Starting point is 00:02:13 in a room all together for the first time with a bunch of strangers who listen to podcasts isn't that right garrison that's that's right i know everyone comments on my very jock-like energy and my very kind of masculine, harsh exterior. But what most people don't know is that I'm actually kind of nerdy. And to demonstrate this, we're actually going to be at Rose City Comic Con this next weekend on September 10th. Now, listen, September 10th. I know that brings up a lot of thoughts and memories to people. Obviously, elephant in the room. September 11th, 2001 is the day that Warner Brothers decided to delay the release of the film Big Trouble starring Tim Allen and Patrick Warburton, which obviously still affects us all to this day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:02 which obviously still affects us all to this day. Yeah, and as we've discussed several times on this show, on September 11th, 1971, Pinochet overthrew the socialist government of Allende, backed by the CIA. It's a touchy subject. It's a touchy subject for those two reasons and no other. Yeah. Yeah, it's tragic.
Starting point is 00:03:18 You know, but, you know, thinking about history, maybe Venture Brothers doesn't happen if we don't have the delay of the film Big Trouble. If you want to hear more fun, nerdy facts, come see us. We have a panel at Rose City Comic Con
Starting point is 00:03:36 on Saturday, September 10th. It is at 615 in room D137. You can find it on the Rose City Comic Con website if you just go to programming. So, yes, Saturday evening, we have this panel.
Starting point is 00:03:56 So we'll be getting into all kinds of very important historical facts as we usually do on shows like Behind the Bastards. So yes, hope to see everybody there. I'm billing it mainly as a celebration of Patrick Warburton, but we'll probably have other things we talk about as well. Yeah, because he is not a bastard.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Unfortunately. He's a hero. He is a hero. Oh my god god I just realized that I said 1971 instead of 1973 I'm gonna get cancelled as a fake 9-11 fan Reddit is already on the case
Starting point is 00:04:33 well I'm sure if people have complaints they can show up in person to voice them again Saturday September 10th at 6.15 in panel room D137 wow what an incredible opportunity for everybody to be in a room i love being in rooms yeah wear wear a mask i don't want to die
Starting point is 00:04:57 masks are required at rose city comic-con yes that's good i will not be masked because i have a condition which I loudly tell people at the entrance of every grocery store I walk into. I'm allowed. I'm allowed not to wear a mask. Your condition is called insufferable. Alright, well, that does it.
Starting point is 00:05:17 That does it for us today. Have a good Labor Day thing. Yeah, because that's what today is. And as we always say, go with Christ. See you next weekend at Roasted at Comic Con.
