Welcome back to It Is What It is.
I'm Treasure Wilson, aka Stat Baby, along with your host, Mace and Cam.
And y'all today, we got a special guest live in studio.
We got the father of the WBO Welterweight champ, Devin Haney, introducing Bill Haney.
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Bill was good, man.
What's going on, man?
Let's go.
You know what it is, man.
It's from open all of them.
Man, listen, I'm so happy.
It is what it is.
Yeah, man.
And I know they don't want me to be up in here.
But thank you guys for having me and Queen, thank you.
Yeah, listen, we get a lot of, I'm not going to say a lot.
We get a few complaints when you're up here.
You know, you come up here and then I get old.
Was it saying?
Because the last time I was on here, he was here.
Yeah.
You know, and it was, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience,
but it was kind of like when you're playing with the JV team,
shit don't just go the same way.
So I'm glad you back Mace and the Queen.
Damn, nigger for my men sending JV, man.
Since the big boxing in there.
I'm pretty sure I was something to say about this.
There's a lot of fucking movement going on.
But I won't get into that.
What I was about to say was this bill.
Every time you're up here,
because this your house,
you're always welcome up here.
We invite people, they don't, you know,
me and Mace is pretty raw.
So some people act like they don't see the invite,
they don't want the invite,
or they just invite, whatever it is.
Listen, I'm going to tell you what.
Either they don't got,
they don't got nothing to say
or they don't got no money,
because we have to,
I mean, and it's the safest place.
If you really want to come lay it down,
I mean, come on to it is what it is.
But, I mean, I don't think that they got what it takes.
No, the thing about it is this.
They always want to come pause after you get here.
Yo, you never let me tell my side of the story.
You have Bill up there, but then I can't come up there
and say what I need to say.
Nigger, y'all niggas is welcome, my nigger.
But they always see you up here.
And then after you come up here,
you know, you never let me come up there.
See what I got to say.
Yo, niggas, stop pump faking.
And when y'all niggas is ready,
half of y'all live here.
Come through, nigga.
Come through.
I mean, listen, it's only one nigga that's in business
that lives here in the town right now.
And it's me.
Yeah.
There we go, yeah.
Bill, it's a lot of movement going on right now.
We've seen a lot of shit happen in the last week, man.
And, you know, I follow you on social media.
And the reason that I love following you on social media,
just in general your whole career,
You know, like I said, my uncle Billy introduced us 12, 13, 14 years ago.
But just your personality, you're not lying, not faking this is you, including on social media.
I'm going to start with this.
We've seen something on your page where Devin was sparring somebody.
And then Shakur seemed to be laughing.
And he put up a video, I believe, of him sparring somebody.
What is all this about?
What did you get from that?
I mean, you know, that's good that you.
That's the first question and the most important question.
Shout out to the Nigerian Eagle.
I call him Double O.
He came in to give us some work.
And of course, I wanted to put up the sparm
because I wanted to let the people know
that we stay ready, that we're motivated,
we're doing it for them,
and we're taking all fades.
Here comes Shakur.
I mean, he's tried to be like Debo,
but, I mean, he put up an amateur.
Shout out to the amateur, though,
because it looked like he did a pretty good job.
You know what I mean?
I don't think he has but about five amateur fights.
I mean, so I think he did pretty good with the guy.
Right.
So basically, for the people that don't know what's going on,
I'm going to give you a little insight with me and Bill is talking about.
Bill and Devin put up a sparring,
but the person they were sparring is, what, 16 and 0, 15-0?
18-0-10-10-1-19-knockouts, a pro.
You know what I mean?
18-0-11 knockouts.
and, you know, it looked pretty good.
You know, they were sparring.
Then Chakur...
I showed the respectful part of it, you know what I mean?
Yeah.
And I showed that it was good, you know, that it was work.
You know what I mean?
That we were in the gym.
I didn't necessarily show the highlights of him against the sparring partner.
Right.
But what Chakur came back to do to justify that he's ready to fight death
is to put up a sparring between him and an amateur kid.
I think his name was Salam.
I forget his first name.
I've just given some context to the audience
case they don't know.
So Devin's fighting somebody
who could potentially be a champion
and he's saying
Shakur, what Bill is explaining to us
is that with Shakur's video
he was fighting an amateur
and the video that Shakur put up
it looked like he was getting better work
on an amateur to where Devin was fighting
somebody who might be a pro
and in their future.
Also, in that video,
this, what's his name?
Who you sparring?
Well, the guy's name was, what was the guy name?
You forgot.
It was not, whatever it is.
Well, the guy that, he's from Nigeria, so I don't want to watch his name.
Right.
I call him double O.
Double O, you know what I mean?
Nigeria as well.
The question I'm asking you, he looked a little heavier than you guys.
Are you trying to let us know something without letting us know something?
Well, I mean, you know, it's definitely that we don't pick on little guys, you know what I'm saying?
Okay.
You know, we were definitely letting them know that if you're,
If you're too small, you lean in on the skills.
If you don't believe in your skills,
then you stay in a little guy's place.
Okay.
Yeah, I like that time of talk.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I like that kind of talk.
Oh, stay in your place.
Stay in your place, you know?
Absolutely.
So it's big news the last, you know, 48 hours or so 72 hours or so,
however long it's been this week, I would say.
But, you know, when they were doing the sparring?
Okay.
I didn't see what's fine.
Was Floyd there?
Because, I mean, I heard he was telling him to come over the top of the jab.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure.
I mean, well.
I saw that video.
I saw that video.
Yeah.
When, I mean, he couldn't come over the top of the jab when he was in there with Dave.
So how the fuck he think he's going to tell Chakour to come over the top of the jet?
What happened between Devon?
For the casuals they don't know.
And Devin, Spark, Smart Floyd.
What was that like?
It was, I told.
Floyd. I said it's like you're looking in the mirror, Floyd. Everything that Floyd did,
Devin could see. Devon said it was more like it was a dream and a sense of that he knew
everything the Floyd was going to do. It was before the Connor McGregor fight, you know,
you know, a few of the retirements ago, you know what I'm saying? I think that he said that,
or it's been some talk about him and Ryan Garcia in there, you know what I mean? But I definitely
know it wouldn't be any talk about him and Devin because he knows he's,
He can't come over the top of that jab.
He's going to have to find somebody else to do it.
Let me ask you this too, because I don't know.
I mean, of course I've been around,
but I'll never have the knowledge to have
and other people that's been in it more in depth than me.
I've seen Terrence Crawford recently say
that whatever happens is spar that don't matter
because you could be going in there to work on your jab
or work on your defense or work on your check hook
or work on your overhead jack, whatever it is.
So how seriously do you take sparring
if you're in there serious
and the other person is there to just work on something.
I mean, we take our work serious,
so I mean, whatever we're working on,
we take it serious. If it's punching you to
fuck out, then that's what we're going to do that
day. If it's working on defense,
we're going to do that on that day.
But we're going to be excited, motivated
about it. It's like when you hear
about Jordan and practice.
I mean, did they say he was trying to kill
niggas in practice? Yeah.
Then he killed niggers in the games.
That's what we do, too.
So what do you have to say?
say to Jamal, pardon me, to Terrance Crawford's statement about that.
You know, Terrance, that's what he believes, you know what I'm saying?
Right.
But he also has, I believe he said he has one gear.
And I don't really remember hearing nobody really getting out on him.
I think all of the young guys that then talked about, they didn't been in the ring with
them, say that, that, they got belt to ass.
I think Shakur said he had belt to ass, Richard Hitchinson, Kishon Davis.
I mean, so, you know, it doesn't.
sound like he's sparing no niggas and, um, and, um, and, yeah, and sparring. Yeah.
That's a really good point.
Who do you think, when you say that Floyd was looking at himself in the mirror, who do you
think best, like, prepared him for that? Do you think that what role did Floyd Mayweather
senior play in Devin's life? Oh, I mean, man, I can't think, uh, senior enough, you know what
I mean for what he instilled at us early on, you know?
He definitely let me know that there will be days like this.
If you look back and you look on YouTube and you go back,
Floyd Sr. said that Devin was a new Floyd, you know.
He said that he would do what Floyd did.
He said that boxing would be in good hands with Devin.
So, you know, from the confidence, from the defense,
we learned a lot from Floyd senior.
But we also learned a lot from Roger and Jeff Mayweather.
Jeff doesn't get enough credit for the things that he showed us early on as well.
Yeah, I thought about that because when you was talking about to go over the jab
and you said he was looking, Floyd was looking at himself,
it just brought back to my mind that I remember when I first saw Dev,
I used to always see him with the Mayweathers, right?
So in that trajectory where Dev is to date, how much, like, what percentage do you think the Mayweathers
contribute to that style and that professionalism that we see that Devin has?
I think definitely it's a part of the Mayweather style, but it's all hainy, you know what I mean?
Yeah. Let's be clear, nigger.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Let's be clear, nigger.
Let's be clear.
It's some different, we got some different shit over here.
Yeah.
Listen, Bill, a lot of niggas don't even know, right?
And I know because of the relationship you have, my uncle,
that at a young age, you used to travel the country.
Oh, absolutely.
And it wasn't just like, okay, we're from Oakland,
we're saying, we're going to fight Oakland niggas.
We go into Vegas, we fight Vegas.
You were going to New York.
You was going to Michigan, and you go into New York.
You're going to get past, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah, in the Bronx.
Yeah, we had to go, we had to go.
And that's, and I love that because what happens is,
you become placing if you're fighting the same people
in the same circle.
What made you take that approach like, fuck that?
We're going across America and further if need be to make sure that my son's the best.
What gave you that idea?
Because people don't do that shit.
I know that every nigga put on their pants one leg at a time.
And I had to let him know, you know what I mean?
That it's not where you're from, you know what's in you, you know?
So, I mean, because most of the time growing up, you'll hear that all the best fighters are from Detroit or all the best fighters is from Philly.
You know what I mean?
So I had to make sure that we pulled up on.
niggas in Philly. We pulled up the niggas in New York, the Midwest, down south, you know,
and to let him know the Earth is our turf, you know, I'm a real Oakland nigga, man.
Yeah, Earth is our term. I like that. Now, look, we're speaking about Sparrow, right?
Who's somebody that gave Devin some of his best work sparring that we didn't see? Because I remember
Blair Cobb, and it seemed like he was playing with Devin, and Devin got mad. Who's somebody that you
think gave Devin some good work that we may not have seen?
And, you know, Blair was never playing.
He's always serious, you know what I mean?
Shout out, shout out to Blair.
Okay.
And, you know, his career.
But, man, there's been so many, I think, that the sparring with Jorge Linares, you know what I mean, was a great learning experience.
Of course, the sparring with tank early on in the first sparring session that you guys didn't get a chance to see.
That was the one that prepared us for the one that you guys did get a chance.
to see. I know Tank will probably like that one.
You know, but there's been so many times that I've seen guys bring out the best in Devin.
And that's what's exciting about him is his work ethic.
And you won't get a chance to see really what he got and how he's gotten better unless
the opposition brings it out in him. And that's why we've been so gung-ho about making the best
fights.
All right, listen, let's get to it.
I got all that out the way.
We've seen Shakur leave Zupa this week.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't know why we actually talked about it on the episode yesterday.
Or maybe we didn't talk about that episode yesterday.
Me and Mace actually was just talking about it actually off camera if I'm not mistaken.
But like I said, I'll follow you on social media.
You were just laughing.
you was laughing and then you put
Shacap
when you seen that
what do you take so what
okay let's get let's start a couple questions
let's start first question
what made that so funny to you
and what did we get from Shacap
because Devin not only
pardon me Chakor not only left
Zoufa he says he's starting
his own promotion company
what's so funny
well I mean you know fucking so funny Bill
for the last six months
we've been going to
and forth negotiating
and trying to do this big fight
for the people, right? Because that's a
fight that I believe decides
once and for all
who the pound for pound best fighter
in the world is.
So I was committed and still committed.
Bill, Bill, pound for pound best
fight after this fight. Come on, Bill.
Pound for pound?
I think the resume will all for it.
I swear always going left with me and you, man.
The winner of Shakur
and Dad would definitely have
What's that Asian nigger, man?
What's that danger?
That nigga from Asia, dangerous, man.
That, what's a nigga name in Asian?
All you know is he's Asian and you don't know nobody's off.
That's what I mean.
You're Asian, man.
I don't know.
I don't know who he fought.
Yeah.
He needs to shit out the nigger of the Timberlands, yo.
I ain't gonna lie about my baby.
I ain't mean to cut you off.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
But I wanted to make you.
If Mesa's co-signing, we're gonna go down.
While you tell me your point, I'm gonna look at the pound-for-pound list.
I think if he beat, I think if he beat Shakur,
the winner of that fight gotta be pound for pound
because those are the fighters that everybody don't seem to want to fight.
Don't build this studio.
Don't start this shit, Mason.
I mean, who has, I mean, you gotta remember, Terrence is, is retired.
So other than Terrence,
you might go to the list, right?
Terence will be my number one, but he's not paused.
Pause.
He's not fight.
No problem.
And then G. Money ain't fighting.
And then G. Money ain't fighting. So who else is there?
I'm about the list right now.
Well, you know, why are you talking about G. Money? Because I was misinformed the last time I came
on here when you wasn't here, went sin.
Yeah.
And I had heard he was doing working with Foot Locker. He was working at Foot Locker. I was wrong.
Who?
I was thinking.
I was dead.
I was wrong.
You know, there guys.
He still got a chill.
No, no, no, no, no.
But I found out.
I found out, Mace.
He's one of the new Jabberwockys, Mace.
No, he's the new one.
The one about five foot four, five foot two.
He's doing it.
Listen, you see the new move?
Go to the new move right now all over social media.
That same move that that new Javowaliki does.
he's a new one.
You're wild.
I meant to tell you that shit.
This niggas said Tank was working in for Lager.
I was wrong.
Now,
that he said he's dancing.
He'll disrespect.
Not just any dance.
He's dancing at an elite level.
I mean, he dancing so good.
It goes viral.
Did you see the move, Mace?
We loved it.
We did you see this app, Bill.
George sends to the video.
Who?
Tanks move?
Your tank is crazy, man.
Tank's move.
I didn't even mean to cut you off when you was giving us your point about...
Pound from pound.
No, no.
I just, I mean, I'm saying...
He's getting to a point.
These guys are for pound for pound...
Right.
On the pound-for-pound list.
But when you talk about actually beating a guy, a pound-for-pound legend and Hall of Famer,
we've done that as well with Lomachinko.
We've also fought...
As underdogs, on the powerful pound list, as an underdog going up and challenging and becoming champion.
So I think, you know, you can no longer down him. You got to crown him.
And, I mean, if Shakur is, and you don't like to call fighter scary, but, I mean, if he's scared, then, and you heard what Roy Jones had to say today.
he says that if you too small stay in your place
and what are you referring to?
Because you'd be more specific?
I'm saying this if you...
In other words, are you trying to be politically correct
and call niggas, little niggas in a nice way?
I mean, if, listen, if you're too small,
you got to stay in your place.
But it was one thing that you can do
when you want us to do something
that we ain't supposed to do, and that's put up some money.
Excuse me, bleeped,
out please. You know, my daughter might be watching. Put up the money, man. So what's the
problem? What's going? Why hasn't this fight been able to happen for the people who haven't
watching? We already know it's been at 143, 145, rehydration clause. Coming back, it's been a mess.
We know that you're the champion. And my thought process is, why is the champion have to
make so many adjustments? Just my thought process. But at the end of the day, I understand
about money as well.
What do you think about,
and for the people who aren't aware,
I'm just bringing the audience up to speed.
What's been going on
and tell them, run them through
what you've been dealing with
the last three to four to five to six months,
whether it's Keishon Davis,
whether it's rehydration clause,
whether it's 143,
whether it's 145,
whether it's, the money's not right.
Give us your last six months to a year
trying to get this fight.
Because you almost, in November 23rd,
if I'm not mistaken,
y'all have been an actor for a year
and I know you want to fight
so where has been the
hurdles that you've been going across
and did everything
I did everything
to try to make this fight from
calling my broker
to get an appraisal on that island
I heard about
but I don't know the address to it
I don't know what it's worth
that's what might need to be put up
put the island up
Who's the island are you
I'm talking about Jay
Jay put the island up man
you know what I mean
but I don't know how much is worth so
we might got to talk to the broker
and see if it comes through the appraisal right
because I don't know the address
you know what the address is
I know I think it's a Belisa
if I'm not mistaken I'm not sure
but when you say that
and I know you're not joking
I know you're serious
what do you mean by put the money up
why can't we get this fight done
What is really holding it up?
Is it the promotion?
Is it the back and forth?
Is it an A side, B size of rehydrate?
What do you think the number one problem is getting this fight done?
Actually, you would have to talk to them on their side, right?
We've done everything that we think from promoting it, from discussing it.
We spent the last six months on it, and he walked away.
So what happened with
there's rumors that you might afford Kishar
what happened with that situation?
The double barrel had blanks.
I'm talking about the one that Jay said
he had pointed at me.
He said he had two double barrels,
one on that end and one on that end.
I should have known because niggas be talking about switches,
not double barrels.
Not that I carry anything like that,
But I hear what they'd be saying these things.
And everybody's talking on switching.
The double barrels sounded like a musket.
It sounded like some shit back.
He said a musket.
18-100.
He said, I switched.
So, I mean, you know, I mean, I took it serious.
Right.
You know, when a guy said that, you know,
the homie got two double barrels pointed out.
What was he talking about Shakur and Kishon?
Yeah, well, when I took it serious because.
not only are those two fighters something
that I rate them.
I rate them enough that they're
two of the bad motor scooters just
on the hit list. You remember the one
we had talked about the other day.
I mean, the last time we came.
And for
Jay to say that he has
two double barrels,
one and both of those guys
had pointed at me
and pointed at Devin, of course,
that we had nowhere else to go.
I think now,
There's quite some time in the past the people, the executives involved know that he might have had some blanks, man.
What can I say?
But what happens when fighters put all this equity into a fight and then they don't pull the trigger on these fights?
What does that do to the boxing world?
What does that do to the promotion company and the validation of it?
Well, exactly, the validation.
and what it does is it gives,
it leaves the money on the table,
you know what I mean?
So I'm gonna say it now
for the money and the record
every time you niggas duck
our pay go up.
So you might want to stop ducking
I mean if you want to stop us
from going to the mall
and to the car place
and you know what I mean
paying for all these other things
and helping people
the way that we help people
because, you know,
it's not like you hurting us.
You know what I mean?
That's why I said
that Devin, I call him Debo.
You know what I mean?
I was the one.
that gave him that nickname just because the way he's debawing the industry as a whole.
Look, a lot of fighters, they don't want to lose their O.
And before that, before, you know, the result got overturned to make Devin back undefeated.
Do you think that one loss hurts a fighter to where we're missing out on so many great
fights because a lot of fighters don't want to lose their O, that one fight?
really could change somebody's career
in this era anyway
because we don't see, you know, we're older,
we got to see niggas fight three, four times,
you know what I'm saying?
Whether it's Paki officer got six losses,
seven, eight, nine losses, or whoever it is.
We've seen people lose multiple times
because I don't know got three losses,
if I'm not saying, maybe four.
We've seen people lose their own
and still keep their star status.
How big right now what's going on
with the main people around the weight class,
whether it's Walter Wade or Junior Walt's Wade or whatever,
that this is always important.
Do you think that matters?
I believe that it's the experience that matters and how you look at it.
You know what I mean?
We're a very faithful family, you know what I mean?
We believe that a lot makes no mistakes.
And we know for sure what was perceived as a lost, you know,
that day with Ryan Garcia has turned out to be a win.
and not that it was a win on our record,
but we learned a lot about ourselves.
I learned a lot about Devin
and he learned a lot about himself.
And they just don't want to tell the truth.
Did you see how many times he got up?
That's what I said.
Do you see what it would take?
Do you see he's not no, you know what I mean?
He is who he is.
And I'm so happy to be, you know what I mean,
rocking with him every day side by side,
you know, and getting down for him.
That I know that we have an edge
because that's the part that they don't talk about.
And that's the part that most guys,
boxers and men in general,
you know,
are fearful of going through those things.
Until you go through it,
you can't never get to it.
So, you know what I mean?
We didn't been there and we came back even better.
Right.
So it looks like we talked about this
on the last episode, too,
when I was like,
you just talked about maybe moving up
and wait to fight boots.
It looked like he had to think about Kelly or Fondora.
Is that still,
still a fight that you would entertain after those fights maybe take place if he wins both of
those fights? I told him, and I talked to his people, I told him if, if they hope and they
pray enough that Devin calls their name, they will be in the biggest fight and have the biggest
opportunity of their career. And they deserve it. I mean, they work hard, you know what I mean?
They deserve it. Yeah, they do. I watch them. They deserve it. They work hard. And, you
You know, if that time comes, if and when,
but right now we have other business at hand,
and of course he has business that he's talked about.
And, you know, I mean, I like to see him in there
with Daddy Long Legs.
Yeah.
With Fondora?
Daddy Long Legs.
I call him Mr. Impossible.
He's the whimby of boxing.
He's a phenom.
It's dangerous, man.
Right.
And it's something that boots has maintained will be something easy.
So as a fight fan, I want to watch him go do it.
Right.
I dig it.
Let me see where I got here.
Yeah, this is what I want to know as well.
Say that doesn't happen and say this fight happens with Kishan and Hitchison.
Would you want to fight the winner of that fight?
Well, both of them have backed out of their last fights.
I think, you know, Richard Hitchinson with.
Yeah, stomach virus or something.
Yeah, the bubble guts.
The bubble guts.
The bill is wild.
That's what that is.
That's the bubble guts.
You know what I mean?
And then we know Kishan's bubble guts is legendary, right?
So until they actually get in the ring, I don't want to give a prediction.
You know what I mean?
Because they've shown that when it comes to something big, they might pull out.
Pause.
Yeah, so where do y'all go from here?
And that's what I was going to ask.
Yeah, if it's not Hitchison, it's not, it's not, um, Kishan,
Shakur doesn't think he could fight at 147.
What's next for Devo?
For me, for me, those, those are the guys that you know.
Those are the guys that's been doing a whole lot of faking versus making it happen.
You know what I mean?
That's why I'm on here on, it is what it is to let,
everyone know what we've been going through.
I mean, but there are some fighters.
There are some fighters that are really, I think,
serious about their craft.
They have their nose down.
And we look forward to making it happen with some of those guys.
Who are some of those names?
Well, Liam Parle is one guy, you know,
who's been consistently saying that he would take the fight
and it's a unification, of course.
and that's something that we might pursue next.
What's next for Haney promotions as a whole?
That's a good question.
While Devon is the primary focus,
the goal is to get Devin closer to the Mount Rushmore of boxing,
we definitely want to help other fighters.
And more and particularly,
my mission will be to help other dads.
that's, you know, bring out the best in their sons
and become world champion.
So that's what we tend to lean more to in 2027
is helping, you know what I mean?
And we see you get back to the community
and all that holidays and everything else
for the people that don't know.
He don't just be popping the shit
and the shit that is well deserved to be popped,
but he goes out Thanksgiving,
helps out the community,
and I've seen that also in social media,
so I want people to recognize that as well.
They mean to cut you off, finish bill.
And that's one of my,
biggest missions. I think every time I come here, I always talk directly to the other fathers and
sons just sitting here watching and saying, you know, wondering can they do it. You know, I'm here to tell
them that they can. Right. You know, to have to keep the faith, you know, keep the work ethic up,
you know what I mean, and keep believing in each other. More importantly, showing loyalty,
you know what I mean? I think what, that, that thing that I have is a, as a perfect version of me,
along with Devin being a perfect version of him.
And we have that kind of chemistry that, you know what I mean?
He does his part and I do my part and here we are.
Right.
It's been something, you know, just really off topic a little bit.
And this is a little bit old.
Where is you a Floyd relationship today?
You know, we see y'all cool.
We see you're not cool.
I remember it's really, really went viral when y'all was on Zoom or on FaceTime.
He thought I was having a bad day.
You know.
Anything I was having a bad day that day?
Well, I'll tell you, live on it is what it is.
I never thought it would be a day that I was ever be happy that my son is in a position he's in.
And that's the main thing that I stress.
That's the main thing I wanted.
I never wanted bad for Floyd.
You know what I mean?
He's quite an inspiration and a superhero to us in boxing.
He's done a lot of things behind the scenes in business that he and I know about.
You know what I mean?
So I'm just really...
Well, last time you were here, not to cut you off,
and I'm glad you're taking that approach,
whatever relationship may be,
because you said he's done a lot of things
privately to help you and publicly to hurt you,
if I'm not mistaken.
No.
Oh, it's vice versa.
The way you said.
It's vice versa.
Okay, I'm sorry, you know.
Yeah.
But, you know, I was looking forward to one day,
the day comes when, you know what I mean,
the Devon is in the position he's in, right?
And you know what I mean?
And that's, I thank God for that.
and I just leaned more into, you know, being appreciative of the journey.
But, you know, I don't know where we stand.
It's always been Devin Haney versus everybody with me, you know what I'm saying?
So if he can respect the fact that, you know what I mean,
I've always been with my guy and for my guy, then we're 100% cool.
That's what so.
Is there anything else that you need the people to know?
Because to be honest with you, as much information as you gave us,
we still don't know when you're fighting.
We still know what's going on in Chicago.
We still don't know what's going on with Kishon.
And next month will be a year.
I'm really mad for y'all niggas.
You know what I'm saying?
Because it ain't like y'all ain't trying to track niggas.
And you're going public about it.
A lot of niggas are saying this bill as well.
Stop showing Devin working out.
Stop showing the niggas sparring.
Stop showing the body pores getting cut up and all that.
Because niggas is getting scared.
And I'm just still going off with people that say, not with Cameron is saying.
No, niggas don't get mad at me.
This is what the public is telling Bill.
stop showing the videos
because that may be scaring some people off.
Well, not only do we show the videos
and actually show him working in the gym,
but we also show you guys
that both Kishon Davis and Shakur Stevenson
has had the most money put on the table
ever in the history of their careers
to fight Devin in this year.
So I'm thankful to my team.
I'm thankful to everybody involved,
that they believe in us,
that, and they don't mind putting that money up to make these things happen.
Now, of course, I didn't see that same on their side.
You know what I mean?
We went down to, we made concessions, I should say.
I want to use the word concessions.
Every concession we made, we got resistance, whether it was hydration clauses or anything
like that.
So when I make the reference to Jay and the island, I make it respectfully saying,
that when you want something, right,
you're supposed to be able to give something.
And it wasn't a two-way street in business.
So I kind of always just kind of, you know,
needle at him like, you know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
There ain't no little homies around here, Mace.
Yeah, yeah, you know.
I mean, that's a real statement,
because when I was doing music and Biggie was way up here,
I didn't ask Biggie to come down here
and rap with me down here.
I had to go up there and perform on that.
level to be considered on that level.
So going up to that level and holding your own is what makes you one of the ones.
You ain't got to say nothing.
Everybody knows those are the ones.
Every, every, I look at that sometime.
I say, man, every artist that they say is one of those artists, I smoke them on the record
no matter who they are.
And that's what give me that confidence, right?
I ain't got to say nothing.
I walk in.
They know.
And if you want to be one of the ones, you got to be one of the ones.
you got to come up to the 147 and fight the champ on his weight.
You can't be asking them to meet you in between.
You just can't do that.
You heard what he said, Chakor, come up to Devin's level like he did with Biggie.
Yeah, you got to go up to that level.
I mean, that's what, that's a powerful take.
And another thing I thought about, when you're helping these fathers,
do you help a boxer that's in 140?
You know, I was thinking about what's the guy named Floyd, the other Floyd?
Yeah.
Would you help, like, his dad?
No, absolutely.
There's not a dad that I won't help.
And if I can help him and look across him, look across him at fighting Devon,
then that would be an accomplishment for me, right?
It takes two to dance, you know what I mean?
And believe it or not, I know that.
When we fought with Brian Norman, it had nothing to do with the cars.
It had nothing to do with who we knew.
It had everything to do with the work we put in.
And I'm a firm believer in that.
So if they can beat us and they're over there on the other side,
it's going to be because they put in the work.
It's going to be because I just talked to them.
So listening to me and putting in the work is two different things.
Top ten list before we go.
Let's get to it.
Just go pound for pound.
Yeah, okay.
So first ranking, we got E Nauway.
I might have butchered his name.
The Asian nigger.
The age I knew it.
Nakatani.
No, that ain't Nogatani.
He meet Nogatan.
Told you that Asian nigger dangerous.
What's his nike name?
Enoway.
Nauai.
He can't pronounce the niger name.
Oh, yeah, enoway.
Inouet.
Inouye.
Ino way.
Oh, shit about you.
I can't say nigger name.
I know that nigger'd be hurting niggas, man.
It used to be number two.
They got him at number one.
He's that number one.
What way does he go?
But because...
Junior's the other way.
He's number one and he's nice.
And he beat...
I'm going to give it to you.
You said he beat the guy in the combat boots.
I'm going to help you with that.
That was Stephen Fulton.
Right?
Yeah.
Now, who else did he beat?
Listen, Bill, I don't live in Asia.
I'm just telling you all my fucking...
I see the fucking videos, man.
He might be number one in Asia.
But he's not number one here because
Treasure didn't even know and couldn't pronounce his name.
Listen, who was number two?
Usick.
Usick.
Usik, I don't think Usik has, is the same Usik.
That be fairy.
You know what I mean?
He hasn't really fought anyone.
I don't think he's still fighting like that.
But I do rate Usik.
But I rate him at number two.
Yeah, that last fight was a real stepback.
You said Usuk is number two in the world?
Brady man number two.
That's where he got him, man.
Yeah, I'll leave him there.
What about Jesse Rodriguez?
What about Rodriguez?
Jesse Rodriguez.
He's at three, right?
Yes.
He should be.
Okay, he can stay there.
He can stay.
Okay, Benavitas.
And Benavides?
Now, you can't flex on Benavides.
Benevides fight everybody.
Oh, okay, the monster.
Yeah.
He would be like my two.
Yeah, he would be.
or two.
He's moved up.
He could easily be number three, him and Bam.
They could easily be back in, you know what I mean?
Yeah.
You know, so I definitely, I rate Benavita as for sure.
I just, with Bam, I'm a fan of him as a person,
but the fighters that he fought,
I don't necessarily rate them to rate Bam that high.
So I'll put Benavides in front of him.
So let's move Benavides to number four
and then move Bam down to number five.
So who would be number three?
You meant move him up to number three.
Move him up to number three.
Yes.
And then he's got Usiket 2.
And then he got Usiket 2.
And then the winner of this,
Devin and Shakur, is number one.
So who's this for so far?
Well, we got Devin and number one for him already.
Right?
Yeah, he had Devin, then Ussick, and then you had Benavitas.
No, then Benavita is then Bam.
Yeah.
Benavitas, then Bam.
Well, according to this list, Chikor's number five and Devin's number six.
The one of that goes straight to number one.
So I have Devin at number one, and then who's after, who's at number seven?
Seven is Nakatani.
Nakatani?
Yes.
Oh, I gotta leave Shakur right where he's at then.
Nakatani, Nakatani, I don't, I can't, I don't have him ahead of Shakur.
No.
Okay.
We got it from Bill Haney yourself, man.
I want to see y'all niggas fighting, man.
It's just too much talking.
You come up here and talk with us anytime motherfuckold.
This is your house, man.
You're always welcome.
And anybody who has a problem with what Bill says up here, you're welcome to combat whatever
Bill has going on.
And maybe Bill might be here when you take him.
something about it who knows but um well i want to make sure that
andre ward kishon davis uh floyd mayweather um who else is with who else is with
chakor james prince junior um you didn't answer anything about yeah timothy bradley he had a lot
to say belt to ask to all of them who
I told them
Shakur don't want to fuck with Devin
walking, riding or sliding.
He wants no parts of Devin.
Belt to ass to all of them
and I got to give the belt to Papoose
and put it on the queen, Clarissa,
because that's his job.
I wouldn't do.
But the rest of the niggas,
belt to ass is what it is.
You got it.
You got the list here.
Y'all Bill is up here.
Yeah, stamped.
Y'all heard it here first.
Bill, always a pleasure to have you.
Thank you, Bill, for coming through, Maine.
Appreciate your brother.
You kept your word, Bill.
Yeah, he always keeps up.
He always does.
He kept your word.
You'll be missing.
I don't know what you did.
Always.
Like you all the playing with JV.
Y'all are funny.
Okay, y'all, we're going to go to break.
When we return, we'll talk a little bit of basketball.
Don't go anywhere.
Welcome back.
So time to get into.
to a little bit of basketball. So there's some rumors going on, but still makes for good
conversation. So while Kyrie has made it clear, he wants to play in Dallas. It's rumored he is still
a big trade candidate for this season. Some insiders believe Dallas should trade him for draft
capital and younger talent to build around Cooper Flagg. If it reaches the point where Irving
wants to be traded, NBA insider Mark Spears believes the MAVs management would grant his wish. So
hearing this, mace, do you think it makes sense for Kyrie to stay with Dallas? Or do you think he maybe
you should consider going somewhere else.
I think it's a beautiful thing to think about trading Kyrie.
I hope for the life of me that Kyrie lands in Miami.
If Kyrie lands in Miami, we're having a whole different conversation about this East Coast.
I'm going to put it out there first.
You heard it here first.
If Kari ends up in either Miami or I'll even be happy with him going to Orlando.
though. But I really want to see Kyrie in Florida. If they're going to trade them, trade them
somewhere where it can make a really big splash in the NBA. And I think he's a lifetime talent
and he needs to be in a great marquee place where he can show that skill set off. Pause.
Yeah, I think Mason is right. I didn't even think about that. Him in Miami would be special.
Clay Thompson, I'm looking forward to seeing what he does in the regular season.
He didn't have a great preseason.
So, you know, you're Kyrie and Clay have to be 50% of what he was in Golden State in that front line.
You're talking about Bam and you're talking about the Greek freak and you're talking about Bobby Porter.
That could be potentially a really, really good team, Tim Hardaway Jr.
I like that, Mace, actually.
I really do.
But yeah, let's go.
Let Kyrie compete for a championship.
He's 34 years old.
His contract ends not this year.
The end of next year.
Let that man go and let him try to compete for a championship.
Because we don't want to see, I'm not saying he's not going to be around for a while,
but we know he's injury prone since college.
Let us use the, you know, let him use his time wisely because we're not always going to see
Kyrie Irving around.
And I would love to see him around for another four, five, six years playing that
a high level and competing at a high level.
Yeah, I agree.
I would love to see you, Kyrie.
Of course you would.
In Miami.
But at the same time,
Golden State.
No, no, no, no, no.
I didn't forget about them.
But it's also like I know like for that to happen,
like we would have to give up a lot of depth.
And that just makes me a little bit nervous
because obviously I think Eric Spolcher was a great coach
and I think he does a lot with developing players
and things like that.
But I'm just like, who would we, you know, like,
if you get Kyrie in Miami,
players will come from everywhere to want to play with that team.
When you're thinking about Janus and Kyrie and Bam and Clay.
That's why I'm like.
Don't even worry about Clayton them right now.
Don't even worry about Clayton them right now.
Kyrie, Bam, and Janice.
That's strong.
That's strong.
They can compete against anybody.
Yeah, it's super strong.
And I would like to think it's just sometimes when we put too many really top top
players in one team.
I don't know.
Like same way kind of how.
we're looking at the Sixers and I know like we've seen like they won that first game but
I just it's just meshing does it match Ariyannis and bam is like LeBron Wade and Bosch yeah I mean I'm not
against it I'm just trying to be realistic I like it I like it I think that'd be super super
draft picks give them up give them up yeah I gotta think about this Miami's not gonna get a big
draft pick anyway. I know it's not football in your lottery, but they're going to go to the
playoffs. Yeah. So they're not going to be high, high in the draft anyway. Give up your picks.
Yeah. Just hypothetically speaking, would y'all want to see him on the pistons or no? We don't like that.
No. Why not? Don't mess that up. Because then you'll be taking a basketball out of
Cade hand and putting it in Carre's hand. And I wouldn't want to do that, Paul. So I like the
idea because right now you're talking about the guard from, I forgot where you.
from that's playing for Miami right now,
that's a major upgrade to put Kyrie in that point guard position.
Damian Mitchell.
Yeah, Mitchell.
Mitchell do his thing, but that's Kyrie.
What you wanted me to do?
Yeah.
I wouldn't be mad at that actually step.
I think that Detroit's another.
Both of y'all have some great suggestions.
Detroit is actually another team that Kyrie would fit great on
because Kyrie doesn't need to be the point guard.
He let Luke take the point card position too and said,
fuck it, I go to the two.
I could do the two.
Karee can get the ball.
He's not one of them guards that has to be predominantly with the ball when he's on a team.
Also, he went to the two in James Harton, the few games that they did play with the nets.
He let James Harton run the point.
He went to the two there.
Kyrie going to get his.
So I'm not mad at that.
I don't think it would take out of what Kay Cudderham is doing.
But I think both of you all had the top two teams with Miami being one.
And I do think that the second option for me would be the Pistons.
I think that was a great take as well.
What do you think about Kyrie just since we're on the Kyrie conversation?
What do you think about Kyrie on Denver?
I don't know if that works because I said Kyrie can't play half-court offense,
but you're right.
You know what I'm saying?
Joker's kind of slow, even though Joker could pass and everything else.
It's really on Jamal Murray.
You haven't seen the Jamal Murray since the championship.
He's not been the same.
I don't know if it's injury.
anything else like that.
But we haven't seen them.
And don't get it fucked them either.
Bruce Bowen, I'm Bruce Bowen.
Bruce Brown leaves.
Colwell Pope Leaves.
These are key components.
But you know what they were thinking.
Look, we paid you.
And we paid the Joker.
Y'all are the staple.
We figured it out.
And it just hasn't been going.
I wouldn't be mad at that, Mace.
But I just think the teams that your name
would be the top two teams to go to to compete.
But I wouldn't be mad at Dan Viva.
All those are great.
takes what you guys are saying. Yeah, but if y'all want to put your genie hats on and say Kyrie
to the heat, I ain't mad at that either. So we'll see what happens. But who knows, he ultimately
could also stay in Dallas, but I know that the goal is obviously to build more around Cooper
Flagg. So we will see what happens. Okay, and this last thing, we got Ennis Cantor. So
he went on a show talking about Celtics players, shared a password to access only fans for free
in the bubble. So he said this happened with the Celtics, which was disgusting. I'm glad that I did
not do it so this is not the NBA. I don't know who did that. They were passing away this
some kind of password. So you can literally just go on and watch any only fans model you want for
free. You also, they were joking that when the players were in the bubble. I guess so. They had a
code on paper and they were passing it around and then that would get them only fans content for free,
I guess, during the bubbles. So what do you just think of him revealing this? Who paid for that?
I mean, somebody, it was not a hard thing to pay for it. But what do you just think of him?
revealing this because I think we've been saying a lot of just athletes coming out
revealing different things regarding teams what do you feel like is I guess on limits
versus off limits to share yeah I think I think the internet is is very dangerous
because sometimes you be squealing on people and you don't even know you're
squilling on people because right now let's say you put this out there some of the guys on
the team they're married or they're in serious situations and their wife or significant
and the other could just say, hey, have you ever been on only fans?
They're going to start asking these questions.
So sometimes people just having conversations
make their situation a little bit hotter than it should be.
So that's what makes the internet so dangerous.
Yeah.
Cam, thoughts.
Makes just said, the thing is telling.
You think it's all you're telling, man.
Shish is slow for...
Charlie Ward.
She's slow for...
I just can't the niggins.
Like, yeah, remember back in the bubble?
Y'all niggas was shit.
And then I'm going to say this.
This is what I will say about that.
This is what I will say about that.
Even with Mesa's saying, it's true.
Like, y'all, the significant other, whatever.
I don't know the, I don't remember the rules of the bubble.
I remember it was real tight security.
Certain people couldn't leave.
You had to stand there or whatever.
Estimulating yourself to only fans at the time.
It was the only thing.
you had, I ain't knocking it, man.
You were supposed to leave the campus.
Nobody supposed to have been able to come in.
It was COVID tests every day.
You know, that was they, you know, we older so we know,
you gotta realize for young niggas, that's their Playboy.
That's their Jet Magazine.
You know what I'm saying?
That's the RP with Cape Slay had the, the joints he used to send to the
niggas in jail.
Yeah, like, that's the-
What was the name of that shit?
You know what I'm saying?
So at the end of the day,
I'm not knocking them,
especially in the bubble I ain't knocking it.
Hell no.
Now, if y'all stealing from these young ladies
plug in their pockets,
they're trying to make some money.
So I'm a donation, man.
If anybody can afford it,
y'all niggas can afford it.
Yeah, I'm not mad at the donation
because y'all, y'all tripping with their bread.
They got sharing a password,
put it on a piece of paper.
But, yeah, we know the bubble is strict.
I'm sure more stories will come out
as more players.
Stunton, straight stunting.
Yeah, straight stunting.
Straight stunting.
Straight stunting was,
that's doing was fly.
Well, straight stunting was that?
It's good.
Good combo, y'all.
But that is all the time that we have for today.
Thank y'all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
