Starting point is 00:01:51 You got on Ohio State. What's up? It's an early season switch up. What's going on? The team issued Ohio State gear. You can get it right. Oh, okay. Yeah, be clear.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Oh, yeah. What the fuck you talking about? Be clear, nigga. You acting crazy, nigga. What the fuck you talking about? Be clear, nigga. Oh, nice. You acting crazy, nigga. What the fuck you talking about? It's issue, nigga. That means you can't get it.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Faws. Team issue. I'm going to Ohio State. Team issue. Yo, Mo, it's good to have you back, man. First show of the season for you, baby. How you been? What you been doing?
Starting point is 00:02:23 Nah, it's been a great summer, man. I told you, everything's been great, man. Business great, family great. Got the relationship back with Ohio State. Everything great, everything great in my life. Well, let me ask you this. Oh, and I say, oh, Mike Wordman has been a great addition, too. He's hilarious. Yeah, man, part of the team. You know, he our family.
Starting point is 00:02:41 He your family. Let me ask you this. Ohio State, do you think they got you back in the loop because they see you run around with these championships with Connecticut, they caught the vapors or it's just a family thing? You can be honest with us. No, let me be totally honest. The whole world caught a new wave
Starting point is 00:02:58 of just me being on the internet being from the show. That's the serious thing and just me promoting, talking and just being back in the limelight's the serious thing. And just me promoting, talking, and just being back like in the limelight, so to speak. The show kind of got me back in traffic. And then from there, people had seen me out in Connecticut and helping those guys out.
Starting point is 00:03:16 And so Ryan Day had hit me up during the summer. He was like, yo, let's sit down for a couple of conversations. And you know, I hadn't been back there, a lot of people don't know, in 21 years. And so literally it was this show that kind of got me back in traffic, got me back on the scene with everybody. And then we sat down for a few different,
Starting point is 00:03:32 you know, a few different sessions, just talked about, you know, things I've done in Connecticut, places where I'm at in my life right now. And he said, man, I love to have you around the team. So I go down every week, you know, so I'm in the locker room, you know, on the field with the guys,
Starting point is 00:03:43 and I get a chance to do the same thing with Ohio State that I do with Connecticut. Now that's really dope. And the thing about it is, since you won't say it, I'll say it, y'all caught the vapors. It may not be because of Connecticut, but you see them on it is what it is every week. Niggas is like, oh niggas,
Starting point is 00:04:03 them niggas knew what Mo was about, we let them go. Fuck, Mo was down with us originally. Y'all caught the vapors. For those that don't know what the vapors is, do you know what the vapors is, Starr? No. Exactly. Oh my goodness. It's a song by Bismarck Key, if y'all wanna Google,
Starting point is 00:04:18 it's called The Vapors. Basically, niggas who shit it on you, and then when you pop it again, they come back and be like, nah, I wasn't even like that. That's the vapers. Kind of like your school stat. When they threw you in the shit,
Starting point is 00:04:32 they caught the vapers. Yeah. So congratulations though. Big shout out to Ohio State as well. Man, I think it's a good fit pause cause y'all niggas is all from the town. So, I mean, you're not from Columbus, but you're from the state and ain't far it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:04:45 Congratulations. Yeah, but a huge thank you to y'all. And I don't say that in a commercial way, but a thank y'all to just different opportunity just came from being a part of the show. And so I thank y'all for that. No problem. We've been great, bro. Yeah. So love to hear good news from you, Maurice. And glad to have you back on the show. So let's start with this first game. The Chiefs beat the Ravens 27 to 20 in the NFL season opener. Obviously, a lot went down on in this game, but how do you guys feel about the overall outcome,
Starting point is 00:05:14 how it ended, and how the game went as a whole? Maurice, first. For the first game of the season, it was exciting, but it was like two major takeaways for me. If I was a Ravens fan, you know, I would like kind of cringe to myself and say, man, if we only had Lamar Jackson, who could complete some open passes and have a better deep ball, like the Ravens will probably be like a championship contender. But then on the flip side of that, man, when I see in Kansas City,
Starting point is 00:05:41 from the entire game, they look fast, they look aggressive. They look like they didn't lose a step. It actually looked like they got better. And knowing that this is the early part of the season and knowing that they'll only get better from here, like I was thinking to myself like, man, who are really going to beat these guys? And so I enjoyed the game, but I took away that,
Starting point is 00:05:58 you know, Kansas City is going to go on another championship run. Mo, you have a grasp on the obvious. Welcome to title town, my friend. You have a complete grasp. Pause. You see what we putting down, right? So next week, when I come in here, anything dealing with the Chiefs from now on, I'm
Starting point is 00:06:21 going to let you and Cam sort that out. Cause we're on a run for a three-peat, you know? Stat, you coming with us? I see you try to wear the red shirt today. Are you ready to jump ship? This is purely coincidental. I'm not ready to jump ship, but y'all got it. You sure?
Starting point is 00:06:38 I'm positive. Okay, I'm gonna ask you one more time, because Titletown about to pull off. This is I don't even usually wear like y'all got it. Shout out to you. You wear red when the heat is winning. You know that. You know sometimes.
Starting point is 00:06:54 But yeah, earlier in the season no. But y'all got Titletown. That's not my team. Yeah, I said what I had to say, you know, I'm 1-0 this year. Cam is 0-1, but use code cam, use code cam for all your betting purposes. Really quick though, but when I say it's one and O for Miami, it's a problem, but all of a sudden
Starting point is 00:07:15 when the chiefs do it, it's okay, but I'm just saying. The whole thing is, I have no problem with that. Let's see where we was at with everything else we picked. But I don't mind, I don't mind. This was the great, this was actually while I was running a little bit late. I had to see the end of this game. This was really a first, great first game, opening season.
Starting point is 00:07:37 Patrick Mahomes picked up right where he left off. He looked really good. Like you said, Mo Lamar, Jackson, just missed some really, really key open passes, especially towards that last drive. But overall he had an exceptional game. 273 yards passing, 22 yards running. That offensive line, pardon me, that defensive line for Kansas City looked gas.
Starting point is 00:08:02 He had them jumping around, they couldn't catch him in that last drive. And if anybody seen the game, this game came down to Big Toe on the line, on the line. And I was like, damn, I really thought they tied it up. And you know what I really liked is that Harbaugh, when he thought the game was, when he thought he scored that touchdown
Starting point is 00:08:23 with no time left, he said, let's go for two. So that means it would have been a 26, 27 game. He didn't even want to go to overtime. He said, we gonna win or we gonna lose. It was just, pause this much of a toe on the line. Cause when I'm watching the live, I'm like, oh shit.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Yo, these niggas really scored at the buzzer. And Harbaugh said, we going for two. I like that shit. I think Baltimore played a really great game. Kansas City, you can't take anything away from them and the defending champs. Baltimore just seems to see it be a touchdown away from tying or being better than them.
Starting point is 00:08:58 The same exact amount of points they lost to last year in the AFC championship. Their touchdown, less than here in the city, as far as being as good as them. But as far as an opening game, I can't ask for anything more. It looked like we got an emerging star. It looks like Lamar Jackson has a target to go to this year.
Starting point is 00:09:19 Likely looked fucking tremendous. Believe he had 111 yards. He actually got hurt two plays before that last catch that he made or didn't, well, didn't count. But he got injured and I thought his night was over with about 10, 15 seconds left. And he came in for the last play of the game, caught the ball.
Starting point is 00:09:42 And if he wore size nine instead of a size 10, that would have been a touchdown. That would have been a touchdown, man. So I don't think that Baltimore has anything to lower their head about Pauz, but a Lewis is a Lewis. And you got to give it up to Kansas City Chiefs, but it shouldn't have came down to that last play. Mo, you made some great points.
Starting point is 00:10:04 That Lamar missed some very, very key passes towards the end that didn't have to wait till the last second for Likely to catch that pass. But any takeaway that I do have from this game is that Lamar Jackson has a guaranteed target this year, and Likely is really good. Yeah. Didn't Kelsey break a record this game? I have to'll check. Another thing is this NFL.
Starting point is 00:10:26 We not gonna start all this Taylor Swift shit on a Thursday night. It was Thursday, y'all showing on the golf cart coming in the game, in the game. Like y'all drug it last year. I don't even know her new single. I'm seeing her more on y'all fucking with the NFL games than her music.
Starting point is 00:10:43 I'm seeing her more on the NFL games than her music. I'm last year. I don't even know her new single. I'm seeing her more on y'all fucking with the NFL games than her music. And I say her music ain't popping in none of that. I'm not talking for the Swifties. I'm just telling you, goddamn, could we start the season? We ain't gotta show the chick driving through in the golf car, waving this down the third, man.
Starting point is 00:11:04 This is about Lamar Jackson. This is about Patrimon, this is about Kelsey, this, waving this down the third, man. This is about Lamar Jackson. This is about Patrick Mahone. This is about Kelsey. This is about, likely, Derrick Henry, man. There's a lot of other variables that go into the NFL season. We don't have to kick this season off with Taylor Swift. Three, four weeks into the season, I dig it and all that,
Starting point is 00:11:19 but goddamn, we started middle season Taylor Swift. They won the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift. Started season Taylor Swift. God damn, this is football. Relax, relax. And then to answer your question, Travis Kelsey didn't, but Patrick Holmes did. He broke the Chiefs all time passing yards record, so.
Starting point is 00:11:40 Congrats. Yeah, of course. Thank you. And then last thing I want to add, I do want to praise Xavier Worthy. He was the Chiefs' first round pick. He played phenomenal. I was saying, if I was Skaderia's Tony,
Starting point is 00:11:52 I'd be sick because the Chiefs did wave him earlier in the summer. So then to bring a rookie in, and then he scores two touchdowns in the season opener versus the Ravens, crazy work. So shout out to him. I'm excited to see how he progresses throughout the season, because it's only game one.
Starting point is 00:12:07 So as a rookie to be playing like that, like, that's a phenomenal job, so shout out to him. He did all right. I think I have 47 yards. His defender slipped. I watched that. His defender slipped. And he was wide open. It wasn't crazy. No, I'm not taking away from the win.
Starting point is 00:12:23 He ain't got no crazy game. I mean, it seemed crazy. Like if you get the ball on the two yard line and you scored two touchdowns, it seems crazy. Like, oh yeah, two touchdowns. He had 47 yards. One of them passes, his defender slipped. He had a right game. When niggas see two touchdowns, it seemed like it was crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:39 Wasn't crazy, he only had 47 yards. You did all right. Unless the stats say he gassed it. Like he had 125 yards and all. He only got 47 yards. You did all right. Unless that's a gassy. Like he had 125 yards and all. No. Gen Z, you know Gen Z. It's still a good start. Y'all know I like to track how the rookies perform.
Starting point is 00:12:53 So for me, I'm like, okay, first game, you have more things to watch. 47 yards and one of your, and on, and 40, and on a 40 yard pass, your defenders slip, whatever. I give more credit to Pacheco on the Chiefs, it was two times, one of them was actually for a touchdown, when he gets tackled, but he doesn't touch the ground,
Starting point is 00:13:14 they roll over, pause, and he's still not on the ground, he realizes he's just on the defender's back, pause, and he gets up and start running for extra yardage, so try to P checker as well. Now ain't gonna shit on your neck. And two touchdowns is cool, but the way stat presented, she did like Michael Irving yesterday, all dramatic and all that was crazy. Oh, but a wins the winning.
Starting point is 00:13:36 Congratulations to the chiefs. Yeah, definitely. Okay. So moving along, let's talk some NBA. So when asked who was the worst NBA player of all time, Shaq responded Rudy Gobert, and he said, Ben Simmons is another bum. Rudy Gobert obviously didn't take that lightly. So when he saw the tweet, he said, it is sad to see someone that has accomplished as much
Starting point is 00:13:58 as you did at Shaq, both in sport and business, still be triggered by another man's finances and accomplishments. I get the entertainment part, but unlike other folks, you don't need that stuff to stay relevant. How do you guys feel about this interaction as a whole between Shaq and Rudy Gobert? Maurice first. Well, they have some history. I've seen Shaq throughout the years, just talk shit about Rudy, his play, his effort. And he has comments about him being a defensive player of the year and things that he did
Starting point is 00:14:30 and didn't do. But I've heard Shaq just on numerous occasions throw jabs at people. And I think it's just his part of his personality, you know what I mean? Just to talk shit about people and compare what they did back in their day. Because it's always younger guys, always shitting the older guys. So Shaq may, in some weird way, may feel like he has to defend himself or defend the arrow of basketball where guys played a little bit harder and where guys were playing a lot harder, excuse me, for a lot less money. And so I think it's just Shaq's personality and Rudy, just like a lot of guys from Gen Z, are sensitive.
Starting point is 00:15:03 You going to put all Gen Z as sensitive, Mo? Yeah. The majority of them, yeah. Yeah. Stand on your statement, Mo. Yeah, Mo. You back, I'm just checking. You know, making sure you know you're here to tell the truth.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Yeah, these guys be sensitive, man. I mean, you know, mental health, some of it's real and a lot of it is these guys, just sensitive guys, man. Oh, sorry, Murda. Look, Shaq does this with every big man pause. It isn't nothing new. It isn't just Rudy Gobert. He disses Dwight Howard.
Starting point is 00:15:46 He disses a lot of big men. Pause because you gotta realize, let's just sit down for those that don't know history. You got Will Chamberlain who scored 100 points. I wasn't allowed to see it. I wasn't allowed to see Bill Russell, but the stories that you hear about Bill Russell were amazing.
Starting point is 00:16:02 You got Patrick Ewing then won the championship of Super Duper great center. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, five championships, if I'm not mistaken. If not six, maybe five or six, I'm not sure. Akeem Olajuwon, somebody who beat Shaq in the championship. Who else am I forgetting? That's just outstanding.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Even though the guys who wasn't super duper stars, you can't forget Rick Smiths, rough and rugged centers. Damn, what's my nigga name from Utah? Who is the center? Fuck, when Carl Malone was playing, he was good too. During Shaq's era and before Shaq's era, centers was rough and rugged and tough,
Starting point is 00:16:44 and I'm not saying they aren't now, but it's changed to where it's not surprising I was, centers was rough and rugged and tough. And I'm not saying they aren't now, but it's changed to where it's not surprising to see your center shoot three threes again. You know what I'm saying? Your center doesn't run to the box and beg for the ball. Like, hey, yo! Those days are over.
Starting point is 00:17:02 And when you watch basketball, when you're old as I am, or maybe a little older, or even just a little bit younger, like Sin is mad at this all the time, that nobody posts up for the boxing, asks for the ball anymore. But a lot of people forget the rules change. You could play zone now. Back then you had to play man to man,
Starting point is 00:17:20 so it was easier to get the ball on the box and have a one-on-one matchup, as opposed to today when you could play zone. But Shaq, this is a lot of centers all the time. And what I would tell Shaq is, you can't really argue with Shaq because he may have been the most dominating force ever as a center. Maybe not the most skilled,
Starting point is 00:17:40 but as a dominating force, he was very powerful. And it's hard to argue that. So when Shaq sees people not playing the center position as rough and rumble as he used to play, I think he likes to diss them from time to time. And like I said, he takes shots at centers all the time. Rudy Gobert... Look, I'm not sitting here questioning his toughness
Starting point is 00:18:06 or anything like that. But when you let somebody who's shorter than you by at least seven, eight inches put you in a chokehold and you just like. What'd I do? What'd I do? You're not trying to fight back. You're not trying to get out the chokehold.
Starting point is 00:18:23 You're just looking at the referee. It's not even a game going on at this point. You're not even to fight back. You're not trying to get out the chokehold. You're just looking at the referee. It's not even a game going on at this point. You're not even trying to get the arms off of your neck. What are you supposed to, like, we call him Rudy Yogurt, okay? I didn't even want to say it. I didn't want to say it on TV. I didn't even want to say it.
Starting point is 00:18:44 That's the nickname when we talk about him. That's what we call him. I'm not here to pile on. A G disrespectful. But when Shaq says, all time worst, that's the question, is that all time worst or just softest? He said worst NBA player of all time.
Starting point is 00:19:02 Nah, I can't go for that. I can't go for that. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I can't, we could go with... I didn't know what to say about that. We could go with Sam Bowie. We could go with a lot of niggas that was all, you know, I think he's better than Greg Odin.
Starting point is 00:19:14 It's a lot of players that didn't pan out. I'm not gonna put Rudy as all time worst. And as much as we talking about Ben Simmons and him dissing them or whatever is going on with him, I can't even put him as an all-time worst because we have to realize it's been such a long time and then sometimes we fall into the forgetting what happened the day before yesterday,
Starting point is 00:19:35 but Ben Simmons is a three-time all-star. Ben Simmons looked like he was gonna be one of them niggas his first three, four, five years in the NBA, and they was always saying if he developed a jump shot, he could be just as. And they was always saying, if he develop a jump shot, he could be just as good as LeBron, but he never developed a jump shot. Then he stopped wanting to play, then he became a fashion.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Supermodel. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? But we do remember he's a three time All-Star. Sometimes we have, we give people a lot of credit who never became All-Stars. So I wouldn't say those two are the worst players ever. Are they two of the most hated players? I would say yes.
Starting point is 00:20:11 Worst players, I would not gonna do that to them. Okay. Fair game. Okay, and then we got some super sad news. So, Ugandan Olympic long-distance runner Rebecca Chiptage passed away four days after being set on fire by her ex-boyfriend. They were apparently arguing over a piece of land. The investigation is still underway,
Starting point is 00:20:30 but she died due to extensive burns. So, first off, rest in peace to Rebecca. It's very, very sad news, but what was you guys' reaction to the situation? Marty's first. It was very unfortunate, obviously. You know, when you set somebody on fire, I see that she passed away from organ failure.
Starting point is 00:20:49 80% of her organs have been, I guess, shut down or collapsed or whatever it is. But very unfortunate, man. You know, you have men who are super emotional. I don't know. There's nothing that's serious, and I think that, you know, would cause you to dump gasoline on a woman or whatever you did to the woman to kill her. Just when I didn't know about it until you told me about the stab, when I read about it,
Starting point is 00:21:11 I just thought it was a very unfortunate thing. And, you know, obviously my heart went out to the lady because that's a wicked way to, you know, go out. Yeah, this is really, really sad because if you think about what could really trigger him to want to do that to us Yeah, this is really sad because if you think about what could really trigger him to wanna do that to us is really alarming. I'm speechless when I think of this.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Man. Killa, it's on you. To me, it isn't really much to say and not saying that in a disrespectful way, especially when you find out the reasoning behind it. Over a piece of land, look, I don't know how valuable the land was. It don't matter if it could have been royal land.
Starting point is 00:21:58 There's no reason to pour gasoline on somebody and set them on fire. I have no idea what caused this. And the other day, I actually seen something similar to this. And I'm like, where's niggas just keeping gasoline around in their house? It was a situation where parents walked in
Starting point is 00:22:15 on their daughter, who was 18 years old having sex with somebody who was 40 years old. This was in Philadelphia. And the father, uh father and the mother shot him. And as he ran out the house, they poured gasoline on him and set him on fire. And he was in the street running on fire.
Starting point is 00:22:37 And he eventually died. But why is niggas keeping gasoline around in the house? You know what I'm saying? I don't get it, but RIP, I really don't have much to say about it except for that's a sad and unfortunate situation. And you know, when I, and that's why a lot of times, and I'm not joking right now
Starting point is 00:22:58 because we talk about a lot of things jokingly. And sometimes I say things jokingly and it comes across funny, but this, I be dead serious. I try to get away as far as possible because I'm not here to fight you or anything. And if anything goes left, it seems like I did something. Even if it's to the point where I'm just trying to get away, you're like, oh, you fell. No, I'm not gonna even let it get to that point. I walk away.
Starting point is 00:23:16 A lot of times we talked about situations where you're just trying to get away. And I'm like, oh, I'm not gonna let it get to that point. I walk away. I'm not gonna let it get to the point where I'm just trying to get away, and you're like, oh, you fell. No, I'm not gonna even let it get to that point. I walk away. A lot of times we talked about situations and we'll be in a joking manner up here
Starting point is 00:23:33 and with Mason Stat, and I'll be like, nah, I'll leave, and you know, it's in a joking form, but I'm really serious. Fellas, walk away if it gets to that point. Ladies, too, sometimes guys are a little aggressive and sometimes guys won't let a lady leave. Fellas, if you can, or ladies, walk away. That's the best bet and figure it out later
Starting point is 00:23:53 because sometimes tempers fly high, you'll be sorry later. Good point. Okay, so looking at what we've seen from the past couple of college football games, right now, who do you guys believe are the best teams in college football? Race first.
Starting point is 00:24:11 I was just about to say that. I was just about to say that. Better. Yeah. Come on, Stats. Yeah, come on. All right, good game. Yeah, no, it's on, it's on, yeah, Ohio State, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, all of them.
Starting point is 00:24:33 I can't even, no, I don't, on a serious note, one, I'm choosing Ohio State. But if you look at Georgia, Georgia is looking good again. Kirby Smart, he reloaded down there, down in Georgia, in Athens. And then, believe it or not, man, Texas. Texas actually looks good, too, with Quinn Uers and Steve Sarkeesian with those guys have built down in Austin. I think Texas is back on the map.
Starting point is 00:24:57 And I haven't had a chance to see everybody else. Obviously, Alabama's going to be Alabama. Ole Miss is going to be Ole Miss, but I'm going with Ohio State and Georgia as the two best teams in football right now. Well, you did come halfway home, Mo. You see, you try to throw the dogs in there, so I'm happy about that.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Well, when it come to me, you know, Ohio State is right there. They're right there. Makes a great number two, one, two punch, depending on who win these first couple of weeks. But the dogs, man. We gotta go with Georgia. The dogs, man. The bulldogs.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Only big dogs. Canos. What is it called? Cane Corso? What is it? Give me the name. Yeah, yeah. No rock wallas, man. Big dogs. Did you see Stat shirt red? Big dogs. I am an example. Go ahead, Stat Growl. Go ahead, Stat.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Go viral, Stat. I am not no Georgia fan. What a dog? I am not no Georgia fan. Stat got something to say now. Let one of them young niggas do a stat. Let one of them young niggas do a stat. She gonna be in there going, rrrrr. No!
Starting point is 00:26:09 No, man. Hey, stat got something to say this year. Yeah, the best team in college football right now? Oh, stat, don't do that stat. Right now? You on camera. Don't do what? Right now?
Starting point is 00:26:23 You on camera, stat. Okay, okay. I'm gonna tell you like Tilly used to tell me. Right now? You on camera, Stan. Okay, okay. I'm gonna tell you like Tilly used to tell me. You know they can see you, right? I know. I want to be seen, because y'all already know, you already know what it is. The you. Hey, look.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Hey, Ken Ward. Look, Ken Ward got Miami gas right now. And she got Michael Irving with her, so you know she gonna be, you know, she gassed up right now. It's, oh, I'll let you go first, and then I'll explain. You don't have to explain nothing to me. Y'all one and all, y'all. I told you about we been playing good.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Mo, you're absolutely right. The best team in college football is Ohio State. They have Georgia ranked ahead of us. But to be totally honest with you, this is a get-back year for Ohio State. Michigan winning the championship last year, not only Michigan winning the championship, Ohio State losing to Michigan,
Starting point is 00:27:11 and then them going on to winning the championship, this is no more, what's the word I'm looking for, embarrassment for Ohio State than that. Not only that, Ryan Day, you're on the clock. He knows that. He knows this could potentially be his last year if he doesn't get the job done. Not only that, you're getting $10 million a year,
Starting point is 00:27:32 you lose to Michigan, they're going to win the championship, and this is a problem. Everybody in Ohio State knows this is a problem, and I don't think that they'll let anything slide this year with anybody, including Georgia. So the best team to me right now rank wise is Georgia, but mentally in their brain, and I think that they'll win it all, is Ohio State.
Starting point is 00:27:53 Killers, so you coming to the Ohio State game? I don't need your permission to go anything in Ohio, Mace. Thank you, bro. I appreciate it, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. If I want to go to anything in Florida, I'll give you a call. Thank you. Appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:28:12 It's funny, Mo. You know what's crazy about it. I didn't even want to say nothing. I was wearing orange and blue yesterday talking about the gators and how they're in the mud and everything. Now it's back to Georgia again today. Day by day with this guy right here, man. Day by day with this guy, man.
Starting point is 00:28:28 Amazing. I was about to ask you, have any of y'all watched that Connor Stallion's documentary on Netflix? No, I haven't. Is it good? Yeah, it's a good watch. It's a dude who was basically doing all that cheating for Michigan. Once you see's a, yes, it's a good watch. It's us to do who was basically doing all that cheating
Starting point is 00:28:47 for Michigan. Once you see that documentary, man, you'll look at the success a little bit different. I'm not saying it as a bias or how state fan, but essentially like you, how about this? I want you to watch it without my opinion. And then next week, you know, we'll come on the show and talk about it.
Starting point is 00:29:01 But basically- So in other words, in other words, we rarely beat them niggas. They was cheating. Yeah, I'm talking about, so they was, under hardball, you know, they was cheating teams up until 21 to 22. And then he started giving them all like, you know, team signals and playbooks.
Starting point is 00:29:20 And basically he just took all the honor out of basically scouting other teams. And so just imagine you lining up and didn't niggas know your place. So essentially he's out there and it just wasn't with Ohio State, it was everybody who they played. So they had this competitive advantage. And it's just like, I remember when I was in the joint and you would have dudes who would write books and they would call them novels, but they would basically be their
Starting point is 00:29:42 crimes because they wanted you to know that they put in work or they killed somebody, but they would try to write it in like some, I'm telling you, I'd be like, man, nigga, you did this shit. You know what I'm saying? And so, yeah, I mean, listen to me, I had dudes who act like that, but on his documentary, he's acting like that where he wants people to know or he's getting a kick out of everybody finding out that he's become somebody from Cheating for Michigan. And when you watch people be like, yo, like this isn't even honorable. Like y'all didn't beat people the right way. So whatever, for whatever it's worth. That's kind of crazy, Mo. Your first
Starting point is 00:30:17 pause of the year. He didn't beat people the right way as well. Welcome back. and you need people the right way as well. Okay, welcome back. Yeah, for real, boy, that was wild. What a conspiracy, Mo. Okay, and then before we go to break, we did talk about it a little bit earlier this week, but Maurice, definitely want to get your opinion. Do you believe that Kim Ward has the ability
Starting point is 00:30:45 to bring back the you? I do. He looked, in the game where I've seen him beat Florida, I think it's two things. One, he's mature and has had a bunch of success when he was at, what is it called, Washington State, and he's had success. He's come out, I think it was out
Starting point is 00:31:03 of the junior college program, so he's been through the rigor. He's trying to prove himself. He went, he entered the NFL draft and then he got out of the draft and came back for a senior and he went down there. And Miami has always had pieces, man. They've always had the pieces, but they've never had the quarterback leadership. And so I think that he'll make a Miami into a playoff team this year.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Mo don't get statses up so high. This is another one of those questions that she's setting up in this show. Not a setup. All of a sudden, we're so focused on Miami. It's been one game. I'm not even, I'm gonna do what Killer used to do. Did you see him play?
Starting point is 00:31:42 Yeah, I mean, the kid is good, but it's one game, Mo. It's one game. I will add really quick. Okay, what you said, the cheeks is... I was gonna say, it's not even just the game. If you look at the schedule too, like Nexus, FAMU, Nexus, Ball State, South Florida, and eventually we play Florida State,
Starting point is 00:31:59 they're cheeks right now. So it's like, we have the perfect setup. To look good. I'm not even trying to like, be like, ugh. To look good about nothing. To look good about nothing. Well, it's not nothing, because if setup. I'm not even trying to be like, but it's like... To look good about nothing. To look good about nothing. Well, it's not nothing, because if we win in the end,
Starting point is 00:32:09 that helps his draft stock. Mo, Mo, Mo, come on, Mo. Mo, this is not making no sense, Mo. I'm saying, so... We just looked at Kansas City, and we can see off of one game, they got the pieces and the infrastructure. Mo, Mo, that's why I said
Starting point is 00:32:21 this is not making no sense. Are you about to put Cam up there with Pat Mahomes Mo? I don't know what y'all doing in Ohio for real. That wasn't my point. Go ahead, go ahead. I'm going to let you rock. Cook. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:32:35 My point was when you look at what they have, like South Florida, all those kids in Miami, they've always had a ton of athletes. They've always had good players. In order to win in college, you've seen it with Michael Pinnix last year when he was playing for Washington. You need a quarterback, somebody who's mature, somebody who's had success.
Starting point is 00:32:53 And he can basically make all those players good around him. So I believe that he's going to bring them back to some level of prominence. And then we talk about stat. And once you get that confidence back by winning the first six, seven, eight games, their confidence is everything in college football. You know, and then they, I don't want,
Starting point is 00:33:08 I'm not saying they're gonna go on a playoff run and beat Ohio State or nothing like that. But they'll bring the energy back to Miami that Miami has lost for like the past 10, 15 years. So because they beat Ball State, Domino's State, and then they play, um... -♪ You know, you've not been undefeated. And then two months into the season, you've won all your games. You know, you get Mike Werber to do your pregame speech.
Starting point is 00:33:50 You get all those guys coming back on the sidelines, talking about how great the program was. Man, you can catch lightning in the bottle. I don't know. To me, I like what I seen, pause, when they play Florida. It looked like a whole different team, just their energy, the aggression.
Starting point is 00:34:06 And just even they got some swag back in there now, where, you know, niggas like, man, fuck you, we do you. Like, I kinda like when they act like that because it's like, that's what makes college football. Everybody like, you know, believe in shit. Okay. Cam, no comments? Yeah, I should have followed Cam right now. Okay, that answers that. We're gonna go to break when we return
Starting point is 00:34:32 we will discuss USC retiring Caleb Williams Jersey. Don't go anywhere. I'm ignoring all things University of Miami. For the rest of the year. So niggas is 8 and 0 at least, man. I'm not feeding into that. One eye, one heart, one love. Excuse me. After last night's performance, we're going to do this again?
Starting point is 00:35:02 That's all right. I don't think so. performance we're gonna do this again I'm Rico fucking strong. Oh, shit. Baby! Hey. I'm back. Fuck! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!
Starting point is 00:35:56 The hell no! Muchacho, levántate! Toma esto, bebetelo! Right now? Vuel, vuel, puña! Well, now, right now! Right now? Right now. Right now. Yeah. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:36:23 Now let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day. So this Sunday, the Browns will play the Cowboys. Underdog fantasy has Dak Prescott at 245 and a half passing yards. You have them higher or lower mace. I'm gonna go lower. Pause. One more time. 245 and a half passing yards.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Who? Dak Prescott. 245? a half passing yards. Who? Dak Prescott. 245? Mm-hmm. Who they point? The Browns. I'm going to go lower. OK, CD Lamb is at 10 and a half targets.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Do you have him higher or lower, Cam? I mean, he's definitely definitely gonna hire on the targets, both of them, they got his chicken. If Dak wanna get his chicken, you better pass it to who gonna catch the ball. You know, that nigga still ain't figure his contract shit out. So we're gonna go definitely 10 targets
Starting point is 00:37:18 unless they double in CD Lamb. That's the only way it's not gonna be 10 targets, but Dak trying to get paid, you're gonna give it to who gonna definitely catch the ball. So I'm gonna go higher. That's a lot way it's not gonna be 10 targets, but that trying to get paid, you're gonna give it to who gonna definitely catch the ball. So I'm gonna go higher. That's a lot to go higher on. I'm gonna take the chance on that.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Hi. Okay, and Deshaun Watson's at 221 and a half passing yards. Dem higher, Laura Mase. Hi. Yeah, if you wanna make a statement, Deshaun Watson, to have people feel like you deserve the money that you signed for, this is a good game to make a statement.
Starting point is 00:37:49 It's on Monday, right? Sunday. Last game, late night or the afternoon? I think it's afternoon for us. I ain't even put the Dallas Cowboys on prime time like that no more. I ain't even with that. Listen, we're going to stay with Ohio.
Starting point is 00:38:04 And Deshaun Watson. This is your chance because last year, they sat there and said you got hurt, you didn't do your thing like that last year. And you let Flacco come in and make a name for himself on the team that's paying you $250 million. The year before that, they got you get a pass because they said you missed a few games
Starting point is 00:38:22 because of the handies. This is the season to prove what you need to do. I'm gonna go higher. Okay. Make sure to use code MazeCameraStat. You can get a first deposit match up to $1,000. And remember there's a Jalen Hurts free pick for everyone. So if you're a new customer, now's the time to sign up
Starting point is 00:38:41 and get that easy first cash entry. And if you're a long time underdog fan, this is their way of saying thank you for being a part of the team. So download the Underdog Fantasy app and you can make your picks too. We are joined back with our analyst, Maurice Claret. Okay, so last week USC beat LSU 27-20, but regarding USC, they decided to retire Caleb Williams, number 12 jersey. They're also retiring retire Caleb Williams, number 12 jersey.
Starting point is 00:39:05 They're also retiring Reggie Bush's number five jersey. So both players receive Heisman's during their college career, as we know, but does this decision make sense to you guys? Maurice, first. It may be a tradition for people who win Heisman to get their jerseys retired, but I didn't realize they were doing Reggie Bush's jersey. I'm actually more excited about USC honor and showing our
Starting point is 00:39:31 paying respect and showing homage to Reggie Bush than Caleb Williams. I think like, I don't know, I say it feels like it's too soon for him to get his jersey retired. Most of the time that people want to get their jersey retired, there's like some time that passes. And I don't know, it just feels like it's too soon for him to get his jersey retired. Most of the time, the people want to get their jersey retired. There's, like, some time that passes. And I don't know, it just feels like it's too soon for him. But I'm more excited that just even you hearing that Reggie Bush is getting his jersey retired. You know, we came up together. Yeah, I feel the same that you feel about this, Mo.
Starting point is 00:40:00 But I think they should have waited to give Caleb's his on another day. I don't think they should retire his jersey give Caleb's his on another day. I don't think they should retire his jersey on the day of Reggie Bush. It kind of overshadows Reggie Bush because people are gonna remember most times the most recent one.
Starting point is 00:40:15 So I think that's an issue in itself. I agree with both of y'all. Listen, man, check this shit the fuck out. Caleb Williams didn't even play an NFL game, and I'm not saying he didn't have a college career that wasn't semi-historic, but at the end of the day, God damn it, you're not in college three months, y'all niggas is retiring a nigga.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Jersey after three months, Reggie Bush been out the fucking college for 20 years. What the fuck are we doing, USC? Y'all niggas is retiring Reggie Bush shit 20 years later as opposed to a nigga who just got out of college three months ago. Y'all wack for that. That's super duper wack. Secondly, now y'all niggas is wanting to retire
Starting point is 00:40:57 Reggie Bush jersey because niggas came to his rescue after they was wanting to take his husband away, and then they gave it back to him after Manzel who the fuck had his back mo? After Manzel and the rest of the husband trophy winners was like yo We ain't showing up unless y'all niggas give Reggie Bush his husband back Niggas gave Reggie Bush his husband back the ussc must have been like Okay, fuck it. We might as well retire his jersey at the same time.
Starting point is 00:41:28 Look, what we gotta stop doing is this, man. If it wasn't domestic violence, murder, something egregious, we gotta stop holding niggas football and basketball records against them when it comes to situations like this. You got Terrell Owens just getting retired two, three years ago when he should have, I mean, his Hall of Fame, pardon me,
Starting point is 00:41:52 entering the Hall of Fame two, three years ago when you know damn well he should have been in the Hall of Fame. He's top three in every single category when it comes to receiving. But because what? The coaches didn't like him. He cried on the sidelines once in a while.
Starting point is 00:42:07 He was arrogant. Whatever the case may be, he ain't committing no crimes. He ain't do nothing crazy. What are you holding that man from being in a hall of fame for? Because he was doing shit off the field. On the field, he performed. Same thing, Reggie Bush.
Starting point is 00:42:21 He took some money from niggas because he needed it, I guess. Now it's legal to take money, and when it come to shit like that, I just be saying niggas had to vision. You sit there and you got shot to my nigga Rallo. You lock him up, falled his weed, and now weed legal. Your government, everybody selling it. How come they can't be visionaries?
Starting point is 00:42:43 Maybe they see some shit that you ain't see. And now everybody selling weed. I don't like this shit because niggas be needing money in college. I went to college and I went away to college and you know how much it hurts to go to that mailbox and your family lying to you saying they sent you money? And you know and they know they didn't send it.
Starting point is 00:43:02 They be like, well, maybe it got lost. I sent you a cashier's check. You dead pop. I'm in school in Texas. I'm in the mailbox every day. Knowing that they lying to me, the money ain't coming. Everybody else getting sneakers and eating food when they want to eat food. I got to wait for the cafeteria to open to get something to eat. It's frustrating.
Starting point is 00:43:23 And they ain't like these niggas with doing anything bad to where, same thing, Fab Five in Michigan. They took some money, niggas want to take the banners down. They didn't want to champion. They didn't want to division or the conference or whatever banners. They got to stop it.
Starting point is 00:43:36 That had nothing to do with them dudes playing good basketball. We got to separate the two. And when it's not egregious crimes, I think the people need to get the accolades that they deserve. Back to USC, USC, you're dead wrong. I think it should definitely be on two different days. But Reggie Bush is a fucking USC legend.
Starting point is 00:43:54 I think he deserves his own date, aside from Caleb Williams. And Caleb Williams ain't even been out of school a year yet. Y'all niggas is wack. Get it together. Let me add something to it. Yeah. No, I want to add just the power of media.
Starting point is 00:44:12 So, you know, Reggie Bush does that show with Fox. And I remember he just started to bring up the issue about the Heisman, and he was able to articulate what was actually going on with the NCAA. And he was able to, like, actually speak for himself and just the power of social media, independent media and just so many platforms that weren't available 10, 15, 20 years ago. And then when Johnny Manziel went on club, Shay Shay,
Starting point is 00:44:33 like all those things put the pressure on USC to do what they're doing now. And just even like I told you at the beginning of the show, me being on this show, me being visible, me being able to talk. And it just goes to show the power of independent media. Like this thing is only gonna get better for people. And like independent media essentially helped
Starting point is 00:44:51 to rectify both of these situations. Dope. Okay, so let's discuss Colorado, their first game. They beat North Dakota State 31 to 26. Just in general, what are you guys' expectations, excuse me, for them this season? Maurice first. I think they're building the same thing.
Starting point is 00:45:12 They have some of the same issues from last year. One good team, they look better than last year, but you still need those guys up front on both sides. If you want to be a competitive team to be able to get to a playoff run. So I'm happy that they got Warren Sapp into the fold. I think he'll attract some younger players. I'm not sure if everybody knows, but next year you'll have the opportunity where you
Starting point is 00:45:36 have each college team has the opportunity to do revenue sharing. So you'll be able to give more guys more money from TV contracts and any sort of revenue that comes to the university. So you'll be able to get and recruit guys just like your power five schools. But I think they'll be better, but they still struggle on the offensive defensive line from what I've seen, even when they played the team in Beatle. Yeah. I want to say something to Coach Prom through this camera. I truly believe after watching Colorado
Starting point is 00:46:08 that they have what it takes to win now. And I know people say, Mace, you're bugging, but sometimes you have the right players that you just have to motivate. And I think Deion is like the king of motivation when it comes to players and getting the best out of his team and things of that nature. If I, I wouldn't, I wouldn't set this year off to think that we're just one more year away. Sometimes this could be the team that break out and get you close
Starting point is 00:46:38 there. May, may not win it all, but I think they can go on a run because they have enough swag on that team, talent, and enough people that can find between Travis and Shador, they can wield a way to two games back to back that could take them really, really far. So I would really focus on this year as something they can really get close to where they need to go. on this year as something they can really get close to where they need to go. Look, Colorado looked like on offense
Starting point is 00:47:11 they could score on anybody. Shadour too look crazy. Travis Hunter's looking like a Heisman candidate that first week since we doing first week stats. He looked incredible on offense and defense. There's a couple defensive plays. They didn't even call the hold, and they was actually holding him a few times
Starting point is 00:47:31 when North Dakota scored. What I'll say is this, offense is tremendous. Defense, it looked just like last year. Doesn't look good. And I know they have a new defensive coordinator, Robert Livingston. And, and coach prom, no, I'm down with the team. You know, I'll be out there in Colorado,
Starting point is 00:47:51 I'll be in the locker room, I'll be there supporting. But Mr. Livingston, you look in the first game, I will have to give you a D pause. And I'm talking about, yeah, that was, I know, super. That was pretty bad. That was pretty bad. You know what's starting to get all the way involved? Licking your tongue, you're like,
Starting point is 00:48:07 this is out of control, you're in the game officially. From now on, that's actually crazy. That's crazy, yeah. I don't know what I say, you get a D that made you want to do that. No, of course. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I saying I have no idea what caused that. But, yes, and I don't know what caused that.
Starting point is 00:48:43 I don't know, John, you get F, all right? We'll take it to F. But you look like they picked up from last year as far as defense is concerned. And Colorado's gonna put points on the board, but you gotta be able to stop a nosebleed too. Come on now. It looked terrible.
Starting point is 00:49:01 I seen Warren Sapp down there being able to do it. He could do it as far as the defensive line's concerned, but this is really gonna be on Robert Livingston being there. He's the defensive coordinator. And they got rid of last year's defensive coordinator, Bochuan, to stop at least a nosebleed. So if we get anything more than a nosebleed, we're in trouble.
Starting point is 00:49:20 And when I say we, I'm talking about Colorado, because I feel like we, when it comes to Colorado, even though, see, my thing is this, even though I'm Ohio State, I know where... I know where the tickets is at. See, you know, sometimes people don't know how to be cool with the niggas they cool with. You know, when you're on the field, as much as...
Starting point is 00:49:39 What do you know, Florida? You're not gonna get on the field on Florida murder. You're not. They don't even know you like that in the University of Miami stat. You're not going to get on the field on Florida murder. You're not. They don't even know you like that in the University of Miami stat. You're not going to be on the field like that. Who don't? You going to be on the field this year?
Starting point is 00:49:51 I literally worked the boss office. I was on the field. Like, I was very involved with the team. Are you going to get on the field this year? If I go to a game? Let's make a $5 bet. OK. Let's see if stats then.
Starting point is 00:50:04 Stat on the field. Stat, I don't know. I was bluffing her, she might tell me shut up and get the 50 film. I was picture posted. Okay, say no more. Oh, so you know what, stay out of Colorado with us this year when we go, we bought you last year Dan. I didn't say that, we love Colorado, but also Miami. See what I'm saying, Dion, you see what I'm saying? D.R., you see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:50:25 I was trying to make a point for you, Coach. See how they switch up on us real quick? But, Shadour and Cam are like this. Like, it's family. See what I'm saying? Oh my goodness. That's the truth. They like this.
Starting point is 00:50:38 They support each other. That's what Michael Urban was saying the other day. He said, yeah, we finna go. That story was wack. That story Michael Urban said was whack. Nigga said, yo, it's hot outside, and Cam said, nah, let's work out. The story was trash. She's Miami.
Starting point is 00:50:54 That story was trash. Like, I was bluffing Stad. I don't know if she's on the field or not, but I know one thing. When we go to Colorado, we get treated like royalty. So I say we when it comes to Colorado. Coach, I'm gonna keep the glasses that you sent all three for me.
Starting point is 00:51:08 Now everybody up here is acting funny. Okay, and when you sell the cell phone, and when you send the cell phones in, I'm not giving nobody their cell phones either. You're not gonna let the church have a phone? I'm not letting, no, get it, get it. You're not gonna let the church have a phone. Get it on your arm.
Starting point is 00:51:29 Get it on, get it. Coach, Coach is not with you on that. Yo, listen, get it how you live. No. So since everybody up here acting unfamiliar, Coach, all three cell phones and all three glasses will be in my possession. Now, but on a serious note,
Starting point is 00:51:51 I just want to see their defense get better. And right now, looking at defense in their first game, it looked terrible. It looked like a pickup from last year's defense in our 2023, 2024 season. And I hope it gets better, but offensively, they're gonna score when they wanna score. Look really good.
Starting point is 00:52:08 And then in reference to Shador and Travis, do you guys feel like you should have to win a championship or the conference to win a Heisman? Maurice, I'm gonna let you go first. I don't think so. I think just the Heisman in general should go to the most dynamic and impactful player.
Starting point is 00:52:27 But with both of them being on the same team and people, some may love Shador, some may love Travis. I wonder if they'll like cannibalize votes from each other, uh, just when it comes to Heisman voting, but it should, it shouldn't matter if you win a championship, you win a conference. If you're an impactful player and you're, and you're a difference maker on the field, you know, you should get the chance to, uh, you win the conference. If you're an impactful player and you're a difference maker on the field, you should get the chance to win the Heisman.
Starting point is 00:52:48 Yeah, I agree with you. Especially looking at this team, both of them are really good candidates. But like you said, when it comes down to the conferences, those coaches are only gonna be able to pick one player. So they're actually working against each other for that Heisman. I'm being honest, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:53:11 When I say I don't know, I just know, and I haven't studied Heisman before this segment, I should have probably did some more homework on it, but how many, what's the record of Heisman winners? When I say that, are they 12 and four, or are they 11 and five? Has anybody with a losing record had a Heisman winning?
Starting point is 00:53:39 Has anybody, pardon me, anybody with a losing record won a Heisman trophy? Not saying that Deon and them is gonna have a losing record, but when it comes to basketball, your team has to at least make the playoffs. You can't have a losing. In the times I've been watching basketball, and I like to compare a lot of things to basketball,
Starting point is 00:53:55 because I think I'm way more knowledgeable on basketball than I am in football, not saying I'm not knowledgeable in football, but I like to do a lot of comparisons. And I don't know anybody with a losing record who ever got an MVP. And that goes for football as well. We don't know MVP in NFL, I should say.
Starting point is 00:54:13 MVPs whose record is, you know, let's say seven, eight and seven or nine, nine and six. You know, I know they put more games into the season the last couple of years, but your team has to be at least over 500 and be going into the playoffs a lot of times to win an MVP in basketball or football professionally. I don't have the knowledge to know any better
Starting point is 00:54:40 as far as college is concerned. What I'll do is, and I'm grown enough to admit that, I'll do some homework and check the last few Heisman winners and see what their team was ranked and where they go in the Rose Bowl championships, et cetera, and see how that works out. But right now I don't have the answer because I haven't done any homework on it.
Starting point is 00:55:00 So to answer your question, only one player won the Heisman while playing on a team with the losing record. His name was Paul, and it's saying that his record was two to eight, and they were outscored by 159 points. The whole thing about it is for the people that can't see, the picture's black and white. The stat is looking at it right now. It's a... What year was that, stat?
Starting point is 00:55:22 1956. Yeah, this is what- Come on, stat. This is what I'm- A stat is a stat. So that's what I'm saying. Y'all wouldn't even know what's going on after I've been looking at the pictures. Yeah, niggas gonna run with that.
Starting point is 00:55:34 My mother was born in 1956, exactly. So to make a long story short, since 1956, it hasn't been somebody who's won the Heisman Trophy with a losing record. There you have it. Okay. So before we close, Maurice, I know you had one more statement question that you had for your rap. Yeah, no, I had to go back to it just to make sure I had it right. No, so I was, this is more serious, like, so I was down at LSU this off season, and obviously I'm down in Ohio State a lot.
Starting point is 00:56:13 And I was just wondering from y'all opinion, man, like, why do y'all believe, I have my own little personal beliefs from hanging around these kids, but why do y'all believe, we're talking to Mason Kam, that younger kids now, I guess, are more mentally fragile than when we all came up. Wow. And let me give context to it, right? As I was sharing my story, sharing my journey with these young dudes,
Starting point is 00:56:38 after I would get done talking to them, like it was just more young dudes who were just like emotionally charged or you know, guys talking about their mental health, their stress and just something I had never seen before just when I came up with sports, right? And then I went to Ohio State and it was pretty much the same thing and guys just talking about the stress of sports, the stress of life and just like a lot more emotionally wired or just more in tune to their emotions, are more visibly showing them than I've ever done and just like a lot more emotionally wired or just more in tune today emotions are
Starting point is 00:57:06 more visibly showing them than I've ever done. And just, you know, as I was writing notes for the show, I just, I don't know if y'all had an opinion on it, you know, or just any thoughts on it. I think one of the reasons is that the lack of, and it sounds like a broken record, but the lack of father figures, the lack of male supervision to the point that when you don't have that male supervision, the child tend to listen to a woman more. That's why even when you get older,
Starting point is 00:57:41 this generation has produced probably more suckers than our generation, even when it comes to dating, because they're so programmed to listening to their mom, which translate when they get older to a girlfriend, they listen to her more than anybody else. And that just produce a different type of man, you know, and I think that's what we're looking at in high value. If they had a... So they don't even know how to take correction most times from a man. So that's why it always goes left.
Starting point is 00:58:12 Because they're not used to talking to a man. They're not used to being corrected by a man. So they don't know how to deal with that. But if a woman's something, it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah, we should do that. Yeah, you do that. And, you know, that gotta be corrected. You calling our kids suckers?
Starting point is 00:58:30 Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. You say we produced the sucker generation? Shit. Shit. Shit.
Starting point is 00:58:44 You sure you don't wanna edit that? No, I'm not saying we did. Oh, all right, all right. I'm not saying our generation did. I'm saying any generation that's highly trained with just one parental guidance lacks a lot of other male qualities that they need. And that's what we're looking at in high volume, you know?
Starting point is 00:59:06 So this is why guys, when something goes wrong, they don't know how to talk to each other. It always goes straight to the gun because they're not used to conflict resolution or you can have your opinion. Your opinion is different than mine. And we could still be in the same room. But, you know, sometime when they watch their moms
Starting point is 00:59:30 not agree with something, walk out, leave, not be there, they tend to have those same traits instead of having a manly trait. For me, Mo, it's two things. It's... First of all, I'm gonna say it's product of your environment. Everybody that I'm cool with, everybody, and we don't fuck with you,
Starting point is 00:59:54 and I'm talking about all my friends, we don't fuck with you if you don't take care of your kids. So whether you live in the same house with your son or daughter's mother, all my friends take care of their kids. We don't even let that slide. And none of my friends, because a lot of us, including myself, grew up without a father. And to me, sometimes because of...
Starting point is 01:00:15 And trying to think how to put this, because my kids or my friends' kids' back isn't against the wall, like my back isn't against the wall. They tend to be a little more, it'll work itself out as opposed to. As opposed to. Optimistic. Yeah, as opposed to,
Starting point is 01:00:35 nigga, there ain't no other way out this shit, man. You know what I'm saying? So I think that sometimes they're like, if this don't work out, I'm still good because they have a, I'm trying to say this the most politest way I can say it. They got an outlet like, yo, my mom got it or my dad may got it, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:01:00 So if I wanna quit, I'll quit. You know what I'm saying? And, uh... More opportunities. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, way more opportunities. As opposed to somebody who may be the same age, like, Mase just said that they want to go to the gardens and do this at the third, because they're not growing up
Starting point is 01:01:18 in a stable environment. Yeah. So I would first say that's first and foremost for me, is being a product of your environment If you growing up in crazy shit and your mother's telling you yo We need food tonight, but I ain't got no money or your brother's a killer your cousin's a killer and there's no other options Then that's what you may turn into not saying that you have to but if you don't have a lot of options like may say yeah, that's what you're into as opposed to when your parents have money
Starting point is 01:01:48 and you may not be going as hard as you wanna go hard because you have more options and you know everything's not gonna be on bag. But my second opinion on this situation is Mo, is that it's the vaccines. Shit, they shooting niggas up when they born, man. It's fucking these niggas up, making them soft. Pause, making them soft, making them think different,
Starting point is 01:02:14 making them weird. Like, I'm tell you right this, right straight up like this, just the vaccines. Because all jokes aside, there's more form of autism now, people on the spectrum, et cetera, et cetera. I'm telling you like this, if you never had the chicken pox, you ain't no real nigga, because they shot you with the shit
Starting point is 01:02:32 for you never to get chicken pox. Chicken pox ain't even been out in, like, 20 years. Or something like that. You know what I'm saying? For somebody who under 20, somebody under 20, you'd be like, the chicken pox, they'll look at you like, it's from 1921 or something. Shit was floating around.
Starting point is 01:02:50 Chicken pox was like some regular shit. If you wasn't around somebody who had chicken pox, or somebody, or you ain't have chicken pox, then you got shot with the vaccine, not to get chicken pox, and you may be a weirdo, and you don't know you're a weirdo. Yeah, this is crazy. I don't care, Murda.
Starting point is 01:03:07 No, I'm in agreement with you. I'm in agreement. At first I was laughing till you brought up autism. Then I was like, oh, he understands. Because in all jokes, it's a little funny, but it's more people on the spectrum after they're getting certain vaccines so you don't get the measles or the chickenpox or whatever, but then that equals out more people on the spectrum after the getting certain vaccines so you don't get the measles or the chickenpox or whatever,
Starting point is 01:03:26 but then that equals out more people on the spectrum. So would you rather have chickenpox for two weeks and be regular or take the vaccine and have the only spectrum? Look at Stat. Stat took the shot. That's why she's looking at you. She don't even know what chickenpox is. We just think different. But let me finish before you tell us your differences.
Starting point is 01:03:53 I really believe in listening to you, Cam, that us as men, we probably have to do more now based upon what I just heard. Because if there's no father figures in the household, and like you said, there's guys being there for their children, but everybody that helped us growing up, they was like, man, you know. It was coaches, it was all type of people
Starting point is 01:04:16 that helped us out. And I think it's our generation time to make time to help those generations. I remember that. But at the same time, Murda, not to cut you off, and I disagree with you, people who helped us out is cause we was helping them out. We was winning games, we was playing basketball.
Starting point is 01:04:41 You know what I'm saying? We was selling, whatever you was a lookout, selling drugs, whatever. Nobody just had a con heart and said, you know what? Let saying? Whether you was a lookout selling drugs, whatever, nobody just had a con heart and said, you know what, let me look out for you. That really wasn't it. Yeah, niggas ain't Bobby Sneakers because we wasn't winning games.
Starting point is 01:04:54 Yeah, exactly. So, I mean, I get what you're saying. And then not only that, it wasn't like niggas was traveling to help us out. This was what was available in our area. So as much as I agree with you, that was the only option we had. It's coming with your differences.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Yeah, my best, yeah. I don't know, like I just feel like vaccine, like if it's approved, if it helps people do what you are comfortable with, okay? That's just how I feel. No, what I'm saying is this is not all fact. This is not scientific fact. But I don't know a lot of people with autism growing up.
Starting point is 01:05:34 And I'm not saying there wasn't people with autism, but it's running rampant. There's a lot now and there's no chickenpox. So people say, Cam's ignorant. He don't know what he talking about. Just that third. I'm just saying, if you probably do a number check as opposed to that shit, I'm just telling you,
Starting point is 01:05:48 that's just my opinion. So you think they fixed one thing and messed up something else. My opinion, my opinion. Yeah, that's what he's basically saying. It's not that the vaccine didn't work for some, but it messed up a lot of other things. That's what he's saying, I'm not saying this.
Starting point is 01:06:02 I completely understand what he's saying and I understand what you're saying. We all three just think differently. OK, you don't think there's any truth to any of what we're saying? Um, it's not that there's no truth, because your truth is your truth. No, there's your truth, then there's a truth.
Starting point is 01:06:17 Yeah. And then the truth. Yeah. And I guess we'll find that out as time goes on. But we're going to end it on that note Maurice Thank you for being here Appreciate you miss you man. Happy you back Okay, glad to be back brothers and step my girl
Starting point is 01:06:39 Okay, that's all the time that we have for today. Thanks for watching. And as always, it is what it is. Stay well, I said. Thanks for watching!
