Starting point is 00:00:07 My minded people Sure know how to drink I came to the party I laughed at the jokes you made I wish that I heard in Because now's the jokes on me I didn't come here Just so I could
Starting point is 00:00:41 Hello and welcome to investigate Earth Podcast I'm your host Chad Alongside my beautiful wife Sherry Say hello Hey guys, welcome to the show We're so glad you're here tonight We're definitely glad you're here It is a little later than we usually do these
Starting point is 00:00:56 but it's 7.49 p.m. here on the East Coast United States, March the 9th. Welcome to the show, guys. We had so many topics that we could talk about tonight, but we want to talk about January 6th and Tucker's uncovering of the files. We want to talk about that. But, you know, this Twitter hearing that happened today, and the way the House Democrats attacked journalists for basically covering the deep state censorship of Twitter
Starting point is 00:01:24 and just basically speech and a narrative in general is just appalling. It is literally one of the most appalling, unethical, and crazy demonstrations of Congress or politicians that we've ever seen to journalists that are a part of their own party. That's what's funny. Is they're part of their own party? Yeah. They associate as Democrats and they're going against them. them. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:01:56 And I did get a little point of a little bit that later that I'll say, well, never mind. Yeah, yeah. But no, I mean, yeah, honestly, I mean, there was a, there was a point in this conversation that maybe this is what you're saying. But Jim Jordan is like, you do realize that they are Democrats, right? Like, they are not far right. They're not right extremist.
Starting point is 00:02:14 And they are journalist. And so it was a crazy hearing today. And we have to talk about this because when I was reading through. Matt Taibi's latest files, which he released, basically he released what he was talking about today in the hearings. And as I read through these, and we're not actually going to read through all these today, but we're going to sum up basically what these new files say, because I don't want to read through it and bore you guys with like the, you know, it's kind of long and some of the words that they use is just whatever. But we will sum that up. But we're going to play you some clips of what happened today in the House hearing. And, man, it was a doozy, I got to say.
Starting point is 00:03:02 These, this political left. And it's like they want to ignore facts. They want to ignore video evidence. They want to ignore every single thing. And it's not they want to ignore. They're just going out in public now. They're going out on TV, on camera. And they're acting like they just, it's not that they're acting like people are stupid, that they're going to believe them.
Starting point is 00:03:29 It's just that now they don't give a damn whether or not you see how corrupt they are or not. I mean, it's like full on communism is what we are seeing in the United States of America. And this, what we're going to talk about tonight, should worry every single American citizen to the core. It should chill you to the core. what is actually going on and the fact that they are so blatant about it and just mad about it.
Starting point is 00:03:58 It's so true. And it's, to me, I try to think about what is really going on in their minds. Do they actually know what they're doing? They have to know what they're doing. They have to know that this is so blatant in front of everybody.
Starting point is 00:04:13 And it's almost like they're telling you a lie in front of your face and you're supposed to believe the lie. Yeah. And it's, this is true. And this is. is real and everything else is not true and just believe what comes out of my mouth. Yeah, and it's not just that too. It's like, you know, if you ever heard anybody say,
Starting point is 00:04:32 the fact you're even saying this is insulting my intelligence. Like, you're acting like I'm an idiot. Like you're acting like I am just a moron, right? And the reality is, is that, and I don't want to make this political, but we have to, to a degree, because there's no way around this, right? You have the Democrats. that were on the floor today that were questioning two journalists, which, you know, are both Democrats. They're registered Democrats.
Starting point is 00:04:59 They are far from far right. I mean, they're the furthest from far right you can imagine. But, you know, these guys are someone that took on this responsibility to, to investigate and to release the stories through emails and through all of this investigative work, which was very extensive to the point where they had to read through emails and thousands. Thousands and thousands of emails and correspondence between Twitter, the previous Twitter, prior to Elon Musk, and the FBI, and the DOJ, and not just the intelligence agencies, but they had to also see how non-governmental organizations or NGOs, which are usually heavily politically funded organizations, typically by the Democrats in this case, were calling the shots as far as speech goes. and they were working hand in hand with the DOJ, with the FBI, and with other organizations within the government.
Starting point is 00:05:59 And it was literally like two days after President Biden took office that they started, I think it was two or three days. They started this campaign with Twitter to say, hey, by the way, guys, we're FBI, we're DOJ and we're this new administration, we're taking over. We don't give a damn what you think. You're not a private company no more. You might have thought you are, but no, not anymore.
Starting point is 00:06:21 And so Twitter, at least from what we know, right, just based on the files, we know that Twitter is, was heavily involved with the government and not just heavily involved, but they were pretty much a right-hand man, the strong arm of the government with speech, right? Right. And we've always heard it's like, you know, this excuse has always been, oh, well, Twitter and Facebook and Instagram are a private company. They can censor speech if they want. But the reality of this is is that it wasn't really a private company that was censoring speech. It was the government of the United States that was
Starting point is 00:06:55 demanding they censor speech. Exactly. And when they came back to the government saying, you know, I'm not so sure about this. This is showing this way and not the way you're telling it. Now, I don't give a damn what you see or what it's showing. You're going to do it this way, period. It's almost like the
Starting point is 00:07:13 government did have a stronghold over Twitter. Even though they were a Democratic business or whatever. Yeah, 90% of their funds went to Democrats. Yeah, but they were still very strong held over, you know, FBI, DOJ, all of them,
Starting point is 00:07:29 had their spot telling them what to do and not to do, even though if they called out like, no, this is not, you know, actually like this, they didn't care. You know what I'm saying? Well, and look, here's part of the problem. I mean, and I think actually Twitter still kind of has this problem
Starting point is 00:07:45 is, you know, we found out through Twitter files and Elon Musk has fired quite a few of them. I don't think he has fired all of them and I don't think he knows all of them that are still involved in Twitter that are either ex-FBI or ex-D-O-J or ex-CIA guys that are probably put in place in these places. I don't think that these people that had positions and power of the government just went looking for jobs at Twitter and Facebook and Instagram. I think they were put in place. I think this was their next mission as part of the deep stuff. state government that says, hey, you guys are going to go work for Facebook and we are going
Starting point is 00:08:20 to plant you. We're going to infiltrate these companies and we're going to say you're head of intelligence for this company or your head of security and information or your head of this. There was an independent investigative report which came up with, I believe Facebook had a total, it's either 106 or 160 ex-intelligence agency employees at Facebook. That's just Facebook, right? Now, we know that Twitter was full of FBI and you name it that had high-ranking positions. And so now that you see the close working relationship,
Starting point is 00:08:59 I mean, when I say relationship, it was a relationship to a degree, but it was also the government saying, no, you're doing this. And it was a lot easier when you have your own boys in there that are in positions of power, right? For trust and safety, they would call them, directors, and all this BS.
Starting point is 00:09:17 So we know, based on an independent report, Facebook had this. We know that Twitter obviously had this issue. Obviously, Instagram is going to have the issue because of the fact that Facebook owns Instagram. I don't know about Snapchat. No one really gives damn about Snapchat, I guess. That's where all the teenagers are
Starting point is 00:09:31 and doing whatever the hell they're doing. And sending naked pictures and whatever. And but then you got TikTok. You know, I told you this today on the phone because we were just talking about this. But you have TikTok, and I was thinking, Like, is TikTok really, I mean, and I'm not saying that China may not be trying to spy and get information from TikTok.
Starting point is 00:09:52 I don't know. And that's very possible. But also, could it be the fact that TikTok is not able to be infiltrated like Facebook and Instagram and Twitter was? Is that why they want to ban TikTok more so? Possibly. I mean, it could be both, right? I mean, that makes sense. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:10 I mean, and if China has this, right? I mean, China can access information. And I think we kind of talked a little bit about this before. They're trying to say that China is going to access and somehow get secrets from people that use TikTok based on their terms of service and all this. I have a little different theory of this because if you really think about this, we don't even know how deeply involved the Chinese government is with Apple or with or with phones. Or even Samsung or anything. Because guess where these phones are made in China. Right.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Right. Right. So are you telling me that these phones have zero backtracking or linking to the Chinese Communist Party? There's no way. And you think about when you set up your phone, you've got to allow this, allow this, allow this, allow this, allow this. You have to allow these services to go into your phone to do these things and don't think that they already have everything they need. Oh, yeah. And so the TikTok thing, I just, I don't know. I don't necessarily buy that as much. I think, you know, anytime you hear a mass push for something like this from both sides, you should start kind of thinking. So let's just break this story down. And by the way, guys, Twitter is where you can find us on social media.
Starting point is 00:11:27 We really don't use Facebook that often anymore. I mean, we will if someone messages or whatever. But Twitter is where we post a lot. I mean, we post a lot on Twitter. Go follow us there if you want to see what we're posting. truthworldorder.com is our website. That is our website that, I mean, we do have Investigatorwithpodcast.com. But truthworldorder.com is where we're going to really start pushing content. We're going to, actually, our January 6th and what we really
Starting point is 00:11:56 think in all the videos we're trying to gather together, we're probably going to publish that episode on Truth World Order, because I'm telling you, they're going to come after anybody that is talking any shape, form, or fashion against the narrative of January 6th. So we've got to be careful with that on any platform. But we do need to discuss this because it's very important. I wish we could discuss it on this platform. I just don't think it's the smart thing to do.
Starting point is 00:12:19 It is. Yeah, because you see what they're doing with Tucker. You see going after him. I think it's going to be an episode we got to put over on truth world order.com. So guys, go sign up. There is a free option and there is a paid option. We will make that episode free. But it will at least be on our platform.
Starting point is 00:12:37 and that way you guys can hear our true thoughts on everything there because a lot of stuff that even now, I mean, we're not, we're not, we don't self-censor here, but we do a little bit to some degree because you kind of have to. I think things are getting at a fever pitch, especially the left and the deep state in the United States is losing their narrative. Their narrative on everything is crumbling. Finally, we do have a Congress at least that is really trying to call out this shit.
Starting point is 00:13:07 and they're trying to break down, you know, hey, let's open some investigations into all these things. COVID, the Twitter files, the, you name it. January 6th, January 6th, they're going after this. And so finally, we do have at least a Congressist trying to do something. But with that, though, you have the strong arm of the government and of the intelligence agencies that at this point, they don't give a damn what the public thinks. They have already put people in places of power and, you know, in leadership positions in these or in these departments like the FBI, like the CIA, like the DOJ, like the Pentagon, like all these other things. We've heard, many of you probably heard about the woke leaders in the military they are putting into place.
Starting point is 00:13:55 They're doing all this because you can't run a dictatorship or a communist government or if you're trying to get to that, right? which is why I think they're getting to that because of the one-world system they want to create and be able to implement. But you can't do that without leadership in these high positions. Now, I do think a lot of, I was talking about this today,
Starting point is 00:14:17 I think a lot of what we are finding out about conspiracy theories that are coming true or people that are just somehow these people are getting this information, getting all these things. I think there are whistleblowers from within. I think the CIA has them. I think the DOJ has them.
Starting point is 00:14:31 I think the FBI has them. I think they have sources. they're talking to because a lot of these guys in FBI and I mean they're not bad people. Yeah, they're not all bad. Let's just say that. No, they're not. No, they're absolutely not. And I mean, some of them are. And I think the higher up the leadership poll you go, probably the worst you're going to see. But there are a lot of guys that they're going to over the years or over however long this regime holds its power, because I think it's going to be a lot longer than we think they're going to try to just, you know, take out everybody that is non-consenting and they're
Starting point is 00:15:04 going to put in the, you know, the agents or whoever that is going to follow the narrative. So if there was any doubt that the Twitter files have struck a nerve and deep fear in the powers that be, today's disgraceful behavior by Democrats in a hearing feature in journalist Matt Taibi and Michael Schellenberger eviscerated it. Teibi and Schellibbe had not even uttered a word. yet when rankin member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee, Stacey Plaskett of the Virgin Islands, referred to the witnesses as so-called journalist in her open-in-statement. And the pair glanced at each other, clearly surprised and confused by the utterly unprovoked attack.
Starting point is 00:15:48 And it was like, these guys are, you know, just they're not Republicans, they're not conservatives, they're in here like, and then the very first thing that comes out is this. thing. And they literally looked to each other like, are you shitting me? Like this is what So, so this is how we're going to start our video. And I literally, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:16:11 I swear. See, this is the problem is I had this video teed up and I actually am getting these videos from Twitter. And then as soon as I go away from it for two seconds, they got to fix that. It completely just, we lose it. Well, that's phones from China for
Starting point is 00:16:28 China China But anyway So yeah So they were basically They go into here And they They go in here with courage to even go in here
Starting point is 00:16:44 To begin with Because they were a part of this big thing, right? Right They're the ones that actually released the files Well, you know Elon. And heavily investigating that Elon gave them the files
Starting point is 00:16:56 Well we don't know exactly who gave them the files See, that was another thing which we're going to cover as well. Oh, okay. Elon, yes, obviously, is the CEO. But number one, I don't think Elon knows anything or how to access all that, right? Because he's not, I mean, he's not an engineer. He don't know the systems. Someone, some engineers, some tech software developer, whoever, had to be able to access all this data.
Starting point is 00:17:19 And it's not Elon Musk is going to sit there on a computer saying, oh, here we go, here's where it is. No. They had to have worked with engineers, software. engineers that were able to show them all this data from, you know, however they, however they recovered this. So, but it was very interesting how the Democrats also then tried to ask what these journalists' sources were, which is illegal to do because it's constitutionally protected. Yeah, you tell them about that.
Starting point is 00:17:44 That's right. But let's hear Matt Teibi's epic comeback when Rankin Member Placett called them a so-called journalist. And this was kind of the opening argument from the Democrats. called journalist. But if we know his background, he's not a so-called general, like journalist.
Starting point is 00:18:02 General? General journalist. No, no, no. He's actually a very, a very well-awarded journalist. And we're about to hear what Matt Teabee said in response to Rankin member Plaskets. Basically,
Starting point is 00:18:16 shit show of an open-the-statement. So here you go. Let's check it out. The FTC has extraordinarily serious concerns about Twitter's handling of consumers' data and that there's something going on between congressional Republicans and Elon Musk. Mr. Chairman, Americans can see through this.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Musk is helping you out politically and you're going out of your way to promote and protect him and to praise him for his work. This isn't just a matter of what data was given to these so-called journalists before us now. There are many legitimate questions about where Musk got the finance.
Starting point is 00:18:56 to buy Twitter. We know this is because at the first hearing, the chairman claimed that big government and big theft colluded to shape and mold the narrative and suppress information and censor Americans. This is a false narrative. We're engaging in false narratives here, and we are going to tell the truth. I yield back. General lady yields back. I would just point out the consent decree was in our report. We offered your staff also the opportunity to review the FTC letters. You have not come over to review those letters. Third, the idea that I believe both of these individuals who are getting ready to testify, I believe they're both Democrats, the idea that two journalists who happened to be Democrat. Did you not give that offer at 8 o'clock last night?
Starting point is 00:19:37 I'm talking now. Your time was right. It was ended a few seconds ago. I don't think they're here to help us politically. I think they're here to tell us the truth. And oh, by the way, the first FTC letter to Twitter after the first set of Twitter file. the very first question was who are the journalists you're talking to. And you guys don't care. You don't care. You don't want the 2011 consent to create. You don't want the American people to see what happened.
Starting point is 00:20:12 The full video, transparency, you don't want that, and you don't want two journalists who have been named personally by the Biden administration FTC in a letter. The Biden administration is not the FTC. They're here to tell their story. and frankly, I think they're brave individuals for being willing to come after they've been named in a letter from the Biden FTC. Is this your question time now? No, I'm responding to your ridiculous statements you made in your opening statement.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Okay, well, let's get on with it. Chairman Jordan, Ranking Member Plaskett, members of the Select Committee, thank you for having me today. My name is Matt Taibi. I've been a reporter for 30 years and a staunch advocate of the First Amendment. Much of that time was spent at Rolling Stone Magazine. Ranking Member Plaskett, I'm not a so-called journalist. I've won the National Magazine Award, the I have Stone Award for Independent Journalism, and I've written 10 books, including four New York Times bestsellers. I'm now the editor of the online magazine racket on the independent platform substack.
Starting point is 00:21:14 I'm here today because of a series of events that began late last year when I received a note from a source online. It read, Are you interested in doing a deep dive into what censorship, of manipulation was going on at Twitter. A week later, the first of what became known as the Twitter files reports came out. To say these attracted intense public interest would be an understatement. My computer looked like a vagus lot machine as just the first tweet about the blockage of the Hunter Biden laptop story registered 143 million impressions and 30 million engagements.
Starting point is 00:21:48 But it wasn't until a week after the first report, after Michael Schellenberger, Barry Weiss, other researchers join the search of the files that we started to grasp the significance of this story. The original promise of the internet was that it might democratize the exchange of information globally. A free internet would overwhelm all attempts to control information flow. It's very existence a threat to anti-democratic forms of government everywhere. What we found in the files was a sweeping effort to reverse that promise and use machine learning and other tools to turn the internet into an instrument of censorship and social control. Unfortunately, our own government appears to be playing a lead role.
Starting point is 00:22:34 So there you go. So, yeah, the ranking member basically tried to discredit Matt Taibi, which obviously is a very trusted and accredited journalist. He is a Democrat. and he has zero to do with Republican Party. Why they are so pissed, number one, is because he, someone that is a part of their party and has always been so trusted as a journalist, which, by the way, what a journalist is supposed to do is find the truth.
Starting point is 00:23:03 That is what they are supposed to do. They are supposed to go investigate something, find the facts, and report them, right? That's what journalism has always been about. But unfortunately, as we have seen, especially the past three to four or five years, years, and it's been longer, it's been going for, I would say, eight to ten years, especially. But, you know, even 15 years ago, journalism was way better than it, than it is now. Nowadays, there's opinions, there's narratives, and it's not just opinions. You can have an opinion, I guess, as a journalist.
Starting point is 00:23:35 And we used to still see that somewhat, but it was very, very few and far between. But I think what we're seeing here now is that it's not about being a journalist anymore. There have been reporters that have been at MSNBC. There have been reporters that have been at CNN that have said after they had left these organizations, because, you know, when you get out of journalism school and you say go to a local market for a local news station or whatever, and then somehow you manage to get called up to a MSNBC or a CNN, obviously as a journalist that you want to do this, you're devoting your whole life to this. You go to college for this.
Starting point is 00:24:15 You work your ass off. And by the way, the local news journalist, it is a shitty job for most producers, journalists. It is a horrible job. Very long hours, low pay, and just it's not good. But so when you get called up to these massive organizations, of course you're like, oh my God, yes, I'm going to do it. Regardless of whatever your political beliefs may be or whatever that is. But then once you get in this system, this very, very corrupt system now, you start to see that, It's no longer about what you want to report or what you feel or how you think you should tell this story.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Many journalists have come out after the fact and said, it didn't make a damn what I thought the truth was or what I thought how we should have reported it. No, this was like you're going to report it this way, period. And this is how you're going to write it. Give me a story based on this narrative by two hours or tomorrow, whatever. So there's been a lot of people who's done this. And it's gotten so much worse as the time has went on. And as Matt Teabee just said, that the internet was supposed to be a good thing, right?
Starting point is 00:25:21 It was supposed to be a way that, you know, with the overwhelming interchange of information was to secure democracy to where a government or whoever could not overtake a narrative or an agenda because there was just going to be too much information and too many people in open discord and discussion that was always going to be able to see past any BS or propaganda or whatever. That is what a free press is. That is what a free information and freedom of speech really means. And as Matt TB pointed out, this is exactly what this government is doing to stop. This is literally why they are so against what is going on right now with people exposing this
Starting point is 00:26:05 because they know their plan is to stop freedom of speech, to stop narratives, and to stop all of these things that has to secure, it has to be there to have a democracy whatsoever, to have a freedom whatsoever, to have a free people. And they're trying to cut off the head of the, of the, I guess you would say the voice, which is the people. And that's what they're doing. And so these Twitter files, especially,
Starting point is 00:26:38 I read through them, and we're going to play another video here in just a second, a part of today, because it's all very important to play. But reading through these new files and basically what Matt Taibi also recently found out was that the FBI and the DOJ, they had an open, obviously, line of communication, pretty much had offices in Twitter to where they could, they were sending PDF files to Twitter of thousands and thousands and thousands of accounts that they said were misinformation. First it started with the election misinformation. Now, Matt Taeebe pointed out that, hey, there was some accounts in these that was trying
Starting point is 00:27:25 to trick people into voting a day later than the actual voting day, which sounds ridiculous. Right. I mean, it sounds ridiculous that, like, there were Twitter accounts that were trying to push people to vote the day after. And then they show up and they don't vote, right? Right. Well, I guess some people might think that because now voting is changed. It used to be that you voted on the day of voting, period. But now you have all these early votes coming in and you can vote a month ahead of time or whatever and send your ballot in and do this.
Starting point is 00:27:56 This is not the way voting is supposed to be. Yeah. Voting is supposed to be. go to the voting place on the day and you stand in line and you cast your vote, period. But now voting has changed so much because, in my opinion, is corrupt and that's a way to corrupt voting more. Yeah. So I could- confuse everything. I guess I could see somebody saying, oh, well, I can just, you know, cast my vote a day later.
Starting point is 00:28:22 I don't know. No, you're right. I mean, but it was just weird. You know, the fact that even said, okay, but Matt Taibi, in his defense, the sense, say some of these accounts that they pointed out, a few, were accounts that were trying to confuse voting days, right? So he wanted to at least acknowledge the fact that there were a few accounts that did try to do this.
Starting point is 00:28:43 But as he dug deeper and other journalists dug deeper in these accounts that they were trying to censor and silence were especially, it started to turn more into, they wanted to silence any possibility of anyone thinking that the election could possibly be, have any kind of of corruption stolen or anything. Now, we know for a fact that elections have never been fully non-corrupt. Right. We know that. That is a fact. Democrats have said it many times. Hillary Clinton said it during Trump's presidency. I mean, if we remember when Trump became president, Hillary Clinton and all the Democrats were saying that Russia collusion is how he became president. It was a big mass Russa collusion hoax, and they steered somehow interfered with election.
Starting point is 00:29:34 Election interference. That's what we heard the entire effing time. And then we get Twitter files come out about Russia collusion, which didn't exist. Yeah, it did not even exist. It was a bunch of lies. It was proven. So it didn't exist. They just wanted to say this to make it sound like, hey, this is horrible, you know, whatever.
Starting point is 00:29:57 So then we started seeing reports of in these files with the FBI and all this. And they were telling Twitter to say, look, anything vaccine, right? Got to talk about the vaccine. We cannot allow vaccine hesitancy. And so we believe that these, and there were, I believe, millions of tweets and otherwise taken down at the demand of, of the FBI and the government. And it even says in the emails, it says some of these tweets are misinformation, this information. And then it has a two or three sentence or maybe a paragraph type thing that says,
Starting point is 00:30:39 we also understand that many of these may be true statements, whether it be based on vaccine side effects, based on doctors or whatever or whatever. And some of these things may be true. Or it could be based on medical studies that they have printed, but we still want to these deleted because it'll cause vaccine hesitancy. The government was literally saying, don't give a damn if it's true. If it's going to cause us basically not to sell or not to get this vaccine into people's bodies, we want it gone.
Starting point is 00:31:13 I mean, if that doesn't tell you that whatever the, God, I want to cuss so bad, if that doesn't tell you whatever the agenda was to get vaccines and people was so desperate that they didn't give a damn whether it was true or not. They even said if it's true and can cause someone not to get the vaccine, take it out, gone, deleted, narrative gone. And literally this could have, you know, just that alone, someone's seen a tweet about someone dying or someone having this adverse side effect or whatever the case is, could have saved lives, but they instead wanted to delete any other discourse or narrative
Starting point is 00:31:53 or dissenting opinion or fact against their narrative. And that is proven in these Twitter files. So you can only imagine what you would see very much the same thing in Facebook. You would see very much of the same thing in Instagram. And by the way, we have not done this podcast yet, which we talked about. We're probably going to put it on our truthward order.com. But the Tucker Carlson January 6 videos,
Starting point is 00:32:17 Facebook and Instagram are already banning any videos that Tucker has released, period. True videos. These are actual videos. These are not actors that just acted and they videoed them. These are real videos like the shaman just walking in and the police
Starting point is 00:32:34 patting him on his bag. Escorting them all throughout the Capitol. This is crazy. Yeah, it's nuts. All right. So I do want to play this. Matt Taibi also Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other companies,
Starting point is 00:32:49 they basically developed a formal system taken in moderation request, right, from FBI, DHS, and whoever. And so I do want to play this clip too because this is also very important. And I'm just trying to outline and kind of highlight what kind of happened today. But here is this clip for you guys. Here you go. Chairman Jordan, Ranking Member Plaskett, members of the Select Committee, thank you for having me today. My name is Matt Taibi.
Starting point is 00:33:13 I've been a reporter for 30 years and a staunch advocate of the First Amendment. Much of that time has spent at Rolling Stone Magazine. Ranking member Plaskett, I'm not a social person. called journalist. I've won the National Magazine Award, the I.F. Stone Award for... Sorry, we've already heard a little bit of this. Sorry, let me fast forward this. Our own government appears to be playing a lead role. We saw the first hints in communications between Twitter executives before the
Starting point is 00:33:33 2020 election when we read things like flagged by DHS or police see attached report from FBI for potential misinformation. This would be attached to an Excel spreadsheet with a long list of names whose accounts were often suspended shortly after. Again, ranking member Plaskett, I would note that the evidence of Twitter
Starting point is 00:33:49 government relationship includes lists of 10 of thousands of names on both the left and right. The people affected include Trump supporters, but also left-leaning sites like consortium and truth out, the leftist South American Channel Telesaur, the Yellow Vest Movement. That, in fact, is a key point of the Twitter files, that is neither a left nor right issue. Following the trail of communications between Twitter and the federal government across tens of thousands of emails led to a series of revelations. Mr. Chairman, we summarized and submitted them to the committee in the form of a new
Starting point is 00:34:17 Twitter file stride, which was also released to the public this morning. We learned Twitter, Facebook, Google, and other companies developed a formal system for taking in moderation requests from every corner of government, from the FBI, the DHS, the HHS, the HHS, DOD, the global engagement center at state, even the CIA. For every government agency scanning Twitter, there were perhaps 20 quasi-private entities doing the same thing, including Stanford's election integrity partnership, News Guard, the Global Disinformation Index, and many others, many taxpayer funded. A focus of this fast-growing network, as Mike noted, is making lists of people whose opinions, beliefs, associations, or sympathies are deemed misinformation, disinformation, or malinformation. That last term is just a euphemism for true but inconvenient. Undeniably, the making of such lists is a form of digital McCarthyism. Ordinary Americans are not just being reported to Twitter for de-amplification or
Starting point is 00:35:09 be-platforming, but the firms like PayPal, digital advertisers like Xander, and crowdfunding sites like GoFundMe. These companies can and do refuse service to law-abiding people and businesses whose only crime is falling afoul of a distant, baseless, unaccountable, algorithmic judge. As someone who grew up, a traditional ACLU liberal, this mechanism for punishment and deprivation without due process is horrifying. Another troubling aspect is the role of the press, which should be the people's last line of defense in such cases. But instead of investigating these groups, journalists partnered with them. If Twitter declined to remove an account right away, government agencies and agencies, NGOs would call reporters for the New York Times, Washington Post, and other outlets, who in turn would call Twitter demanding to know why action had not yet been taken.
Starting point is 00:35:51 Effectively, news media became an arm of a state-sponsored thought policing system. I'm running out of time, so I'll just sum up and say, it's just not possible to instantly arrive at truth. It is however possible becoming technologically possible to instantly define and enforce a political consensus online, which I believe is what we're looking at. This is a grave threat to people of all political persuasions. the First Amendment and American population accustomed to the right to speak
Starting point is 00:36:16 is the best defense left against the censorship industrial complex. If the latter can knock over our first and most important constitutional guarantee, these groups will have no serious opponent left anywhere. If there's anything the Twitter file show, it's that we're in danger of losing this most precious right without which all democratic rights are impossible.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Wow. So the word of the day, everyone, is mal-information. Yeah, that's a new word. Yeah, we've heard disinformation, misinformation, misinformation, mal information. And let me tell you what the government considers mal information like Matt Taeebi just said. It is information that is true, but inconvenient. It is inconvenient to their narrative. Guys, listen, this is Mao information. It may be true, but we don't like it. So delete that also because it goes against our narrative. Guys, we are in communist China. Communist China is here. Like, I mean, maybe we should quit asking ourselves why China.
Starting point is 00:37:11 why China is allowed to buy up farmland in America and all of this shit. How is it so easy for a communist government like China to not only buy up farmland everywhere across the United States, but also to fly a freaking spy balloon across our entire continent for whatever reason? We have submitted and succumbed to the Chinese economy and global trading like we have never seen before. And now our agenda, our belief system, our everything, our system of government, our morals, our values, everything is now aligning with China. I mean, you know, we've said this on many podcast episodes before. And this is not a like, is China controlling the United States. But I remember a year ago or two years ago, we've said, like, is China like, is China like? actually, do they have people in our government that is controlling our government?
Starting point is 00:38:14 We've said this. Because there are just too many things that China is able to do inside of the United States, especially since the Biden administration has come to office, that is just weird. I mean, and regardless hate or love Trump, he sanctioned and heavily sanctioned countries like China. And he was bringing jobs back. He was bringing independence back as far as the United States. and he was building the economy and our independence on our own infrastructure. Like we've never, well, probably never seen before in a lot of ways.
Starting point is 00:38:49 And that's where it was certainly headed until COVID-19 came along, which came from China. Well, there you go. That supposedly got Donald Trump out of office and all that. And look, I'm not like a, I think there's one thing we've seen, especially with the January 6th follows, is like, you can easily tell. who the Republicans are that are doesn't matter if you're a Republican
Starting point is 00:39:14 or Democrat it matters about if you're a part of that deep state system and there are a lot of Republicans that are part of that as well absolutely
Starting point is 00:39:20 I mean we're seeing it just this week yeah absolutely and so this is just what we've talked about so far
Starting point is 00:39:31 is so disconcerning as far as our future in America I mean it is scary as hell it really is like we are here like I was
Starting point is 00:39:39 talking to you on the phone today, Sherry, and I said, you know, we were basically talking about all of this, but, you know, it's one of the things I said is like, I first said, we are so close to communism, and like to where it's like a dictatorship, a tyranny. I was like, no, I was like, we're not actually close. We're there. We're not close. We're here. There is no more freedom anymore. I mean, there were parts of files that, that I guess the government for accounts, personal accounts that had an opinion or something based on something they said about whether it was election or the vaccine or whatever the case was, that government organizations or departments
Starting point is 00:40:20 were showing up at people's houses and prosecuting people, which we are just starting to somewhat have an inkling of information about just because of Twitter files. And then you see how the Democrats in this hearing acted today. And that's what I just don't get because these Democrats that are like going against these people, they're not the deep state. They're not the people in control. So are they just so controlled that they're going to do and say anything that the deep state wants them to? I just don't understand they're thinking of where we're going and where they want us to go or where they want us to be. because to me, anyone that lives in America wants America to be a free country, I thought.
Starting point is 00:41:08 That's what America was built upon was our freedoms. And now these Democrats and people that, you know, just regular people that are not high, high, high up in our government are against anything that is freedom of speech. Yeah. And I just don't get their thought process if they're true Americans. No, well, they're not. I mean, like I said, these people are implanted, corrupt, very, very corrupt, and morally dispensed individuals. Do you think all of them are planted or do you think some of them just grew with the... I don't know about planted.
Starting point is 00:41:45 I have no idea. They're maybe going with the narrative so they can, you know, it's almost like a brown-nosing effect. Like, I'm going to do this so I can be in office or whatever. I just don't understand their thought process. I have no idea. Because it's a good point. They're just going against anything that is America. Humanity.
Starting point is 00:42:05 Yeah, I mean, it's just basic human rights to have access to information, to be able to speak, to be able to talk about, to have discourse, to have a dissenting opinion, to have another, you know, opinion of something else. And by the way, a lot of these, they're not opinions. They're facts. These are things. Right. And there's a big difference. Yeah, it's because of their very, very corrupt. plan and mission that they have been a part of for so long is now starting to crumble.
Starting point is 00:42:35 But when I say crumble, they're still, I believe, and this was my thought, and this is what I said to you today, I don't think they're going to give up power ever again. But obviously they're believing in this stuff. And how do they believe in this stuff, though? I just don't get it. Well, I don't know if they believe or not. I don't get this at all. Like how any human being that lives in America would want this other side to,
Starting point is 00:42:59 to go like this where we have no freedom of speech, no freedom of, we're a communist country. Why do they want to be, like, if they want to be like that, why don't they go do it a different country? I don't get it. So here's, so here's the answer to, I think, what you're asking. We know, number one, let's think about George Soros and how much money he is funded to just prosecutors in the United States
Starting point is 00:43:26 that let all the murders and anybody that, does anything bad against the United States go? These are very, they're not even woke. They are, I consider them terrorists of this country as prosecutors that are allowing vigilantes, allowing murderers,
Starting point is 00:43:45 allowing violent criminals on the streets to do whatever the freak they want to do. And those prosecutors are being funded by George Soros. Now, if you think about also the amount of funding, for example, which I think the entire FTX scandal was Sam Bankman-Fried with that whole deal with the crypto F-TX stuff and he was the second largest donor to Democrats
Starting point is 00:44:09 behind George Soros, right? And then now he's arrested. Not heard shit about that, by the way, since he's been arrested as of right now. But we do know that I think that was all one big scam for Democrats is what I believe with the Sam Bankman-Fried FTX. I think they set this up to be able to
Starting point is 00:44:28 have millions of dollars for campaigns and for whatever to get the people they needed to get in, regardless of whatever it was. And used him as the fall guy. And then you have George Soros as the number one. Yeah, you're right. And then use George Soros as the number one guy, which is George Soros is the number one funder of the Democrats. And we know that, you know, if you look at George Soros history and record, he is someone that loves to overthrow governments.
Starting point is 00:44:53 He loves to go into countries and nations and completely upend their, you know, their way of life, their system, their democracy, everything about them. He's done this for years and years and years and he's doing it very well in the United States. He's a huge part of this. So when you ask, you know, how do these Democrats believe this or think this is because of the funding and where the money goes to the extremist that really don't like America. Right. I think these people are putting, I mean, look at a lot of like the squad they used to call.
Starting point is 00:45:25 And I'm not saying anything about if you're not from United States and you live here. But I'm saying a lot of what, like, Taleb and a lot of these people always said was, you know, it was like Taleb used to support and defend ISIS and people like that. Right. You know, and a lot of these politicians that are funded by people like George Soros, they are very heavy on, let's burn American flags in the streets. Yeah, go do it. Let's defund the police and kill police. Let's do all of these things. and these are all supported by these Democrats
Starting point is 00:46:00 that are put in place by the very powerful elite globalist money, such as George Soros, Sam Bankman-Fried, and others that we probably don't even know about. So that's how they got an office. Yeah, so I guess you really did just answer my question. It's all based on money and greed. It doesn't matter about...
Starting point is 00:46:21 Well, anybody that is in office is based on the money. Yeah, it's money and greed. It's not based on money and greed. based on the fact that you want to stand for your country and what your country believes in and you want the citizens of your country to be free and have the best lives possible, it's all about greed for yourself and money for yourself. Yeah. Where it's coming from? And I hate to say this, but, you know, and I don't care if some people get mad,
Starting point is 00:46:47 but the reality is that Trump became president because of the overwhelming power of the people in that circumstance over money. Because we know that Hillary Clinton had endless amounts of money, and they always do. Nowadays, you've got the biggest elite, the biggest tech companies, and the biggest funding across the board by a long shot on the Democrat side. I'm talking about, think about the World Economic Forum, think about Davos Switzerland, think about all the global elites around the world that are the richest people in the world, at the biggest richest companies in the world, they all 100 almost percent funding. Democrats, right? They fund this deep state globalist agenda. And so when Trump became president
Starting point is 00:47:32 and why everyone was so out of their mind shocked that fact that he could even do this, somehow the power of the people came through here, right? I mean, because people were sick of this shit. Right. And then in my opinion, and I'm just going to go ahead and tell you this right now, because of what I've read through the Twitter files and how bad that the United States intelligence agencies and government wanted to censor anything that had to do with election or, sorry, stolen election or election or or or election corruption in the 2020 election, how bad they were going after people that would even think about saying that. Well, they did the same shit with COVID.
Starting point is 00:48:11 They did the same thing with anyone that said the vaccine might do this or you could, you could potentially cure COVID with this. And by the way, all of these things were true. And those are the people that government went after the most because it was the truth. The mal-information. Yes. But that's also why they went so hard against the election stolen or stolen election thing because they know that is like if it really gets out that that that happened, that the 2020 election was actually stolen by a system that was put in place, a very corrupt, overwhelming system of power and. mules and all the shit that they did with early voting and you name it, it would be disastrous
Starting point is 00:49:00 for the government because the people would rise up and say enough is enough. You're not going to take away our votes and all. They know, they know how dangerous the truth. If that is a truth. If that is the truth, right? And I'm saying if the election was stolen in 2020 and that got out, right? Say that, say that for example, Twitter had a. file that said their plan and how they did this.
Starting point is 00:49:27 It would be a civil war. It would be. And they know that. But, and I'm not going to tell you in my opinion, but I'm sure you probably know my opinion. Yeah. And that's why they're going against anything that has to do with these files coming out with Twitter because they know it is very dangerous. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Because if the truth gets out, the real truth gets out, maybe people are going to start opening their eyes and believing the truth. Well, the truth is flowing out right now, and there's still a lot of dissenting thing, but there's still a lot of government power. The government is holding on to this narrative with power. They're holding on to this with intelligence agencies, with the power of the government. You know, there was something that was said, and maybe you'll hear this in a minute, but there was something that was said in the hearings today that I think Jim Jordan said or whoever, I don't remember who it was. But they said, You know, whatever happened to the United States and using intelligence agencies like the DOJ and the and the DOD and the CIA and the FBI to go after terrorists like FBI or like pretty much, yes. Like ourselves. You're right. But like ISIS or like Russia or like worrying about foreign adversaries, which is what for the most part these intelligence agencies were created for. But no, we're using our intelligence agencies to go after our own people.
Starting point is 00:50:53 And that is, listen, make no mistake about this. I mean, I don't know how else to say this. When you use your government power and military or even more dangerous, in my opinion, intelligence agencies to go after your own people, well, you have to go to either communist China, North Korea, you know how people disappear if you dissent to the government, or you can go back to Hitler days, right? You were a certain, you weren't a certain race or whatever the case is.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Well, nowadays, you're not a certain belief or ideology. I mean, and a lot of that goes along the lines of religion. You know, they consider a lot of conservatives as religious people, Christians, or probably Jews. There's a lot of conservatives. There are Jews as well. Or whatever. And so it's not far off. I don't give a damn what anybody says.
Starting point is 00:51:50 we're not crazy far from that. Like, if a government right now can stand and can have hearings with their own journalists that are Democrats, and not just that, but like when proof is in front of your face, then there are people releasing videos, and they're coming out and saying, you know what, F you people of America, we don't give a damn what you think. But we're going to tell you what you're going to believe. And this is malinformation. Yeah. So what makes that scary is what if they just start?
Starting point is 00:52:20 taking people, groups of people and murdering them, right, because of their beliefs. Are they going to go on TV and say, and CNN and whoever's going to say,
Starting point is 00:52:31 well, that's not true. They didn't do that. Yeah, even though it's right there on a video. And say this on a video showing them executing people. They're like, yeah, that's not true. That's my information. These were terrorists.
Starting point is 00:52:42 These people were terrorist, a.k.a. maybe they're Trump supporters. Maybe they're conservatives. Maybe they're Christians. Maybe they're Democrats. with files that they don't want them to come out with. Or whoever. Yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Or journalist. But it doesn't matter because the way the narrative is now in the United States is, as long as the government says, nope, that's not happening. I mean, I know you saw the video on it, but no, it doesn't matter if you believe it or not. We're just saying no and you're going to freaking behave or we're just going to, like Biden said, use F-15s and nuclear bombs on you. Because you can't beat us. You can't beat us. And I still go back to that statement that Biden said, Oh, you need your AR-15s?
Starting point is 00:53:25 Well, guess what? You better have some F-15s and nuclear bombs to fight the government. You told that to his own people. And, like, even though he's a fucking idiot, that is a very telling statement as far as this government's thinking. I mean, it really is. It is a very telling statement that they would nuke your ass or use F-15s to blow your ass up
Starting point is 00:53:48 if you ever dissent against this guy. government. And that is where we're at right now. I want to play this next clip. This is a very tense back and forth as Democrats try to get Matt Taibi to release his sources for the Twitter files. So here you go. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:54:08 There we go. Okay. Are you going to play? Oh, my God. Sorry, guys. I'm trying. There we go. Mr. Taiibi, I want to follow up a little bit on the ranking members' questions. What was the first time that Mr. Musk approached you about writing the Twitter files?
Starting point is 00:54:31 Again, Congresswoman, that would... I just need a date, sir. But I can't give it to you, unfortunately, because this is a question of sourcing, and I don't give them. I'm a journalist. I don't reveal my source. It's a question of chronology. No, that's a question of source. Because you earlier said that someone had sent you through the Internet some message about whether or not you would be interested in some information.
Starting point is 00:54:53 Yes, and I refer to that person as a source. So you're not going to tell us when Musk first approached you? Again, Congressman, when you're asking you're asking a journalist to reveal a source. So then you consider Mr. Musk to be the direct source of all this? No, now you're trying to get me to say that he is the source. I just can't answer your question. If you're telling me you can't answer because it's your source, well then that the only logical conclusion is that he is, in fact, your source.
Starting point is 00:55:22 Well, you're free to conclude that. Well, sir, I just don't understand. You can't have it both ways, but let's move on. No, he can't. He's a journalist. No, he can't because either Musk is the source and he can't talk about it or Musk is not the source. And if Musk is not the source, then he can discuss his conversations with the source. You don't get to speak.
Starting point is 00:55:39 And she's out of order because he's not recognized. General A is not recognized. But he's not said that. But he has said is he's not going to reveal his source. And the fact that Democrats are pressuring him to do so is such a lot of a reason. We're asking him about his conversations with must. The gentlelady has not yet. God.
Starting point is 00:55:57 Yeah. I mean, that is what happened today with two journalists that are simply reporting the truth. Facts. Emails. Showing emails. And by the way, the first open a statement of whatever the hell her name is, and I cannot remember now, I don't care. The one that told Matt Taibi, so-called journalist, is what she called him.
Starting point is 00:56:21 trying to discredit him and said, you are pushing false narratives and, you know, very much of the same thing we heard during the pandemic and during all of that about your false narrative, misinformation, disinformation, all this bullshit. And I'm getting very passionate because I've been pissed off about this all day. I have been. Like, watching this have pissed me off. Yeah. Because like, and look, we all, we know, we know how corrupt and effed up this government is.
Starting point is 00:56:49 We know. I don't think we truly really fathom how bad it is. But yeah, I mean, but then for her to try to say the opening girl that we first played the video to say, oh, you're pushing a false narrative. You're pushing a false narrative. This is lies that you were telling to an American people, right? Okay. Think about what they said about that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:15 then think about what the government said to anyone, including very, very prominent physicians, such as Dr. Peter McCollah, such as Robert Malone, which is one of the inventors of MRNA, such as so many other doctors that are cardiologists and this and this and all these people got banned and censored and all this shit. And guess what the government said then? Well, they're pushing false narratives and misinformation and disinformation. What they really should have said was malinformation, because it's, It was non-convenient to their narrative. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:57:50 They should have just said the word malinformation. Like, just go ahead and tell everyone this is... It's inconvenient. I love this word because this is the truth about everything that's been happening the last two years. This is not misinformation or disinformation. This is all mal-information for their agenda. Yeah, it is. And so now we're seeing a government that has now...
Starting point is 00:58:15 Talked about them in the pandemic this way. Tucker Carlson has released a January 6th, some very little of the January 6th footage, which I believe he's going to keep dropping footage to show that narrative. And guess what they're saying about that? Same thing. They're saying he's pushing a false narrative. And last night, I think it was last night or the night before, we were kind of worried about it because we had seen them saying,
Starting point is 00:58:40 it was Chuck Schumer saying, Fox do not let this guy come back on and show these hours of footage that is false information. You cannot let him do this. You're showing people false stuff, even those real videos of real people and real police officers in the Capitol. And I was a little bit nervous because we're like, oh my gosh, you know, Tucker's probably going to get canceled. Their fox is not going to let them back on, remember? And I think that's still a threat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Because I will tell you, Fox News is no other show is covering anything about those tapes. No other show besides Tucker. So Tucker, I hope his integrity is going to be strong enough to where... To withhold these people. No, to where he says, I don't give a damn. I'm going to keep reporting this. And if you want to fire me, fire me. But that's going to be on you.
Starting point is 00:59:31 And he knows if Fox News fired Tucker Carlson or he just didn't show up one day, Fox is gone. And that helps the Democrats as well, though, because then, Then one of the last remaining sources of information for a particular side of the political fence is gone. O-A-N-N is already being sued. Newsmax is being taken off channels. Fox News now is being sued by Dominion Voting Company for billions of dollars to try to basically execute them out of existence based on what they reported on Dominion voting machines, which what it sounds like some of the stuff they reported allegedly is potentially true. as far as connectivity to the internet and all these things that he said didn't exist.
Starting point is 01:00:15 And I actually commented today on Adam Kinsinger, or no, it was Adam Schiff, that piece of shit. But I commented on one of his tweets, and I said, he said something about, you know, people like Fox News and all that, they need to be sued into oblivion to where they can never spread lies and false narratives ever again. And I was like, and I commented, I said, my comment on his thing was, I was like, isn't it funny that you are so, so much for pro censorship, right? And so the fact that you want them to attempt to sue a news organization out of existence because they have an opinion or another narrative or dissenting opinion based on what every other news station says based on propaganda. But I said, but. Based on the Twitter files, dot, dot, dot, I would love to know the government's involvement in the Dominion voting suit against Fox News. I would love to see those. I would love to see those emails and correspondence telling Dominion, hey, Sue Fox News for this Billions will fund you to have whatever we need. Exactly. Dominion, you're also going to sue my pillow guy because he's annoying his shit at 11 o'clock at night.
Starting point is 01:01:32 And he's saying that, you know, whatever. Right. Even though he's got a pretty common voice. It makes you want to order a pillow. Or a mattress or sheets or Or geese a dream sheets and yeah all that stuff So yeah I mean it is getting to the point of nuts I mean it's nuts
Starting point is 01:01:55 Now I want to play another Another clip for you guys because I love this This is just I want to catch you guys up of what really happened today But Debbie Wasserman Schultz had an epic fell today, I guess, in Congress. She's another Democrat that was questioned Matt Taimi about some comment he had said. And I say it Epic Fell, but it's some comment she wanted to bring up of something he said on the Joe Rogan podcast. And it's only about a minute-long clip.
Starting point is 01:02:30 But let's hear what she had to say and what Matt Tauby's response was. Here you go. came Elon Musk's hand-picked journalists, and pardon the oxymoron. You stated this on Joe Rogan's podcast about being spoon-fed information, and I quote, I think that's true of any kind of journalism, and you'll see it behind me here. I think that's true of any kind of journalism. Once you start getting handed things, then you've lost. They have you at that point, and you've got to get out of that habit.
Starting point is 01:02:57 You just can't cross that line. Do you still believe what you told Mr. Rogan? Yes or no? Yes or no. yes Mr. Taibi would you care to I'm down here on this end sir
Starting point is 01:03:10 I'm would you care to respond to the attack on your ethics you know weren't given really an opportunity to answer and if you be brief I've got a bunch of stuff I want to ask you as well sure just quickly that moment on the Joe Rogan show I was actually recounting a section from Seymourche's book
Starting point is 01:03:26 reporter where he described a scene where the CIA gave him a story and he was very uncomfortable he said that I who had always gotten the secrets was being handed the secrets. Look, again, I've done lots of whistleblower stories. There's always a balancing test that you make when you're given material and you're always balancing newsworthiness versus the motives of your sources.
Starting point is 01:03:49 In this case, the newsworthiness clearly outweighed any other considerations. And I think everybody else who worked on the project agreed. Yeah, so from the very beginning, Debbie Wasserman Schultz there said, Elon Musk hand-picked journalists once again referring to
Starting point is 01:04:09 Matt Taibi and Schellenberger and she goes on to ask this question about what he said on a Joe Rogan podcast about
Starting point is 01:04:18 something in a book about this journalist that was I used to find the secrets and then the CIA
Starting point is 01:04:24 started hand me the secrets right? And so she was trying to ask a question to try to pin him on some BS.
Starting point is 01:04:31 But what it really meant was is that, yeah, basically what Twitter was doing was being handed the narrative, the secrets. And so, yeah, your point is exactly what we're talking about today. Yep. I mean, that's literally what he said.
Starting point is 01:04:47 Yeah, she got hit in the face with the pie. Yeah. But the problem is that this whole situation is very, very, very bad. Now, there is another, let's see, This is not a very long one either, but this is when Jim Jordan ruthlessly shuts down a squilling House Democrat. Let's, we got to play this too, because I just got to get all this out. Twitter. And even with Twitter, you cannot find about Twitter.
Starting point is 01:05:22 Twitter. And even with Twitter, you cannot find actual evidence of any direct government censorship of any lawful speech. And when I say lawful, I mean non-criminal speech, because plenty of speech is non-criminal. I'll give you one. The gentleman's time to expire. I'd ask you an amiss consent to enter into the record the following email from Clark Humphrey, Executive Office of the Presidency, White House Office, January 23rd, 2021. That's the Biden administration, 439 a.m. hey folks this goes to
Starting point is 01:06:01 Twitter hey folks wanted to use the term Mr. Mr. Goldman just used wanted to flag the below tweet and I'm wondering
Starting point is 01:06:11 if we can get moving on the process for having it removed ASAP Boom That is Could you read the below tweet?
Starting point is 01:06:21 And then if we can keep an eye out for tweets that fall in this same genre genre that would be great this is a tweet on the very issue that Thomas Mr. Massey brought. For the fullness of
Starting point is 01:06:31 the record, can you read the, because I've not seen this, can you read the tweet that it's referencing? I don't have the tweet here with me, but the gentleman's point was you said no time did government try to tell Twitter to take that, to explicitly remove something and... No, I said explicitly move
Starting point is 01:06:47 lawful speech. Lawful speech. We're going to conflate. The First Amendment does not, is not absolute. This is something from Robert Kennedy, Jr. But for the record... I assume. That's a point of order, Mr. Chair. Because Robert Kennedy Jr. Senator, that's why it's lawful speech. Just a minute.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Just a minute, Mr. Goldman. All I'm saying is, you said, in no time did the government explicitly say to take a tweet down here we have it right here. Mr. Chair. They couldn't even wait two days. Two days into this administration. They were asked Twitter to take something down and we will get you the underlying tweet. Thank you. I recognize the gentlelady from New York.
Starting point is 01:07:20 Will you place it into the record as well, sir? The underlying tweet? Robert Kennedy Jr. He's talking about Hank Aaron's death after he received the vaccine. Yeah, so there's something to heavily point out here. This Democrat lawmaker was saying lawful speech. Okay, well, we know that millions of tweets were taken down on behalf of the government. And so you're telling me millions of tweets are not lawful.
Starting point is 01:07:54 I think what he really means is any misinformation, disinformation, or malinformation are no longer lawful? Yeah. When did that happen? Right. What makes speech lawful or not? Yeah, I mean, that's the question. Well, okay. Well, no, there is a very definitive theory of that, right?
Starting point is 01:08:16 Which is, you know, things basically you could be sued for and win against unless you can prove it necessarily, but, you know, for example, defamation of character and stuff like it, but that's a civil thing, right? It's not a criminal offense if you defame someone necessarily. You can be sued by that. But freedom of speech is based on opinions, right? And that's what freedom of speech has always been. I want to give my opinion on what I believe about this. And you don't go to jail for that in a free country based on what you want to say, right? So a unlawful speech would be something like saying that you want to
Starting point is 01:08:57 kill or a threat of violence, right? So a communicating threat. Something that the police can come to your house and arrest you for. So say that me and you are arguing. You record me say, I want to kill you, right? And I'm going to kill you or whatever. I just recorded you, babe.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Oh, whatever. Shut up. And then the cops well, I have the rest of the record an asshole. But then the cops come. Now you're about to make me, you're about to make me communicate a threat with you right now. No, but anyways, then the cops show up and you say,
Starting point is 01:09:29 here's him saying he want to kill me, right? I can be arrested for that. That's a criminal offense. Or excitement of a riot or, you know, certain things like this. These are all things that are very criminally coded as what constitutes a lawful
Starting point is 01:09:45 speech versus unlawful. But what these Democrats are trying to say is basically any miss or dis or mal information is unlawful. They're trying to just roll this into, this is all unlawful. If you say something that is wrong or against our narrative, it is unlawful. That is what he was trying to portray there. That is what he was saying. So if I said vaccines are bad, he's saying that's unlawful speech. Probably. That sounds like. But it is lawful because it's my opinion and it's not causing a threat or malice on somebody,
Starting point is 01:10:19 I guess. I'm just trying to... Well, basically anything that... you could be arrested for by the police would be a something against freedom of speech, right? I mean, that's why, like, some of these cop people on YouTube that you might watch that go out and, and they record random bullshit in public, and then they just wait for the cops show up and then, or some of these people will, like, flip off the cops or say, F the police or all this stuff. But they can do that. They can legally do that. But some cops do end up arresting these people. And guess what? These cops get, they're asked, the department. gets their ass sued for millions of dollars based on unlawful arrest, and usually they win.
Starting point is 01:10:59 The people, whoever does it. And these people know this. They know the laws. This is the laws of speech, freedom of speech. But yet in the government, according to the government, the laws of freedom of speech don't exist anymore if it's against the narrative of what the government says. And that is exactly the biggest takeaway from that last clip was that, I believe, unlawful. This has got to be lawful speech. There's not very much unlawful speech.
Starting point is 01:11:23 I mean, very little unlawful speech. 97% of speech is lawful. I mean, there's only that like 2 or 3% that is unlawful. Well, I'm just saying if you can have people that are like with ISIS and real terrorists on any kind of platform and they've never been outed. Well, they're not subject to the United States laws. Yeah, but they're not been outed by misinformation or disinformation or hate speech. Yeah. But they're doing this against doctors.
Starting point is 01:11:53 and anyone else that is going against their agenda. Yeah, I get that this is just, like, ridiculous. What absolutely is. We're going to play another clip. This is Mike Johnson. Twitter was basically an FBI subsidiary. So let's see what he says. Carefully in the Twitter files are a couple of key facts.
Starting point is 01:12:11 People hear a lot of things today, but this is what they need to know. The federal government from Democrat members of Congress to intelligence agencies, including the FBI, used Twitter and other social media companies to censor Americans' speech. if the alarm bells are not going off, then you're not paying attention. Over the past three years, documents show they prove what you guys have uncovered here. There's communication between Twitter and the FBI. It was constant. It was pervasive.
Starting point is 01:12:33 Twitter was basically an FBI subsidiary before Elon Musk took it over. The Twitter files revealed that by 2020, Twitter was engaged in open information sharing with the intelligence community, and now we know there were many intelligence agencies apparently involved in this. The FBI pressured Twitter to act on election-related tweets leading up to the 2022 election. Of course, they did it in 2020 as well. And Twitter dutifully censored content as a result. Twitter executives restricted accounts, they censored speech that conflicted with the less narrative. Twitter has used its internal tools to control and manipulate speech considered misinformation,
Starting point is 01:13:02 and who was determining that? It was the government bureaucrats. Documents show that Twitter used visibility filtering to restrict certain accounts and post and removed people from the platform altogether. The Twitter files should be a matter of bipartisan concern for every member of Congress and every American citizen because it is a bedrock principle of our constitutional system that the government does not get to decide what speech is acceptable or true. under the First Amendment, Americans have a right to speak freely, regardless of whether their speech upsets the preferred narrative. In fact, that's when it needs the most vigorous protection. Everybody on the left used to believe in that, or at least they purported to.
Starting point is 01:13:31 Government and media fact checkers frequently get things wrong. The American people can't and shouldn't rely on so-called experts to be the arbiters of truth, disinformation boards, and the like. It doesn't matter what political party you're in. Government should not suppress important debates in public discourse. Yeah, so I don't know. I'm pretty sure he does not talk that fast. But yeah. He might because I talk pretty fast, too.
Starting point is 01:13:51 he had a really good point. Yeah, he does. And we actually kind of led into that unknowingly pretty well. That freedom of speech is freedom of speech. I mean, with the few exceptions like what we were just talking about. And not only is the government trying to decide what freedom of speech is, not trying to decide, they're saying that basically no speech is free anymore unless it is with what they want and to tyrannize and control the people.
Starting point is 01:14:17 I mean, we are, this is unprecedented that we are seeing this. live on television and in video that the government is sitting here admitting that they are now a dictatorship tyrannical government. That is nothing more than what we were seeing here. But I just wonder how many people actually like see these hearings, watch these hearings, or even know about these hearings? You know, out of like even in the United States of America, for example, how many people, what percentage of these people even know these hearings are going on right now? Well, probably not a lot.
Starting point is 01:14:56 I mean, the reality of this whole situation is that they don't, well, mainstream media, the ones that are on the side of these people, these government politicians that are mostly on the Democrat side, and also someone probably the right, which are not going to speak up and not is not going to say anything. They're just as part of a system as a lot of the Democrats. on the left. But, I mean, you know, the mainstream media is not going to cover this. And if they do, they're going to slant the coverage geared for the Democrats and the people that are going against the absolute hardcore facts in files, video, testimony, whatever. I mean, and so it's going to be slanted.
Starting point is 01:15:41 So what your mother that is 70 years old or 60 years old or 80 years old might see about this on their nightly news, there's 6 o'clock news, which a lot of all. older people watch that nightly news, which we've all been accustomed to growing up to see. Right. We didn't used to have as many accesses to news as we do now. So, you know, I remember me growing up. My mom used to watch nightly news, NBC nightly news, all this shit. And it would be covering the biggest stories.
Starting point is 01:16:10 And so they still do this, but they now is just completely slanted, completely propaganda. And it has been a system of mind manipulation over the years to make you believe that these these institutions such as NBC Nightly News and ABC World News and all this shit is believable, trustworthy, and now you are at a point where these 60, 70, and 80-year-olds, and there's a lot of them out there, by the way. Yeah, the baby, the worst. That six, you know, that six o'clock news, that seven o'clock news, that CNN, that whatever they watch, yeah. And so you have so many people that are snowed nowadays because they just, they're not on, they're not, They're not, I guess, tech savvy enough to access true information.
Starting point is 01:16:56 Right. To actually go to these hearings and listen for themselves from the beginning to the end. Yeah. Like they're just going to hear clips if they hear anything about this. Yeah. And that's the thing is I think about normal Americans, normal people that are living, their normal everyday lives that are not so into these kind of things that go to work, come home, you know, do laundry, cook dinner. they have no idea what's going on behind the scenes
Starting point is 01:17:25 like this stuff. Yeah, they have no idea. And that's the saddest part. And by the way, I want to make a point to what you just said, and you're right. I think you make a really good point. And this is why I want to take the time to say this. Guys, for those of you that listen to our podcast, and we have a lot of people around the world listen to this episode,
Starting point is 01:17:44 to this podcast in general. But I want to challenge each and every one of you. and I know that, and obviously you guys listen to us, it means the world to us. But I want to challenge each and every one of you to share this episode or share any of our episodes with someone that you've never shared this episode with. Share it on your Facebook timeline or your Twitter or your Instagram or talk to your friend at work about it tomorrow or whatever the case is. Tell them about us.
Starting point is 01:18:13 And even if you don't tell them about us, it would help us, obviously. If every one of you did this, it would just like exasperate this message. But regardless, I want you to go share at the very least this message or our podcast or our name with someone you know tomorrow. I challenge each and everyone you do this. I sound like a pastor. I know you really do. I challenge each and everyone of you to go talk about God tomorrow with one of your friends. But listen.
Starting point is 01:18:39 I think the reason why you're saying that is because of my point that. Yes, this is exactly what I'm saying. Normal everyday people are not seeing this stuff. They don't know anything about it. Yeah, and that's why I say I challenge you guys. Obviously, it would help us as well. But it's going to help whoever you share this with. And maybe some of the people you might share it with hate us or whatever.
Starting point is 01:18:59 Maybe they may not believe in whatever. Maybe just pick an episode that you like us the most on and share what we talk about to them. I guess to your point, too, is just to open more eyes up. Yes, absolutely. little bubbles that go to work, go to the gross store, pick up their dinner, eat, do their laundry, go to bed, and repeat. You know, there's so many people out there that don't have access, but there are some people that really don't even care either.
Starting point is 01:19:27 But there are some people that would probably care if they knew. Yeah. And I guess my point to this is, guys, and we're about to get to another clip because this is very important clip as well. But the point to this is, is that we, you guys, that. are listening right now are the only people we have as far as information. I mean, yes, you guys might have some other sources you listen to or whatever. But we, as a family, the guys that listen to us, for those of you that have been listening to us for any amount of time, we have to be each other's
Starting point is 01:19:57 support and each other's marketing and each other's message and each other's everything, because there's no help we're going to get outside of anything because of what we talk about. So it is up to you guys. It is a message that we have to get out. And that power, with how much this message gets out lies in your hands. And that's all I want to say. It's Sherry made me think about that. But it's very true. Share it with someone that listens to ABC Nightly News every night.
Starting point is 01:20:22 Or share an episode with someone that listens to something like that. Please do that because it'll help. But I want to play this clip too. This is Matt TB on the Twitter censorship, but he says that they don't believe that ordinary people can handle difficult truths is what they're saying. Check this out. Quickly, we found just yesterday a tweet. from the virality project at Stanford, which was partnered with a number of government
Starting point is 01:20:48 agencies on Twitter, where they talked explicitly about censoring stories of true vaccine side effects and other true stories that they felt encouraged hesitancy. Now, the... Cistering true? Yeah, so they use the word true three times in this email. And what's notable about this is that it reflects the fundamental misunderstanding. of this whole disinformation complex, anti-disinformation complex, they believe that ordinary people can't handle difficult truths. And so they think that they need minders to separate out things
Starting point is 01:21:25 that are controversial or difficult for them. And that's, again, that's totally contrary to what America's all about. This is thought police. This is what this is. As Matt Taibi just said, they had, we talked about earlier, they were saying censor and silence truth as well. Truth that is
Starting point is 01:21:47 inconvenient to us. That's really what it is. But what they are being is thought police. And something that Matt Taibi and Michael Schellenberger actually made a very good point on, we've all heard about
Starting point is 01:21:58 the military industrial complex. Well, this is the censorship industrial complex is what we are facing. It is a massive, heavily funded you know, complex, much like you would say the military industrial complexes. Think about the military industrial complex.
Starting point is 01:22:17 Now, think about what, if you guys have not heard our Dr. Peter McColle interview, guess what he said about what COVID and all that? You remember what the word was? Biopharmaceutical industrial complex. And that's 100% true. Think about all the money that is pharmaceutical. Think about all the money that influenced everything that happened over the past three years during the pandemic and the narrative and everything to shape that. Then think about all the wars and all the craziness we have got into because of the military industrial complex, which is all heavily funded by weapons companies and companies that make billions and if not trillions of dollars on wars. If they don't have wars, they don't have unrest, they don't make money.
Starting point is 01:23:01 And these massive, massive big companies, which have global. elites in control of a lot of these and heavily funded by those don't make money without wars. Well, now you have the censorship industrial complex and they, without censorship, cannot carry out their mission on any of these things. So the fact that they are going so hard on censorship can hurt all of the other complexes. I'm talking about military industrial complex, biopharmaceutical industrial complex. It is hurting every industry that they are heavily. making money on based on bullshit propaganda and lies for money making.
Starting point is 01:23:39 That is such a great point. And so censorship industrial complex is probably going to set up as to be the most powerful because it affects all of them. Now the military industrial complex doesn't affect the biopharmaceutical complex, right? They really don't have much together, right? It doesn't matter what one is the other. But the censorship industrial complex, people saying the truth or whatever the case is, that affects all of the complexes.
Starting point is 01:24:10 That affects all of the lies, all of the corruption. And this is going to be something that we're going to see the most heavy hand of the government come down on like we've never seen before. And it's going to get scary. It's going to be tyrannical. It's going to be dictatorshiply. That's not a word, but it sounds good. We had to talk about this tonight because. because this is a scary, scary time that we're going through.
Starting point is 01:24:39 We did play some clips to you guys, and I hope that we tried to, I guess, round up the clips that made the most sense about kind of to shape really how this thing went. And there are other clips out there. There was a lot more to what happened. Even on them trying to get him to reveal his sources, there was multiple House Democrats that did everything in any way possible to try to implicate Elon Musk. as being the source. And there's a reason for that, because they want to make it out like this evil billionaire genius is a evil, like, cult leader. I mean, that's what they want to make Elon Musk out to be. And so that's why so bad they wanted to pin Elon Musk as saying that he handpicked this and he has a narrative and he's trying to just dictate government.
Starting point is 01:25:35 No, this is just truth. And listen, like a few of you have said on our Twitter, you've talked to us or whatever, said, oh, Elon Musk is a global elite too. Don't even believe him or whatever. Bullshit, okay, I don't, regardless of whether he is or isn't, I don't, first of all, I don't think he is. And number two, I think anyone that's going to buy a social media company, which Elon. Which Elon Musk said the other day, he said, well, it turns out they actually made me buy it, so here I am. But the fact is that when Elon Musk did say that, like, I felt like I had to do this to ensure the future of our civilization, I 100% agree with that. Oh, I do too.
Starting point is 01:26:20 And like I said, he lost a bunch of money doing this, but he did that not for his own gain or his own benefit. He did that to help our civilization, to help continue their freedoms that we have. have you know what's funny is like a week after he bought twitter and for all that money it says Elon must falls from the top spot of world's richest man you know they yeah but now he's already back yeah he's already back to the richest guy again like how is that dude like that's crazy like we need to start a rocket company yeah seriously i mean we probably would not go as far maybe but you know did you ever have a rocket in school did y'all ever do rockets no you never done a rocket experiment where you had to build a rocket and you had to launch it at like high school?
Starting point is 01:27:10 What with like Alka sauce or something? No, like a real rocket. No. Oh, that's weird. Well, we had that anyways. All right, guys, it's been an hour and a half, but there's so much, there was just so much to talk about tonight. This should be very concerning for every single American, not just America, man. We talk about this all the time.
Starting point is 01:27:28 If you're anywhere, this should be concerning because America is the beacon of hope of freedom. and freedom is is is is is is vanishing that light in the lighthouse of freedom is fading yeah it is it is fading fading man it's about to go out we got to light that torch back up and and none of those none of those countries that depend on that light to see their freedom are going to now be able to see that anymore they're going to be in the dark and and and that's the scary analogy of where we're at and uh it's it's it's it's it's one of the scariest times of our country. It is the reason why so many wars have been fought. So many of our soldiers have died. I mean, this is what you got to think about. Think about all
Starting point is 01:28:15 of the soldiers that we've always been told the narrative by our government that these soldiers go overseas and they join the military. And yes, your son and daughter did die, right, in war, but they died for your freedom. Well, what are they doing? Are you, like, what are they, what are what did they die for now? Because now we're all of a sudden not being free. The government wants to control everyone and you want to erase every single death in our military that has ever been done for freedom. You're just basically shitting on them and saying, well, we don't really actually give a shit about freedom unless it has to do with our narrative that we want to go destroy or bomb another country. Like, let's just say how big of a piece of shit you are the government,
Starting point is 01:28:55 because that's what we're seeing. And I'm fucking sick of it. And that's all I'm saying. I've thought about this all day So I'm sorry if I cuss And sorry if you had a kid But um You're not sorry if you have a kid But if your kid's listening No sorry if you have a kid
Starting point is 01:29:10 No we're actually are sorry I'm just kidding No I'm absolutely kidding So sorry But listen If you have a kid I'm Garen freaking T and you That if they have TikTok
Starting point is 01:29:22 Or any of these other apps They have heard the word fuck Because China is gonna make sure They hear the word fuck All right, guys. That's going to do it for this one. I got a little heated. But listen, guys, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:29:37 Just pray, I guess, and do whatever you do. Do your rain dance or freedom dance. Do your freedom dance. I don't know what that means. Yeah, we need to make a freedom dance. A new song, Freedom Dance. Well, this is tainted by Red Revision. Our government is tainted, and that's why we're ending with this.
Starting point is 01:29:53 Guys, until next time, we love you, and peace out. Peace out, guys.
