Starting point is 00:00:00 Okay, we're back at it. Hey! Back to It Is What It Is. I'm Treasure Wilson, aka Stat Baby, along with your host, Mace, and Cam. What's good, bro? Yeah, what's good, man? Shit, I'm good. I can't complain, man. What's going down? You got the bucket on looking like ace.
Starting point is 00:00:44 Yeah, man, bucket low like fuck it, though, with the lumberjack. Like, I'm selling crap. Got it. Got it, got it, got it. Okay, y'all. Well, glad to see you both, y'all. We're going to get into our game to prediction. It's the way y'all be laughing at me. We're going to get into our game to prediction. So as we know, Spurs versus Knicks, Mace, who do you predict wins this game? Oh, man, this is interesting. I want, I want, I think if the Knicks win,
Starting point is 00:01:21 this is gonna be a sweep, man. I gotta, I gotta go with New York. Cam gotta come home, man, Cam, they're looking for you, Cam. Everywhere they're asking, where is Cam at? Is he a part of the Knicks now? I think it's time to go home, Cam. I'm going with the Knicks, man. Look, no, as crazy as that.
Starting point is 00:01:44 Niggas be saying coming up to me and be like, yo, Cam, you don't fuck with the nicks? I'm like, the nicks ain't fucking with me. Niggins ain't been fucking with me for 50 years, niggins. But I see a lot of niggins be like, yo, Cam, man. Yeah, don't celebrate with us when we went down there? Who the fuck is us? I don't know you, niggas.
Starting point is 00:02:07 I don't know you niggas. You're tagging, yo. Yeah, when we do it, don't come with it. I don't know you. niggas. Half you niggas come be outside when I was really outside nigger. So y'all go enjoy your gentrified celebration.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Fuck is you talking about? You know how many people would have died with the nix would have won when I was outside, Nick? Murder. Murder, murder, what are you talking about? Don't celebrate. Go enjoy your gentrified wins. That's what I'll say.
Starting point is 00:02:40 So we'll start there. Now, prediction wise. Look, I'll say this, man, the Knicks look really good. And that game won of that, that game against the Spurs reminded me a lot, a lot of game one against the Cavaliers. The Knicks were off for a certain amount of days because they had just swept Philadelphia. They were rusty the first two, three quarters,
Starting point is 00:03:04 came back from 18 and ended up winning, and the Cavaliers could not recover. This looked like the same thing. Not as bad as the Cavaliers, I mean, pardon me, spurs up 14 points in the third quarter, up seven points in the fourth quarter. And they let Jalen Brunston start Jalen Brunson, being Jalen Brunston.
Starting point is 00:03:26 And Jalen Brunson, you know, we sit there and say the best guard in the East Coast. He's looking like the best player in the NBA right now. Me and Church were sitting there talking about it. Like, you know, he didn't play against Shea. So we'll see, you know, that topic's for another day. And you think about Luca as the other point guard. Lucas is going to score on Jalen Brunson. But Luca can't stop Jalen Brunson.
Starting point is 00:03:46 We're like, God damn, you know, he's looking good. The only other option right now is that when we're talking about guards, and even though we're talking about Jalen Brunson is a tough guard no matter what, because you're talking about all these great defenders that San Antonio had, which they do have great defenders, but they did good for three quarters, but then fourth quarter he came. Only ever hope is the nigger took the whole season off is Kyrie Irving. That's about it when you're thinking about guards.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Scott Rie took the whole year off. I don't know what kind of dancing is. she and he going to come back and be. But I'm looking forward to that as well. But as far as my prediction, I'm going to go on a limb and say San Antonio because I do agree with Mace. I'm not going to say sweet, but I don't think
Starting point is 00:04:27 they recover from my O2 lead going to New York. And that's my opinion. Maybe they could get one in New York. Maybe they can't. Maybe if their backs against the war and they say, yo, they're backs against the war and say, no, we got to win these two. I wouldn't want to go to New York down 02, so I'm going to say San Antonio because it's not, it's like a must win almost.
Starting point is 00:04:50 It's just about you have to win. Nicks already did what they had to do, a stole home court advantage from y'all. So to me, I'm going to say San Antonio because this is, you might as well look at this as the series possibly being over if you don't win. So the answer San Antonio. And also, you know, me and Church was talking as well, Statt, the Knicks last year, right. We talk about growing pains with San Antonio, how they probably a year two, I had a schedule where they shouldn't be here, et cetera, et cetera. Church, shout to church. He brought some of my attention. How the Knicks last year, they beat Boston, they beat the champions, and there was almost a foregone
Starting point is 00:05:30 conclusion. Not necessarily won the championship, but everybody thought they would go to the championship. And then they had their heartbroken six by Indiana. They went through that. So when you see the next play this year, they like, nah, we ain't something. Nigel, we went through that. There ain't no celebrating. They ain't know nothing. And Church brought to my attention suddenly that the one man shot the man Kevin Garnett said as well, how after beating the champions, the spurs, when being
Starting point is 00:05:57 them is up there crying, hugging, celebrating, excited, and they beat the defending champs the same way last year, the next year the next year, the next year, the defending champs. And it was like, all right, we about to win it. And I think the Knicks felt that before a pause, and like we're not doing that to where the spurs have it. This is part of the growing page. Fuck is we crying about getting to the championship.
Starting point is 00:06:21 I know we're at the schedule, but we're here now. Tuck them tears away. We got four more to win. And that's something that I didn't pay attention to, so St. Antonio to me is in a must-reland situation. Good point. And both teams are definitely having different reactions. So I'm even just like for the sake of the series, I'm hoping the spurs win this game because like you said, it is a must win.
Starting point is 00:06:46 And I feel like hopefully that game one would have clicked like, all right, like this isn't smooth sailing. Because I feel like a lot of people kind of had a foregone conclusion not to like dis the next, but I feel like a lot of people immediately were kind of thinking like, okay, San Antonio's got in the bag because they beat OKC. But nothing was going to be a walk in the park. Hopefully game two, they make those adjustments that they're supposed to make. and hopefully when we go sickle mode, because if not, like May said, it might be looking like asleep. I would hope not, but that's the way that it might be looking.
Starting point is 00:07:16 So we will see. Okay, so hypothetically speaking, right? And I'm not even to say hypothetically because we don't know what's going to happen, but say the Knicks win this whole thing. And we've had discussions about this before, Mace, but want to get your solidified opinion on this, does this make Jalen Brunson the best Nick of all time? Where would you rank him?
Starting point is 00:07:35 I think right now he's the best to make of all time. I'm serious. I don't know if the social media might be getting to me. That's why I don't go on social media. According to social media, they say they got the alien, but we got Jalen Brunson. This is what this story is going around the lead. The people in New York are changing everybody's mind. I think when it comes to, when you think of some of the greatest Knicks, Patrick Ewing, he never got it done.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Who else? Bernard King, he never got it done. I mean, there's some guys that you can look at, Willis Reed, Walt Frazier. I think if he gets this championship, you got to put him up there because of the style of play that he's actually going with 30. a game, you know, it's nobody better than him. And he's electrifying on the court. He's not just playing good. He's electrifying.
Starting point is 00:08:44 He's defying all ours. When you guys, that's like 6'6 and 6.5, and he's just barely six feet. It looks like it makes for a better story. So I got to put him up there as the best Nick ever. I mean, the points that he's been able to put up series after series. And this is back-to-back years. Normally, when people see you do it one year, they lock in on you, they got the scouting report on you. He shouldn't be able to do the same things and even more.
Starting point is 00:09:18 And when you see him do this against somebody like James Hardin, who is a first ballot Hall of Famer, this is, he's not doing it on nobody's false. These are really guys that are like that. This is Paul George. This is now it's Wendy. Now is Castle. These are guys that's in their prime of their life. This is unheard of, you know? I mean, the last person that played this good
Starting point is 00:09:48 that's been under 6 foot four has been Dwayne Wade. I'm being honest. The last person that played this good. I mean, you could put Iverson up there. Iverson is another one. but I'm talking about people who actually got it done. This will be a phenomenal one. Yeah, and Duane Wade is tall than 64, so I'll absolutely.
Starting point is 00:10:13 How tall is DeWain Wade? Six, six, six, six. He's six four, exactly. Oh, he's six four? He seems taller than six four, but yeah. I'm still next to him. I didn't know that. I thought he was told him that, but yeah, that's a good point, makes.
Starting point is 00:10:26 And that nigg is six too. I'm going to say this. Mace is 100% correct. For me, he would be the best Nick ever if he pulls it off. But the records that he's breaking along the way is just ridiculous. Not only that, the win streaks that are going on. They're making this look really easy along the way. So to me, he made the best Nick ever if he wins.
Starting point is 00:10:52 I can't argue with people who's older than me who've seen Clive Frazier and Willis Reed. You know, God bless the best Nick ever if he wins. dead. My mom, I'd be like, yo, I used to fuck with us. I was like, yo, who's your team? She said, 73 next, I don't have a team after that. I say, yo, mom, talking about now.
Starting point is 00:11:11 I said, no, I'm not doing it no more. I left school. I went to Brandeis, and then I went to the garden, and Willis Reed, and then pulled his hamstring, came back out and won the game. I was there, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you wasn't. I was 11th grade. I left Brandeis
Starting point is 00:11:27 and went to the game. So I'm stopping there. So I don't want to do that to people who actually see the Clive Frazier and the Willis Reeds, but if you're asking Cameron, for me, Jalen Brunson would be the best Nick ever. But I don't want to discredit the people who would actually still alive
Starting point is 00:11:47 who still actually got to see Walt Frazier. You got to think, well, Frasier's. You got think, well, Frasier be at the games, and he's like, you got to think, you know, he's real cool. He does an nonsense and so enough, you know, you know, with a loud outfits but kind of laid back. Imagine his demeanor when niggas be doing all this like, I'm all smacking Jerry Weston these
Starting point is 00:12:06 dickers around, man, that's the logo. I think he's been bugging. I'm lucky it wasn't. You know what I'm saying? That mentality. But for me, my answer would be yes, Jalen Brunson, but I don't want to discredit the people who still alive to got a chance to see the next one last time they won. They have a different opinion. Yeah. Also to add
Starting point is 00:12:26 this. A great way. Wait, damn, that's crazy. What? I didn't know your mother went to Brandeis, man. Yeah, man. My mom's went to Brandeis, man. My mom, when she went to Brandeis, and she always bragged about her.
Starting point is 00:12:40 She left Brandeis after school to go to the chip and watch niggas went out and all that. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, yeah, that's a fact. Because I used to be like, Mom, who's your team now? She said, I stopped in 73, don't ask me. I used to ask a year after, year after you.
Starting point is 00:12:56 And it would always be the same answer. The 73 nicks, don't ask me nothing else. I was 11th grade. That's an angle. I was also going to add, I think the way that Jalen Brunson is playing is also gaining him a lot of respect because even to your note about Walt Frazier, he even said that he counted him out because we all saw when Jalen Brunson got injured. And then he had to go to the locker room and he got stepped on, but even just still
Starting point is 00:13:19 powering through not even playing his best, still being able to drop 30. Like the running joke on Twitter, they're like, Jalen Brunson died three times and he still walked the spurs down. Like he's been going through a lot during this finals already. So just I think that precedent that's being set is already. And even kind of how you were saying, you guys were both saying before like, well, Mitchell Robinson's fingers injured or whatever, he still should play because New Yorkers would still have a lot more respect for him
Starting point is 00:13:44 rather than sitting on the bench and watching them play it out. So I think as a whole, this energy that we're seeing from the Knicks and specifically Jalen Brunson is adding to those things to give him more of that legendary status. And we're not even at the ring talk yet, which could, very much so happened. So we will see. And in the comments, let us know what y'all think about Dalen Brunson and where y'all would rank him
Starting point is 00:14:04 because some people say maybe it's too early, but I think right now, I think what we're seeing is showing that it's deserved. So we'll see. Okay. No, you got it, you got to rank them as the best snake because he's doing it today, new hotness. Got to put them today's right.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Yeah. Wouldn't be new hotness if you put them number two. You got to put them right there. And I know people be thinking I'm trolling, but I'm trying to figure out how the young boys think today. They're basically in their minds, if he get one good season, Cam, he's right there behind magic. One guy told me, he said if SGA were the one championship,
Starting point is 00:14:47 this back-to-back MVP years, he would be better than magic in them, or you would have to put him right there. He said, Magic never did that. I say, this is where we're at. So if they was going there with Magic and SGA, I gotta give him the best Nick ever. See, my thing, that's why I'm glad I'm not a young boy and listen to foolishness.
Starting point is 00:15:09 You know what I'm saying? I can't even process that nonsense, nigga talking about he went back and back in the magic. Magic Johnson won a, this is Magic Johnson three years. He won in high school, then he won in college, then he won a championship his first NBA, first year in the NBA, after Kareem Abdul Jabbar got hurt,
Starting point is 00:15:28 had to play center in that championship because Kareem got hurt and won a championship. Who the fuck wins high school, college, NBA, three-year-time, five-time league champion, think three times the league MVP. Listen, if y'all young niggas want to go with new hotness, that's on y'all. I get it, but I'm not going to sit here and act like I didn't see it.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I saw it. I'm not doing it. Shea Gilgson is, well, not if he won this year. Not have been bad than Magic Johnson. And that's just that. I don't care what y'all niggins is saying, new hotness or not murder. I'm not doing it with the niggins.
Starting point is 00:16:06 Hell, they're out there as my, my nigger. And then back to the other thing, the reason I say Jaylon Brunson has to win it to be the best nick is because, and like I said, of course it's new hotness. And you might have another nigger in 20 years to come and do break all the records. Jalen Brunson, they were like, oh, whatever.
Starting point is 00:16:26 He has to win it for me to be number one. Because it's like you said, you brought some great points, Mace, when he brought up Bernard King and we're talking about Roy Sparrow and Lewis O' and all these other niggins. Trent Tucker. Fucking, yeah, but. The bomb squad.
Starting point is 00:16:44 Yeah, the bomb squad. But I'm, for now, I'm talking about for now, if Jalen Brunson doesn't want it, for now, I still have Patrick. Patrick Ewan ahead of him. And the reason why I have Patrick Ewing ahead of him is Patrick Ewing, his whole, imagine your whole career having to deal with Michael Joy from beginning to end.
Starting point is 00:17:06 You get in the league one year after Mike get there. You stand to the league right after Mike Lee. You have to deal with Michael Joy. And I don't think people recognize what that's about. I really don't. He had them two years when Michael Joy and went to go play baseball out of everything else or whatever. But dealing with Michael Jordan
Starting point is 00:17:25 It's tough, my nigga. Michael Jordan fucked up a lot of people championship. You know, you think about Reggie Miller. No. You think about Carl Malone and John Stock? They should have a championship, right? You think Charles Martin? These people should have championship.
Starting point is 00:17:39 I know y'all wasn't there. But these things were good. He just good. Yeah, they should have a championship. Yeah, they should have one. They should have the Kevin Garnett. Anything is possible. Just won.
Starting point is 00:17:52 But this is a nigger who ruined people's championship. So I'm going to give right now until Jalen Brunson gets it, he will be number one for me. Until then, I got Pat slightly over him just because of what Pat had to deal with his entire career. Joy coming 84, you coming 85. It's a dub, nigga. You know, but killer, Patrick, you only finger rolled his championship away, remember? This is true.
Starting point is 00:18:21 And Jordan didn't even do that. He tried to go down the middle. I remember that finger. I said, oh, man. Absolutely. And Charles Smith missed 17 shots. Layup. Yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:18:35 But that's part. Sometimes it's just in the air. Sometimes it's just in the air. Anything about this? To me, who's your best center all time? Mesa, I'm just asking, I don't know. Oh, man. Man, I gotta go with Diesel.
Starting point is 00:18:51 I gotta go with Diesel. Cause I gotta go with Disa. Okay. I'm gonna go with Elijah, me personally. And that's- Oh, it's Shaq person. I can't lie. Shack broke the back boy. Shack. Shack was Shack, man.
Starting point is 00:19:06 There's nobody that had the pill Shack had. Yeah, I ain't going off a pill. I'm going with... Lajuan swept that nigger. Oh, Shack, my man, too. You don't get fucked up, niggas. You know. Jack was young then, man. Shaq was young.
Starting point is 00:19:21 I hear you, but you're talking about new hotness, right? He was new hotness. He was new hotness. You go on with new hotness. It was telling you new hotness at the town. Lodge, I'm wasn't for new hotness. I think Shaq is, it's a great argument, because you can't go wrong with either or.
Starting point is 00:19:43 I mean, if you're going with big men's, if you're going with big man skilled, I got to go with their best center from Harvard. I got to go with Louis Alcind up. I got to go with Lou Alcinda. Yeah, I'm not mad at any of those answers. I think Shaq was the most unstoppable force.
Starting point is 00:20:03 Like, yeah, like, yeah, my nigga, just get out the way, my nigga. Move, man. You know what I'm saying? But that's a great point, too. Definitely we're talking about, you know, Kareem, for people that don't know when Mace is talking about, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:17 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's name was Lou Al-Sinda before he became Kareemaradu-Jabar But yeah You know, that's an argument I had The other day, uh, Dahliaz with sin And I say, yo, look, we got one superstar ever from New York It's Kareem, one Yeah
Starting point is 00:20:38 I'm talking about superstar. We got a few all-stars here and there But can you name outside of Kareem Because maybe I'm forgetting when I'm having an argument a super not an all-star a superstar from New York not on the next from grew up with a superstar he did know what he tried to do and I'm going to tell you
Starting point is 00:20:58 this doesn't count he tried to say huh Chris Miller I like that I didn't think of Chris is Chris a superstar though he's Olympics he's Olympics so yeah yeah we go that that's a good one
Starting point is 00:21:12 that's you said you got help you got help you got help because you know what niggas be trying to do. Niggins will be like, yo, tell me what you think about this, because I'm going to come back to Chris Mullen because I didn't think about Chris, I like Chris, because Chris made the Olympic team,
Starting point is 00:21:26 so that solidifies him. Chris are all-star, Chris run TMC. Chris ain't get the championship, but I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna go for that vote. I like that. I like that.
Starting point is 00:21:38 I like that. But let me ask you this. Because this is what nigg is trying to say, and this is no disrespect, this is my brother. But he's like, yo, Carmel. I'm like, Carmelo then grow up here.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Why is this podcast called Sonny in Brooklyn? I said, I don't give a fuck what you say, nigga. He didn't grow up here. And I don't mean disrespect when I'm saying that. The reason I'm saying that is this, right? When you got an up-and-coming nigga from New York, everybody knows what's going on. Everybody knows Felipe Lopez, oh, what's going on.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Everybody knows Steph Armari was going on. Oh, Sebastian Taylorford, he's the new ones going on. Oh, Lance Stevenson, Lenny Cook. If Carmelo was going on. If Carmelo was going on. play junior high school, high school basketball in New York, you know what kind of movie that would have been, nigger? Everybody would have knew. So I don't really count Carmelo growing up in New York. It's like saying Jordan from Brooklyn. I said that. I said the same thing.
Starting point is 00:22:32 This is, I said that. I said Jordan was born in Brooklyn. Is he a New York, nigger? I said this. See, he said, then you're going to say me and Mace talk. That's what you're going to say, you're going to say, see y'all niggas talked about. I said the same thing, man. So I like, but said you had help. Chris Mullen, I'm vouching for Chris Mullen as a superstar. That's crazy. We might have the best player all time. Jordan is from Brooklyn.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Yeah, if you want to run with that, you could go with that. If you want to run with it. Ooh. But I didn't think about Chris Mullen. I will say Chris Mullen was a superstar. Is there anybody else that I'll forget? Do you think, you don't think Mark was a superstar? Mark Jackson?
Starting point is 00:23:17 I think he was a great, great point card. I think he made the All-Star couple times. Early Mark Jackson, early Mark Jackson, Action Jackson. Mace, you know what a superstar is. I love Mark Jackson, man. That's my brother. That's my brother. That's what I try to tell, niggins here.
Starting point is 00:23:36 It's a difference between all-star. It's a difference between All-Star, man. Superstar is a little different, and I love Mark. I went to Mark Jackson Camp and Goucho Jim. was there I was a kid every morning 7 30 a.m., man. Superstars. So, Dee Wade would be a superstar, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:23:58 You know superstars, man. Yeah, no, because I tell people this all the time, but they act like that's not the truth. Like, what's his name for Mom Cleveland? He's a, he's an all-star. He's not a superstar to me. Oh, Donovan Mitchell. Yeah, Donald Mitchell is a all-star. All right. I agree with that. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:24:21 Yeah, George is not a superstar to me. Right. He's an all-stop. Right. Absolutely. Okay, yeah. We're on the same page. Yeah, super, dude, when Superstar come in the room, they got the Bruce Leroy glow. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Dead ass. Like, you know when the superstars around, man.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Yeah, people start grabbing their girls. They start asking, why are you looking at that Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's the vibe. You know what I'm saying? That's exactly what I'm talking about. And I don't mean no disrespect when I say this. I'm going to say, I'm going to give you y'all a great example, right? Girls have to say, I didn't say nothing to him. Right. Yeah, I wasn't even looking. I'm going to give it to you like this in music form, right? Chris Brown's a superstar. Mario's a good singer. Yeah. You're doing right. I'm just saying.
Starting point is 00:25:32 You know a superstar. Superstar shit. The niggist started being like, oh, yeah, that's a niggas, that's a niggas in there. Then you be like, yo, you know Mario here, right? Oh, my God, that's him. That's when the superstars around the girl's throwing.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Oh, my God, that's him. It's an energy shift. It's an aura thing, too. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. And no disrespect to marry. No disrespect to marry. Great music.
Starting point is 00:26:01 I love his music. Love it. But if two niggins, we walk in the room at the same time. Sorry, go ahead. Yeah, some people be thinking they're superstars, but they're not, though. That's a fact. They don't know. That's a whole fact.
Starting point is 00:26:16 That's a whole fact. That's 100% true. It's a lot of people that think they should get superstar treatment. That's, that they, you know, when you're a superstar could get treated, you don't have to ask. It's already over. Yo, why they ain't got my shit together over here? Yo, why this?
Starting point is 00:26:39 They meet you at the parking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You already met at the parking lot when you're a superstar, man. That's what I told, that's what I told, that time, with that time, and I ain't bringing up no old shit, like, not, not no problems and that,
Starting point is 00:26:59 but that's why I went the time when I was talking about La Mello Ball, and I'm like, you don't want to have an arena contest and walk through the crowd, Nick. It's a difference, man. You don't want to walk. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:11 When I walk through it. You don't beat you out. Yeah. Yeah, I took Nick to the cup with me, paused that year, Nick said, I see what you're saying. I said, yo, that's what I'm telling you, man. You know, when you walk through, it's different. I walk through, I walk through. Yeah, you go to your seats and they act, say, bye, let me see your tickets.
Starting point is 00:27:36 Yeah, I remember, I remember I took sin with me last. I said, yo, that year, Kobe got blessed the dead, was retiring and shit. I said, we got to catch a game. Kobe forever time. I said, let me check the schedule. We had time to go to see him play in Philly. So, you know, I'll have to make sure I got my feet on the wood, poor. Got the tickets right.
Starting point is 00:27:55 So we get there a little late traffic and shit. We walk in towards the middle of the second quarter. Yo, Kim! Yo! Focus on cold. Yo, killer! Oh, yo! All right, it's cool.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Half time. You got to get this. We hear to focus on Colb tonight, y'all. Just focus on it. People got to know, you're right, murder. People don't be knowing. People don't be knowing. Definitely a difference.
Starting point is 00:28:27 And it wasn't Mello. It was his brother, just to be clear. What you mean? Because you said Lamello Ball. It was Jello, Jello. Sorry. Like, because they. Sorry, sorry.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Mello's a superstar. Melo's a superstar. He's a rock star, man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to Jello.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Where Jello at? Yeah, where jello? I must work in the cune-wo. That's what I got. This is what I'm saying. This is what new hotness goes wrong. This is what I'm saying. Okay, we're not doing a breakdown.
Starting point is 00:29:02 We're gonna go. We're gonna move on. We're gonna move on. Yeah, yeah. No shot. No shot at Jello. We love Jello. Shout out to jello.
Starting point is 00:29:14 You always have to be clear, because we just talk so openly and like, you know, on here, I apologize. I don't love Jello. I don't know the nigga. I thought he had a great song. I thought his song was really good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:25 But niggas be speeding. We never, you know, I'm not putting masonism. I'm saying me, like, you know, we was talking about how his brothers is in the NBA at the time and that he wasn't. We didn't mean any disrespect. We were just calling it like we seen it. I'm talking about me.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Like I said, I'm going to take accountability for myself. And then when he came out the single, niggas like, yeah, Cam, you ain't. He didn't know he had that in the cut. I didn't know you right. I didn't know you do me. I was just talking about the nigga on the basketball court. I was talking about the nigga basketball place.
Starting point is 00:29:57 So you're right, I ain't on that cut. Yeah, nigga. Then what's next? This is what I'm talking about, Dala? Yeah, niggas can't fuck with Jello in the studio. Niggas don't want them problems. Just forget everything, man. That's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:30:13 This goes back to shame being better than magic. This is the shit I'm talking about. And now a year later, talking about where's jello? He did that to Joe. Because we didn't. This is where she's going wrong with new, this is where we need another segment called when new hotness goes wrong. Mm-hmm. A lot of instances there, but we won't get into that, y'all.
Starting point is 00:30:41 But like I said, and May said it right, you know, I just, I said I love him, but there's no disrespect towards Joe. I thought he had a great single. We were just sitting there saying, but, you know, when it gets to the comparisons with music or certain shit and that niggas start throwing shots and whatever you won't call me, the OG, the unk, whatever.
Starting point is 00:31:01 I'm still out here. Still out here. Period. Okay, so on to Terry Rozier. So he is requesting the judge modify his conditions of his bond so he can return to the NBA. So Rozier, who was arrested by the FBI in October, and faces charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud,
Starting point is 00:31:20 money laundering and sports bribery as part of a wide-ranging, illegal gambling ring will be a free agent this summer. So an arbitrator also ruled that Rozier must forfeit most of his $26.6 million salary from the 2025 to 2026 season. So as we know, a lot of details in this case. But Mace, do you think he could make an NBA comeback? And if it were you, like if you're a GM, what would you need to see before offering somebody in that type of condition, a contract?
Starting point is 00:31:53 It's sad when things like this happened because somebody like Rogier, you want to see him players. I remember him being scary Terry and what he was doing up there and the Celtics and what he came down to a Charlotte and was about to do. But I think when you get to that place where you're having this this type of debacle when you we got federal agents involved that's just not something you want in a billion dollar business right so so even though he can is nothing he can show me if i'm running a
Starting point is 00:32:30 business because i got to think about will he bring more scrutiny and more and more charges to this team is just something you can't afford to take the risk on when you're dealing with big money, I wouldn't take the rest. You know what I'm saying? Especially, like, think of the team that he was playing on Miami. Do you think Pat Rowley want to be in handcuffs? You think supposed to want to be in handcuffs? No, they can't. They can't, they can't roll a dice on that. I remember God once told me, he said, you know what, if you put yourself in a position where I can't help you, don't get mad that I don't come back to help you. When you're dealing with people that are very strong financially they don't have time to take that kind of risk yeah i think everything may
Starting point is 00:33:20 said is on point but i feel really bad because what if he's not guilty this is that shit where niggas is not innocent till proven guilty you're guilty to proven innocent so imagine all this shit goes on and niggas be like no we got it fucked up it wasn't he he wasn't even doing it now what your name is already smeared they already forfeiting your money from 25, 26. Like, bro, y'all did, y'all taking my money, y'all make, and I'm just saying, I don't know if he's guilty or not, I'm just saying, let's just say, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:53 for the sake of the conversation that he isn't guilty. Now even if I get innocent, the name, you already smear at me so people are not gonna wanna take a chance on me. Like, yeah, you come with problems. You know, same way like right when we had OJ on this show, he was found innocent, Some people didn't want to hear that. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:34:16 Whatever. So once your name is smeared out there, sometimes people in the public court of opinion are going to have the perception of what they want to have the perception of. So as a businessman, though, if I'm a business, like Mesa said, I'm not taking a chance neither because it's just other shit that comes with it. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:34:41 Yeah. And you're fine a try attack, killer. Yeah, but I'm saying, I'm talking about, I'm talking about if I'm in the NBA. Me personally, our show is based on taking chances with niggas. Nigger, OJ here, Maurice Claret here, Mike Irvin coming through. These is all niggins, the niggas tried to smear. And then we got a chance to show, see, look at the other side of the equation. Morgon fucking OJ is a great football analyst.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Maurice Scorrette, go to jail, come out. one of the great, great revival stories or what, I don't know if I'm using the right word, one of the best. Yeah, that's right. Right, revival. Or somebody was down on their story. NFL network talking about they getting rid of Mike Irvin
Starting point is 00:35:26 because he was talking to a female and they looked a little bit shysy. And he comes, look, we're the niggas who say, look, nigger, y'all niggins got, y'all spinning a story you weren't way. We're going to show you the other side of the story and it's successful. So I'm talking about if I'm in the NBA,
Starting point is 00:35:42 I don't know if I'm taking this chance for him. If he was innocent afterwards. But for me, I think it's always great redemption. If I could say it, talking about Cameron that's not working with a billion-dollar corporation like that, me I'm talking about individually. Sit down, hear your story and believe you when you're telling me this.
Starting point is 00:36:02 But if I sit there and go to the tapes and be like, yeah, why are you subbing yourself out with with 38 minutes left to go on the game? Y'all seen the tape, bro. There was no reason for that. I can't work with it. You're like, now you're playing in my face pause. And if you're lying, that's what I don't like is.
Starting point is 00:36:28 Right? Right? Because we the type of niggas to be like, nah, nah, I hear you. But though, let me, you know, explain this. What happened right here? Because I'm going to have the tape ready. Yo, what happened right here on this play?
Starting point is 00:36:43 Why are you, why you subbing yourself out and won't go back in? Tendinitis. Yeah. I think you want to give the benefit of the doubt, though, because there's, like, different tiers of offenses that I feel like are considered extreme in the league and then, like, not as extreme. And I don't exactly know what that threshold is because it's a range. And there's always.
Starting point is 00:37:08 a new problem. So I don't know. It's that. There is a range of things. There's a range of offenses. Sometimes it's like, okay. Let me tell you what I learned. Okay, yes. Let me hear this. That's, you know why you don't get a benefit of the doubt? I feel like I know what you're going to say, but you could say it. There's no benefit in doubting. That is that glued to my brain. Like there are certain quotes that you'll say, that's one of them. Yeah, there's no benefit of the doubt.
Starting point is 00:37:42 And you're right. Because if you think he's so, you're gonna treat him like he's stowed. If you think he's lying, you're gonna treat him like he's blind. There's no benefit in a doubt. So how are you supposed to get out of that though? Like that's really the, that's really the main thing. Like once that happens, how are you supposed to basically clear your name and, you know, like your image? What can you do that actually works?
Starting point is 00:38:08 Yeah, that's why when they prove that you're innocent, you're supposed to sue because it has taken monies and finances away from you, right? So let's say his name is clear. He has every right to come back and sue because there's for the monies that were taken out of his check, the salaries he had to forego, the deals that it may have cost them, and the suffering of his name and potential deals. that they could have possibly had, that all have to be repaid and reimbursed. That's why they call it pain and suffering. Because if you suffered these things and you could prove that I was making these amount of millions a year, and now I don't have that, somebody got to make that right and make that hole again. That's what the court system is for.
Starting point is 00:39:00 Yeah. But also, I don't know what mails a lot of people at the same time. I'm a little about these situations because you just, I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, like the same thing happened with that. That's what happened with Kappanik, right? They put him in that space where they put his name in that particular area. And then no team wanted to mess with him.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Yeah. I don't know whatever happened to that, but he definitely lost a lot of money. Yeah. Well, to add to this conversation, because we have another kind of scenario. So it's for a different reason. This is why I was saying tears. So an arrest warrant has been issued. for Brandon Ayuk.
Starting point is 00:39:40 All I can think of is Odiss saying, Ayuk, but after a YouTube video posted to his account shows him driving a Cadillac CT5E Blackwing at up to 111 miles per hour. So this was posted on his YouTube channel. He's accused of engaging in the misdemeanor of exhibition of speed on a highway. So this kind of ties all,
Starting point is 00:39:59 both of these topics together. But Mace, how much should off-court issues affect a player's employment opportunities? And then thoughts on Iyuk, basically, I mean, because the view to video was recorded by him. So thoughts on that. Yeah, I think the NBA has some, the NBA as well as the NFL has things in place that says as a football player, especially because it's such a contact sports. There's certain things that you shouldn't be doing while, while being paid as an NFL player.
Starting point is 00:40:33 I remember this happened with, with a fellow analyst or, you know, great analyst. over at ESPN and Jason Williams, they had it in this contract. He shouldn't be on this motorcycle. And it came out that he was on a motorcycle. So I know that NFL has to have this when it comes to NFL players. And when you're driving 111 miles per hour, is driving super fast when I was like 19 or something. I forgot how old I was, 19 or 20.
Starting point is 00:41:07 And they wanted to take the car. They wanted to send me to jail. I mean, not just a ticket was sending you to jail. They call that reckless driving or reckless endangerment when you're driving that fast. I never draw that fast again. But that day, I really remember that. So he was going faster than I was going.
Starting point is 00:41:27 I was over the Chesapeed Bridge. I was flying. But then when I thought about it, I was doing about 90. But that was my first. First, you know, BMW, I wanted to see how fast it go. But he was doing 111. Yeah. If he would have just a bump, that car would have flew in a different direction.
Starting point is 00:41:51 So that was very dangerous. I don't know what's going to come out of it, but he definitely got to chill out on that. I'll draw fast when I want. My car's got 225 on the dash. I ain't in the NFL. I was like, the most honest take. But Mace is right. He's 100% right.
Starting point is 00:42:19 I used to drive fast too. Thank God never been an accident. Like, I really be skeptical on my son drop. My two best friends outside of Mace died in car accidents, both of them, in car accidents. So you gotta be careful. With that being said, Mesa, Mesa hit the nail that. The NFL has rules and they're not. know your habits before they draft you or before you go to a team and they put certain stipulations
Starting point is 00:42:45 in place. I don't know if he is even violating team conduct rules, NFL rules, but this isn't his first video doing that. I don't know if I did show the video on this show or if it was on top offully, but I showed a video of Brandon Ayug, and he didn't want to be on the 40 Yacht Islands anymore. And the team was having a meeting and he drove past the team meeting when he drove past the stadium where they was having a team meeting where the 49th's play doing 108 miles per hour
Starting point is 00:43:16 zooming past the 49th stadium and he's supposed to be in there for a team mean but he was doing shit and not get traded. Now they've probably seen that video before and you're still doing it. You ain't got nobody to blame but yourself because even if you want to drive fast, right, or whatever. It's no need to post everything.
Starting point is 00:43:40 Everything's in a post-everything era. What are you proven that your car goes 100, 10 miles per hour, and now you have a warrant? Do I think he'll get in a bunch of trouble-wounded, but no, it could be a headache. They can be like, okay, come turn yourself and we'll let you out in 72 hours. If he can't get out immediately,
Starting point is 00:44:00 now you probably gotta go take a class, pay a file, all this shit because you post it. Now, Mace made some great points. It's not only that, it's very, It's very dangerous, but whatever. Not saying whatever, the mates, but I'm saying, more than that, you didn't probably have to go through this if you didn't post it. Everything is not for everybody.
Starting point is 00:44:19 And I think the professional athletes sometimes believe, not even sometimes, because it ain't just athletes. Some people being believed that they're bigger than the program because of their celebrity or their star or whatever. Same way, like we talk about athletes, and they're like, man, they're going to figure away from me out the past. these classes. I'm good, man. I'm talking about not professional when you're trying to be professional. You know, Dexter Manley, fucking college graduate, best football player ever, and you can't
Starting point is 00:44:48 read or write. And some people think that they could get there above the program. And I, me personally, I believe that he just sent a post of it. Yeah. Or you can post the car. Because I'm not going a lie, like when we got to drive your cars, I was definitely posting in the car. I'm like, I get it's not post everything, but yes, if I'm driving a nice car or I'm in the nice car, I'm going to post it out of here. No, no, no, no, no, no, absolutely. I'm not, no disrespect. You can post my cars. You definitely post the car, but I won't say it. You're posting, breaking the law. Yeah, it's crazy. That's what I'm trying to say. There's a difference. You're breaking the law. Like, that girl should carry it, if I'm not mistaken, the Olympic girl, should there be running,
Starting point is 00:45:32 fast, Shakari Richardson, right? That's the name right there. She went to jail for driving a hundred and a something miles per hour. And there's like, call you on a call. She's like, no, I was trying to get here. I was trying to get there. No, no, please or not. And they took her to jail.
Starting point is 00:45:49 And you got other people who like Vince McMahon doing fucking 120 and he actually crashes and don't go to jail. So it's different rules for different people. But I will say this, for people that don't know. Florida, they just changed the rule. If you're driving over 100 miles per hour in the state of Florida, there's
Starting point is 00:46:07 no conversation. And you get caught, you're going to jail. That's just that. So I didn't know if you were in Florida and you don't know the new law or it wasn't aware of this law, because I know I used to drive on the turnpike from Orlando to Miami all the time. I'm like, we're definitely doing a bug and more because it don't really be that crowd on the turnpike. 100 miles are over and you get caught in Florida, you're going to jail. Heads up, just so y'all know if y'all did. It's also a good thing to note because even in this case, I feel like a lot of people don't know. Like even me being from Florida, I would never know that.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Granted, I'm not going over 100 because as I get older, I don't like the thrill. I don't like people speeding and racing. I don't even like roller coasters. I like my two feet on the ground and being safe. So just if you are gonna, I'm not even safe, you're not gonna do that. Just don't, just be careful, okay?
Starting point is 00:46:55 Everybody should value their lives, please. Mace, did you have a note about this before we move on? Sounded like you did. Oh, no, no, no, I'm cool. Cool, cool, cool. Okay, so on to a comment from Bengals' wide receiver, Andre O'S Chavez. So he talked about online criticism bothering him during the season. He said last year, I felt like I was in my head a little bit.
Starting point is 00:47:19 I had those drops in those games that people were telling me to kill myself. I've never had that type of stuff happening to me before. So it got to my head a little bit. When your DMs are flooded with people telling you to kill yourself, it makes me angry. So obviously, we know the power of social media. media nowadays and how I will say emotionally invested people get in people's lives, right? Mace, why do you think people care so much about comments from people that they don't know? And if they do, how are they supposed to kind of move on from that?
Starting point is 00:47:46 This is kind of like a learning lesson here. I think the internet actually, when it comes to very popular sites like Instagram and TikTok in different places, Twitter, I think they got to start putting some safety guidelines, some more safety guidelines in there just to protect people. I think it's time to do an analysis on what the brain can handle, right? I think when it comes to people that the natural brain is not, is not prepared to handle as much pressure as social media put on some people's brain. Like I think me, I think Cam, every other artist from New York,
Starting point is 00:48:31 that some of us are anomalies, but in the people's brain, But there's this type of pressure really crumbles a lot of people. And I think that we're seeing that in real time. Like people read through a million great comments and answer the negative ones. Right? So there's something about those negative comments. It would be like everybody like, yo, Murthy, you did your thing,
Starting point is 00:48:57 makes you did your thing, da, da, da, da. And one person like, man, y'all still checking for this nigger? And then that just one post right there will mean more than the million of comments that were good. And I think that's something to think about as well. So I think they just gotta put something in there or people just gotta look past it. But I don't think the natural brain has proven
Starting point is 00:49:24 with the case study of what we've seen and people just all around the world that they're able to handle that negative scrutiny, that constantly come through social media. I think it's beginning to bring out the worst in people. Like we're at a place where trolling is now a new hobby. It's a new job. It's like people are on social media, just social,
Starting point is 00:49:49 I mean, just trolling because they can make money at doing it. It's now a money-making job. So it's definitely something, we gotta do something about it. My thing is, you wanna be tortured. You know you dropped them passes. You know you fucked the game up and you go look. Let me see what they're going to say. You know what they're going to say, nigga.
Starting point is 00:50:15 The fuck you're talking about. Yo, niggas kill me. I wouldn't go on social media. I'm turning this shit off. I fucked up everything. What are you dropped a pack? What are you doing that? I dropped a couple passes.
Starting point is 00:50:27 And what, playoffs or some shit? No, just some games. So they just kept going on them. Yeah. Yo, bro, they do this without social media. Social media is just a quicker way for you to know about it. I remember OJ, I know we talk about OJRP a lot today on the show. They're talking about he's going to kick the kick of ass in the ball.
Starting point is 00:50:45 They're going to fuck him up physically. This is sports, man. People are emotionally invested. As cities, it's loyal to our fans. These teams are passed down the generation. I remember watching the little Jets fan and the Jets fan was leaving the arena. He's like, they just was like,
Starting point is 00:51:01 They just was like one in 16. He said, how you feel about the season? He said, look, I'm a judge fan, but I'm not happy about it. I was born into this. He was 13 and depressed. He was upset. Visibly.
Starting point is 00:51:12 They said he was born into the shit. He was mad. Yo, bro, stop watching shit when you know shit bad. And he was like, y'all dropped these past. I fucked up. Let me see the worst shit that's something be said about me. We want to kill you, nigger. Why would you say that?
Starting point is 00:51:27 It's, yo, what? In the problem. You mentioned he meant to parlay. Yeah, my nigga, don't look. People are serious about that. Yeah, don't look. You know you didn't do good. Don't look.
Starting point is 00:51:40 You know, sometimes before we started doing sports stat mates, when I used to really be loving football like that or basketball or whatever, like emotionally involved, if my team didn't win, I wouldn't watch sports center all week. And I'm not even playing. I don't hear what the fuck they got to say about my niggas, man. I'm not even planning and I'm not watching it. Niggas want to torture themselves, mental torture.
Starting point is 00:52:08 I'll say this much, right? They interviewed Jalen Brunson the other night. And they asked them, this is before game when they asked them, what do you guys hear about the outside noise? He said, I don't know, we've been off social media the last month. We're not even on social media. Imagine if you had to deal that roller coaster when you're playing good, not playing good, not playing good.
Starting point is 00:52:26 Do you keep worrying about what nigg is saying? And that's why they nicks may be mentally locked in more than anybody else because they're not listening to outside noise. He said, I don't know. I haven't been on social media for the last couple months. And he's killing.
Starting point is 00:52:41 He should be, he's a nigger that actually should be going to social media and see what the nigger's saying about him. And he's still not going. All I can say is niggas is like abuse if that's the shit that you're doing. After you know you fucked up. Well, also to make a man,
Starting point is 00:52:58 this point too because you can't change the algorithm like it's like as soon as you go on like i'm at the point now like if i log into instagram it's going to be sports or it's going to be closed like so for him obviously like being a player i bet like just immediately even if you're not checking your dms they like throw that in your face and we're at the point where it's like we were never supposed to have this much access to people even just the fact that people can just send you a DM from anywhere across the world or message you or leave a comment it's just like Even if you're trying to ignore it, it's like thrown into your face.
Starting point is 00:53:33 And I think we have this responsibility as like public figures. It's like, we have to be the bigger person. But it's like, who's that? Like, what if I don't want to be the bigger person? But it's like you have to be the bigger person because at the end of the day, we know that we have more to lose. So the whole thing is kind of like messed up
Starting point is 00:53:49 because the people who are mainly getting the hate comments, obviously are public figures, athletes, musicians, all those things. Really? Yes. I feel like it's worse. I feel like what you're saying is an option. It's a million things you could do besides going social media.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Go on motherfucking read a book. Go on the, go to Google. Go watch the TV. Like what you're saying is because you grew up and then I get it. That it's an automatic gotta go to social media. When it's a million other things you could do besides go to social media.
Starting point is 00:54:21 So the first thing you said was, it's like the alcohol room. Stop paying, don't go to the alcohol rhythm. Why would you? Go to the Alka River. You're saying don't touch Instagram, don't touch TikTok, don't touch Twitter, don't touch YouTube. It's a bunch of other, yes, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:54:37 That's exactly what I'm saying. And this is such a great thing to hear this from you. No, because no, this is dope, not in a bad way, because it goes to show, what else will we do if we don't do that? That's the vibes you giving me. If we don't check Instagram and Snapchat and Facebook or Twitter, what else does life have to offer for us? We gotta do that.
Starting point is 00:54:58 That's the vibe that you're giving me. You want mindless, no, this is, this is true. This is one of our first arguments. You want mindless scrolling. Like, I don't want it to be attached to anything. Like, yes, I could read a book, but like, if I'm just thinking, like, if I had a game. I'm exaggerating to a great book, but, like, now I'm actually asking, like, if I'm a football player and I just had a game and I got to take a flat back home and I know that I was asked in my last game, what am I going to do? I would love to just scroll and look at mindless things.
Starting point is 00:55:24 If I can't do that, like aside, yes, I know a book. if like you said a book is an exaggeration. But I'm like, what? Like, I know I'm showing my age, but I'm like literally what, like, we gotta play cards. Like, what are we gonna do to like pass the time? Handicrush. That's sad.
Starting point is 00:55:43 Handy crush. I don't even have games on my phone. That's like, I don't know what I would do. If I want a mindlessly school, I would have to watch a show. That's crazy. I don't even watch shows. All I watch a sports and anime, bro. Sad.
Starting point is 00:55:56 That's it. Sad to nigg. you gotta force themselves to be tortured because they have no other source of entertainment that they could find. And this is great to hear. I love that you told me this
Starting point is 00:56:08 because you're like, like what else I'm gonna do? We gotta go scroll. We gotta, a book? What are you talking about a book? Dinosaur? Do you wanna read a book, nigga? That's really great to know, man,
Starting point is 00:56:20 that you have, not saying from you, I'm just saying the generation, like, that's what we got. We got to go. I need to do a poll. to my followers. I'm like, you don't have books on your phone?
Starting point is 00:56:31 Books? I have physical books, but I don't read books. I don't like reading books on my phone. Like, that just is not fun for me. Like, I have physical books,
Starting point is 00:56:44 and the only book that I read on my phone is the Bible. Like, that's the only book on my phone. I don't have e-books. You got audio book. No audio books? Mm-mm. No.
Starting point is 00:56:54 That's why I'm, like, really sitting here trying to think because the chance is asking, like, what would you do? I'm like, She don't even watch TV. I don't watch TV. That's the point.
Starting point is 00:57:01 So this is all that she does. Obviously, I was going to bring that up. I'm like, you don't even watch TV. Yeah, I don't watch TV. I don't watch shows. I don't watch reality. If I watch a movie, I go to the movie. So if it's not in theaters, it's real rare that I've seen to it,
Starting point is 00:57:13 I'll watch my anime's because they're 20 minutes, my attention span. And that's the Gen Z thing to our attention span is really lost. Like, I can't watch a long video. Like, it's just not going to work for me. That's, you saw Michael Jackson? Yeah, I did. Yeah, I did. I had to go see that.
Starting point is 00:57:29 So, yeah, like I said, if it's a movie in theater, I'm going to go. But, or if it's a game, yes. If it's not that, it's real rare you're going to give me to watch it. And I feel like I speak for a lot of Gen Z. Some people like to watch shows a lot. I just...
Starting point is 00:57:44 But see, that's a great point, Mace, right? That you're online. Think about this, right? This is where we're at in society or from a Gen Z point of view. That you got to go online and care with it. what niggas think or what niggas is saying.
Starting point is 00:57:59 Let me see what people are talking about. Let me see what's going on. And to me, I believe that's why a lot of people, not only talking about that, people don't even really have opinions no more, bro. It's like, yo, this what niggas like? I like it too. Oh, this is what's going on? I'm gonna go with it too.
Starting point is 00:58:20 So you've really being judged on your real authentic opinion because some people don't like to look bad. Some people are like, no, I can't do. do this, if I go against this opinion, that people are going to go start this and me. I doubt we get to this today, and I'm not saying I agree or disagree
Starting point is 00:58:36 with what Boosie said, because I know we have it on the topic, and we're talking about Caleb Williams on the cover, and I guess we talk about tomorrow. Yeah. Caleb Williams on the cover of Madden, and Booty had a real strong opinion about it, and they all his comments, you know, against him, this and that
Starting point is 00:58:53 their, Bousie, I don't get a fuck what y'all talking about? Another person might have folded. You know what I'm saying? Like, oh my God, it's 3,000 DMs of hate. Let me change my opinion before I get a monstrous amount of hate and they're just going to attack me through the phone. Boozy's like, I don't know, this is my opinion. We'll visit it tomorrow. We'll have a long conversation about it. But you got niggas who don't give a fuck with the rest of the world thing. It's like the, like, like, nigga hit me, right? We talking about earlier Mason, nigga, like, yeah, Cam, don't celebrate us with the Knicks. I enjoy not agreeing with people.
Starting point is 00:59:32 I enjoy being, you know, every movie got a bad guy, nigga. I like playing the role, nigga. I don't give a... I'm not here to be nobody friend. I got my friends, and I'm cool with that, my nigga. I'm not here to make your friends. I'm not here for my opinion to be swayed. I'm not here because you think one way, and 20,000 other niggas think the one way,
Starting point is 00:59:52 then I'm going to think the way to talk. I don't knickers is thinking. No, I can't, I can't live my life like that. I just can't, my nigga. And I'm not going to be swayed by what niggas think. I'm really going to go to other way type nigga. If everybody going right, I really got to go left. I just can't. I just can't. I really can't do it. I just can't do it, man. I can't, you know, I can't, man. So I'd interrupt by this one. No, this is a dope discussion. We'll have to continue it because I do want to go on his comments,
Starting point is 01:00:20 like speak on his comments and speak about Gila Williams and then just the disparities in generations and things too. I think it's an overall dope discussion. It's really dope because it's just good to know. Like, you know what I'm saying? I can't get mad at you because you grew up with social media. Yeah, like that's all we had. Like, that's why I had a life where I didn't have to ever see people's comments.
Starting point is 01:00:40 Like I don't, because I really don't, like I just do my thing. I didn't have to see people's comments. But then obviously when you put yourself in a position where you're commentating, everybody has comments about what you had to say. I'm like, whoa, I'm not used to this. And you can ignore. it, but if I want to scroll, like I said, and look at my cooking videos or look at these clothes, it's going to pop up. It's like, dang, you can't even filter it out. So literally it is what it is.
Starting point is 01:01:03 No, that's the thing. It is. If you don't watch it, if you don't watch it, it won't show up for the next 30 days. So you got to bypass some stuff. And that's how the algorithm work. That's a great point, Mace, because you don't have to stop when you're scrolling to pay attention to it. Yeah. You see, like, man, let me tell you.
Starting point is 01:01:23 keep going. You know how many times I see that shit? Like you say, some shit will pop up and you'd be like it's negative. Like, I'm not even going to get myself in a mood. I'm going to keep going. I ain't going to do it to myself for us. Well, great discussion. To be continued, y'all. But that is all the time that we have for today. Thank y'all for watching. And as always, it is what it is.
