Starting point is 00:01:10 How you doing, man? I'm doing wonderful, man. See, the sweatsuit actually fits you, man. No, because you know, you haven't got a lot of new suits, so your suits are kind of big, Paul. So I said, maybe your face just, Pauz, got you. I didn't know if you really lost weight like that. But I said, I'm gonna get you the rest of the sweat suits
Starting point is 00:01:32 now I know it fit. You look good, man. You're six times larger, man. All right, I got you. I got you. We really wear the same size now, Pauz. All right, I got you. What is it?
Starting point is 00:01:44 Yeah, also congratulations on y'all's nominations. I got you. What is it? Yeah. Also congratulations on y'all's nominations. Hustler of the year, BET Hip Hop Awards. Oh my goodness. That's official? Official, official. Y'all nominated. That's why.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Oh man, that's what's up. Thank you BET, we appreciate it. Yeah. Okay, so today we have a very special episode. Born in Brooklyn, he became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at 20 years old. Out of his 50 wins, 44 were knockouts and he is set to make history again
Starting point is 00:02:12 in a fight against Jake Paul, who is 31 years younger than him. Introducing Mike Tyson. Mike, what's up man? I am Mike. Thanks for coming by, Mike. We appreciate you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:28 I was watching your guys on the show, your guys had suits, I was telling my wife I'm gonna wear a suit on the show. Just wear this, don't wear no fucking suit. Now you know it's casual Friday so we- I didn't know that, I would've been fucked up. Yeah. Yeah on Fridays and Friday mornings you know we- Well that's why I wanted to be on the show.
Starting point is 00:02:45 I said, boy, they got suits. I want to be on that show because I want to get fly with those suits. Oh yeah, come back. Come back on Monday. We're going to have our suits on Monday. Come back on Monday and we'll be suit up. But you're more than welcome to come on the show anytime.
Starting point is 00:02:56 Mike, you know, we're big fans. Thank you brother. We appreciate you actually showing up in person, man. My first question is this, what the fuck is wrong with Jake Paul? What's on his mind? Why would he want to fight you? I don't know, he's close to 60 years old
Starting point is 00:03:11 and he thinks... He thinks it's sweet? Yeah. Okay. He's gonna get paid a lot of money as well. Yeah, I mean, I ain't mad at that. What do you think about him as a boxer? Every fight that I've seen so far,
Starting point is 00:03:23 he hasn't actually fought a boxer. He fought a basketball player. He's fought UFC. A basketball player? Yeah, he fought Nick Robinson. That was his first knockout. Yeah, he fought a basketball player. He's fought some UFC fighters. He's never actually fought a boxer. What do you think when you look at him of his boxing skills?
Starting point is 00:03:46 I don't know. He's improved. Since the first time he fought him, well I started him off. Okay. And started Jake off. What do you mean you started him off? I let him fight on my undercard four years ago.
Starting point is 00:04:01 No one knew who the hell he was. Okay. So I started him and most likely looks like I'm gonna finish him. Yeah, that's what I like to hear, exactly. You guys see? Why you say most likely, Mike? Well, it's most likely, most likely,
Starting point is 00:04:22 it's possibly yes, you know. Alright. Okay, that yes, you know. Alright. Okay, that's what's up. Watching your career, you know, I'm a big Mike Tyson fan. Of course, I'm from Harlem, and I know you're from Brooklyn, but you spent a lot of time in Harlem. Like, I was probably eight, nine years old when fuck bitch green up.
Starting point is 00:04:44 You that young and 88? How old were you in 88? Eight dollars eleven. Twelve, twelve actually. Twelve years old and nineteen. You a man, twelve's a man. Yeah, yeah so, yeah twelve's a man. But I mean I was around for that.
Starting point is 00:04:56 See Mitch used to come to my block and buy a lot of dust so we's actually seen his eye. Was he a bully? You was bullying people around there? Nah, we would've shot the shit out of Mitch. Mitch used to tie up the guy in the gas station and go pump the gas and collect the money. Oh, nah, I ain't know it.
Starting point is 00:05:10 See, niggas on my block would've- Yeah, wow. Yeah, Mitch was, but that nigga was like, my block was formerly a big dust block, so all the famous people used to come to my block to get dust, and we actually seen Mitch's eye after that shit happened. Like, I didn't have to read the New York Post or the Daily News, I actually seen Mitch's eye fucked up
Starting point is 00:05:32 purchasing dust from people on my block. And nobody, he wasn't gonna bully nobody on my block, they would've shot the shit out of Mitch. His career would've been over a long time ago. But growing up in Harlem, I mean, and just knowing your personality, why did you like to hang out in Harlem so much? Had beautiful women up there.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Oh man, yeah. Yeah. You liked that woman? Incredible, yeah. It was totally different in New York. Wasn't dangerous, everybody was pretty classy up there, even though it was the hood. They were totally different people.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Right, and dapper there too. Yeah, very classy people. Used to be in front of Daps a lot as well. Cool people. Right. What is one of the biggest lessons, cause I know that you attribute a lot of your career to custom model, what's one of the biggest lessons
Starting point is 00:06:15 you learned working with CUSC? That, never to give up in life. You know what I mean? Confidence breeds success, success breeds confidence. And if you apply your confidence properly to supersede the genius, it's all about confidence. Life is all about confidence. Got you.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Also, it's like stories like, with Teddy Atlas, they love you, Mike. What is that shit like? Cause you know what, I think I'm famous. I was on a flight with Mike about a month and a half ago and I get annoyed sometimes. Not annoyed cause you know, once we come out, to come out you gotta sign your pictures,
Starting point is 00:06:53 kiss the baby, everything. But just Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike. I seen the shit with my own two eyes. Do you get annoyed with that sometimes? I used to when I was younger. Right. But then I realized it comes with the job. Right.
Starting point is 00:07:09 All this comes, and I really wanted it. This is what I want. I want the whole world to look at me and touch me and want to pay me and just want to be in my presence. Right. This is what I wanted. Exactly. What's one of your toughest fights you had?
Starting point is 00:07:22 Shit. Razor Ruddick. Razorudik. Razorudik? Guy from Jamaica, yeah. I've seen that fight. He's pretty tough. So that's one of the toughest fights that you had and you still won, but you lost some fights.
Starting point is 00:07:36 You don't think the fights that you lost were tougher than the ones that you actually won? No, no, no, because the fights that I lost, those were my best fights. Right. I say because that was my learning stage in life. What did I learn by kicking these guys' asses in two seconds? Right.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Check this out. They beat me. And if you're an average person walking down the street, if know, if you're a housewife, you know me, but you wouldn't know who beat me. Right. You know, so what's that tell you? Very true. You know, and anybody that beat me, they became legendary.
Starting point is 00:08:16 That's because they beat me. That's the only reason somebody know you, because you beat me. And it's all been, and it's all, and it's not nothing equal to school. It's all the learning lesson. Gotcha. It's all something I learned that made me a better person. Losses, losses, you learn more from your loss
Starting point is 00:08:32 than you do from your win. Understood, understood. That's a good one. You learn not necessarily how to beat him the next time, but you learn about people and friends and people you think your friends are. I'm talking about life, not about the ring. Life experiences as opposed to just losing a fight.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Yeah. Gotcha. That was good. Yo Mike, everywhere I used to go in Harlem, there'd be people saying you gave them a car. What was your thing with giving people cars? And they would be like luxury cars like Bentley's and, I remember one time Ed Lover, somebody said,
Starting point is 00:09:04 Mike just left the car with me. I found out loving yourself is not buying you a car, loving yourself is buying someone else a car. So you don't love me, baby. You love yourself, yeah. I said that. So listen, listen, Pete Gatton. I love you so much. I love you so much. I love you so much. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that.
Starting point is 00:09:27 I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that.
Starting point is 00:09:35 I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that.
Starting point is 00:09:43 I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. I said that. why wouldn't I wanna give you a car? I have, what, close to $400 to $600 million and I don't wanna buy you a car, I don't wanna give me, what kind of person am I? No, what kind of person am I if I don't wanna look at anybody else? Do I wanna be the only person fly? Do I wanna do that?
Starting point is 00:09:59 I wanna be the only place to fly and everybody else wanna be bummed, I don't wanna do that. Absolutely. Speaking of fly, listen, it was a movie and I watched it. Then I found out you had nothing to do with somebody portraying your life. What do you feel when people do things like that?
Starting point is 00:10:18 I would be pissed the fuck off if somebody does the Cameron Giles story. I have no input on it. You have a fighting family, huh? You have family, yeah, that name. Billy Giles is my uncle, Camacho. I know that name, that's a fighting name. Aaron Davis, I have some champions in my crib.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Billy Giles is, shout out to my uncle Bill. I always wanted to say that to you. You have a fighter, you're fighting him, you have a fighting family. Yeah, thank you, man, I appreciate that. What would you feel like, how does it feel I was gonna ask you, because I would be upset if somebody portrayed my life, I had no input on it,
Starting point is 00:10:51 and then I had to watch it, whether you watched it or not, what do you feel about that, somebody portraying your life and you had no input on it? It's the biggest form of flattery. Right. And they made me look too good, I was a poor, I was a fucking sewer system kid. They made me look like I had a nice clean house.
Starting point is 00:11:06 My mother was smart and articulate. It was just a joke. It was a joke. So you actually did watch it though? It was just really bad. Listen, they made my house clean. I was neat. My mother was articulate, nice, and everybody was,
Starting point is 00:11:22 it was a joke. My house raps and rugs and shit on the floor. It was, they don't know my life, man. Made you into the Fresh Prince of Brooklyn. Yeah, they made me look good on tour. I think they made me look really good. What about when they was in the limousine when Shorty had the belt and he was having sex with her
Starting point is 00:11:39 while she had the belt on? The championship belt. Yeah, I done that, that happened. That was great. Yeah. They read from my book, that happened. That was great. Yeah. Yeah. They read from my book, that's why they. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:49 That was crazy. Listen, I wanted to ask you this, cause you know, I heard this story a hundred different times, but I'm like, Mike is actually, I'm gonna ask him this. When they talk about you as burning during a fight, so you beat up Mike. Yeah, my championship fight, my first belt. Yeah, with Michael Spinks.
Starting point is 00:12:04 No, with Trevor Burbank. Oh, it Spinks. No, with Trevor Burbank. Oh, it was with Trevor Burbank. Is that true? Yeah, it was, oh man. So you fucked him up and went straight to the hospital? I mean, I burned the fucking house down, man. I was like, what the fuck? I'd never been burnt before, man.
Starting point is 00:12:18 And I'm looking at my underwear, and I'm like, uh-uh, this is not right. So I asked one of the trainers, I said, what is this? And he said, mm, that don't look good, Mike. You know, he got puss in my fucking drawers. You know, and that don't look good, Mike. You know, and it's like green. It's like green and yellow is green.
Starting point is 00:12:35 You know, you got- Yeah, I'm like, ah. I'm like, what the fuck? And I got scared. I never had that before. I got scared. You can't pee or nothing. It's fucked up.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Oh man, you pee, you burn the house down, right? You know what's crazy, Mike, and I don't mean to veer off, man, but we went to the free clinic one time, and Maze went with me. Maze went and touched nobody, he's like, you got us in here. 37th and Fifth Avenue.
Starting point is 00:13:04 That's how I learned it, you know, I didn't have sex, I wasn't one of those guys I'm 37th and Fifth Avenue. That's how I learned it. I didn't have sex. I wasn't one of those guys. I didn't have sex until I was like 17, 18. I was a late star. No one liked me and stuff. I wasn't a popular person.
Starting point is 00:13:14 I was always bummy. I didn't have no clothes. I was just one of those guys. But you're amazing. I forget who was, I think it was AJ, somebody. He went touch the wall. He didn't want to touch the door. You're right. But yeah, Mason, I forget who was, I think it was AJ, somebody, he was in there, he wouldn't touch the wall, he didn't wanna touch the door. He wouldn't touch nothing.
Starting point is 00:13:30 He wasn't in there. I just thought about that. Over the years. Yeah, that shit was crazy. It seemed like a roller coaster ride, just from what we hear, we have no knowledge or facts about anything. But let me ask you first part, where's your relationship with Don King today?
Starting point is 00:13:55 You know, Don is not doing well right now. He's probably close to a hundred years old, he's not doing well. And he had called me one day and he asked, we spoke, we spoke and at the end of the game he said we love each other. What's what's up? I didn't know that prayer is for Darn King.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Yeah. What's what's up? Do you feel that Darn King got over on you in the beginning of your career? No, I believe Darn King, he pretty much educated me. Okay. You know, he pretty much educated me. You know, that would never happen again. See, that's the difference about getting to take an advantage of being a business experience.
Starting point is 00:14:32 So that won't happen again. So now you're going in life with experience, so now that's not gonna ever happen again. Maybe something else, but that's not gonna happen again. Absolutely. Did you have to put your hands on him? Well, I was, yeah. Yeah, yeah. You know Mike put your hands on him? Well, I was, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:47 You know Mike put his hands on him. And that's what I'm saying. That's why it's cool. Me and Mike was on Jimmy Kimmel before. I was looking at old footage and I was like, yeah, me and Mike, I knew you was at the Source Awards, but we never really got a chance to have in-depth conversation. We were different people back then. Absolutely. 100%, absolutely. Is it true that he dropped off duffel bags of money
Starting point is 00:15:08 for you when you were pissed off as well? Yeah. Yeah. And that calm'd you down? No, he had had money. Zip took the money, you remember Zip? Ron Zip? Yeah, he took the money from Zgon. Right. I got two good questions.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Hold on real quick, man. So Don had the money, Zip took it and bought it to you? Yeah. Okay, I'm just checking. No, Zip, he wasn't giving me the money. Zip took the money and bought it to me. Okay, I understand what you're saying. It was for something else.
Starting point is 00:15:39 He wasn't giving me, it was a bundle of money for somebody else and Zip took it and gave it to me. And bought it to you. So basically the money wasn't for you. Zip said, give me the, it was a bundle of money for somebody else and Zip took it and gave it to me. I bought it to you, so basically the money wasn't for you. Zip said, give me the money, bought it to you. RIP my man Von Zip as well. Mace, you said you, huh? No, he said, give me the fucking money.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Let's be clear. Yeah. Call him, nigga. I know what's gonna happen. Give me the fucking money. Give me the fucking money. Sorry Mace, you said you had something. That's good.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Yeah, I got a good question for you. I know you like, I know you like hip hop a lot, so, and I know you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you.
Starting point is 00:16:16 I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you.
Starting point is 00:16:23 I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. I love you, I love you. and we got, he was, believe it or not, Biggie was a real shy guy. He doesn't talk that much, you know, he just wanted to know how much the house cost and stuff. But he was a really nice, shy guy. Right. Mm, no, that's good.
Starting point is 00:16:35 You said you had another question? Yeah, and I also know that you had experiences with two faiths, right? You had Christian and Muslim, right? Is that correct? Yeah. Which one was your better experience and why? They both were, cause they're both learning experiences.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Yeah. And you learned that no one's better than anyone else. The object is that we all have to worship God. Yeah. And I'm used to believing in worshiping God and God wants you to take care of your family, your friends, and he doesn't want you to kill a bunch of motherfuckers, you know?
Starting point is 00:17:12 That's not God. I don't know, but you know, we don't know, I don't know what God is. You know, I just know what I read about God, this is not what he's about. Right. I wanna go back to Von Zip now that you brought him up. Cause you hung out with Von Zip a lot.
Starting point is 00:17:28 It was a time I was watching one of your fights. And this is after you came home and everything. And I was like, is that Von Zip in the fucking corner? Like Von Zip was a corner man one time in one of your fights. What was the relationship between you and Von Zip? And for those that don't know Von Zip, the reason why this question is important for me,
Starting point is 00:17:48 he's like a Harlem legend, he's a little older than me. We had nightclubs, cars, everything. These were one of the people that I grew up watching, saying, who is this guy? I actually- What does he do? What does he do? I actually seen it was raining, then it stopped raining.
Starting point is 00:18:03 The nigga went and took his mink and started wiping the car roof when the fucking rain stopped. I said, who is this nigga? So. Yeah, every car and every watch. Yeah, so then Mike was hanging out with him, so that only increased his legend.
Starting point is 00:18:18 What was your relationship with Von Zip? He's the godfather of my children. Okay. Yeah. Okay, got you. That's what's up. What do you see in store outside of boxing for you? Do you wanna do more movies, more acting, more voiceovers?
Starting point is 00:18:36 What do you wanna do besides, you know, fuck Jake Paul up coming up? I'm pretty simple, I really wanna do anything. I'm pretty happy with my position in life right now. That's what's up. If I want to do something with some friends of mine, let's do this together from a friendly perspective, not necessarily for some cats or some friends
Starting point is 00:18:54 doing some shit like the hangover, those are my friends. Right. Yeah. That's what's up. What made you start smoking weed? I smoked weed all my life. Your whole life? Yeah. I never knew. So you was fucking everybody up high?
Starting point is 00:19:05 Like not saying high during the fight. No, listen. Or when you train you don't smoke? I was born an addict. Okay. I was born that way. I'm a junkie. So that's just how I was born.
Starting point is 00:19:16 I don't know what to do. I don't get high now, but that's who I am. I switched my addiction to something else, but I'm a junkie, yeah. Do you smoke during training? My father was a junkie, my father, it's just I am. I switched my addiction to something else, but I'm a junkie, yeah. Do you smoke during training? My mother was a junkie, my father, it's just, that's who I am. I understand, I completely understand.
Starting point is 00:19:31 When you're training, do you smoke? Were you during your training care for the man? I was smoking not too long ago. Okay. I'm cool now, probably what, two weeks or something when I was smoking that. Okay, gotcha. Did a little mushroom before I came here though.
Starting point is 00:19:42 Oh, you lived in a little mellow, okay. I did a little mushroom before I came here though. Oh, you lived in a little mellow, okay. I did a little mushroom too. How you doing brother? You got anything for Mike? Yeah, I do. Okay, so obviously your name carries a lot of weight and I feel like, yes. So I feel like when people hear Mike Tyson,
Starting point is 00:19:59 they're just like, okay, like he fights a lot of people. He's known for knocking people out. Do you feel like there's ever a time for fighters to show weakness, or do you feel like you have to hide that, or is that just something that you don't feel? What's your perception of weakness? Weakness is kind of being, how do I explain that?
Starting point is 00:20:15 Like being vulnerable, really. Do you feel like you can ever be that type? Yeah, I like to believe that I'm vulnerable every moment of my life. Walking the streets, I'm vulnerable. And here with your guys, I'm very vulnerable. Anything can come in, I'm vulnerable. We're all vulnerable.
Starting point is 00:20:32 We can't help, we believe we're not vulnerable, but that's just a false sense of security. We're all vulnerable. Yeah, great answer. Yeah, I wanted to ask, because I just feel like the perception is just, when people see you or hear you, they're just like, Mike Tyson, but I'm just like, how, how does that affect you? And how do you feel about that? When you hear people say that? Well, Mike Tyson? Yeah. That's what I worked for. If they don't say that, and then another question. So this is kind of like mixing fighting and football.
Starting point is 00:21:07 So there's a situation with Tua, he's a Miami Dolphins quarterback. Tell me this again, who? Tua. Okay. The quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, right? He had a couple of concussion injuries and everybody's. Wait, from New Zealand?
Starting point is 00:21:19 No, he's. Tonga? Yes. Yeah. Yes, okay, so he had a couple like concussion incidents and everybody's trying to tell him that he should stop playing. So my question for you is, in what case do you feel like it's necessary for an athlete to stop playing their sport? Because everybody else is trying to tell him how he should feel. But at the end of the day, that comes to him. So for you, when do you feel like you should let a sport go? Or you feel like, basically how do you feel about that? Well, listen, let me explain this to you. There's some athletes you have to protect them from themselves because they would rather die than quit.
Starting point is 00:21:56 So that answers the question, yeah. That's really good. Mike, if you wasn't a boxer, what sport you think you'll play very well outside of boxing? If I wasn't a boxer, I'd be a criminal. I don't like any other sports but fighting. I'd be a criminal. I'm using that sound.
Starting point is 00:22:20 That's where I was going until I got discovered in juvenile detention centers and somebody taught me how to box but that's where my life was going until I got discovered in juvenile detention centers and somebody taught me how to box but that's where my life was going. Wow. All my friends, all these guys, Boy George and all those guys, I met all these guys in Sparfit. All these guys, Blue Boy, all these killers,
Starting point is 00:22:38 all these psych, men and men. Boy George, man, I forgot about you. Boy George. I met them all in Sparfit and Upstate, being locked up Upstate as kids. That's what's up. Is there anybody that you fought that you was like, damn, I don't want to fight him?
Starting point is 00:22:53 Or you felt bad after you beat anybody? No, no, no, no. Looked like you felt bad after you fucked Larry Holmes up. No, no, because he did a good job with Muhammad Ali. That was the purpose. That was your revenge? October 2nd, 1980, me and my No, no, because he did a good job with Muhammad Ali. That was the purpose. How was your revenge? October 2nd, 1980, me and my mentor, custom model, we all went to see Ali fight Larry Holmes
Starting point is 00:23:11 and he knocked Ali out. And then we drove in the car, it was just dead quiet in the car. We drove, went to the house, went to bed. And the next morning, custom said, you have to revenge him. That was the mission? Yeah, that was the mission.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Wow. I didn't know that, man. Y'all got anything else for Mike? Mike was menacing. Mike can knock you out and then want to hug you. How many years later was that, though? Excuse me? How many years later was that?
Starting point is 00:23:38 It was 80 and then six years later. Yeah. No, eight years later, I'm sorry. Yeah, because I watched that fight, too. That was pretty bad. I like Larry Holmes. He's pretty boring. I do, too. I, I'm sorry. Yeah, because I watched that fight too. That was pretty bad. I like Larry Holmes. He's pretty boring. I do too.
Starting point is 00:23:49 I liked him a lot. Do you think that they jerked him when he was 49 and 0 and he could have went for it? Yes. You think he got robbed of that? Yes, yes. Yeah, I think so too. Y'all got anything else for Mike?
Starting point is 00:23:59 Yeah, one more. I'm just curious, what's the- Now your mother fuckers brought me here for 10 minutes. Oh, yeah. Mike, you want to stay the whole show? for 10 minutes. Oh, you're like, yeah, so Mike. You wanna stay the whole show? Yeah, Mike. Mike, you wanna stay, yo Mike, you can stay the whole show.
Starting point is 00:24:10 I'm fucking with you. Now, matter of fact, let Mike stay for everything. Yeah, yeah, Mike. Who else you got coming in here? Mike's gonna stay the whole show. Oh, Mike. Thank you. Mike, who would win out of Shakur in the home, Javante?
Starting point is 00:24:22 Yeah, Javante Davis? Yeah. Wow, that's a good fight. That's a good fight. I like to go with Tank because of the, you know, everyone's gonna go with Tank, you know, but it would be a very interesting fight. How could, for us that are not boxing analysts,
Starting point is 00:24:40 how could Shakur beat him if he can't hurt him? That would be my question. Listen, you don't have to hurt him, you just have to outscore him. You know, Shakur takes a good shot though, you know? He's a specialist, that's why some fights that he doesn't look good in, because he's so superior. And it's just, it's boring watching sometimes.
Starting point is 00:25:02 But he's a specialist, he knows what he's doing, he's hard to beat. So when the speed picks up and aggression starts. To make him, to bring out the best in Shakur, you gotta pressure him like Tank. Tank will bring out the best of him and we'll see a great fight. Tank is just a monster right now.
Starting point is 00:25:19 What do you think, talking about that, and just to jump off, because that was a great question, Mase. When boxers, when you get critiqued, because Shakur's mad at us, because we- He wants to fight. Yeah, he wants to fight both of us, actually. He wants to fight Treasure too, I believe.
Starting point is 00:25:38 He wants to fight the whole show. Because we said that his last fight was boring, which a lot of people said, but I guess, because who we are on our platform or whatever, he was really upset. Were you that type of fighter as well, did somebody critique the match about you, or somebody said you didn't look good,
Starting point is 00:25:56 or somebody said Michael's good? You're entitled to their opinion. I may be a little shitty about it, but you're entitled to their opinion. I'm not gonna kick your ass about it, give you fever about it, that's your opinion. Yeah, we weren't Larry Merchant about it. You know, Larry Merchant make you wanna fight.
Starting point is 00:26:10 No, the whole thing about it is we just was reporting a fight. We said everything that we, everybody else said. I just think because it's me and you and me is more. If you can't listen, if you can't handle criticism, get out the game. Get out the, you can't kick everybody's ass. Too many people have their own opinions,
Starting point is 00:26:26 have to accept it and go on. What do you think about Terrence Crawford calling out Canelo? You know, I don't like that fight. Why not? I don't like that fight, it's just too much weight. He had a close fight with the last guy he fought, because this guy was big and he was awkward. He was really awkward.
Starting point is 00:26:51 He shouldn't have fought that guy. He should have fought a guy that would just come straight at him. The guy was too awkward. He was herky-jerky. Yeah, and Dora wanted him. Yep. See, there's a myth in the art now in boxing
Starting point is 00:27:02 that there's matchmaking. They don't know how to make matches. A guy like Shakur, you get a guy, you need a guy that's gonna attack him, constantly attack him, that brings out the best of him. He ain't gonna be good with a guy that's gonna just stand in front of him and just think he's not gonna beat three of his best.
Starting point is 00:27:17 His best is when somebody's attacking him. So when it comes to Canelo, what do you think makes him not fight Benavides? Because that's the fight everybody really wants to see. Well, I don't know Because he seems to fight everybody. We need to bring him here and ask him that That's a big fight for him. You don't want to fight him I don't know, you know, we have to talk toelo about that. And when does it become a duck though? When does it become a duck?
Starting point is 00:27:48 Basically you're saying when is it gonna be like stop running from, it seems like you're running. Well, it appears that way to everybody in the world as he's running from the guy. Well, he's not gonna fight the guy. You know, he doesn't wanna fight the guy. Right. Who's the pound for pound champ to you right now in boxing?
Starting point is 00:28:04 Right. Who's the pound for pound champ to you right now in boxing? Wow. Benavides, Tank, there's no one guy. Crawford, there's an array of great fighters out here. Speaking of matchmaking, what is a good fight out there for Crawford right now. What's a good fight for him? Because I agree with you, when it comes to Canelo, and what you just said, I said, the last few fights, Terrence Crawford at 147, seems like if it's a close fight, he'll walk you down and can knock you out. The last guy at 154 was too herky-jerky and he's kinda too big, obviously.
Starting point is 00:28:39 I want to see him fight on one of the Cholo Brothers. Okay. That's what I was gonna say. Cholo Brothers is a young brother from Philadelphia. I forgot his name. Yeah. And this. And this, yeah, now.
Starting point is 00:28:50 And this. That's a, they're the same way, even the Cholo Brothers. I wanna see, I wanna see in his boots, fight one of the Cholo Brothers, then come back down. See, that's the thing about, that's what I was gonna ask you. See, that's the kind of stuff I used to do.
Starting point is 00:29:03 You know, Sugar Ray, Lennon, those guys, they go up and wave up and wave fight a guy and get the belt back and come back to welterweight used to show I could bring that belt. How good they are. There's no ego in boxing now they just talking shit but there's no real ego. Right. Ego is going after this motherfucker. Yeah that's what that's what I was saying it's like even when he's calling out Canelo I was saying that to me it's a lose-lose for Canelo because if you lose, you lost to somebody who walks around lighter than you.
Starting point is 00:29:30 Then if you win, you're gonna say you are 20 pounds bigger than the guy. Yeah, weight-wise. So I'm like, what would be a great fight? But if you're saying one of the Charlo Brothers, they had 161, 168, too. Do you think that's gonna be a good fight for Terrence? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:44 The smaller one, pause. Yeah. And what about Ennis? Ennis should fight the 154 pound cholo and come back down. Which one is that that had the belt set on 154? That was Jamel or Jamal? I don't know these guys.
Starting point is 00:30:00 I know them, but I don't know which one is which, the twins. The smaller one, pause pauses the better one. I think him and Innis will be a great fight. What do you think about right now, because we haven't really heard about him or, I'm not sure if he's about to fight or what's going on, after such a devastating loss to Terrence Crawford,
Starting point is 00:30:20 what do you see for Aerospan's move before? This guy's the limits, man. That don't mean nothing to loss. To somebody like that, that mean nothing. Right. Doesn't mean nothing. He still make a lot of money. See, this is what fighters now,
Starting point is 00:30:33 they lose a fight, they get discouraged and shit. I might not do this no more. You know, that's what life's about. You don't get discouraged. Boxing, fighting, you know, emulates life. In life, we're gonna lose whatever. We'll lose our job, we'll lose our mother, lose our teeth, lose our hair,
Starting point is 00:30:48 and we gotta continue to live. Right. And continue to navigate. Yeah, what made them put so much focus on one loss, though? I don't remember boxing being like that. Now that's, they're not experienced fighters. You know, they're not professionals. A professional fighter like this.
Starting point is 00:31:06 If you're my friend, listen, like in the 30s, if you're my friend, you're the hottest fighter in the world right now, fight me. Help me make some money for my family. These guys are too much eagles. Yo, brother, help me make some money for my family. Spence and Crawford fought, thank you, brother. Now they went to their separate banks, they're happy.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Don't get caught up, I got my ass kicked, oh God, the world saw me. Me and my man, we made some money, we're taking care of our family now. We're doing better than we did before we had fights. I look at this business, this is business. If you my friend, you really care about me, give me a fight, man, help me out.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Right. You know, where the Toppix movies gonna talk about, actually, on the show, and being a fight, man, help me out. Right. You know, what are the topics where we's gonna talk about actually on the show and being that you here, why not bring it up now? What do you think about Dana White coming into boxing and help in boxing now? Is he really in boxing now? Yeah, so the quote-
Starting point is 00:31:57 Tell me, tell me, I like that, I like that. Yeah, so he said, there'll be some big announcements soon. I never say anything I don't do ever. We've been kicking the whole boxing thing around for a long time, but you've never heard me commit and say I'm in, I'm in. That's what he said.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Well, listen, that's gonna be the best thing to happen to boxing. Because then, listen, just like UFC, right? If you got a, listen, if you and UFC, and if anybody's booing a fight, you're not gonna see that guy the next fight is gonna be in South Dakota somewhere. Right. Okay, only good fights. If you don's booing a fight, you're not gonna see that guy the next fight is gonna be in South Dakota somewhere. Okay, only good fights.
Starting point is 00:32:27 You don't have a good fight, you're never gonna see that guy again. Not like boxing, oh this guy's gonna fight next month again. You don't wanna see that. Like you might think about, I'm secure. If any stink fight, you're not back in the UFC, you're never gonna see those guys again. And I like Dana White
Starting point is 00:32:42 because he makes you fight the best talent. Yeah, you gotta do that. And it's not a long wait, neither. It's not one of them next years. By the time they foot it out of that prime. Right, exactly. He makes them fights happen immediately. What you think about this, Mace?
Starting point is 00:32:58 I think anything with Dana White is when it comes to fighting, it's going to be superb because he pushes the envelope. I look at Ronda Rousey all of the people that were up there no matter how high they got unlike other boxing promoters they try to preserve this this great talent. He's like no you're gonna fight today. These fighters don't have all that money they got they got paid but they didn't get all that money. Yeah. Ask these guys you, just talk to some of these guys, hey, did you get paid from that fight? Ask Canelo and these guys,
Starting point is 00:33:30 these guys, these fighters don't pay them their money. Hey, we got a 20 million dollar fight. Well, we got eight, we gotta give you the next, we gotta find out how to get the next. We lost this, they make up excuses. That's crazy. They don't get all the money? Nah.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Nah. What do you mean? Jack and that. What do you mean? they don't get all the money? Nah. Nah. Oh, no, I'm not jacking that. What do you mean? I don't understand that. So, it's just enough, hey, I can't explain it, but it never works out that way. I got 20 million, hey, why don't I have the 20 million? It just doesn't work out that way.
Starting point is 00:33:58 I don't get that. I mean, you don't, if you're both- That would be horrible in rap. Yeah, they get that. You don't do it, they never get dude, you don't always get what they say they're gonna give you. So how does that work? Let's say for instance-
Starting point is 00:34:10 You see that Oscar Delahoye was fighting with Canelo about that, right? Triple G was talking about Triple G didn't get his money. I don't know, but they were beefing about that. So how much of the money, like what percentage that they probably won't get of the money? Listen, I'm the reason, the most a manager can get now is 20% before with 33 and a third and I stopped that and I made it only to 20%.
Starting point is 00:34:35 I'm saying, so the money that's due on the back end, pause, what amount of money that you say a fighter would not get? Like they'll be waiting for this amount. what amount of money that you say a fighter would not get? They'll be waiting for this amount. So if it was 20 million, how much they getting up front? All right, say you got 20 million, right? And the guy may give you eight, say, hey, we gotta wait for the money to come back.
Starting point is 00:34:57 We gotta wait for, we gotta wait certain amount of time for a close circuit to pay us, or some bullshit like that. So you get knocked out, you only got eight, and you waiting on the 12, Mike? Well listen, it may come, but it may come after you have two more fights though, you know? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Starting point is 00:35:14 It depends on what kind of scumbag you're working with. You know? That's not a breach of the contract? Hey listen man, the boxing boxing some sleazy shit. You talking about some real animals, man. They should be shot. Most of these people boxing should be shot, man. That is crazy.
Starting point is 00:35:37 That's why I was gonna ask, so like pay per view. Cause I was controlled, if the boxer's in control of all the money, then he's good. But you got somebody else controlling the money. They're getting paid before you get, they getting the money before you get it. Nah, that's, you know how that is. You can't have somebody say,
Starting point is 00:35:53 hey, I'm gonna get the money first. I'm gonna do what I'm gonna do. Then here's your half. You can't do it. The fighter has to get the, all the money goes to the fighter. Right. Yeah, cause I was just about to say that.
Starting point is 00:36:02 That's my opinion. No, I agree with you. But the fighter is so brainwashed, you said no, give it to my manager. They brainwashed, the fighter's Right. Yeah, cause I was just about to say- It's my opinion. No, I agree with you. But the fighter's so brainwashed, you said, no, give it to my manager. They brainwashed, the fighter's a brainwasher. But it's not just fighters too, it's sometimes it's a lot of athletes, cause we'll sit there, we do business with athletes,
Starting point is 00:36:15 and we're talking to the athlete directly about money. Unless they talk to my agent. They don't listen. And I'm like, we're talking to you now, so you're already putting somebody else that's gonna take away like, we're talking to you now. So you're already putting somebody else that's gonna take away money that we could give to you directly, but you want us to talk to an agent
Starting point is 00:36:30 that's gonna take a percentage of what we was gonna give you anyway, but they're so used to having somebody talk for them. Hey listen, let me know, during the time slavery, 1860s, when we were fighting the war to free ourself, there was slaves fighting to stay in slavery. So the mentality's still here.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Yeah, I like that. What do you call them niggas? Niggas. Niggas. Yeah, what do you call them niggas? What you mean you want to be free? Yeah, that's good. They ain't know what's going to treat you good out there by yourself. You crazy? You crazy? You crazy? You stay in flavor. What you mean you wanna be free? Yeah, that's good.
Starting point is 00:37:06 They ain't know what gonna treat you good out there by yourself. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh man. Yeah, we gotta brace that. Okay, we're gonna go to break.
Starting point is 00:37:16 When we return, we will discuss the Jets versus the Patriots. Don't go anywhere. Welcome back. Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day on Sunday. The Falcons will play the Chiefs underdog has Patrick Mahomes at two hundred and sixty four and a half passing yards. do you have him higher or lower mace? I'm going higher. If it was 460, I would go higher.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Pause. Who they playing? The Falcons. I'm gonna go higher. We'll see what my man Kirk Cousins do, man. I'm excited about this. Okay. Le'John Robinson.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Now fuck that shit, your niggas didn't hear about the nigga Nazi. They didn't hear about that shit. I like this guy, you know, but he's bad, he's bad, he's gotta go, but I like this guy, he's gotta go, he's real bad, he's real bad, he's real bad, he's real bad. Who's the nigga nasty? What nigga nasty, Mike? Read about him, please sister, read about him. Tell him what he said on the porn site.
Starting point is 00:38:16 I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit.
Starting point is 00:38:24 I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. I love this shit. Who's a nigga Nazi? Who's a nigga Nazi? Read about him, please sister, read about him. Tell him what he said on the porn site. I love this guy. Why a nigga Nazi? Wait, nigga Nazi? Oh you talking about Mark Robinson? That's the nigga. He referred himself as black Nazi
Starting point is 00:38:40 and expressed support for reinstating slavery and said he enjoyed watching transgender porn. Oh, this is a nigga Nazi for real. He said, huh? He wants to reinforce slavery. How you feel about this nigga, Mike? He's entertaining, I like it.
Starting point is 00:38:59 I like him a lot. I enjoy laughing, so I love him. Yo Nick, while we talking, pull up some video with this nigga, Nick. Woo, you got, this is a duper, yes, let's do this. Yo Nick, I wanna get some more info, but while we're talking about him, please find a clip so I can acknowledge myself
Starting point is 00:39:22 on who the fuck this nigga is. You go trip, you gotta say, I'll get this shit for real? Yeah. Trump said, hey, you need to stay down. Cause Trump said he's Martin Luther King on steroids. Nah, he's, he's. So Trump wanted to stay low, he wanted him out the way.
Starting point is 00:39:36 Fuck, why'd I say that? I endorsed this guy and this guy's perved out. Fuck my election now. Why they finding footage, why my guy Nick is finding footage, what's his name, Seth? Mark Robinson. You gotta see this nigga. No, no, my guy is good, he gonna find some footage for us. Why are you finding that?
Starting point is 00:39:56 What you think about this election? Trump's gonna win. Is that who you want to win? Yeah, that would be nice if he win, yeah. Why do you want want to win? Yeah, that would be nice if he won you. All right. Why do you want Trump to win? That's his man. He a wild nigga though, right? That's my reason. Joe one of them don't give a fuck type niggas.
Starting point is 00:40:17 Is that the reason you want to win? Nah, he's just a good man. You know, we listen, I don't agree with all this shit. Like nobody agrees with all my shit, but you know, they're good people. I mean, no one's perfect in this world. Everybody got their shit, you know. Right.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Mike, wasn't you at the Trump party back in the days? All the time, I was. I think we was all there. I'm the reason it was the party, it was my party. It came to my party, nigga. He used to put me, I used to fight in his hotel when I was a kid. Mark.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Yeah. That's what's up. 15 times there. That's what's up, man. Who you ballin' for, Murda? You know I'm conservative, so I'm probably, I'm probably on the side of Trump. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Yeah. What you looking at me for? I thought you were gonna answer. She didn't like my answer. I didn't say anything. I'm probably on the side of Trump. Okay. Yeah. What you looking at me for? I thought you were gonna answer. She didn't like my answer. I didn't say anything. You suck. She put her eyes down.
Starting point is 00:41:10 I didn't say anything. She looked at me like. I didn't say anything. I'm full of women power and all that. Killer don't think I am, but I'm for it. I never said that. That's also not a correlation. Why would you throw me in that?
Starting point is 00:41:21 I never even said, first of all, I've never voted in my life. I know people like. No, you never did? Like, Cam. That's what I was gonna say. You said you were, first of all, I've never voted in my life. I know people like, you know, like Cam. That's what I was gonna say, you said you never voted. Hey listen, I never voted either. I got to be honest. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:31 The only time I ever voted was for, and I don't know what to vote for, Obama. I just did that out of blackness. Out of the black, yeah. Yeah. I've never voted, and I know people like, your vote counts this down and third, but it was just. It does.
Starting point is 00:41:43 See, like one of these. And you know what it is like about Trump, you know like if you know somebody, and then they get to the place where they're running for president, you almost feel like a hater if you don't vote for them, because you know this nigga. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:59 And it's like you ain't vote for somebody. This is what it is, this is what it is, right? He's president, I got love for him. I'm always there, I live not far from him. I'm always at his house, he's showing me love. His wife, his kids, they all show my family love. Hey, the other people never gonna show me that love. This other lady, she's not gonna show me no love.
Starting point is 00:42:18 And that's what I was about to say about me voting. It's never like I seen a president that made a difference for me growing up. It wasn't like, yo, if this nigga win, he gonna come through. You know, I'm gonna end up seeing them. I just never really felt like it made a difference. Now, what I will say is this murder. Did the PPP matter? I wasn't a part of that. A lot of chicken.
Starting point is 00:42:45 Yeah, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't get PPP or none of the loans. But listen, when you think about this, they're not gonna help me get my friends out of prison that got life sentences and shit. They're not gonna help me. They're not gonna help me. Totally agree with you, Mike. That's exactly what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:43:01 When you got, and that's what Mace just said. When you got somebody that you know that made it there, it makes, it doesn't make sense for you not to vote for him because everything Mace just said and everything you just said makes 100% sense. I was just saying that I've never known anybody, I never met Trump. I'm not, I've known y'all was on before I was on,
Starting point is 00:43:21 so I didn't get a chance to meet Trump. But I'm not arguing your points, did you want to chime in? Oh no, I'm just gonna say do your own research, see what matters to you, and then register to vote and make your decision that way. I'm like you want me to go fuck a bottle? Yeah!
Starting point is 00:43:35 I'm all I'm saying! Is that what you said? I didn't say a word. I said do your research, because I know how these conversations go. I don't got time for this. Wait, Nick, pull up the killer. I don't got time.
Starting point is 00:43:48 You mad. Yeah. You mad. You mad. You mad. You mad. Yo, who are you voting for, though? I'm not releasing that information.
Starting point is 00:43:58 Do your own research. Taylor Swift, dude. Do your own research. Shottie can do that. Do your own research. Taylor Swift said when she told me she didn't like her. Do your own research. Shawty can do that. Do your own research. I just wanna be your dog. He didn't like her. Hey!
Starting point is 00:44:10 Nobody gonna look at you, no way. I'm not answering that question. Why not? Hey, where's your guts, baby? You like that? My guts are here, just political conversations. Like, that will be discussed when it's time to be discussed. But right now, I'm just gonna encourage everybody
Starting point is 00:44:27 to do their own research. That's it. That's it. Oh, you one of those people, huh? Yeah, that's like an inside. You one of those people. Wait who wins, then I'm on your side, huh? No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:44:37 No, I don't, you'll see, like, even when we have our sports debates, I don't switch up. Like, how I feel is how I feel, but like, I just, my brain, the way it works, like, I have a thought. Okay, that's for your brain work, huh? Yeah, like, I can, but like I just, my brain, the way it works, like. I have a thought. I can do that for your brain work, huh? Yeah, like I can't. You have secrets, huh?
Starting point is 00:44:48 The sick is your secrets, you know that right, baby? The sick is your secrets, baby. Yeah. The sick is your secrets. The sick is your secrets. They'll see. Wanna continue your discussion, guys we have to finish the underdog.
Starting point is 00:45:02 I'm really not with the twerking at the campaigns. Who's twerking at the campaign? Who's twerking at the campaign? They talking about a Kamala, they going to be twerking on the White House lawn. That's a rumor. That's what they talking about. That's what Macy's saying. How old are you?
Starting point is 00:45:20 I'm 23. Oh, babe, you're so old. She's optimistic. How old are you? I'm 23. Oh babe, you're so funny. She's optimistic. I love you. I love you so much. Is anybody told me, so for context, right?
Starting point is 00:45:30 I graduated college last year. What college did you graduate from? University of Miami. Okay. If anybody told me I'd be having a conversation with Mace, Mike Tyson, and Cam about the election, I would be like, I'm not going to be having a conversation with Mace. I'm going to be having a conversation with Mace, Mike Tyson, and Cam about the election, I would have said they were a lie.
Starting point is 00:45:52 This is not real. This is not real. This is your chance to show your independence and your goal that this is who I'm voting with. I'm with it, whoever. Yeah, I'm not doing that just yet. Where's that person at? It's here. I promise you it's here with, I'm with whoever. Yeah, I'm not doing that just yet. It's here, I promise you it's here.
Starting point is 00:46:08 And I studied political science, so I'm like a politic nerd. Let me explain this with you, right? That action right there, that's letting us know that you're not for Donald Trump. Yeah. I didn't say anything. No, no.
Starting point is 00:46:21 I said do your own research. Listen, you're 23, without saying things, you said things. That's what you don't know at 23. But also, we all think differently. That's what I'm saying. Everybody just do their research. I know. We all think differently, but we can see transparency.
Starting point is 00:46:40 We know where you at. Everybody should put their views on the table. Like me, one of my biggest issues with Kamala. 23! You think you're worldly, don't you? You think you know shit. You think you're very intelligent, you know stuff, right? I don't think how I think.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Great discussion though, because I love talking to y'all about different stuff, right? I don't think how I think. It's a great discussion though, because I love talking to y'all about different stuff, because I know we have different views. I love you. Yeah. 23, I love you, oh God. But I have so much more to learn as well. She has been traveling the world lately.
Starting point is 00:47:17 A lot. She's been moving around, so you're right. You mean by traveling, what do you mean by traveling in the world? I just like to learn about different cultures, people, how they think, why they act. Tell me, what do you mean by traveling? What do you mean by traveling in the world? I just like to learn about different cultures, people, how they think, why they act. Tell me, what do you mean by traveling in the world? Tell me that.
Starting point is 00:47:29 He said you traveled the world. Were you mistaken? No, I haven't. Where have you been? Recently? Wherever, last year, 10 years ago. I mean, I've been most of the islands. I was just in Tokyo.
Starting point is 00:47:39 I mean, I went to Costa Rica. I went to Europe. But when you're there, who did you engage with? I engaged with the locals. So I usually get a guide and then they'll show us around and get like these friends. Did you go with Nobility? Who did you talk to?
Starting point is 00:47:52 Do you go with people who ran the show? I ran the show. You go with the president, you meet the prime minister. I went with the locals. I ain't good here. I was with the locals. I was with the locals.
Starting point is 00:48:04 Did you think it was with the niggas who ran the show? Yeah. Get there. That's 23, that's 23, okay? We'll get there. Okay, so now that we're talking about my age, if you could give advice to your 23 year old self, what would it be?
Starting point is 00:48:19 Yeah, it's gonna be all right, Mike. It's gonna be tough, it looks bad, but it's gonna be all right. That's for sure. Real quick, we got a video of your man, the black bad, but it's gonna be all right. Real quick, we got a video of your man, the Black Nazi. Let's pull it up. Ooh, I love this guy.
Starting point is 00:48:30 Go ahead. Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina, America is still the greatest nation on earth. And I don't care what these communists say. I don't care what these socialists say. I don't care what these blue-haired freaks say with a tackle box in their face at the college campus. This is the greatest nation on earth and it's all because of God.
Starting point is 00:48:55 He's the one that made it possible. So we give him thanks first and foremost. We need to lynch this nigga. Yeah. We need to put this nigga like the pig on the pig out the mouth and frickin' feed his black ass. Yo, disclaimer, this is all joking, everyone. That's Mase's disclaimer, Mase.
Starting point is 00:49:20 If that's what we doing, Mike, let me know. Listen, Mike, we might need Mike up here once a week. At least once a month. Look, you live out here. Anytime you want to come up here, man, you more than welcome, man. Listen, I did a show or two here too. I didn't want to be here no more. Cause I want to be on my show.
Starting point is 00:49:40 I'm a smoke douche. They don't let you smoke here and shit. Yeah. Yeah. It looks good, but you know, fuck. I can't. Yo Mike, I used to have my girls up here twerking. They said, I can't have no girls up here twerking.
Starting point is 00:49:50 No. They said, I can't twerk. Fuck you motherfucker. I got you. This place here, I said, this beautiful looks good, but you know, hey, I got to go nigga. I got to get the fuck up out of here.
Starting point is 00:50:02 No smoking and no twerking. I did one show here, I said, the fuck him do this shit? Yeah. This is what they do, this is like slavery, to make everything look good, like you running shit. You can't smoke, you can't piss on time, you can't, fuck you.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Ha ha ha ha. Oh, these niggas. Ha ha ha. Oh, these niggas. This little 22-year-old baby. I'm not saying you're very sophisticated, but I was 23 World Champion, but I was an idiot. I throw out some more. I throw out new stuff, too.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I caught a strain. I said, I definitely just caught a strain. He said, yeah, I remember when I was your age and I thought I knew you. I was like, I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star.
Starting point is 00:50:38 I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to be a rock star. I'm going to stuff too. Yeah. I caught a stray. I said I definitely just caught a stray. He said, yeah, I remember when I was your age
Starting point is 00:50:49 and I thought I knew stuff. I thought I knew stuff too. No, no, no, no, baby, you cool, you cool. I was an idiot. Good in Mike Tyson's book, great to know. I can't wait to do it. Mike, Mike, I love that you said that because when Stats says anything,
Starting point is 00:51:06 I'm gonna be like, y'all was 23. I thought I knew stuff too. No, no, true, you were 23. What did you do when you were 23, right? And y'all over here laughing. I think I laugh at it all the time, right? Thank you. I thought I knew stuff too.
Starting point is 00:51:21 I like that. When you're 30 years old, you're not gonna even be this person. Yeah. I'm learning a lot every day though, so, and I take it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it.
Starting point is 00:51:28 I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it.

Starting point is 00:51:41 I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. I love it, I love it, I love 16th nigga. November. 15th of November. 15th of what? Yeah, right. You call them niggas, you one of them niggas that wanna fight to stay slaved? Nah, he's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:51:53 Like this. Nah, he's a small nigga in here. You old nigga, he'll fight me one and all. First of all, let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. Don't let them bring a nigga out of you, Michael. It My wife said, don't let them bring the n*** out of you, Michael. It's been brought. Don't let them bring the n*** out of you.
Starting point is 00:52:08 Listen, man. Let me tell you one thing, man. Mike is right because last time me and Mike was on the set the last time, I was a whole nother n***a. Matter of fact, while we talking, Nick, pull up camera Mike Tyson on Jimmy Kimball while we talking. Because this n***a that was on Jimmy Kimball, why are we talking about? Because this nigga that was on Jimmy Kimmel, I'm not that nigga today.
Starting point is 00:52:27 I was sitting back looking at the shit like, what the fuck was wrong with me? So I know what you talking about Mike and what he was telling you, because sometimes I look back, I meet people, I mean, I meet by running the people, and they tell me the shit I used to do to them, and I be like.
Starting point is 00:52:42 No, because look at that, I'm 23 years old, and the only thing I thought about was my dick. My dick ran the show at 23. That's why I was burning. My dick ran the show. That's why I was, I pissed, I burned my house. I'm trying to take a piss, I'm burning the bathroom down and shit.
Starting point is 00:52:59 Yo, murder. I'm more Jimmy Kimmel. See, Mike got more experience than me. So I'm selling records, but I'm still at home every day. So anytime somebody say something to me, I'm a little defensive. They heard IBS, my stomach. He's like, what's up with your stomach?
Starting point is 00:53:15 I'm like, fuck is up with your stomach. And Mike kinda caught on to it. So he's like, oh shit, Kev might go left. Hey Kev, what's going on? Because I was like, Jimmy Kim, you know, I was in late night season for late night TV. So I'm like, what is these niggas trying to be funny? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:53:33 You're getting brother, now this is serious. Now listen, your talents take you places that you're not able to handle sometimes. No, I'm late night TV right now. I've been late night TV. Exactly, but listen. I wasn't ready to. Your talent put you in places where you say,
Starting point is 00:53:49 whoa, I don't belong here. Right. But your talent put you there. Right, absolutely. I just wasn't mentally prepared for it. And when I'm looking back at it, I'm like, thanks, Mike. Because I was, because Mike. You saved him.
Starting point is 00:54:03 Yeah, Mike was seasoned. He was, I wasn't seasoned for late night television, Mike was seasoned. He was seasoned, I wasn't seasoned for late night television. I just like. Look at this, right? Hey baby, how you doing? Mike, man, you don't know what be going on. No, no, no, listen, when people came,
Starting point is 00:54:16 I know we be serious, right? I ain't even gonna say nothing. Go ahead, go ahead. I ain't gonna say nothing. Go ahead, no, seriously. That's a lot of shit, right? But I walk the streets, they, they, it was crazy, scary, you know? And you say to myself, who the fuck am I?
Starting point is 00:54:38 You know, who the fuck am I that I attract people? Right. Where I go to Moscow to fucking close the city down. Who the fuck am I? I'm a Scudder nigga. I'm from a sewage and shit. Who the hell am I? And then you start thinking, who the fuck?
Starting point is 00:54:51 What is this? Who are these people that wanna be next to me? I don't like myself. How could they like me? And that's when it's just tricky. Who the fuck, they like me more than I like me. You know, they like me more than I like me. Right. You know?
Starting point is 00:55:05 Mm-hmm. Like how did you come up with those rants before the fights though? What's that? When you pause, when you told what you call her, you was gonna eat his kids and all that. I'm a fuckin', I'm bipolar, I'm tripolar, nigga. I'm not well, nigga, I need medicine, nigga. I need to be on shit, I'm bipolar, nigga. I'm not well, nigga. I need medicine, nigga.
Starting point is 00:55:26 I need to be on shit. I'm not well. I'm not well. Listen, you get a guy from the fucking sewer system and you give him 100, 200 million dollars, he's not well. He's not sophisticated. He's fucking really crass and shit.
Starting point is 00:55:44 And they gave me all that fucking money. Yeah, that was good. You think, imagine you being 23 and you got like 400 million now, you can get any, you can buy any woman you want. Mike, I was 23 with one million and lost my motherfucking mind. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:55:58 So 400, I might have never came back. Yeah. My father would be never with me. Brother, some of them don't, I'm just very grateful. No, absolutely. Very grateful that I came back. My father would be never with me. Brother, some of them don't. I'm just very grateful. No, absolutely. Very grateful that I came back. Absolutely, I might have never came back.
Starting point is 00:56:10 That's true, because at like 21, 22, I thought I didn't even have to rap no more. I could leave. Right. Shit, man, but listen. Boom, everything got boom, lost it all. Right. Shit came back.
Starting point is 00:56:22 So I'm saying to myself, what's gonna happen now? You know? Right. I'm just happy my kids, you know, that they can live a good life and chill. They can live in France, they can live in different countries, they always go to the same bars every year. Right.
Starting point is 00:56:40 You know, I'm just very good that my kids have a better life than I did. That's for sure. My man Nick just found the footage. This is Old Cam with Mike Tyson on Jimmy Kimmel right here. Cameron everybody! How you doing? How you doing? How you doing?
Starting point is 00:57:13 That's a good looking jacket you got there. I know. That's alright. I brought you a CD too, man. Thank you very much. New album. Thank you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:21 This is good. You got Haymaud. It's a big hit for you, right? Definitely. Now, that's the new album just came out last Tuesday. It's called Dippin' Mad Community. Oh, very nice. What's up, over there? I'll see y'all. What's up, baby? And how are your bowels?
Starting point is 00:57:32 I mean, how are your bowels? My bowels are just fine right now. They've been better, I'll tell you. You know what, Jimmy? Have you ever tried this Paragoric? Have you ever tried that? No, but I understand it's delicious. Paragoric is a tincture of opium. Yes.
Starting point is 00:57:47 And it makes you high as a kite, and it slows down the motility of your bowels. How do we take this? How do we go about taking it? You take it off, and this is Modofen, which is like a more powerful version of low modal. It's also a sort of synthetic. Why do they want to trash you with their money or any when you're taking this? Well they do anyway because I mean the fact that many people are trust with people's money have irritable bowel syndrome. Money and bowel problems often go together.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Yeah Ben drinks a lot of that stuff. You know what I always love is Ben would complain of dizziness when we did when Ben signeds money. And then one day, let me have that bottle right here. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:58:35 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, like, you know, being from Harlem, I'm out of the bill. You know, you from New York, I'm just listening to the block party on 136 last summer. Yeah. You on a liquor store? You on a liquor store?
Starting point is 00:58:50 Yeah, that's it. From May 18th, that's how I know. You on a liquor store in the Bronx? Sure do. You on your mom? Nah, yeah, me and my mom got a liquor store. Wow. I got a laundry mat.
Starting point is 00:59:00 I got a hair salon in Philly. Really? Wow. And you have a cologne, I understand. Yeah, old boy Philly. Really? Wow. And you have a cologne, I understand. Yeah, old boy cologne. Go get that. Oh, beard oil.
Starting point is 00:59:09 You know nothing about that. We like beard oil. Homeboy cologne? He's walking around with scissor up in his pocket. This might as well be called prescription chronic. That is how good it is. And that is how good it is. Chronic prescription.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Chronic or chronic. This is what you look at, right? This is what people don't know. Know what the realest, the gangsta shit in the world is, when you can change your life. That's gangsta. Did you see my posthumous murder? Gangsta, nigga.
Starting point is 00:59:38 I ain't like it. Look at him here, look at him now. You feelin' like gangsta, niggas. Y'all niggas be happy for me. I know the past. I really wish we had the whole interview because I was like, yeah, my laundry mat man and my cleaning store and all this stuff.
Starting point is 00:59:54 I'm a gutter nigga, I'm a street nigga. I'm happy to talk to him, be with him. The other guy said, what the fuck we do here? We ain't got no long version nigga, that shit. Hey yo. Pause, that was super pause. That was crazy. That was crazy.
Starting point is 01:00:07 That was crazy, man. Mike, we gonna let you off. No, listen, that was beautiful, man. That was beautiful. I appreciate it, man. But what was that guy, he's dead now, Stern. What was that guy that you was in front of, middle of, Stern?
Starting point is 01:00:18 Who was that? He's a money cat, I believe, Stern. I forgot. I just know I was up there with you, bro. No, but that, no, but it's Peep Game. Imagine me and you, guys like us, we're supposed to have been dead or whatever you think we were supposed to be.
Starting point is 01:00:30 We're on worldwide television. Absolutely. You know what I mean? Absolutely. No one, listen, Peep Game, if we died right now, we won. Right. We won, nigga, we won. If somebody came and this place blew up, we already won. Right, it's not gonna work, cause I'm, I'm, I'm. Nah,, we won. If somebody came and this place blew up, we already won. Right, let's knock on wood, cause I'm-
Starting point is 01:00:45 Yeah, I'm- Nah, but we already won, you're like trying to go out tonight. I can't even walk out tonight. But listen, man, don't be afraid of death, you know what I mean? Everybody don't be afraid of that, because if death is bad, then life is bad.
Starting point is 01:01:00 How could death be bad and life be good? How could life be good and death be bad? They're intertwined with one another. Right. Mike, you're a philosopher. I like Mike. No, it's experience. I'm an idiot.
Starting point is 01:01:12 I just learned from experience. Experience is the best teacher. I'm not a new philosopher, no smart nigga. I just learned from the pain. Okay. Who is your best trainer outside of custom model, Mike? Your best trainer outside of custom model, you out of few. Yeah, custom's the guy though.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Okay, okay. What we gonna do? You got anything else for Mike? What's our time looking like, Nick? Mike is wild. I love Mike. Mike ought to come appear about two times a month. You gotta open door, Mike.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Yeah. I got work, get up in the morning, run a train. I got to be late at night. I was telling my wife today, she said, you're going to Nile. I said, how am I going? I got these niggas copy of me. Well, listen, the only reason I wanted to be on the show,
Starting point is 01:01:59 I saw your niggas in suits and stuff. Oh, baby, I wanna be on that. That's the only reason I wanted to be on the show. I told you, kid. They got suits, they changed their life. This is only all day. I wanted to do that. That's the only reason I wanted to be on the show. I told you, kid. They got suits, they changed their life. You told me and I started to see it. That scared my head.
Starting point is 01:02:11 Look, they changed their life. These niggas got suits on. Told me. Bro, this is wild. I told me, first show you came with, I said, pull your suit on, nigga. That was fly though, man. That was real fly. The suit, the dressing up suit on, nigga. That was fly though, man. That was real fly, the suit.
Starting point is 01:02:25 The dressing up is fly, nigga. This is, yeah, the dressing up is fly, nigga. Well listen, Mike, text me direct and tell you how it's time to get fly. I just wanted to come on the show because I said, wow, look at these niggas. I just wanted to be on the show. I wanted to be on the show.
Starting point is 01:02:41 You know, I don't talk to no show. I thought that was good. Nah, I like that. That was good. Nah, that this was because it was good. Nah, I like that. That was good. Nah, that's what's up, but you're more than welcome, bro. I used to think y'all guys had this shit in you for some reason. What, what, what, what?
Starting point is 01:02:53 What's your mean? What's y'all talking about? I don't know, I used to think y'all niggas, I used to think y'all this shit is so fucking fly. When I saw your niggas dressed up in the suits and shit, I said, fuck, I wanna be on it. Baby, let's get on that show. That's why I'm here. I thought your niggas would have suits and shit. I said, fuck, I wanna be on it. Baby, let's get on that show. That's why I'm here.
Starting point is 01:03:05 I thought your niggas would have suits and shit. Nah, only reason, only reason is cause it's Friday, but. I was going, oh, listen. But what you mean? I was getting ready to wear a suit too. I was going to wear a suit. I was saying, no, don't wear no suit. Yes, go like this.
Starting point is 01:03:17 But what you mean you ain't think we had a suit? I didn't understand. What you mean? Listen, this is, what am I saying? This is Enterprise right here, nigga. Yeah. Nigga from the gutter don't know nothing about enterprise.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Right. I didn't think you had it in you. Right. This is enterprise, nigga. You hear that murder? Pants off. Mortimer. Mortimer.
Starting point is 01:03:39 Yeah. Yeah. You know, listen, you know, when you got something like, when the cameras on you, now you're influencing people. You're influencing people in different, you're influencing people that you're never, ever gonna meet again. You're gonna be dead before you ever meet these people.
Starting point is 01:03:53 You influenced them. And they talk about that too. Now I appreciate it. Like, this is probably our third life in entertainment. You know what I'm saying? Like whether it's movies or rapping and now for us to be sitting here to talk about sports. The reason I even came out with this show
Starting point is 01:04:13 is because I would be arguing with friends on the phone and the time I hang the phone up is say two and a half hours are arguing about sports. And Mase knows just as much as sports as I do. And I was like, let's figure this shit the fuck out. So what you telling us that even though you ain't think we had it in us, for you to be us to be sitting here right now interviewing you even though you know you one of our niggas
Starting point is 01:04:38 regardless outside of this, this is like a big moment for us as well, you know what I'm saying? You ever think about who you were, who are you? Yeah. You ever think about who's my 10,000th grandmother, who am I really? How old am I really? Right. Do you see this at 365 days of the year?
Starting point is 01:04:56 Before he was born, how do we tell our age? Right. Somebody told us that, how old are you now? 48. Someone told you that you're 48. You don't know if you're 48. Right. We don't know if you're 48. Right. We don't know who we are.
Starting point is 01:05:06 Right. You know? You don't believe in the 23 and me? Excuse me? 23 and me, they're like the reason. No, I don't believe in that. No. I don't believe in that.
Starting point is 01:05:15 I believe that we're, that we don't know who we are, but we're very divine. You know, what do you never think about that? Well, you know, how did I really become it? Why did I become a successful rapper? Didn't you think, don't you think it was already, it already had, it was already, listen,
Starting point is 01:05:31 this is what I believe. God wrote this, this is just, God wrote the life and this boom, this is what it is. So do you think you was like a butterfly before it, before you was Mike? Before I was Mike, I don't know. I was like a butterfly before he was Mike? Before I was Mike, I don't know. I was probably Asian. I don't know, I could have been a dog, a rat.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Yeah, I believe that too, yeah. You was a tree murderer. I just think. You know I was saying the word. You never thought, you never think about who we really are, what we are as people, who are we people even. Right. Then what are we then?
Starting point is 01:06:11 Huh? Then what are we from your vantage point? God. You can't look and listen. We're frauds, but we're God. Look at all this influence you have. If it was biblical times, if we lived in Jesus, we all got to be in the Bible. We'd be all in the Bible.
