Yeah.
And the rock is red glare.
Pause.
Oh, jeez.
The other day I did a freestyle.
The other day I did a freestyle.
I'm in my groove.
I hit the mic like this.
I bring the mic back.
Nobody going to say that was a pause. I'll cam, grab the mic like this. I bring the mic back. Nobody gonna
say that was a pause, I'll cam, grab the mic. You can't do nothing no more. We didn't took,
niggas done took the game too far. Like, like, God damn, man. I'm sick of it. Me personally,
I can't even do this. It's pause. I seen you yesterday, you was like this. I ain't going to say that.
Because we friends this week.
I said, since we friends this week, I'm going to leave it alone.
He wear gold, I wear purple.
We still don't get along.
No, no.
I didn't say nothing.
I'm just telling you the type of shit the fucking internet be on, bro.
I ain't say nothing when you did it because I wanted to be like, yeah, nobody going to say nothing, I'm just telling you the type of shit the fucking internet be on, bro. I ain't say nothing when you did it, because I wanted to be like,
yeah, nobody going to say nothing to Mase about him.
That's what I wanted to say, but I left it alone.
That's why I just, when I moved to Mike, I don't know who petty out there.
I'm not even on that type of time.
I'm sick of y'all niggas.
Shit done went too far, to be totally honest with you.
The pause game.
You seen the fuck? We didn't even talk about that shit after the fight the other day, Ender's
fight.
The whole post-fight shit was no ditty, the whole shit.
The whole shit.
Everything.
They had Eddie Hearn, the promoter, say shit no ditty.
It was crazy, you see me?
Nah fam, he said the nigga Boots said
y'all was just trying to take it all in. The whole
crowd said oh!
Then
one of the announcers said
I mean not the announcer, people asked him the question.
It was like you was in and out with him.
They was like oh! Not just two people.
The whole crowd.
It was crazy. It was crazy.
It was wild, baby.
Shit done went international.
Facts.
That is crazy.
Okay, so let's start with Bronny James.
There's been a lot of discussion around his summer league performance.
Jalen Brown's conversation with his girlfriend sitting courtside watching Bronny was caught on camera, and people interpreted what he said.
So he told his girl, I don't think Bronny is a pro.
She then replied, I think he'll be on the G League team for sure.
So just in general, how do you guys feel about that conversation?
Oh, she said he'll be in the G League.
Yeah, that's what she responded.
Oh, group.
The group agrees on this.
Pause.
This is really interesting.
I would say this.
is this is really interesting um i i would i would say this today i felt so like i felt so bad pause for for brawny i'm not i'm not gonna lie today i i actually said a prayer for brawny he's he's
gonna be good but i gotta give this take jalen brown is is not in favor of Bronny being in the league.
We know this, but this is that Lakers-Celtic hate.
You know, like the Celtics is supposed to hate the Lakers.
I wouldn't have been surprised if Boston would have selected Bronny.
I think that would have been the ultimate get back at the Lakers.
But when you talk about him not believing that he's a pro, that is his opinion. And that is a growing
opinion. I think the people that were on the fence about it are starting to say, you know what,
this might not be a good idea. But I really think Bronny is gonna be all right i think this is exactly what he need to
mature pause and to get better because people are gonna be on him until he gets better and i think
it's gonna be exactly what he needs to be motivated to to live up to that name i know he tried to
change his name to brani but there's no way out of this, son. You got to embrace, pause everything that's coming your way, and you got to work your
way out of it.
And to think that Jalen Brown could say this, but I'm not sure if his girlfriend really
wants that heat right now.
And that would really be my observation.
You know, people oftentimes look for me to tell the truth,
and that would be the truth about this scenario.
The guy who just won MVP, he can say this because he's already going at it with Nike.
He's already going at it with the Olympics.
He's already against Stephen A.
And, you know, his sources, he want him to cite his sources.
So he could say all of this.
This is right up the alley, pause of where he is.
And I remember seeing a picture with Jalen Brown.
Think of this conversation.
Jalen Brown, Kanye, and Kyrie.
That had to be like a crazy conversation.
And to think of him saying this, I'm not surprised at all.
This is a growing attitude of what he's going to display to the league.
And as long as he plays well, he should be okay.
And just like I said, Bronny, you're going to be good.
Just keep working and stay focused.
Your time is going to come and your confidence is going to come.
But it may not be soon,
but you'll get it.
I think niggas
air hustling.
He ain't talk to the media
about this.
Niggas say he was sitting
on that sidelines
watching the game,
having a conversation
with his girl.
So niggas got the mic
or the camera
on this nigga
the whole game
waiting for him
to say anything.
Now he's a topic, our first topic of the day.
And anybody else is going to talk about this as well.
I could see if the nigga was doing an interview and they asked him what you think about Bronny.
And he'd be like, that nigga ain't no NBA player.
The nigga was just literally watching the game, talking to his girl.
And niggas is making this news,
which I'm not saying it shouldn't be news,
but goddamn, this is why NBA players, people out there,
y'all ever see NBA players talking about NBA players,
and they be like, yeah, you know what I'm saying,
so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so,
then they just start laughing, ha, ha, ha, ha,
because niggas got lip readers, pause.
Niggas got all that out there.
Like, yo, bro, you literally are being watched.
Everything you do.
So now we're at the point where you can't even sit in the audience
and have an opinion without it making news.
Without niggas reading your lips.
Yeah, yeah.
That's crazy.
That's what I'm saying.
So I get your point, Murda, but my point is, it wasn't like they did an interview with
this nigga.
It wasn't like his girl just motherfucking was talking shit about him.
I want wifey.
I want my shorty.
I want my girl.
I don't think that nigga be in the league.
Yeah, you right.
He definitely G League.
Now we on Channel 5.
Now we news at 11.
Because I'm just trying to have a regular conversation with my shorty.
So that's first and foremost.
That's how I feel about that.
That's fucked up because he may not have wanted that out there,
and his girl may not have wanted that out there.
I think that I feel bad for y'all because, you know,
Jalen Brown is used to media attention.
Mase brought up a bunch of shit that's really going on right now as far as Nike, the Olympics,
Stephen A, everything else that he's beefing with.
But God damn, he was just trying to watch a game.
And as far as this girl, I didn't, you know, she ain't one of them public figures that
I be following anyway.
I'm keeping up with the baddies.
You know what I'm saying?
A lot of them.
So for her to be involved in this is just fucked up,
totally around the board.
Now to what they're saying though,
I just wanted to put that out there.
What they're saying ain't wrong though.
What they're saying is not wrong.
People with eyes can see this.
I didn't see the last game,
but from what I'm hearing,
Bronny has not had a three-point shot yet.
He had two points his last
game. He has not scored in double
digits yet. He's played in
the California Classic,
which I thought would be less
pressure than Vegas. Got to Vegas.
He's not done
well or performed well at all.
And it doesn't
look like he's going to be playing with the Lakers when the season started.
Now, all things being fair, the Lakers said that most likely he'll spend a lot of time
in the G League.
That's what they said previously before Summer League even started.
So maybe it'll be G League.
You know what I'm saying?
But we can't sit here and act like we don't see what's going on.
So I don't think what they're saying is wrong.
I just think that it's fucked up that what people,
what they said is out there because it wasn't meant for everybody to know
what their private conversation was about.
I truly believe that the G League is more dangerous for him
because if he gets to the G League, and I'm just
speaking of this on the show, I really believe he's going to be okay. But if he goes to the G
League and they have this same energy for him in the G League, there's nowhere to go. Because I
truly believe that he's a target everywhere he goes.
You know how when you get this switch and pause and you get the ball and they switch
somebody on you that you know shouldn't be guarding nobody on the perimeter and then
he's like, I got you.
You don't got me.
Anybody he gets on that wing is taking that personal.
And I think when it comes down to Jalen Brown, after they read his lips, he went on X to confirm what he said.
So at first it was just hypothetical.
They're reading his lips.
But then he doubled down on it, pause killer, and told him, I get it.
It's a flex to have your son playing alongside
of you for legacy's sake, but the boy ain't no pro, and he stood on it, pause.
So I think that was really firm of him to say, you know these young niggas, they have
no respect for the older niggas.
So this is his way of-
Rob Markman I didn't know that part that you just said,
but at this point, if they caught you,
you're going to look like a sucker
if you try to deny it anyway.
You got to stand on it.
At this point, they got you on tape, nigga.
Yeah.
But to your point,
he want problems with everybody right now.
He does.
I mean, he got MVPs.
Like, yo, it's my league now.
So, you know, what you got to do now, Jalen Brown, is get first team.
Go for first team.
Be one of them guys, man.
You from Atlanta.
You should be able to pull it off.
You 6'6".
You two guard.
You got all the tangibles to do so.
And then just so the audience knows, what he ended up tweeting
was verbatim, it's a flex to have your
son alongside you in the NBA. It reflects
greatness and longevity. Bronny has
all the tools around him to be successful.
I look forward to watching his growth. That was
a quote tweet on the video of him being exposed.
That sounds like a plea.
That sounds like you got
caught, man.
That wasn't the energy you had when you was with your girl front row.
That wasn't the energy.
Come on, Jalen Brown.
Marietta deserved better, man.
That sounds like a plea to me.
And then my last follow-up, considering the topic,
does it seem like Bronny can't be criticized publicly
without these people facing backlash
because like you guys said he did have an opinion it was stated wasn't meant to be seen but it seems
like anytime somebody says something about brawny they that person faces backlash and how do you
think that affects his career um i think the more and more you try to give people backlash for the truth it makes it worse because it looks like
you're trying to protect them from the obvious this is what's gonna happen until he plays better
because you got to remember before he came in the league it was that he can shoot it and he could
play defense so now if you got people trying to boogie on him on the perimeter and you got him not making any threes, I mean, for Christ's sake,
he's like 21%.
21% from the field in 0-4-11 from three.
He's 0% from the three.
I don't think I ever, ever heard anybody say you're 0%.
And you hear niggas having a shooting slump.
They're at 30% or they're at 20%.
But 0%?
That's wild.
And, you know, like I said, I've already, you know,
threw up some prayers for him, so he should be good.
But this start is crazy.
And I'm just sharing this because we're on this tape.
I have absolutely nothing against Bronny.
I wish him the best.
I wish the entire family the best.
And I know nothing matters more to legacy like your children.
So it is very important that he does well.
I think a lot of people are waiting on Bryce now, and it's't it is very important that he does well i think a lot of people are
waiting on bryce now and it's just a foregone conclusion that they're saying bryce is the one
bryce is the one but when something happens like this it puts even more pressure on the
next brother to prove this wrong so i definitely i'm rooting for brawny i wish he turned out well
For Bronny, I wish he'd turn out well.
Nigga copped a plate on Twitter.
Is it a plate?
It ain't what you said.
I'm not saying you ain't seen something else.
Nigga said, nah, Bronny has all the tattoos and longevity and nepotism,
and I'm looking forward to it.
And the crowd, nigga said nigga, ain't like that.
I dig it, though.
I dig it, because I ain't going to hold you when we first started.
Mase warned your wife.
Be careful.
That's what he started with.
Yeah, I'm saying, like, when you win MVP, you have the right,
you know what I'm saying, to talk how you want to talk, talk you know but when you got a new girl I mean not a new
girl but when you got a young lady playing in
the WNBA
there are people that are target her now
I'm not saying that I would do this I'm saying that's
what people would do and say who is she
to talk and I don't know if she can handle
that pressure and I'm not
trying to start no war with you
of words or anything like that
I'm I'm just sharing an observation you know listen that's the correct observation so look
at the end of the day Jalen Brown he he'd been at a chip on his shoulder last couple years now
it's seeming like to me he has a legitimate reason to have a chip. This is his brain.
I'm Eastern Conference Champion MVP on finals MVP. Y'all didn't put me on any all NBA teams.
Y'all show, I showed y'all his, you know, his brain.
I'm not saying you're not super duper nice
and I'm not saying you don't deserve to be on
at least the top 15 players in the NBA,
but he like, niggas still, niggas bowl bowling now.
I bet, I get it, I get it.
So I think he has a chip,
I think he'll have a chip on his shoulder all summer,
especially with Derek White making the Olympic team,
and he didn't, so I think.
Yeah, I think that was the last straw.
If I was Jalen Brown, then that's the last straw. If I was Jaylen Brown, that's the last straw.
Come on, bro.
That was definitely a come on, my nigga.
We gotta add that to the list of the top five
come on, my niggas.
Like yo, I-
Look, he put it on Instagram and you know the little,
the rock, the one-eyed brow, like that nigga?
I thought when I seen somebody say this to you on social media,
and there's like, is Steve Kerr trying to break when Derek White was selected,
and somebody said, is Steve Kerr trying to break up the Boston Celtics,
and you say, yes. That was a psychological move.
Because if you put somebody over this person on a team,
then you're setting up confusion for them too.
Because, you know, nigga, like, why you ain't happy for me?
You know, I just made it to the Olympic.
This is my first Olympic.
Why you ain't happy for me?
And now, in my eyes, it's like, it's not that I'm not happy for you.
You don't belong there.
That's my spot.
Well, if you were on the team, would you be happy if I made the team?
And then that creates the little synergy between two players
that's on the same team.
Basically, what you're saying is that Steve Kerr playing the seed
for when the season starts.
Yeah, you're playing the mental seed. I'm not even gonna.
Yeah, I'm gonna make sure you don't get the ball, pause,
because if Derrick White feel like this,
I know when he comes in, y'all two,
we got two for one, pause.
Yeah, because what it is
is a conversation may not be able to fix it
because now when Jalen Brown walks into the, you know, pre preseason practice
or workouts or whatever, he like, what's up now you hitting them with.
Yeah.
I heard what you said.
You ain't got to say no.
If you're a nigga with word, yeah.
Word.
You don't know what to say.
Cause you like, cause if I'm Derek white, my man hating on me, my man.
Exactly.
Cause if I'm Derek White, when I walk in to a training camp for the Celtics, if I don't
speak to a nigga throughout the summer, I, he definitely getting this and nigga like,
yo, she left, all that. Left hand.
He better call him now in the summertime and straighten it out.
Like, yo, that ain't true.
I don't know.
Yeah, my problem wasn't with you.
My problem was with the USA selection team, you know?
But that's what I'm saying.
I'm part of the selection.
It's hard to fix, man.
Might have been playing the seed, man.
Okay, so moving along,
Pat Bev's podcast broke the news
that he is headed overseas.
They tweeted,
they gave me everything I asked for.
I couldn't refuse.
He plans to sign with Tel Aviv, B.C. in Israel.
Knowing that information,
do you guys believe Pat Bev
made the best decision for him in his career?
What's the money about? What do you guys believe pat bev made the best decision for him in his career what's the money amount what you mean like they gave him everything paul's he asked for wow just they gave me everything i asked for i couldn't refuse
but they shout out to bev they gave him everything he asked for and he couldn't refuse.
But what is it that he couldn't refuse?
So basically the two options, and I don't have the number that he was weighing between,
was an NBA vet minimum contract and a historic contract in Europe.
So I'm sure when he finalizes the deal, they'll tell us the amount.
But it's got to be a lot of money.
Let me tell you something.
Let me tell you something about black people.
If this is a historic amount of money, they're going to let you know all of this historical amount of money and nobody knows.
That's not black people.
I'm just being honest.
You know any black people out there?
You're watching this.
Am I lying?
Do you know anybody that got a lot of money that didn't let you know as black people,
especially their first time getting a lot of money?
They want the whole world to know.
You know I just signed for 80 million, right?
You know nobody ever got this kind of money.
Rob Markman That's a fact.
Rob Markman Right?
Rob Markman That's a fact.
Rob Markman I don't know.
All of that trying to hide it.
They gave me a number I couldn't refuse.
What's the number?
What's the number, Pat?
That's what we want to know.
And we fool with you up here.
We keep your name hot.
Right?
Right here.
Killer, keep your name hot.
And I'm helping now.
Right now.
What's the number, Pat?
Stop all of this, man man. Steven they got sources.
Pat Bell.
Don't need the information so I can have a source man.
I mean but it had to be something.
He can't lie that much on Twitter on X.
You know it'll come out that it was if it was a low amount.
Yeah.
Then he'll be capped for the century.
So it probably was something good.
I would be taking the NBA veteran minimum
if the NBA veteran minimum was really, really an offer.
Let's look at Pat Beverly's stats.
Let's just do the last five years.
We'll go off the last five years.
LA Clippers, 7.5 points.
Minnesota, 9.2 points.
Lakers, 6.4 points.
Chicago, 5.8 points.
Philadelphia, 6.3 points.
Milwaukee, 6 points.
Career average, 8 points.
Are they offering you the veteran minimum
or they said, nigga, you're a great defensive player,
you could be an asset, but you 36 years old
and you throwing a basketball at fans in the crowd.
When you started throwing that basketball shit
at fans in Indiana, that's when niggas said,
up, that's it.
That's it. Yeah, give him an offer he can't
refuse. Yeah.
Yo, bro, you wowed
out with that shit, bro. And when you did it, I
knew it would be consequences behind it.
You should not have thrown it. First of
all, you threw the ball at a lady
at Indiana in the crowd. They threw it back
to you thinking maybe he doesn't know what you're doing.
And then you threw it harder, pause,
at the man.
And that's the last time we seen you.
But what's funny is you're saying they gave me everything I wanted.
That's hilarious.
Because what is everything you wanted?
And what Mace said in the beginning,
I'm going to have to agree with.
This is black people.
We like to brag when it's something real.
When it's something real.
But to me, my personal opinion is uh you got
to think about Patrick Beverly he's an asset as far as defense is concerned he's harassing uh
harasses you um a great team player you know he's on the bench he claps for you etc tries to lift up
your spirit sometimes it's a little overwhelming I believe his first day playing with the Milwaukee Bucks, the nigga grabbed the clipboard. Doc Rivers said, hold the fuck up, man. You chill
the fuck out. When we had Mark Jackson on the show and we asked him his opinion about
that, he said, Pat Beverly's going too far grabbing the clipboard the first day on the
job. But to me, when he threw that basketball at them people, it's kind of like a little
bit of the writing on the wall. And I'm not wishing that on you just telling you my opinion because when you're 36
and you're not a prolific prolific player you're kind of starting to seem old now you when you say
36 years old you're looking at Steph Curry at 35 you're looking at Kevin Durant 35 36 years old
we're seeing what LeBron James is doing is amazing.
36-year-old is when Dwayne Wade retired.
That's prolific.
You know what I'm saying?
That's a prolific player.
You can't do certain things at 36 and be like, yo, ask your agent,
so what's up?
Yo, you just tried to give a nigga bunks in they face, man.
What are you doing, man?
That's just not going to happen.
I wish you luck over there, bro, in the real.
Be safe, bro, and I wish you luck.
Okay, we're going to go to break.
When we return, we will discuss the second draft pick,
Alex Sarr's performance during Summer League.
Don't go anywhere.
Forzingus.
All of shit, yeah, we the shit.
Shit all year round is money
See, yeah, I mean flip counts. I got rich over this bounce girl ain't no sales in Gucci
We ain't looking for a discount
It's only money
Why you like it funny?
Why you like it funny?
It's only money.
It's only money.
Welcome back.
Now let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day.
So the Fever will play the Wings.
Underdog fantasy has Kaitlyn Clark at 20.5 points.
Do you have her higher or lower mace?
Higher.
Higher.
Who playing who? Fever will play the Wings. Kaitlyn Clark, 20.? Higher. Who playing who?
Fever will play the Wings.
Kaitlyn Clark, 20.5 points.
All right.
Okay, Aaliyah Boston's at 28.5 points.
Rebounds, antics combined.
Higher or lower, Cam?
I'm going to give her a higher.
Wow.
This is good.
You know what I was looking at, man?
I was looking at Kaitlyn Clark.
I can't remember the exact amount of turnovers she has this season,
but three of them were her fault because she has a lot of turnovers.
They show every turnover she had from people not being able to catch the ball.
She was dropping doms like magic.
And a lot of her turnovers are people not catching the ball.
I'm not trusting the teammates.
I seen the video.
It wasn't even like I heard about.
They showed, you know, no disrespect because Caitlyn Clark's America's
apple pie right now.
So they're going to find reasons why she not doing well not to see him.
But when I actually seen the video, I was like, no, this is tight ridiculous.
So are you for sure, Killer,
that Boston is gonna have higher?
With all three of them, I'm not gonna say for sure,
but what it is is that it looks like their team
is starting to click a little bit.
They was rough in the beginning,
watching them the last week and a half.
Kaitlin's clock's starting to look a little bit more like
sophomore Kaitlin Clark in Iowa, not senior Kaitlin's clock's starting to look a little bit more like sophomore Kaitlin
Clark in Iowa.
Not senior Kaitlin Clark, but at least sophomore Kaitlin Clark in Iowa.
And Leah Boston's been playing better.
She has.
The stat says she's surprised because I usually don't be giving a Leah Boston prize.
Lower, lower.
But it looks like they're getting in sync.
Yeah.
Yeah, it looks like they're getting in sync.
And how many
28 and a half points rebounds and assists
i'm gonna go high okay then tasha howard's at four first quarter points to ever hire lower mace
all right lower okay download the underdog fantasy app and you can make your picks too
so the second pick in the 2024 NBA draft, Alex Saar,
didn't score any points on 15 shots in a summer league game versus the Blazers.
How do you guys feel about his performance
considering he was the second overall pick, Mace first?
I'm really surprised at this.
I truly believed that he was going to be better.
I know you can't judge everything off one game,
but when you're selected high in the numbers of 1 through,
let's just say 1 through 10 or 11,
you don't get anywhere and get two points.
I mean, anywhere, matter of fact, from 1 to 17,
you're not supposed to be in summer league getting no two points. I mean, anywhere, matter of fact, from one to 17, you're not supposed to be in summer league getting no two points.
I don't think anybody, let me even go higher than that,
anybody in the first round should be able to go to summer league
and get more than two points.
This is just uncalled for.
This is a waste of time.
This is a waste of talent.
And not he is, but when you have that much talent and you get to the NBA,
you're supposed to go crazy.
Don't act like this is what Wimby did last year
because they don't have him high like Wimby, right?
So, you know, somebody might try to argue,
well, Wimby ain't show up in summer league, but he went crazy during the year.
You're not Wimby.
That's the first take.
And I think when he's going to this wizard team,
that he's going to have to be a major contributor.
And I think right now he should be doing that and practicing to do so
because when the league start, it's going to be
much better competition. I don't like when people try to turn it off, pause and turn it on because
it doesn't work like that. All the people that try to turn it off and turn it on,
when you necessarily need it, they won't be able to produce.
So I really don't like this.
I don't like this for him because if you remember,
I was talking high of this guy and saying that he would be a good player and how much he had all the intangibles,
pause he was able to handle the ball, shoot the ball,
break people down off the dribble, get to the basket, create for his team.
But he made Titletown look crazy yesterday.
And I don't like that.
Don't ever make me look crazy.
I don't know that nigga.
Take our guess, I don't know.
That's why I don't watch niggas.
I can't get that two hours of your life back.
When I started knowing about niggas, I watched it.
I'm going to go with Maysett.
I don't know the nigga, so I didn't pay no mind to it.
And this further confirms why I haven't been paying any mind to it.
Sorry.
So, yeah.
Yeah, what he said.
I don't know what was worse, worse killer his performance or the girl singing the
national anthem that was crazy this was this was comparable both of them was just horrendous
okay well with that being said let's just jump to that really quick so the people know we're
talking about so ingrid andres had a disastrous national anthem performance at baseball's annual home run derby.
In an attempt to clear things up, she tweeted, I'm not going to bullshit y'all.
I was drunk last night.
I'm checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need.
That was not me last night.
I apologize to MLB, all the fans in this country I love so much for the rendition.
I'll let y'all know how rehab is.
I hear it's super fun.
So what was your reaction to her performance and the apology that she said to the people?
Yeah, this this this thought I almost, it's two times when something crazy has happened like this.
And each time I had to run to the bathroom.
Listening to this was just, I don't know who booked this for her,
but whoever booked this for her, they deserve a raise.
They deserve to be the top agent of the year.
I'm not top agent, you know, right under Rich Paul.
If you were able to get her this gig sounding like this, you need to expand your roster.
Because this was crazy.
And people say she was drunk.
But what happened to when you're drunk, you tell your sober thoughts?
That's how she just sounded crazy.
This was crazy.
I don't know what was worse, her singing or who was that that threw that pitch
that didn't make it to the mound? I mean pitch that didn't make it to the mound?
I mean, it didn't make it to the plate.
I got to remember, but this is on the top 10 worst things I've ever seen.
Glad she wasn't black, man.
Happy about that.
Can't embarrass us.
I'm just happy that she wasn't black, man. That's what I
will say.
Same good time and then you fucking up the national anthem. Niggas just pop Trump in
the air. Niggas just trying to, white people trying to fuck. I'm glad that person wasn't
black either. We all out celebrating the dude this week, fellas and ladies. Because if it
was black, they'll be trying to fuck with us. I hope y'all do know that. If any of these two situations were somebody black, they would be fucking with us to the
top of the mountain for us.
But look, she was fucked up.
I've seen people fuck up the National Anthem before, but maybe not to this high extent.
And to admit that you're drunk,
at least you took accountability for it. What I don't like is that you said,
I'm going to go to rehab and it sounds fun.
I never heard that.
I've never, unless you plan on sneaking out of rehab
once in a while to do the shit that you already was doing.
Rehab is a grueling process from what I see.
I used to go see friends outside of Phoenix House.
I don't know if y'all know what Phoenix House is,
but they used to come outside smoking cigarettes.
You know what I'm saying?
And they got to go back in.
Yeah, they got to go back in.
They can't keep still.
Yeah, man, that was two weeks.
Just tough it out, man.
You'd be tough it out, man. You'd be shaking. Yeah, yeah. Listen, man, that was two weeks. Just tough it out, man. You'd be tough it out, man.
You'd be shaking.
Yeah, yeah.
Listen, man.
Rehab, I don't know.
It's not fun.
Listen, man.
I'm not saying I was a part of this.
But I was a rehab on Park Avenue, probably about under the train.
Maybe about, I want to say about 130th, 429th and Park Avenue on the uptown side.
And I know some people that went outside with crack
because when they would come out for lunch, they knew they was weak.
They made a lot of money.
It was like the perfect place to sell drugs at.
I don't know if y'all know Harlem Landskate.
It was dark over there.
Park Avenue got a little train.
It's by the projects.
It's a lot of place to make some good money.
You don't know what's going to go right or wrong in rehab.
And a lot of people do finish rehab, but they end up relapsing.
I think this might have been the right thing to say,
but people always use the rehab button for me personally
when it's always over the top.
We've just seen this most most recently Ryan Garcia say KKK
Call niggas niggas and be like y'all buggin. I need to go to rehab. You already said it now rehab
Niggas can't keep running to rehab every time shit goes left money. Everybody wants to run it. Oh, no what I'm going to rehab
But what I will say I did not like the fact that she said it's fun I've never heard that one ever yeah that was crazy okay so the Nuggets first round pick Daron Holmes the second
is most likely out for the entire season after suffering a torn Achilles he was injured during
the Nuggets first game in summer league and left the arena in crutches how do you guys think this will affect the nuggets um the nuggets was definitely
on the books and on on the clock to get some talent on this team and with them losing brown
with them losing what was the other the other guard they had uh pope yeah they they lost so much firepower when it comes to the wings
that they were really looking forward to this and for this to happen it almost like set them back
i'm i'm i'm thinking right now they're in a desperate situation where they're gonna have to
find a two guard very fast and they're going to have to find a backup um backup three
to michael porter because with this happening it it's like it put them right at the place where
they are which is the same why everybody else got a little bit better and they're above Golden State they're above Sacramento I believe even with with the
addition of um the Rosen but they desperately need a wing they desperately need a wing so
I don't know what their plans are but when they got this pick from Phoenix they definitely thought
they had something and Achilles is not a easy thing to come back from
because he's young hopefully and I pray that they will but Achilles takes a step
from you I don't know how many people told their Achilles after you tell your
Achilles you're probably never the same
Yeah, I think they were definitely, I can't say their plans, but you lose Caldwell Pope, you lose Bruce Brown.
We see, and I'm not going to say that losing Bruce Brown is the reason
that they didn't advance last season, at least to the Western Conference Finals,
but he was a key player on that championship team.
Caldwell Pope, a key factor on that championship team.
And bringing this first round pick in,
I think that maybe they thought,
we can't say because, you know,
coming out of school and playing in the NBA,
it doesn't always transfer well
the first couple years for everybody.
But I did think that they would pick up
some of the slack that they may have been lacking
with the two players that they lost.
So this will be a real, real big loss for them
as far as their bench is concerned.
The nigga Reggie Jackson, I fuck with Reggie Jackson.
That's my nigga.
But he isn't doing what Bruce Brown was doing.
He just, he's not.
Bruce Brown was just a different nigga.
I was even like two years ago when the Nuggets won,
I was sitting there saying,
why are they not playing Reggie Jackson?
I know he just came off a trade, but he wasn't getting no burn.
And when he got Bruce Brown's minutes last year,
we could see the difference.
I think it's devastating for the Nuggets because at the end of the day,
I don't really know too much about him,
but I'm pretty sure they scouted this kid.
They did the whole due diligence on him
that their homework and they're saying this is who we're gonna put in these guys place and now
you don't have them you don't have Caldwell Pope so I'm not gonna say and act like I got a bunch
of knowledge on him but I see that he did average a little over 20 points throughout his career
before he got to the NBA so we'll see what happens yeah and just to add to that so when he played at Dayton
he started all games in this game that he got injured before he was injured he had 11 points
and seven rebounds in 26 minutes and then he was supposed to be a top front court reserve for the
Nuggets so yeah yeah but but quick quick question killer so um because I heard you say this, and I want some insight on this.
You don't think that Bruce Brown was the key piece that was missing from their championship team?
This is why we can't be friends, Mason.
This is why I said I'm going to check on you now.
You're scaring me again.
Starting to scare me again. I actually said he was a key piece on their championship team,
and it showed last year when he wasn't playing with them
why he kind of been missing.
I said that when Reggie Jackson got his minutes,
he wasn't producing as much as Bruce Brown was producing
the year they won the championship.
So, yeah, I did say that Bruce Brown was a key.
But your first statement was different than that.
It wasn't.
Yes, it was.
You want to bet?
I asked Nick to play a bet.
What you want to bet first?
I don't bet, but I'm sure you said something.
I mean like walk to your car with no shoes on,
that type of bet.
You want to bet that? I think this is a great idea.
Do you want to bet?
I bet you that one of us got to walk to the garage.
When you first started before you said that.
All we gotta do is bet.
We'll stop the show.
No.
What did you say then?
What did you say?
I just told you twice.
This one scared.
You said, no, it's nothing to be scared about.
Cause I love you.
No, you talked about, you did say that, but before that, what did you say about-
Rob Markman, Wait, I didn't say that, White?
Rob Markman, Yeah, you did.
I did hear you say that.
Rob Markman, I believe he's definitely said that.
Rob Markman, White, did I say that?
You said, the first statement.
Rob Markman, The first statement, White.
What did I say?
I don't even want to make my man walk barefoot.
Rob Markman, No, no, no, no.
Whatchamacallit was, they needed Bruce Bowne.
That was a big loss.
That's what I said.
Rob Markman, Reggie Jackson didn't do as much.
That was his first statement?
Rob Markman, Yeah.
Yeah, murderous murder.
Rob Markman, Yeah, yeah, murderous murder.
Rob Markman, Yeah, yeah, yeah. They needed Bruce Bound. That was a big loss. Reggie Jackson didn't do as much.
That was his first statement?
Yeah, that was my first statement.
All right, well, I'm going to listen back.
No, he said that.
And Reggie Jackson, by the way.
Matter of fact, pause the show, Nick.
Play it back.
Play my first statement back.
Play it back.
Play it back.
I said this on other shows, too.
I said this on other shows too.
Yeah, I think they were definitely, I can't say their plans,
but you lose Caldwell Pope, you lose Bruce Brown.
We see, and I'm not going to say that losing Bruce Brown is the reason that they didn't advance last season, at least to the Western Conference Finals.

and they're saying this is who we're going to put in these guys' place,
and now you don't have him.
You don't have Caldwell Pope.
So I guess in the comments, let us know what you guys think.
But did you guys have one more point about Deron Holmes before we move on on no i don't know this nigga neither to be honest with you i don't
know either this draft was weak the most famous person in this draft is brony james that's why
we keep talking about brony james about everything we talked about the nigga one call of duty
yesterday like oh brony james is the summer league champ of Call of Duty,
that's good.
Like, come on.
That's what we talking about.
What was the reward for that?
$10,000.
You're already getting
that for allowance.
Like, come on.
This is what we,
I don't know these niggas.
Steph,
was you at the tournament?
No,
but I wish I was.
I wouldn't want to play.
You a gamer?
Yeah.
You on Twitch?
I do this.
Yes.
What game are you good at?
A lot.
Fortnite.
I'm okay at Toucan.
Better at Madden.
I like adventure games.
I'm a little bit of a nerd.
Like, y'all couldn't tell.
Madden.
And I Twitch stream.
So, yeah.
I got to do what I got to do.
Anywho. Okay, yeah. I got to do what I got to do. Anywho.
Okay, moving along.
Brandon Ayuk reportedly requested a trade from the 49ers
after an unsuccessful attempt to reach an extension.
Sources say teams have reached out and spoken to the 49ers
but have been told that they have no intention of trading him.
But after hearing that,
what do you guys think should happen to Brandon Ayoub
that was OJ man yeah that was OJ nigga right there man um I don't know you know to be totally
honest with you I have not really dived in the football I know that mini camp or training camp
whatever type of camp to start in, not mandatory camp.
I've pretty much been focused on basketball,
what boxers have been going on in summer league.
But I know Iuke was an important piece to the 49ers.
OJ loved him.
That was his guy.
So for him even asking for a trade.
You know, football is different from basketball.
You can ask for a trade, but they ain't giving it to you.
What's the nigga named?
Deebo?
Samuel?
Yeah, Samuel.
He wanted to get out of there last year.
He ain't go a damn place.
Football will ignore you when you ask for a trade.
Basketball is different.
You start whining and complaining.
Niggas will try and get you out of there.
Football will be like, man, shut up.
Whatever.
I'll see you in your eye,
but I'll see you the end of August
because what happens
is once you stop
showing up to certain shit,
that fucks with your money.
You start missing
certain camps,
then you start missing games,
then you start missing
out on your money.
So therefore,
they can't throw
the tantrums
that basketball players
can throw
and still receive
their money.
Basketball players throw tantrums and even though they miss out on money,
they make so much money that it may not hurt them missing the first two weeks
of training camp or maybe even the start of the season.
Niggas is making two, three times, four times maybe what football players
is making.
So it doesn't hurt as bad for a basketball player.
Football players, it counts.
You got to realize there's also 82 games in the basketball season.
If you're getting paid per game and it's only 17 games
or maybe going up to 18 games eventually,
every check pretty much counts.
So I hope they work it out because that was O.J. Mann,
and you know the 40-time is his O.J. team,
and he fucked with you, my nigga.
So hopefully he'll work it out.
But to be honest with you,
I haven't really put that much time or effort or energy into it.
I think as him and his team begin to meet
and they see that they can't come to terms,
then he figured out, you know what, I'm not going to go to this camp
even though it's mandatory and try to force their hand.
But, you know, 49ers are not budging on what they said.
And when I think about it, if he was to go to another team,
there's only, to me, a few teams that he would win the way he could
with the 49ers.
I don't see him.
He could go to New England, but it doesn't look like they'll win there.
He may go to stat team and have a great chance to play with Mike Tomlin
and alongside of George Pickens.
That would be great for him as a wide out.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
Okay.
The absolutely is hilarious.
Okay.
And then last topic before we close.
So Joe Bryant, Kobe Bryant's dad, was pronounced dead at 69 years old.
Vanessa Bryant posted, sending our condolences upon hearing the news of my father-in-law's passing. closed so joe bryant kobe bryant's dad was pronounced dead at 69 years old vanessa bryant
posted sending our condolences upon hearing the news of my father-in-law's passing we hope things
would have been different although the times we spent together were few he was always sweet and
nice to be around kobe loved him very much our prayers go out to family so our condolences go
out to his family as well but what was you guys's thoughts on the news oh man i i really don't know what to say to this
because i uh last time i i heard i know that they wasn't really getting along so i don't even really
have much to say about this but prayers up to to the family of the bryants you know i know he
leaves behind a wife and and a family that cares about him dearly,
but this is why you got to love people while they're there.
You got to support people while they're there and all of that type of stuff.
There's not much I want to say about this because I know there's a lot of feelings going on,
especially when people die and you're not on good terms
and you start thinking about the things you should have done,
the things you should have done, the things you should
have said, the things you should have let go of, all of that seems to be present.
You can just hear it even when she's making this statement.
Yeah, man.
Just don't wait till people pass away to try to unite.
If you can mend something up, mend it up.
I mean, I don't think she had the best relationship with Kobe's parents ever.
But RP Jellybean, you know, it's just sad.
I don't know too much about Kobe Bryant's dad,
but he birthed a great son and a great athlete.
And it's just sad that everybody wasn't on the same page.
That's what it's sad about.
Even hearing about like a couple months ago,
them even trying to trade in Kobe Bryant's championship ring.
And it's a fucked up situation.
All I can say is if you can mend a relationship,
mend it because at the end of the day,
whether Vanessa gets along with Kobe's mother or Kobe's father, R.I.P.,
those are still their grandkids.
And they will probably want to love, I mean,
the mother now would probably still want to see her grandkids,
especially that her son is gone.
Okay.
Well, that is all the time that we have for today.
Thanks for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
