Starting point is 00:01:57 hit me in the DM. I'm not doing nothing with less than 10 million followers. 28 million in the bank. I'm not settling. I'm not settling. I just get a bunch of fat asses and big eyelashes. So,
Starting point is 00:02:11 that's my DMs. Sick of it. Sick of it. I don't want it no more. I don't want it. You feel me, Chi? We got to get one of these drinks, you know what I'm saying, bro? I'm sick of it, bro. These bitches, I really want it no more. I don't want no, you feel me, Chi? We got to get one of these joints, you know what I'm saying, bro?
Starting point is 00:02:26 I'm sick of it, bro. These bitches, I really want to say names. I really want to say. You say you want it is what it is. Yeah, yeah. I as well. Yeah, you know.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Next re-up. Next re-up. I'll next re-up. I'm going to start naming everybody. When the next re-up come, I'm saying, niggas, I'm sick of it. 10 million followers, 32 million. Holler at me. Big eyelashes, fat asses, thank you.
Starting point is 00:02:53 You was appreciated for years. I have to move on. It's what's best for business. It's what's best for business. It's what's best for business, man. I got to get it out there. It's what's best for business. You got to do what's best for business at this point, man. You got to think about it, Murdoch.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I'm not even talking about... Look, look. Bro. Just get a little attitude. Like, look. I have cribs in different states. You too, too. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:03:26 I'm going to use this. I got a main bitch. Say you got a main bitch in New York, whatever. Cool. What's going on in Vegas? None of your business. It ain't, you are in New York. You're not going to control state to state to state what's going on and everything.
Starting point is 00:03:39 You got to make New York hot. Yeah, yeah, make New York. I'm just saying in general, like, you know, never invited me to Vegas. Yo, no. Get on a flight to Vegas. What did he bring to the table? Listen, listen. I could go to the Chinese joint and get a hand job,
Starting point is 00:03:55 and I'd be good. I don't need you. You know what I'm saying? I'm at that age. You got to think about it, bro. You feel me, G? Like, listen. How long you got to think?
Starting point is 00:04:06 Yeah, you know the little... See, you know you go to the massage sits if the window pitch black. You go by the prices and say $40 per hour. That's when you in the handjob joint. If you go to the joint, it's all like 110.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Don't expect nothing from that joint. That's a real, real... That's a real... That nothing from that. That's a real, real. That's a real, that's a real, that's a real spot. You got to look at the prices to know where you at. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:04:35 But listen, you got to think about it. I literally, no exaggeration, I'm trying to think. I've been burning for 34 years, man. All this, every... I just want to get mine sometime now if I like you.
Starting point is 00:04:52 I start doing tricks, you know what I'm saying? A lot of people don't know. I was getting my physicals and all that shit done the last few weeks, so that's why you ain't seen me. I'm looking a little slimmer. I got my diet right, a little everything. I had to go check on myself. Doctor said, what's going on? I said, I've been lying. He said, you can't be Superman and all that. I said, what do you be doing? I
Starting point is 00:05:12 said, I be lifting bitches up. I'm WWE in the bedroom sometimes. I jump off the dresser. I do all types of shit. I'm wild in there. He said, you got to calm down. You been boning 30 something years. I was like, this is true, man. Sometimes I'm just going to get mine and get out of here. But I'm on a different search. It wasn't about that. I didn't mean to start the show
Starting point is 00:05:30 with this, but after I seen the awards come out, I said, this is what's happening. That I'm going to bring somebody on our team that can help us get the votes. That's crazy. The Swifties.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Yeah, man. And I felt like what was going on hey well it's a new era in many different ways so the Timberwolves beat the Suns again
Starting point is 00:05:54 105-293 have you guys lost confidence in the Suns at this point oh man this is gonna be very interesting. Thank you, Suns, for coming out.
Starting point is 00:06:09 But it's time to go home. Like, it's really that time. I'm not even jumping the gun. As I'm looking at this team, they don't look cohesive at all. And I'm really, what I'm most surprised about in this team is Bradley Bill.
Starting point is 00:06:24 I thought Bradley Bill came on that team to make them a championship team. And it just don't give me championship vibes. And not that they can't turn around and win four games straight or whatever you want to say. But this is not the time to not be jealous. And Book had a points fouled out. And Ant-Man, he didn't have the crazy numbers, but he definitely looked like he's still trying to win it all. And that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Yeah, it don't look good. It looked like they mentally tapped out. When I'm looking at the game, Ant-Man had a terrible game. He shot three for 12, 15 points, and they still won by a double-digit lead. Bradley Beal didn't play a lot this year because he's been hurt. And to be honest with you, probably the last two, three weeks is the best we've seen Bradley Beal play all season due to injury. But it's not gelling. You can have the best steak. Team on paper.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Yeah, I mean, you can have the best steak in the world. You can have the best motherfucking cereal in the world. You can have the best shoes in the world. You can't throw it all in the pot. Like, you got three good players, and sometimes it doesn't gel. You know what I'm saying? And to me, this doesn't look like it's gelling at all. Even the body language, you know, we always talk about the eye test and not
Starting point is 00:07:48 necessarily going to analytics. The eye test says they mentally tapped out. We'll see when they go home. But I have to agree with Mase. It does not look good at all. And it looks like, it looks, yeah. And it looks like, and it looks like Minnesota wants it more. Ant-Man looks... One thing I always argue about, things begin, they check, and then checking out. Ant-Man got 235, and he looks like he wants more money. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:15 And this is really good that we finally seeing, and I would say probably, because I'm not going to say Zion, because he's not always available, but probably in the last, and I'm just thinking going off the top of my head, maybe the last seven, eight years, that a number one pick is playing like a number
Starting point is 00:08:36 one pick. You know what I'm saying? Zion plays good when he's available. And he's not always available. He's not even available for the playoffs yet this year. So Anthony Edwards, even when Kevin Durant is on him, he's attacking every time Kevin Durant gets on him and laughing if he makes a shot. I don't like it.
Starting point is 00:08:54 I think it's over for the Phoenix Suns. They look mentally checked out. The sad part about it is, for me, is that Bradley Beal is just coming into his own in April because of injuries. But I don't think that they're going to beat Minnesota after looking at these first two games. Yeah, and it seemed like Kevin Durant and Ant-Man
Starting point is 00:09:19 are talking back and forth, and Ant-Man is really starting to talk crazy to KD. So I think that should be some motivation to get it done, especially he can't have his young boy coming in here, like having his way, but this might be the changing of the guards. Like we talked about earlier in this season when we, or last season when we were recording, we said that this, this is the way it should be, that the Suns should be against Minnesota. We only wanted to see Denver versus one of the newer teams so everybody could prove, is it a change in other guards or do it?
Starting point is 00:09:56 We're going to just keep the show rocking as is. And it seemed like Ant-Man has a lot to say about that, and he's speaking with his game. Yeah, I'm not even going to front. Before the season started, I said it was going to be Phoenix and Denver, and it just doesn't look that way. That's what I said before the season started, because when you look at this team on paper,
Starting point is 00:10:16 after seeing what they did last year, you know, it isn't like they just lost. They lost to the people who took the championship. So I was like, yeah, this might be a great addition. You know, they got Grayson Allen, new system, but it doesn't look like any of it's working. Bradley Beal, the coach, nothing is gelling. They even went and get Eric Gordon. That's a fuck, Eric Gordon, you know how great of a pickup that is off the bench?
Starting point is 00:10:37 Eric Gordon. And he shows up to work. He doesn't talk a lot. He played well. Yeah, he did. He played really well. But I'm just saying, when you look at this team on paper, it's not giving what we thought it would give in the beginning of the season.
Starting point is 00:10:55 So the Suns' big three combined for a total of 52 points. So even just looking ahead, do you guys feel like… No, that's horrible. Yeah. That's horrible. Do you feel like their big three is legit? One of them could have got 40. So if you got three of them getting 52, that's just not good.
Starting point is 00:11:07 This is a team that Book and Katie alone could combine for 60. 70. So why would I
Starting point is 00:11:20 settle for getting 52 from all three of them? Pause. That's crazy. What's the question? Basically, since they combined for 52 points just with the three of them, do you feel like their big three is legit? No.
Starting point is 00:11:36 I don't think they, you know, I should have checked on that. I don't really think they actually played a lot. I think they played like 15 games, 14 games, with all three of them on the court. So the answer, what Mace is saying is no, but it's not because no, because they're not good. They have in jail. You know, a lot of people sit there and say,
Starting point is 00:11:57 chemistry is very important this time of the year. A lot of New York Knicks fans are like, man, so-and-so is hurt. Julius Randle is hurt. This person's hurt. Y'all might should be happy that them niggas is hurt because what happens is right now y'all have great chemistry. And chemistry matters.
Starting point is 00:12:15 If Julius Randle was in the lineup, I'm not saying that he— They would be losing right now. I don't know. I'm not going to say that. Mace may know better. But what I'm saying is you had Julius Randle last year, and he didn't come in second place. You have great chemistry and great coaching
Starting point is 00:12:30 to where you're getting the right players on the floor at the right time. You're getting the heart, the hustle, the points where it's needed from different players on the court. The first two games, and I know we're not talking about that. I'm just jumping to it. Jalen Brunson had two bad games. Tyrese Maxey played them two bad games, and they still won because of other players and
Starting point is 00:12:52 the chemistry. So to me, this time of year, chemistry matters, and it just doesn't seem like the Suns have that chemistry. Yeah, the Suns need to probably, I don't know, go out more together, do something, go on a trip together, do something. They got plenty of time. Some shit about to be
Starting point is 00:13:12 over in a minute. They go a lot of places. Yeah, they can get a boat, go to Cancun, Tulum, anywhere, Brazil. But they got to spend some time together. You could tell they don't
Starting point is 00:13:23 hang out. Okay, the Pacers beat the Bucks 125 to 108. but they got to spend some time together. You could tell they don't hang out. Okay. The Pacers beat the Bucs 125 to 108. If Giannis doesn't near a return soon, should they be worried? Should the Bucs be worried? Who should be worried? The Bucs.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Oh, I was about to say Giannis is not worried. The family is not worried. The family is not worried. The brother is not worried. We'll get to that later. But should they be worried? They definitely should because I don't see them coming out, even getting to the next round without Giannis. Like, it's starting to look scary already.
Starting point is 00:14:03 Whenever you let them young boys come in and get a game on the road, that's what series is all about. If you get a win on the road, you could win the series. All you need is one. One shifts it back to you having home court advantage. So let's say if you have four games at your home and then we get the win, now we have home court advantage. So it's going to be interesting to see how they respond. I like the fact that Damon Lillard
Starting point is 00:14:34 is now taking a charge over Halliburton, but Halliburton is still getting his. So we got to see where that goes, Paul. They should absolutely be worried without having Giannis. Look, they should have been worried when Giannis was playing. They beat them three out of four times this season with Giannis. The one win that they did have, Giannis had 64 points in the win.
Starting point is 00:14:59 So, yes, absolutely they should be worried. And this is the only in the, well, outside of, I guess we're going to get to Dallas in a minute, but Dallas played a little later in the night last night. But Pacers are the first team in the playoffs so far that's won an away game. Yeah. And that counts.
Starting point is 00:15:19 And the Pacers seem to have Milwaukee's number all season with Giannis included. So absolutely they should be worried. Damian Lillard had another outstanding game, but Damian Lillard didn't come there to beat Portland Dame, Portland Trailblazers Dame. He came there to try and win a championship because he's been in Portland all these years
Starting point is 00:15:38 and haven't won a championship. He made a shitload of money, but doesn't have a championship. And I don't think that he came to Milwaukee to leave in the first round. So he had better made the past first round several times in Portland. This would be travesty for Damian Lillard to exit in the first round. It would be. He said, I could have done that in Portland.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Exactly. You could have did that in Portland exactly you could have did that in Portland so we'll see what happens but I think Giannis coming back the sooner the better but
Starting point is 00:16:11 what I will say is I agree with Mace when it comes to Giannis reserving him if he's really injured like with Joel Embiid like I said
Starting point is 00:16:21 he need to get out there because he's been hurt forever Giannis if he's been hurt forever. Giannis, if he's really hurt, sit down because you have plenty more years with him, and he doesn't have the history of getting hurt like Joel Embiid did. So if it's a real situation like something close to Achilles, I would sit Giannis out. If he's available, of course play him, but I wouldn't risk it moving forward.
Starting point is 00:16:45 What does this say about Doc Rivers, though? As far as what? As the coach. If they lose this series, do you think this goes against Doc or he didn't have Giannis? I don't fuck with Doc like that as a coach anyway. He won one championship. Like I said before,
Starting point is 00:17:01 I never see a coach get traded. Nigga traded the coach. Danny Ains traded that nigga to the Clippers. Niggas be forgetting. I know we talked about said before, I never see a coach get traded. Nigga traded the coach. Danny Ains traded that nigga to the Clippers. Niggas be forgetting. I know we talked about it before, but nigga traded a player. Like, yo, you want the coach too? Where? We could get the coach.
Starting point is 00:17:13 That's part of the trade. The nigga got traded as a coach. You lose the Golden State year after year after year. You get a Philly. You got the league MVP. You got the assist leader with James Harden. When I say the league MVP, that was Joel Embiid. James Harden got the assist title last
Starting point is 00:17:28 year, and you can't get it done. I think Doc is a great person. I'm not disrespecting him as a person, but we have to stop putting Doc on this coach pedestal. He's right all back and all. And then when
Starting point is 00:17:44 we look at this title that he won, you have to realize you got a primetime Paul Pierce. You got a primetime Ray Allen. You got a primetime Kevin Garnett. You got the young gun Rondo Pauls who just came in the league. And you got a pretty decent bench. So it ain't like. Kendrick Perkins.
Starting point is 00:18:02 Yeah, exactly. So you're not going to sit there and act like he took shit and turned it into gold. He did what you were supposed to do. Yeah. And then you lost
Starting point is 00:18:12 the rest of the team. You lost to Kobe in another championship. I forget who else they lost to. Yo, that nigga got one chip, great players, and don't get it done. I don't be jacking Doc as a coach. That's it done. I don't be jacking Doc as a coach.
Starting point is 00:18:25 That's just me. I don't really fuck with him as a coach. He had a lot of MVPs that not win. So this would just be another MVP that he had that he didn't win with. Listen, I don't jack that nigga as a coach. I don't. Look, man, Giannis, it had to be something going on with Giannis to where that last coach
Starting point is 00:18:48 got fired because he had a winning record. They didn't fire him because he was losing. He had a great record. It was a decent record. I believe there's number two in the East
Starting point is 00:18:58 when he got fired. Yeah, I think there was like 33 and 13 or something like that. Yeah, something like that. So for him to even get fired, it had something to do with, it was personal.
Starting point is 00:19:07 It was not because of whatever the record is. Doc come in. Doc fucking coached the all-star game. Talking about, nah, I'm on. He going to give him the money. Give him the check. Remember that? Yeah, that's all I'm just about to say.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Listen, man. Let me give you the money, nigga. Let me get the job. 40 million? How much he signed for? 40 million? Something wild? Yeah. Some wild shit, man. Let me give you the money, nigga. Let me get the job. And what'd you sign for? $40 million? How much you sign for? $40 million? Something wild? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Some wild shit, man. I don't like it. And don't make it out the first round. It'll be crazy. I don't like it. I'm being honest. I don't like it. I don't support it.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Never light-skinned nigga getting away with murder. I don't fuck with him at all. No disrespect, bro. He's my nigga right there. Kill him. Kill him. Kill him. Kill him. Yeah. no disrespect bro killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:48 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:48 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:49 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:49 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:49 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:49 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:50 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:50 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:19:57 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer
Starting point is 00:20:01 killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer killer to 93 and this was with Kawhi's return. The series is now 1-1. So one, what did you guys think about the game and then who do you guys predict will win the next one? Oh man,
Starting point is 00:20:12 this is a good series. This is a series I think we should go and catch a game. This is a good series. I knew it was going to play out like this. Now, if the Clippers does not win this series, I want y'all to save the clip, Nick, that I told you about
Starting point is 00:20:32 where Russell Westbrook is going to regret making this decision. What decision are you talking about? When he decided to come off the bench. And he was like, oh. He was praising him he decided to come off the bench. He was praising him for doing it earlier in the season. Now you, now you, what are you talking about? You was praising him. I want to give Russell Westbrook mad credit.
Starting point is 00:20:54 I only said that because y'all was giving the credit to Todd Wolf. That's wild, man. That's wild. I'm an all-in nigga. You know I got the right to change my view. Now you talking about save the clip. Nick, yeah, save the clip of this nigga. I got the right to change my view. Now you talking about save the clip? Yeah, save the clip of this nigga. I got the right to change my view.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Giving this nigga mad. Yeah, you do. But I'm saying, you talking about save the clip. Let's save all the clips where he's like, you said at least three shows, this is all because of Russell Westbrook. No, that's because y'all was giving the credit to Ty Lue. And I wanted to say, if we giving credit.
Starting point is 00:21:21 That's not a fact. Come on, bro. If we giving credit, the credit go to Ty Lue. I did not say that. I gave the credit to Russell Westbrook just like you. I don't even know if it's a clip or you said it. What was you about to say? I want to know what clip you think this is talking about.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Yeah, he wouldn't let me land. I'd love that. Lay in the plane. He wouldn't let me land, you know. Yeah. You know, I forgot where I was, man. You was finessing. You was already fin, man. You was finessing. You was already finessing.
Starting point is 00:21:47 You was finessing. Instead of here. I was finessing. Instead, was I finessing? A little poquito. I want you to finish the statement. You was finessing. You spun yourself.
Starting point is 00:22:03 You dizzy. This nigga's dizzy right now. He's spinning himself. You finished the statement. You spun yourself. You dizzy. This nigga's dizzy right now. He's spinning himself. You was talking about we should catch a game. You wanted to get rid of us. I was saying we're going to catch a game. I said, and if they don't win this, we might have to come back to one of the clips
Starting point is 00:22:20 where I said that he might come back to regret this. You know, that this could possibly be something that shortened his career because he took the backseat to a team and that team don't get it done. And I also said that your boy James Harden, he has a history, though he's a great phenomenal player, of fading in the playoffs. This is just something we know. This is the reason why I don't wear my James Hardens no more, you know? I don't like niggas who disappear when they get turbulent pause. You know what I'm saying? I don't like niggas like that.
Starting point is 00:22:54 You know, niggas be loud when they winning and then they vanish. And a few names come to mind. I don't want to say their name right now, but I don't like when niggas talk crazy and then they lose and then you don't see niggas. I don't do that. I'm like Muhammad Ali, even when I lose, I win. Who does that, Mase? Yeah. Which means they lose and then you don't see them?
Starting point is 00:23:22 Yeah, not just yet. This is probably my favorite series of the first round. I know it'll be an interesting series. I was really, really shocked about how dominant the Clippers were in the first game. This speaks more to how this series should really go to 96-93 win for Dallas. But I really believe that this is the best series in the first round to me. For me, it's the most entertaining series. And it goes back to what I said last segment.
Starting point is 00:23:56 Chemistry. Kawhi Leonard been missing two, three weeks. You throw him back in the starting lineup and the chemistry is off. And I said he wasn't playing with them before that, but you're leading into the playoffs. He hasn't been playing. He ends up only with 13 points,
Starting point is 00:24:11 and now you're trying to figure it out with Kawhi. You just had to, I believe, if I'm not mistaken, a double-digit lead first game without Kawhi. Kawhi's back, and you lose by three. The chemistry has to get right. If anybody can figure it out, though, I believe Ty Lue can figure it out. But it's probably my favorite
Starting point is 00:24:29 series. And I know we got family down there in Dallas, man. We do. Harlem nigga down there, Coach Nunez. I think big shout out to the Dallas Mavericks organization. I'm going down there soon to check on the family and everything. They offered us some tickets to murder.
Starting point is 00:24:51 I didn't know if our feet was on the wood, pause, but I don't play that. I don't do second, third row. No disrespect. I do the skybox and I do the wood, pause. That's all I can do. So I'll find out. But what I will say is this, and I'm not going to sit here and act like
Starting point is 00:25:10 that Dallas doesn't have a good team, especially, look, you got another superstar on the team outside of Luka with Kyrie Irving. But you have, what, four all-stars, one coming off the bench. This is like Caitlin Clark. If y'all let that white boy beat y'all, that's on y'all.
Starting point is 00:25:29 That's on y'all. And all y'all from LA, we was just talking about if y'all niggas win everything, the best basketball players are from Southern California, everything. Let the white boy from overseas beat y'all.
Starting point is 00:25:39 I don't want it from none of y'all. None of y'all. It's three people on that team from Southern Cal. Four. Four. Four of them. All four of them.
Starting point is 00:25:45 Oh, my goodness. James Harden, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook. Yeah, let the white boy beat y'all. Yeah. Caitlyn Clark, male version. I'm telling you, I don't like it. And I'm a Luke out fan, but he's going to sit here and just beat up on black people like this in basketball. I got a problem with that.
Starting point is 00:26:03 Call him the Disney assassin. He killed niggas while playing. Straight up now tell me, do you really want to? Whatever going to work, B. But I'm telling you, this nigga, you got to think about this. And I'm sitting here looking at it. The finalists for MVP, we was talking about earlier. None of them are from America.
Starting point is 00:26:23 No finalist for MVP is from America. I don't know if y'all niggas be watching them clips on YouTube and Instagram and everything. They training over there at three, four years old. Four or five basketballs at a time. What our kids over there doing? Dumbass challenges. Spinning around, all type of crazy playing in dirt.
Starting point is 00:26:43 20 years, we are going to be losing. Bad. I'm telling you right now. I'm telling you. I'm watching with China, Korea, Japan, Europe.
Starting point is 00:26:53 We are losing. And not now. 20 years, the young nigga, the three, four-year-old today is not going to be able to keep up with the three,
Starting point is 00:27:03 four-year-old. Yeah, he going to want his phone while he's playing ball. He wants his phone in his socks. I seen a clip the other day that's worth everything I love, an AAU game. The ref is running up and down with the phone. Woo!
Starting point is 00:27:14 Foul. The nigga got a phone. The nigga's just like, yo, what are you doing? Nigga's talking about the hang-up. I'm like, yo, this is dead ass. I think I sent it to Bob to put it on the page. The nigga was making on the phone, running up and down the court. This is what we're dealing with.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Yeah, that's how niggas be, on the layup line. Like, yo, yo, take a picture of me right quick. It's like, yo, you're on the layup line. Yeah, exactly. Nah, just a quick pic, then we going back. Yep. But as far as the series is concerned, it's a great series. I'm not sure who's going to win this series.
Starting point is 00:27:44 What series? Mase, we talking about Dallas and the Tiffers. You're not sure who's going to win this series. What series? We're talking about Dallas. You're not sure who's going to win it? I'm not. Who are you going to win? Dallas is going to win this series. I'm not mad if Dallas does win, but I'm just saying for me, I don't know because it's the chemistry.
Starting point is 00:28:00 It's the chemistry. And then another thing, we just don't know what Kawhi Leonard's going to do game to game. Available tonight. Missing two games. Game off. just don't know what Kawhi Leonard's going to do game to game. Available tonight. Missing two games. Game off. Like, I don't know. I'm rooting for Dallas because we his home team, but I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:28:14 We'll see what happens next game. Yeah, if there was ever a time for them to win, it would be now. You got, like you said, all four people that grew up in this city or grew up somewhere close in the proximity, they should be trying to win at all costs. You're there with your whole family. Your high school coach is probably there. The college coach is probably there. You don't want to lose in front of family like that, especially when we all got our family there. So I know you brought up Kawhi, but is there any player that you guys specifically think that it's dependent on
Starting point is 00:28:46 or do you think it's just them as a whole Prince Nassim is outside Nick get Prince Nassim I think it blew you a kiss yeah he blew you a kiss Prince Nassim blew you a kiss. Yeah. It blew you a kiss. Prince Nassim blew you a kiss.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Back to the question. Is there any specific player that you guys think it's dependent on or do you guys just think it's going to come down to the group as a whole? It depends on James Harden because as you can see, Paul George even to the end of the game was still getting bucket. The GOAT is doing his part. It's boiling down to if Kawhi is going to be available every game because that matters. I don't know why they keep saving niggas like he's going to come in and do something that he hasn't done in the last four years.
Starting point is 00:29:41 And I just like telling the truth. We've been waiting on this Kawhi of Toronto for too long. I'm not sure if it still exists. He got to prove me right. He got to prove me wrong. At the end of the day, James Harden had the same amount of points as Paul George.
Starting point is 00:29:58 They both had 22 points. Kawhi was the weakest link today. Russ Burke only has seven points coming off the bench. Not going to get it done against Dallas. Yeah. Look, it's a team game. Nobody wins by themselves.
Starting point is 00:30:12 It hasn't been done. Not since I've been alive. I've been watching basketball. I have not yet to see one person take it to the championship, to the top of the mountain. Not seeing it come close. Pause. Let's see Allen Iverson get this team to the championship to the top of the mountain now I see they come close pause I see Allen Iverson
Starting point is 00:30:26 get this team to the championship basically by himself and I see LeBron get this team to the championship basically by himself did they win? no but it was a damn good
Starting point is 00:30:34 performance and when I say by they self I do mean to be disrespectful Eric Snow and and Rat Clarity or Ratliff and all them other niggas.
Starting point is 00:30:46 And McKee. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Y'all, y'all niggas. You didn't like that team? No, no. I didn't like none of them niggas. I don't care. I don't even remember.
Starting point is 00:30:54 What's the nigga? Boobie Johnson on Cleveland or whatever the fuck them niggas name is. Yeah, they was by they self, my nigga. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. So, you know how niggas be like, no disrespect. Respectfully, I'm being disrespectful. Niggas don't know where y'all at. Nobody even check it for y'all.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Y'all lucky I remember y'all. Y'all won't get a shout out again. This is what it is. This is just for y'all to get a shout out. You dissing Eric Snow? You thinking, when the last time you heard Eric Snow? He was guarding all the hard players. Wow.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Wow. Wow. You heard that, Chief? I mean, all the players with great offense, he had to guard,
Starting point is 00:31:30 you know? It's early in the morning, man. Yo. All right, man. I'm glad it's up in Harlem, niggas here to verify,
Starting point is 00:31:44 man. But, yeah, listen, Murda. Look, what does the nigga say, Eric? What last time you heard Theo Ratliff? What last time a nigga bought that nigga? Nigga forgot about the little nigga who was fucking with Keisha Cole. Was it Boobie? Yeah, Boobie.
Starting point is 00:31:58 Nigga don't even know his last name no more. That nigga's just... Was it Boobie Watson or something? Yeah, Boobie Jenkins. Boobie Smith. Yo, Boobie Jenkins and Boobie Smith niggas all the time yo Killer you gotta chill you might run into Boobie
Starting point is 00:32:10 well we might we good let's he ain't one of those 6'10 niggas we can get him he ain't one of those 6'10 niggas man
Starting point is 00:32:17 so at the end of the day no disrespect at least I remember him gotta think about there's 11 other niggas over there I don't remember
Starting point is 00:32:25 they name so yeah nobody could do about themselves not even Michael Jordan couldn't do about themselves so
Starting point is 00:32:31 Mike A went no ring until Scottie got there and Horace Grant was there for three Dennis Rodman was there for the other three and Phil Jackson
Starting point is 00:32:38 was there for all six along with Scottie nobody does it by themselves I ain't buried I can't kill Robert Parrish Magic Johnson had Kareem Abdul-Jabbar look man nobody does it dolo. I ain't burned out Kevin McHale, Robert Parrish, Magic Johnson,
Starting point is 00:32:45 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Look, man, nobody does it dolo, so it won't happen. Two niggas I'd seen in my lifetime do it. Come close. They won the Eastern Conference, but couldn't get the job done as far as winning a championship.
Starting point is 00:32:59 Okay. The NBA is investigating Jokic's brother for allegedly punching a fan after the Nuggets game to win over the Lakers. Lakers fans are jokingly saying, even though it's not really a joke, saying that Jokic should be suspended a game for his brother's actions. But what do you guys think of the situation and what do you guys have to say to Lakers fans? He punched a Laker fan? Yeah, he punched a fan in the stands. Wow.
Starting point is 00:33:28 I don't even know what to say to that because if this happens in Denver, he's going to get away with it. It's good it happened in Denver because if it happened in LA, it would have probably been a brawl. And what can come out of this? It's not like it's Joker.
Starting point is 00:33:48 It's not like you could sue him and make him a bunch of money. That's the worst feeling in the world. You got knocked out by somebody you can't even sue. I ain't knock him out. I seen the video. Oh.
Starting point is 00:33:57 Little chin check. Chill out. Well, see, niggas coming over here from overseas getting wild disrespectful. That adds to your point. Yeah. He's a 7'1", too. He's the same size as the Joker. It's two
Starting point is 00:34:13 of them niggas. Oh. It's two brothers. Yeah, somebody punch you in your face 7'1", I mean, what you gonna do? I'm talking about murder. When I say that it's like two Jokers in a crowd. I'm talking about two jokers. It's two of them niggas.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Big bouncer-ass niggas running around the crowd. You ask what to do? Look, it's too many cameras. I'm going to tell you what to do. You got to just act crazy. You're not going to win. Them niggas is big. Just start throwing everything you can so niggas can say you tried. Start throwing chairs, popcorn, whatever's around. Take it
Starting point is 00:34:49 short. Do what you got to do. I know you in them seats where you can't lift a chair up when you up there because they was pretty far back, but you don't want a nigga to be like, world star, you got to do something. There's as much as you can do. Do what you can do because you're going viral. You're going viral. You feel me? I would fall out. What I think about it is this. My personal opinion is, yo, I'm really disgusted with the Laker fans.
Starting point is 00:35:16 What the fuck you mean suspend Joker? This is how bad it's become. Ten games lost in a row. Niggas like, oh, his brother put some money. Joker can't play. That's what your Laker fans is doing now? You want to suspend the Joker so that the Joker can't play because his
Starting point is 00:35:29 brother punched somebody in the face. That's wild. Y'all don't want the best Denver team. Any win y'all can get at this point, y'all are trying to take a win. So now the Joker brother gets into a fight. We don't know what was said, what went on, what happened, but suspend the Joker because
Starting point is 00:35:45 pathetic. Pathetic. This is the lowest I've seen the Laker fans that y'all are begging for a Laker, I mean, pardon, begging for the Joker to get suspended so that y'all could possibly get a win. Disappointing and sad because, you know, I watch
Starting point is 00:36:02 Magic Johnson. I watch Kobe. I watch Shaq. I watch Byron Scott. I watch Michael Johnson. I watch Kobe. I watch Shaq. I watch Byron Scott. I watch Michael Cooper. I watch fucking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. This is sad. Tell the fight, put him out. Put him out. It's wild.
Starting point is 00:36:17 It's wild. Gain your composure, Laker fans, because I'm disappointed about that. What do you think LeBron would say? Kick him out? LeBron? No, I mean, he shouldn't say that publicly. If he thinking to keep it to yourself. Because that's, now if LeBron said that,
Starting point is 00:36:40 everything I just said, every fan in America would just be saying it. Going crazy. LeBron don't want to play no competition. LeBron don't want to play no competition. LeBron don't want to play against nobody. And LeBron's been playing absolutely great. So I'm not going to say he would say that. But if he was even thinking it, don't say it out loud because the ridicule that comes behind that is going to be crazy. Well, watching these playoffs, one thing I did pick up on, do you think Pat Bev is the
Starting point is 00:37:07 most consistent player in the league? Like his number-wise? What, the single-single? Triple single. Triple single. I remember Wendy's used to have the triple burger. They used to have the triple burger. They used to have the triple joint.
Starting point is 00:37:30 The triple cheeseburger joint. My nigga Jarmai, remember them triple cheeseburgers? Pause, man. Triple cheeseburgers. He's like a triple cheeseburger. I guess he is the most consistent. I can't fuck with the triple stack. Yeah, five, four, and three again.
Starting point is 00:37:50 Yeah, I can't fuck with the triple stack. But what I will say about Pat Beverly, to me, he's the most professional player. And when I say most professional player, because he doesn't cry about getting traded, and he gets traded a lot. And when he gets to a team, he gives 110% no matter what team he goes to. So when I talk about an ultimate professional basketball player,
Starting point is 00:38:14 not crying, not complaining, not saying, damn, niggas traded me, this, that, and the third, I think he's the most consistent professional being all the trials and tribulations he's been through as far as being traded and not crying about it. I will say that. The most consistent player, I'm not going to say that. And then I'm assuming you're not saying that either.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Are you saying he is? No, I'm saying stats-wise, he is. Versus stats? Five points. What, four assists? Five points, four rebounds, three assists, five points,
Starting point is 00:38:48 seven rebounds, eight assists, two points, five rebounds, two assists. Maybe yes. Okay. We're going to go to break.
Starting point is 00:39:01 When we return, we will discuss Wemby's thoughts on distractions. Don't go anywhere. She called this thing about toxic. Four years and counting Got you feeling like an option Maybe I'm my own problem, babe She tired of hearing, I don't know What's happening, me won't fall
Starting point is 00:39:40 Dealing with this thing called trust. But she really thinking about it. She wanna be free. Why am I in this one? She wanna be free. Welcome back. Now let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day. Tonight Miami will play the Celtics. Underdog fantasy has Jason Tatum at
Starting point is 00:40:03 25 and a half points. Do you have them higher or lower? Mace? Higher. I'm going higher. I'm going to go lower for us. I don't think they're going to have to be out there that long for us. Okay.
Starting point is 00:40:16 You sensing a 20-point lead? Yeah. If Terry Rozier and we know Jimmy Butler's not playing, I give Miami zero chance of winning any of these games. Maybe if Terry Rozier come back, maybe sneak one or two, maybe, but Triple J won't get it done by us. Triple J, Staddy said Triple J won't get it done. What about Tyler Hero?
Starting point is 00:40:46 You don't think he could be a hero? What position he play makes pause? Shooting guard. Who's a shooting guard for? Who's a shooting guard for Boston? Jalen Bryant. Exactly. exactly who you rap about
Starting point is 00:41:10 dang well I you told me the other day Jalen Brown was Batman yeah you're right
Starting point is 00:41:17 so yeah no it was a rhetorical question but it's like I was trying to see if that was gonna go for it
Starting point is 00:41:23 well I'm a little bit more optimistic than y'all but what are you thinking what's on your brain about it a lot of things
Starting point is 00:41:30 but I mean if we got it done against the Bulls with Triple J and Tyler and if maybe Duncan or somebody comes back
Starting point is 00:41:37 who can add more points up anything is possible you can't count them out anything is possible I remember we discussed this on the Miami Heat we discussed this last year anything is possible. You can't count them out. Anything is possible. I remember we discussed this. You want religious on the Miami Heat? We discussed this last year.
Starting point is 00:41:49 And I remember you guys were like, there's no chance the Heat is going to win this next game. And they did. Like, it's just very unpredictable. I think I'll see as, you know, first quarter goes. That's all you really can do with Miami. Get a blanket. Yeah, we need to get you one of these.
Starting point is 00:42:04 He's talking about that when Jimmy Butler was playing. Yeah. Yeah, we need to get you one of these. He's talking about that when Jimmy Butler was playing. Yes. And Jimmy Butler's not playing. Yes. So, no. But people didn't even think we were going to make it this far. So, I'm still optimistic. You beat the Bulls.
Starting point is 00:42:18 You beat a tough seed. And that's fine. Now you're playing the number one seed. That's fine. Everything is still on the table so we can see what happens. Speaking of Jalen Brown, Batman, I guess. Underdog Fantasy has him at six rebounds. Do you have him higher or lower, Cam?
Starting point is 00:42:34 Lower. Higher. Okay, and then Bam is at 13 rebounds and assists. Do you have him higher or lower, Mace? How many? 13 rebounds and assists. Do you have them higher or lower, Mace? How many? 13 rebounds and assists combined. Higher. Definitely higher.
Starting point is 00:42:52 Okay, download the Underdog Fantasy app and you can make your picks too. So Victor Wemby said, I feel like I'm immune to the distractions like partying, alcohol, drugs. Why would I ever do that? I don't have nothing to compensate for. So how do you guys feel about Wemby's viewpoint at his age? He said he has
Starting point is 00:43:12 nothing to compensate for. Yeah. Wow. That's the first time I ever heard somebody say that. I've never heard in all the years of watching sports or somebody give that kind of commentary to that statement. Thinking about it, what is his vice then? If it's not that, I mean, everybody should have some kind of vice, but I guess he doesn't have any vice. And I think when you make these kind of statements, I think he should have shared this a little differently because this is going to be the actual clip. If he's ever into something, they're going to use this actual clip as the one to make him look crazy. And I think he's too young to be that, to have to say something that serious. He could have made a statement.
Starting point is 00:44:04 He could have made this same statement a lot of different ways, but I don't think this was the way. But maybe I need to start a media training school. You remember we had media training, Killer? Yeah. They told you what not to say. Yeah, they definitely told you what not to say
Starting point is 00:44:21 and all that shit. This was one of those statements. And social media just do media training out the window. It don't even matter no more. You think so? Definitely. I mean, it depends on your status of celebrity. If you're an A-lister, white, complexion for the connection and the protection,
Starting point is 00:44:44 and you're going on Jimmy Kimball or something like that possibly. But a lot of times, you know, people will say something crazy and then go viral for shock value. You got to think about this. We got Marshawn Lynch who would come up after games and say, I'm only here so I don't get fired. I'm only here so I don't get fired.
Starting point is 00:45:03 He don't want to talk. Yeah. Soon as it's over, all the advertisements, Skittles won't get my advertisement. There's all type of commercials. You got niggas who come up there and do their interview before the game, do their interview after the game, explain what happened during the game, tell them what's going to happen next game. Don't get no endorsement.
Starting point is 00:45:18 I don't want to get fined. I don't want to get fined. I don't want to get fined. Yo, sign that nigga. I want that nigga's L. Sign him. So it's not like before. It's like, what's going to sell people's product and shock value and so on and so forth.
Starting point is 00:45:32 So I just think it's different. You don't think niggas could go to jail from what they say? Yes. They playing young thug shit in court right now. Yeah, they go to court. You go to jail right now. Why you think Fat Joe, after that last shit with Young Thug,
Starting point is 00:45:49 came on Fat Joe, said, oh, 95% of my rhymes is fake. Because niggas is like, yo, I don't know what may happen in the future. Let me let niggas know what I was rapping about was all fake. Look, words are very dangerous and for young guys and people that don't know, you go to jail over emails and texts too.
Starting point is 00:46:11 If you have, if it's a paper trail that it says it's you, you go to jail. You get suspended. Paper trails, it's a lot of shit. We just seen a nigga
Starting point is 00:46:19 get suspended for life for trying to use a fake account to gamble on his self. So yeah. Yeah, that's the part of media training I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:46:29 That ain't even got nothing to do with media. That's just a dumbass nigga placing bets on a fake account. He ain't even talk. We ain't even hear from this nigga
Starting point is 00:46:36 at all. That ain't even got shit to do with media. He just a dumbass nigga. All right. But what was the actual question about Wimby? What did he say?
Starting point is 00:46:44 Yeah, so he said, I feel like I'm immune to the distractions like partying, alcohol, drugs. Why would I ever do that? I don't have anything to compensate for. So considering that he is literally only 20 years old, what do you guys think about his viewpoint,
Starting point is 00:46:54 his mentality? I mean, I know what he was trying to say. I'm just saying he could have just said, you know, I'm a basketball junkie. Basketball is my life. That would have been more, you know, what will work for him in the future.
Starting point is 00:47:10 When you got foresight, you know that's going to come back to be an issue. It always does, you know. And it'd be like, like Cam does me, right? I say something crazy. That's wild. I don't ever do you, nigga. The fuck is you talking about? Pause. That's crazy. He get the tape up there something crazy. That's wild. I don't ever do you, nigga. The fuck is you talking about? Pause.
Starting point is 00:47:26 That's crazy. He get the tape up there and say, that's wild. But then Mase bring the tape back up. I've never done him. Pause.
Starting point is 00:47:33 I don't know what he's talking about. I didn't hear anything. I can say, the way Kim does me. Pause. It's crazy. My bad.
Starting point is 00:47:42 How they remember a clip of what he said on camera. pause it's crazy my bad how they remember a clip of of of what he said on camera and then they go and find the clip that says
Starting point is 00:47:52 you know the exact opposite that would be one of those clips yeah but I mean it's gonna be summertime
Starting point is 00:48:03 so I mean you never know so maybe he did well against Britney Spears But, I mean, it's going to be summertime. So, I mean, you never know. So, maybe he did well against Britney Spears. Yeah, well, you got to think about it. This kid probably was probably 6'2", is 6 years old. He's probably been training for this his whole life. So, I don't really know much about his background, his family, his stability. seems, you know, even when he plays ball
Starting point is 00:48:26 sometimes, I say he's too nice, you know, I don't see the fire in him, so he may come from just a great household who has him saying, I don't need any of that, and Mace is right, this could come back to bite you in the ass pause it down the line but i just think that right now you can look at him he just looked like a pure nice kid man a very nice young man and he might have a good stable community and family at home that keeps him on the right track that's good and he honestly has to because i mean when you when you're somebody that looks like wimpy even just going out and stuff in general, I don't even want to imagine the mess that he goes through just to do simple things.
Starting point is 00:49:08 So, I mean, I guess shout out to Wemby. Okay, so we're going to switch gears to football super quick. So the Jets traded Zach Wilson to the Broncos. The Jets will receive a sixth round pick in return and will reportedly pay part of Wilson's $5.5 million salary next season. Question is, do you guys think that this is the end of Zach Wilson's career, or do you guys think that this is a good start for him? Well, new start. What do you think, Steph?
Starting point is 00:49:36 Do I think that this is a good start? I don't know. I feel like for Zach Wilson, this is kind of the end of his career because, I mean, they're going to start. Jared Sittum, I would guess. Zach Wilson has a little bit more the end of his career because, I mean, they're going to start Jared Siddham, I would guess. Zach Wilson has a little bit more experience than him, but I feel like them already kicking him to the curb after already being a top pick, you know, earlier in the draft. And now getting traded, being, you know, traded out by Aaron Rodgers. I just feel like it's going downhill. He doesn't seem to have much favoritism by anybody which is mean to say but it's the truth
Starting point is 00:50:06 so shout out to him because I know he's chasing his dream but I don't really have high hopes for him shout out to him because he's chasing his dream but you don't have
Starting point is 00:50:14 high hopes yeah that's just that there's nothing else to it they're rubbing all paws on you Stats Stats
Starting point is 00:50:24 shout out to him. This is crazy, Stats. I don't, I don't really, I've never been interested in Zach Wilson.
Starting point is 00:50:34 He thinks he's having fun, yo. I don't know what to say to that. As far as Zach Wilson is concerned, it's really sad
Starting point is 00:50:44 because he's only 24 years old. Do I think it's in his career? No. Look, we've seen Geno Smith be a backup for years, years, and then finally got his opportunity in Seattle probably, what, maybe his eighth, ninth year in the league. I think Zach Wilson is really young.
Starting point is 00:51:03 And the bad part about this situation to me is this. I would usually say he needs a fresh start. Playing in New York is hell. And just from a media standpoint, a fan standpoint. But going to Denver, it's too much history with the Broncos. They're not having it either in Denver when it comes to football. And they got a championship team in basketball. And then it's history.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Whether it's John Elway, whether it's Peyton Manning, whether it's the championships, whether it's Shannon Shaw, they have a history of winning there. So it may just be as much pressure in Denver as it is in New York. So I wish him well.
Starting point is 00:51:44 I think he's really young. Hopefully he'll find the right situation. Is this the right situation? I have no idea because let's say he was going to, and I'm not talking about quarterbacks or players or coaches.
Starting point is 00:51:56 I'm just thinking city-wise. Let's say he was going to North Carolina because not much is expected there. Maybe, you know what I'm saying? But Denver's a big football city and it's going to be a lot of pressure on whoever the starting quarterback is there.
Starting point is 00:52:16 Okay, now we got to discuss Kaitlyn Clark. She's signing an eight-year, $28 million Nike deal. But for some people, it caused controversy since they're arguing that there are other WNBA players already in the league who don't even have a deal like that. So just in general,
Starting point is 00:52:31 what do you guys think about the discourse between that? And then what do you guys think of the major deal that she is receiving? Yeah, I think anyone's upset with Kaylin Clark's deal doesn't understand the publicity that's on the line here. When you think of being in front of a national camera for 36 games almost back to back, that type of
Starting point is 00:52:56 promotion, you would have to pay top dollar for. And to think that it starts this way, if she plays half of the way she played in the NCAAs, it's going to make her a bigger star. Everything about her is leading to more money. We knew this. Even the big three was offering her $5 million a year.
Starting point is 00:53:20 So she was destined to make that amount of money. And I think instead of people getting upset with her, get a better agent or, you know, stay in school. She did a lot of things. She did a lot of things, right? She went, she, she stayed down, paused till she came up. She went, she's from Iowa. She stayed in Iowa.
Starting point is 00:53:41 So she had that whole community and village supporting her. And there's nothing like shining at home, you know. So that created this whole frenzy. And when she gets to the WNBA, you got to think, Under Armour wanted to offer her, I think, a few million. I think it was about $4 million. Let me get my notes to be exact. And then I know she was offered $16 million. I think it was about four million. Let me get my notes to be exact. And then I know she was off
Starting point is 00:54:05 at 16 million. And she turned them down because they didn't reach the number. She had a number in her mind and she got the number. So why is somebody upset with her? It makes absolutely no sense. All they got to do is work on their game
Starting point is 00:54:22 and get a better agent. Don't be mad at Caitlyn Clark. She's getting $28 million. Don't they want sisters to get paid? Or they don't want a white girl to get paid first? I think that's what it is. Definitely what it is. It's not even if they're mad about Aja Wilson not having a sneaker.
Starting point is 00:54:44 That's what it's 100% about. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, always going crazy. Why doesn't Aja Wilson have a sneaker? Why she ain't got a sneaker? Yo, she's defensive player of the year. She's a champion. She's league MVP. Da, da, da.
Starting point is 00:54:57 Why doesn't she have a sneaker? That's a good question. Listen, let me talk to America and listen, also the world. Because, you know, one thing, we didn't win the award, but it was over 70 countries that voted for us. So I'm speaking to the world. It's just been 70 countries. So let me talk to the world.
Starting point is 00:55:17 When you deal with corporate America, it is no feelings involved. It is purely business. And a lot of people get emotional over race over how good you are over if this person's a better basketball player football player rapper singer whatever it is all about business for corporations in corporate America. And it's all about, can you sell their product? So is the best rapper as marketable as maybe one of the worst rappers? No. I watched a documentary. It's called Defiant Words. Really, really good documentary. Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. Really, really great documentary. And Jimmy Iovine came up to Dr. Dre and said, yo, we're going to come up out with these Dr. Dre sneakers, man.
Starting point is 00:56:13 We're going to sell them to Stan Thurber. Let's get this done. And Dr. Dre, like, I'm not no fashion. I don't want to sell sneakers. Like, why would I sell sneakers? He said, what do you want to sell? He said, well, I make beats. Like, can we sell speakers?
Starting point is 00:56:26 Jimmy Harvey said, I'll be back next month. Comes back with Beats by Dre. Beats by Dre, for people that don't know it, it's not just headphones and Bluetooth and everything else. They're tuning cars now to how Beats by Dre's go. So now your car is Beats by Dre, the surround sound in your car. But they knew what would market, well, Dr. Dre knew what would market best for them. And that's how it goes. So back to the topic of Caitlin Clark. We had some, and I know I joke around a lot,
Starting point is 00:56:58 but black America's been doing so well that we just be thinking that we passed white America. been doing so well that we just be thinking that we passed white America. And realistically, we haven't. And when you get a white superstar, America shows their ass. And that's what's going on. You got a great basketball player, Asia Wilson, so on and so forth, but it's Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, Reebok, whoever said, could she sell our shoe? Could we sell our shoe? Because when you sit there and say, uh, Caitlyn Clark got $28 million, first of all, that equals $3.5 million
Starting point is 00:57:28 a year if you do the division. Yeah, and she was getting three in college. Right. So at the end of the day, I'm not saying it's not money, but don't act like she goes
Starting point is 00:57:37 and gets $28 million put in her pocket. Secondly, it's an investment. It's an investment on if you sell the sneakers. So if Nike doesn't make their $28 million back, they take a loss. They're not just giving people $28 million to say, hey, we like you. Take the $28 million and just go off with your life. It's business. million a year, whatever our contract breaks down to, they say, we have to make this amount of sneakers. How many sneakers do we have to make to... How many sneakers, pardon me, America and beyond, how many sneakers do we have to sell to break even? Then after that, how many sneakers
Starting point is 00:58:15 do we have to sell to make a profit? And then that's what it's really about. Companies want to make profits. It's not about favoritism. Maybe, but it's about business. And it's about marketability. And she's very marketable right now. I want Asia Wilson to have a shoe and every black young lady to have a shoe. But she's marketable. And I'm not saying you young ladies aren't.
Starting point is 00:58:39 You said Asia who? Asia Wilson. Asia Wilson. So from the Aces? Yes. That's what everybody's mad about because she doesn't have a sneaker. Yeah, that does make sense.
Starting point is 00:58:48 Right. So I'm not saying she's not marketable, but people are up in a frenzy and nobody was paying attention when I was talking about this during the NCAA tournament, not the sneaker part, about having a white superstar from America.
Starting point is 00:59:01 That shit is, because we joke so much, people don't know when I'm serious. And I'm dead serious since Larry Bird has not been an American white superstar as big as Larry Bird,
Starting point is 00:59:12 and it's showing now. And all the different sponsors that's coming out. The viewership, when she's on television, 19 million viewers. This matters, and companies look
Starting point is 00:59:24 at these analytics and they say, we need to make this investment. So as much as I want all our black young ladies to get sneakers, take what I just said into accountability. And I'm not saying go viral tomorrow to try and get a sneaker and do something crazy, but it's about marketability and people investing their money. Like for instance, I'll give you a great example. I have a few different companies. Like for instance, I'll give you a great example. I have a few different companies.
Starting point is 00:59:43 And somebody comes up to me and says, um, Kim, I want a model, dim set couture, one of my clothing lines. I'm like, are they marketable, Murda? I don't know if you can sell these clothes, man. Word, I carry, I got a lot from the eye test. I don't know if you can sell these clothes, man. Word. I can't. I got a lot from the eye test.
Starting point is 01:00:11 I don't know if this is best for my company. For my company, I don't know. How do you think Asia could have made that type of money, though? Pardon me? How do you think Asia could have made that type of money? Well, to be honest with you, I'm just. First of all, what happened is this. Everybody, nobody was thinking about the white card until the sneaker shack came out. So I didn't know Aja Wilson didn't have a sneaker.
Starting point is 01:00:35 It was a frenzy on Twitter and Instagram. Once Caitlyn signed this $28 million deal, now everybody out the world works. Aja's MVP, Aja's a champion, defensive player. I didn't even know she was a defensive player. I seen it on Twitter. N everybody out the world works. Asia's MVP. Asia's a champion. Defensive player. I didn't even know she was a defensive player. I seen it on Twitter. Niggas going crazy. So I'm sitting there like,
Starting point is 01:00:52 they just don't get it. But marketability-wise, for those that are, let's take race out of the cart. Right. A tall, a super tall player is never as marketable as somebody that's the common height.
Starting point is 01:01:10 Right. This is true. That's just common knowledge. You know, I don't see why. But it makes me understand that people on Twitter don't know what they're talking about. There's no way I would not put the money behind Caitlyn Clark after what she did in those finals. See, the problem is this, Murda. You've been in, see, what happens is this. You've been in business for years.
Starting point is 01:01:36 I've been in business for years. And we understand it. And not just Twitter. People who've not have been lucky enough to be around corporations and business and they don't know so now they're emotional off the race. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:48 And they're not thinking business like business minded because it's emotion. It's not business. When you're in certain shit you got to take emotion
Starting point is 01:01:57 out of it. Yeah. And look at your bottom line. And that was a great example by me and I just thought of it but like and I don't want to call be disrespectful or call anybody ugly but if i don't like the way you look
Starting point is 01:02:11 i'm not putting you in my clothes to do a campaign yeah to sell it because i don't think that you could make me my money back you have to think about this outside of just the sneakers it's ads that have to go out it's gonna have to be commercials that have to be about this outside of just the sneakers. It's ads that have to go out. It's going to have to be commercials that have to be spent. It's probably going to be more than $3 million spent in advertising to get it out there. This is business. Yeah, and another thing that I'm thinking about now that we're speaking of this is that many athletes, especially, and they really get mad about this, but it's the truth,
Starting point is 01:02:48 is that they don't understand what branding is all about. They want to live their lives, but they want you to invest top dollar into them. No, when we give you the big money, there's a certain way you have to carry yourself. It's not about trolling and all of the stuff that they would like to do. And they know who I'm talking to. It's not about what you would like to do. If you want the big bucks, like Stephen A came up to you one time and he said, I put this on because this gives me the money. And he said, don't be like the mother guys that didn't want to put the suit on. He said, you're going to make nigga money if you present yourself like a nigga.
Starting point is 01:03:33 And people want to act like niggas, but they want to make corporate money. It just don't work like that. Not in the big scheme of things. And Mase is right, but the add-on, too, is different scenarios for different things. And Mace is right, but the add-on too is different scenarios for different things. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Because sometimes you can still be a nigga and be you because they see they are following. Yeah. Birdman got a hundred million
Starting point is 01:03:56 with this one and this one dot on his face. Master P, 400 million known living soldiers because they like, oh, they got
Starting point is 01:04:04 the black America. Yeah. That's them. We need them soldiers, because they like, oh, they got the black America. Yeah. That's them. We need them niggas. So when you- But he got chips. No, what I'm saying is- He got Uggs.
Starting point is 01:04:14 No, what I was going to say is, what I was going to say is that those are niggas that came into the game with their own money already, too. Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? So when you look at that, when you got your own money
Starting point is 01:04:25 and niggas is like, yo, you can't do this nigga because they fuck off nigga. I already, I'm getting it. You want to be down with me. Don't tell me what to do. But when you ain't got the money,
Starting point is 01:04:35 sometimes you have to compromise and about what how Mace just told you. Yeah. To answer your question though about Asia being able to get a deal like that, I think it would, which we're seeing now,
Starting point is 01:04:47 the WNBA would need to advance more because Asia has all the stats and the ace is just one. She was basically what you would consider the face of the WNBA. So people are like, okay, since she's been doing this in the league and now, you know, Kaitlyn Clark hasn't even stepped foot on the professional league yet. They're just like, there's discourse on that.
Starting point is 01:05:07 Kind of just like, example, like South Carolina, they went undefeated the whole season and even won. But then like, Kaitlyn Clark was the one who instead was on SNL.
Starting point is 01:05:15 And I obviously understand because Kaitlyn Clark, I don't like using the term marketable because when I say- She got on Saturday Night Live. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah. Why didn't Asia go on Saturday Night Live?
Starting point is 01:05:24 No, what she said, and to cut that point, they say, why Dawn Stanley I'm talking about. Yeah. Why didn't Asia go on Saturday Night Live? No, what she's saying, and to cut that point, they say, why Dawn Stanley? Because Dawn won. Yeah, basically. Yeah, so that's the point that I'm making because I definitely see both sides. I just don't like using the term marketable because just because Kaitlyn Clark is, you know,
Starting point is 01:05:39 super, super hot right now, doesn't mean that the other girls are not. But, you know, all eyes are on NCAA women's basketball because Kaitlyn Clark kind of advanced that. But basically, people are just urging, like, there are other players who are very deserving because I do believe Asia Wilson is very deserving of that as well. I don't like that. I'm going to use Cam words now.
Starting point is 01:05:57 I don't like that. And this is what I don't like because I'm often a victim of this. Like, just because something happens for me don't mean that, you know. You know what I'm saying? I don't like that. I don't like when something go good for me
Starting point is 01:06:19 and they got to be a problem with me and you, bro. This is what they chose. This wasn't something I thought of. I'm just the beneficiary of this particular business deal. I'm going to tell you a story one time.
Starting point is 01:06:36 I remember I stopped doing music. You don't be saying nothing. I stopped doing music, right? And I came in the studio. Nigga like, yo, I don't be saying nothing, man. I stopped doing music, right? Killer. And I came in the studio. Nigga like, yo, I don't know why they gave this nigga all this money.
Starting point is 01:06:52 He don't even like rap. And I'm like, my nigga, if you been rapping 60 years, then why don't you get the money? Them giving me the money shouldn't make me and you enemies. Get your manager to go in there and negotiate better for you. That's what I would tell Asia. You can't get mad at Kaylee because that means
Starting point is 01:07:14 this deal has already been here. Why don't you go and tell your agent to go get that deal now that she got this amount. We should be getting this amount. Don't hate on the player. It's the game. Just real quick got this amount, we should be getting this amount. Don't hate on the player. It's the game.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Just real quick, Mace, just so you know. Yeah. I don't think Asia's mad. It's more people were mad, not Asia. So I don't want to seem like they're beefers. Yeah, I'm not saying really Asia either. I'm saying whoever is up to that. I want people to be like Mace is creating a beef just so you know.
Starting point is 01:07:44 What I would like to ask though is that if it's not the word marketability, what word would you use? Yeah. It is marketability though. Because when you say marketable, it makes it seem like Asia's not marketable when she has all the lists of accolades for a woman in the WNBA. So it's like she is in the WNBA, but outside of the WNBA. Talent don't make you marketable. It's some girls that walk past, and I'm not saying she's not marketable, but I am saying that talent doesn't make you marketable.
Starting point is 01:08:16 That's why there's one person that doesn't have the stats is getting a deal because that's what they want to see on the camera. When you talk about marketability, it's what they want to see on the camera. When you talk about markability, it's what we want to see on the camera. Do you want to see somebody? Let me ask Cam this. Cam, would you date Asia? Would you date her? I've never seen her outside.
Starting point is 01:08:41 I seen her one time at the party, but I've never seen her outside. Like, I seen her one time at the party, but I never seen her outside of basketball gear. And for me, like, I got to see what you look like in them little booty shorts with the line at the bottom. I need that before I can tell you. But moving forward, to answer your question, I just, and there's no disrespect. And not that he would date Kalen, but he would make, he know that the money is there. Real quick in Asia.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Him as a money guy. Yeah, real quick, Asia, very pretty. I love Asia. No, I'm just saying, we're from the 90s when your face card counted, because you ain't know what bitches bodies look like. Yeah. You know, uh, She's actually good looking.
Starting point is 01:09:20 Yeah, that's why I said the face card is good. I'm talking about, you know, in the 80s, 90s, you ain't know your bitch had a body until you got in the house. Ain't no baggie joint. I seen Brat one day. The Brat had a body. I said, the Brat got the fatty?
Starting point is 01:09:34 I didn't even know. For years, I didn't know Brat. You're killing it. You got to chill out. It's a fact. He wore some shit with the titties and the air. I'm like, yo, I've been watching the Brat for 12, 13 years at that point in my life. I'm like, yo, I've been watching the brat for 12, 13 years
Starting point is 01:09:45 at that point in my life. I'm like, yo, ain't no brat had that body because in the 80s and 90s your face card mattered. Now you can just go get eyelashes and take your rib out and transfer shit
Starting point is 01:09:57 wherever you want to transfer it and get some Daisy Dukes and niggas going to go crazy. So as far as answering your question, Mace, I don't know if I would date her or not, but I think she's a very beautiful lady. and get some Daisy Dukes and niggas going to go crazy. So, as far as answering your question, Mace, I don't know if I would date her or not, but I think she's a very
Starting point is 01:10:08 beautiful lady. But it goes back, it goes back to what? Yo, leave me. Yo, this nigga. Yo,
Starting point is 01:10:16 this nigga here. Yo, and he showed me something nothing to do with Asia. He just showed me something different. But it goes back to, it goes back to this murder.
Starting point is 01:10:28 Let me ask you a question now. Let me ask you a question. I asked you a question, right? Yo. Oh, my goodness. Go ahead, ask your question. They're trying to make me look like a tobacco. Yo, that was wild just now. That was crazy.
Starting point is 01:11:01 Let me ask you a question, right? Yeah. I started to show off with what we gonna find somebody if we had to go find somebody to get our votes up and to get our shit sold and to win the award
Starting point is 01:11:20 who would you rather have if we gonna get what's it called? Webby Award. If we need Webby Award votes, let me ask you this and I'm asking you, Stag. Would it be better for me if they're in Asia
Starting point is 01:11:36 or would it be better for me if they're in Caitlyn if we want Webby Award votes? Let me ask you. Okay. Caitlyn Clark is the hottest NCAA women's basketball player right now.
Starting point is 01:11:52 No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No. Can I explain something? She is... No, let me... Can I explain something? She's the hottest NCAA women's basketball player
Starting point is 01:12:02 right now. Number one draft pick. Cool. But I feel like just because Kaitlyn Clark is hot right now. Number one draft pick. Cool. But I feel like just because Kaitlyn Clark is hot right now doesn't mean that Asia is not deserving.
Starting point is 01:12:09 You just said who would you vote? Yes, for the Webby Award. I asked you if I was dating one. But also say Kaitlyn Clark wasn't available. Asia could help you too.
Starting point is 01:12:20 I'm not asking you none you're talking about. I asked you one question of one name. If we want Webby Award votes tomorrow and I had to date one other and the world knew
Starting point is 01:12:30 who I was dating, who would date out of Asia and Caitlyn? I'm not saying it's right or wrong because I'm not, I'm just saying. If we, because Taylor Swift
Starting point is 01:12:41 obviously influenced the votes for them to win the award so we need influencers to help our show get votes me dating caitlin or me day asia what do you think i help us get votes that's all i'm actually i didn't ask you because the face and she's been around who would help us no i didn't say that i'm saying caitlin would be the obvious answer but back to the shoe deal, I still think that Asia is still deserving.
Starting point is 01:13:08 I think Asia deserves you too. Because I just want that to be clear because that was the argument. Because I'm like, I think Caitlyn Clark definitely deserves this deal. Everybody should be happy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:19 No, and I am. That was the first thing I said. Everybody should be happy. When I said that Caitlyn deserves it, people were like, I don't like Caitlyn does deserve it. It wouldn't make sense for her to not sign a deal. But I also see why people are advocating for Asia.
Starting point is 01:13:33 That's it. Maze made a good point. And out of all of this, and this is my final saying, I'm not talking about Asia or Caitlyn or anything like that. Yeah. What he said during this whole segment
Starting point is 01:13:44 that we're talking about that I'm taking away from this, me personally, and I knew this, but what you should take away is because you're the best at something doesn't mean you're marketable. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:57 That's how I feel about it. Well, let us know what you guys think in the comments down below. But that is all the time that we have for today. Thanks for watching. and as always, it is what it is.
