Shit man, just got back, took the ride out here, made sure I'm back in studio.
Niggas don't like me on Zoom, man.
They don't.
Yeah.
Niggas be mad.
You missed a phenomenal game.
Which game is this?
Um, the, the is what it is classic.
Oh, the Tuesday morning.
The Tuesday is classic.
Oh, the Tuesday morning.
The Tuesday morning classic.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
What happened?
You went and represented ownership.
Ownership came in.
Ownership didn't like what I saw.
We didn't look good.
Yeah, there was a double stinking.
Who wasn't look good? Yeah, that was a double stinking. Who wasn't looking good, though? Hey, Nick, can we play the ring, Nick?
This is it.
I should have 100 in this gondolier.
This is Manny White here playing Eric Morales and Marquez.
And what?
And White only had about like four or six points, man.
Not against these guys.
I would kill these guys.
Oh my goodness, Nick.
Enough of the tape.
You don't see me.
This is the league.
This is the league. This is the league.
This is the league.
This is the league I'm talking about.
Where's the footage that we played?
All right, look, before we start the show,
give us 90 seconds of what the problem is,
why y'all didn't play good together.
And not only that, ownership came today,
and it didn't look good.
Keep it up, but first of all, our team, our whole team wasn't even there.
That's number one.
Number two, we supposed to be playing 40 and over lead.
We playing against a young dude, 21, 8 for 15 from 3.
Nobody ain't stopping this dude.
They're not on our team.
Nobody ain't getting back.
Who told you it was 40 and over?
Why would you was there?
You talking about the team wasn't there.
I did what I had to do.
You were there. That's right. I had two briefs. Why did you was there? You told them the team wasn't there. I did what I had to do.
You were there.
That's right, I had two three's.
You did not if y'all lost by 20.
How did you do what you had to do?
You got a team, everybody else on the team.
Dudes wasn't doing nothing.
Dudes wasn't getting back on defense.
Sometimes dudes getting the ball, they just shooting.
I had 6.7 rebounds about four six.
That's what I mean.
Seven rebounds?
I'm 49.
Yo PT, he had seven rebounds, Pete?
Maybe eight.
Yeah, let's get boards.
Okay.
Who is dudes though?
Who are the dudes that you're talking about?
That sound like, you know,
you dry snitching on somebody.
Who is dudes?
Our best players weren't there.
My dude Mark wasn't there.
The two guards that we have there wasn't there.
We had to, you know, add people at the last minute.
It didn't work.
You saying me and PT was trash today.
No, PT played defense.
Larry, you didn't do nothing.
You know the thing about it is this, Mace.
Well, listen, hold on, Cam.
Before I say this, I just want to say,
I'm a champion over here, playboy.
Title town.
Before you came, we had champions,
before you came, I never lost by 30.
Let's keep it behind you.
Oh, listen, he from title town, two titles back to back.
I've been in the league this whole time,
I ain't never lost by 30, ever, ever, Playboy.
You lost by 30?
Listen, listen.
Not because of me. I blew a gasket in the furnace. Yo, listen, keep it ever. You lost my 30s? Listen, young mace. Not because of me.
I blew a gasket in the furnace.
Yo, listen, call me Lord of the Rings.
I got massive chips.
We're not even gonna go there.
Nick, I'm gonna have that footage for you tomorrow.
Lord of the Rings, trust me.
Look like the Howlin' Wolf.
Murda, let me tell you something.
The nigga that he, I'm just saying,
I don't know, times has changed.
Times has changed and people have evolved.
But when he said he didn't have his team,
and this is no offense, none whatsoever
to my niggas, because they nice.
What he's saying is that the niggas that did show up
left them with the team, they white.
Even.
Hey, hey.
One white, two blacks. Nah, it's two white niggas that be killing.
White bread is depending on the white.
White, yes.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
You're like, we ain't even out.
Listen, I used to, pause, when I played last, I know people evolved and caught up to game
court.
Man, man, man, I used to get excited, pause, a white guy trying to guard me.
Pull up if you want to.
Pull up if you want.
Now I know, like I said, Europeans done evolved
and we got some nice white Americans, I seen it.
But the people he's saying they're sure murdered is.
It's Caucasians.
Yeah, my man Mark is nice though, Mark is nice. Mark is nice. Two black guards. And Mark is Caucasians. Yeah, my man, Mark is nice though. Mark is nice. Mark has some brothers.
Mark is nice.
Two black guards.
And Mark is over 50.
Yeah, but Mark is nice.
We needed Mark today.
But that's what I'm trying to say.
You keep talking about this league over 40.
You know, Mark ain't complaining.
We thought you was the one that ignited the league.
Listen.
And you're talking about Mark.
Who is Mark?
I never met Mark.
I'm just saying what it is.
I'm two and one, because I was two and old last week.
I'm just saying who we played against, though.
We played 21-year-old black kid, eight for 15 from three,
throwing it.
How tall was he?
He might have been like, what, six four?
No.
How tall is that?
I'm six two.
Man, that kid was like, that kid was like 6 foot.
Not even close.
He wasn't even, I was talking to him, I promise you.
He seemed 6'4", right?
You know what, you was in real slow motion today.
You was in slow motion.
Ask Slowey how much he had.
I zipped, I blew a calf, I blew a calf.
I blew a gasket in the first three minutes and I was done.
I got a couple of threes.
Listen.
Listen.
Listen.
Listen.
Listen.
We're supposed to play in a 2-3 zone. We played a 1-3. Where was Larry? I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna Yeah. That'll be 2 p.m. Eastern if you ever work.
11 a.m. Pacific time.
We're gonna have the whole game live
on It Is What It Is page.
So therefore you guys can see for yourself.
And listen, Mason, don't come out that often.
I know you felt the way.
Yeah.
It was embarrassing for us.
It was embarrassing.
This is what they've been asking me to come see.
They're double stinking.
Game is over from Jump Ball.
Well, we definitely can't wait to see next week because I think we're all expecting
some updates from y'all.
Bring your A-game.
If we play against any of those teams that you just showed, I'm going.
That's all I'm saying.
We'll remember that.
It's live. It's recorded. It's taped. Okay. So's all I'm saying. We'll remember that. It's live.
It's recorded.
It's taped.
Okay.
So let's discuss some football.
We didn't discuss a couple games on Sunday, so let's start with the Eagles.
Eagles fans are in shambles after a 33-16 loss to the Bucs on Sunday, putting them at
a 2-2 record.
Mace, how do you feel about the Eagles season so far?
Um, this is pretty surprising.
I'm really surprised with how the, um, the, the Eagles have underperformed
because at the top of the year, before we started, I believe they were one of
the teams that I would think would do really well, especially because they added
Saquon Barkley and to this team that already seemed
like a pretty decent team.
And I thought they would come back with a vengeance
from last year because it seemed like last year
they were just barely getting by,
but they were winning games, but it was ugly
the way they were winning.
And I know I gave them a lot of props for being able to win when it's ugly,
but don't make this a lifestyle. You know, that happened as a year,
but it seemed like they tried the same approach this year and is,
and it's terribly not working. It seemed like there's something really
not clicking in that locker room. I mean, I know they did play without two
wide receivers.
They didn't have AJ Brown. They didn't have Devontae. So I got to cut them some slack
with that because they didn't have two of them major wide receivers.
This just seems like kind of where they left off last season. subpar. And to be honest with you, the talk of the first four games,
as far as that division is concerned,
is the Washington Commanders.
Everybody's really excited about the Washington Commanders.
And watching them play, I know we gave Jayden,
Jay, what's his quarterback, Jayden?
Jayden Ding.
It was a hard time, his first game.
I'm like, I really did that
because I didn't like that he beat the Bengals,
so I tried to sweep his shit under the rug.
You know what I'm saying?
But he came back and overperformed.
This week, he did his motherfucking thing.
I'm really excited again about the Washington Commanders
as far as the Eagles concern.
May sum it up pretty good.
I don't know if they're gonna be better than the Cowboys.
They're looking exactly like the Cowboys.
And the Commanders are looking like the team to beat
in the division.
Michael Irvin said it looks like they're having fun,
and fun is turning to wins, and that builds up momentum.
On the other hand, Tampa Bay, really exciting to watch, man.
Before the season start, I told Stam,
like yo, this is gonna be my sleeper team.
They got one loss, but them niggas look good.
Baker Mayfield looked fucking good.
I think, I don't have my computer in front of me,
but I believe he had 347 passing yards, two touchdowns.
This game also shot to my nigga Mike Evans.
He became the all-time lead in scorer
with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Godwin had good yards.
Listen, Tampa Bay, see Baker Mayfield's like this, my nigga.
Baker Mayfield was so annoying when he came into the league
because he was annoying in college, but he's a winner.
When I say annoying, you know,
he seemed like one of those spoiled rich kids
that just knew how to play football.
So when he loses, you're kind of happy that he loses.
And he's in a good situation right now.
I don't think he's in a great situation at Cleveland.
I think this is the right situation.
But listen, man, the NFC is really,
really wide open right now.
Pause.
We had the other night, Detroit beat Seattle,
which was a fucking great ass game.
I watched that from beginning to end.
We see, we gotta see what the 49ers look like
when they come back healthy.
Tampa Bears looking good.
Seattle, even though they lost, they're looking good.
I like the NFC because we're not sure it's a clear cut winner,
especially with the 49s being injured.
I'm excited about watching the NFC this season.
And shout out to Tampa Bay.
Shout out to Tampa.
Okay, and then the Bills had a rough loss
to the Ravens 35 to 10.
This is also a crazy coincidence
because the Bills just posted a promo
actually featuring
it is what it is about how people were calling Josh Allen and overrated quarterback.
So after seeing that game, did you guys expect the bills to lose this versus the Ravens?
Oh, no, definitely not.
Especially because they were running their mouth and, and putting us, like you
said, adding us.
And when you add it is what it is, your is mandatory that you perform for all of
you out there feeling like you're going to use us, promo, you're going to use us
for click bait, you're going to use us as memes, remember that's just going to put
more eyeballs on you and you have to be ready
to perform and I think they weren't ready they weren't ready in fact when I look at
like how Lamar Jackson he didn't go too crazy on him but it was enough to get the job done
and 180 yards will never do it for Josh Allen I don't think he could ever win a game,
especially against a premier team like the Ravens
at 180 yards.
You gotta be, remember last year I gave a quote.
I said when quarterbacks are normally,
the first quarterback, I think it was 250 or two, let's say 250.
The first quarterback to 250 normally wins the game.
The first quarterback normally to 225
last year wins the game.
And I'm gonna stick with that this year.
So is up in the air with both of them having 180,
Lamar Jackson at 156.
But the difference is the 87 yards that Henry had,
when you got Henry running crazy
all through the Bills defense,
it was just like they were doing whatever they wanted.
I don't know who's on defense.
This defense of the Bills looked like,
I hate to say it,
shout out to Coach Prom, but I remember that defense last year.
I don't know if it was the defense or the offensive line.
It was, it was one part of their team that just was letting
niggas do whatever they want.
And that's what this looked like.
You're comparing them to the Colorado defense.
That's what you're doing.
Yeah, that's crazy.
Last year defense.
Last year defense.
Why would you go to the college?
Nick, so I'm making that sound bad.
They look I had nothing to do with that coach.
I don't know why he's comparing that.
I don't know.
That's how bad they look.
No, remember he said he was going to bring the dogs in.
So I'm saying last year, not this year.
That's could have been a lot of examples you used.
Went straight to Colorado, it's crazy.
Look man, I thought to be honest with you,
with this particular game, first of all,
when I see the Ravens, I just think of blackness, B.
I fuck with the Ravens.
When I see Ravens, I think of of blackness, B. I fuck with the Ravens.
I see Ravens, I think of Black Panthers
and niggas like that.
Niggas pushing the black envelope.
Like, I think of the black space.
Everything black, that's what the Ravens remind me of.
And they've been like that for years, you know?
Terrell Suggs, Ray Lewis, them niggas is black niggas.
Shannon Sharp, when he played that couple years from,
listen, I like the Ravens, and it's a black city.
We got a black, I'm not saying we,
they got a black quarterback,
and they got a great team, bro.
That's why I said I wasn't worried about them
out of the first two weeks when they said,
who you worried about?
Baltimore wasn't one of those teams I was worried about
when they started off 0-2.
Now when they beat the Cowboys and they were up
and they let the Cowboys score 19 points in the last quarter,
that was concerning.
So I said, fuck, what's gonna happen this week?
And the defense really stepped up.
Like you said, murder they held Josh Allen under 200 yards.
Derrick Henry ran for 199 yards overall, got over 200 yards.
Total total offense from Derrick Henry.
Zay Flowers didn't even really go off.
He'll do his numbers. Lamar Jackson.
You know, them niggas is good.
Them niggas are really, really good.
And I'm glad that they got on back on track
so we can see them do what the fuck they do
in a regular season.
For the Baltimore Ravens though,
as well as the Buffalo Bills,
what matters is the playoffs.
That's what really matters.
Don't get me wrong,
we gonna enjoy watching y'all niggas in a regular season,
but you know who you gotta go through,
both of y'all, pause, Patrick Mahomes.
Y'all laying there AFC, and that's just what it boils down to.
So we love to see a Josh Allen against Lamar Jackson,
which is always gonna be fun to watch.
But y'all know who y'all big homie is, nigga.
Until y'all do something about it,
y'all just who y'all big homie is, nigga. Until y'all do something about it, y'all just gonna be an MVP,
which Lamar Jackson is a two-time MVP.
Josh Allen, they consider you top three quarterback
in the league, which is all fine and dandy,
but it is not equal to Super Bowls.
It just doesn't.
Only person who's kinda dethroned that outside of Tom Brady
is Joe Burrow,
and his team isn't looking that good this year.
They finally got a win.
We'll see where it goes from here.
And Chase looked like he was happy
for the first time all season.
So we'll see if that brings some momentum to the Bengals.
But my nigga, it's all fine and dandy
till the middle of January and February.
Where will you two quarterbacks be and where will you two teams be?
Great game to watch though.
But you know what it is till further notice and I'm gonna let everybody know now.
If y'all keep letting the Kansas City teams beat y'all niggas where everybody's hurt,
it's just looking more crazy.
It's looking more crazy than what Andy Reid is doing
and what Patrick Mahomes is doing
and what Kelsey is even doing
because you know Kelsey's gonna get the ball.
Y'all don't do anything about it.
And I'm not saying he has the most yards every game,
but he's a contributor to the fact that every game,
everybody's hurt.
Y'all better take advantage now.
Because if they keep winning, everybody hurt.
When everybody gets back, it's gonna be even worse.
Really good point.
Okay, and then the Texans beat the Jaguars 24 to 20. where everybody hurt when everybody gets back is gonna be even worse. Really good point. Okay.
And then the Texans beat the Jaguars 24 to 20.
The Jags are 0 and 4 should somebody be worried about getting fired Mace?
And you know, it's really good to see him playing well and he threw for 345 yards
to, you know, two touchdowns.
And this is what we expect to see from him. Keep up the good work. I ain't watch that shit. for 345 yards to, you know, two touchdowns.
And this is what we expect to see from them. Keep up the good work.
I ain't watch that shit.
I'm not watching the Jaguars till they win again.
I'm not even gonna act like I watched it.
Texans should have won this shit.
When niggas who fucking with the Jaguars
just hope they make the spread.
The spread was fucking five, five and a half points.
They lost by four.
That's how you win when you play against Jacksonville.
That's when you play against Jacksonville.
Basically, you know they gonna lose
just to see if you're gonna beat the spread.
So if you took the spread and it was five and a half
and they lost by four, you up, you up.
I wish I would have watched a minute of this game.
I would have caught up on it if I heard they did good
and CJ Stroud didn't do good. I can't caught up on it if I heard they did good and CJ Stroud
didn't do good. I can't get that 60 minutes back in my life. I'm not putting up with that.
I don't live in Jacksonville. No disrespect. I know what y'all going through. I'm sorry.
I'm not going to go through it with y'all. Let me know when shit change.
Okay. So now let's discuss some storylines from NBA Media Day.
I'm going to start with the Warriors.
So Draymond Green responded to a reporter who says people are worried about him.
He said, why are they worried about me?
I'm a successful black man in America doing incredibly well.
What's the worry about?
There are way more people in this world to worry about than me.
And he said he's doing pretty well considering his upbringing.
So him and the reporter went back and forth a lot because the reporter kept trying to get
more, you know, information and words out of him. But Draymond Green was not having
it. So after seeing that interaction between him and the reporter, what was your reaction
to that?
Um, when it comes to Draymond Green, um, I'm really not concerned about him.
I think he, he has a good pause head on his shoulders that he's definitely
tough willed, tough mentality.
And I think when it comes to him also that he knows what he's doing.
I think when he got, he got a podcast, he got a, a very lucrative MBA career.
And I think when it comes down,
he's nothing to care about from the aspect of being concerned.
But I do think that he put himself in that position
when he starts saying things like,
he's gonna retire, this may be the end of it for him.
He was alluding to these things.
And I think he was doing it out of frustration
with the way the commissioner was treating him
and choosing to chastise him for his actions
of headlocking people, clothes lining people.
That is something to be concerned of.
But me personally, I'm not concerned with Draymond because I think he knows what he's
doing.
And I also think he knows who to do it to.
I don't think he's clothes lining everybody.
I don't think he would yoke everybody.
I don't think he would try anybody.
I don't think he's that crazy, you know?
So to me, I'm not concerned.
But shout out to Draymond.
I think niggas is just playing media games.
Like, basically, the niggas say,
we're concerned about you.
Draymond turned it into a life situation
when obviously the media nigga only meant it as basketball.
So, when he said, people are concerned about you,
Draymond hit him with the, my life is great. When I was 13 years old, The media nigger only meant it as basketball. So when he said, people are concerned about you,
Draymond Heddon went to, my life is great.
When I was 13 years old,
would you think I would be playing in this,
playing for the Golden State Warriors
as four time, five time, whatever,
I haven't made NBA champion.
I'm making money.
I'm a successful black man in America,
this, that and the third.
So who said they need to be worried about me?
My life is great.
And he spun it, which was cool.
But the nigga didn't mean all that.
The nigga asked the question, was basically saying,
are you gonna be available for the games, nigga?
That's all he really meant.
Draymond spun it into, nigga,
I'm from the hood, nigga. I made it, nigga.
I dig that. I'm not knocking that,
because it's always been great to have a successful story.
But that wasn't what a nigga meant,
is they worried about you off the court.
It's NBA media day, the first day of media,
and he's asking you, they're concerned
because last year was bad shit to be concerned about if you were gonna play.
We see Steph Curry crying when you got an objective.
Crying? This nigga was crying, Steph Curry.
We see you like Mase said,
put a nigga in a red-necked chokehold, nigga.
You know what I'm saying?
You turned around and slapped a nigga.
Face off. You missed a lot of games last year.
So niggas is basically asking you,
are we a reason to be concerned
that you will wild out this year?
I think that's what the reporter meant.
He didn't specify himself.
So you took the opportunity to be like,
nigga, I'm a wealthy black man in America,
and fuck is you worried about me for?
Which, that's some shit I woulda did too,
if they didn't specify they self.
So what the reporter shoulda did was say,
Dre Mon, listen, we know your life is great,
we know you from Saginaw, Michigan,
we know it's a tough hood,
we know that you grinded your way here,
we know that you know every player
picked before you in the draft, we get all that.
Are you gonna be available this year without slapping the shit out of niggas, without
choking niggas, without making stuff curry cry because niggas want you to be on the court.
That's what that nigger meant. But then that was the blur lines in that whole shit. Basically,
that's really the facts.
Okay. And then now let's discuss Paul George. So he seemed to like his transition to the Sixers. He said, this is the first time I've played with an
elite point guard and an elite big man all at once. How do you think he will
perform with the Sixers?
Um, I hope I hope really hope that Paul George has a successful time in Philadelphia because
when you start out with these kind of statements, I think you put more pressure on yourself.
This is something you could just take as wisdom.
If you say I've never played with a lead point guard and, and I've known then what was, um, Russell Westbrook.
Um, it's just a lot of things that I don't, I don't know how
to take that if you never played with a lead point guard, what is
James Harden, you know, and then you get to the point where you're
saying Tyrese Maxey and I know what he's saying.
I never played with a point guard and the big men
at the same time simultaneously,
but just thinking of that statement alone,
it could put a lot of pressure on you,
and we can come back to use that statement
at the end of the year if things doesn't go right.
Well, you were with an elite point guard,
and you were with an elite big man,
why didn't you get it done?
So I think it's better to hold cards like that
to your chest versus sharing them with the world
because it's only ammunition for them to use against you.
I'm not gonna use it against you,
but the powers that be will.
Be careful what you say, nigga.
I'm just telling you, I dig what you're saying.
So when niggas come back and say,
I said point guard and big man at once.
Listen, bro, I'm tired of niggas always trying
to make a reason why they ain't win no championship, man.
And we always be going to the creme de la creme.
Did Michael Jordan play with a motherfucking elite big man
or point guard ever?
Ever in life?
No, no, not an elite big man.
DJ Armstrong, Craig Hodges.
Steve Kerr.
Yeah, Bill Cartwright.
Yeah, Winnington.
Yeah, like, all right, man, whatever.
You got, you supposed to be elite.
I dig it that you wanna compliment your teammates
because you're new on the team and you're like,
well, this is something special, an elite point.
Ain't you the goat, nigga?
You the goat of the night.
What the fuck is you?
You the goat, ain't you play goat or not? What the fuck is you? You the goat?
You play off P and all this crazy shit?
Yo, where are you, Paul?
This is what I'm talking about.
This is what I'm talking about.
This is why you can't be the goat.
Mase can call you the goat or you.
I can't wait for this to start.
You're not the goat.
Now you kissing embied ass and motherfucking
Maurice Maxey ass pause,
and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way.
Stop, you played with great players, bro.
You just got off a team where everybody thought
that the LA, Southern LA man had the best basketball players
in the world.
You had Kawhi Leonard, you had motherfucking James Hart,
you had Russell Westbrook, it didn't work out.
And I know niggas was injured and so on and so forth,
and chemistry wasn't there stop bro stop
Three future all-the-famous not only that it was your team. It was your team in, Indiana
It was your team before you got hurt. I know you got hurt and shit ain't go your way
He's your team now only that Damien Lillard sent you home say bye-bye to you was playing defense
You was the one playing D on Damien Lillard. We were like this. They can say like this bye
Play off peace at your home.
That's what I'm saying.
You just becoming a little value.
And listen, I don't want to disrespect you
because mad, and I've been doing my due diligence.
Younger generation really, really look up to you.
Include Carmelo Sun and also NBA players.
They model their game behind you.
I don't know why, you're good.
But I'm just saying, you know, to me, it's always something.
That team was yours in Indiana.
You had a chance, and I don't get me wrong,
you're going against a Primetime LeBron.
During that stretch, they went, took the niggas to 10 NBA...
final straight.
Straight during that tenure when he was running the East Coast.
I dig it. But you can't call yourself the GOAT and you're praising other niggas, man.
I don't like it.
Michael Joy, and don't get me wrong,
I'm not sitting here,
I'm not sitting here, motherfucking-
Passion or anything.
I don't know, what I'm trying to say is
we always go to Michael Joy, you know what I'm saying?
And I hate it, cause we seen it. I'm sorry that I always go to Michael joy You know what I'm saying, and I hate it because we seen it
I'm sorry that I got that my eyes happen to see it, but I Kobe 11 without without
The son after Shackler now Palgas all he's really a power forward. He was good and dark fish is good
Elite they wasn't getting these contracts. They wasn't elite
They wasn't getting these car tracks. They wasn't elite.
Definitely wasn't.
They wasn't elite, nigga.
Stop this elite shit if you the GOAT.
Nigga, GOAT time, nigga.
It's GOAT time, nigga.
And let me tell you something,
the East ain't no cakewalk neither.
Cause if you think Tatum and them niggas
and Jalen Brown give a fuck that you're over there,
they don't.
They really don't.
If Jalen Brunson and the boys, they think they go,
they don't.
They really don't, my nigga. You better do something, boys, they think they don't, they really don't
my nigga. You better do something, I tell you that. You think you're spending money.
I feel bad for you owners who don't win. Y'all niggas is kicking out a lot of money. Niggas
had to give Stuff Curry 62 M's just to stay pushed. Stuff said that's one year I'll see
what I can do after that. Great.
I'm supporting it.
Okay.
We're going to go to break when we return. We will discuss Ben Simmons.
Don't go anywhere. She call me singin' about what's toxic
Four years of countin' Got you feelin' like adoption
Maybe I'm a home about one day She tired try to hear and I don't know
What's up and that meat won't fall, oh oh
Killing with this thing called trust But she ain't really thinking about it
She wanna be free Why am I here?
Cause she wanna be free Hell, I don't wanna see her walk away Welcome back.
Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day.
On Sunday, the Ravens will play the Bengals.
Underdog has Joe Burrow at 257 and a half passing yards.
Do you have him higher or lower, Mase?
Higher.
Yeah, man.
Like I said, Jamar Chase look real fucking happy
first time I seen that nigga smile all fucking year.
They, yo, yo, yo, you know what, man?
And my answer's higher.
But yo, yo niggas, the new age reporter,
like the niggas who be doing the interviews,
y'all niggas is wild.
Y'all take, niggas is just saving urban America
and I'm not supporting this, I'm just telling you.
He made, Jamal Chase made a touchdown
and he went and he caught it and like spun off some niggas.
The reporter asked the nigga, nigga said, And he went and he caught it and like spun off some niggas.
The reporter asked the nigga, nigga said, oh, you got that baby oil on, huh?
What?
He was like.
What?
He was like, yo.
He was like.
He was like, yo, yo, my nigga, word?
This what we doing?
Word?
Nigga said, nah, I didn't, man.
He said, you got that baby on you. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha You know, you can't see the niggas say it, but it was a regular press conference where all the niggas did. Nigga actually niggas.
You had that baby on, you know.
Yeah.
That was crazy.
But yeah, Joe Burr, I'm going high.
And to that point, media has been going crazy.
Like a lot of the questions, like somebody asked Dame
at the booth, like how he was with L'Oreal,
and the reporter literally started singing,
it's 7 p.m. Friday.
Dame was like, why are you asking me? Like, at the booth is crazy.
So, I don't know.
And now everybody needs a little mic, just saying.
Y'all gotta go back to how it's doing.
Niggas reaching, yo.
I got sucked over there.
I don't even really think...
They might wanna go viral.
I don't even think this be niggas personalities,
my opinion.
I think niggas is like,
me jump out the window so I can go viral,
or get some attention.
I don't really be thinking niggas is like that.
Yeah, and we just happen to do it naturally,
pause because I mean, for so long,
I know I wouldn't say anything on the media.
So just, I guess that's a part of it.
And Cam always been outspoken.
Cam always been a viral moment.
Yeah, but I don't really do a lot of interviews.
I don't be doing interviews.
How many times you gonna tell the same story?
Yeah.
Because then you just start lying.
Like...
A lot of people be doing a lot of lying.
Yeah, like when I be seeing niggas on Vlad
like every 25 minutes, which I would never go on,
but it'd be like, and no disrespect to nobody
goes on Vlad, I see a bunch of my niggas up there,
but it'd be like, how many times can you tell the same story
of how you grew up and went to jail and this, that, and that,
there, but I ain't knocking nobody, but I'm just not.
All right.
I remember one time on Vlad, a dude was saying
he got his name from one guy guy and then in the next moment,
he was lying about the same name.
I was like, yo, you just said you got the name
from this person, now you got it from me.
Yeah, nigga need to rewind that.
Like, yo, did you just say that thing?
This don't, cause when you got a lie,
you gotta remember to lie.
You ain't to remember the truth
You know, that's what really happened. Yeah. Yeah, okay, and then Jamar chase is at 76 and a half receiving yards
Do you have him higher or lower? Hi
Hi, okay, and then Lamar Jackson's at 211 and a half passing yards. You have a higher lower mace
I'm gonna go lower
What is it?
211 and a half passing yards.
Lamar Jackson.
I'm gonna go lower as well.
Okay.
Remember you always get a free pick if you're not already on underdog so make sure to sign
up now so you can make your picks too.
Yeah real quick.
Make sure y'all use code cam, mace, that and not only that we want to say thank you to our subscribers
Make sure y'all subscribe if you haven't we over 700,000 subscribers. We appreciate y'all motherfuckers
Thank y'all so much for supporting the show man
For sure for sure. Okay when asked about being 14th in triple doubles in NBA history
Then Simmons said I think people forget me as a player when I am healthy
I can play basketball I'm pretty good so after hearing that quote from him how do you feel about
him saying that and what are your expectations for him this season Mates you said he's 14th
in triple doubles in NBA history he's tied 14 that's a lot that's that lot. That's pretty high. Are they talking about players active or all time?
Maybe all time.
I gotta read that stat for myself. I can't take that from me right now.
I'll show you. Look, 14.
With how many?
33. Then in front of him, fat lever, then Yannis,
Thibonis, Larry Bird, James Harden.
He's 14 of all time.
All time.
So now we're putting them in a category
of Larry Bird and James Harden.
And this got to stop.
This is definitely a come on my nigga moment.
No matter if you were 12, I don't care.
Right now you're Balenciaga Ben,
you're BCBG Ben,
anything but basketball Ben right now.
We're gonna keep it so firm,
pause with you until you actually play.
We haven't seen you since the green Bottega,
the Bottega green you had on in Brooklyn.
Right now you're Bottega Ben.
You gotta put some buckets up, man.
Are you healthy now?
That's what we would wanna know
because you let a lot of people in New York down.
You gotta get back to playing basketball
and you gotta get back to playing at a high level.
I remember you was coming out of LSU.
I thought you was gonna, I actually thought you was gonna
be up there with LeBron.
So when I'm saying this, I'm saying this
from a very disappointed place.
You let me down, my nigga.
You just let, I don't know what else to say.
You gotta play basketball. You gotta play basketball,
you gotta play basketball right now.
I don't wanna hear no type of injuries
that can be scrutinized as if you're playing around
or milking the system pause.
You've gotten enough bread out of everybody.
It's time for you to play.
I don't care about what Stat just read.
She read that.
I'm not reading that.
What you got to say, killer?
I'm not reading.
Ortega Ben, BCBG Ben and Balenciaga Ben.
Um, this sad man is sad because he has so much potential.
And I know we clam Ben Simmons around up here a lot
Which I'm probably going to do in a minute not on purpose, but it just turns out that way
but yeah coming out of LSU you about to be one of them niggas and
People forget first of all, it's hard to get a triple double. I had an argument with sin one of these days because
you know, Russell Westbrook was getting so many triple doubles
that we kinda just took triple doubles for,
took Van, um.
For granted.
For granted, thank you, Mace, I appreciate that.
Took it for granted because it was just happening.
To where triple doubles aren't really easy to get.
Carmelo Anthony has two triple doubles his whole career.
Like, his whole career.
And because people like Luca and...
and the Joker and of course Russell Westbrook,
who averaged the triple double,
I think people kind of be like, okay, whatever.
So it's not easy to get.
So yeah, Ben, we thought great shit was gonna happen.
Yeah, he's a three time All-Star, Ben Simmons.
And my personal opinion, I can't prove this
and I'm not ever gonna do that to nobody.
But you played around with the injury shit.
I'm not gonna say what you said or didn't say.
And then it came back to haunt you later,
because you wanted to get out of Philly.
That's my opinion.
And when you got out of Philly,
everything been downhill since then,
because Philly fans was on your ass.
You didn't perform, you didn't want to shoot in the playoffs,
you looked scared as a motherfucker a couple games,
and to the point where you didn't wanna shoot a layup.
And it been downhill ever since.
And now we hear about, you know, not gonna say
and say he wasn't mentally ill or whatever he was
going through, that's first and foremost.
So if you worry that, I hope that you're better.
Secondly, these little pinched nerves,
and your fingernail hurt, and all type of other
little injuries, come on, my nigga.
It got to the point where I remember watching a special on Ben Simmons coming out of LSU
and you were so excited to sign with Clutch, to sign with Rich Paul and sign with LeBron.
And they didn't tell me this, nobody, I have no inside information on this whatsoever,
but it had to get to the point where they was like,
yo, get the fuck off our roster.
We don't need you, nigga.
Get the, you don't wanna play basketball.
Agency dropping?
They dropped the nigga murder.
That's crazy.
Yeah.
I ain't never heard of agency dropping.
They dropped the nigga murder.
It was like Def Jam dropping.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, dropped the nigga.
And I've listened, and I know I was like Def Jam dropping in there. Yeah, yeah, dropped the nigga.
And I've listened, and I know I'm friends with a lot of niggas.
They told me nothing.
But this is my assessment.
Get the fuck out of here, nigga.
You wasting our time. We here to eat.
And you don't want to play basketball.
Niggas dropped you off the label.
Murda said they dropped you off the label, my nigga.
So it's sad, man. And listen, you've become very fashionable,
like May said.
Bottega.
Yeah, but what's that you said, May?
Make the first thing the first thing.
Yeah, yeah.
That's it.
Niggas wanna be hot at the third time, my nigga.
We know you because of bass.
Yeah, nigga, make the first thing the first thing,
my nigga.
I think you dug yourself so far in a hole
that nobody will ever give you a good contract.
And you have to play good for another three years straight
before you get a real, real good contract.
You robbed the system.
You took that money from Philly.
You still getting paid a bunch of money in Brooklyn,
and you ain't play no games,
and now your contract's probably expired
so you gonna try and ball out.
And niggas are like, that was cool.
You gonna have to take the Brooklyn Nets to the Baja, nigga.
At least you gonna have to take them niggas
to the East New Carpets semi-finals
to get another deal.
Dolo, nigga.
After that, I can only give you a veteran minimum
if you wanna play in the NBA,
pass it after this year or whenever your contract's up.
It's so bad murder that the Australian national team
did not want him on the team for the Olympics.
Yeah, I was wondering why he wasn't playing for Australia.
He told them we good.
They said we good, my nigga. We all right. We he wasn't playing for Australia. He told them we good. They said, we good, my nigga.
We all right.
We'll figure it out.
Yo, Ben, you got a long, long road to climb.
If you really was injured all this time, I apologize.
You just came to the game with too much colors on,
so niggas can't pay attention to that.
Yeah, that's what it was.
You came to the game too, like, too drippy, balls would be hurt.
Yeah, so.
It looked like you was going out afterwards.
It looked like you had a...
It's a lot of niggas that's been hurt.
Look, think about this, Mace.
Lonzo Ball been hurt probably two years going on.
Have you seen him on the sideline with lime green on?
He might've been, you know, I'm not saying he wasn't,
but at the end of the day,
some niggas still wanna be seen.
Yeah, and, Stat, what would you say about this?
Cause you always talk about beating the system.
So how do you feel about Ben
and people saying that he beat the system? Yeah, but I mean, he is beating the system.
Do I agree with it in this case?
No, because I think all of us want to see him play because you're letting
potential be wasted and it's like your job is to be a basketball player.
So we're expecting you to play and again, back to his injuries.
We're hoping that you feel well, but.
The clock is ticking.
A lot of time has passed.
We're not seeing anything. Like it's
always a storyline the next year, like, oh, Benson is back this year and he's back this year. Like
we can't keep doing that. And Ben, you got to understand we're saying this. I mean, I'm saying
this because love you as a basketball player. You really have the potential to be like a magic
Johnson or something like that. LeBron, you know, and to see you not bald.
I'm really speaking from disappointment more than anything.
So when you hear this, don't let this play in your psyche.
Take this as we really wanna see you be great
and we really wanna see you bounce back from this
and have a great career with what's left.
And I'm gonna disagree with Macy.
You had the potential to be all that.
Now you could just be a good player moving forward.
You could have been one of them niggas.
You wasted the time.
Now let's just see what you can get.
Look, let's keep it a hundred.
He's only 28 years old.
He's only 28.
And brawn and magic in them niggas,
and you right, Murda, he definitely had that potential.
Little bit too late of a start, niggas is out there.
You got Ant-Man, you got John Moran coming back,
you got the Joker sliding their paws.
It's been a lot of niggas that's come around
since you were supposed to be that nigga.
Your best bet is to try and just sneak in there
and be a good player for the remainder of your career.
Cause niggas ain't letting you have that nigga spot back.
Like as far as you about to be that nigga,
that ain't happening nigga.
You missed that opportunity.
Niggas is hungry for that.
You're never gonna be that nigga.
And so do you think they put him back at the point
or is he now a power forward? Cause that's a part of being that nigga. So do you think they put them back at the point or is he now a power forward?
Cause that's a part of being that nigga.
He won't be that nigga from a power forward standpoint.
Think about it as this is that he never worked on his jump shot so they can lay
if he's going to be a point guard, they'll just lay off of him.
Pause.
If I'm giving you the three, if I'm guarding Ben Simmons
and I'm the other point guard or the best defender
or whoever I need to guard, I'm backing up off you.
When you bring the ball up the court,
if you're the point guard, I'm waiting at the foul line
like my foul line, I'm back there.
Shoot, shoot, go ahead, nigga.
Like Kaelin Clark did with that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, shoot, nigga.
Now if you put him in a power forward position,
he could be a problem.
He's a legit 6'10".
He could be a problem, but...
Is he too pretty for that?
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Yeah, Dre, Dre Marne.
He gotta be at the point to be.
Dre Marne ain't having all that down there,
all that light skin shit down there at the power floor.
Before we know it, I'm gonna be in the chicken wing.
Draymond out of that nigga in the camel clutch
before it's over, why nigga?
It's a tricky situation.
I don't know if he worked on his jump shot,
but it's been a problem for several, several years,
actually since he's been in the NBA.
So I don't know.
Point being is also is that,
who the fuck do the Brooklyn Nets got?
You need to just get a set shot.
He's tall enough to have a set shot.
The point being is this is the time Brooklyn
got rid of everybody since you was there.
Go crazy, nigga.
Yeah.
That team go-
Every 30, 40.
Yeah, every year.
It's go crazy.
Get in your James Harden bag.
This all you got.
Take 100 dribbles, nigga.
Do whatever you gotta do.
If not, I'm being honest with you.
I'm gonna start writing a Lifetime movie
about get out for you, nigga.
Spend with them Kardashians,
sipping down here, you been fly to fly for your own good,
and you look like you in a maze, nigga.
I'll start writing a movie about you, nigga, and change the names, nigga.
Get it together.
Change the names?
Okay, well...
Tim Simmons.
Tim Simmons.
Well, looking forward to see what he's got going on this season, and we have expectations.
They're not high yet
but hopefully you can change that. Okay so since Donovan Mitchell signed his
three-year 150.3 million dollar contract extension with the Cavs at
media day he said I can come in here now and breathe. The biggest thing is now
that I've signed the contract and we're here and now there's an expectation it's
not like we just signed and that's the end goal. We're happy.
So how do you expect things to go for Donovan Mitchell this season?
Um, I think, I think when it comes to Donovan Mitchell, he's going to have his numbers, but I
don't, I don't see the Cavs being any different than last year. I think the East has gotten
stronger with Paul George coming to the East. I think the East has gotten stronger with Paul George coming to the East. I think the East has gotten stronger with Kat coming to the Knicks and
Mikel switching over to the Knicks.
So I really think that though they gave them the money, they will be a step
back from where they were last year.
I don't see much happening for them
that didn't happen last year.
So only thing that happened is that his future is secure
with the Cavaliers, but the Cavaliers are like a pick away,
a player away from being really where they need to be.
They have outstanding back court play.
They have some decent, some real decent players
in the front court, but they're still missing something.
I'm not sure what it is yet,
but they're missing something.
I think you missed the key shit, Murda.
My personal opinion.
He ain't say he's gonna win,
and that nigga said I could breathe.
All right, friend.
150, 150 mil, I could breathe now.
What kind of air is that?
Yeah, niggas were smothering.
There's too many niggas in here.
I can't breathe.
And the reason why I say that's a key statement.
No, that was very key. No, listen, the reason why I say it's a key statement. No, that was very key.
No, listen, the reason why I say it's a key statement,
we have to think about this.
Donovan Mitchell was taking fucking games off
in games five and six and seven in the playoffs last year.
So why did he need to breathe?
He was already taking breathers.
Because he had, to me, I'm not gonna say who told me this,
but I got some information.
He wasn't fucking with JB Bickerstad.
See they got the coach fire.
Coach fire, 150 million.
Woosa.
Now let me do what I, yeah.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Yeah, now I can do what I got to do.
That's why I took the statement.
I didn't think he said that we gonna win the chip.
I agree, everything you just said.
You know, it seems to be me personally, real quick,
before I get back to Donovan Mitchell,
you got Boston, you got the Knicks, you have Philadelphia.
Look, we're not even talking about Milwaukee.
Milwaukee, right?
They just playing with Milwaukee, yo're not even talking about Milwaukee. Milwaukee, right? Yeah, he's just playing with Milwaukee.
He's just in Milwaukee, away.
But he never said, I think he's going,
now I can breathe, coach is outta here,
cause you think I was,
but the nigga, we was talking about the games last year,
I don't know if you remember.
Yeah.
When he wasn't playing games six or seven or five,
whatever game it was, he was jumping off the bench,
clapping, walking, when niggas jump the bench, we this nigga could walk yeah what the fuck is he doing not playing
he didn't like JB Bickerstaff he was ready for a new contract JB's going new contracts in
USA let's get busy my my yeah I. I think he'll put up some phenomenal numbers.
Where will the key Cleveland Cavaliers go?
I'm not sure about that.
But we do know he can breathe.
And he can come play the game and get busy.
And Donovan Mitchell is always fun to watch
when he's getting busy.
So pause.
So we'll see what happens, man.
OK, now we're going to talk about WNBA real quick.
So a video went viral of Asia Wilson
talking to Kelsey Plum about Paige Becker's. She told Kelsey, us as black woman Paige reminds me a
lot of you. Like you say it's not really about me. She knows and she knows how her privilege has
got her to that point. And also like she's good at basketball she understands her privilege. It's
what pushes her over the top in a sense and it reminds me a lot of
You so a lot of people are feeling different ways about that comment that resurfaced on video
How do you interpret what Asia Wilson had to say you got to read that again? You read it too fast
She's told Kelsey Plum us as black women page reminds me a lot of you. Like you say, it's not really about me.
She knows, and she knows how her privilege
has gotten her to that point.
And also, she's good at basketball,
but she understands her privilege.
It's what pushes her over the top in a sense,
and it reminds me a lot of you.
And she said that she was telling Kelsey Plum
that as a compliment.
I don't know if that's a compliment.
Because Paige is white, right?
Yeah.
And this is, we're talking about Paige from UConn, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't get that.
That's like pissing on somebody and tell them it's raining.
That's, I don't know how you see that as a compliment.
She understands her privilege.
What is Paige privilege?
Yeah.
She's basically trying to say that she's white.
She understands her privilege.
Yeah.
So how is it a compliment to the lady she's telling it to?
That's like a hypothetical question.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm just thinking out loud in front of the whole world.
That's not a compliment, Asia.
I don't...
Man, us black women.
Paige reminds me a lot of you.
Wilson adds to Plum.
She knows her privilege has gotten her to that point.
White has gotten Paige to that point?
I dig that.
Listen, let me give you an example.
Now I got a little more context to it.
Give you a couple real quick examples, right?
So Chris Rock had made a joke about years ago.
He was like he had to host the Grammys,
or host the Oscars, and go on tour,
and do 200 movies to live in Alpard, New Jersey.
And for people that don't know about Alpard, New Jersey,
he's probably the richest part of New Jersey,
if I'm not mistaken.
And he's like, he lives right next door to a dentist.
He's like, he's not no super duper dentist.
He doesn't do aliens teeth, he's just a regular old dentist.
Now, if a black nigga wanted to live in Alpine,
who was a dentist, he said he probably would've had
to invent teeth to live in that neighborhood.
So niggas, but so what I'm trying to say is that, but no, that's
what I'm trying to say. He like, you got the privilege of just
being a regular old dentist. We got to make miracles happen to
live in this neighborhood. So I think Asia's basically saying that
Paige is kinda like you, y'all niggas is aight.
Y'all like, y'all like.
But the white privilege has elevated you in the sport.
That's exactly what I'm trying to say.
That's exactly what I took, sir.
I don't think that was a compliment at all.
Because when you're saying it's like
what pushes her to the top in a when you saying it's like what pushes her
to the top in a sense,
and it's what pushes you to the top.
So are you basically saying if Paige was black,
she wouldn't be a good player?
That's the question.
I think that she probably meant
that they gonna pick a half full of y'all
and you made it this time.
So are she...
Is this reverse racism?
You're on the team because you're white?
And we're just asking questions.
Don't get mad at me, I'm just asking questions.
My thing is this murder,
who said it was meant to be a compliment?
She might have told her how she was feeling.
Well, she did say she meant it as a compliment.
She meant it as a compliment. That's the part.
That's how you clean it up.
I wanted to tell you this shit a long time ago.
But I'ma just act like it's a compliment.
That's how it is, man.
Kelsey Plum, she farted on you.
Yeah.
She farted on you.
You think you're the shit?
You're not even a fart.
She definitely farted on you.
You said me too, literally.
I'll just say, because there's not much clarification,
because the clip was just her talking to Kelsey,
I don't think Asia meant it that way.
And at the end of the day, we do.
No, it was definitely a wet fart. No, I don't think Asia meant it that way. And at the end of the day, we do. No, it was definitely a wet fart.
No, I don't think so because it's like Kelsey Plumb
has a lot of respect and so does Paige.
Like Paige speaks out about a lot of things
that frustrate her and she'll like advocate
for a lot of things.
So it's like, I mean, shoot, like when you're talking
about popularity in women's basketball, she is it.
So I don't think she meant that as a diss, especially when you see
how close of a relationship the ACEs have.
But I do see why that can be misinterpreted the wrong way because
of what was said in the context of how she said it.
So, I don't know, maybe she'll come out with the same thing.
I love the way this generation disrespect niggas and always try to smooth it over.
I don't think, I don't, okay. Cause you're like this generation, you're saying I'm trying to smooth it over. I don't think, I don't, okay.
Because you're like this generation,
you're saying I'm trying to smooth over what she's saying
or you're feeling like she tried to smooth over
what she said.
Both of you.
Okay.
Both of you.
That's like us saying, yo Nick,
you really doing your thing in the sound booth.
You took your white skills and just,
you did your thing, man.
I'm not gonna lie, man.
You took advantage of all the technology
that you knew being white.
You kinda remind me of Skip.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then say, it's a compliment.
It's not a compliment.
It's definitely.
You gotta remind me of Skip Bill. It's the a compliment. It's definitely. You gotta remind me of Skip Bale.
It's the way you doing what you doing.
You took your talents as far as you can take them.
Yo, put the camera on Nick.
You see Nick's face right there.
Nick.
That's why I said it's a backhanded compliment.
Nick didn't like that.
Yeah, no camera pan at all.
That's what I'm trying to say.
Nick, that was not a compliment, right?
No, it wasn't a compliment.
Yeah, man.
Also, like, Niggas qualified.
Like, I still feel like there's different, like,
I don't know.
So what you saying, Niggas qualified, so what? Kelsey ain't qualified? No, she is, and there's different, like, I don't know. So what you're saying, Nick is qualified, so what?
Kelsey ain't qualified?
No, she is, and that's why I said, but obviously,
she did say that she is good at basketball,
so I was like, I don't think she meant that as a diss.
I have to do more due diligence.
But I just think it's the fact that Paige has been
a lot more outspoken when people in similar positions,
when they know, you know, fire's going around,
they don't speak up when they should.
Well, I'm trying to say this, and I'll leave it this,
for you and Mace to finish up.
Because I like these combos, because no answer is right.
You know, it's just an opinion.
But that's like when somebody white come up to you
and be like, yo, I got a lot of black friends.
Why would you say that?
Yeah, I got plenty of black friends.
Actually, not the flight coming back this morning,
flight leaving.
And I had a nice bag and all this, I guess.
This white guy comes up to me, he's like,
yo man, this bag is nice, where you from?
He said, I said, I'm from New York.
He said, oh yeah, I'm from New York.
He said, we're apart.
I said, Harlem. He said, mm mm mm, that soul food up there.
He said.
He said.
He said.
He said.
Exactly, exactly.
Exactly the point.
I said, where you from?
He said, I'm from Lord, man.
He said, but I go up there for that soul food.
I said, all right, man.
That's nice, man.
Like, what am I supposed to say?
Yeah, what am I?
Am I the advocate for it that way?
Yeah, I'm just saying, like sometimes niggas don't know
that they being rude.
Yeah.
They don't really mean to be rude.
Or being racist.
Yeah, or being, they don't mean it in a bad way.
I just think that sometime it comes out like that
and you be like, okay. Like when the nigga said that and you be like, okay, like when the niggas said that,
I'm like, okay, cool, I know you didn't mean no harm,
but you don't even realize what you saying.
You know what I'm saying?
My God.
It's called self-awareness.
Yeah.
A lot of people don't have that though.
Yeah.
Especially as they become famous,
they definitely don't have.
Yeah. It's a scene, that's why I used to love them TV show the office is a scene in the office
Last thing I'll say is this scene in the office. This nigga don't even know you rave races Steve Corral
It's parking attendance
who parked the cars in the parking lot where they work at and
in the parking lot where they work at. And he's parking the car, he said,
I challenge you guys to a basketball game at lunchtime
if y'all guys wanna play me and basketball
on my team upstairs.
And the niggas, the black niggas parking the car like,
I bet, no problem.
He gets upstairs and tells niggas,
we got a basketball game at lunch today.
William, you're definitely playing points
to the black niggas.
Spanish niggas says, want to play. He said,
we're not playing baseball or boxing. I'll let you know if we
got if it turns into baseball or boxing. Like niggas don't, I'm
just using that because niggas don't even be aware sometimes.
I even know it's a television show but it be like that. It be
like that in real life. Okay. Well, that is all the time
that we have for today. Thanks for watching and as always, it is what it is. Thanks for watching!
