Stat Baby, along with your hosts, Mace and Cam. Killer, what's good, man? You back, man. Man, I miss one day,
Starting point is 00:01:08 Murda. It's not like I've been going for two years. I miss a fun day, man. I know when I'm going, it seems like an eternity. I miss you too, man. Yeah, I'm back. Good to see you, man. I'll be back in the studio tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:01:23 All right. You gonna be in the studio tomorrow. All right. This, I'm gonna be in the studio. Yeah, yeah, I'm on my vegan diet right now, pause. All right bro, when did you start, 20 minutes ago? Killa, I started yesterday man. My skin is glowing, right stat? My skin, it looks like it's glowing. I didn't know it works like that.
Starting point is 00:01:51 I dropped, oh, yo, for real, Killer, I think I dropped like five pounds, pause. In one day? In two days. You taking Enzepic, whatever it's called? You on that? No, I'm too scared to take that. Yeah, you don't know the long-term effect on Inzepic. You don't know what's going to happen to you.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Nigga's face be drooping and all that. I ain't doing all that. Yeah, and then you don't really know what kind of side effects you may have in like five, six, seven years after taking that shit. We don't know. This is the first batch. you may have in like five, six, seven years after taking that shit. We don't know. This is the first batch. That's what I tell niggas.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Like, them females who body don't look right because they got their body done, they was the first batch. They ain't wait to see how to get it right. You don't ever want to be the first batch. They make sure their hips was the right height. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Well, listen, man.
Starting point is 00:02:45 This is what I will say. You have a lot of discipline when it comes to a lot of things, a whole lot of things. You are very – I'll probably say maybe – I can't even think of nobody else at the time. Right now, I'm pretty sure I'm missing out on a couple people just training the foot. But I'm talking about as far as discipline is concerned yeah one of the most disciplined people I've ever
Starting point is 00:03:09 met in my life except for when it comes to eating you have no discipline everything else you have mad discipline except for when it comes to eating you just have no discipline everything else everything else you top of the food chain bro no pun else, you top of the food chain, bro. No pun intended. You are top of the food chain when it comes to discipline. I'm glad you said that. I'm glad you said that. I'm glad you said that.
Starting point is 00:03:33 Pause. I needed that. Good. Because your discipline is good. Because your discipline is at an all-time high, except for when it comes to eating. Now I'm going back to 97. You looking like 97. I'm going back to 97. You looking like 97.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Now I'm going back to 97. Yo, Stat. Okay. Stat, let me tell you something. We on the air. The whole world can see it. First of all, Stat, let me tell you something. He moved somewhere because where he lives,
Starting point is 00:03:59 the restaurants are less than 10 minutes away from where he's at. He could get to any restaurant in less than 10 minutes away from where he's at. He could get to any restaurant in less than 10 minutes. He moved there purposely because all the delicious food is not too, it's not far from where he's at. Everything is delicious. It's right there. So if you could lose this weight and walk past all the restaurants or drive past the restaurants that you got to see every day,
Starting point is 00:04:25 I'll be right proud of you, but I'll be waiting on 97 Murder. I'm here waiting on it. Hey, 97 Murder. I'm going tank top shorty and all that. White beater and all that. With the death row chain with dipset over it. Let's do it. Yo, I'm waiting on you. I'll be here. I'll be here. I ain't going
Starting point is 00:04:42 nowhere. I'll be here waiting on you, man. Yes, Stan. Let's go, Stan. Sounds'll be here waiting on you man let's go step sounds like a challenge okay so let's get into it nba finals is tomorrow thursday mavs versus the celtics going into the nba finals kind of want you kind of want to get you guys's analysis who do you believe has the stronger team the Mavs or the Celtics I think when it comes to who has the strongest team I think you have to start considering people who are playing and also people who are coaching because that's a part of the team also. When I look at teams, and we're talking about people playing on the court, that's not all that goes into winning
Starting point is 00:05:31 the championship. So when I think that Kyrie is a proven NBA champion that showed up in the most critical time of NBA championship. And you take into consideration that Jason Kidd is also a guy who won a championship, both at the point guard position. This brings a lot of validity and a lot of history and what it takes to win one. Just that knowledge of being there before so with that being said i'm actually going with the mavericks even though i believe on paper that boston is a better team i'm going with the mavericks i couldn't have said it better myself. That's actually a great take. Something about Boston the last couple years,
Starting point is 00:06:31 they always had a great team. They're in the championship the year before last. They're in the conference finals again last year. To this year, they're the Eastern Conference champion. This is the year that they should win. Not only Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown are proven all-stars, if not superstars. You got Derek White playing tremendous.
Starting point is 00:06:57 You got Al Hoffer playing tremendous. And the key factor as well is, of course, Zingas coming off the bench, which will bring some more validity to Boston's bench. So on paper, like Major said, you would think it would be Boston. But Jason Kidd, great coaching experience. I mean, great coaching job, not necessarily win the championship as a coach but he does know what it takes to win a championship because he's won one as a player tyree irving like you said he's a champion as well luca dantas you know as much as as much as um you know we give lucas credit his flowers shit he does. I don't think that people pay attention to his basketball knowledge,
Starting point is 00:07:47 who his father is, and how long he's been a professional. It's illegal to be a professional in the United States at 13 years old. Like, you can't do it. So for him, you know, that's being, I think, swept under the rug that he was a professional since 13 years old. And I remember at the beginning of the year when we were picking our top players and I'm not sure if I put Luke at the bottom of the list or if I even put them on my list at all is because I said,
Starting point is 00:08:15 I don't think he makes the players around him better. That was my take. And that was because to me, he didn't trust anybody else on his team because nigga i've been doing this for this long he may be in practice killing niggas who've been in the league for 10 11 12 years but they've been a professional probably just as long as you have and this year it seems like he started to trust his teammates more it goes to show uh in the playoffs so far, he has six triple-doubles. You don't get
Starting point is 00:08:48 triple-doubles by not trusting your teammates. Who has a better team? I think Mace answered it perfectly. If you're going on paper, you're going to go with the Boston Celtics. If you're talking about coaching experience and basketball
Starting point is 00:09:04 IQ, you got to give it to the Dallas Mavericks. And I think that's what's going to make this series an exceptional series to watch. Okay. And then I know there's different variables to better team versus stronger team, but who do you guys think has the most to lose? Do you think it's the Mavs? Do you think it's the Celtics? Or do you think it's a specific person in this series? Well, before we even go further in that, I think this also can be credited to both Luca and Kyrie because a lot of the changes that they were making, Kyrie wasn't in the public's eye for. So I want to credit them for going off camera and going off the grid and really working
Starting point is 00:09:54 to be able to be a team that could play together. Like Killer said, he started trusting because they were spending time outside of basketball that helped them to build that camaraderie. But back to your next question. What was that? Yeah, so basically, who do you think has the most to lose? Do you think it's the Mavs? Do you think it's the Celtics? Or do you think it's a specific person on either team?
Starting point is 00:10:20 Everybody knows that Boston has the most to lose. They're the team that's the best on paper. Al Horford has been trying to get a ring for I don't know how long. I mean, whether it was this, the Hawks, the Sixers. Now he's back with Boston. I mean, he's been he's been trying to get a ring for a long time. So, you know, and I know he won down there in Florida. Shout out to, you know, being a Gator and all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:10:50 You rooting or not? Not the Gators. Okay. Well, keep going. All right. I know you fake Miami. Fake? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:03 You from Jacksonville, but that's another story. They've been working the longest to try to get a championship. And even when you add Porzingis back, they have no reason to not win. So them coming pause up short will be catastrophic for that whole entire Boston City. Yeah, the most to lose is Boston. Kyrie and Luka have not even been playing together for a whole two years yet.
Starting point is 00:11:35 And for them to be at the championship right now is really impressive because let's think about this. We were talking about the Golden State Warriors, talking about potentially the Lakers. Everybody was definitely going with the Denver Nuggets. After the Denver Nuggets lost, everybody's like, well, it's Minnesota's turn this year. Sacramento looked good last year at the end of the season, last season.
Starting point is 00:11:58 When Zion was playing, we was talking about the New Orleans Pelicans. We would mention the Mavericks, but definitely not talking about them winning a championship this year. So I think that they're playing with house money, not saying that they're not there to win a championship. They might've thought about this this year and said, good, don't think about us winning a championship. Don't pay us no mind because it gave us a time.
Starting point is 00:12:22 We've even talking about the Clippers, the people that they eliminated in the first round we was like oh Clippers the best players might be from Southern California etc etc etc and of course killer don't forget yes Oklahoma City so we just named at least seven or eight teams that we may have put before Dallas and here we are with them in the championship when it comes to Boston they've been the best team by far for a long time in the NBA. I'm talking about this season. On the East Coast, nobody was in their rear view.
Starting point is 00:12:54 They was up to 16 games minimum before somebody was even close to catching them. I think they were seven for eight overall, even with the West Coast team, meaning overall with somebody being behind them pause. So, yes, Boston, not just that. You know, it's times where we say, OK, maybe we need to break up the Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown dynamic duo tandem or whatever you may be, because it's not working. Or you may say, OK, what's the next piece do we need? The next piece do we need to get? Not only that, listen, this is what the fact is supposed to have.
Starting point is 00:13:36 It's looking like, and not saying he hasn't, it's looking like Jalen Brown is coming into his own. Not saying he hasn't because you don't get $325 million or however much it is not coming into his own. Not saying he hasn't because you don't get $325 million or however much it is not coming into your own. But they're figuring out a system to where Mace may be right. Maybe he is Batman and maybe Tatum is Robin. Whatever it is, it seems to be working. But what you also added to this team,
Starting point is 00:13:58 which we didn't mention last segment when we were talking about it, is the championship experience of Drew Holiday. And Drew Holiday also knows what it takes to win a championship. And he's also a defensive prowess. So I'm not saying it's anybody in the world could, I could guard Kyrie, but if you had to pick somebody,
Starting point is 00:14:21 Drew Holiday might be one of the best candidates that you could pick to try and contain Kyrie the best that you can contain him. You got the new addition of Drew Holiday. You got Porzingis, who's really a starter, who's probably going to come off the bench because you're going to work him back into game time.
Starting point is 00:14:42 Getting his breath together, so on and so forth, because he hasn't played the whole playoffs just about. But that's what a luxury is. What kind of luxury is that? To have a seven-foot-three. Power four. Yeah, I was about to say he could play the three, four, or five. I didn't even want to just put him as a power four, Murdoch,
Starting point is 00:15:02 because if need be, he could step out and shoot the three, and he could play there low. So, yeah, the moral of the story, the most to lose is Boston, definitely, because everything is laid out on the table for them. And if they don't get it done this year, who knows? I'm not saying it's going to – they're not getting – Jalen Brown is under contract. They're not going to get rid of Jason Tatum.
Starting point is 00:15:27 We don't know what's going to happen next, but it seems like they're getting chance after chance after chance. And if they don't come through this year, I just don't know what to say. That'll be another conversation for a different day when the series is over, if they're not victorious. But to answer your question straight out flat, stat part of me is Bostonoston has the most to lose yeah and boston i was thinking about that trade early in the year many people did not understand that trade for um drew holiday because everybody was like well
Starting point is 00:15:59 they already had the um the the young boy that could shoot it for us. And then they had Derek White. And then, you know, when that trade took place, it's like, they got Drew Holiday to guard Stephen Curry or to guard Murray. But it ended up being Kyrie. So I really got to pay attention to that in that matchup because I think whatever goes in that matchup determines this whole series. If Drew Holiday can stop Kyrie, they're going to win. And if Kyrie go crazy on Drew, Dallas is definitely going to win. So that's the matchup to watch. Dallas is definitely going to win.
Starting point is 00:16:44 So that's the matchup to watch. And then also to Cam's point, you kind of started talking about it. And I know we'll know more as we see the series progress. But the main person I do kind of want to highlight is Jason Tatum. Because like Cam said, this kind of is their second chance, that second opportunity. Specifically, if Jason Tatum misses this opportunity, what do you think this does for his legacy? Because there's a lot of back and forth on his impact, what he's done. How do you guys feel about Jason Tatum if he were to lose this all?
Starting point is 00:17:16 Well, actually, this wouldn't be his second time. This would be his third time. This would be like the third time he got to the stage. That's how I would look at it because one time he said we got time. That wasn't even last year.
Starting point is 00:17:35 That was the year before that when they came. Then he came back and got hurt. If you pay attention to many of the great Hall of Famer basketball players, some of them only got to the championship one time. It's not like you're just guaranteed to come back every year. There's injuries, there's basketball, there's life, there's money, there's all types of things that changes teams and causes people to not be there the next time.
Starting point is 00:18:03 So I think he got to really zoom in and make the most of this time. If they win and he plays all right, and let's just say he plays all right, then good. Then he'll be all right, and let's just say he plays all right, then good. Then he'll be all right. He'll be cool. If they lose and he just plays all right, then he's going to be talked about all summer. Now, if they lose and he plays phenomenal,
Starting point is 00:18:39 they're going to be like, nah, but he went crazy. He did go crazy. So there's a bunch of different scenarios you can have for Jason Tatum. They probably Jason Tatum. And like I said, I'll lay out three. If that Boston Celtics wins and he plays decent, cool. It's okay. If they lose and he plays sensational, they're going to be like, well,
Starting point is 00:18:59 he did all he could do. If they lose Boston Celtics, that is, and he plays okay or doesn't play good, it's going to be a long summer. It's going to be a long summer for him. Those are the scenarios I have. We'll wait and see how it plays out, but
Starting point is 00:19:17 I can't sit here and tell you how he's going to look or not look because there's too many different variables to go with that question. I think we have to wait until the series is over halfway through before we make a debate on Jason Tatum. I think he has to win. There's no playing good and they lose.
Starting point is 00:19:41 He has to win. I'm going on record. He has to win. Or it's just going to be all these other talks, killer. You know how people talk. Well, who else could we put on the team with him? Who else? I mean, who else do you need? You got stars in almost every position. You got an all-star and NBA champion at the one. You got a guy scoring 30.
Starting point is 00:20:11 We're not even going to count Derek White as a star. But let's go Drew Holiday. You got Jalen Brown, another star. You got Al Horford, which is another all-star at some point in time. And then you got Porzingis another star so you got four other stars you know how people say you need the big three they paused they got they got four people that was all-stars they should win and that's yeah with you i get what you're saying then that's that's that's a good point. But those are just names.
Starting point is 00:20:47 They got to play good, too. They got to play well, too. You can bring your name, but if you don't play good, you don't play good. Yeah, because, look, you got to think about this. You got four championships for the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry only got one MVP. You know, he didn't necessarily play good in the finals every year. He did enough to make sure you knew he was Steph Curry.
Starting point is 00:21:16 But when Della Dover was harassing him, it took him four or five games to figure it out. When nigga was chasing him around for four or six, seven games. And sometimes it doesn't always translate in the series, which you've done throughout the year. to figure it out when nigga was chasing them around for five six seven games and sometimes it doesn't always translate in the series what you've done throughout the year so the reason I was saying that is that for Jason Tatum you can't have an off series and I get what you're saying Mace that you got everybody else that you need their names is there but they gotta show up too everybody has to show up. So I get what you're saying
Starting point is 00:21:46 and I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying, but I can't have, I can't, if I'm Jason Tatum, I can't go 15 for 18 and then Jalen Brown goes one for 12
Starting point is 00:21:58 and it's my fault. Yeah. That's all I was saying. No, I agree with you. They definitely got to bring the game yeah should be an interesting series in the comments let us know what you guys think and then moving along so right now this has been kind of like a heated debate there's been a lot of WNBA women in sports discussions so Pat McAfee faced a lot of backlash after addressing caitlyn clark as the white bitch
Starting point is 00:22:26 while he was praising her i don't mean to laugh okay he has since issued oh he did he did yeah i know this is what he said verbatim he said what the wmba currently has is what we like to describe as a cash cow. There's a superstar. I like the media people that continue to say this rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class, nah, just call it for what it is. There's one white bitch for the Indiana team who is a superstar. He has since issued an apology because a lot of people were not happy about that. And he said he wasn't trying to be disrespectful. He also personally called Caitlin Clark and apologized to her. But I want to know you guys' opinion what is your stance
Starting point is 00:23:08 on the incident as a whole and then just in general all this back and forth discussion women in sports WNBA all that and that in between how do y'all feel about it um first of all I would like to acknowledge that haylen clog may be the first um female nba player i mean w nba player that has garnered this much scrutiny right like you know how in the nba you have the lebrons who came after Jordan, the Vince Carters, all of those people. I don't ever remember any WNBA person coming out of college, getting this much attention and making this much money. Do you, do you kill her?
Starting point is 00:23:59 Is there anybody that. Getting a lot of scrutiny like she is. Yeah. Is there anybody that... Getting a lot of scrutiny like she is? Yeah. I mean, the thing about it is that this is the deal, Murda, is that she is being perceived to have been like LeBron James, and she's not doing what LeBron James did when he got to the NBA.
Starting point is 00:24:22 And not only that, she's white. So when you have this much success, and I know you're still making a point, but when you have this, when you have Caitlyn Clark, for three years, next to her name was the word
Starting point is 00:24:37 success. Three back to back, if I'm not mistaken, at least two, but three, if I'm not mistaken, at least two. But three, if I'm not mistaken, at least two back-to-back NCAA Final Four appearances. And now, mind you, she's beating Black females to go to the NCAA. And as much as we try and sugarcoat it and throw it under the rug, white people love that. They love that. So you have the word success next
Starting point is 00:25:06 to her name for two three years and now success is not next to her name people are depicting all these different yo she's getting beat up yo they're not playing fair yo she ain't shit yo this down the third so people are upset and it just comes with being a rookie. But back to what you were saying, Mace, to answer your question, I can't think of nobody who's been picked on this much because they were holding her to a high level. You got people like Kwame Brown, who was the number one pick. Didn't necessarily live up to the expectations of being the number one pick,
Starting point is 00:25:41 but he wasn't getting the scrutiny like you're saying that Kaitlyn Clark is getting. Because to me, she was on the same pedestal as LeBron James. Now, LeBron James, that's the nigga who came to the league and said with a bunch of pressure on his shoulders and delivered. Kaitlin Clark is just not delivering as far as, at least not as far as the wins are concerned. Sorry to be long-winded about your question,
Starting point is 00:26:06 but go ahead. That's good. How much did LeBron win in his first year? Meaning the team? Did they go to the playoffs? No, I think that was the only year in his career besides the year he got injured with the Lakers that he missed the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:26:25 So I believe out of 21 seasons, he's been to the playoffs 19 seasons out of 21 seasons. He missed the playoffs his first year, and then when he got hurt that year with the Lakers, he missed the playoffs as well. But besides that, I would say – I know Stats is looking it up, but if I had to go with my own knowledge right now, I'm going to say he's been to the playoffs 19 out of his 21 years. Yeah, and she's averaging.
Starting point is 00:26:53 I don't think she's playing as bad as people think. She's averaging like 16. She's averaging 16, six, what's that, around 6 assists and 6 rebounds. So she's not doing great for all of the hype that she's getting. But when you shooting a ball, killer, and niggas is trying to swipe your feet and all of that, you can't really shoot. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:27:24 You going up for a jump shot and Paul's niggas is under you. You can't even land. You're not trying to get hurt. It's like, I think that's the part that they going too overboard with. Like, if you're going to lock up, lock up. Like, the first game, that was just real good defense. As time went on, people are really being nasty with her. And I don't blame her. I blame my teammates. Because if you're a guard killer and somebody did something to you,
Starting point is 00:27:54 we running on the court. If somebody did something to me, everybody's running on the court. So when they're repeatedly doing this to her, it looks you know the big tall girls on our team just pick up instead of saying something to the other team yeah matt barnes made that point matt barnes um we talked about that on monday matt barnes made a great point and people been talking about that the last two, three days, what Matt Barnes said. He said when he played with them, it was with Kobe. If somebody said come send to Kobe, he would get in their face. If somebody said send to CP3, he'd get in his face.
Starting point is 00:28:37 He said he was that type of player to protect the superstar. And nobody's protecting the superstar. The same thing I was telling, we was talking about on Monday, when you see her running into these wild screens, where is the teammate to sell up? Yo, pick on your left, pick coming right. You're supposed to yell that out.
Starting point is 00:28:58 But how they keep running, I seen at least three, four different screens she ran into where it looked like ice cream melting in the sun. She just said, boom, and she just melted down. That's how hard the screen was. And I'm like, they're not yelling out the pic. I'm going to be mad if they're
Starting point is 00:29:16 not yelling out the pic and I'll run into a hard-ass screen. So yeah, what you're saying, Murda, is absolutely right. And Matt Barnes, shout out to Matt Barnes because he said this over the weekend and it's been a really big topic the last two or three days about where the fuck are teammates at and and you know what nobody on our team that i've seen i couldn't be wrong but that i've been trying to keep up with this because it's been really intense with female sports the last week and a half. But nobody on our team has even defended themselves.
Starting point is 00:29:52 I don't know what the fuck y'all talking about. I got her back. Yeah, the camera may not have seen it, but I had her back. If I'm on her team and I felt I got her back, I'm going to say something to defend myself because I'm like, I got my teammates back. Nobody on the field even say that's not true. Yeah, and if they're not going to say that,
Starting point is 00:30:12 that's why they're not winning because they're not together. How would you feel? You're putting these niggas on jets and all of that, and you're getting in situations, and they're acting like you by yourself. But they're getting on the jet, and they're taking all the perks that but they getting on the jet and they taking all the perks that come with being on a team with a, this is crazy. And it ain't all about a jet. I know somebody going to be in the comments. Mason ain't all about a jet. No, all of the, all of the accolades that's coming and all of the, the brand endorsements and everything that's now
Starting point is 00:30:42 going to be hitting the WNBA, the people on our team should be helping out. It should be at least one fake fight already. You know how people fake fight. They get all aggressive. It should be at least a fake fight by now. You saw what happened to LSU.
Starting point is 00:31:00 They was ready to get it going. So, what was the actual question because i know he's beard off into something else yeah i know it started with pat mcafee what the fuck happened with that again because i want to address that yeah so let's cut it up because it is kind of like a two-part question so the first part is basically just pat mcafee addressing caitlyn clark as the white bitch, him apologizing to her for taking the apology.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Could you read how he said it so I can take it into context? He said, what the WNBA currently has is what we like to describe as a cash cow. There's a superstar. I would like the media people that continue to say this rookie class, this rookie class, nah, just call it for
Starting point is 00:31:44 what it is. There's one white bitch for the Indiana team who's a superstar. I don't like when people apologize when they say stuff like that. That's kind of like how you feel if you say it like that. I mean, me personally, I think when you say certain things, that's how you felt. And I don't think you should apologize for things you really you really felt not that you should have called her that but you know i think it's weird when people try to apologize after they disrespect you that's more so what i'm trying to say well i know one thing that when kayla clark was making her rounds her and her parents definitely stopped by the Pat McAfee
Starting point is 00:32:26 show because I watched it when she was up there. And I think that Mason's kind of right to an extent because you look weird. But what I think that Pat McAfee, my opinion is
Starting point is 00:32:46 just that he got so much like his green light at ESPN is crazy. So sometimes he don't really got like a filter. He probably just like how me and Mase talking like, we just gonna
Starting point is 00:33:02 talk amongst our niggas. It's just that his shit is on ESPN. So niggas. It's just that his shit is on ESPN. So niggas be like, bro, this shit is tight. Wow, this shit is this nigga saying. And I don't think it would have been a big deal if he didn't have a relationship with Caitlyn Clark. I think that he doesn't want to ruin his relationship with Caitlyn Clark. He has access to her when he wants to do an interview with her. And being that she's not playing good right now, that may not have been the best choice of words to keep the relationship
Starting point is 00:33:35 with her. Do I think he meant what he said when he first said it? Yeah. I think he was talking with this nigga. Yo, man, this white bitch, that's the cash cow. Then he thought about niggas like, yo, bro, you know how mother and father was up here. They may not come back. Oh, yeah, let me issue the apology because we may need them back. I think the apology was to save the relationship.
Starting point is 00:33:59 I think what he initially said was how he was just feeling. I don't think he meant any hurt, any harm or a disrespectful intent. I think he was just vibing. He got the wild green light saying what he wanted to say and that's how it came out. I think he's out of pocket,
Starting point is 00:34:18 Killer. I think he's super out of pocket. I love Pat McAfee and his pause in the show, but he was out of pocket, especially if a person been up there already. It's not like she never been up there. And also, you know, when he called Kaylin Clark, she said, you know what? She accept the apology.
Starting point is 00:34:40 We just going to move forward. But you know how people think. They're like, oh, I went up there and now when I'm not up there this nigga talking behind my back. You know, athletes today really take that in a real sensitive way. But what I'm saying is
Starting point is 00:34:56 this. I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying out of pocket. If you listen to what Stat Red, he didn't diss her. He was just talking like she a chick. He said, nah, it's one white bitch and she's the cash cow. He didn't diss her. He was just talking like she a chick. He said, nah, it's one white bitch and she's the cash cow. He didn't say you fucking bitch, dumb bitch, crazy bitch. He just said he was actually giving her props.
Starting point is 00:35:15 If you listen to what he said. Yeah, it wasn't a diss. If you listen to the exact quote where he said, that's why I asked Stat to read it. Because he didn't say, no, this bitch ain't doing this. He says, there's one white bitch and she's the cash cow. He wasn't being disrespectful. He was talking amongst his niggas.
Starting point is 00:35:33 That's why I wanted the statement to be read so that you could understand where it's coming from. Did he say he said it? No, he shouldn't have said it. I agree with you. But I don't think, like, you just was like, he thought, oh, she's trying to diss me. I think he was't have said it. I agree with you. But I don't think, like you just was like, he talking about, oh, she trying to diss me. Think he was trying to diss her.
Starting point is 00:35:48 I think he was trying to give her the credit. He just came out the way it came out. The way he was talking to his niggas because the statement is, basically what he said was, all you other bitches need to bow down to this white bitch because she running shit. That's basically what he said shout out to pat and the magazine now should he have said that no i agree with you no he shouldn't have said that but i don't think it was it was miss miss uh
Starting point is 00:36:17 anything malicious at all towards uh caitlin my opinion i want to add like he was definitely trying to praise her he's talked about her positively on multiple episodes even prior to her joining the show so i can tell he definitely didn't mean that but you know in the world and society that we are in certain word choices triggers people so when people heard that they're like especially on espn like cam was saying so it was one of those situations but yo murder yeah yo whoever made that quote sticks and stones may break my bones but words have never hurt me you fucking lie words words be hurting everybody yeah let one of us say that about Kalen Clark and say, we're going to just call and apologize. Is that really what we should do?
Starting point is 00:37:10 I mean, we can, but I'm saying we shouldn't. Let's that be on a call or something and somebody got a screen recording of you saying that. Yeah, this little woman. You know what I'm saying? Everybody going to lose it. Yeah, that's a fact. They're going to lose it. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:37:38 That's a great point, right? Like, for instance, if Stat's our sister, right? And let's say we all lived in the house together, brothers and sisters and our parents or whatever. Every time we talk or whatever, we wouldn't have to be like, yo, Stat, your bum ass friends, fuck them bitches. Them bitches is ugly, this, that, and the third.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I don't like the bitch. I'll ask you to stop bringing her over here, trying to hook me up with this bitch. I don't want to be bothered. Stop bringing her over here. Trying to hook me up with this bitch. I don't want to be bothered. That's how brothers and sisters talk. She might be like, yo, tell your nigga and your friend, stop trying to talk to me, Cam. That nigga's a bum. He ain't got no car.
Starting point is 00:38:16 He ain't got no money. He got no motion. But because we doing this, we got to say, no disrespects to that. I don't mean it's talking to you when we get ready to say respectfully i don't want it it's shit is whack every time i say something i don't mean no disrespect to her but i gotta say it publicly so people don't feel the way it is stupid yeah there's no freedom in that yeah but it's all good hey man it is it is what it is
Starting point is 00:38:48 okay so we're gonna go to break when we return we will discuss a viral video going around of kevin durant don't go anywhere I'm a get my regardless. I'm a get mine regardless. Welcome back. Now let's get into our Underdog Fantasy picks of the day. As we know, Thursday, the Mavs will play the Celtics. Underdog Fantasy has Derek White at 22.5 points, rebounds, and assists. Do you have higher or or lower, Mace? How many points?
Starting point is 00:39:50 22 and a half. This is the hardest question I think I've gotten from Underdog Fantasy. Points, rebounds, and assists? Sir. 22. 22. Lower. I know I should be. I'm going low. I'm going higher.
Starting point is 00:40:12 Okay. Jalen Brown at 32.5 points rebounds and assists. Do you have him higher or lower, Cam? Higher. Higher. Okay. And Kyrie is at 24 points. Do you have them higher lower mace higher higher okay download the underdog fantasy app and you can make your picks too
Starting point is 00:40:35 so right now there's a viral video going around of katie at the, someone from the upper balcony level was recording him in the middle of the club practicing his jump shot. So after seeing the video, what did you guys think of it? Just a funny video that I want to get you guys' opinion on. You want me to go first? I guess so. Cam first. I thought you was a vegan, Mace. What are you eating?
Starting point is 00:41:13 Grapes. You're not supposed to eat after a certain time no matter what, though. You should only drink water after a certain time. Fruit and water, Cam. You shouldn't be eating anything besides water. You've never been vegan before. You're right.
Starting point is 00:41:31 And you just started yesterday. Cam, my brain has ascended. I can hear higher things now. Bro, they've credited the beginning of the show for being one of the most disciplined people, but this is exactly what I'm talking about. No, this is what I'm supposed to do.
Starting point is 00:41:49 They say after seven, just fruit and water. Any fruit and any water. Who is that? Who is that? Huh? Who is that? The experts. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:02 I only talk with the experts about this, Cam. Okay. Okay. Anyway. It's not like I'm eating chocolate. It's not like I'm eating bread. It's fruit. But you know, that means no dairy, no nothing. No cheese, nothing.
Starting point is 00:42:20 I only speak to experts about this. You're starving right now. That's why you can't about this. You're starving right now. That's why you can't control yourself. You're starving. Hey, old girl. I'm eating P.F. Chang. Hey, when I get slim paws like you, then I'll eat P.F. Chang too. I think you had P.F. Chang before that.
Starting point is 00:42:43 Not really. Not really. You're Mr. Child's that. Not really. Not really. You're Mr. Childs, nigga. You don't fuck with me. This is like McDonald's to you. This ain't really nice. This ain't like fast food to you. This ain't really nice.
Starting point is 00:42:57 Look, as far as Kevin Durant shooting in the club, yo, he's a basketball player. Look, when you're a basketball player, he's a basketball player. Look, when you a basketball player, not just a basketball player, somebody who likes basketball, I still do it sometimes, from time to time. When you in school or you anywhere, you chilling, if me and Mace is walking down the hallway,
Starting point is 00:43:22 and let's say it's a doorway, I might jump on Mason's back porch and be like, yeah, just dunked on you or whatever. Or you might be walking down the hall, me and my nigga Tito all the time. He's laying it out. He's just doing fake basketball moves, laying it out, and I come out of nowhere swatted. This is all imaginary basketball shit. and I come out of nowhere swatted. This is all imaginary basketball shit.
Starting point is 00:43:46 So as far as his, I don't know what people expect me to talk about when you say you see Kevin Durant. I didn't see the video, but him shooting jump shots in the club. That to me, that's dedication. Because he could only have to be doing that. And I'm not saying that's going to help him get better, but to me, that's on his mind.
Starting point is 00:44:06 There's a lot of other things that could be on your mind in the club than shooting a fake jump shot. That's all I really have to say about that. I don't know if I should say what I'm about to say. Might as well. I saw him with the shot, I was thinking, it could be like a cue to tell a chick We out
Starting point is 00:44:27 Might be That's a good point too From the players club You know It sounds like this You know That's a great point Yeah She saw me So it sounds like this, you know? That's a great point. Y'all, she saw me.
Starting point is 00:44:50 You want a ball or not? Yeah. No, that's a good point. I like this as your last shot. This is your last shot, okay. Nigga like this, okay. It's your last shot man all right what do you think about that is that your your generation riz no i thought it was funny because you could tell he was just in his own world having a good time um the comments were funny because it said that he was scaring
Starting point is 00:45:22 the girls but hey he didn't care he just went out there to vibe everybody nobody else in the club was even dancing so he said that I guess I might as well just practice my jumper so that if that makes him happy shout out KD because that's all you got okay so moving along we got a little bit of football topics so CJ Strata has been on like quite the little media run if you guys have seen um doing a lot of interviews and stuff lately um there's multiple parts and questions that he's answered in the interview but the one that's going viral right now is he said that matthew stafford would have three or four rings if he had been in Aaron Rodgers' shoes all those years in Green Bay.
Starting point is 00:46:05 So one, do you guys agree with his take? And then two, how do you guys feel about all these media interviews he's been doing in the offseason? Well, to start off, I do not agree with him. I do not believe that Stafford would have that many rings, three or four. I also, I like the fact that he's speaking his mind so early in his career, you know, and I like the way that it's welcomed. You don't see Aaron Rodgers beefing with him because he's a young guy saying these things.
Starting point is 00:46:43 And I think this is something that we can learn. So when there's somebody older talking about somebody younger, they should take it the same way because when he's doing it, he's just speaking his mind and being truthful to what he believed. And I think it's time for people to start seeing when somebody else says it the same way. Don't be upset. Everybody have their favorites. Everybody have their opinions. And you got to let people have their opinions. Even if you don't agree with them,
Starting point is 00:47:12 that's why it's called an opinion. It's their opinion. So when he says that, he have the right to think that. And I have the right to say I think he's out of his mind. Even though he's a great player, it's part of his career. Takes though he's a great player, it's part of his career. Takes nothing away from his last year performance or this year
Starting point is 00:47:30 performance. I'd still be rooting for him. But that's crazy. Stafford would never be in Rodgers. Ever. Yeah. I haven't really been keeping up with his interviews or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Yeah, he been going... You on that Bado pack? It sound like you on that Bado pack. Yeah. What happens is this, too. I mean... This is nigga who left. Amber Rose in the car.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Amber Rose manipulated him. I knew you was going to say that. You got to remember what kind of mindset we're dealing with murder. These niggas don't be knowing. They really don't be knowing when they're being preyed upon. She just went to ride. She just went to ride. You got to realize their brain ain't mature yet.
Starting point is 00:48:25 They did. So when he be spewing out shit like he did shit that we talk about now, I can't even feel the way like you don't know no better. But you said it was no more cars with wheels on them. So I'm just let it go. Well, he has to be careful of C.J. Strout is this is that you had a great year last year tremendous
Starting point is 00:48:51 exceeded expectations so in the National Football League unless you're Tom Brady Eli Manning who Brady, Eli Manning, who else? Peyton Manning.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Pat Mahomes. Pat Mahomes. That's about it that I can name in the last 20 years, maybe 25 years. If you're not one of them four names that me and Mace just named, you don't win multiple championships. Think about this. Last 25, 26, 27 years, it's four quarterbacks that won multiple championships.
Starting point is 00:49:37 Yeah. Aaron Rodgers had one championship. Tom Brady, seven championships. Eli Manning, two. His brother Peyton, two. Pat, pardon me? Big Ben. Big Ben. There you go.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Come on, Stat. Why are you here, Stat? That's what I said. I knew in between. Yeah. Big Ben. My bad. I didn't hear you, Stat. Yeah, but we're naming four or five quarterbacks in the last 27 28 30 years that's had multiple you know i ain't gonna go 30 years because then now we're creeping back into when the cowboys won but 25 years since the turn of
Starting point is 00:50:17 the century that has multiple championships so cj stratt what I would say to you is this. Because you had a successful year last year, and it looks like you have a lot of promise. You're very young. The National Football League is a very, very unpredictable place. It looks like you're going to be them niggas this year, and then you won't be shit for the next six, seven years. So you're sitting there saying with Stratford what it did or what it had,
Starting point is 00:50:48 and I think you're saying that because you believe that you're going to have multiple championships, which I hope you do. I'm a fan of yours, football-wise anyway, not decision-making with bitches-wise, but football-wise, definitely. But be careful saying shit like this because this is the ultimate team sport. Even basketball, basketball-wise, sometimes a player or two players could take over a game or a series. you need the team. There's no one person that can do it. Not even two people can do it. You need your team. So be careful
Starting point is 00:51:28 making these type of statements and you got a long career to go. But Aaron Rodgers, don't shit on Aaron Rodgers like that because Aaron Rodgers is one of them. He's definitely one of them. Yeah, they're talking about he didn't look good, all of that. They've seen him practice. He wasn't looking
Starting point is 00:51:44 the same. We'll see. And even if he, let's say he doesn't. Outstanding career, man. Outstanding career. Look, a lot of times people sit there and say, Dan Marino's one of the best quarterbacks ever. He didn't win a Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Never. He didn't. And Russell Wilson got this close to winning two he was paused he was very close that bad play awesome yeah he probably met on p carroll and then just one more fact about the interview because this has also been being discussed a lot he also said that he would rather have Eli Manning's career over Aaron Rodgers so how do you guys feel about that take as well I'm not gonna talk about this camp
Starting point is 00:52:35 literally trolling us he's pulling a Ryan Garcia right now. He's definitely, he's definitely trolling right now. To be fair though, he did kind of say something that you would usually say. He said, you want the rings. So.
Starting point is 00:52:57 Okay. Okay. Okay. I can go. Nah, nigga. I can't go with that. Eli only got one,
Starting point is 00:53:06 right? Eli got two. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah can't go with that. Eli only got one, right? Eli got two. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. You go with Eli. You go with Eli. And both of his rings are going. Nigga, Nick almost lost it. Nigga, Nick throwing up balloons. Woo!
Starting point is 00:53:17 First of all, both Eli championships is over Tom Brady too. Yeah. I ain't agreeing with what you said. I like this, it was crazy pause. But that was the crazy one. Who was the player that caught pause the ball on his helmet?
Starting point is 00:53:37 I remember I saw that, they was crying. David Tyree. Yeah, that was great. Nick just typed that in, Nick know all that shit. Keep it up, Nick. It's gonna be David Tyree, bullet on the side of your helmet. Boss, nigga, boss.
Starting point is 00:54:01 Not only that, remember the other Super Bowl, Plexico caught one in the end zone with like almost no time left. Yeah. And I'm not agreeing with that, but, you know, if you wanted to go title-tearing, you got more titles than Aaron Rodgers. But let's think about this. The year you won the title, they just made it in the wild-card spot.
Starting point is 00:54:20 I think it was 9-7, if I'm not mistaken. And they won all the games by the skin of their teeth. But it's still a title. wild card spot. I think there was nine to seven, if I'm not mistaken. And they won all the games by the skin of their teeth. But it's still a title, either way, but you can't deny that. And both your titles are against Tom Brady. You can't deny that. But as far as skills
Starting point is 00:54:37 and being a better quarterback, Aaron Rodgers is perceived until Patrick Mahomes that Aaron Rodgers is perceived until, you know, Patrick Mahomes has been around the last few years as the best quarterback ever to play football, a lot of people saying. They wasn't saying Tom Brady.
Starting point is 00:54:56 They wasn't saying Joe Montana. And they wasn't including championships. They're talking about skill set-wise. That Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback ever. I'm talking about in the pocket, on the run, throwing from left to right, from right to left. He was perceived as the best quarterback ever to play the game. Now, you're going to say Joe Montana.
Starting point is 00:55:16 You're going to say Tom Brady. You're going to say Brent Rother. Whoever you want to say because of the championships. But outside of that, pure skill set, they're saying he's the best to ever do it. Now, Patrick Mahomes has been doing sensational shit the last four or five years, so
Starting point is 00:55:33 he's jumped into that conversation, but that's been an argument amongst people for a long time, that because Tom Brady has the best, the most quarterback, pardon me, the most championships, that they say Aaron Rodgers is still the best quarterback. Well, all I know is we know the NFL schedule has been released. The Texans play the Jets Halloween this year.
Starting point is 00:55:57 So all the things that C.J. Stroud has said about Aaron Rodgers, not saying that's directly to him, should be an interesting game because of the things that he has said. Okay, and then last question before we wrap. During the Jets OTAs, Aaron Rodgers actually had treatment done on his feet during their practice. He was able to return to the field afterwards and continue working out without issue. But of course, that video clip worried Jets fans, seeing that it could have been an apparent injury.
Starting point is 00:56:27 But how are you guys feeling in general about Aaron Rodgers' return? He was seen limping, Stat. What are you saying? I'm just reading the exact thing that's out. They're not going to say it's limping, but in the video, he was sitting down trying to help his foot. But yeah. exact thing that's out they're not gonna say it's limping but in the video he was sitting down
Starting point is 00:56:45 trying to help his foot but yeah word around town nick is that he's cooked are y'all ready to accept that in new york because i ain't buying no more new york paraphernalia that's what they're saying. The word around town is that they're cooked. It seemed like next year, like Killer said, next year. I think Killer jinxed New York. They shouldn't have Killer back
Starting point is 00:57:15 in the Giants stadium or the Jets stadium or the Garden. Killer, you jinxed them. First of all, the Giants and the Jets play in the same stadium. Jets don't even got their own stadium. Secondly, I don't want to be around them losers. I don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:57:34 I ain't going to go back in there. I don't give a fuck about going in there. So I've been going there for decades. Me and Mace played in there last time. Me and Mace got closer to a championship than the Knicks, man. In the garden, man. What the fuck are they talking about, man? We got closer in the garden.
Starting point is 00:57:52 Word. We got closer to a motherfucking championship than the Knicks. I don't know if Aaron Rodgers is cooked or not. I know. I've seen the video stats. You're talking about. I think that people are always going to watch Aaron Rodgers closely because he didn't play last year.
Starting point is 00:58:08 So I don't know what the actual scenario is, but they're going to make a big deal out of anything Aaron Rodgers related until he gets on the football field and shows people he can play. He got injured the third snap into the season last year. So anything Aaron Rodgers related, they're going to make a big deal about it until he plays three, four games. Anything's going to seem like it's a problem. That's
Starting point is 00:58:34 my opinion on that. Yeah, I mean, they saying it was just a blister, but we'll see. We'll see. Well, I'm just going to hope he's healthy and feeling good because I'm just trying to see some good football so you don't want him to come back
Starting point is 00:58:51 right pause I want everybody to be good let's see some good games why would I want him to be hurt okay well that is all the time that we have for today thanks for watching and as always it is what it is
