Ladies and gentlemen, Chris Van Fleet.
All right, welcome back to another one here on Inside.
I'm CVV.
Chris Van Fleet, thank you for hitting play on this episode.
And thank you for making Insight the number one wrestling podcast on the planet.
You know what to do.
Hit a brogue kick on that follow button wherever you're listening right now.
So you don't miss out on new episodes every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Man, this was such a fun one.
Such a fun one. Shamis was an amazing guest for Insight Live in New York City. We did this the Friday
before SummerSlam. If you were one of the many people who were there, I appreciate you. Thank you
for spending your night with us. We laughed. We heard some great stories and we laughed some more.
And Seamus is just awesome. Remember the You Look Stupid Chance? We talked about those.
Burger after burger. That was actually his idea.
He gave that line to Drew McIntyre.
And will he ever win the Intercontinental Championship?
Will he ever become the ultimate Grand Slam champion?
We talk about all of that.
And obviously, it's just a matter of time before he becomes the Interconnell champion, right?
Snap a screenshot.
And tag us, let us know that you were listening to this episode.
Let us know maybe you're one of the people who listened to this episode now,
but you were also there live with us in New York City.
Maybe you'll even hear yourself in the Q&SELMAN.
and a here. But tag us. He's at WWE Shamus. I'm at Chris Van Fleet. Now, please welcome to the stage,
the one, the only, Shamus. You came out to my favorite version of your song. Who else loves
Lobsterhead? Yeah. Me included. I love it. I would have I caught, lads. I love that song.
I miss it. But it's just, that's a, that's a fight for Notre Day. I've thought.
that battle a couple of times and it's been a difficult one to try and push over the line.
But does anyone like my current song?
You can be honest.
I want everyone to be honest here today.
This is an honest conversation we're all going to have, right, Chris?
I mean, yeah.
Just be honest.
So let's set it up here.
Who likes Seamus's, who likes Seamus's current song?
That's like the John Cena reaction.
I was like the Johnson area.
And who likes lobster head?
Yeah.
Are we allowed to call it lobster head?
They call it whatever you want.
Too many limes.
Too many limes.
So many memes.
So many memes.
So many memes.
Did that happen immediately?
As soon as the song came out,
it was shameful thing,
lobster head?
I think Sina con me lobster head or something
or a human jar of mayonnaise or whatever.
They hit a lot of, like,
good, great material with me.
me, you know, I was just like a layout for him for a lot of things. So he enjoyed that part of it.
But yeah, I think he just came over, I think over the year, the first year, it just became,
the memes were everywhere. Too many limes, lobster heads. Yeah, I love that song. I really do.
When Sina's going to say stuff like that, or anybody, did they run it by you first to say,
hey, is it okay if I say this? Oh, I don't know. It's brand new. He's just like, he just,
he went to town. He gets like sink or swim with that guy.
Like when I posted it, you were going to be the live guest here for Insight Live.
There were a lot of burger emojis.
Like, I feel like burger after burger is going to be a thing that follows you your entire career.
Yeah, the old Drew McIntyre line.
You know, can I ask everybody here?
When you have many people here traveled abroad, a lot left the United States and gone, like, anywhere in the world outside of America?
What is the first thing you put in your bag when you leave the country?
Can I ask, what is the thing?
You got your luggage or suitcase.
But what's the thing you need more than anything
when you leave the country?
I think it's a passport.
It's a passport, right?
Someone needs to tell that bleeding big Scottish haggis
that you need a passport
when you leave the country
to get back into the country, you know?
Blame it everybody.
You have to go with the people at the desk.
It's their fault.
True, you forgot your bleeding passports.
What were you thinking?
How did he think he was going to get back?
Yeah, sorry, Drew, I know you're a big, big, huge international star,
and you think that everybody knows it.
You know, here's the story, right?
Well, we're traveling together, right?
We go into, like, the gas station, whatever close to show
or whatever stuff, get some protein shakes.
And he would go in, man, and he would, like,
he put the hoodie on,
and he'd have that big black hoodie
and he was circling around.
I just walk in, like, you know, I think at this state,
I get noticed a lot because, you know,
red hair and the beard off,
but I just like, like, what are you doing, lad?
Like, what are you hiding it from?
There's like six people in the place, but he's all about, like, I just turned around and
one over and go, is that, is that WB superstar Drew McIntyre over there at the fridge?
He said, you're like, yeah, yeah, stop with you.
I'm like, you're not, you know, you're not bleeding Tom Cruise, man, you know what I mean,
as much as you want to be.
Yeah, you can't really hide in a crowd.
Like, you're very recognizable with the red beard.
Oh, yeah, I'm yeah.
I am. I used to think that was a, I used to think the red hair and all that. I used to hate it, you know, when it was a kid. I couldn't tan, couldn't go in the sun. Still can't, to this day. But I used to hate it. But then, you know, it actually became very much of my characteristic and made me very identifiable and helped me stand out from everybody else. You lived in Florida. How did you stay away from the sun? I didn't go out during the day. I didn't. Honestly, I didn't.
You're a vampire.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Huh?
What?
Vampires, yeah.
You're redhead as well, yeah?
A bit dark over there.
Probably perfect place for us to say.
Oh, look at this guy.
Come here.
Come over here now.
Look at that.
Look at that head of hair on this fellow.
What's your name?
That's a lot of hair.
James, nice to meet you, James.
Look at that, dude.
Look at that.
That's a beautiful thing, man.
That's a beautiful man right there.
Look at that.
Be ginger and proud, fella.
Ginger and proud.
Ginger Pratt, I'll with you.
Two people chat with you.
No one else to it, but I'll do it with you.
James should do it too, though.
You should do it with him, man.
Don't even hangin.
See, he just standing up for you there.
Sorry, go on.
Probably only three of you are ginger and proud.
That's pretty much my life story.
When you had the Mohawk, how did you feel about the chance you were receiving?
Do you guys remember the chance?
Yeah.
You don't remember the chance?
the you look stupid chance
sure yeah
don't what
listen if you're going to start a chant
don't don't you have to have confidence in it
you can't just start it
and then go four words in and then just stop
if you're going to commit to it
commit to it let me hear that again
you look stupid
there you go
there you go you know Chris that the great thing about that was
so I I
pissed the brass off on that one
because
I didn't ask for permission, I just did it, you know?
And because I was just kind of like, I think I'd been off with an injury and I just kind of
like felt stagnant.
I'd been that, done that baby face run that people have told you turn on me.
And I was just like, I need something different and cool, right?
So I did it.
And I don't know, I think Vince was pissed big time because I didn't tell him I was doing it,
you know?
But I did all the stuff my beard and all the braids and everything.
and I thought man I'm like
I look I look cool dude
I look badass you know what I mean
I look badass
I look like just like a bleeding ass kicker again
you know I'm gonna go out there
I got out there
I think I attacked was it
there was way just out there right
and I think Wade
Brian yeah the three of them
right there I was going out I'm a bad ass man
people going to go about wow it's good looks
cool you know what I mean
I walked out and then
I was some bullocks in the audience
started a you look stupid chanth
and that was that was there dude
that was it just it just
carried across the whole arena
I was like I was like
this is not what I was expecting this to go
it was not the reaction that I was going to get poor
it was great you know I leaned
I lent into it and it was class
it was fun
but is there truth to like if there's any
reaction, then you're doing okay?
I always said that.
I think it's, if you're not getting any reaction, that's when you need to start worrying.
Oh, thanks very much.
Oh, what did we order?
It's a tea.
Oh, okay, very nice.
With a star or something.
What kind of stuff is a special too?
Yeah.
Yeah, where's the Guinness?
I don't know.
Where is the Guinness?
But, yeah, I think if you're not getting a reaction, that's what you're going to
you got to start worried. I think the fact is that people hate her, love you. Once you get a
reaction, that's what really matters. I firmly believe it. People are, you get a negative
reaction to positive reactions, people are mostly the best and that's all about what we do.
What's been the best pop that you've ever had in your career?
Oh, man. I think the reaction, if you tell me a reaction, I think after the clash the castle
match with Gunter and Wales is incredible.
What a match.
That was, you know, I didn't know.
I was a heel going into that.
I was a heel before that, and I didn't know what to expect from that.
And I went over, and I really didn't know, like, I didn't know how that was going to go, you know?
And at the end, it just was incredible, man.
I got goosebumps.
I was probably the most emotional time in the ring that I've ever had in my whole career.
It was incredible, unbelievable.
You know what I mean?
It was just like, I can't tell you, like.
how much that meant to me.
Why did it get you so emotional?
So I think for the first part of my career,
you know, my career was kind of sullied a lot of stuff that I was,
you know, there was a lot of jealousy around how quickly I became WB champion.
Like when I came over here, this is all I ever wanted to do, right?
I was a kid. And when I came over, I went FCW and I just wanted to,
I gave up a really good job, a life, every mind,
but I wanted to give this the best shot I could possibly give it.
I knew I wasn't the greatest wrestler.
I knew I wasn't the most technical or I wasn't an eye flyer,
but I had a lot of passion for what I do.
I still do it.
In some ways, I feel like I've got more passion now, you know?
And like Steve Keren was there, Dr. Tom,
and I just, when I went in, so I went in my first training day,
I got off the plane, went in to FCW,
didn't jet lagged.
And they had these things called Man in the Middle Drills.
And it had like three rings set up or four rings set up in this kind of warehouse.
It was a public's warehouse.
and like it was like 110 120 degrees in there right
Florida in September and we're like doing these
the guy is starting in the middle headlock takeover
headlock take over then the guy feed out hip toss
so you the guy in the middle would do all the work
but the guys in the corners for
guy in each corner they they feed in right
so then you just swap and swap and swap
but I had my first match
and I thought I knew a lot more than they did
and I got torn apart like they were like
you don't know what you're doing
your timing's off, what you're doing makes no sense, there's no psychology.
So I got literally like, from day one man, I had the legs cut from under me.
So, you know, I was just like, I'm not going to let this happen again.
So, you know, I leaned in.
Dr. Tom Pritchard was a very good mentor of mine.
I started watching a lot of Stan Hans and stuff,
which I think you can still see a lot of my work, Brody,
Bruce are Brody and all that.
Very kind of like aggressive style.
But I just wanted to learn.
And, you know, people, and when I came on the main roster,
obviously I came one of the fastest stuff to be chattie.
of all time. This is a very long way to
answer. I do apologize. But I just wanted
to let you set this tone. So
people went behind me,
created stories about me that weren't true,
undercut me, said it was kissing the hunters' arse,
all that stuff for the workout pudding and all that.
And I felt like for the first couple of years, man,
no matter what I did or matter how hard I tried,
I was constantly undermined
that the hard work I was doing
was not on me. It was
because I was a brown nose.
I was a politician, which I'm
I'm not a lie. I'm not about it.
I'm the first thing from that, you know what I mean?
But like, so I felt for the first part of my career,
I just felt like I was always fighting,
I was always trying to push uphill.
I was fighting an uphill battle.
And it just, then full circle years later in that moment,
it was like, this, this is like,
this is one of the biggest moments of my life.
Like people are actually finally appreciating what I'm doing, you know?
Yeah. Thank you.
But that's, that's, that's what it is, you know?
I mean, the people love you.
Thanks, man.
By the way, congratulations on a million subscribers on Celtic Warrior workouts.
Yeah.
This fellow knows right here.
How old is that T-shirts?
It doesn't wash well, doesn't it?
I've got to get you a better one, mate.
You've got to get a better quality.
The quality's not great.
Well, I do appreciate wearing it.
But also, to Chris Van Valle, who's got over a million now as well on the clips.
Let's go.
Yeah.
This is what we call, like, just, just,
Thank you, Chris.
Don't stop.
Thank you, guys.
See, this is what you call, like just putting each other over.
Just putting each other over.
It's putting each other over.
Who's been the toughest workout that you've had to go through?
The girls are the hardest man.
The girls are the hardest.
They kick my arse.
Huh?
Lira, I almost kill Lira, by the way.
Anyone see that clip of me trying to do the handstand against the wall?
I almost killed that poor girl.
What?
Maxine, yeah.
Oh my God, the yoga stuff.
Jesus, man.
I didn't know what was going.
I thought it was given.
I'd actually know what childbirth is like now after doing that.
Huh?
Lim Morgan the butt stuff.
I bet that was your favorite, was it?
Yeah.
Is that, how many times a day do you watch that episode?
Be honest.
Be honest.
Ivy Nile
put you through it
so
Ivy Nile
right
so
Ivy Nile
is a
can I swear in this thing
you can say
whatever you want
she's a fucking lunatic
she is a sweetheart
but she is
so we did this workout right
she crushed me
and then
afterwards I found out
she had the flu
she had the flu
in that episode
she was dying
of the flu. That's why you can, if you listen to the episodes, you can barely talk, because she's
got the flu, and she still destroyed me, man. Destroyed me. Her, obviously, Becky, then there
was a Zia Lee, is another crazy workout girl, unbelievable. And then, of course, Roxanne Perez
as well. Oh, yeah, you liked that one, didn't you? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I see that. Yeah, the old,
what's the call, the, what's the thing, the twerking, the twerking.
That's working.
That's work.
Have any of you guys practiced twerking since watching that episode, by the way?
Jelly roll.
Did he?
How was it?
It was something.
At 10, what was it?
Really?
Okay.
Man, I'll take a picture.
I'll probably see him later on.
I'll take a picture with you there.
I'll do a video at the end and tell him you get him nine to ten after it's pretty twerking.
Who's the dream guest?
Or who's the person you haven't worked out with yet that you'd love to try their work?
out. I've done a few with Cisaro. I miss that guy, Cisaro. Can we just give it up for Cisaro? Well,
I absolutely love that fella. That guy is incredible in the ring. Incredible. One of my favorite,
one of some of the greatest moments of my career tagging with him. And the best of seven stuff
was insane as well. That was just unbelievable that I happened. Both of us just in a rut, going the best of seven.
in the beginning people
where it was kind of like
they're over it
because we'd already wrestle twice
on Troway matches on Raw
and then he did the best of seven
and then the Yebu stuff
and it was just
it was awesome
did it start out as a best of seven
or was it just
you had a match
then you had another match
and they went
maybe we're on to something here
that's what it was yeah
they had two matches
and they said best of seven
and then we did the first one
I think
did ever the pre-show matches
the pre-show matches
we had a pre-show match at SummerSlam
yeah
Barclays Sparkleys
back the road yeah
Jesus
I need you this
I'm a wrestling historian here
You're an accountant there you
I need a good accountant man
You're good of numbers there I can tell
You're waving at me or you ask a question or
Oh you're a CPA
Wow you guys are grabbed my brain does not work like that
I'm telling you I spend half the day
Walking around the house looking for keys
That I don't even need
Because there's a code in our door
That's my life guys
that's what happens.
So who
we'll do Q&A
at the end.
Oh.
And I should remind
everybody we're going to do
Q&A at the end.
Yeah,
we will.
I'm not in the hurry.
Who is the workout
you haven't done yet?
For most people.
I'm trying to
Roman obviously be a huge one.
That would be a massive one.
Rock obviously too.
Stone cold.
I try to get stone cold
during a mania.
But I guess
he just had knee surgery
or something like that.
But I want to
start doing a lot of the legends now as well.
I look at Sting on there.
Taker.
Taker keeps running away from me, man.
He's been scared of me his whole career, Taker.
He's calling me Stiffy all the time.
He can't, no.
Triple-A, yes, triple H.
We talked about that.
That'd be a great workout.
Stephanie McMahon.
Listen, what really works for me,
if you guys hit, like, just absolutely,
like, blast, spam their,
their Twitter handle of that.
out of it and tell them like you want to see them in Celtic warrior workouts that makes my job so
much easier if you guys just go out there because then it helps me when I go to them and they agree
so spam them guys spam them spam the hell out of them you guys know that when it comes to health
and well-being I'm always looking for an edge and that's why I've been taking mitopure for months now
because I want to be the healthiest version of myself for as long as possible like I want to be
in my 90s and still going on hikes or like still playing with the grandkids or I guess at that point
in time it might be great grandkids. Here's how this works. Mitochondria is our cells power generators.
They're a key influence in how we age. But as the years past, mitochondrial efficiency starts to
decline and it starts to represent this big gap between the quality of life we expect when we're
older and the one we actually experience. One way to think about mitochondrial is like they're
the little Pac-Men in your cells, chomping up the damage mitochondria that make you feel old
and tired, and we're cycling it into new healthy ones. For me, taking mitopure is really helped
with recovering after a workout. I start to feel myself getting stronger with more energy and
experiencing less inflammation. I think it's worth you checking out as well. Timeline is offering
10% off your first order of mitopure. Just go to timeline.com slash insight. That's time.

In the workout you did with CM Punk, I couldn't believe that you said that you like
pineapple on pizza. I think you just turned heel. I think you're disagreeing with you.
Okay. I think they disagree with you. I think they like Pung up.
pineapple on your pizza?
Very mixed.
Very mixed.
I am firmly against
putting fruit on your pizza.
Listen, guys, you gotta get your...
You gotta get your five
fruit and veg in every day, you know what I mean?
It's very important.
It's very important to get your five fruit and veg.
I will tell you this.
I know New York is very, very famous
for pizza. And in Jersey as well,
they've got probably one of the best ones.
Has anyone heard of Raza in Jersey City?
Yeah.
to Jersey City, a place called Raza, it's phenomenal, meatballs, pizza's incredible. But in
Nashville, there's a very famous pizza place called Five Points Pizza, and the one the most,
it's a spicy Hawaiian is just, it's on another level, man. It's, it's great. But listen,
if you don't like to point out, I think you can just pick it off, right? It's not glued on there.
Or not order it, you know, one way of them. Don't order it, yeah. Same for other people who really want
You mentioned winning the championship from John Sina early on in your career.
Walk us through what that day was like for you.
So it was mental because I didn't know what was happening, right?
So a quick story.
I was on ECW.
I just want to give a quick share to somebody here who was, again,
there's been parts of my career which have just like stepping stones, you know,
like this
this part wouldn't happen
about this
when I went to
ECW
I had the
the honor
and opportunity
of working
goldust
um
yeah
I'm
a man
it was
dust
and it was awesome
dude
like we went in there
and we beat
the shit
out of each other
and we just
got into it
dude
and we just
and it was
it was right away
that
that viewed
fella put me
on the map
right away
and I mean
like ECW
for what it was
but
it made everybody in management
everyone who I look around and go like this guy
is like he's not just looks different but he's bringing
a different he's bringing a really
aggressive physical side
and that that goal does feud for me
is just that's that's really up there
as important to my career because if I had to
that had that who knows what would have happened
you know
shaking nuts dirt
so
you know that was huge for me
you know
I forgot what I was going to say
What was I saying?
So we go from there to your championship.
Yeah, so before that, I went to Raw and I had to wrestle Jamie Noble.
And the first Jamie Noble match, Jamie, yeah, Jamie's great.
Still there.
Still there.
I'm still producer.
But the first match we had, we thought it went well, you know.
And then all of a sudden, we get told I shit the bed.
So the match was so bad.
So that's what we had the second match, where to power bomb them on the floor.
Yeah, man.
but the first thing was like I was told like you better bring you the next one or you're going to be dead in the water that's what I was told from from certain people positions you'd be let go no just not let go I didn't say let go but just you know you're just we know what's going to happen next like probably just flow around whatever so it was they hated it so much that I think Patterson really hated it and so it just got back and then I was freaked out and I had to
go to, I need still be
rested shelf in the next night.
And then I had that match with
physical as well. So it was like, all of a sudden
like I'm with a serious pressure.
Then we had the second Jamie Noble match with
power bomb and all. And, you know,
I was a real bump for him to take, you know what I mean? But
we knew we were going to do it. And then
after that, then I got to the races. Then the next
week or two, then I'm in Survivor
series. And then all of a sudden
then I'm in like, then we're going
off towards this break through
battle royal thing. And I'm wrestling John. I'd no idea.
So the day of the day of the day of
TLC, I drove into San Antonio, and I fully expected, I was told I was losing.
And I was in the car with, I think it was in the car, Aaron Anderson and Scott Armstrong.
And Scott was saying like, man, what an upset would be if you won?
And Aaron was like, no, no, it's too early, whatever, too early.
And then all of a sudden got pulled into the room.
And I don't think of everything told the story.
So I could pull into the room and Vince is there and I'm there.
And I'm nervous.
You know, I'm nervous as hell, right?
because I just like all of a sudden I'm coming
WV championship match
you know what I mean like it's crazy
and uh
Vince is like
turned around and me and John are and it's like
uh
John what if we uh
John goes put the kid over
and it's like well yeah
put the kid over and Vince like
yeah no problem
and that was it and he walked out and I'm just sitting there
and all what the fuck's happened
and then when we went out
and man and that was John
though, John right away.
Straight up,
he's like, let's do it.
That's pull it's going to be great.
You've done everything in your career.
You've done everything in your career.
A lot of things multiple times.
You haven't won the Intercontinental Championship yet.
But you've been so close.
So many times.
Yeah, where do you,
which one do you think you were the closest?
Like, where do we feel like it could have happened?
Yeah.
The three-away up mania in L.A., yeah.
That was the one.
WrestleMania 39.
Yeah. Yeah, so did I.
So did I. But it didn't happen. Things change, you know.
But, uh, huh? Thanks, fella. I appreciate it. I appreciate that. I really appreciate it.
It's funny. I got always, I have told this so many of times, but when I first were watching W.E, the IC title was the one title I loved watching because my favorite, one of all time, macho man, was, was IC
champ and it was before the steamboat match and I just loved it man I was big huge macho man
you can you can clap it's okay man I yeah macho man was awesome uh macho man was awesome but like
so you know when I when I got hurt um you know the edge match um I took a took a
bad fall no one's fault by the way just that's what happens in the ring um my neck got messed
up, you know? And I was trying to come back and I was, I remember like, the plan was to come back
at the rumble that year. But when I went into the ring, I was bump and I was getting stingers
on my neck, right? So I was really worried. I thought that was going to be it, you know? I thought
it was going to be done because I couldn't bump. Like I lay there for like five seconds,
10 seconds. I just, I thought it was over, you know what I mean? Because I'd been battling with neck
issues for a long time and I've worked through it and I thought that was it. But anyway, so
the plan was I was going to go back a row.
well it didn't happen and then obviously the whole thing happened where gunter's uh opponent opened up
for mania last year and i was pushing really really hard for that like i was like so much so i think
i was like told to stop tweaking about it and all that you know what i mean because i felt this is i was
like you know if there's ever want to be someone to the troned hunter uh to be thrown gunter after
the match we had at wales the match we had smack then of course the three way at mania i felt like
this is the best this is the best story you know what I mean like we've gone
the matches were classics everyone talks about them all the time
it'd be physical it'd be a great end you know what I mean to the segue for him to go on to do
bigger things and I pushed and pushed and pushed bro I pushed for that match so
hard I was like this is the hill I'm going to die on but of course because of what happened
before my neck and they still weren't kind of sure you know they didn't go that way but
I was like man in another in another reality if something happened different the other
reality and they'd come back early in the room, but maybe that could have been, that could
have been the one regret I have. Like, that matter. That was where I felt like it should
have been me and him and mania last year. It should have been. Like, I just felt like the history
we had, the battles that we had and the physicality and the way we played it out, it would
have been a great ending to that, to that feud. Well, you told me during our last interview,
you just signed a new five-year deal with that interview. Yeah. So you've got lots of time
to make this happen. Yeah, yeah.
yeah hopefully yeah hopefully do man um but uh but yeah listen just for me it was that that story
with gunter that's what it was it was just that story that me and gunter had because in this business
too you can like just certain people that you can have amazing chemistry with you know like
i felt like i had that chemistry with daniel brian i felt like that type of chemistry with yeah man
Brian, sort of breaking that glass ceiling, Brian, Cesarro, Drew, you know, there's certain people
have that amazing chemistry in the ring and I felt like with Gunther that was kind of like,
you just had that amazing, it was like lightning in a bottle, you know what I'm saying, just right
off the bat. People were polluted into it, the physicality.
When you won money in the bank, did you have any idea when the plan was to cash in?
No, no idea.
So when you did end up cashing in enrollment, was that just kind of like,
All right, time seems right.
Happened on the day again.
That was the day of, yeah.
That wasn't a planarine.
That was we're in Atlanta at the time.
And then they obviously Secker-Hurt on the European tour.
There's knee.
And then I'd won the money in the bank.
And then they're obviously having that tournament then.
That was the final, I think, it was Dean against Roman.
So obviously it was like to prolong that kind of thing.
And like Roman really trying to air.
That's why I have to be so close to it and then get taken away from.
So that was again the same day in the inner room discussing it.
And it happened like two hours.
Because I had a match.
We had a Survivor series match where I think came in to me,
me versus three other guys.
I got pretty,
you got Powerbombed a couple of times by Ryback, whatever.
Was Ryback in that one?
Does anyone know the counting there?
Who was that?
He wasn't that one, yeah.
Ryback loves power bombing people, though.
Powerbomb me anyway, and I had to be shoes.
And then that was it.
And then, of course, I came back at the end.
It was, dude, that was awesome, too.
That was a great moment.
People hated Mohawk, Seamus.
They absolutely hate it.
Like really, my mother called me crying when she saw the pictures of me with a mohawk on.
Literally crying, what have you thought to your hair?
What have you done?
No.
Who said that?
Get out of air right now.
My wife wants to speak to you.
How am I joking?
It was a fun time.
I had so much heat, man.
Like, I had so much heat as Mohawk, Seamus.
People hated me.
I interviewed you for the very first time as Mohawk Seamus.
for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles too.
Yeah.
Yeah, Jesus.
I forgot I did that.
That was such a fun role for you.
It was great.
You know, I really feel like me and Gary Anthony Williams
are great chemistry off the bat.
When we first met, we went for a couple of drinks
in the city because we did a lot of film in the city,
and then we just bonded right away.
And I think the chemistry shows.
I think one thing people liked about that movie more
was the Rock City B about characters.
I was like really hoping
to do a spin-off or something,
but it wasn't a B,
but it was so much fun doing that, man.
I really was.
There have been a lot of celebrity moments
in WWE, and you have one of them.
You put Mark Cuban through a table.
I didn't...
By the way, I didn't even know
who Mark Cuban was.
I'm serious.
I didn't.
I came home from...
I'm going from a couple of years, right?
So I don't know.
I don't...
I'm obviously now I'm more invested in American sports, right?
So I watch basketball, I watch American football and baseball and all.
But like, I didn't know anything about who American Cuban was.
So all I heard was like, Harry, this fella has a head of a septomy,
be careful if he don't put him through a table.
He doesn't know.
I'm like, who is this guy?
Just don't hurt him.
He's a billionaire.
And I was like, okay, all right, Grant.
And yeah, that was the story there.
I didn't know, man.
I didn't know who he was.
And then there's a whole thing about that, by the way,
when he pushed, he shoved me to.
the ground. Some of the producers were madder, like, you shouldn't be shoving Seamus to ground,
but like, that's, that's, that came from the top. So when he did that and on, I got up and
and then I put him to the table, it was, uh, it was, it was a fun segment, but I had no idea
who this guy was. I'm serious. I didn't know. Could have been you.
Do you just tell him, tuck your head and you'll be fine? Yeah, I just, what I did was to
protect him. I, like, I held him like, you know, like, uh, I had him like, like, off in toy, and I went in,
So his head was over here and I took the full broke with it.
It's funny that you didn't know who he was.
I didn't know who he was.
I had no idea.
And then I'm like watching Shark Tank later,
I go,
that's the fella I put through a table.
I'm not making that up.
Do you know, here's another one, right?
Nikki Bella got really mad at me one time.
We're in FCW.
And Nicky Bella comes in and this lad walks in,
right?
He's a baseball player for the Yankees.
So as a baseball player come to the Yankees.
Okay, Grant.
We just, again, I'm probably in the country about eight months.
and we're standing in the facility, right, in the drink.
And she goes, this guy, oh, how's my friend?
And I said, hey, I'm Seamus.
He goes, oh, nice to me.
I said, I said, you are?
And he goes, Derek.
Oh, nice to meet you, Derek.
Nice to me, Derek.
Very nice to meet you.
So he walks off.
He comes up to me, goes, she goes, oh, my God, Seamus.
Oh, my God.
Why did you do that?
I said, do what?
She goes, why did you say, what's your name?
because that's what you do when you need someone for the first time.
You ask them what your name is.
And she goes, I said, that's Derek Jeter from the Yankees.
And I said, all right, yeah, grants.
Cool.
Okay.
How am I supposed to know that?
Like, so she was curious with me.
Because she said I made her look.
I didn't know what it's left.
I don't know what he was.
I don't know any about baseball.
I saw a Babe Ruth movie when I was 12
with John Goodman.
That was basically it.
And Feel the Dreams with Kevin Costner.
I saw that one as well.
But I did the gentleman?
I can lash down for no reason.

Hosting the World Cup on the home soil comes with its pressures,
but we're just really excited just as the people are.

Follow and listen on your favorite platform.
You mentioned his name earlier, and I loved your match with Edge.
Thank you.
Nice, man.
Thank you.
and for me being Canadian, for me being from Toronto,
that meant even more to me.
Like Edge is somebody that I grew up watching
and that was in the arena that I went to as a kid to watch Leaf Games.
How did you get bestowed the honor of being Edge's last WWE a match?
It was a huge honor for me.
So we tried to tell the story to promo,
but I met Edge when I was working as a bouncer in the club called
the East Boredello, right?
they came in for a show i think it was oh two this before i went to the monster factory or was after
maybe i try to figure out like it's a long time ago but he came in anyway and um i was working and uh
that got off early because i was everyone knew he was a huge wrestling fan anyway i walked up whatever
i asked offered to buy me guinness and he bought him he was like no no no i'm gonna buy you guinness
so he bought me a ginnis and chat a little bit it was cool um very cool moment um so that's
how we knew and then obviously he came to fcw
when he was coming back from the injury.
I think the one,
just before he went back at the chamber
or whatever it was,
when he was the cameraman.
Was that the one?
Helenusel.
Hell of a cell.
Sorry,
yeah.
So he could take you.
He worked out with a Undertaker.
Is that right?
He was Undertaker, yeah.
But he's center.
So basically we hit it off right then.
But yeah,
it got on great, man.
You know,
obviously he was cut short
when you had to retire.
But we stayed in touch.
They had a great rapport with him.
And then, like,
when we,
when I was doing the channel, he was off,
and I was one of them on the channel,
I was like, can I come up and do the channel?
And he was like, cool, he just wanted to get in shape.
So we got in shape, and then we did two days of workouts.
We did the physical workout in his awesome gym that him and Beth have.
He was an amazing house in Asheville, North Carolina.
And then the next day we did mountain biking.
That's when he actually fell off the bike and realized his shoulder,
neck was fine.
And that's actually, that was a catalyst to him coming back into the ring.
That's crazy, right?
That's crazy.
I had the footage on,
We had GoPro's on, right?
I had a GoPro on.
He had a GoPro on behind him.
He just took off, showing off, right?
I was trying not to follow my ass because I was like,
I've been a bike in years, so I'm trying to follow him,
and I got the clip of him going over at London,
and he felt his neck was fine.
The greatest part about it is you go,
are you all right?
And he goes, yes.
And you can see the wheels turning of like,
if I can fall off a mountain bike, I can wrestle.
So you guys just being great friends,
it was like, okay, this lines up for you to be his last
WWE opponent? Yeah, but he didn't know it was going to be his last
WB opponent. I didn't know anyway. And the thing was we talked about
doing a feud, you know, because he wanted to, like, he was
hearing on his own terms, the way he saw it was, he's here an extended time.
And he, you know, every match, every show is a blessing, right?
That's like when you're retired, you get second chance.
That's kind of where you're at. I was kind of at the same thing with my neck.
Like, it's like, when I got the oblation done, I came back.
Like, that's why I go out there. Every match is a blessing, fella.
every time I go out there is a blessing for me to do that.
You know what I mean?
Because I thought it was dead and buried with my career.
That would have been okay.
If that was the case, that's fine.
But when you have that chance, you want to do it.
So he said he wanted to wrestle me because he wanted to put on a match with me.
It was something you wanted to do.
We'd never wrestle before in a singles match.
So we pitched an idea for a storyline, but it didn't materialize, it didn't happen.
And I guess I think the match in Toronto was coming up,
it was last of his current schedule matches.
and then I guess it just came around
I got the phone call to do it
and I was like let's do it
we had like a couple of promos or something before
and we tore it up it was awesome
that's such a great time
an absolute banger of a match
thanks fella that's easy with him
easy that makes me think
what is the origin of banger
after banger after banger
don't stop there come on
maybe you got a
banger after banger after banger
After banger, after banger, after banger, after banger, after banger.
Thank you.
That's it.
That's me.
That's me in a nutshell, man.
That's it.
That's what I don't do.
I don't go out there.
I try and go out there.
I don't care if it's a raw.
I don't care of Smackdown.
I go out there and I want to treat it whatever time I have as a WrestleMania moment.
I want to go out there and put the best match I can on because that's who I am.
That's, as an Irish lad growing up, an opportunity to do this.
I can't leave that ring.
No, and I haven't given me heart and soul, blood, sweat and tears for every moment I'm out there.
Because that's all, that's all.
That's all. That's what you all deserve, man.
You deserve that.
Like, you come to these shows.
You show you support.
You know, you wear the T-shirts.
You bring your belts out proudly.
Like, I'm never like, you know, like, you've seen fans go out there with the belts and stuff and all
because they're proud to be WB fans.
They're proud to be in that arena.
They're proud to be part of this.
you know, when I was a kid growing up, people like slagging it off at that fake shite and all that.
You know what I mean?
Well, first of all, watch my matches.
There's nothing fake about, I'll tell you that.
And two, with the most loyal and amazing fans in the world.
And like, everybody here, you know that.
You're aware of that stuff of pride.
You're going to Somersad.
You know what it is, the storyline, you're invested in the characters,
you're vested in the people.
And that's what it is.
There's no us without you.
Like, I heard it say people might say,
that in a cliche way and I'm getting a bit emotional about this because it's true. There is none of us.
If you're not there, who are we performing for? Who are we getting this opportunity for? It's for
you, for all of you. It's amazing. It's amazing. It really is one of the most hardcore, like,
just passionate fans I've ever seen in my life. And I've been on both sides of it, man. I've been
hated, I've been loved, and like, it's part of that journey, man. And like, look, I walk away
with this, whenever that is, four more years, I'd like to go through the wheels come off, I know that,
and again, like, after what happened last year, it's a blessing. But, like, the thing is, like,
giving me the opportunity to go out there and perform and do that and the reactions.
And, like, even when I fucking ain't those 10 beats, man, and everyone's just counting and then
setting up for the progue and everyone's like, it's like, it's just your energy,
is your energy and noise
and just who you are, it defines us
what, make it so fucking special.
I love
the passion. I love it so much.
When people think of
Seamus, there's two words that
immediately come to mind. We just talked about
Bangor. The other one you've said a bunch of times
already tonight. Ginger bastards.
No, is that the one? No.
I think a lot of people in here have called
1-800 fella.
What do you remember from filming those spots?
I remember not being the end of my baby face run.
Ah, I could see it happening.
I could see it happening, man.
And I was just like, oh, bro.
I was bro kicking trees.
I don't know who came up with that idea, dude.
I don't know who came up with that idea.
I know like Vince is really excited about it.
This is great.
This is going to make you a super baby face.
I'm like, no, it's not.
No, it's not.
No, it's not.
You help some choking guy.
You help someone with the hiccups?
I broke, kicked the tree and got a cat out of a tree on the stage.
What else did I do?
There was a hiccup thing.
That guy was choking at dinner.
Yeah, the brokick thing.
And then, so the tree did the hiccups.
What else was there?
Was there a phone box or something?
I don't know, man.
I don't know. I think I blocked it out of my memory.
That's PTSD as well.
That is a lot of PTSD.
I just, I remember watching them on the, I remember being at Raw.
I just watched them going, oh my God, how is this?
I'm like looking at the crowds.
One thing that John's seen all these does.
It's very smart, actually.
You learn a lot from them, but like before the show starts, he sits in guerrilla area.
Outside guerrilla, there's like a table with a,
with a monitor, right? So you can see the show. So Gorilla doesn't get too crowded.
And he sits in the chair and he looks as people pile in. Like, so it's a hard camera, right?
So, you know, if you guys don't wear the hard car. So if you get on the ramp, the hard camera's on the right.
And it films the ring, but the films, you get a lot of people behind it, right? So that's,
so he'll sit there and he'll watch, like, like, who's coming into, sitting in the front row,
and watch the T-shirts to wear. And he'll watch, like, they'll watch the first match and see how to react.
and so he's already figuring out what's working
and what's not working on the show.
That's who he is, man.
He's dialed in all the time.
So I did the same thing
with the kind of 1-800-thous thing
and I was just like,
yay!
It's me, Seamus.
Yay.
Bella!
Let's go.
Forget your thought of In-Yeth.
Two segments ago.
It's grunts.
I like that one.
That was good.
I brought that one back.
You know what I loved recently was this.
Oh yeah.
That turned into a meme.
Punk texts me right away after that one.
He goes, dude, you don't know what you just started.
He's like, you didn't know.
I was like, I know.
Literally, we should talk about that.
How about me almost falling off the time?
actually falling off the top rope, but somehow landing on my legs like a cat. By the way,
if you ever see me in the house, I post a video, right? I've got three rescue dogs at home we have
four. I love dogs, but thank you. Love them. Dogs are animals, cats, dogs amazing. We,
my wife worked for National Humane Association for years and I worked for by the way in the city, right?
Like animal shelters, love them, right? But I've chased the dogs around messing and like,
I've fallen on my ass so many times. I've slipped down the stairs.
like I broke plant pots and everything you know I just I'm just two left feet man you know
but like so but somehow that night when I fell off the top I landed on my both feet like a cat
I don't know how that happened if that was in my house I definitely would have landed on my ass
but you know I got back up there I did it and then I was like I leaned into it that's another
thing too man I feel like the last couple years I used to take myself so seriously
I used to take myself so seriously,
be so stressed about things that didn't matter
and little kind of nuance
and little things that just don't matter.
Now if something goes wrong,
it's an opportunity for me to lean into it,
have to crack and make a joke about it.
I think that's the most important thing.
Because everybody does,
we all have been crazy stuff.
We all mess up, right?
Don't we? We all do.
Obviously, we'll never tell anybody.
Yeah.
I just top of Newmoy on national television.
I'm going to ask you the question
I asked you at the end of our last interview.
this of everybody at the end of the conversation. What are three things, Seamus, that you're
grateful for right now, because gratitude is such a huge part of my life. Three things I'm grateful for.
I'm grateful, very grateful, for my wife and family, man. I, uh, she, uh, my wife's been amazing,
dude. She's like, she's like a rock, dude. She, uh, he's always there for me when I need her.
she also never lets me get a big head.
She's very quick to put me in my place.
You know what I mean?
I never get carried away.
And my family, of course, in Ireland,
and my sister's over here for a month.
She's school teachers.
She'd be spending the moment.
It was so amazing.
And my older family back home,
my sister, my nephew and niece,
my dad, my mom, my stepmom.
Just unbelievable.
I miss them so much because I'm not there all the time,
but they're amazing.
That's definitely the first thing.
The second thing I'm very grateful for is,
I'm grateful for a lot of things, man.
Three really bookers.
But the second thing I'm really grateful for,
obviously, is the fact I get to do this again
when I thought it was all over about a year ago,
a year ago.
And lastly, I'm grateful to all you for showing up
and showing me you guys still care.
And for all the support and the love you guys to send.
It's amazing, guys.
Thank you.
And I really mean that like, sometimes I had like, you talk about PTSD.
It's not like, I mean like, man, what if only two people buy tickets and no one else?
You know what I mean?
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like the fact that you guys are amazing, like, it just makes me realize and remind me of why I'm doing what I'm doing, you know?
So thank you for that guys.
Thank you, man.
Thank all you.
I should be thanking you.
I should be thanking you because you guys had given me the platform, man.
I already should be thanking all you because you guys had given us the platform.
Do you want to talk about the other thing with Drew I talked about in the background?
Oh, yeah.
Do you want to bring that up before we get to the Q&A?
Yeah, because I don't know he's going to hate it, right?
But I might as well just...
Yeah.
You guys want to hear Drew McIntyre story?
I want to bring it up?
Yeah.
Who came up with burger after burger?
So, I wasn't happy with the way I came back.
After the whole thing happened, when I got...
When I tried hard for the Gunter match, it didn't happen.
I kind of like just said, I don't give a shit anymore.
So I'm going to eat what I want.
and not really work out.
So I kind of just didn't care.
And when I came back with my new biker shorts,
it didn't look booty shorts, yeah, pretty shorts.
It was not good.
I got absolutely slaughtered online.
I mean, slaughtered.
But the person was like, oh, my God.
I was like, oh, no.
And I was like, oh, hey, well, fairness, yeah.
I did kind of
you know
I did kind of like to go
party like it was the end of the world
so
so anyway
so I led into it
you know what I mean
it was great
but so for the promo me and Drew did
the burger after burger
light I'm probably gonna
like well they already did that
what's that show on W.E.
now behind the scenes
Unreal
so I'm going to give you my own
unreal moments
that was like
I gave Drew
the Burgh
burger after burger line.
Yes.
Huh?
You just wanted to own it?
Yeah, because I was going to lean into it.
I was like, he was like, dear, I didn't, I didn't say that.
I was like, yeah, yeah, I want you to say it, man.
It's, it's, it's everywhere, bro.
It's everywhere.
It's like, have you not seen Twitter in the last seven days?
I was like, have you not seen?
I'm getting slaughtered.
So I gave him the line of his career.
And you know why?
Because that's what it is, fella.
It's entertainment.
That's what it's about, right?
I love that.
What a story.
All right, we're going to open it up to Q&A here.
Before we wrap things up, if you've got a question, shoot your hand up in the air.
Jamil has going to run around here with it.
Oh, thank you.
Now we can see everybody.
I love that.
What's your name?
My name is Christian.
Hey, Christian.
Hey, how you do?
I just want to say thank you, Chris, for everything.
I listen to you all the time on at work and at home and stuff with that.
I appreciate it.
Man, thank you so much.
Seamus.
funny question i got a mount rushmore question you're a mount rushmore of european wrestlers
uh chris you can do it you can have your version as well if you want but uh just want to say
shamus you're on mine and not just to say because you're here but you're on mine
thanks but uh thank you man i mean that means a lot to me i really appreciate that fella uh
so i'm i'm not going to go with current european wrestlers because i just
feel like, I don't
want to do, we're still wrestling, so I feel like
we should always go, we're doing Mount Rushmore,
we should go people who, like, talent that was
there before, I watched, so European
would have to go,
fiffingly for sure.
You guys have
no, I mean, you probably do, but this,
like, he is one of the greatest
of all time. The mind that fella
has, he's been pivotal in my
career, like, like, just
to iron his respect, you have to do so
much because that's the type of person.
deserves to, like, you need to come to a certain level for him to get garnered his respect
because he's done at all.
He's unbelievable with a new talent as well.
I miss him on the main roster.
Fifth, Philly, it's incredible.
William Regal, another guy I traveled with.
Funny story about William Regal.
He called me up when I was going on the road.
I got the call to go up on the road and Regal texted me.
He said, yeah, I hate you coming up on the road scene.
He said, as he talks.
I said, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, sir.
He goes, wow.
I'd be happy to give you some advice
you'd have to be
travel with you
I was like
yeah I'd be honored
so I was like okay
I was going to stay at marats
and stuff
on Fairfield Inn
he's very hard
you have to read you listen
there
so again no problem
so I drove him around
for basically six months
he gave me advice
but he had an incredible
ability to fall asleep
for the whole
car ride
just five hours
so basically
I was just so
a chauffeur for six to eight months.
So he got me.
Darren is the best dude.
But I learned a lot from it.
But Regal, then I'll have to go British Bulldog, of course.
British Bulldog.
And then I'm going to go with, I'm going to go Robbie Brooks side as well,
who I wrestle a couple of times.
With the old school guys.
That's a great Mount Rushmore.
Right here, yeah.
What's your name?
My name is Omar.
And I have a question for Seamus.
you said you loved working with Cesarro over the years
and doing the best of seven series.
This Monday you have a match coming up with Roussev.
Will we ever see you and Roussev
in a Best of Seven series?
Are we two in already?
Or three?
I'm two.
I'm up for that fellow.
I'm up for anything, me.
I'm up for banger after banger.
I will...
Listen, everybody knows.
I love the physicality of what I do, man.
I love it.
And, you know, if, you know, if that's what they decide, we'll make it.
We'll do the same thing again.
We can go there.
Like, it's no doubt, there's no doubt in my mind, two Europeans beating a shout out of each other.
It's great TV.
It's physical and it's enjoyable.
And, you know, he's come back and, you know, we haven't had too much of a story,
but our story is mostly in the ring.
And I think it's basically been, hopefully, it's been living up to people's standards.
I hope it has.
Yeah
That'll be nine matches though
I mean or 10
But listen I love going out there
What's that?
Are there beeping?
Am I imagining a beeping?
No, you heard it.
Oh, all right
I haven't got to let it.
Yeah, but I'm well up for that dude
I'm well up for at best of seven
I'll be 700%.
We got one more right over here.
What's your name?
My name is Derek Owens.
I'm from Baltimore
four hours away.
Hi, Derek.
I wanted to ask, besides your first one, because that was most important, what was your
favorite championship win of your career so far?
So I believe you're going to get that Grand Slam championship, of course, but so far.
So, yeah.
Ultimate Grand Slam champion is the goal I've had, like, the deal for the last five, six years.
Oh, I think the tag titles that me and Cizaro did when we beat New Day.
that was huge
because that really cemented
what we had done together
like we come close before
but when we beat them
especially with that fake tag
with Cizaro
that people were like
were fake tag
we got the win
that was huge for us
and now they're obviously
they're the longest reigning
tag champs of all time
so are they still
no no
Oos beat him right
yeah yeah
but that would
that would be up there
100%
I love that man
I love him dude
I here's a quick one
with Cizaro right
we wrestle
the Hardys, right?
Are we okay in time?
Yeah, I think two more questions.
Okay, brookane time, though.
Are they kicking us out?
Is your curfew or something?
Is anybody going to Smackdown tonight?
Okay.
Oh, okay.
Are you going to see Seamus at Smackdown today?
Dark match,
dark match specialist.
So,
so, yeah, so we had the match with the Hardies.
It was the, it was the,
no, was it the one where,
what's the Iron Man match, right?
Payback.
Oh, that's, my God.
Are you sure you don't want to get a job at WWE?
What a historian.
A historian.
Total historian.
So anyway, so I left the room, right?
We had come back and I come back, come back into the room,
treat them or there.
I had to go and do something.
All of a sudden, I'm taking the last three pinfalls or something in the match.
I'm like, Tony, what, how did this happen?
He goes, oh, well, it was just the way it happened, you know,
the way the chips lay, and all.
I was like, thanks, Tony.
So I'm taking three finishers back to back.
And he's laughed at me.
Yep.
So I miss them, dude.
Yeah.
Classic Cesaro.
Right over here?
Okay.
What's your name?
My name is Jordan.
Hey, Jordan.
First of all, thank you, Seamus.
It's nice to meet you, and it's been great to listen to you.
My question would be, based on what we have seen from WW Unreal, versus what you've experienced doing these talk shows,
what do you feel about like what we see versus what they've showed us
and what you get to show us first-hand in shows like this?
Well, for shows like this, I feel, that's a great question, more than a way.
For shows like this, I feel like, I just want to have a conversation, right,
without getting any heat.
You know, don't what I mean?
That was a little joke, sorry.
I'm great at getting heat.
But no, like, I just want to like, this is more of a conversation, you know what I mean?
The Unreal thing is something they're doing.
I think it's getting a very mixed.
it's getting a lot of like people involved in it.
Some people like it, some people don't,
but pull back the curtain a lot.
For me, I don't know how I feel about the current being pulled back too much.
There are moments that I have,
whether it's before the match or after the match,
I kind of just like to keep for myself
and people I'm in the match with.
That's just me, you know?
Everyone has a different opinion on this.
But for me, just maybe being a little bit old school on that,
I just feel like I just,
I kind of like, this stuff here is great, you know?
It's a conversation.
I'm telling stories about my career.
They talked about different things that happened,
and we're in this environment.
But at work and stuff, for me,
I kind of like just a little bit of, like, you know, privacy before and after those matches.
That's my take on it.
But again, everyone has a different idea on that, you know.
It's people like different things.
That's just me.
All right.
K-fame, Chad.
This is our final question.
It's a Seamus 515 shirt over there.
Look at that, baby.
Look at that. Look at an old school.
I swear I wasn't ripping off Austin to that one.
This is our final question right here. What's your name?
Eulini.
Hey, Yulini.
Oh yes, you got it.
You got it.
How are you?
All right. I'm wonderful. Thank you, Seamus. Thank you, Chris, for doing this.
Thank you for coming out. It's all this is about here. He's the one to organize.
By the way, can I just say something?
Can I just say something about this fella?
No one has a bad word to say about this man at all.
Everyone jumps the chance to do interviews with him.
Seriously.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Stuff wouldn't happen without him.
And also, you took a lot of risks to do where you are, to get to where you are now.
That's what life is.
But taking risks, it's definitely outside your comfort zone to bring you where you are now.
That's cool.
All these people appreciate you.
I love you.
Thank you and thank all of you.
But what we've got our questions?
Yeah, for sure.
Yolini.
Your moment then.
God. I'm going to pass out. You said my name correctly.
Three times, Yulini.
Thank you.
No, like, Handy, is that what you say it in the mirror five times?
And Dunini comes out and...
I appreciate. I'm also a Bloody Mary secretly.
Okay. So, Camus, you signed to WWE almost 20 years ago.
And, which is awesome, right?
20 years. Okay.
I don't feel old at all.
I know. I'm sorry.
That's okay. I'm just open.
If you were able to go back in time to when you were just,
signed, what advice would you give to young Seamus, even though you're still young?
What a question to end on, too. I love this. Thank you, you, Lee.
That is a great question. Uh, I just know, if I went back in time and told myself,
I was too stubborn until this and I need anything, so I probably wouldn't do take my own advice.
I would just say that stop taking yourself too seriously. Stop getting stressed out about things
that don't matter. Enjoy the moment.
enjoy all the moments like be in the moment enjoy every day that every opportunity and every
experience that comes towards you because and this is great advice for anyone who wants to do
anything at all outside the ordinary whatever we tend to be so caught up in not messing up and not
and doing the wrong thing that we miss we don't we're never in the moment you know what I mean
like so we're never like experience what's happening in front
of us. And I see it too, a lot of the new talent that comes up from NXT or whatever.
They're nervous. And it's only, it's human nature to be nervous. It's normal. But, like,
they're not really enjoying the experience of being in that ring. They're just trying to get
true without messing off. I'm true to make the mistakes. But anyone I get the advice is just
cherish at all, because you just never know when, if that's the last or not, you know.
And even when I won my first W title,
I didn't, and just so like that match is a blur.
The match with Hunter at Mania 26 is a blur
because I was just so like,
don't mess up, don't make any mistakes.
Don't like, you know what I mean?
Don't, don't eff off.
Like, it's like, I, I, I,
the whole thing is a blur.
So be in the moment, enjoy everything that happens,
cherish you.
Because it'll only come around once.
There you know.
That's such great advice.
What an amazing story.
What a night here tonight.
Thank you guys so much for being here and enjoying Insight Live with us.
Thank you guys.
Give it up one last time for the future Hall of Famer, Seamus.
Well, there we go.
Thank you for joining us for this episode of Insight Live in New York City.
What a career Seamus has had 16 years in WWE, and he's done it all.
every championship except for the IC title for now.
I'm sure that's just months or maybe years away.
But he's not at all, King of the Ring,
Royal Rumble winner, Money in the Bank.
When he wins the Intercontinental Championship,
he will be the first and only ultimate Grand Slam champion.
Oh, it's true.
Look it up.
I know we haven't officially announced it yet,
but it's looking like we're doing the next Insight Live
in San Diego, the Friday before Survivor Series.
Mark it on your calendar now with a pencil.
Not a pen just yet.
You can put it in with a pen or a Sharpie when we announce it,
which will hopefully be soon,
and I can't wait to see you there.
Snap a screenshot and tag us.
He's at WWE Shamus.
I'm at Chris Van Fleet.
And we'll wrap this up with a quote from Jim Rohn.
Excuses are the nails used to build a house of failure.
Cool.
That hits hard.
