I'm Treasure Wilson, aka Stat Baby, along with your hosts Mace and Cam. Merlo, what up, man? Killer, what's good, man? Hey, shit, how you doing? You all right? I'm chilling, man. What's up, man? Good to see both good, man? Hey, shit, how you doing? You all right? I'm chilling, man. What's up, man? Good to see both of y'all, man.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Yeah. Statt, how you doing? I'm feeling great. I'm actually feeling phenomenal. For real? On top of the world. What did they make? Gizzards for you?
Starting point is 00:01:17 Gizzards? I don't eat gizzards. You don't eat gizzards? You eat gizzards? No. Do you eat gizzards? You said you was from Jacksonville, so. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Family do. I don't. Oh, okay. Get off that. Killer. They normally say they feeling good. They have some good gizzards. All right.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Do you eat gizzards? No. You from Jacksonville? Don't try to put it on me. We both from the same city. Hmm. Okay. So starting off with a great topic today guys the heat beat the celtics 111 to 101 to tie the series jimmy butler got to trolling on instagram and mocked the celtics by posting an old jalen brown quote that said don't let us get one but instead put his face on the picture of
Starting point is 00:02:04 jalen brown so thoughts on the picture of Jalen Brown. So thoughts on the game and then Jimmy Butler trolling, although he's not playing. Well, I'll start by saying exactly what I asked about happened. I said, could Tyler Hero do it? And he did. What a way to start, right? I mean, he had 24, 14 points, and they ended up taking the game.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Well, I didn't think he was able to do it, but I did ask the question. I wanted to troll Cam a little bit. You know, Cam, did you think that he was going to get this much? Say what you got to say, bro. Well, Cam, according to the records, the last 10 times we picked on Underdog Fantasy, I've actually been 50%. You've been over about nine. That's a lie because fewer than we picked the same thing.
Starting point is 00:02:56 That's totally a lie. A couple days, we actually had the same picture. You're coming in here with your own stats. I don't know who's doing your stats. If Meat Paws pulled pulling some light from your team doing your stats, I could go to analytics. Nick said that, Nick set me up. Yeah, Nick said, yo Mase, you have-
Starting point is 00:03:12 Nick doing what's best for the show. He's trying, he's trying. We picked, man. Yo Mase, go out there. We picked a lot of the same shit, I'm not even feeding into that. Come on, Nick. Put the camera on Nick, Nick.
Starting point is 00:03:24 See, Nick, this is where the bonus pause goes, Nick. I was right? Yeah, he said I was right. Thank you, Nick. Nick, I wasn't right? What was the exact numbers? Listen, if you want. Well, let's wait until Nick comes in here because I don't have time for this today.
Starting point is 00:03:45 I really don't have time. I really don't. I really don't. Face is five and four. And Cam, you were oh and nine. Oh and nine and we picked the same thing? He said when you don't pick what the expert picks, you're oh and nine. When you go against what I tell you on this show, you're oh and nine.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Honestly, bump both of that. Use code STAT because everybody said the other day that he had no chance of winning this game versus the Celtics without Jimmy Butler, and exactly that happened. I'll let you finish before I finish. So if you're watching this If you're
Starting point is 00:04:27 Watching this Take my pics and use Code camp And you're gonna be at the finals You know Killer That's what my uncle told me today He said if I had your money With my brain
Starting point is 00:04:42 I said what He said if I had your money with my brain. I said, what? He said, if I had your money with my brain, we can do a lot. You can go snap, y'all. Yeah, so I just feel like the Celtics are, even though I did have them, you know, at the beginning of the season, I just feel like they're very inconsistent.
Starting point is 00:05:03 And we kind of knew this, but like seeing it now, yes, it's only game two. We can't keep seeing this from a team, especially if Jason Tatum wants to say, I'm going to take over the league eventually. We need to see you take over in the games. This is not the time to be flopping. And it's not that he had a bad game, but the team chemistry just in general, this Miami team should not be winning this game. And this is coming from a Heat fan.
Starting point is 00:05:27 I can have an unbiased standpoint to say that. You think they should not be winning the game? The Celtics had no reason to not win this game. We should not be able to make that many open threes. And we don't even have Jimmy Butler. And we don't even have Rozier. So it doesn't make sense to me that the Celtics are going to be winning Celtics. Yes. When you have Porzingis playing the way he did, I think he had about nine points,
Starting point is 00:05:50 six points. If Porzingis have six and, and what's the other guy, Drew Holiday has eight points or nine points. Yeah. Yeah. They supposed to win. No,
Starting point is 00:06:04 but that's what I'm saying. That's unacceptable. That should not be happening. Like, there's no reason. Like, there's no excuse for it. They have a healthy team. Miami does not. There's no reason why the Celtics should lose.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Guess who had the most points on Boston? Oh, Batman? The guy I said that was the Batman of the team. So, listen, everyone. Take my picks. Use code Kim. That's how we're going to work this today. What would you like to say, Killer?
Starting point is 00:06:33 This is exactly why I'm sitting over here. I don't want to be a part of nothing. This is exactly why I'm not even at the desk. Because y'all are from Jacksonville. Y'all eat gizzards. Use code. I've been right the whole time. Stat says, I'm going for the Celtics, but the Miami Heat is the safety net.
Starting point is 00:06:51 She didn't start off like this. You've been around him too long, and now that's what's going on. All of y'all have safety nets. Jalen Brown being the Batman, you see where it gets him being the Batman. Nowhere. He tries to be Batman, and it doesn't work, and I'm sick of it. That's why I'm sitting over here. I don't want to be a part of the Floridian desk.
Starting point is 00:07:12 I told niggas to set me up away. For people that don't know, this is my camera. I'm in the studio with them. I just choose not to be about people who keep a safety net or fence jumpers. That's what they are. They're actually fence jumpers, and they keep safety nets, so no matter who wins, they win. And I don't want to be a part of it.
Starting point is 00:07:30 I'm from Harlem. My social security says so. So this is exactly why I'm not sitting next to them today, because they both have safety nets. If Boston would have won today, I would have been like, I did say Boston was going to pull it off, but you know I'm the heat. But y'all keep safety nets.
Starting point is 00:07:51 I didn't want to be a part of it. Mace comes in. Who did I say is Batman? Batman got their ass kicked being Batman. He needs to settle down and be Robin, like I said. Now, using the code Ken with Mace's information, you're still with a loss because they did not win.
Starting point is 00:08:07 But for the people that's watching us, the reason I'm not sitting over there with them today is because of this game in particular. I knew they would come in with bullshit. I knew Stat picked Miami to win yesterday, but if Boston would have won, she would have had, well, you know, I did say Boston, and now they come in with gizzards.
Starting point is 00:08:25 You didn't even see what happened before the show. All this Jacksonville shit and Florida shit. I'm from Harlem. My social security says so. You check their social security?
Starting point is 00:08:35 Says Jacksonville. What's your first street number? Tell them the first street number. If you're from New York City, if you're born, it's 062. And that's just known if you're in between
Starting point is 00:08:42 the 70s and 80s, that's just New York. I know that's not known in between the 70s and 80s. Oh, that's just New York. I know that's not yours, Murda. We talked about it. So at the end of the day, fine. Now let's get to the Boston Celtics. There's a great game by the Miami Heat.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Boston, this is why people have no faith in y'all. Because y'all niggas choke pause in moments like this. And they're saying they choke y'all pause, but there's no reason y'all should have lost this game
Starting point is 00:09:03 at home. At home. With no Jimmy Butler. And I feel Jimmy the choke job pause, but there's no reason y'all should have lost this game at home. At home. With no Jimmy Butler. And I feel Jimmy Butler for trolling, because he like, nigga, if I was there, you know what would have fucking happened? We would have killed y'all niggas. So I dig Jimmy Butler for trolling, and I understand. But this is, see, me and Kevin Durant, shout out to Kevin Durant, that's my nigga.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And last year, we had a conversation when they was eliminated from the playoffs. And he was like, who you think going on the East? And I forget who I picked, but I said, it's not the Celtics. He's like, Cam, you're out your fucking mind. The Celtics is gone. And I said, they're going to choke. They're going to choke. Me and Kevin Durant had this conversation in his house.
Starting point is 00:09:43 I said, they're going to choke. They're not going to win. He's like, Cam, you're out your fucking mind. Them niggas is gone. And they choke. Come here, Kevin Durant had this conversation in his house. I said, they gonna choke. They not gonna. He's like, Cam, you out your fucking mind. Them niggas is gone. And they choke. Pause. This is why people don't believe in y'all, Boston. Now I think this is just a minor slip up and y'all should get it together.
Starting point is 00:09:56 But there's no reason y'all should have lost. And this is the reason I'm actually not at the desk today with them because of this game. So congratulations to the people with the safety net, the fence jumpers, the switch siders, to no matter who wins, I win type of people. I don't want to be a part of it today. Yeah. I hear that, but I also feel like I can confidently say
Starting point is 00:10:18 I have been rocking with the same team. Yes, I said at the beginning, like the Celtics had the best chance, but I definitely said like that sickens me being this is exactly what i'm talking about i just have to clarify that like i wouldn't even go back and forth because i don't want the celtics to win and i feel like i made that very clear but i still have to be unbiased based on what's happening in the game i feel like from day one from day one of us filming i've always always been with the heat. So for me, this is just great.
Starting point is 00:10:45 This is just lovely. It's just so convenient. I'm kind of siding with Cam right now. Yeah, she's spinning like a hula hoop. You see she wore a red shirt with a black tank top. Yeah, she's wearing shit as well, man. It's subtle. It's subtle.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Yeah, I see it. It's very subtle. This is full-blown red. Yeah, because Miami won. Yeah, exactly, man. I've never seen that shirt before. Yeah, I don't want to be a part of it, so y'all enjoy. Y'all have fun.
Starting point is 00:11:10 This is exactly why I'm not sitting over there for people that want to know why I'm not sitting over there today. I don't want to be a part of the Floridian Swiss side. The Floridian Swiss side. Yeah, that sounds like a team. If you think about it, are they really supposed to be losing at this point? No, but it seemed like the whole East Coast, the top two teams, even when it comes to the Sixers, remember their thing was trust the process.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Just everybody's not right now. Everybody is so not urgent. Now you got Boston when he was saying that, you know, we got time, we got time, we got time. So it seems like everybody on the East Coast is not thinking about winning right now.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Is there anybody that you feel like is right now type of energy? It looks like the Knicks are the team trying to win right now. Now there goes Nick. It looks like the New York Kn the team trying to win right now. Now there goes Nick. It looked like the New York Knicks are trying to win right now. New York Knicks. Wow.
Starting point is 00:12:13 This is what I'm talking about. I never thought I'd have to say this, but they look like the team that's trying to win right now. Hello? Hello? What's up? I know we was going over analytics last Friday. How much money has people won on Underdog Fantasy using Code Camp?
Starting point is 00:12:30 Probably like over $7 million. I'll hit you right back. Thank you. Appreciate it. How much you said? $7 million. Over $7 million on Code Camp. So if you want to choose, Code Stat, Code Mace, I do the analytics before
Starting point is 00:12:48 I tell you about Code Cam. Over seven million dollars on underdog fitness has been won. So that means my number must be way higher than that. That's all you just said. I'm glad you got him on the phone. No, no. You know who's doing your numbers? Nick. That's who's doing your numbers. He got such a bad straight. Cam had all this set up. Only $7 million using cold Cam on Underdog Fantasy. I don't have to do nothing but make a call.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Use cold Cam. I'm asking you to use cold Cam. I just believe Cam staged this whole thing. What he's basically trying to say, he came in with this whole spill, I'ma sit on this side, I'ma call you. When I call you, nigga, you know what they say, right? That's a usual Harlem nigga though. Yo, I'ma call you, nigga.
Starting point is 00:13:37 And when I call you, seven million, nigga. Yo, first of all, first of all, first of all, let me tell you something. I didn't know we was going to talk about using code anything. So how about stage the call coming in? I didn't know that we was going to motherfucking talk about using code cam or anything. We just talking about analytics. You brought it up. I'm not going to lie, though.
Starting point is 00:14:01 That is a Harlem nigga. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to call you a nigga when I call you. Yeah, that is the benefit. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. Usually he's correct. Yeah, but you just called Cam. If they're winning that much money, you just called Cam.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Yeah, man. This is great. Wow, what a night. Everything is just hilarious to me today. Every man for himself, that's wow. What a night. Everything is just hilarious. No facts. You speak to me begun. Every man for himself. That was prodigy,
Starting point is 00:14:34 right? Yeah. Every man for himself. Yeah. Recipe is prodigy. Mob deep. Wow. Well,
Starting point is 00:14:42 one last thing I do want to add regarding the heat. Tyler really did his thing. He had 24 points, 14 assists, and five rebounds. I know previously he had a lot of injuries. I think that this was just the best opportunity for him, especially because, you know, I wouldn't expect it to happen, but his name has been thrown out in a lot of trade rumors and stuff like that. So this is to show, like, he can hold his own even without Jimmy.
Starting point is 00:15:04 So shout out Tyler Hero. Jaime did his thing too. So it was just a good core. I don't know what's going to happen next game. Triple J. You back on the Triple J train. Yeah, like no, he plays really well. Like he helps out our team a lot.
Starting point is 00:15:17 But I'm just satisfied with this one win, okay, because I did call it even though everybody told me it wasn't going to happen. So I'm just, you know, feeling great about that. Yes, I, now I got to go back and repost the clip. I definitely stamped and called it when y'all told me no. So I want to make that clear. You said it's still a chance. That's calling it.
Starting point is 00:15:38 I said there's a very big chance. No, that's OJN. You can't, OJN. No, I said, I don't remember what I said exactly, but I'm opposed to Cliff because I literally used this last time. She said it's a real big chance. That don't even sound like what you said. I don't even want to verify with Nick right now.
Starting point is 00:15:54 It's a very big chance. That sounds phony. Yo, it's a big chance. I don't remember what I said exactly. Now you don't remember. Okay. You know what? This is an interrogation room for minutes to decide.
Starting point is 00:16:07 You know you done fucked up. In real life. You know you done fucked up. I said it was a big chance. Yeah, I said it was a big chance. It was a big chance. Wow. Exactly what I said.
Starting point is 00:16:15 But this is a great way to start off the show. You're unraveling. I knew it was starting for me and I didn't want to be a part of it. So that's why I'm set up over here. I don't even want to be over there. Got it. Y'all enjoy it. Northern Florida, huh?
Starting point is 00:16:27 Y'all enjoy up there. Oh, and then the last question regarding the game. So the Heat had a franchise playoff record of 23 threes. Yeah. What do you guys think about that stat and then being able to do that against Boston? That's really phenomenal. I think the record was about 20,
Starting point is 00:16:47 and 21 when they was playing against was that the milwaukee bucks i remember that game um for them to get 23 without jimmy butler is not just the greatest part because when you think of um what's the guy named Martin, he came in and got five or six threes. So he had 25% of those threes. That is really phenomenal because not only was it not with Butler, but it was also with players that are newly to the team and people that are new contributors. So I thought that was real phenomenal. Do it again. That's where y'all was real phenomenal. Do it again.
Starting point is 00:17:27 That's where y'all gonna went, do it again nigga. Y'all Golden State, do it again nigga, go ahead. Let's see how it happen the next game. Make another one. Yeah, do it again, make another one. I don't give a fuck, do it again. If you wanna impress me, do it again, then we can start talking about it.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Have a good night. Then why you don't bring him up? He did his thing. Who? Martin. Caleb Martin? No, he did, for sure, but I'm highlighting Tyler because I think that he made the best performance in this game.
Starting point is 00:17:55 I just think that the Heat being able to make that many threes is a problem. I hope – I'm not even going to say I hope. Celtics really need to make some adjustments because that's just not okay in a series like this. It's just not. My thing is this. When I played basketball and we played against a team and they best player or two didn't show up,
Starting point is 00:18:14 it wasn't even about what was a close game. You know what would have happened if we lose to a team? And I know the NBA is not amateur basketball. I get it. Any night, anybody can beat anybody. But when we play Young Life and Mason Marquis not there, it's a field day. Yeah, it is. Yeah, it's a field.
Starting point is 00:18:36 There's no way that the Odie and them niggas, no disrespect to Odie, and them niggas is going to beat us. It's just not going to happen. Now, I give Nate a little more. Nate was my name. Nate was like, Odie and them niggas is gonna beat us. It's just not gonna happen. Now, I give Nate a little more, Nate was my, Nate was like, Odie and them niggas, the C-Team, y'all not beating us? We would just lick our chops poor, so to speak, and be like, oh, well, if we don't win by 30, it's a problem.
Starting point is 00:18:57 It's a problem. Yeah, if they dies, they die. Yeah, yeah, because if you don't win, you might get cut. That's what happens in situations where I used to play. You don't take games off because the best niggas ain't there. You embarrass them. That's what we would do. Yeah, and especially that's a rivalry team.
Starting point is 00:19:14 That's not, this is not just any team. This is Miami Heat. This is a team that's noted for coming back in the playoffs. So you got to get rid of them fast. Okay, and then the Thunder got an easy win against the Pelicans. for coming back in the playoffs. So you got to get rid of them fast. Okay. And then the Thunder got an easy win against the Pelicans, 124-92. Do you guys think the Pelicans can kiss any chance of a win goodbye or is there still hope?
Starting point is 00:19:40 First game was good. This game was kind of a block. It seemed like the Pelicans are only going to go as far as a healthy Zion could take them. Zion not playing is a problem. And it was sad to watch him go out that day because I was like, fuck, this nigga was balling against LeBron last time we seen him play. But as far as the Pelicans winning the series, I doubt it without a Zion. And right now they may be in too
Starting point is 00:20:07 deep of a hole. If you get Zion back next game and we see what happens, possibly. But we've seen SGA the candidate for league MVP this season on display last night. That's what we've seen. We've seen that
Starting point is 00:20:23 MVP performance from SGA. Chet did what he was supposed to do. And New Orleans just looked too weak for them. Brandon Ingram doesn't look like he's back in full swing. I know you can't dictate injuries and when you can play and when you cannot play, but it would have been better if he had maybe eight, nine games under his belt leading into the playoffs. Right now it's looking like he's trying to get back into basketball shape
Starting point is 00:20:50 or basketball condition or chemistry with the team while the playoffs are going on, and I don't think that's going to cut it going on against OKC. Yeah. One of the things that I thought about was even when SGA talked about how you could tell him and his teammates hang out. Remember, I was just saying that the other day that you could tell with this with the team. I think it was the Suns that I was saying they don't hang out. Yeah. And now we look at this when you're looking at a team like SGA and Chet. They want to win, and they want to win for each other.
Starting point is 00:21:29 They don't just want to win for themselves. They want to win for each other. I think this team is really powerful. I don't think they're going to beat Minnesota, but I think this game, they did what they were supposed to do with no Zion, like Cam said last time. If the star player is not there, whatever he would score is how much we should beat y'all by if he's not present.
Starting point is 00:21:53 And another thing I'm thinking about, when you got Shea and you got Chet combining for 60 points, there's no way to beat them. And if that kid Giddy get a jump shot, they're going to be a championship team. But I want to go on record, they will not be a championship team until Giddy get a jump shot. They're not going to be able to beat anybody because the better teams are going to double down
Starting point is 00:22:17 on Shea and make Chuck hit the jump. I meant Giddy hit the jump shot. Okay. So now we're going to go over NBA awards. We have the list of finalists. Some were announced. Let's start with MVP. So right now the finalists are Luka, SGA, and Jokic.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Yeah. Do you guys have a pick? I know it's going to be, you know, they want Joker to win it, but I really would like to see Luka win it that's who I would be rooting for to win MVP who would you be rooting for Killer and who you think will win it
Starting point is 00:22:54 I ain't rooting for none of them niggas I don't really care about rooting for a nigga it ain't like my man but if I had to root I guess I'd go with Luka because our family coach is down there. But who do I think's gonna win? That's a great question.
Starting point is 00:23:10 I think they're gonna give it to the Joker, but my answer would be SGA. Simply because nobody at the beginning of the season, nobody, and whoever bet on that, I know they up like a duck, is for Oklahoma City to finish first in the Western Conference. So we talked about Phoenix. We talked about Denver.
Starting point is 00:23:32 We talked about what the Lakers could possibly do. We talked about Golden State. We knew that SGA was coming off a first team all-NBA season last year. But to have Oklahoma City losing Kevin Durant, losing James Harden, losing Russell Westbrook, losing Carmelo Anthony, losing Paul George, losing Chris Paul. Is Chris Paul there?
Starting point is 00:23:55 Yeah. Losing all these superstars and to do it with a young core. And Oladipo. Yes, right. And to do it with such a young core, to come in first in the western conference to me is a big deal so me personally if i had a vote i would give it to sda but i think they're gonna give it to luca but if it was up to me i would go with okay and then finalists for the
Starting point is 00:24:18 defensive player of the year is bam rudy gobert and wby. Who do you guys think is going to win this one? That would be really dope for Wemby to win rookie of the year and defensive player of the year. I think he would be in some great company, but definitely. If he wins defensive player of the year, that would put him with Tim Duncan and David Robertson. And I think that's the story they're trying to paint. So I wouldn't be surprised if they try to give him both, but I don't think he wins it.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I think Rudy Gobert. I'm going to say Rudy Gobert as well. I think that's the agenda that they're trying to push as well, that they're trying to give it to Wimby so he can have all these accolades being that he's not playing and he only came off a 15-win game season, if I'm not mistaken, 14 or 15 wins. I think they're trying to make him be that nigga.
Starting point is 00:25:16 And he's really good. Team didn't do really well. But I would give it to Rudy Gobert as well. Back to it helps your team out. You got to think about it. Carl Anthony Towns missed a lot of time this year due to injury, meniscus tear, which takes months to get back into recovery. I know Ant-Man did what he was supposed to do, and Rudy Gobert was there the whole time,
Starting point is 00:25:36 and they finished third. Between first and third, between Denver, OKC, and Minnesota, it was only a game apart or two between all three of those teams. So I would give it to the team and the player on that team that contributed the most defensively with the higher ranking at the end of the season, and that would be Rudy Gobert for me. Okay. And then we kind of briefly discussed it before with Anthony Davis. Knowing the finalists, you guys still don't think he belongs on that list? No, not for me.
Starting point is 00:26:12 No. When you got Joker hitting threes over him and him looking in the air like that, I think it was that look right there that made me say. Yeah, they tried to put a highlight reel today. I was surfing the web with all his block shots. And everybody highlight reel look good. When you make a highlight reel, that's what it's for.
Starting point is 00:26:35 It's to look good as your highlights. So, no, he wouldn't be on my list either. No, I'm wearing Laker yellow, but no. Fair. Okay, and then the winneraker yellow, but no. Fair. Okay, and then the winner of most improved player was Tyrese Maxey. Do you guys think that was deserved, or do you think it should have went to someone else? Yeah, definitely, definitely.
Starting point is 00:26:54 When you go from being like a third option to averaging about 27 points on a premier team in the Eastern Conference, that's definitely noteworthy and should be not the sixth man of the year, but the most improved player. I would say, usually say yes. And the way he's looking in the playoffs, absolutely, he looks phenomenal. But all these awards are based upon the regular season, and I would definitely say he would be a close, close, close, close second
Starting point is 00:27:28 on my list behind Jalen Brunson. I would have gave it to Jalen Brunson. The Knicks came in the second seed. A lot of injuries. Julius Randle isn't there. He put the Knicks on his back. Something that a lot of superstars wasn't able to do previously before him getting there.
Starting point is 00:27:46 But if it was my vote, it would be Tyrese Maxey, close, close second, but I would have gave it to Jalen Brunson. Jalen Brunson finished the season averaging 28.2 points a game, got the Knicks to the second seed in the East. This is another team that we would have said absolutely not would have finished in second place in the East. So I feel Tyrese Maxey, and I think he's well-deserving of it, but if you're asking Cam's opinion, I would have gave it to Jalen Brunson.
Starting point is 00:28:11 Yeah, I wouldn't be thinking about it like that. I thought, what's his name, Jalen Brunson had a decent year last year, and not that he had a better year than Tyrese Maxey I look at it more like he came from a further a further distance than than um Jalen Brunson but I would I wouldn't be mad with that that um assessment or that award okay and then rookie of the year finalist Chet Brandon Miller and Wemby what do you guys think about that? Who do you think will win it? Well, we know who's going to win.
Starting point is 00:28:49 It's a matter if we want to talk about the synopsis of the difference because Wemby is definitely going to win Rookie of the Year. There is absolutely no way that Adam Silver lets this go any different way. I mean, could you see Chet winning Rookie of the Year? I want him to. I would vote for Chet, but I don't see it happening. Yeah, I would vote for Chet too. But I think this storyline is already made,
Starting point is 00:29:19 and they're just walking it out. They want him to have Rookie of the Year. They would definitely want him to have rookie of the year. And if they could throw defensive player of the year in there, that would be phenomenal as well. Yeah, me personally, I mean, I'm not mad at Wimby. He doesn't have the team that Chet had, but you don't get first place without Chet.
Starting point is 00:29:39 Yeah. He got 20 and 10. But I think if you put Chet on that San Antonio team, he would average 20 and 10. But I think if you put Chet on that San Antonio team, he would average 20 and 10. And the winner of sixth man of the year is Nas Reed. What do you guys think about him winning? I didn't know much about him until I did research on this particular award. And it seemed like he was a person that went unnoticed, undrafted,
Starting point is 00:30:11 so I'm always cheering for people who are like underdogs and they come up. And I think this has a lot to do with why Minnesota is so dominant right now. They got a player in at their length. They're ranked in every award, it seems like. So it says a lot about their team. Also, real quick, to jump back to the MVP conversation, I would have Anthony Edwards in the conversation as well, even though he's not a player.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Oh, yeah. But definitely would have him in the conversation. Look, like Mase said, I didn't know much about him. I didn't want to sit here and do a bunch of homework and act like I did know about him, even though I could have. But congratulations. Minnesota did have a phenomenal year, too. So I'll start paying more attention.
Starting point is 00:31:00 That's the most I can say. But congratulations on the award. Yeah. Okay. Finalists for NBA Clutch Player of the Year, Steph Curry, DeMar DeRozan, and SGA. Clutch Player of the Year? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Yo, Steph is really nice, but he missed a lot in the clutch. I don't think people recognize how many times he missed in the clutch. So I'm going to go with SGA. Even though he's a phenomenal shooter. I wish I would have studied on this topic a little more because I would like to see the numbers, how they came to this conclusion, the most clutch. And so as much as you could say
Starting point is 00:31:47 DeMar DeRozan is really good, the Bulls was in 10th, did he fucking have a clutch? A lot of clutch performances? I don't know. I didn't watch a lot of the Bulls. You know, Zach Levine missing,
Starting point is 00:32:00 Ball Brothers not there, of course. I'm not going to say in cap act like I watched a lot of balls. Steph is my favorite, but how clutch could he be from home right now? Yeah. And this has nothing to do with his career moving forward. Previously, all the years that he's been working.
Starting point is 00:32:26 So to tell the truth, I don't really have an answer. Whoever wins, good luck to you because Steph is out. DeMar DeRozan, I didn't really watch a lot of. And who was the last one? SGA. SGA, yeah. I don't know his clutch. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:38 I'm not going to say anything. I don't know how he is in the clutch. When I consider clutch, I'm talking about game winning shots, points under 30 seconds go ahead wins etc I'll have to do more due diligence on that and I will let you know but if you ask me off the top of my head I'm going to go with SGA just because his team is doing better but that has nothing to do with what the award is about yeah so for the awards clutch time is just defined as the final five minutes of the fourth quarter or overtime when the score is within five points so that's how they're determining it
Starting point is 00:33:11 let us know what y'all think in the comments and then last one NBA coach of the year we got OKC's coach Timberwolves coach and the Orlando Magics coach this is the hardest this is the hardest um one to go with because we like like we were talking about earlier and cam stated that and spearheaded that conversation about how far okc came so that that that is a testament to the coach but then you got min, a team that's looking phenomenal, and I don't think I've ever seen a Minnesota team like this good or with this many wins. Come on, Murdo. What Minnesota team? Kevin Garnett.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Took them to the Western Conference Finals. I was there. I actually went to the game. Yeah, you're right. But they wasn't this good. They was in the Western conference finals. They have to get to the Western conference finals to at least match that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:12 I get what you're saying. This is on the world. Yeah, you're right. With the new hotness. KG, KG, my bad. You with the new hotness, man. I'm a guy. You're right.
Starting point is 00:34:22 KG. I was actually there. My apology, KG. Sam Cassell, KG, and them niggas, man. Yeah, you're right. KG. I was actually there. My apology, KG. Yeah, Sam Cassell, KG, and them niggas, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Stop going with the new hotness that quick, man. Yeah, yeah, Malik, silly and all that. Yeah, you got to chill out, bro.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Yeah, I get stupid hanging out with Sin City. Yeah, man. Drinking the fruit punch with Sin City. Yeah, do you? This is what happens. Yeah, man. You forget about niggas, yo. New hotness is wild, bro.
Starting point is 00:34:48 These ain't even got the first round yet. That's how the young niggas be, though. They forget niggas. They like, yo, I'll never remember seeing this guy. Yeah, that's what's up. Maybe somebody don't know that stuff. Yeah, but you know, so that's why I got to pull your coattail for us. You're wilding right now.
Starting point is 00:35:03 You off the cliff right now. Yeah, hold on, man. But Orlando, Orlando, you know, I would go with OKC. I would go with OKC as my winner. My winner would be OKC as well. Mark, I don't know how to pronounce his last name. But I would go be OKC as well. Mark, I don't know how to pronounce his last name. But I would go with OKC, but the other two candidates wouldn't even be up there.
Starting point is 00:35:31 Maybe Minnesota's coach, possibly. But I would definitely, my second place would be Tom Thibodeau. Injury on top of injury on top of injury. You're figuring out teams, you're figuring out conversations, combinations. You can point to me all you want. I didn't-
Starting point is 00:35:46 I didn't- You're sneaking back to being a Knicks fan. That's what it sounds like. No, I'm calling it like I see it. I'm just, whatever. I'm not saying I don't like the Knicks. I'm tired of being disappointed. That's all I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:35:55 But if I'm giving credit where credit is due, look, if you have all these injuries, Julius Randle been missing for months. The center's been out in and out the lineup all year long. OG Ananobi, he gets from Toronto, comes to the Knicks, gets there, he's hurt. Then you gotta figure out these combinations and the chemistry and so on and so forth.
Starting point is 00:36:15 For them to finish in second place, you have to give Tom Thibodeau a lot of credit. So for me, he would be second place, but OKC's coach would be first. Okay, all you Knicks fans, go in the comments and let us know, is Cam trying to come home? It's fine with me because at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:36:34 all I got to do is pull out my clips. I just performed a halftime when the Knicks was in the playoffs, advanced to the second round. I did the halftime show, going crazy from the skybox. Disappointment, disappointment again next year. And now I'm just gonna be calm about it.
Starting point is 00:36:52 Not gonna jump off the legend. I'm not gonna let Mase entice me to say something that I don't wanna say. I'm not gonna do that. Not feeding him. I've known the nigga 30, 40 years. I'm not gonna do that. I'm not feeding him. I've known the nigga 30, 40 years.
Starting point is 00:37:04 That's what I'm doing. It's just, follow me. I tried, New York. I tried to make him a Nick man. I'm wearing my Nick jersey, because I have a custom-made Nick jersey that we sold. We sold out in three minutes. It's a different brand of Nick jersey.
Starting point is 00:37:22 I get you one too, brother. I do business with the Nick. You have a Nick jersey. Don't you have a jersey? the Magnet. I get you one too, brother. I do business with the Knicks. You have a Knick jersey. Don't you have a jersey? Yeah, yeah. I have a Knick jersey, sir. Act like we don't do business with the Knicks. Well, in the comments, let us know what you guys think about the finalists
Starting point is 00:37:37 and the winners. We're going to go to break. When we return, we will talk about Reggie Bush. Don't go anywhere. Poor years of counting Got you feeling like an option Maybe I'm my own problem, babe She tired of hearing, I don't know What's happening, me won't fall Dealing with this thing called trust
Starting point is 00:38:19 But she ain't really thinking about it She wanna be free. Why am I in this woman? She wanna be free. Hell, I don't wanna see her walk away. I wish somebody told me the rules. Disagreements let her win. Then it's cool. Even when I'm right, this ain't about you. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Now let's get into our Underdog Fantasy picks of the day. Tonight, the Cavs will play the magic. Underdog Fantasy has Donovan Mitchell at seven first quarter points. Do you have him higher or lower, Mace? Hmm. It go to rally, Cam. Seven points. I'm going pause lower.
Starting point is 00:39:05 I'm going to go higher. Okay. Paulo Banqueiro is at 23.5 points. Do you have him higher or lower, Cam? 22. I'm going to go lower. I don't like the way he's been looking in the playoffs. Higher.
Starting point is 00:39:19 Okay. That was – you were ready for that one. Okay. And Jalen Suggs is at 3.5 rebounds. Do you have him higher or lower, Mace? for that one. Okay. And Jalen Suggs is at three and a half rebounds. Do you have him higher or lower at Mace? Higher. Higher. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:29 Download the Underdog Fantasy app and you can make your picks too. So it looks like Reggie Bush is getting his Heisman trophy back after 14 years because of enormous changes in the college football landscape. Bush will also be invited to all future Heisman ceremonies. What do you guys think of the decision made by the Heisman Trust? Maybe y'all will see what's going on there in America. Johnny Manziel leads the charge to get Reggie Bush. If Colin Kaepernick would have advocated for him to get his motherfucking trophy back,
Starting point is 00:40:09 he wouldn't have got his trophy back. Pure white man says, give that man his shit back. And now he gets his shit back. And now he can show up to all the picnics. Yeah, and everything. Now he can eat chicken with the rest of the trophy winners. Yeah, once a nigga boycott. See, what happened is, my opinion, I know we talked about on the show maybe a month
Starting point is 00:40:26 or so ago. I've never really looked into it after we talked about it on the show. But just from our conversations on the show, I'm taking it as once niggas start boycotting all these Heisman awards and ceremonies and picnics and brunches and whatever else the fuck was going on, the Heisman people who run the committee organization, whatever it is, was like, nah, we can't have so-and-so missing, so-and-so missing.
Starting point is 00:40:56 The big name Heismans was threatening not to come. Led by Johnny Manziel. White man does it again. Mm-mm-mm. Mm-mm-mm. Mm-mm-mm. I'm not surprised, though. I knew that was going to happen with Johnny Manziel. But I would be more happy when they let the Fat Five get their banners back since we're putting everything back in perspective.
Starting point is 00:41:21 And now we know that players can make money through college. Give Fat five their banner back yeah i agree with that okay and now so yannis explained that he signed with nike over adidas because adidas was hesitant to give the nases a contract too he's they he said that they told him we are not going to sign your brother today. You're going to sign yours first, and then we're going to bring your brother in a week to sign his.
Starting point is 00:41:50 And he said, no, thank you. And then as far as his relations with Nike, he told them, when you take me, you take my family, my brother, my mom. And she was like, yeah, sure, whatever. And then after that, they've been with Nike, and they've been on his side ever since what do you think about his logic and then the conversations that were had the mom get a sneaker
Starting point is 00:42:11 deal too is crazy this is this is crazy i i like it though pause i i really i support it. I support it. If Giannis is able to get his brother a deal, his mother a deal, and his cousin a deal, I mean, this is going to start being a regular thing. They better get used to it. They're so used to athletes leaving their friends and leaving their families and celebrities, period, to be famous, that now he's saying you got to take everybody that come with me is a phenomenal feat. It speaks to the leverage that he has.
Starting point is 00:42:50 And for the guys that thought they were going to be able to sign Giannis, who is that, Adidas, and then tell him he's going to sign his contract today and you're going to sign his brother later on, that sounds like the music industry. You go in there with a group, they're like, no, we're going to sign his brother later on. That sounds like the music industry. You go in there with a group. They're like, no, we're going to do your deal today. Tomorrow, we still working on that, but we got to do this because this is going to help us do that.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Thank you, Giannis, for not falling for that. I had to jump off the topic. Didn't sound like that. How'd that go with Fabio? Like some double back, there was a there was a group somebody had doubled back and you just saw one person when you said that it reminded me it's kind of reverse of what happened though yeah yeah group and then they doubled back how did that With Fabio, how did that happen? Well, I actually had a group of guys that were all going to get signed.
Starting point is 00:43:52 So it was one kid named JD. He was going to sign. Fabio had just signed. And then there was another kid named D-Sap. So everybody was going to get a deal. But somehow, I'm not saying Favi did this, but somebody said, don't sign with the deal that Mase is telling you to come up there and sign. Because he was going to get, I think, like $50,000, and then his man was going to get $25,000.
Starting point is 00:44:17 And the guy was like, don't sign it. Because he thought he was going to be able to sign, I guess, with Favi later or something like that. I don't sign it. Because he thought he was going to be able to sign, I guess, with 5E later or something like that. I don't know for sure. But I know he never showed up. And we were at the meeting. Like, once he signed, we went to the bank. We was going to give him the money, all of that.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Who are you talking about? The kid named JD. Right. So that's who originally you was going to sign. Yeah. But 5E came back without JD. No, no, no. I'm just trying to be clear.
Starting point is 00:44:48 No, no, no, no, no. Favi got signed and his deal was done. Okay. And I guess somebody with him, somebody with Favi's team, not Favi but somebody around in the hood or whatever, convinced him don't go with Mase. We going to get a deal and be able to bring you through favi okay same same thing that people do in the business got you
Starting point is 00:45:13 you know and and to make a long story short he never came and got it and then him and favi fell out and okay i was just wondering because i that was sounding similar but obviously it's not shout out to JD, shout out to Favi shout out to everybody down there in the floss or the nine whatever they call it Favi would like to come on the show I heard would you be willing to
Starting point is 00:45:38 talk to him on the show I would love to talk to him on the show I'm going to organize, I'm going to Zoom next week because he's working with Tiny Bum for what I heard. Doing what? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:53 Tiny Bum just called me and said, yo, I'm working with Fabio. I don't know. So he asked me. I said, I'll ask Mase. I just brought it up. But, you know, people don't know y'all dynamic and y'all relationship. And you told me a little bit in there. So I think even outside of this show, know y'all dynamic and y'all relationship, and you tell me a little
Starting point is 00:46:05 bit in there, so I think even outside of this show, if y'all talked, it would go crazy, because a lot of people don't know if you're good, space, bad. I know, I'm not from my business to tell, but people are really interested in you two's dynamic and with y'all guys' relationship. Maybe something else, the Mase show or whatever, but a lot of people- No, I definitely think we need to talk. I think he'll make more money if he talked to me. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Absolutely. Now, back to this stat. What did Nike offer Giannis exactly? Let me check. Real quick, because you had mentioned it. It's saying $10 million a year, but I don't think this is exactly. No, read exactly what you wrote not the adidas part the part when that you wrote yeah i don't have the exact number
Starting point is 00:46:51 that's what i'm looking for no i don't care about the number could you just read the question again oh yeah okay so basically the adidas was hesitant to give the nasa's a contract too so with nike they told him when you take me you take my family my brother and my mom and the girl was like yeah sure whatever and then after that they've been was like, yeah, sure, whatever. And then after that, they've been with Nike ever since. Yeah, sure, whatever means. Them sneakers ain't never coming out. You ain't never getting the Theonises.
Starting point is 00:47:13 You ain't never getting the Air Mama. Freak freaks, don't shit. You ain't never getting them shits. Air Mamas sound hot, yo. Air Mamas. Yeah, yeah. The copyright, that's the mark. You got it. You, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:34 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:41 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, after a while. The fine print is wild. So you'll never get the, the, the, the, however you pronounce it. Tenacity. You didn't see the movie he did online, killer?
Starting point is 00:47:57 Yeah, the movie's hot. I like the Greek freak movie. No, I'm talking about the move that when, when. Oh, I thought you said the move. When he did the sham. Yeah, I'm talking about the move that when he did the sham. Yeah, I seen the sham, but his highlights are good things versus highlights are bad things are ridiculous. Did you see his highlights?
Starting point is 00:48:12 No. What? You see, I'm going to show you why I'm talking real quick. I'm going to show you real quick why I'm talking so you can get an idea what I'm talking about. But no, they're never coming out. The sneakers aren't coming out. They told him what he wanted to hear. D- no, they're never coming out. The sneakers aren't coming out. They told him what he wanted to hear.
Starting point is 00:48:26 D-D's kept it real with him. D-D said, look, do this and we'll visit shit out of the other way. Like he said, it reminds me of
Starting point is 00:48:33 a part in Paid in Full that I did. I think I talked about it, but he wasn't there when Rico and Mitch, which was supposed to be
Starting point is 00:48:43 AZ and Alpo, were talking, AZ and Rich Porter, I talking, AZ and Rich Porter, I mean, Alpo and Rich Porter were talking to Ace, and he was hurting. He's like, yo, I don't want to hustle no more. I can't do it. And then I'm like, nigga, pull your skirt down. Nigga, the street's missing you.
Starting point is 00:48:58 We need to get these keys. Yada, yada, yada, yada. Ace looked at him like, yo, you bugger. And Mitch, which was Rich Porter in that scene, said, if you look at the scene, he looked at him like, oh, that wasn't working. Let me finesse it. I'm like Bird of Magic and one of them hustling niggas.
Starting point is 00:49:16 This down in third. He didn't do nothing but say the same thing Rico said in a smoother way and got what he wanted. You know what I'm saying? I don't really like this phrase because I don't want a bunch of bees around me. I never understood it, but you get more bees with honey, even though I don't even want bees around me. But that's a slogan
Starting point is 00:49:34 niggas be saying. And sometimes when you talk nice and you finesse and you make a good sense. Yeah, who want bees? Yeah, I never like that slogan, but it's a slogan. That's basically saying sometimes finessing will get you where you need to be. But as far as the sneakers coming out, no, no, they're not coming out. Would you get them and then you play worse?
Starting point is 00:49:52 Like, who would go get them so then when you play, you can blame it on the shoes? No, that's not going to happen. We just talked about markability. Yeah. We just talked about markability. Yeah, we just had that conversation. Yeah, we just had this conversation. Yeah, we just had this conversation.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Make sure you trademark that and then go take it to Caitlyn. Caitlyn Clark, the Air Mamas. The Air Mamas right here. The Air Mamas. I'm going to try to be right there right now. Air Mamas, yo. And then moving along to boxing, so Bill Haney and Mayweather
Starting point is 00:50:22 got into it on live. I'm just going to read one of the exchanges, and I want to know you guys' reaction and thoughts on the conversation. But basically, Mayweather told him, if your son is undefeated in the gym, congratulations. Congratulations that you got an undefeated fighter in the gym. I'm an under the lights type fighter. Bill, let me ask you a question.
Starting point is 00:50:41 What's my record under the lights? Bill said, but listen, what's your record in life? And he said, my record in life is undefeated. Then Bill said, flexing that punk ass 50 and 0, I'm 50 and 0 on these streets. I got love in these streets. Fuck your 50 and 0 with that boxing shit. That shit don't mean nothing.
Starting point is 00:50:59 And they went back and forth. This is a lot. About a lot of things. Yeah, and I saw this conversation and I'm going to say, I know Killer is going to say something different, but I'm going to say this is the first time I saw somebody speak to Floyd and actually get to Floyd. You know, like I thought what Floyd said was great when he when he made the statement about this is not about the streets. But I thought Bill has some real valid points if they're true.
Starting point is 00:51:33 I don't know if they're true, but if they're true, he had a lot of valid points. And I don't want to even re reinstate or re. Well, we hear talking about a murder. Say what points he had. What was valid? Yeah. Well, when he spoke to Floyd and he made this statement about, he said, a lot of people that are with you, they're not doing well.
Starting point is 00:51:59 Anybody that's been with you are not doing well. That was the first point he made. He said, there's people with you. How do you know people aren't doing well no i'm saying it's what bill said yeah but you said valid points i want to talk about that's why i said if it's true and then you said well we're here to talk about it so that's absolutely i'm saying if this is true he's saying you made all of this money the people which you're not doing. Then he made the point that he said, if you're buying bags and Birkins for girls, but you won't do major things for your kids
Starting point is 00:52:32 so they stay off the streets. If this is true, you know. Now, I can't say any of this is true. I'm not going on the line about that. But you can't say it's a valid point if you can't. That's why I said I wouldn't talk about it. We got to take the word valid out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:47 All right. These are strong accusations. I like that. Yeah, yeah. You're right. You're right. I like that. We're in media now.
Starting point is 00:52:58 These are strong allegations. Okay, got you. And accusations. I like that better. Because we're not going against Floyd. We're just giving a commentary to what is being stated. And then he made the point about, he said, you gave us a contract, and the contract wasn't what we wanted or what we thought we were worth,
Starting point is 00:53:24 and we went in a different direction and pretty much he's saying that's what caused the riff you know he said what caused the riff is you if i come to you and say cam you sign over here and you're like nah i'm not you my man mace but i ain't signing to you all right so then that's that's how and then and then I'm just like behind the scenes doing certain things to make sure you don't be a success. This is what Bill is alleging. Right? That's the word I'm supposed to use as a
Starting point is 00:53:55 as a um... I like that. Strong accusations is a bunch of other words. Strong accusations. No shot against Floyd. Floyd, you're still home team. To be honest with you, this is the best I've seen Floyd talk without getting mad. I've seen him talk to Brian Kenney on ESPN, arguing niggas, beef with niggas,
Starting point is 00:54:16 screaming niggas. I really enjoyed that Floyd Mayweather on live. Only one part I didn't like. One part from Floyd that I didn't like is when Bill threw his kids in there and Floyd said something about his kids. And I was like, whatever's going on with your kids, whatever, don't let him drag you into that.
Starting point is 00:54:35 Because, you know, stay out of that. But to be honest with you, Floyd was cool. Bill was cursing him out. Bill was yelling, Floyd was smiling. He said, what's the problem? My favorite part, and listen, Bill is a friend of the show family, and just like Floyd is my man, even though he hasn't been on the show yet, that's my nigga. But if we're looking at that argument, it reminded me of the time I was on Bill O'Reilly
Starting point is 00:54:59 and I was like, you mad? You mad? That's what Floyd's attitude was for me. That's the Floyd I see. You may have seen something different, but for me, I was like, this is hilarious because Bill is going so crazy. And to be honest, Floyd could go off the handle, but he didn't. And I like the part when nigga Bill was going so crazy and he said,
Starting point is 00:55:20 well, look, man, you need some help. Fuck you mean I need some help? I don't need no fucking help from you. They said, well, your son needed help the other night. I was like, ooh, little subtle. I like when the nigga don't gotta yell or scream or say two or three words and it pisses you off. Secondly, Bill Haney, the whole conversation, not the whole conversation, a lot of that
Starting point is 00:55:44 conversation, and like I said, Bill's my man. I fuck with him. But he's like, yo, the streets, nigga. I'm in the streets and I do this, that, and the third. I'm in the streets, nigga. The streets, this, that, and the third. But you was arguing with Bernard Hopkins and you said you got shot.
Starting point is 00:55:57 You left the streets to raise your son for him to become a boxer. So when you talk to Bernard Hopkins, you wasn't in the streets no more. But now you catch the L and you argue with Floyd and everything is the streets. So is it not the streets? Was it is the streets? Well, when people are in the streets,
Starting point is 00:56:15 most people use the streets when it's convenient, you know? So now you're accusing Bill Haney. So you're accusing him of using the street term of when he wants. I'm saying, so you're accusing him of using the street term of when he wants to be a man. Everybody that says street stuff are street until they're with somebody that they can't be street with. That's what I think. That's a good point, but that's what it seems like you're accusing him of.
Starting point is 00:56:38 No, I actually, from the conversation, from the conversation, from the feel of the conversation, Paul, from the eye test, I would have probably sided with Bill. Yeah. On this one, I'm going with Floyd. On this one. Because to me, and it's opinionated, which is fine. I just, to me, it was just a Floyd smirking, laughing. He got mad for about a minute or two and went back into,
Starting point is 00:57:06 you look crazy, bro. And I'm not saying Bill is crazy. I'm talking about from Floyd's perspective. Yo, you look wild. Shout out to PT. That was on PT's page as well. Yeah. And shout out to both of them.
Starting point is 00:57:20 I'm just saying from the eye test, because when I was looking at it, it was certain things that Bill said that being from Harlem, you just know conversation. When somebody say, but you ain't say that when I was looking out for your children, you know certain things ain't lies, because there will be a certain response that you, if I said something to you and it ain't true, I know how Cam is going to respond. And you know how Mase is going to respond. So if I say, oh, and you ain't put the tape out of you
Starting point is 00:57:52 in death, and Floyd's respond was, oh, you got a fighter that's undefeated in the gym. So then that says what? What does that say? He beat him in the gym. So then that says what? What does that say?
Starting point is 00:58:06 He beat him in the gym? Or he got the best of him in the gym? Because there's some truth somewhere in there. Because each time that he made a point, he went to a whole other thing instead of addressing it like, nigga, your son ain't do nothing to me in no gym. You know how all them niggas respond. I think my opinion is, and that's a great point which you made, Nigga, your son ain't do nothing to me and no Jim. You know how all them niggas respond.
Starting point is 00:58:28 I think my opinion is, and that's a great point which you made, but I don't view it how you view it. I view it as, yo, we about to get on with this nigga. If it's me and you and you about to get on with him, do not feed into none of that shit. Keep it cool, nigga. Yeah, keep it about what it's about. Don't feed into what he said. If you my man, and you know, we talk all the time, Yeah, keep it about what it's about. What it's about. Don't feed into what he said.
Starting point is 00:58:48 If you my man, and you know, we talk all the time, if there's advice for you to use for me or vice versa, you take it into consideration, and we move forward from there. But I think the niggas around him were saying, you know how he is, don't feed in. He's going to go crazy because he goes crazy when they didn't lose. So everything that Floyd called about, Floyd called about, said what's the problem between me and you?
Starting point is 00:59:13 And to me, my opinion, and I'm pretty sure Bill had addressed it because Bill doesn't require it for anybody. My opinion on that was you spinning. I called to talk to you about one thing. Now my kids is in it. Now I'm in the streets. Now I'm 50 and 0 out here. This, that, and the third. But you're right about certain things and you're right certain niggas will be like,
Starting point is 00:59:31 that's a great point you just made. Cool, you undefeated in the gym. You know what I am under the lights. To me, this was kind of the calmest I've seen Floyd and I liked it because it didn't make sense to get in a screaming match with somebody who talks good, talking about Bill Haney. Not only that, he's very defensive right now because of what just happened less than a
Starting point is 00:59:51 week ago and he ready to sort that shit. He talked shit when he didn't lose, so right now he's very defensive. And to me, I just thought Floyd got the better of that conversation and I'm still cool with both of them like Mase said. But if you ask me who won the conversation, I'm going to say Floyd. I just don't, like you said, you said you was in the streets with Bernard, but then with Floyd, you're not in the streets, but then you are in the streets. And Mase may be right.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Mase won't say it, but he just basically said you're using it when you're convenient. That's what just basically said you're using it when you're convenient that's what he basically i mean to me i always i always stay straight about it so i i think that not only he does i think all people in the street does that i'm all my years living i've never seen anybody that say their street be street with everybody i've never seen it in my whole life. It's some of the toughest people. They'll be super street, but then with this other person, they want to be very, yeah, we're going to chop it up.
Starting point is 01:00:56 No, keep this. I like when people keep the same energy with everybody across the line. Well, absolutely a great point. I've seen people not change and be street with everybody in their day. Yeah. I can appreciate that. You know, you know, like all the time.
Starting point is 01:01:22 And then I hear. I've never seen it though. You know a nigga like, well, you ask niggas who back up the street all the time and they're not here. I've never seen it, though. I've never seen it. I've always seen niggas that they like that, but there's always somebody that make them be rational. I've never seen, and listen, you could be on the plane, right? I'm just thinking off the top of my head, off the top of my head. God bless them.
Starting point is 01:01:43 My man Reg, I've never really seen a fold To certain people And I won't name other people But certain niggas Yeah you're right And Reg will be a good one He will be a good one I'm just saying
Starting point is 01:01:57 He was always on goal It's some people that he'll sit down and talk with Right In the comments let us know who you guys think Won the conversation on goal is some people that he'll sit down and talk with. Right. Right. In the comments, let us know who you guys think won the conversation. But that's all the time that we have for today. Thanks for watching. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Wait, that ain't all the time we have.
Starting point is 01:02:15 We got one more thing, though, because we ain't finished. Let's talk about, before we go, Floyd giving Ryan advice. Okay, I have that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so before we wrap, we've got to talk about one, Ryan Garcia and Mayweather. So Ryan Garcia admitted that all the social media stuff prior to the fight was trolling.
Starting point is 01:02:36 He said that he's going to call it the great escape and it's all going to be documented. He also shared that Mayweather told him to come into the fight over three pounds, which is what what he did what do you guys think about all the things that ryan revealed that goes to my point i could when i said i can sense something in the conversation it was a reason why bill was feeling the way that he felt. Pause. You could just see it from how Cam says the eye test.
Starting point is 01:03:11 You can just see it. It was something. And I'm glad to know that this is allegedly the thing that made it that way. What you talking about exactly? What did you see? When Bill was talking, it just sensed. When talking on the show, talking on the live? When Bill was talking to Floyd. On the live.
Starting point is 01:03:30 On the live. It's just truth is resonant. You can see it. Two people could be arguing. We don't know the whole story. But you can kind of feel when somebody is telling the truth. Like, you know it. Because niggas can pop it, pause, say what they want to say.
Starting point is 01:03:53 But you can kind of see the truth in there when people are talking crazy. So for this to come out, whether we know it to be true, if it could still be allegedly, Ryan says a lot of bizarre things. This makes sense. Not that it's true. It makes sense that somebody gave him the game plan. It didn't come from, it could have come from Bernard Hopkins.
Starting point is 01:04:17 It could have came from some of the other greats, but somebody with wisdom knew you can come in at three pounds. If you come in at three pounds, then you don't, you may not necessarily have to get on a treadmill and run three pounds off. They're either going to take the fight or they're not going to take the fight. That's somebody that's been in the game a lot of years that set him up for this so he could have the advantage, you know? And I don't think that for people that said three pounds ain't no advantage,
Starting point is 01:04:50 it wouldn't be a weight class if weight doesn't matter. People would not weigh in if weight doesn't matter. And to hear that is like, it's pretty crazy. But, you know, I'm on the side of the truth no matter who's right. Yeah, listen, man. but you know I'm on the side of the truth no matter who's right um yeah listen man that just goes to show the expertise and the mind brilliant mind
Starting point is 01:05:14 of Floyd Mayweather to know what weight to come in over just to know what you gotta win fuck the 1.5 million you'll make it back cause even when he was on FaceTime Floyd was like this he had the 3 up just to know what you got to win. Fuck the $1.5 million. You'll make it back. Because even when they was on FaceTime, Floyd was like this. He had the three up.
Starting point is 01:05:30 I don't know if you've seen the FaceTime. You see when they FaceTime each other? Yeah. But I didn't pay attention to that. He had this up on FaceTime. Like I told you, nigga, the three going work. Yeah, exactly. So I think nobody besides Floyd, and I know we had Roy on the show, and Roy was talking about he never did catch weights and so on and so forth.
Starting point is 01:05:53 But I think Floyd has this shit down to the science. Even when he doesn't know what rehydration clause, it tells Javante, don't let him come in on Ryan when y'all fight over the weight. When I fight Canelo, tell him to meet me at 154. I'm not, if he wanna fight for this money. He has that weight shit down packed because he knows, and he's such a brilliant boxer of mine.
Starting point is 01:06:21 To me, that is so fucking dope, because he could've said two pounds. He could have said six pounds. For him to know that three pounds would do the trick, it's some genius shit. Back to the Bill and Floyd thing. I believe that Floyd started doing all this because Bill been talking about Floyd for months. He's been calling him Dollar Bill from Players Club, the movie, saying, oh, you got the strip club, and trolling Floyd. And Floyd has been doing that, and that's why we have to think about this. Yeah, and saying it's the Devin Haney era and all that.
Starting point is 01:06:59 Right, and everything. Why do you think out of nowhere the Tank and Devin footage comes out? All of a sudden the Sparring footage comes out. They go like, yo, why is this nigga fucking with me? You know I got videotaping this nigga. So I don't think it was just a lie. I don't think it was none of that. I think that Bill been on his campaign the last year or so.
Starting point is 01:07:21 This is Mount Rushmore and it's going to be Haney and so on and so forth. And Floyd been caught up in the middle of it. You know, we did the show with Bill. I got a DM from Shakur and he said, why don't y'all let a real nigga come up on the show? Bill knows how to push people's buttons. And I believe Floyd is one of them people that he said, I'm going to push his buttons. He pushed the wrong button. Right. And Floyd, and I'm not just talking about boxing. Floyd is very, very people that he said, I'm going to push his buttons. He pushed the wrong button. Right.
Starting point is 01:07:45 And Floyd, and I'm not just talking about boxing, Floyd is very, very devious on get back. And I'm not going to talk about it, but I've seen him do other things to get back at other people without saying a word. Videotapes pop up out of nowhere and so on and so forth because I've seen him do it. Like, oh, niggas fucking with me
Starting point is 01:08:05 like I ain't got footage. Well I don't know this, I don't know that. So when you fuck with Floyd, he'll get on like he out on the live and fuck with you, but he been fucking, pardon me, going back at Bill without talking for the last couple months. But I believe Bill been trolling everybody. I don't think it's personal against Floyd. God, they be a fool.
Starting point is 01:08:24 He said nobody can personal with Floyd. Call they be a fool. He said nobody could fuck with nobody. But when you fuck with Floyd, be careful that he doesn't have any dirt on you because the way he gets back at you isn't always verbal. Rob Markman, Where do you think it started at? Rob Markman, Bill and Floyd? Rob Markman, Yeah, where do you think it started? Because at one time, I remember a tape, I saw Dev being trained by Floyd or learning some things from Floyd,
Starting point is 01:08:47 and that's what made Javante run back from Baltimore and move out to Vegas and start training. Floyd was saying he's going to train whosoever available. Right. So where do you think this is? You may have more knowledge on that than me because obviously these guys have a lot of history even though the tape that we're talking about, the sparring that we're talking about, we're talking about
Starting point is 01:09:10 a 17-year-old Devin Haney when he's fighting Gervonta, which Gervonta is probably four or five years older than him. So stuff that comes out to the public now and to me, you dig a little deeper pores in the boxing than I am. I know a lot about boxing, but you like boxing a lot. And I would say that I don't know, but a lot of it's coming to light and you have to do some due diligence, but it's a lot of things we may not know. You can sit there and say, we know people who know Floyd, we know people who know Bill,
Starting point is 01:09:41 and we'll sit here and talk about it. And then we'll get one of our niggas, which I won't say, a couple of people we know and they be like, see what you don't realize, Bill had did this. Bill had did this, nobody knows. So that's why niggas know that. It'd be a lot of times when people- It'd be a lot of that.
Starting point is 01:09:56 Yeah, and not just boxing. It's a lot of times you see these people arguing, it don't matter, music teachers, librarians, whoever. You don't always know. You don't know the whole story. You don't know the whole story, and sometimes you never will. So I believe that the sparring match has something to do with it, with Tank and Devin. Then, like you said, Bill has been going around pumping
Starting point is 01:10:16 that Devin may have got the best of Floyd in sparring. Floyd never say he didn't. So who knows at the end of the day? I really don't know where it started at, but whatever it is, I just know Floyd could be subtle, very subtle and be careful that he doesn't have dirt on you. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:34 When he's beefing with you. And that's what we're trying to get to. We're trying to get to the bottom of it. Where did all this come from? Cause even when you talk about the sparring tape of Javante and, and, um, and death or the sparring tape with,
Starting point is 01:10:48 with Floyd and death or everything else they're talking about, where does this stem from? Cause one thing, one thing you don't want to happen is I remember when Floyd was coming up, he used to always talk about how the black fighters are being taken advantage of and that a lot of times that the Spanish or people like that get get a lot of praise and stuff like that and that's why he used to wear the Mexican hats right beat up on them every every cinco de mayos and that's why this story is really interesting because now if it comes out
Starting point is 01:11:27 that he helped somebody Puerto Rican be somebody black, it's almost like the whole story is. Okay. Well, let us know what you guys think about the information shared in the exchanges because it's a lot, but that's all the time that we have for today. Thanks for watching.
Starting point is 01:11:45 And as always, it is what it is.
