It's like, whoa.
It's like,
This episode is sponsored by Underdog.
The app is an easy way to make some cash just by making picks on your favorite players.
Underdog dropped their ladders game for the NFL,
so with ladders, you'll pick three to five players who you think have a big game in them.
Winning is very straightforward.
The bigger their nights, the bigger your payout.
So your payout will jump up for each level hit by every player.
Pick who goes off correctly, and you could take home up to a thousand times your money in one night, y'all, a thousand times.
So here's my entry for Thursday night football.
Try out ladders today by signing up with code.
It is what it is and play just $5 and get $50 in bonus funds, y'all, $50 in bonus funds.
I'm Treasure Wilson, a.k.a. Stat Baby, along with your host, Mace, and Cam.

This is the new look for now on,
so don't go backwards.
Yeah, I got a few dollars, so I got a collection of suit said I'm on earlier the week and I know the appropriate thing to do early in the week is to wear a suit. So I got y'all talk that shit, nigga. I like that shit.
He's a nigga using his hands like he's Ryan Clark now? I don't know if I like that. I like it man for it's fire. I like I'm like I'm like Ryan clock.
Oh, no.
Hey, listen, look, the brand moving forward, man.
I was in the same, look, I was in the same streets that y'all was in.
I heard all the fans going crazy.
And when I came back, I wanted them to see me have a best and since there's a lot of attention
in the YouTube streets with, you know, with everything going on, I just want to make sure
is there was eyeballs on the shots on the people to see me at my best.
And that's all I was doing.
Yeah, go ahead with that shit.
Yeah, Mo, we applauded, Mo.
I was just asking you the question.
haters would ask you know yeah man yeah he looked good brother definitely glad to have you
back okay so we got to talk some college and we're going to start with Colorado so
Coach Prime is shaking things up in Colorado with the expectation to start their third string
quarterback Ryan Stobb so Colorado had won their game versus Delaware 31 to 7
Maurice what's your take on this? I personally believe that this is coach Prime
I'm finally trying to build post-Shador and post-Trabis.
And what he's doing is realizing that he doesn't have a superstar that can basically
guard the attention that Shador and Travis did.
And so now he's trying to label his program as a place that you can come and develop.
If you see what he did in the offseason, he had brought in Byron Leifwich, you know,
obviously Brian Lefich, you know, obviously Brian Lefich, had a ton of success as a football player.
He had Warren Stap.
He has Marshall Fault.
He has Pat Schumer.
So this is him trying to assemble his team based upon skill and what it is that you do at practice.
And so I look at this is a good thing.
I think that there's a lot of recruits throughout the nation who may look at Coach Prime and say,
hey, man, I don't have to be a five-star recruit or high-profile athlete.
I can go in there and compete and then maybe get some attention and some development that I probably couldn't get elsewhere.
So I just think that this is the start of something new with him building without superstars with Trappes in Chiodo.
Yeah, I also, I like what he's doing.
Actually, when you start a third string quarterback, it lingers throughout the team, pause, for real, because now it sends the notion to everybody on that roster that I could start next week.
You know, I could go from, from wide receiver number two to wide receiver one.
I could automatically get boosted up in the rankings, and it just, it turns the practice feel into a real place that you.
you can compete at because sometime when you're playing on a team, the coaches already have
who they want to start. They already know who they want to be on the front line. And when you
mix it up like this, it just brings hunger and it brings back the real competitiveness that used
to be on football teams. So I salute them for this, not just mixing it up. And it's going to bring
good attention and good marketing to the team because, you know, as Killer said and several
times before that coach prine is a marketing genius and this is a part of marketing making people
feel like i could come to this school and play like you guys said moe even if i'm not a top five recruit
i don't look at it as deep as pauses mason you mo i just look at it as coach prime is going to do what's
best for the football program if you get if you remember when he left jackson and came to colorado
he had a meeting with the players
and that were at Colorado
when he first got there
you knew you was bringing Shadoo,
you knew he was bringing Travers,
you knew he's bringing his coach itself.
He had the players that were there
the year before that had I think
1 and 12 record if I'm not mistaken
but he had a meeting with them
and it's a video, it's crazy
he has a meeting with them.
He says, look I'm going to be honest with you
man, y'all might as well go ahead and transfer
and be on, go ahead and get in the portal.
Jadour coming.
You quarterback? I would get,
I would get in the portal.
That's what I would do.
He didn't sugarcoat it whatsoever.
He got there and told niggas,
who was already at Colorado,
if I was you, I would leave now
because you're not going to get no burn.
And with this particular situation,
I don't know I haven't been to,
I'm going to shout to Coach Prime
and Pretty Tonin everybody.
And Dion Jr., I'm going to make sure
I get to a few games before the season's over.
But basically, to me,
he sees something in the third-string quarterback
that he's not seeing in the first or second string quarterback.
And I agree everything may say as far as marketing, so on and so forth.
But I don't think it's just that.
I think he's going with who's going to win football games for him.
So we're not just seeing, obviously, you're in practice and we're not in practice with him.
But obviously, he's seeing something in the third string quarterback that he's not seeing in the first string,
first or second string quarterback.
I'll give you a great example.
and just using myself
when I first got to transfer
to school my school I ended up
I don't know I didn't graduate
but I ended up going to Man Center
and I was ineligible
because of my grades the first
semester so I missed the first
half of the basketball season
and the team was doing pretty good
it wasn't bad I know they have
over 500 record I don't remember what it was
but I remember it wasn't living up
the expectations and
our friend, Coach Rich, that we had on the team,
I'm not going to say the player's names,
but it was seniors who were starting.
Yeah.
And he was like, man, you used to come on.
We're going to take Kim.
Kim, you're starting.
You used to start anyway.
This nigga used to coming off the bench anyway.
We can't get done with him starting.
And they were seniors, so usually you don't start a freshman,
a sophomore or whatever it is.
But if you're a role player, you're a role player.
player, if you're a scorer, your scorer, if you're a point guard, whatever the case may be.
But I remember him sending seniors down because he would say, my coach would say, just because
you're a senior, that don't mean that you know how to start a basketball game.
And that's kind of the scenario I'm getting with this situation.
Yeah, it's a number.
Your first string, your second string, your third string.
Well, how about this?
Your third string is first string now.
So if it's third string, quarterback, he's now the first string for at least this one.
week because he's starting.
So I think Coach Pram is always going to do what's best for Colorado to win football games.
Yeah, and I think this is sad for the guy that thought, when Shador leaves, I'm finally going to start.
And now this is the year he thinks he's coming into the summer, like I'm QB1, and Prime just went with the third stream.
So that's another layer to this conversation.
that it's a nightmare to a prima donna and a person that's a diva that thinks they just automatically got the spot you know how that is mo and killer y'all know how that is yeah absolutely well go ahead go ahead no same you're gonna say marries you're good no i just um not slightly disagree but it just makes me think like um he has to start thinking about how do i build my roster out when i don't have the money i don't have a superstar and so that's where i thought the attraction
came from the start the third string guy to send a message out there to say if you were
top to your player who probably don't get the money that these power fives can pay you and
you want to play elsewhere i thought that that was a message to send out to those kids who basically
could lay in the Colorado and get the visibility but i hear your vantage point with um you know
you just put the best player on the field to basically uh help Colorado win well no can you speak to
the guy that that thought he was starting next year
now that Shador is gone.
He's been waiting this whole time after Shador.
And now you finally get there and now is somebody else again.
Well, it wasn't a, I don't think it was a kid who was already on the roster.
If you go back, I don't know, I think it's the kid named is Jillian Bay or something like that.
And y'all can correct me if I'm wrong.
But it was a young kid from California,
the curly head, you know, lights kid you do.
Julian Lewis.
Julian Lewis.
And he was supposed to come in and be like the heir to the throne.
And he was supposed to be like the heir to the throne.
like the person they was passing the torch to.
And so he was a five-star recruit, highly touted and probably could have went anywhere in the country.
And I'm pretty short, I was a wake-up call, but obviously he wasn't going out here.
And Coach Trump, obviously, like Cam said, had to put the best guy on the field.
But I also think that as he's putting that guy in field, I think he's thinking like, man,
we don't have the same NIL money that these power five schools have.
So how am I going to build up a roster without a premier superstar or all the money that these
other schools have it. So I thought it was him building the roster through that.
You could be correct. Yeah. I mean, no, what I'm going to do. I'm going to call the
nigga the more. So I'm just actually straight up. I just looked at the, you know, I was going to
call him, but it's a little, no, he's in practice probably right now. But I'm going to call
the nigga later on the day and get the exact answer on why he's doing it. So we don't
got to speculate. Yeah. Also just add for Ryan Stobb, so basically he all, both of the other two
quarterbacks went in before him, but when he entered the game, he actually completed seven for 10 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
So I also think it just comes down to like, even if the expectation is like, we're going to go with the first string or the second string.
Like, if the third string is going to take over when the moment presents itself, I just feel like that's the one that we got to go with for the next game.
So all those, you know, reasonings are also great.
But I also think that Ryan stepped up when needed to.
And that's kind of how it's translating.
Hopefully he continues to do so for the next of their games.
But I'm excited to see what's to come next for Colorado.
Okay.
So now that Shador and Travis Hunter are both in the NFL, Maurice, what does success look like for Prime now?
I think with him, I don't think that it changes.
I think that he's been vocal about wanting to make the college playoffs and take Colorado from like this middle tier program and it being more about him to the program, actually get a lot.
getting into the college playoffs.
And so I don't think success for him changes,
but I think that you have to talk about a realistic path
of how you get there based on your resources.
I think I was trying to make that point,
you know, the first question where, you know,
if it is to get to the playoffs,
you need, you know, the guys between the tackles,
the offensive line and the defensive line.
And when you don't have the money
that these power files have to get these premier players,
like there's other mechanisms that you have to use
to basically, you know, get those players
become competitive.
Yeah, I think they got to get off to a really, really good start.
That's what it's going to look like as success.
I mean, I hate to make it so simple.
But when you got a team that's been so storyline by so many superstars and so many great
moments is almost imperative that you start out with a great run because it starts
to build a narrative that they're not able to win now that he doesn't have his children
or Travis Hunter.
Yeah, I can't agree with Mace.
I think it's pretty simple.
You've got to win.
And with Coach Prime,
the lights have been on him since college.
And we've seen this with Chador,
with Travis Hunter there.
They was hating on them when they were there.
You know, why is Coach Prime
in a press conference with sunglasses?
Marketing Genius.
Get the sunglasses.
a million dollars next week off the sunglasses.
You get what I'm saying?
So they've been hating on coach since he's got to Colorado.
I mean, not even Colorado.
They was hating on him in Jackson saying he's not swag or anything else.
So for him, me personally, my opinion is, is try to get to a bowl game.
If you get to a bowl game this year, niggas can't say shit.
If you don't, then he's just, you know, the critics, not myself or anybody up on our panel.
The critics can't wait to be like, you can't do it without his son.
He can't do it without Travis.
You get what I'm saying?
So to me, get into a bowl game is a successful season
and making sure that he gets good recruiting for the seasons to come.
Because he definitely just signed the five-year contract.
So I don't think he's going anywhere for a minute.
So just getting back to that level of winning.
Because think about it, his expectations, the first year at Colorado was win three games
and they won four games.
The next year it was supposed to win four games.
and he makes it to a bowl game.
And then if you have a downward slope, they were like, yeah, see, we told you, listen, man, everybody goes through a rebuilding phase.
And I'm not talking about necessarily colleges because you know the top five schools all the time.
I know Mo you don't know about rebuilding because Ohio State is always in the conversation of being a top 10 school, if not a top five school.
But I'm just talking about different organizations as professional.
Sometimes you go through a rebuilding phase.
Ohio, Alabama, LSU.
Y'all have the best recruiting programs
because people know that you turn collegiate athletes
into pro athletes.
Y'all have a great reputation of that.
And I just think that's where Colorado needs to go.
And Coach Prom had at least six, five, six players
go to the NFL.
Whether they were drafted in a draft or not,
they made it to the NFL.
And whether they're starting not,
some of them are still on these teams.
So he definitely has the reputation to say, look, six niggas just went to the league,
nigger.
Don't act like we ain't sending niggas to the league.
And that's the ultimate goal for these football players in the law on.
Great points.
Okay.
So Michael Vick and Deshawn Jackson both took the route that Prime took by taking college head coaching
jobs at HBCUs.
Do you guys see the same kind of trajectory as Coach Prime?
Do you think it'll be a little bit different?
Maurice, how are we feeling about that?
I think it's going to be slightly different, and it's for two reasons, of my opinion.
I think Coach Brown became famous.
And I think the kids are sometimes Bucky, the kid who follow him around the camera all the time.
Hey, son.
That's the Dion Jr.
Bucky, yep.
Yeah, I think he's the one who, I don't think Prime has become anything different.
I just think the camera brought Dion into everybody's phones and living rooms and everything else.
And I think just who he is as a person, I think just them showing his lifestyle and just who he is as an individual, just those two things, I think made a world of a difference.
And we look at Sean Jackson, a phenomenal player, Michael Vic, phenomenal player, people who have, you know, every accolade that you can want to have on a football, from a football standpoint.
But I think, like, in this era of social media, I think the social media piece in his son, shooting videos, edited videos, you see in Deion's house in Texas or wherever.
at and you just learning more about his lifestyle and learned about Shador and all that stuff.
I think that that played a major role. I don't see Michael Vick doing that, what he's doing over at HBCU,
and I hope he has success, and I don't see Deshaun Jackson doing that. And that's a little bit of
like just people having comfort with, you know, having cameras around them all the time.
But I think those things made prime popular, but I also think if people see Michael Vick's personality and the last
thing that the people could talk about just the trouble he's gotten into and happy he
redeemed himself and they can kind of see where he's at modern day I think that
those things will make a difference of both of those guys yeah I think I think
when it comes to Michael Vick exactly what you said at the latter part of your take
I think Michael Vick and Dion is just two separate individuals from the aspect of
their personality from their temperament they're both dogs on a field but as a
coach I don't know what Michael Vick is
like. I had the pleasure pause for watching him play a lot of years in Atlanta, but I don't know
what he's like as a coach. Sometimes the same way you are as a player doesn't translate to being a
coach. He could be a total different coach than he is as a player. And I'm waiting to see that
because right now the team is one in one. And looking at Michael Vick as a person, I'm not sure
if the camera is on him, will he light the camera up, you know, from personality and charisma
to be able to make those big stars come down there and play now i hope they do i had the pleasure
of seeing um ai down there and a lot of people came down there to support michael vick and i look
to go down there and support them as well but right now it's going to be based upon what he doing
these first couple of games because people are really watching as michael vick coached before
or de sarah jackson before these these jobs that they were offered so before norfolk
Folk State. He was an offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Legends in the Alliance of American
Football. And then it said he held a coaching intern role with the Kansas City Chiefs.
This is Michael Vick.
Yes.
Look, I think Mays hit on the hat. I don't know. I think Michael Vick, look, it's niggas who good in
one field don't mean that you're going to be good in another field. I remember this, and this
my nigger, Rashid Wallace.
Rashid Wallace, we are, I mean, if you're old enough to know, there's not.
niggins a great basketball player.
Really, really good basketball player.
Detroit Pistons or Portland Trailbla.
Super good basketball player.
The Pistons gave him an opportunity to coach the team.
And when he was coaching, he was acting like a player.
The players, don't keep running the court, chest bumping him,
high-fiving him.
He was still in player mode.
He wasn't a coach, you know, so they was like,
hold on, I don't know if this is going to be the right fit for him to be a coach
because he was still in actual, he was in the moment.
You know, and there players get, and he wasn't in a coaching mode.
I'm not saying he wouldn't have been a great coach,
but you could just see from the way his body language was,
he was still in a player, frame of mind.
Michael Vick, I'm not sure.
I wish her well, and Deshaun Jackson, I wished her well.
Will they be good?
Will they be coaches?
I don't know.
I got more of a better question for you, Maurice, and Mace.
Do you think they can let their bitch come on the sideline like Bill Belich?
That was a good question.
I'm saying, like, if they're not winning and down 40,
you think they can let their girl come on the sideline at the 50,
be like, yo, what's good, man?
We packed this shit up and figured out again next week.
Man, definitely not Michael Vick.
I know Michael Vick definitely can't let his woman walk down the field.
All right.
Because, I mean, because, you know, it's all,
and not because of just Michael Vick's past,
but the whole, the whole city of Virginia,
has been turned upside down since that fight
and the guys fighting in the locker room
and all of that, the boxes and all that.
So it's a real different cloud on Virginia.
So he definitely got to bring some good spirits there.
So he definitely couldn't do it.
What's bad about having your girl there?
Why are you going good spirits and all that?
Like his girl got bad spirits?
What are you talking about?
No, no, we're not doing that.
That's what you say.
You got to bring some good spirits.
What you know?
We don't know.
What you're talking about?
No, Michael Vick, we're not doing that.
Michael Vick, we're hoping you succeed down there.
But I'm saying when we're talking about Bill Belichick,
a black person, period, can't have his girl on the field.
I don't care if it's his wife or whatever.
You know, it's just not doing that, especially not a side joint.
That's all I was checking with, because Bill Belichick, Dre,
I would guarantee you any amount of money she's going to be there next week after the 40-point loss.
she don't care what nobody's safe.
If she's up there next week
out of the 40-point loss,
then Bill might be out of there, man.
They might have to forfeit the money
if she down there again.
My opinion on Bill Belichick is if they don't go
at least 500, he's out of there.
That's my opinion.
I think he has to do minimum 500
for him to keep that job.
Because there's already too much shit going on
when they can be like,
the athletic director need to talk to him.
They question them.
That ass, they question the nigger, like,
yours, is everything okay, why is this so much?
There's too many questions about this girl.
Now, he don't go 500.
I'm doing the underdog.
If y'all want to put this on line,
the over and under,
if Bill Belichick don't go 500 this season,
he's getting fired.
Underdog, make it happen.
And then real quick, Maris, what do you think?
What would it take for Belichick to be out of there?
I don't know.
I was going to ask Cameron a different question.
I was going to ask this Bill Belichick,
leave himself or do they fire him and so you said firing but i think i think he has to go but
it'd be it'd be shameful to watch bill bellichick go all this game like this and he might be
showing love mode that his girl said we out of here and he go yeah babe we out of here that's my
point you think that's that's what we've been discussing that's crazy yeah that's what we've been
discussing listen i told you i had some people that does work with him and it's not just the stuff
that we see on camera, it goes on off camera as well
to where she's controlling a lot of his environment
and it's rubbing off on business.
I know it sounds funny and shit,
but when the athletic director has to have a meeting
with you about your girlfriend
and with her being around too much,
that's a problem. But when you win,
winning solves a lot of shit.
When you win it, niggies are you?
But they lose it.
That's my point. And that's why I said,
if he doesn't go 500, he's going to get fired.
As far as him leaving, I don't think he wants to leave
because, look, Bill Belichick is not starving for no money.
I think he just doesn't want to retire.
I don't even really think that he wanted to coach college.
I just think it wasn't an opportunity for him in the NFL.
And so he's like, I'm not, I'm in my 70s, but I'm in good shape.
I'm got to go coach.
I can't sit at home all day because he has enough money to sit home,
but he wants to work.
But does he really want to work for North Carolina?
I don't think so.
that was the best opportunity that he had presented so he might be i mean he might be fired and
don't even know it you know non blacks they fired differently okay what's that
let us know what you guys think will happen in the comments down below because at this
point anything can happen um am i tripping is that you're not tripping i just that's not what i was
expecting. But you know how non-black's fire, right? Non-Black's just a crazy statement.
Okay, all right. But I hear you. I hear you. Okay, what's going on with the Miami Dolphins and do y'all
trust Daniel Jones? We will discuss after the break.
Four years and counting
Got you feeling like an option
Maybe I'm my own problem big
She's tired of hearing
I don't know
What's happening in me won't fall
Oh oh
dealing with this thing called trust
But she really thinking about
She wanted to be free
Why am I in this woman
way free
welcome to see a walk away
I wish somebody told me the rules
disagreements let her win
even when I'm right to sing about
Welcome back
Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day
So like we said Thursday, the commanders
We'll play the Packers
Underdog has Josh Jacobs at half a rushing
And receiving touchdown
Do you have them higher or lower me?
Say it again?
They have Josh Jacobs at half
Half a rushing and receiving touchdown.
Do you have them higher or lower mace?
Mm.
Lower.
One more time.
Josh Jacobs at half a rushing and receiving touchdown.
It's one of them trick ones.
Yeah.
Higher.
Higher.
Underdog be gone.
Higher.
Okay.
Terry McLaren is at 54 and a half receiving yards.
Do you have them higher, lower, can?
Higher.
Yeah, higher.
Okay.
Make sure y'all download the underdog app and you can make your picks too.
So we talked about all.
All the games, but there is...
Real quick, underdog.
People, listen, we love y'all,
but people are complaining about getting certain states.
Ohio's pissed on.
Niggins in Cincinnati, they pissed off.
We got to figure out how we get this shit in multiple states.
Now, I know it's a lot of rules and everything else,
but people are getting mad at me
like I control the gambling system in America.
I'm going to send you all the states
and everybody online,
trying to get in every state possible.
But if you got to take a little hour drive
to get on the app, it's all good, man.
It'll be worth it. But we're trying to get
in many states underdog that is as possible
on working on it. Niggas be coming to me.
Like, I'm the CEO or an underdog. Like, yo, what the
fuck, my nigga? I can't bet in this particular state.
So we tell you what states you can bet in.
And we're working on trying to get to a state name you.
Okay. So there was one game in particular that we did not
discuss and I figured why not talk about it?
So the Dolphins lost 33 to 8 versus the Colts.
Tua had a 51.7 pass rating the lowest of his career in a game.
He didn't leave early with an injury.
Maurice, what has gone on with Miami?
Miami is not happy, of course.
So what are your thoughts?
Man, it's a lot going to,
yeah, it's a lot going on in Miami.
You know, the obvious things that they lost.
And just through the media in general,
they're catching a bunch of flak and it just goes on to some of the struggles that they say with leadership with the head coach but what seems to be gathering all of the attention down there is Tyree Hill and just stuff that he's dealing with off the field and I'm just like a personal believer from being around so many championship programs that when you have like you know
Mo, man.
Now you've been around so many championship programs.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, you drive her.
Hey.
All right.
All right.
He's a reliable source.
All right.
All right.
A reliable source.
All right.
The real title tale.
Niggas said the real title town.
So many championship programs, man.
Game, my bad.
I mean to interrupt.
Show off.
Go off that, nigger.
Go off that, nigga.
The rings.
The ring's it.
The ring.
and things you sing about bring them out, nigga.
I like all that.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, my bad, I need to interrupt you.
Danos.
That's all I'm saying.
Yeah, I see it.
I see it.
I see it.
I just been around some successful teams
and they operate a certain way.
I'm on this very successful show
and it operates a certain way.
And just like,
look, out of all people this week cam,
you understand distractions, right?
Yeah.
Trying to do the main thing.
and people be distracting him.
And if you feed into the distractors,
you forget the main thing.
That's all I'm saying.
Tyler and Hill got is a whole set of distractions.
Like that kid, girl, you've been on, you know why you've been around us for a minute.
You can tell it, nigg, they've been around the niggas for a minute, nigga.
I'm just saying, look, we just can't, like, we can't feed into the distractions.
Tyreek Hill has distractions, and when you have the main guy who has distractions,
feeds into the organization and then the next thing you know you start losing they start blaming
everybody and at the end of the day the person who's the most notable the person who makes the most
money and the person who's supposed to be the face of the franchise those guys are supposed to be
supposed to be doing the things that lead the organization forward and that's all i'm saying
about miami and these small things like i say when you win in or when you're part of a top
tier organization everything matters and these small things off the field that guys get into shows
that they're not focused on the main thing that's all i was saying yeah mo you're talking with the rings
and shit oh yeah yeah when you get back to ohio tell coach ryan i want to wear my ring on my
pinky so i need a seven a size seven ring pause well i'm in ohio i'm just about to say
where's you he's holding the rings and they ain't send me my ring you know
Merle, you didn't show up to the game.
They owe for you, my niggins.
It's my blessing, though.
If I take my blessing away, they don't win.
That's what's going on in Kansas City.
Everything is your, but my mom can give his blessing.
Your blessing is better than his blessing.
If it is, just saying.
Yeah, if the killer is having a week.
I'm going to let them have this week.
Is your blessing higher than most blessings?
No, it's not.
It's not the blessings together, just like.
Like our blesses together, it's not just me.
I didn't know if you was a higher power.
He said I was the Pope, yeah, yeah.
I was just wondering.
I'm picking that up.
I was just wondering.
Look, when it comes to this, to me it's not even, pardon me,
to me it's not even that simple.
And this is a situation where I really hate to say this, man.
For this situation, this is a situation.
where I hate to admit this Sin City is right.
Because me and Sin, for a year,
not all the last year,
it's at least seven, eight times,
he had the argument to where,
why would Tyreek go to Miami?
He's on Kansas City, da, da, da.
I'm like, he got his Super Bowl ring.
Then he wants to go get his money.
It'd be like that sometime, even in other sports.
Niggas get the ring, they want the money.
Nags get the money that they want the ring.
We've seen players who take less money.
to get on the team to try and win a ring.
We've seen players to get a ring
and then go on another team for more money
to try and get the most money they could get.
And this particular situation
is a scene used to be like,
yo, Tyreek Hill, he's bugging.
Yo, you could make that money up, y, y, y'all, y'all.
And I used to be like, look, he got his ring.
Now he wants his money.
I'm not mad at him.
But see, Tyreek made me look stupid
because he's crying now.
My bad.
So Tariq is making me look crazy now
because of him crying.
If you were just like, man, don't worry about it.
We had a rough season.
We're going to get back to it next season.
Cool.
You finish off the end of the year
with your press conference
saying basically that you're not happy
with the situation because you're not winning.
I don't know.
I'll forget what it was, what he posted,
what he changed his avi on his Twitter
to Antonio Brown
and something
when he was leaving the field.
Now this season starts off
you know, you're not having a yardage
that you usually have and everything
else. And then think about this.
We've seen
Kansas City go to the Super Bowl
and I believe win a Super Bowl
without Tyreek Hill
there.
So you wanted
the money. You wanted to go to Miami.
You can still be playing with Patrick
Mahomes right now. You chose
this scenario because you wanted your money and I'm not a nigger to argue with anybody who wants
their money but don't cry about it don't complain and we all know you want to win but you
is with the best quarterback in the world right now y'all niggas made miracles happen together and
you also see the decline I don't want to use the word decline because he's still a great player
but we see Travis Kelsey getting a little bit older this could have been potentially your team
And not saying you wasn't the number one go-to
as far as receivers is concerned
when you was in Kansas City.
But imagine what you would be doing right now
with Patrick Mahomes, with your chemistry,
which I would have been built in the last couple years.
You wanted your money.
You got your money.
You live in sunny Florida.
Don't cry about it.
You had an opportunity to stay where they're winning at.
And now that you're not wanting, you're complaining.
Okay.
So now we're kind of going to further discuss
this Tyreek Hill situation.
so he was actually accused of domestic violence by his ex-wife.
His ex-wife claimed there was eight instances
and when she was allegedly abused by Tybee Kill
during their 17-month marriage.
The first alleged incident reportedly occurred in January,
two months after the couple got married.
She claimed he grew angry
while discussing a post-nobstual agreement.
Maurice, first question before we kind of just dive into what's going on.
How much do you think these issues impact the locker room?
Do you think it's mainly just with the player himself
or do you think it affects the locker room as a whole?
I just think it's noise, you know?
I just think, like, when you're trying to have success in general,
like you just can't deal with the variables of noise.
And then this is like low-level noise.
Like when you have domestic disputes and just like nigger shit at the end of the day,
I don't have to say that anybody can't have a domestic dispute with a spouse,
but all of this stuff creeps into the locker room.
And when you spend time focusing on the wrong things,
You can't spend time focusing on right things.
And now you're having discussions about, you know, what's in place at home or you get into it's your old lady or just stupid shit in general.
And guys don't focus on all the shit that basically helps them to make the money that they need to make or when the ganges.
So that's my two sense on it.
I think that it may not be like the like some huge significant distracting force, but it's just still noise.
And you don't need to deal with that.
It's so hard to be great.
It's so exhausting to be great.
It takes a lot of effort and a lot of focus to be great.
And when you start spending time just on trivial nonsense, you get these scenarios.
Yeah, I think when it comes to the whole situation, I think is very unfortunate that we're dealing with domestic balance in any sort.
But I think if none of this happens, if he stayed in Titletown, you know, this is what happens when you leave Titletown.
You start going to other places.
You start experiencing a life you wasn't supposed to experience.
to experience. It wasn't a path. Sometimes all money ain't good money. It could be in
Title Town. The thing about it is Tyreek never played for Philadelphia Eagles, so he wasn't in
Title Town. That's where Title Town is actually at right now. So anyway, I have no idea what
Mason's talking about. So he's never played for the Eagles that I've known about. But as far as
domestic values is concerned, I have no comment on it because I have no knowledge on it. All I'm
going to say is I don't support it and I don't agree with it, but I have no comment on
that but as far as a locker room's concerned um well i don't know what to say to that because
me personally you have friends just look like me and mace we we we fuck uh fuck around pause
super pause no comment on that um but let's just as far as locker room is concerned you
were saying that's part of it like you got people that you're cool with that you play sports
with and you got people you play sports with that you just play sports with so you
If it's me, Mace, and Dre Degger after school or in the locker room, after locker room and everything else,
and then one of them situations, be on Mace or my man Degger, like, for instance, I'll be like, that shit ain't true.
Whether I know it's true or not, I don't agree what I'm just saying, I know this nigger that ain't happened.
But then if it's a nigger on the team that we're not cool, it's like, this nigga.
Could be.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So he might be like, you might get my left hand five when you see the name.
You're like, you know what I'm saying?
So it depends on your relationship, but I don't support it whatsoever.
I will just add also.
So it is an accusation and a divorce filing.
So there have been no official charges, but kind of like how we were talking about one
of the prior episodes, how these headlines do kind of overcome what's happening.
So it's like, I just think in general.
And it's like, I can't tell a grown man what to do.
but it's just very important to, like, be on your shit.
Don't do anything that you know is not good to do.
And I hope they figure it out because it's unfortunate
because the team's already not doing so well.
And then this, if it is true, that's just a terrible thing.
And it just kind of adds more just bad things to your career.
Like, it sucks to see somebody with so much good potential,
just go down the wrong path.
And I don't think we want to see that in any sport.
So, like, I don't know if there needs to be more mentorship
or something along the lines to kind of help these athletes
just stay on the right track, but I mean, that is bad.
We can't condone it regardless.
So if that's what you choose to do,
you're just going to continue to take yourself through a downward spile.
So I hope they figure it out for sure.
Okay.
So as far as the Colts, Daniel Jones led them to their first season opener
wins since 2013.
Maurice, do you trust Daniel Jones?
Let's see what he got to say on this.
No, I don't trust Daniel Jones.
I seen Daniel Jones when he was with the Giants, and the reason he's out of the Giants organization was because how he played.
And I think that this was one to see what they had as a backup.
I think they also wanted to put pressure pause on Anthony Richardson just to see, like, you know, him become more competitive and excited about playing.
I know what they had, like, you know, reservations last year when he checked out the game, we said he was too tired and so on and so forth.
But I think Anthony Richardson, him being the first round pick,
will end up at some point playing the rest of the season.
But I'm not a believer of Daniel Jones.
I watched enough of him when he played for the Giants
and just my personal opinion.
So you don't think that it was just New York,
that he was not able to play well in New York?
Well, you can definitely say that, you know,
a player can succeed or fail within the system.
You can definitely say that, you know,
if you go to a new city and, you know,
You have different pieces and parts around you.
You know, those things can contribute, but I never seen Daniel Jones do something that wowed me.
And I'm just talking about from a business standpoint, I don't see how you draft Anthony Richardson.
And, you know, then you pay Daniel Jones to come in and you just keep your first round pick on the bench.
I just don't see how it happens.
At some point, you have to get Anthony Richardson off the bench because you're paying him so much money, at least give him a chance to have success and then trade him out.
If you do plan on keeping Daniel Jones, but it looks like Anthony Richardson.
they have the most upside and the most money investment to him.
And so that's why I'm saying that Anthony Richardson at some point has to come back into the game.
Yeah.
What happened to Anthony Richardson start?
So in his preseason game, he sustained a dislocated right pinky.
And then we already know that he had that shoulder injury and just a couple injuries
since he really, he's been drafted in the league.
Oh, man.
I mean, this is this is so unfortunate.
it just seemed like
like he'll come back, he'll definitely
come back. I think they're just working
their play right now. This is the best thing they
can do for the team. Hopefully
he comes back and this becomes
a high-powered offense again.
I think at this point it's very unfortunate.
Thumb niggily, I don't know,
our high-powered offenses
Andrew Luck was there and
Peyton Manning. Anthony Richardson
has always fucking hurt. He's never
available ever since he's
he's been there like i'm not saying he don't got a future one day but what fucking season are you not
going to be hurt and i'm not one of this niggas but look my nigga you have you said he played a
full season ever now he's always he said he was tired that was last year but before the year before
that he got hurt last year he got hurt too then he said he was tired because he was hurt but then
when he came back his conditioning must not have been good so then he was tired and then they put
Joe Flocka went for three, four weeks, then brought him back, and now he's back again hurt.
As far as, you know, I don't know if he's able to sustain a full season in the NFL.
Now, if we're talking about this being his third season, when are we going to see him be the future that he's supposed to be?
This is three years in a row that is some type of industry, I mean, pardon me, injury.
So I'm not putting faith into him because he can't see on the field.
That's first and foremost.
As far as Daniel Jones is concerned,
I can't say if he's the answer or not.
I think he has a spectacular game,
but not just that he had a spectacular game,
Miami had a terrible game.
From turnovers, the attitudes,
the headaches, the shit that lagged in the offseason,
bringing them to the first game of the season.
It was a good game combined with a terrible game from Miami.
So we'll see next week,
and I believe he'll play the week after that,
and then we'll see if Daniel Jones
can sustain their success.
that he had last Sunday,
but I don't know if he's the answer right now,
but at the end of the day,
I don't know if Anthony Richardson's the answer either
because he's always hurt.
You noticed we didn't say much about Tua.
What are you going to talk about?
He didn't do much to talk about.
I know.
This is crazy.
Yeah, and this is the problem why
that Tyree Killers is having a problem with.
Tua was 14 for 23,
114 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, three sacks.
Look, I think two are just trying his best not to get a concussion, man.
And that's what it basically boils down to, man.
Career on the line.
I ain't lying.
You know, that man, that ain't to get enough concussion.
They're going to say, that's it.
That's it.
It's over for you, nigger.
No more.
So I think that's where he's more focused on more than,
anything else. I think too comes to the locker room like, man, it was a good day. He didn't
get hurt. And he's excited. And they're like, no, bro. You're not playing. That's what matters.
Absolutely. Yeah. You got to think about this. Because think about, what you have to think about
this. And the football player's mind, they could tell you, look, it's like a boxer, too.
You got a boxer, right? And you see them getting beat up bad. And you're like, yo, bro, we got to
stop this fight. You're like, nah, niggas. Don't stop to fight,
nigga. I got two more. Like, yo, you don't see. And they're like, no. You're out on
your feet. You don't see what I see. Yeah. And then you have to think about it. It's only
but so many more times. And like I said, I'm into a fan. I think when he's healthy, he's really
good. But it's only but so many more times that you have a concussion before they give up
on you or before your family says, yo, now you're, you're scaring us. We want you to come
home and stop doing this.
This happens to boxers, too.
You've got to stop fighting, Martinique.
Your daughter is tired of looking
at you. We don't want you to have problems when you're
50, 60, 70 years old because of
what the damage that you're causing to yourself
in your 20s and 30s. And I believe
Tua is a concussion or
two away from not being in the NFL.
Okay. And these
are one of these should have could of whata situations
because now a lot of Dolphins fans
are like, we should have drafted
for Shador. So hypothetically speaking,
If that were the case, Maris, would you have liked to see that, Shador at Miami?
Yeah, I want to see Shador in Cleveland.
I would like to just give Shador a shot in NFL.
I think that, like, everybody else, if you give him time, you give him real game reps and real experience,
and you take out this circus show that they made as a variable in his career.
And obviously, it is what it is.
No pun intended, but I would like to see Shador.
just goes anywhere where he can play.
Okay.
And then real quick, Marys, before we wrap,
because you didn't get to talk about that Ohio State game versus Texas.
I feel like it's only right.
What were your thoughts, even though I know they're positive,
but you wanted to know your experience and all that there.
No, it was a phenomenal win.
I was, you know, I had the privilege to just see, you know,
Arch Manning.
I thought that that was cool, you know, hopefully, you know,
things go better for Arch and,
you know, he continues to have a career.
So it's kind of cool to see the young kid play inside the stadium.
And now Ohio State picked up where they left off, you know,
and that's what I was telling Cam, you know,
the last six or seven games prior to that,
they beat top five teams.
And so a lot of the success in that we had last year,
they basically continued over to this year, you know,
still early on the season, just beat Graham and 70 to nothing.
Graham came up here and played hard in much respect to them.
But it looks like Ohio State is on another war,
have to try to basically, you know, go out here
and run out of the National Championship.
But I'm excited for the season.
I'm down there every week and just hope that, you know,
things continue to work out and the team continues to get better.
Okay.
This nigga, yo, this nigga more.
This nigga mode, bro.
Listen, man, you're going to throw grambling in the black-on-black crime like that,
nigger?
You don't do that to the HBCU just to throw it out there.
She asked you about all she better,
and you're going to throw gambling that you smacked them,
niggas 70 to nothing.
That's fucked up, Mo.
You know damn well
they're trying to get it together,
but you're going to throw that shit out there
that you be gambling 70 to night.
You let niggas know it ain't no games this year
with nobody.
HBCU, blue, blue collard,
whatever the fuck, blue blood.
Niggas are probably on a repeat mission.
They throw gambling in there,
I filled out some bullshit.
That was fucked up, Mo.
But listen, man.
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
Listen to me.
I got a show coming out and a show is called Start With the Facts, right?
Yes.
So I'm just starting with the facts.
That's it.
And so whatever I say, if we start with the facts,
and so if the facts on the facts, we'd be on 70 to nothing.
I'm not bragging, I'm not being humble.
I'm just saying, hey, that was the facts in a situation.
That's it.
I ain't mad at you, nigga.
Talk that shit, man.
Because listen, when you're up, that's when it's time to talk.
But I like that type.
to start with the facts and make sure you let everybody know when it's,
well, we'll let everybody know when it's about the air and so on and so forth.
We're looking forward to the show.
But back to the original question, look, man, Texas came in right number one.
Archie Manning was this, you know, he's a Manning nephew son, grandson,
one of the Manning football royalty.
He stunk it up.
They didn't look good.
Of course, they was on the road, so they didn't play that well.
you know it's not easy to play it down there in Columbus but he stunk it up and when you're the
number one team in the country and you're supposed to be the number one quarterback in the
country I don't know if that was just ranking but I know he's top five um it's no excuse it's
no excuse you lost and he's been waiting your turn and he did not play good and you know I wasn't
going to act like I was disappointed you know I've been giving more a hard time pause because
he gave murder his t-shirt before I got my Ohio State t-shirt.
So I've been fucking with niggas about like I'm not Ohio,
but you know I really am Ohio.
I'm happy that they won.
But I told Mo, me and Mo was happening a little back and forth on line
because I'm like, Mo don't act like y'all killed, niggas.
That's what I'm saying.
This is the shit I'm talking about murder.
He wanted to go 70 to nothing.
But they didn't play that good against Texas.
They didn't, they, they wasn't world championship.
Buckeyes against Texas.
Y'all won the game,
but don't act like y'all killed them.
So you want to bring grambling in and to make up to say,
okay, we snuck away with a win, week one.
But let me let niggas know we beat the HBCU by 2 million points.
It was okay against Texas.
Y'all won, which mattered.
Y'all didn't look that great.
Now, the MVP of that game is Patricia.
You know, these niggas got the deal.
defensive coordinator of the fucking year coming from the NFL and they put the clamps on the
motherfuckers in Texas and obviously they put the clamps on gambling as well if they didn't
score any points. How much did Texas score seven points I believe if I'm not mistaken when they
out played them? So you got a total of seven points in two games with that Ohio State
Buckeye defense man. Patricia, he's getting that check that he deserved to get right now.
Yo, he sound like he's starting with the facts, Mo.
Are you Ohio?
That's your team, too.
I know, but I can't.
I go with the facts.
The thing about it is this, man.
I'm really a buck out, man.
Y'all niggas is Florida Gators when it's convenient.
You know, Miami.
Anything Florida for murder when it's convenient from Florida.
You know what I'm saying?
I can't do this right.
Right now.
That's what I'm saying?
Anything convenient.
I don't even know Milwaukee.
I don't even know how Mace got to Ohio.
I had never even been on the route.
That's not even part of your route.
Moe invited me.
The people invited me, Killer.
I sent my blessing.
And you let them down.
And I sent my blessing.
Let them down.
I was there in spirit.
Oh, no.
It spins cycles.
Wow.
The machine shaking.
He was damn spirit.
It's crazy.
Well, y'all, that is all the time that we have for today.
Maurice, it was a pleasure to have you back.
Word up, Mo, thank you, man.
Okay.
Thank you all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
What you want, nigger?
Everything nigger super size.
Two big necks.
Like when they doing them two for five.
