I'm Treasure Wilson, aka Stapp Baby, along with your host, Mace and Cam. Killer, what's good, man?
Starting point is 00:01:00 What's good, bro? How are you? Chilling, man. I'm doing good. Good, man. That's what's up. How you doing, Statt? Let me ask you a question real quick. How many wetting rings you got? You got a lot of rings, man. Wet and rings? Not dead ass, not even being funny. Like, I'm serious, I'm like, you got a lot of rings, man on the ring finger, man.
Starting point is 00:01:20 You match all your outfits. You're on his haul of shit I mean you got like I know what it symbolizes but how many? Like seven, eight I thought I seen more than that man Yeah probably more but
Starting point is 00:01:33 I wear a consistent probably seven Yeah man You got a lot That's a fly shit Nick switch up to the outfit Nick Niggas like got that All of shit really Yeah, nigga
Starting point is 00:01:44 Throw it up The ring got matched the watch So every time I switch to watch I switched to rain. Oh, that's what's going on. And then the watch match match the glasses. And the lapel right there. Got going on there.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Yeah, there you go. There you go. Okay, I just want to. A little Harlem, you know. I looked through. I see no white ring in the desk. Still got a lot of wetter rings, man. That's some fly shit right there.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Super fire. Y'all, it's a great day. The NBA regular season officially start. I was waiting for this. It is a stack schedule. So we're going to get into y'all's predictions because we'll see how it plays out later today. But let's get to it. We're going to start, right, May, Sixers versus Nix.
Starting point is 00:02:29 So I want to note, a key addition for the Knicks this year is Andre Drummond with the departure of Mitchell Robinson to the Celtic. So looking at this game, Sixers, Nix. We already know what the Sixers also got going on. Who do we think wins this game? Who we think wins it or who I want to win? Those are two different. You can do both. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I think I'm standing on New York, man, for real. I'm going with New York. It's going to be a ring ceremony. You know, it's going to be lit in the building. Everybody in their mother is going to be there. You know, I'm going with the Knicks. I'm looking for Jalen Brunson to pull it off. Pause it.
Starting point is 00:03:09 I don't care who out there. There's only one basketball, right? So even if you got 50 good players, only one person could shoot the ball at a time. I'm going with Jailen Brunson. in New York next. Excuse me. I love Philly. Philly is my second home.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Philly has been really good to me. Philly made me a superstar. But I got to go with the home to you. Before you go, Kemp, Mays, can I get your order of your second home? Like, your second, your third, maybe you're fourth. Like, what are we prioritizing? What's the rankings here? You went to college, right?
Starting point is 00:03:44 Yes. There's different dispensations, right? Okay. and different dispensations. What's dispensations mean? Talk to him. I don't ask me. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I'm asking. I'm asking. I'm asking. I'm just a genuine question. What does that mean? It's different periods of time. You know, it's different periods of time. You know, at one time that was.
Starting point is 00:04:08 Dispations. I'm going to throw out of my shit. It's not going to quit for me. But I learned a new word today. Thank you. What does it mean? It says a specific administrative period system of governance or official exemption from a rule?
Starting point is 00:04:22 Yeah, so when I was living one way, that was my second home. You could break it down. You live in a different time. You live in somewhere different. This is my second home, you know? This time. Yeah, in this dispensation. Okay.
Starting point is 00:04:39 All right. She's still lost, but as long as you all are following. You got it. You got it. I don't know. situation right but out of it zick zee gets it you know he's he's picking up you know that you're still not getting it nope i just wanted a ranking but this time if that counts for this time no this dispensation but what about the next dispensation then what is it then you may
Starting point is 00:05:06 have a different second home okay learning guys you know you know that's why you want to be around people who are sharp right because they make you sharper you know they give you they give you give you stuff that you can use in your future meetings, you know? Yeah, dispensation. And everybody's just going to nod and act like they know when they don't know. When they don't know, they just got to go. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:28 Yeah. Yeah. I got it, though. Okay. I'm going with the next, it's like Mesa has the ring ceremony. Um, in New York tonight. I think that the Sixers should be motivated to win. But what I've been seeing from the Sixers, and it could just be preseason.
Starting point is 00:05:50 I can be wrong. We're going to see tonight how it goes there. But what I've been seeing from the Sixers has not been looking as good as it's seen. When you watch these highlights on television, if you're not actually watching the games, it looks spectacular. You see LeBron Catcher Ali's from Taurice Maxie. You see Joe Lombie running dunk in the ball. You see Jalen Brown in the lane making floaters, edgecombe doing where he's doing. And the whole highlight of Be the Sixers.
Starting point is 00:06:17 And then they'd be like at the end of the game, at the end of the highlight, Boston 122 to 76 is 110. I'm like, this is what the NBA do. They brainwash you into liking the stars they want you to like. And therefore, you're fascinated or fixated, whatever the word you want to use, with the stars from the NBA. And they're not winning. I was so mad about that for the Brooklyn Nets. How we don't get one highlight. And we won the game.
Starting point is 00:06:48 So I had to go back and skim through the game and see how good they played through that game. Now, did they play a whole game? Was it a real game? No, but this chemistry, to me, has not been clicking as much as people think it's been clicking because of the highlights and what they want you to see and the things they have to sell to you as a product of the NBA. But if I'm going on who's going to win tonight, I have to go to the New York Knicks. They should win open in the night, ring ceremony. and I think the city is still warm out.
Starting point is 00:07:18 It isn't that cold out yet. I think the energy in the city will pick up from where they left off last year and who better than the beat than LeBron James, Jalen Brown, Joe L'NBee, so it'll be a party again outside Masters of Square Guard. What happened?
Starting point is 00:07:34 Not sure, but I'm going with the Knicks. Yeah, and I just hope that for the fans' sake, New York do not beat up any Philadelphia fans, no matter what you do. Don't beat up any Philadelphia fans. And I'm going to be honest with you have to concur with Mace. This is, and I don't mean any disrespect to San Antonio or Indiana, anything like that. Withsoever, Philly will return the favor when you go there.
Starting point is 00:08:04 They fight it. They're not snatching jersey too. They will be outside ready to return the favor. And there's nothing to do with the basketball teams. Mace is correct. Let's just keep it basketball. This is a majority black city. Right.
Starting point is 00:08:20 They can't wait. They have a problem. So let's just keep it all basketball, please. Thanks. Okay. This next one, another good one. We got the Thunder versus the Spurs. So head coach Mitch Johnson confirmed that the Spurs will actually start
Starting point is 00:08:34 three guards against OKC placing Daron Fox, Svon Castle, and Dylan Harper together in the back court with the addition of Wembe and Vissell. So after knowing this, Mace, do you like this? for the spurs and who do you think wins this the spurs or okay c give me that list again yeah so he's gonna have dearon fox defan castle and dylan harper along with wemby and devon visell so starting three guards i don't like it okay i don't like i don't like i like dylan harper pause and castle and i think they should add the guy they traded for who is that that um came from detroit tobias harris tobias harris you got to put them in that
Starting point is 00:09:15 line up because I think it adds, it add more variety pause to this San Antonio team. You don't want to start with Darren Fox. I think if you're going to do this, then you've got to work on a way to get him out of San Antonio because the ball should be in the hands of Dylan Harper. We saw it in the playoffs. And I'm just a firm believer of once you show me who you are, I can never unsee it. For me, I don't like it either. What I really don't like is that.
Starting point is 00:09:46 the spurs didn't go pick up any another center. Now you got Luke Cornett still there, of course, there's a backup. But for some reason, they are, and what are you going to do? I mean, who am I to argue this? When you're six, pardon me, seven, five, you want your nigga to be a center. But Wimby is not a center, and you know, you have a bunch of analysts arguing,
Starting point is 00:10:13 like he needs to, I learn how to play the post. He needs to be on the box. He's a big man. He has no post moves just out and the third. He's just not a natural center. Do you make Kevin Durant a center because he's seven feet? Yo, Katie's a center. He's seven feet. No, the niggas are three. And if you need him to play center, he can play center. If you need him to play the four, he can play the four if need be. But that man comes up and he's shooting it from three. Now, you need to put Wimby at the four, my opinion. And he really, to me, plays like a three. And it's a luxury to have a 7-5-3-4-4-4-5.
Starting point is 00:10:51 No, he's 75, he need to play the post. That's not his game. I've seen it in the summertime. They had the nigga on the football team mates tackling dummies. Like running, you know what I'm shit, the football players do run through tackling the nigger. To get him stronger, that's not him. And to me, Wimby's such a nice guy. And I'm not saying like he's a nice guy.
Starting point is 00:11:14 to be rude, but I think he understands the richness and the past and the credibility of the San Antonio Spurs organization that they're trusting them and like trust the process. Look what we did with David Robertson. Look what we did with Tim Duncan. Trust me, it's going to take this, going to take that to win. When this is not those days, the NBA has actually changed to some days. I wouldn't want out of got a bona fide center and let it wouldn't be possibly play the four from that to three because he doesn't know how to play center
Starting point is 00:11:47 natural. You could teach him but he's naturally on the wing. Did you see the shit he did the other day, Mace? The nigga blocked
Starting point is 00:11:54 Sabone his shot. After he blocked the shot, he went full court, brought the ball up the court, Ben Simmons reaches, throws it off Ben Simmons, throws it off the backboard to himself
Starting point is 00:12:05 and bang and dunks it. This is all one motion. Block, boom, up the court. What center is doing that? You know, fam. You didn't see it? I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:12:19 It was crazy. It was crazy. What are we watching? Yeah, like, bro. It was crazy. You blocked the shot. You bring it up to. Don't get me wrong.
Starting point is 00:12:29 It's a luxury for your son to do that. If y'all go get a bona fide center and stop depending on when me to be the center, I think the spurs will be way better off. But you're going to be in trouble because you have nobody besides Luke Cornette to seven feet. Everybody else is shorter than seven feet. And then you know what OKC went out and did? What's my nigga name?
Starting point is 00:12:53 Well, I got right here because I was watching the nigga. Darra? Hold on. Yeah. Pardon me. Marva. 73 skill set crazy. Bag work is wild.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Kevin McHale on the box with the footwork. And 7.3 is way closer to 75 to 7. feet. And the reason I bring that up is because we see the fits that Wemby was given Chet in the last season, pardon me, in the playoffs. Not just the playoffs throughout the whole season.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Chet don't got to even rely. Now, he's not going to start until my Mara, but his bag work is good. Now, think about this, right? What if they want to go big? Pause. What if they want to go Chet, Mara and
Starting point is 00:13:40 Hanstein? What are you going to do? Whimby, it's going to be a problem, bro. I think the San Antonio missed out on going out and getting another legit big man for the back Wemby up, and I think they should let him play the position of the four to three, which is not going to happen. It's their force them to be a big man. It's like, you know, when a lot of people may not know this information,
Starting point is 00:14:06 I was privy to this information, but when Luca Dantas came to the league, He was a forward, or they draft him as a forward when he played the guards so life. And they told him, yeah, you're going to play forward. He said, no, I'm not. I've been playing guard my life. He said, yeah, but here you're going to play forward. And he said, no, I think you'll hear me. I said, I'm a guard, and I'm going to play guard here like I've been playing since I was 14 years old.
Starting point is 00:14:30 And the professional, you know, he's been professional since he's 14, 15, 16 overseas. And I'm not playing the forward. And he put his foot there and he ended up being a point guard. Wimby doesn't have that quality just yet because I believe he believes in the San Antonio organization, which is a great organization to believe in. But he's not going to ever be one of these centers that we see like Shaquille O'Neal or Kim and Lajuan, anything else. He got too much guard skill set, wants to shoot the three a lot.
Starting point is 00:15:01 And if you put him at the center, if he's playing a three, to me it'll be a luxury. Yeah. And I do just want to add just like we haven't seen, I mean, we've seen him play a little bit in preseason, but they did draft a center and Terris Reed, Jr. But I'm saying he's 6-10. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, it's still under seven-foot, but I'm just saying, Terrace Reed Jr.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Yeah. I just want to mention that because I'm going to be like, well, they do drop the 7-foot. Homeboy that was supposed to be good from Kentucky, Jaden, but they both 6-10, like Ken was saying. Yeah. Under 7 feet. He's supposed to be a defensive problem.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Yeah. That would still cause Wimby to have to play center. Right. And not to cut you guys off, because thank you, staff, for that, because the comments, we were like, no, they did get the center, they did get the center. Technically they play center and not saying they can't play center.
Starting point is 00:15:51 But, you know, like I said, and that, and them niggas is dogs, too. I see them things play. Shout to both. Them both of them niggas is dogs. I like that. I'm talking about when you're dealing with the OKC Thunder,
Starting point is 00:16:04 who's probably your biggest competition in the West. We'll see what Minnesota and Denver and the other likes, other teams, Golden State, whoever else in the West, Denver, have to say about that when it comes to OKC and San Antonio. But, you know, looking forward to the next half of many years, your biggest nemesis is going to be OKC, and size pause matters.
Starting point is 00:16:30 And then you have a motivated, not just motivate, not just lose, not just size, pause. You have a motivated Oklahoma City Thunder. They have to live with, what they went through all summer. Chad Homegroom probably had nightmares all summer about Wembe. He didn't play good against Wembe whatsoever in those playoffs. He looked frail, he looked a shell of himself,
Starting point is 00:16:53 and he had to deal with that all summer. You got people like J. Dobs sitting there saying, if I was healthy, we would have won. We would have won. You know, you got Shea Gildreda's Alexander, who's saying, man, I needed my niggas with me, man. We took these niggins to seven by myself. Mitchell got hurt in the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:17:12 They're secondly in scorer, you know. But at the same time, you lose some key people. You lose Dort. If, you know, Dort wasn't saying he's the best scorer, but he was a presence on the court for OKC. You lose Wiggins as well for OKC. So, you know, this is going to be a real interesting season. And I know we got all lives on OKC and San Antonio,
Starting point is 00:17:34 but it's going to be some great other teams out there in the West as well. Okay. Moving on to the next game, we got Celtics versus the Pistons. Mace, what do we think? If Caden is playing, if Cade is playing, I'm going with the Pistons. I really believe the Pistons got a point proof. They should come back hungry if they was looking for a game to start off with adding some fire to the city of Detroit. This is the team you would do it against.
Starting point is 00:18:06 it's a hobble not a hobble Boston team but it's a team that is not as formidable I don't think without Jalen Brown when it comes to the split I'm more on the side of Jalen Brown so I really I really want to see this game but I'm definitely going for I think Detroit's showing it and just to reiterate just because you know we like clear responses so you feel like basically essentially the Celtics could have kept Jalen Brown yes I think I think they swapped out Jalen Brown and think they're getting the same thing with Paul. George, both teams feels like that, right? The Sixers feel that way and Boston feel this way, which makes it personal for both teams.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Hey, in camp. Where they playing? In Boston or in Detroit? Oh, they're playing in Detroit. It's a great, great game because I'm going to go with the Boston Celtics. The reason I'm going to go with the Boston Celtics is this, is that. this is the time, and don't get me more, on Kay Cunningham, we see him emerge into a superstar last season,
Starting point is 00:19:13 possibly maybe we're talking about him finishing with a league MVP if he doesn't get that injury towards the end of the season. But I believe also that Jason Tatum has something to say. He didn't get a full season last year like he wanted to. A lot of, you know, as we can see, it wasn't chemistry in the locker room. But Jason Tatum may feel like all this case, Cunningham shit. I'm the $340 million man and I got that for a reason. And I said he didn't have help with Jalen Brown, but there's going to be two light skin niggins for the battle of the
Starting point is 00:19:48 light skin. And I think Taylor may want his spot back. I think the people under underestimate Pritchard. I think Pritch is going to have a hell of a season as well. I think his role is going to have to step up, especially with Jalen Brown not being there. You got Derek Wright as well. Jalen Durham for the Detroit Pistons. He got his money. Did he get what he really wanted? We're not sure, but he took what they gave him. It should be a really, really good game.
Starting point is 00:20:14 And I think that this will see where we're at with the other teams in the east. And I want to use the words other teams like it's all about Philly or New York. But it's teams that need to be talked about outside of Philly and New York, too. What is Miami going to do? Orlando looked like they took a step back. last year. Cleveland brought back James Hardin with a full training camp offseason. You know, Donovan Mitchell. The way the Knicks handled them niggas, it don't look like if he could have been there and stayed in the gym since last year to right now that they could do anything with
Starting point is 00:20:50 the Knicks. So I think it's other teams that need to be talked about, but I do think the two premier organizations that we do need to talk about is Detroit and Boston Celtics. I'm picking the Boston Celtics to win this game, and we'll see who wins out the two light skin niggins. I'll be sure and Maxwell. Yeah, exactly. So the battle of the two lightskins. Okay, and then just in general, when you're watching this, like I know we're going to have our analyst perspective, but as a fan perspective, which game do you guys think is going to be the
Starting point is 00:21:20 most exciting to watch between the Sixers' Knicks, Thunder Spurs, Celtics, and Pistons? Actually, I think out of these two teams, I think the real game is OKC in San Antonio. That's the real game that got a whole bunch of smoke around it. I believe these other games is just fanfare. You got the ring ceremony, so nothing is going to trump the ring ceremony, no matter who wins the game. But if the Knicks win and they have their ring ceremony, New York is going to have a different type of energy the rest of the year.
Starting point is 00:21:58 So I think for the Knicks, they need to win this first game. Your question is what game is most exciting? Yeah. The most exciting game is going to be New York against Philadelphia. You got LeBron James in New York. You got this new team that's surrounding LeBron James with Jalen Brown being there. The ring ceremony like May said is going to be going on.
Starting point is 00:22:20 You got to think about things, right? If you're the Knicks coming into the season, you have to be pissed off. Why are we the fifth favorite to win the championship? We just came off smacking the whole East Coast. Everybody is saying that including myself, so I, you know, when they're like, oh, Kim, how are you going to say it? Yes, Cam included, say how the West is harder, pause than the East to go through. But then when the Knicks beat the Spurs 4-1, how are you going to say that the West is
Starting point is 00:22:48 than the East when they ran through the Champions of the West? Pause. So that's the game that's going to be the most exciting because of New York. Who's going to be there the first day? Who is Tracy Morgan? Spike Lee's going to be there. Ben Still. Everybody going to be happy.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Hey, nigga, we back. We won, nigger. What's up? What's up? That's the most exciting game. Now, the most, the most, this is turned into a grudge match. This is turned into a rivalry, not grudge match. Army. That was the wrong term. OKC and the Spurs, the two young guns of the league.
Starting point is 00:23:29 You know, you got a two-time reigning league MVP right now. You got Wemblee on the record saying he don't understand why he got the MVP. You got Wemby saying, I don't understand why a lot of niggas is getting a lot of things around here when I think I deserve anything. You got J. Dub talking about, listen, we would have won. If I was playing, you got Mitchell on OkC talking about you, lucky I got hurt because it would have been a different outcome. It's a lot of smoke around these two teams and this is a rivalry
Starting point is 00:23:59 that started brewing last season. In the regular season, the Spurs won four to one out of five games. I don't think OKC even likes that record. So to answer your question, stat, I'm going with the most exciting game because it's nothing like the Mecca baby. It's just nothing going to be like New York
Starting point is 00:24:17 and all the stars surrounding and everything else. But if I want to see, If I had to pick one game to watch, I would have to watch O.KC. against the Spurs just because I believe they genuinely don't like each other. Fair. Good picks there. Okay, y'all. So every year, right, this NBA GM survey comes out, and they answer a couple of questions about the league
Starting point is 00:24:39 prediction. So I'm going to read some of these GM's answers and see if you guys agree or disagree. So starting with, they voted for the best player at each position. So at point guard, 67% voted for SGA. So SGA is at the top. Then next came Jalen Brunson and then Luca. So Mace, do you think at the point guard position, SGA is the best in the league right now? No, no.
Starting point is 00:25:07 It's impossible for you to say somebody's better than the MVP, the former MVP, until somebody changes my mind against Jalen Brunson. Jalen Brunson is the best point guard in the league. flat out, hands down. I don't care what stat you bring up. When it came time and the lights were on, he performed pause. He did everything that was necessary. He even changed my mind about guards I used to look up to.
Starting point is 00:25:35 And that's when you're really playing good when you start making people who are like that, look like they're not like that. When I saw James Hardin against Jalen Brunson, it changed forever how I look at James Harton. James Harden is still dead nice, but Jalen Brunson reminded me what shorter guards used to do out of New York, and it just, I can't unsee it. I just can't. Jalen Brunson is the best point guard in the NBA. I don't care who are you talking about. He's the MVP. Yeah, I think Jalen Brunson right now is the best point guard, but this is why I really wanted OKC to play the Knicks, so we wouldn't even have to comment.
Starting point is 00:26:19 this conversation because if you're okayC or okayc fan you're going to say well we didn't have our team he had his team we didn't have it oh he's the league MVP i mean he's the finals MVP but we still got the league MVP so that means he was the best player in the league you're just the finals MVP which matters so but my answer is jalen brunson 100% but if you're sGA fan this is your answer he's the best He went seven games with the Spurs and he didn't have any help. Chet wasn't doing shit. J. Dub wasn't there.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Mitchell got hurt. Like I said, my last take, these are the arguments you did they make. And I'm saying, this is why, as much as I want the Spurs to make it to the championship, this is why I really wanted O KC to go to the championship. So we wouldn't even have this conversation. League MVP against the nigger torturing everybody.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Let's get it over with. Let's see who. Let's, let's, let's, minding mono for the chip, nigger. My answer is Jalen Brunson, no stat for the record, but I understand what people are still coming from. Hey, shout out the next. So next, we got shooting guard position. They've got Anthony Edwards with 73% of the votes. Then second, they got SGA, then Luca, then Donovan Mitchell. Mace, what do we think here?
Starting point is 00:27:39 When it comes to shooting guard, I'm going with, that's a difficult one. A lot of people may say Anthony Edwards. I would say Anthony Edwards as well, but I'm not, I'm not surprised if somebody go with Luca. Luca is definitely a formidable opponent known for getting the most 30 or 40 point games in the playoffs. I think he leads Michael Jordan in that category. So this is somebody that I wouldn't be surprised if somebody went with Luca. So either one of them could be one, two, and either position pause, but I'm going with, I'm going with Anthony Edwards
Starting point is 00:28:16 I got two. Amen. I'm going with Anthony Edwards as well. I don't consider Luca a two guard. He's a ball-dominant guard. Pause. You got Kyrie Irvin on the team. You push Kyrie Irvin to the two. He's not really a two-guards.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Very rare that you see Luke, you don't see Luca with the ball in his hand. They forcing shit. Pause. They force the next thing's not up a position's now. Like, yo, well, if you ain't going to be number one point guard, let's put them in the two-guard category. Then they just have them.
Starting point is 00:28:44 number three point guards that in which you were just read it was SGA and Luca in both categories right yes so you're putting them in both categories you know what I mean I look pick a fucking category I mean it's trying to force stickers everywhere and I don't consider Luca a two guard like I said like I just said he's fucking bald dominant guard this 24 seconds on the shot clock then they got the 17 seconds after 24 amen I mean, to Cam's point of picking a position, this could also be debatable. For small forward, they got Luca in first, then Jason Tatum, then Kui. We're going to put him somewhere.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Yeah, y'all going to find some number one for this nigga nowhere, somewhere. Mace, what do we think for Luca being small forward? And then after they've got Jason Tatum, then Kui. Who's the order, though? Luca, then Jason. He's number one in small forward? Yeah. That's my bad.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Because he didn't win the other category. Wilder. He didn't get the other category. They paying you to put Luca in it? This is not a native snack. You've been hanging out in Los Angeles? No. I mean, this is what they got.
Starting point is 00:29:52 Because it's like, do you even consider Luca a small forward? That's debatable too, but they've 30%. No, he's not no small forward. Now we're going to end up putting Lamello as small forward. If you're going based upon height, he's not a small forward. Who else is in the category? They have Jason Tatum next. And then Kauai, who also received votes, but there's not enough percentage is
Starting point is 00:30:13 Giannis, Scotty Barnes, Jalen Brown, and Katie. And small forward? These are the GMs. I'm not being paid to say this. You're a GM. You're supposed to talk to your people. Yeah, I go with the names, you know. I go with Katie.
Starting point is 00:30:28 I go with what's safe. You know what I'm saying? I don't roll a dice at all. You know, I'm predictable. I'm going with KD. Actually not predictable. I object, but we'll go with that. I'm going with Katie.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Katie Kauai, that's more of my, you know, more of my, um, fabric. Hey. So first, yeah, no, it's Scottie Barnes. First they got Luca, then they got Jason Taden, then they got Kwai. Also receiving votes, Janice, Scotty Barnes, Jalen Brown, and Katie. Yonis. They've been disrespectful now. I don't just sit here on this at three.
Starting point is 00:31:07 It's a four. You got niggas all over the place. Anyway. I'm going to go with Kevin the rant too. I got to go with Kevin the rent. Yeah. This is what happened when young niggas get the job. They start putting people in categories.
Starting point is 00:31:20 They don't go in. Let's see the average age of NBA GMs. I'm searching it right now because I'm curious. The GMs didn't do this. They didn't even have Scotty Barnes in there. Well, they did just, like, not in the top three rankings. He just also received votes. Yeah, the average age of an NBA GM is 50 years old.
Starting point is 00:31:39 So they, hey. Then I would be a GM. We're going, we're going with, we're going with Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant, Kowah, Scotty Barnes. I mean, Tatum right before Scotty Barnes, but I like Scottie Barnes. Okay. Next for Power Forward, which is what Cam was saying. They got Janus with 70% of votes.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Then Wembe also receiving votes, Anthony Davis, Jason Tatum. She's stressed. Whoever made this list up. I'm going with Wembe. Wimby is the better pick for Pile Forward. This is where I hope he plays. I actually hope that they get to the place where Wembe could play small forward. I think that's where he wins a lot of championships at Small Ford if they could ever find the personnel to surround him.
Starting point is 00:32:32 But I'm going with Wembe. I would go Wemby, too, if they ever played them in Small Ford. They don't play them in Small Ford. Keep them in center. They don't even play the nigger with Luke Cornett. Those niggas wasn't even on floor at the same time. in the championship. So I can't consider them a small forward
Starting point is 00:32:49 until they treat them like a small forward. So I have to go with Yonis is number one. But I totally agree with what Mesa is saying. I believe if you get Wimby at the 3, like I was saying earlier, and you get the power forward, you know how dangerous the Spurs would be? They would be a real problem, Wembe at the 3 or even at the 4.
Starting point is 00:33:12 So I can't vote for Wemby until they treat them. like a four we haven't seen it yet you're honest for me hey and then this last one they got yokitch at the center position then wimbi comes in second i'm not answering this no more who did you say who's third and fourth that that's all they've just got yokits was 63 percent of votes wendy at 37 yokech come on you said gm's did this right yes so they just forgot about everybody else. Y'all got to put some respect on cat name, man. Cat just won a championship.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Cat just showed up against Wimby. Y'all don't got Kat's name in there. They didn't vote for Kat. This is disrespect. They don't even have them as also receiving. That's disrespect. Yeah, that's where I'm. They didn't even put your name on here, Kat.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Cat, if you're watching this, go crazy, man. They ain't paying you your money. They're keeping your name off the list. Sound like a smear campaign. I would look into it. I'm going, I'm going with, Yolkich and cat at number two. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:24 See, if I'm a GM, right, I'm thinking from a GM's perspective, and I'm starting a team today, who do I want? I don't want cat. It's cool I fuck with cats and all that shit. I want either Yolkidj or Wembe, but who do I really want?
Starting point is 00:34:43 That's a tough one, man. That's tough because, like I said, Damn. That kid, Yoke is nasty, man. That kid, it's tough, bro. I kid it's tough, man. Damn. Yeah, sis, rebounds, threes.
Starting point is 00:34:59 The passes he'd been doing in the preseason just been ridiculous. Behind the back across the court. You know, it's crazy, man. Mace, you know what's crazy, man? It's been a couple years now, but me and Mace went and watched that shit in Phoenix. Like, that game is clearly in my mind
Starting point is 00:35:16 the shit that he literally made them niggas quit at halftime, bro. Like literally. Yeah, for real. Like, damn, man. He's just coming down, doing whatever you want, looked like he was at 55th by itself. See, we're in a society where we don't remember last night, but remember he shot the three
Starting point is 00:35:36 on Anthony Davis and Anthony Day started blushing like, this nigga nasty. Yeah, he's like, this nigga nice. This nigga nice, yo! Yeah. You know, you don't stand a chair. You're going to live in a dude. You're like, that nigga, nice, man.
Starting point is 00:35:53 He ran back. I was like, what? Yeah, we was watching. You fucking joker number one and Wembe number two, man. He did. Wimby, my nigga, I think Wimby could do that, but I don't count him as a son of jokker.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Yo. Yeah, man. I gotta go with it. I gotta go with it. Yeah, shout out the AD, too. You shout out the AD, yeah. Push him a good season. Healthy season, man.
Starting point is 00:36:19 That's joker niggas, wow, man. Then the part for me with the joke is that I really don't believe, I think he does play 100%. I don't want to say take it 100%. But this ain't his favorite thing to do in the world. Like, you know how basketball players love playing basketball? Like this nigga, he didn't want to go to the championship parade of the championship
Starting point is 00:36:46 that Denver won because he wanted to go back home and fuck with his horse's paws like y'all, I got to get, man. Niggas said, parade Thursday, it's Monday now I gotta leave. So you can't leave, bro. If a niggas don't even love this,
Starting point is 00:36:59 like everybody else loves it and to play this high quality, it's crazy. I'm going number one with the Joker, We're number two. Yeah, good debate there. Y'all in the comments down below, let us know who y'all are choosing.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Are you all you choosing Wemby or y'all choosing the Joker? It's a good one here, both great players, but we want to hear from y'all. Okay, y'all, we're going to go to break. When we return, we will get into some fan questions. Don't go anywhere. I'm going to get my regardless.
Starting point is 00:37:26 I'm a get my regardless. This ain't fixing. I promise you, it's a promise. Yes, it is. And look, I'm being modest. I'm going to get mine regardless. I'm going to get my regardless. I'm a get mine regardless.
Starting point is 00:37:41 I'm a get mine regardless. Welcome back. So today, y'all, we are back with some more fan questions. We have some live callers joining the call. First up, y'all, we've got Haseek. Killer murder, stat. What's going on today? So about Hizek, how you doing, brother? It's going pretty good, pretty good. Good. How are y'all today? Good, man.
Starting point is 00:38:02 That's great to hear. Yeah. I got, I got questions. I got questions. Killing murder? You know, you got something? clearing up to do for me. So, honestly, I'll start with murder, because it was that bad. Murder, 24 hours to live. Why did you say you're turning out the girl's dead of
Starting point is 00:38:26 heterosexual? I need explanation. No, because if you think about it, were you doing something before those 24 hours? Like, with someone else? I don't know. I need clearing up for that. That's not that for me.
Starting point is 00:38:47 I'm not sexual. I would like to agree. I don't see that one. Yeah, yeah. You might be reaching. You might be reaching. You're reaching. You reach it.
Starting point is 00:39:01 How? Because think about it, right? Are you doing something before that? Because, like, I don't know. You could be doing something else with other type of girls, if you ask me. That's what I think. It's not reaching to me Yeah, that's your own brain
Starting point is 00:39:18 is squilling on you No Go ahead Go on the killer Go on the killer The whole thing about it He's old for one right now The whole thing about it is
Starting point is 00:39:28 The whole thing about is this And I'm not here to defend this nigga But even if he was turning out Dykes is still a girl Like it's a girl I can't It's a reach
Starting point is 00:39:43 It's a reach It's a reach. It's a reach. Okay, then we'll move to killers. We'll move to killers. We'll move to killers. Losing weight part two. The scrutiny, y'all fellas screwing me.
Starting point is 00:39:58 That's a good one. That's crazy. You said that, Kim? You got... Yeah. Come home. Come home to me. Come home with me.
Starting point is 00:40:09 Play it. Play this song. Play this song. I didn't hear it. Play this song. I can't go with that. I might have said that, but I would say that niggas is trying to get over on me if I said that.
Starting point is 00:40:20 But that's a good one. What's the verse again? Let me hear it. I hang on one second. I couldn't get over it. He said, baby due today, got a moving name. Fuck the scrutiny. Y'all fellas screwing me.
Starting point is 00:40:40 Hillen that never left guns on me. Y'all can hear that's what good. yell out homicide. That's a good one, though. I like that one, but in New York, at that time, that meant the nigga was ice-dum. But you're getting screwed, killer?
Starting point is 00:40:54 Killer, you getting screwed by a grown man? Now, that was a good one, though. Now, for real, that was a good one, but I was just giving you context behind that. But you're absolutely right. That was a good, good one to catch. That was definitely a pause. You caught that.
Starting point is 00:41:13 one nigga how zee where you from man yeah that was a good one baltimore man it's raven's year title count on the move murder he's coming to baltimore bro lamar is hurt he's injured he might be back ma'm coming back next week and as soon as he plays the builds it's all over forget about it derrick henry's gonna be healthy everybody's healthy, forget about it. Now we're taking a screenshot of you, pause, so we'll be able to put the title above your head. I hope town is on the moon.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Listen, Nick, if Baltimore make it to the Super Bowl, we got to bring him back on. We'll bring you back on for a portion of the episode if Baltimore makes it to the Super Bowl. But I will say this. That was a good one. You caught me on Mines. I'm not, can't agree with Mace's one.
Starting point is 00:42:16 I don't think that was a pause with Mace said. But I do agree with you when you called me on mind. And we're going to bring you back if Baltimore makes it to the Super Bowl. Title towns on the move. You're officially set it. Title counts on the move 100%. Also, by the way, the Steelers aren't it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:35 We're not doing this. We're not doing this thing. Just as great time going to the Super Bowl. We're in the same division. See you on the other side, Hazique. I like y'all's all, man. All right, bro. That was a little bit crazy.
Starting point is 00:42:52 That was crazy. I got you. That was crazy. That was good. You're on point, man. Got you. Appreciate you. All right.
Starting point is 00:42:59 See you, man. Love for the show Paul. All right. Okay, y'all. That was my nigger. Nigger named Hazek. Yeah. First, I was mad at him because he messed up with murder.
Starting point is 00:43:10 but nigger named Zeke came through. Nigger named Zeke came through. Yeah, I appreciate that. Yeah, it's funny. Okay, next up, I believe I don't want to butcher his name. I believe it's Cartice. Hey, what's going on, everybody? Hello, how are you?
Starting point is 00:43:27 What's up, bro? How are you going, man? Cartese looked like he rap. You rap, Cartese? I used to do a little something a couple of years ago. Yeah, yeah, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's cool. I've been called like Curtis, like some wild stuff, Cardacus, you know, just different stuff, but it's all good.
Starting point is 00:43:48 I'm glad to be here, Stad, glad to be here, Statt. First of all, I thank y'all for this experience and let me on the show. And of course, like, I have two questions. All right, the first question, I kind of want to, you know, add a little ambiance to it. I remember a couple of episodes ago where Mace, was fixing his earpiece. And when he was fixing his earpiece, I automatically was reverted back to more money, more problems when he had this persona, Mace Gumble.
Starting point is 00:44:23 Now, my question to Mace is, is, all right, playing the persona Mace Gumble way back then and considering what you're doing today, doesn't it almost seem prophetic? Yeah, I was thinking about that, the glasses and everything. Yeah, that mean we saw the future. We was already in the future, man.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Thank you. Thank you. Now, as I was thinking of the word prophetic, I thought of the word, the prophecy. And of course, Cam has a song called prophecy on his first album, you know, which is one of my favorite songs.
Starting point is 00:45:04 But I don't want to talk about prophecy right now. I want to get into the song Confess because Cam, there was a lot. lot of wild stuff that was said on there. And I'mma just put like a pause for the past on what I'm about to say, where you had a lyric that said, oh yeah, I got my balls pierced and my psychiatrist, I ain't seen them all year. So I was wondering what was going through your mind when you wrote that and why was your psychiatrist the first person that you thought of when you had that gun?
Starting point is 00:45:39 This was a Unrevera song, man This was a Lance Rivera song You know it's crazy I didn't want to And I'm not making excuses for it You know Zip you was in that studio We did that song and all the lights went out And I'm like, you can't make music like this, bro
Starting point is 00:45:59 It was like your older electricity went out As soon as we went to finish that song I don't know if you was there or not But you know it's crazy I did an interview and I'm not making excuses for the bar, that's your right, it's crazy bar. But I remember I was doing an interview with
Starting point is 00:46:15 Drink Champs and he's like, Ken, why don't you perform any of your songs for your first album? And it's like, I don't have the control I wanted on my first album. You know, and I'm not being disrespectful to anybody up there for the, because they gave me a great opportunity and that's all you can do
Starting point is 00:46:31 is get to my opportunity. But basically these guys work with Biggie Smalls and Little Kim and Junior the mafia, so I was following a lot of they leave, and I didn't get to do a lot of stuff I wanted. Some of the stuff, like 357 and pulling and all the stuff that I wanted to do, I did, but a lot of stuff that they wanted me to do,
Starting point is 00:46:51 I compromised as well because they came from a good background. So that was one of the unsongs, and he's like, yo, act like you're in a confession booth, and you're going crazy, and this down the third, and that was some of the stuff I came out with, but it's unacceptable. And I wanted to say that you're correct today, The guests are absolutely correct on my bars today. I have to give you guys credit.
Starting point is 00:47:13 You guys are two for two, pause on my bars. Absolutely. I have no answer for your question. I don't know where my state of mind was at, but it wasn't totally me that had that idea. That was a great question, great call-up. It's cool. It's cool, y'all, you know,
Starting point is 00:47:30 because y'all came from arguably the best rap error to me. I appreciate that. Fire, fire. Well, thanks Curtis for joining. Appreciate you, bro. Thank you for letting me be here. Of course. He made a good point that, do you consider him,
Starting point is 00:47:48 do you think he called you Uncle Tom on the low? I think that's what he was talking. Brian Gumble isn't really black. You was in character when you did that. You're not that person up here that you was playing in that video. I think, now don't get it wrong, I think you did a exceptionally great job. When you did that video, I said, look at this nigga here.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Over here acting this shit, man. That was the big budget, too. That's what the budget was big. Budget was crazy for that video. I saw, oh, they got the real budget. You flying around? Yeah. A long story with that, when I came out of the studio,
Starting point is 00:48:32 I think you was there in a hit factory. I'm not sure, or you had left. And I came off the set and we was in a hit factory and Dame Dash came through and he saw me with the red, the red shiny suit on. It was the first time somebody had seen me. He said, nigger, you got on makeup? That thing, Dave was heating me up all day.
Starting point is 00:49:03 I had to kick him out of the studio. say word niggas got you in makeup you know dang yeah he's gonna stop he was calling everybody yo this thing is down here
Starting point is 00:49:17 with a red what he said he got he got a red glitter suit on and makeup what was you doing that was the wrong person
Starting point is 00:49:31 to let you see that was the wrong person to see me like that That time. Yeah. Wait a minute. You got on makeup, nigga? I said, yo,
Starting point is 00:49:44 Jay, chill out of me. He started calling everybody to the studio. Like seven people I had to drive. I think that's what me and him started arguing. Because me and you killer never knew where we started arguing that. That was it. It was like, you know, you went to make. up, nigga?
Starting point is 00:50:06 You might have no. I was arguing before that, though. Yeah. Yeah, that was the straw. Yeah, that was the last straw. Oh, man. Yeah, man. That's the wrong person at that time.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Yeah. So we've got time for one more. We've got a written question from Jim Shuttlesworth. So he asked, in your primes, who wins one v-one basketball, Mace, or Cam? We know Cam was all-American, and he got the MVP at the rucker. But the streets are saying Mace would have put the clamps on cam pause y'all what do we think cam wins depends on what day it is it depends on what day it is man mace mace has a lot you know one-on-one is different from
Starting point is 00:50:54 full-quartered mace has a lot of um skill set that i don't have um depending on who get the ball first i mean i can't say i win that be time i can say i can say Mace ones any time. Mace dribbles better than me. Probably shoots better than me. That's what I'm a shooting now. I turned into the shoot. I couldn't shoot for shit.
Starting point is 00:51:15 All right, shoots better than me. I'm thinking I'm just more athletic. Not saying I don't have a skill set, but Mace has a really good skill set. I think, depends on who day, what day of the week it is, man. And how hard pause everybody's foul?
Starting point is 00:51:30 I'm about to say that the game might not end. Like the game, like, you know, I don't know how it goes one-on-one now, but that game might take six hours because you keep fouling. Because there's no fouling, and you just got to accept it, too. Like, you wouldn't even want to fight your man
Starting point is 00:51:48 because you know that's coming with it poured. Like maybe if you fight playing somebody else that you don't know, but that last, you got to win by four points. That last four points, you know. A lot of foul. Yeah, you got to basically score while you get foul. You just got to fight. You got to fight.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Say the AN1. Yeah, you got to get an M1 because it's going to get filed. And to be honest with you, the other person wouldn't even take it personal because they know it's going to come down to that. Fair. Okay. Well, shout out, Jim, for the question. There's your answer.
Starting point is 00:52:18 I'm going to throw this one in for me. Who do you all think would be the better coach? Because I'm curious. I want to see y'all go ahead and head coach it. That's what I want to see. Mace coach before how to go. I told a killer a story about my son. We was playing A-U.
Starting point is 00:52:41 I said, man, you got to be hungry. He said, how do you get hungry if you're not hungry? That's wild. I said it's over. It's over. Y'all can keep the uniform and the gym and anything else, man. I think, I don't know, be a better coach. would say I'd be a cooler coach.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Yeah. I'd be she, vice one of them. Yeah, it would be she. I'd be cool. I'll be super duper cool. And then I'd be honest with you. If it ain't working out, I quit. Damn.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Niggily. Yeah. This ain't working out. Yeah, I wouldn't. Because I don't want to be sitting and grabbing you. Like, I don't know how these coaches work today. Maybe you should grab a yo. You probably can't do that no more.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Bobby Knight and all. Yeah. the shit on the court. Yeah, nigga grab you by your jersey and throw a nigga. Like, you can't do that no more. I don't know. You said you'd be she bites, not Durham? Durham, Durham, third, too.
Starting point is 00:53:45 They was together. The young term. Put the battery in your back. Let's go, Mr. Beffer. Let's go, Mr. Beth. Y'all won. Yo, that battery, they put on your back on Young Life. Hey, yo.
Starting point is 00:53:59 They make you feel American, especially you got an isolation. Oh, he can't guard you. Yeah, he can't guard you. He can't guard you. Move y'all. Move out his way. You start skipping. Yeah, I see Thurne coach, I mean, more recently than when we played,
Starting point is 00:54:19 I see him coach, Matt, Tom Fly about 10 years ago in Texas and say, R-A-U, and Thurne was kind of mean. I was like, damn, Thurr was yelling and screamed. He switched his whole shit up. But you got to realize, you know what you got to realize, and I didn't realize at the time, Thurm is probably like only about four or five years older than us. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:40 So if you, you know, he just started coaching him. So if you're 13, he probably was 18 and 19 coaching. He wasn't that far removed from being our age, so he can relate to that shit. Yeah, Thurm, she, um, Thurne to me is a better coach, but she was just some cool nigger. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:58 I remember Mark Key was there. They'd like, let's go Bismarck, Bismarck, Bismarck, Bismarck, Bismarck, Miss Mark, yo, I was telling the nigger sin about Marquis. I was like, yo, I've never seen a nigga so nice that didn't even make it to junior high school. Like, what school did he play for ever? Did he ever make it to his school?
Starting point is 00:55:16 I don't know if Bidz was exceptional, for real. Yeah, but did he even go to, like, I play for any school ever? Because I was like, I know he didn't make it to high school. Did he make it to junior high school? I don't think so. Yeah, man. How you don't make it?
Starting point is 00:55:32 How are you that nice and don't make it to do? Junior high school, man. Great discussion, y'all. In the comments down below, let us know who you all think. And shout to Marquis. I know he's out there watching somewhere. Yeah. When they hear me on Instagram out of nowhere,
