Starting point is 00:00:49 your host day. Thanks for being with us today. Glad you here, ladies and gentlemen, happy that you are listening. It is the 17th of January, 2024. Hope you're having a good day. As always, we have lots to cover and very little time to cover it. This is a show about everything that affects you. The markets, the economy, jobs, unemployment, taxes, deficit spending, scams, shams, corruption. You name it, we cover it with no bias, no agenda, no ulterior motive because we used to say we hate them all, but hates a big worry. Let's just say we loat them all. And you know who all them is.
Starting point is 00:01:26 If you do not get this radio show in our city, we'll post it at garyk.com. Moloosa posted on our Twitter feed, which is now X. And if you don't follow us on Twitter or X, go to the site and put my name in, and you'll be able to follow. And of course, you can email me and all you got to do is be nice. By the way, we ended up with a ton of people that donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida. We want to thank each and every one of you. If you still have an interest, what we did was about a one-hour webcast. and it is a defining webcast that if you really follow it and focus on it and stay with it,
Starting point is 00:02:04 you'll never be in a bear market. We showed you the roadmap of what bare markets and bull markets look like and how you can follow them also. And all we decided to do was if you gave a donation to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida, and I was too low with it. I went 20 bucks. It should have been 50. But I'm going to keep it at 20. You go to BGCCF.org.
Starting point is 00:02:26 that's BGCCF.org and donate the 20 and pay for the fee also, please, and email me, let me know, and we'll send you out the webcast. Okay, yesterday I pretty much ended the show, and just so you know, we do not script the shows. I have nothing in front of me. I have no lines, no scripts, no nothing. What we do here is we talk about the markets, and there are subjects. and there are subjects that just pop up, bubble up, that I need to talk about because it affects you. And yesterday, towards the end of the show, I said, we really need new people running the country.
Starting point is 00:03:10 They're killing us. I'm pretty sure those were close to my words, if not the words. And I got some emails, and it was funny, I got these emails, what do you mean by that? But I think every day on this show, what do I mean? by that. So I'm going to spend the first few minutes of the show on what I mean and how important it is to you and the future of this country. I believe that this administration is working against each and every one of us. And it's also getting into a bunch of states. Wealth taxes, rules, regulations. Wait to you hear what I got for you. That's Maine. The state of Maine is trying to do
Starting point is 00:03:55 By the way, I have been to 49 states. I have not been to Maine. Wait, Alaska. I have to say I was in Alaska. I wasn't in Alaska, but I had a diverted flight into Alaska. I forgot where I landed. So that's considered being in Alaska. But let's say 48.
Starting point is 00:04:16 We'll get to that little bit. But I watched today when the... Press Secretary was asked about the border, and she blamed Republicans. What? She blamed everything else, and then obfuscated. Notice the big word from your handsome and buffed toast. Have you seen what's going on with the border? It is to the point where we don't have a border.
Starting point is 00:04:44 It is to the point where the Democrats in the blue cities where the blue states and cities, where some of the red states we've had enough, we can't do this anymore, the border states are sending them, they're all complaining, because they're running out of space, they're running out of money, they said they were sanctuary, cities will accept,
Starting point is 00:05:04 you know, everybody, come one, come all, and now they don't want that anymore. They realize, holy crap. So that's number one. It's huge. It's gargantuan. Go read about how much we, the taxpayer, just remember,
Starting point is 00:05:19 when Joe Biden says that he is relieving student loans. No, it's us. He doesn't have any money. So the border, it's gargantuan. I could talk about the border and the drugs that are coming across the border. The cartels. Who knows what kind of terror is coming across the border. I can go on and on with the border for hours. And I have to tell you, the last time I was up at Fox, Griff Jenkins walks in. And I don't know if you know Griff, what a nicest men you'll ever meet. He covers the border for Fox and I was asking about him the things he was telling me I was like holy crap and I really asked them point blank are they even trying to do anything about it he looks at me and says Gary the most amazing part of answering that question is the answer is no they're not even trying to do anything about the border it's insanity it really is but let's that's that's one two trillion dollar deficit on purpose $2 trillion deficit on purpose, raised federal spending from the year before COVID 2019,
Starting point is 00:06:30 from $4.4 trillion to $6.5 trillion, all of its debt. Your debt, my debt, your kid's debt, their grandkids' debt. And they don't care. They don't give a crap. And he goes on TV and looks in the camera and says he's cut the deficit. It's stunning. Now we're talking border And we're talking
Starting point is 00:06:50 Our treasure It's two of the most important things out there And he's destroying it And on purpose And I've never thought I'd have to say that But they plan this out The green energy movement It's being destroyed
Starting point is 00:07:07 Remember If you're a restaurant And you decide to put something new on a menu but nobody's buying it. What do you do? Oh, you take it off the menu. If you are a retail store and you have a bunch of shirts and you put out 100 red shirts and 100 blue shirts
Starting point is 00:07:30 and after three weeks, 100 blue shirts are gone and not one of the red shirts are sold, what do you do? You get rid of the red shirts. Well, nobody wants electric vehicles. And when I use the word nobody, you know what I mean. They forced Ford and GM and all these companies to spend all kinds of money. They're handing out $7,500 to rich people, our tax dollars to rich people to buy them, and nobody wants them. And they're spending billions of dollars on charging stations that are not getting done.
Starting point is 00:08:05 And we're finding out now, in the cold, the charges don't work as good, and the cars are breaking down and left and right. These same people have never run the business Are forcing electric vehicles onto the country And nobody wants them And they don't work as good as gas And they're not as convenient as gas And they're more expensive than gas You want me to continue?
Starting point is 00:08:28 Look at just these three Look at just these three And they don't care They gave 400 billion of our tax dollars To John Podesta He is a democratic hack. Go look him up. Nothing personal, never met him.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Sure, he's a nice person. Don't give a crap, this is business. They gave him $400 billion to hand out for climate. By the way, do you know that the icebergs are growing leaps and bounds now? They're not reporting that. Oh, that's right. Do you see how cold it is outside and the snow? Oh, that's right.
Starting point is 00:09:05 It's winter. Climate crap. it's all a reach for your wallet it's insane and then there's the crime has joe biden gone in front of tv and talked about crime once once has he talked about the shoplifting people shoplifting 30 times and nothing being done to them and on the 31st they do it again or in washington dc the carjackings that i reported to yesterday what's going on in portland in san francisco Do you know downtown San Francisco? Do you know the stores are shut everywhere?
Starting point is 00:09:42 Oakland, my goodness gracious. Oh, by the way, what do they have all in common? You can figure that out. This guy's got to go. And I'm sick over the fact that the fact. The only person that can replace him now looks like to be Trump. Four more years of him. And then the woke and the DEI and all this other stuff,
Starting point is 00:10:12 whatever happened to merit. That's what I want to know. Whatever happened to merit. Whatever happened to merit. That you work hard and do better than others. And we're to the point now. I can't believe I'm even going to read this to you.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Maine, a committee is going to decide in the next day if a bill moves forward. The bill says the state can take custody of a kid if the parents oppose sex change surgery for a child and the chemical castration of their kids. Parents would have no say. The state wants to take the kid away.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Now, how do you think these people come up with these ideas and think they can get away with it? I can't even believe I'm reading this to you. Up next, we'll put a bow tie on it, then we've got to do the markets. I'm Gary. This is the one only Investor's Edge. Hi, I'm Gary Kalbaum, hosted a nationally syndicated radio show Investors Edge. Hi, I'm Dr. Jake Goodman, host of Beyond the Script, the podcast where I sit down with
Starting point is 00:12:45 pharmacists to answer the health questions you didn't even know you could ask at the pharmacy counter. In this episode, we are diving into gut health with CVS pharmacist Victoria Motola, who explains why so many of us live with stomach issues we should not accept as normal. A lot of what I see is just like chronic bloating. chronic stomach aches. Like, I get a stomach ache every time that I eat. And it just becomes like a lifestyle where, oh, yeah, you know, I just, I have a stomach ache every day.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Or I'm constantly feeling like gassy. And all of those things are not something that generally, if you have a healthy gut, you should be living with. So that's when we deep dive. We deep dive into your medication. We deep dive into your OTC medication. And then at that point, we can probably identify something that we can change. Hear the full conversation, plus some fast,
Starting point is 00:13:35 Fascinating facts about how gut health affects so much more than just your stomach on Beyond the Script, a podcast from CVS Pharmacy and IHeartRadio. Starting point is 00:14:19 One sweet, melty bite of a Hershey's bar, and suddenly I'm right back sitting on the front porch with my grandmother on a slow summer afternoon. She doesn't say much, just breaks the bar in half and hands me a piece. I open my mouth to say whatever a nine-year-old wants to say. And she replies with a low... Listen. So we sat there. Listening.
Starting point is 00:14:43 That was the first time I learned that quiet can feel full. Hershey's. It's your happy place. It's time to switch on the integrator units and get the brain cells working. You're listening to. Hey, this promises to be fun. Investors Edge.
Starting point is 00:15:01 The last bastion of quality programming. With Gary Coltbaum. It doesn't get better than this. I promise you. In the 20 years I have done this show, I have never said the two words, chemical castration. But the state of Maine, and this all comes intertwined into, you have this administration that I've been saying on the show is control freaks, control freakism, more domination control over your life, and they do it by handouts, takeaways, lies, cheat, steals, corruption, you name it. They have taken the championship belt away from Donald Trump online, and that is like the highest bar to get over. Look what the state of Maine wants to do.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Wealth taxes in states. They were always laughed at. They're trying to make it mainstream now. Imagine. And now what's happened? I talked about it yesterday. I talked about it yesterday, and I knew I had another. article as part of that, and it's just the article is all about simplicity.
Starting point is 00:16:20 It asks why wealthy Californians are ditching their Los Angeles mansions. And it just goes on to say, do you know, a new mansion tax? It becomes successful beyond your means. You're paying 39% federally. the state wants 14 and now on top of that if you have too much oh we're going to add another 1.5 on everything you have but you know what they did by the way they did a mansion tax but this big wealth tax you know what they got rid of it's not on real estate it's on everything else so if you have art you got to pay every year a percent and change if you're above too much so if you
Starting point is 00:17:11 become successful, here's the middle finger. And I can go in depth on it, but it's insanity. And they're leaving in droves. And they go into deficits. So they raise taxes more and makes it worse. This guy's got to go. It's all emanating from the top. I haven't even got into foreign policy. I heard them talking today about how the Republicans do not respect women. I saw that today. Kamala Harris was on the view, which, by the way, I'm proud to say, I've never watched one minute. It's like the Housewife shows I've never watched one minute. The Kardashian shows never watch one minute. But they're on there complaining about how Republicans hate women.
Starting point is 00:18:10 He left Afghanistan and all the women now back to the dark ages. they're getting whipped, they're getting raped, they can't go to schools anymore. They have to put the burghers on again. Do they give a crap about the Afghanistan? Women? The guy's got to go. This whole thought process got to go.
Starting point is 00:18:30 We've got to go back to three simple words that they figured out years ago, a couple of centuries ago. It's supposed to be we the people. There's 350 million of us. There's 535 of them, plus an administration of Supreme Court. We're bigger than them.
Starting point is 00:18:48 We got more than them. And look what's going on here. We've got federal spending has gone from $1.8 trillion to $6.5 trillion since the year 2000. Defense spending, $300 billion to up almost $900 billion. Where the hell is the money going? We were warned by Jefferson way back when. I urge every one of you, go wrong. read, just Google the words, Thomas Jefferson quotes.
Starting point is 00:19:19 And you will find so much that is going on right now that he predicted and said, we always got to be wary of. Those were the words. And one of them was taking the money from one taxpayer and handing them to another to buy votes, domination and control. And this guy is the worst of them all. And you know me. I couldn't stand Trump. I voted from it first, and I watched, and I watched, and I was hoping, hoping, hoping, hoping. And I just can't stand the guy. I'd say it to his face.
Starting point is 00:19:58 But he did lower taxes. He did loosen up regulations. He did back Israel, though. On another day, he'll say something anti-Semitic against Jews. He's back and forth. It's either him or the guy that's here. we cannot have another four years a guy that's here and I know what the other side's saying right now we can't have another four years of Trump you should hear what they're saying about him today
Starting point is 00:20:31 it's pretty funny actually but sad because I've told you the things I thought of Trump John McCain wasn't a hero because he was caught Donald Trump couldn't last three minutes in one of the caves that they stuck John McCain in but I digress that's what I meant yesterday this guy is the worst and you know the last part do you know he's just not even out anymore they shut the doors he's not even out
Starting point is 00:21:03 he shows up every now and then he goes to some campaigns raises money and then goes back in have you seen him did you know that we have been finally counterattacking the Houthi rebels and do you hear him coming to the American people saying we just want to let you know
Starting point is 00:21:22 what we've done they sent out a note So that's my take. And we're headed for a major wall on debt and deficits and utter stupidity. I didn't mention, by the way, on foreign policy. I really do believe a lot of these dictators are bulking up here because they think this guy, look what he did with Afghanistan. The latest is China, Taiwan.
Starting point is 00:21:50 They just had an election in Taiwan, and guess who won? An anti-China guy. And China's pissed. So what happens there next? we'll see anyway I stick by what I said it's like the Ebola virus against the bubonic plague for the presidential
Starting point is 00:22:05 election go in November and I'm almost thinking today maybe I should go visit Trump at Moralago and talk to him I just don't think he'd listen I know people through him that I probably get there I don't think he'd listen to a word I'd say
Starting point is 00:22:21 I don't anyway that's my take you asked I answered try disagreeing with me. All right, the market wrap. Well, a great finish to today, even though we were down a lot. But I'm going to throw in a lot of butt today.
Starting point is 00:22:48 On December 20th, we said to you on the show, we think we may have hit of a moment. November 1st, we thought the market could have put in a low. December 20th, we thought we could have hit a, what we call a momentum high. For about eight days, nine days, market drifted a little higher. The last day of the last year, we started to get distribution. Markets started to worsen.
Starting point is 00:23:21 We came into this year, and I explained to you the little $100 simplification of markets. It's just deteriorating. How do we know it's deteriorating? We scan 1,500 to 2,000 stocks a day. Up next, we'll get more in depth. You'll understand it. I'm Gary. This is the one only investors' edge.

Starting point is 00:24:26 And it just becomes like a lifestyle where, oh, yeah, you know, I just have a stomachache every day. Or I'm constantly feeling like gassy. Starting point is 00:26:09 America is talking. Investors Edge. He's got to be pleased with that. The crowd is just on his feet here. He's a Cinderella boy. With Gary Colt Bond. It comes highly recommended. You're going to feel better if you talk to him. And welcome once again to Investor's Edge.
Starting point is 00:26:27 So, for starters, today at the lows, the Dow hits 37132, finished at 37266. At what point today, the Dow was down 228, finished only down 94. It's good news. even though we still finish down 94. The S&P 500 finished down 26 today. At one point today, it was down 51. The NASDAQ was getting beaten up. The NASDAQ at one point today was 4714.
Starting point is 00:27:20 Excuse me. My bad. The NASDAQ at one point today was 14706, finished at 14706. 1385, down still 89 points. Make sure that number's right, yes. That means at one point today, it was down 159 more points. That's 247, finished only down 89.
Starting point is 00:27:47 And, of course, the NASDAQ 100 was kind of sort of the same. The transports at one time today was down 15151, finished at 15151, finished at 15-232. So it was down 190, still finished down 110. That's good news. Why am I not so happy? Well, it's kind disorder. Simple. There was more deterioration today. More underneath the surface trouble today. And how do we know that today? Another day where 873 stocks were up on New York. 3,118 were down. 1,324 stocks were up on the NASDAQ, 2790 down. Are you ready for this?
Starting point is 00:28:47 The new yearly high list, the new yearly high list. On the New York Stock Exchange, I'm about to give it to you because it won't take me much time. That's how they're hardly down to much. I'm going to say there's one, two, I'll call it 30. 30. On the NASDAQ, new yearly highs, I'll call it about 25. 30 new highs on the New York, 125 new lows. New yearly lows.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Imagine there's 125 stocks at new yearly lows, even though we're not near new yearly lows. Talk about underperformance. And 220 new yearly lows on the NASDAQ. Holy crap. So deterioration. And as we said to you yesterday on this show, we can't have too much more of this, though we came back towards the close. As I am doing my scans, there's some new things to say, new tales to tell. First and foremost, they're rolling over the real estate stocks.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Secondly, they continue to trash the gold and the silver. We already talked highs and lows. Airlines, these are all now, remember we said how going into July-told October, 80% of stocks were in downtrends and that all changed. Well, these were part of the 80% that were going up. They're now going down. So you've got the gold and the silver. Well, the oils remain and they were worse again today.
Starting point is 00:30:45 China, another new yearly low, emerging markets, the IFA index, The metals in mining. The transports, the airlines. I'm not sure the cruise lines just yet. Tesla, gross. Boeing is just, I can't use the word crash right for Boeing, has dropped precipitously. The crypto-climacted run. The media stocks trash.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Utilities have topped. I wanted to mention that with the real estate because we're talking interest rates sensitive. Some bad reactions to financials, troublesome, rails and truckers rolling over. A lot of economically sensitive names rolling over. Steel, trouble. Solar still trashed. What a bare market that is. You catch in my drift? Deterioration, worsening. We had a bunch of accounts come in with a lot of stocks. And what I do when the count comes in with 100 stocks, I immediately look at all of them,
Starting point is 00:31:59 and I will check Marco, I'm good here, good here, good here, good here, good here, good here, good here, good here. One of the names I was okay with was Caterpillar over the last couple of weeks. But yesterday broke the 21 day and today was down another nine bucks rolling over. Guess what we did with Caterpillar in the last day? Just giving you an example of one. So just letting you know I have no idea what it's going to lead to. You got that? I do not know what it's going to lead to.
Starting point is 00:32:39 I just know it's deteriorating. It's getting more narrow. And the other part of the equation, do you know what's so? stood out better today. Consumer staples, insurance, managed care, the most defensive areas. The other part of the equation, 10-year yield over 4.1 now, a 0.40. And you know what we think about that. So we'll keep you on notice. We're very lucky. We have a good eye, but sometimes it's luck. We know about Nvidia. You know, we gave that. tier on a silver platter, breaking above 505.
Starting point is 00:33:23 It was down 16 early today. Finished down 3. We love that. AMD, we just told you we jumped into. Was down, I think, almost 5 today. Finished up a buck and a half with the NASDAQ down 90. Microsoft finished only down 80 after being down 5 today. Facebook was down 8 early, finished up 1.
Starting point is 00:33:49 What does this tell you? Markets flowing into some of these best names. and we're able to easily, easier, isolate weakness when a lot of crap is coming in. And I'm already making my list for tonight. Wow, that look is interesting. Look that. It looks interesting. Boy, that's not budging.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Oh, that is actually looking to break out here. So we may add some names while a ton of names are croaking as the market narrows, knowing, you know how if we go into deeper bearish phase, they eventually get them all. But there is hay to make as markets get narrow as the big money finds a smaller number of names to go into. Does that make any sense? And that's that. That's that. That's that.
Starting point is 00:34:56 Just deterioration. Just deterioration. And we'll let you know if it worsens. as far as the big indices as far as the big indices the NASDAQ finished today just below the 21 day and still okay the S&P
Starting point is 00:35:17 finished just below the 21 day but had that little reversal in the Dow finished just below remember the 21 day is the real strength but usually when you break it you head to the big one the 50 day you break there look out
Starting point is 00:35:33 so stay tuned we're on it, we're working hard, we're very thankful that for the month of January we've nailed some names here, thank you, NVIDIA, and let's hope it continues, and let's hope we can find some more.
Starting point is 00:35:50 But underneath the surface, even with the comeback today, dang, rough, rough, rough. And as I mentioned, if I get 100 stocks in for a transferred account, there's less check marks as this that and the other thing start breaking support areas
Starting point is 00:36:13 and you can just get a feel and can tell that trouble lies ahead in the midst of earning season in the midst of earning season and that's a little bit of the gist and by the way I have to repeat again the 10 year yield up another 0.4 to 4.106 yippee up next I'll think of something. I'm Gary. This is the one only investors edge. Hi, I'm Dr. Jake Goodman,
Starting point is 00:37:14 host of Beyond the script, the podcast where I sit down with pharmacists to answer the health questions you didn't even know you could ask at the pharmacy counter. In this episode, we are diving into gut health with CVS pharmacist,
Starting point is 00:37:27 Victoria Motola, who explains why so many of us live with stomach issues we should not accept as normal. A lot of what I see is just like chronic bloated. chronic stomach aches. Like, I get a stomach ache every time that I eat.
Starting point is 00:37:43 And it just becomes like a lifestyle where, oh, yeah, you know, I just, I have a stomach ache every day. Or I'm constantly feeling like gassy. And all of those things are not something that generally, if you have a healthy gut, you should be living with. So that's when we deep dive. We deep dive into your medication. We deep dive into your OTC medication.
Starting point is 00:38:01 And then at that point, we can probably identify something that we can change. Hear the full conversation plus some. fascinating facts about how gut health affects so much more than just your stomach on Beyond the Script, a podcast from CVS Pharmacy and IHeartRadio. Listen now wherever you get your podcasts. Success starts with your drive, and American Public University is here to fuel it. Starting point is 00:38:46 Learn more at APU. APU. APUS.edu. One sweet, melty bite of a Hershey's bar and suddenly I'm right back sitting on the front porch with my grandmother on a slow summer afternoon. She doesn't say much, just breaks the bar in half and hands me a piece. I open my mouth to say whatever a nine-year-old wants to say. And she replies with a low... Listen. So we sat there. Listening.
Starting point is 00:39:16 That was the first time I learned that quiet can feel full. Hershey's. It's your happy place. You're listening to. What are we waiting for? Well, what are you waiting for? One, two, ready, go. Action!
Starting point is 00:39:31 Investors Edge. With Gary Culper. And welcome once again to Investor's Edge. Here's another part of the equation. Just so you know, an administration has people working under the administration, antitrust departments. Those are the ones that look out for, oh, we don't want you to merge because you're a monopoly. They don't like free markets.
Starting point is 00:40:16 So what's happened recently, they just knocked out the JetBlue and the Spirit Airline. and I read the outtakes of why they said JetBlue should not be able to buy Spirit Airlines. And I thought it was a bunch of bull crap. They said something to the effect of people love Spirit Airlines and the low prices. That should not be a reason. That's number one and number two. Are they really low? I once flew Spirit Airlines.
Starting point is 00:41:11 It was the last time I flew Spirit Airlines. I looked and saw, wow, this is cheap. And then I had to add six different things to it because you don't get to do anything. You don't get a seat. You can't check a bag. You can't bring a bag. And whatever else. And once I added all up, it's about as expensive as other airlines.
Starting point is 00:41:48 So that's one. the state of Washington is trying to block the merger of Albertsons and Kroger. This is anti-business. This is anti-business. And it potentially puts a discount into the market. Why if, because mergers and acquisitions is part of the market. And if the market knows, well, you know, they just won't let these things happen, you get the point. And Spirit Airlines, their shareholders,
Starting point is 00:42:27 that held on, I don't know why they would, but crushed yesterday. And little did these control freaks who blocked it say anything about how much money Spirit Airlines is losing with their business model.
Starting point is 00:42:46 They're losing a ton, which calls into question their business model. This is what we mean by it's not we the people, it's we them. We the government. We'll tell you what's good for you.
Starting point is 00:43:07 You all suck. We're smarter than you. Yeah, we've never worked in business, but we can certainly come down with decisions on business because we went to Harvard. So that's out there too. And by the way, that's part of this administration. They are totally anti-business.
Starting point is 00:43:34 I didn't even mention what they're doing with the student loans. Winners and losers they're picking. That's number one. People that didn't go to college are paying for people that did took out loans and not paying it back. Not having to. Winners and losers. I know people that have student loans that were not relieved of those student loans and they're pissed off. Why is that person getting and I'm not?
Starting point is 00:44:02 Who the hell are they? And you know what? That is one heck of a thought process. It's correct. That's another part of the control freakism using the taxpayer dollars to do their bidding. We were warned about it. Go look up Jefferson. And I got to repeat something. I hate doing this. I hate talking like this. But they've all earned it. They've all earned our wrath. And you can't argue numbers. You can't argue facts. You can't argue videos at the border,
Starting point is 00:44:37 the crime, the shoplifting, and on and on and on and on. And they say nothing about it. and they blame everybody else for it. They've got to go. And then we get Trump for four years. What's 365 times four? We'll be counting the days when that happens. Anyway, last but not least, as we have stated to you about the economy,
Starting point is 00:45:11 watch the market. If they really start to crater all these economically sensitive areas. It shall be telling something. I will tell you that the job market is, I don't want to use the word teetering, but is not as good as it was. So let's say if there was a chart of the job market,
Starting point is 00:45:34 maybe a couple of lower highs, which is not a big bad thing. But if we do get worsening, and let me tell you, when it goes, it goes quick, that'll be the economy. That'll be profits. That will be the market. And it's already happening in some areas.
Starting point is 00:45:56 The good news is other areas. It's not. And we will keep you focused on the areas to be in. We will keep you focused on what not to be in. And unfortunately, that number's picking up while the numbers to be in is dropping. And as things change, we will let you know. and if real big gigantic trends are put in place, like China stocks,
Starting point is 00:46:26 that we've been telling you to void for how long? And as we said, nobody has a better eye for it. And we show it to you, prove it to you, on a daily basis live, and not in color, because we're on radio. What can I tell you? Next Fed meetings are at the end of the month, so still two weeks ahead.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Lots of earnings to come out. I believe Schwab reported today. Stock didn't move that much. Anything the rest of the week? Nothing. Nah, a couple more financials. Travelers in the Dow. That's about it. Anyway, you'll have a great evening drive carefully. It's Wednesday, right? When you get home, do like we do. It's quite simple. Make sure you hug your family. Make sure you hug your children. They will feel better. You will feel better. I promise. Tomorrow be on with Stuart Varney. 10 a.m. Fox business. Don't miss it. I'll be wearing a great tie. Take care all. Thanks for joining us. Peace out, my friends. Bye-bye.
