Ladies and gentlemen, Chris Van Flea!
So much has happened since the last time I saw you.
It feels like two days and 200 years all at the same time.
Right?
That was Survivor Series.
So not quite a year ago, but my goodness, a lot's happened.
A lot has happened.
I think the biggest thing that's happened since the last time I saw you is you are now the WWE Women's Champion.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Crazy, right?
How's that feeling when you hear that?
Just a little girl from Victoria, BC.
It's crazy.
It's crazy because I never actually dreamt of that moment.
Like, and I feel like people wouldn't be surprised by that because they know that, like, I've just been along for the ride.
Like, it is what it is.
Whatever happens, happens.
Like, I kind of, like, let go of, like, having strict goals within the parameters of pro wrestling.
a long time ago when I realized that I couldn't control anything, right?
And so then when this kind of like fell into my lap in SummerSlam,
I was like, holy, like, I did it.
I did it, but I didn't even like necessarily set out to do the thing.
And then I did the thing.
Now I'm at the top.
What's so interesting about your career is you've gotten to this point by not caring about winning matches.
Not caring about much, really.
Like, besides just, like, entertaining and having fun, like, I really haven't, like, stressed out about my job since, probably since, like, after tough enough.
For the first year of my career, I stressed out really hard.
And then after tough enough, when I realized, like, oh, what's meant to be will be, and you can't control anything.
And, like, sometimes the people who don't deserve things.
things get it and the people who do don't and vice versa.
Like, anything could happen.
I let it go after that.
But some people will hear that and think that you don't care.
And that's not it.
Yeah.
Like you care deeply.
And that's so obvious whether it's a promo, a backstage, a match, whatever.
You care, but I guess you just don't, whatever happens happens.
I care about like my work ethic, the package that I bring to work, the way that I treat
people backstage or the way that I interact with fans. I care about being entertaining. I care about
if I have a promo, I'm going to make sure it's the best promo I can give or the best backstage.
I care about the outfit and the aesthetics. But like, I don't care about the grand scheme of things
because, like, I can't. I would be up all hours of the night if I cared about my creative
and the direction I was going in. Because, like, I'm not in the writer's room.
room. The most
insight that I've
got into the writer's room is unreal.
That's funny.
I saw what the fans saw
and that's the first time I was like,
wow, like that's what it looks like.
That's the conversations they have. That's
the round table they sit at. I didn't know.
I was like, maybe they're on Zoom on their couch.
I wasn't sure.
Did you think along this journey of
going into WWE, getting released,
coming back to WWE, did you think like
I'm just happy to be here.
Like, did you think it wasn't even possible to be WWE champion?
Oh my God, yeah.
When I came back in 2023, I don't care what I'm doing.
You want me on TV for two seconds?
You want me to, you know, like take the jaded five weeks in a row.
You want me to be the first one out of the Royal Rumble.
Don't care.
Just happy to be here.
Like, I needed a break.
The grind.
I had been grinding since 2014 to the point where, like,
I was just, I was exhausted because I'm one of those people where I was scheduling work for like,
like three month chunks at a time. So you think like, okay, I'll schedule these three months.
I can chill. I'll do the bookings. I'll do whatever. But like, no, because I was thinking
today about what was going to happen three months from tomorrow. Like I just kept thinking about
the booking, booking, booking, making more money, doing more. How can I?
make my name bigger, my brand bigger, what more can I do? And it was so exhausting by the time
that I texted Triple H and asked for my job back in 2023, I was just so thankful to like,
let Jesus take the wheel for at least a couple years, like until they inevitably fired me again,
was my thought. Collect the paycheck, do the job, try to prove them wrong and me right,
but like just like ride the WWE wave for a second.
Yeah.
Which is not any more relaxing.
Like it's actually just as exhausting, but in a different way, right?
My favorite part about you winning this championship is when the crowd starts to realize you're the last one left in the ring.
And I'm dangling upside down.
And then you sit up and the crowd's going crazy because they know it's about to happen here.
Were you feeling that?
Oh my God.
So I was laying upside down.
down. And first of all, if you watch really close, I'm very, like, ever so slightly trying to shift
my weight from toe to toe, because my toes are the only thing that's keeping me there. My legs are
cramping. The backs of my, of my, like, hamstrings are on fire because they're pressed up
against the metal. And I'm like, okay, just release this toe and like, hold on with this one. I'm like,
oh my God, then the other one. And I'm like, I can't move because if I move, it gives it all away.
You know I'm alive.
I have to stay dead until that very moment and then like see what happened.
And fans have almost forgotten that you're there.
Right.
You're kind of hidden.
Which is the hope.
Yeah.
Like that was strategic.
Everything was strategic in that moment where I was like, you know, and just like making
sure that I stayed so still.
And I'm laying there and I'm looking like up at the Tron and I see.
see that Jade and Charlotte take the final bump and I'm like, okay, this is it.
Like they'll either know or I'll sit up and they'll know.
But like, I was still upside down and I felt a rumble.
And the minute that I started turning my head and looking around, it was like I felt
everyone stand up.
And it gave me chills.
It was, if I could dream of a scenario,
where I was winning the greatest title that a woman could win in wrestling, that was better than
that moment. Like, I could not have dreamt of that moment. You're standing on top of the ladder.
You've told me before you're scared of heights. But you're standing up there celebrating,
soaking it all in. Did I tell you I was afraid of heights?
Yeah, you told me you didn't enjoy like the idea of being in a money in the bank match.
Yeah. I'm like, I'm afraid of heights.
but then I've also done like the highest cliff jump in the world and like so you know.
Maybe just lean into the fear.
That.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like I do love a moment to push myself.
So I've been higher than that ladder.
But those ladders are so shaky.
They are so wobbly, so shaky.
And Matt was like, why'd you get on the front side of the ladder?
You're supposed to stand on the backside.
I'm like, Matt, I was just holding on for dear feet.
in life. Okay, I was just, my legs were shaking, and I was doing like the Pilates shakes where you're,
you're like, legs are so tight and you're trying not to shake, but you're inevitably like quivering.
And like, I'm standing up there and I stand up right there for like a second. Then I start shaking
too much, so I sit down. And I'm like, okay, I'm just going to like look like I'm chilling.
Like, oh, and then I'm like, okay, I should actually face the other way. Like, let me face the other way because
pyro is going to go off. I want to face the other way. So then I'm in between the ladder. And then I'm
shaking like this. Oh, my gosh. Nobody tells you.
tells you how to go up there. You don't practice climbing a ladder and like winning a match like
that. Especially like climbing a ladder in itself is one thing. Climbing a ladder that's inside of a ring
that's already a little shaky. Shaky and kind of rickety and like it's been through some stuff
already. Yeah. And then you're reaching up to grab whatever it is. So you don't really have your
hands and you want to look like good in the moment. So you know that photo.
that moment's going to be everywhere.
Everywhere, right?
So it's like, God forbid, you have a weird look on you
or you're like scared.
Like, I was just, that's all I was thinking was like,
I've got to get good photos.
Well, you nailed it because the photos are amazing.
And the photos are real.
Like, the photos are like,
I really felt like all those emotions in that moment.

You've got to try breakfast.
And what better way than with a delicious pre-organic coffee?
starting with just $1 all day, every day now until December 31st.
You gotta try breakfast at A&W.
I participating A&W locations in Ontario.
Did you plan on dedicating this title win to Michael Hayes?
No.
No, I did not.
Nope, it came out of my mouth.
And like, what a petty queen thing to say.
Like, it came, the whole post-show interview was,
such a blur. And it was incredible. Like, everything that I said, I was like, oh my God, I slapped so
hard with that one. And I was not a brain cell was like going off in my head. I was just speaking.
And like, dedicating it to Michael Hayes, I'm so glad that came out of my mouth. Because it just
like, poor Michael Hayes has just had to take it on the chin since unreal. And like the best part is
that he supports me. Like he is a ride or die Chelsea fan. He has always pushed me to be like a better
version to think outside of the box to like if I do something like kind of lame on live events,
he'll tell me. He'll be like don't, don't be doing that on TV. Don't be, you know, like,
like practice makes perfect. You got to be better. You got to this and that. Like, or if I have one
shot, it's like you got to do good. Because if you don't do.
Well, here, you're not going to get the opportunities that we're talking about.
Like, just little things.
He's always had my back.
So the fact that he's the one that got, like, so much flack for unreal, I'm like, we've got
a play off of this.
And that was edited to make it look that way, right?
Like, he said some things before that that didn't make air.
Yes.
So he said some, like, he did the old compliment sandwich.
He complimented me.
He said the truth.
Then he complimented me.
But, like, the truth is what the people want to see.
That middle part.
Like, people don't care about, like, gassing me up.
Who cares?
Well, look, the compliments are the truth, too.
Like, the tall truth.
Yeah, but, like, who cares?
Like, that doesn't make reality TV.
At the end of the day.
We're not watching the Kardashians to watch them tell each other how beautiful they look.
Like, we're watching them to fight, right?
Like, and that's the same thing with Unreal.
Like, people need to, they need to see, like, the gritty parts, the dark parts, the parts that
aren't so pretty.
It makes everything more human.
You're one of the wrestlers that's leaned into Unreal.
real. Like, you seem to enjoy being part of it. That's not the case for everybody.
But, like, I've always had that mindset. I've always said yes to everything. So when they called me
and told me this, I said, absolutely, I'll do it. But I'm not going to censor myself. That's your job.
If you want me to be censored or if you don't want something said, like, when you put a mic on me,
I'm still going to say the exact same things I would say. I hope that doesn't get me in trouble.
but like if it does, it does.
Like, you know what I mean?
But I feel like the minute that season one came out,
I realized, oh, this is going to change things.
This is giving fans the opportunity to get behind someone
for who they really are, as opposed to the character.
Because up until that point, people found me very annoying.
And then all of a sudden it was like, oh, wait, she's like,
we love her character.
Yeah, you're endearing.
Right.
And in real life, like,
we see the grind,
we like the grind,
we respect the grind,
and like,
the grind is going to work
and being this annoying character.
And that's what changed
the course of my career now
is that Unreal came out
and the fans
have strong-armed the company
into doing what they wanted.
And I...
So you think Unreal changed your career?
Yes.
Wow.
Definitely. I mean, obviously, like, the past two years doing social media interacting with the fans, that's also helped at all. It's been like this perfect storm. And I love that finally we're seeing the creative team take that into account. Take the things that are happening. The current events, the real life things, the social media things, the way that the fans are reacting to the crowd. Like, they're taking that into account because we can't ignore what's the real life things, the social media things, the way that the fans are reacting to the crowd. Like, they're taking that into account because we can't ignore what
the fans want. Every now and then, we have to give them what they want. If you think back to
watching wrestling in the attitude era, if you were a character during that time, all we would have
seen was your segment on Raw or your segment on Smackdown. That's it or your match.
Yes. So we would have seen 30 seconds a week, maybe eight, 10 minutes a week, that's it.
Now it's seven days a week, 24-7, perhaps maybe to the detriment of always having to be on.
Well, that's the thing. It's a blessing and a curse because I, when I came back in 2023,
I steered my narrative with Twitter and with Instagram with social media. I was able to kind of like
sail the ship in the direction I wanted it to go in because I would do something on social media
or I would do something for the digital and social team at WWE. And then creative would see whether
people liked it or not, and they would end up following that path. So it worked out really,
really well for me. But on the other hand, it blurs the line and people think that they know me.
People think that they can say things about me, that they know me, that they, you know,
they either really hate me or they really love me, like, you don't know me at all. My friends and
family are the only people that know me. At the end of the day, what I post on social media,
it's a front. Yeah. Doesn't matter whether I'm posting like totally without makeup on
and like with my coffee in the morning and like you think that, wow, she has no makeup on. She's so
authentic. Like, no, I still, I still fix my messy bun. Yeah, you planned out that post too.
Right. It's all curated. Everything is curated, even the things that are just a quick
snap, like I still decided whether I wanted to show you that or not.
Yeah.
So the lines are really blurred, and that's one thing that I look forward to in the future
is starting to cut off those channels that I don't need people to see or to, like, interact
with.
Well, you recently left X.
Is that for good?
You're never going back?
Ethan texted me.
He was like, Ethan Page.
He was like, Chelsea, don't be doing this again.
If you're leaving, you're leaving for good this time.
do not embarrass yourself. I was like, I love that. I needed to hear that, holding me accountable,
but I am done. Like, I'm done, unfortunately. God, I love Twitter so much because of,
it's allowed me to, like, fill my creative cup when I wasn't necessarily able to at work.
But unfortunately, it has allowed that toxicity and negativity to take over. And I was finding that, like,
I was telling the world that if I believed and fed into the love, that I would have to believe and feed into the hate.
And I was.
Like, I was starting to, like, feed into that stuff.
And I can't do it.
Like, I will not allow the internet to cyber bully me or any of my friends.
And I was becoming, like, this, like, online vigilante.
And it was just biting me in the ass.
And I'm not going to allow them to tell me, like,
what my beliefs are or who I vote for, even though I'm Canadian, we've laughed about that.
Yeah.
We can't vote.
Right?
I'm not going to allow them to tell me what race my friends are or, you know, to bully my family,
to say things about my coworkers that are untrue or unfair or whatever.
Like, I'm just, I can't do it.
I cannot do it.
I hate bullying, and I really hate.
cyberbullying and the narrative that Twitter comes up with and the dog piling, it's too much.
And I love the fandom, but unfortunately, the fandom, they also turn into bullying.
I think the best thing about social media is everybody has a voice.
And the worst thing about social media is everybody has voice.
And I just, I don't need to hear their voices anymore, you know?
And I hope that in the future what happens is that my work doesn't depend on social media.
But right now with pro wrestling, it does.
There's parts of it that are intertwined.
But hopefully I can get to a point where I can just post on Instagram for fun and not for work.
Do you feel like it was affecting your mental health?
Like you're opening up Twitter and it's just people saying terrible things about you?
Yes.
And it was affecting relationships at work.
It was like, they were trying to say who I didn't like and who I didn't get along with.
They were trying to say, these are the people that are bullies, these are the locker room leaders,
and they're still doing that.
Like, I literally just saw an interview that Lainey Reid did about me, and she's completely in character as Lainey Reid from Fatal Influence,
and they are trying to say that what she's saying is the truth in real life.
Like, be so for real people.
Touch grass.
Like, realize that we're living in a soap opera in WWE.
When we go home, we are friends.
We text.
We hang out.
We support each other.
We share clothes.
We go to the gym together.
Like, it's just...
The lines are so blurred.
They're so blurred.
The fans don't know what to believe or what they believe what they want to believe.
Yeah, and I understand it.
is also a great thing, a blessing and a curse as well.
We've allowed them to feel that way.
We've allowed them to be comfortable with the supporting us to a fault and dogpiling us.
Like, we've allowed it all in pro wrestling.
And so that's why there's like a part of me that's like, I hope that if I make it to Hollywood,
if I break through and I get to do movies and TV, I hope that I can set boundaries.
then. But right now, I'm going to allow it all to happen while I'm in this pro wrestling world
with small exceptions. And now the exception is, like, unfortunately, you're not going to be able
to reach me via X. It's also especially difficult for you because your name's Chelsea Green
and you play a character named Chelsea Green. Again, another line that's blurred and a blessing
and a curse because the blessing is is that I use my name to market myself. I can go to other
industries and say, I'm Chelsea Green and when they Google me, you know, it's, there's not
two different people. They're not going to be like, wait, I'm confused, who is she? You know,
I don't have that weird, like, do I introduce myself as Chelsea Green or as whoever, right?
So that's amazing, but that, yeah, that blurs the line for the face.
So do you still think about breaking through what's next Hollywood films, TV shows? Like,
you've done some stuff. Yeah, yeah. I did a horror movie this year, which was incredible.
I mean, it opened, because I've never been like a horror fan, but I know that that has a kind of a cult following the way wrestling does.
And they merge. Those fan bases merge quite often. That was, I was. I was.
eye-opening, the making of a horror movie, the prosthetics, the art, I fell in love with it.
I really, really hope that the horror industry will, like, open the doors to me and let me in,
and then I can do some more and maybe be like a final girl in something.
I would love that.
I did a couple projects other than that, TV shows and things.
And then on Wednesday, I have a movie that I'm going to be filming in Toronto, just a short little part.
But, you know, all these, like, little bits that I get to do, like, I just want to build a resume.
I just want to build a resume so that hopefully when something big comes, I have some, like, a leg to
stand on.
I know you have a friendship with John Sina and his wife.
Has he given you any advice about breaking through and doing that at some point down the road?
Yes.
Every time that we do get together, it's not often.
Like, I mean, hello, they're the busiest couple in the world.
Sure.
And then Matt and I are very busy.
So we try to get together a couple times a year for a date night.
The date nights are long.
We have lots of wine and we just talk about everything that's gone on in the past, say, four months.
And so, of course, that what comes up is his work and my love of, like, acting.
And, I mean, he always just reaffirms that I'm doing it the correct way.
I don't think that I'm like too big to audition and self-tape and I don't think I'm too big for these
minor roles and cameos. I will take just like in wrestling, like I will take anything because if it
means that I can build that resume up and be ready when the time comes, that's going to be better
for me. I have to learn an entire new industry. And that starts from the ground up. I mean, I didn't even
know how a schedule worked in Hollywood. I didn't know how scripts work. I didn't know the names of people
or when they're talking about like lingo on set. All those things are things I've had to learn,
which I had to learn 12 years ago in wrestling. When you hear Check the Gate, you're like,
yes, we're going home. Right. Like there's just so many things that I mean, I just even learned
on the set of Red Wedding, the horror movie. It was, it's incredible.
So I'm still, I've so much to learn.
But I'm currently working on the art of a self-tape because I'm realizing that I love, I love acting.
I love being on set and the job.
And that part is somewhat easy for me, memorizing the script and being there and being in the moment.
But man, an audition, a self-tape, it's a whole different beast.
And that's changed so much.
Yes.
as in this post-2020 world,
used to be able to go into an audition room
and win them over with your energy and your presence.
Which I love.
Sure.
I love schmoozing a room.
You might even get the job before even saying your lines.
Right.
Now, they might not even, unfortunately,
watch your whole self-tape.
The first seven seconds.
They will watch the first seven seconds.
They might just watch your slate and then go, no.
That's so true.
That's crazy.
It's so true.
So now your slate needs to be great.
well mine aren't but i'm working on it
chelsea green 5 foot 8 i'm based in wherever that's it right luckily i'm like
hi guys i'm chelsea green i'm 5 foot 8 based in orlando florida willing to travel
we'll do whatever i can we'll cut my big toe off for the job you know like what do you need
hired yeah i um i had a hilarious experience um we were doing the euro tour a couple months
ago. And I had just left Sicily. I'd just done my vacation with Matt. I had just left Sicily
traveling to Bologna, Italy to do a smackdown. And I got a call for my agent. You have a
self-tape, but you have to do it in the next 24 to 48 hours, hopefully 24. And I'm
it's for Baywatch.
Wow.
Yeah, but I had to do it.
I had to do it in my hotel room with Matt reading for me, with terrible lighting.
It was like, no, this is my dream, like my dream audition right now, and I didn't even have my acting coach.
I didn't have the proper lighting.
You know, all the things that you want to set you up for success.
Like, I'm setting it up.
I'm setting up my camera.
that I don't even know how to do a video recording. I've only ever taken selfies of myself on,
setting it up on a table with a garbage can, with a box of tissues, with that on there,
with like this makeshift light that I tried to aim at myself with a bed in the background.
I was so embarrassed, and I had texted Stephen Amel like, hey, I'm, you know, I'm really excited
I'm taping for, for Baywatch today, like small part, but, you know, fingers crossed. And he was so sweet.
I'm sure he like put in a nice word.
But I was embarrassed because then I'm sending what looks like.
I don't want to say what it looks like, but it didn't look great, you know?
But at least you did it.
That's the thing.
There's a lot of aspiring actors that would have gone, ah, I wish I could.
Sorry, I'm on vacation.
Right.
I can't do that.
Like, you know, maybe I have the freedom to do that within wrestling now.
Like, you know, we put in some work.
They know what I have to offer.
But, I mean, still, I'm still such a yes man.
I could never.
But with acting, like, I'm so hungry.
I want it so bad.
It's better for me to just do the thing and learn from it.
And that's what my acting coach said, too.
Like, I sent it to her.
She's like, look, I would have given you a million other things that you could have done
to make this look better.
But at the end of the day, you did the best you could with the circumstances.
This is a skip it.
Did you get it?
No.
Otherwise, I would be yapping.
We would be talking for an hour about Baywatch.
Like, I can't wait to see who gets it.
Because I do love.
That's a fun game to play.
I love watching.
Yeah.
Because they make choices you would have never made.
I'm so new.
I'm in my head.
The people who get the roles are never in their head.
They're always so authentically that character.
So it'll be really interesting.
I'll be totally jealous.
I can't wait to see who it is.
But hopefully, hopefully I get more opportunities because I did it.
Yeah.
I did the thing, okay?
There's this meme of you that pops up all the time.
You recognize this one?
I love it.
When you ask her, what's wrong?
And she says nothing that spends the whole day looking at you like this.
Which just no, that is exactly what I do to Matt, except usually I've got a baggy hoodie on and no makeup.
And not that shirt?
Not, you know, there's not so much boob out, usually at home.
This goes like viral outside of wrestling.
Like this is like a mainstream name.
It's so real.
Like it's so real for anyone in a relationship.
That's so true.
Have you ever seen the videos where it's the same thing?
Like she says she's not mad and you go to hold her hand in the car.
And she's like in the backseat.
Like it's so it's that.
It is that.
Anyone who's in a relationship knows.
I love it so much.
It makes me laugh.
I saw it on some like, I don't even know, not a wrestling page.
And I was like, wait a second.
That's Chelsea Green.
I love when things transcend wrestling, like Charles running to the ring.
Oh, yes.
That one gets me every time because my girlfriends who don't know wrestling will send it to me.
Yes.
And it's something like, you know, when the sale hits at Eritzia.
And it's like Charles running to the ring.
That's that.
Yeah.
That's going to live forever now.
Forever.
I love that for me.

You gotta try breakfast.
At participating A&W locations in Ontario.
I love that you came in here sporting the Shiner.
You maybe could have put a whole bunch of makeup over top of it.
It's pretty black.
Yeah.
It's pretty dark.
But like we're in the business.
of milking it for what it's worth.
So I will, in fact, put my entire face on and skip my eye.
Did you know when it happened?
Oh, yeah.
Immediately, Chris.
This is broken.
Immediately.
It happened.
I looked at the ref.
And people have spotted this.
I looked at the ref.
I said, my face is broken.
And that was it.
I knew.
I always know.
Like, wrestlers were very in tune with our body.
Athletes very into.
You know immediately when something's wrong.
Even if it's like a minor little thing, you know.
But, you know, I've had quite a few things broken.
I did think it was my cheek.
I didn't think it was my orbital bone.
I thought I had cracked my cheek because I've had that before with a broken nose.
But I heard kind of like a crack.
And then...
Oh, you heard it?
Yes.
I heard a crack.
And then I felt like a,
whoosh of heat.
Yeah, whenever you break something,
it's just like your adrenaline takes over,
especially in front of a live audience, I should say.
When you have 10 to 20,000 people watching you,
usually you don't feel the pain.
You feel a big rush of heat.
But this was my most painful injury to date.
And that should tell you something.
Were you instantly thinking, oh my God,
I just won the women's championship?
Like my whole, the whole,
the whole, not just like weak, like the weak flash before my eyes, but like 13 years flashed before my eyes.
Ria Ripley flashed before my eyes. Like all of it, I was like, come on. And you know what?
The worst part was I had just said to Sam Roberts. I think it was to Sam Roberts. I said it.
Like every time something good in wrestling happens to me, it's followed by something devastating.
something nasty happens to me right after.
Like, I have such bad luck.
But that promo you cut with Nick Aldus,
I think it's the best promo your career.
Thank you.
Because it felt so real.
Like, you're listing off all of the things you've done.
Yeah.
Bled, sweat, tears, the pies, the cakes, all of it.
Right.
Like, you can't take this thing away.
I mean, at the end of the day, it was real.
Like, we have so much to work with.
We have 13 years to work with.
And within the company, we have so much to work with.
I have done so much since 2018, but so much since 2023, like, dumpster matches and
every, like, shtick I've done.
So there was so much to work with.
In fact, we just kept having to trim the promo.
We had a lot.
Me and Nick, we have great chemistry when it comes to pre-tapes, backstages, promos, like,
We love bouncing ideas off of each other. He's always giving me incredible feedback or like,
you know, maybe, like, maybe say it like this. Maybe change it. Like, I think he thinks of it the same
way I do, whereas like, we're not wrestling, we're acting. So like, how do we make this super real
instead of such a wrestling promo? If I have to hear another wrestling promo where the cadence is so
wrestling-y, it gives me the ick. I cringe all this.
time. Like, it's getting better and better because we're leveling up or taking acting
classes. We're realizing that it needs to be real. It needs to be authentic. And if it's not,
you have to dive deep like you would in acting. Like, come up with a backstory. Create something
that's real so that you can do an emotional recall. You know what I mean? And that's like what I was
doing. I was, I, yes, the words were real. The promo was real. But at the end of the day,
I still wrote it, memorized it, and then acted it out for you.
So after you get the diagnosis of your injury, what's the conversation with Triple H or
whoever it was about like, all right, so it's broken.
Now what?
No, you know me.
I didn't even leave the ER before making sure that they were able to, like, clear me
after X amount of weeks.
Oh, I was not leaving without, no, no, no.
What can I do?
what would make you, like the surgeons, comfortable enough to say, okay, fine, on this day you can wrestle.
You're going to wrestle with a mask?
I've got a mask.
I bedazzled it.
Of course.
Obviously.
A second mask.
I bedazzled it at a different color this time.
So you have to wait and see.
But, you know, like, we, if you don't take care of yourself and you don't, and you don't,
push to get answers.
Like medically, you could be out for as long as you want to be out for.
Like, you could be out for ages, like just rehabbing.
And, you know, we've got so many things wrong with us.
All of us do.
So I just always want to make sure, like, I get ahead of it.
No, no, no, no.
Give me a date now.
If I can beat the date, great.
Like, rare.
But if I can beat the date great.
But so I got a date in Philly that night.
and then I went back home.
I had a couple of very rough days at home.
After flying, after coming down from the adrenaline,
after swelling, like all that stuff.
It was a rough few days.
And then I went, I found a surgeon in Orlando.
I went to him and then I doubled down
and made sure I had a written note that said when I could come back.
Because, you know, WWE is, they are so careful.
Yeah.
And they have to.
be. Like, this is, this is, for me, this is my eyeball. And if I break it anymore, if I break my
orbital bone anymore, that means my eyeball drops down an inch. Like, that's disgusting. It means
a plate in my eye. That's, that's a big deal. So they are always going to be more cautious and
careful with us and make sure that they're taking care of and that we're 100% whereas I'm thinking,
yeah, but like, how can I make this story work? And how can we not drag this out? When's the
soon as I can get in the ring to give the people what they want so that we can continue to
feed this storyline. You shared this photoshopped image of you and Gunther in the ring,
him trying to have a match with you for the WWE Women's Championship. I love it. Chelsea versus
Gunther? Okay.
2026. I actually just saw him at the live event yesterday and I said, did we book ourselves into a feud?
I don't think he liked that, but I'll continue.
Hey, if I could do it with Pentag and do it with him.
That's right.
And what a match that is.
Wouldn't that be so hilarious?
And I just know he would, like, just based off of what he gave me in that moment,
I've never interacted with him in the ring.
Rarely do we interact with men ever on WWE TV, right?
Like, we just have a very hard boundary that we try not to cross,
especially for cable TV.
and there's limits to what we can do.
That was incredible.
Like, I felt like alive in that moment.
I mean, once I finished the promo
and I was relieved that I said what I needed to say
that the fans were behind it,
I felt like it was like palpable,
like the audience and the energy.
Then when he came out and he was just so nasty and rude
and like he looked like a real-life villain,
I had so much fun.
And then Matt Cardona comes out.
I know.
And good Thursday.
I need to give it to him.
Like, he let me say whatever I wanted to say.
A lot of times, like, our egos get in the way and we're like, oh, but, but, but, like, he let me cook him.
I loved it.
And then my husband came out.
So Matt says he loves that your marriage is now part of WWE Canon.
Yeah, what does Canon mean?
I'm so sorry.
I haven't Googled that and I keep hearing him say that.
And I'm like, I'm so confused.
Canon means like it's official within this world.
So like if something happens on the screen in Star Wars, it's part of canon.
It's part of that universe.
So your marriage isn't just a marriage isn't just a marriage that exists in real life.
Your marriage exists between the characters also of Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green.
God, I wish I had to know that.
I can't believe my husband knew that and I didn't.
Of course he knows that.
Because it's a wrestling thing?
It's a movie nerd thing.
Okay, got it.
Got it.
So we're canon.
What are we?
You know what?
So, for example, what's a TV show you like?
Well, unfortunately, it's all reality TV.
What's a movie you like?
No, no, no, no, any Taylor Sheridan show.
Okay.
We're putting that into the universe because I would love an audition to be in a Taylor Sheridan.
I love this.
We're watching Landman right now.
Okay, great.
So if you're watching Landman and they happen to flick on the-
Glenn Powell and Michelle got it.
I'm here.
Glenn Powell and Michelle Randolph, they're dating in real light.
She's in the show.
He comes in, then they're dating on screen.
That might be a little different.
What I was going to say was if you're watching Landman and you turn on the TV and they're watching
The Simpsons, the Simpsons exist within the same world that Landman exists.
You've officially lost me.
Well, you guys are married and your characters are married too.
How does that sound?
That was so cool.
When I got to work that day.
Here's a better example.
Maxine Dupree and Austin theories.
characters are dating in canon, okay?
In the universe of WWE.
But in real life, they are just friends.
See what I mean?
So in canon, the characters...
In canon.
Yes.
Got it.
I like that.
Okay.
Now I get it.
Is that one kind of...
That's a better example.
Because we're talking about, you know, Sid the kid.
Now I get it.
Okay.
Now I get it.
Okay.
So, when I showed up to work that day,
myself and some of the writers had had thrown around some ideas but we just we didn't know the injury
was fresh we didn't know what direction this was all going to go in when i got to work and i saw
the layout of what was going to happen i was like beyond thrilled beyond thrilled i thought and i know
I'm biased. I thought that was the most fun opening segment of Smackdown. It was a couple
segments, but opening of Smackdown that I've seen in a long time. Take me out of it. But like,
a promo that like gets the crowd emotionally invested, check. A surprise interaction between a
female and a male superstar. Check. Roasting each other. Check. Check. Making people
laugh and then a surprise save, a street fight basically enclosed randomly, like just boom,
it happens, check.
They were giving each other the craziest moves.
Like, it was a rough, rough match.
Like, even for me to watch on the outside, I was very much like, ooh, ooh, oh.
Like, it was so fun, exciting, a thrilling, like, little match to have.
And then you think it's over.
You know, Matt gets like carried off by, by medical and referees.
And then we have a surprise tag team come in.
And we love to hate Naya and Lash.
Yeah.
It was all these different things happening at the same time.
It was beautiful.
Yeah.
It was such good writing.
And now you get to work with your husband.
That's so cool.
It's cool.
It's annoying, but it's cool.
We've actually, we've done, we've done some, we've had some serious growth.
We've really had some serious growth.
Hey, that's great.
I used to complain about like the tanner up until about last week.
I complained about the tanner, about the differences and schedules, but we've worked it out.
So it's like becoming easier and easier every single week, which I love.
Well, your house is now complete.
Yeah.
And I know that a lot of the focus on building your house was around Matt's toy room.
So what's in the house for you?
If you ask Matt, he would say the entire house because I, every nut, bolt, handle, trim, color, everything I chose.
That's a lot of decision fatigue, I'm sure.
I love it.
Okay.
I love decision fatigue when it's something that I want.
Like, I loved it.
Oh my gosh.
Ask me about anything, like the plumbing, the well, the septic, anything.
I know it all.
Okay, I know it all. I know where the vents are for the dryer, everything, okay? I love that. I'm such a type A person. I don't collect things. I don't need much. I just wanted something that was beautiful and timeless and reminded me of like when I got off the road, it reminded me of like being in my favorite parts of Europe. So that's what I have. I have my little piece of Europe in Florida.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
When did you guys get to move in?
Well, my builder was like, oh, you know, you can move a few things in December.
So I moved the entire house in by myself without Matt while he was on the road.
Wow.
He came home and the only thing that was left in our old house was a couch and I left a pillow and a blanket and a plastic knife and fork for him to eat with.
And you had to sleep on the couch for like a week and then we moved in and the building.
or had no idea.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Don't give me an inch
because I'll take a mile.
I've heard you talk in other interviews
that you're open to doing a hair versus hair match.
Are you serious about this?
I'm so serious that I pitched it
for both WrestleMania's in Vegas
versus Nikki Bella.
I'll lose.
I'll shave my head.
You'd shave your head.
Yeah, I already have a husband.
I'm not like dating with a shaved head.
Do you know what I mean?
Like, I'm sure you'd look great with a shaved head.
I have a huge forehead.
I would look like a peanut.
But my husband loves me.
And he also was like, yeah, do it.
Whatever, that'd be so cool.
Like, he's such a student of the game.
He would love it.
Like, he would love knowing that I did something that, like, would be history making, right?
Look, if you keep this championship for a little while, this feels like a real possibility.
No, I like my hair now.
Oh, wait a second.
You're backing out of this idea.
Now, I'm the WWE woman's champion.
I'm not shaving my head.
No, I'm kidding. I think I would, but now it was like, I wanted to, I so badly wanted to make the U.S. title something special. I don't know that I was able to do that in my two reins. But I think had I been able to have that feud with Nikki and shave my head, I think it would have cemented the U.S. title as something that wasn't underneath this title. And that's what I was trying to do. I, I, I, I,
I really wanted to people to enter the Rumble and when they win, possibly challenge the U.S. title holder.
Not just the big daddy of it all.
Like, why can't I see in the U.S. title be a part of that conversation?
There's so much possibility then.
Yeah.
So I was just really trying to push for that.
I was trying to push to elevate that title.
I was trying to push to have people care about it, to not have it be second
best and all that. And I wasn't able to do it. And now it's like, this doesn't need that.
This already has so much on the line. Every person that goes for that title, they're already trying
to be the best, right? Yeah, well, they know it's the top of the card. Yeah. And there's just so much
at stake. And whoever has that title, they're going to be on PLEs. They're going to be at
WrestleMania. The U.S. title doesn't have that. Thank God for Tiffany. She brought it to Saudi Arabia.
it saw a PLE, but myself and Zelina and Julia, we never saw that.
Yeah.
We saw some Saturday night main events and that was it.
So, you know, I would, if it called for shaving my head, I would do it.
It's not off the table.
It's not off the table, but I need to be passionate about something to, like, you see,
everyone knows when I'm like a ride or die for something.
They know because I say it a million times over.
Yeah.
You know, right now it's like, let's see where this goes.
Like, where can we take it before I shake my head?
Where do things go with the women's championship when Rio Ripley comes back and claims that
this is her championship?
I know.
And am I the interim or am I the permanent?
Depends on which t-shirt you're wearing, I guess.
Do you see my new t-shirt?
Great t-shirt.
Thank you.
Had that made immediately.
You know, who designed that, my husband.
designs all my shirts.
He has such a good mind for that stuff.
I'm always like, babe, I'm lost.
I don't know what to do, but I don't know where we go.
I mean, I have such amazing chemistry with Ria.
I think she's one of the best wrestlers in the entire world.
She's so talented.
She's so giving.
She's so generous in the ring.
I would love to feud with her.
But we don't know.
We don't know what her timelines.
is. We don't know, you know, how long that's going to last. Someone knows. I'm sure Ria knows.
I don't know. So I, like I do, with everything, I'm just trying to take it week by week.
I'm trying to take what they give me, make it the best I can make it on my days off, book myself,
you know, doing other things, media, taking it places, you know, doing clubs with the Raptors,
like, just anything that I can do to get eyes on it. Like, that's my job right now.
And of course, we all want to be fighting champions.
So I have absolutely continued to pitch.
Like, Lainey wants to talk smack on Busted Open, fight me.
Do you know what I mean?
Yeah.
Naya wants to come out and further injure me after the fatal influence takes me out.
Fight me.
I would love that.
But it's not in my control.
And one thing that I have learned watching Liv's reign, you know, the internet again is going to crucify her for going 100 plus days without defending the title.
But she is doing everything she can for that title.
She is on media.
She is always coming out with new merch.
She is keeping her look like fresh and current and cool.
She's saying the things that are going to be reposted and go viral.
the digital team wants to use, the social team wants to use, she is the star of Netflix and of
raw. And that's what I'm going to hopefully do for my brand. And then I really hope that the two of us
can come together in Saudi Arabia. Crown Jewel. Yeah. You know, like I've never even thought that
that was a possibility. And now I woke up this morning and I was like, oh my gosh, we're going to Saudi Arabia
for Crown Jewel, like, can we have a title versus title match?
Yeah.
You know?
Yeah.
Your hat is so over now.
And by the way, I think you still owe me a hat?
Well, just know that the red, white, and blue one sold out.
So we will try to get you a gold one, but that is, we're on the cusp of selling out.
Jeez.
That's a good problem to have.
What an amazing problem to have?
The Chelsea Green hat has now been worn.
by Randy Orton. It's been worn by Cody Rhodes. Isn't that crazy? What'd you think when you saw that?
It's been worn backstage by punk. That's right. In Scotland, he put it on, I believe. It's been worn by
Steph, Stephanie, Vakere, Vakir. How do you say her name? I think you said it right.
Well, I always second-guess it after Nikki Bella said it wrong that one time. Like, then I question.
Yeah, well, she didn't say it right. But that was incredible. Also, an
incredible Nikki Bella moment. I love that for her. It's, I pushed so hard for that hat.
Like, I'm so proud to have something that is mine that people wear and emulate. And like,
when they, you know, when they want to dress up as a superstar, they can wear that hat.
And it's me, the hat in the skirt. Yeah, female superstar had never had a hat, I don't think.
No. Alexa had had kind of almost like Disney ears.
Yes, that's right.
Yeah, with a bliss thing on it, I remember.
And I thought that was really amazing.
Like, before me, Alexa was the queen of merch.
And I always really, like, thought, oh, I want to do it the way she does it.
And so that was always my goal.
But again, like, there's only so much you can control.
And the cycle of pro wrestling is to get merch.
You have to be over.
But to be over, you have to be booked.
And to be booked, you have to.
be over and to get merch up.
And it's like, you know, I'm messing up the cycle, but it's like, whoa,
and it's hard to get in there.
But you're over because the people love you.
Like you, it's very much the Kofi Mania thing.
It's very much like when Daniel Bryan just like wielded into existence.
Like you're the people's champ right now.
Isn't that crazy?
And I feel it.
Like I really do.
I feel that.
that people are like, no, that's our girl.
And you're going to treat her right.
You're going to give her what she deserves.
And you're going to listen to her.
And I'm like, wow.
I mean, look, the pendulum always swings the other way.
So, like, eventually they'll turn on me.
But for right now in this moment, it's all happening at the right time.
Yeah.
Like, it's just the perfect moment for them to be behind me,
for me to be turning baby feet.
face, like just one day, they were like, okay, well, you can't be heal anymore.
Yeah.
You know, you can act the same, but, like, the crowd is, they've spoken and we can't go back.
Just, it's all very crazy.
And last night in London, Ontario, I heard, I heard the people.
I saw the signs.
Oh, my God, there must have been 20 signs, like Chelsea for Prime Minister, just like the cutest
signs and so many hats. Hats everywhere I looked. I was like, wow. Like, it's working. We're doing
the thing. Canada loves you. And they should because I love Canada. I love, we've talked about this
before. I love pointing out famous Canadians. I love that. Favorite game to play at Christmas with Matt's
family. Yeah? Is let's just keep naming the famous Canadians. And then we get to like the obscure ones.
Oh, there's so many that people don't realize.
Yes.
Like Pamela Anderson.
Michael J. Fox.
Alex Trebek.
Jim Carrey.
Like, there's the obvious ones like Drake or Justin Bieber, Shania Twain,
Berenieged ladies.
Exactly.
Like, I think Pam Anderson should be obvious.
That should be an obvious.
You think so.
But, you know.
Ryan Reynolds is an obvious one.
Yes, but see, with Pam, it's hard because she came from the island I'm from.
Oh, for you, yeah.
Duh.
But.
But then people look at her on base.
watch and go, she's running down the beaches of California.
She's a Californian.
And she's very typical California girl.
Right.
So maybe that one's not that obvious.
She's an island girl.
So am I.
But there's so many.
And then you start to...
Steve Nash.
Right.
Nellie Fretto.
See, those are islanders.
Nickelback.
Corey Montieth, rest in peace.
But then you start to play the game in wrestling.
And it's like, there's so many, right?
Trish Stratis.
Edge, Christian, Jericho.
Kayo, Sammy.
Right. Test.
Like, tornado.
What?
Is there a tornado?
I don't know.
Torado or something.
There was like a Tor twister.
Tor twister, yeah.
Was it Twister?
I don't know.
Literally, Matt's going to be like, oh my God.
It's an older...
Because I thought I was the first person to win a WWE title from BC.
but there's one former...
Oh, I didn't know this.
Yes, back in the day,
one former tornado
to have some sort of storm.
Okay.
But not a hurricane.
Of course not a hurricane.
Then there's the obvious ones
like Bradhart, Owen Hart, Natty,
like every heart.
Every heart in the world.
Yeah, of course.
There's so many.
Oh, it's amazing.
Yeah.
And, you know, that...
Sean Mendes went to my high school.
Stop.
Pine Ridge Secondary School.
I love Sean Mendes.
Yeah.
Matt and I are big,
Sean Mendez, guys.
We love Sean Mendez.
Michael Bublae.
The boob.
How did I...
Oh, my God.
I'm so sorry.
I love Michael Bublay.
I love him.
He was there.
We're friends now because he's a wrestling van.
He's got the greatest family.
Amazing.
His wife's amazing.
His whole extended family came to Survivor Series.
I was trying to think.
I'm like, what one was it?
Survivor Series.
Yeah, in Vancouver.
Yeah.
And, um...
They're amazing. They're such Canadians. Like, Canadians are, it doesn't matter how famous they are.
At the end of the day, when you get them in a room with a beer, they're just your average show.
They're Canadian.
Like, have you found that there's some Canadians that are just Canadian famous and you bring
them up to like people going? Yes. Yeah. So actually, bands too. Yes. There's, that's what I was
going to say. There's a playlist that I have. And I went through it maybe a month or two ago with Matt.
And I was like, you've got to tell me if you know these songs.
Like, they tragically hip are massive in Canada, but like just massive in Canada.
Like, yeah, of course they have fans in other places, but like legendary in Canada.
Alessi Akara is, yes, she like is outside of, but like in Canada, we love her.
Like, we ride for her.
But then you have like niche like Rick the Temp, Rick Campanelli, much music VJ.
Yes.
Yeah.
George Trombolopoulopoulos.
Yes.
I was just trying to think of what.
And Jesse.
Yes, Jesse Khrushank.
Thank you.
We grew up watching Dan Levy, who broke out in America, right?
Yeah.
He was the host of MTV Live in Canada.
Do you remember that song, Summer Girls?
LFO?
No.
Not that one.
Stereos.
The Canadian.
Doop, do up, do up.
Let's make it happen, Shoddy.
I was going to say it.
Doop, do up.
It's got to be now.
Yes, of course.
They are.
like a niche Canadian ban that only we know.
I didn't know that.
Not by choice, another niche Canadian band.
But then, like, Simple Plan breaks out.
Some 41 breaks out.
Yeah.
What do you mean?
Well, like, they're Canadian.
What do you mean?
Simple plan?
Yeah, they're from Quebec.
I'm just a kid.
I had no idea.
No, I love Simple Plan and Sum 41.
You know Some 41, right?
They're from Ajax.
I knew Sum 41 was because he married Aver.
Yeah, Derek.
Yeah, Derek married Averill.
for that.
Avril, another Canadian.
Oh, yeah.
Hello.
For that short period of time or maybe long, I can't remember.
But I did know that, but I didn't know it's simple.
Yeah.
Oh, there's so many.
God, that's going to be perfect for the next Christmas.
And everyone just tuned out of this podcast five minutes ago, by the way.
Yeah, so sorry.
So sorry.
This is what happens when you get two Canadians in a room talking about famous Canadians.
We could do this for ever and ever and ever.
The problem with Christmas when I have, you know, a dirty martini and I get talking about
famous Canadians.

You gotta try breakfast at A&W.
And what better way than with a delicious Pret organic coffee?
Starting with just $1 all day, every day now until December 31st.
You gotta try breakfast at A&W.
I'm participating A&W locations in Ontario.
I've always wanted to ask you, why was your name Jada when you started off as a wrestler?
Just Jada.
Nobody, which is really funny that you see.
said just Jada because my friends who followed me like from the time that I was on the
Indies, my girlfriends, when they would come to shows where it was like just 10 people,
one of their husbands calls me just Jada because he's like, it was the most ridiculous name and
it was just Jada.
Why was that your name?
He texts me, Just Jada.
And I believe I'm in his phone as Jada.
Okay, so it's 2014.
I'm going to Lance Storm School.
I'm working at Cayley's Irish pub.
Lance Storm, another great Canadian.
Period.
Why did we not mention him to begin with?
I should have started with him.
My wrestling dad, I'm working at an Irish pub in Calgary, Cayley's.
So I would go, I would do Lance Storm's class for four hours, and then I would go bartend at Cayley's.
And I was just graduating from Lances, and I had booked my first wrestling show at ECCW.
And they asked me, what's your wrestling name?
And the whole time I had been so excited to choose my wrestling name.
I hadn't actually come up with it.
I was like, oh no, and they need to start advertising.
You weren't thinking about this during training?
I had been, and I never locked it in.
So that was the unfortunate part.
I'd come up with all these ridiculous names.
It's like all year when you come up with your Halloween costume,
it gets to October.
where you don't know what to be.
It was like that.
It's a good analogy.
Thank you.
Because it's coming up to Halloween and I'm panicking.
Okay?
So I was like, guys, like to all the bartenders and the servers at Kaylee's, guys, we need
to come up with a name.
We need to brainstorm.
The only thing I wanted to be named was Dallas.
I loved the name Dallas.
I just wanted to be Dallas something.
And so we just kept coming up with things.
And I made the mistake.
of asking ECCW.
Like, I want to be named Dallas, but Dallas what?
And they hated it.
Essentially, they hated everything I did.
Like, all of it.
Dallas is kind of taken, too, DDP.
Yeah, but I didn't know that.
You think I knew that?
I didn't know what I was doing.
You know, and like they just everything that came up with,
they didn't like my entrance song.
They didn't like the name.
They didn't like my finisher.
Like, all of it kind of.
It was like, I'm sure they were just trying to give me
tough love to like do better, be better. But like, it felt like, oh my, I don't know. I don't know.
They finally said, like, we need to know because we need to put something on a poster. We need to
advertise. And one of the bartenders came to work and said, I went to the strip club last night.
And one of the girls' names was Jada. I said, that's the name. Jada. That's a perfect name.
I love it. Yes. They're like, what about a last name? I'm like, no.
Nope, I like Jada.
One name.
Easy.
Love it.
So that was it.
A stripper in Calgary was named Jada.
Named after a stripper.
And I was on a time crunch.
Isn't that good?
You know, Chelsea Green's a pretty great name.
Thank God.
Thank you, Triple H for letting me use Chelsea.
I'm so lucky.
I am so lucky.
It just makes life easier.
Blur's the line.
but it makes life easier.
It's so great to see you.
Always good to see you.
I love that whether it's been three months or a year,
you've done so much every single time.
What is next?
Like, what are we going to talk about next time?
I don't know.
Three more championship wins, who knows?
You know what we're going to talk about next time?
What are we going to talk about?
How Stephen Amel went to the Baywatch people and said,
She's actually great.
That was just filmed in Bologna, Italy.
With her husband who doesn't know how to read for her,
we should give her another opportunity.
Next time she's in L.A. for a show,
bring her in for an in-person read.
She'll win you over.
Yeah, or like maybe Blumhouse.
Oh, another horror film.
Or Touchstone.
Okay.
Will see me in Red Wedding and say,
that gore was the best, you know, nastiest,
gorious scene of all time, we need her.
Yeah.
This, I believe, is your fourth appearance on Insight.
And every time we have something crazy to talk about.
I think it's the fit, fourth.
Fourth within WWE.
Yes.
I'm not sure about before because everything.
We did one via Zoom in like 2020.
Oh.
Yeah.
So fifth then.
Fifth.
Yeah.
Yes.
Because I've done one in a red shirt, one in a green shirt, one live, and now this.
And now the Raptors gear.
Plus the Zoom.
Five.
Well, then you've answered this question four times before, but I'm sure you have different answers.
What are three things?
I always forget that you're going to ask this.
Okay, sorry.
Go ahead.
Ask me.
Dang.
I always think I'm going to remember next time I'm going to come up with a really.
I love that you still say sorry like a Canadian.
Yeah.
Sorry.
Sorry, I'm going to come up with a really amazing answer.
But unfortunately, no, I'm just going to come off with whatever happens.
So ask me the question.
What are three things you're grateful for today?
I'm grateful for my health because the eye is black, but we didn't need surgery.
I didn't even take a week off work.
Like, how lucky am I?
Yeah.
You know, I'm extremely grateful that the fans have followed me on this.
They never jumped off the bandwagon.
They stayed on through thick and thin, through all the losses, through all the times that I think that they probably thought that this was never going to happen.
They did this.
Like, thank you to creative for booking this.
Thank you to Triple H for booking this.
Thank you to Nick Kahn for allowing me to be the face of the company in this time.
but like this is because the fans fought so hard, reacted so hard, chanted, so hard, bought my merch,
made the signs, went on social media, interacted, did all the things to make sure that I had this
moment.
So I'm very, very, very, very grateful for that and for Unreal for kind of like boosting this
moment, strapping a rocket to this like feeling in this moment.
And then I think the third thing is like, I am so grateful that I'm in this amazing place in my life with my husband where like the next step is going to be to start a family.
I love that for you guys.
Right?
Like we have the house.
We've done the things.
We're growing the bank account.
The fur babies are happy.
My family is healthy and happy.
and like, yes, breaking into Hollywood on my end, I would love for that to happen.
Matt, getting a storyline that fills his cup, winning, you know, the title at WWE, those moments
are amazing.
But like, what we just want moving forward is to start a family.
So I'm grateful that I'm now finally at 35 in a place where I can do it and I'm having those
open and honest conversations with WWE.
So you're okay with you'd be taking a bunch of time, a year-ish off.
But maybe surrogacy is for me.
I don't know.
Like all those conversations are conversations that now I finally feel okay to have.
I would be so scared even last year to have those conversations.
But now, like, WWE is, they've given me so much that it's my duty to be honest with them.
Right?
Like, I don't want to blindside them.
I want them to know that I'm a 35-year-old woman who has all my ducks in a row.
So, and I do want kids.
I just don't know how I want them.
I'm not sure, you know, like, I know.
You've got lots of options.
Yeah, I know I want them.
And I know that, you know, I'm blessed enough to be in a place where surrogacy could be a thing.
But like, if it happens naturally, like, that's amazing.
Well, you guys are going to be great parents.
I love that for you.
Matt better put a lock on that toy room.
Holy cow.
Yeah.
Because the kids are going to love that.
The kids are going to be playing with some $10,000 accent figure.
Putting like, you know, like dude eating the head won't be the problem.
The kids eating the heads and the helmets and the hands will be the problem.
They'll be sticking them up their nostrils and we'll be having to take them out with tweezers.
Like, I can't wait until I get to do that.
It's the best.
Yeah.
Right?
Yeah, it's the best.
Being a parent's the best.
I've already been sleep deprived for 12 years.
Yeah, so it'll change nothing.
Come on.
I've got a handicapped puppy.
Add some kids to the mix.
Okay?
I already don't sleep.
Amazing.
We'll see what happens.
Well, it's always so good to see you.
Congrats on all of the things, personal and professional.
Thank you.
