Ladies and gentlemen, Chris Van Fleet!
Greetings and salutations, my friends.
Welcome back to another one here on Inside.
I'm CVV.
Chris Van Fleet, hope your week has been great.
Thank you for being a real one.
And for listening to an AskCV episode and for spending a little bit of your Friday with us.
And thank you for helping to make Insight the number one wrestling podcast on the planet.
I'm sure you've already done so, but I got to check. I got to make sure. Hit a tornado DDT on that
follow button wherever you're listening right now. And if you have a few extra seconds,
could you leave a rating on Spotify or a review on Apple Podcasts? Both of those help the show
so, so much. And the bigger the show gets, the bigger the guests can get. And speaking of that,
I think yesterday's episode with Ria Ripley is my favorite interview of the year so far.
She's just so real and hilarious.
Like so funny.
When she busted out that Southern accent out of nowhere, I was just, I was dying.
So if you haven't checked out the episode yet, give it a listen this weekend.
She deserves all of the success that she's having.
And it was great to be able to spend an hour or so with her.
Also, a huge thank you.
If you're listening to this right now, a huge thank you for being on this journey with me,
On Tuesday, the podcast officially turned six years old, which is crazy because on one hand,
it feels like we're just getting started.
On the other hand, I can remember back to June of 2019 and being like, you know what,
we should put the audio from these interviews from YouTube somewhere on a podcast feed
so people can listen while they're working or walking the dog or driving to work or whatever
it happens to be.
and here we are six years later and 777 episodes later.
So just thank you.
I appreciate you so, so much,
and I'm so grateful for you.
If you haven't been to an Insight Live yet,
we've got one coming up.
It's almost exactly a month away.
Insight Live is happening on Friday,
August 1st in New York City to kick off
SummerSlam weekend.
Tickets are selling fast.
So grab them now at CVVTX.com.
That's CVVT-I-X.com.
If you listen to or watched the interview with Ethan Page on Tuesday, you know exactly how much fun these live shows are.
And you won't want to miss this if you live in or around New York or New Jersey or if you're flying into town for SummerSlam.
We've got your Friday night covered.
Friday night, 5 p.m.
Come out to Insight Live and you'll still have plenty of time to get over to Smackdown or to, yeah, to get over to Smackdown as well.
So like, what a night.
CVV Live, Insight Live, followed by Smackdown,
followed by Saturdays day one of SummerSlam,
followed by Sunday, day two of SummerSlam.
My goodness, I can't wait for that.
So I can't wait to see you guys there in New York City for that one.
Welcome, my friends, to ask CVV number 89,
Mike Dickke, Alexander McGilney, and Steve Smith.

Speaking of Spotify, there were so many, yeah, comments on Spotify.
Thank you for letting me know you listen by just drop it in the comments.
Yeah.
this time, if you're listening on Spotify, just drop the word pizza in the comments.
I mean, it's Friday.
Friday for me, I've just always associated with pizza.
Pizza Friday.
Love it.
Drop the word pizza in the comments so that we know we're on the same page here.
I appreciate you.
Let's dive into Ask CVV number 89 with a question from Spotify, from private Krishna, who says,
yeah love the Ask CVV episodes you have really inspired me to focus on positives in life
and further I have started to inspire my friends and family to think positively I love that
my question for you is what was your opinion of John Sina's pipe bomb that is the talk of
the wrestling world this week a lot of people calling this the pipe bomb 2.0 and I think that
if you look back at John Sina's entire career, this is going to go down as one of his most memorable
promos ever. It's tough, right? Because we've got like real recency bias here since this just
happened this week. And it's hard to like be able to zoom out and like understand the full meaning
of this promo and the moment that it surrounds it. But like I think that when all the dust
settles in, especially at the end of the year when John Cena's retirement tour ends, but when all the
dust settles in a year or two or five, I think we'll be looking back on this as for sure a top three,
top five promo. I just think that it completely shifted the entire momentum of John Cena's
heel run. Because John Cena's really been challenging himself during this heel run. Like,
it started out as John Cena versus the fans. For the first,
many weeks of promos, it was John Sina taking out all this hint-up aggression for two decades,
just taking it out on the fans, like that he was in an abusive relationship, and he's finally
had the chance to speak his mind and let everyone know how upset he is with them.
Then with Cody Rhodes, we saw a little bit of like, all right, I'm not just mad at the fans.
I'm also mad at you for these reasons, and he laid it out.
What we saw here with this promo.
was John Sina taking the infamous pipe bomb promo from 14 years ago that CM Punk cut,
and he turned it on its head.
So it's funny when you really dissect this promo that John Sina cut on Smackdown,
when you really break it down,
a lot of the things that CM Punk was saying in 2011 about John Sina are now true about C.M. Punk.
like how interesting is that like c m punk is the voice of the voiceless and he's speaking out for all the fans
and john cina's pointing out dude you're a millionaire now like how can you relate to the fans when
you're a millionaire you're a corporate stooge now you're wearing suits for tk o like a lot of things he
pointed out are things that when you look at them now through the lens that we have of john cina like
making them evident, you're like, ah, he's actually speaking the truth here. Like, it actually
kind of reminds me that line that CM Punk was saying for a while, like, stop me when I'm telling
lies. Everything that John Cena said during this promo was completely truthful. And it's going to be
really interesting to see how this plays out going into this weekend with Night of Champions
and this match with CM Punk. I know they're saying that this is one last time. And if this is,
indeed one last time, man, we've got so much steam and so much fire and so much momentum going
into this. It truly feels like these are two people who don't, not even don't like each other,
don't even respect each other. And it's obviously like that's all just put on. Like I'm sure
there's a ton of mutual respect behind the scenes. But the way that both of them are allowing
this story to play out is just so beautifully done.
and I think that this is going to be the promo that we go back to at the end of the year where we go,
yeah, the heel run was okay, or maybe the heel run didn't have a lot going for it.
But man, when he put CM Punk through that table and then he got up on the turnbuckle
and he cut that pipe bomb promo, things shifted.
The wave to the camera, like when CM Punk did it, high Colt Cabana, that was a big thing 14 years ago.
Colt Cabana?
Why would they ever mention Colt Cabana in WW programming?
And that was the brilliance of it, breaking the fourth wall, shouting out his friend.
John Sina shouting out Nick Nemeth.
I'll say it for the one person who's listening that might not know, that's Dolph Ziegler,
Claudio Castanoli, of course, that's Sissarro, Matt Cardona, of course that's Zach Ryder.
I don't think he was just randomly shouting out the real names of those three people.
Like there's some history tied in there.
And it's tied back to a promo or I guess a press interview that CM Punk did before
WrestleMania 29, where he mentioned those three people by name and was talking about how much
better WrestleMania would be if those people were worked dead.
into it. And it's just really interesting how we've come back around on that. Of course,
WrestleMania 29 headlined by John Cena and the Rock. That was the once in a lifetime happening
again for the second time. So that those, and I think this is the, a very important thing to
remember with John Cena promos is that there are no wasted words. There are no wasted breaths.
everything that he's doing out there and everything that he's saying out there is being done
with such intent and such purpose. And I so very appreciate that here we are a week later
and we're able to look at this promo and dissect this promo and we're finding all these
deeper meanings within the things that he said. And I've been saying this all along,
but I kind of feel like that's just the John Sina heel run as a whole.
Like I think there's a lot of things that maybe we don't quite realize in the moment what's
happening.
But then if we have a week to digest it or if we have a week to allow it to play out,
we go, oh, that one makes sense there.
And John Sina did this interview with Collider this week.
And he was talking about, you know, we're pretty much of the halfway mark of the John
John Sina retirement tour, which is crazy. I think John Sina actually pointed it out. He's done
18 of 36 appearances. So we are at the exact halfway mark as far as the calendar goes. Like when July
1st rolls around, that's it. Like six months down, six months to go. But we're at the exact
halfway mark of the amount of appearances as well. And interesting to note, John Sina appeared at
Fanatics Fest. Had a brand new shirt at Fanatics Fest too. But that was kind of like a bonus
appearance that didn't count against the 36 appearances. I just thought that was a little
fun fact that not only did he appear there, but he also had like new merch there, new attire.
I thought that was cool. But in this interview with Collider, I'm going to read this quote to you
because I think it's very telling about like how maybe things aren't always as they seem.
But he says, quote, as we get close to the end of this thing, what dictates those pivots is the
audience. And I think the audience will begin to feel differently because now we are truly
coming to the end. So if you ever had a voice to use, if you ever wanted to say something,
I hate to steal my own cliche, but the time is now. I look forward to the road ahead because the audience
is going to dictate the direction we go. I think it's a wonderful time to be a fan. I think a lot of
different talent are able to capitalize on all we're doing, and I applaud the WWE for always being
able to think extended, but pivot on a dime in a moment as it happens. I think that's their
strongest suit. So interesting that John Cena's talking about how there's been some
pivots here. So things that have played out this year, maybe weren't the original plan.
Maybe weren't even the backup plan. But the pivot happened to get us to where we're at now.
And I find that to be really interesting. Also, like, Sina's saying, like, let your voice be heard.
Maybe he's talking about the our truth situation. I don't know. Like, if you look at where John
has had his matches right now. He hasn't had up to this point right now as we record this.
John Cena hasn't had any repeat opponents in 2025 except for our truth. And I just think that
our truth getting released and brought back in the same week and then, oh, by the way,
getting another match with John Cena, I don't think that one was in the cards. I don't think that
was planned out. I think that was the audience had their voice be heard. And I love it. I love
that. I love that we're still living in a time where they've got a script and they're following it
for the most part. But when the crowd gets so loud that you can't ignore them, it's nice to know that
your voice is still being heard. And that was the chance that we're at the arena. We want truth.
That was all of the noise that was happening on social media. And it's just good to know that if something
like this happens again or if there's a storyline that just doesn't make sense.
It's good to know that if enough people come together and enough people go, no, that was the wrong call.
It's good to know that WWE is not afraid to admit their mistake and write the wrong.
You guys know that when it comes to health and well-being, I'm always looking for an edge.
And that's why I've been taking mitopure for months now.
Because I want to be the healthiest version of myself for as long as possible.
Like, I want to be in my 90s and still going on hikes or like still playing with the grandkids,
or I guess at that point in time, it might be great grandkids.
Here's how this works.
Mitochondria is our cell's power generators.
They're a key influence in how we age.
But as the years past, mitochondrial efficiency starts to decline.
And it starts to represent this big gap between the quality of life we expect when we're older
and the one we actually experience.
One way to think about mitopure is like they're the little Pac-Men in your cells,
chomping up the damage mitochondria that make you feel old and tired,
and we're cycling it into new healthy ones.
For me, taking mitopure is really helped with recovering after a workout.
I start to feel myself getting stronger with more energy and experiencing less inflammation.
I think it's worth you checking out as well.
Timeline is offering 10% off your first order of mitopure.
Just go to Timeline.
com slash insight. That's timeline.com slash insight.
Adam John Keats on Facebook says, hey, CVV, real, real one here.
Well, thank you, Adam.
Thank you, AJK.
We lose out on Dom and Stiles, but we get Cross and Zane in its place.
Talk about a blessing in disguise.
Could this be the match of the night and the start of something more for carrying Cross?
Well, I'm bummed out that we're not getting AJ Styles versus.
is Dirty Dom. I truly felt that this had the potential to be Dom's best match ever. And that's just
what AJ Stiles does. Like, AJ Style is so, so good that he pulls the best out of his opponents.
But wishing Dirty Dom a speedy recovery, that is a legit injury. So wishing him a speedy recovery.
And Adam Pierce told Stiles, and this wasn't just in storyline, I feel like this is like an actual
thing as well. Adam Pierce said that AJ Stiles would be the first to get a title show.
shot at the Intercontinental title when Dom is healthy and when he's back. But man, speaking about
your voice being heard, clearly, WWE could not ignore all of the noise, all of the support
that Carrying Cross was getting. And yes, we are getting Carrying Cross versus Sammy Zane. And I got,
I'm elated about this. I'm pumped about this. Actually, a little surprise is happening as quickly as it is.
like I had said, if Sammy Zane drops out or loses in the King of the Ring tournament,
yeah, it seems like we're going to end up getting Sammy Zane versus Caring Cross.
I wasn't expecting it to happen in a PLE, but I love this.
And this has the potential to be just an unbelievable match.
And it has the potential to spark something up here with Caring Cross.
Like, I think that Caring Cross is probably hyper aware of all.
the eyeballs that are going to be on this, both from everybody backstage, but also from the fans as well.
I'm sure he understands that he's got to go out there and do his absolute best work, but that's
just, that's how he's built. I don't think a guy like carrying Cross is ever phoning it in.
And when you've got an opponent like Sammy Zane, it's so easy. Like Sammy Zane is so great to work
with. So I'm pumped about this. And I'm, I'm so glad that it's happening on a big stage like a
PLE.
Michael Jameson on Facebook says, hey, CVV, let's hear your picks for Knight of Champions.
Well, let's go down the card here for Knight of Champions.
And we'll start with the King of the Ring, tournament final.
We'll start with Randy Orton versus Cody Rhodes.
The odds at my bookie have Cody Rhodes is the favorite.
And of course, when you sign up at Mine Bookie and you use the code CVV, you'll get a very nice, very healthy 50
percent welcome bonus. So use that code CVV at my bookie.orgie.org. I am so intrigued by this
Randy Orton versus Cody Rhodes match because there's so much history here. Cody's very first
WWE match was against Randy. July 16th, 2007. And I think that this is the first match,
this match we're going to see here at Night of Champions. This is the first in, I think,
think a long feud that we're going to end up getting here. Because the last time that Randy Orton
and Cody Rhodes wrestled each other one on one was, are you ready for this? It was a match on raw in
September of 2013. Woo! Wow. So I think that we're going to, this is going to build up
up to quite a feud here. It's mentor versus mentee. It's this idea of like,
second generation versus second generation. We have so much in common, yet at the same time,
we're so different. You're a company guy. You know, you stayed with the company. I went out and
did my own thing, and I came back here, and I've really proved myself. There's a lot. There is a lot
going on here. And I love that there's something at stake here. This isn't just a rivalry. This isn't
just a match for the sake of a match.
This is, the winner of this becomes king of the ring.
And the winner of this gets that title shot at SummerSlam.
And I would have to think that when you're talking about names like Randy Orton and Cody
Rhodes, likely going up against John Sina.
I would have to think the winner of this gets John Sina.
So if we're talking about Randy Orton versus Cody Rhodes,
Randy Orton or Cody Rhodes versus John Sina, you're talking about the main event at
SummerSlam.
So there's a lot on the line here.
And I think that as this feud continues, and maybe it's not right now, I think we're planting
the seeds for it now, but I think in six-ish months or maybe by the time Russellmania rolls
around next year, this feud has the potential to be one of the best feuds, certainly of the
2020s, but maybe of the last decade or so.
Like there is just so much meat on the bone here for them to digest.
So if we look at this match here, I just don't see any situation where Cody Rhodes isn't winning this match, isn't getting that rematch against John Cena, which makes things so spicy, so interesting for SummerSlam.
But that's the way I see it going.
I think it's Cody Rhodes wins this match.
I think it starts to plant the seeds for a feud of Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton.
I would assume that at some point in this calendar year or at least some point in the next 12 months,
I would have to think Cody Rhodes is the WWE champion again.
I think that sets up for Randy versus Cody, Randy to win another championship.
I love all of this.
And I love that we're starting to see the pieces fall into place now for stuff that we're
going to be talking about in 2026.
Fantastic.
All right.
Oscar versus Jade Cargill, Queen of the Ring, getting that championship match at SummerSlam
The odds have Jade Cargo
as the winner here.
And I just honestly don't know here.
Like I think you can make a really strong case
for either one.
Oscar's been there, done it.
We know how incredibly talented
Oscar is.
We know that she can not only contend
for a world championship,
but she can be a great champion.
I love that.
Jade Cargill's the future.
Looks like a million bucks.
She ticks every single box.
But I think what you have to look at here,
is what's the potential matchup. So Jade Cargo, she's on SmackDown. So that would be Jade versus
Tiffany Stratt at SummerSlam. And then it's Oscar who's on Raw. Then you've got Oscar versus
E.O. Sky at SummerSlam if Oscar wins. And I think that if I'm just looking at this
objectively, if I'm just looking at what makes the best championship match at SummerSlam,
for me, I just think Oscar versus EOSCi is a better match.
That is obviously no disrespect at all to the very talented J. Cargo and to the very talented
Tiffany Stratton. I just think that styles make fights. They say that all the time in UFC,
and I love that phrase. I just think Oscar versus EO. Sky is a better match. So I'm actually
going to go against the odds here. I think it's going to be Oscar winning there, but I'm not
going to be upset if Jade Cargo wins this match because Jade's a future champion.
There's no question about that. Does it happen at SummerSlam? I don't know. Does it happen in
2025? Who knows? But I think that it'll be really interesting to see which way they go with this one.
And really, no one loses here. Jade or Oscar, either way, we're going to get ourselves a great
match at SummerSlam. John Sina versus CM Punk for the
undisputed, WWE championship. The odds favor John Sina. I'm going to have to agree with that.
I don't see John Sina losing the championship just yet. But I think what happens in this match
will have some implications for SummerSlam. Could there be a situation where this match ends and
Seth Rollins is just lingering? Could see that. Talk about this. I talk about this with Sam Roberts.
Sam Roberts is on the show on Tuesday.
And we do a deep dive into just like where we're at right now,
six months into the year with John Cena's heel turn,
John Cena's retirement tour,
Seth Rollins holding the money in the bank briefcase,
Naomi holding the money in the bank briefcase,
just a deep dive into what's going on right now,
like a state of the union, if you will, with WWE.
And Sam made a really good point.
He's like, I don't think that Seth cashes in
for the World Heavyweight Championship.
He's like, I think he's cashing in on the belt that John Cena has.
And I'm like, I think you make a really good point.
So it'll be interesting to see where this goes.
I think CM Punk's another person that when you have that conversation of like, who's the next
champion or who's one of the next champions?
It's going to be CM Punk.
Like, I think CM Punk has one or two more championship runs left in him forever.
I don't know, for however many years he has left in his career.
Does he have two more years left?
Does he have five more years left?
Does he have seven more years left?
I don't know.
It'll be interesting to see how many more years he has left.
But I think we're going to see a really interesting match that I think will start to set up
what we're going to see for even more of John Sina's retirement run here.
Ria Ripley versus Raquel Rodriguez in a street fight.
My bookie has Ria Ripley as.
a heavy favorite here. And I agree with this. And there's not a ton of story that leads into this,
but you've got two talented performers in there in Ria Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez. I'm interested
to see what happens with this and where it leads to. But I think that Ria Ripley has a lot
more to lose from this if she loses the match. I think that if she wins, she has a lot of momentum.
But if Raquel loses, I don't think it really affects her as much. So I'm going to go with
Ria Ripley on that one.
The United States championship match
and the match that I think is going to steal the show.
Jacob Fatu defending against Solo Sacoa,
a match we've been waiting a long time to see.
I hate you, Solo!
So good.
So good.
Jacob Fahtu is a slight favorite here,
and I really think that this one could go either way.
Jacob Fatu's U.S. title run has been very entertaining. He's, man, so athletic. A guy his size
doing the things that he does, it's amazing, amazing to see. But Solo Sacoa is the future.
And it's just going to be a matter of time before Solo Sacoa holds some sort of singles championship.
Maybe this is it. Like, I really think that this is one of those coin flip matches where both
guys have a ton of momentum here. If solo wins, the momentum continues. If solo loses, the momentum still
continues for him. So I can't wait to see. This is the match of the night. Got no question about that.
It's going to be amazing to see how this all plays out. But, man, if I have to, I got to pick someone.
I'm going to say Jacob retains. And this is one I'm totally okay being wrong with. But I'm going to
say Jacob Fatu retains, but we all win here because this match is going to be great.
Sammy Zane versus Carrying Cross, again, couldn't be happier that WWE is listening.
They understand that the fans are clamoring to see Carrying Cross, and we get them in a PLE.
I love it. Give Carrying Cross the win here. Give Carrying Cross something to work with.
allow this to go somewhere else.
Is this the first of many matches with Sammy Zane?
I'd love to see that.
Be amazing.
The odds have Sammy Zane as a slight favorite,
but man, I would love to see Caring Cross win.
And just because I'm going to go with my gut here,
I'm going to pick Caring Cross as the winner.
But again, couldn't be happier for Caring Cross.
And really interested to see how all of this ends up shaking out.
I talked about it last week, but King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring don't seem to carry the same amount of weight when it's like you win it at a PLE that's especially this year.
You're winning it at night of champions.
And then a month later, you're going to get this championship match at Summer Slam, which I love.
But then there's no talk of King of the Ring, no talk of Queen of the Ring.
And I just think that there's got to be a happy medium here.
Like there's got to be used you get the title shot and I love that but king of the ring and queen of the ring should mean something it shouldn't just be this like like it should still be like what it was when when we had wade barrett win it or when we had Xavier woods win it or king booka i just i don't know i want to i want to see more i want to see more out of it which actually leads us right into this one from nathan mackintyre on instagram how do you feel about
about four out of the six matches at night of champions being non-title matches.
Do you not think that it should have been called another PLE?
Nathan, I couldn't agree more with you.
This is not Knight of Champions.
This is random PLE that happens to be going down this Saturday.
I mean, if we're really being honest, this is king and queen of the ring.
Why is it not being called king and queen of the ring?
is it because Saudi Arabia got king and queen of the ring last year and they're trying to give them a different PLE this year?
Like that has to be the only reason, right?
Like that's it because this isn't Knight of Champions.
Night of Champions, traditionally speaking, is when all of the titles were on the line.
Or at least almost every match was for a title.
That's not what we're seeing here.
We've got the WWE Championship on the line and we've got the United States Championship on the line.
And then we've got a handful of, well, we've got King and Queen of the Ring,
and then we've got grudge matches, street fight?
I'm not saying that there's a problem with this card.
I'm not saying that at all.
I'm just saying, this isn't Knight of Champions.
So why are we pretending that it is?
Call it anything else.
Come up with a new name for the PLE.
But this is not Night of Champions.
This is, I mean, let's call a spade of,
spade here. This is King and Queen of the Ring 2025. All right. But let's call it Night of Champions.
Sure. Stuart Thompson on Facebook says after Cody and Jay put on such a great match on Raw,
do you think that there's more room for baby face versus baby face matches rather than just the
standard wrestling formula of heel versus face matches? I feel that a friendly rivalry over a title
somewhere in the future has the potential to be so interesting.
Totally agree.
And what we got with that match on Raw,
Cody Rhodes versus Jay Uso,
is arguably Jay Uso's best singles match of his entire career.
Go back and rewatch it if you haven't watched it yet,
or if you haven't seen it in a few days and you want to put a fresh set of eyes on it,
it was great.
And Jay Uso should be really proud of that performance.
I'm with you that if something's on the line, like in this case, there was the chance to go to the King of the Ring finals on the line.
I don't think the story needs to be good guy versus bad guy.
I think that you can just be like, may the best man win.
And that's what we got with Cody versus Jay Uso.
It's also what we're going to get with Randy Orton versus Cody Rhodes.
Like it's a lot of mutual respect right now where the rivalry's at.
It's a lot of like, all right, may the better person win.
and they'll go on to main event SummerSlam.
I agree that it totally works.
When you start to have these matches where there's nothing at stake, that's when I think
you start to get into an interesting territory of it's like, well, why are these people
wrestling?
What's the point here?
If it's just a grudge match, there needs to be a reason for that.
And that's why I think you see people turn heel or you just need to have something at
steak. But I'm with you. When there's something on the line, you can totally have baby face versus
baby face. Also, I just think that there's where we're at right now with the landscape of wrestling,
there's a lot more stronger heels than there are like really strong baby faces. That's not to say
that there aren't some really good baby faces, but I'm just saying like the best heels right now
are better than the best baby faces right now.
Not like, not just like top one too,
but like if you go like five or seven baby faces deep
and you go five or seven heels deep,
I just think that the heel side is outweighing the baby face side.
But I agree with you.
And this actually makes me think back to ECW.
And one of the things I loved about ECW,
especially in the last two-ish years,
but I guess it was a common thread
throughout a lot of ECW
was you just got good matches
for the sake of having good matches.
Like, it was cool watching ECW on TNN
when someone's music would hit
and they'd come out to the ring
and you wouldn't even know who their opponent was.
And then the opponent's music would hit
and you'd be like, huh, well, hell yeah.
I was not expecting this match,
but man,
when you put this person versus this person and you look at it like that, man, this is going to be
really good. And I think that that can work. So sign me up for more of that. Sign me up for more
of baby face versus baby face or even heel versus heel, which I think can be tricky.
Heel versus heel can be tricky because the crowd will often start to turn on one of the people
and you get something interesting there where it's like, hey, that person's a person's
a heel, why is the crowd starting to cheer them? And I think we're, I think we're kind of dipping our
toe into that water. And this is weeks away and we'll talk about this more as we get closer to it.
But Goldberg versus Gunther, Gunther, do this every time. At Saturday night's main event
is interesting because Gunther's a heel. He gets some baby face reactions because he's just so
entertaining and his promos are amazing. Goldberg's coming out there of like, I'm going to,
I'm going to beat you down. I'm going to take you out. And it's almost coming across like arrogant.
And yeah, he's getting a baby face reaction because there's the nostalgia factor there.
But I think that he needs to like put some, I think that a great baby face. And you see this
with promos all the time. A great baby face builds up their opponent.
A great baby face goes, you're really good at this and you're really good at this and you're really good at this, but I still think I can beat you. And it builds up the heel while also like making the baby face feel like they're the underdog. And I think that's always been a really good formula that's worked with wrestling. And I think that I know I've gone off on a tangent here, but I think that there, as we continue to see more promos and more buildup to that Saturday night's main event match, I wonder if we're going to
to see some sort of shift there of like Goldberg really talking Guntherup of like you know what?
You beat this person and you beat this person and you beat this person and you're really good at
this, this, this and this, but you've never beaten me. Like that's, I think that's the type of thing that
they may start to shift that to see. But what I was saying was baby face versus baby face.
Sign me up. I think it can always work if it makes sense. Dustin Effinger.
sent this email in. Hey, Chris, I've been thinking about this for a few days, and I wanted to get your
thoughts. I think you're absolutely right that Cody will take the belt from Sina. It seems like that's
the most logical way to end the retirement tour. With that said, Cody has in the past,
your most recent interview with him, actually, said that the John Sina schedule he was on as a champ
was a killer. With Seth now having the briefcase, my theory is that Sina will drop the belt to Cody,
and then Seth will cash in either the same night or the next Monday.
Seth said that during your last interview that he'd be happy to have the title,
but he's been among guys like Roman Raines and Cody Rhodes,
so it hasn't happened.
What are your thoughts?
Again, I think that Seth Rollins is going to cash in on the championship that John Sina currently has.
Whether he's cashing on John Sina or not, I guess that's up for debate.
I think that John Sina loses the title to Cody Rhodes.
Does that happen at SummerSlam?
Maybe.
Does, do we get a funky finish at SummerSlam?
Which then continues to tell the story to the end of John Sina retirement tour,
which then gives us Cody versus John Sina part three.
That also seems likely.
I think that Cody's already down one, right?
Cody lost to John Sina at WrestleMania 14.
but Cody Rhodes pinned John Sina and Money in the Bank.
I know that was a tag team match,
but we still have that visual of Cody in the middle of the ring,
one, two, three, pinning John Sina.
As we sit here right now,
of course we'll know more after Night of Champions,
as we sit here right now,
it sure feels like to have,
if this is the first ever,
and it is, the first ever two-night SummerSlam,
they want to just blow this thing out of the water.
They want to try to pack that stadium on both nights and have as many fans in there as possible.
I think that you want to have the biggest match that you can have.
I feel like WWE already kind of tip their hat to the fact that it won't be.
John Sina versus Randy Orton at SummerSlam when they called John Sina versus Randy
Orton a backlash one last time.
I feel like they already tipped their hat and told us that, all right, here's the ending to the match
at night of champions.
Here's who's going to be king of the ring because we kind of already told you.
So when it comes to Seth, I could see Seth cashing in on Cody.
I don't know if it's the same night after Cody beat Sina.
Maybe it's the next night.
I'm not sure.
It would certainly make things interesting.
But I think Seth is going to cash it on Cody and not on John Sina.
But I like where your head's at with this.
And again, I don't love how money in the bank went last year.
with Drew McIntyre.
Him winning it that night in Toronto and then unsuccessfully cashing in later that
night, ah, just left a bad taste in my mouth.
And I know that it helped to continue to fuel the feud with CM Punk because CM Punk ruined
the cash in.
And I get that.
And it gave us a beautiful payoff at Bad Blood and that amazing hell and a cell match.
I think that's my favorite match at 2024.
I like that.
But the thing that I really appreciate about money in the bank is just it's always
a thought in the back of the champion's mind. When's Naomi going to cash in? When's Seth Rollins
going to cash in? And I love that's just always just floating around there. You always got to,
you always got to think about that, especially in those moments when you give your all in a match
or in those moments when there's a beat down after the match, you've got to think, oh, is their music
going to hit? Is this the moment? But I like where your head's at here. I think because we saw Cody
roads hold the championship for over a year, there's a real possibility here that his next run
is short, like real short, like minutes short, maybe. Maybe it's days, short, week short.
I just think, though, that if the title change happens at SummerSlam, I think there's a far more
greater opportunity for Seth Rollins to cash in. Like, what a,
What a way to end night two of SummerSlam with like, oh my gosh, John Sina, greatest of all time.
He just lost number 17 to Cody Rhodes.
Okay, what?
Oh, Seth Rollins is coming down here.
He's going to cash in.
Crazy.
If John Sina retains the title at SummerSlam and John Sina continues to hold this all the way up until his last match,
I just can't see John Sina's last.
last match being John Sina loses the title. So now the focus has been to like, all right,
Cody's the champion. Great moment for Cody. John Sina, what a career. Amazing. And then Seth
Rollins music hits and the entire focus shifts off of John Sina. I can't see that happening.
I've been wrong about a lot of things, but I just can't see that happening. Who knows, though, but
I put an over under. I thought this was really interesting.
I put an over-under poll on social media.
I said, over under 100 days until Seth Rollins cashes in.
100 days takes us to like the middle of September-ish.
And a lot of people were taking the under.
A lot of people were saying it happens in less than 100 days.
And I could see that.
It happens at SummerSlam.
So I don't know.
Would you be an over or an under on that?
Very interesting.
Off the rails on Spotify says with the unfortunate timing of Chad Gable's injury.
What happens now to Al Grande Americano and all of his momentum?
Well, first of all, wishing Chad Gable a speedy recovery.
Reports say that he has to get surgery on his shoulder.
And man, he's had, he's in the best shape of his life.
Looks like a million bucks.
And he's been going out there and just putting on banger after banger.
it's, I mean, there's never a good time to get injured, obviously, but this just sucks.
And as for Al Grande Americano, I feel like he's been so closely tied to Chad Gable that I wonder,
I wonder if just out of respect for Chad Gable being injured, I wonder if El Grande
Americano will just take some time out, like just take some time off, rest recoup himself.
And then when Chad Gable's ready to go again, then maybe that's when El Grasman.
will be back in the ring. But it'll be interesting to see how El Grande Americano just reacts to this news.
Because they, you know, they're good friends, obviously. Like such good friends, in fact, that Chad Gable
lent Al Grande Americano, his wrestling boots when Al Grande Americano's boots got lost by the airline.
So maybe just out of sheer respect, he goes, you know what? It's not fair for me to continue to be out there and just
out of respect for you, I'm going to take some time off too.
So no, in all serious, I'm curious. I'm curious where this goes.
I hope that both El Gras and Americano's storyline and Chad Gable's storyline will just pick
right back up where it left off. And I'm hopeful here that this isn't a long injury.
Like, I hope he's back. I don't know what the timeline is on this.
but I think if you believe the reports,
he's out probably at least until the end of the year.
So I just,
I hope that that momentum picks back up.
I also think that Chad Gable is such a just machine.
You ever seen his workouts?
Dude's insane.
Crazy.
I think that if they say to him,
yeah, your recovery's going to take six months,
he's going to be like, okay, I'll see him three.
He just feels like that kind of guy.
But if we are to follow these rumored,
the rumored recovery of this.
So towards the end of the year,
maybe it's a return at Royal Rumble.
But I just hope that where he's at right now
and where that storyline is at right now,
I hope that we just pick that right back up.
Jace Evans on Spotify says,
Chris, we had 11 WWE title changes in 1999,
including the first championship reigns
from the Rock, Triple H, Big Show, Mankind,
and just the second for Stone Cold.
My question to you,
Do you think that the more current long title reigns are preventing amazing talent from taking that next step into main event superstardom?
And do you think that the recent events like the decision to pull the title off of J. RKO style out of nowhere might be a shift that we need?
Jay's great question.
And it's interesting that people are talking about, oh man, that Jay Uso run was so short.
It was so short.
It was only 51 days.
and I pointed out that it was actually longer than nine of John Cena's title runs.
Nine of them.
So that puts it middle of the pack in John Cena's title runs, 51 days.
And it's crazy now that we've completely just forgotten about the past.
We've forgotten about the things that have happened 10 to 15 years ago.
And we're already brainwashed by the idea of like title runs need to be a year long because
Cody's was a year long.
Title runs need to be 1,316 days long because that's how long Roman reign's title run was.
And don't get me wrong.
I appreciate how long those title reigns were.
I appreciate how long Gunther's Intercontinental Championship run was.
I think that it brings a lot of prestige to the title where you've got this fighting champion who goes out there,
defends the title, retains the title.
But I'm so with you on this that you get the lost opportunity for,
younger stars to have a chance to be in that main event picture. It needs to be stated, though,
that we're talking about 1999. We're talking about the absolute peak of the attitude era.
We were talking about a roster that was so stacked at that point in time. I mean,
think of the names you just listed off there. Rock, Triple H, Big Show, Mankind, and Stone Cold.
And then on top of that, we're also talking about Kane and Undertaker.
and like the list goes on and on and on and on and on the roster was so stacked at that point in time
so I think that the title changed hands a lot more frequently back then because that was just the way
that they were writing storylines but also there were so many people that could take that and like
take the ball and just run with it and I pointed this out recently of like the idea that if Rock had
stayed in WWE. And it had that like 30 year long career like The Undertaker or a 20 plus year
career like Randy Orton. How many more titles would he have held? Like Rock has 10. He won nine of
those in 43 months. Isn't that crazy? Like to be in the title picture where you're winning,
losing, winning, losing, nine times speaks to just, it was a completely different time then.
but I think that when you ask a question like this,
you've got to look at like,
all right, well, then who would be those 11 people?
So if the title's going to change hands 11 times,
like it did in 1999,
are you bringing new people into the fold?
Are you giving championship runs to people
who have never been champions before?
Or are you bringing people into the picture
who have been champions before,
but haven't held it in a while?
And when I say that,
I think of people like Randy Orton,
who hasn't had the title,
I believe, since 2018,
someone like AJ Stiles, who hasn't held it in a number of years. Are you bringing people like that
back into the picture? Or are you giving it to people like Braun Breaker, who's never been a world
champion, but will likely be a world champion one day? Dominic Mysterio, who has never been a world champion,
but will for sure be a world champion one day. Jay Uso, who was not a world champion, now had his
first taste of world championship gold, and I'm sure that won't be his last. I think that with Netflix
being part of the WWE world now.
And I said this last year before the Netflix deal was, had started.
Like the Netflix deal had been announced, but it hadn't been started.
I said, I think you're going to see more title changes.
And I said that because I think it makes raw on Monday appointment viewing.
Because when you get things like that random raw in Ontario, California,
when Jay Uso wins the champion, wins the international,
Khananile Championship, I think it makes you go, oh, well, I can't miss Raw now because who knows
what might happen. And that's also what happened when Jayoso lost the World Championship.
It's like, oh, now I got to tune into Raw. And this is also like a thing with like, well,
things are happening on SmackDown. I just think that with where we're at right now, I think we're
going to see some shorter title runs, like title runs that could be three, four months.
long. Maybe it's not changing hands 11 times. Like, that's a lot. You also have to remember the
1999 there was only one championship. Like now you've got the opportunity of like, when you talk about
John Cena winning 17 championships, a lot of those. In fact, I think all of them were done so
in a time when there were two championships, two brands, two championships, two world titles.
When you think about 1999, one championship. I don't think we're going to see 11 titles. I don't think we're going to see 11
title changes, of course, but I think we might see three or four champions in a year.
And that would be a big change from the way it's been over the last three, four years.
So yeah, I would love to see that.
And I'd also love to see where it's like, this is just a star making moment.
You give that person the championship for a PLE or two, a month or two.
And then there still continue to be talked about in that main event picture.
Ben emailed this one in, Hey, CVV, stand back. There's a real, real one coming through. First, I want to say,
thank you for what you do. Your podcast is something that I look forward to every week. It has kept my mind
occupied during challenging times, and your positivity about all things, including wrestling,
is refreshing and admirable. Well, thank you, Ben. My question is, what are some of your
favorite wrestling autobiographies slash books? Mine are the ones written by the Hardy Boys,
Eddie Guerrero, and John Moxley. All three of them.
those are great. Thanks again and hoping to one day attend an Insight Live and obtain that real,
real, real one status. Well, Ben, hope to see you in New York, August 1st, or maybe Survivor Series
weekend in San Diego, although we haven't officially announced that. Pencil it into your calendar.
That's like 96, 6% likely. You listed three great books, so I won't repeat your answers there,
but I think when you talk about wrestling autobiographies,
you have to mention Have a Nice Day.
And you can so clearly tell that Mick Foley wrote this without a ghost writer.
It's just, it's entirely written the way that he speaks.
Such a great book.
If you have never read a wrestling autobiography,
start with Have a Nice Day by Mick Foley.
I remember getting, it's true, it's true,
Kurt Engel's book for Christmas, the year that it came out.
and I read it in like a day or two.
Such a great book.
And I feel like Kurt has so much more of a story to tell because that came out like 25 years ago.
Like he was in WWE for like a year or two.
And then he's already writing a book about his life.
There's so many more stories that he can put into that if he writes a new book now.
And I think, I'm sure you've seen the reports online.
They're working on making a movie about Kurt Engel's life.
I don't know where they're at with that process.
but it's a hell of a story. And I would love to see that. I remember reading Death Clutch,
Brock Lezzer's book, which is written by Paul Heyman, and being just so fascinated by it.
We were going on a road trip. It was like a five or six hour drive. And I read the entire
book cover to cover on the drive there. I was just, I was so like, just got lost in this book.
and it's such a great story.
And also, I listened to the audiobook version of Chris Jericho's written quite a few books,
but I listened to the audiobook version of No is a four-letter word recently.
And Jericho just tells such great stories.
Like, there's a story of going to like Gene Simmons House and like he was so descriptive
in the way that he's telling the story, you feel like you're there.
And then he tells a story about meeting Keith Richards and the Greenfield.
Room, Jimmy Fallon's show. It's so good. There's so many just brilliant stories.
Like, amazing. I recommend that as a book, but I definitely recommend it as an audiobook.
Carrying Cross is a book coming out later this year. I am one of the very few fortunate people
on planet Earth who was given an advanced copy of it. I've read it. It is fascinating.
It is brilliant. I can't recommend it enough. So it's called Life is Fighting available.
for pre-order now and go grab that on Amazon or wherever you get your books. Natty also has a book.
It's coming out, I think, in September. So I think Carrying Cross's book is August. Natty,
Nidehart has a book coming out in September. Last Heart beating. I haven't read that one yet,
but Natty has one heck of a story. So add both of those to your reading list. Go pre-order them now
so that the day they arrive, that book is just sitting there ready for it.
to be read. I don't even know. Mithio del Delamey on Facebook. Who's your favorite TNA wrestler of all
time? Easy. It's AJ Stiles. Come on. And look, if AJ Stiles isn't your favorite TNA wrestler,
he's in your top four. I say this all the time. You can't have a TNA Mount Rushmore without
putting AJ Stiles on it. I remember seeing AJ Stiles for the first time in like, oh,
4 or 5 and just being like, what?
How was he able to do some of these things?
Crazy.
And I remember buying the TNA, Best of AJ Styles, volume 1, DVD, and TNA, AJ
Stiles, Best of AJ Styles, Volume 2, and just being like, man, this guy is so, so good.
And here we are 20 years later, and he's still that good.
Crazy.
And I say this all the time.
But if AJ Stiles truly is going to retire before his 50th birthday,
We have less than two years to appreciate AJ Styles for how very good that he is.
So let's appreciate it.
Gary Bentley on Facebook says,
Would you rather win Elimination Chamber or Money in the Bank?
I think I'd rather be in a Money in the Bank match because Elimination Chamber just scares me.
Like that structure itself just looks painful.
And I've always been really partial to ladder matches.
Like I think back to like TLC and I just think back in general to the types of matches that the Hardy Boys had or Edging Christian had.
I've just always loved ladder matches.
They also look really painful, but I don't think they look as painful as elimination chambers.
So I think I would rather be in a Money in the Bank match.
And I just think that with, and look, there's a lot on the line, right?
The stakes are high.
You win Elimination Chamber, you main event, WrestleMania.
You win money in the bank.
You pretty much, if you're smart about it, you can pretty much guarantee that you're going
to be the next world champion.
And I love that.
There have been a lot of examples, especially in recent years, of that being booked
rather poorly.
But I think that if you're holding money in the bank and you can truly, it can choose your
spot, you're guaranteeing you're going to be the next world champion.
in it. And then you're also in that sense, guaranteeing you're going to be the face of the company.
So I'm going to say money in the bank. And if I'm putting my Chris Sharp thinking cap on right now
or my Chris Sharp cool guy sunglasses as I grab them here and put them on, I'm actually
wearing sunglasses right now as I say this, I would be the money in the bank holder. I would be
the kind of money in the bank winner that would just kind of money in the bank winner that would just
constantly be playing mind games with you.
Just reminding you that your title is not safe.
Your run could come to an end at any point in time.
And I would just constantly be dangling that over your head.
Just yeah, yeah, congrats on your win.
Like literally any match you have,
I would just come out there just to just applaud.
Plod from the ring.
Good stuff.
and then just go to the back.
So yeah, I think money in the bank.
And I would also, I loved when Dolph Ziegler held that was at his Money in the Bank cash in,
my favorite of all time that was 2013 when he finally cashed in.
He held it for so long, almost to the point where people had forgotten or they'd just gotten
so used to seeing him with the Money in the Bank briefcase that they're like, is he ever going
cash this thing in. And then when he finally did, it was like just this swell of emotion and it meant
something. So Chris Sharp, Money in the Bank winner, sign me up. Kalil Karazo emailed this one in.
Good morning, CVV. In honor of episode number 89, I want to highlight one of my all-time favorites,
Steve Smith Sr. Yes, this is the Steve Smith Senior edition. While he wasn't at the protocol,
While he wasn't the prototypical size of a superstar NFLY receiver at his modest five-foot-nine,
his intangibles like his drive, competitiveness, tenacity, and heart helped him become one of the
greatest to play the position. In your opinion, who is that consummate heart over height guy in the
WWE past or present? Ray feels like the obvious answer, but I'd love to hear your take as maybe I'm
forgetting some worthwhile candidates. Thanks, Khalil. Yes, Ray is obviously the
answer that immediately pops in your mind because if you think about Ray, especially in the 90s,
he completely changed the way that we looked at smaller wrestlers. Because in that era of wrestling
in the 90s, guys like Sean Michaels and Chris Jericho were considered, quote, unquote, small,
which is crazy because Sean Michaels was billed at 6.1, 225. What's he actually 6.1, 225? Probably not.
maybe he's more like 511 and 215, but still for someone like that to be considered small
is crazy. Ray Mysterio comes around, and I know that in the ring he presents himself a lot bigger
than he is and he wrestles way beyond his size, but he's like a legit five, three. And he
still wrestles the way that he does, like all heart, all emotion. I love it. And when Ray became
world champion, it was such a statement. It was like planting your flag and being like,
it does not matter what the number on the scale says. It doesn't matter. What the number on the
tape measure says. All that matters is who's the better wrestler. And I love that. So Ray Mysterio,
I think will always be that guy where it's just like, look what he accomplished. Like hard over height
is the way that you phrased it. And I love that. But if we're going to throw it back here,
I think some other really underappreciated smaller guys,
we immediately need to talk about Spike Dudley.
Like Spike Dudley, he was a guest of my show four or five years ago.
What a great chat that was.
He very rarely does interviews.
So like go back and listen to that.
Man, he tells some great stories.
Spike Dudley is fantastic when you think about a smaller dude who just like didn't wrestle like it.
Also, I think maybe my mind's just thinking ECW now, a lot of guys really fit that bill in
ECW.
Think about how good Mikey Whiprek was.
Little Guido.
Tony Mama Luke.
Colin Delaney.
Like a lot of these smaller guys where you would see them in a match with someone
bigger and you'd be like, all right, they might not win, but they're going to put up a heck
of a fight.
one of my favorite ECW matches of all time is guilty as charged Spike Dudley versus Mike Awesome,
may he rest in peace. Mike Awesome is just a beast of a man, 6-6-2-95 or something like that versus Spike Dudley.
And like, Spike gives him a match. So nothing but respect for Ray, for Spike, for Mikey, for little Guido, for Tony Mom
Maluk for Colin Delaney and there's plenty of other smaller dudes that I'm leaving off the list here.
And that's not being done intentionally.
If I listed off every small guy and talked about how great they were, we would be here all day.
But those are some of the just underappreciated, underrated guys that just aren't talked about enough.
And maybe you'll spend some time this weekend going back and watching some amazing Tony Mamalook moments and just,
I mean, he deserves it. He deserves it.
Adriel Salazar 23 on Instagram says,
When you were Chris Sharp, what weapons were you using?
And were you going through tables?
Well, when I was Chris Sharp, I was a backyard wrestler and I had no idea what I was doing.
So I think we need to preface everything that I'm about to say by remembering that.
I was a 16, 17, and 18 year old kid in my friend Greg Cusack's back-e
and had no idea what I was doing. I didn't start actually training until I was 20.
My weapon of choice was a cookie sheet because I think I remembered seeing it in some other
backyard wrestling video and it just makes the best sound. And I remember being like,
oh, let's buy a cookie sheet and see how this works. Went to whatever Walmart or Canadian
tire or something and bought a cookie sheet. Shout out Canadian tire.
And a cookie sheet's five bucks or whatever.
It makes the loudest noise and doesn't hurt it all.
So we bought a lot of cookie sheets in our backyard wrestling federation, the HCW.
We also had chairs and kendo sticks.
Kendo sticks, when you loosen them up, there's like a secret with kendo sticks where like if
they're taped up tightly together, then they're basically just like, it's like swinging
a broom stick at someone.
But if they're taped loosely where it's just like taped around the top and the bottom,
a lot of give to them.
So Kendo sticks, we did a lot of, again, we didn't know what we were doing.
Okay.
We were dumb kids.
I'll put, I should put up some more highlights from our backyard wrestling days.
I'm pretty proud of them because like we were all just pretty athletic and definitely
made it look like we knew what we were doing.
We certainly did not know what we were doing.
but we tricked, I think, at least ourselves into believing that we knew what we were doing.
But cookie sheets, chairs, it's embarrassing to admit that.
There were so many moments where, like, my one friend, my one friend, Sean Agar,
my buddy Greg Kuzak, he wrestled under the name Rage.
He would do the Rob Van Dam, like, throw the chair at the guy, the guy would catch it,
and then he would do the spinning kick, like kick the guy in the face.
Sean didn't catch the chair quite right.
And Greg, like, kicked the chair probably, like, from two feet away into Sean's
mouth and he was bleeding everywhere.
And I remember filming this.
And I was also doing commentary at the time.
Again, stupid kids in a backyard wrestling federation.
I remember filming this and, like, zooming in and his, like, blood pouring out of his mouth.
And, like, on commentary, I'm excited and, like, selling this like, it's the coolest thing.
In the back of my mind, I'm like, oh, did he just lose some teeth?
Thankfully, he did not.
But we made a lot of mistakes.
A lot of mistakes.
So cookie sheet was at the top of the list because sounded great.
The pain was a zero out of 10.
Love it.
I'm not encouraging you at all to grab a cookie sheet and hit your sibling over the head with it.
But if you were to do that, it would make a very cool sound and would not hurt.
I'm not encouraging this behavior at all.
But cookie sheets were a really good one because you got all of the pop and the sound of a really cool spot and none of the pain associated with it.
And that, my friends, is the final question on this.
Ask CVV number 89, the Mike Dickke, Alexander McGilney and Steve Smith, Senior Edition.
If you're listening on Spotify, just drop the word pizza.
Pizza Friday. Pizza!
Which also remind me, I was such a big ECW fan if you couldn't tell.
It also reminds me of when the FBI would come out for their matches,
full-blooded Italians if you weren't an ECW fan or if you're too young to remember that.
And the crowd would chant,
Where's my pizza?
Oh, I love it so much. Where's my pizza?
If you've got a question for next week, leave it on Spotify as a comment.

And we'll wrap this up with a quote I saw from Jim Quick.
I saw this on social media.
Man, it's so good.
When you're overthinking, remember this.
Worrying doesn't take away from tomorrow's troubles.
It takes away from today's peace.
Be great.
And be grateful, my friends.

Jim Rome takes on sports.
Why? Because I have a job to do.

So I don't want to hear from you lava pigs on this notion today.
No idea what you're talking about.
You're complaining more than you like to breathe air.
It's like you get up in the morning only to complain and cry and moan on social media about things that you don't even understand.
