become numb to it it's like um sensory
adaptation you ever heard that term before sensory adaptation is like you're in the kitchen and you're
baking cookies and you start to realize oh wow these cookies in the oven they smell pretty good
And then after a few minutes, you don't even realize it anymore because sensory adaptation.
Your nose has just gotten used to that smell.
But then someone comes into the home and they go, oh, wow, it smells so good in here.
And you don't even realize it anymore, but they're smelling it fresh for the first time.
I feel like that's how it's going to be with these ads.
And that's how it is when you watch hockey or football or baseball or basketball or NASCAR or
Formula One or my favorite professional bass fishing. Like the list goes on and on and on where it's
just going to get to a point like bass fishing is a great example. And I know that you don't watch a lot of
bass fishing, if at all, and you didn't realize that it was a sport that plays on Fox Sports too.
But it's akin to NASCAR. So there was a point in time when the anglers had their boats and they
were just, they looked like the boats you would see at Bass Pro Shops. They just look like a normal
boat. Now they're all wrapped with dozens of sponsors on them. Maybe not dozens, but maybe a dozen
sponsors on them. Kind of like NASCAR, how all the cars have a sponsor or several sponsors on them.
Then you'd see someone on the professional bass trail or you'd see someone in NASCAR that doesn't
have any sponsors and they stand out because there's no sponsors. So I think it's going to get to a point
like that. This is still, this is still the Triple H era. And Becky Lynch, I think, said it best in our
interview yesterday. This era works so well because talent have a say and there seems to be a
direction for where things are going. So I think you could apply that to not just the storylines,
not just the matches, but I think you could apply that to the sponsorships and the ideas that
they work around that. So many of these sponsorships they have are not just one-off things.
like C4 Energy is now the official energy drink of WWE.
They sponsored an event here and there,
and now they're the official energy drinks.
So I think that in the same way that Triple H is approaching storylines and matches,
he's approaching the sponsorships too.
So again, I've said this many times,
and I will continue to say it.
In Triple H we trust, okay?
He really hasn't let us down with any sort of major storyline since he's had the pen,
if you will, the pencil since he's been booking the show since SummerSlam, 2022 in Nashville.
So I would say let's continue to give him the trust that we have given him for the last almost two years.
And let's just see where this goes.
Spencer Forgis.
Forgis, Forgis, Forgs.
On Facebook says,
hope you and your family are well. My question is, other than the actual
WrestleMania events on night one and night two, what was your favorite moment of the
weekend in Philly? I mean, that was a heck of a WrestleMania. That was pretty cool.
I think my favorite was, I was at RussellCon all day on Saturday, and I got to meet so
many of you guys and just chat about wrestling. And a lot of you had some very kind things to
say about the show. It's really cool hearing from people like, you're the reason that I
started a podcast. And it's like, well, I'm surely not the reason you started it. But if I could show you
that it's possible to do this thing and then you started a podcast or YouTube channel as a result of that,
man, that is awesome. I think that was the highlight for me. That was really cool. Being able to spend
some time at Russell Con and say hello to so many people. That was it. Because so much of content
creating is you're just doing it alone. Like, I'm sitting in a room right now, talking into a
microphone. I know you're on the other side of this, but I can't see you. I don't know how many of
you are there, but I know you're there. Same thing with the camera when you're recording an interview.
It's like me and the person and then sometimes someone operating the camera. Sometimes I've
set up the cameras and hoped for the best. It's nice to know there's people on the other side
of that. So that, I think that was my favorite. That was a really,
That was just a great day.
Like to start the day at Russell Con and then grabbed a bite of food, that was a really,
really busy week.
I was there Wednesday to Monday.
It was a really busy week.
But we had a little bit of time Saturday afternoon to grab some food with a bunch of
my close friends who were in town.
And that was, I think it was just the Saturday in general.
And that was, yeah, that was a really, really awesome, awesome day.
So I hope that whenever the next Russell Con is, I would have.
It's next year, wherever WrestleMania is officially announced. I look forward to seeing some more of you guys there.
And I keep talking about it, but yes, we are going to do a live show, SummerSlam in Cleveland.
We don't have everything figured out yet. We've still also got three and a half months until then.
But as soon as I get the information, I'm going to let you know who the guest is. I'm going to let you know where and when this is and how you can buy tickets.
So I look forward to seeing you guys there.
Cleveland is my American hometown, and I can't wait to be back, and I can't wait to show
it off to you guys.
If you've never been to Cleveland before, what an awesome city.
I can't wait to be there with you.
So that announcement will be coming soon.
I don't know when.
I still have to lock in a guest.
If I'm going to take you behind the curtain here, which I love to do, break the fourth wall.
we had a guest lined up and they ended up getting another booking that same day and it fell through.
So that was going to be such a good one too.
So I'm still working on figuring out who the guest is, but I'll let you guys know.
You'll be the first ones to know.
Legendary John T. on Instagram says,
were you there when the L.A. Knight and A.J. Stiles brawl happened during the media day of Russellmania 40.
Yeah, I was there.
I was there and it caught us all by surprise.
So the way they set up the media room was it's a big ballroom inside a hotel in downtown
Philly.
There was, I don't know, 100 media members, maybe more, 150.
There was a lot.
It was a very full room.
And the way they set it up was there were four backgrounds on one side and four backgrounds
on the other side.
They were all in the middle.
So you had four that were in the middle and they were facing the right side of the room.
and then four that were in the middle behind those other ones that were facing the left side of the room.
So you had, what is it four?
Maybe it was five.
I think it was four.
So you had these eight stations, but they were all four back to back to back.
So I was actually in line to talk to Kevin Owens.
And it was like towards the end of the first part of the media day.
So they broke it up.
Media day was nine to 12.
They broke it up into two hour and a half sessions.
So you had one group of superstars come in for the first 90 minutes and then another group of superstars to come in
for the other 90 minutes.
So I'm in line for Kevin Owens.
I had already interviewed AJ Styles.
It's the interview that you saw my YouTube channel.
He's awesome.
I'm certainly hoping that we can have a longer interview at some point soon.
So I'm three, like three backdrops away, if you will, and on the other side.
So I just heard like some yelling.
And I was like, what is like what's going on over there?
and then everybody.
I wasn't even trying to say it like L.A. night.
Everybody.
Everybody who was in the room that was in line for an interview
just like circled around this.
It was almost like a fight in a schoolyard.
Everyone just circled around this
and just watched it happen.
And it went on for a long time.
And if you're thinking here, like,
so AJ Stiles was wrapping up, probably his last interview.
L.A. Night was coming in for his first interview.
And if you think about it,
this just in K-Fabe. And this wasn't, I don't think this was done intentionally, but
L.A. Knight's spot was right next to A.J. Stiles spot. So they were 10 feet away from each other.
If you think about this in K-Fabe, why would L.A. Knight just sit there and allow A.J. Stiles,
who's, you know, he went and invaded his home and got arrested on his property. Why would
he just allow him to sit there? So, like, in K-Fabe, of course he wants to beat the crap out of him
and nothing's going to stand in his way. And nothing did stand in his way.
So I love that.
That was like a really old school move of like, you know, the next time I see you, I'm going to beat your ass.
And quite literally it happened.
Like the next time I see you happens to be at this media event, that's fine.
And L.A. and I was like just getting ready to sit down for an interview.
AJ was in the middle of one.
And if you've seen the video, they went at it for like two or three minutes.
And I don't think any of this was planned.
because there was no one there like that was going to jump in and break it up like there wasn't any
security there i think there were some people from nxte in the room next door that happened to
come over and ended up breaking them apart but yeah i don't i don't think this was planned
just the way that it all went down and i love that i i just love the idea here of i i was
literally arrested last week. And now I'm like for beating this man up. And now I'm going to be seated
next to him. Nah, nah. No. No. No. So yes, I was there. And it caught us all off guard. And then
everybody who was in line to do an interview. The line was all shaken up. I was actually second in line
to do the Kevin Owen's interview. And then he ended up, his time was over. So I was like standing in line
there for another probably 10 minutes.
Like I'm like, I'm second in line.
So I don't know who's going to be in the spot that Kevin Owens was in.
And yeah, I didn't get the Kevin Owens interview.
You still haven't interviewed him.
I would love to.
My fellow Canadian.
But I stood there for another like 10 minutes.
And I said to Jamil, the guy who is my, my good friend, Jamil, who was operating
the camera.
I said, let's just stay.
Like, let's just wait it out and see who shows up here.
Because almost everybody else had showed up in the room, except for
the one spot that we were at, ended up being Jade Cargo.
And I was second in line.
The guy who was first in line in front of me, he wasn't like ready to go.
He still needed to turn some equipment on because there was such a lag between Kevin
Owen's leaving and Jade showing up.
So they were like, hey, Chris, are you ready?
I'm like, yep, let's do it.
And we went in and we ended up getting the first interview with her.
So what a crazy morning.
What a crazy day in general.
There was so many, like just so much going on there.
but it was pretty wild that that wasn't just a brawl that happened in one spot too.
Like they probably covered, I don't know, 50, 60 feet as they just kind of continued to brawl around the room.
Wild.
Joseph Kincaid on Twitter says, hey, CVV, I love the show.
What do you think of the smaller stages that WWE's been using for Raw on Smackdown?
I'm not sure how I feel about them.
I personally enjoy them.
if there's an opportunity to fit more fans into the building.
And WWE's been selling out a lot lately.
I think it's something like up until this last week,
it was like 15 of their last shows had been sold out in these pretty big arenas
in these fairly major markets.
A lot of them, you know, cute markets like Brooklyn.
So I love it.
If them making a smaller stage to fit an extra 1,000 people in there,
2,000 people or whatever it happens to be, I don't know the exact numbers. I love that.
Because you know this if you've been to a live wrestling show. Nothing beats seeing it in person.
So if you have the opportunity to go and see it in person and instead of fitting,
I'm making up numbers here, but instead of fitting 16,000 people into an arena, you can fit
16-8. Well, that's 800 more people that get to experience that. And I don't think the entrance is
the focus here. Like what the real focus of any wrestling show is what happens in the ring. So whether the
entrances are huge or whether the entrances are scaled down, WWE does such a great job with the
aesthetic of it that I don't really think it matters. And for them to do raw after mania in Philly,
you knew it was going to sell out super quick. So I think that that was a brilliant decision that
they made to just try to fit as many fans in there as possible and as and then that they safely
can. So I'm all for it. And I love that most of these PLEs have been in big stadiums.
We may even get to a point at some point where all of the PLEs are in stadiums. That'd be pretty
cool. That would also speak to just where we're at with the popularity of pro wrestling right now.
So it's also, it also speaks to the popularity of where pro wrestling is at right now, where
the next PLE that's happening in America is SummerSlam.
So it was WrestleMania 40, April, beginning of April.
And then the next one won't be till August 3rd.
It's pretty cool.
It's pretty cool that that's like the era that we're in right now for,
just pro wrestling in general.
Like people are hungry for this.
And it's exciting.
And for those people who are asking, well, where are the next bunch?
Well, you've got backlash in France.
You've got, let me do the whole clash of the castles, obviously in Scotland, money
in the bank, in Toronto.
Pretty, pretty cool that this is the era that we're in right now.
It's the global era in a lot of ways.
So, yeah, king and queen of the ring in Saudi.
Arabia. Wow. Yeah. And then it's not till August 3rd. And then the next one after that,
Bash in Berlin is in Berlin, Germany. It really is the global era. We can definitely call this
the Triple H era, the Polovec era. But we're in an era right now where things are happening
on a global scale. And it's exciting to see. So if you're asking me, and you are, because
this is Ask CVV. The more fans you can put in the arena, the better. I'm all here for it.
top rope DDT 09 on Instagram.
By the way, that sounds painful.
A pop rope DDT.
Ouch.
I love the show and I'm curious,
why haven't you updated the intro
to Samantha Irvin announcing your name?
Well, I love the Justin Roberts intro,
and that's the intro we've had since episode number one.
Justin Roberts doing that amazing intro that he did for me
in the summer of 2019.
That was when we recorded that interview.
Since then, I have also got intros from Lillian Garcia, from Tony Chimble, from Mike Rome, from Greg Hamilton, and yes, from Samantha Irvin.
I really missed an opportunity there to get Tony Chimmel to do it for me.
Oh, that would have been legendary.
So I've got a lot to choose from.
And I think you might be right.
With everything that's been happening, I do have that epic intro from.
Samantha Irvin, maybe we got a little surprise for episode number 600 and beyond. I don't know.
I mean, we pulled out the new intro from Downstate, which people seem to really enjoy.
I really love it. It gets me pumped up. Inside with Chris Van Fleet.
Stuck at my head all the time. Now it's stuck in your head. There you go.
So maybe for episode number 600, maybe we see a little surprise.
I don't know.
Tony Smith on Facebook says,
I saw the photo you posted on Instagram
of The Rock at WrestleMania.
You asked if people thought
this was the best shape
that the Rock's ever been in
in his career.
But I want to hear what you think.
That specific photo that I posted
and that was shared from his trainer,
Dave Rienzi, I believe it's
how you pronounce his last name.
That photo there where the Rock
has like very defined abs
definitely looks like the best shape that he's ever been in.
And that is saying a lot.
Because, like, just look at the rock, like, outside of wrestling.
Because obviously he's been in great wrestling shape the last bunch of times we've seen him in.
And just great physical shape is what I'm talking about here.
But you look at his movies like Painting Game.
He looked incredible.
And Hercules.
He looked great.
Fast and Furious.
All of them.
He looked fantastic.
Black Adam, I think, might have been his best conditioning.
for some of those shirtless scenes.
But when you think about the work that the Rock put in,
to look the way that he did on night one and night two of WrestleMania,
at almost 52 years old,
he would have been a month away from his 52nd birthday on May 2nd.
And the only reason that I know that off the top of my head is because that's my dad's birthday.
DVV's birthday is on May 2nd.
He was here first.
Dirk Van Fleet, by the way, not Dad Van Fleet.
Although Dad Van Fleet does work, DVV.
I guess I technically am also DVV then, Dad Van Fleet.
But for him to be in that kind of shape at almost 52 is so incredibly impressive.
And it's not just the fact that he's in that shape at 51 and 11 months, but he's doing that
with all of the other things he has going on in his personal and professional life.
He's also a father to three girls.
he also has his hand in so many of the companies that he's doing things with.
Obviously, Zoa and Project Rock with Under Armour and Seven Bucks production with all the movies.
There's not a single movie that he's in right now that his production company isn't producing.
And he's traveling all around.
Like I saw an interview with him recently where he said that he had a ring in, and he was flying people in to help him with his ring work in Hawaii, in Southern California.
in Georgia and also in Florida.
So he's doing this in four parts of the country.
That's just the wrestling training.
That's not his diet or nutrition
or any of the workouts that he's doing.
There's so much that went into this
that we're only seeing just a tiny little bit of this.
We're just scratching the surface
of the work that he put in.
And it's just so frustrating
when people try to
take away from the hard work
that he put in. They're like, well, if I had that kind of money to purchase steroids, I'd look like that too.
And look, if you ever consistently lifted weights in your life, you'd know that that's just not true at all.
Like, that's just blatantly false. You don't just magically take steroids and look like that. That's not how it works.
You put in an insane amount of super hard work. And if there are.
many PEDs being taken, that helps like over and above.
Like, that's like the cherry on top.
But there seems to be this narrative from people who seemingly, well, very clearly do not
know a lot about the way that the human body works in resistance training.
Like, they seem to think that this is just like a magic potion.
Like, like, it's that scene in Captain America where Steve Rogers goes in a skinny dude
comes out and he's like, the Captain America that we know now.
That's not how it works.
It might make you a few percent better.
But when you're talking about like being an elite athlete, that little one or two or
three percent or whatever the percentage happens to be ends up making a big difference
because you're competing with people who are already the best of the best at what they
do.
So I just never understand that idea of like trying to negate someone's hard work or just
completely looking past the hard work and just going, oh, yeah, it's because of this one thing.
That's not how it works at all.
And I've never, obviously, taken anything in my life, never taken any sort of steroids or
no TRT, nothing like that at all.
And I know if you saw the photos of the shape that I got in for my birthday last year,
when I wanted to get in the best shape of my life for my 40th birthday, I did 13,000,
weeks of a very specific dialed-in diet and a very specific dialed-in workout to look the way
that I looked. And I know all the sacrifices I made and all the dedication that I put in.
Now, imagine doing that over the course of your entire career and then just dialing that in even
more. So yeah, that was the best shape that we've ever seen the rock in. And the scary thing
about it is he probably, with the work ethic that he has, probably has the ability to look even
better. And that's scary. That is scary. Today is the day 117 on Instagram says, what do you
think of Chad Gables' heel turn? I thought it was brilliant. I mean, everything about it. He's so
frustrated that he can't beat Sammy again, right? He lost to Sammy for the opportunity to
face Gunther at WrestleMania for the Intercontinental Championship.
Now he has a chance to win the Intercontinental Championship on Raw against Sam,
and he can't do it.
And it's in Sammy's hometown.
Sammy is kissing his wife and Chad Gable out of nowhere with the heel turn.
I thought it was fantastic.
Now, the big question here is, what does the rest of Alpha Academy do?
Do they follow him?
Do they turn a heel as well?
or do they just kind of leave him and let him do his own thing?
And that'll actually be really interesting to see, you know, over the next little while here,
drinking a little F3 energy there.
Because I think with what they were doing with Maxine Dupree, it really seems like they're making
her out to be a huge baby face, especially with Candace Larray, turning heel here.
So I can't see Maxine joining Chad Gable in any sort of heel turn here.
So it'll be really interesting.
And I've seen a lot of people making reference to Kurt Angle and TN.A.
in 2006, yeah, I feel like we have the potential here to have that kind of run with Chad Gable.
And mark my words here. I know I love making predictions, you know, because you never know in
wrestling if they're going to be correct or not. But I'm going to make a prediction here that
Chad Gable is the next intercontinental champion. I don't know when it happens, but it just feels like
they've put way too much into this story for there to not be a payoff. So, and it's funny.
because the payoff before was going to be like,
this guy works so hard,
this guy needs to win a championship,
and he keeps coming up short.
I don't know what the payoff is now.
If he's a bad guy and he wins,
people are still going to love it.
But I don't know what the payoff's going to be.
Like the whole story is getting turned on its head.
I think it's awesome.
I love it.
Mason Jameson on Instagram says,
where is WrestleMania going to be next year, CBV?
I keep hearing it's Minneapolis,
but then I see these stories,
about Las Vegas, which one do you think it is? So I'm going to go with this. If it's not in Las Vegas
next year for WrestleMania 41, it's there for WrestleMania 42. It seems to me,
and with everything that I heard in Philly, it seems to me like Minneapolis is kind of like
the unofficial announcement. So I'm going to go with Minneapolis. I will see you there.
Chad Gables from Minneapolis. Maybe there's a story there. I don't know. We'll see what happens.
there. But I think it's Minneapolis next year. Then it's Las Vegas. I know I've been saying that I think
it's going to be in London at some point. And I don't think that you have John Cena go out there,
have money in the bank and do what he did and cut that promo, rah, rah, WrestleMania in London,
if it's not going to happen at some point. I just be really, I just don't know how they're going to
do that with the start time. Because right now when they do the start time of 7 p.m. East Coast,
in 4 p.m. Pacific time, it still makes sense in the U.S.
And I know that despite the fact that they've done a lot of PLEs overseas with start times
like two in the morning. And I get, I understand that if you live in the UK,
WrestleMania was at two in the morning, or one in the morning. I get that. I understand that.
But the standard has been for so long that WrestleMania starts at seven or eight o'clock
East Coast time. So if they do it in,
the UK and it starts at 8 p.m. I guess that makes sense. It starts at 8 there and it's 3 o'clock
on the East Coast and it's noon Pacific time. I think that makes sense. It's just like it becomes
a daytime event. But that'll be the question. That's probably something that's been brought up a lot
with WWE is the idea of WrestleMania has always been a Saturday night, Sunday night thing. If in the U.S.
afternoon thing does it still work? Obviously, the answer is yes. But I think that's something that
they've probably been taking into consideration. You can't do it where it starts on US time. You can't
have it start at midnight or one o'clock in the morning in the UK because then you'll be running
way too late into the night and then curfews and all the fines that come along with that,
that's not going to happen. If it does happen, when it happens, because I think it's a matter of,
there will be a WrestleMania that starts with a four as the first number that happens.
I'm thinking in London.
And then maybe there's another one at some point.
I think that there'll be one, maybe two international WrestleMania is in the next 10 years.
And I know that's a bold statement because we have not had an international
WrestleMania since WrestleMania 18.
And there's only been two international WrestleMania's and they've only been in one city,
my hometown, Toronto.
So maybe they're back in Toronto.
But that I don't, I feel like it's going to be London before it's anywhere else.
So I'm going to guess Minneapolis, Vegas, London.
I have absolutely no intel to tell me this might be correct.
This is just my gut feeling.
That's just what I'm saying.
Here's what I'm from Instagram.
Ma Mansurian on Instagram says,
minimum amount of expense to start a content creation channel.
Well, the minimum is zero.
Like, you don't need to spend a single dime.
You don't need to spend a single penny to have a content creation channel, whether that's a podcast, whether that's a YouTube channel, whether that's posting on Instagram or TikTok or Twitter or Facebook. You don't need to spend anything. Use the phone that you have right now, the phone that you're listening to this on right now. Use the camera on there. Use the microphone on there and start. Just start. You don't need to invest in expensive gear to start.
You don't need to invest in expensive microphones or cameras.
You don't need to hire a graphic designer.
Start with what you have right now and just start.
Like, zero, zero dollars.
I filmed my first 10, 12 years.
Yeah, my first 12 years, maybe more on my YouTube channel, was all filmed with my iPhone.
So the minimum amount is $0, 100%.
And as you start to get better and as you start to grow a following and as you start to
make some money off of it, put that money aside.
And that goes towards buying the gear if you really do want to upgrade.
But you can, you shoot and record on your phone.
And then there's free editing software that you can download that works totally fine
for what you need it for.
That's where you should start.
Curtis Mills on Facebook says,
who are your top five in-ring workers from Canada?
If we're talking in-ring, like technical style,
obviously Brett Hart is on there.
Chris Benoit, if we're talking in-ring, technical.
Owen Hart, so good.
Man, how good would he be if we had been able to see
the full scope of his career?
What a shame.
It's crazy to think this is 25 years this year since Over the Edge 1999.
So Brett Owen, Chris Benoit, three easy ones.
I'm going to go with Edge and also Chris Jericho.
And I don't know why there's all this disrespect for Chris Jericho now.
Like his entire career and his ability to reinvent himself at every stage of his career,
everywhere he's been, whether it's WWE or WCW or New Japan or AEW, it's on another level.
So there's my top five there.
Top five Canadian.
I know there's lots of other Canadians, but if we're talking just in-ring stuff, yeah, there's my five there.
Yisys Trapido.
Is that your real name?
Yisest Trapido?
Who do you think are the next three?
future megastars of WWE and AEW.
If I'm picking just three, I think that's tough.
But off the top of my head here,
MJF is for sure a megastar.
And I think that he's going to switch it into another gear
when we see his return in AEW.
And then who knows what's going to happen
with the rest of his career.
But he is very young and he is supremely talented.
And if he continues to wrestle for the rest of his career,
we've got another 15 to 20 years,
if not more, of MJF doing his thing.
So I'm excited to see what he has in store for us when he comes back.
Jade Cargill, just the way that she looks,
she's just so imposing.
She, the way that she can command the ring is,
is so good. And I think that we're just starting to see what she's capable of. Then I think
Austin Theory, like, man, that guy's, I've known, I've known Austin Theory for over five years. We worked
a few different independent shows for Blueprint Pro Wrestling in Deerfield Beach, Florida. I was a ring
announcer. And I met that guy at 19 and he's just like so jacked and he's gotten even more
jacked over the years. He has everything. He ticks every single box. And I think it's just a matter
of time that he's going to turn on Grayson Waller. We're going to get something fantastic out of that.
And then I think we're in for a great run with him. And I'll give you one more, Tiffany Stratton.
Tiffany Stratton is so athletic. And she does things in the ring like her moonsault,
prettiest moonsault ever, which I did an interview with her. You'll be seeing in the next, I think
it's like a week or two. We have it scheduled. She says, if you know Christopher Daniel's move,
Best Moonsault Ever, he said that was because of The Simpsons and comic book guy. Best Moonsault
ever. So she did like a twist on that. So she's kind of paying homage to Best Moonsault Ever,
the BME. She does the PME, prettiest moonsault ever. She makes it look so easy, like just
absolutely so easy. And that's because of her background as a gymnast. But she also, just like Austin
theory, well, just like everybody listed on this list, she ticks all the boxes. So I think that we are,
Tiffy Time is going to be here for a long time. And I feel like we're going to be talking about Tiffany
Stratten for like many years to come. She's only 24 years old. Her birthday's coming up. I just
just looked her up here. May 1st. Only the coolest people are born in May like me and the Rock.
And Maxine Dupree, we share a birthday. And,
my dad and my daughter, only the coolest people.
Only the coolest people are born in May.
I'm Israel.
I'm Israel underscore on Instagram.
What would it take to bring back Chris Sharp?
My backyard wrestling alter ego, Chris Sharp.
I should grab some sunglasses right now as I talk like Chris Sharp and
take a big gulp of this water here.
I think it would take a time machine to bring back Chris Sharp.
I haven't, I mean, I've taken a bump relatively recently.
It took a bump like the last time I was in a ring last year.
It took a few bumps, ran the ropes a few times.
Always feels good to do that.
Yes, for, you know, quick backstory.
Yeah, I was a backyard wrestler when I was 16, 17, 18, trained when I was 20 in Toronto
at the squared circle.
But it just, you know, life happened.
And I was at a crossroads in my life and I decided to choose my degree, my school degree,
school school, as I call it. Wrestling school or school school school, I was at a crossroads and I
chose school school. I still like to take a bump. I still like to run the ropes. I still,
you know, I'll take a chop every, every now and then. But I don't, I'm going to be 41 in a month.
A month today, actually, May 19th. Ooh, don't say that date to Kane. But I just, nobody will.
wants to see me in the ring. And I'm not using age as an excuse at all. There's nothing that I can't
do at 41, that I couldn't do at 31, that I couldn't do at 21. And I feel so incredibly blessed to be
able to say that as I knock on what. If you have a dog, I hope they're not freaking out now at the
knocking sound. Oh, there's someone in the door. But I just, it's not something I want. And if I'm
going to go into the ring and have a five or a 10 or a 15 minute match. I want it to be great,
especially if it's going to be the only match that I ever have. I want it to be like perfect.
And I know that that's not possible. I know that the perfect wrestling match is not attainable.
And I just think for that reason, I just don't, I don't think I want to do it. I'm still okay with
continuing to train and continuing to lift weights and condition and be in the best shape
of my life like The Rock.
Back to that question that we were talking about.
But I just don't, I don't, I don't think it's for me.
Go, go check out the vintage Chris Sharp clips that I've posted on social media and we
can live vicariously through those clips.
I threw a pretty good, pretty mean swan time bomb.
Did a pretty mean tornado DDT.
Had a pretty quick snap suplex.
I did a very, very, very big.
dangerous looking. That's incredible, which is just incredible's finisher. It's like twisting
tombstone. Very dangerous looking. I can't believe my friends let me do that to them. It's like,
yeah, yeah, don't trust me. I can do this. So I think we'll just live vicariously through those
old clips. Pat Taylor, and instead of an O for Taylor, you used a zero on Instagram. Loudest pop
you've been in the crowd for. There's been several, but I think the biggest, loudest,
Most surprising one was WrestleMania 33 when the Hardee's came out.
And what was especially cool about that for me was I had just interviewed both of them together,
like less than 24 hours before that.
I interviewed them at a Ring of Honor show in Lakeland, Florida.
And they were just kind of like, oh, you know, we're not done here.
I asked some thing about the Hall of Fame.
And they were like, no, we've still got, like, we've still got more gas in the tank, basically.
And then less than 24 hours later, huge surprise.
Like, nobody knew about it.
Matt Hardy told a great story in the episode that we had just a few weeks ago when he was on the show.
That was, that was it.
Because it was so loud.
And then it was a bunch of people just, like, looking at each other, like, can you believe it?
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, wow.
Like, it was just one of those, like, pandemonium moments.
I'm sure that the moment when CM Punk came back at Survivor Series would have surpassed.
that, but I've told the story before. I was in the building, but I wasn't in the, like,
arena, in the area when it happened. We got pulled right after the one, two, three of that
main event to go to the press area for the press conference. And we missed it. And we ended up just
all of us that were sitting in the press room. We just ended up watching it on the monitor. So
that probably would have been the loudest because of the way that the Allstate Arena is set up.
There's something about that the ceiling's a little bit lower, that the roof is made of,
the ceiling's made of wood.
And it like, I don't know, bounces the sound back down.
There was just something early on when I was sitting in that arena that I'm like,
this is loud.
Like, it's full, right?
I'm actually going to Google what the Allstate Arena capacity is.
Like, it was full, obviously, it was sold out.
But I was like, what's the like 18,500?
So I'm sure it was right there at 18,000.
500, if not more. It was, it was just, there's something about that ceiling that made it feel
so loud. So that might have been it, although there were way more people at WrestleMania 33.
There's 18,500. Actually, let's just look. Survivor Series, 2023 capacity. So, so there was 17,
138 people at Survivor Series, but my goodness, it sounded like twice as many people.
And then let's see, WrestleMania 33.
WrestleMania 33 had 64,900 at Camping World Stadium.
But there's no roof there.
So the sound just kind of goes into the sky and goes away.
But I would say that moment when the Hardy's returned was huge.
And then on the flip side, real quick, the quietest I've ever been in, WrestleMania
30, after the street.
was broken and they didn't play the music for like, they didn't play Brock Leather's music for,
I don't know how long it was, but it felt like an eternity. That was the longest silence ever.
Like that was the quietest. You could hear a pin drop. Everyone's just kind of looking at each other.
Like, did, wait, was that? Was that supposed to happen? Wait, did he? He actually, he won? No,
Wait, what? And then we're all kind of looking around and they did a brilliant job of producing that.
like just pure pandemonium for the crowd.
And then they hit rock Ledz's music.
And then they leave Undertaker in the ring.
And then they put up the graphic on the big tron with the one instead of the zero.
That was the quietest for sure.
Jess underscore Ocle on Instagram says,
do you think Cody's reign as champ will be a short one or a long rain?
I think that shorter long is so subjective now because Roman Rain is holding it for almost four years.
anything, I guess, feels short by comparison to that.
So, no, it's not going to be four years.
If I have to make a guess right now, I don't think Cody is the champion for the entire
rest of the year.
Like, I don't think he holds it for eight more months.
And I think we're going to get back to a point where the title changes hands two or
three times a year.
And it, you know, is really meaningful when that does happen.
but I think that his reign will be like four or five months.
Like it's probably not Summer Slam, but maybe it's Survivor Series where he drops the belt.
So that would mean we'd have three champions this year.
We'd have Roman, we'd have Cody and whoever the next person is.
Now you're going to be like, well, who's the next person?
Make a guess so he can tell you when you're wrong in seven months.
Randy Orton just feels like he can turn heel so quickly.
there's something there's something there with Randy and Cody.
I feel like Randy could be the next champion.
I feel like Randy could be the one to beat,
to be Cody,
but we'll see.
Anything could happen here.
Nobody thought Rio was going to get injured and have to relinquish the championship.
But, you know, here we are.
Seth Rollins,
I feel like that's a story as well.
So,
yeah,
I think it will be in much shorter reign.
I think all of the title.
rains have been really long. Like what an era we're living in right now where all of these
rains have like really meant something. And I love that. This one was emailed in from
Kyler Indy 17. Hey Chris, awesome show. I've been listening since episode 300. Well, thank you, sir.
That's almost 300 episodes that you've listened to. Always a great listen. Also, great seeing you
in indie. My question is, seeing that Big E said he may never be cleared, what is his legacy?
Is it multi-time tag champ, hammer-fisting A.J. Lee in the chest? Or just being an all-around good
dude. As a big, meaty man myself, he's a good guy. Keep up the great work. I mean, if Big E. can't
wrestle ever again, I think we should all be okay with that because I'm sure you saw the post that he put
on Twitter last week. Yes, I keep calling it Twitter. It's tough for me to call it X because what do you,
do you put a post on X? Because you put it, you used to put a tweet on Twitter. Do you put a post on X?
Do you put a post on X? Do you X? But you saw the post that he made last week that he said, like,
he's just happy. He's really happy with where he's at. And I love that because there's so many people,
not just in wrestling, but in life in general, we're not happy. So if he can be happy,
and at peace with where he's at in his life, in his career, that right there may in fact be his legacy.
But when you just look at everything that he's done up to this point, he's insanely entertaining,
he's so athletic, and he's crazy strong.
Like that video during the John Sina behind the scenes documentary where he's throwing up that
crazy bench press was it like 585 pounds raw or something like that i should look it up so well it was
actually uh i don't know why this has been the voice that i've been saying this whole time um let's see
575 i think it was 575 in that video for 4 i don't know big i'm looking at a youtube video right now
big e sets a bench press record well it doesn't matter what it doesn't matter what it doesn't
It really doesn't matter what it was.
But I think his legacy will be that every time you saw him on screen, whether he was having
a match, whether he was cutting a promo, or whether he was just dancing and jiving.
He was entertaining.
And he still is entertaining.
I love seeing him on the pre-show.
And I feel like he's just starting to come into his own in that realm of his career.
and much like Corey Graves.
Like Corey Graves as a wrestler was great.
What he's doing on commentary is fantastic.
It's on another level.
And I think that we have the potential to see that with Biggie as well.
But again, if Biggie's happy and it seems that he is supremely happy, we should be really happy for him.
And I am.
I'm super happy for him and everything that he has going on here.
So, yeah, immensely happy is the phrase.
he used. So you know what, Biggie? I'm immensely happy for you. And I look forward to having him
on the show at some point. Speaking of that, Xeron underscore 26 on Instagram says, when can we expect
an episode with Seth Rollins? Well, I've interviewed Seth before. I did an interview with him like 10
years ago. If you remember that, he had the yellow hair. He had the Money in the Bank briefcase.
I've interviewed him a few times, but it's been a long time. So I feel like we're close.
I mean, we just interviewed the man. We just had Becky Lynch on the show. So I feel like
it feels like a logical step to make this happen. I just need you guys to know that it is
most of the time not within my control. It's there's a whole bunch of other moving parts that go
on here. It's is that person available? Are they willing to do an interview? Are they cleared by
WWE to do it? There's a lot of moving parts. Are we are they in town at the same time that I'm in
town, am I able to fly to where they are?
Because I want to do them all in person.
I think you guys have been listening to the show long enough that you know that
a Zoom interview is never, it's never the same.
It's not the same.
I do the occasional one, like only if there's no other option.
But I would so much rather be able to sit down with that person, like just feel the
energy that's in the room with them.
So hopefully I would, let's hope before the end of the year we do a Seth
Rollins interview.
That would be awesome.
Oh, and here we are at the final question here.
Thank you guys so much for being with us on this one.
And if you have a question for Ask CVV number 28, send it out on social media using the hashtag AskCV or send me an email.
CVV at Chrisfanbleat.com.
This one is on Instagram from Crutal, 98.
K-R-U-T-U-L-98.
Hey, Chris, were you in the Mike Myers movie, The Love Guru?
Yes, yes, I was. What a good eye. I guess you were watching the movie that came out in 2008. I love that you were watching that recently and you happened to spot me in the green shirt in the background. I don't have any lines in this movie, but I'm in the background of quite a few scenes. So the story behind this was, this is 2007. The show that I was on in Vancouver on MTV to Canada. It was called 9.5.
The channel I was on was called Razor at that time.
And our show got canceled.
One big media company bought another big media company.
I was working for Chum at the time.
They got bought out by CTV.
And they told us, we're going to have a decision about your show within 30 days.
And we were like, oh, this is awesome.
We get to move into the CTV studios.
That's the decision they're going to give us.
And the CTV studio was so much better.
And it was in a better location, like right in downtown Vancouver.
and instead the decision and the news that we were given was that our show was going to be canceled
immediately. And I had picked up my entire life at that point. I'd moved from Ontario to Vancouver
and it was a 47-hour drive across Canada. I filled up my 1995, Robbins Egg Blue, Toyota Corolla,
and I had driven across the country and now one year later, I don't have a job. And I had to make a decision
pretty quickly. What do I do? I do. I had to do. I had to.
three days before my lease was going to be up for renewal in my apartment. And I had basically
decided in those three days, am I signing for another year here? Or am I giving my notice and leaving?
And I decided I would give my notice and I would pack things up, drive those 47 hours back home
and moved back in with my parents. And during that time, I was unemployed. I was unemployed for
seven months. And I made it my job during that time to find a job. So my job every day was
wake up, get on the computer, search every job site, send every email, really build my demo
reel, write different cover letters, just try to get noticed, try to get back on TV. And it was
tough. That time was filled with a lot of self-doubt. It was two and a half years into my television
career at that point. And I'm like, I was so fortunate to be able to do this. So fortunate to go
from being a local news reporter in Peterborough, Ontario to be on a national show and interviewing
some of the biggest musicians in the world and some of the biggest actors and did my first wrestling
interview with Bobby Lashley and now it was just all taken away from me. So I spent those seven months
going, oh, this is this still for me? Do I still have the ability to do this? And through all of that,
I would look on Craigslist. There'd be these little one-off jobs here and there. And I saw a casting for
Hollywood types to be in a party scene of a movie. And one of my best friends, Adam Booth,
was trying to be an actor in Toronto. And I sent it over to him. And he's like, oh, yeah,
I'll submit for this. And then a day or two later, he got accepted. He goes, you should submit
too. Like, you know, what are you doing these days? Like, you have the time to do it. And I was like,
sure. So I submitted it and I got into it. I had no idea where this was. It was a very vague
Craigslist posting. Yes, it was on Craigslist of all places. So you never know.
You know, was this legit?
Is it not legit?
Turned out it was very legit.
And it was initially, I think it was eight days to be an extra in this party scene, which is a pretty pivotal moment.
It's where the love guru meets Minimi's character and he's the manager of the or the coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It's very silly.
The movie is very silly in general.
Jessica Alba's in it and Justin Timberlake's in it.
And the cast is stacked.
There's so many great cameos in it.
It turned in, I think we were on the set for, I think, 12 days or something like that.
And they were a long day.
Some of these were like 14 hours, 16 hours.
And you're just in holding for most of it.
You're just in like an area with all the other background actors.
And you come out on set for maybe an hour or two and you pretend to talk in the background.
Then you go back to the holding area.
They reset the cameras.
And then you come back out.
I think I was paid $8 an hour.
Yeah, so you may see on social media, I post residual checks every once in a while,
and they're like 71 cents or like $3.
That's not from the love group.
That's not from any of the background work that I did.
When you're a background actor, you are paid a flat rate, and that's it.
And I was a non-union actor.
I was not part of the actor's union at that point.
So I got paid like the bare minimum.
I think it was $8 an hour.
I should look this up and like find those like sheets.
that were signed off on.
But I had no idea that, like, the cameras pointed towards you,
but you don't know if you're going to make the final cut.
You don't know if you're actually in the background or if it's just like, you know,
your sleeve that's going to be in the shot.
But if you watch the trailer, I'm in the, I'm in like a decent amount of the trailer.
Like, you can definitely recognize it's me.
I'm in three or four scenes in the movie.
It was cool.
It was a really cool experience.
And I had friends that I met on that set that I remained.
that I remained friends with for a long time.
And it was also a really cool thing to do when I didn't have a job at that point in time.
I was also an extra in a bunch of other things.
I'm an extra in a movie called Chloe with Liam Neeson and Amanda Seifred,
which you can see me in the trailer for that movie too.
That movie's on Netflix if you want to go check it out.
I was recently, not fairly, like three or four years ago,
I was an extra in a Tom Holland movie called Cherry.
There's a very quick scene where you can see me there.
and I played a news reporter in a bunch of movies where I actually have lines.
Like I'm actually like the guy delivering the news.
Like the character in the movie turns on the TV.
What are they even talking about?
And I turn on the TV and there I am setting up the plot for the movie.
I'm in a movie called The Bronze.
I'm in a movie called Criminal Activities with John Travolta.
I'm in a movie called Love Finds You in Sugar Creek.
I'm in a few scenes in that movie.
So if you are bored this weekend, go look up any of those.
movies and take a photo of your screen and tag me on Instagram or X and I'll be happy to
reshare it. It was all very fun. And I'd love to do some more stuff. I've auditioned for other
movies. Remember, remember draft day? The Cleveland Browns movie with Kevin Costner. I auditioned
to be a reporter in that movie. The scene ended up getting cut. I didn't get the job. But it was cool
to be like, I'm in Cleveland.
I was living in Cleveland at time.
Here I am a Cleveland reporter
auditioning to play a Cleveland reporter
in a movie.
Yeah, that was fun.
And who knows?
There may be other opportunities
around the corner at some point
to do more of these.
But those handful of ones that I did
were always so fun.
Like a lot of fun.
So yeah, I can't believe
you're watching The Love Guru.
not only, look, I only say that because it is, it is not a highly praised Mike Myers film.
Okay.
It is, Austin Powers, it is certainly not.
But not only the fact that you were watching it, but then you actually spotted me in it too.
That's so funny.
So thank you for all of these questions that you guys sent in for this Ask CVV number 27, Mike Trout edition.
If you have a question for the next one, send them in, and we'll leave you with this quote here.
and kind of it feels a lot like what Becky Lynch was saying in yesterday's episode.
And it's so powerful.
You're not bound by your past.
Just because you failed yesterday doesn't mean you'll fail today.
Just because this thing happened yesterday doesn't mean that this thing will happen today.
And three things that I'm grateful for today as we wrap up this episode.
Thank you guys for asking me what I'm grateful for as you're turning the tables here on me.
Grateful for my health.
grateful for my health as I sit here right now and grateful for the health of all of those that I love
grateful for our my family or our little girl who just keeps getting bigger every single day
Logan's birthday is next month her one like she turns one I feel like it wasn't that long ago
that I was telling you guys that we were going to have a baby and I was the rock was giving me
parenting advice that feels like it was just yesterday and here she is she's almost a year old
just so grateful for my family.
And I'm grateful for this.
Ask CVV when we did the very first one was just an idea in my mind of like,
there's a lot of really cool stuff happening in wrestling right now.
What have we chatted about it?
And thank you guys for continuing to show up for all 27 of these.
I mean, heck, all 592 of these podcast episodes that we've ever done.
And if you're fairly new to the show, I would just encourage you.
Go back and listen to some other interviews that we did, maybe a year ago or two or three years ago.
There's a lot of great stories in there and a ton of insight, pun intended, through hearing a lot of those stories.
So go back and check some of those out.
So grateful for you guys.
So there we go.
Have an amazing weekend.
Be great.
Be grateful.
We will see you on the next one for some more insight.
