Starting point is 00:01:05 Murder was the deal, man. How you? Not doing was good, man. Murder was the deal, man. How you? Not doing too well, man. They robbed me for my cowboy hats. I was in the airport yesterday, and a dude told me, he said, yo, we ain't going to win. I was like, why do you say that? He said, you ain't got your cowboy hat on. If you ain't got your cowboy hat on, the Mavs don't win, killer.
Starting point is 00:01:31 What you got to say about that? You want my honest opinion? He wants your opinion. I don't want your opinion. You just said killer. What do you think about that? Meaning that you want your opinion. I don't want your opinion. You just said killer. What do you think about that? Meaning that you want my opinion. Do you want my honest opinion?
Starting point is 00:01:53 Yes or no? See, that's what you're messing with, all right? My honest opinion is that nigga was flirting with you, man. He told me, I miss you in the cowboy hat. You got to be careful, nigga. You got to be careful. Nigga told me, I ain't see you in the cowboy hat in a minute. Yeah, all right.
Starting point is 00:02:18 You got to be careful. In the cowboy hat. He said, I don't have the cowboy hat. And you from Harlem, you went for that? Nah, I didn't go for it. Nigga, you see how they wear it. I'm not going to get them back in that hat. You better be careful out there.
Starting point is 00:02:42 You better be careful. Nigga, You're talking about Miss Murder and the Cowboy Hat. Now this nigga, yo, Nick, the nigga just yelled out, yeah, you better be careful. I don't like the way you're moving right now, man.
Starting point is 00:03:00 I don't like the way you're moving, man. I don't like the way you move, man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'm killing. That's crazy. You know what's so crazy? No, no.
Starting point is 00:03:16 I'm going to answer that. Yo, you know what's so crazy about you saying that? You flew all these flights out there to Dion while he had a cowboy hat on. What would you say to that? If who? Say that again? I said you took all these private flights out there to be with DR while he had a cowboy hat on. So what would you say about that?
Starting point is 00:03:37 Coach Prime. He's from that culture. Coach Prime. He's from that culture. He's from that culture. He lived in Texas. I lived in Dallas for decades don't you don't? I live in Dallas for decades. What are you talking about, man?
Starting point is 00:03:49 You're from Harlem. And even if you want to go to Florida, that ain't really any number of racist cowboys out there. Come on, man. You would trigger that when you said that that stat just got triggered when you said that yeah man y'all be careful out there man they ain't gonna throw coach prime into this man i just spoke to coach prime the other day coach the coach problem coach prime my man we just spoke the other day man okay so let's have a discussion about this game. The Celtics beat the Mavs again, 105-98 in game two.
Starting point is 00:04:32 Just in general, what were you guys' thoughts on this game as a whole? I think you got to start with Cam on this, but I mean, because for me, I already told you my expert opinion. You know that, right? I told you that Jalen Brown was Batman, so I really don't have much to say. But let's see what Cam got to say, because I already
Starting point is 00:04:56 kind of said that. What's the definition of last night's Batman, if that's the case? Because if that's the case, Drew Holiday was Batman last night. I'm just trying to figure out what's the definition of last night's Batman, if that's the case? Because if that's the case, Drew Holiday was Batman last night. I'm just trying to figure out what's the definition of game-to-game Batman. Are you just saying that Jalen Brown is the best player? Because he wasn't necessarily the best player on the floor last night. He had a good game.
Starting point is 00:05:18 He didn't play better than Drew Holiday. So I'm just trying to figure out the definition of Batman. Yeah, go ahead, man. That's all I'm trying to figure out the definition of Batman. Hey, man. That's why I forgot. Cam, Jason Kidd said he's the best player on that team. What part of that, I mean, is not clicking, Paul? What I'm saying is I'm not disagreeing with that being the truth or not. Right now, actually, he is playing like the best player on
Starting point is 00:05:47 the team he just got the MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals I'm not disagreeing with that but last night if we're discussing last night's game stats that what do we think of last night's game and if we're going with who was the best player on the floor last night I believe it was Drew Holiday so that's why I was asking you you what was really your point about last night's game as opposed to him being the best player on the team. Because that said, let's talk about last night's game, not who's the best player on the team. If I'm not mistaken, I thought that was the question.
Starting point is 00:06:20 That was the question, Cam. The better game doesn't make you the best player on the floor. And I never said it was. Nobody was arguing with that. Nobody argued that. Then what's your point? The question was about, the point is, last night, who was Batman? Just because he's the best player on the team didn't mean he played the best game.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Cam, just because Superman shows up, it doesn't mean he's not Batman. It doesn't mean he's Batman. It's Superman showing up. Mace, last week when you did the Rick Martino thing and you spun yourself out of control, don't fall into that pit again. Just because it was bad last week
Starting point is 00:07:03 when you started just saying anything and people stopped me on the street over the weekend it was like he said he just spun himself yeah yeah you almost went batman and superman i don't really want you to go down that rabbit hole today. I'll just skip over it. Look, I think the Boston Celtics had a
Starting point is 00:07:34 tremendous game yesterday. Jalen Brown played outstanding, but to me, the two people that came through outside of Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum is Derek White and Drew Holiday. Drew Holiday had a terrific game all around, not just on offense, 26 points, but on defense. Kyrie is really struggling so far in this series.
Starting point is 00:08:00 I don't know if it's really a jinx in that Boston guard and on him or whatever, but he's officially 0 for 12 to stepping on the leprechaun. And not just that, it's looking like he's having all sorts of trouble getting the shots that he wants to get. Drew Holiday is playing an outstanding defense. They're switching. They're making it really, really hard for Kyrie to get his shit off. Luka did everything that Luka could do. At the end of the day, even after the game was over, Luka said,
Starting point is 00:08:27 I need to do more. Nah, Luka, you're doing all that you can do. You need some help. And not just Kyrie. It has to be somebody else that steps up as well. Because as good as Jalen Brown or Jason Tatum is, the key players each game are stepping up. Last game, it was Porzingis.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Porzingis had a decent game last night. What I will say, let's keep an eye on him. I was just joking with the niggas sin over the weekend. I said, Porzingis always hurt. Let's see if he can make it through the series. I didn't mean to jinx the nigga, but nigga came up heavily. So we're going to see what he looks like if he's going to be even able to play game three. But he had a decent game.
Starting point is 00:09:05 But it's really last night. The game ball goes to Drew Holiday. Derek White. Everybody else chipped it out. Hofford. The Boston Celtics just look like a more complete team. It doesn't look like Dallas is scared or anything like that. P.J. Washington. He played as good as he could
Starting point is 00:09:22 play against the way the Celtics were looking. Gafford played decent. Lively, he was okay. They're all playing decent but not good enough. And the way the Boston Celtics were looking, they just looked fresher. It looks like they wanted more 50-50 balls going to them because the stat sheets look the same. I'm talking about team stat sheets, not individual stat sheets. It wasn't a big disparity on anything really outside of 10 steals for Dallas.
Starting point is 00:09:53 They're picking these niggas' pockets. And that was the biggest disparity that I've seen as far as team stats are concerned, not individual stats. But Boston just looks like the fresher team. We see what happens when they get back to Dallas. You know, I was thinking about the Denver-Minnesota series, how Minnesota won them first two games. But we have to think about this.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Minnesota won them first two games. They was on the road. So it's kind of a reverse scenario right now. I don't want to really count Dallas out. But if this shit goes on, uh, we'll see what happens, but it doesn't look good right now at the moment. We'll see what happens when they get back to Dallas. Yeah, I was, I was watching one little tape before the, for the game where this little kid was asking, um, Luca for autograph and then he just began to troll Luca.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Luka for an autograph, and then he just began to troll Luka. And it let me know that this particular series is in trouble, for real. If they don't win the next game, I mean, it's completely over. When you look at Luka getting 32 points, 11 assists, and then 11 rebounds. Like you said, Killer, there's not much more that he can do, but this is a great sign of what happens when you're playing, when you're banking on regular players that do something against superstars and all-stars. It just don't pan out.
Starting point is 00:11:19 This is why people want to stack their team with stars because stars can get it done, pause, night after night. And sometimes when an average person is trying to play beyond their talent and, you know, emotionally, they're just not able to do it night after night, pause. And this is a great case of that. That's what we're looking at. So these guys will probably be good down the line, but they're not
Starting point is 00:11:45 the people that get it done in a championship. Well, be amazed. You said if they lose the next game, it's over. And you really have a grasp on the obvious because nobody ever came back from 3-0 in the NBA series ever. So you really killed them with that one.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Yeah, it is. Well, what are you saying by saying you'll see next game? I think it's over now, actually. I was just giving them a little bit of leeway. So you're basically, all right, so you're saying Dallas is out right now? The series is over? How many games? Five.
Starting point is 00:12:22 No more than five. Okay, you got it. I have to see next game i'm not gonna count them out just yet we'll see what happens when they get back at home one thing with that i will say in dallas's favor they cut the lead to five points um with about a little less than a minute about 57 58 seconds left and they got a fast break and if i I'm not mistaken, I believe it was P.J. Washington. He got pushed in his back by Jalen Brown, and the referees did not call that. That was a big, big missed call with momentum going Dallas' way
Starting point is 00:12:58 at the particular time. Like I said, they cut the five. That layup would have put them down three with about 55 seconds left. So I think that was a really, really big missed call on the referee's part. And not saying Dallas would have won the game because of that, but those are calls that you just can't miss. I'm just hoping this series gets a little bit more entertaining because Luka truly does need some help.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Like on the Celtics side, kind of like Cam said earlier, we are seeing different players of the game. series gets a little bit more entertaining because Luka truly does need some help like on the Celtics side kind of like Cam said earlier we are seeing different players of the game like okay at one point it's Jason Tatum or it's Jalen Brown or it's Porzingis or it's Drew Holiday somebody on that point Luka is constantly the best player of the game and until somebody steps it up we're going to see the same thing that we've seen you know happen thus far so it's like I need them to start changing some things up because I think everybody's at the point where it's like, you're already claiming you came with the Mavs hat,
Starting point is 00:13:50 and now you're like, yeah, I think the game's over. Like, that's not the mentality that we should be at at this point. But that's where we are, and that's sad to say. Yeah, this goes back to what I was talking about earlier in the season when we were talking about people understanding what it takes to win sometime you get in the 32 it's the reason why we're losing even though you look good you got to be smart enough to know i need to get make sure he gets 28 for us to win versus me constantly getting my 32. Does that make sense?
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yeah. And that's kind of what's happening in this series. Like, yeah, he's doing great, but if somebody else doesn't get any points, we don't win. Right. And also to that point, I think, I don't like to say this, but I feel like some of the players weren't ready for this big of a stage because, I mean, even Derek Lively, we gave him a lot of praise.
Starting point is 00:14:44 He hasn't been performing the best. Even Josh Green, he's been choking a little bit on the court. So it's like we need to see more from those other players as well. So to that point, yeah. Yeah, he only had two points. So coming down, and, I mean, you can't all the way blame Lukaku because a part of that triple-double is assist. But understanding, like, some players know some players know LeBron will come out
Starting point is 00:15:06 and it'll look like he's trying to get his team involved. He's trying to get them involved early because he knows, I can always pause, get mine, but I got to make sure they get theirs so when it comes fourth quarter, I can have people who can help me. That's just part of strategy in war. So this brings us to another part of the discussion. So a lot of people are questioning. Also real quick to piggyback off of what you guys are saying.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Jason Kidd said that. Jason Kidd said, we know Luka's going to do his thing. This is after game one. And Kyrie's going to do his thing. We need that third person to step up. But unfortunately, Kyrie's not even doing his thing yet. So let alone have a third player, we need a second player if you're Dallas to step up.
Starting point is 00:15:54 Very good point. Okay, so right now a lot of people are questioning Jason Tatum's contributions to the team. They're basically trying to figure out how much of an impact does he really have for the Celtics. So based off of what you've seen so far, and I'm not asking you who's the best player, but how do you guys feel about Jason Tatum's performance? I actually think he's implementing what I'm talking about. He understands for us to win, Jalen has to be out front and he's playing that role because not all superstars can do that. No matter what field of business you're in, most people cannot
Starting point is 00:16:35 do that. They don't understand that if I play this role, then we all get to where we need to go versus me just being dominant, this person, but we lose. It's like 30, 40 points on a losing team versus 20 points on a back-to-back championship team. And some people would just prefer the 40. Totally agree with Mason, to be honest with you. I totally agree with Mason, to be honest with you. Jason Tatum, whether realistic or not, has been the forefront for this franchise for the last three to four years minimum, and it's not getting the job done. To Mason's point, with Jalen Brown winning, it seems like they're not really even having that much of a competition.
Starting point is 00:17:26 They only lost two games, I believe, if I'm not mistaken, during the playoffs so far. Jalen Brown got the Eastern Conference MVP. And that's a great point. It was said with LeBron and D-Wade because of the magnitude of LeBron James and D-Wade's caliber at that particular time, when they got to Miami in that second season, you know, it was put out there that D-Wade was like,
Starting point is 00:17:59 look, I told LeBron, this is your team. I'm going to have to take a backseat to where this same thing may be going on without it having to be said. So especially with the pieces they have around them, I think that Mace is right on this particular situation. But they got such a good team that people need to stop being mad at Jason Tatum
Starting point is 00:18:21 because of so-called underperforming. Because let's think about this. You can have 50 every night and they lose. What does that mean? It doesn't mean anything. Right now, like I said, they lost two games. They're 2-0 in the championship. They're two games from having their championship since this collaboration
Starting point is 00:18:43 that Jalen Brown and Jason Tatum got together, this may be the formula. So please stop with the Jason Tatum is underperforming. I could see if they were losing, but they're winning. We talked about this last week, and I told people, Steph Curry didn't get a finals MVP to the last finals. They just won. So they won the finals three times before he got an MVP.
Starting point is 00:19:09 But everybody knows who Steph Curry is. Yeah. It's a good team. Yeah, them championships raise your profile tremendously. And then I know we put out a lot of different predictions, but I also need kind of like a concrete answer. Do you guys feel like there's a possibility the Mavs will get swept
Starting point is 00:19:27 at this point in time? Nah, I'm not going to swap. They got to at least get a game. Cam might think they can win four games. I'm not telling the Mavs off. I definitely don't think they're going to swap.
Starting point is 00:19:45 Okay. Would you be surprised think they're going to sweat. Okay. Would you be surprised if they lose 4-1? Not the way it's looking right now, but I don't think they're going to get swept. I'm not going to count them out either. Look, the one thing I've learned about doing this the last year and a half consistently. Is that things change?
Starting point is 00:20:08 I used to get mad at niggas and watch niggas be like, you ain't say that in October. Nah, look how niggas act, man. You know what the niggas send? Don't call and tell me, man. I hung up on them. I'm not even picking up for the niggas. Call me all night talking about
Starting point is 00:20:24 so the man don't miss Jalen Brunson now, nigga? Kyrie don't look like a dog. I said, really, bro? We still talking about Jalen Brunson? The Nick niggas won't let it go. They won't let it go. They won't let it go. You think Jalen Brunson will be doing this right now?
Starting point is 00:20:44 That's what he does. That's what I'm telling you. And I said, then I said, Kyrie ain't a dog. I said, bro, this prison of the moment shit is ridiculous, my nigga. I'm not even going to pick up on him disrespecting Kyrie like that because Kyrie playing bad. He say this man ain't a dog. This nigga hit the shots.
Starting point is 00:21:02 The main niggas win the chip, nigga. Clutch moments. He's off right now. He's not having a good game. But the Carl Kyrie, basically garbage citizen. That's disrespectful. And don't come around me and Kyle and all that when we together. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:21:18 You're not invited, bro. You're not invited. Now, I'm going to leave it there because it was too disrespectful. I'm going to start naming there because it was too disrespectful. I'm going to start naming all the basketball players you be disrespected. And then when I tell you I'm at the party, don't get mad. Keep it up. I'm going to start naming names.
Starting point is 00:21:39 I'm going to start today with Kyrie Irving. You're saying he ain't a dog and that they rather have Jalen Brunson. Yeah. Yeah. That's sham. Your man too. When he tried DM, you don't pick up for him.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Sham. Don't not pick up for sin. I'm telling you now. Not even that. Okay. So let's get into this best player discussion. So Mavs coach Jason Kidd says Jalen Brown is the best player on the Celtics. He said, well, Jalen's their best player. Just looking at what he does defensively, he picked up Luka full court,
Starting point is 00:22:14 got to the free throw line, he did everything. And when asked about the quote, Drew Holiday said, I don't think he's lying. So how do you feel about one Jason Kidd saying that about Jalen Brown and then his own teammate, Drew Holiday, agreeing with what he had to say? I mean, because I had the privilege of living in Atlanta and seeing Jalen Brown grow up, it's not shocking to me. Watching him play, even when we were entering this series, I was also able from that same vantage point to be able to say, well, I know Jalen Brown was watching.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Anthony Edwards was saying, that's my little nigga. You know what I'm saying? And he's going crazy. And I can only imagine what he was thinking. Growing up with people playing, you know, somebody playing younger than you, and you're like, you know what, if he was going crazy, I'm about to kill them.
Starting point is 00:23:12 So I think this has always been in his mindset, to come into this, and Jason Kidd said, it's really just a new reality for them. But the people, you know how they say, those who know, know? I'm one of those who know. Now everybody else know. And when it came to his teammates, it was simply just him, I mean,
Starting point is 00:23:33 a grasp on the obvious, like Killer just said. This is obvious. I mean, when you start watching people play, it's not how good they are against people that are not good at their position. That's what I look at. How good are you when you're going against somebody who's very good at your position? It's easy to be a dog when you're playing against a team that doesn't have a star at your position. So when we're watching this right here and you're watching Jalen Brown against Luka, Jalen Brown switch off on Kyrie,
Starting point is 00:24:06 this is where it counts at, you know? When you think about, let's say, if Tatum was guarding Tim Hardaway Jr. or he was guarding somebody else, it's not as much of a matchup as what it is that Jalen Brown is doing. So I think this has become a great showcase for him, and he's made the most of the showcase. As long as Jason Tatum's ego can handle it and he's cool with it, that's what really matters, to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Because if you've been thinking that you're the best nigga on the team this whole time and now niggas saying you ain't, a lot of niggas can't handle that. A lot of niggas can't handle that. It's a great 30 for 30 special on Penny and Shaq, really on Orlando Magic called This Magic Moment. Really good. Whoever shot that did a marvelous job.
Starting point is 00:24:58 And Shaq kept it real. He couldn't handle when Penny started getting all the light. And Shaq was out and Penny started getting as many commercials as he could shack i started getting as many commercials as i mean penny started getting as many commercials as shack and his celebrity was building then penny got the shit little penny that was more popular than him when chris brown was doing the voiceover um you know snap i don't know but little you know Penny Hardaway had this character for the night commercials that niggas loved.
Starting point is 00:25:29 And Shaq was with Reebok. And I don't know if you've ever seen this murder, but when Shaq did his new Reebok commercial, they had a little Penny doll in it and he smacked them off the couch. Oh, yeah. And they on the same team.
Starting point is 00:25:44 So now you got Reebok playing games with Nike causing controversy between them two. I know it's not that deep with Jalen Brown, Jason Tatum, but I'm just trying to give you some insight on the doc. That shit was really dope. And I'm like, look,
Starting point is 00:25:57 the sneaker companies got these niggas going against each other and they on the same team. So if you didn't check that out, check it out. But I think if Jason Tatum's ego is good with it, then whatever it takes to win, and if niggas calling it like they see it, they call it like they see it. Jason Kidd might have did that to throw a monkey wrench in they shit, and Drew Holiday was just saying how he really felt.
Starting point is 00:26:22 So right now it's looking fine to me. Everybody's playing fucking wonderful. I wouldn't let no comments bother me. If Jalen Brown needs to be that nigga on the team, and it seems like he is, then so be it. To me, even throughout him playing good through the playoffs, when he won the Eastern Conference Finals MVP, you know, he was shocked. He said, I don't want shit. I never want shit.
Starting point is 00:26:50 And the way he's playing now, he's headed for MVP of the finals if they win. So once you get a taste of winning and getting awards and getting individual accomplishments as well as the team accomplishments that you feel you haven't been getting, then you're going to go even crazier. And that's what it's looking like so far in the finals. Niggas like, oh, niggas finally recognize him. Because you got to think about this. Just a few weeks ago when the All-NBA
Starting point is 00:27:16 teams came out, he's not on the All-NBA team. And that's crazy. They put Kawhi Leonard on there before him. And Kawhi missed a few games, man. I don't think Kawhi should have been on there this list. Let They put Kawhi Leonard on there before him, and Kawhi missed a few games, man. I don't think Kawhi should have been on there this list. Let's say Kawhi ain't one of them niggas, but not this year. Yeah, and to your point, Killer,
Starting point is 00:27:33 when they asked Jalen Brown about it, he said, I don't have a comment. And that was the right thing to say. Yeah, he didn't say anything about it. He said everybody got their opinion. Okay, so right now it's a headline that LeBron James is no longer following Kendrick Perkins. He also unfollowed Ben Simmons and Blake Griffin. In response to hearing that, Kendrick Perkins responded saying,
Starting point is 00:28:03 Everybody didn't follow Jesus. I'll be okay. So what do you think of his response? Mace Burks. That was smooth, right? Everybody didn't follow Jesus. Yo, Kendrick Perkins. That was a good one right there.
Starting point is 00:28:24 I don't know. Is LeBron following you? No. He's not following you either. Also never met LeBron. I was just playing. But I think that's pretty cool. I like when LeBron do stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:28:43 Pause. When he unfollow niggas. Because then you get to see how niggas really feel. Because normally, as long as everybody's in harmony, people say what's politically correct. But when you start unfollowing niggas, niggas will tell you exactly how they feel about you. Oh, just a follow. Right. That's crazy. It is.
Starting point is 00:29:04 I think it's crazy, but I like it. Okay, you approve. I approve of it. Cam, what do you think? When you doing this shit, when you doing this shit, you're going to lose friends, nigga. That's the way it go. If you're telling the truth or telling your opinion, you're going to lose friends, nigga. That's the way it go.
Starting point is 00:29:25 If you're telling the truth or telling your opinion, you're going to lose friends. And if you care, it's going to show. And you got a job to do at this point. Like Kendrick Perkins and LeBron James is really in the same class. Like LeBron James came in 2003, so did Kendrick Perkins. They've been playing with each other since high school. So, of course, LeBron James' career basketball-wise is way better than Kendrick Perkins. And Kendrick Perkins realized he's not getting back in the NBA.
Starting point is 00:29:57 And people like him as an analyst. So his job is to keep his job right now. LeBron, you're still playing at a high level he's going to talk about you if you need to talk about you i remember when he first started and he said something about kevin durant kevin durant had said something to him and you could tell kd was a little um not kd kendrick perkins was a little uh disappointed but then it's time when knowing somebody must have told him you know if you care what niggas think then you you're not really doing your job and i think this is where his paycheck is at now he must have said some things about lebron that lebron ain't fucking with and and kendrick
Starting point is 00:30:37 perkins realized lebron isn't paying me espn is and then this isn't confirmed but people are speculating basically after kendrick Perkins made that comment that LeBron always has to make a situation about himself when, um, speaking highly of Kyrie. Um, so that's where people think it stemmed from, but just in general,
Starting point is 00:30:57 and it's a general question. Do you guys think that people take unfollowing somebody too personal? Cause I mean, athletes, entertainment all across the board, you know, people don't, some people too personal? Because I mean, athletes, entertainment, all across the board, you know, people don't, some people don't follow anybody and some people do. But like, do you think people take that too close to heart? Yeah, I think people take it way too serious. And that's one of the reasons why I don't like to follow people. Because if you ever, like, just don't want to see that today, then people feel like, oh, yo, what's going on?
Starting point is 00:31:25 It's like, bro, what do you mean what's going on? I didn't know people took it that serious until one time that happened. I see every time that somebody unfollows somebody, it makes the news. That's crazy. You could take any time when something is going on with a major celebrity, people will be like, oh, such and such is not following him anymore. And they make the news. It's crazy that people care that much.
Starting point is 00:31:53 So that's why you don't follow nobody. Yeah, because then you don't got to say you unfollowed anybody. They over here taking pictures. See, they care about the follow right there. They making stat follow them right now so now basically you're being peer pressured and they're not following nobody because you ain't about a nigga telling you something about them following them basically
Starting point is 00:32:15 you surprise me more and more every day i'm not calling you murder in a minute, man. I'm staying clear. I'm staying clear. I ain't put a pressure about nothing. Nigga says to me all the time, yo, Ken, why you unfollow me? Because you boring, nigga. Fucker.
Starting point is 00:32:39 Yo, I gave you a shot because you my man. So you can tell niggas I follow you. Your page is mad boring, my nigga. You crazy, nigga? I ain't sitting around for that depressing shit. Yo, I'm alone with it. Again with the kids. She went, oh, that shit, yo, my nigga.
Starting point is 00:32:53 I don't want to follow that. Fuck you, you talk about. I tell niggas murder. I ain't making no excuses. All right. I'm going to tell them, too, then. Listen. I ain't following you because I don't like you.
Starting point is 00:33:05 I don't like you. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's what't following you because I don't like you. I don't like you. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but yeah. I don't like you. I hate your pictures. It's a lesson. I don't follow you because there's no hate button. I want more dislike. I wish I could get the dislike button on you.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Yeah, yeah. I know I can back you going. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I know I'll get them back, y'all. Yeah. Yeah. Where's the dislike butt? That's what they need. They need a dislike butt. Dislike butt.
Starting point is 00:33:42 And I hate butt. I like button. I hate this picture. Steph, what you think about the improvements on IG? The hate button. The hate button is crazy. The hate button is crazy.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Positive, but if you don't like it, you don't like it. But you know what? The hate button is crazy. It's positive. You don't like it. You don't like it. It blocks off the back. But you know what? Nah, because you know I'm murdered. We might got to do that tomorrow because some people will love it. Niggas going to be like, look how many haters I got, nigga. Yeah. Look how many hates I got.
Starting point is 00:34:21 I got 4,000 dislikes. I got 4,000 dislikes. I got 4,000 haters. 4,000 niggas hated on this pic, nigga. Yeah, that saved the bad comments. They don't even got to write a bad comment no more. They could just put dislike. Yeah, this generation's skin is probably not as poor.
Starting point is 00:34:49 It's tough enough to get that dislike button. I feel like I'd rather a dislike button than a hate comment. People say some things with their chest. I'd rather just a button and you just keep pushing. Yeah, just thumbs down. Some people be saying too much. I don't need to hear. Okay, we're going to go to break. When we return, we will talk about Caitlin Clark I don't need to hear. Okay. We're going to go to break.
Starting point is 00:35:07 When we return, we will talk about Kaitlyn Clark not being on the Team USA women's basketball roster. Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back. I promise you it's a promise. Yes, it is. And look, I'm being modest. Yes, I am. I'm going to get mine regardless. I'm going to get mine regardless. I'm going to get mine regardless. Welcome back. Now let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day.
Starting point is 00:35:46 So Wednesday, game three, Mavs versus Celtics. I don't know why I wrote Dallas. Underdog fantasy has Luka at eight and a half first quarter points. Do you have him higher or lower, Mace? Higher. I'm going to go higher. Higher. Okay, Jason Tatum is at 9.5 rebounds.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Do you have him higher or lower, Cam? Lower. Lower. And Derek White is at 13.5 points. Do you have him higher or lower, Mace? Higher. Higher. Okay, download the Underdog Fantasy app,
Starting point is 00:36:21 and you can make your picks, too. So, Kaitlyn Clark isn't on the women's basketball roster for Team USA, which, of course, got a lot of people mad. Team USA veterans were also concerned about Clark's fans and their reaction if she was selected but received limited playing time. Do you guys think that Kaitlyn Clark should be on the roster? Mace first. Actually, when it comes to Kaitlyn Clark and Team USA,
Starting point is 00:36:54 I emphatically do not think she should be on that team. Even when you look back to the time where a college phenom made it, it was Christian Layton, and I think they won it all that year. Even when you look back to the time where a college phenom made it, it was Christian Layton, and I think they won it all that year. So she didn't actually get to win it all. And that's one of those issues you have to think about that somebody would not. I mean, someone would bring that kind of scrutiny to the team, bad publicity to the team if she's not getting the minutes that they wanted to have.
Starting point is 00:37:27 And when you think of the players on that team, I wouldn't play her before any of those guards. So I think that could only be a problem because if she's there, she's not going to want to just be on the bench. And I don't see who she could play before. Did you see anybody on that team she could have played before? She could, like, replace? That was playing guard.
Starting point is 00:37:52 No. Absolutely not, right? So this is to let people know we don't be biased up here. It is what it is for Kaylin Clark. We just call it straight. Kayla, what you thinking? Yeah, look, man, I think if she on that Olympic team, that they would start to lose players.
Starting point is 00:38:18 And when I say not lose them, I'm not saying they not fucking with the WNBA, but they like, yo, fuck all this. If we like, if this, if we got to get the Jets and the best hotels or whatever for this bullshit, then I got to get ready. I can't fuck with this because this all make-believe. And because she's not better than the 12 people in the room. Nah, dead ass. You know how they be like, nah, I get it. Yeah, yeah, nah, dead ass.
Starting point is 00:38:44 You know how they be like, nah, I'm good now. Niggas, you know, I thought they was just using that to promote us. Now they taking this shit too far. So, look, if you wanted to get more eyeballs on the TV. Yeah. And more people to come and talk about it now. Yeah, bring it. But you don't want to lose the best players in your league.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Mentally, I'm talking about. Like, yo, I can't take none of this seriously no more. This is on the Olympic team. No disrespect, I'm not Pat McAfee, that young lady. I'm making do with some more. I'm sorry. I'm saying sorry now. Now, you know what?
Starting point is 00:39:23 For that young lady. Yeah, that young lady yeah that young lady clean it up now you know for that young lady that young lady was invited to to the um practice a while ago but they were playing in the ncaa so she didn't show up and and some people think that that plays a role in it but i don't think so. She said if they ever need her, they can call her up. But they won't need her for at least another four years. In another four years, we'll see if she's ready to be on that team. But for right now, they don't need her on that team. Well, I did see a few blogs say, my homegirl Krista's Krista, her page is super-duper funny.
Starting point is 00:40:07 I'm going to tag her. I wish I knew the whole thing off the top of my head. She's hilarious, though. And she went through the list. I see her page actually on the way to work. And she's just like, okay, you can't replace this person. But we can get that bag and bones Diana Taurasi out of here. She said that, not me.
Starting point is 00:40:28 She said, if we're going to replace somebody, it should be Diana Taurasi. We can't just have it because it's nostalgia. That's what she said. And I'm like, not necessarily those words. But if you're looking for somebody to replace, a few people definitely said Diana Taurasi. You will put over Taurasi. Taurasi, that goes into a whole other conversation. Murder, I'm just telling you what a few blogs said.
Starting point is 00:40:53 I'm not agreeing with that. I thought it was a little funny because she's a funny person. I didn't say that. Taurasi is my favorite player. That's my favorite player in the WNBA of all time. She's still nice Yeah I mean
Starting point is 00:41:10 I was I only liked Taurasi and Sue Bird watching the WNBA Other than Swoops Those are the only people I used to watch How much She ever said Yeah she She the only only people I used to watch. How much she ever set? Yeah, she...
Starting point is 00:41:26 Hold up. She the only one that got 10,000 points in the WNBA. Yo, murder. Murder. So do Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. No, but I mean in the WNBA. She's the only one with those stats. But he's talking about like
Starting point is 00:41:41 current leads, which is a valid question. So she's averaging 16 points, four rebounds, one assist. Yeah, that's good money. She's 41 years old. They shouldn't be dissing Diane. That's good numbers right there, man. They're averaging the same amount. Her and Caitlyn is averaging the same amount.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Yeah, but we got to take the fact that she's 41 years old, man. Veteran, man. That's what I was just saying. They shouldn't be. Yeah, no, no, no. I got to do background checks with you because you be trying to finesse niggas. Everything's a background check
Starting point is 00:42:17 that I'm not sure about. I'm telling you that now. After the Rick Pitino shit, everything is a background check. Everything. Everything, my nigga. Those niggas hit me up like, yo, Mace, you was actually right about Rick Pitino. Why you hit me up about this?
Starting point is 00:42:32 He said, yo, Mace, I need to get him on the phone. I was talking to White. White was like, yo. He said, yo, Mace, I didn't even think about that. That was crazy that you brought up with Rick Pitino. White, where White live at? Was Allen there? I didn't even think about that. That was crazy that you brought up with Rick Patino. Wait, what? Where do you live at? Ward's Island now?
Starting point is 00:42:49 Live on Randall's Island? You must live over there now. You must live on Ward's or Randall's Island or something, man. I'm talking about when we praying for him, man. Killer said he praying for you Why he He praying for you bro Let's see right now Let's see right now
Starting point is 00:43:16 Yo it's good white Yo Killer said I was wrong About the Rick Pitino thing Yo Killer said I was wrong about the Rick Pitino thing What you want to say to Killer Because you on the air right now Well first I'd like to say You know Drinkin' my pink horsepower
Starting point is 00:43:37 But Yeah yeah We got I got it back for you He motivated He motivated these guys in the NBA. Like, he motivated the guys, he motivated the guys from Boston. He did the same thing where he was with the Knicks.
Starting point is 00:43:58 You know, he changed the culture. He brought a different toughness. You know, and just because he didn't win a trip doesn't mean he didn't help develop these guys. You know, clearly with Boston, he brought a bunch of those Kentucky guys there. He definitely helped develop them. And I feel the same way like Greg Popovich, you know, at the Spurs. You know, Cam loved the Spurs. I love the Spurs, but that's not my team.
Starting point is 00:44:23 The Spurs did not do well. You know, Cam loved the Spurs. I love the Spurs, but that's not my thing. The Spurs did not do well. However, Victor clearly developed under that coach, Popovich, even though the record wasn't good. So I say Rick Pitino, he definitely elevated Paul Pierce, Antoine Walker, Mercer.
Starting point is 00:44:42 He definitely elevated those guys. Even with Brad Stevens, Brad Stevens, you know, he was a pretty good coach. I think coming from college, he definitely helped develop these players also. But I cannot say that Rick Pitino did not develop these guys. Because he clearly did. He didn't come to the NBA and they were trash. Yo, white. Yo, white. Yo, white. That's white. You're white.
Starting point is 00:45:05 That's enough. Paul is white. Killer said he praying for you, yo. I'm definitely praying for white. You know, when I come there, all I be trying to say, you know, you better pray. But I love what you're doing. You know, everybody has an opinion. That's my opinion.
Starting point is 00:45:20 You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying for the picture. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Yeah. I'll call you later. I'll call you later. All right. Yeah. Niggas always try to do that. What did that do, though?
Starting point is 00:45:41 I don't understand what that just did. He said everything we said last week, and he said the same three players that I said, they got developed. All he just kept saying was develop, develop, develop, because that's what you spun off of afterwards. That's the key word that he stuck on, develop. What happened was Boston thought they was going to get Tim Duncan, and they didn't.
Starting point is 00:46:04 And that's when Popovich and David Robinson, the crew, took it immediately. Rick Pitino got caught up in some bullshit because they didn't make it happen for him to get Tim Duncan what they were supposed to get. I didn't even get into all that with you last week. It's a whole bigger story why Rick Pitino ain't really succeed. But I like White because White is smart. He stayed on develop. succeed but I like White because White is smart he stayed on develop we gonna go with that
Starting point is 00:46:27 you can go with that and I got some pink horse power for you too White I just wanted to add my two cents because like again people just think it's hating when you just disagree with something that Caitlin Clark does but like she definitely has to earn her spot.
Starting point is 00:46:46 Looking at the roster, like, all these people are seasoned players. Only people who haven't even been to the Olympics is Kalia Copper, which she already has a ring. Then there's Sabrina Ionesco. We already know she's a fire player for Liberty. Just did the three-point contest with Steph. Kelsey Plum, obviously back-to-back WNBA champs with the Aces. And then Alyssa Thomas. And the Connecticut Sun got the best record right now,
Starting point is 00:47:06 so it just doesn't make sense for Kaitlyn Clark to be part of that roster. But that doesn't mean that she doesn't have time to in the future. So people just need to calm down. Her fan base is really Taylor Swift-ish. She's like, just let her vibe. Just let her vibe. What do you mean by Taylor Swift? It's like just anything,
Starting point is 00:47:21 like anytime somebody disagrees with something Kaitlyn Clark does, it's very like, kind of with like Taylor Swift's fan base, a very strong fan base, which is fine. But like it's okay if things don't always work out in that person's way. In a Swifties way? Yeah, like I don't know what her fan base is called, Kaitlyn Clark's, but like that's the energy it gives. Same exact energy.
Starting point is 00:47:48 Okay, so moving along to boxing, yan garcia and devin haney both claim they have not received their earnings from their fight this is nearly two months after the fight what do you guys think is the hold up the situation makes. I truly believe if they have not gotten paid yet, that one of them are not getting paid. If they haven't gotten paid yet, you know. We've done enough with with promoters and things like that, if it takes that long to pay you to back in the back end, pause is probably not coming. And there's some more legalities that are that are going to surprise them um i think this is sad definitely for for devon when you um when you when you get beat that way and then find out you were cheated and you don't get your money that's that's kind of crazy i thought the money would make the situation feel a little bit better.
Starting point is 00:48:46 But if he hasn't gotten paid, there's a lot of red flags here. And it looks like a lot of probably two or three lawsuits are in the working against Ryan Garcia. So that means the money may be held up even a little bit more. Taylor, what you want to say? I got something else to say but that's what i'll say initially um i i've read a statement actually from the promoters of the fight one of all their representatives the lady represents them i don't have it in front of
Starting point is 00:49:21 me but basically she said yeah stat was going to get to it anyway she said basically uh in a nutshell that they got they paid their initial payment and pay-per-view money comes in over time he said if they don't know that they should read their contract better or they handle this to basically know that. And for me knowing, being friends with pay-per-view stars, that's correct. The money, you don't get all the pay-per-view money in one lump sum. It comes in month after month. It's almost like a royalty or publishing check. It comes in every few months. And maybe they're not used to fighting pay-per-view. And I don't know their contract. Maybe their contract is different. But to fighting pay-per-view, and I don't know their contract. Maybe their contract is different,
Starting point is 00:50:06 but from the pay-per-view people that I've known that fought over the years, that's how it works. And then in the statement issue, just the last sentence, obviously it's a small little paragraph, but the representative said, or perhaps Ryan and Devin should pay more attention to their contracts than their social media feeds. So I'm just curious, if you guys were Ryan and Devin should pay more attention to their contracts than their social media feeds. So I'm just curious if you guys were Ryan or Devin, how would you interpret what the
Starting point is 00:50:30 representative had to say? If what killer said, and I believe what he's saying is true, then that's 100 percent right. You got to know your business. So you're not out here talking stupid. Like to me, I didn't know so i have the right to say that but if my money was involved i would know i would know exactly when i'm getting paid i don't understand how you don't know that and then say his handlers like i hate that word handlers because that means you're trusting somebody else to take care of the business that belong to you. And it's okay for people to assist you,
Starting point is 00:51:07 but you got to be in the know of what's going on with your business at all times. I'm a firm believer of that. Yeah, well, maybe the lady felt them niggas be on social media too much. I don't fucking know. The lady felt them niggas be on social media too much. I don't fucking know.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Basically saying the only time I see y'all niggas, y'all playing games on social media, and then y'all wondering why the money ain't coming when we don't owe y'all niggas another check till August. Yeah. And you over here trolling and about to be sued for your back end, so ain't no back end coming, boss. Yeah, so, like I said, I don't know their contract, and every contract is different,
Starting point is 00:51:51 so I don't want to say who's right, who's wrong, but the way the lady put the statement just off that, to me, she sounds very believable. And then before we wrap... As opposed to, like, no, just real quick, as opposed to niggas be like, I write my contract, what the fuck is you talking about? That money's supposed to come in 15 days
Starting point is 00:52:11 because you know if you write, you're going to start popping shit if you write. Yeah, that was Bill who said, he said he'd rather work directly with the network. We want answers. Ryan and Devin has been asking, where's their pay per view money and they haven't shown us the 30 to
Starting point is 00:52:28 45 day report that's what he was saying but you're right maybe there's a timetable that they're not considering and that's what happens when you put all your business in somebody else's hand and you don't ask the right questions
Starting point is 00:52:43 ask the right questions. You gotta ask the right questions. And then before we wrap, and then just to continue on this topic a little bit. So Ryan Garcia was apparently arrested for suspicion of felony vandalism in LA. This was after officers received a call about an intoxicated person who was later identified as Garcia.
Starting point is 00:53:03 His reps say this was during an extraordinarily challenging time for Ryan. What do you guys make? What did he do? He was just drunk. They're saying that he like, I guess was like doing something in the hallway of the hotel, drunk,
Starting point is 00:53:17 like. He charges vandalism, whatever for whatever falls under vandalism. Whatever falls under vandalism. I thought vandalism was like graffiti and all that. It could be graffiti, destruction, like breaking something. I don't know the exact term. Breaking lights. Trash in a hotel.
Starting point is 00:53:44 What is Graffiti It used to be It is Because you're damaging other people's property Right? That's vandalism No I'm saying When we grew up that was like the only form
Starting point is 00:54:01 Of vandalism Graffiti on the wall I don't know anybody Who does that. Yeah. Your murder, remember Dobie? Yeah. Dobie had fame, B.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Yeah, he was up everywhere. Beef, poor as beef, too. Yeah, beef went crazy. And that's all we knew about was vandalism. So look at vandalism right now. Yeah, it's destruction. Destruction. They were saying that he had caused property damage in the hotel.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Yeah, but now vandalism means more shit, murder. Like you can knock over plants and you can be vandalizing shit. Or like break a bottle on the floor. You're messing up people property. Yeah. So he was drunk and he's messing up people property. I think, I think, um, see, this is the thing. Once you get that kind of reputation, anything you do, people believe you did it, you know,
Starting point is 00:55:02 and that's, that's where the trolling goes wrong. So for anybody watching this, this is the dark side pause of trolling. Once you get that name and then somebody say you vandalized their property, people are going to be likely to believe them. The jurors will be able to too. So they might be able to sue him, you know, get a few dollars out of his pocket. So wherever you are, Ryan, we're praying. Killer is praying for you.
Starting point is 00:55:32 Now I'm only praying for white. That's it. You ain't praying for Ryan? Right. That nigga. Yo, I heard white. White in a sunken place. How you do that to white?
Starting point is 00:55:43 Yo, that's fucked up. You did that to white Yo that's fucked up you did that to White Yo White Well I'm praying for Ryan If you ain't praying for Ryan White in the Sunk in place Yo suck
Starting point is 00:55:58 For White in the Sunk in place Yo why he just sunk in place. Yo, about this shit, listen, you ain't got to wonder if he did it. His manager, whoever, whatever rep he got talking for him basically said, we're sorry. This was going,
Starting point is 00:56:19 Ryan's going through a troubling time in his life. Basically admitting to the vandalism. So we ain't got to worry about if he did or not. Secondly, yo, listen, man. We can't keep talking about troubling times and niggas' lives. You just won. Like, listen, I know you're waiting on your money and everything else,
Starting point is 00:56:41 but it's people who got shit way worse than you, and we can't keep going with troubling times. Now, mental health's an issue? Cool. If drugs is an issue, that's another thing. That's what niggas need to find out. What if it's both? It's drugs and mental issues. You tell me, nigga.
Starting point is 00:57:00 You the counselor. If it's drugs and mental issues, that's really dangerous yeah and and um more than rehab is going to be necessary yeah um i'll just add not to be that person but like june is men's mental health awareness month so i just hope he's taking care of himself because he's been lashing out a lot and repeated behavior like that shows something is wrong he's never going to share it he's a boxer at the end of the day he's just going to have to perform and keep it pushing and make it seem as if everything is okay and sometimes everything is not okay so I just hope everybody's taking care of themselves treating themselves doing what they need to do to be all right what are you doing mental health month
Starting point is 00:57:44 mental health month I would say take i don't you know everybody handles it different but like cancer in cancer month everybody wear pink so what are we doing mental health men's mental health awareness month yeah i'm not sure exact tactics but i would just really take the time to just take care take care, self-care, choose you, take time off, do what you got to do to get in that mode, be that guy. That's my advice. That's all I got. I don't know no color you got to wear.
Starting point is 00:58:16 I just know take care of yourself. Take time off. Let me tell you something. Mental health is a real issue. It really is. Let me tell you something. Mental health is a real issue. It really is. And a lot of times, and I want to separate the two because mental health is, like I said, a real issue. But sometimes guys aren't mentally stable because they're not financially stable. their money ain't right they have an attitude because nothing's going right or nothing's going their way and it starts to get frustrating to where it leaks out to other people because i know a bunch of people that be frustrated and then when they get money they calm down
Starting point is 00:58:56 and i'm not comparing mental health to that at all but i'm just saying sometimes ladies or whoever you're dealing with or parents or whatever, if a nigga money ain't right, sometime and they acting crazy, not like mental health crazy, but attitude fucked up, don't want to be around nobody, they might be trying to figure it out. So give them a minute as well. That's called hating, killer. No, I'm just saying. I ain't called hating. listen, Murr, listen. If you ain't got no money, you mad. Imagine, listen.
Starting point is 00:59:31 You know, we was growing up, we was like, yo. See, Harlem's a little gentrified and all that now. And we love it. We represent it and all this and everything.
