Starting point is 00:01:11 I'm Treasurer Wilson, AKA Stat Baby, along with your hosts, Mace and Cam. Killer was good, man. How you doing today, man? Yeah, man, it was going crazy yesterday, man, over your comment, man. It was just my comment? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:26 You know, nigga hit me and said, murder, wow, you said this is your king? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Amen, it was something good to talk about though, man. You know, glad it wasn't ignored, but it's for the people to decide, man. I'm glad it wasn't ignored, but it's for the people to decide.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I'm glad we just acknowledging stuff for other people to decide, man. But it was a good topic yesterday. Yeah, I'm just thankful that we address real topics. Yeah, absolutely. We're non-biased, I like that. Yeah, absolutely, I agree with that too. Yeah, it's not just sport, it's the culture.
Starting point is 00:02:05 So it needed to be said and y'all said what y'all felt and that was great. Okay, so last night, the 49ers beat the Jets 32 to 19. I'm just gonna ask you guys in general, how are you guys feeling about Aaron Rodgers at this moment? I thought he was not mobile really. It looked like he was just having problems,
Starting point is 00:02:25 trying to operate from the pocket. It didn't look like, to me, he was fully healthy, but other people may think differently. And the way he was throwing the ball, you could still see he got a strong arm. But it's gonna take some time. It has been almost two years. This what happen when you don't come to practice.
Starting point is 00:02:49 You don't come to pre-season. You don't come to training camp. You know what I'm saying? When you above the law, this is what happens, man. You have no chemistry with your receivers, your tight end. And one thing Aaron Rodgers did in Green Bay to me is because he has so much football knowledge and he's been around so long.
Starting point is 00:03:12 He used to belittle the coach. Not saying he's doing that with the Jets. He did that with LaFleur a lot in Green Bay. And he basically used to be like, have you been in the Super Bowl? Have you won the Super Bowl? I got more knowledge than you. You know, they had a couple of run-ins back and forth
Starting point is 00:03:28 where you could see on the sideline or things were said, et cetera, et cetera. And I think that that's Aaron Rodgers' approach. With anything, if you don't have more football knowledge than him, and a lot of people that's playing, and now we getting younger coaches, are not gonna have more football knowledge than him because he's 40 years old.
Starting point is 00:03:44 He's been playing for a long time. So he does have football knowledge, but that doesn't mean you don't need to be a practice. That doesn't mean you don't need to get in the groove of things with your receivers, your tight ends, your offensive line, et cetera. So he didn't look that great in the first quarter he did, but I don't think it was about Aaron Rodgers more or less.
Starting point is 00:04:04 I think it was more about the chemistry. Now, what I will say is that this was a tall task. This wasn't like it was a random team you face in the former NFC champions. So I don't want to judge him against the former NFC champions. But to be honest, if you want to be at the top of the totem pole, pause. This is kind of who you're going to have to play against even though they're not in the NFC,
Starting point is 00:04:28 but still this is where competition is at. So that's what I think about Aaron Rodgers right now. And the other side of the coin, I thought the 49ers looked really great. Last minute I didn't know Christian McCaffrey wasn't playing. His replacement, Jordan Mason was exceptional, man. He ended up running for 147 yards, most yards for a rookie on a Monday night game
Starting point is 00:04:50 since Arian Foster with the Houston Texans. He looked great. And the 49ers have two legit quarterback, I mean, two legit running backs right now. Brock Purdy did what he's supposed to do. Little more than game management, didn't have a touchdown, one an exception, but he did what he's supposed to do as well.
Starting point is 00:05:10 49ers look good first game of the season and really impressive, but as far as Aaron Rodgers is concerned, stat, we gotta get in the groove with things with his teammates, my personal opinion. Yeah. And then Mace, I also wanted to get your opinion on Christian McCaffrey being out.
Starting point is 00:05:25 Do you guys think that the 49ers will be okay with Christian McCaffrey's absence? Whenever they got another Mason on the field, I don't think they need a McCaffrey, you know? His mother gave him Jordan and Mason, there's nothing else you could ask for. Yeah. And they showed, you know? Yeah, can't even argue with that.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Great take. Okay, so moving along, Netflix has announced there will be a new three-part docu-series titled Aaron Rodgers Enigma set to premiere on December 17th. It will feature behind-the-scenes activities of his comeback after tearing his Achilles last year. After hearing that news, would you guys watch that docu-series?
Starting point is 00:06:12 I think we're watching it, right? I think we're watching it right now. Now, I don't know if I wanna see the documentary. Normally when you play good, Aaron Rodgers, and we gotta put respect on your name, but normally when you play good, people Rodgers, and we got to put respect on your name, but normally when you play good, people want to watch your documentary. If you keep having lackluster performances, I'm not going to be interested in watching the documentary. It's like buying sneakers.
Starting point is 00:06:35 You want to buy sneakers of guys who win. If you start losing, I'm less interested in the sneakers. You know, the same applies to any brand. So I think that's something to seriously consider. Aaron Rodgers is an interesting guy, off the field poets. He has a lot of conspiracy theories. So seriously he does. Name some of them like the Earphish Flat. He thinks the Earphish Flat, he's one of those guys,
Starting point is 00:07:03 aliens, like it's a whole lot of conspiracy theories, not just one, it's a bunch. Like, he has a lot of them shits. Like, he goes, yeah, yeah, yeah, like, yeah, to trade for Wi-Fi. We wouldn't have Wi-Fi without the aliens, according to Sid, and possibly Arundel Rogers We wouldn't have wildfire without the aliens, according to Sid and possibly Aaron Rodgers might double down on that.
Starting point is 00:07:30 But this guy is very interesting. And I'm not sure of me personally because I watch a lot of Aaron Rodgers, not just like that, but he, I don't know, I haven't watched Pat McAfee show in a while, but he used to be on there every week talking about some of these conspiracy theories. Shout out to my man, Joe Rogan.
Starting point is 00:07:52 He's Joe Rogan, used to talk about Aaron Rodgers' conspiracy theories. And to me, this is probably what this documentary is more about than him just training, because we seen a bunch of documentaries with guys coming back from injury and so on and so forth to get back on the field. So I think this is kind of where maybe they want to show him
Starting point is 00:08:12 in a TP with marijuana all around and say this is how he heals. Like it's that type of situation. I don't think this would be the average docu-series to where you're just seeing him rehabilitate himself. I think this is more of a, y'all know what Aaron be doing in his off time. And I think Aaron does a lot of shit
Starting point is 00:08:35 to piss people off as well. Like he's a nigga that lied during COVID about getting the vaccine. And then when he got caught not getting the vaccine, he like, so what? Who know what's in the vaccine. And then when he got caught not getting the vaccine, he like, so what? Who know what's in the vaccine? Shit, wow, but you know, he broke protocol to NFL. He didn't really get that penalized before,
Starting point is 00:08:53 penalized that bad because he's Aaron Rodgers. So they kind of like mentioned it and swept it under the rug and kept it moving. But during that time, you know, you had to take a stance like Kyrie Irvin did. Kyrie said, look, I'm being loud and clear about it. I'm not taking the vaccine. Aaron told niggas, I took it,
Starting point is 00:09:11 so now he's around players and whoever else acting like he got the vaccine. Then the spot got blown up. I think he's a very interesting person off the field. Is he my kind of interesting poise? I don't know. I may have to watch the trailer and make a decision from there.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Yeah. And then as far as his recovery, so he said he did a hyperbaric chamber, did some stem cells, and he had a diet with a lot of bone broth to increase the collagen levels to increase healing. So, like, of course, like you guys both noted, he did a lot of interesting things. Will the fans be interested to see it in a documentary? I'm not sure, but I guess, like you guys both noted, he did a lot of interesting things. Will the fans be interested to see it in a documentary? I'm not sure, but I guess, like you said,
Starting point is 00:09:48 we'll see once the trailer comes out. Okay, so the Lions beat the Rams 26 to 20 in overtime. Obviously, it ended up being a very close game. But how did you guys feel about the outcome, and is this the Lions' year? Oh, I'm not going there. Killa, you're gonna have to start this one. and is this the Lions' year? Oh, I'm not going there. Killa, you're going to have to start this one.
Starting point is 00:10:10 The Lions. Well, the Lions are, before the season started, they actually ranked fourth to win the Super Bowl. I believe it's the Chiefs. 49 is Ravens and then the Lions. They had a great season last year. Probably could have had a better season if their coach didn't have a lot of ego. And I like his ego.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I like his attitude a lot. Gutsy takes chances, but do you take those type of chances in playoffs or go into the playoff situations is the real key. And this year we'll see because actually Larry was talking about it with me, they're not a secret. They're not gonna creep up on anybody this year. Everybody knows that they're good.
Starting point is 00:10:55 And you know, last couple years, the year before last, they finished off the season pretty strong. Last year they had a sensational season, but nobody was kind of paying attention. They're like, oh yeah, it's the Lions, whatever. This year they know the Lions have arrived so that's the thing to figure out if they're gonna be ready for that type of pressure because in a lot of situations they're not gonna necessarily be the underdogs. So I don't know the AFC, pardon me, the
Starting point is 00:11:23 NFC is really tough after we've seen the 49ers again, especially last night. But I do like this rivalry between Detroit and LA because the two quarterbacks were traded for each other, Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff. So whenever they play each other, I like that because we have to think about this from Goff's perspective. the first year that they got traded
Starting point is 00:11:49 Matthew Stafford won a Super Bowl. So he looked like he was the problem You get what I'm saying? Like if we get rid of this nigga, I Know we could win a Super Bowl and he actually Won his Super Bowl. You get what I'm saying? That's one of those shit's like, nah, I think if we could go platinum if this nigga here ain't really part of the group no more. He hold his.
Starting point is 00:12:15 And actually get him out and go platinum. And then go platinum. So now Javid Goff have a chip on his shoulder when they play against each other. That's why exactly why the NFL lined this game up for the Sunday night football on Sunday. And they played again last year in the playoffs as well, if I'm not mistaken.
Starting point is 00:12:36 And Detroit packed them niggas up. So I do like watching these two teams play because at the end of the day, until Gulf wins the Super Bowl with Detroit, it still looks like the Rams are winning because they actually won the Super Bowl. Yeah, I think when it comes to the Detroit Lions, they just got to get better on defense because when you lose in a two a two touchdown league and a third quarter,
Starting point is 00:13:03 that's not going to be good, especially in more dominant teams. And no matter how good golf plays, if that's going to be the case on defense, you're just not going to go far without great defense, especially in that league. Okay, so we got to discuss last week's Packers versus Eagles game that happened in Brazil. So the Eagles won 34 to 29. And in the last minute's Packers versus Eagles game that happened in Brazil. So the Eagles won 34 to 29 and in the last minute Packers quarterback Jordan Love
Starting point is 00:13:29 got injured. He's expected to miss three to six weeks. What does this injury mean for the Packers? And are you guys surprised by an Eagles win? I mean, the Eagles, the moment they added Saquon, I think they became, I don't wanna say top two, but they're definitely up there. That I will put them past Detroit.
Starting point is 00:13:56 I will put them right behind. Let me see. I got them past the Ravens actually. I got them past the Ravens in rankings because when you add that kind of firepower to that team that already existed, it's only up that they can go. I mean, they're not gonna beat the Chiefs, we know that,
Starting point is 00:14:22 but they'll be right there. They should be right there I'm not putting them in title town. They they can be on the waiting list, but they're not with us yet But I don't know anybody else and I know everybody in Philly gonna get in the uproar about this Hey, don't come for me. You know, you know where I live at title town, baby, so You know where I live at, title town, baby. So, you know, they should do really good. I think I expected them to win that game, even though Jordan Love got hurt.
Starting point is 00:14:53 I think if he was playing, they would have still won the game. And what's the exact question? I know who we're talking about, but what's the question, Stats? Yeah, so what does Jordan Love's injury mean for the Packers, and are you surprised by the Eagles win? I don't really know the Packers' backup quarterback, to be honest with you. People had a lot of high hopes
Starting point is 00:15:13 for Jordan Love this season, especially that he finished off the season last year particularly well. I don't think that they were going to pass a first-round playoff situation anyway, talking about the Packers in particular. So I hope he gets back out there. I think he was feeling himself poor his last season. So I want to see what he's going to do this season,
Starting point is 00:15:36 especially it was such a big controversy when, you know, he's part of the reason Aaron Rodgers didn't want to be in Green Bay anymore. Aaron Rodgers felt for years that they'd been drafting everybody but receivers, and then when he drafted him as a quarterback, that was the final straw why Aaron Rodgers didn't wanna be in Green Bay anymore.
Starting point is 00:15:55 So they kinda handed him the franchise at the quarterback position. So I was really interested to see how he would perform this year. So it's sad that we're not gonna see him for a few weeks. And what was the question about the Eagles? Yeah, are you surprised that they won? No, I'm not surprised that the Eagles won.
Starting point is 00:16:11 I think that they should have won. What I am surprised is that the New York Giants are that stupid, not to figure it out with Saquon Barkley. That's what I'm surprised about. Y'all niggas gotta feel like shit. You gotta feel like shit. He went out on the dance floor and he danced three touchdowns. He made y'all niggas gotta feel like shit. You gotta feel like shit. He went out on the dance floor and he danced three touchdowns, he made y'all niggas pay.
Starting point is 00:16:28 And when I say pay because you're in the same division. So you gotta see him. And if he did that to Green Bay, they gonna line y'all niggas up. Y'all niggas is lying to be the Giants I'm talking about. Y'all will pay when y'all play against Saquon Barkley. Y'all niggas should figure this shit out. I mean, got RIP, OJ, we was trying to,
Starting point is 00:16:47 all last season these running backs wasn't getting paid and he was part of the problem. Him, Derek, not part of the problem, part of the niggas who wasn't getting paid, which was a problem, pardon me. And whether it was Derek Henry, Saquon Barkley's probably at the top of the list and he feels he has a fresh start now
Starting point is 00:17:03 and he danced on them niggas. So I think this would be a good security blanket for Jalen Hurts. I think that they should have beat Green Bay by a bigger margin with the weapons that, pardon me, I keep saying Jordan, Jalen Hurts has. I think the Eagles have a really good team on paper. It wasn't translating last year.
Starting point is 00:17:25 I know that Jaylen Hurts was hurt a lot last year, but he's healthy this year. You got Saquon. We got good wide outs. Let's see what Philadelphia does. I'm really interested to see what happens because the Cowboys look good too. Philly, I was predicting them to win the NFC East, but the way the Cowboys look and Joey them paid niggas niggas over there hugging like a happy, uh, this will be really interesting between the Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles seeing who wins that NFC East, uh, division. Okay. And then side note question. So of course they were playing in Brazil and they were actually playing on a soccer field, which made it super slippery for a lot of the players.
Starting point is 00:18:06 Do you guys think that that's a decision that should be changed when the next games come around? Do you think they should not be playing in Brazil? Yes, especially it should be changed. If players are getting hurt out there, you have to change that, especially when it's star players. You know, sometimes if it's someone
Starting point is 00:18:22 that just came on special teams, and this is their first time out there, and they pretty much get injured, especially when it's star players, you know, sometimes if it's someone that just came on special teams and this is their first time out there and they pretty much get injured, it doesn't mean as much. But when you have somebody of the magnitude of this young guy that goes out there, he gets hurt. And now he's set out for weeks
Starting point is 00:18:39 and they should have been contenders and all of that. You don't want that to happen, especially not in South America. Yeah, they gotta get it together. I seen a lot of players slipping all over the place, Paul is not just in Brazil. Like this season so far, it was a lot of two things I noticed
Starting point is 00:18:57 since this first week done passed. A lot of people slipping and the referees is in the way. I done seen a billion flags this fucking weekend, bro. Like, yo, I'm not saying that the calls ain't right, but act like you ain't see a couple of them, shits, my nigga. Like, y'all niggas is in the way. Flag every fucking 25 seconds, my nigga. It was annoying.
Starting point is 00:19:17 As far as the field is concerned in Brazil, the NFL is talking about doing a lot of games out the country. And if you're gonna do games out the country, you have to make sure that they're on the right turf. That's first and foremost. Secondly, players, I know y'all getting all fashion-esta, whatever you wanna call it.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Y'all niggas got Jordans on and all this shit. Make sure the cleats is right, nigga. You know what I'm saying? This ain't the regular cleats that niggas used to be wearing. You see niggas out there with Jordans, with Kobe's, with all types of shit, because it got cleats at the bottom of it.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Make sure you have the right cleats for the field. I know it's a little different from back in the day, and you could get your style on, but if y'all niggas are slipping and falling all over the place, sometimes you might be a little too stylish for the game. I'm watching all these college niggas play football. Half these niggas got Cuban on Cuban, gorilla voice. like, yo, y'all niggas getting smacked
Starting point is 00:20:08 with all these damn Cubans on. I'm sitting there, niggas is all glossy, paused, and losing. That's a lot of styling shit going on in football period, not just NFL college as well. And it's not equal enough to wins. So, make sure y'all dressed appropriately and make sure the NFL, make sure these fields are right, especially when they not equal enough to wins. So, make sure y'all dressed appropriately and make sure the NFL, make sure these fields are right,
Starting point is 00:20:28 especially when they go out the country. Good point. Okay, also wanna discuss the Giants. So the Vikings won 28 to six. Giants fans were so mad, they waited till Daniel Jones left the arena to boo at him. So what do you guys think is the issue here? Do they need a quarterback change?
Starting point is 00:20:47 Then what do you guys think of them booing at their quarterback? This is the same guy, Daniel Jones, right? That they gave the money to instead of giving it to Saquon, right? Now, when you look back at that at hindsight, that sounds really crazy. So you paid Jones and you don't pay Saquon and now
Starting point is 00:21:07 you're complaining about Jones. You knew this was what you was doing in the first place. I don't know what's going on in that organization ever since I think since what was that Eli? I've been star watching the Giants so I got the Giants up there with the Cowboys for me. It's just not something I wanna talk about. Like, when they drafted him, I knew this was horrible. So they're late on this. You're late to the party.
Starting point is 00:21:36 We should have been got rid of Jones. I know there's nobody that'll take him, but I don't know, wave the nigga. Let him go. Let him go wherever he going. If he got somewhere to go, get out of New York, man. Just get rid of him, that's what I think. I don't have a dog in the fight. Listen, Jones, don't send me no mail,
Starting point is 00:22:00 because I don't want to hear about it. You're messing the whole city up, like Killer was saying earlier. There's some niggas that got to go and you're on the got to go list. You're on the got to go list tonight. I don't know if we can wait another game. Just wave the nigga. Go get Flaco or somebody.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Anybody, man. Who else is on the New York got to go list? He's we starting a list tonight. We starting a list today. Daniel Jones gotta go, Daily News, Maze Voice, Daniel Jones got to go, man. You can't do that in New York, this is New York. My goodness.
Starting point is 00:22:45 You gotta go, man. I'm starting my list right now. You're on the top of the list, Daniel Jones. You gotta go. I don't care where you go. Where you from? Go there. But not in New York, you gotta go.
Starting point is 00:23:02 He's from North Carolina. Yeah, go stink it up in North Carolina. Go join the Panthers or something, but we need you out of there. Oh my goodness. You gotta get out of there. That's the best I could do with this. Killer helped me out because I don't know what else
Starting point is 00:23:23 to say about Daniel Jones. What's his QBR? 52? First of all, what I'll say is this before I even get to the football aspect of it, or it is the football aspect of it. Your name is Daniel. You can't be a quarterback where your name is Daniel. Like Daniel doesn't fit for quarterback. You should have started playing another position. There's no Daniel first name quarterback.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Like, your name is Daniel, nigga. It's like Stanley, you know? There's no punish names for him. That's last names maybe. You know, Chase Daniels or Lazly. Your first name is Stanley and Daniel. You can't lead nobody like that. Daniels are one, like if you're the karate kid, maybe you can't lead a group of men.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Marusso. Yeah. You can't lead a group of men. Marouso. Yeah. Yeah. You can't lead niggas. Yagi, though. Yeah, you can't lead niggas and your name is Daniel. That's first and foremost. Secondly, he made a great point, Macy. You didn't want to pay Saquon.
Starting point is 00:24:37 You paid this nigga 160 million for four years. You give a nigga 40 million years. He's part of the problem why these quarterbacks are asking for mad money too, between Deshaun Watson and him. They like, yo, come on now. Now, Deshaun Watson, at least we seen some sparks of greatness when he was down there in Houston. Daniel, I just don't even understand
Starting point is 00:24:58 why the Giants would jump out the window like that. Then he gets hurt, then he comes back and stinks it up. This is not anybody who could lead a team in New York. I'm not saying, I'm not wishing mad on you, but it's a lot of pressure in New York. But I will say the answer to that question, that's kind of not like New York. I'm a little bit disappointed in New York, in New Jersey,
Starting point is 00:25:16 because a lot of people that don't know the Giants actually play in New Jersey. We don't wait to boo niggas. You don't wait till he leaves, the boy lets you call them outside. You're booing while it's going on. That's scary, you waited till he left the ball. Yeah, we don't do that.
Starting point is 00:25:34 We let you know right then and there that you're wack and you're fucking up and we don't appreciate what you're doing. So I don't know why they waited till he left the boo the nigga. Cause that's kind of not us now. We tell niggas to they face, we don't know why they waited till he left the booting nigger because that's kind of not us now. We tell niggas to their face. We don't fuck with you.
Starting point is 00:25:48 So I don't know why they waited, but hopefully. All right. Technically, they did wait to like so they waited till he walked out the arena. So they were at the gates waiting and booing at him as he's walking out. Oh, personally, they did do it to his face. Oh, my bad. That's New York. Yeah, that's to his face face. Yeah. All right. That's New York. Yeah, that's what, to his face face. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:06 All right. I thought you meant like when he left the field, he was started more. Oh, they was like, nah, we laying on this nigga. Yeah. They just said, nah, we waiting out the game for this nigga right here. And that's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:26:18 That's what I do appreciate. Nah, we ain't going home. He gotta come out this way. And we gonna let this nigga know we don't appreciate what he did. Welcome to New York, nigga. He gotta come out this way. And we gonna let this nigga know we don't appreciate what he did. Welcome to New York, nigga. You gotta get it together fast. You fucked up all last season being injured.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I'm not saying fucked up because you was injured, but you don't have the cachet that Aaron Rodgers have. And let me tell you one thing too. Let it go a few weeks and Aaron Rodgers don't get it. Get it together. They gonna be waiting for him. They gonna be waiting for him and boo him too, man. So it's not personal, bro.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Not personal at all. So we'll see what happens, but the Giants' future doesn't look good. And then Mase, to answer your question, Daniel Jones' QBR is 16.6 right now. The only two quarterbacks under him are Bryce Young and then last Deshaun Watson. 16? Yeah. Oh my goodness. Yeah, it's bad. The two quarterbacks under him are Bryce Young and then last Deshaun Watson. 16.
Starting point is 00:27:05 Yeah. Oh my goodness. Yeah, it's bad. Nigga can't even get a drink. Nigga, nigga, nigga, nigga, 16. Yeah. Yeah. It's not 16.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Ah, 16. It's crazy, bro. 16, crazy. That's wild. Okay. It's your young QBR heard the muggle. Niggas need a permission slip. How did he get a hundred million?
Starting point is 00:27:31 It's his agent. Yeah, you gotta give the agent the credit. Agent did his thing. Yep, 92 million guaranteed, 36 million dollar signing bonus, 160 million over four years. And Saquon only got 26 guaranteed. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:49 Can't get mad at Daniel. If you're a New York Giants fan, you can. Yeah, for sure. Okay, so many fans were upset that the NFL started season by playing the black national anthem before the star spangled banner at the Ravens versus Chiefs game last week Do you guys see an issue with this?
Starting point is 00:28:09 How does the um the black national anthem go? Oh that one yeah, go ahead sing it. Let me get the words Go ahead, sing it, let me get the words. I don't know the rest of the words. Oh, so you went through the, you a black sister, you don't know the black national anthem. Guys, we found out there's a lot of things I've learned. I've heard it a lot, do I know the words? No, sorry y'all.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Give me the first words again. Lift every voice. Oh, I know that one. Say crazy, that's all, that's all I know, the white national anthem. Oh, I know that one. See? She crazy, but y'all know the white national anthem. Yeah, yeah. And she wearing all black. I'm talking to you too, man. I know the words.
Starting point is 00:28:55 So what it go like? What it sound like? What it sound like? I was trying to see if she knows. So you finish, you go, second line, you go. And you got the third. I don't know the white one. All I know is Osei, can you see?
Starting point is 00:29:11 I don't be paying that shit no more like that. Every boy say. In the harmony of liberty, I know it. Yeah, you didn't graduate, Starr. I graduated, but that's not what they had us sing in. Oh yeah, we had to sing that in graduation. Last time I graduated was elementary school. And we had to sing, I Believe the Children of the Future,
Starting point is 00:29:40 when I was there, when I graduated. That was my last graduation. Whitney Houston. Oh my goodness. What was the question against that? Do you guys see an issue with them playing the black national anthem? I think we've been making too much issues
Starting point is 00:30:02 about black and white stuff actually. I think there's a lot going on and things that we do need to pay attention to But I think people be milking the black and white issue a lot Pause Yeah Yeah, white people gonna be mad like now they changing up they get get everything. Black presidents, black national anthems, niggas, white people don't like that shit. They not gonna like a black national anthem. First of all, niggas took a knee,
Starting point is 00:30:32 they kick niggas out, then niggas came back around and say, yeah, the police brutality's crazy, get settled out of college capital. Look, there've been a lot of racial issues with the NFL the last few years. So I guess the NFL's like, yo, just throw the black shit in there, man. You know, like, because, no, we fuck with them like that.
Starting point is 00:30:49 And the white audience probably didn't like it. I don't see anybody black, probably was like, I don't see nobody black, and I don't know this, I'm just going off of what Stat said. I don't know anybody who black was like, oh, here we go with the black national anthem. I can't see nobody black doing that. So the people who was mad had to be white
Starting point is 00:31:09 because the black people was like, okay, okay, they're giving us one. I could dig it, I could dig it. So everybody- Ravens, go Ravens. So whoever was mad was probably white. Look, everything can't stay the same forever. And I'll just take that take on it that
Starting point is 00:31:27 a lot of people are scared to change, you know what I'm saying? Sun City, that's one man he's scared to work with. He's another one scared to change. He's mad that there's no more phone booths in New York City. He's upset about that. He's mad that if you go to Mr. Softie Paws, that ice cream cone is 8.50. He start telling them how much he used to pay
Starting point is 00:31:46 for ice cream cone. It's a lot of change going on and things ain't gonna stay the same. Is this gonna happen every week? I have no idea, I don't know, but I'm not mad at it either way. Yeah, not mad at it either way. Me personally, I think it could have been worse.
Starting point is 00:32:02 I think they could have just led with the black national anthem and didn't do the white one. I think that would have been even more. And that was something I was gonna say. I wasn't gonna say, not say it if they didn't do the white one, if they did the black one last, they would have been mad that it was last.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Why did you put us last? Yeah, no, I'm talking about the white people. No, I ain't gonna say white people, pardon me. The original national anthem, if you would have did that first, and then did the black one last, it would be like, they finishing off with that pause. Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:36 You know what I mean? So now we ending with that. Then if you go first, oh, we starting with that? Yeah, this is where we start. It's no win situation. And then there'll be people arguing, how do we know that was the first one, the original one? Yeah, it's always an argument.
Starting point is 00:32:53 You know what I tell people, Mace? And this is serious. People can find reasons to complain about anything. You can't relate to what I'm about to say. What do you mean I can't relate? You can't relate. How do you know what I can relate to? All right, fine.
Starting point is 00:33:14 When people are watching porn. Okay. Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate?
Starting point is 00:33:24 Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? Can you relate? I tried to put you out of it. You're going to try and walk me there. You're going to try and walk me there so I want you to know how I can relate to it. I tried to leave you out of it. Mind your business, Jerome. Mind your business.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I was trying to leave you out, though, shit. You trying to walk me down, got an attitude. Okay, go ahead. Now you know what I can relate to. We can relate. All right. Anyway, when people are watching porn, there's comments at the bottom like,
Starting point is 00:34:06 yo, shit was kinda wack, yo. Yo, what he shoulda did was grab the hair and, yo, yo, he shoulda bust a nut inside of her this, that, and that. And you be like, yo, pause, super pause, super pause. Was you in a jerk off, boss? Were you here to rate the porn? Or do you go through the porn sites and rate all the porn you see
Starting point is 00:34:35 and put your comments in them so you can have an opinion on all the porn that you've seen? Like niggas complain about anything, bro. You could, if you got a phone or computer, you can complain about anything you want. And that's what I was trying to refer to when I said that. Yeah. Who's reading this ratings?
Starting point is 00:34:58 Nah, what I'm saying is, see you don't know how it work. You watch Pornhub, there's little boxes at the bottom that lead you to other pornos. So then when you're going down there, you don't know how it work. You watch Pornhub, there's little boxes at the bottom that lead you to other pornos. So then when you're going down there, you see comments, you be like, comments? Then you end up reading the shit, you like, niggas is in here, comment? Says, wow, so.
Starting point is 00:35:20 So I explained all that to you, man. The whole point was that niggas that hate on anything. That's what I, that was the point I was trying to say. Oh, we see the TV drama. Time out. We need time out. We'll do a quick little fun fact before we go to break. So the writer of the Negro National Anthem,
Starting point is 00:35:39 who do you guys think, where do you think he was from? That wrote it. Harlem. Harlem, that's your answer? What do you think he was from that wrote it? Harlem. Harlem, that's your answer? What do you think? Savannah. Okay, Kansas? The answer is Jacksonville.
Starting point is 00:35:53 So on that note, we're gonna go to break. We return, we will discuss Angel Reese's announcement. They touch our shit all these years. They just push our back out in 2024. It's a win for us. OK, again, we're going to go to break. When we return, we will discuss Angel Reese's announcement. Don't go anywhere. She call this thing a boss toxic
Starting point is 00:36:30 Four years and counting Got you feeling like the option Maybe I'm her own problem, babe She tired of hearing I don't know What's up and that meat won't fall Killing with this thing called trust But she ain't really thinking about us She wanna be free Why am I here? She wanna be free Hell, I don't want to see a walk away. I wish somebody told me to rules disagreements, let a win. And it's even when I'm right to say about you.
Starting point is 00:37:16 Welcome back. Now let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day. So this Thursday, the bills will play the Dolphins underdog fantasy Fantasy has Josh Allen at 247.5 passing yards. Do you have him higher or lower? Mace? Higher. We going higher. Higher as well.
Starting point is 00:37:31 I think this is going to be a good game. OK. Tua is at 269.5 passing yards. Do you have him higher or lower? Cam? This is tough, man, when it comes to Tua. His yardage, because you could get Tyreek Hill to run man, when it comes to tour his, his, his yardage, because you could get Tyreek Hill to run for 80 yards after he catch it.
Starting point is 00:37:51 And that just goes to his passing yardage. Damn. I'm gonna have to, I'm gonna, only reason I'm gonna go high is cause this is a lot, I don't know how they gonna do it, but it should be some type of way to separate the yards after the catch. Because if you could throw, if you throw the ball
Starting point is 00:38:10 three yards and the nigga runs 60 yards, that's a 63 yard pass from the quarterback. You know what I'm saying? So I'm gonna go higher. Yeah, I'm definitely going higher. Okay, and Tyree Kills at 98 and a half receiving yards. Do you have him higher or lower mace? Higher.
Starting point is 00:38:29 I'm gonna go lower. Okay, if you guys like the picks, remember it's No Sweat Tuesday. When you open your app and make a qualifying entry, you either win money or get your money back as bonus cash. So remember, you can't lose on this one, so make sure to download the Underdog Fantasy app so you can make your picks too.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Okay, so Angel Reese is officially out for the rest of the season with a season-ending wrist injury. So in her announcement, she said, I never would have imagined the last bucket of my rookie season would be a three, but maybe that was God saying, give them a taste of what they will be seeing more of in year two. So the Sky has six regular season games left.
Starting point is 00:39:07 What was you guys' reaction when you heard the news? I was really sad that this happened because I hope this is not a way that they're gonna try to give the rookie of the year straight to Kaelin Clark because Angel wasn't able to finish the rest of the season. That, that, that's what immediately came to my mind when it happened. You know, I know a lot of times I've said different things, um, pertaining to Angel Reese, but I think she had a phenomenal rookie year. Um,
Starting point is 00:39:42 I look forward to her coming back like a monster to the WNBA, like totally taking over it from her position standpoint. And this is really sad to hear because I was also looking forward to seeing what she was gonna do in the playoffs and seeing if the legend was gonna grow even higher than that.
Starting point is 00:40:02 So we wish you a very speedy recovery from here at It Is What It Is. And we look forward to seeing you ball again. You've been a great to this games thus far and keep up the great work. Yeah, sad to hear. And that's what immediately what I thought, kind of what you thought Mason,
Starting point is 00:40:18 and it wasn't about, I know they're not gonna give it to Caitlin Clark. I was more like, they're gonna give it to Caitlin Clark because she's finishing out the season. Angel Reese had a phenomenal season. She averaged 13 and 13, 13 points, 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, which was phenomenal. Most rebounds in one season in WNBA history,
Starting point is 00:40:41 not just for rookies, period. We sat there and listened to Diana Taurasi before the season, how she says it's gonna be a learning curve for these rookies, and they're not just gonna come in and do what they wanna do, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And it seemed like they came in and started busting ass, not immediately, but once they got their feet wet,
Starting point is 00:40:59 talking about Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, they seemed like they had a better season than you, Diana. I'm not sure I wasn't keeping up with your stats and everything, but they played very, very well this season. Like May said, speedy recovery. We're looking forward to seeing you next season. It's sad because the last four or five years, pardon four or five years, I'm exaggerating, last two or three years, we've been able to see
Starting point is 00:41:25 Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese with a bunch of other females, Camilla, a few others in November. In November through March, or probably April. We're not gonna be able to see them until next April, which is really sad because I've been enjoying watching them play college basketball the last few years. So we gotta think about this. I know it'd be new ladies to come this year
Starting point is 00:41:51 in college basketball, but we're not gonna see Angel Reese and Kaitlyn Clark till next April. So it's gonna be sad that we're not gonna see them and speedy recovery, good luck. And Kim, I wanted to ask you something. I know you was paying for the baddies who get fines. Are you willing to pay for Angel Reese's surgery if she gets surgery?
Starting point is 00:42:10 Yeah, yeah, she need that. I definitely pay for the surgery. She need me to go up there while she getting the surgery. You know, I'll sit it out. So let me know if you need me to come pay for the surgery and be there, that's fine. She should have insurance though. Hopefully.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Definitely does. Okay, so the body cam footage of Tyreke Hill's detainment was released. The police approached Tyreke and knocked on his window. Tyreke told the officer, don't knock on my window like that. He then didn't want to roll his window down and the situation completely escalated.
Starting point is 00:42:47 After seeing the footage, what are you guys' thoughts on the incident? Oh, man. PFFT. To be honest with you, were they excessive? Yes, but did they overdo it, knee in the back? You know, wrangled them down, uh, face down, et cetera. Yes, were they excessive? Yes, but did they overdo it, knee in the back, wrangled them down, face down, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Yes, they were excessive. But to be honest with you, and I'm not taking the police side, if Tyreek would have gave them niggas this license, it probably would have been over with in five minutes. Yo, I got a game, I'm Tyreek Hill. I'm sorry about not having my seatbelt on. I gotta go.
Starting point is 00:43:22 That would have been the end of it. Tell me, man, give them a fucking window like that nigga. Nigga knocking on his window. That's what I'm talking about. That's the aggression. But this is what I'm saying. Just think about sometimes, a lot of times, not just police scenarios or anything,
Starting point is 00:43:36 you kill people with kindness. And if you kill them with kindness, they can't say nothing. So if he were to just game his license, like look, I got a game in a minute. Could you please give me my ticket because I'm gonna be late. Probably wouldn't happen. Were they overly aggressive once the situation got out of hand the police I'm talking about? Yes absolutely. Knee in the back putting
Starting point is 00:43:55 his arm around his neck etc. But I'm telling niggas how to avoid that because a lot of times we do get angry when you come up to our window. Like I'll give you a situation where the police officer with me, I already know I'm just not arguing with police because like May said, we was talking about off camera, right then and there, they're the judge and jury. So if they feel like they should shoot you or tase you
Starting point is 00:44:18 or lock you up or whatever, you don't get to tell your case till later. That particular moment right there, they get to tell your case till later. That particular moment right there, they get to decide what's gonna happen. And you know, I was speeding, we was racing on the highway one day and I got pulled over. And the cop pulled me over. And I was speeding, I know I was doing
Starting point is 00:44:40 what I wasn't supposed to be doing, et cetera. But he came, he had me wait for 30 minutes for he'd process the tickets, et cetera. So he's holding my ticket in the hand and he's giving me a lecture. And I told him, are you gonna give me the lecture or the ticket? I don't want both.
Starting point is 00:44:58 I don't mind taking one or the other, but I don't wanna be lectured if you're gonna give me a ticket. He said, you know what, stay right there, I'll be right back. And made me wait another 35 minutes to get wherever I had to go. He's like, I was thinking about which one I want to give you.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Here's the ticket. But he wasted an hour and a half of my time. So these niggas be, you gotta realize, these police be mad, they be aggy, they probably not getting the pay that they wanna pay. You in these foreign cars, they angry. I'm not saying that Tyreq did nothing wrong, but I'm telling them black Americans,
Starting point is 00:45:31 these niggas don't like when we styling, so just be careful out there. And especially, you know, we got kids and nephews and cousins and nieces that's young coming up. Y'all need to just relax, don't argue, because nine out of 10 times, getting hostile with the police when you're pulled over doesn't go our way when you're a male or female of color.
Starting point is 00:45:53 So then that's where he went wrong, being aggressive. What I'm saying, you told a nigga wow, loud, or don't. That's what you- No, I'm saying if you're gonna be that wowed, then know that when you get out the car, they're just matching your energy. That's what they did. You showed a form of aggression and they just matched it.
Starting point is 00:46:16 You didn't mean it, but you know. So if he was currently killed, if he wasn't him, would he have gone to jail normally? He went to jail, or he's detained, point being. Probably would have gotten more than that. Yeah, that's a fact. Where we're from, if they tell you get out the car and I'm like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:46:34 Bro, I ain't getting out the car. So then you know right there, it's like being in the streets. You know somebody say something to you and you know you don't wanna smoke. You take the non-violent approach. But if you take the violent approach when they get aggressive,
Starting point is 00:46:50 can't act like you don't know what happened. You know what happened. I do just wanna add though, like violent or not violent, different outcomes happen to different people all the time. So it's like, even though, you know, like you're saying like, you're saying, like, don't be aggressive, people have different definitions
Starting point is 00:47:08 of what you define aggressive as. Because I don't even think he was being aggressive. Like, granted, obviously, I don't know Tyree Kill personally, and neither do the police officers. That's just him being him. And like you guys were kind of saying, anybody can take that how they want to take that. Yeah, I think the point that killer said was really the point they're the
Starting point is 00:47:29 judge and the jury. So you don't decide you could apply. You could apply cause they have the advantage point to say whether this goes good or bad for you. So that's not in your power, even though you have the power to make whatever choice you want or whatever choice you want or whatever statement you want at the end of the day, the man on the opposite side of the glass is determining if it's going to be a good or bad day for you.
Starting point is 00:47:54 So to not consider that will be unwise. Yeah, and look, you could be right. I'm not talking about you two talking. I'm talking about in this situation. You could be right and like, this nigga about you two talking, I'm talking about in this situation, you could be right in like, this nigga's dead wrong, et cetera, et cetera, but you ain't gonna be able to tell that story til later because you're going to jail right then and there, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:48:14 That's all I was saying about it. Yeah, so I was joking at first, but it's really not a joking matter because this happened to black people all the time. It's just so happened that this is Tariq Hill and we got to see it, but far worse have happened to males and females. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:34 It's a video out now circulating on social media and it's a white cop going through a traffic stop. And he's like, he knows the law, but he's white. And he says, look, I'm so and so. I don't remember the verbiage actually, but he basically tells them at the window, look, I'm so and so, I know my rights, and I have the right not to answer any questions,
Starting point is 00:49:00 yada, yada, yada, yada, yada. So the cop says, okay, cool. So the cop asks him for his license, he give him his license, then he asks him, what you drinking tonight? The niggas just look straight. He already told him I don't have to answer no questions. And the cop gave him his license back and kept going.
Starting point is 00:49:18 That's not gonna happen for you black people. It's not gonna happen for you, bro. And that's another point that while we're talking It's not gonna happen for you, bro. And that's another point that while we're talking about this, it's like the force has been taught who to respect. That's the real issue. The real underlying issue is that the force and those on the force have been taught who to respect.
Starting point is 00:49:43 So there's a certain people that they respect that I could see one guy, he gets in the car and he says, you know what, why are you stopping me? A little white kid or whatever. And they do not deal with him the same way because they've been taught to respect this culture of people a different way. And that's just what it boils down to.
Starting point is 00:50:03 It's just like, if I teach everybody in this room, you know, when Cam comes in, we must treat them like this, then that's how people are going to treat you. They're going to treat you how they were trained to treat you. And I think that's the bigger issue that we got to teach people and the officers that you got to, you got to care for this culture of people as well, even though they're not like you, because the actions and aggression shows that there's a fear towards us.
Starting point is 00:50:32 That anger that he displayed to Tyreke is really a fear, but it's coming out as aggression. But thankfully, you know, Tyreke Hill was okay and was able to continue on and play because not everybody gets that second chance. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so Gatorade has signed four new athletes to endorsement deals,
Starting point is 00:50:52 that being Lamar Jackson, Justin Jefferson, Puka Nakua, and flag football star Diana Flores. So thoughts on these picks and do you guys think anybody is missing from this list? on these picks and do you guys think anybody is missing from this list? Mahomes. He's a part of the brothers too. You know, since we're on this whole teaching people to respect the brothers, Patrick Mahomes
Starting point is 00:51:15 is a part of the brothers. I see they named some good brothers. That would be a good brother to add to that list. So everybody they named is black basically? Well no, Diana Flores is a Mexican flag football player. Everybody's not white? Yeah. Okay, that's what I was trying to say.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Add me nigga. Yeah. Add niggas. Yeah, y'all wanna gentrify. Yeah, add me to the shit. I'll drink some Gatorade my nigga, pause. I don't know, thatas, I'll add niggas. Yeah, y'all wanna gentrify? Yeah, add me to the shit. I'll drink some Gatorade, my nigga. Pause. I don't know, that was, I mean,
Starting point is 00:51:49 it's great that they added to the list. No, all jokes aside, Ad Killer the- No, no, I wasn't joking a little bit, man. I'ma make a Gatorade commercial. I'ma film one in like my resume and shit, send it in. We're gonna feature it on the show and see how it goes. But I mean, I think it's great. Gatorade, look, this is nothing new.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Gatorade been fucking with people, not badly. I'm talking about Michael Jordan, my Andrew Johnson. They've been going around, they've been around since I've been watching TV. So all these new athletes to sign with them, congratulations. And Gatorade, congratulations to y'all for keeping y'all business afloat this long at a high level.
Starting point is 00:52:29 Mm-hmm. Point. Okay, so last one before we close. So Denver's Jamal Murray agreed to a four-year, $209 million max contract extension, keeping him with the team through 2029. What does this mean for the Denver Nuggets? Hopefully this this means another championship for them. I was really surprised that they didn't make it further than they did last year. I'm gonna go on the record and go back with them. I know they got Russell Westbrook. I would love to see
Starting point is 00:53:02 them win with with Russell Westbrook on that team. And I wish them the best, especially out in the West. Hey Jamal Murray, he had a sensational season last year. He actually, a couple of buzzer beaters in the playoffs made them extend their playoff run last year. The year before that, when they won the championship, they weren't the one that without him.
Starting point is 00:53:26 The years that he was hurt, they didn't make it far in the playoffs without him. He's a key piece to that Denver Nugget team. And I'm glad that they recognized that. The crazy shit that I wanna know what the joker gonna get when his contract is up, the time his contract is up, he might get $17 billion or something.
Starting point is 00:53:42 You know what I'm saying?, congratulations to Jamal Murray. I think, I think he's a really, really good point guard and, uh, he compliments the Joker really well. Yeah. Couldn't agree more. Okay. Well, that's all the time that we have for today. Thanks for watching.
Starting point is 00:53:58 And as always, it is what it is. Thanks for watching guys!
