I'm Treasor Wilson, aka Stat Baby, along with your host, Mace, and Cam.
Killer, what's good, man?
Myrtle, what's up?
We're in a lot of white lately.
Oh, man, this is cream, pause.
Okay, my bad.
I seen Jay say that about pink one time.
I said it wasn't pink.
What was it?
Mawf.
Yeah, yeah.
You got Larry back.
Yeah, Larry back in the bag.
I got to get my colors together.
Yeah.
That need Moth?
I don't know.
You know, I'm regular...
No, that's pink.
I'm regular Crayola, Jay, the Maces of the World.
I got to get,
They color scheme, I'm not sure.
I like that.
I like that.
That's what's up.
Also, look, so Mace, just for the audience, this is behind the scene shit that goes on.
It is what it is.
We're being held to a standard to be here on time.
I just seen Mace put out a email, a flash email to everybody.
And he's with exclamation points.
Bullets.
bullets, upper class,
pardon me, higher case letters.
So this is what I want to do on TV,
and this is what's up to you, murderers, and anybody else.
Let's do this.
If you're one minute late, it's a $500 fine.
I like that.
If you're 15 minutes late, it's a $1,000 fine.
And if you're 30 minutes late, it's $1,500 per day.
I love it.
I love it.
Okay, so cool.
And no traffic can be involved.
It can't be involved.
Actually, because when you got a flight,
you can't tell them hold up.
It's traffic.
We're on live on the set.
So, you know, when somebody talking about,
come on, that clock ain't right.
We go on by the phone time.
Is that cool?
So that way, we go to everybody account on it.
I love it, Cam.
It's a goal.
I love it, yeah.
Where do the money go to, though?
They're going to charity.
So this is way the money will break down, right?
If I'm late,
Mace gets half and he splits half with the staff.
Hey, I love it.
And then if I'm, vice versa.
If me and him both late, the staff splits the money.
Are you with that?
Yeah, well, did we start today?
No.
Y'all were three minutes late today.
So he's trying to, it.
It can start tomorrow.
If you wanted, we're on TV.
It's live.
I love.
It's a deal.
I love it.
Take it once.
See, y'all got to listen to his word.
Please.
I love it.
He'll think it won't say it's a deal.
Well, look, that means it's not a deal.
So everybody, so therefore, I already see what's going on.
You see the word games.
Same thing like cream.
I never said that I agreed to it.
I said I love it.
So.
So the last word is...
I'm gonna think about it.
All right, bet.
All right, cool.
That's how you get niggas here on time.
You anybody on top?
Let me know.
Let me know when you put that to that.
But it's that involved.
I'm always here.
If you guys watch, I am always at this desk.
Oh, my goodness.
I literally always at the desk.
The rule goes for all three of us.
Oh, if it goes to everybody, I really love that idea.
I just thought it was just on, you know, me and you.
It's three.
The text was sent to everybody.
Yeah, what I'm saying is this.
We know Nick and them is never late.
We're only three.
No, Nick and them are sometime late.
I'm here that early.
Okay, I hear you.
If you're hit that early, that doesn't mean that they're late.
You just hear that earlier than the...
I mean, we throwing people under the bar.
It's just be throwing everybody under the boat.
Yeah, Nick, shout out to Nick.
I'm just flaring.
Is it a deal or no?
I don't bet, but I like the idea.
It's not a deal.
I mean, it's not a bet.
It's just, it's basically being docked.
Oh, I love that idea.
You can't say it.
No, I'm going to dock my soul.
I'm with that.
Yeah, I'm with that.
It's not a bet.
It's not a bet.
Okay.
So yes or no?
Yes, yes.
This is a deal.
Yes.
Okay, everybody.
on camera.
He's saying this is a deal.
It's not gambling, not nothing.
If you're late for work, anybody else,
they would, the doc said, yeah, you're docking,
basically docking yourself.
Can I clear?
And myself included.
Yeah.
Because I'm late too sometime, and I use traffic as an excuse.
I don't have the pictures like makes me saving pictures
in his phone for his traffic.
He said, I'm going to send this picture and say it's crazy.
I was lying.
It's like, what you're going to say?
Do you have to clarify, like,
Because if a motherfucker's five minutes late, then he'd call in and go,
I ain't coming in today that don't count, right?
That's a good one, Larry.
That's a good one.
No, that's still, it still count.
You're not.
You got to call in and say you're not going to make it before the time.
If you're late, you're late.
No, but I like that too because you may have an emergency.
I might have an emergency.
Genuinely.
Yeah, genuinely.
So let's do this now.
If you're not going to be.
This is too many.
This is true.
This is.
What is supposed to be when you're doing a billion dollars.
company which we're aspiring to be these are some of the things you need to implicate.
If you're not going to be in that day, you have to give a three-hour grace period.
That's it.
I like that.
I normally do 24 hours, but I like that.
You usually do 10 minutes.
You usually be like, yeah, you all have a great show.
I'm not going to be in.
But you've got your 24 hours, your grace period is usually...
I like 24 hours, 24 hours.
I like that too, but I'm trying to be nice for you.
If we're going to do it on up and up, that's how it should be.
All right, far.
No problem.
Bet.
That way everybody has time to make an arrangement.
Far with me.
I'll be a nice three hours because you got a hot 12 minutes.
That's emergency.
That's what I'm trying to say.
What's the rule for that?
You just forfeit the money there.
Yeah, you forfeit the money.
I bet.
I just wanted America to see, man.
Yeah, I like consistency.
Yeah, five minutes or minute, late,
1,015,500, you missed the show, 30 minutes,
and then you need 24 hours for an absence.
An absence.
I love that.
And if you don't do 24 hours, that's 500.
I love that.
Great.
And I'm in agreement.
All right, cool, I bet.
Okay.
As long as this is not a palm tree deal, because it's...
Yeah, that's what I was...
Yo, Stan, we're going to make mad money.
You don't even know.
The only problem is
is that he's going to say he ain't.
I cast on him and I know he keeps cash on.
I know it.
I know it.
You ought to rack up, B.
We'll see.
I'm here for it.
Okay.
So we're going to...
Wait, who's keeping the time?
Apple.
Okay.
I like that.
Yeah.
Come on.
Push comes to show.
Nick's there.
They're all there.
So we'll see.
Okay.
Well, we're going to start with the
fighting matches. I know we were talking about some matchups last episode. So now
Mayweather and Mani Pacchio are having a rematch being planned for September with the sphere in
Las Vegas being looked at as a possible venue. Mace. Talking about matchups, what do you think
of this one? I really, I really don't like to even talk about this. You know,
Mani Paciakial in his last outing didn't look like the Mani Paciol of old. And
So this is not something I'm looking forward to.
So I know Killer said something last time we taped
that, you know, this is not how I want to see Floyd fighting.
If you're jumping out there, jump out there.
You know, you're TBE.
You're the best ever.
You know, the money team.
I'm for it.
I'm supporting it.
I really don't like Floyd fighting.
But if you're going to fight,
it's better that you don't tarnish the legacy
and just stay going for greatness.
That's what I would say.
Like I said, when we talked about this yesterday,
I told you the fights that I would want to see.
This isn't one of the fights that I want to see.
The first one was whack.
The first one to me, you know, a lot of people that say it was past eight prom.
I didn't think it was past eight prom,
because they both was kind of active.
Of course, man, he and he, Paggart was fighting a lot.
But the first fight really wasn't a good fight.
It was kind of boring to why.
We know Floyd's skill level was superior.
Maybe I'll pack your heart.
Yeah.
If you want to revisit it.
Now, but on series, no, I didn't like the first fight.
I don't think this fight would be better than the first fight.
But if Floyd, like I said, we both agree that we don't necessarily want to see Floyd fight.
But if he's going to fight, this isn't one of the fights that I would want to see.
Would I watch it?
Yeah, I would watch it.
I'm watching any fight fight Floyd does.
But if you're asking my opinion on people who I want to see Floyd fight
at this particular time in life, Manny Pachial isn't one of them.
Okay.
So Mace, I know you use the term like tarnishing legacy.
So across all sports, how do you feel about people who unretired?
Do you automatically see that as like you're tarnishing your legacy?
Or do you think that there are some exceptions?
No, I think once you retire, there's a separation of the greatest period of your life.
And then there's this continuance.
It's almost like a continuance.
It's like seeing Jordan out there in 45.
We know that's not 23, but we're happy to see them playing.
But when it comes to things such as this, I'm not sure of how this goes.
I know Father Tom catches up to everybody, and I just don't want to see,
and that's my own concern.
This has nothing to do with Floyd.
This is no shot against him.
I just don't, I don't want to see him lose at this time in his life where everything else
that people are saying.
I just think that would tarnish the legacy of, you know, money, me, weather, you know what
I'm saying?
That's the Floyd that I want to remember, you know what I'm saying?
So when situations happened, just like we saw with Devin Haney, right?
At one time, Devon Haney was like, he's going to be the next Floyd.
That one fight kind of shifted everything, right?
he could still get to that place where it's like, you know, this is a dominant fighter,
this is an undisputed fighter, but certain criteria just go out the window.
Unless he stopped, if he stops Ryan Garcia in a rematch, then you could bring back that legacy.
But I think as of right now, the same with Floyd.
I wouldn't want to see him lose that.
Just to add on what you're saying, before I answer your exact question,
it's hard for the Devin Haney situation
because like you said,
you can't unsee what you see.
But nigger were in Roy's.
We don't know what else he was on.
So it's like, damn, man, we've seen that.
But, you know,
I remember we jumped the nigger.
The nigger was on meth
and he was like, why y'all keep hitting me?
It was like 14 niggas in them.
He was like, why y'all keep hitting me, though?
Like, he didn't really feel.
He didn't feel nothing, you know?
I know the next morning you woke up crazy.
It wasn't like we just rarely jumped in a nigga.
We was in the Sony studio in New York,
and some nigga just came in there high
and jumped on my engineer.
And we didn't even notice things.
Everybody in the studios hitting the nigga,
and he's just like, yeah, why are you hitting me?
We don't know what effect them steroids
or whatever drugs you want.
But like May says, it's hard to see it,
but I don't want to hold that against Devin either,
especially as good as he looked against Norman.
Back to your original question stat
in the way Mason said, I thought what you used was Jordan was a great way to put it because
it depends on when you retire, right?
So when Jordan retires after the first time, we're excited to see him come back because not only
did he come back, he came back and won three chips.
And you're like, you know, when you're retiring in your prom and don't wait too long to come
back, I don't think there's nothing wrong with that.
Then when he retired again, I didn't want to see him with the Wizards.
I didn't mind to retire 45, come back, switched to the 23, Jordan.
I was good with that.
They won three chips after that,
but I didn't want to see the wizard join.
Even though his numbers with the Wizards
is better than some niggas in the NBA number,
numbers as career-wise.
I'm just saying it wasn't the joint
and I was used to.
Same thing with Floyd, right?
Floyd retired.
Their Mark has called him out.
I'm looking like, oh, all right?
Bet.
I ain't doing nothing.
I'll come fuck him up real quick,
but it was a good time.
I'm not saying it's not a good time in Floyd life now.
I don't want to put his birth certificate
in front of his.
skills and everything else, but Mesa is right.
Five a time catches up to somebody eventually.
It just hasn't caught up to him yet.
I hope it doesn't catch up to him anytime soon.
I'm definitely rooting for him.
But, you know, when he came back to fight Marquez,
it wasn't even like no thought with Floyd want to lose.
It was like, okay, this nigga's still kind of in his prime.
So I think about when you're retiring, how long you retire for,
and when do you come back to answer your question, stat, about exactly.
does it tarnish your legacy when you try to come back.
Especially if you try to come back,
and I'm not saying, Floyd,
I'm just saying people in January,
when you need money,
it looks crazy.
You know what I'm saying?
I think that's when it's really bad
when you're saying,
damn, I got to do this for this.
Because we've seen people in situations
where they come back and do things for money,
and you can tell us for the money.
It's not really for the love.
And I'm not talking about Floyd,
but we're just talking about athletes across the board you said.
Okay.
Now on to basketball.
So the Spurs beat the Pistons last night, 114 to 103.
So Mace, does this Pistons loss cause any concern for you or you think it's all good
because they're first in the east?
I think when you think of this Piston loss,
there is nothing to really get upset about.
I mean, Wembe, this could be potentially the NBA finals, right?
You're looking at Wembe, who is 7.4.
I don't expect them to beat Wemby.
I don't expect them to beat them in a series, but if they're facing anybody else, they have a great chance because they match up so well with everybody else in the West to my understanding, especially if it came down to it in a seven-game series.
So when it comes to this type of game of them losing, I don't put much cash in to it because I know that this San Antonio team is serious, but also this Detroit team is serious.
And that's just one game, you know?
Now, you want to get these games because sometimes you build an equity in your opponent's mind for the future.
But right now, it's nothing to worry about.
They're number one in the east.
I wouldn't put too much stock into them losing this game.
But, you know, when you do play these games, you got to realize it's an East Coast team against the West Coast team.
So I'm not saying this will be a championship matchup, but potentially, you know,
We're just talking about who's leading in their conferences.
So you want to make sure that you measure your team by somebody you could potentially play in the finals.
Like I says, it's still early.
We don't know if this is a finals matchup.
But just looking at the box score, I don't think it's a lot to take into this.
When you think about this, right, we're looking at Tobias Harris, one for six, four points.
When we're looking at even Kay Cunningham, right, he's not going to have this shooting night again.
He had 15 points on 5 for 26 shooting.
He missed 21 shots.
Kay's not going to miss 21 shots every night.
Overall, it didn't look like the Pistons played good.
Derren had a good game.
Outside of that, I don't think anybody else with the Pistons had a good game.
So not to be good super league blown out.
You lose by 11 points knowing that your star player missed 21 shots.
Tobias Harris, that doesn't have for double-digit.
I wouldn't put a lot of stock into it,
but I'm not going to sit here and brush the game off
like you shouldn't measure what the spurs have to bring to the table
for a possible NBA final show there.
So since we're measuring what the spurs can bring to the table, Mace,
in your opinion, do you think that the spurs are like the biggest threat
in the NBA right now?
Are you not ready to say that?
Is there another team that comes to mind?
What do you think?
I think these two teams, along with Boston,
are the biggest ops of them.
NBA right now. You got to look at Boston as that team because you just don't know what this
looks like when Tatum comes back, right? Paul's, you put Tatum in that lineup and they're already
second in the east where they are. They number one? You know, you got to start asking these
questions. So this is, this is the NBA that I love when you can't really tell who's coming out of the
east. You can't really tell who's coming out of the West because OKC is right there. But then you got
OKC against San Antonio, which is going to grow to be a great rivalry.
And I'm looking forward to it.
So, you know, I'm not sure who's the biggest op, but I'll put those three teams.
And it's funny how with the surgence of Wembe, we're not talking about OKC as much.
And I know they got a lot of injuries and things like that going on.
But this is exciting for the NBA.
And repeat it one more time to that?
Yeah, basically, do you think the Spurs are the biggest threat in the NBA right now?
They could be.
Are they?
I'm not sure.
Think about this, right?
Now, Wemby Dolo, yes, he's the biggest threat in the NBA.
So you would probably say the Spurs should be a threat when I say Wembe,
but it's a team sport we've seen certain teams.
I want to say handle the Spurs, but, you know, beat them convincingly this year.
I'm still saying to me, I like for experience-wise,
now that we're getting down to the nitty-gritty,
we'll just stick in the west, right?
I think the Spurs are the biggest threat
that without experience.
You know, they don't have experience
as far as playoff experience is concerned,
and you don't get experience until you play.
So hopefully we'll see how that goes, how they turn out.
Same thing like with LeBron.
He said with LeBron.
He's like, damn, he's going to have a hard time with the pistons, man, for the next few years.
But he ended up overcoming that eventually.
Mace mentioned how OKC is banged up and Shay been out.
He's been hurt.
And they're still, number one.
So they don't have their whole team just about this year.
Jay Duff wasn't played.
He missed like the first half of many games, 12, 13, 14 games.
Shea is out.
Dork has been out.
Injuries across the board and they're still in first place.
You know, it was a time where it looked like the thunder was going for the record of going to state.
What the Bulls once had had going state?
There was like 21 or 22 or like three or something.
It was something crazy.
Pardon me if I get it wrong.
But it was like, oh, these things might only lose about six, seven games this year.
But injuries happen.
But I think that OKC is still the biggest threat once they get their team back.
Because you can sit there and say if you're injured, right?
or hurt.
You know, I got to rush back.
I want to make sure I'm 100%
instead of 75% or 80%.
Because we still got to jump on these
niggas and we're not even playing.
So I don't think there's nobody right now.
I had an OKC just because they still have
their same team in place
and the experience of winning the championship last year.
Now, I do like Denver.
I think that Houston,
after watching them play against the next other day,
I think they're in real, real need.
of a point guard.
I didn't think that they needed
a, like, Florida general point guard
because I like aiming.
I really do.
But when I seen them lose an 18-point lead
in the fourth quarter to the Knicks,
it looked like pandemonium
and nobody was really running their offense.
To let the Knicks come back from 18 points,
down with less than 10 minutes left,
I didn't like it.
And I actually watched it.
So I was like, yo, they need somebody
when things get out to skilter to make sure that they run the office.
Of course, their size is tremendous.
Pause.
When you're sitting there thinking about Debroy Parker's Shugan, KD,
even eight men at the point six, seven, I was like, yo, these niggas is big, pause.
But then seeing them be erratic and lose that lead,
they need somebody who's going to run that office.
I think that's the only piece missing from Houston.
And we'll see if Van Fleet makes it back this year to help them out and do that.
Okay, and then another team, let's actually talk about the Nuggets.
So the other day versus the Warriors, Yokic got 35, 20, and 12,
but the Nuggets still lost the Warriors 128 to 117.
So do you have any concern for the Nuggets?
Because I know we still think of them as this dominant team in which they are,
but do any concerns come to mind when you think about them as a whole?
Yes, a lot of concerns come with the Nuggets
because you got Jokka playing so brilliantly.
you think they should be more dominant than they are, right?
Normally when you got a big man that's dominant,
your team normally dominates that conference, right?
Because he imposes his will on every other aspect.
But what I'm starting to figure out about joker is that he's dominant on offense.
He's not dominant on defense, right?
So normally when you got a big man as that dominant,
he's, you know, changing shots.
He's blocking shots.
When we look at Joko, we're looking at points, rebounds, and exists.
We're not looking at steals or blocks from that nature.
And that's why I don't think of that team is that.
Now, if you look at the question, what was your question again?
Yeah, basically, do the Nuggets bring you any worries?
Yeah, they don't bring me any worries.
worries because anybody on the West Coast could beat them, even though they have all of the necessary
pieces that win a championship is just something that hasn't collectively clicked.
And it seemed like the coach that they had the first time when they won the championship,
he was able to get something different out of them, which is the defense side.
And you can only get that from a great leader that motivate people to play.
so I am not concerned about Denver as I think
see I'm and I'm just curious to know not debate Mace on this
but see how many steals joker averages
because they got the steals up there one day and I'm like this thing is getting
steals too is crazy um as far as
um and see what place he is in steals because he's like a top two
in assistant he's a his stats are just amazing um
To answer this question, pardon I'm taking a minute
because I'm thinking,
because Denver could be a threat.
You know, they got Bruce Brown back,
they got Tim Hardaway Jr. coming off the bench.
Brown has played decent.
Bron, not Brown,
Brown, however he pronounced his last name.
And we see what the joke is doing.
Jamal Murray, we've seen flashes of
Jamal Murray almost from the bubble this year,
certain times this year.
You know, this is first year,
amazingly, making an all-star team.
I never even paid attention
that Jamar Murray didn't ever make an all-star team.
Stunk it up, but he made it.
I like Denver, but I'm in agreement with Mace.
It's something not there.
And I don't know if it's the coach.
If the coach Mike Brown is going,
and maybe that was the glue to make the win.
He was a hard-nosed coach, a lot of yelling, a lot of screaming.
I don't think the Joker necessarily cared for him.
I think that's part of the reason why he's not coaching there now.
But that's what they needed to win.
And I'm not sure if this coach has the toughness to say,
yo, look, let's go, motherfuckers.
We have everything we need to win.
We have a three-time league MVP.
We have two All-Stars.
We have a good bench.
What do we have to win?
But I don't know.
It's just something there that's not letting me say
that I'm going to look at Denver this year.
I like them.
I actually love watching them play very exciting team.
But when you lose the Golden State with no stuff curry,
that's a problem.
That's a problem.
And then he's at 1.4 steals per game,
but he's also tied with a handful of people.
Right, okay.
I was just one.
They showed the stats at the bottom of the screen number there.
I was just amazed that he's like averaging.
And he averaged under 1% for a block.
I mean, one block of game.
So that's what I'm talking about.
Yeah.
Okay, now moving on to LeBron.
So he spoke on his relationship with,
Jalen Brown and said, our relationship has been pretty respectful.
Besides that shit he said about brawny at Summer League, but other than that, we've been
all right.
I think he went on social media and said something about it.
It's all good.
So are you shocked that LeBron, I mean, I know he was asked about his relationship, but are
you shocked that he kind of held onto that and brought that up in conversation?
And what did you think of his answer?
I think when it comes to Bron, he, as a father, he should be upset that you speak about
a person's child.
anybody's going to be upset when you talk about their child, I think, I mean, for the most part.
But what he said, right?
What he said is that what he was supposed to say?
Sometimes we got to look at that as well.
Like if I'm going to have a child that's rapping, right?
Like me as a rapper, known as a rapper, if I'm going to have a child that's rapping,
shouldn't he be good?
Right?
You know, well, why let them go out there?
Because you know the level that we're holding them to.
You know the expertise we're holding them too.
And we would think you got studios, you got beatmakers, you got songwriters.
You could have made them good, right?
That's what somebody would be telling me.
And I think that's the criteria that people are weighing against LeBron.
And when you got somebody like Jalen Brown, I like people that tell the truth.
I think that shakes the coach up.
Like, even on this show, right?
People, people love the show because we tell the truth.
People like Kim, because Cam is saying exactly what most guys want to say,
and they're not in a position where they could say it.
So I really like patriotic people.
I like people that stand on what they say.
This is what I meant.
You don't have to agree with it, but that's what I said.
People are like, yo, did you say that about me?
I said I said a little bit more than that, but that's the part they caught.
Yeah, I did say it.
Yeah, as a father, absolutely.
You know, that's how you're going to feel, but I thought you put it correctly.
Look, especially music, right?
Let's just use music as you said.
You got to have the best son in the world as a daughter, as a rapper,
and somebody's still going to say they trash.
That's just the way it go, yo.
You can't like everything for everybody.
so I get LeBron's a father.
But I will say this to Jalen Brown's defense.
He didn't do an interview.
They did some foul shit and zoom the camera on him sitting in that,
if I remember correctly, he was sitting courtside,
having a convo with somebody and niggas is there reen lips, pause.
With his girl at the time.
It was literally with his girl at the time.
Right, you know what I'm saying?
So I can't really get mad at Jalen Brown.
If he just think he's chilling with his girl having a conversation
watching somebody play,
not necessarily right now have to even meet Bernie.
It could have been anybody.
Like, yo, this niggas is trash.
And now they sound biting it because I'm having,
do I got to be like this with my girl at the game?
You know what I'm saying?
Because you see NBA players doing like this.
They're like, yo, I call you.
Because they know niggas is reading lips.
I don't like that.
I don't like that.
And to me, I wouldn't be mad at Jalen Brown
if I was Braun.
And I can't tell Brian, he's a father.
Of course you're going to feel like that.
I wouldn't be mad because it ain't like he was on a rampage.
He was sitting with his girl just having a little convoy.
You know what I'm saying?
That's how he felt.
That's like he felt.
There's people who are going to say bra on his trash,
which we know is the furthest thing from the truth.
But you got niggas who love Jordan.
Like, a nigga ain't shit.
That's just basketball.
Yeah, basketball talk.
Yeah, exactly.
But I don't like the fact that a nigger can sit courtside,
have a conversation.
The camera zooms in.
They put the,
they put,
turn the mic up from the camera
all this technology
where you can hear
exactly what he's saying.
So I wouldn't be mad
but just to let you know
the person like LeBron
who's holding on this shit like that.
You get what I'm saying?
Because this was the summer league
but last summer,
was this two summers ago or last summer?
Two summers.
That was two summers.
This is second year.
Right. This was two, this was two, this was two,
this was two thousand twenty four some of.
Yeah.
And LeBron just made that comment in two thousand,
26. Yeah.
That's like, you know, they, he's still on his mind.
Yeah, it's still on his mind.
And shout out to kids who,
who overachieve and do more than what their dad did, right?
Because even if you think about music,
I was thinking why you was talking like a Peter Guns
and a Corey Guns.
Like, Corey Guns is like way more lyrical.
than his dad.
But it or Stefan Curry.
Now when you see him way more lethal and shooting than,
then his dad, Dale Curry.
You kind of want to see that.
Like that's, I think that's a phenomenal.
Jalen Brunson too.
Jalen Brunson.
And I want to give shout-outs to people that did that
because when your dad is great or your dad has received such a level,
it's kind of almost not impossible,
but you got to be real special to do greater than your dad did.
And especially when they reached a high level.
So shout out to all of the kids around the world that has done that.
I even saw Dee Brown daughter playing one time.
I was like, yo, this girl is good.
The last name was Brown.
I did some research.
I'm like, man, that's Dee Brown daughter.
I was bugging out about that.
Right.
that I just thought about between Anthony Edwards and Jalen Johnson after the All-Star Games.
So basically, Ant Man was telling Jalen, I can't wait to come home.
He said, y'all got so many wings.
And it looked like he also said something about Kaminga because we know he just got traded to the Hawks.
So people are interpreting that as, you know, Ant Man eventually wants to play for the Hawks.
Like he might not see Minnesota as a long-term thing, even though, of course, he would say otherwise.
But after kind of seeing that secret conversation being exposed to the world, what are your thoughts on that?
man if you brought ant man to Atlanta it would be oh man that would be like the biggest thing since
michael vick was in in Atlanta it would be that kind of pandemonium because airman is beloved in
Atlanta growing up there playing basketball there and sometimes even though you're from a city the city
don't really love you like that but ant man is super beloved I mean in all the a you circuit
even I went to an OTE game
and, you know, they were talking about
Ant Man there.
It's like everywhere you go,
people are cheering for them from Atlanta.
So that would be crazy.
That would be bigger than, I'm trying to think,
when Mark Jackson was at the Knicks
and he's from there.
You could use Derek Rose.
Yeah, Derek Rose.
It would be just like that.
Derek Rose in Chicago.
So that's a great one.
This is more air hustling.
It's the same thing I'm talking about.
That shit you're talking about.
I've seen that shit too.
And we're like this.
Yo, niggas, this.
But he was covering his mouth.
Yes.
He's like, yo.
Y'all got a comming it, man.
I got some wings out there.
And I'm like, yo, this is the air hustling we just was talking about last take with
Braun and Brony and Jalen Brown.
These nicks, these camera men, man.
Y'all niggas might as well just wait to y'all get in your car to go talk, man.
because at the end of the day,
these niggas is waiting for y'all to say anything.
Yeah, I mean, you know, you can tell us an ATL nigger.
You know what I'm saying?
You can tell by his attitude the way he talked, you know,
he would be very much embraced, you know.
Not just ATL, he got that shit with him.
Like, he got an attitude, like, I'm not really here to be nobody friend.
I'm here to win.
Even if he's, like, out after the game, cool with niggas,
you know, I see him All-Star game.
You know, B.C. Wimby set it off and get competitive.
But when it was time, Antman was in his bag.
He had no respect for nobody.
Older, younger, same age, nothing.
He's putting people in the mix, shooting fast break.
I think he wants to be one of them niggers.
And I don't think he wants to use face of the league.
He may be the face of the league, whether he wants to or not.
We'll see if that happens.
But I just think he wants to be seen as one of them niggas,
the Michael Joy is the Kobe Brue.
of the world.
The Shacks.
I'm talking about dominant players,
not necessarily position-wise.
So I just think
that he's that good.
Atlanta, it might be crazy.
And I think he'll play good in Atlanta.
I think he'll play good.
Like, to me, New York players
wouldn't play good in New York.
It's just a lot going on in New York.
Stepharmour did good.
Raj Strickland did decent.
Mark Jackson had an exceptional career in New York.
But it is an always.
He's working out.
You know, we're looking at Avarado.
We'll see how that works.
He's playing real decent for the Knicks so far.
But I'm talking about being that nigger.
It's not easy, man.
It's not easy.
But Atlanta, to me, murder, you've been down here for a minute.
It just seems more loose.
When I say that, like, it seems more like, yo,
let's say he going to the game, he got 40 niggas.
Like, yo, just let them in.
No metal detector.
You can't do that at the guard.
Yeah, you can't do that.
You can't just be like yours all 40.
It seems like if you pull up to arena with 47, 50s.
These niggas were Ant Man, they gonna figure it out.
They're gonna pull chairs up.
Like, I remember shout to my nigga Larry
who's here today.
We went to the Aces game.
I said, my nigga in Larry got some pull, man.
I said, Larry, I thought we was getting court-side seats.
It wasn't no more seats.
They bought out two chairs from the back
and put them shit on the court.
You know what I'm saying?
That's the type of vibe that I believe.
Shout to the Aces for looking out for that, too.
That'll go on.
You might have beach chairs on the side of the fucking.
Yeah.
That's the only thing.
If he plays in Atlanta, it would definitely probably be a security risk.
Because there's too many people.
Like, you got your AU coaches.
You got your teammates.
You got baddies.
You got, right?
You got this stripping conditioning.
You got family.
You're already up there.
You're already up there with that.
You're just thinking three people each category.
You're already up to about 15.
18 people.
But when you make it feel like a homecoming, you play better too.
Like, that's how I would see it.
Yeah, all your people coming up.
But until it's a problem, though, right?
Because what happens is personnel start thinking,
they're you.
Like, you got people that probably work for us that go somewhere and they talk.
And when we're in the hood, right?
And they start, yo, I'm doing this for killer right now.
We need 84.
We need 84 badges right now.
You need 84 badges.
You're in the garden.
I don't have 84 badges.
I got eight.
Then they didn't stomp the guy out.
You know, they'd beat the man up, you know?
That happened.
Listen, that's a great example.
Like, as somebody, this is a long time ago.
I was doing business with my man Spence.
Shout to my man, my man.
I'm going to say everybody's naming this because it's old.
Shout to my man Spence, Compton's Bios Club.
He used to work for LRG.
So I used to do some business from about 15, 20 years ago.
And I did a couple of shows, parties for them or whatever.
And when I would leave, my DJ Mosticky would call him the next day, like,
yo, send me some shit, Dick.
Pause, you know, Dick is like old-school slang in Harlem, so pause that.
For real?
He used to call the nigger from LRG, be like, yo, send me some clothes.
And he's like, no.
And then he's like, you're a bitch-ass nigga, fuck you, da, da.
I'm like, yeah, we...
And he called me like, Kim, your DJ's wow.
And I'm like, yo, Mo, what's something?
He's like, suck-ass, niggas, he's going to send me some shit.
Ain't send me no shit.
I said, Mo, he doesn't work for you.
He came to hire me to do something for them, and you were DJing.
You got paid, that's the end of it.
I'm saying, Dick, he got all them clothes and shit, you know what I'm saying?
He could send a nigger son.
Then we goes to another party, and he does the same thing.
Yo, you're gonna go take.
You're going to go tell killing all that shit.
You're a sucker ass.
I'm like, yo.
So you're right.
Sometimes entourage puts themselves in a position
to think that they should get the stuff that the artist, the athlete,
or whoever is getting.
So sometimes it could be a headache.
Yeah.
And then the guy who trained you that think he made you who you are, right?
So now he got his own criteria for what they should be doing for him.
And it just could become a lot.
That is fair.
we'll add though to this conversation and even though like we said it's ear hustling and they just
really all up in their business trying to get whatever sound bites they can get when he said i can't
wait to come back to ATL i literally was just thinking he he met he can't wait to go play back in the city
did you get a little day cool you're like you said like it's kind of a homecoming but we're just
going to put it out there that it's a safe homecoming and nothing's going to happen yeah it's a safe
homecum he gets some wings and whatever and then be out the next day and go to the next game so
i'll add to it i'll tell you one didas will love it
I'll tell you one thing.
And this is beautiful ladies out there, beautiful city, period.
It might be the coldest place in the country.
That shit is cold out there, bro.
That Minneapolis shit is a different type of cold, my nigga.
You gotta be built different.
I've never seen a city.
I've been a lot of places.
I've never seen a city where the sidewalks are inside.
They got this shit called skywalks above the sky, above the sky,
above the sidewalk, it's a skywalk.
So when it's cold, you can walk through there
so you don't have to walk outside.
That's how cold it is.
They got an inside sidewalk.
That's crazy.
Yeah, it is.
Yeah, I'm not made for the cold.
I love y'all.
He looked really good, man.
Sexy ladies, anything, man.
So much love.
Okay, real quick before we go to break,
because I want to revisit just a part of what LeBron's had to say about
Dalen Brown.
So obviously we saw LeBron's frustrations,
and then, Mace, you brought up, you know,
he was talking about somebody's kid.
So in terms of respect, right, what are some situations where you feel like you can't forgive or move on from someone's critiques?
Because even like up here, you know, we talk about athletes and we see that some do get offended.
So in what terms and cases do you feel like, yeah, like that's kind of non-negotiable?
I'm going to tell you a time that was really, that really used to bother me.
There was a guy up at, was it, Hot 97 or Power 105?
Which one is Shalemaine on?
That's 5.
Yeah.
So it seemed like every time something came up,
Shalemine would just talk about my name, like just go in a negative direction.
I didn't know what was the connection that we had or where our paths crossed or what happened,
but it just seemed like he always had a negative take about me.
And it was something I remembered even when I started doing journalism.
So when I hear people say certain things about me, I kind of try to remember that same thing.
Like, I never met this guy.
I never, you know, I don't think we've crossed paths.
I don't think I know anybody that he knows, but every time.
And I think it's possible for you to just not like somebody.
So I remember one time I called DJ Envy, and I was like, yo, if somebody's consistently talking about you.
And at that time, I had no music out.
You know, I had nothing out for you to keep talking about me.
It's when you personally make it your business to tear somebody down.
That's when it's a problem.
Does that make sense to you?
Yeah, it does.
Like, you're personally making it your business.
You're going out of your way.
This person is not on a radar.
They're not doing anything in the public side, you know, at that point.
That merits.
the number one show in the country to be talking about this person, right?
When you're hot, you talk about things that's hot.
If they're not hot, you shouldn't even be talking about it because it's not relevant to the show.
And I would sit there and be like, man, why is this guy, why does this guy just keep talking about me?
So I think that's when it's wrong.
When you're consistently hopping on a person, like you're making it your business.
It's almost like when Ken was talking about Ben Simmons, right?
And Ben Simmons starts saying he got mental illness or whatever he's saying.
We begin to go off of that subject for that particular case, right?
Because you don't want it to feel like you're just constantly standing on a person
that has nothing to do with what you're talking about.
And they're not, it doesn't merit the energy that you're giving it.
So that's what I would say.
When's it going too far, the exact question?
Basically, yeah, when you really can't forgive or move on.
But I forgot it.
It wasn't something I held on to.
Yeah.
But it's still something that you're just like, okay, it couldn't.
No, it taught me a lesson.
It taught me a lesson.
So even when I'm up here, like, so let's take it, for example.
That's why when we was talking about Shakurah last time,
I kept giving those disclaimers.
Why?
Because you don't want somebody to feel like you're just taking your place.
And because you have all of these people that listen to you and you're focusing in on me in a negative way, that's not the way to use a platform.
That's not good journalism.
When do you, now exactly what's the question?
So I can answer correct?
Yeah.
So when are situations where you feel like you can't forgive or move on from someone's particular critiques when you're kind of like, okay, I either have to address it or it's just like, bro, why do you keep saying something?
Outside of murder, I don't forget.
I don't care what it is.
And he really forgave me, but I'm just saying, I just really can.
I don't really, I don't really do the backtracker like that.
I don't mean I got a problem with you.
But I'm sitting there trying to think, like, maybe my nigger, God bless the dad,
HUD me and HUD wasn't speaking, we spoke again.
This is very rare for me.
I mean, I don't know. It don't take a lot. That's what I'm trying to say.
It don't take a lot to be gone forever.
It don't take a lot to be gone forever.
Yeah, for me, that's why I'm like, across the line. I'm like,
it could be a little something for me. It's just over. I look for shit.
I look for shit to get you out my life.
Coughed the wrong way.
Like, like, don't pay me back $62.
62 killer?
I don't know you like that.
It don't take a lot.
Like, I really, really just be like, good.
I don't have to speak to you no more.
I'm an introvert.
You an introvert?
Sometimes, most of the time.
I'm a, what's the opposite of the introvert?
Extrovert.
Extrovert.
I don't want to say ultravert.
I don't say the wrong thing.
I'm an ultravert when I got to be.
I spend a lot of time home calculating by myself on my couch,
just being thinking about calculating on the next thing.
Scheming, whether it's money, whether it's get back,
whether it's property, whatever.
I just spend a lot of times by myself.
And then with that time I spend by myself,
myself, I try to go execute it in the world.
But it don't really take a lot for me, sad.
So that's why when you, like, when is somebody going too far,
somebody stepped on my sneakers, you went too far.
I'm just looking for things not to talk to people.
And, of course, I'm exaggerating, but it don't take a lot for me.
Okay, so I have a specific question because it's not similar,
but it kind of is and it kind of isn't.
So, like, obviously, you, not obviously, for those who don't know,
You made a post the other day, might have been yesterday.
You said, you know, you just be trying to go home and go to work.
For those who don't know, you know, there was a show who brought, like,
your Cam's name was brought up for like a potential,
and I can't even say potential, just hypothetical podcaster, rapper, boxing match.
So like, when do you decide, like, do I say something or like, you don't?
Like, so for more context, I don't even know of Macy.
Yeah.
Who are you talking about?
So basically on Instagram, shout out to the show.
I don't have no problem with the guy.
Shout out to Shannon Schott and Ocho Cinco.
And I guess Ocho Sinko is seeing the fights over the weekend.
He's like, I want to get in there and box.
I want to fight somebody from another podcast.
And Shannon Shaw was, to the Sharmster, he's like,
you're on your own with that.
He's like, no, I'm high.
I want to fight.
We got out of the podcast, Boxing Olympics.
So Shannon Sharp said,
who you want to fight?
Somebody from it is what it is.
And he was like, man, it don't matter who it is.
It don't matter.
Then Shenzhou was like Kemp.
And he's like, I don't know, KAM don't box.
This is what Chad Orchel said.
Then they went on to Kemp Newton.
But what happened is, with Stats talking about is
I posted the clip and into my caption,
I said, I just tried to go to work and go home.
But I showed Chad getting knocked out in the boxing.
Yeah, because he said he wanted the boxing shit,
but then we seen the nigga,
then he got clean with a right hand and went down.
He almost did, like, shout to my man, Zab Judah,
but remember Zab got up and talked to the rough shit?
He got knocked out and just a weird shit saying,
no, no, I didn't get knocked out.
So shout to chat and, you know, appreciate the love.
But I had to post that when he was saying
he wanted to fight of a podcast,
boxers on podcast.
That's interesting.
Because even that's something, right?
Like, so how you ask a question has a lot to do with the answer you get, right?
So even something like that, just the way you ask the question makes it go in that
direction.
So if you're not on that time, you don't have to answer the question like that.
I'm really trying to study, what's his name, Dick Vattel.
Like, he always said good stuff about people and people loved them.
And he was still entertaining.
I think when it comes to black media that people think the only way to make real rounds
is to say negative about people or to put people in a negative light.
And I think we really got to grow in that area.
Not to become so super positive, but become innovative, right?
But figure out something that other people haven't figured out.
That's what I'm really working on.
Because I don't want to just take the same theme that everybody else takes.
Like, be goofy, be stupid, or say something that you, everybody know you're trolling, and everybody
know it's not true just to get clicks.
I remember Killer told me that one time.
He said, people know if you're telling the truth or not.
People know this.
And I think that's the part that people have to develop a new sound, just like in music.
You need a new sound.
Well, you know, it'd be dope.
Yeah.
If you do something with only positive shit, it's all positive.
I'm not talking about this show or anything.
I'm talking about a page, a social media show.
Because if you think about anything, and I talked about this years ago, I don't know if it was this show or what I was just talking to somebody.
This is not really nothing new.
And I'm not talking about talking about talking about people.
I'm talking about delivering bad news first.
Yeah.
So if you watch the news, they see.
start off with a fire happened or two people got shot.
Yeah.
Or downtown there was a stabbing on the train.
They don't, then towards the end of the show, like, oh, a donation was given for so-and-so.
They start off with, you know what I'm saying?
At the end of the show.
Three helicopters crashed into each other.
Yeah, then at the end of the show, they may give five minutes of, well, did you know
what happened downtown the day?
The teacher gave to homeless this stuff.
They don't never start with anything good.
You think about, let's say, for instance, right,
and I ask that, I'm just asking
because I would like to know.
If it's some gossip shit going on on social media
and you're like, everybody's talking about it,
where do you go to find it?
The first place you were going to.
Like to find gossip?
Like some shit going on in every,
I'm just asking, some shit going on,
you ain't hear about it yet.
Let's just say, for instance, right?
Let's just use an example, right?
Mason Cam is beefing.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
And everybody's talking about it.
Where would you go to try and find information if it's not Google?
Me personally, I look at Twitter first.
Right.
Then I'm going to check Shade Room because Shade Room got everyone talking.
The Shade Room.
That's what I was exactly.
I was going to say TMG.
Yeah, but that's what I was looking from.
Unfortunately, because I really know.
The Shade Room.
It's called the Shade Room.
They put up everything negative about everybody, but they do it tastefully.
So they try to do it tastefully with the wording.
Exactly with the wording.
You know what I'm saying?
But they.
got 30, 40 million followers.
Because that's the first place I'm going.
I wonder if I'm going to ask.
He said all this is say that's where he's going.
No, because I want to know that may have a different outlet for me.
That's why I want to know where she would go.
Yeah.
But that's the point.
You want to find out what's going on with some bullshit.
The first place you go is some shit called the Shade Room.
Shout to Shave Room.
You know what I'm saying?
Ball Alert, Hollywood, Shown.
All right.
Shout to all the platforms.
But what I'm saying is it's all beef.
It's all part.
And I'm not saying they don't give people some shout out
where they wear clothes and this, that and third.
But if you want to know what some shit is popping off,
that's the new news.
But that's to your point.
They're using people's problems and negative
to promote what they have going on.
I'm not gonna look into that.
That would be a good show.
Right.
Just all positive shit.
But no knock to the shaving ball or anything.
I respect the ground and the hustle,
but I'm just saying that's the outlet.
black people.
We're waiting to go see.
I'm still throwing a little shade to the shape room.
Because there's just certain things like, who wore it better?
And then it's like a bad picture of somebody purposefully and then like a good, like stuff
like that, the whole comparison.
Yeah, we don't got to do all that.
That's what I'm talking about.
When the news is rigged, it's not good, especially when they come from black people.
Because you already know what it feels like to be on the opposite side of rig news, right?
So you definitely don't need that the second time.
you got it the first time.
And you know what?
That's a great point.
I like that point you just made
because one time I had this,
I forget what,
it was crazy though,
this jacket,
and I had bought my girlfriend
at the time one.
And we didn't wear it the same time
we wore it separately,
but when we broke up,
they put us both in it and said,
who wore it better?
And it was like a year
or two.
A year or two.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
Who wore it better?
And I'm like,
I bought both of them.
Who wore it better or not?
But they waited until a breakup to put that up there.
So that was a great point that you just made.
That's not even fair.
Good convoy.
But we got to go to break.
We're going to discuss the NBA's anti-taking rules that they confirmed.
We'll be right back.
You can't get paid.
The earth this big.
You're worthless kids.
You know the rest.
That's life, nigger.
Life, nigger.
That's life, nick.
Welcome back. Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day tonight. The Knicks will play the Cavs.
Underdog has James Harden at 18 and a half points. Do you have them higher, lower mace?
Who they're playing again? The Knicks. Cows of Knicks.
I'm going higher. This is a time when underdog is going to get it right. You know, they're off and make these bets because they know they know something that we don't know a lot of times.
but I'm going to go with higher.
This is a goody.
I'm going to go higher too,
but I'm really excited for this game.
This is a real good touch for the Knicks
because, you know, you hear the rumblings and say,
Cleveland may be the new favorite in the east.
The Knicks are saying,
we're going to make a strong run.
This is a really great game,
and I'm going to go higher to answer the question,
but I'm looking forward to this game tonight.
Okay, and Donovan Mitchell's at 26.5 points.
Do you have a higher, lower camp?
No higher.
Yeah, like we're saying, we know this is an important game.
We already know that Detroit has spanked, paused the Knicks every time they get a chance to.
And now the Knicks cannot afford to lose the calves.
But I think Donovan Mitchell gets it done and I'm going to go higher.
Okay.
And Jalen Brunson's at 26 and a half points.
Do you have a higher lower Mace?
I'm going higher on this as well because like I said, this is a, this is a,
a real match that they have to win. The Knicks have to win this. Cleveland can lose this game,
but the Knicks have to win this game. I think in order to restore confidence in the media
and restore confidence in the fellow New Yorkers that are looking forward to the Knicks and this
being their year and everybody's saying, you know, what's his name from Indiana? Was out. So this
should be their year. And it looked like, like I said last year, you can't bank.
on that. There's always somebody new
that comes out of nowhere. But I'm
going to go higher on the point.
Great, Binks, go higher. Okay.
Make sure you all download the underdog app and you
can make your picks too. So
before we get into the
confirmed NBA anti-taking rules,
this is a trending topic that I actually did see
on Shade Room, but I'm going to make it clear.
I don't get all my information from Shade Room.
Even if it's posted, I'll check other places
to make sure. But basically
recently, the BAFTAs
had happened and Michael B. Jordan and
Delroy Lindo were on stage presenting an award to somebody.
And there was an invited audience member who has Tourette's who ended up blurting out the N-word.
And then he said, bitch, while they were on stage presenting the award.
And then Michael B. and Delroy kind of just bypassed it and pretended it wasn't seen.
But there is actually a comment also from Jamie Fox when the clip was posted.
He said, nah, he meant that shit.
Out of all the words you could have said, Tourette's makes you say that unacceptable.
So just because Jamie Fox.
So just because this is a trending topic and, you know, the guy does have Tourette's and, you know, was on a main stage, what do you think of that whole situation as a whole before I move on?
Because I'm curious.
I'm not sure how Tourette's work, but if I didn't do any research, I think my response would have been similar to Jamie Foxes.
I'm not sure how it works.
Maybe the information from how it works could give me a different answer.
But out of all the things, you could have just went like this and said, how it works.
Hallelujah, but you didn't say that, you know.
So I think it's about even with Tourette's about what are you pulling out of your subconscious, right?
It has to be in there in order for you to pull it out, right?
So if somebody is squeeze, pause, the only thing that comes out of a person under pressure is what's normally in them.
So if it wasn't in there, it couldn't have come out.
Pause.
What was he doing on stage?
So he was actually an audience member.
So Jamie Fox and then one of his co-stars
were presenting the award, he was in the audience
and while they were presenting it, that, like, nigger came out.
Why was he on stage?
Why was who on?
Damie Fox or the- No.
He wasn't on stage.
He was in the audience.
Oh, okay, just clear.
And he yelled it out from the crowd?
Yeah.
I ain't jacking.
Yeah.
And this goes into like what you're feeding your brain,
consciously because that's what it came out.
And that's all that came out the whole show.
I can see if there is other tics, but that's clearly the one that went viral,
but I didn't see anybody.
You know, they're going to plaster the bad news,
so I didn't see if any other...
I think they said it correctly.
We don't want to sit here and say the wrong thing about somebody with the disease.
But when'd you learn that they were niggas?
There's niggas on the stage, right?
You're saying Michael B joining Jamie Fox on stage?
Well, Jamie Fox wasn't on stage.
Jamie Fox commented, but it was Michael B and Delroy Lindo.
And the guy from Malcolm X, Sennaz.
I don't watch Senners.
He's black?
Yeah.
You should watch Senators, by the way.
He's that nigger, y'all.
He knew what he said.
What was it, nigga what?
Nigger bitch.
Nigger the bitch-ass niggas.
That's what he meant.
He
Nigger bitch
Nigger bitch mean
bitch ass niggas
Niggas. I want to be clear
Found his other tics but this wasn't on the
headline of course so throughout he was
saying also like boring and
fuck so like his different tics
So he had different tics throughout the show
But they highlighted
The nigger bitch
Yo no disrespect
Gaslight
Yeah it's super gaslight
But what award show was this?
The Bafters
Look, I'm all for everybody being everywhere.
I'm just saying.
This is why we're introverts.
Yeah, yeah.
Why do you have that?
You know he has a possibility of doing this,
and you don't want to sit there and exclude him out
of not being in the war or anything else.
But this was kind of like,
what was we talking about the other day murder?
And I was like, you're taking away from somebody's moment.
I forget what we was talking about.
Drusky, yeah, yeah.
And I was like, yo, he doing this
It was the Hall of Fame or something,
somebody's getting an award?
Yeah.
Whatever it was, it was taken away.
This is taken away from somebody's moment.
This might be the clapback.
Yeah, but-
Like the Jackson Smith and Jigbub.
Right, yeah, yeah, he said nigger.
And it's like you're taking away from his moment
when you do stuff like the same thing.
Like, I don't know it was the exact award,
or they just talking or whatever,
but that's what we're talking about more than the award show.
It's like real quick, like with the Knicks, right?
They win the cup.
But a thumb going somebody ass, pause.
Now you're talking about that instead of the cup more than everything else.
You know, Nick Finn, oh, y'all talking about the wrong thing.
Y'all talking about the wrong thing.
We watched the nigger in 4K stickers, thumb up the point guard ass.
That was more of the topic.
So certain things to me take away from the actual achievement
or what should be focused on.
And if that was the case, I'm not saying that certain people shouldn't be certain places,
but you shouldn't have them where it's going to take away from.
an event that's actually going on.
But I don't want to say they shouldn't be there,
shouldn't participate and everything else.
But if it's going to be a distraction,
let's figure out where they can be at
where it won't distract somebody else
or the presentation at hand.
Especially because I'll add too,
obviously it was broadcasted and they didn't edit that out.
So kind of even like I was saying,
even with the Drusky situation, how that happened
and that's in all the broadcast, footage, films, whatever.
So that kind of does stay with them forever.
And it's an unfortunate
situation because it's like
it's obviously a big moment
and then even four people with Tourette's
like those ticks are involuntary
like I remember there's a situation
this guy went viral
because he had Tourette's because he was on the plane
and one of his ticks he kept saying bomb
so he ended up having to get
kicked off the plane because people
like wouldn't you mean he's saying bomb you know what I'm saying?
So it's like I don't know the whole situation
To me when it's and it seems like
this a lot
just from the shit that they show us
I can't say I'm a big, I don't want the people with Terrest said,
I don't know enough about it because I don't.
But when they show a shit like this, it's like,
what's in them to say the wrong shit at the wrong time?
Like, how often do you say balm at home?
You get what I'm saying?
Do you say balm when you're at home?
If you do, cool.
Barb's not really a good word on an airplane.
You know what I'm saying?
So I don't know.
I would have to learn more about it.
And just like when it comes to the airport, they did take them off the plane, even though he had to rest because they had to follow those rules.
So before somebody get upset with us about what we're sharing, we're doing the same thing they were doing the airport.
You have to keep the safety of people, even if somebody is going through a mental illness.
Okay.
And last but not least, these NBA anti-taking rules, which we have been talking about for a while, but a plan was actually put into play.
So there is a meeting last Thursday between the committee and they had told ESPN that these concepts have been discussed to curb tanking.
So first round draft picks can be protected only for top four or top 14 plus selections.
Lottery odds freeze at the trade deadline or later date.
No longer allowing a team to pick in the top four in consecutive years or after consecutive bottom three finishes.
teams can't pick in the top four the year after making the conference finals.
Lottery odds allocated based on two-year records.
Lottery extended to include all play-in teams and flatten odds for all lottery teams.
So obviously that's a lot of things there and we will kind of figure out more as time goes.
But my question, you may says, do you ever just feel like the NBA is just making too many changes over the course?
Yeah, this sounds like I can open the show.
I don't know how to follow this.
It was way too many rules, man.
I don't like it.
Wait up, man.
Hold on.
Do you not like the NBA or you don't like the bet that we made?
So I know exactly what's going on.
Because tomorrow, somebody will be late and you'll be like, before the show is over, I said I didn't like it.
But don't you like exactly?
So I know what you're talking about.
No, I don't like this.
I don't like this right here.
I'm just saying that it seemed very.
similar, Adam Silver, Cameron Jowell.
It seemed like the same kind of rules.
That does not seem like the same kind of rules.
But I'll tell you, I'll tell you this much, right?
I'll tell you this much.
If I was running a multi-billion dollar company,
it'd be more than them rules that Adam gave up.
These are the things you do when you have to run a
multi-billion dollar company.
You have to put a system in place.
You have to make sure people are accountable.
You have to make sure that things are ran right.
As far as this stat, I would have to, I would say let's dive into this tomorrow
because I can't go by not reading what you just said.
It was too much to just gather.
So I do my homework on it this afternoon,
but I want to make sure I answer this correctly and go through it thoroughly
because it sounds like a lot.
And I don't want to get anything wrong.
Fair answer.
Okay, a lot of changes are being made.
we'll discuss if the changes make sense for our next episode.
But that is all the time that we have for today.
Thank you all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
