And y'all today in studio, we got a special.
guest. He's undefeated and also won a silver medal in lightweight boxing at the Tokyo
2020 Olympics. He just recently defeated Jermaine Ortiz on a 12th round TKO, introducing Kishon
Davis, aka the businessman. Kishan was good. What's up, bro? What's up,
weird, man? Killer was going on, man.
Shit, I'm good, man. How you doing? How was your weekend, man?
Man, you still on vacation from Valentine's?
Huh?
Mace, you don't want
talking about you
have to do
the Valentine's
getaway weekends.
That's what you have to do.
That's what you have to do.
That's what you have to do, man.
I ain't knocking.
I'm actually supporting it.
Would you,
yo,
let me get some tips.
What did you do for Valentine's Day
since the whole weekend?
Great question.
I can't tell you all
everything.
Gishon, what's up, man?
How was your Valentine?
Pause, man.
Yeah, it was cool, man.
I was in L.A. for All-Star.
So, it was cool.
That's what's up, man.
That's what's up.
Well, look, man, look,
first of all, congratulations on your last fight, man.
We see what you out here doing.
I'm a super, super big, big fan of what you doing.
Your last fight you just had.
Yeah, yeah, no problem.
That last fight against Jermaine,
it was, it was, you was, you was,
beating his ass and I'm like is he going to finish the deal you ended up finishing the deal did he
surprised you because you know he's experienced fighter um he's no slouts whatsoever did he surprise you at all
or the fight went according to how you thought it was going to go um he didn't surprise me really at all
he didn't surprise me at all the only thing that did surprise me was he could punch and i was not
really trying to get hit for real because you know me being out for this year lay on
You know, I don't, you know, everything still felt new in there.
I feel like I was rushing a lot of things.
So I just made sure I wasn't rushing my defense.
And he had some power.
So I just stayed patient, really.
Now, that's what's up.
You switching trainers got a lot of attention.
Do you think that got blown out of proportion?
Maybe because the way you said it or you just switching trainers from Beaumac.
And I see you cleared it up too just for our order.
audience. How did that go? Because people made a real big deal out of it.
I mean, shoot, honestly, man, them guys, like, helped me a lot, like, for real in this
sport, like kicking my career off and getting me to my world title, you know what I'm saying?
But also, them guys showed me something different when they took on the challenge of fighting
Canelo, you know, his whole team is from Omaha, you know what I'm saying?
And then when they won, they was just like, man, oh my mom.
My heart team is the best team is the best team.
I was just like, damn, I would love that for myself and my home team.
You know what I'm saying?
And I got coaches that's in Norfolk.
You know, I got coaches that just that love the sport of boxing, maybe even more than me.
You know what I'm saying?
And for me, clicking with Bo MacDem in the first place, I just felt like I needed a team that's superior.
So they've been there before somewhere I haven't gotten yet, you know what I'm saying?
So they can direct me to.
where I got to.
So at a certain point, man,
just like, all right, cool.
I learned a lot from these guys,
and I also got inspired by these guys
by them doing it together
because they wasn't the best team
coming into the sport.
They grew into that.
So I seen that.
I was like, man, I want to do that for my team.
You know what I'm saying?
And shit.
I kicked the tune just like that.
But also,
I'm going to take some accountability
on how I came out to the public
about me switching teams.
Because when I did say that in the public,
I wasn't, for real, I wasn't even basing on
Boemack and them.
I got Jimmy Love for Boat Back in them.
Terrence Crawford and all them.
So I wasn't really basing it off of Terrence,
I mean,
Boemack in them.
But it did,
I guess it came off that way
and the media just ate it up that way.
You know what I'm saying?
And, you know,
I had conversations with them guys
about it and stuff like that.
So we hash things out.
We move forward past it.
But definitely my fault of why that narrative
was, you know,
came out that way.
You know what I'm saying?
Just a, just an honest,
mistake really what do you think like your um when you think of bo-mac and and terence crawford it did
look kind of weird because when we saw you like training on on camera it looked like terranston
was there anyway so how what was the real the real change are you are you training with
chakur at this point say that what's your question what you mean are you training with chakur at
this point because it looked like y'all was in the same place training oh yeah for this camp me and
Because we have the same car, you know what I'm saying?
So me and Shakur made it our business to make sure we train with each other so we can push each other for sure.
But he had, Shakur had his camp and I had my camp.
But the thing with me and Shakur is his coaches, we've been knowing for like years since we was kids.
My coach has been knowing Shakur since we was kids, you know what I'm saying?
So us training together was really nothing.
Like that gym was like legitimately like family, everybody in there just trying to get to one goal.
and that's just the be great January 31st.
And, you know, that's exactly what happened.
How do you really...
And, Cam, I want to ask this question.
I'm not sure if this is your question.
But how do you not fight somebody that's that close in wait?
That is becoming an issue, like, for real.
For everybody's watching, for all of the boxing friends,
it's becoming a real issue because you guys are so close in weight.
It would be different positive.
One of you was like, you know,
like middle, middleweight and another person was lightweight, but you're so, you guys are
pretty much in the same division.
Right.
It's a, bro, it's a personal level, bro.
You know, you got personal, you got business.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
So I just know Shikour's so much on a personal level to where it's like, I can't fight
this dude, you know what I'm saying?
You would never fight Cam in front of millions of people.
Cam fought me in front of millions of people.
Where is that?
Yeah, you're talking about difference.
Yeah, we fought each other.
For no money.
Yeah.
Yeah, I don't know.
What you're talking about.
That's why for our brain, we don't understand that.
It's like we both, me and Kim didn't speak for 20 years because we both, like, we're both like the same type of person.
I'm just further down the road like from like the, you know, like polished pause, but we've got the same mindset.
So when I see you guys, I'm thinking like, how do you?
how do you not fight in the same class?
That's like,
you can't be undefeated.
You can't be undisputed if y'all don't fight.
I'm not trying to pay for four belts anyways.
Oh, I get it, okay.
Who wants to pay for a trophy that they went for?
I just thought it was crazy because you guys,
and I'm not even pushing the smoke,
but realistically, I thought it was crazy,
like, before you fought that, he was like,
yo, Kishon prayed with me.
I called kill as soon as that happened.
And I said, Killa, me and you ain't even pray.
How they beat us to praying?
Me and Killa ain't pray.
What do you say, Killa?
He definitely called and say me that.
He definitely said, thinking his praying together.
This is crazy.
Ain't you Christian?
Yeah, for sure.
I just got baptized.
My son got dedicated.
And he's Christian, too?
Yeah, for sure.
Oh, that's good.
It's good.
No, that's...
Shout out to SchuCard.
We got to ask the right questions, though, Shakur.
You know it's all love up here.
Yeah, absolutely.
But two parts of that question, Mace,
I wasn't going to bring that up just yet.
But, Ben, first thing I want to ask you is this,
is that you just talked about the belts.
And I just arguing with my man Sun City.
Shout to Cint City.
He's one of your biggest fans as well.
So we were talking about how Chacore got stripped of his
belts. And I was saying, what you just said, if niggas know who the nigger is, I don't really
need the belts. I remember Floyd used to say, belts don't do nothing but collect dust.
So if once to me, I don't know if you're there yet, I know you're on the way. In the boxing
world, you're there, I'm just talking about cultural-wise. And, you know, it takes a while for,
you know, we always talk about how, yo, when Floyd used to fight a Mike Tyson used to fight
bitches that didn't even know
nothing about who they were fighting
and be like, we got to be there.
Now, we got to go.
That nigga Floyd fighting.
Tank was on his way there as well.
Also, one of them where the younger girls
would be like, oh, Tank is fighting.
Javonthe's fighting.
They don't know who the fuck he's fighting.
So I'm talking about culturally.
How does that work?
Because my man, Sin was arguing with me
and I'm like, yo, boy, I'm not paying that money
for the belt.
Niggas know who the nigga is.
Sin was arguing with me to his point.
He's saying, nah, just look good when you walk to the belt
to the ring with two, three belts.
Remember Mike Tyson.
I say, yo, man, I don't cost no hundreds of thousand.
Why don't you want to pay that fee?
Sorry, as long ago, I'll just give me some context to the question.
Why don't you want to pay that fee?
And what does it mean to you not having a belt,
even if you won the belt for not paying my fee?
I mean, it's really just come down to the money, man.
It's not like niggas don't got it.
But it's just like principal.
To me, it's principle.
You know what I'm saying?
And I'm not going to sit here and say belts don't matter.
Because they do to a certain extent.
You know, once, like you're saying, when you get to a certain point in your career,
you don't need a title behind you for people to come sit their ass in that seat.
At the end of the day, 90% of boxing fans are casuals.
They're people that they're not into boxing.
They're into this fighter.
So if they know this fighter, they're going to come watch this fighter.
You know what I'm saying?
Just like, to your point with the Floyds and the Mike Tyson,
and me being on the way
I feel like every time that I fight
you watch me one time
you're gonna want to watch me again
like I just got that
that inadote I like to say
you know what I'm saying
so belts matter to a certain extent
but it's like once you become that superstar
bro it's what you're paying for a belt for
what you're throwing your money down the drain for
it's almost like buying the chain
like what you're doing that for
it looks good
so what like you know what I mean
so I'm not trying shit on you know the WBA
WBC
IBF or WBO
Not shitting on y'all at all
But to a certain extent
Um
Felt's just don't matter
To a certain extent
You don't believe you should why a chain
That was crazy
He said it's like wearing a chain
Yeah but murder
You gotta feel this
This is what I was trying to explain right
Yeah
To me my opinion
He should still be wearing a chain
But some niggas don't need to chain
You went the last time you see
Jay Z with a chain on
That's your point
I'm going to capitalize on your point, though.
Mishore.
Like Mishikour had a conversation before he got stripped of his belts.
And he like Keishon, we think I should do.
I said, bro, stay at 140.
You look great at 140, bro.
You got a belt at 140.
And you got the ring magazine belt that's free at 140.
Like, it's common sense.
You know what I'm saying?
But also to his point, it's like, he liked Kishon.
Like, at the end of the day, he like, Kishon.
I don't really, you know, belts is cool to me.
Like, I love to have a world champion.
But, you know, it would mean more for me to have it, you know,
for me to get a belt at 140.
You know what I'm saying?
We start talking about fights that I can have,
you know what I'm saying, to get a belt, you know what I'm saying?
Or go to 147, you know what I'm saying?
So, yeah, you're right.
Right now I do need be wearing that chain.
I do need that strap around my waist, you know what I'm saying?
But at the end of the day,
God willing, they keep put me on these cards
and I keep doing what I'm doing, a belt or not.
I'm putting ass in those seats.
So still to a certain extent, I might not need to wear a chain.
No, absolutely.
I told, listen, I argue for you.
And for fucking Chacon.
This is watching, you know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah.
No, I'm just talking about sin because he watching.
Told you, nigga.
This is what I'm trying to explain me.
I'm not giving up my chicken for the fucking, for the belt.
Because you know why?
I told the, nigga, you act like it's a fed raid.
They're going to come to their house and take the belts.
This is still in the house.
They could be like, listen, we could go to YouTube and watch the father.
I'll argue with this nigga for about an hour and a half, so part me on that.
Second part of the question that Mace just talked about you and Shakur,
and you just said y'all wouldn't fight each other.
But let me ask you this.
Do you think your skill level is up to par with his skill level?
I think I'm the best in boxing.
Come on, Kishar, man.
I fuck with you, Kishan.
That skill level is up to Shakur's skill.
Come on, man.
Come on, man.
You do the best in boxing?
He did that ass.
He didn't blink, killer.
He didn't blink.
He didn't.
I like that.
I like that.
It's just the last person
told you that Kelly went out.
Look, man, who out here?
But that's not Kishan.
Let's talk about track history.
Like, my man's my manager
always about track history.
It's about track history.
My last three opponents been stopped
by me, but they've never been stopped before.
They never even hit the ground.
Kishan stopped him.
My last three opponents,
I was telling y'all, I was going to stop these guys
and I literally went out there and stopped these guys.
You understand what I'm saying?
I'm 14, though, with 10 knockouts,
saying I'm kind of lit out here.
I'm doing my thing.
You know what I'm saying?
Like I'm being compared with these undisputed champions.
I'm being compared with these champions.
I'm being compared with these superior fighters.
I'm not being compared with the lower fighters.
I'm only 14, though.
Like, the people we talk about right now,
I've got 10 plus fights more than me.
The people we talk about right now
went pro at 2016.
I went pro in 2021.
Like, I skipped the line.
I surpassed a lot of people.
And thank God that I'm blessed enough
that I got the skill and ability to be here right now.
You know what I'm saying?
Like I'm hot right now.
And I'm hot for a real reason, bro.
So, yes, I'm the best in boxing.
And I'm going to continue to keep showing you all that for sure.
No, I like the fact that you're talking about yourself in third person.
I used to do that, right?
When you talk about yourself and third person, you're really out of your brain right now.
But I would go as far as saying, realistically, there's only two.
fights that can make you him.
And these two fights are the only two fights that can make you him.
You could beat up a lot of people, Kishon, but it's going to bore down to these two fights.
And I want to be on a record about this.
It's going to bore down to Shakur and it's going to ball down to Giovante.
I don't think it's humanly possible to really stand, you know, and speaking third person,
consistently without those two fights.
Those are the two fights that matter to the, to the, to the, to the,
casuals, right? I'm representing the casuals. What do you think?
I think if I go in here and knock people out, like I'm saying, I'm doing, I'm going to be, I'm
going to get there. I mean, it's all God's time and God got a real plan for me in this sport,
you know, so I can't go off a man's or a woman's judgment. I just can't. God is, you know,
he has the ultimate answer. So each fight is going to be strategic, his planning, you know what
saying, just like Jermaine Ortiz, like, this, Jermaine Ortiz can really fight. And I was out for
entire year and I took on this fight.
You know what I'm saying?
So, and I stopped them.
You know what I'm saying?
So, man, put anybody in front of me like, I'm stopping them.
Can't nobody beat me?
And to your point, if you want to talk about fighters, I've been calling out Devin Haney
lately and they've been going crazy on the media, you know what I'm saying?
No, I really like that idea.
I feel like when I stop Devin Haney, that's what's going to make me him.
That's what's going to give me the props of, I'm just keeping it a stack with you.
Go ahead.
Devin Haney will not mean as much as a win over those other two names.
I don't want to keep saying their names because we're not focused on him.
We're not stopping him, though.
Yeah, but if you stop him.
That's a different story.
Yeah, Ryan almost stopped him.
Almost.
But you'll be fighting him after somebody damaged him.
That's different.
Didn't he just have one of his greatest performances last fight?
I know, but there's some damage there.
We saw Roy Jones.
we saw the best of them.
After their damage is a different fighter.
You know this.
Come on.
This is boxing.
Okay, let's talk about John.
We're talking about the other dude.
The two.
Okay, let's talk about the other dude.
Yes.
Let's talk about the other dude.
Because you know I'm not fighting in Shricua.
Let's talk about the other dude.
All right.
He don't want to fight me, bro.
Bro, what's about tall as that damn desk right there?
All right.
Talk to the camera because he's going to be watching this.
What would you say them?
Bro, you are all right?
I was cool with you, like, say it like a mental health joke about me.
so I don't really respect you for real
but you can fight
bro you can fight but
you know since I was 16
and you was like 20 something when we sparred
you already knew what type time I was on
and now that you know
I'm in his position and I'm all growing
up now
if you ever
would give me a chance bro
to fight you
just be ready bro
because I'm not one of those
people you've been picking on bullying that you know you
could beat you know
what I'm saying.
So if you ever do want to fight me, which I think you're not going to fight me because
you know, just be ready, bro.
I'm not playing with you.
And you didn't stop.
You know what happened last time he sparked?
You didn't stop, bro.
What happened last time you all sparred?
She asked him.
You know.
What happened?
Look, you and our Dula Mason was a thing one time.
Y'all was going back and forth.
Why did that kind of die down?
I ain't go a lot like, you know, back then in June, like, I was out of it, you know what
saying?
So I definitely, I always say this, I pushed up on, you know, I pushed up on do a little crazy.
You know what I'm saying?
I kind of like, it's boxing, it's sport, you know what I'm saying?
But I could have did it in another tone, you know what I'm saying, just in another tone.
So I'm going to put that out there, you know what I'm saying?
I take accountability for that.
But why did it die down?
I feel like, excuse me.
I feel like the people, the fans see that.
He's still young.
And the fans see that he's just not at that level yet.
And it's like if I fight him now, it's like me kind of like picking on a little kid.
Now, I can fight him now.
You know he's signed under the same management.
You feel like fighting Abdullah Mason is fighting a kid?
I would stop a dula, bro.
How many times do you get hit, bro?
You think you're going to keep taking these, my nigga?
I will stop a dula, bro.
I will stop a dula, bro.
Facts.
and I don't even like I want him to keep being successful
I want him to keep doing what he's doing
he's a hell of a fighter you know what I'm saying
all the umbrellas behind him he'd take care of family
you know what I mean so I wouldn't want to fight him right now
honestly killer what about Richard Hitchison
yeah Richard Hitchison
y'all was going back and forth too
that was your question though killer how you feel about my
my answer to you know the young boy
Abdullah Mason
yes sir I told listen I'm on a record
I told listen even after your last fight right
that you just had.
I tell niggas that you,
everything you're saying,
I've said already,
that you closed the show.
To me,
that matters.
And Matt,
don't get me wrong,
you can put on a great box
and exhibition.
A lot of people look at Floyd,
right?
I hate to go back to Floyd.
We just from a lot of Floyd ever.
We are a little older.
Floyd was knocking niggas out.
He had over a 50% knockout right.
Hey, boy, yeah.
Until he fought Oscar,
yeah,
before he told you for Oscar,
Delaware,
and then he smartened up,
And then they got to the point where he said,
I'm just going boxing niggins to death instead of having brawls.
Before he was in brawls and knocking niggas out.
I think you closed the show, and I think that matters.
When you're a boxing fan, you always want to leave,
have a great boxing exhibition.
When you're a casual, you come to see somebody getting knocked out.
And I tell niggas, this nigger closes the show.
We was watching a fight with, I was watching a fight,
their last fight with some niggas that never seen you fight.
And they said, this niggas still fighting
like he got a nickel bag operation
going on in Virginia.
This is what they said.
They said, this is how he fucking, this is what they said.
They said it looked like he still got it.
This is how he coming out.
They said, this niggers, wow.
And I said, he closes.
So to me, that matters.
As far as you stopping, I see him get hit.
Mace like him because his last name is Mason.
I think, you know, that's a fact, murder.
You was pumping.
You get nice, man.
Man, the kid is nice.
He's young, but he's nice.
He's nice, killer?
I see a nigga put him on his ass, Martin.
I'm just saying.
He came back and won.
I actually appreciate that.
You know what I think, killer.
I don't think we know boxers until they get woozy, right?
You don't know who people will come until they've been set on the floor.
Everybody's tough while they're the aggressor.
We know this.
We've seen it.
I remember me and you as wife.
watching Terrence Crawford and Aerospins.
That was the first thing I said,
because I love Aerospins, but I say,
you know what my real concern is before the fight even started?
We're chilling at Killer House.
I say, yo, killer, we never seen this nigga hit before.
And that's my issue with all of the fighters that we talk about.
I never seen them dropped, or I never seen them, you know,
have to take a stand in Nate for us to know, okay,
what does he have really?
pause in his heart.
If it gets to that point, who does he become?
Niggas start moving around, jumping around, become different people.
I need to see that.
I need to see that.
There's three.
Like, even with Devin Haney, even though Devin Haney got, you know, like, beat up a lot
with Ryan Garcia, I think it says a lot about him how he's been able to come back.
Everybody else we don't know this about.
Most niggas take off.
You don't see them for forever.
And then you'd be wondering where did this nigger go?
We thought he was like that.
I thought he was a bull.
I thought this nigger, Paul's was a workhorse.
Pause, what happened?
So I'm looking forward to Errol Smith's fighting.
But back to you, killer.
No, I totally agree with you.
But if niggins ain't put in that predicament, they just not putting that predicament.
I'm sorry.
That's a fact.
You know, even Floyd got put in it in the dream room for a second.
And then he came back.
That's what I'm talking about.
Nigger, Shane Clock Floyd.
And then after that, it was all downhill.
Like, I'm not going to play with you, nigga.
You're going home.
I like that.
I like that.
You know, I'm from Jacksonville.
Killer, I like a good fight.
I like niggies to get hit and say, oh, word, and take their jacket off.
Oh, word, that's what we're doing?
I like that.
I'm saying you may have seen Floyd get hit twice like that.
Madonna caught the nigger and, but he never even went down.
I mean, he's in trouble in second round against shame.
I'm not going to lie, but he ain't go there.
Anyway, Mota, I'm not disagreeing with you.
I think that you're actually right.
But you can't fault a nigger neither for not being in that predicament.
Neither.
That's what I'm saying.
Yeah, you're right.
I get what you're saying.
We ain't going.
Because when we trust the Crawford spent fight,
neither one of them we were saying been in trouble.
like that.
So,
but I was telling you,
Bud did with,
Homeboy,
the,
um, Spanish dude.
Gambaa.
Gianboa,
but I'm not,
I'm not jacking,
like,
in trouble,
trouble.
I'm talking about,
you know when
niggas is in trouble,
trouble,
like shit,
I ain't gonna hold you.
Man,
that shit can hold it.
That shit get really there,
man.
That shit get really there.
That's trouble,
and I ain't going,
like,
sit here,
just like,
talk about times
where I know
where Bud got
in that position,
What I can't say is leading up to the Earl Spence and Bud,
I do feel like Bud was more battle tested than Earl, for sure, for sure.
You know what I'm saying?
That's what I'm saying.
Man, it don't got to, for a nigga to get knocked down for you to really know a nigga
a hard at, a nigga can really get.
Or just clop.
You get thumb in the eye and a nigga's still rushing you.
You can't even see your eye hurting.
Like, it can be small stuff like that.
You can get hit with a good body shot and it hurt.
You know what I'm saying?
You ain't go down.
Some niggas might get the hold in.
Some of you might really get the running.
and something, he might really try to fight it out.
Yeah, like when Giovante, it seemed like he broke his hand or something.
He was still fighting.
That's what I'm talking about.
You get in trouble.
He had to fight, bro.
What he's going to do, call quits, take a knee?
What he's going to do?
No, I'm saying.
He still fought.
He had to fight.
He had to fight.
He had to fight.
You know what I'm saying?
It's no time outside of this shit.
Yeah, I like that.
Like, I fought, like, to your point,
when I went to Nicaragua fighting him to get,
on the Pan American team before the
Pan American Games. The very
first day of the tournament, I
fractured my finger and I told
that they gave us small hand wraps. This is the
experience I'd be talking about that coming in the pros.
They gave us real small hair wraps.
And I'm like, coach, I'm going to break my hand. I'm going to hurt my
hand. Like, man, we got
fighting them. I said, we can't fight in our own
wraps? He said, no, these are tournament wraps.
Like, wow, okay, for the very
first day, I hurt my hand. I got
four more fights in that
tournament with a fractured finger.
I could just pull out.
I couldn't be like, man, time out.
I can't sue them.
Like, I had to fight through that shit.
You know what I'm saying?
So to your point, it's like, so what?
So what, nigga?
That's what we go through.
That's what, that's, that's the sport.
That's the gladiator shit we'd be talking about.
Would you fight, um, Roach?
I want to fight Devin Haiti, bro.
Okay.
I'll fight anybody to your point, though.
I'll fight anybody, bro, that really makes sense.
You know what I'm saying?
And I'll fight Africa.
I'll fight Africa.
But I want to fight Devin Haiti, bro.
I really want to fight him.
Yeah, and that's some great, you know,
that's really some great insight,
Kishar, because, like you said,
you guys are in there.
You guys are fighting through pain,
through ever broken hands, whatever.
Like, Ramar Rowe broke his hand last fight.
We still finished the fight.
I'm talking about to the casual,
you know, if we don't see him to go down,
the bloody anything else,
so that's great insight that you gave to us as well,
just knowing what you guys go through,
even during a fight
or sometimes even before the fight
that you have injuries
that you still fight with
as well.
Speaking of Africa,
y'all go back and forth.
Why don't you want that fight
immediately?
Because it seems like it's a lot of talking.
Man, first thing I want to say
is, man, April 4th,
me and my brothers
is throwing a fight
under our own promotions.
DB3 promotions, you know,
three black men
that's coming together.
We throw in a fight in the arena
8,300 seats in that jump
We're going to fill it up, pack it out
You know, it's something big in the sport
I feel like that the sport need to get behind
It's something that, you know,
fighters don't do until they retire
And we're stepping out on faith
Because we know what we can do
How we fighting.
It's going to be in Virginia
It's going to be North of Virginia
Yes, sir, at the ODU Tritware Arena
April 4th
My big brother Kelvin Davis
Headlighting
And my younger brother Keon's co-maider
And the city is
definitely behind it, man. So I just want the box of the world to really know what's going on
out here. We got a nonprofit, you know, December 22nd. We gave out free food. We gave out free clothes.
We gave out free haircuts, free hairstyles and nails got their nails done. Bounce House, the kids
bouncing house. Dancers, we had youth dancers. We had the youth band in that joint. Like everything free,
everything was so fun, organic. And that was our DB3 nonprofit for this fight at the MSG that I fought at.
passenger bus for free, all you got to do is sign up and you get a free trip to New York.
Whether you got a ticket to the fight or whether you just want to go out there in Manhattan, enjoy the vibes,
catch a fight on TV somewhere, just go.
It was for free, and that was our DB3 nonprofit.
You know what I'm saying?
So I just want the boxing world to really know, like, the Davis brothers' DB3 promotions,
our nonprofit is redoing things differently, man.
And I'm hoping that these fighters can, like, pick up on what we're doing.
because at the end of the day,
this is what benefits us and our
community as far as individual
fighters, you know what I'm saying?
So shout out of DB3 promotions, April 4th,
we're throwing a fight, man.
And also, DB3 nonprofit, man,
we're doing things differently, for sure.
To your point, Killer,
I will fight Africa.
I really will fight him.
Why not right now?
That shit is just, you know how boxing gets
sometimes. It's super political.
And if you want me to be honest,
honest again, I could have fought him January 31st,
but why I didn't fight him, it wasn't my fault.
Was it his?
You got to ask Africa.
Oh, he, killer, he got a lot of that.
You got to go ask them.
We're going to have to get an investigation
on it is what it is.
You know, because I'm going to do my research.
You got to think about it.
I fought in New York.
And I wasn't, like, you know, Shushu.
For me, he had a world title fight, and Shakur was a world title fight.
Africa is a world champion.
So why he didn't fight on his car in New York as a world champion, you got to ask Africa.
He didn't want, we asking you, you're the one we're interviewing.
Did he want to fight or not?
I was from Brooklyn, so I don't think he would be scared to fight.
Look, look, I was on that card.
I was on that car.
So he could have been on the card.
That's what I told Jake.
Like I said, Jay, I will fight anybody
Just make sure I fight that day
And he made sure I fought it
It was two opponents that we was going back and forth with
It was Africa and it was Jermaine
But Jermaine was
If Africa fell through
Africa fell through
I don't know why Africa fell through
I don't know why
You know, Richardson
You got to call up to the show
I don't like this
I don't like the way
He's over here saying this
You got to call up to the show tomorrow,
ASAP.
You can't let this get,
get this narrative out there
that you was duck and smoke.
But you got to realize this too, though.
Like, you know, me and Africa go way back, bro.
Like, we really go way back.
And on a personal level,
because we really know each other,
I always seen straight through Africa.
I always seen straight through him.
And you got to realize we go off track history, right?
Africa used to be around me and Shakur back then.
Like facts, he used to drive down,
out Virginia when we was at,
he used to be around us, train around us, and all that.
He around my younger brother.
As everybody went pro,
y'all started to see him,
started hanging around Javante.
So where was this switch up?
I don't know why he went to...
What's wrong with him hanging with Javonte?
Y'all are all boxers.
Am I missing the coach?
Yeah, you kind of, it's like it went over your head a little bit.
You understand what I'm saying?
Kill out, you need a little more explanation.
Nah, I get it.
Myrtle this clicks, man.
Certain niggas fuck with certain niggas and certain niggas don't fuck with certain nits.
No, I get that, but they ain't fighting them.
That's the part I don't understand.
If you don't fool with them, then the fight should be easy to make happen
because we don't fool with them niggis.
You got to think about it too, though, again.
It's like, bro, you hang in with us every day,
and then you stop hanging with us to go hang in with some other niggas.
that we don't even partake in.
What the fuck is you doing?
Like, what type of shit is you all?
So then I mean you should fight him.
I told you, I will fight this, bro.
I will fight Africa, bro.
Right, killer.
If you saw, if you saw some idea with you
downing with these other niggas.
I would have,
I would, fuck, fuck Africa.
I would rather fight tank.
What are you talking about?
I'm knocking him out.
I think what he said, what he said,
what he said is before we even get to tent.
What he's saying is about Africa,
is that he was supposed to fight one.
He said why he ain't got to have to fight, basically.
I get that.
I get that, killer.
I get that.
I get all of that.
I'm telling you what I see with my glasses, man.
What you see?
Niggas is fighting a lot of niggas that they don't have to fight.
And the niggas, they should fight.
It's like it's two, three fights away.
I wish we can bring back Don King where he got all of them niggas in MSG,
where it was Trinidad and all these other niggas
and they had a tournament with Bernard Hopkins.
And we got to find out who's who.
It's a tournament, nigga.
It's y'all six niggas.
You know everybody's talking about.
We got Tio out the way.
There's Devin Haney.
There's DB.
Right?
Come on now.
For what I understand.
There's Chicago.
There's, there's, there's, um,
Jamarthe, and that's it.
Like, that's all we want to see in Richardson.
Figure this out.
Figure this out.
What's his name?
Alishik.
Yeah.
I can't call a nigga your excellency, man.
I can't.
I just can't do it.
How much money got to give you to call him your excellency?
You got to give me son.
I ain't got to us.
And I can't do it on TV.
I thought about that every time I heard people.
would say, yo, your excellency, I said,
bear how much money you got
to pay?
Murder, you got a price for
your, for your excellency, too,
niggins.
I bet it's a price.
You're going to see this,
a man.
A niggia go and tech bia
to you, nigga.
Yeah, nigger.
100 million?
100 million?
100 million.
I have his arm around.
Killer,
talk about your ex.
I don't know how I got him this
Hey yo listen
I ain't gonna let that nigga rage bait me
Kishah let me ask you this
because people keep bringing up
Andy Cruz because you lost them in the
amateurs.
Did you lose anybody else in the amateurs
because that's the only name
they keep bringing up
when it comes to that?
In an international level
you know, in the international level
yes. I probably got
I probably got outside of him
I think I lost to like two
Two other fighters, two other fighters probably.
You don't know their names?
Nah, bro.
These guys are like from Uzbekistan and some other stands.
I don't know, bro.
I can't even pronounce the name.
Yeah, because you know when you beat niggas and they go pro,
people will be looking for them like,
yo, I beat that nigga.
Yeah, but I don't.
No, that's why they keep bringing up Andy Cruz.
That's what I'm saying.
That's why I was like, they don't bring up nobody else.
They only bring up him.
So that's why I was even wondering
Did you ever even lose anybody else
Besides him
What about the fight with Mario Barrios
And Ryan Garcia?
What do you think about that?
I think it's a
It's a close fight
But if you just
This is the only thing I can think about
You only is good at your last performance
So like I look at Mario Barrio's last performance
You know what I'm saying
And it wasn't his best
You know what I'm saying
So maybe he's gonna come back stronger
Than what he did last time
but I just feel like Mario Barrios, he has like a lot of mileage on his career,
and I still feel like Ryan Garcia has a lot more to put out, you know what I'm saying?
And if Ryan Garcia was focused in this camp and he was really taking this serious,
I think Ryan Garcia should win a fairly easy fight, honestly.
I know Ryan Garcia personally from the amateurs, we was all kids of amateurs,
Ryan Garcia can, he could fight, he can really fight, you know what I'm saying?
but the focus level as a professional wasn't always there.
So if he's really focused for his first world title fight,
he should win his fight fairly easy.
We know that you and Tio didn't have the best relationship
or whatever the case may be.
Did you feel bad for him after the fight,
see how everybody curved him?
I see him talking about how he's seen him after the fight
and he's in a room by himself.
Did you feel bad about that or you just like,
fuck it.
I don't fuck with him like that anyway.
Now, I got a heart, bro, at the end of the day.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I got a heart.
And hearing stuff like that, I don't know too much about it because I just don't play the media that much.
But hearing, like, I think he was in the hospital by himself too.
Something like that.
Yeah.
So, yeah, like, stuff like that, bro is just like, it just brings you back to reality, bro.
Like, everybody's with you when you win it.
And then when you lose, ain't anybody with you.
Like, that's just, again, there's sport.
It's not even a sport, bro.
It's like the career field.
we're in.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
It's literally just what we go through.
And it really make you think like, damn,
just start making you look around, you know what I'm saying?
Like, damn, who would be the one?
You know what I'm saying?
Thank God that I went through my little circumstance,
and I know the people around me is like solid for sure.
You know what I'm saying?
People around me watch my kids, watch my son.
I'm sorry, low emerson.
My kid.
You know what I'm saying?
But yeah, man, it's sad, bro.
That's super sad, bro.
And I'm going to say one more thing, too,
about Tio. I always gave Tio a little grace, even though he a little weird, but when I,
when I had my circumstance back in June. Yeah, Kea, he shouted you out. You know what I'm saying?
He showed me love, bro. And he was like, man, right now you need to pray for this kid. I know what
mental health looks like and so on and so forth. And I'm like, damn, I know how are people Tio is saying
this? It made me, it made me like, yo, I ain't called the bro out no more. Like, you could be,
bro. If it makes sense, we're going to fight, you know what I'm saying? But, um, because I don't want to do
it to you but um it just like
broke back to reality hearing that bro
really did like wow
this is really what we go through
I got one more question
so I don't know if you have anymore
if you do fight Devin what weight would you want to fight him at
I want to fight him at his weight
I'm gonna go to 147 and fight him at his weight
like it's weird because like I know y'all seen
that video when I was talking to his father
yeah he's saying he told me to stand on my word
yeah he says stand on your word now he's out here
calling out other fighters.
He's literally calling out other fighters at
154. So damn, you ain't
standing your word and I'm making you run out your own weight
class? Like, we'll be talking about here.
Like, you really... I want
to say you scared to me because fighters aren't really scared of
fighters, but you're ducking me?
Like, what is it about? You don't think
fighters are scared of fighters? And I DM
build. Yes, yes. Yes, yes. Yes, but I DM
built after the fight. I told him,
I told him, I said...
Well, send him to send it is what it is.
Wait, what did he say?
What did he say?
Wait, wait, wait, what did you say?
Bill know what I said to him.
I don't play, bro.
One thing about Bill, like, devil is cool.
Well, let me ask you this, Keyshaw.
Bill, Bill, Bill look different.
Let me ask you this, Kishaw.
Would you be willing to come on this show next week, next week, Monday with Bill Hayner?
We could get Bill on the show.
Would you really be having a conversation to see where we're at?
I would be willing, but I would be very surprised if he say he's willing to do that.
I think we can give them a little.
Yeah, you let us say in the lot.
Yeah.
So I would be very surprised me.
We're going to like this day, then.
Say it again?
All right.
I said, we're going to try and like this day.
And murder going to talk to you after this.
But I'm going to call Bill tomorrow.
And we're going to see, well, I don't know if he's still on the West Coast or not.
But hopefully it can be face-to-face.
But if not, we'll definitely get him on Zoom.
But I think he'll show up.
And this way it don't have to be no back and forth.
He said, we'll both have y'all on the show.
And then we can know, he could tell us what was in the DMs.
And we can see who ducking smoking and who not.
So if you're willing to come back on the show.
There's no way I could be talking to, I'll do all these antics.
I don't put up at bro crib out of California.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, God, there's no way Keishaw can be ducking.
Why haven't you respond yet, Bill?
Nothing?
Tio did the same thing, though.
In the defense of that, Tio did all them shenanigans.
and then went out there and then throw a punch.
I got to keep it real.
You're talking about the amazing right now, the business man.
I know that's what.
It's a show.
I got to do my job, you know.
You got to do your job.
Hey.
Hey, you know, shout out to you.
He's cool, dude.
You know what I'm saying?
Even Devin, you know, he's all right.
You know what I'm saying?
But Bill, he's out.
Bill, Bill, get Bill on this show.
For sure.
Get Bill on this show.
So all the antics he be doing them other fighters, I wish he would try with me, bro.
For real.
I'm a lock it in.
I'm locking in.
You definitely got to see it.
Okay, Kishon, where can everybody follow you and stay along to tune into your journey?
Follow me on Instagram, DB3 promotions.
Also follow me on Instagram under my name, Kishon Davis.
I do want to close out one more time saying April 4th, April 4th at the ODU Chartware Arena.
Kelvin Davis headlining, my younger brother, Keion Davis, is the co-man.
main co-main feature.
You know, it's going to be a sell-out event.
It's going to be a sold-out event.
We are three black men.
Congratulations, too.
Thank you.
Yes, congratulations.
Thank you.
And how can people donate to DB3?
The link is actually in my bio under my own.
On my Instagram is Keishon Davis.
My Instagram is Keeshawn Davis, and the link is in my bio.
You know what I'm saying?
If y'all want to share it up here, I can give you all the link too.
Yeah, give us the link.
So, appreciate it.
Okay, thanks for joining us, Kishon.
I appreciate you, of course.
And we'll have to set that up for next week
because people are definitely going to be tuned in to that.
You versus Bill, you got to see it happen.
Okay, we're going to go to break.
When we return, we will get into All-Star weekend.
Don't go anywhere.
All of shit, yeah, we the shit.
All year round is money season.
Every flip counts.
I got rich over this bounce.
Girl, ain't no sales in Gucci.
We ain't looking for a discount.
No.
My man's in City, say.
It's only money.
Welcome back.
It's only money.
Why you like it funny?
Welcome back.
Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day.
So on Thursday, the Rockets will play the Hornets.
Underdog has lamello ball at 20 and a half points.
Do you have them higher lower mace?
I'm going higher.
This is a mellow ball.
What are you talking about?
How are we not going to go higher on the mellow ball?
Pause.
This is tough, man.
because
Le Mello,
I know what I mean wrong,
that,
that niggas the most jolliest
basketball play
I think I ever seen in my life
just skipping around out there
going the passes.
They'd be on point,
but they'd be looking
Harlem Globetrotter and shit
at the same time.
You don't know,
I don't know if he ever plays serious.
Even when he's playing serious,
I don't know if it's serious
because he got that type of game
just skipping around and shit.
I'm going to go lower
because I don't know
where he's cake.
capable love to be honest with you.
He might pull up from half and he got the green light to do shit like that.
I'm going to go low on the field goal percentage.
Okay.
Katie is that 33 and a half points, rebounds, and assist.
You have high, lower camp?
Lower.
You going lower points, rebounds, and assists?
Yeah.
33?
Yeah.
33 and a half, so 34.
I'm going lower.
You're irritating.
He did all that.
Because I'm thinking that he would get over,
but you know what I'm saying?
That's killer's man.
So if he, if he's going on a law, pause,
there ain't no reason for me to go higher.
He knows the negative.
Let's think about it, right?
Let's think about it, right?
That's not a bad number, right?
Let's just, let's just say you get 26.
Let's say you get 27 points.
everybody outside of him is three niggas starting at 6-11 so he don't need to remail
and obviously he don't need to he's not going to pass so we really just count two remails
and probably three or six okay and then jabari smith jriors at 23 and a half points
rebounds and assist you have a higher lower cam lower yeah low he got to step up man
I mean, he's a 6-11.
He's decent.
But come on.
What are they niggas doing in the all season?
You know I'm watching this off-season murder?
It's comminga, man.
You're on the clock starting this summer, nigger.
You better work on your skills.
We know you're athletic.
We know you could get 20 points.
Nigger, this is your time to make Steve Kerr say,
you're going to feel like shit.
You're on the clock.
I want to need with niggas.
What do niggas be doing in the summer these days,
murderers?
is niggas working on their game in the summer of that phase passed out?
Yeah, every summer we see Kaminga, he's working on his handle.
He's going to the basket.
He's doing these fake moves, turning around shooting.
Not fake moves, but you know that same move that every guard does.
I'm like, you know, I need to see him taking a bounce step over three-pointer.
You know, I need to see him doing some different combo moves.
pause, you know, through the leg, twain, cross, twain cross, twine cross, you know, hit the three.
He needs some variety in this game.
And my, to your point, murder, and let's a little argument I tell you was,
I don't want to see what you show me on Instagram because you're not showing me nothing bad on
Instagram.
When we see these young niggas highlights who be 11, 12 days, you don't see none of the shots
they miss.
Yeah.
So I got the best 12-year-old in the world.
Yeah.
the video.
It's going to look like he's the best 12-year-old in the world.
Same thing.
Like, when we watch these niggas work out,
how many times are we seeing anybody in these NBA clip,
NBA clubs, whatever level you want?
You only see day highlights.
You don't see the misses.
Of course, they highlight going real, going to look good.
We're going to see what happened when the game starts.
I'm not going off your social media highlight real.
That goes for any age bracket.
Six to 60.
I'm not jacking it.
Six to 60.
That's a range.
Caminga is that he's in Atlanta.
So he might start balling.
That's a good team to be on right now.
Yeah.
I'm thinking about the point guard.
You know, they moved, they moved Tray Young.
They moved a tall guy to the point.
This might be a great team with Cominga.
If he comes back balling.
Yeah, definitely a lot of upside.
Okay.
make sure you all down on the underdog app and you can make your picks too so let's get into this game over the weekend so team USA stars defeated team world and team USA stripes at the NBA all-star game with anthony edwards winning MVP so I know there was a lot of confusion about how is this going to work how are we going to see multiple games a lot of different views there but mace did you like the format and then did you like how the game actually went after seeing it I got to put some respect I got to put some respect on a new
commissioner's name because I didn't see this. I'm not going to lie. I thought it was horrible.
And I stand there, you know. I still think it's kind of crazy to have the three teams,
but the game that really made it of great interest was the game we all knew that when you put
these guys against the other type of talent that they're supposed to be against with some,
with some dignity on the line. It's going to make people have to play. And we saw that game. I think
Wimby was expecting him to win.
They came really close.
But that shot from Scotty Barnes, it just changed.
It just changed his life.
I think it put him on a new level before we knew he was good, but this put him on one
of them levels.
I think moving forward, he should have even a greater career, even though he was already
balling.
This is one of those shots, like when Jordan hit the baseline.
I'm not saying he's going to be Jordan, but it's definitely an upside for him.
And I got to put some respect on the commissioner's name because at least he figured out something.
You know, you do three things out there.
Two of them work.
Stick with the two next time.
So next year, we should see the same game on replay.
And don't go back to the old system because now you finally got them playing.
I was really glad to see that.
Yeah, I actually liked it.
I thought it was really good because you know why Wemby sent the tone.
when he came out there and you see him really saying I'm here to win I'm not here to play no games
and that made Antman set his tone you know Antman actually talked about this
shout to him for getting MVP as well um he actually talked about after game he said oh when
I see how wimby was taking it it made me want to step my game up and I thought that that was
beautiful um I didn't like the way even though we know that the joker and luca was
was hurt. They only played five minutes in the first game. I didn't like the way of Luca
was approaching the game. He's laughing. He was joking, which is cool. Everybody's there to have
some pun. Nobody wants to get injured, especially him. He actually participated, even though
that we know he's not 100%. But don't get out there. Don't get out there. I like the way Wemby set
the tone. I like the way the Antman stepped up to the plate. I like when LeBron and Kawhi and
Katie got on the court, it wasn't no games when they came to play against the world.
team. We actually seen Kauai
go crazy. I don't know what he had, 30 points in the
quarter. Kauai went crazy.
It was wow.
Whatever you know, Kauai went wow.
And they had pride on the line.
And then with the final, to me,
what the final game was, because, you know,
the world team got eliminated.
The final game between
the, you know, they was calling them the old.
Yeah, well, you know, the old niggas
versus the young niggas.
Yeah.
It looked like the old niggas burnt out in the last game.
And the young niggas still had left.
But they smack them niggas.
They smacked LeBron, KD, and Coah.
Because they had such a great game before that.
But you got to realize you're playing back to back quarters.
So I think that as far as basketball skill-wise,
the league is in great hands.
So how good these young players was playing.
I think that the world losing, that a lot of American players had pride.
But you have to think about this as well, right?
think about them not winning the game
with Luca playing five minutes,
Joker playing five minutes,
Shea Gildreda Alexander not playing at all,
and Yannis not playing at all.
Y'all would have lost that game talking about us as Americans.
That would not have looked good
because they would have been like,
yo, where's these niggas at?
Now we're going to take it to the fact
that Jason Tadam wasn't playing the stuff
Curry wasn't playing either.
But, you know, we're thinking about probably 140 points
that may not have been playing in that games.
But congratulations to America,
I thought it was a real, real good upstep
from what's been going in the last previous years.
I do want to add,
it was cool kind of seeing, like you said,
like the OGs versus the Youngens,
because I think that's even an element
that I didn't think about
when they initially made their rosters
until seeing it.
So I think it was cool for the younger players
to be able to have that one up over them.
But just looking at stats and numbers,
and things overall.
So this game averaged 8.8 million viewers,
which is the largest TV audience since 2011.
So it was up 87% from last year.
And I do want to circle back to this quote from Anthony Edwards,
because we were talking about Yokic and Luka.
He said, no shade towards Luka and Yokic,
but they're two of the best players in the league.
They're not trying to play in the All-Star game.
So do you think that seeing that from Yokish and Luka,
like does that make you not really want to see them participate?
Or do you think that there could be some upside
to potentially next year kind of say?
them come around again because we've seen that the viewers and the numbers are actually there.
Mace, what do you think?
Kim, go first.
I don't think that Luca, I can't say Luca.
I don't think that the Joker primarily as basketball is his love.
They ask Joker not an all-star weekend.
What would you rather win a championship?
For those that don't know, Joker has a stable of horses paws.
at his home country and he races his horses in the off-season.
I mean, ask him, would you rather win a championship in the NBA
or your horses when they're races?
He made the face like, don't be dumb.
My horses pours when they're races.
And it's like, to me, he doesn't seem like he wants to be there when he is there.
So All-Star, I think in his brain, he could be like,
I could be home racing horses.
I don't think his, you know, we've seen him win a championship
and was like, what you mean
the parade in three days?
I got to get back.
They're like,
yo, Joker,
you can't go back right now, bro.
You have to stay for the parade.
He's like, parade.
So to me,
I don't think that
the All-Star means that much to the Joker.
I can't say for Luca,
but you got to realize
this is not a country.
This is the world.
So it may mean more to Wembe
than it does to Luca.
It may mean more to Yannis
than it does
the Joker. It depends on how much you, how much you're going to buy in to representing.
Now, to stats point, when she's saying that the viewer audience was up the most since 2011,
because to me, you had all these countries that don't, not saying don't like America,
but want to beat America. So now you have all these different players from these countries,
so you got Canada tuning in. You got Europe tuning in. You have Australia,
possibly tune.
Different players from different countries.
They're tuning in as well.
And to me, not saying it's the Olympics or anything close to it,
but this is what happens when you're winning for your country.
And I think that's why the viewership was up.
So I don't know if they'll take it serious,
but it's about who's going to buy in to the system.
Because they take it serious during the Olympics,
but this ain't the Olympics.
Yeah, I think these teams are actually better than the Olympics.
So I think they, so I would say that they need to take it more serious.
But I don't like watching a game where Joka and Luca is not taking it serious.
Because if you were to think of Luca on his individual Olympic team and you think of
Joke on his Olympic team, they wouldn't put together better talent than the team that's there.
So I don't know why that these guys are not playing like serious.
Maybe they just fear getting hurt.
But other than that, I don't know.
think they should take it serious. I think you're representing your country as the best player
from your country. It's like a foreign all-star team. So that's really what it is. I think more
pride should be taken in it, no different than if they brought some of the best players
when they go to the Olympics, right? They play everybody else. They're going there on their A game.
They even make new sneakers for it, right? This is a real thing. So I think they're missing some real
branding opportunities as well as basketball by not playing and taking this
serious.
And just to add on to your point, Mace, real quick, is that before I say what I'm going to
say, I'm on your side.
I'm totally agree with you 100%.
I'm just giving the other side of the coin.
Yeah.
You got some niggas who'd be like, yo, I ain't from where this nigga from.
You're going on me on for this show.
While I'm with this, you got to think about this.
Yeah, Vladi Dvok.
And this is for the older audience.
Lottie DeVoc, Jaws and Petrovich with friends.
Yeah, and them too, because their country was going through,
something they didn't even speak anymore to each other.
They didn't get political.
I don't want to be in a political battle,
but something was going on with their country,
to where their country split,
and one person went to one side of the country,
one other person with the other side of country,
pardon me if I'm sounding ignorant and not explaining right.
No, you're right.
You're right.
And because of that, they couldn't even show up together.
Like they had to honor the country they were from.
They didn't even speak to each other publicly no more.
And drives and took it to where he wasn't even picking up the phone like that.
So when I'm saying, it's this, mate, if they like, yo, we want to throw you,
me and you murder, grab some Haitian niggas, niggas from Jamaica and the Bahamas.
Don't want a team against Europe.
I'm just saying, you're like, y'all, I'm not Haitian, though.
Yeah, there's a lot of people playing two-man games, I'm just saying.
A lot of people playing two-man games and all of that.
And three-man games.
I'm just giving, yeah, so I'm just giving the other side of the equation where
niggins mentality may be.
Yeah, and realistically, you got to stand with your country.
I don't care what happens.
If something goes left, you have to stay with your country.
So when it's going on with the country, you got to remember with Georgian them and Vladi,
they didn't even, it wasn't even them fighting in the war.
It was just their country, right?
It wasn't even like your brother did this to me, but that's how they took it.
And I respect that.
But when it comes to these people, the commissioner don't know what smoke that, you know,
countries got with each other. So you're just throwing all of them in there and they're like,
yo, like you said, I really don't want to be here with them. And it becomes like a shame to
even be seen with them. And you know, your brother is sitting in the crowd and he's like,
what are you doing with the people from such and such? You're doing it for money? No, 100%.
Right. And then that's the thing too. Like, that's a great point you made up as well.
even though Shade didn't play, right?
But let's say he played and now him and Jamal Murray
just on some camera this shit.
Now you got over niggas like, yo,
y'all niggas on some North America shit.
Y'all Wiki's niggins.
You don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
But I thought it was overall...
I thought overall it was an upset.
I didn't like the dunk contest.
I did like the three-point contest.
Shout to Damien Lillet coming in
being out for all this time and winning again.
Devin Booker had the show.
I thought that was came down to the wire.
That was really good to watch too.
Devin Booker had a chance to win it.
Didn't pull it off,
but Damien Lilly will win this third three-point contest.
Yeah.
Just real quick.
You said, do you watch the dunk contest or you didn't?
Or you said you said, or you said you watched it?
I didn't like it.
I watched it three, I watched everything.
Okay.
I watched three-point contests.
I liked it.
And I watched the All-Star game
and I liked it.
I just didn't like the dunk contest.
Did you see the four dunks that Matt McClung put online?
Oh, yeah, that he would have done for the contest.
Yeah, that was crazy.
Yeah.
Why would he not be in it?
Yeah.
That's the first nigga who won the dunk contest without participating.
Right.
He won that shit online.
Yeah, that was crazy.
Yeah, because it looked good.
Because even just seeing like Jackson Hayes, like he's already so tall, the dunks that
he was trying to put up, it was like, we're not getting anything from this.
But I mean, shout out to the guy who won because shout out Miami.
But he definitely made sure to sell the part after he dunked by making sure that he was
dancing after everything that he did.
But it's also not a dance contest.
It's a dunk contest.
Yeah.
He didn't get the moment.
What's the nigga?
What's the nigga name who wants that?
He shot Johnson.
Oh, okay, sure.
Okay.
Yeah.
He was on that
downed over E40 and, you know,
was doing all the...
No, I know who won.
I just didn't know his name like that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I agree with the done contest.
They still got to make some fixes there.
But talking about fixes,
since we were talking about the three-point contest,
Damian Lillard is actually trying to recruit
Steph, Clay, and Booker.
He sent a DM to Steph Curry,
and Steph actually replied,
yes, sir, I'm in,
and Clay will do it if I ask,
and Book will be at home.
It's a perfect setup.
Mace.
Is that something that you'd want to see?
I definitely want to see that.
I definitely want to see that.
I'm all for watching the best go against the best.
Like when it's not the, when the best doesn't show up, it's kind of like cheating the fans, right?
Especially as casuals.
Like Killer was talking about, do you want to see a knockout?
You actually want to see your dream list of people in the dunk contest.
You want to see your dream list of people.
people in the three-point contest.
That's why you're paying all the money for the tickets.
You're not paying all the money for the tickets to see some random guys shooting
threes that I really don't even know who this is.
Right?
When I saw Damon Lillet, it's like, oh, yeah, let's see it.
Let's see this.
It should be good because you got something to prove.
I hope he takes this back to Portland.
Yeah, absolutely.
I want to see it.
Yeah, it makes something best, but absolutely I would love to see that.
But who knows?
I think three-point contest is a little different.
Niggas would participate in a three-point contest before the dunk contest.
I just don't know why it's escape relevance.
The thing about it is this what I really believe in my personal heart of hearts is the more niggins like me, Mace,
or niggas older than us actually, not even us really, just niggas like the Michael George.
You know, Magic Johnson said he's not even going back to all.
Star game.
Like, he's like, man, I'm done with it.
When niggas get serious, let me know.
I'm not coming back.
I think the more people say something, the more the younger kids
like, good, don't come.
I don't care.
You had your turn.
I really believe that's where they're at with it.
I don't think that it offense them.
You know how you probably be like, oh, nigger, think I won't do it.
I really believe in my heart or hearts that they be like,
so what, old nigger?
I don't care what you did when it was your turn.
We're not doing all that.
It's my goal.
I really believe that's the mentality.
I like it, though.
Okay, y'all, well, that is all the time that we have for today.
Thank you all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
