Starting point is 00:02:01 You'll see me, see charts, all kinds of crap as we move forward. As we state, we don't just come on here and say, this stock is strong, this stock is weak. We talk about everything that goes on. When need be, we will talk about tariffs and taxes and debt and deficits and scams and shams, and corruption and slees and wars and the total BS emanating from Washington, D.C. that has taken us 37 trillion in counting. And nobody cares. Of course. But today's October 7th. Today's October 7th, it's two years. And they still have hostages that they took two years ago as they murdered. raped
Starting point is 00:03:09 kidnapped burned to a cinder innocent men women children and infants and elderly and since we have found out
Starting point is 00:03:29 there's more than just them as the enemy we have also found out they're just not they're not just against Jews they're against Americans. Anybody who does not follow their way
Starting point is 00:03:54 and I must tell you in the two years we have watched video of people praising these murderers and we have said to you on this show and we've watched people debate each other and we're thinking debate how do you debate how do you debate somebody who praises murderers
Starting point is 00:04:27 rapists kidnappers our answer is you don't tick-tac-toe you can't win the game so you don't even play but we've watched it and we've watched people being bust into college campuses We have watched students that have been convinced that the victims are the bad guys. We have watched some politicians take the side of the bad guys. We have watched, and amazingly so, gays that know if they stepped foot in the raw, place, hung, stoned, knived, shot, dead, yet they still praise. And we try to figure out where are these people coming from, and the answer is tick, tack, toe. But now we're seeing some worldwideness. the guy who's running the UK allows.
Starting point is 00:05:50 You have British that are showing the British flag being arrested for showing the British flag. But you have Hamas lovers showing the Palestinian flags calling the death of Jews, and they're allowed. In Britain, you have thugs, you know, the Greta gal that used to be for climate change. change and found out that was waning, oh, let's go after the Jews. And then you have other people that have a lot more followers than me. The Jews. Everything the Jews. Everything the Jews.
Starting point is 00:06:39 People with millions of followers. Israel. Israel controls this. Israel controls that. Jews do. And I'm like, what happened to these people? tick-tac-toe, but it doesn't end there. You have a guy that's going to more than likely win the mayoral of New York City.
Starting point is 00:07:04 And this is what he puts out today on October 7th. Two years ago today, Hamas carried out a horrific war crime, killing more than 1,100 Israelis and kidnapping 250 more. I mourn these lives and pray for the safe return of every hostage still held. and for every family whose lives were torn apart by these atrocities. Hey, thanks. Do you know what he goes on to do for the next three paragraphs? In the aftermath of that day,
Starting point is 00:07:34 Israeli government launched a genocidal war. Death told that far exceeds 67,000, even though the 67,000 is being reported by Hamas, and even though there are videos of supposed dead people taken off their wrappings and wiping off the fake blood off their faces. with the Israeli military bombing homes, hospitals, and schools, even though the terrorists were bomb shelters in the homes, hospitals, and schools, and families were holding the hostages.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Every day in Gaza is a place where grief has run out of language. I mourn these lives and pray for the families. Our government has been complicit through it all. This must end, the occupation and apartheid. apartheid? This putts, who's going to probably be the mayor, has never been to Israel. Apartite? I've been there many a time. Jews, Christians, Muslims, Arab, Sikhs, every race, creed, color, gender, denomination. Live in peace. Work in peace. Pray in peace. You go into old Jerusalem where they have all these business stalls. You have all these business stalls.
Starting point is 00:08:52 the Muslim quarter. You had this idiot saying, oh, you see, it is racist. No, it's just called the Muslim quarter. And guess what? Jews go in there and play chess and checkers with Muslims and back and forth. That's Israel. Gaza, try being gay. Try saying anything bad. You know the Hamas is killing Palestinians. They're executing them if they deem them to be against Hamas. And there's videos of it and unfortunately the corrupt media is not reporting it. There's videos all over online. Hamas killing Palestinians, but there's no protests of that. That's okay. This putts running for mayor goes on to say these last two years have demonstrated the very worst of humanity. He's right. Hamas. We must answer it by, you get my point. People hate Jews. Only
Starting point is 00:09:58 because it's a free land, democracy, the creators of massive wealth and success, where people are free to roam and free to think. I saw Dave Chappelle the other day say he's got more free speech in Saudi Arabia than in the United States. Interesting. I doubt he talked about Mr. Khashoggi, the journalist, that was. killed there because if he would have mentioned mr. Koshoji the journalist I don't think Dave Chappelle would be found it's an insane asylum out there ladies and gentlemen no wonder Trump won't run one we the people believe in freedom and democracy and the ability to all peoples to be who they want to be and how they want to be as long as they live in the rule of law. These others do not. Up next, we'll put a

Sprinker, because if you're going to talk to yourself for an hour, you might as well publish it. It's time to switch on the integrator units and get the brain cells working.
Starting point is 00:14:32 You're listening to. Hey, this promises to be fun. Investors Edge. The last bastion of quality programming. With Gary Coltbaum. It doesn't get better than this. Let me just add a few other things. and by the way we bring this up
Starting point is 00:14:52 because these people would and want to take over the U.S. Joe Biden was going to allow it. They did not vet people coming in from the southern border. It was that bad. And if anything I praised Trump for is just that.
Starting point is 00:15:19 And by the way, my best friend in life is Muslim. This will whole talk about oh, if you are saying this, you're... No. We're against terrorists of any shape or size. The first time I was in Israel, we had to go into bomb shelter six times. One time, as I was walking out of the Carmel Market in the sunny day at 2 p.m., I believe it was,
Starting point is 00:16:03 the Iron Dome took out a missile just about above my head. they were lobbying missiles into the middle of the day in the summer in Tel Aviv. Five times. On the last time, we did not go into the shelter because we were in a restaurant on the beach in Tel Aviv. And as the sirens went off, a bunch of people ran into the kitchen where there's the bomb shelter in there. A bunch of people stayed at their tables. The tourists are the ones who went into the bomb shelters. The Israeli just sat there.
Starting point is 00:16:39 And throughout this whole time, we could not believe Israel never fought back, never lobbed any missiles back on it. And as we walked the streets and met military people and our guide introduced us to people in the military, we asked them, why isn't Israel retaliating? Oh, we're used to this. I said, wait, you're used to getting bombed? Yeah, but we got the Iron Dome, thankfully, we take it all out. Sometimes it lands, but it never harms. I know, but they're trying to kill you. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:17:20 That's what they're up against. And they call it a genocide. Do you know Israel can wipe all of them off the map? Do you know Israel has sent in millions of pounds of food, leaflets to move people? and just remember, do you know why Israel's doing what they're doing? Because Hamas said they want 1,000 October 7th. What do you do with an enemy like that? Oh, hey, let's have lunch.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Do you know what the United States would do to anybody who came into the United States and did that? Let's say from coming down from Canada or from Mexico. Do you know what the United States would do? Do you think the United States would care about a body count? Do you think any country would? Answer? No. So we're just letting you know this is not just about Israel and the Jews.
Starting point is 00:18:33 It's about democracy, our way of life, our freedoms. And boy, we are freedoms. Do you notice the protesters do not, and including the UN, they don't protest North Korea that kills their family with hellfire missiles or Sudan. You know many Christians have been murdered around the globe? Nigeria. Haiti.
Starting point is 00:19:01 You know what's going on in Haiti? Go look it up. I can go through Venezuela. Russia! We're the protests of Russia. You know why they don't protest Russia? Because Russia wouldn't take crap from them. If Greta took a flotia to Russia,
Starting point is 00:19:23 Greta would not be found ever again. We're going to fight the good fight here. We're going to fight the good fight. We love our way of life. We love this country. We love our freedoms. Tic-Tac-toe. Hey, let's move on.
Starting point is 00:19:57 I should have run from mayor of New York City. All hell's going to break loose there. All right. Dowdown 91 was worse. S&P 26, NASDAQ, 156. 53 NASDAQ 100138. Russell 2000, a little over percent. Transports got hit a little bit today.
Starting point is 00:20:19 About 1.5%. Let me just be a little bit repetitive for the peeps out there. There's like 35 to 40% of the market that's in downtrends, bearish phases or bare markets. It is imperative you avoid those areas. We keep telling you what those areas are. If those areas do not turn, and guess what, the health care had a nice little turn here, whether or not it sticks or not, we don't know. But if the weak areas don't turn, and mainly retail, restaurants, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, transports, which is the truckers, some of the rails, housing is now complete a void, if they don't turn, and the good. stuff really tops, you're going to be hearing from us. You know what the good news is? The good stuff,
Starting point is 00:21:21 they're under some pressure here. They're coming after a few names. They hit some of the semiconductors today, but it's only because they went vertical. I'd be watching the semiconductors and I'd be watching the financials slash banks. If they really come after them, you will be hearing from us. if we start to see more advanced declines day like today by the way advanced declines on the nasdaq we're 14 to 30 on the new york 15 to 28 if we see more of that you'll be hearing from us so we'll just call it distribution a little bit anything under the 50 day moving average is an avoid anything breaking below the 50 day from above it is an avoid and that's the story. Gold was up today. Gold miners were down, which means probably they'll correct
Starting point is 00:22:23 a little bit on there, on the gold. Tesla announced a new car. Stock sold off for a change. If I was Tesla right now, I would not be talking cars anymore. They're just not selling the way they used to. I'd stay on the robots and robotaxies.
Starting point is 00:22:41 The crypto came in a lot more than I would think. Broke out recently. Tucked its head in like a little frightened turtle today, but that's okay. And just some distribution in the market today. Just avoid the bad. Up next, what else in the markets? And anything else? This is the one only investor's edge. It's no use putting it off. The best time for an underwear refresh is now. Tommy John underwear is designed for a perfect fit that stays put all day. There's zero chafe thanks to four times more stretch than competing brands and their innovative horizontal quick draw fly is a game changer.

Starting point is 00:24:47 sounds familiar, you're probably already a podcaster. The good news is Spreaker makes the whole process simple. You record your show, upload it once, and Spreaker distributes it everywhere people listen. Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and about a dozen apps your cousin swears are the next big thing. Sprinker, because if you're going to talk to yourself for an hour, you might as well publish it.
Starting point is 00:25:23 We're listening to. America is talking. Investors Edge. He's got to be pleased with that. The crowd is just on his feet here. He's a Cinderella boy. With Gary Coltbaum. It comes highly recommended.
Starting point is 00:25:37 going to feel better if you talk to and walk once again to investors edge thanks for being with us today our biggest worry is the over the top froth and speculation in the markets over the top froth and speculation in the markets we have highlighted for you 20 billion dollar market caps in nuclear stocks uh uh multi-billion dollar market caps, no sales, drones, robotaxies, quantum computers. We have highlighted for you a quantum computer stock that has been public, has been trading for 25 years. Imagine being in the public domain for 25 years. I'm not making this up and has never had any sales.
Starting point is 00:27:01 In 25 years. the question is how do they not go bankrupt and now the stock's been moving up just because quantum is hot and then this has anybody heard of a gentleman by the name and by the way this is not a rip on the gentleman but I'm going to tell you what happened
Starting point is 00:27:35 yesterday and today Martin Screlli or something like that is his name. In case you don't know, it is this guy that went to jail. For some financial issue, he was running a drug company. I don't remember the whole story. I don't remember the whole story. But he went to jail. Well, he's on Twitter. And yesterday, I'm not I wish I was making this up, and it scares the hell out of me. He mentions that he's long a stock.
Starting point is 00:28:37 He says price target is $500. Now, mind you, this is a guy that went to jail for financial crimes. On drug companies, yet he puts out and just says, I am long a stock. it was $8 when he put it out and said he has a target price of $500. Now, the question is, a man went to jail for financial crimes based on drug companies, and he now puts out a drug stock that he owns. It's $8, oh, and has no sales. And one would think in a normal world, who to have a house?
Starting point is 00:29:27 hell's going to pay attention to that the stock went from eight dollars yesterday to a high of 170 and closed at 130 and then today opened up at 233 at 233 at 233 at 23rd at 3rd It's a development stage company, which means they're years away from anything, and they have no sales, and it went from 8 to 2.30. Now, those that have followed me forever know, one of the signs of a market that is getting close to give back, for lack of a better word, is froth and speculation. Well, on top of all these no sales things, I don't know if this is not an identifying mark. I'm not sure what is. I'm not sure what is. And I'm stunned.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Just when you think, this can't be. Well, it'd be. Just letting you know. We look for identifying marks in the market. The main one is anything trading below the 50-day moving average isn't a void because we know physically it cannot ascend. And why own a stock if it cannot ascend? But then there are other identifying marks, and one of them is excessive froth and speculation,
Starting point is 00:31:27 buy at any price and all that crap. And just when you think it could not get any crazier is just what I just told you. And again, we are not ripping this gentleman on this. All he did was, I'm long as stock. I doubt he knew it would do what it did and one would think, at least you would think he sold. I don't know. I haven't looked. I don't know if he said anything.
Starting point is 00:32:02 We keep this information in our file manager. How many times have we done this exercise with you? And then weeks later said, there's the market topping and it did. the many. Right now, though, I got nothing to tell you about the market topping. It was a rougher day. But the big indices are riding the rails above the 50-day moving average since April 24th, with not one drop below.
Starting point is 00:32:42 The Russell 2000, though down today, has edged above range. But the other end, Fewer and fewer stocks. More and more getting in some trouble. And we're always looking at the one plus one and get two when that is, boy, the job market's not good these days. Oh, and by the way, retail stocks, restaurant stocks, airlines, cruise lines, hotels are acting quite icky. with the restaurants in full-blown bear market and now you can throw housing in there
Starting point is 00:33:27 and housing was trying really was we bought a little stopped out I think with 3% loss we bought the ETF so just letting you know a little bit of weight of the evidence and then you get an $8 biotech
Starting point is 00:33:51 going to $230 bucks in a day off of just a mention from a guy who went to jail for financial crimes on a drug company. And you just think to yourself, what the hell is going on here? The answer is, it goes in the file manager. And we'll be ready. If it is an indication,
Starting point is 00:34:21 we'll let price decide, not a file manager move. And that's the story of that. We've also talked about the vendor financing, something we're going to be watching closely. You know it got a lot in trouble in 99 vendor financing. Go look up Lucent and what they did. Hey, we're going to loan you a ton of money and you buy our products. All we can tell you, we're watching what's going on between Nvidia and this company and that company and now chat GBT and A&N.
Starting point is 00:34:58 MD and this, that, and the other thing. And it just feels there's some incestuous crap going on. We'll see. Again, File Manager will let
Starting point is 00:35:16 price decide. We're just let you know. We've rode up the big indices since that day we mentioned. And we'll keep riding if it continues to perform. We'll be ready if it doesn't.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Why couldn't I own a stock that went from 8 to 230 overnight? It's because I don't buy $8 no sales biotex. Up next. This, that, and the other thing or whatever else. This is the one to only investors' edge. It's no use putting it off. The best time for an underwear refresh is now. Tommy John Underwear is designed for a perfect fit.
Starting point is 00:36:32 that stays put all day. Their zero-chafe thanks to four times more stretch than competing brands, and their innovative horizontal quick-draw fly is a game-changer. Starting point is 00:38:10 Sprinker, because if you're going to talk to yourself for an hour, you might as well publish it. You're listening to. What are we waiting for? Well, what are you waiting for? One, two, ready, go. Action! In The Gester's Edge. With Gary Culpa.
Starting point is 00:38:29 And welcome once again to Investor's Edge. I must tell you, I have to compliment Best Buy today. So I've had a computer, I think like 12 years, and it's going. It's going and it's gone. It's still working, but it's slow. I can tell, and I got to get in front of it. So I ordered a new computer. And I have a bunch of computers, but the other ones work fine.
Starting point is 00:39:18 I have four laptops, three desktops, but the main one looks like we're going to put it out to pasture. So I have to tell you that I had my computer guy tell me which one to get. Went on Best Buy, the local one, they had one, ordered it online, picked it up in a half hour, went there, just had a show ID, showing my phone clicked on it, boom, ready, out, one minute. Well done, Best Buy. That's the way to be done. The man was very nice.
Starting point is 00:39:59 In and out. Good to see. We've always report to you on good things that are happening, good experiences, and then every now and then we'll talk about Kmart. And who nailed that one for you? Remember, sometimes you can see things. If you don't remember or you weren't listening at the time, we would get on this show once a week and say we went to Kmart and then two miles away and one mile away.
Starting point is 00:40:31 We went to Walmart and went to Target. And at Kmart, there was nobody there to help. Shelves were empty. It was dirty. You go to Target. Fantastic. Big Red, people helping you. Everything in good shape.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Walmart. The greeter was there at the time. I don't think they have the greeter anymore. Kmart, there is no more Kmart. These are the little things you have to do. Got to remember that. And we do have a keen eye. Who told you a while back about Starbucks?
Starting point is 00:41:11 When the stock was strong into February, we were on this show complaining to you that we think they've got it wrong. That the CEO came out and said, We're not touching price. We are the exalted ones of coffee. You're going to pay up. Stocks come from 117 to 81, and now they're shutting a bunch of stores.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Well, they need to anyhow. And there's nothing wrong with shutting stores. If you have money losing stores or not performing, you do that. And in New York City, you have like a store in every corner. But these are the things we watch. And you definitely can do with the retail. We're the ones who are. quarter to you, hey, I went to Chipotle, and they're putting a lot less chicken into my chicken bowl with the brown rice and the mild and the corn.
Starting point is 00:42:12 That I had to order a double. And the double felt like a single. And two weeks later, there was a whole big complaining thing about Chipotle and the portion size. It's the little things, ladies and gentlemen. And by the way, I still worry about Starbucks. And you know what the problem is? Coffee prices are skyrocketed. They've pulled back recently, but they skyrocketed because tariffs.
Starting point is 00:42:46 50% on Brazil. Did they exempt them yet? I don't think they did. Maybe a little exemption. I'll have to look that up. We have price conscious consumer. How do we know? Lulu Lemon!
