wasn't playing um i've been traveling most of last night just getting here this morning. But that's troubling to me because throughout the playoffs all these superstars are missing. Kawhi Leonard's hurt. Sorry, sorry America. Kawhi Leonard's hurt. Jalen Brunson is hobbled.

The big tall nigga poor Zingas is out for Boston. Every time the NBA builds these superstars up, they let us down in the postseason. And if you think that the Cavs are going to win against Boston without Donovan Mitchell, that's problematic. They can't win with Donovan Mitchell. They won one game with him.

With him not playing, no, they're not going to win. I know it was a tightly contested game, but it's not going to happen. And as far as them winning the series, this series is over with. They'll be waiting on who wins Indiana and New York, and we'll see what happens from there. But as far as this series, I was interested the first two games then when i seen donovan mitchell wasn't playing i'm like what are we doing what are we doing here um so i think we need to figure out how we could keep the superstars uh aligned so it could be tightly contested games in the playoffs i'm not paying attention to the series i'm paying attention to it more than i was

paying attention to orlando and cle, but let's be realistic. The Cleveland Cavaliers, as much as I love Ohio and beyond, the whole state, you're not going to beat the Boston Celtics without Donovan Mitchell. Now, I know they only won by five, six, seven points, whatever it was, but that's not realistic. Yeah, this game, I didn't think that, I mean, nobody thought the Cavs was going to beat the Celtics in a series.

But when you look at this series, number one, I think LeBron being there was really interesting. You know, him and Rich Paul, shout out to LeBron and Rich Paul. And I hate that they came on a game that they lost. I wish it would have been a game they won. But I want to talk a little bit about that too. Your boy showed up. Your boy Tatum showed up. He finally looked like, this is the Tatum I'm looking for.

Nine for nine from the free throw. He had 33 points, 11 reb rebounds and five assists and two steals this is the game even um holiday showed up so all of the people that there's been an apb out for you know in in title town because how you show up different places is different than how you show up on title town this is how we want to see you show up on Titletown. And even they had the guy Pritchard. I think he's going to be a key player if they're going to win a championship. You're going to need somebody coming off the bench and getting that 10 to 15 points.

And I'm glad to see that they're taking Titletown serious. Now, with Garland having 30, they're not going to win with garland getting 30 when your point guard is getting 30 and 40 it becomes hard for everybody else to get into the florida game i mean that's that should be common sense in basketball but it doesn't seem like people get that i have two things to say about what you say yeah so. So Tatum could be Batman and they win. Two things could be right at the same time. I guess that's what we're. Yeah, two things could be right.

to say. But I mean, when it comes down to players that we were looking for, obviously he is a player that we were looking for to perform and to be present. Granted, I'm pretty sure he had an injury so he couldn't make it, but injuries happen. We see Joel Embiid playing through an injury. We see that that's always not the best outcome. I wouldn't necessarily say that they're not a real team, but I was gonna ask you guys, so I know you guys were talking about the Cavs. Hold on to that real quick,

because I have one more point before you get to the next thing. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. That was A, about Batman, and so I figured out that the Joker wasn't there. So that's what happened with that. And secondly, you said point guards leading the team and scoring 30 is not going to work. When I said Jalen Brunson gets 40 and they don't win,

I think the magic would have gave them a harder series pause for real, because they match up in all of the areas that that you're you're thinking about probably not in the two guard but everywhere else they're they're they're like equivalent in a lot of ways i'm not mad at cleveland playing the um boston celtics either or i think what the NBA is lacking, pardon me, Adam Silver is lacking picking

up on new superstars and trying to make, and trying to not say pacify, feed us to the aging superstars that may not be, that may be on their way out. Like we talked about this leading into the playoffs. Is it going to be a change in the guard? Is Steph Curry going to be there? Is Kevin Durant going to be there? Is LeBron Curry going to be there? Is Kevin Durant going to be there? Is LeBron James going to be there? And none of the players are there.

And to be honest with you, sitting here at this desk with Mace, I've heard more about Banchero all season than I've seen on TV than I heard the NBA talking about and the analysts talking about, so on and so forth. So that's up to the NBA to figure out, okay, these teams are on the rise. We need to get them more televised games so that the general public, and even though I'm more than a general public, I'm supposed to be keeping up with everything. We need to make sure that the general public knows who Orlando is, knows that they

wasn't in the play on. They've been in third, fourth, fifth, sixth place all season. Know that Cleveland's been sticking around, staying outside the play-on all season long. And it seems like they're slacking, trying to hold on to the aging superstars instead of showing the general public the new superstars that are up and coming. So I know that really wasn't your question, but it's towards your question.

We should have seen where we've been more comfortable with Orlando playing. Maybe if they had more national televised games, people were like, nah, them niggas is high. Nah, them niggas is good. You know what I'm saying? And like I said, Mace talked about Ben Cheryl more than I heard any other analyst talk about him.

No matter if it's a podcast, it doesn't matter if it's ESPN, it doesn't matter if it's FS1. That's how I got familiar with him and learned that he was on the rise of being an all-star. But that's up to the NBA. As far as who should be playing him, either or I wouldn't have been mad at. I'm going to go with Cleveland because out of both teams, I'm more familiar with Donovan Mitchell than anybody else yeah and if we say if you say

killer about the aging superstars what do we call those teams because I think they weren't looking for Cleveland they were looking for Miami they were looking for Philadelphia so when those teams are out even the Knicks they weren't really looking for the. So when those teams are out, even the Knicks, they weren't really looking for the Knicks. So what do we call that? Like an Asian superstar. What name would you give that? I'm not sure because at the

end, it's called an Asian superstar is the name I would give them, but the thing about it is it's not beyond belief that these teams would still be in the playoffs right now. Even leading up to the playoffs, I'm like, now Steph Curry and them are going to pull something off. They're going to get in there.

Kevin Durant and Phoenix with Booker and Bradley, they're going to get to the next round. LeBron and them, only reason I said that they probably wouldn't get to the next round as far as the Lakers are concerned is because they're playing Denver. If they played OKC, I would have been like they got a chance but I'm not sure exactly that's why I said agent superstar on teams I don't know exactly what you would call it but I'm not counting them out 100% because with the workout the nutrition the medicine that these players are playing and they're playing way past the time people were playing, the medicine that these players are playing in, they're playing way past the times people were playing in the 80s or 90s or even early 2000s. You know, you got LeBron on his 21st season

looking like it may be his 10th, 11th season. You got KD, who's 36 years old. Steph Curry's 35 years old. You know, these are ages that people usually retire. Dwyane Wade, to me, he didn't look good to me his last three, four years. You got to realize, we forget Dwyane Wade went to Chicago. Then he was in Cleveland for a minute. You don't do that to Dwyane Wade.

You just throw him around like that. But he retired at age 36. You know what I'm saying? Carmelo Anthony, another superstar. He couldn't find a team. He was on Portland. Then he was on OKC. Then he finished with the Lakers.

And it's like, what do you call that? Because Carmelo's probably 38, 39. Well, LeBron's 39. He's going to be probably 40 years old. I think he's a year older. But these players are playing well into their late 30s or mid-30s as to where people are retiring at 33, 34 years old. So I don't want to say that they're out and they're old

because they're still performing at a high level. But you got to give these young guys some credit as well. Yeah, they're going to have to do more marketing to these other cities, like you said, because these are like uncommon contenders. But if they are beat, like even New York, they beat Philly with Joel Embiid. So it's not like he wasn't present. He was present, and he had 50 in the game. And 35.

Yeah, so he was definitely – this sends Philly back to the drawing board. But I was more concerned when I saw LeBron at the game. I was thinking about, would it be crazy if his son was picked up by Cleveland? Well, his son, one thing for sure, two things for certain. I'm not sure what we're talking about, but he looked really good at the combine, the NBA combine. He looked really, really good. Yeah, that's why I said that. Shout out to the James family.

I just like to be fair. I have nothing against LeBron. The reason why it seems like you do, because you keep saying you have nothing against LeBron. You have to keep saying that. Because the comments are always like, yo. because you keep saying you have nothing against LeBron. You have to keep saying that. Because the comments are always like, yo. LeBron actually told me to tell you, like, yo, he's like murderous fucking hilarious. He told me to tell you that.

Like, probably a few months ago, we was talking and shit on text, and he's like, yo, that nigga Mase is hilarious. So, yeah, hate towards him is just not understandable. Nigga said my hate. Yeah, look, you you know one thing LeBron and Rich Paul... Look at T.T. You can hate on the whole statement. So I guess Maze real quick before we move on to the next question for the people who think that you're up there to hate, what would you like to say to them? I actually bought a pair of LeBrons, man. I actually bought the 22s. Is it 22 or 21? The gray ones with the silver check. They hurt my feet, but I did buy them.

You know what that sounds like, Mase, when white people be like, I got a black friend. It sounds like you bought them just for this moment, in case somebody says how I'm hating. So the Thunder versus Mavs. They're definitely putting up a tough fight, y'all. Thunder took the win, winning 100-96 to tie the series. How y'all feeling about this series, this game, and then who do you guys think has the next game? Let's go Cam first. You know what's crazy? And I'll be totally honest with you.

I didn't see the end of this game because Dallas was leading and maybe y'all can feel me. And I guess I've been traveling and I didn't get to see the highlights yet or do any due diligence on it. But I left the crib

with like six minutes to go, and Dallas was leading the whole game by seven, eight, nine points. I don't know what the fuck happened from the time I left the crib to the time I'm sitting here this morning on how they lost the game because they were winning the whole game. And I'm sitting here looking at the box score. We know Shea is going to get his 34 points. Chet looked good.

He was robbing today. What I'm seeing right now, and Mason might have more input on it, is Luka 6 for 20 with 18 points. Yeah, they fell apart. Yeah, and Kyrie Irving with 9 points. Luka with 18 points. Kyrie Irving with 9 points. That's not going to cut it.

And to me, these games that they lost, they're looking like last season when they couldn't figure out, yo, you going to be the nigga? Yeah, you going to be the nigga? You going to be the nigga? And they figured that out during the regular season, and now it's some type of glitch in the playoffs. How they collapsed, Mace could probably elaborate more if he's seen the end of the game, which I didn't,

but I seen three and a half quarters where Dallas was winning. So I don't know what happened in the last six minutes. Yeah, it boiled down to me. It boiled down to those free throws that Luka was at the stripe and he missed one of them. He missed the first one. I believe it was 96 to 92. I remember that.

And he made the first. It could have been 94 to 96. And he missed the first one. I was like, oh, they're in trouble. Then he made the second one, but then they let them get a bucket. Then he came back and P.J. did something wild. And I was just like, oh, man, this is not good. Because they could have really been up 3-1.

Looking at it from a basketball point of view, they are absolutely supposed to be up 3-1. That's why I left. That's what I was assuming that happened. I sat there and watched that game for three and a half quarters, and I'm like, this is about to be a 3-1. That's why I left. That's what I was assuming that happened. But one stat that I'm looking at, the team stats, and a big, big disparity is similar to what you said. OKC is 95, 96% from the free throw line, and Dallas is 50%, 52% from the free throw line. You can't shoot 50% from the free throw line in the playoffs.

You can't do that. Yeah, while they was going back to back, bucket for bucket, Chet gets to the line and make both of his free throws. That's really what made them pause, pull away, because they kept needing a basket to be up two, then they up four, and then they start that foul and free throw game. And then before you know it, it was like Chet was hitting his free throws. Luke I didn't hit his.

Then P.J. missed. P.J. almost shot an air ball from the foul line. Crazy. And then Luke I went to the basket and fell. Actually, they bailed Dallas out two or three times because the first time when he was coming around to pick, it should have been five seconds, right? When they was taking the ball out, it was five seconds. And it seemed like they didn't have no timeouts because they kept trying to go full court and not call timeout and advance the ball to half court.

So it was a lot of mental errors in that in that game that they lost that should not have happened with the with the brilliant mind of jason kidd you know yeah i mean like i said i i wish i could dive more into it but i'm not going to say a lot act like i seen the end but from what you're telling me i get get it. I totally get it. Yeah, and then he got the ball, he went to the rack and fell out. And really, it could have been travel, because nobody touched him.

You know one of them, oh, oh, and everybody like, yo, did you foul it? I didn't foul it. Yeah, then when you go to the replay, nobody touched you. Nobody touched him, but he was acting like he was hurt. Gotcha. I was like, I hope he make these free throws. I really would have liked to see Dallas.

But then again, who knows? If Dallas, you want to see Dallas versus Denver? Something about Dallas, and I'm always rooting for Dallas because, you know, we got family that's on the coaching staff. But, you know, I said this. I'm saying from a fan's perspective. Dallas versus, I would have wanted to see Dallas versus Minnesota. I would have wanted to see Dallas versus Minnesota.

It's something about Dallas to me that's not right, and I don't know what it is. Like I said, because you know what it is? What do you mean not right? it may be three or four highlights of them doing something together. Yeah. It ain't some old. They still not on the same team yet. Right, exactly. It isn't like. Like you, have you ever seen Luka, Alioub, the Kyrie?

No, I'm not saying he hasn't, but I haven't seen it. No, that's what I'm saying. You haven't seen it. Those type of players should have pause, special moments. Exactly, same thing. And I know I'm using the creme de la creme and the top of the top pause when it comes to Clay Thompson and Steph

Curry or Draymond. They're in sync. Or when you talk about even looking at with Denver, the way they move around, everybody's in sync with each other. Whether it's Michael Porter Jr., whether it's KCP, whether it's Luka, Luka's getting the ball on the key, everybody's moving. They're in sync, and when it comes to- And they're all cheering for each other. Right, and I'm not saying those two aren't cheering,

but it's just like, y'all two, both could get your own thing, pause, but it's not together, I don't never see that together, so when you ask me what I wanna see them play, it's like, I'm just watching one nigga show off and the other nigga show off pause when they're hot, but it's not in sync and I don't know what that's about. First, Cam, I would just love to know how you use the term creme de la creme, top of the top. But when I said it, I was called out, but- I said pause. How is him and Kyrie gonna sync with each other? That's the question, cuz those are the two superstars on the team. That's the question for Karen. Understood, okay, and then moving along, there is a clip of Paul Pierce on Undisputed that is one of his new roles. And he's talking to one of the co-hosts and he says, look at this nigga Key. That clip is going viral because obviously that aired on live television.

I'm just curious on you guys' thoughts, how you guys feel about his role and then just in general, the turn that you guys see sports media taking, especially on live TV. media taking, especially on live TV?
