As we head into the weekend, I'm traveling tonight, and you know what the good thing about the apps now, at least? Eight hours in advance, I get a text saying, Oh, your flight that was leaving at 7.55 p.m. is now leaving at 9.55 p.m. Yay. Yay. At least I know. How many times have we got to the airport? And you're supposed to leave at 6 p.m. And you get there at 4. And you get through. And they tell you, up, 7.30. Oh, 9. 10.30. I've had that. Anyway, the good news is, and I know there's a lot of people complain about airlines. Here's the way I look at it. Their number one job, number two job, number three job, number four job, is to get you there safe. If you get there safe, that's good news. Sometimes, not much you can do.

I don't know why today. We're going to be late because weather's pretty good up the eastern seaboard, but don't care. They get me there whenever in one piece. I'm a happy guy. Okay, so where do I want to start today? Let's go a little bit backwards. You know, we've been talking Israel at the front of the show. Not a lot changed today.

We'll get to that a little bit later. I want to talk markets. By the way, this is Investors' Edge, serious talk on you, and everything affects you. I guess I say that too much. China. Why do I want to start with China? Because people losing a lot of money in China stocks. Why do I want to start with that when the market's been good? Because we don't want you to lose money when you don't have to. And what are the areas we've been telling you about to avoid? Oils and China. Except recently we said to you about oils, we think probably the downside is over for now. We'll see how it goes and they've been bouncing a little bit, but nothing special.

And all we've been telling you is you have to avoid China. And there is a measuring stick for China, FXI. It is the Futsi China 50 Index. It's an exchange traded fund. Then there's something called the KWEB, which is the China Overseas Internet Index. There is the CWEB. That is the China Overseas another one Internet Index. And then there are China stocks.

Alibaba. by do and a bunch of others. And there have been a couple that have stuck out that are actually been strong, but most have been blasted. And first off, the reason why we'd say avoid is because they were acting like crap. That's number one, except for a few. But what was the other part of the equation? Well, under no uncertain terms we have told you, we don't trust the government of China.

in the past few years symbols TAL and E-D-U T-A-L topped out in 21 at 90 bucks and hit a low of ooh look at that at $1.60 oh we're not making that up EDU

hit a high of $199 and bottomed out at $8.40. Now they've rallied up because China took off whatever nut restrictions on them. These are education companies. China came out and said, oh, we just don't want you making any money. You shouldn't be profitable. You're an education company. They destroyed the stocks. And the problem is, you never know what's next out of China. I don't know if you know this, but the president of our country, Joe Biden, had a meeting with President Xi, the dictator,

I should say dictator Biden, as well as the dictator Xi. And we're now finding out that the China president came out and said on the no certain terms, oh, we're taking Taiwan. We're not going to tell you when, but we're taking them. And you can go look that up and read about and all that crap. So the guy's still dictating. And in case you don't know, in Hong Kong, anybody, they took over Hong Kong much early than they were supposed to. And anybody who says anything untoward towards China, they end up in jail. And they've been taken over more of the business instead of of staying on the side of business. All we can tell you is today.

China announced restrictions on gaming community. So a stock called NetT's closed down $17 to $87. A stock called Tencent was down $9%. $3.60 to $36.46, we hit 35 on government news. out of China. So not only have we been telling you avoid because of the way they've been acting, but China again goes with restrictions. And bottom line is we don't trust them. We stay away. As always, we let you decide. There have been some strong names. PDD has been strong. They dropped out a little bit today, but no big deal. It's still strong, actually. But not many others.

And why do we start with this? Just don't want you to lose money. And just remember, when the market's in a bullish phase, the most important thing you can do is listen to us at all times. But when the market's in the bullish phase, if we are able and able to start saying to you on this show and to our peeps, hey, just letting you know, this group just topped down. Oh, this group just topped down. Oh, 10 stocks from this group just topped out. Oh, another 10 stocks just topped out. Two more groups topped out. Well, you get the hint.

Back in 2021, in the middle of 2021, we saw things flattened out after moves to the upside. And then day in and day out, we were on this show talking about the next software name that was leading, topping out and breaking down. Oh, 10 more, 15 more, 20 more, 30 more 40 leading to November when they trash the hell out of them. So stay tuned. You know how I've been saying to you one thing and one thing only about these ass clowns that are taking up for Hamas and all of a sudden care about the Palestinian people? You know how we've been blasting all of them? Trying to tell you they don't give a crap about the Palestinian people.

They're attacking Jews. And how do we know this? because Syria murdered half million, million people with chemical weapons? They didn't say a freaking thing. Russia invading Ukraine, they didn't say a freaking thing. The Sudan, they didn't say a freaking thing. Haiti, gangs taken over the whole country. They didn't say a freaking thing.

China, million Uyghurs, Muslims in intern camps. They didn't say a freaking thing. Nigeria, Cuba, Venezuela. They didn't say a freaking thing. Oh, but when the Jews, them Jews, and it was great to see, I posted on my Twitter feed, go check it out. It was actually a repost, used to be a retweet of a debate between a clown on the left. Some guy, his name is, I don't even, whatever his name is, he's one of these guys. And then somebody explaining exactly what I've been telling you about all these people going nuts.

And I give none of them any credibility whatsoever now. You give me somebody that has ripping the stuffings all these places and is really worried about the Palestinian people altogether. They got some credit. But I have to mention a couple of other things. we'll get back into the market. I wake up this morning, NBC was on. The Today Show comes on. And, you know, it's this Today Show, and they talk about food and whatever, but they do the news also.

But they bring this guy on from Israel, and they don't talk about the hostages too much. They don't talk about what the terrorists do too much. You know what they talked about today? they're saying 20,000 Palestinians are dead because of Israel going into Gaza. They quote the Gaza Health Ministry and actually had the grapefruits to quote the Gaza Health Ministry and then say these words, Hamas run, Gaza Health Ministry. They're quoting people that raped with them. gang raped women, and while they gang raped women, videotaped it, were laughing at her, and at the end of the rape, shoot her in the head.

But let's quote these people on the number dead, because we can trust them. And do you want to know why, do you want to know why the media and their poll numbers for the media are less than jocut? and root canal because they're so full of bias crap it is sickening imagine quoting people that raped women burned babies beheaded babies murdered the elderly took people hostages blew up people laughed about it videotaped it didn't hide it the Nazis at least try to hide it oh but let's quote what they have to say about what's going on in Gaza. NBC is sick in the freaking mind. And they want to know why nobody trusts a freaking thing.

The same thing goes for the Associated Press and the rest of these Nimrods that would take the word. And here's the amazing part. If any of these people on NBC are saying this crap, were at that festival, they would have been. dead also or taken hostage. These gays for Hamas, what? The gays, they're dead. They're dead. You know what the favorite thing? They stone them to death. They put them in a circle if you're gay and they stone them to death with big giant rocks until they're dead. And then they burn them them to a cinder and they're out there promoting it i don't get it and that's why i keep saying to you tick tack toe you can never win so why play the game i wouldn't even debate any of these people and i know

there's some there's debates well why even debate these idiots how do you even debate them you can't but we're going to keep you letting you know what's going on as always you're get to decide. And that's all. I posted it about seven hours ago. It's a repost of somebody. And the guy was two minutes and 53 seconds of destroying this other idiot. The guy's name is Sank, C-E-N-K.

And he's, I guess he's got a very popular show online. I don't know where else he is. And he yells and screams about what Israel's doing. and this and that's and that's and that's a not that to da da da two minutes and 53 seconds of kicking this guy in the grapefruits and you know what the guy was doing smiling yeah yeah yeah anyway we'll keep you informed uh there's some talking going on right now they may be hostage this i can tell you this israel's shooting the middle finger at the united nations they can go screw themselves uh the human rights they can go screw themselves they're all biased. Did I tell you they got the sanctions

out for 2023? Did I read the other numbers? I had them here somewhere. I got to find them. Maybe after the next break I'll find it. I got to read to you how many times Israel was sanctioned and the total amount of times North Korea,

Cuba, China and Russia were sanctioned by the United Nations. It's the funniest crap you will ever hear. It's a comedy act. We resume. where was I? Notice we're very good at Segway. We mentioned China, we mention oils,

and now every day we stay with what's leading and then we watch anything changing. If we start to see, because we're very good at this, more and more changes, anything topping out, we'll know a lot about which way if the market's weakening or it's strengthening. We saw a few things,

acting well this week. We saw a few things break down, but not anything to get really twisted over. We saw some failings, but not anything to get twisted over. The fact that the matter is, I got two things. Until the semiconductors and the financials, until those two areas, until I'm able to come on this show and say to you, they've topped their heading lower, that in itself doesn't mean big trouble, but that'll mean, headwind. He's done it to his own family. They got one. Venezuela is zero. Venezuela run by Maduro, destroyed the country, plundered all the wealth, took over all the businesses, turn them into crap, destroyed the oil business, even though they got a ton of oil. Elections are fake, elections are fraud. You can't say a bad word, or you die or go to jail. They got zero. Russia got two.

Oh, Russia's been really nice, haven't? China, zero. No big deal, right? They're just putting people in jail left and right in Hong Kong if you said the wrong thing. Syria won. Just kill them half a million to a million of your own people with mustard gas. Syria got one. Iran.

One. Not making this up. Hamas. Zero. Now, let's see. October 7th Hamas murdered 1,200 innocents. They've got zero. This is the United Nations, the esteemed United Nations.

Zero. Israel 14. If I became president of the United States, one of the first five things I do is I call up the head of the General Assembly of United Nations and say, go blankety blank. You're not getting another dime for us. And you can say whatever you want about us. Have a nice life.

See ya. When you stop being an anti-Semitic, anti-Jew, anti-Israel, racist, bigotist, piece of crap, then we can talk. North Korea, Venezuela, Myanmar, Lebanon, Pakistan, Hamas, Turkey, Russia, China, Qatar,

the Saudi Arabia, Saudis, what did they do with that journalist? Syria, Iraq, Iran. They had a total of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Israel 14. And the great thing about this is they don't even hide it. They don't hide their disdain for Jewish people and Jews. They don't even hide it. They don't even hide it. it. Just like these

Gary, we're turning on investors' edge and we want to talk markets and we want to talk the economy. What does it have to do with anything? Are you kidding? these people are teaching our kids. The UN has supposedly this big oversight. We're giving them how much billions of dollars every year?

You kidding? It has everything to do with it. And I like putting my feet in the fire. Let's continue as we segue back, ladies and gentlemen, as we enter the new year few things of note numera uno since November 1st

the markets had a good move at the end of October I was watching charlatans on TV all this week said I told you so yeah told you what at the end of October they were anyway

the markets created because of a rise in interest rates. The markets have rally because they crash in interest rates. And the word is crash in interest rates. Just realize interest rates are simplistic. They're your mortgages. So the ability to pay less on a mortgage, that's huge. It's the cost of capital to corporations. When the cost of capital goes down, that means that money goes towards profits instead of a cost of capital. And that's how big of a drop it was. You combine it with oil prices dropping, and you got a nice little one-two punch. Great.

Where are we now? Here is my take as we enter the last week of the new year. Under no uncertain terms, stretched, extended, and overbought beyond the norm. with going coast to coast, with big amounts of bearishness to big amounts of bullishness. Price moves sentiment. Just because we are stretched, extended, and overbought, and a huge dose of bullishness, and no bears, based on my indicators, does not mean the markets have to tank. or even pull back.

It is not pinpoint. But, but we look for signs. Have there been any signs of trouble? Well, the only thing I have seen so far is Wednesday out of nowhere. The Dow dropped 500 points in two hours, the NASDAQ 200 and something.

We're keeping that day in mind. We said to you that day, things may have changed. The good news is there really has not been follow through to the downside. In fact, yesterday was a darn good, strong day, especially the NASDAQ. But we can do some readings here. We had a thousand new yearly highs. It's now 400. And the reason is we're off the highs.

We're going to be watching to see if that detainee. rates more. So all we're willing to say is Wednesday's action is sticking out. That said, I have not seen anything that's really so

uh-ohish in the market as of yet. Off of stretched, extended, and overbought. We're in the midst of you know,

seasonality we're in the midst maybe it has more repercussions as we head into the new year i don't know we're just letting you know wednesday sticking out a little bit nothing bad if we get a follow-through day to the downside you know a little more things start to worsen then we'll talk and we'll where we would be talking about, it would be the financials, and it would be the semiconductors. Those are the two linchpins that mean most to me. Simple as that. And as of yet, in those two areas, nah, nothing. Nothing to sweat over. And that's good news. As always, if things change, we'll let you know. We're not shy.

The only areas again, oils just ain't happening, even though they're bouncing a little bit here. China acts terribly. Even solars have come off their rear end. But keep in mind they're down like so far, it's not even funny. It's just that all boats lift

to a certain extent when you're in the midst of a rally. We've seen a little froth and speculation in the market. Go. In The Gester's Edge with Gary Kaltba. All right. A little bit of in the news. And I do have to backtrack a little bit. We were talking to Israel before. And if you don't recall, I'm going to remind you, I complimented Hillary Clinton, which is tough to come by.

I complimented the hell out of her for really ripping on Hamas. with no in between. We have no bias here. We just like good policy and logic. Well, it's time to rip this clown. I cannot believe how sick and twisted

this woman is on some things. She met with the hostages, some of the families, of the hostages. Terrific. She tells the hostages Benjamin Netanyahu doesn't care about them and their survival. He cares more about his survival and not their freedom.

She is back to, I can't stand the living crap out of her and her husband. How dare you play politics? You influence peddling piece of crap. You and your husband. How dare you play politics with hostages, families by ripping on the man who has defended the country forever and leave no doubt, we'll have to take responsibility for what happened. We don't excuse that.

She's a schmuck of the highest order. You meet with the hostage families and you rip the leader of the country that he doesn't care about you or your families. She's sick politics with hostages families. And just letting you know, we would say this all to her face easily. In the news, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to make a statement on the election that I don't think I had to make. I thought I would never have to make this. You listen carefully?

and I'm aimed at you, the people that love Trump, Nikki Haley's going to give him a run for the money. I think when all said and done, it may be a mistake that he didn't do the debates. Her numbers, New Hampshire, she's four behind. New Hampshire's important. He's continuing to make unforced errors with his mouth every day while she's sitting there just talking policy and agree with her or disagree with her.

She's just talking policy and he's acting like the usual Trump. And I'll let you decide what the usual Trump means to me. You know what it does. So I'm just letting you know, listen carefully, because I know if you love Trump, you really do. You better let him know that he's better be on his game. And he's got to stop with the Eddie Haskell. You know Eddie Haskell is from Leave at the Beaver. Stop the name calling.

You look like a 13 year. year old. You look like a kid in junior high school, seeing two kids fighting on the gym floor yelling, hit him, hit him. Name calling. Ronda Sanctimonious. You look like an idiot. If Trump's going to win, he better grow up quickly because he lost to Joe Biden. He lost to a corrupt influence peddling lifer in D.C. And if that doesn't scare the wits out of him, I don't know what does because Nikki Haley pulls better against Biden than Trump. So we're just letting you know, little pivot by your buddy Gary, I think there's a chance. She takes them out in primary. You better be watching closely. I'm not kidding. I'm pretty good at this. And I'm surprised.

Just letting you know. And as we head into Christmas, maybe it's morbid. I don't care. We like teaching lessons here. I told you I've never watched Friends, and I started after Matthew Perry passed away, and by the way, he was the star of the show. I had no idea. He died of drug abuse. He lied. He was saying he was off, and he was doing great. He died of drugs. He fell asleep on drugs in a hot tub and drowned. He died because of drug abuse, drug addiction, whatever word you want to use. Another very famous, wealthy, popular, actor, actress, athlete.

You parents, you got to use these as examples. It is a must. You use these as examples. I know it's morbid, but I'm telling you, I will. watched when my kids were in college, what was going down at bars. Girls falling on the ground. I'm glad I didn't have girls. I got to tell you. Nothing against the girls. Don't email me. But I just want to let you know. I was reading about it today and reading more and more about it today. And it's just so sad. Money throwed out the window. But the guy was making 20 million bucks off friends each year.

What a great life he could have led. Philanthropic, travel the world, do great things. He's dead. Take your kids. Take them on the side. And you've got to teach lessons. Because the influence out there is huge. They've turned drugies into celebrities.
