Welcome back to Who it is what it is.
I'm Treasure Wilson, aka Stat Baby, along with your host, Mace and Cam.
And y'all today, we are joined with our analysts, Arabia.
Hey, y'all.
How are you?
Cam, what's good? Arabia, what's going on?
Hey, hey.
I just, I want to ask a question, Cam, because Nick is asking me this.
He said, they're paying for a day's miss, but is there a Zoom fee?
I'm just asking for Nick.
Nick wants me to ask this.
I wouldn't even be tripping.
I wouldn't mind if you paid all the, all from last season of money that you know.
Nick, what is it, $7,000?
If you, if you, we can't even if you had that competition until you pay the $7,000.
Until you pay the $7,000.
Well, let's pay it.
Well, let's pay it then.
Let's pay it then. Let's pay.
We're going to count it out.
Nick, Nick, Nick, go get the money, please.
Go get the money.
Can I sell you?
I know, just because it's not my money.
It's everybody's money.
Nick, I'll hold it until I get there to borrow.
I'm a zeal you.
Nick, you'll never get it.
You'll never get it if you sell it.
Thumbs up.
He put a thumbs up.
I came ready to pay.
fams that you did
why you just can't give him the cash
why you can't give him the cash he can hold
it until the zelle go through
I'm
because we're filming
that money yeah the money
is right there cam the money is
right there
okay can I make a suggestion for this money
I think we should put it in escrow because I'm
about to file a complaint with
HR do we have HR I'm about to file
a complaint with HR and I need
compensation because I'm being harassed by Maurice Claret and something needs to be done.
I'm being bullied by Maurice Claret and I need some type of HR intervention here because
it's getting a little out of hand.
Oh yeah, I'm HR.
I'm HR because I was age all when Mike was hugging you.
I told you I was age.
Wait, wait, y'all talking at the same time.
Mace, then Cam.
No, I told her I was HR when Mike was hugging her, you know, but, you know,
Cam, then she didn't want HR.
So am I HR or am I not HR, you know?
I was cool about giving me a hug.
Okay, what is Maurice doing?
Because I got to speak to him.
No, I want Cam to go.
And then I'll let you know what he's doing.
Okay.
Cam, go ahead.
I think as CEO or HR,
whatever you want to cover the,
without how you want to title it.
you start
to Rabia
you listen man
let me tell you so you start this season
aggressive
I don't know if you're trying to go
to like to live that through
she started this season
very aggressively
and the last
few episodes she's
I don't know she's been
the anger management
I don't know where she went
but she's the last few episodes
and
and I can't
I can't be on inside
I think there more reasons
doing just respond
responding to you getting overhyped with Michigan
and then the Michigan that produced the last couple games
and now he's reacting.
I don't think it's too much.
I think the bet that he proposed to you is fair.
Why don't take that bet?
No, Your Honor, because I think Mace's HR and the judge.
Your Honor, I would like to present in the evidence.
I mean, I'm just saying he was the judge last episode.
He wore a lot of hats.
Maurice Claret is not simply responding to my minister.
Michigan antics. He's going out of his way to incite violence. And I'm going to therapy.
I'm going to politely decline his invitation to violence and instead try to come to some form
of peace. But if he don't do that, I'm filing a claim with Mace.
You should. You should, because I'm not going to tolerate that.
Thank you.
Arabia. Arabia, I will say this. This is what I'll say, and I'll leave it at this.
Maurice Ben, down in Atlanta with Mesa Church.
all summer.
He has it.
Did they say that at the show at the beginning of the show?
I don't know where it was, but yeah.
He said he was coming, but he never showed pause.
He never showed up.
That's what happened with the palm trees.
Y'all just have these half promises with each other.
I don't know.
He didn't show up.
It's like the palm trees, Cam.
It just didn't show up.
This is what I think is.
that we all will evaluate it.
It won't just be me, Mesa,
be me, Mesa, be Stad and Nick.
And we'll go through the messages
and we'll see if it's harassment.
We'll come a decision so it isn't just
Mesa. It'll be a group decision.
We see what stat is going to go.
That's what we'll bring Nick in
and make it fair.
Okay, I appreciate that.
We need a tiebreaker.
Isaiah is going to be a tiebreaker.
But I can get me.
Yeah, you need a Lisa odd number
so we can see.
But they don't have that in the courts.
They have 12, right?
We're making our own court.
Okay, go ahead.
That's fair.
There is what it is, court.
I like that.
Can I say something before we start the show?
I know we started the show.
What is this?
You got to do.
So, I didn't know you had us in this whole thing with these old video hosts.
Arabia was telling me earlier.
What?
What is that?
Because that's how I feel because I'm confused too.
And I didn't call them old H-O-E-Ses.
I asked, so, okay, to bring everybody up to speed.
Did y'all put me in this?
I asked the question, you were there too.
I asked a question.
You're going to make, you know, Mace.
We're in it, Mace?
I asked a question, and I said, whatever happened to those video vixens back in the days,
did they go back to Gen Pop?
But I said general population, as I always ask y'all about questions.
But then it turned into a whole thing, and it was a whole rant.
And so I did respond, me personally, I responded on Twitter.
I got to watch that stat.
No, I watch what?
Before I continue.
That I can't even finish my point.
Yeah, go ahead, go ahead.
Okay, so I responded.
You're lying stuff in Mace.
Yeah, like, let me, and I don't even say too much.
That's why the whole thing is just irritating to me.
So I responded and I verbatim and I'll read verbatim what I said.
I said, calling me a B is crazy.
My era doesn't have video vixen, so it was a genuine question, but clearly I struck a nerve.
I think there's a disconnect here, but go off, I guess.
Because I didn't at anybody.
I wasn't talking about anybody specific.
I didn't say anybody's name.
I asked y'all questions as I always ask y'all questions with no ill intent.
So the fact that it became a whole, like you're trying to do this and you're trying,
I'm like, nobody was trying to do anything.
I asked a question.
Am I able to talk now?
Yes.
Without a line step?
Yes.
Okay.
I'm just that I don't understand why you, why you, why, you?
your generation talks like they want to fight when they don't.
Like you say stuff like, what did you just say?
But go off, I guess.
What else did you say?
Because this was like a three-minute, something-minute-long video.
From one girl?
From one woman addressing me.
Um, what is her name?
Gloria Veles, addressing me.
Gloria is an OG.
Y'all. Okay, how would I know that if I didn't grow up watching video vixants?
Also, not only that, I didn't say anything disrespectful. I asked about general population,
and that shouldn't, to me, be a diss. So I came back defensive, mainly because...
Leave my head. The moral of the story is you call me a bitch, right? I don't even curse on here,
and y'all know that. I don't curse. Like, I keep it very PG. That was my thing about it.
So that's why I'm like, at the end of the day, we can have a one-on-one conversation because
why also my intent wasn't for it to be a back and forth on Twitter because if there's a discussion
that you want to have with me or something that you want to tell me, we can talk about that. But I never
added somebody. So the fact that it became a thing. You just said what happened to them? Yeah.
But then you're throwing there to Jen Pop. What's the Gen Pop? What did you mean by Jim Pop?
When I said Jen Pop, so what I was initially asking and the word general population is a common term that
I use, I was like, are they people who are still in the limelight? Do they not want to
be on social media? Do they do content? Like, I don't know. That was a genuine question.
But that's not what you said. You said general population. I don't. What does Jen Pop mean?
The general population. Yeah, so you're saying they went backwards. That doesn't mean.
If you ask if somebody went to Jen Pop, I don't even see that as a dis as going backwards.
And I know when I say certain things, because y'all know my vocabulary and just how I talk.
Sometimes when I say things that comes across is funny when I'm not trying to be funny,
I'm actually asking a question.
So the fact that it turned into all this because I feel like my words get misconstrued when I don't say too much to begin with.
And that's why I'd rather just have the conversation with the person.
Okay, let me ask you that.
And this is my last question.
Do you have, before this conversation, do you have a reverence for video victims?
I've never known of a video vixen.
No, but I'm saying, do you hold them in high regard?
I don't know anything about video vixenksons to hold them at anywhere.
I don't know.
That's why I asked.
Because even when I initially asked the question, it wasn't referring to anybody.
So then the fact that somebody inserts themselves and calls me a bee and then goes off
on y'all, it makes it a whole thing, I'm like, whoa, because I don't even know where
it came from when I wasn't addressing anybody in particular.
And so now I know this woman who felt some type of way about my comments that were general.
And so now I feel like that's a discussion to be had because it wasn't meant to be a whole
think piece. If you felt that way, you're also entitled to your own opinion to make it a
think piece. But I think that we should just have a conversation. That's my point.
Kill us. You got something to say about it before I go? Sorry, Mays. I ain't know if you're
a friend of you. You got something? Sorry. Yeah, she's that interesting to listen something again.
I don't even like that comment. I don't even like that comment because I don't be trying to throw y'all
on anything. I ask questions as I always do. And I guess, shoot, the power of the words,
or who says it, it becomes a whole thing.
So it's like at this point,
it's not much I can do.
I'm not gonna stop asking questions.
So there's that.
Sorry, y'all.
Arrabi, you have something to say before I go?
Okay.
This, I hate a dumb ho.
I'm sorry, because treasure is the type of person
where if you go low, she's gonna go high
and my sis don't even say ho.
She don't even say bitch.
She's not even that type of person.
So this dumb act,
bitch is on Twitter and Jordan 13 trying to sell pussy in her new book and that's really all it
comes down to. You're trying to use cam and mace and stat as a marketing campaign for your new
fucking book bitch. Nobody's checking for you. She had they just asked oh who was that she had to go
and Google what's her name again. Nobody knows of you. Nobody knows I don't I didn't even know
who this person is maybe back in the day the people or average know who you but nobody knows who
are today and the your resurgence in selling pussy on ole fans in your book on whatever you're
selling your book at is still irrelevant. So this would
just heard way of trying to get 15 minutes because
nobody was talking about you
specifically, a hit dog on holler every
single fucking time. And she never said
anything was wrong with Jen Pop.
There's nothing wrong with having a business and
being a mother and one decade
being in the videos and stuff and then another decade
you put it to rest and you open a business
and you start a fan. There's nothing wrong with Jim Pop
and nobody said it was anything wrong with Jim Pop.
The phrase, general population is funny
as fuck. I hate a dumbass theory as ho too.
We're joking, lighten up. She did
all that for 15 minutes and unfortunately
we're going to give it to her by her book,
buy the only fans,
whatever she's trying to fucking promote.
But for her to come out and call her a bitch
and holler like the hit dog that she is,
it's fucking crazy because nobody said anything wrong.
And you clearly see the type of person that treasure is.
She really did not have malice in her heart.
You got all these people who try to fuck
basically online being like,
you're right, Gloria.
She did come out of her neck.
And no, she didn't.
They're pandering to you because you got your tities out on Twitter.
So there you go.
There's your promotion,
but she was completely out of pocket.
There's no reason for her to call Twitter a bitch.
I hate a fucking dumb hope.
Get, yeah.
That's why I'm
that's why I'm in, man.
That's why we're in, man.
We're right here, Woody.
That's exactly why I fuck with you, man.
See, let me address a few things, right?
Stat never said nobody named.
That's first and foremost.
She said, video vixas.
I don't know what made her the head of the coalition.
for video vixen.
So there's a like stat singled her out, right?
So I'm sitting there saying,
nobody said you.
And I believe stat was genuine
when she asked it as well.
So I'm like,
how did this turn into a stat
and then, of course,
Cam, say my name, get lit.
Of course, you know,
just say my name and get lit.
Knowing sometimes I just can't help myself,
Maston I don't know what's going on.
He's minding his business.
So nobody even said your name.
That's what I was coming from with the situation.
And then I'm like, yo, bro, you know, maybe Mace got, you know,
I just heard what Mace said, maybe Mace got a little love in his heart
because that's his era.
I miss the era, bitch.
You was out of there with time I got hot.
We didn't need you.
We didn't need you.
But what I will say is this, man, it's a difference between video vixen's and jump
off after the video goes off.
I don't put you in the video vixen.
I put you in the jump off after the video is over.
I just want, so, you know, she messed with a lot of people, Aaron Hall, Cisco, and I didn't
even do this.
People have been sending me videos all weekend of her talking about her being a hoe.
Like, you know, Arabia knew more than me,
but she's admittedly open being the hoe.
I'd rather just go to the clip of Aaron Hall
and who's her baby father and Gene Deal.
Nick, do you got the clip available?
Let's see the clip.
Big pun, fat Joe, methadman.
Like, whoever you speak to,
just ask them how I did it.
I got out the limo, grabbed the hand,
one upstairs, and fucked her.
Me and Gloria's cool.
We got cool in two weeks.
You feel me?
I'm a boss.
I ain't going to argue with you about no shit
and you're an umbilical court bitch.
You fucking 35, 36 years old.
I'm not going to disrespect you,
but I'm a boss motherfucker.
And I love my son,
so I ain't going to break probation
by fucking with you
and not being able to speak to him again.
You feel I'm saying?
I just remembered that Gloria had tattooed errands
right above her...
In black, red and green.
Right above her vagina.
Right above it with a parenthesis.
with an S.
Right.
Arons.
It belongs to...
Look, look, look, look, when I saw her,
when I saw she was dancing with Luke, Luke, you know.
I ain't know she was a puppy, you know what I mean?
That's right.
She was tall, she was big, blonde hair, bone with the black pant leather.
I was like, I'm getting that.
Mm-hmm.
Everybody knows I couldn't even really speak then.
I had a speech impediment.
I don't study anymore.
Mm-hmm.
So I just went there and just grabbed her hand
and went inside the hotel and gave it to her.
You feel?
You feel me?
So she-
And then she tells the lie now,
oh, that name Aaron across my pussy
is because of my son.
Who put their son name across their pussy?
Yeah, that's weird.
That's very weird, bro.
She put Aaron Hall name across her pussy.
Because at the time, that was Aaron Pryn.
That had nothing to do with her son.
Now, she want to go renegade?
Go renegade, bitch.
At what point did she get the tattoo?
Three days after I fucked her.
Three days.
Three whole days.
If anybody can do that shit, I don't care if you was married.
I don't care if you was engaged, if your anniversary, if your bitch did that shit, then I'll stop singing I miss you.
Sometimes I see a puppy on the field when I'm doing dog training.
I think it's a year old or two years old, and it'd be like eight months.
So I don't know.
So when I saw her, everybody was trying to get at her.
Right.
Why y'all scared her?
I took her.
I can't even talk at a speech impediment, ask.
I'm not the only one with the copy,
but I'm the only one.
I'm the one who gave it to them.
It's Gloria Velazin Coco,
taking more wet bottles.
You understand?
And putting them up their self
on stage in Cancun.
Do you understand me?
Be mad at them niggas.
Listen, man, if you're stuffing your pussy with more wet bottles, you got bigger issues
than smack myself or I'm not even going to clue mace on it.
Go, go find them, niggins who saying you're fucking yourself with more wet bottles.
Leave us alone, man.
It's more videos.
Leave me alone.
I'm done.
I'm done.
I don't even know what to ask because I don't.
And then now it's like, the whole thing is like, no, I got to watch what I say.
but it's like, I don't want to have to watch what I say.
I want to also be able to talk to our viewers freely about certain things.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know these people, okay?
So what we discuss up here, the questions that I ask, we have open conversations.
All of us on this show have open conversations, and you sometimes just get raw reactions.
And that's what it is when you're online, okay?
And that's why people like the show.
And that's why people like the show.
And also, if somebody's upset about it, that also can happen.
you are allowed to have your own opinions.
The issue that I had, and I will just reiterate this one more time,
was just this woman calling me a bitch when I never said her name.
That's all.
And then not even just me.
She said stuff to Cam.
I think, I'm not sure if she said anything to me,
but it just became a thing.
So I don't know.
I don't know.
But I still think a conversation can be had.
I'm always open to a conversation.
I'm always all ears because I learned things.
That's cool.
But yes, I was confused.
and I can't tell you that my confusion was not genuine because it was.
I don't know what else is wanted for me, but hey, welcome to it is what it is, y'all.
On that note, y'all, we have another special guest, because now we're going to get into it.
Some fun sports stuff.
He was a former professional wide receiver for 13 seasons.
He's also, and it is what it is, pause, Hall of Famer, sorry to do that to you,
but it's OG
introducing Brandon Marshall.
Brandon, how you doing?
Welcome to back to the show.
Hey, y'all are wild.
You're wild.
Brian, what's up, man?
You back.
I'm back.
Oh, you're back.
Yeah, yeah, I'm back.
I'm back.
Y'all still doing pause?
Y'all still doing pause on the show?
Here and there.
Okay, that's still going.
Okay.
Hey, but hold on.
Hold on.
You know, every time I come on the show,
I need the fact check.
Mace, why when they say her name you was like, who is that?
You knew who Gloria was, Mace.
You knew who Gloria was.
And then also, Camby Trippie.
You're going to put that girl in that category.
I tracked GPT, the best video vixons in the world.
And she's up there.
She's in the top eight.
There's Melissa Ford.
There's Karen Stevens.
There's Buffy, Carruth.
And Gloria's right there.
So, you know, you've got to put respect on her name.
Listen to those names.
Go ahead, killer.
Corinne Steffis, aka Superhead?
Yes, she's in her.
She's number two.
She's number two on the list.
This is what Chat GPT said.
But that's who you're categorizing her with, Superhead.
But think about all the hip-hop videos.
I mean, that era was crazy.
There were so many video vixings.
So for her to be top 10, you've got to put a little respect.
on her name. And then Statt, you know, I love you, but I got to push back on you. You say
your era don't have video vixons, but you got IG vixens. I got social vixen. But those are two
different things. A video vixen, if I'm wrong, is the person who's like the love, like the sex
symbol dancing in the music video. Is it not? Yeah, they just dancing online. They just
dancing on Twitter and Instagram. That's how he's going to. And I'm not like every, and I have to
keep prefacing that I'm not trying to be funny when I
ask this. This is why I ask.
I don't know.
I do not know. I think, Brandon,
you got a point. You got a point.
Yeah, you got a point.
Because I wouldn't
call Aria a video
vixen, but she'd definitely be
dancing in the videos.
Brandon don't have no damn point.
Brandon don't have no point because that's
not the point. But she's big time.
Not a video bixen, but she's dancing
videos.
No, no, there's no point there because the whole point is there's nothing wrong with Instagram vixen.
There's nothing wrong with the women who are doing anything.
You want to sell pussy after the show?
Sell pussy after the show.
We're asking, where are they now?
That's it.
We're not saying, oh, you're a bad person because you're a bad person because you're a video vixen.
Go get your money.
You probably have fun.
You was in the club.
You was turned up.
You was young, have a fun and free.
Cool, do you?
Nobody said there was anything wrong with that.
We were just asking, where are they now?
So, no, you don't have a point.
Who cares if is the Instagram vixen or video vixen?
both of them are fine, do you.
So we should do a better study on where are they now then?
I think that's a really good thing.
I'm over it.
I don't, I don't care.
Like, I really, I really don't care.
To be honest with you, this is the most light that they're going to get.
Like, they're not going to get this much light.
Us giving this attention is going to bring more awareness to them.
So congratulations.
Lastly, I'll say wrapping this up on this topic for me.
I'm over. I just want to tell Statt in Arabia, I had your back.
Last thing I'll say is this.
Brandon, if you want to fuck, just say you want to fuck.
Just say that.
He is in the Florida area.
He is in the Florida area.
He thinks he's slick.
He can do all that.
Just say you want to fuck the people.
When you was young in the college,
and that's somebody you wanted to hit.
I got me a little New Orleans baby right now.
I got me a little New Orleans baby.
I'm good.
I love that.
That's so good.
I love that.
But Brandon, glad to have you back on the show.
I know this was, I don't know, I don't know, bro.
It was a great start.
Was it?
Like, I don't know.
It came in slick simping.
No, but also I like that, though.
I like that.
We need different.
so everybody can just like talk like that's cool I'm that's never a problem so that's a good thing but yeah
yeah they call that dirty mac in when I grew up that was dirty macking you got to respect
top 10 cam man top 10 yeah you do the same I hear it all the time on it is what it is you all talk
about you talk about top 10 Mount Rushmore NFL would you go ahead would you like your girlfriend
to be the top 10 dick suckers in the world oh no yeah
It wouldn't be my girlfriend.
What you're looking for?
Oh, well, I mean, well, hold on.
Well, if it's private, if it's private, absolutely.
But no, I like that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You don't want to be in the street with her.
Nah, she ain't going to be my girlfriend.
Yeah.
Okay, y'all, let's get into this football.
Glad to see everybody.
Let's get into the Sunday night game.
No, go ahead, Cam.
Yeah, go ahead.
Yeah, go ahead.
You know, Brandon, Brandon, are you a better receiver than Mike?
Oh, yeah, yes, for sure.
I mean, respect to Michael Irvin, you know, that's my...
I love young niggins' boss.
I love young niggins' boss.
They don't get you the old niggins, no.
I mean, you can't compare.
No, listen, I mean, listen, this is what Mike's going to say.
I got three rings, right?
That's what he's going to say every single time, but,
no, you just got to turn on the tape.
I mean, I think in the show today,
we're talking about a kid that had 17 receptions today.
I did that a couple of times.
You know what I'm saying?
So one-on-one, yeah, I put my name up there with the best of them.
Hmm.
All right, so you're better than Mike.
I like that attitude.
I like that.
Mike nice.
Mike nice.
Mike nice.
Mike nice.
But you're saying Mike nice, but you're nicer?
What are you saying?
Yeah, I was, yeah, yeah, one-on-one.
Just turn on the film.
I mean, Mike was nice, but like, come on, man.
And here's the thing, though.
Here's the thing.
Michael Irvin.
and let me Michael Irvin thank you for everything you've done for me and the conversations that we've had and in the mentorship and all of that but come on man like turn on the film Michael Irvin had Troy Akeman I had 17 quarterbacks I did what I did with 17 quarterbacks come on I like that like the I like the confidence yeah Mike all something to say about this shit though Mike definitely going to have something to say about this I can see Mike now his blood pressure false
He's going to bring his trophies.
That's it.
He's going to bring his trophy.
Well, listen, I'll say this.
You got six pro bowls, right?
Yes, sir.
Mike got five.
Ooh.
Look at the catches.
Look at the yards.
Look at the touchdowns.
Look at every stat line.
That was crazy, Blake.
Go ahead.
Look at every stat line.
Okay.
See when Mike has to say.
I know he'll have something to respond.
Okay.
So the bills.
their first loss of the season after losing to the Patriots 29 to 26. Brandon, I'm going to ask you
first, then Mason and Cam, then Arabia. How much does this loss concern you regarding the
bills or are you shrugging it off? How do we feel about this? I mean, it's still early in the year.
So, you know, we can't really look at, take football really serious until after November, right?
After Thanksgiving, that's when the real football season start. So it's not that concerning.
What is concerning to me, though, is Josh Allen, right? Like, I was
thinking about this, these are the type of games that you saw Peyton Manning go out there
and just dominate. These are the games that Tom Brady would go out there and just dominate, right?
So you go out there with Drake May struggling and then y'all struggle, this makes no sense.
So the more I sat on this, I was like, you know what? He's John Elway. He's John Elway. At the end
of his career, he might sneak one or two in, but right now he's just not showing that he can
just dominate year in and year out. When I, when I, what I mean by that is,
the people you're supposed to beat.
So it's a big year,
the big year for Josh Shal and the Bills stat.
Okay.
Mesa,
this is a big year for Josh Allen and the bills?
How are we feeling?
Well, I mean,
I got to address what Brandon just said
because I just can't,
I can't let all of this pause go by.
He said that when he sat on it,
then he says something about a sneak one in.
Yeah.
I just, I just don't know
where he's going, Paul is going, you know, but let's get back to the game. Let's get back to the game.
When it comes to this Buffalo team, I agree with what Brandon is saying in this aspect, because
if this team is struggling, there's no way Josh Allen supposed to be supreme MVP type caliber
player. He's not supposed to struggle in this game. And definitely, we can't be losing at home.
And I'm going to say we, I'm going to stand with them on this loss.
You can't be losing at home.
These are the games that are going to come back, the custom,
a seeding and where the playoffs is going to be.
These games, these are giveaway games.
When you look at, he even broke my record of the first quarterback, the 250.
I always believe the quarterback who gets the 250 first wins the game every single time.
It's just a new stat, just like, you know, Brandon's saying he's better than Michael Irving.
I'm a new expert.
I'm just here to do with Shams and the rest of them do.
You know, they give Shams his credit.
They need to give me my credit unless they don't want to give me my credit because I'm brown skin, a little bit more browner.
Pause.
I don't know how Cam is going to take this, but, you know, I'm up there with Shams and them.
In fact, they're under me.
Pause.
Shout out Shams.
Cam.
Shams.
I don't know how we got to the NBA.
We're talking about the NFL.
I don't know where it's Sean's going to.
I don't even know where Sean came.
I'm talking my experts, Cam.
I'm talking my experts, new up-and-coming experts.
It's a sports show, Cam.
I would have respected if you said a football analyst,
but I digress.
So just to be clear,
you're still sticking with the bills as your other team, just asking.
I'm supporting New York this year, Cam.
Can I support where I'm from?
Can I support where I'm from?
Is it the job of a team or not, man?
Do we count this as a line step or not?
Because I can't even talk up here, Brandon.
This is what I'm talking about.
And then people wonder why I don't talk.
How can I talk?
How can I talk with people like this, man?
What's your question, Cam?
Go ahead.
What's the question?
I'll answer.
Are you still down with the bills?
Because I don't know where it came from earlier.
Down with him, Cam.
I said I was supporting the team.
Cam, what do you mean by down with him?
I don't...
I'm not down with nobody.
Remember you said that.
I'm glad you said that.
I'm glad you said that.
I see you got somebody cutting up my words.
They call me too, Cam.
They tell me Cam got me working on a video for you cutting up all your words.
I said for real, I just spoke to him.
Is this what we doing, Cam?
They lied to you, nigga.
You never told you that lied to you.
Yo, back to the game real quick.
Let me listen.
I don't think, listen, nobody's going undefeated since 1972.
That's just that.
You know, because the Patriots started off, you know, lackluster this season,
we're saying the bills started off hot.
We're saying that, yo, oh, man, the bills to the one this,
bills to the one that's look the Patriots went to the Super Bowl last year they didn't perform
well in the Super Bowl but they have a decent team and I think this was more about the Patriots
needing to get a win than the bills losing I'm not disagreeing with Mace or or Brandon but you
don't want to go one in three to start the season and also lose a division game so I think that
this is a great win for the Patriots um the bills of course you think they should win this game at
home but we're not going to throw the Patriots under the bus because they start off a little
Russ, pardon me a little rough, we gotta remember this is a team that just went to
Super Bowl. So I think this was more about the Patriots having to get a victory, especially
being a division game than the bill's losing. Arabia.
Yeah, but.
No, Brandon can go ahead.
So Rabia's go.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, Rabia. I was just going to reply to what Macy.
He said something interesting.
You know, I played in that division at AFC East twice when I was with the Jets and also
to Miami Dolphins.
So I played the Buffalo Bills twice.
One of the hardest places to play
whether they're good or not is Buffalo.
So, Cam, I got to push back on you a little bit
because when you go into Buffalo, right, that's tough.
Thank you, Brandon.
And Buffalo lost at home.
That's a big deal, man.
That's telling Arabia.
That's telling.
Yeah.
Yeah, the thing about it is this, though, Brandon.
You never played in that arena,
so we don't really need to know your opinion on that arena.
It's new.
It's a new arena.
It's all the same, though.
You're little old schools.
You never played there, Brandon, so I don't know what you're talking about.
I feel you this city, that's never played in that arena.
Yeah, but it don't change.
The people don't change.
It's like, it's like no garden.
How would you know?
It's like the garden.
You move the garden down to Tribeca or something.
The same fans is going to carry.
It's the same.
No, I can't go with that.
I can't go with that.
The garden and Tribeca is crazy.
The garden and tribeca is crazy.
The garden and tri.
You want to take that statement back.
right now.
If people hear you say,
the garden and tribeca will be the same.
Well, you know what I meant.
You know what I meant.
We don't know what you mean.
That's why we're telling you to take the comment back right now.
The same fan base, man.
It's the same fan base.
Hey, what you're talking about old school?
You know how many?
I play with half these dudes that's still playing.
I just retired not too long ago.
Well, yeah, did you retire, Brandon?
Let's move on.
Go ahead, Arabia.
A commercial break.
There you go.
Pre-pandemic.
Is it pre-pandemic or post?
It's free.
It's free.
Arabia.
Yeah.
And just a real quick piggyback on what Brandon is saying.
You know, my child's father also played for the bills.
He played for the dolphins, the Patriots, the Ravens.
He said, of all those teams, he said the bills were different.
He said he can tell.
why they win year after year after year.
There's just something about being in that building that just felt different from all
the other teams he had been at.
So I guess there is something about Buffalo that is different even to players who have moved
around a little bit.
But back to the game, the Patriot scored two touchdowns in the first three weeks this season.
They scored double that against the bills.
So I want to give Drake May his flowers because coming into this game, a lot of people have
some questions about the underwhelming offensive product that they were putting on the field.
But he really stepped up in a big way in a road division game against a team that I
A lot of people consider it to be contenders.
However, I also want to give some credit to Josh McDaniels,
who is the offensive coordinator for New England in his third stint.
He's currently the reigning assistant coach of the year.
Not only offensively did they really pick things up,
but defensively they did things that I thought were really special for two reasons.
Number one, they were without Gonzo.
They didn't have Christian Gonzalez,
and they did not have Christian Barr more.
So they were able to come up in key stops without two of their key players.
I mentioned how they had two touchdowns in the first three weeks.
weeks. They had a defensive touchdown as well, thanks to Barmore. So they had those two key players
that were missing. I also didn't like how last week versus the Jags, New England, played a lot
of zone. And I kind of chalked it up to, all right, Jacksonville was coming out of a lot of condensed
formations and they were combating that with zone coverage. But I thought they had the personnel to really
get in man. So this week, I saw a lot of adjustments in that regard. More man, we got to see the bills
come out of tight bunch formations and they combated that with cover one with with man. So I was happy to see
that even without Gonson's on the.
field. So a lot of adjustments from week
three to week four and just giving
credit to Drake May, but to answer your question
that I'm not super concerned about
Josh Allen and the bills. He was
a bit careless with the ball in the final
moments of the game. He didn't live
to see another down. He's instead shot a shot and it
backfired. But I think in this
AFC race that has some of the usual
suspects like the Chiefs and the Ravens
and some newcomers like the Jaguars,
you do have to be careful, especially
in these division games where the Patriots are trying to creep
back up there too. So no super
big concern for Josh Allen this early in the season, but I am happy for New England,
and I like the way that they're adjusting week to week.
Yeah, and I'm also happy for Drake Mays because, I mean, previous weeks, we were talking
about how he doesn't win the close games.
So this was a close game to win in a tough stadium.
So shout out to Drake Mays.
I want to say something real quick.
I just want to say something real quick, because you said it's a thing.
You said, Brandon, you said it's tough and Arabia said her baby father said that it's a tough place to play.
But that's the difference between Brandon Marshall and Arabia's baby father.
Tom Brady is 33 and 2 in Buffalo.
It's greatness and it's okay.
I don't know that's right.
Hey, yeah, but you got to understand too, Arabia.
It's 33 and 2, Brandon.
33 and 2, man.
Yeah, but that, but but but but but if that that's a bigger conversation.
That's a bigger conversation because Tom Brady didn't have a strong division.
Like who was the quarterback when, you know, those 19 years when Tom Brady was in a division,
the Jets, the same thing.
You said the town is tough.
It is tough.
100%.
You got to separate Tom Brady and not era New England Patriots to everyone else.
That's a different, that's a different, different dynasty right there.
I don't know what you want to call it, but you got to separate it.
Let me ask Mace, because Mace is never on my side on the show.
Now, he'll be the final answer.
The judge, yeah.
He said it's the fan base, but now it's Tom Brady.
Which one is it?
Is it the fan base or is it Tom Brady?
According to him, just five minutes ago, it's the fans.
It's crazy.
If they moved the stadium across the street, it don't matter.
Which one is it, Mason?
A tough place to play.
He says the city, basically.
he can't play good in the city
that's what I heard
yeah but you can't put Tom Brady in that conversation
Tom Brady's a different cat
Tom Brady's a different cat
yeah that's right and I agree with you
wait wait Kim what kind of cat is he
what kind of cat is he versus you
if you're the same species
is he a lion
and you're like a what
we can't even have that conversation
it's like me comparing you all to R&B singers
I can't compare you all to R being singer.
He's a quarterback.
I'm a receiver.
What you want from me?
I don't got the ball in my hand 100% of the time.
What's you want from me?
You just said you caught 17 pass?
I got a...
But think about what I just said, though.
I just gave you the perfect
confident analogy right there.
You want me to compare you?
Maybe I could.
Maybe I could, make you...
You still rap and sing like Drake.
Yeah.
You should do a little R&B.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm dizzy.
Brandon.
Brandon is a spinner.
Pause, for real.
Percy said it was Tom Brady.
Then it's a different kind of cat.
I don't know.
Me and Karen was talking about this.
My son said they have the same species.
So we need to know.
Are you a lion?
Are you a tiger?
is a kitten, a cat?
Oh, where do you fall?
No, the viewers want to know if it's a different species,
if you're, if you're, if you're, if you're, if you're,
if you're the same species, but it's different, which one is it?
Tom Brady is a lion.
Which one is Brandon Marshall?
In football terms, I'm a dog.
So I'm not even a cat.
Like, I'm talking, that's a quarterback.
Quarterback is a totally different.
job. You can't compare wire receiver with a quarterback.
Okay, so in the dog species, in the dog species, he's a, he's a Cane Corso.
I'm a pit bull. I'm a pit bull. That's what I, I'm a pit bull.
A small one or?
Oh my goodness.
He's some other details. But we can't move forward.
Yo, Lee, Matt. Come on, Stap.
Texas. All right, now, Texas.
No, no, no, no.
Valid question, valid analogies, good conversation.
I'm never going to cut it if it's going good.
But we are going to go to break.
We're discussing.
Oh, and poor Texans.
Don't go anywhere.
She called this thing about toxic.
She called his thing about it's toxic.
Four years in counting.
Got you feeling like an option.
Maybe I'm my own problem, baby.
She's tired of hearing
I don't know
My stubborn in me won't fall
But she ain't really thinking about
Welcome back
So the Raiders lose to the Chiefs
30 to 27
And the Chiefs remain undefeated
I guess that's the real title town
As Mace would say
So Arabia, do you see the Chiefs
keeping this up?
And then how do you feel about the Raiders
after seeing their performance in this game?
I mean last week
when I kind of said that the Raiders
were the Chrysler
300 and the Chiefs were the Rose Voice.
It's not quite that because
like I said, it's not just about them winning or
losing, it's how they won or how they lost
and if they were competitive. And I think the Raiders played
a really good game. The good news
is that this is their fourth straight game
scoring at least 26 points. So offensively
they have something really going. The bad news
is they gave up almost 400 yards
of total offense and they lost a turnover
battle by two. Y'all know how I feel about that turnover
margin. But there were
two points in the game that had me sort of
scratching my head a little bit. Number one was
was in the third quarter when Clint Kubiak decided to go for it on, I think it was fourth in, fourth and something instead of keeping the points from the field goal.
And that sort of aggressive coaching, similar to Dan Campbell, is a double-edged sword.
On one hand, it's kind of what can get you high risk, high-reward situations and can get you through a season.
But when it backfires, it can go pretty bad.
So I think a lot of people wish that he would have kept the points in hindsight.
And then also in the final moments of the game when there was that questionable catch that wasn't reversed.
viewed and then Kurt Cousins comes to the line and snaps the ball on first and 10.
Now it's second and 10.
The clock stop.
Let your players get set.
It was just like this rush at the line with the clock stop.
And then you get illegal formation and then you get an interception at the end of the game.
So those two key moments, I think, could have been pivotal and at least tying the game and taking it to overtime.
But overall, I think the Raiders should be proud of the product that they put on the field.
Giving up 30 points certainly isn't something that their defense is proud of.
But again, it's the chiefs who have a high-powered offense and they're still figuring.
things out there. But I think
the Raiders played a really good game. And yes, I
do see the Chiefs continuing to be real
contenders in the AFC.
Okay. Brandon.
Yeah, this is what I love about the NFL.
Every year is just totally different, right? And you've got to
earn it. I think C.J. Stroud, after the game
said today,
just like an iPhone, you've got to update
it every single year. Who would have thought
the Raiders would be in this position? Now,
we're not looking at no moral victories or
anything like that. But, you know, that's
what happens when you play against
you know, Patrick Mahomes in a dynasty like that or whatever you want to call him and Andy Reid,
but they put pressure on you. So Arabia, when you see coaches, when we see coaches go forward
on fourth and down or they get outside of themselves a little bit, it's because they're saying
we got to attack. We can't let them attack us. And so, you know, I'm happy for the Raiders.
They turned this around really quickly. Tom Brady did a hell of a job bringing in Kirk Cousins
and putting this together and they got a young kid on the bench.
But this is about Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
Man, the NFL is on notice right now.
That's the conversation for them to start off the season four.
No, the kid just tours ACL, what, eight months ago?
Months ago, this dude was on the sideline.
This is the end of the season.
You got dudes that's still out in the NBA and the NFL
when they toured ACL year and a half ago.
So for them to look like this says a lot about Patrick.
Patrick Mahomes and everybody else in the AFC,
they need to look out because Patrick Mahomes ain't playing.
We always said, man, if he could get maybe two more Super Bowls,
he's up there with Tom Brady.
I love what I'm seeing out of the Chiefs, Mace.
I'm glad you came home, Paul.
You had to, you know.
This is a wonderful season.
He just said he's home from New York.
No, the Chiefs is, the Chiefs is my dynasty.
I'm a part of the Chiefs as much as Andy's
read it.
His.
Sorry,
Brady.
Wow.
Wow.
You got to excuse me.
You got to excuse me.
He get like that.
You can't do that.
You can't do that.
The mighty Chiefs, man.
Listen,
this has been my team.
I got,
it's an APB out for the picture
with me at like seven years old.
I got the Chief's helmet on,
man.
I used to go to school
with the Chief's helmet on.
Pause.
It's crazy.
Shout out the
Andy Reed, 432 wins on the road.
This is crazy.
He's second all-time killer.
This is just what it looks like.
This is what it looks like.
You got Kenne Walker getting two touchdown.
Shout out to the L.A. Raiders.
I mean, Vegas Raiders, they did as much as they can do, Paul.
You can't put that pit ball against that game car.
So they did what they wanted to do.
But it wasn't enough, you know.
When it comes down to it, this Chiefs team is back.
Like he just said, eight months ago, we was out of it.
We're back, man.
I wish I could play then Lizzie.
The boys are back in town, man.
The boys are back in town.
And for any of you listening, you know the song.
Play it when you see me coming on the show.
The boys are back in town, man.
Man, that's crazy.
Hey, Cam, this is what y'all deal with every week.
every day.
The boys are back in town, man.
Anyway, last take,
anyway, last take,
he just said he's not down with anybody.
Are you down or you're not down?
When you're up, you're not down.
Oh, my gosh.
Pause.
I like that.
Yeah.
Quick on your feet.
Quick on my feet.
All right.
So we know.
if the chiefs go down.
He's not with anybody.
What I'll say is this, man.
And shout out to the chiefs.
Big shout out.
And Brand is right.
I was out for Arabia's sake.
I had some Wi-Fi issues.
But listen, man, for the way Patrick Mahomes is getting better week after week,
Andy Reed, then you got everybody, I'll be back.
Listen, it's really, they smell blood, right?
It was a play.
And the ad,
Ken of Walker, like,
it's just not fair.
This kid's the real deal.
You know, when you see somebody get a good year,
like, let's just say,
Sequin Barkley had a good year a couple years ago.
The next year he's not living up the expectation.
There's a lot of running backs that don't go year after year
doing what they did the year before.
And the ad kind of Walker, this team is amazing.
Yeah.
Any reading them, it was a play where they took Max Crosby out the game.
for a play or two or whatever.
And they smelled blood.
They went right to the right side
where Max Crosby is,
and Kenner Walker ran the ball for 75 yards.
Not only that, then you got special teams issued
where they punching the ball from out there,
the catchers, the person receiving the ball hand after the kick.
It looks, all three phases, they're looking good,
but I will not put this on Kirk Cousins,
and I won't put this on Max Trosby,
because they play sensational.
I seen the beginning of Arabia's sake, and I won't put them as Chrysler 300.
The Raiders are the real deal.
The problem is you're in the division with the real, real deal, which is the Kansas City Chiefs.
But they look good today.
This game was – I watched this game from beginning and end.
This game was neck and neck.
Don't let it reflect.
Even though they got to –
It was a great, great game.
I thought the Raiders were actually going to win this game.
But that just goes to show the knowledge and the expertise.
an experience on the Kansas City Chief.
So congratulations to them.
But I do like the way the Raiders are playing.
And the aura, camp.
Like, it was halftime.
And my wife walked in the room and she was like,
who you think is going to win.
And at halftime, remember, the Raiders was winning.
And I said, the Chiefs,
the Raiders was playing better and they were dominating.
But the reason why I said the Chiefs is because, man,
there's something about going against a cat,
like, can I say Cat, Mace?
Can I say cat?
There's something about going against a cat like Patrick Mahomes.
And when you look on the other side of the field and you see a Tom Brady, you look on
the other side of the field and you see a Lamar Jackson that put so much pressure on the other side,
from the coaches to the players to the grounds crew.
It's really tough.
You got to play a perfect game against these type of teams.
So the Patriot, I mean, excuse me, the Chiefs, it's really cool what they're doing.
And they could get better, Arabia.
They saying Tyreek Hill might come over there.
He might come back.
Yeah, I heard that same thing.
But it's just crazy to me thinking about the roster that they have in Kansas City going back to Kenneth Walker and just thinking like Seattle, what are we doing?
I think the Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs were already a dominant crew.
But what's really pushing them over the edge, and my opinion is that ground game.
We think about complimentary football.
You have the reigning Super Bowl MVP and you just kind of let him walk.
I understand it was a money issue.
But I damn near don't really believe in the Capitol.
way that you can finagle contracts to make room for guys and you paid other guys in the offseason.
But yeah, you're absolutely right. If they get Tyree Hill back, get some of that speed and
veteran presence back in the locker room plus Kenneth Walker plus, I mean, it's just, it's a cheat code.
Price worthy. It's bad. Damn, they're not even fair at that point. Price worthy. It's the team.
It's the team. LeBron does it all the time. Don't start. It's on hour ago, you know.
Stad says Stats has a famous quote, if you can get away with it. If you can get away with it,
That's all I'm saying.
If you can get away with it, pause.
I do say that.
I don't think that.
I didn't know Tyree.
Last thing I'll say real quick.
I didn't know Tyreek is coming back or possibly to come back to them.
What?
It was a report after the game.
It was a report after the game from a credible source that Tyreek,
the chief actually reached out to him.
And I'm not talking about Tyreek here because I like Tyreek here.
I'm not talking about him when I say this.
we just said this about
Eric Vanamy
you love when
the mole holes come back right
and they catch the vapids
oh you ain't like it
in the streets huh
yeah yeah
you want to come back on why
yeah
I ain't talking about Tyreek here
I'm just saying
I ain't bad to me
Tyrie here
you love it when the more
bitches come back man
I ain't talking about
you're pulling your bitches
old to me
I'm just saying
it's something special
about when you
let them go to speak she'd come back like this it's cold out there it's cold it's
something special about that man and amaze real quick as a cheese oh go ahead brennan no i was just
going to say but they needed it though the chief's been struggling patrick mahomes wasn't patrick mahomes
for what four years right when patrick mahomes took the league by storm it was all these sensational plays
and big plays down the field.
Man, the last two years, three years,
he's been dinking and dunking. He was playing like Tom Brady.
Now this year you got Travis Kelsey get married.
I don't know if that has something to do with it,
but now he got like hit the fountain of youth, right?
Eric B. Enemy comes back.
Now in this season, they start off hot,
and now you bring Tyreek Hill.
Now you see him what we saw from Patrick Mahomes years ago.
So, you know, I think they needed each other.
It ain't just the chiefs, you know what I'm saying?
My thing is, my thing is this, Brandon, is that they won a Super Bowl without both them niggas.
It didn't have to be last year, but they won without them.
That's what I'm saying.
It ain't like, okay, last year, whatever the injury, they won without them.
We don't need you to win.
But if you want to come home with, you know we win at, come back.
I don't know, man.
And you know, but it's a bigger conversation, though, for those guys.
You don't know.
This is why. This is why. Let me tell you why. Because when you look at Andy Reed and Patrick Mahomes, they're not, this is like the conversation we had earlier where you're like, well, Tom Brady went 33 and two in Buffalo, whatever you said, his record is again, in Buffalo. Then you try to compare me to Tom Brady, right? When you talk about Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reed and you got to compare them to Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, 19 years, right? What they did there and how they dominated.
So for Patrick Mahomes, his career would be a failure if he's not close to Tom Brady,
if he don't get to five Super Bowls.
So one Super Bowl, okay, good, but where are you at now?
What's happening?
This is the game they're playing.
Who's your team, Brandon?
Who's your team?
Hold on.
Hold on.
Before you get that, Brandon, where they're at there, they're 4-0.
What you just said previously with Patrick Mahomes coming off a severe injury last year.
They're 4-0.
We don't, and not saying that they played good last year, but Tom Brady didn't win every year.
Even though we talk about him as a goat, Joe Montana didn't want every year.
Nobody wins every year.
And Tom Brady had a plethora of receivers, you know, even though he had Randy Morse once he talked about West Welk.
Diggins that he made in the stars, taking pay cuts to get niggas there.
So Patrick Mahomes still has a lot of years left.
So we, you know, not saying that Tyree Kill is an asset.
He's definitely asset.
I wouldn't want Tyree Kill if I'm Kansas City.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
And it's not wrong to reach out to him.
But he wanted to go get that money and sometime taking the money, you know, that's that.
But don't complain when you're not winning.
We've seen Tyreeks Hill Instagram account, and he had Antonio Brown with the Pisan as a screen saver or whatever you want to call it.
He didn't want to be in Miami no more.
And Miami is a beautiful place to be.
You want to win, you want to win.
Yeah.
And you said one Super Bowl.
We got three.
What do you mean?
No, since Tyreek left.
Oh, okay, okay.
Since Tyreek left, yeah.
And then real quick, before I move on to Rams Eagles, Mace, as a Chiefs fan, as Mr. Tidal Town, and I see why Brandon's going to do.
I'm not a fan, stat.
I'm a part of the organization.
Now we've got to watch our words.
It's so belittal.
Do you want Tyreek Hill to come back if the opportunity presented itself?
I'm going to have to talk with him.
I'm going to have to talk with him.
I don't even know why I ask
Got it. Tyreek Hill, we need that combo.
Mace, right?
We need answers.
We need answers.
Yeah, Brandon, know how this is.
Just because you're a good player,
you got to talk to guys before you add them to the team, right?
What's going to be your first question?
What's your first question to him?
It's what questions he have for me?
Because he has a place.
He has to convince me that he's worthy of being a part of this team
because we don't need egos.
Right now, we're playing too well.
We don't need somebody coming in and mess the chemistry up,
thinking they should have got more catches.
Pause, I just don't have time for it right now.
We're rolling.
And you got to watch who you add.
You got to watch who you add to the team, right?
I pay attention to the people I get rich with.
I pay attention to the people I get poor with,
and I stay away from the ones I got poor with.
It's just that easy.
People say, Mace, why you don't call me?
I get poor with you, so I don't call you.
That's a quote of the day.
Can't be mad at that.
Hey, wise words from Mace.
Hey, Tyreek, we'll be expecting that conversation with Mace.
Let's see.
So next game, Rams beat the Eagles 24 to 20.
Saquan was ruled out in the first quarter after right hamstring injury.
And this is the Eagles second loss in a row.
Arabia, do you still see the Eagles as a strong team?
or are you starting to see too many issues within them?
How are we feeling about this game?
I never really saw the Eagles as this super dominant team coming into the season.
I knew that they were going to be competitive week to week.
I knew that they would keep themselves in games,
but I wasn't high on Philly like I was a couple seasons ago.
So this is about expected, especially against a team like the Rams.
Three things really stood out to me this game.
Number one, the Rams scored 10 unanswer points.
The Philly was up 20 to 10 and they couldn't hold down the court.
The second thing, which was huge,
they were 0 for 12 on third down.
O for 12, you don't want to find yourself
in these really messed up, laid down situations.
And the third thing is actually good for Philly.
With Devante Smith out,
Darius Cooper really stepped up
and he became Jalen Hertz's favorite target.
So it was good to see the next man that really step up.
We saw Sequan Barkley go out of the game.
Lane Johnson, unfortunately,
did not play this game due to personal reasons.
I hope everything's okay with him and his family.
Pukkahua came back from a back injury,
or from an injury,
as Cameron would say,
Pooka Nua by himself had 125 yards.
So this was a good win for the rent.
Pookie!
This was a good win for the Rams,
especially because they hadn't won in Philly
in the previous two games.
And this is potentially a playoff game, et cetera, et cetera.
So good win for the Rams,
but this is about par for the course
for who I thought the Eagles were going to be this season.
Okay.
Brandon.
So, so Arabia, you hit the football aspect, you know, brilliantly.
I want to cover the bigger story, right?
And what's going to come tomorrow,
with all the Monday morning quarterbacks.
Jalen Hertz is the most disrespected figure
that's ever touched the football field.
And the reason why I'm saying that now, Arabia,
is because tomorrow they're going to say how he's terrible.
They're going to talk about he only threw for 98 yards.
But what they're not going to say is that DeVonte Smith wasn't there.
Saquant Barclay went down in the first quarter and Goddard.
Their tight end was inactive the entire game.
And the defense gave up 14 points.
in the fourth quarter. So, you know, I like where this team is. It's really hard to be successful
and move the ball efficiently when you don't have your top guys out there. You know, I don't know
what else Jalen Hertz can do. All he does is win. Now, obviously, we're talking about this
after a loss, Cam, but I wanted to get ahead of it, man, because that's what people don't do.
That's not what they're going to do tomorrow. They're not going to talk about why they lost this game.
They're not going to break it down that way.
Hey, good angle.
Mace, thoughts.
Yeah, I can't go with that, Brandon.
You're having a rough first day.
Pause.
When we're thinking about Jaylen Hurts.
I was waiting for this.
Be careful.
He got 93.
Pause.
He's due for 93 yards, right?
But when you think about it,
Sequin went out in the first quarter.
The second quarter, they had 17 points.
So I'm not seeing where the debacle is.
Without them on the floor, they score 17 points.
But then in the next half, they get shut down to zero.
So it wasn't Saquan alone.
It was just the choices he was making.
I actually like Jalen Hurst as a quarterback.
I think they do need to put more respect on his name.
But when it's time to be Superman, you got to be Superman.
You can't be looking for other people to bail Superman out.
That's why you're the quarterback.
Can I ask you a question?
Yes.
What's your favorite song you've ever recorded?
Hmm.
Probably more money, more problems.
More money, more problems.
When you went in the studio, who was in the studio with you?
Me.
Nah, you were an engineer.
You had a producer.
Who else did you have in there?
Were you able to make that?
Would you have been able to make that
if you didn't have those people with you?
You see how I put that together?
So now we're going to connect music and-
You're not letting me answer, though.
Okay.
I would have been able to make it without them.
Hmm.
No.
We need the caps.
We need the caps.
Boots on the ground.
Boots on the ground
Boots on the ground
No actually
Because I did create the song
I actually created this song by myself
They just came in and got on
The song
Yeah but you know
The reason why I brought that up
Like that is because
You got to have an engineer
You got to have somebody pressing the buttons
Right
You got to have a team around you
And it's really hard for a quarterback
To be successful
If they don't have their guys out there
That's why I brought that analogy up
I get it.
You're looking for a way out.
I don't look for one.
I get it.
I'll think so differently and it's really cool to see.
He's looking for a way out, Cam.
I understand that mindset.
You're looking for the bailout.
No, I ain't no bailout.
Yeah.
That's it.
I get it, though.
Stuff get hot.
You got to go get your guys.
These are good.
These are good questions.
I think everybody touched on this topic.
Well,
I will say this though real quick about what Brandon just said.
Maybe, maybe back then you didn't need all them people.
Today, you don't need anybody to put a song out.
You could make your own beat.
True.
You could get logic.
You can set up your microphone.
You record it.
You can upload it.
And so you don't need anybody today.
That's facts.
But damn.
Or you can go to AI and tell them to do it for you.
Right.
Right.
Definitely a lot of
Reesmases.
In that case, that was a good analogy.
This is a good conversation.
Okay, moving on to the Texans.
So they're now O-N-Four after losing to the Cowboys,
34 to 30.
There was a question asked D'Amico Ryan's about overcoming an
own-for start.
He said, you stick together and you keep going.
That's what it is.
All these games, we've been in these games,
we've just got to find a way to finish these games.
That's what it is.
It's own for, that's our record.
Basically went on to say there's no pointing fingers,
no blaming.
You look within yourself,
and you have to figure out what to do,
to be better to get it corrected.
So Arabia, do you think D'Amico Ryan's and C.J. Stroud should be on the hot seat
or you think like they need a little bit more time because Brandon was saying earlier, still earlier weeks.
What are your thoughts there?
Yeah.
So I think in general, quarterbacks these days don't get the same amount of time to develop.
So in terms of C.J. Stroud's career in general is still very early for him.
However, in this particular situation, yes, I do think that D'Amico slash C.J. Stroud are maybe not the hot seat, but the warm.
seat. They're looking at them sideways. They already
has sort of a blueprint on how to get
themselves out of O and 3 because they did it last year. They got a couple
games into the playoffs second in their division. They ended the
season 12 and 5. But O and 4 is crazy. And
again, C.J. Strauss contract negotiations
are going to start up before we know it. They're going to be looking
back and be like, okay, well, what have you done for us?
We don't love starting the season in a hole like this and behind like this.
So yeah, unfortunately, and I say
unfortunately, because I love the story of
the Miko Ryans playing for this team and then coming
back and being the head coach.
I'm rooting for that black man.
And C.J. Strout, I think has potential.
I don't think he's all bad.
I think he just has some really unfortunate moments where he doesn't protect the ball
and it really affects the game.
But Nico Collins, obviously coming back was a huge game changer for them.
But really the Cowboys offense, we saw how special that Cowboys offense was.
And what C.D. Lam did today.
The second most receptions in Cowboys history I think was really special.
But like I've been saying all season,
super impressed with the cowboys have done defensively but offensively they can really get a lot of good stuff done
a bright spot for me with houston is woody marks and i spent a lot of the off season looking at the all 22 of
woody marks and he not only runs the ball very well but he's not too good for these off ball assignments
he'll chip and pass bro he you can you can he can receive out of the backfield into the flats there's a lot
that he does and being behind a guy like david montgomery you know you're going to kind of have to share those carries but i think
what he marks is somebody that the NFL should really look at,
and I hope I can see him continue to grow in this league.
So not all bad for Houston, but definitely O and 4,
you're going to have to make some tangible changes,
either with players or coaches.
Y'all tough.
Y'all tough on it is what it is.
Real tough.
And Mace, I already know if you had the general manager hat on and he was the Texans,
you would probably already clean house.
But what I'm going to say to you, General Manager, Mace, is not so fast.
And the reason why I'm telling you that is because you're going to go back to where you was.
Do you remember where you were, Mace?
Do you remember where you were before D'Amico Ryans came and C.J. Stroud came?
Y'all was winning three games a year.
Three in this, three and that, four and that.
And then all of a sudden, D'Amico Ryans comes in in the last, what, three or four years,
it's 10 and 7, 10 and 7, 12, and 5, and now you have this year.
So one bad start or one bad year, now we're going to fire these guys.
We're going to say they're in a hot seat?
Are you kidding me?
Do we remember where the Houston, Texas were just a few years ago?
And then also to CJ Strauss the same conversation that we just had with Jalen Hertz.
Jalen Hertz depleted.
Everyone around him, depleted.
Same thing with CJ Stroud.
His number one receiver just got back and he's probably at 70%.
Tankdale still ain't even dressed in Arabia.
Am I correct?
Fact check.
Help me out there.
Arabia is tankdale out there?
No, he ain't out there.
What's happening?
What kind of offensive line does he have in front of him?
And he's still playing great football.
That's the crazy part.
C.J. Stroud is playing great football these last couple of games, but he has nothing out there for him.
Right?
Today that defense let them down.
And that's disappointing because to me that's their strength.
And that's why they've been so successful since the Miko Ryan's has taken over General Manager Mace.
I'm glad you said General Manager Mace because I'm going to speak.
speak to you from the gym's perspective right now. Okay. So you got this this quarterback who's playing,
he's putting up good numbers, but we never win. Right. So one aspect is that we got to surround
them with more talent. Then there's the aspect that some players play good, but they're not
winners. Just because you won in college doesn't mean you're a winner in the National Football League.
Is that correct? That's true. All right.
So we're looking at a player that hasn't shown us he can win.
And when you look at this team, this is a guy who bet on himself.
We came to him to give him the money he was looking for, and he thought he should get more
money.
He bet on himself.
This was a bad bet on yourself year.
I mean, from a GM perspective.
And when you look at this, you're losing to the Cowboys.
Somebody, if there was no game, you were supposed to win.
You got to win the game that's in your back.
This is a rival game.
You're Dallas against Houston.
If you don't win no other games, this is the game you got to win.
This is for bragging rights.
This is walking around the city.
We're a spectacle.
We're a laughing stock because of what you let Dak come in this place and do.
Dak did what he was supposed to do.
Win the game.
Dak was going through this year after year.
People saying he's putting up numbers, but they're not winning.
Even though today they're only two and two.
It beats being o' and four.
is going to end up being the worst record we've seen in quite some time.
Would you rather be 4 in 10 or would you rather be O in 10?
Which one would you like to be?
Because this is what is looking like C.J. Strout is taking these guys to it.
If something doesn't happen soon, it's not going to matter.
They put up 30 points.
This is the debacle waiting to happen.
I think it's a horrible place for C.J. Stroud to be.
I wish him better.
These is what happened in light skin quarterbacks.
I'm just,
I'm just here to tell it to you.
And light skin quarterbacks.
Oh, gosh.
Okay, so I'll respond to that.
I know Cam, Cam, but go ahead, Cam.
So you was like where the Texans was at before this?
Texans actually was decent a little while ago.
They had Deshawn Watkins.
They had DeAndre Hopkins.
They decided to get rid of DeAndre Hawkins.
Deshaun Watson threw a tantrum.
He didn't want to be there.
And then all of a sudden, the massage just come out.
It wasn't like they were.
was in the dumps.
There's in dumps a couple years trying to rebuild,
but don't act like the Texas wasn't making the playoffs
and all that a few years ago before Deshaun Watson left.
And D'Andre Hopkins was there.
They had a good tandem.
They just got broken up.
And why did they get broken up?
Because they wasn't getting over the hump.
And that's back to what general managers do.
What is going to get us over the hump?
They got us, they know, they revived theirself.
And we're thinking about CJ Strutt a couple years ago, right?
And we're like, yo, he's ascending.
He's going to be one of them ones.
now I don't know I may want Bryce Young over C.J. Strut the way Bryce Young is looking.
Yeah, Bryce is ball.
We was talking about two years ago how it was, you could get into a North Carolina game with 50 cents.
You could get in the rules, $1.22 to get in the game.
Some shit like that.
Yeah, they was giving away tickets.
Yeah, exactly.
And I like the way Bryce Young looks better than C.J. Strout, not only that, to Mesa's point.
This is a contract here.
And I understand what you're saying, Brandon, is that he doesn't have his pieces out there.
And I understand, like, you have a heart and a soft heart and your soul spying your heart for these players.
But let me ask you this in your career, have you been to the, and I'm just, I'm being, I just don't know.
Have you been to the Super Bowl?
I have not.
This is why you feel sorry for niggas.
Who you haven't been there.
Hey, yo.
Yeah, kill me.
Yeah.
There's no mercy.
Come on.
Yeah.
Come on.
You ain't been there,
so you want to feel sorry for everybody.
Yeah.
You ain't going.
No, listen.
You want to give trophies to everybody.
No, no.
You give trophies to everybody.
We don't get all.
Let me.
Let me.
Let me tell you why.
Let me tell you why.
And look, look,
your boy,
my guy,
Stephen A. Smith,
You know, he was pissed at something I said recently, right,
where I talked about how him and Skip Bayless changed, you know,
how we cover athletes.
Now, obviously, that narrative been out there for a very long time.
So me being in those shoes for 13 years, I hate it playing the game.
And then after the game, someone who didn't really watch the game,
like how Arabia watched the game and break down the game,
you got people out there that's not doing that.
And then they're giving these takes or.
these comments and it's not true.
So when I started doing
television, I said, you know what? I'm always
going to keep myself in the athlete's seat.
Right? And I'm going to protect my guys.
When they wrong, they wrong. But when
I see it, when I know it, I'm going to call it
right. And so C.J. Stroud and
D'Amico Ryan's, yeah, like
they won when
the Sean was there, but then it was three years,
Cam, where they average three and
a half wins per year.
Four wins, three wins. Three wins.
And then D'Amico Ryan came in and
took them to the playoffs and took them to the playoffs again and then won 12 games.
So why would you fire coach?
Do we know how hard it is to find a good coach in the NFL, a guy who can lead men?
We just talked about the old school video vixens and then new school IG and only fans,
etc.
So this generation's mind is so different.
You need a leader of men.
And D'Amico Rines is that.
He got the respect of ownership and he got respect of that locker room.
And then C.J. Stroud, I'm telling you, I had 17 quarterbacks.
That's why I didn't make it to the Super Bowl.
I had 17 quarterbacks.
I was in terrible situations.
Some situations I could not control.
And when I tell you, C.J. Stroud is a good quarterback.
That's a quarterback that I would love to strap it up with.
Pause.
Okay.
I'm good.
There is that clear.
I made it.
That was clear.
Brandon.
Branden.
All right.
I know.
That was wild.
You know.
Brandon.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Wait.
Wait.
Let him finish.
Yeah, let him finish.
Yeah, okay.
Yeah, because I don't want to make y'all highlight real again.
All right.
But, no, so like C.J. Strout, when you look at that, you got to say, no, we got to keep this guy.
And you've got to be able to weed through all that other clutter, all that other nonsense.
That's noise.
That's noise.
You're telling me, quarterback can go out there without his.
He had no receivers to start the year.
Nico Collins on the PUP.
Tank Dale P-U-P.
They go trade for the receiver out of New England.
He gets their late.
Boot, whatever his name is.
Help me out, Ray.
What's his name?
Boot?
What are we talking about here?
What are we talking about here?
Come on, man.
This kid deserves more time.
I completely hear what you're saying.
I really, really do.
However, we have to take a couple things into consideration.
Number one, the Texans are, what, 24 years old?
They've been around since the realignment in 2002.
This is a very young organization compared to a centennial team like the Giants or just some of these teams that have been around forever.
So they are still trying to find their footing.
And in that, you can't keep the same people around seeing that if it doesn't work.
And what I mean by that is, oh and four, something has to change.
Maybe it's not firing D'Amico.
Maybe it's not benching C.J. Stroud or trading him away, letting him walk.
But something has to change.
insanity is doing the same thing over and over again
and expecting different results.
So something has to tangibly change
if they want to see change in Houston.
Maybe it's the GM.
I'm also really not jacking that he doesn't have his one and two
because a team like the 49ers makes it hard
to talk about injuries because they're injured all the time.
The electrical substation is taking niggins out left and right.
But somehow it's always next man up.
They still find a way to win.
Why?
Because I think Lynch over there,
the GM organization over there really knows how to
to draft and to get guys prepared just when they, you know, in case they get injured.
So you're completely right.
Tankdale, Nico Collins was out for a while.
Last year, mixing was out.
Just all this stuff is happening where he doesn't have his guys.
As a commander's fan, a data center is taking out my players.
But at the end of the day, as a team.
Last year, he struggled.
However, but as a team is still next man up.
Hold on.
Hold on. Hold on.
Hold on.
We got this thing up here called line stepping, Brandon, and your line step in Arabia right now.
You can't step on the line.
Okay.
Just bringing them up to speed.
Okay.
Yeah, don't become habitual, okay.
But yeah, I'm just saying at the end of the day with the team,
it has to be next man up.
And there is something to be said for you not having your starters in the game.
But we see teams around the league be able to get it done with their backups.
And that's all that I'm saying.
Maybe it's a GM issue.
You're all tough.
You're all tough.
Can I ask, go ahead.
You're all tough.
Can I speak?
Yeah.
Can I speak?
He's got to go.
Cam has a point.
Then Brandon will go back to you.
Yeah, Brandon.
And when Arabia is talking, right?
So we're hearing about this team being young.
She said it right.
If you're going to change something, what's going to change?
If we can't change the coach, we can't change the quarterback.
We can't change the GM.
What are we changing the cheerleaders?
If you want this team to win, you got to change an important piece of this team.
And another thing that I want us to consider is when we're thinking about this Texan team,
they're just not getting it done.
You can't say that he need more pieces when he's up to 342 yards.
That's the problem.
The problem is he's getting a lot of yards, but he's not getting touchdowns.
We need touchdowns to win the game.
We need three plus touchdowns in order for this Texan team to start winning.
The teams they're playing against, they're putting up touchdowns.
touchdowns.
It's not just yards anymore in this game of football.
It's really touchdowns.
You don't score just with the yards.
You got to get the ball in the end zone.
Pauls.
Cam, then Brandon.
Yeah, what I'll say is this, right?
And Brandon, and first of all, just what Arabia said, about the team being young.
She's right.
Traditionally, it's young.
They're the same age of stat, the Texans.
a year younger.
But when you said,
yo, they went three years
without doing this,
they went three years.
Three years is not really a long time
if you're talking about the Jets.
If you're talking about teams
that I'm just bringing up the Jets,
the Browns.
These are teams been struggling
for decades, the Cowboys.
So you're sitting there saying,
yo, they win the whole three years.
This niggas just going decades,
Brandon, without getting anything done.
So three years is a,
a good turnaround. Three years
is not a bad turnaround. Because you
say, that's what you said. I'm going to let you go
in one second. Because I don't want to
miss a point. So I just don't think three
years is a bad turnaround.
I'm not saying clean house, but something's going to have to get
done. And it's also bad.
Like, you know, CJ Stratton
bet on himself this year for a contract
year. I know at the end of the year
and I know, you know,
on the show may seem like a bad guy, but when he gets on the
phone, I may be worse than him.
in secret.
I may got $42 for C.J. Strout.
He keeps this shit up.
I'm just telling you.
You see it happened to Sam Donald, right?
Even though he went to win the Super Bowl with the Seahawks,
it cost them that money, you know, when he was in Minnesota.
Two bad games.
He had two bad games.
It cost them tens of millions of dollars.
That's the way it goes.
Second thing I'll point is this, right?
Because you made a point how you were saying that, you know,
after you're playing, you want to make sure that you're careful what you say because you're a former player.
Is that correct?
No, I don't say careful.
No, not careful.
No.
Okay.
So what was the words you used?
I said when I retire, I wanted to make sure that I always kept the athlete's perspective at the forefront.
Then that's great.
But at the end of the day, let me tell you something, I never played.
I never played on a professional level
and I got injured in college.
So the time I got back home,
we as rappers before I even could finish my college career.
I was 20 years old when I got a deal.
I should have still been in college.
Thank you, Mason.
But what I'll say is this,
I didn't really understand basketball.
And not you.
I'm not talking about you.
I'm just saying sometime.
Until you stop playing.
Because you're so in love with what you do
that you can't see from the outside looking in
because you're in dresser.
I'm not talking about you.
I'm just talking about certain people.
And so when I used to play,
I used to be, yo, this, stand, and third.
And then when I stopped playing,
I used to be like, yeah, I used to do that.
That's dumb.
That's stupid.
That don't make sense.
And sometimes when you come in this chair
that you're sitting in now as an analyst,
you're going to lose friends.
I talk to Kendrick Perkins all the time.
You know what I mean?
People don't speak to them no more.
He told me, LeBron James don't send his son sneakers no more.
Because he has a job to do.
And him and LeBron may have been, I'm just from Kendrick Perkins's perspective, him and
LeBron was friends growing up, you know, through high school and everything else.
But at the end of the day, he has a new job to do, and you may lose old friends because of the
new job that you have to do.
And that's just that when you sit in the seat.
I'll ask you one question before I'll let you go.
Do you think playing football, right, is all football, or do you think it's a source of entertainment
as well?
For the players, for a lot of players, it's, it's football.
But for a lot of players, it's football.
But it really is, but it really is entertainment around everyone else.
And if a player really understand that, they'll do better.
That's my point, right?
And I'm not just talking about football players.
I'm talking about athletes in general.
Athletes in general don't understand the entertainment value of sports.
Could you have basketball players getting mad, football players,
get bad, boxers to get mad, and they'd be like, oh, you never did this before.
Oh, you never did this before.
How would you know that you, how would go to stand?
You're, we're here.
Half the people there are there to be entertained.
Half the people that go to that stadium, just know that they live in the city of Kansas
City, and they don't know none of these stats that you in Arabia are talking about
on myself or Mace.
They know if we won or they know if we lost because they're general fans and then the
city.
Same thing like boxers.
There's something like, oh, you get in the ring and you try it.
Half the people that go there are there for entertainment value.
And when you're a player, a basketball player, football, player, a boxer,
if you don't understand business, then you don't understand business, right?
Because they're trying to fill seats up and they're trying to pull eyeballs on the television.
That is business from a boxing promoter standpoint.
That is business from an owner's standpoint in the NFL or an owner's standpoint in the NBA.
Of course you want to win championships, but the thing is,
to also make money when you do this.
And a lot of people,
this athletes don't understand
the business aspect when it comes to sports
because they're too entrenched in the sport.
I've just seen a commercial with Cam Scataboo for Allstate.
You know how many running backs is better than Cam Scataboo?
But he's marketable.
He's going to be there.
It's a million niggas better.
I didn't see a bunch of niggas.
I had a Camp Scataboo in the Allstate commercial.
I've seen it five times yesterday when I was watching
game marketable you're there to put asses and to see eyeballs on the television and they're too
in dressing in your sport you won't realize that i just wanted to point that out yeah cam cam as a
as a as a gym i wouldn't have said it better well both of you guys are wrong but but listen
listen i i hear i hear what you're saying but both can be true cam um a player could put the game
first as they should, but also there's the entertainment side. And that's why we love it.
That's why we watch it because you don't want a player out there who's not passionate about
what they do or they don't feel like that's their purpose, right? That don't give them that
type of fulfillment. So, you know, the way you got to separate it is a young player
coming in, when they don't understand the media engine and the machine around them, that's
when they take it personal and they get emotional, right? That's when I look at a player
and say, oh, you don't understand
you're in an entertainment business.
But the reality of this whole thing is,
is when they go out there,
the only thing that matters is wins and losses.
When we cross that field, that's the only thing that matters.
So both can be true, and they should be true.
So the players like Scataboo who can go out there
and just ram his head into 20 players a game,
he got that figured out on the field.
But then when he get off, he stays into his character.
That's good for business.
So that's that.
And then when we go back to, you know, the football conversation as far as the Texans being in a tough spot right now, you made my point, Cam.
You made my point when you brought up the Jets and the Browns.
That's why you keep a D'Amico Ryan's.
That's why you keep a C.J. Stroud.
Look at those organizations.
There's other organizations out there as well that's been in, you know, NFL purgatory for 20, 30 years where they haven't sniffed the Super Bowl because they,
rotate coaches every two years, every three years, or they don't have, they've never had a
quarterback. So for these guys to be in year four together and overall be successful, it makes
sense to keep them so you're not the Jets or the Browns. Now, if this happens year two, now that's
a different story. But right now, it's way too early to say that CJ Stroud and D'Amico Ryan's
should be on the hot seat. Now, Arabia, I agree with you when you say, you know, something
has to change 100%
and you know what has to change? They got to get healthy.
They got to get healthy. Now, year
two, year three of not being healthy
and you're losing, they don't care
about those excuses. Why? Because of what
Cam just said, it is the entertainment business.
The fans get louder. The
owners start listening to it and then they make
a move. Okay, Brandon,
let me ask you a football question because we don't
know football. I don't know football, okay?
Y'all know football. Is a QBR
of 54 good?
That's all I want to know is a QBR of 54 good.
That's all I want to know before I walk off.
Because I don't know football, you know.
What do I know?
That ain't what you want.
That ain't what you want.
That's what we're looking at.
That's what we're looking at when we think of C.J. Strout.
He's at 54.7.
And, but he had 300 yards.
Sorry, my apology.
To add on me, I get what you're saying.
I'm not calling.
for their jobs.
But there's no football team or basketball team
every year that's the same.
And Arabia made a great point.
If you keep the,
the,
she brought it up with,
you know,
Calh Shanahan and Brock Purdy, whatever.
If you keep the next man mentality up,
this is what you have 53 players for.
And I'm not saying everybody's going to be as good
as the first string,
but you have to make sure
that you have decent second string.
At least to get you three,
I haven't seen an injury-free season yet.
I'm looking for one.
I haven't seen it ever.
People are going to get hurt.
So what I'm saying is this,
and I get what you're saying too, Brandon,
give it some time,
but I'm sorry to tell you if nobody gave you to notice,
we in a what have you done for me lately ever?
That's just the way it is, man.
We're just in a what have you done for me lately era,
and if you haven't done nothing late for me lately,
then that's just the way it goes.
I'm a Cam Ward fan.
They're talking about taking Cam Ward out.
He's not producing, and he doesn't have to help, in my opinion.
But they're talking about maybe we need to sit up.
It's not my call.
I'm only watching.
And if you haven't, if you ain't doing good for me lately, it's going to call for change.
We see stadiums boo their own players.
And it's Philly, especially Philly.
It's just the way it is, man.
And I get what you're saying.
You're not wrong.
but you're not right.
Okay.
No, you got to separate.
Brandon, I'll let you say one.
Yeah, and then Arabia.
Yeah, no, I just want to say there are only 11 starters on,
there are only 11 starters on each side of the ball.
So if you're having problems with your personnel, again,
injuries are part of the game.
You can't predict them and you don't hope for them.
However, you got to take a look at depth.
If the next man up is such a far reach from your starter,
then maybe you need to just look at what you're doing in the offseason,
how you're drafting, free agency,
what you're trading is like.
Which is why I'm saying maybe it's a GM issue.
Maybe it's a talent issue.
I'm not sure.
But you're absolutely right.
Yes.
Your starters being out is going to affect the game and you would like to be healthy.
But that's just not realistic for you to have an injury-free team,
which is why you have to make sure that you're taking care of depth instead of just your starters.
Okay.
Brandon, your rebuttal.
No, it's more complex than that.
That's where you have to separate.
And it's where leadership comes in.
You have to separate the noise.
That's us.
what we're talking about and
the blogs and then
they're sitting down and weeding
through like what is, right?
And there's some of these topics you've got to look
at and say, there's nothing my general
manager can do. There's nothing my
quarterback can do. And actually, he's actually
thriving in this situation.
Now, there are situations that
where it's like, yo,
the situation suck and you suck.
But that's not this case.
That's fair. I think y'all can...
Let me ask one question before I go. This is the last thing.
Sorry, Statt.
All good.
How did Tom Brady start playing in the NFL, Brandon?
Bletsso went down.
Bletsu went down and he took over.
The next man up, right?
100%.
All right.
I'm good.
But he's an anomaly, though.
But he's an anomaly.
I'm not.
So Brock Purdy's anomaly to.
He's an anomaly.
49 has got a lot of interest.
I've been so many anomalies.
Red fall of is, too.
He's an anomaly.
You're talking about, you're not, you're not talking about, you're not talking about, you're not talking about, you're not talking about one of the best football players ever.
You're talking about one of the best athletes ever.
He's an anomaly.
And then there's other cases out there as well where next man out.
Aaron Rogers is too.
No, but guys, this is, this is good.
This is good.
I think it's a good discussion, but we'll put a pin here, right?
Because y'all all have different perspectives, but they're all valid.
perspectives because I see where Brandon's coming from.
I also see where Mason Cameron comes from Arabia.
I'm facts.
But it's all different perspectives because you guys are coming at it from different angles,
but all around it's a good discussion and conversation.
I like where Brandon coming from.
You got to get the opposite side of coin too.
Yes.
And we'll see what the audience thinks.
Okay.
Y'all engage in the comments too and let us know what y'all think and whose perspective
you guys agree with more.
But y'all on that note, that is all the time that we have for today.
This is a great discussion.
Brandon.
It was a pleasure to have you back on the show.
So I think this is actually my first time even being able to interact with you.
I don't think we have.
So great to have you back.
Yes.
Yeah, we'll dig deeper next time.
Yes.
Hey, yo.
I guess.
I'll talk this about like this.
I guess.
No, Rayby.
Why you do that?
No, Rayby.
I do know what I mean, though.
I'm saying we would have more time.
We would have more time.
That's all I'm saying.
Are we done?
Well, why we not talk about my commanders?
I had a whole thing that I wanted to talk about
and letting y'all know what the actual deal with my team was.
Arabia, we let you, we called you in for other days.
You said your Wi-Fi went down.
You couldn't be there.
You don't want to get on the show on Maurice.
You're ducking her.
Yeah, you're ducking him.
Nobody's ducking.
Calling for HR.
Yeah, I am calling for HR, but I'm not ducking no stuff.
That's fine.
I'll get my shit.
If you want to come on tomorrow, we'll be talking about the commanders tomorrow.
You're welcome.
Who going to be the guess on tomorrow?
There's no guess.
It's just us.
She won't be playing.
Rabia Big Sis, always good to have you.
This is a great discussion, y'all.
That is all the time that we have for today.
Thank you all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
