Starting point is 00:00:29 See website for full terms and conditions. Investor's Edge with Gary Coltbaum. Straight talk about you and your money. Now from the BizTalk Studios, here is Gary Cultbaum. And welcome once again to Investors Edge. I'm Gary Colpom, your host. A thanks of being with us today. Glad you here, ladies and gentlemen, happy that you are listening.
Starting point is 00:00:49 It is Friday. And as I've said to you recently, I love work and I can work seven days a week, and I actually kind of sort of work seven days a week. But right now with these back issues, I am so happy it's Friday. My new favorite thing to do is I go in the pool and I just sit there and float. Instead of standing up all day, trying to sit and getting pain, I'll get to that in a little bit. But first, if you do not get...
Starting point is 00:01:21 By the way, this show is about the markets and your money and the economy and jobs and all that. But we've thrown in the back pain thing also because I've now received 20, 3,376 emails from you guys when I started talking about it. How many weeks ago? 10 weeks ago? And I'm kind of depressed because it's about 11 weeks now since I've had whatever I have. I've been doing everything, trying everything, and it's just still there. And it went away for 10 days. I'm thinking it's gone, then boom. I'll get that a little bit. And we'll do the markets, which did not finish too well today. I'll explain what I mean. If you do not get this radio show in your city, we go to GaryK.com.
Starting point is 00:02:02 You go to GaryK.com. You can listen there. We also posted on our Twitter feed. It's also on Spotify, Spreeker, Apple, the whole works. They're on all the thing of a bobs. You can email me, just be nice. That's not too hard, is it? And we segue.
Starting point is 00:02:31 So two things. First, this is about you and your money. start. After last October, I had to go in the hospital for a night. I think I was in there for about 14 hours, and I got a $24,000 bill. And by the way, I've got to receive a lot of emails from you guys on something like this also. And I'm like, $24,000. So anyway, they did an MRI. They charged $4197. They did another MRI for $651.51. Okay, $10,700 for two MRIs. But here's the kicker.
Starting point is 00:03:13 In the original thing they sent me, and it took them, it took them a good five phone calls and three months to finally get it, I receive the in-betweens, because all I would get was something called outpatient services for $5,558. I was in an outpatient. I got emergency room.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Also, get this, emergency room for 5766. My emergency room thing, I was there for 10 minutes and they walked me in. I was never in a regular room. And I just sat around, whatever, and, you know, they did the scans, whatever. So what they're trying to tell me is it really wasn't outpatient care. what they're trying to tell me is it was hourly observation. Now, I might have believed that? So get this, there's a few of them.
Starting point is 00:04:15 There is an hourly observation for two hours at $712 an hour. Then I got another hourly observation for one hour for $1,153. And then there was an hourly observation 13 hours for 13 hours for 13. for 3,523. So the 13 hours were like 275 bucks an hour, better than the 1100 and the other one. Am I to believe that?
Starting point is 00:04:47 Any of you know whether they actually charge hundreds to a thousand bucks an hour for observation, and they're not really observing me? You know what their observation is? I'm in a room. They have me hooked up. And there's somebody out there. And I guess all the numbers are for each person, and that's what they charge.
Starting point is 00:05:11 No wonder these people are making billions of dollars. Anyway, what ends up happening was, and this Einstein couldn't understand, at the end of the day, they charged $24,122 for 16 hours in a hospital. expected payer contractual allowance 14-514 the insurance payment 5293 and they want me to pay $4,300. Now, I don't mind paying. Of course not. You're in a hospital that's taken care of you.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I don't mind paying. $24,000. Anyway, I thank you for all your emails. I'm going to call them one more time and I want them to explain to me how that comes about. How does it go from outpatient to observation? Some of the hours were a thousand. You guys getting the same stuff when you go to hospitals? I bet you are.
Starting point is 00:06:17 And again, I love the doctors. I love the nurses. I think the whole setup is obfuscation. It's like you wake up three in the morning because your dog woke you up and you turn on the TV. And you watch one of those things that says, take this pill and you'll lose 100 pounds. And at the bottom of the screen, it says, in letters, Superman couldn't read, results not typical.
Starting point is 00:06:41 So the whole infomercial is a lie. You know, and then below that, it says, in order to lose that 100 pounds, you have to have 500 calories a day for three months and run the marathon every other day. Results not typical. This is what we deal with, ladies and gentlemen. That's our,
Starting point is 00:07:05 This hospital, at least. Anyway, I just had to start with that because I consider myself a logical, smart human being. And when I see that, I'm like, what the hell is going on here? How does somebody who does not have the wherewithal and have to go to the hospital get something like that? They can't pay it. They can't pay that. And my insurance company, I tried to speak to them. It was like talking to a wall.
Starting point is 00:07:41 well you gotta you know you well well good jip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip dip you you know mr insurance company i'm paying you 24000 bucks a year for you to help me out when something like this happens well you got to go to them and maybe they can help you out and then you can come back to us and we'll think we can do this when you do that maybe we can do this and do that and please send us our next four thousand dollar uh payment every two months have a great day okay I knew we had to start with that.
Starting point is 00:08:17 So we segue, because that's what we're good at here, we segue very well. Today, at 1.30, and I don't usually do this, I send out a webcast today to my peeps. We call them peeps, you know, to make like we're actually cool, which we're really not. and I did something that I usually do for myself, but did for my peeps today, because it's really not anything you act on. And what it was was I went back like the last six days and just stunned. And we've had some good reaction to earnings. Amazon finished up almost $11 today on earnings. their booking holdings was up 224 today.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Of course, it's a $3,000 stock. But what I mentioned was and showed, and it was not surprising because I go through it every night, but when all said and done, how many stocks have blown up? Just in the last six, seven days on their earnings reports. By the way, Apple, I wouldn't call 4.5% a blow-up, but Apple was down 4.5% today on their earnings report, which by the way was pedestrian again.
Starting point is 00:09:48 And I always pose the question, if we have so many blowups, can that hurt the market that has been doing pretty decently up until the last so-and-so amount of days as we've got some distribution in here. The week was down for the most part and the finish today was not very good. So those are the type of questions where. So we sent that out in advance of our weekend, which we usually do a couple of webcasts. And it was stunning how many names there were. And I'm sure I left some out. And it was things like a micro-trip in semiconductors that blew up. Fortinet, which has been a strong stock, FTNT, in the software security.
Starting point is 00:10:39 square where I think they changed their name to block. Don't ask me why. That stock today was down 14%. And it's just been a pretty sizable list that you would expect in bare markets. That said, all we've had so far in the market is a pullback of unknown price and time. to get to that up next. On this, the one only Investor's Edge. Hi, I'm Gary Kalbaum, hosted a nationally syndicated radio show Investors Edge. We're not just handsome radio people. We manage investors' money for a living,

I recently spoke with IBM's new director of research, Jake Mbata. We discussed his vision for the future of quantum computing. At IBM research, what we always do is answer what is the future of computing, whether it's coming up with new algorithms, coming up with better AI, coming up with quantum, or coming up with just, just how do different accelerators go together?
Starting point is 00:13:02 It's our DNA to answer the question of what is the future. Isn't it a perfect problem for IBM because you kind of need to have a legacy of building stuff? Yes. Building actual physical machines. Yeah, it's why I came to IBM. I wanted the experience, the culture of building hard things that others have not done before.
Starting point is 00:13:25 Where do you imagine we are in the timeline of this technology? There will come a point when it will mature. Right? Yeah. My cell phone is a mature technology at this point. How far are we from that point with Quantum? By 2029, we'll build the first fault-tolerant quantum computer. That is one that can run a very, very large, large problem.
Starting point is 00:13:47 To learn how IBM is building the future of computing, visit IBM.com slash quantum. All right, quick quiz for the hiring managers out there. What's worse? being understaffed or being poorly staffed? Well, that's a trick question, because both are recipes for chaos. Either way, just say to yourself, this is a job for Indeed's sponsored jobs. You'll get matched with candidates that meet the skills, certifications, and everything else you're looking for.
Starting point is 00:14:18 Or go a different way and get no traction. Seriously, sponsored jobs posted directly on Indeed are 95% more likely to report a hire than non-sponsored jobs. It really is a no-brainer. Spend less time searching and more time actually interviewing candidates who check all your boxes. Less stress, less time, more results. Look for in-store tags to earn on eligible items from Celsius, Body Armor, Oiraida, Silk, Capri-Sun, Bavarian Meets, and Charmin. Then clip the offer in the app for automatic event-long savings. Starting point is 00:15:30 restrictions apply. See website for full terms and conditions. It's time to switch on the integrator units and get the brain cells working. You're listening to. Hey, this promises to be fun. Investors Edge. The last bastion of quality programming. With Gary Coltbaum. It doesn't get better than this. And welcome once again to Investors Edge. So by the way, real quickly on the back, since we've got 23142 emails on it, I think it was about 11 weeks ago. Out of nowhere, I just had this knifing pain in my back.
Starting point is 00:16:14 And it was in this area, you know, when I used to play tennis and I did a little bit on the tour and the college tennis and stuff like that, it's the place that I always, you know, hurt because I used to have this second serve. It was the twist serve. And, you know, I used to get this like, you would call it a pulled muscle. So I'm thinking, oh, it's just a really bad pulled muscle. And I had this thing, this knifing pain a bunch of years ago when I took my family. We were in Paris off of a cruise.
Starting point is 00:16:38 and they got to mosey around Paris for two days. I laid in bed, but I'm thinking, oh, it's going to go away pretty quickly. So for like a week, it's off and on and off and on. I'm like, okay, and then it went away for a few days. I said, good, it's already done. And then boom. And when I mean pain, it literally takes you to your knees. That's how bad the pain is.
Starting point is 00:17:01 And I have a high threshold of pain. So after about two or three weeks, I go see somebody. get the MRI, and the MRI shows nothing. For my age, it shows the usual, you know, the degeneration, whatever, blah, blah, blah. But no nerve issue, no disc issue. So I'm like, what the hell's going on here? Please tell me, and they tell me, oh, you have back spasms. And I looked at them because I think to myself, when somebody tells me back spasms,
Starting point is 00:17:31 what's the big deal? And he goes, no, you don't understand. Back spasms will take you to your knees. This is his exact words. I said, you're damn straight, it did. So they put me on, you know, the steroid dose pack once or twice. And boy, does that really help? But I got to tell you, blew up my face and just made you, it didn't make me see stars.
Starting point is 00:17:53 But you guys that have done steroids for seven days, it kind of weird jowd a little bit. Anyway, so that helped. And then we started sort of physical therapists or a doctor. stretching this, stretching that, and it would come just a couple of times and then it would go away. And I'm thinking after six or seven days, oh, I'm great. And just like two weeks ago, I had like seven or eight or nine days. I'm in real good shape. And I'm actually, I got better movement that I'm thinking it really is gone.
Starting point is 00:18:29 And then boom. Out of nowhere. Just getting up out of a chair. And by the way, it doesn't hurt when I stand. It doesn't hurt when I walk. It never used to hurt when I lay down. But now every now and then, that even, if I move a certain way. So I went to see the doctor again.
Starting point is 00:18:48 He said, I'm just telling you, some of the times these things take months and months and months. I go, you're kidding me. So I went to see another physical therapist. They did a little dry needle thing, a little massage in there. And I get up and boom. And then in the last two to three days, holy Christ. crap. And last night, it buckled me like you wouldn't believe. It felt like my bones were sticking out. That's how bad it was. And the only fortunate thing about this is that it goes away.
Starting point is 00:19:28 After, I don't know, 10, 15 minutes, the initial knifing pain just goes and comes. It's like it's sits for 10, 15 minutes or forget it, I'd be toast. But it does go away. But man, oh man, I'm thinking to myself, this is going on almost three months. Am I going to be one of these people that have chronic back pain for three years like a lot? I mean, I've got a lot of emails from you guys tell me about having it for years. And I'm not going to let it. I'm doing everything possible. I'm stretching like a madman. I'm doing everything the doctor says. It just isn't helping. and I almost wish he can see something on the MRI. And the guy's also a surgeon.
Starting point is 00:20:12 He goes, listen, you don't want me. You don't want me with the knife. I said, you're damn straight. I don't. But I certainly want to get rid of this. So I'm just letting you know what's going on. And I'm talking about this because 2342 emails. And I guarantee you this weekend, just on this, I'll get a couple of hundred more.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Because amazingly, so many of you have issues. And by the way, I'm not out of shape. I'm kind of skinny. I was lifting weights very well. No problems whatsoever. Did my 10,000 steps a day. Inclined trainer. And still.
Starting point is 00:20:50 So beats the hell out of me what my next move is. I haven't seen a chiropractor yet. But I'm thinking to myself, I've seen the best of the best doctors, the best of the best physical therapists. What do you do next? So I'm willing to try anything. We'll see. I'm just happy it's the weekend
Starting point is 00:21:10 because I got to tell you, as soon as I'm done with this radio show, I'm going in the pool. Because that really, I can float around and just sit there and stand, you know, and not have to stand all day. You get my point.
Starting point is 00:21:24 And that's my back pain. And you know what's looking at me right now? Dwight Shrewt with his bobblehead just going up and down. Yeah, thanks, Dwight. Appreciate it. All right. The market wrap.
Starting point is 00:21:43 See how we segue. Brought to you by Investment-Models.com. That's Jim Rohrabak, one of the great market timers. No gray areas with the man you were either in or out of the market. But it's proprietary in the cages. Go check it out. Investment-models.com. We have mantras.
Starting point is 00:21:57 And we're just repeating a mantra. We like bad opens and good closes. We don't like hot opens and bad closes. Guess what they did today? is not the first go-round. The NASDAQ today, the best way I can explain to you, opened pretty much, it was at 14103. 14103 on the second five-minute bar today. It was up 145, the NASDAQ. No, really. At 1010, it was 13-980, up about 30. Excuse me. Yeah, gave a ton of it back. Up only about 20. So from 1.40 to 20. And then it rallied to another high, 14-119.
Starting point is 00:22:57 To be up 160. Just before 1 o'clock and you think it to yourself, okay, they try to reverse it and they rallied this sucker back up. Good. Finish down 50. Near the lows of the day. A hot open, a quick sell, a hot midday
Starting point is 00:23:16 were just kicked in the teeth by the end of the day and finished down 50. The NASDAQ 100 finished down 78. And we start with the NASDAQ, NASDAQ 100. They've been the leading index. No hope was Apple that was down
Starting point is 00:23:31 $9 today on their earnings report, which was pedestrian. Bigger help was Amazon, which was up almost 11 today. But offsetting that throughout the day, just distribution. on things that were up early
Starting point is 00:23:48 and we have this thought process it had a chance to be up and finish down on the other end the good end had a chance to finish down and finished up unfortunately was the bad end today so I'm not sure what it means you just don't want to see too much of this and if you go back this week
Starting point is 00:24:08 you had a couple last Thursday had a big reversal down Wednesday was no good Much more up next on this, the one only investors' edge. Hello, hello. I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of Smart Talks with IBM. I recently spoke with IBM's new director of research, Jake Embatta. We discussed his vision for the future of quantum computing. Spring in for store-wide deals and earn four times of points. Look for in-store tags to earn on eligible items from Celsius, Body Armor, ORAIDA, Silk, Capri-Sun, Bavarian Meets, and Charmin. See website for full terms and conditions. You're listening to. America is talking. Investors edge. He's got to be pleased with that.
Starting point is 00:27:49 The crowd is just on his feet here. He's a Cinderella boy. With Gary Colbomb. It comes highly recommended. You're going to feel better if you talk to him. So, getting back to what I'm saying, it's just not a great thing when you open, hot, and finish down. It's just you know that institutions are selling into an up move. And too many of those would not be good news.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Too many of those would simply not be good news. So we'll just say one day, but you had a couple. And you got a little distribution here. We're now below our green line, which is the 21 day moving average on the NASDAQ. The next move would be the 50 day, which is just a couple of percent lower, which would not be the worst thing in the world, but a little change in complexion. It doesn't mean you're going into a bare market, though. We mentioned a lot of stocks really gapped down and got shredded, and hopefully don't any of them. We just don't want to see more of that.
Starting point is 00:29:26 That's all. Remember, we do this little exercise with you guys. that if imagine there was 100 stocks in the market and 100 stocks were an uptrend and then all of a sudden 20 of them turned down. So you got 80 versus 20, which is still fine, but a little bit of a headwind. And what if it turns into 50-50? That's how we're able to gauge whether a market's getting in trouble or not. And it's what we do every day. And you have to assume we know what we're talking about when something's in an up trend or downtrend, when something's starting an up trend or something is starting a downtrend.
Starting point is 00:30:08 And very often downtrends are started with stocks gaping down off the highs. And there's been a few. So just letting you know. Advanced declines, not bad at the end of the day, but they were much better during the day. And one thing that stands out, more new yearly load. on the NASDAQ than new yearly highs still. I think that's been going on two out of the last three days or three out of the last three days.
Starting point is 00:30:41 That's not the greatest of news. But what we can do now is isolate. What's heading lower? What's heading lower a lot? What refuses to head lower? And what refuses to head lower in a correction when the correction ends, usually because of its relative strength leads. It's called what holds up best.
Starting point is 00:31:14 And today, just so you know, you had a gap in Amazon to the upside, Amgen, which has been a dead stock, absolute dead stock. And it woke up, finished up 11, was up, I think, 15 at one time. They reported their earnings. So maybe that's, and that's in the Dow, by the way. We mentioned booking holdings, about an 8% move. $224. How about, what is it, Universal Display, O-L-E-D? They have LED light type things. That was up 13% today. Simple team had been a lagging software stock, finished up 29, though it was up 39 at one time.
Starting point is 00:31:59 So there were plenty of gaps to the upside. Housing was strong on the lower interest rates. That's the other thing that bothers us. You had much lower interest. interest rates today, much lower interest rates today. And typically that's been better for the market. So I'm not so sure what that means. And then on the upside, RestMed, down 40. Medical product company, down 18%. New Yearly low on that stock.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Chipotle, which just gaped to the downside, by the way, gaped to the downside last Thursday, down 32 bucks. And I don't need to go through, but there's a pretty deep mass tech. Some of the strongest stocks recently have been heavy construction stocks, building. Stock was down 18% today. Down $21 to $99. You just don't want to see too much of that. And we're getting, I don't know if we'll call it a fair share, but let's just hope you're not in any of these names.
Starting point is 00:33:12 Getting icky. So just let you know this, still good. Still good. This starting to get a little bit more bad. And what we do is we keep score. And we make lists. We have legal pads. And if our legal pads are filled up with stocks in up trends, good.
Starting point is 00:33:44 If our legal pad that was filled up and uptrends all of a sudden is cut in half, something's up. If our legal pad is empty of uptrends and all of a sudden 50 names show up, markets getting better. And you're assuming we know what we're seeing. Hopefully you have that assumption. So a little bit of an icky week. Not willing to go much further than that, but icky week. on the week the Dow was down 393 points. Not bad, 1.1%.
Starting point is 00:34:27 The S&P on the week finished down 2.27%. Hmm. That would mean the NASDAQ was down 2.85%. Remember, some of those biggies have a lot of influence on what the S&P does. The NASDAQ 100, 3% on the week. Transports, let me make sure that's right. Yeah, 2 and a quarter percent on the downside. And if anything needed to pull back its transports,
Starting point is 00:35:08 because man, oh man, some of those trucking stocks. And I'm being told the trucking stocks have been going up because of yellow freight going under and they benefit, I don't know. Now, a few things I also want to let you know that are going on that may or may not be of import. First off, the airline stocks are now on the not good side, and we've been talking about that for a couple of weeks now. And now we're hearing from the airlines that demand domestically is dropping off, so they're going to do us a favor in lower prices. Discount. Two weeks ago, I had to fly up to New York, and it was the day before.
Starting point is 00:35:50 They want to charge 600 bucks one way from Orlando. They get you when they know you have an emergency. What I just did is I flew in the next morning, got it for 170. So you got to be a little bit flexible. So the little bit of that's going on. Here in Central Florida, which is theme park capital of the world, hotel tax receipts have been down the last three months. Now, not so sure that is big time sampling, but it's just something we're watching.
Starting point is 00:36:31 You know, the consumer, they tell us is 65, 70% of the economy. And as we've said to you here, credit card usage is skyrocketing. And by the way, the average interest rate on U.S. credit card balances is now spiked to 20.7% with data going back to 1994. That's the highest rate we've ever seen. So that's not good news. And by the way, I've never paid interest on a credit card. Don't you either!
Starting point is 00:36:58 I pay off my credit card every month, every dime. They hate me because they love their 20%. And savings rates have plunged. Those two things really stick in my craw. And that's why we're mentioning to you about what's happening with travel. And look, it's from high levels. Keep in mind we had this blast. a surge of travel because of people, you know, after COVID, when it's still not that far away
Starting point is 00:37:29 from us not traveling, people just want to get the hell out. So that's going on. But by the way, Europe actually is doing better, Italy and the like, one of my favorite country to visit. I think I've been to Italy now nine times. I think it's close to 10. magnificent. I still haven't seen a ton of it yet. So just letting you know, just some things we're following. Maybe nothing. Up next. This, that, and the other thing, or whatever else. This is the one only investor's edge.
Starting point is 00:38:13 I'm Malcolm Gladwell, host of Smart Talks with IBM. I recently spoke with IBM's new director of research, Jake Embatta. We discussed his vision for the future of quantum computing. At IBM research, what we always do is answer what is the future of computing, whether it's coming up with new algorithms, coming up with better AI, coming up with quantum, or coming up with just how do different accelerators go together. It's our DNA to answer the question of what is the future. Isn't it a perfect problem for IBM because you kind of need to have a legacy of building
Starting point is 00:39:21 stuff? Yes. Building actual physical machines. Yeah, it's why I came to IBM. I wanted the experience, the culture of building hard things that others have not done before. Where do you imagine we are in the timeline of this technology? There will come a point when it will mature. Right?
Starting point is 00:39:45 Yeah. My cell phone is a mature technology at this point. How far are we from that point with Conton? By 2029, we'll build the first fault-tolerant quantum computer. That is one that can run a very, very, very, large problem. To learn how IBM is building the future of computing, visit IBM.com slash quantum. All right, quick quiz for the hiring managers out there.

Starting point is 00:41:51 One, two, ready, go. Action! In the guest's edge. with Gary Kaltba. And welcome once again to Investors Edge. So that's basically what's going on as we explain. There's still plenty of good action out there, but it's getting fewer. And this week we'll call it a distribution week and also some selling into hot opens,
Starting point is 00:42:31 which is not the biggest of deals. The 21-day moving average looks like it's being breached on the major indices, which is normal. The 50-day will come into play. That's where we have to watch closely. Anything that breaks the 50-day moving average is pretty much we're not a fan of anymore. If something we own breaks it, we'll give it a day. because sometimes you'll break below it and turn back up. If it doesn't, see you.
Starting point is 00:43:14 Wait for another day. But overall, we don't play footsie because the 50-day moving average, you cannot ascend if you're below. Doesn't mean you ascend if you're above, but you cannot ascend if you are below. So we watch that air. closely and we will just tell you you lost a few this week. Actually in the last couple of weeks, we wouldn't call at the end of the world.
Starting point is 00:44:01 What we would say, a little deterioration. If things worsen, we'll gladly let you know. We'd certainly like to see better. And a repeat. If anything changes, we'll let you know. Got a lot of emails to cover. You know what the emails were about, right? Trump fans were emailing me left and right the last day.
Starting point is 00:44:38 We appreciate you. We don't begrudge anybody for being a fan from one to the other. You know where we stand. We think they all suck. And we'll tell it to your face. with all due respect. We just leave it at that. We don't wish anybody bad.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Vladimir Putin. We can wish him bad. You get my point on that. And we love his golf courses. His Scotland golf courses to die for. To absolutely die for. There is a debate. coming up. As of now, the ex-president, I do not think, is going to be in it. I think that's a huge mistake. It lets the rest say whatever the hell they want without any pushback. Without any
Starting point is 00:45:48 pushback. We do know that Chris Christie's going to blast him. I think Mike Pence, I don't know if he's in the debate, I think he probably is. He's now going hardcore on Trump. If I were President Trump and you're friends with him, I would tell him, get your butt to the debate. And it will be on Fox News, two of my favorite people on Fox. Brett Bear and Martha McCallum will be hosting. They do a fine job, and they will pull no punches, and there'll be no favorites. It's that time again. Look how quickly everything's gone, ladies and gentlemen. Amazingly so.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Quite the quite as we say. What else is going on out there? Well, SummerSlam is tomorrow. I can't wait for that. And by the way, you do know, let me backtrack. We predicted this latest indictment, what, 10 days ago? He's going to be indicted for Georgia also. I'm guaranteeing you.
Starting point is 00:47:04 of that too. The man's going to have one hell of the next year. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes. That will be coming next, and I suspect that'll be in the next 10 days. Again, we don't wish anybody bad, but I do believe he really needs to take a step back and listen to some smart people. I don't think he has. And it's unfortunate. We've done our very best to send a message of acumen falls on deaf ears.
Starting point is 00:47:45 What else is happening in the world? Have you noticed there's no talk of Russian Ukraine, hardly any? By the way, do you know that's still going on? Imagine being Ukrainian. Unbelievable. Have you seen video of some of the cities? and Putin's still in power. Still in power.
Starting point is 00:48:23 Last part of the equation, for all of you out there that do not know, a one-year T-bill is yielding 5.4% almost. I bought a two-and-three-quarter the other day priced at 97 and change. So in the next year, I'm getting 2.3 quarter percent, and that 97's going to be. to be 100. Adding up to 5.4. Just letting you know. Free of local and state taxes, you pay federal taxes, and it's riskless income investing. Just letting you know. We're not telling you to sell you anything. You can go get it anywhere. We're just letting you know what's out there. There are people that have a lot of money in banks are not realizing at the banks. They're charging you two, they're paying you two tenths of one percent. You've got to go in there and get some.
Starting point is 00:49:19 something because they're not advertising to well they kind of advertise it but they'd rather you get two tens of one percent so they collect the rest so make sure you're on top of that that's a lot of cake my friends that all said have a great weekend drive carefully when you get home do like we do get in the pool and make sure you hug your children back on monday same time we'll be on with charles pain two p.m. Monday Fox Business Network Don't miss that.
