Talk to it is what it is.
I'm Treasure Wilson, aka Stat Baby, along with your host, Mace, and Cam.
Cam, what's good, man?
How you doing, man?
I'm good. How you, man? You're all right?
Good, man. Your mic lighting up.
It's crazy.
Hey, yo.
Mike lighting up.
Hey, I thought it was all bets off
Because Nick said,
move the mic closer to your mouth,
you know what I'm saying?
I ain't saying nothing.
So I thought we, you know,
It was, you know,
I don't know what's going on.
I have, like, no man talking about my mic.
Yeah.
I prefer to lead out to the woman, man.
It's good.
First of all, I want to apologize for not being there.
I was waiting for the first day.
Mace wasn't going to be there.
And I had some obligations prior to when we filmed to be there.
I was looking at the comments last show.
Niggas called me.
I didn't know I'm Zoom Ron.
Zoom Ron is crazy.
Zoom Ron is crazy.
I'm not doing Zoom.
I don't like Zoom Ron.
This is a me.
I promise you that would have to be no more Zoom wrong starting on Monday for the rest of the year.
No more.
I'm not Zoom.
I don't even like Zoom Ron, man.
Yeah, Zoom Ron is crazy.
But let's go, Stad.
Crazy.
I mean, before we start, I have something I have to say, Cam, no comments for Aaron Rogers.
I'm wearing this stuff all week.
I'm wearing the day all week.
I don't care.
People were thinking that's why Cam didn't show up.
That's what everybody was saying.
You know Cam didn't show up, right?
It's crazy.
You know what's crazy?
Listen, let me tell you, sir, there's no undefeated seasons since 1972.
Y'all got a nice victory.
I give you all the victory.
And for people to think I'm ducking.
Ducking me?
Ducking you, the Steelers, who are stealing nation, whatever.
That just goes to show.
This is what I'm talking about, Mace, that the media
that we should be so happy that Aaron Rogers beat Cincinnati.
It's a big deal, which it shouldn't even be a big deal.
It should not be a big deal that Aaron Rogers is beating the Cincinnati bagels.
But congratulations, stat.
I'm happy for you, stealing nation.
The rest of you guys said congratulations.
This was your Super Bowl.
See, this was LSU being an Ole Miss being LSU and then lose next week.
Thanks.
This is back.
This is backhanded.
He's like, yeah, congrats.
But this is y'all's Super Bowl and ain't nobody ducking y'all.
No, we're going to leave it at.
We had a face off.
You said we weren't going to win.
And we did.
So yes, we're going to take that and this victory all the way throughout this week until our next game.
Okay.
Okay.
That's what I said.
I said congratulations on a good week.
If that's what you like to celebrate during the week, congratulations.
If that's your thing.
We celebrate wins.
Congratulations.
A good win.
And because the win was versus your team, I'd make that clear.
But yes, glad to have you back.
Congratulations.
What's your, are y'all, are y'all two and one, too?
Yeah, we all are the whole.
Ispinicus scary.
Yeah, not everybody.
Not everybody.
It's sad.
Not everybody, you know, speak for you, you know.
Our divisions.
Yes.
I was speaking for us.
Don't put me over there, you know?
Don't jinx nothing.
Hey, hey, hey.
Don't jinx nothing.
That's how it starts.
The mighty one, man.
With your two teams.
But anyway.
The mighty, the mighty chiefs.
Anywho, mighty.
Mighty, mighty.
My boy got hurt, so I don't know, you know.
H ain't hurt, but.
Things can happen any week.
It's getting crazy.
Nick, please.
Nick, please put together a clip of Mason
the last five weeks of last year's season for the Chiefs.
Just put it together.
Just how he left them.
Title Towns on the morning.
It was just ridiculous.
Put it together.
Please, whenever you get a chance so I can play it for him
because I don't think he remembers.
Hey, Cam, they break up the makeup.
That's all they do.
That's a song, too.
All right.
You come in a hot pool.
You know what's doing.
Come on, let's go.
Come on.
Let's go.
Come on.
Yeah, let's go.
Well, we're going to start.
Let's go.
We're going to start with this Eagles team because it's just been rough throughout the last
couple of weeks across the board in football, I guess, except for your team.
But like I said, you never know where it's going to go.
So the Eagles got smoked on Monday Night Football versus the bear.
20, 7 to 7, and the Bears didn't even have Caleb Williams.
So there's actually a viral video going around right now with Tvante Smith,
ignoring Jalen Hertz on the sideline.
We saw things got a little heated, which, of course, the game was looking pretty bad.
But Nick, if you want to roll the clip, want to get you guys' reaction to this interaction.
So, Mays, thoughts.
I mean, what you want me to say here?
The guy is actually, you know, he's playing against.
a team that doesn't have their star quarterback, they're losing.
He's not getting the plays he wants.
But who knows?
Looking off is better than hooking off, you know?
He could have swung, but I think he's taking a page out of A.B.'
I'm making a bag today.
In the bag today.
Yeah, he said, I'm looking off.
It's better than hooking off.
You know, he's sitting there thinking, you know, my man, last pause last year,
left because of him. Now he's
talking to me crazy. I don't
know if he don't think I read a book on
the sideline, but that's where they're at
right now. I mean, you're losing
against a quarterback. That ain't even a starter.
And pause, you're almost getting blown out.
Pause. It's crazy.
Nick, let me see that clip one more time, please.
You know, I even paying him no attention.
See, this is what I'll be saying
about the media
and clips like that, right? And that's why
I've seen that clip previously,
that I've seen him just now,
but I wanted to make sure I've seen it one more time
before I said what I said.
If you look at that clip,
Jaylen Hurst ain't saying that.
He may be looking at the nigga like,
nigga, I know you ain't just missed that.
Like, if you look at the clip,
Jaylan Hurst just looking at him like,
and he's not looking bad.
So how is he ignoring him?
You know how that shit like you did,
like you know how you in traffic
and you speed, somebody speed past you
and cut you off and then you catch him at the light and they don't want to look your way.
That could be, that's what could be going on because Janele Hurtz.
Mouth pause isn't even moving.
So I don't, I'm not jacking he's ignoring him.
It just looked like he looked at the, to me, it looked like Jayland Herschel was going to make the
nigger like, really, really?
And he don't want to look at him.
That's how I'm going to take the clip.
Now to the other end of the, you know, just back to the game.
When you think about the game, look, Philly got beat up.
It was one of them fights.
Maywever against Othorogadi.
He just got, they got beat up.
That's just that.
And it was surprising to a lot of people
because, you know, like stat,
inmates just said,
they didn't have this darn quarterback.
They thought it was going to be a run game.
Case Keenham came out and did his thing.
Case Keen was the backup quarterback for the Chicago
bands for those that don't know.
He's been all over the place.
He played 32 teams in the league.
I think he played for 29.
I'm exaggerating, but he's been all over the place.
38 years old journeymen, so a lot of people are saying,
damn, Case Keenham came out and bawled out and did his thing.
But I will say this, Philly didn't play good.
Well, we know that they didn't play good at all and they got beat up.
But a couple weeks ago, last week I should say,
when Caleb Williams got hurt,
I kind of got on Ben Johnson's ass for us about saying,
stop running him out, stop saying you're going to do it.
saying you're going to do that.
And what Ben Johnson's show was he's an elite coach,
offensive mind, I should say.
You could put him in the categories with Sean McVeigh
or Kyle Sharingham, that type of coach.
Because what he did for Case Keenham,
put him in positions for us,
that is going to make him look good.
And Case Keenham look great.
He looked like a starting quarterback
for somebody who's 38 and been all over the place.
I don't think he started since, I know he didn't play since 2012.
I don't think he started since the last day.
but he looked really great and that's a tribute to I'm not taking them away from
Case Keen or the rest of the staff or the players but Ben Johnson put him in those type
of positions for us once again to make sure that he shine and when I sat there and
thought about I say yo this kid Ben Johnson's offensive mind is great and Caleb
Williams is such a natural quarterback if he buys into Ben Johnson's system and be
a pocket passer you know not saying that isn't good to scramble outside the
pocket and get plays done.
But if he buys into Ben Johnson system, the bears could be really, really dangerous.
So I don't want to undermine Case Keenan's performance or how bad Philly played,
but I want to give Ben Johnson more credit than anybody else for this game.
Very great offensive mind.
Had him, you know, for a pocket quarterback passer, he made everybody look stupid.
And everybody thought that the bears were just going to run the ball all game.
He had a trick for their ass.
And definitely out of trick.
for Philly. So congratulations to
Chicago Beds on the victory.
And the case, Keenum. It was a special
moment, very genuine. His kids was
there. Got to see it. You know, they've probably
been waiting a whole career for this type of game
for him to have. And I
thought it was very genuine. It was something dope to see.
Yeah, I think
there was the Chicago defense
that really did it.
Really, because it looked like every play
that it was just like
this close to an interception, right?
Every time it was like, at least
like three or four times. Then he finally got the pickoff in the fourth quarter. But I would also
credit their defense. And I look at the names that they got on Chicago. I couldn't keep up with
the names like Manungai and Oduce or something like that. All of those guys had good games.
But it seemed like this game was lost since the first or the second quarter. I forgot exactly
where they sub where they subbed um hurts out and then they put the quarterback in and then he threw the
ball away ever since then they was trying to catch the bears and they just couldn't catch them and it
seemed like they like raymond was going crazy he looked like usher raymond out there we might have
to call him usher raymond from now on that might be his new name he was looking he was looking like
he was ready to play and then swift was running every time he got the ball so this this chicago team this
was a good win. I think because everybody was present for
Philly, so it was no excuse. And you got the quarterback out there
getting his first win. But this is a real good win because it's not like
he was playing against a hurt Philadelphia team. So I think this is
a real feather to put in this hat.
Yeah. But yeah, and the add on to what you just said, Mace,
he didn't get subbed out. He got knocked out. Oh, yeah.
He had to put him in concussion protocol. Yeah, he was in a tent. My bad. Yeah.
You tried to scramble and got your head knocked off for us.
And they said, now you're going to sit out a couple plays to make sure you good.
So that's why I said that they got beat up and it was smash-mouth football.
So just to add on the way that you're saying, salute to Chicago.
Yeah, and thanks for sharing that because that means they could have been on the side.
He could have been asking what just happened to me.
We don't know.
Could have been anything.
But whatever is happening, it's just not looking good.
Like you guys both said and not to beat a dead horse.
A lot of good upside for Chicago.
It's looking like a lot of holes for the Eagles,
because even I thought this was an interesting stat.
The Eagles are the only team to not score in the first quarter this season.
And so, of course, now we're at the point where people are starting the blame game.
It's like, do we blame Jalen Hertz?
Do we blame our own line?
Do we blame our head coach, Nick Seriani.
Where is this kind of coming from?
Because the Eagles have had issues here and there throughout with their offensive line for some time now,
It's been just trying to pinpoint where that comes from.
And I think now, especially because I feel like Eagles fans were on such a high,
seeing this loss to a backup quarterback.
And it's not even like, we saw like their backup played great.
Like it wasn't like he would, like you said, Mace, it wasn't a sorry game.
This is one of the games was like, okay, everybody's head to head.
And why not get Sequeira 100 yards?
Pause.
Why not give Sequeonda ball a little bit more?
Pause.
It seemed like every time he got, he got the football,
he was running.
But they wasn't going to him as much.
I don't know what that was about.
Yeah.
Just some bad calls,
but hopefully they figure it out.
So moving on to the Giants.
So the Giants have been making some moves.
There's two big ones that we're going to discuss.
This first one.
First, they got J.J. McCarthy from the Vikings.
So, Mace, do you think that he'll be a good fit for the Giants?
Where do you kind of see this going for them?
I don't think this is a good idea.
I'm just going to go straight, straightforward.
Even though the young man got 1,600 yards paused last year,
it doesn't seem like he got more touchdowns than interceptions.
And that's always a bad sign for me,
from being from Victorville or whatever you want to call it, you know,
title town.
You can't throw the ball away more than you get touchdowns.
That's just something Arabia would say, you know, shout out to Arabia.
When you're this kind of quarterback, you get this kind of opportunity,
I don't think it'll be good for New York.
I think it's good because he's a taller quarterback,
statue like them taller quarterbacks.
But I don't know if this is going to really make a difference.
But this is the opportunity of a lifetime
because he's the type of quarterback that could fit the scheme of what they was trying to do.
Like Nick was saying the other week,
that normally when you get the second quarterback,
he's not the same style of play.
So this would be real interesting.
And if there ever was a time to shine, this is it.
And then it's in New York, New York.
So welcome, Jay McCarty.
We're going to give you an honest try.
We'll see you this Sunday.
Cam.
Yes, 1600 yards.
1600 yards is pathetic, actually.
I don't remember the top, but I think Matthew Stafford had more than 4,200 yards.
He's at the top, but I'm pretty sure in between Matthew Stafford and 4,216.
There's a lot of quarterbacks there.
So, but they had to do this.
The reason they had to do this because it's no backup quarterback.
You had James Winston.
I think depth chart was really weak.
I don't even think they had a third string quarterback.
So if you got Jackson Dart hurt the rest of the year and you only got Jamie Winston,
you got to go get somebody.
I don't think if Jamie Winston plays decent, decent he sees the, or Jamie Winston doesn't get hurt
and plays decent, he doesn't see the field.
But you got to get somebody just.
never know. I remember they was talking about it if Jamie Winston get hurt. They didn't
have a quarterback last week or whatever week it was. They were talking about putting the
tight in and somebody poor, somebody who used to play quarterback in college or high school.
And they're talking about this is who they got to go do third string. So do I think this
is a good move? I think it's a necessary move. You have to go get somebody. I know Russell
will, like I was teasing last week, you talking about Russell Wilson maybe one.
to go back and not announce and so on and so forth.
But listen, this was a necessary move.
You had to go get somebody if you only had two QBs on the depth chart.
Every team usually has three.
So good, bad, and different.
I think it was necessary.
This would have been the perfect time for Russell Wilson, though.
Right now.
Everybody's getting hurt.
Nobody could sub you out.
This is why you got to know when to hold them.
Pause.
There you know.
You're on a roll today.
You're on a roll today.
Wow.
Let me ask you this.
When do you know when to hold them?
I was thinking my brain was running too fast.
I could have said the song is no one to hold them or pause.
Foldum.
So the fold them would have been even worse.
Hey, yo.
It's just going before you get the words to come out.
Hold them and fold them.
You should have just loved well enough alone, man.
Hold them and fold them.
Hey, yo, did you?
I don't know if y'all talked about this other day.
Did y'all see when Michael Pennick said pause in his interview?
No, I didn't see that.
Y'all didn't see that after he went.
The game number day
did the interview, he was like, pause.
Yo, Nick, you got to pull that up
during breaking something, man.
Yeah, dead middle of an interview.
He's like, yeah, he said, I forget what he said.
We held the D-back pause or something like that.
It was crazy everywhere.
He was on point.
He was on point.
Now, you can have to roll the clip.
I did not see that.
But shout on Michael Punnings for sure.
Okay.
Now on to OBJ.
So obviously, we discussed Jay J.J. McCarthy.
The reunion tour for OBJ and the Giants
have came to an end.
if they actually decided to release him.
So do you think, Mace, after hearing this,
this is officially the end of the road,
or you think another team could get some good use out of it?
Yeah, when you're dealing with corporations,
the writing is on the wall.
You're fired before you get fired, right?
Normally when you're dealing with black people,
you're fired when they get upset,
with other nationalities of people.
You're fired before you're fired.
They're just waiting to get your,
your replacement pause, but in his case, if you get, if you get release pause on a third game,
this is just week three.
If they're willing to let you go now, I don't think there's another spot.
I don't think there's another place to go.
I don't think they would do that.
You got to remember this was an OBJ that was in Miami, and I'm a fan of OBJ, you know,
love everything that he's brought to the sport, style, swag, everything like that.
but it just seemed like people don't want to they're done with giving them a shot that's what i think
and when it happens in miami then new york these are big markets before that he was in
l-a right so all the big cities are gone yeah um obj he have what i would say about this
i don't want i don't want to disrespect me because i think he's a good player i just want to
choose my words wisely so pardon he's uh he's uh he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a he's a
He's a sensational player.
He's a tongue.
He was really good.
But he became,
damn,
what's the term that I want to use?
Sometimes a distraction.
And I may be wrong using the word distraction.
Yeah.
But you know.
He became cultural.
He became cultural.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Cultural is a great word, too.
Bigger than the program.
Yeah.
I didn't want to use those words.
Catchy.
Yeah, all of that.
Trendy.
Yeah.
When you, right, when you bring a lot to the game more than the game,
owners look at me like, this is, it's worth it.
You know what I'm saying?
Do we want to deal with a die here?
Do we want to deal with the, whatever else he brings?
Like, I don't, be honest.
with you into OBJ's credit the last few years.
We're in a Richard Mill when you're catching a ball,
pause and you drop your watch on the 20th yard, stuff like that.
Yeah, so when you become bigger than the program,
and I don't want to accuse him of this
because to be honest with you, my personal opinion,
the last few years, he's kind of been under the radar
off the field.
You know, he's been off under the radar.
What does he have,
as he waiting,
and six,
seven,
eight touchdowns
to get back crazy?
You know what I'm saying?
You don't know.
And it isn't producing,
like,
you know,
these three games that he played,
they put in some mutual split,
but I think the Giants gave him that credit
to be like,
we didn't cut him.
It's mutual,
you know,
even though we know he got cut.
But is it worth,
is it worth what he brings?
And I think he's been under the radar,
but if you remember,
OBJ,
he flew to Miami,
me one day and got on the boat right the day or two before a playoff game was on there with
chicks and everybody else and so on and so forth you got to remember a lot of things he done i remember
one of his celebrations in the end zone he was a dog and lift his leg up and pee and got fine
he was doing all fours lift one leg up and p this is where o j o bj broke to the table and for him to
played three games and not get one reception, that's crazy. So I think his time, his role on
the team was limited. He didn't like the role he was getting. I think that he thinks he's running
these players and I'm saying he's not. I'm just saying what his mindset may be. There's somebody
going to pick me up before the season's over. You know, the same way people forget the Rams,
mays mention that he went, they picked him up. He ended up winning the Super Bowl. And maybe that's
what he's out in his career. Like somebody going to come grab me before. So it's like right now,
I don't know the timeline for Tarreek Hill to come back,
but if he could get healthy before the season's over,
he's going to get a contract too.
Tarreek Hill will be an asset in another month or two.
Depending on his health, I don't know which help is that.
And maybe OBJ has that same mindset,
but they said it's a mutual split.
You know, but I just think that he isn't producing the way he usually produces.
And maybe he's like, nah, if niggins not going to have me in the lineup,
where it's three games and I'm not getting one reception,
maybe I don't need to be here
but to Mace's point
I'm not sure where the nigga go man
you know
he's kind of been around the world
I ain't gonna say
Kate's Keenum he's been everywhere
but he's been a few places
and it's about what you bring to the team
you know
you're playing with Lamar Jackson
you're playing with staff
you're playing with some good quarterbacks
man and
one thing we know about quarterbacks
if you're going to help them
complete their passes and
make them have more
will pass in the house, they're going to fight for you.
And I haven't seen any quarterbacks fighting for him the last few years to keep him on the
team.
And another thing that's probably an issue with OBJ, you know, guys hate on OBJ.
I got to keep it a buck.
You know, he probably got one of the best dating records, you know, with girls that he's dated.
So, you know, when people got more money than you and they're richer than you, but the girls
still want you, they probably want you.
they probably won't fight for them, you know?
So shout out to OBJ.
I just want to keep it real, OJ.
I meant OBJ.
I mean, OBJ.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know.
To both of you guys' points, I think it is like a mutual respect thing because, I mean,
the Giants had him at first to just say like, hey, we're just going to part ways,
which is a good opportunity for him to, one, even just be able to keep making money.
Because I know these NFL players always talk about how the money and the contracts don't stretch
as long as they would expect it to.
and we've kind of talked about this in the past with like Russ, like, or Kirk Cousins,
like people are going to play as long as they can until they can at least get into that
broadcasting role.
And I don't even know if that's something that OBJ would fully be interested in.
I don't, me personally, I don't really foresee that for him.
So I think he would just play as long as he could.
And then even just as far as like product on the field as far as consistency, I know
Cam mentioned him playing with Lamar, that Ravens era, like back in 2023 was his last,
I would say most consistent playing field for him.
So I don't want to say he's lost it,
but I think it's just we're seeing all these like hungry new guys
who are being drafted and be able to actually translate on the field.
And I know people were making fun of him.
And I don't like to make fun of people for this,
but like for all the dancing and stuff,
they're like, dang, this is the only highlight really we done got from OBJ
as opposed to him playing because also to Cam's point,
he's only had one target, zero catches.
So it's just not looking too good.
But at least maybe a team like the 49ers who don't,
really, who've had a lot of, like, players injured, especially in the wide receiver
locker room.
Like, maybe they could have a fit for him there, but I don't know.
Did he ever play with Kansas City?
No.
He played Giants, Browns, Rams, Ravens, and the Dolphins.
You want him over with the Chiefs?
Just because?
You know.
That means no.
Listen, I got a question.
I got a question.
I got a question for me.
It may say niggas is hate on them because.
because um his girls he got the girls listen i think they ain't on them for something else
let me let me and i may be part of this hate i may be part of it if i played in the NFL
nick i just sent you a picture could you show this to the team please real quick but i just
sent you i'm hating on this and i'm just going to be out and open about it if mace's cool
with this then i don't know about what you about this say i didn't say all that
Well, I'm just saying, I don't, I'm just saying, well, if you don't know, now you know, I don't know about the girls.
But what I just said, Nick, for everybody to see, I'm actually hating on this.
And I'm actually mad that it went public.
Nick, do you got it?
What?
Yeah, like, if you want tattoos on your ass and everybody to know that, you know, that.
If that's for the girls' mace, then I don't know.
Come on, OVJ.
Stat make things
That's trendy.
Yeah.
I just feel like I've seen a lot.
So I feel like, I don't know.
I know what's normal anymore.
That is desicitized.
I'm not.
Yeah.
Yo.
Yo.
Yeah.
So yo, I know.
This is what I'm trying to say.
Like, I know what the bitches are like.
Two tattoos on my ass.
And matter of fact, take a picture of it.
Why are they doing it?
That's a wild.
That's wow.
Yeah, so I don't know if niggas ain't on what Mace talking about.
I'm not disagreeing with Mace.
I just have a different opinion on it.
Mason co-sign that.
That's great.
I'm trying to say it.
But I'm not accused of OBJ or this.
I'm just saying when niggas got to be realized it,
and I'm not going to say nobody named.
Yeah.
niggas be around
bitches
to throw shit off
a lot of entertainers,
man.
Yo,
it's this rapper.
I'm not going to say,
it's this rapper, right?
And I love his song.
Niggas say,
niggas go get rich,
man, that's nasty work.
It's nasty.
I'm not accusing OBJ that
I'm not accusing him or that
But this is the arrow we end
This is going on
Statt, how do you feel, stat?
That's why I'm like I've seen a lot
Like I feel like I've seen a lot of
Men's your boyfriend
How do you feel about this picture, Statt?
Why you can't why you just answer the question, man?
I'm answering.
I don't think it's crazy
Because I feel like I've seen that a lot.
Is that the error we end with?
Guys is getting their girlfriend tatted on their butt?
Not on their butt, but like guys do dumb stuff all the time.
I've seen guys get matching tattoos on their butt.
Like, I don't know.
Because y'all are like, the reaction.
And I'm like, yeah, y'all have to remember, and no shade, I went to a white school.
I've seen guys do a lot of things that to y'all is not normal.
What's the guy name?
it doesn't matter
it would be like they would all do it in groups
they would get matching tattoos
they would all do their shirts and paint the stuff on their
check like I went to a wife
I know about that they do that in Duke
they had a shirt off and paint it
yeah like I've just seen a lot of like
tongue tattoos and it wasn't part
it wasn't hazing they just did it because they wanted to
they thought it was cool
and I'm just like okay yeah let me
let me just lay this scenario at
hey treasure come in
Look at our ass.
See, we got the tattoo.
How does this go that you've seen that?
Just like that?
You would be surprised.
They, look, they did not care.
I would be.
They were free-spirited.
It was school spirit.
I'm from the 90s.
They could pull whatever they want.
They would tattoo whatever they want.
The tongue tattoos.
Like, I've seen it all.
Sorry, y'all.
I just feel like a lot of this stuff.
But it's different.
It's different for different people.
If I went to a different school,
I probably wouldn't have seen that.
I've been like, that's crazy.
but I feel like I've seen a lot that y'all would never see it's probably better that way
obviously probably best that way on to school spirit but like semi-school spirit because he has moved on
from college cam ward right he is now three and seventeen as a starter posting the worst record
of a number one pick in NFL history through 20 games so titans fans feeling some type of way
there some people are calling for him to be bench but maize do you still believe in cam ward
Do you think he should be benched or do you think he still deserves more time to develop?
Now, I want you all to remember, I wasn't the guy that said people need time.
Y'all was the one saying that people need time.
I was saying after a while, it's time.
It's time to wrap.
It's time to get this show.
This show, we got to close this one up.
Pause, for real.
I mean, I don't see how you, how you stay.
with a quarterback that long that
performed so poorly.
Like, if you're not giving them the pieces
that it takes to
win games, that's one thing.
But when we're putting the
football in your hand and telling you to make
the plays you want to make, I think
it's important. I saw it even with your
door. When they put the football in his hand,
he was able to make plays. And I
think it's the energy that's surrounding
Cam War that got people
concerned, right? When you see him falling
back with his hands, like,
He's like he's on a corner almost.
It looked like he doesn't care about anything.
And I'm not here to say he doesn't care,
but if body language could speak,
he's saying he doesn't care about this team at all.
You know, I'm not sure if he got paid last week,
but it looked like they didn't pay them
and y'all want me to plan out and get paid.
That's the body language that he was shown.
But this record is horrible.
Hey, Cam.
sorry um i was trying to do some research real quick on the titans because i don't know shit about
them yeah 500 yards and three games like you said horrible yeah i just i just don't know
nothing about the titans because i can't waste my time on that um
i can't i'm trying to say and do a quick study on this shit i don't know all i can't all i can say is
I'm rooting for Cam Wood because you have to realize football is not basketball.
Basketball, your name goes in the lottery.
The worst team may not get the best player, et cetera, et cetera.
Football, you know that the first, the worst team is going to get the first pick.
And so they keep being the worst team.
And they're not making, see, that's the thing about it.
I don't want to throw him under the bus.
And I, you know, what Mace said and fans say,
The number one position in sports is quarterback.
So you're going to, just like you get the glory,
you're going to get the blame too.
But I don't know what they're surrounding him with.
I know they got rid of the coach last year.
They got a new coach.
I don't know what the defense looks like.
I don't know if he has pass protection.
I don't know if he's just not completing passes.
I have no idea.
It's not a lot of coverage.
You have to probably live in Tennessee to get every,
every spectrum of his game or the Tennessee Titans
to know what's going on because people are not wasting their time on it.
You know, niggins is not chilling at the bar and be like,
yo, we got to get home Tennessee playing.
Unless you live in Tennessee.
Nobody's rushing home to see Tennessee play,
so I don't want to throw them under the bus and they don't have to write pieces.
But I know one thing, your Mace is correct.
It is a very impatient position.
Paul is talking about the quarterback position.
And you get the glory, you going to get to blame.
But what's the solution?
Do they have a backup that's ready to go?
Do they have wide receivers are saying that, yo, he's not getting the ball, he's missing targets, etc.
I don't know the answer to this, but I do know you're going to get the blame when you're the quarterback at any NFL team period after a while.
Yeah, their backup quarterback is Shibiski.
And just in general, they are just going to need a lot more pieces to do.
just kind of get back on track.
I just feel like, especially with quarterbacks like we're seeing.
I mean, well, no, Mace, you were saying you want to see a product faster.
Why?
I mean, when you think about Cam, he had over 3,000 yards last year, right?
But his QBR was 33.
You know how poorly you have to be playing for your QBR to be 33 stat?
Yeah.
Killer.
This is, I mean, and he's from Miami.
So he's from Florida out.
I want to support.
I want to support.
You know what I'm saying?
Because I might run into him.
And he asks me about it.
You know, people think they can run up to me, Kilo, and I'm not with you.
Like, I'm going to change my mind.
They say, yo, such is in there right now.
He wants to talk to you.
I said, what do you want to talk to me about?
He need to go practice.
Don't get mad at me.
I'm doing my job.
He got to do his job.
I can't agree with that makes sense.
I can't say that's true.
You can't say it's true.
Paul George ran down on you.
You put me on the phone.
I'm just saying.
Paul George wasn't a threat.
Paul George wasn't a threat.
I got him on the phone.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
My dad, I'm just telling you.
I'm just telling you, I don't even come at your big dog.
Yeah, man.
You know, he wanted to know about the goat.
So I put him on the phone with you because he wanted to.
know about the goat.
Say last.
Shout out.
Shout out Paul George, I guess.
Shout out to the goat, man.
Shout out to the ghost, Paul George, man.
We had a whole goat
in bait the other day.
The new goat, man.
I mean, the new goat, because
you know, you're a move to goposed.
I wasn't here for the goat conversation.
I don't know I went,
but I will chime in in my mom.
opinion real quick.
Do you know what the goat means?
I'm not so I'm pretty sure.
Mesa has high standing, so I don't even have to talk to him about this.
But do you know what the goat means, stat?
Yes, greatest of all time.
The best of the best.
Stats throw them around.
So how are so many ghosts if only one person could be the goat?
No, that's, that's, I agree for once.
I agree with y'all on that.
I don't call anybody.
You know, it's the goat.
Everybody to go.
You know, go.
It's only to be one person if it's the greatest of all time or a team.
I don't get that.
Everybody's a goal.
Yeah.
Take a picture with me, go.
Take a picture with me, ghosts.
Yeah.
Oh, come on, man.
For one, I agree with you all.
I agree with y'all.
I say the goat in categories, though.
I don't call people the goat.
I'll say they're fire.
They're smooth.
I won't say they're the goat.
That's a sacred term that's just being thrown around.
And we had this conversation when people,
that was a conversation when people were saying Derek Henry could be the goat.
And then Mace was like, well, how is he the goat if he's still active?
I have to see it all said and done before I jumped to that conclusion.
It was a whole conversation.
Yeah, they put everybody in a green jacket, killer.
I mean, what is it?
The cream jacket, Paul?
Which one is it?
Yeah.
Yeah, they put everybody in the Hall of Fame jacket.
I just.
Yeah, you know,
was crazy.
I see,
shout out to Coach Prime
a couple years ago.
I seen him
a clip,
Dion Sanders,
Coach Brown,
and somebody was getting,
some people was
getting,
and tucked into
the only thing.
He said,
yo,
they don't have to
put enough floor
on this joint,
put us upstairs,
man.
He said,
they're letting anybody
in this thing,
man.
He said,
they got to put some people
upstairs,
man,
in the higher room,
because I don't know
who the hell
that's like in this
joint.
And then you got to stand there and shake everybody's hand as they walk up.
You like, man, that should be on a different floor.
Yeah, he said they got to put enough a floor on this joint, man.
He's valid for that.
Okay, which 3 and O team do you trust?
We will discuss after the break.
Four years and counting
Got you feeling like an option
Maybe I'm my own problem big
She's tired of hearing
I don't know
Much stubborn in me won't fall
Oh oh
dealing with this thing called trust
But she really thinking about
She want to be free
Welcome back
So before we get into these three in O teams
I know Cam brought up this clip with Michael Pennance
Let's check it out really quick
boys played their toes off and that helped everything open up in the back end as well
what did bijon robinson do tonight it's like he said it but like he was trying to be split
open up one open up the back end was wow that was wow that was wow that was wow you know i i'll
fuck with him for that pause because it was one sentence it wasn't a comma it wasn't a period it was a whole one
And sometimes people think about it like, oh shit, pause.
Now, he said that shit was smooth.
Hought them boys open up on the back end pause.
He was on point.
He literally held himself.
Shout out Tampa because I bet y'all didn't know Michael Pennix went to Tampa Bay Tech.
What's Tampa Bay Tech?
What's Tampa Bay Tech staff?
M-Bate Tech, it's a school in Tampa and Hillsborough County.
It's a high school.
Yeah.
You went there?
No.
Okay.
I was in Wesley Chapel.
Those who know, no, no.
But yeah, he was in real Tampa.
That's what I'll say.
He was in real Tampa.
Okay.
So the Raiders, 49ers, Bills, Chiefs, and Vikings are all three and O.
Mace, which team do you believe in the most?
Is this trick questions that you know what team I believe in the most?
Got two of them.
This is a valid question.
So you got the Chiefs.
Who else?
49ers, Bills, Raiders, Vikings.
I mean, two of my teams is at the top, man.
I trust who I trust.
I trust New York and I trust the chiefs, you know.
But I'm not sure if Josh Allen is hurt.
Did that ever come back?
Pause, did we ever figure out if he's...
Yeah, if he's 100%.
I mean, it wouldn't be, it wouldn't surprise me, Cam, the teams I'm picking.
They're 3 and 0.
What am I supposed to do?
I got an eye for talent.
Pause.
May, she left the whole Harlem world hanging, man.
You love them, man.
I don't talk about talent.
I got a half a talent.
You love everybody.
They wasn't talented enough.
They went on to do well, man.
Everybody went on to do well, man.
If you look at the rest,
A record of people, man, they are doing well, man.
Blinky Blink got his fitness.
Sugar J making members club, you know.
You know, listen.
Shout to Sugar Jay, man.
Yeah, shout out the sugar J, man.
The members, man.
The real members, man.
I made him a member, you know.
But then you got Loon, Loon went on to be a, you know, a Muslim and a devout one, you know.
I mean, the record is good, man.
and glow father on 29th,
I'm still
killer, man.
What I'm supposed to do, man.
I took them to the water, Cam.
I took them to the water, man.
I took him to the water, man.
I can't say, you did.
I just won and one.
You did.
You did.
I can't even fun on that.
You did.
So why did you leave them there?
Yeah, because success,
this is Stacey.
Stace, there's success.
You know, my job is just to introduce people to success and let them go as far as they want to go, you know?
That's what I'm good at.
I'm good at opening the door.
You know, I open the door.
Success.
This is Cameron.
Cameron, this is big time.
Big time, this is Cameron.
You know, what I'm supposed to do?
That is a valid answer.
That was a very good answer.
This is very valid.
This is valid.
And you know what?
I love that answer because people think you're supposed to take them forever.
Yeah, I don't stay around for Christmas.
I break up two weeks before Valentine's, man, you know?
Yeah, listen, man, I'm a legit, that's a legit answer, man.
I wish I had a comeback force for that answer, but you're 100% right.
What else you want me to do?
Tyree's voice, you know?
What else you want me to do, man?
Yeah, man.
I took you where you had to be.
What else you want me to do, man?
So that is a spectacular answer.
I think that's great.
Back to the original question,
we should just move on to the next question
because this is the obvious answer
of who you're going to trust the most is the chief,
so I don't really have much else to say.
What's the part two of the question?
Okay, part two, which I feel you could put up a strong case
for the bills too, but I get it.
who do you believe the least out of these teams?
I'm saying no, the whole thing is,
the whole thing is this before real quick,
you can say the bills,
but history doesn't show the bills.
So you're saying of who do you trust?
History says you trust the chiefs out of everybody.
You trust Andy Reed,
you trust Patrick Mahones,
you trust Travis Kelsey.
The bills have not been able to get over the hump.
The bills have not even made it to a Super Bowl.
So if you're going off who you trust,
trust means the history.
So going off the history
It's not even a hard question.
The bills, I'm not mad saying trust the bills.
You can trust them to get you to the AFC championship.
You can trust them to get you past the wild card.
But if we're talking about the big ticket,
you can't trust them more than the Chiefs or even equal to the Chiefs.
Yeah.
And Kirk Cousin, you know, I would put some respect on his name,
but you know where the road lead to, man.
You're in the AFC West.
That's not a good place to be come DC.
Simba, you know, with you anywhere.
Okay. Shout out to them. Shout out to
the Chiefs, but we'll see. And then who do you
trust? So you're asking? Okay.
Yeah, that's all about the ax.
Which is that? Who do you trust the least out of these teams? Raiders,
Bill's, Chief Vikings.
The Vikings and the Raiders,
the least. Can you choose one? Can I get one answer?
The Vikings. I'm going to go with the Vikings.
Valid. Okay. Can't. Who do you trust the lease?
I'm going to agree with Mason. Go with the Vikings,
the least. Justin.
Jefferson just got hurt.
We don't know the timeline for his return.
You know, it's a safety blanket for a new quarterback in that system.
So I'm going to go with the Vikings to Lisa.
I would have said the Raiders, but listen, I'm on the record, man.
I'm just a Kirk Cousin's fan, man.
I like the way he handles his business.
I like his attitude, even when he's not playing good.
He has good spirit.
And, you know, this was a big move on the Raiders part for, you know,
starting Kirk Cousins because, you know, they drafted the number one pig with Mendoza.
Instead of throwing them in the fire, they say, okay, let's learn.
Let them learn a little bit.
Let them sit behind a veteran quarterback.
And if need be, we'll bring him in midseason, considering how bad the Raiders was last season.
So because Justin Jefferson is hurt, I'm going to go with Minnesota.
But I'm rooting for Kirk Cousins.
I'm definitely room for Kurt Cousins.
He's been playing good.
And look, this goes to show, and I don't know how far this goes.
this can end this week.
But management and ownership counts big Tom Brady up there, man.
No Tom calling them shots, man.
Tom knows what it takes to win.
And, you know, that's a part of it as well.
So shout to Sean Brady.
Shout to Kirk Cousins.
I wish y'all luck.
But, you know, Mesa is having his moments this season.
The division is tough, man.
The division is tough, man.
Your moments.
Now it's moments.
That's what you set this up, Statt.
Okay.
You're the one brought this up, Statt.
Hearing it from somebody else does sound crazy.
Yeah.
Because when I first said it, it didn't sound like that.
Now I'm like, all right, I'm going to see what you mean.
I get it.
I get it.
Okay, last thing before we wrap, because we know it's NBA Media Week,
and we'll be discussing quotes, I'm sure, throughout the rest of the week
and into next week.
But one, we got this quote from LeBron.
So he said he originally actually wanted to join the Knicks,
but the idea went away after they went away after they
won a title and he quoted he said I had visions of playing a Madison Square Garden and finishing
my career in the garden one of the best places I've ever played I think is the number one arena
in the world as far as a basketball player that after they beat San Antonio I was like hey I can't do
it so Mace would you have wanted to see him on the Knicks this year you think it is better overall
for his legacy or you just think I want to put words into your mouth what are your thoughts
take alone. He wanted to play with the Knicks, but when they won the championship, he changed
his mind. Joining winners, I'm going to leave it alone. I'm going to leave it alone. I'm going to leave
it alone. This is Cam's God. This is Cam's God. Rich Paul, remember, I, right here. Go ahead, Cam.
Cam. Bill, you may not have a lot. Hey, yo, you want to go to opening night?
Go ahead.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
The Sixers play the Knicks over on ring ceremony.
You want to go?
Yeah, let's do it.
All right.
May I put in my request too?
Thanks.
That was already in New York.
I don't know what I could do, but if I can put on there without requests publicly,
I can bake you guys cookies, bring a cake.
You don't go, you don't invite us everywhere, and you everywhere.
Yeah.
Actually, no, that is, no.
You guys always have the, I mean, I'm like, yes.
Like, Mason Cam, I would love that.
Yes, the concert come.
You guys be chilling.
Like, I mean, hey.
Hey.
I ain't a lot turned down about 80, 98%.
A lot.
A lot.
Yeah, I do.
I appreciate the offer.
You know, I'm just fucking with you.
But, listen, man.
first of all, a couple
things real quick.
LeBron is correct.
It's like even though they didn't win that year,
and it's a different scenario.
LeBron knows that
even though I know my nigga don't give a fuck,
how much thing is trying to get on Kevin Durant
and go to the state,
you know, Katie, don't give a fuck.
But to me, what LeBron was this, right?
This is the angle.
I'm not pausing that.
Just reaching if somebody wants to put that in the comments.
If you don't win a title in 53 years, and you come one or two years and you win a title,
you make it look like I bring titles to cities that don't win titles,
not excluding Miami and the Lakers.
It was some crazy shit, 1960s, 67 last time, a professional team won in Cleveland,
Knicks don't win in 50-something years, and you get there and they win the title.
Now, I will say this, even if the Knicks' law,
in the championship, even if the Knicks lost in the Eastern Conference finals, it wouldn't
have been a good look. The Knicks would have had to go out in round one or at least round
two for it to make sense for LeBron. Because every year, the Knicks clobbed, they got bumped
in the first round. Cool. Next year, the second round, boom. They got bumped in the second round.
Next year, they make the Eastern Conference. Boom. Then the next year, they won a championship.
So they were taking steps towards a championship the last three, four years. So, for
For me, for my personal opinion, for LeBron, I made it make sense to go there.
They couldn't have been as close as they were to win the championship.
They would have been bumped in the first round.
Then it may have made sense.
And LeBron would have been like, yeah, I bought a championship to New York.
So I agree.
It didn't make sense after they won the championship.
But to me, it wouldn't even make sense if they got past the second round in the playoffs.
You know, maybe with the second round, you'd be like, yo, I can go save New York.
but they got a superhero over there, Jalen Brunson.
You know what I'm saying?
And you know what's really dope about LeBron to me is that when you look at a lot of these players,
look at Steph Curry, you look at Jalen Brunson.
You think about Shemp or Shant to my man Shemp, who doesn't even play anymore?
They got a light in LeBron James Camp.
People started noticing them at his camp when he was in the NBA.
So now to be facing the kid that was at your camp at the best player right?
now in the NBA or people who were
all-stars or was once
the best play in the NBA, it's a
testament to his longevity skill. Shout to
LeBron, but he's 100% correct.
It wouldn't have made sense.
And people would have been upset about it
100%. Like, nah, they already won.
But I don't even think him getting
to the Eastern Conference finals, the Knicks
that is, pardon me, would have
made sense. They were right there.
And if they were lost in the championship, they were right
there as well. I think the Knicks
got a good thing going on.
I think that they're going to miss Mitchell Robinson,
but they got a decent backup.
They got a good chance to go back and do some special again.
We'll see what these off-season trades and moves are really about.
And we'll go from there.
But I will say this.
I have to agree that Madison Square Garden is the best arena,
and not just for basketball, for entertainment, period, man.
I used to go there to watch wrestling.
Then I went there and watched ice game.
I went to the circus.
I remember Mace performing there, then I sold it out.
When you win me, Mace and LeBron, you're in good company, man.
You sell out the garden, it's something special, man.
That is super fire.
He's shaking his head.
No response?
That's good.
Okay, got my answer here.
Yeah, well, we can't wait to see, you know, hopefully if y'all go,
I'll be there October 20th, which I'll at the garden.
the date in my calendar.
I already know it was October 20.
Dad already got the date.
Rent down.
Let me see what I can do, man.
Make some calls, man.
But great discussion, y'all.
Can't wait to see what happens for NBA this year.
It should be interesting as well.
But that is all the time that we have for today.
Thank you all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
