It's just for a minute I'd fall asleep and not.
I don't know what.
Hello and welcome to Investigator Earth Podcast.
I'm your host, Shad, alongside my beautiful wife, Sherry, on tonight's episode.
We're here with very deeply troubling and very somber report.
Just moments ago, President Donald Trump confirmed the tragic death of conservative activist
Charlie Kirk.
According to Trump, Kirk was fatally shot in a neck while speaking at Utah Valley
university earlier today, September 10th, 2025.
This devastating incident occurred during his appearance as part of the American
comeback tour and the fatal injury left him with no chance for survival.
Eyewitnesses reported a single shot fired from a building approximately 200 yards away
from where Kirk was speaking, widely believed to be the Lossley Center Rooftop,
and after which he collapsed and was quickly taken to the hospital where officials later
confirmed his passing.
The emotional and political fallout has been swift and widespread.
leaders across the political spectrum condemn the attack.
Former President Trump mourned Kirk as a legendary figure who deeply understood
and mobilized American youth.
Vice President J.D. Vance, Democratic figures including Governor Gavin Newsom and
former Vice President Kamala Harris and others across party lines expressed shock, sorrow,
and United Condemnation of Political Violence.
Utah Valley University has shut down his campus, suspended classes, and authorized law
enforcement to evacuate or shelter in place as they continue a joint investigation with
the FBI and the ATS.
initial reports about a suspect in custody have been dispelled.
Authorities now confirm no one is currently in custody and the search continues.
Charlie Kirk, just 31 years old, rose to prominence as a co-founder and CEO of Turning Point USA.
An organization that became a formidable force in conservative youth engagement nationwide since its founding in 2012.
He was a vocal and divisive figure, influential and mobilizing young voters and stirring national conversations through both activism and media platforms.
His wife, Erica and their two young children were reportedly present at the event when the shooting occurred.
The shock of this attack extends beyond the political realm.
It's tragic.
It's absolutely devastating.
And this is going to be hard.
I'm not going to lie to you guys.
This is going to be a very hard episode.
It is right now 5.05 p.m. on September 10, 2025.
I believe that we actually got this report probably a couple of hours.
hours ago from one of our listeners and when I actually saw the text, I didn't believe it.
I actually thought that someone was just, you know, posting some crazy stuff online.
And then obviously we turned to the Fox News.
We saw Charlie Kirk was talking at the Utah Valley University campus, which is just outside
of Provo, Utah, which is where one of our good friends lives.
And he was actually kind of traveling around this area during the time.
So there was FBI.
There was kind of everybody, you know, going to the.
seen. Charlie Kirk was doing what he always does. You know, he goes to college campuses. He
debates people. He, um, he is a voice of reason. He is someone that, look, although he is very
staunch in his opinions and his beliefs, uh, he was at least one that would allow people
on the microphone to give their opinion and their beliefs and discuss it like people were
supposed to do in America, you know, without violence. And Charlie Kirk was never fearful of what
may come. Um, you know, and that's one of the things.
guys is that, you know, when you're in this space, when you're in the influencer space,
or you're in the space like Charlie Kirk to where Charlie Kirk and Tourning Point USA was so pivotal
in just the drive and the push going forward with conservatives and Christianity and everything
that Charlie and Turning Point did for our country.
When the left and the Democrats were desperately trying to destroy our youth, destroy the people
in our high schools, even starting in elementary school and middle school.
and then of course on college campuses where so many people often wonder is it even worth going
and sending your kid to campus or to college anymore because all they're going to do is they're
going to leave college campus and they're going to be indoctrinated with some type of weird crazy left
ideology so what charlie kirk and turn to point USA did was they would travel across college campuses
all over the united states and they would go and they would stand up and and talk to the youth
And listen, a lot of the times that these youth would come to talk to Charlie Kirk, they would have all these very rich, idealistic opinions based on what they learned in college and what they learned from their far left professors.
Charlie would try his very best to win them over with logic and fact.
And this was something that Charlie did so well.
And yet he was fearless.
You know, he was fearless in a way that if you are speaking in front of that.
many people also knowing how many people out there really truly hate your message.
He still did it.
He still did it with the risk that he knew he was taken.
Just like at Utah Valley University, it's not very easy to lock down a campus or to get
checkpoints going in when you have that many people showing up for an event.
And that was like one of the largest campuses.
It is in Utah.
Absolutely.
You think about BYU.
Everybody's heard of Brigham University.
But actually I was talking to Nathan.
Yeah, Utah Valley University is the biggest university.
in Utah with over 40,000 students, I believe, don't quote me on that.
But this is going to be very hard.
It's going to be a very, very hard episode to get through.
We're going to give you everything we possibly can, the updates and all that.
And just to go ahead and play, this is the latest from Fox News right now.
We're going to just listen to it with you guys.
See what the very latest is as of 5 o'clock p.m.
Here you go.
Fox News Alert and welcome to the 5.
President Trump just announcing that Charlie Kirk has died.
after being shot at an event in Utah for his Turning Point USA organization.
The president said,
The great and even legendary Charlie Kirk is dead.
No one understood or had the heart of the youth in the United States of America better than Charlie.
He was loved and admired by all, especially me,
and now he is no longer with us.
Melania and my sympathies go out to his beautiful wife, Erica, and family.
Charlie, we love you.
You will have everyone on the five's reaction in just a moment, but let's get you caught up on the news with the latest.
Jonathan Hunt joins us now. Hi, Jonathan.
Hi, Dana. A tragic scene unfolding on the campus of Utah Valley University in Aram, Utah.
That's about 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City, where Charlie Kirk was holding an event,
the first event of what was called the American Comeback Tour.
at about 1220 local time. Charlie Kirk was sitting underneath a small tent in an outdoor air of the campus, a sort of amphitheatre, buildings facing him, about 100 to 200 yards away. He was addressing a crowd that looked to be up to a couple of thousands strong. He had been handing out baseball caps, smiling with the crowd, talking to those who had come to eagerly see him and listen to.
his words. And then in video we have seen, but are not showing for very obvious reasons,
you hear after Charlie Kirk sits down behind a desk underneath that small tent, you hear a single
shot ring out. It appears to be from some sort of high-powered rifle, clearly shot from a
distance. And then in one particularly gruesome video, you can see the bullet strike Charlie
Kirk. It appears to hit him directly in the neck. You see a gush of blood. And then obviously, as you can
imagine, the crowd running in every direction, absolutely terrified. We have seen pictures of Charlie
Kirk then being carried away by people to be, who appear to be security guards, not in uniform.
There are obviously going to be questions about the security that was in place there. But this was,
as Jason Chaffetz was saying, who was there on.
seen an outdoor event in a conservative part of a conservative state. It's a very crime-free
city, Orham. I know it well personally from family connections there, and nobody expected
anything like this. It is a dreadful scene there now. The shooter appears to still be on the
run at this point.
Somebody was taken into custody earlier.
We saw that on video, appeared to be a more elderly gentleman.
As we understand it, Dana, that man has now been released from custody and had nothing
whatsoever to do with the shooting.
So there is obviously very much now an urgent manhunt underway to find whoever carried out
this shooting.
And from the way it played out, the way it was set up, Dana, you have.
to think that this was very much planned and carried out by somebody very familiar with and
competent with the use of a high-powered rifle. The ultimate outcome of all of this, Charlie
Kurt dead at 31. Dana? Thank you. I want to pause for a second because as we saw the video,
everybody, I got to be honest with you guys. We were, this is going to be so hard to get
through, to be honest. And I'm trying my very best. As we were kind of preparing for this episode,
not this episode, we were preparing to talk about the young lady out of Charlotte, North Carolina,
which is only about an hour and 30 minutes from us here. We are located in upstate South Carolina.
And the past few days since our last episode, it's just been weighing very heavy on me about
this girl that was stabbed to death.
brutally by this blackmail on a tram bus or a tram car in Charlotte.
She had fled Ukraine from a war zone, which obviously coming to America, you're thinking,
hey, you know what, you're going to be safer in America.
You're going to a nice, beautiful city.
Charlotte is a beautiful city.
I've been there many times.
Used to work in and out of Charlotte.
And, you know, but also Charlotte is a, what they, I guess, like to refer to as a sanctuary.
city. They have a lot of Democrat policies, a lot of Democrat prosecutors and mayors, you know,
very much like we see in cities like Los Angeles and Chicago and New York. I'm sure what you're
about to really see in New York if this new mayor is elected in New York City. New York City will go
completely chaos is what's going to happen if this guy gets in. But as we were preparing for this,
I the past couple of days it's just been weighing heavily mentally on me um trying to get through to sorry
um but yes it's been way in pretty heavily just the state the state of this country um what's going
on like how how can we fix this um obviously is something for us we've done this for so long it's
You know, there's definitely episodes and subjects that we do that way more heavily, I guess, than others.
But this young girl being stabbed for no reason whatsoever as an innocent.
She went from living in a bomb shelter, basically, in Ukraine.
And finally became a refugee of America where she thought she was going to be safe.
And, you know, like her parents said, she loved America because Ukraine even offered to help send her body back to Ukraine.
and they said, no, we want her to be buried in America because she loved America.
And it's just so devastating.
And I think, too, you know, the graphic images, you know, those pictures don't go away after you watch the videos.
Just like with Charlie today, that does not go away from your brain.
Once it's installed in your brain, it's there.
And that's all you think about and dream about, you know.
Chad and I were talking the other night.
We had some crazy dreams lately just because of all the people.
you're evil in this world.
Yeah.
You know, and a lot of it is political.
A lot of it is not political.
A lot of it is just people, I think, have no souls.
Yeah, they're evil.
You know, and it's like, you know, obviously the left, they, with this, with this lady
from the Ukraine that was stabbed brutally on this tram in Charlotte, you know, all the left
wants to say is that, oh, he was mentally deranged.
So there's like a get out of jail free card, which is obviously what has happened to this
guy forever.
He had 14 other.
arrest. This guy literally even called 911 multiple times. And it was almost like, yeah,
it was almost like he was calling and reaching out for help to 911. And I, you know, at this point,
I don't give a shit, guys. I'm, I'm going to say something that, you know, out of anger probably.
But, you know, when we talk about people that are mentally ill, supposedly this guy was mentally ill,
to the point where you're sitting there on a bus and you see a white girl in front of you,
which, by the way, after the fact, he said, oh, I got me a white.
white girl a couple of times.
And then you stab her brutally for her to die alone where no one is helping her.
There were three gentlemen sitting behind her and a woman to her left.
And they just stayed on their phones like nothing happened.
You know, she had to make out some kind of, you know, something.
They had to hear or something.
They had to see something.
But they just sat there and actually one man walked past her.
Of course they did.
And didn't even do anything to help her.
She literally died alone.
So this is a state.
of our of our world so getting on to charlie kirk we were setting this episode this this this episode we're
supposed to do tonight about this charlotte murder this brutal murder um of this innocent young
lady and and then we see charlie kirk being shot and we watch some of the very graphic
videos and there is one in particular that is so graphic i will say that um you know people
question whether it was a i yeah and um i don't think it was and i'll be honest
you know, I was already kind of leading into what we were supposed to do tonight.
I was already mentally just kind of drained and, and I was thinking to myself, like,
how am I going to get through this episode and do it the right way?
How am I not going to blame people that shouldn't be blamed or, or how am I going to
blame the people that should be blamed?
You know, you think about both those things.
And then, and then the Charlie Kirk thing happens.
And, you know, whereas Charlie Kirk is a life that now is lost, a life that he works so hard
for the message that he portrayed.
And listen, I'll be honest, I didn't agree with every single thing that Charlie
Cook stood.
Charlie Kirk, see, I can't even think straight.
I don't agree with everything that Charlie Kirk said in every way, shape, or form.
I don't think any of us always agree with everyone.
But when I saw what happened today, it was more than just a life lost and a father lost,
you know, a young father at that.
He's 31 years old.
he had kids he has a beautiful wife and they were all at the event you know there were kids today
that lost a father there was a wife that lost a husband and there was a nation that lost a messenger
there was a nation that lost someone that was very very monumental and instrumental in the very
reason why i still believe that america was saved in 2024 um although i don't necessarily always agree
with everything Trump is doing, but imagine what America would be today had 2024 not worked out
like it did.
And imagine if Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA and all of his campaigning and everything that he
did for conservatives and for Christians across the country, if he would not have been around
to do those things, number one, we as a country right now would be in a very, very different
position.
And although this is a very somber day, what the left doesn't.
understand or whoever this is that committed this heinous assassination on Charlie Kirk,
you know, you can assassinate voices.
And God himself says that as you speak out, as you declare my name, as you proclaim my name,
as you go out and worship and witness to people, you are going to be attacked.
You were going to be persecuted just like I was, just like I literally died on the cross
because I came and said that I am Jesus.
I am the son of God.
and you as you go out and witness, as you go out and speak up, as you go out against evil as good,
God already declares, he already says, be prepared, you will be attacked.
But don't worry because you will be with me regardless at the end of the day.
And Charlie Kirk believed that.
He believed that as he went out and as he preached, and I don't say preach, but as he talked
and communicated with our youth that desperately needs some direction other than the direction
they are getting from the college campuses, from mainstream media, from everywhere that they turn,
including their parents in a lot of cases, you probably can't imagine likely how many people
that Charlie Kirk changed their minds, changed their hearts, changed their entire path in life.
You probably can't imagine how much good he actually did, even for some of the people that
were the worst types of people that you would hear come to the microphone when he was to debate.
And I can't even tell you how many times that Charlie Kirk right.
in and there within a minute or two can like almost change their mind about how they thought
about what they thought about.
And so whereas what most people don't understand is that you can kill a person and a voice,
but all this is going to do is make more people like Charlie Kirk rise up.
And there's going to be more people that stand in the face of danger, in the face of
assassination, that stand in the face of fear, just like Charlie Kirk did.
and I think that if anything, if we can honor Charlie and Charlie's legacy and everything that he was and was about, now's the time that we don't back down.
Now's the time that we don't fear our enemies.
And now's the time that we take up what we need to take up to make sure that the message that Charlie Kirk betrayed continues on and even stronger.
We got to get louder.
We have to be braver.
We have to be all the things that Charlie Kirk appreciates.
about continuously.
And if you don't say that he was brave, you don't go to a place like this, knowing that
anyone in this crowd could shoot you and kill you at any freaking time.
And especially with how many people disagree with you on a regular basis.
And that's just what's so disgusting is during this whole thing, these few hours that
we've been dealing with first when he got shot.
You know, you see on X all these people that are basically laughing at it and saying they
finally got the right shooter or, you know, just terrible things that why would you do that?
Like, why do people even, you know, and I know there's a lot of trolls out there that just want to
be crazy and act crazy or whatever.
But like reality, this is a human life that was just taken for no reason.
Yeah, I agree.
Yeah, I had posted a video of the suspect.
We believed was the suspect at the time, which was this older man, had law enforcement
surrounding him.
They had him handcuffed on his knees.
And this was shortly after the.
the shooting and I can't even I can't even fathom how many people on the comments this video is
already almost at 700,000 views on our Instagram but there was so many people that were saying,
oh wow, finally, you know, finally they got him or thank God for that shooter or I mean,
there were so many comments that were just heinous and absolute insanity and this is the problem
with our country.
Yeah, but let me just talk about the shooter for a minute.
why I feel like he was arrested or detained in the beginning because I did watch a video of
when they were making the initial arrest and he told the officers that he shot them.
He shot him.
He said that and he was, people were yelling at him in the crowd and he was saying, F you, F you,
shoot me now, shoot me now.
So I think he was a little bit off in the head anyways.
So what that makes me think is that he was a diversion.
I don't know, but he was, he claimed to be the one that shot him.
But now it's, but now it comes out that he's definitely not the person.
So if that's true.
Yeah, I saw the video myself.
That he was saying that.
Yes.
Okay.
And he was yelling out to everybody, F you, just shoot me right now.
Shoot me right now.
So, so if this guy was obviously saying this, he was, he was kind of being wild and out
there and, and causing a disturbance in the crowd right after this happened, that makes me think
that he was put there on purpose as a disturbance, as someone that.
when this happened like a distraction yeah law enforcement was going to look on to this guy and then
whoever shot charlie kirk was able to get away yeah because obviously this guy was in the crowd
and whoever shot charlie kirk was on top of a building yeah they think that the shooter of
charlie kirk was on a building uh at least 200 yards away obviously a great shot because uh i mean
if you see the video that is a kill shot um they still as of right now do not have a suspect in custody
but I want to just go ahead and listen to a little more of Fox News reporting as we're talking here.
Jonathan, and so we cover a lot of events here, and many of them don't touch us personally, but this one does.
Charlie was a giant human, especially to me, one of the tallest people I've ever been around, but a huge heart and what an impact.
And Kennedy and I just saw earlier in the green room, you know, he was born in 1993, and you have to take me with your office.
age, you think about that and the impact that this young man had. And the shooting is a watershed
moment for our country. And I believe, and I think my colleagues here will agree, the nation needs
a circuit breaker. This is unacceptable. It's so tragic. And he touched a lot of people in a lot of
people's hearts. You're going to hear a lot more about that in the next hour and in the coming hours
here on Fox News. His first television hit, Greg Rupfeld, was Fox News. He was Fox News.
Fox and Friends in 2012, believe it or not.
So we've known the young man for a long time, and may he rest in peace.
Yeah, he's, I've known him for probably 10 years.
I mean, it's hard to gather your thoughts beyond just horror.
So instead, I mean, you know, Charlie was such a force of nature.
He was brilliant and he was funny, but what scared people was his personal.
The only way to take him down because he could persuade you so strongly was to kill him.
You know, and the shock and despair that we are feeling, and I mean we, as in shared by everyone
at home and around this table and in this building, it's a testament to the impact of Charlie's
friendship and his bravery and his character.
And it's so deep a wound that we all feel.
it's because it feels like he's one of us.
He's part of us because he was such genuinely a patriot and a great person.
So how do you work through this stuff?
You know, it's not about him or me.
It's us, the viewers, you are us.
What do we do?
Well, you still do what you always do, but you do more of it.
You stand up, you speak up, and you share the risk.
Right now, you are recoiling.
but you have to come back and return stronger, more fortified and more resilient.
What is ironic, fittingly, I guess, is that this is a turning point.
You know, if you believe in Charlie, you've got to believe in yourself because he believed in you.
You know, this isn't over.
This is the beginning.
And Charlie's power just got released in all of us.
He's going to be bigger now than he ever was on this chaotic planet.
He made us all bigger.
So I think that if you're at home and you're feeling bad, don't just get through it and remember that he would want you to get stronger and not back down.
Jesse, before I go to you, President Trump has announced that the flags will fly at half-mast for Charlie Kirk until Sunday evening at 6 p.m. I know you knew him well, too.
Yeah, we're sick. We're sad.
angry and we're resolute and we're going to avenge Charlie's death in the way Charlie would want it
to be avenged. He was such a beautiful boy. He was an American boy. And he was incredibly positive.
He was full of energy and life. And he made politics fun. You see it at his events when things blow up
and the music plays.
And we haven't had that in a very long time in this country.
Every time he did a hit on my show, he would text me afterwards.
Thank you, Jesse.
I really appreciate having you on.
And my daughter loved them.
I mean, she's 13 years old.
This is a man who touched an entire generation of Americans and electrified them and made them patriots.
And this is not a controversial person.
This is not a polarizing guy, a divisive person, a fire brand that he's being described as in the media.
This is like a guy that you have a barbecue with at your summer house.
This is the kind of guy if you came back with your daughter, you'd say, thank God, we got a good one.
He's a great athlete.
He's a great person.
He's a great Christian.
You see his family out there.
he had his kids not facing the photos because he wanted to protect them, because he knew how evil
people were. So when he goes out to these college campuses, he's not provoking anybody. He's like
Socrates. He asks questions, and he does it with a smile. And there's nothing controversial about
saying socialism is worse than capitalism. Men and women are different. Let's put America first,
because that's all he was about putting America first.
And as Greg said, this hits differently because Charlie was one of us.
And Trump gets hit in the ear.
Charlie gets shot dead.
They came after Kavanaugh with a rifle to his neighborhood.
They went after Musk's cars.
They just shot two Jews outside the embassy.
Think about it.
Scalise got shot, barely survived.
It's happening.
We've got trans shooters.
You got riots.
and LA, they are at war with us. Whether we want to accept it or not, they are at war with us.
And what are we going to do about it? How much political violence are we going to tolerate?
And that's the question we're just going to have to ask ourselves.
Now, Charlie would want us to put as much pressure on these people as possible. Dana nailed it.
This is unacceptable and has to stop. And it has to stop now. And everybody,
is accountable and we're watching what they're saying on television and who's saying what?
The politicians and the media and all these rats out there.
This can never happen again.
It ends now, Greg's right again.
This is a turning point and we know which direction we're going.
Yeah, there you go.
And that was well spoken by everyone on the five on Fox News.
Obviously, there's a lot here to be said.
I think Jesse's right.
we are in war, unfortunately.
And we have been wondering when this war was actually going to be on our doorstep.
And I think it's here.
I mean, I've never been the person on this show to say or to incite or to even condone or encourage war.
Right.
And that's not what I'm going to do in this occasion either.
But at what point in time does it come that people do?
end up and how, right? I mean, I think there's so many people in this country right now after this
that are wondering how, right? And there are right ways to go about this in wrong ways.
Number one, as I've already said, it's not to be silent. It's not to sit around and not say anything.
It's not to not speak out. It's not to be loud or it's not to not be loud. This is a moment
that we have to pivot. We have to bring what Charlie talked about and what he preached about.
and what he said on college campuses on a regular basis,
we have to do our part in spreading that same message
because guys, we are fighting evil.
There's no question.
And I'm not saying that everyone on the left is evil.
I'm not saying all blacks are evil or all Mexicans are evil or all illegals are evil.
Or all anybody's evil.
But we, I think part of the problem is kind of similar to how when we went to Afghanistan
and when we went to Iraq and especially if you talk to,
to any service member that went to Afghanistan.
And one of the hardest things for them was identifying the enemy.
Like how do we identify the enemy?
Because like a typical war, for example, like in World War II and World War I and Vietnam
and all this stuff, you know, you would have soldiers from the other side that wore uniforms.
They were obviously identified.
You knew who to shoot.
You knew who not to shoot.
You knew who your friendlies were and you knew who your enemies were.
And, you know, there's one thing.
thing that my buddy has always talked about. He was in Afghanistan twice, Iraq once, and he always
said, we just never knew who our enemy was. And which was. Yeah, and it could be a nine-year-old boy
hiding a shotgun underneath his clothes. Or AK-47 or a IED. I mean, even for example, in
Afghanistan, there were nine and 10 and 11 and 12-year-olds that were the ones going out and
planting the IEDs. There were suicide bombers that were 11 and 12 years old that would walk up to
soldiers in Afghanistan and then blow themselves up.
Obviously, at the direction of ISIS and whoever their leaders were.
But we're in a battle right now in some ways with an unseen enemy.
And that is their biggest strength.
Their biggest strength is we don't know who they are.
And I remember when 9-11 happened.
And, you know, we did accuse a lot of Islamic terrorists of committing these horrific acts
on Americans.
But after the time, you know, everyone was talking about
these terrorist cells and nobody knows who they are or what they are or where they are.
And it's kind of the same thing.
They don't just like stick out with a red uniform on where you say, oh, that's the bad guy.
You don't know.
They're walking among you.
And that's what's so scary with what's going on with political violence in today's world is
you can be walking side by side with somebody and have no idea what their intentions are.
And I think also that the media plays a huge role.
in political violence.
Absolutely.
You know, it goes back to even when they were,
they were saying that Trump was like Hitler or, you know,
it makes people believe the things they say.
And just like a headline that I just saw an X not too long ago from MSNBC,
I always have to say it slow because I'm dyslexic and I always say it wrong.
It could have been a Charlie Kirk fan shooting in celebration.
That's their first remarks.
Yeah.
I mean, these kind of things are nonsense and you should not.
be blaming a fan of celebrating and shooting on accident. No, he was shot on the neck, in the neck,
on purpose. It was not a fan. Yeah, this was MSNBC reporting this. I mean, literally 30 minutes after
this initial report came out, they were saying, oh, this might be a Charlie Kirk fan that was
celebratory shooting at something he said, which is absolute bashing crazy. Let me tell you when
Charlie Kirk actually got shot. He was asked a question about trans shooters, and he had responded
to that question.
And then the very next thing he said, he had said some about gang violence or something,
and that was when he was shot.
But of course, MSNBC wants to put out some stupid bullshit about saying, oh, yeah,
this might have been a celebratory shot from one of Charlie Kirk's own fans.
This is the evil media that Trump has talked about for a very long time.
The fake news, because that's what they are.
They are funded and prioritized by the globalists, by the elites, 100%.
I do think, and I'll say it right now.
Now, regardless of what anybody thinks, I mean, there's a lot of Israeli influence in our media in the United States of America, 100%.
A lot of the media is owned by and connected to in some ways Israel.
But I do want to play this.
This was a piece from MSNBC also to where this was their thoughts.
This is what they thought that the Trump administration would do and how they would use Charlie Kirk's death.
Listen.
As we were just talking about a moment ago with Alan, after one of the Doge employees was allegedly attacked in Washington, D.C., that's what Donald Trump used as a justification to send in federal troops into Washington, D.C., to get things under control, the carjacking situation, he used that.
And I know it's hard to predict the future, Mark, but you can imagine the administration using this as a just,
justification for something.
I must admit, I'm at a loss to guess as to what happens next.
But, Kurt, yeah, of course.
They want to bring that in, right?
And listen, any tragedy the government is going to use.
I mean, so to their benefit what they're saying here, I'm not necessarily saying that's
not true, but also at the same time, when you have speakers as nice and as cordial and
as Charlie Kirk as Charlie Kirk was, you know,
it's just like Jesse Kirk's, or Jesse Kirk, God, I'm
trying to think straight guys.
It's just like Jesse Waters said, you know, if your daughter
brought home Charlie Kirk, you'd be like, oh, thank God.
She has a good guy.
And I agree with that, 100%.
You know, but what the media wants you to think is like,
no, you know what?
Your daughter would be much better off bringing home some gang
member from an inner city that has just committed 18
freaking crimes in the past week.
because they're the good people, they're the people that we're going to protect on mainstream
media, but all these people talking about Christianity and God and doing their right thing
and the conservative values of America and just American values in general, those are the
people that you have to be worried about.
Those are the bad people.
Those are the people that we should be attacking.
And mainstream media is as much at fault and to blame for this Charlie Kirk assassination
as they are to blame for this white girl being killed on a freaking Charlotte tram bus by a black male, period.
And, you know, he can say whatever the hell he wants to about, oh, I'm crazy, I'm schizophrenic.
Yet while he has blood dripping from him and she's dying in the seat just below her alone, by the way,
he's walking down the aisle saying, I got me a white girl.
Got me a white girl.
kind of reminds me of Samantha Joseph in South Carolina at University of South Carolina
campus with Nathan Rowland.
Was that his name?
Nathaniel Rowland.
And, you know, he was always, he was, he was putting in text messages to some of his
buddies about a white bunny and all this stuff.
Yeah, it was a target.
He was targeting a white girl.
And he did.
And he murdered her.
He pretended like he was a Uber driver.
He got her into a car when she was inebriated.
As obviously at most college campuses at one and two in the morning, you will have girls
that call an Uber.
Obviously, he picked up on that.
He got this girl in his car.
He had the child lock.
She couldn't get out of the car.
And then he murders her brutally and then throws her off into a field some, I don't know,
50 miles away from where he actually committed to murder.
We are at a battle with good and evil, guys.
And I'm telling you, Jesus and God would not want us to stand down.
And we're not going to stand down.
We're not going to.
I'm not going to.
You know, I, I'm not going to quit speaking.
I'm not going to quit standing up.
I do think for sure that like when you have people like Charlie Kirk, Nick Fuentes, whoever it is, Alex Jones, just name the commentator, name the influencer, name whoever it is, especially anyone on the right.
Louder with Crowder.
Louder with Crowder.
Yeah, Stephen Crowder or Tim Pool or even us, if we went to a mainstream event to where we're like, hey, we're going to speak at the.
this event, which is, you know, completely honest, we've thought about like, you know,
especially some of our number one most listen to cities, we've thought about setting up events
in some of these places, like Los Angeles, for example.
That's one of our number one cities.
There's cities in Texas and whatever.
New York City is also another big city for us.
But there's so much evil out there.
And so I've always, I've always thought it's like, I don't know if that's a good idea.
I mean, I don't know if it's a good idea to where we just give the public access to us.
and we announced, hey, here's where we're going to be.
Here's how you can access it and ask us questions.
Charlie did this on a regular basis.
And I'm just, I am blown away.
I guess the thing for me is like I'm blown away how there wasn't more security,
how they didn't figure out a way to protect Charlie better.
I know he's not a president of the United States or whatever.
But he's a huge figure.
And I think if it weren't for him, I don't know, honestly, if Trump would be president
right now. He campaigned for him day and night. And he got a lot of the youth, a lot of the young
people to go out and vote and make them understand what our values of America should be and what
we should stand for. I mean, he was working 24-7 for Trump to get him in office because he knew
what our world would look like if the other team came in office. Yeah. No, I agree.
We're probably going to get Nathan Jones on the phone in just a second.
one second well let's listen to some more
let's listen to some more of this and then we'll we'll get Nathan Jones on the
on he is from this area so we as soon as we get him on we'll bring Nathan back on
he is the founder of clear he also knows a lot of people in the government kind of
everybody is connected to everything he obviously had some people I believe that he knew
that was at this event we'll get his take on this as well but let's listen to some more
of the five and turning point you so appropriately there
This is also in.
Joe Biden has posted on X a statement.
He said there is no place in our country for this kind of violence.
It must end now.
Jill and I are praying for Charlie Kirk's family and loved ones.
I'm sure to have many more of these statements to come through.
Harold, you also knew Charlie Kirk.
I met Charlie a few times.
First off, my condolences and prayers to his family.
This is a young dad.
The kind of pain that his wife has to be experiencing,
and she is channeling her own kids.
She should know she'll be lifted in my family's prayers tonight.
You all have said it.
This is horrifying.
It's profoundly sad.
A 31, 32-year-old young man, I know he was born in 1993.
I don't know his exact birthday, but he'd been 32 this year if he wasn't already.
We, I don't know all the details about the shooter or any of those things.
I'm sure we will learn and rightly learn.
but our infatuation with our own politics and our own ideas causes us, I think, to drown in these thoughts and these justifications.
I've read some things and seen some things that people have said today who have talked about Charlie's politics in a way that it sounds as if they are trying to bring some understanding or justification for this.
there's no justification for this.
Charlie and I didn't agree on a lot of politics,
a lot of the paths to solve political problems.
But I viewed his thoughts and ideas as ways to try to help make my thoughts and ideas better.
Politics at its best is that.
We're going to hear a lot over the coming days on both sides,
those who adored Charlie and his politics,
those who did not like Charlie, did not like his politics.
But there's no place.
in our country. There's no place. If you love America, if you love freedom, if you indeed
want to make America, whatever side you sit on Democrat or Republican, the greatest nation in the
world, and believe it is, you can't in any way defend this or justify this. I close where
I started. I don't know Erica, but my thoughts and prayers to her and to those, to his daughter,
and to his son. All right, guys. So we're going to bring on Nathan Jones now. Nathan Jones, obviously,
is he has been a long time friend of us and to the show.
Nathan is the founder of Clear,
X-L-E-A-R.
It is the nasal spray company,
and they were actually sued by the FTC.
Went through a lot of battles, actually.
Nathan went through a lot of battles with the FTC,
and we had talked about this with Nathan many, many times on the show.
And Nathan, we've brought you on on this show on many occasions.
I know this has happened close to,
where you actually live at Utah Valley University.
Can you just give me your initial thoughts on Charlie Kirk that they now say is dead?
Well, this is devastating.
I think I, you know, I think everybody agrees with that.
I was sitting in my office, you know, two exits down the freeway from where this happened.
And, you know, I've met Charlie Kirk.
I met him at the Turning Point USA when it was down in Arizona, Phoenix, and my children of many.
And, you know, he's a very nice guy, very, you know, you hear the word courageous thrown around a lot.
But he kind of was, and you can look at his actions, and you can understand that.
You know, he stood up to people that he, you know, and whether or not you agree that he's right or wrong,
you have to agree that he did stand up and spoke his mind for what he was, he believed in and for his convictions.
And taking the time to go around to the different schools that he's done this.
and have friendly debates with people.
And if you ever watch any of these videos where he's doing that,
anytime it starts to get really emotional where people are getting aggravated,
and he actually does a very good job of dialing down the temperature.
Because that's what he does.
He wanted people to have civil,
collegial debates about the differences that we have.
And that's about as Christian as you can get.
Yeah, absolutely.
Don't get into fights.
Don't get into arguments,
but have a discussion until you can come to an agreement.
And it may be that we never ever come to an agreement.
And, you know, we all have differences.
And it may be that we never ever come to an agreement.
But you can't just go out and shoot someone.
You can't just go out, I mean, and sue people and harm people and go after people.
just because they think differently than you.
Yeah.
And as you said, I mean, you know, I think that's what college used to be about.
You know, I mean, there used to be debate clubs in college to where people would debate
their differences.
And, you know, then, then you have to, you have to bring in now people like Charlie Kirk
that because of universities as went so far left to where everybody, not everybody,
but most people that are coming out of these collegiate campuses, they are being turned a far left
ideology.
It was something that Alex Jones actually the other day was saying when his.
His daughter came to him and said, hey, dad, I want to go to university.
And I think she was going to go to Austin.
And although he was in his mind thinking, yeah, that's probably not a good idea whatsoever.
But he's like, this is the best money I'm ever going to pay to you because once you go here,
you're going to realize what they're doing.
This is an ideological scheme, which is what college has become.
And the only, the only barrier, the only fighting force against that ideology that is being produced
in college campuses across the country has been people like Charlie Kirk.
There has been others before him, but there's been no one more successful than Charlie Kirk
and getting the youth and getting the college kids to just think maybe a little differently,
including we were saying this earlier in the podcast.
There were people that would come up and speak on the microphone that was completely opposite
of any of Charlie's beliefs.
But yet you could tell by the end of that conversation, even they were thinking, shit,
maybe I'm not thinking correctly.
Maybe I need to think about something a little differently.
And hang on, you just said,
you just pointed something out that Charlie Kirk invited people
that disagreed with him to come up and speak in the microphone.
Yeah.
Okay.
Let me give you a leftist.
And this is from my own personal family.
And I think I mentioned this to you.
But in July, so two months ago, we were at a family reunion.
and I come from a very large family, 14 siblings.
Okay.
And so we're there.
My parents are there.
A lot of in-laws are there.
A lot of my nieces and nephews and, you know, everybody's there.
There's, you know, a lot of people there.
And, you know, we would have discussions.
And my family politically is kind of split across the whole spectrum.
I mean, you have people, I believe that I'm a centrist.
I'm very much, you know, I'm either the right, but I'm very much as.
centrist. I have
nephews who
have had their stuff cut off and they think they're
females. I have his mom
who taught at Yale University.
And, you know, they're about as liberal as you can possibly
get. In fact, they're not even liberal. They're leftists.
And they're about as leftists as you can get.
You know, they demand that you call them, you know, she
instead of he and some other name that is
that is not, you know, C.J.
his name. And you also have other ones that are much further right than me. And I think you've
talked with some of my siblings who are even further right than I am, much further right.
And so you have this broad spectrum. And after we were finished with our reunion, my oldest sister
actually posted on her Facebook or Instagram, one of her social media pages, something along the
lines of, you know, I just finished a big family reunion. And what I've learned is that people that they don't
have at least a master's or a PhD, they shouldn't be allowed to talk. Wow. Yeah. Because they're not
educated and they don't know anything about what's going on in the world around them. And so they
shouldn't even be allowed to talk and give input until they have at least a master's or a PhD. And the
irony of that, because that's an incredibly leftist, you know, censor anybody that we don't agree with,
you know, because we're smarter than them. But that actually angered a number of,
of my siblings and we had to kind of have a little powwow about it.
But yeah, it's it's it's just insane that this leftists, these, these leftists are
causing harm. I mean, you know, you saw me and the other day that said, you know,
get rid of the leftists and, you know, take the guns away from the leftists. That's what it was.
And 80% of the shootings would go away.
Yeah.
I think Donald Trump, I think Donald Trump himself said,
We need to get the guns out of the trans sect or trans what do you call them?
The trans people's hand.
Yeah.
That's what he's saying.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean,
although I don't necessarily 100% agree with that either based on whatever.
I mean, you know, Second Amendment, second amendment.
But I do want to talk, Nathan, because you do live in this area.
I want to kind of break this down.
I went to college there.
So you went to college at this university.
Now is, the first thing I asked you earlier was why are they not having checkpoints or something at these
universities when Charlie Kirk comes to speak.
Like is this can you like the campus is so wide open.
I don't think.
I mean,
it's a beautiful day.
I don't know if they originally planned on having an inside,
but most of the ones that I've seen where he's on TV,
um,
you know,
in fact,
I'll tell you,
I was supposed to be there because I have a bunch of friends and they were,
we were all going to go there as a group.
And they said,
hey, Nate,
because I,
you know,
I've met him and I have friends that are in common with.
with Charlie Kirk.
And I just said, hey, if you all want to go, let me find out.
And I called up one of my friends and I said, hey, are these things better on TV or are they better
live?
And he goes, they're better on TV because you get to watch all of it.
And when you're there live, it's just a bunch of noise and you have to push yourself all
the way to the front to try to hear it.
And so I just said, I'm not going to go.
I'm going to sit at home and watch it.
So that's why I wasn't there.
But you did have friends there today, did you?
I had a number of people that I know were there.
And, you know, when they first started texting people and doing this, I was like,
there's no way.
There's no way.
Yeah.
It's, it's insane.
I can't believe it.
But the university is so open that if he wanted to have something outside, there's no way that you're going to be able to make that a secure place.
And the ones that he's done, if you go and watch the, the ones that he's done in the past where he goes out,
he always sits out under a canopy out in the public.
Yeah.
To, you know, to be part of it.
I mean, once you start having these high secure events, you're separating yourself from the public.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, that's true.
And but that is also the biggest risk.
Yeah.
And we were also discussing that he could have, you know, at least been wearing a bulletproof vest.
But I don't think that would have helped in this case.
It wouldn't have helped.
Yeah.
For sure.
So we know, so this campus, this is not BYU.
This is Utah Valley University, right?
Yes.
So this is the biggest college campus in Utah.
Well, I mean, by biggest, not in space, but in people, it's the largest university in the state of Utah.
Okay.
And so obviously he set this up.
He was going here.
Is this, keep in mind also, Nathan, we now know that the original shooter that we thought was the shooter, this old.
guy is not actually the shooter.
They still do not have a suspect in custody.
They are saying that this shot was likely taken from 200 yards away, probably from a rooftop.
And the funny thing that we were saying earlier, too, Sherry was talking about she saw a video
to where this guy that they actually apprehended that I posted on Instagram, which we thought
was the shooter originally, was out there saying, yeah, I shot him, I shot him.
I, you know, I did this.
Yeah, kill me now.
And he was saying, F you to everybody yelling out because everybody was yelling at him.
but he said, I shot him and shoot me now, shoot me now, and F you.
But this is an elderly gentleman.
And I don't know if you saw Nathan on your local news, but they were interviewing his friends.
Did you see him, them interviewing his friends as well saying there is no way this is the guy.
They better retract what they're saying.
Yeah, but what I thought Nathan was this guy was there as a distraction.
So once the shooter happened, if this guy started yelling out stuff, you know, was he the distraction enough to,
get police to zone in and hone in on him to where the actual shooter could get away.
Well, have they found where the actual shooter was?
No, we don't know.
I mean, I'm thinking through my head.
And I could be wrong because I haven't met him to that campus for a little while.
But where he was sitting, I don't know where there would be a roof line 200 yards away that they could shoot from.
In fact, there's there's not.
There's just not.
So that leaves the question
Where's the shooter?
And that also leaves the question.
Yeah. I mean, at most, at most I would say
Not even 100 yards, 75.
I can't I'm trying and I could be wrong
But I'm trying to think through where that was
Because the wall behind him was was right outside
They call it the Hall of Flags
And they just have flags in this hallway
From all of the countries in the world
and then around that whole building is around that whole courtyard is buildings and you know none of them are 100 yards away
that's interesting yeah so either way we know that a shooter is still at large the suspect that they
thought was a shooter is not but it seems like that may have been a distraction you know and as we were
also talking about earlier is that charlie kirk was huge in getting Donald Trump elected in 2024 i mean
turning point USA and and kind of reshaping the minds of our youth.
This is what Charlie Kirk did best.
This was kind of our last line of defense for our youth because our youth every single day
is falling off the deep end.
You know, if you look at, you know, even we've talked a lot about like crime basis,
demographics and so on.
And if you want to say like, well, what crime is actually being committed?
And if you think about like the black community, the black youth actually is the ones that
are committing a lot of violent crime right now, the shootings,
carjackings. This is a thing. It's big in Chicago. It's spreading throughout other cities.
I don't think this was necessarily someone that was black that wanted to kill Charlie Kirk.
I think it sounds more like a either idealistic hit from the left or someone that is higher up that
wanted Charlie Kirk and his messaging done and dead. Who do you think this profile, this shooter could
be? I mean, what do you think about this?
I have no idea.
I can't even think of someone who would do it.
I mean, that's, I mean, yes, he supported conservative causes,
but he was engaging and friendly, you know,
he wasn't the one going out there and spewing rhetoric,
spewing hate messages, you know, as I pointed out earlier,
he would invite the other people.
He would invite anybody that disagreed with him
to come up to the microphone and talk.
Yeah, this is just a sad day.
So did you see anything unusual?
Like you said you were just a couple exits away from this.
I mean, just sitting in your office, what did you see out the window?
Nothing.
In fact, when they first texted me and said, hey, this is going on, I didn't believe them because I hadn't heard a single emergency vehicle, not a single one.
Until you were on the phone, which I heard in the background.
Yeah.
I guess and that was like 15 minutes later, 20 minutes later.
Yeah.
Wow.
Well, I don't know.
Nathan, I just want to bring you on just to kind of get your thoughts and opinions on this.
We're going to obviously be monitoring the situation here.
We're going to see if they do find someone a suspect and bring them to justice, whatever that may be.
I hope that justice is not us taxpayer dollars paying for them for the rest of their life.
But, you know, we'll see how it goes.
And it's just a weird thing.
You know, they tried to assassinate Trump.
They missed.
It looks eerily kind of similar to that.
Although this time they didn't miss.
And it was Charlie Kirk.
It was one of the biggest messengers for the conservative and Christian movement.
And although I've said this for the youth.
Yeah.
And he would go on talk to the youth.
Yeah.
And I think, you know, the future is our children.
You know, that's what they always say.
It's like, that is our future is our kids.
And I think the battle lines are with our children.
it is with our kids it is why you as parents out there truly have to be vigilant in all aspects
of your parenting right now whether it's your kids are in middle school or elementary school
or high school or what college you're going to send your kids to all of those things are
very determining factors at least in my and i'm not a parent i mean i'm a step parent
but nathan i know you are a parent and i know i know the way you parent which is like the
which is the way that parents should parent.
right?
I hope.
Yeah, I mean, but even you, like, you know, you as a father of girls, you know, it's like,
I always hear Nathan, I'm like, Nathan's a good dad.
He's trying to raise his kids.
He's a very good dog.
A good dog.
A good dad.
And he does not put up with any BS.
I'm a good dog.
Good donkey, good donkey.
Yeah.
But, you know, but Nathan, I think that you, though, see that like how much we have to really
look after our kids, especially in 2020.
25.
Oh, I 100% do.
And I let my kids, you know, it terrifies me.
It gives you, it gives me, I don't want to say anxiety, but it gives me a little bit of
anxiety.
Every time you let your kids go do something that when I was a kid, I just thought nothing
of it.
You know, my daughter, my 12 year old, the first part of this week, Monday, Tuesday, she
just got home today.
But she was at a camp with her school.
and they're like yeah this is what we're doing
these are the game for playing and we're going to go up
to the lake and we're going to make boats
and see how much the kids how far the kids can float
on them and I'm like what
what you're going to let my kid in here water
yeah
even though I take
I take my kids to the lake
all the time my kids know how to swim
they know how to stay afloat they know the water
safety they know all this stuff but I have
never taught them how to make a boat
yeah
well and and listen
you know I think
bigger than you having to be worried about water.
I think as young kids in America today, you know, just like the Charlotte
stabbing that just happened, I think we all need to be teaching our kids, self-awareness,
self-defense, things that they need to be looking out for other than their phones or Snapchat
or...
In both cases, I don't think there would have been any kind of self-defense.
No, absolutely.
But you could have, you know, all I'm saying is we have to position ourselves in every
aspect of our life, wherever we go, whatever we do as a defensive measure, unfortunately.
Well, situation aware of it.
I think the way to answer that is what you need to protect your children from is leftist
ideology.
Yeah.
You can let your kids be liberals.
Like Robert Kennedy is a liberal.
Okay.
My dad is a liberal.
Yeah.
I have a couple of siblings that I mentioned.
that are leftists.
And the difference is a leftist is way beyond a liberal.
Liberal is like, hey, you know what, I think that, you know,
we should have some kind of health care for people that are falling through the cracks in the system.
And a leftist says, well, I'm going to shoot you if we don't all get free health care.
Yeah, absolutely.
A leftist is a president who says, I'm going to push through Obamacare because I think that all of my buddies
that are working the insurance industry and the hospital management and PBOs,
I think they all, PBM, sorry, I think they should all make billions of dollars off of the taxpayer.
That's a leftist, not a liberal.
Yeah, and we're, I mean, we're truly one of the richest nations in the world, but yet ranked 40th in health care.
We're not one of the richest.
I hate it when people say that.
Well, I mean, well.
Can you name me another country that is $37 trillion in debt?
That's true.
But I guess I guess what I should say there is the most, one of the most powerful, at least,
countries and yet we have just an absolute assonine health care system to where it's like the health care
system in a lot of ways screws you more than it helps you and I think obviously we saw that during we saw
that during your lawsuit we saw that during um so many other things even rfk right now fighting
fighting what he's trying to do take out the people in the CDC that needs to be taken out take out
the people uh in all of the agencies that need to be gone which was the result of why
we are in the position we are in health-wise in America today.
So last thing, Nathan, before we go, because we're going to break into a little more
of this coverage with Fox News.
But where do we go from here?
Nathan, like what, what, because I'm sure, you know, obviously there's people out there thinking
right now, like, what do I do?
What do you do?
I hope that this doesn't, you know, that his life is not a wasted life.
I don't think it is because he's already done a lot.
But I think he should motivate more people to stand up and talk about what they believe in and talk about what their beliefs are.
And again, don't do it in a combative, argumentative way.
You don't have to do it like the people with the PhDs do it.
Okay.
You don't have to sit there and demean and say, oh, you shouldn't be able to talk because I'm smarter than you and I know better than you.
But, you know, but be nice.
Sit down and discuss it.
I mean, one of the greatest things about our country when you sit there and you think about how it was founded is you had people that were completely liberal.
And you had other people who were completely conservative.
And they went down and sat down in a little church, not a church, a town hall.
And if you haven't been to Philadelphia and looked at this place, it's incredibly small.
If you took in and you go in there and if you stand there and you look at this room and figure that there was, I can't remember how many there was.
but, you know, a couple of hundred, I think.
People in there debating the Constitution, not the Constitution,
the Declaration of Independence and all of these things.
And they were doing it in July.
Yeah.
It would have been miserable.
But yet they understood that they needed to come together
and come to a happy middle ground where we could all get along
and, you know, work out our differences.
Yeah, for sure.
foist them on top of other people and tell people you have to go get this vaccine you have to go and do this
you know it's you know go out there and do what you want to do but and don't impede on other people's
righteous liberties and i think we need to get back to that and i think those of us that feel that way
need to be more vocal in it and i agree with i think a lot of good i'm i was going to say i agree
with you both to an extent, but when you're debating with people that just want to murder you
and don't care to have debates, they just want to kill you, what is the purpose?
Well, hopefully at some point, they will see the light.
You know, I mean, I don't, I don't know, I don't know any leftist that believes in a God.
Yeah.
And I know a number of leftists, but both of them, but, but I'm saying all of the ones that I know,
are atheists.
And, you know, so please make sure your kids don't grow up to be atheists.
Yeah.
Even though one of the most Christ-like people I know is also an atheist.
Wow.
Yeah.
And that happens.
And that does happen.
And like I said, I think this is a message that, you know, as God said in the beginning,
as you go out and speak and be brave and you witness and you worship or you do the things
that I command you to do, you will also be persecuted.
And I think Charlie Kirk was brave in the sense that he understood the risk.
He had to have known the risk.
I was literally just telling Sherry this.
I mean, although our podcast is not Charlie Kirk's level, you know, if we went out and did
a public event somewhere that was like, say in a city like Los Angeles or some of our
biggest cities that listened to us, that that's just a scary thing to kind of.
to think about, right? So, you know, it's a scary thing to let the public in, but I also feel like
that it is our duty to confront and inform and talk to the public as much as we possibly can.
And I think that's very important. But Nathan, thank you so much for coming on. We definitely
appreciate your insight, especially being in that area. And we'll definitely have you back on very soon.
Okay. Thank you. Thank you, Nathan. All right, that was Nathan Jones with Clear. And Nathan's
been on the show many, many times. I do want to break in and see what else Fox News is saying
right now. Let's listen to a little more of Fox News coverage. Here you go. Free speech lives high
in your list of priorities, Kennedy. Absolutely. And you think about all of us go out there and we
want to meet the public. We want to speak. We want to speak our minds. We are fortunate enough to
have been given a microphone in this medium to talk about ideas and amplify.
what we believe is right. It is okay to be polarizing. It is okay to be a lightning rod. It is okay for people
to disagree with you. It is not okay to take someone's life. And, you know, there are people who
have tried to justify what happened based on the reaction that Charlie Kirk stirred in people.
I will tell you this, as Jesse said, his daughter loved Charlie Kirk. My daughter is a junior in
college, a lot of them only get their news from TikTok. And they all know who Charlie Kirk is.
Because using the Socratic method, he has confronted the sophistry of socialism and progressivism
on college campuses. That was his life's work. And they all knew who he was. And as they shared those
videos, many of those young people question their beliefs, maybe for the first time in their lives.
and it's okay to do that as well.
And I hope they continue to do that.
And that his shadow resonates for generations of people who are able to sit down with those they disagree with and have a conversation with them and confront them with the inadequacies of their arguments, hoping that they come to the side that Charlie Kirk lived and believed was right.
And he did it with good cheer, a happy warrior.
there's one other thing I want to
I got to break in just for a second
so we are now seeing video of
what appears to be a shooter
new visuals have emerged
showing what appears to be an individual on
the roof of the Losey
Center at UVU
University
so that's the
Utah Valley University
in the moments before Charlie Kirk
was shot there is a video out there right
now that shows this
figure on top of a roof
it looks like he is in likely black clothes he is positioned likely with some type of rifle
laying down yeah laying down just like a snip shooter yeah just like a the same type of
situation that happened during the Butler Pennsylvania rally with Donald Trump this guy is on
the roof he is in black clothing he is positioned in a prone position looking directly
towards where Charlie Kirk was speaking.
So this was on a roof.
It looks like at least 200 yards or 100 yards away from where Charlie was speaking.
This video is just now coming out.
So, you know, I go back to this guys.
This guy that everyone assumed was the shooter at probably five minutes after the shooting
happened where he was screaming some things that made all law enforcement look to him.
They convened on him.
they arrested this guy.
They thought they maybe had the shooter until obviously they were looking through his,
through his person and they did not see any weapons.
So.
Well, even when they arrested him, they're like, guys, we don't even know if he's a shooter.
Just back off, back away.
We don't even know what's going on right here with him.
Yeah.
But we're detaining him.
But this allowed this shooter on the roof to get away in time.
And so this could be a massively well executed, coordinated,
hit on Charlie Kirk, well planned out to where they even had someone in the crown that was a,
you know, a, I guess you can say a distraction.
They had someone in the crowd that was a distraction, yelling things, getting law enforcement
to look at this guy and say, hey, here's the guy.
We got to, we got to convene on him.
And when you have this and all of the crowd pointing to this guy, this guy's saying certain
things, yeah, law enforcement is taking all of their attention to hear.
And then you have this guy that just shut.
able to get off the roof the same way he probably likely came on, get out of there, and
who knows where the hell this shooter is right now.
So I want to read a quote to you and I want to see what you think.
This is a quote by Charlie Kirk himself.
He says when discourse ends, violence begins.
All he wanted to do is talk to people and you effing leftists murdered him for it.
What do you think about that?
When discourse ends, violence begins.
Absolutely.
But obviously the violence began while he was trying to have discourse.
Well, yes.
So the number one thing in our society is discourse, right?
We should be able to talk to each other.
And to suss out our opinions and thoughts, we should be able to talk them out in a way that is cordial, in a way that is respectful.
And even if it isn't respectful, but just nonviolent, non-killing type motives that you have for your fellow man.
you know and it's the thing that I where I've been so kind of disturbed in my soul as of the past
year or two you look at Israel where Hamas executed 1,200 people in Israel that that happened
and then you look at Israel's response you look at what's happening between Russia and Ukraine
there are people that are dying on a daily basis by the thousands the same thing is
happening in Gaza the same thing to happen in Israel the same thing to happen 9-11
and in Afghanistan and Iraq and likely is going to happen in Venezuela.
Life is life. Life is very important. Life is fragile. Life is is something that we only have
once on this earth. And depending on what you believe as far as your spirituality goes or for
God, it depends on, you know, what the life is after this. I do believe there is life after this.
I 100% believe that.
I believe that we go somewhere else.
Our energy does not dissipate.
Even if you go to the basic level of science,
they will tell you that energy does not destroy.
It does not dissipate.
It goes somewhere and gets in other things.
And my whole deal with this Charlie Kirk thing is just like I believe Charlie Kirk is likely in heaven.
And he's going to be fighting from up there.
I also believe that his message,
his resonance, everything he stood for, his mission is going to fight harder than he ever could
imagine. And I'm talking about in mass. He's going to fight in mass. And this is going to be a huge
thing coming up, guys, that I don't know how the government will respond. That's where we're
going to wait to see. You know, how will Trump and the administration respond? How far will they take it?
You know, I literally am already seeing messages saying that, um, that we should declare martial
law based on this, which is it, regardless of Charlie Kirk being assassinated, no, we should
not do that for this.
Um, we also have 37 minutes ago.
Democrats just started screaming in the House chamber when representative Lauren Bobert
requested everyone pray for Charlie Kirk.
You can even hear Jasmine Crockett or ghetto scree.
and Speaker Johnson smack the gavel on her.
Democrats are vile people, it seems like.
The people on the left, they are completely coming out against just for people in Congress to ask for prayers.
And they're screaming on the House floor like they are all for this.
We are in a war, guys.
That's what's going on.
We are literally in a war.
And, you know, even on this other view that Alex Jen just posted.
posted Charlie Kirk's assassin can allegedly be seen on the roof of the Utah Valley University
running away after shooting Charlie Kirk in the neck.
Speech attendees spot the figure on the roof before the event even begins.
And his assassin is still at large.
I still feel sick to my stomach.
You know, when I saw the video, the close range video of this, I was sick.
I had an anxiety attack, actually.
I did. I mean, you asked Sherry. And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and I was already kind of prepared myself for the Charlotte episode tonight. And then Charlie Kirk happened. And I was like, well, we obviously got to do this. We, we, we got to talk about what's the latest on this and, and, and, and, we. thought that America once stood for. Um, I want to break.
a little more of Fox News.
Good evening. Welcome to Washington. I'm Brett Baer. Breaking tonight, political discourse once again
turning to political violence in America with deadly consequences. Conservative commentator
Charlie Kirk was killed today in a shooting at a rally in Utah. Initial reports that a suspect
was in custody were later dismissed. Police and federal agents are now actively engaged
in a search and are telling residents to shelter in place. Kirk,
was kicking off his American comeback tour at Utah Valley University in Orham, about 40 miles from Salt Lake City.
Witnesses say a shot rang out and Kirk fell backward. He was immediately attended to and taken to a nearby
hospital. About an hour ago, President Trump posted that Charlie Kirk had died. He was 31 years old
and leaves behind a wife and two children. Kirk was the founder and president of Turning Point USA.
An enormously popular national student movement.
He used his open public events by saying, if you disagree with me, move to the front of the line.
Chief correspondent Jonathan Hunt reports tonight from Los Angeles with what we know at this hour.
Good evening, Jonathan.
Good evening, Brett.
Terrible scenes today on the campus of Utah Valley University in Aurum, Utah, just about 30 minutes or so south of Salt Lake City.
that the scene on the right you're looking at there are the probably 2,000 or so people who had turned
out to watch and listen to Charlie Kirk at the campus in the Sorensen Plaza, which is right
in the center of that campus. We are not, for very obvious reasons.
All right, guys, we're going to go ahead and break away from that because we've already heard
that. I was just trying to see what the latest from Fox News was. Same thing we have heard,
but what we are actually seeing on X is that right after the shooting,
you can see a shooter on the roof.
And this is a guy in black clothing.
And right after that,
you also have a couple of different camera angles that show this shooter running on the roof right after the shooting,
going back towards likely wherever he entered the roof.
He is exiting the roof.
So we do not have a suspect still in custody as of right now.
Yeah.
And since we don't,
3 p.m.
We need to say it could be he, a she, or they.
We don't know.
And by the way, Nathan, that you just heard on the podcast, he literally just
text me and said, I just got a warning to shelter in place.
I am getting my gun and going out.
So Nathan lives, by the way, right in this vicinity where all of this happened.
There is now a shelter in place order.
This is breaking right now.
No one else has even talked about this.
This is from Nathan Jones, which is the clear founder right there in Provo, Utah.
They do have a shelter in place order in Provo, Utah to where they are warning all residents to take place in shelter.
Do not leave your home.
They do believe potentially this shooter is around the area.
Likely, this shooter, in my opinion, will not probably cause harm to anyone else.
This was his mission.
His mission now is going to be to get the hell away from there as far as he possibly can to get out and exit the scene as much as possible.
You know, there was something that someone on Telegram said earlier that, you know, I would like to see the flight logs leaving this area.
Because if this was a either New World Order globalist hit on Charlie Kirk, he may have transportation out of there very fast after the fact.
Whether it be private jet, obviously, you're not necessarily going to be on a commercial airliner.
Well, and this obviously was a skilled shooter.
I mean, he shot and he shot to kill.
Yeah, absolutely.
And it was very devastating to see this.
And with that being said, you know, this was very planned.
And it was planned out well.
So I'm sure he had an escape route.
Yeah.
I want to play something from Alex Jones right now.
This is Alex Jones talking about, you know, they knew that I guess Charlie Kirk was dead up to an hour ago.
But listen to what Alex says.
All right.
I've got some really bad news for people.
I just got a call five minutes ago from a very trusted source.
never been wrong connected to three-letter agencies who's very close to people that were on the
ground there when charlie kirk was shot in utah today and he died a long time ago so he's dead
and i got a call saying where you're getting your info they might be alive and i said i'm getting
off the news they said no he's dead that's directly from people on the ground i'll leave it at that
very close to charlie so they killed him the left
killed him.
And I get the family and others are probably thinking about what they're going to say or what
they're going to do.
But you see that footage.
They say clearly from the report with rifle and all the rest of it, high-powered rifle,
they said because the reason his chest lifts up is just the effect that the bullet
and high speed creates put him in the neck.
And Charlie's dead.
But the left thinks this is going to intimidate us to shut up and get other thing coming.
Charlie was out there at the campus, getting millions of gun people to vote for Trump.
And they just, the left cannot allow this.
And John Podesta plan was if Trump were reelected to launch a civil war.
So it's live now.
Everybody should be really watching now.
They're going to try to kill Trump again.
Just God bless you all.
And God bless Charlie Kirk.
He died like a Viking king, sword in his hand, the info war.
Now, I pray my source is wrong, but this source has been.
All right.
So there is Alex Jones talking about, you know, they kind of knew that Charlie Kirk was dead.
Not very long at all.
Well, if anyone saw the videos like we did and if the videos were real, which I think they were.
Yeah, they were.
There is no way anyone could have survived that.
No, they're definitely real.
And 48 seconds ago, Rawls alerts is reporting that the suspected shooter of Charlie Kirk has been taken into custody according to the FBI.
This is 48 seconds ago.
Thank God.
So they have taken him into custody as of right now 627 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
the suspected shooter of Charlie Kirk has been taken into custody according to the FBI.
This is just not breaking.
So we will obviously see what happens after this.
We will see who this shooter is.
What are his ties?
Who was this person?
Guys, I'm probably going to wrap this up now because I'll be honest, man.
This has been a hard episode to get through.
And sorry if stuff was kind of all over the place.
But, you know, we were preparing for our.
a whole other episode tonight.
We decided to do this one for obvious reasons.
This is the most important topic in America today.
And what I will say is like, I know a lot of you guys, you don't like hearing ads on
our shows a lot.
And I get it.
And that's really the only way we are funded whatsoever in any way, shape, or form.
But we will make sure that all funds from this episode, no matter how big it gets,
goes to turning point USA for charge.
This is what he built.
This is what he wanted to do.
This was his message.
This was his fight.
This was something that he believed was the most important fight in America was to not lose our youth.
And we are losing them on a regular and daily basis.
As I said earlier, the shootings we see just in our area are from 16 and 17 and 18-year-olds.
the shooters that are shooting people now based on ideologies or people that they don't agree with,
including Charlie Kirk, in large part of based on what they hear from either social media
or from mainstream media or from their college campuses.
And so someone decided today that because Charlie Kirk was preaching a message of God
and faith and hope and prosperity for America that he should be dead,
and this is evil.
And I'm going to leave you with this.
And I want you to understand this.
God said, as you go out and you speak and you stand up and you fight and you say the same
things that I want you to say, you say the same things that I said in the face of danger,
in the face of evil, you will also be persecuted.
Just understand that.
I already know that's coming.
But do not be afraid because Jesus was not afraid.
and I think that Charlie Kirk was not afraid.
He was a warrior.
He was brave.
He was someone that we all should aspire to be.
And it's going to suck for his family for a very long time.
His kids, his wife, the people around him, the people that looked up to Charlie Kirk.
I want you to pray for those people.
I want you to pray for his family, mostly.
His parents.
And I want to you pray for America.
I don't know where we go from here, but whatever our next step is has to be very methodical.
We have to figure out what it is.
How do we fight evil when we don't even necessarily see or know who evil is?
How do we fight evil when trying to spread the message?
But at the very last thing I will say is regardless, we cannot cower and we cannot fear.
are evil forces that are against us.
We are more powerful than those forces.
Today was very devastating for me.
It was very hard to even do this episode.
And it's because I think that we lost something that was so good, even at such a young age, 31 years old.
Yeah.
31 years old.
And this is going to likely inspire others to do the same thing.
I mean, I hate to say this.
this is going to the same way it's going to inspire people on the right or the people that are for good
to do the right thing and to get out there and preach and to say the things you want to say
this is also going to inspire the people on the evil and the left side and i'm not saying
everybody on left is bad or evil i'm just saying this is going to inspire evil also so just keep
that in mind um but guys we're going to close it with shivers and this is by loving caliber uh sh shh
Shivers is a song that just makes you think that, like, you know, you think this is all a dream.
And it's like today is almost like a dream.
It's a nightmare.
Yeah, it is.
And I feel sick to my stomach.
But guys, until next time, we love you.
Peace out.
Stay safe.
We'll pray for all of us.
Love you guys.
Peace out, guys.
It's just the little of my friends.
I'm beside you.
try to raise just
I see that
face and it shivered
If just for a minute
I'd fall asleep
and not dream about
I'm out of ideas
I don't know if I'll
cope without
shivers it hurts
It hurts
