Starting point is 00:00:49 along with your hosts, Cam and me. Stat, what up, man? What's up, man? What's up, killer? Silky smooth these days, huh? Silky smooth. Okay, I see we changing the wardrobe. You've been in the gym and the wardrobe
Starting point is 00:01:02 been real different since you've been in the gym. I told you last time now now what's gonna happen is this I'm not gonna ask you anymore I'm gonna start wearing what I wanna wear
Starting point is 00:01:11 oh no I'm dressed up I'm dressed okay I got silk shit too I thought we just doing the work I'm gonna get a suit no no no
Starting point is 00:01:22 you ain't got to I don't mind I don't mind do you feel better now no I'm going to get a suit. No, no, no. You ain't got to. I don't mind. I don't mind. Do you feel better now? No. I'm the last nigga who mind. Trust me. I'm going to start got motorcycle jackets and all type of crazy shit.
Starting point is 00:01:37 I'm the last nigga who minds what you wear. But I just thought we was doing it on our last day. But you know what? It's winter time. It's time to get fresh, fresh. So, bet. Bet. Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:01:52 Think of it in the gym, P90X. Shit, I ain't seen a suit since P90X been in the building. Matter of fact, hold on. We'll start the day like this, man. Okay. So, Clippers are struggling Clippers are 0-5 in the James Harden era when commenting on James Harden a Mavs reporter said you're not the beard you're not the system you're the problem what do you guys? I think he just pretty much just followed everything that I was saying. It's almost like he gave a diplomatic, no pun intended, but he gave a diplomatic view and verbiage of what I actually said.
Starting point is 00:02:38 He followed my script to the teeth. So shout out to him for following the script. When you're listening to the experts, you're going to sound smart. So I out to him for following the script. When you're listening to the experts, you're going to sound smart. So I thank him for doing that. System ain't systeming, man. The system is not systeming,
Starting point is 00:02:56 man. And that's just the plain facts. Look, the real question is this. For you, Tyloo, you going to risk your job for this lineup? Yeah, that's a good point. Or are you, is this two things? Are you going to risk your job?
Starting point is 00:03:13 And you're not going nowhere. Of course, I'm exaggerating. Or is this a point to prove? Is Jerry West still the GM for the Clippers? Did you find that out for me while I'm talking? But if it isn't Jerry West, whoever the GM for the Clippers, is this one of those situations, Izzy? Trent Redden.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Okay, Trent Redden. Jerry West got the fuck out of there. Is this one of those situations like, no, listen to Trent. This is what you wanted. Go listen to Trent. And now we'll just deal with what Trent did. Because Ty Lue is obviously not making the decisions. Ty Lue had a decent, the Clippers was looking decent.
Starting point is 00:03:55 They were looking decent until they added this component. Exactly. So this is one of them situations where Ty Lue's like, no, we're not going to take him out the starting line just yet. This is Trent's idea. And now, we're going to go with what Trent wanted to do
Starting point is 00:04:10 because when I told y'all, I'm not sure if this was going to work. Y'all wanted to run with Trent. So at the end of the day, this is more to me of a,
Starting point is 00:04:19 and I don't know none of this, this is all speculation. That Ty Lue was saying, this is what y'all wanted to do when we had a decent team the way it was. Now let's see if it really works. And we went through this already
Starting point is 00:04:33 on this show, but we went through James Harden's history. His history is O'Casey off the bench, superstar Houston, but who was in Houston? Let's start with Dwight Howard.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Then we go to Chris Paul. Then we could go to Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook. To anybody that I'm missing that I'm not naming. No, and then he want to leave. Yeah, that doesn't work out. No. He had a lot of...
Starting point is 00:05:03 Yeah, Eric Gordon was there for a substantial amount of time. You go to New York, that doesn't work out Eric Gordon No He had a lot of Yeah, Eric Gordon was there For a substantial amount of time You go to New York That doesn't work out for the year Then you go to Philly Back with Daryl Morey Yeah Get you another
Starting point is 00:05:15 I would like to know exactly This is the only guy That I really believed in Yeah, yeah Like, I would like to know exactly And I can't I don't know And I should have did some research, but I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:05:26 You know, when I saw that we was going to be talking about this today, I said, I don't need to do any research on this. This is in plain sight. It's nothing to do research about. I think he's trying to bring the process to L.A. Them niggas too old for a process. All them niggas in their 30s, there ain't no time for a process. This is ring or die, nigga. This is no time for a process. All them niggas in their 30s, there ain't no time for a process. This is ring of God, nigga.
Starting point is 00:05:46 This is no time for a process. And I've seen one announcer go off, and like you said, the announcer that you named, he went off. But he made
Starting point is 00:05:54 a spectacular point. You want to leave Philly and go to L.A. when you just was the assist leader. He didn't bring that up in the part. You was just the NBA assist leader,
Starting point is 00:06:06 and the person on your team just got league MVP in your first year and a half there. Give it a chance. I know you may not want to be processing because the thing about it, Murda, when you're just saying you're trying to bring the process, I think where the collision is at, the process and the system,
Starting point is 00:06:27 they don't go together. You're the process. I'm the system. This ain't going to work out. But that's a spectacular year. You know, Doc Rivers didn't stay there. He was there a little longer. They fired Doc.
Starting point is 00:06:41 But if you lead the league in the system, the nigga that you're passing it to gets MVP, that's a great dynamic to at least give it one more year and see what happens. That's my opinion on that. And then when you're this kind of system, I don't want to get it right, when you're
Starting point is 00:06:58 this kind of system, then everywhere you go, a coach got to figure out, if I bring this guy here, is my job in jeopardy? And then that begins to follow you. So I'm hoping James is considering this because people are not going to even want you on the team if this doesn't go well.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Oh, this start right here to the Clippers I'm talking about? Yes. Oh, no. Next stop is, are you willing to be the seventh man? Yeah. Portland. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Because, look, he was willing, from what I heard, willing to go back to Houston. But he's like, yeah, I'm going to go get more scoring titles. Whatever the exact name, he's on some scoring shit. And I don't know how to pronounce the coach's name, he's on some scoring shit and I don't know how to pronounce the coach's name
Starting point is 00:07:44 who was in Boston Neil Long X or separation whatever they got going on is it Inka Doka Doka
Starting point is 00:07:56 we gonna call the nigga Doke my nigga Doke was like nah man nah nah we ain't with all that scoring go crazy shit.
Starting point is 00:08:05 But you got to think about Inka Doak. I'm going to call him Doak because I don't want to say your shit wrong. You got to think about Doak, right? Doak did not leave Boston because of his basketball coaching. Yeah. He went to the championship last time he was coaching. Doak left because he cheated on me along with people's wives
Starting point is 00:08:27 or people who worked in the staff. You know, I'm not going to go back and remember, but we all know why he had to exit. It was not basketball related.
Starting point is 00:08:36 He did not lose his job because of anything basketball. So when you're fresh off a championship, which Doak was, and you got a nigga talking about, yeah, I'm going to come back there and run it up. Nah, stay where you at. And look at this.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Maxie had 50 points to overnight. Tyrese Maxie. They're winning. Yes, they're winning. And not only that, as much as, and look, it's still early in the season, but as much as we talked about, we talk about the Lakers, we talk about Denver,
Starting point is 00:09:10 we talk about what John Moran's going to do back when he gets to Memphis, how New Orleans is our sleeper, the Suns, the Houston Rockets are 6-3. And that's a terrific start prior to where they've been in the past without James Harden, that is. So we have to take that into accountability also
Starting point is 00:09:27 with Doka saying, I'm not here to play no games. I'm here to get my name back. You talking about you coming to run it up. Last time I checked, I was in the chip. You ain't been in one of those since OKC. So we'll see what Ty Lue does. And like I said before, and we talked about it on,
Starting point is 00:09:45 on Gilly and Wallow show, I believe, um, believe it was on a show. Matter of fact, they was here. I don't remember which show it was on, but we were talking about how James Hart and isn't ready to come off the
Starting point is 00:09:58 bench because he's quote unquote, the system. I think he needs to come on the bench because it would be a great strength for the Clippers to bring him off the bench. That's Manu Ginobili type shit. Russell Westbrook came off the bench already and it didn't work for the Lakers. And I'm not saying Russell Westbrook isn't a starter. Either one of them off the bench is great, but I just think James Harton would be better off the bench. Same thing with my opinion on Chris Paul coming off the bench. This is just my opinion.
Starting point is 00:10:28 I'm not saying it's going to go that way, but I think let's give it a shot if I'm Ty Lue. And then speaking of Chris Paul and the Warriors, on the Warriors, they're struggling a little bit because no one on that team other than Steph has scored more than 20 points this season, which is a crazy stat. So how do you feel about that?
Starting point is 00:10:47 Well, if they're going to get to the finals, they have to get somebody else to score. This is one of those situations where Chris Paul, I mean, not Chris Paul, Steph is taking a lot of shots. Steph takes high volume shots, but he make a lot of shots. lot of shots. Steph takes high volume shots, but he make a lot of shots. But then it's boiling down to somebody else got to at least score at least 22. I mean, you got to get over 20 in order for the scoring to be balanced because it's really like Steph is playing everybody else by itself. If nobody else is scoring, then what begins to happen is he got to hit trick shots. He got to do all of this stuff because nobody else is scoring.
Starting point is 00:11:28 Andrew Wiggins should be one of those players taking up, I mean, scoring. And also Klay Thompson. We started the season by saying that Klay Thompson was going to have to ball to show that he was worth the money. Now we're looking at this like, okay, Clay, you got to show up. Clay, we're big fans over here, but it's looking like, is this the end? When they got rid of Jordan Poole, regardless of what the situation was, they got rid of their youth and their future.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Yeah. And luckily, there wasn't no problem with Wiggins, so they got to keep Wiggins. But they just gave those guys the season before, after winning the championship. Wiggins and Jordan Poole, a substantial amount of money, to stay with Golden State. And they were going to build their future around those guys,
Starting point is 00:12:25 also Kaminga as well. When that situation happened, what they said, Golden State as a franchise is, we're going to go down with the ship that got us these four championships and took us to six championships. And that's what it is right now. It's basically saying, this is who we're going to die with regardless.
Starting point is 00:12:49 We got rid of the point guard when Steph would turn 42 or 43, whatever age he born and doesn't look like anytime soon. This is what we're going with because we're getting rid of that problem. My thing is this, me as a GM,
Starting point is 00:13:04 me as a coach, me as whoever, it's hard to get over getting rid of that problem. My thing is this, me as a GM, me as a coach, me as whoever, it's hard to get over getting punched in your face or getting snuffed or whatever. But that's why they gave him the money. You know what I'm saying? But me, if I'm sitting there and I'm Steve Kerr, if I'm the new GM and I'm saying,
Starting point is 00:13:21 what we got to do, yo? What do we have to do? Because me personally, I'm saying, this got to do yo what what what the what do we have to do because me personally I'm saying this one is a championship it isn't like it isn't like we're getting rid of a nigga who's just a random he was a big part of that championship a very big component of that youth to get older that's that's the real the real dramatic part of it all. You gave up something spectacular for something that you don't even really need. Yeah. Listen, I'm in total agreeance.
Starting point is 00:13:56 That was a poor choice. That's my point. That's what I was getting to. My point was saying that if I'm Steve Kerr, the GM, or even ownership has to get involved, what do we have to do to fix this Jordan Poole situation? Because we've won a championship with this. Breaking it up now is saying what that tells me is,
Starting point is 00:14:18 and I have no information on it, what that tells me is Draymond or Clay or Steph or whoever says, he goes, I go. That's just that. Stephen A. Smith said he did it with Max Kellerman on first take. It was a situation where Stephen A. Smith said he got to a point where working with
Starting point is 00:14:35 Max Kellerman was so annoying that he went upstairs and said we get that you love Max and this, that, and the third, but he goes, I go. And of course they had to make a choice, but that's love Max and this, that, and the third, but he goes, I go. And of course, they have to make a choice. But that's kind of where this situation- What do you mean by if he goes, I go? Max and Stephen A?
Starting point is 00:14:51 Yeah. Stephen A said that he got to a point where he didn't want to work with Max any longer, and the bosses were basically saying, hold out, hold out, hold out. He agreed to do two years or three. So he stay, I go. Right, I do two years or three. So at least stay, I go. Right, I may have said it wrong.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I'm pardon me. Basically, he was saying, if Max stays, I have to go. Or you can keep me and get rid of Max. And Stephen A proudly says this. Yeah, so somebody got to go. Somebody has to go, basically. So the moral of the story is this,
Starting point is 00:15:24 that I think that's where Golden State was at with that situation. Me, personally, I would have said, nobody's going. We would have to figure it out. And if we lose a couple more seasons, cool. But also, Draymond's contract was up that year. So they didn't want him to opt out and be like,
Starting point is 00:15:46 damn, we got to make this nigga Dre feel comfortable. Then it's games if you're a person who watches full games like Golden State games those years, because Klay came back during the middle of the season when Jordan Poole was cooking, and there have been times where Klay's like, yo, pass the ball, and Jordan Poole don't pass it.
Starting point is 00:16:01 And Klay... Stuffed in the tooth. Yeah pulled on Patrick's leg yeah Steph did it too yeah and he's trying to you know appease them because they won the chips I seen it
Starting point is 00:16:12 I watched four games so it ain't like I'm just I see all that all the hand gestures and motions so it was real uncomfortable
Starting point is 00:16:21 I would have did everything in my power to try and fix it obviously I'm not there. So it may have been an unfixable situation. But this is where we're looking at now. Nobody has more than 20 points. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:33 That's where we're at with it. And I don't know. Draymond's still probably not playing, right? No, Draymond's playing. Draymond's playing. Let me look. I got it right here. Draymond's game. Yeahaymond's playing. Let me look. I got it right here. Draymond,
Starting point is 00:16:45 Draymond's game. Yeah, he fouled in, man. I remember that. He played seven games. He's averaging 24. What is he averaging? 24 minutes a game, seven points.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Chris Paul, 27 minutes, eight points. Andrew Wiggins 26 minutes 11 points Klay Thompson Klay Thompson 31 minutes
Starting point is 00:17:10 16 points This is definitely Not going to cut it Yeah And this doesn't Get you the max Like This 16 doesn't
Starting point is 00:17:20 Get you the max Yeah I know I might be smiling But we're not joking Right Definitely a Sticky situation I don't even know What they can do To fix it But and get you the max. I know I might be smiling, but we're not joking. Right. Definitely a sticky situation. I don't even know what they can do to fix it,
Starting point is 00:17:28 but... I mean, well, right now, at least what's going on is the camaraderie that always been there. It's the glue of the team that's always been there
Starting point is 00:17:39 to where you got this outside of this doing well and they may think, look at Fancy Pants. He thinks he, they call it, that's the Splash Brothers, and he's the pool party. You know, you don't have that dynamic there.
Starting point is 00:17:54 So age catches up to you. It doesn't look like it's catching up to anybody. I mean, it doesn't look like it's catching up to Steph, and I haven't seen any signs. I'm not going to put that on Dre or Klay either. But got to put the ball in the basket and we'll see. Because we definitely had Golden State finishing top three. And right now, outside, I mean, I'm not sure if Mace did,
Starting point is 00:18:18 but outside of Denver, my picks and predictions are not going the way that I predicted. The Celtics beat the Knicks 114 to 98. The Celtics are now eight and two. Do you think the Celtics are one of the biggest threats right now? In a way, in a way, you could say that, but I just don't see any. Are you saying the East?
Starting point is 00:18:45 Yeah, the East. Okay, yeah, we could go with that. We could go with that. I think whoever in the East right now is just setting up to lose to the West. But, you know, right now that's how everybody's playing. If you look at this Celtics, like them beating the Knicks, I don't think you can really like take that game and let it push them or catapult them to another level
Starting point is 00:19:09 because the Knicks doesn't have a dominant big man. So I'm only judging the Celtics by how they play when they get against a team that has a solid, a real solid big man. And at this point, the games that they look exceptional in are normally teams that don't have a good big man. So that's an observation. Even when you look at Tatum getting 35 or Jalen Brown getting 22,
Starting point is 00:19:35 even those numbers change when somebody is in the middle that could change the shot or, you know, cause them to play a different way. What I'm really surprised about on this Celtic team is Porzingis. That's who I'm really surprised about. Not that I didn't know he could play, but I didn't think, like, menace to society. I ain't going to say it, but he falls. He came back strong.
Starting point is 00:20:02 What's part of it, man? We just watched menace to society. What part you talking about? I didn't think he was going to come back like this. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Blast. I think he came back blast.
Starting point is 00:20:13 He just said, damn. Yeah. Yeah, poor Zingers came back to let him know the unicorn is back. Excuse me.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Does this, is there, are they a threat? We picked them to be a threat. Yeah. The biggest shocker, and I hate to agree with Gilly, is that Philly's the biggest shocker to me because we were thinking that it was going to be Milwaukee and Boston and the Eastern Conference leader right now is actually Philly, even though that, let me look at it, Boston is 8- now is actually Philly even though that
Starting point is 00:20:45 let me look at it Boston is 8-2 but Philly is 8-1 and Philly just beat Boston a few days ago in a good game so when it comes to
Starting point is 00:20:57 Philly Boston Milwaukee Milwaukee is tied for first with Indiana we have to start keeping an eye on Indiana as well
Starting point is 00:21:04 so as far as Boston being a threat Milwaukee's tied for first with Indiana We have to start keeping an eye on Indiana as well Yeah So as far as Boston being a threat My biggest thing was If Porzingis stays healthy Yes, absolutely They could be a threat, yes But it's about him staying healthy I don't have it in front of me
Starting point is 00:21:22 I'm so mad I didn't bring my other phone But I had to stats How many games Porzingis played in the last four years, four seasons. It wasn't close to four seasons. So right now he's looking strong. You know, first 10 games you should be. And when you're around, a lot of times also, too, my personal opinion, not anything or facts or analytics that I know of anything like that.
Starting point is 00:21:46 I think people take a lot of games off when they know they're not going anywhere. So when you're in, when you're in Washington with the Wizards and you're sitting at
Starting point is 00:21:56 five and 22, my ankle hurt. Yeah. You're in Miami that night. Yeah, yeah. My knee, my knee is killing me When you are part of a team
Starting point is 00:22:07 That can potentially Win a championship Or a minimum Get to the Eastern Conference Finals Or get to the championship You want to play You know And listen
Starting point is 00:22:16 Like I said I'm not beating a fucking dead horse I seen Ben Simmons on the bench again Couple games Ben should have enough rest. Ben, Ben. Bro, hold on. Let me go, Dave.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Yeah. Babe. Ben, Ben. Ben, you should have had enough rest for like eight seasons by now. God damn, bro. Yeah. How much rest do a nigga need, my nigga?
Starting point is 00:22:47 Like, I'm at the point where. And he's still in his 20s. Yes, I'm at the point where. And no disrespect, the Mace disclaimer. That nigga crazy Really though Not even joking I'm starting to really believe
Starting point is 00:23:10 That the mental health shit ain't no fluke I think at this point I think my point is this I think he was doing weird shit And I'm all speculation And Rich Paul said Oh nigga you is crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:26 We fouling. Mental health issue. Because you don't even know that you a bug out. Yeah. We not even capping the night. Nigga, this, yo, this nigga's crazy, my nigga. It's no reason to be on the bench right now in the first 10 games of a season
Starting point is 00:23:42 that you haven't played previous seasons. Look, it's ridiculous. And whatever. I don't even know how we got the best of them. It was just a point for me making that saying, when you're part of a winning team, I think that you want to play more. And I think that's the case with Porzingis right now.
Starting point is 00:23:59 And hopefully he stays healthy and everybody that's important in these teams, because what happens is the NBA doesn't necessarily build up teams unless you're like Golden State or the Lakers or Boston, that's traditional teams. They make superstars. So now when you got all these superstars that you're looking forward to see that the NBA hyped up and then you can't see them,
Starting point is 00:24:21 it's disappointing. Yeah. And then back to your point on Philly real quick. Obviously, they're doing the best in the East, but also the Eagles, they both have an 8-1 record. So I know Philly's lit right now. So shout out to y'all. Moving along. Fuck out of here, Gilly.
Starting point is 00:24:36 I know you're going crazy. You know he's hyped. I don't be hyped. He's lit. Okay, Gil. Okay. We'll see when the playoffs come. I'm going to take that clip and play it back and send it to those. You heard who started it. Okay, Gil. Okay. We'll see when the playoffs come. And then you're going to take that clip and play it back and send it to us. You heard what you said, Tim. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Yeah. Get out of here. Wallow, don't even act like you. You're Philly today. You'll be with the Patriots tomorrow. And the Suns the day after. So, at least Gilly sticks with the team. You don't got to.
Starting point is 00:25:02 You're like Mace. You don't have time to stick around to Mace. You don't have time to stick around to be losing. You don't have time. The Raptors beat the Wizards 111 to 107. How do you feel about both teams?
Starting point is 00:25:15 Now, this is what we were talking about. Jordan Poole goes out there and I was looking at his numbers. I was just, I was surprised. I'm telling the truth.
Starting point is 00:25:34 I expected, I expect Jordan Poole to have that first year that James Harden had when he went to the Rockets. That's what I'm expecting. So Jordan Poole, you got to turn this around. I know you're in Chocolate City. I know you've met about 10 ice spices by now. We need you to get back to playing basketball. And, I mean, them losing to the Raptors is not surprising, especially Scotty Barnes is playing there.
Starting point is 00:25:58 So you got tough, tough guys on that team. And even though Kuzma played very well, I don't expect the Wizards to play well against tough players. That's just my summary. I don't watch two teams in last place. I don't know what happened. Title Town. I'm not going to go Title Town.
Starting point is 00:26:21 I'm just, they're both in last place. I wish I, I'm not as bad as Mace. I wish I would watch two teams in last place. When I seen that, I said, Statton Mace can have this. Y'all can enjoy. I don't know what the fuck happened. I watched it because I normally wouldn't watch it. So I figured, you know, they're going to say I wouldn't watch it.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Yeah, I'm looking back. Got the notes on it. Yeah, yeah. I mean, and thank you for doing I wouldn't watch it. Yeah, I'm looking at it. You got the notes on it. Yeah, I mean, and thank you for doing the due diligence on it. And Kuzma at 34, but it's one of those 34s. It doesn't matter. You guys are playing against the last place team. Yeah, I'm looking at the record. I knew before we got here, but when I seen it on the schedule for the day,
Starting point is 00:27:03 I said, I know I'm not bugging, but I think they're both in last place in their division. And when I looked, I said, Stat and Mace can have fun. Yeah, I stopped watching the Raptors after Van Fleet left. Yeah, well. Van Fleet ain't there. That's the only player I was watching. I stopped watching after Kawhi left
Starting point is 00:27:25 to be honest with you when DeMar DeRozan was there I watched Kawhi was there look and this will go back to what I just said also
Starting point is 00:27:34 and that's why I said certain teams we have to keep an eye on like Houston and Indiana as well because and I'm a victim
Starting point is 00:27:44 of this being brainwashed by the NBA for superstars. And these are teams with no superstars. And so you're like, okay, they don't have great records, but who are we going to see? Do I want to see Kuzma? Yeah. Do I want Jordan Poole?
Starting point is 00:27:58 You want to see Kuzma paint his hair? Yeah, yeah. Jordan Poole. Now, Jordan Poole, that was going crazy in the preseason I may have watched this but since the regular season started I'm like that ain't a nigga
Starting point is 00:28:10 who had 40 or something whatever I seen in the preseason and then I sit there and say Siakam nah nah nah
Starting point is 00:28:21 and NBA this is your fault for building up superstars and we're looking forward to seeing superstars. And when it's no superstars playing, cool. Let's check out the team record. The team record ain't no good. No superstars, last place.
Starting point is 00:28:39 Mason Stat. That's what that's a man for now. Don't put it on me, boss. No, I ain't putting it on you. I'm saying y'all got all the due diligence you did and have fun with the stats and say, yo, it's crazy, man.
Starting point is 00:28:57 You know, Kuzma 34, he's put a good effort in and stat, she'll always find some positive shit to say. Well, you know, due to the lackluster performance where we're not paying attention to is this. Jordan Poole had three steals. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:13 And not only that, with this one, it does put the Raptors over a thousand games in the franchise. Look, man, y'all can find all that shit, man. Niggas in last place, bro. I ain't watching. Look, man, y'all can find all that shit, man. Niggas in last place, bro. I ain't watching. Well, to be on cue,
Starting point is 00:29:30 I don't really have much to say, but... I knew it, bro. I knew it, bro. It was coming, yeah. The Raptors had a 23-point comeback over the Wizards, so shout out to them. You know I got to keep it positive, but there's not much else to add.
Starting point is 00:29:42 It's not very interesting right now. And I hope y'all pick it up so we have something to see. Okay. The Bucks beat the Bulls 118-109. Damian Lillard returned after missing two games with a right calf soreness. So my first question is, do you feel like the Bucks are performing as you expected? Although they did win, but like what's your overall analysis of them right now? Well, you know, I gave my expert opinion early when as soon as he got there,
Starting point is 00:30:14 probably like a week or so afterwards, I just can sense that the off-court stuff is just playing a toll on the game. We know that Damian Lillard is better than three for 17. We do know that. We know Damon Lillard is better than one for nine. And he's on the floor, so he's cleared the plate. So it's not he's injured. I could just think that his brain is not 100% focused and I look forward
Starting point is 00:30:46 to him coming back as Logo Dame at some point because right now that so much was done to bring him near
Starting point is 00:30:54 that he got to perform better than this. And we we love you, Dame. Paid in full everything. But they expect me to tell the truth,
Starting point is 00:31:03 Dame. So a man left his left calf can't be saw murdered. Now you got, god damn murder. Nigga going straight to his personal life. He can't have left calf soreness. Like that can't be a problem. He wouldn't have shot nine threes.
Starting point is 00:31:16 But maybe he feels like I need to get back out there. We haven't been doing what we've been. See, this is what happened with my nigga Joe Burrow. This is exactly what happened with Joe. And now there's smoking Joe. He's out here killing. I believe in, I'm a believer of Dame.
Starting point is 00:31:31 So I'm looking forward to him turning up in Milwaukee. I already got tickets for us to go as soon as he gets smoked, but I'm not there to see one for nine of them.
Starting point is 00:31:43 What's the family? Yeah, the Hines family. The Hines family for nine. What's the family? Yeah. The Hines. Mr. Bishop Hines. How you doing Bishop Hines and the family? Listen, when I get to Milwaukee, I can't wait to meet you guys.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Anybody that makes family is my family, but I don't know if the seats will be extended. You guys may have your own seats. After Dame sees this, I don't know what kind of seats that you guys have already. Dame loved me, bro. He know I got to tell the truth. That's what the people expect.
Starting point is 00:32:17 You ain't got time to please. Just like yesterday, you told me I was the quarterback and you was OJ. We're here for it. I dig it. I dig it. I dig it. I ain't feel no way about it.
Starting point is 00:32:33 No, you my man. If you wasn't, I wouldn't even put it out there. But I'm just trying to say in general, me and your relationship, you and Dame relationship. Well, listen, every day I go work out, Dame, I wear the sneakers.
Starting point is 00:32:50 I'm wearing your sneakers. That's how Cam be political. I'm using the Cam move. Listen, what I will say, what I will say is this, Milwaukee's definitely not looking like what we expected them to look like. When Dame got there, I thought this was just going to be straight dominance
Starting point is 00:33:12 through the East Coast. I thought they would be the team that would be 8-1 right now and everybody else be in the rearview mirror. So that's what I will say. They're tied for first in their division with Indiana. I wouldn't even think that they'd be tied at this point
Starting point is 00:33:27 but at the same time Dane's been injured Mace has his personal problems whatever the case is the best ability is availability and when he's not available I'm not sure
Starting point is 00:33:36 how this is going to go Giannis gets kicked out the game the other day comes back on a vengeance with 54 points they lose the game we need balance on that team.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Yes, even Middleton had 13. When you got Middleton scoring 13, and you have, who was that, Damon Lillard getting 12. You got Giannis getting 35. And then you got Portis getting 19. Giannis getting 35. And then you got Portis getting 19. That's just, you know how on a team, team wins better if certain players play well.
Starting point is 00:34:15 Even though Portis could have gotten 28, they still wouldn't win. They win when Damian Lillard is putting up big buckets and Middleton got to get going. But the thing about it makes they won. Huh? But they won. No, I know this. I'm saying the team will be playing better on those days that they're playing. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:34:35 My follow-up question is, the Pacers, Heat, and Bucks currently have the same record right now. Is that surprising to you? Yes, to me, absolutely. I definitely, we, before the season started, we gave our opinion
Starting point is 00:34:53 outside of stat how we feel about Miami. They'll make it and when they get there, we'll have a different discussion when playoff time comes if they make the playoffs because they get
Starting point is 00:35:03 blue-nosed pitbull type attitudes when they're in the playoffs. The Bucs, I just said it, everybody thought, not just them being tied with those teams, I thought nobody in the East, outside of Boston where Zinger's staying healthy would be challenging
Starting point is 00:35:22 the Bucs. Even my take on Joel Embiid is like, yo, okay, cool, I'm processing, processing, this, that, and the third. Maybe they did need to get rid of James Harden so Tyrese Maxey could elevate his play and Tobias Harris and those guys. Sometimes you may just need a great superstar and an all-star
Starting point is 00:35:50 because the way Tyrese Maxey is playing, he's going to the all-star game. So James Harden and Joel Embiid are two superstars. At least last year, they were perceived as superstars. Maybe it doesn't need to be two superstars. Maybe it's an all-star with a superstar, but we'll see moving forward. Yeah, that makes, and the team seems more balanced
Starting point is 00:36:13 without James Harden as well. It seems like you get more productivity from every single position, and that's going to always lead to a better team. Just my little two cents. Shout out to Heat. I don't know how we got here. And shout out to the rookie, Jamie Jacquez Jr.
Starting point is 00:36:29 He's been doing his thing. Tyler Hero is out right now, but somehow we're still at the top a little bit. So we'll see what happens. We is crazy. We. We. We. I just had to say that.
Starting point is 00:36:43 We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. We. wild, man. No matter what anybody says, I still stand strong.
Starting point is 00:36:55 And here we are. And even though I get disappointed. Here we are. Oh, my goodness. So, yes, we. Listen, man, to be honest with you, outside of Atlanta, the Heat should always win this division. Like, you're in
Starting point is 00:37:09 a division with Orlando Magic, the Charlotte Hornets, and the Washington Wizards. It should not even be a question that y'all win the division. Like, yo, we sit in and say, yeah, the Heat is killing. This is what's really supposed to be going on with those teams in the division.
Starting point is 00:37:28 It's just that they give such a lackluster performance through the regular season since LeBron left and D-Wade, obviously. But when they get to the playoffs, cool, but the team, it's the Atlanta Hawks, it's the Orlando Magic, it's the Charlotte Hornets and the Washington Wizards. You're doing what you're supposed to be doing, y'all. I'm not here to burst your bubble. He, he, yeah, we got it.
Starting point is 00:37:59 Listen, that's what you're supposed to be doing, man. In the Southeast. Yeah, so at the end of the day, you know, it looked really good for the Atlanta Hawks a couple years ago when they went to the playoffs and they had beat the Knicks in that first round. It makes sense. And they've been dwindling ever since to the point where there's rumors
Starting point is 00:38:20 what they're going to do with Ice Trey. They brought Murray in. They took him away from, well, they ran him out of San Antonio. We would love to get that. We can call Jingle, and we're going to get Murray, D. Murray on the show. Because I like to hear about his story,
Starting point is 00:38:33 how he exited San Antonio. It's a really interesting story. And we'll talk about that. But outside of that stat, yes, this is, no congratulations because you got Pat Riley over there. You got Jimmy Butler.
Starting point is 00:38:50 You got Tyler Hero. I don't even know that new nigga you just shouted out, but obviously you doing the due diligence on them niggas. So congratulations to the Heat, but this is where you're supposed to be at.
Starting point is 00:39:03 No, I have nothing else to add to that because you're right. But at the end of the day, I'm still hyped. I'm not mad at it. The only team in that division that should be playing better is Charlotte. Charlotte should be. I don't know. Remember the guy. Remember, he said Paul George was his goal.
Starting point is 00:39:22 Yeah, and that's why they're not playing better. You got the wrong thing he's looking for. Exactly. Look, bro. I don't know. It was all four of us in the room, Bob did.
Starting point is 00:39:38 We all chose BAM over AD. Yeah. Like, this is what they should be. We all four, like, convincingly said we would rather have Bam than AD murder.
Starting point is 00:39:51 They don't think they should be, they should be winning this, bro. They should. Yeah, come on. We all saw on the team today and we saying
Starting point is 00:39:59 we want Bam right now. Not young AD and not young, but them today. Yeah, they should be winning with young, but them today, yeah, they should be winning with Jimmy,
Starting point is 00:40:07 with Jimmy Buck. He said, you know, Hemi Butler, you call him. yeah, man, Tyler Harrow.
Starting point is 00:40:13 They should be winning. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Come on.
Starting point is 00:40:18 Well, let us know what you guys think about the Bucks, the Pacers, and the Heat. We're going to go to break and when we return, we will talk about... I'll do the Pacers though before we go. Yeah, the Pacers. The Pacers, and the Heat. We're going to go to break and when we return, we will talk about...
Starting point is 00:40:25 The Pacers, man. Yeah. Tobias and Bruce Brown, listen, man. We're keeping an eye on you and what's going on out there in Indiana, man. Shout out to everybody, all my people in Indianapolis. You know that Midwest thing. We're right
Starting point is 00:40:41 across the street, Ohio. Midwest, we're keeping an eye on that, man. I'm very shocked about that. And you guys are officially on the clock and under the microscope. But I know they were waiting for this moment
Starting point is 00:40:54 because everybody was counting them out. So they said they're back and they're here and they're proving it. So yes, shout out to them. Let us know what you think about the Pacers,
Starting point is 00:41:02 the Bucks, and the Heat. When we return, we will talk about Mike Malone's contract extension. Has this ever happened to you? Your girl seems to be mad, angry, upset, no, no. I'm just trying to give you a massage. Plus, have I told you how good your beard looks lately? It looks so good.
Starting point is 00:41:43 No. Plus, have I told you how good your beard looks lately? It looks so good. No. PHP. It works every time. Wait, where are you going? Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:41:58 So let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day. We're going to switch to football real quick. This Thursday, the Bengals will play the Ravens. Underdog fantasy has Joe Burrow at 259 and a half passing... Higher! Higher! Yards? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Got it. Joe Burrow, higher! Higher! What's going on? Higher, nigga! Joe Burrow, higher, nigga!
Starting point is 00:42:19 Higher! Hey, Mace. I'm an expert, so I'm definitely going to go higher. Okay. Joe Mixon is at 55 and a half Rushing yards
Starting point is 00:42:28 Do you have him Higher or lower Can't That's a great one I'm going to go I'm going to go higher Okay I'm going
Starting point is 00:42:38 False lower Okay And Lamar Jackson Is at 220 and a half Passing yards Mace Do you have him Higher or lower
Starting point is 00:42:44 Higher Lamar Jackson is at 220 and a half passing yards. Mace, do you have him higher or lower? Higher. Got to go higher. I'm going to go lower. I think that he'll have a lot of rushing yards. I think the secondary is going to be prepared for him. He's averaging not even 220. Probably about 213. I think that he'll be lower,
Starting point is 00:43:08 but I think he'll get a lot of yards on the ground. But this is another half of Billy, Billy Dollar game. This is another more niggas who got quarter billion dollars
Starting point is 00:43:16 and we'll see. We'll see who ends up on top. This is another quarter Billy game, man. And I agree with Cam. Because it's that kind of game, I think he's going to actually go high
Starting point is 00:43:28 because he's going to do what's necessary. He's going to have to win. Well, we will see. Make sure to download the Underdog Fantasy app and you can make your picks too.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Hey, Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone agreed to a contract extension, which will make him one of the league's highest paid coaches. Don't have word on the exact numbers yet,
Starting point is 00:43:45 but how do you feel about that? Highest paid coach? Mm-hmm. Ever? Um, one of the league, so currently.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Oh, yeah, then that's, it's rightfully so. He just won the championship, which you can't afford to pay him less. Can't make him, you know,
Starting point is 00:44:03 think about he need to be traded like Doc did. Remember, Doc got a little chip. Can't make him, you know, think about he need to be traded like Doc did. Remember Doc got a little chip. Doc said, listen, y'all ain't doing right. Trade me like a player. He got the same amount of chips as Doc. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Well, my opinion, I'm always rooting for New York niggas. Go get that money, nigga. Fuck you talking about a nigga from Queens. I respect Mike Malone as a New Yorkas. Go get that money, nigga. Yeah. Fuck you talking about a nigga from Queens. I respect Mike Malone as a New Yorker. Go get that fucking bag. He's from Astoria, Queens.
Starting point is 00:44:30 So I didn't even know that. Look at this nigga, nigga. Look at that nigga, nigga. Look at Nick. You didn't even know, Nick. Nick Tom Balsam. You knew Mike Malone? You knew Mike was from Astoria?
Starting point is 00:44:39 You know he did. First of all. What school he went to, Nick? First of all, first of all, let me, you can tell Stash, I'll do a third party. First of all. What school he went to, Nick? First of all, first of all, let me, you can tell Stats, y'all chill, do a third party. First of all, Nick,
Starting point is 00:44:49 Astoria's close. Oh, they coming out. Oh, you want to get in here? Okay. Oh, you can. First of all, Nick, Astoria's closer. What part of Queens you from?
Starting point is 00:44:58 What part of Queens you from, Stats? I'm Astoria. No, him. He said Astoria. Oh. Now you just happen to be from the same. He been hanging out with OJ. Yeah, now nigga.
Starting point is 00:45:10 Jet lag. Said everybody from Astoria is Greek. Then why he ain't know Yannis' brother name? Yeah. Yo, get out of here, Nick. We ain't going forward, Nick. Nick, Nick, Nick. That was a good one.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Yeah, yeah, Nick ain't no Giannis brother, Nick. Yeah, man. But he great. Nick talked about some story in the house. Yo, my nigga, you did not know Mike Malone was from it. So if you did, I shout out to Nick. And his pride is kept. His story is mad close to Harlem, though. Yeah. You know that, right? know Mike Malone was from so if you did I shout out to Nick and it's quite a story is mad
Starting point is 00:45:47 close to Harlem though you know that right Nick y'all right across the bridge you go right across the bridge
Starting point is 00:45:54 you're on 25th street that shit is like you closer to Harlem than getting to like Far Rockaway y'all niggas
Starting point is 00:46:02 is Little Harlem y'all right across the bridge so shout out to Mike Maloneall niggas is Little Harlem. Y'all right across the bridge. So shout out to Mike Malone. Shout out to Astoria, Little Harlem. Yeah, shout out to Mike. Yeah, Corona, Astoria,
Starting point is 00:46:13 that whole little section. You know, they consider themselves, especially Corona too. But listen, man, he put in his work. He's assistant coach with the Knicks. Got his first opportunity with Sacramento.
Starting point is 00:46:27 What helps is this, man. With any coach, and I don't care if you're Phil Jackson, I don't care if you're Pat Riley, I don't care if you're Greg Popovich. When you have dominant players on the team, you win. You win. You win with
Starting point is 00:46:41 Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. You win with Shaq and Kobe. You win with Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. You win with Shaq and Kobe. You win with Kevin Durant, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen. You win with Kobe and Gasol and my nigga who used to shoot the threes at Sunday and give a fuck what Mike Brown was talking about. You win with those type of players. You win when you have LeBron James,
Starting point is 00:47:09 Chris Boss, and Dwyane Wade. Right now, you have Jamal Murray and you have the Joker and not only that, you have Michael Porter, 6'10", who's really, really good. Michael Porter, a lot of people don't know, he was
Starting point is 00:47:23 a top. He's supposed to go number one probably when he's coming out of college. Yeah, he got hurt. He got hurt. And his draft stock went down and they lucked up. Denver lucked up and got him. And you kept this team together for a while. They've been together since minimum 2015, if I'm not mistaken. All of them.
Starting point is 00:47:42 So this is, Joe Ellenby, this is the process. This is the real process. This is what you call the process of sticking together. You can tell James Harden this is the system. This is the system. This is the process
Starting point is 00:47:57 that leads into the system. So big shout out to Mike Brown. I mean, pardon me, Mike Malone, congratulations, man. And listen, you know what I do like? You could tell because a lot of these coaches,
Starting point is 00:48:12 and not just coaches, players too, they have to keep a certain persona because they're professional and they carry self a certain way. And when you're in the NBA, you have to carry yourself a certain way. But when you win them trips and niggas get drunk,
Starting point is 00:48:26 you seen the real Mike Malone at that parade last year. That nigga was running in the street. He was drinking, shirt off, started talking different. He said,
Starting point is 00:48:35 where my nigga Brucey B at? I said, nigga, my man, how you been? At the end of the day, I like to see that for Mike. And congratulations, you deserve it.
Starting point is 00:48:44 And especially the way they're looking this year, I think that ownership took a look and said, oh, this thing looking like it's going away. We don't want to wait till the end of the year because at the end of the year, it's going to cost us more. Let's try and get this out the way now. Because if he wins two chips back to back. Oh, the price goes up.
Starting point is 00:49:04 And the thing about that situation is this. And I'm not naming names or anything like that. But if you do business with us now, this is what I recommend. Don't wait till it's over. Yeah. Don't wait till it's over. And don't give us a chance to opt out. I wouldn't recommend it.
Starting point is 00:49:24 No specific names. He read my mind. You know what you said? I'm just playing. I just said that to get you mad. I ain't mean it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Okay. On Sunday, the Timberwolves defeated The Warriors 1-16 to 1-10 Putting them at a 7-2 record Draymond Green And Anthony Edwards
Starting point is 00:49:51 Had a bit of an exchange On the hot mic And Anthony told Draymond Ain't nobody worried about you Bruh Hell nah So what do you think About the Timberwolves win
Starting point is 00:49:59 And Anthony Edwards Comments to Draymond Wait wait wait Before we get into Draymond and Ant-Man, did you hear what Jordan Poole said? I know we dealt with that before. What'd he say to who and when?
Starting point is 00:50:12 Jordan Poole basically was talking to the coach or somebody. He said, yo, whatever, nigga, this is my team. Like, they was trying to talk to him, and he went. No, I'm saying, no, I'm not being clear. What do you mean he's just saying my team?
Starting point is 00:50:27 What are you talking about? Like if they're trying to talk to him between a timeout, bring him in the huddle. Who he said to? To the coach or he said it to somebody
Starting point is 00:50:35 to a team? One of the dudes on the team. And he said what? Nigga, this is my team. Like I don't have to come in the huddle. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:50:43 I don't have to do none of that. Okay. Do what I want to do. That's why they're I want to do That's why they're in last place That's why they're in last place That's exactly why He's supposed to be over there Being a good Samaritan
Starting point is 00:50:53 A good example Of what it takes To win a championship And listen I'm not here to promote violence Or anything of the nature I know what you're about to say You probably do
Starting point is 00:51:04 I wouldn't know. Good weapon. Past tense. This is probably why. This is probably why what led to what happened before this kind of attitude. They get the left right and now turn around.
Starting point is 00:51:27 So yeah, I'm not saying a future weapon, but a past tense. It may have been partly to blame. Yeah. But back to Minnesota and the Warriors. Ant-Man is at the foul line. You know, before he goes to the foul line Draymond fouls him You know crazy
Starting point is 00:51:48 While he's going to get a layup or whatever Then And then as As they're talking They're at the foul line You know Draymond's telling him Shut up You can just imagine what Draymond
Starting point is 00:52:00 And we're paraphrasing So don't judge us on it You soft nigga What you gonna do about it All of that type of talk And we're paraphrasing, so don't judge us on it. But you soft, nigga. What you going to do about it? All of that type of talk. And Ant-Man just said, you know what? I'm going to take it out on the box score. And he just started going crazy.
Starting point is 00:52:16 And this is what happened when you get tough with niggas who can get major buckets. And then he told him, I ain't worrying about you. What's your thing about that? I seen it. I seen it. It wasn't Dylan Brooks and LeBron, but... No, I'm...
Starting point is 00:52:36 I'm really trying to find a point to disagree or even agree. You laid out exactly what's happened. There's nothing more to say. Yeah. What,
Starting point is 00:52:48 what, what anonymous player for the Timberwolves said was Draymond, they want to disclose his name. That's what I was trying to find. He said,
Starting point is 00:52:59 he's starting to give me old man vibes, man. Angry old man vibes. Talking about Draymond. That's what I was trying to find when this nigga said, man. Angry old man vibes. Talking about Dre Oswald, trying to find what this nigga said, that shit. I'm a follower of mine. Yeah, because when you're a young nigga, you think everybody old is mad with you.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Yeah, and not only that. Or hating on you. Right, and Dre Mars, one of them niggas, like, nigga, I'm not dying these grades, nigga. Whatever, you know, so it's getting more and more great. So now, nigga, like, 21 is like, yo, angry old man vibes is yo this nigga's wow
Starting point is 00:53:29 to Mace's point Draymond was doing what Draymond does Anthony Edwards some people may argue with me what I'm about to say some people may disagree with me what I'm about to say some people may disagree
Starting point is 00:53:46 to me he's an all-star and this far away from being a superstar some people may say he's a superstar now Cam that's why I said that
Starting point is 00:53:55 Cam you bugged he's a superstar yeah he is a superstar right you're one of the people um you're gonna have to do a little bit more for me
Starting point is 00:54:03 to be a superstar you know get to watch the Conference, get to the championship. On paper, he's a superstar. Endorsement deals, superstars. Max Contract says he's a superstar. Superstars, for me, is a place. In other words, Ant-Man, Killer is saying you got to start taking over series. You got enough firepower on your team to take over the series.
Starting point is 00:54:25 So when it gets to 2-2, 3-3, you got to make the difference, put the team on your back and say, we're going to that's what you're talking about. That's 100% correct. Secondly, when I say superstar,
Starting point is 00:54:42 I take a lot into being a superstar. You know, it's not just having a great game or a great, that's definitely one of the key elements, what you said. Secondly, do you know anybody who wears a pair of sneakers? Of Ant-Man? Yeah. I don't actually. What do you wear, Adidas?
Starting point is 00:55:02 You don't know. I don't know. But you know the superstar sneakers. Yeah, you're right. So any superstar, you would know who they're assigned to. So that has nothing to do with his play. That's crazy. That is true.
Starting point is 00:55:19 Because even though I don't wear Zions, I know they're by Jordan. Right. And I don't wear James Harden. I know it's with Adidas. Yeah. But that's what I'm trying to say. So... Who is he with? What's up? So that's my point.
Starting point is 00:55:35 And hey man, this is what we're saying. Make niggas put some respect on your name. And for all of y'all getting mad at me, listen, I can't tell you. You said he's a superstar already. So, hold on. Is he a superstar still? I'm just asking you.
Starting point is 00:55:52 He is a superstar. He's a superstar. We just need him to do the other part. Pause of being a superstar. And that's take over the game. So we can know your sneakers, you know. Dunk on somebody so we can look and say,
Starting point is 00:56:05 oh, those are the sneakers we got to be wearing. That's how we think about it. Or, if you're his agent or management, let's get them in the marketplace
Starting point is 00:56:13 to where people need to see them to be like, yo, I want to be doing, you know, I want to be wearing what Ant-Man is wearing.
Starting point is 00:56:21 You know, it was a thing where I recently see and there wasn't a lot of successful big man sneakers. Like, maybe Shaq and the Tim Duncans.
Starting point is 00:56:29 Everything else was kind of doofy. He's a guard. He's a two guard. This is Michael Joy's position. This is the sneaker you're supposed to know. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:56:37 You got to dunk. You got to dunk on somebody and then brush your sneakers off. I'm giving you marketing right now. You got to go crazy and just blame it on the sneakers. Yeah, and look, don't be afraid to go overboard.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Because I don't know what your sales is, and maybe we may be wrong, but I'm a sneaker nigga. I love that. Well, it's Adidas, but. What brand, though? Okay, nigga. Well, it's Adidas, but... What brand, though? Okay. Okay. Like, I'm giving you tips,
Starting point is 00:57:11 my nigga, because I'm a marketing genius. You next, because you... Two guys don't wear no Adidas, man. James Harden got Adidas. Damian Lillard with Adidas.
Starting point is 00:57:21 That's James Harden. That's one. What else? What else crazy two-guy had Adidas? And's James Harden. That's one. What else? What else crazy two-guy had Adidas? And he got out of there. Listen, Mace, you asked a question. Tracy McGrady.
Starting point is 00:57:32 No, I know the list. I'm just saying. That nigga don't wear Adidas. I agree. I'm going to mess the brand up right now. That nigga don't wear Adidas, killer. You asked me a question. No, I'm asking you this question. That nigga don't wear Adidas, killer. You asking me a question, Susan? No, I'm asking you this question. That nigga don't
Starting point is 00:57:47 wear Adidas. Who? If you that nigga, you wear... Oh, I'm saying that nigga. Yeah. LeBron ain't on Adidas. Jordan ain't on Adidas. LeBron ain't a two-guard. Yeah, you right. He was at one point. Kevin Durant wears Nikes.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Thing about it is, look, man, you just said you was working out in Damian Lillard's sneakers, Mace. Yeah, but not a two-guard. I'm not a two-guard. What point guard wear Adidas outside of Damian Lillard? Eric Rose. Yeah, true. Early used to win.
Starting point is 00:58:33 Listen, Adidas, I ain't got no smoke with Adidas. I don't got no smoke with Adidas. I'm cool with Adidas. I'm just saying, when you're that Supreme 2 guard, Supreme 2 guards wearing Adidas I mean can I give you a great example there was a few exceptions
Starting point is 00:58:50 T-Mac absolutely but Kobe got out of there I'm going to give you one of the best questions in the world I can't wait to hear this
Starting point is 00:58:58 I cannot wait I'm excited yeah and I know the answer and I'm looking forward To hearing your answer Who's your top three Two guards
Starting point is 00:59:10 My top three two guards Oh give me top four Top four Just off time It don't have to be in order Jordan Jordan A
Starting point is 00:59:24 D-Wade I mean Kobe is Jordan, A.R., D. Wade. I mean, Kobe is, Kobe is second. Isn't that an order? Yeah, that was my four.
Starting point is 00:59:33 Kobe, Jordan, A.R., D. Wade. So Jordan wore what? Nikes. And Kobe wore? Nikes.
Starting point is 00:59:42 And what else? Adidas. What about A.I.? Reeboks. What about Dwyane Wade? Converse. No, no. What?
Starting point is 00:59:54 Nike. No. What? We signed overseas to China. And Lin-Lin. Lin-Lin. Lin-Lin. Lin-Lin. Lin-Lin. Lin-Lin.
Starting point is 01:00:07 For his whole career, you've never had a pair of D-Ways in your life? I've never had a pair. Nobody ever? No, before that, D-Way was, I think, wearing some kind of like Jordan or like Nike. He was. Let's Google this. That's the D-Way I was, you know.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Okay, let's look it up because I don't know. I know that last car. The last car I checked was Ling Ling. Because I was looking at the billboard shit. It was an Asian.
Starting point is 01:00:34 I was driving to Miami. I said, oh, that bag crazy. Yeah, that bag crazy. So the point being is sometimes niggas is going for the bag and say,
Starting point is 01:00:44 you know what? We're going to make them fresh. You know, even look at it. Look, nobody. Like wearing lugs or Uggs. Look, Steph Curry's underarm. Yeah. Yeah, it's Steph Curry.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Steph Curry. But it's his brand. I'm for that. If you're going to be wearing a funny sneaker, it need to be your company. But see, what happens is this, Mace, is that in this own business, I can't remember off the top of my head, but the year that Steph Curry got signed to Under Armour, I believe it was something like a 7,000% increase in sales. Because Cam Newton had went there too. And they both was under arm. And this one, Cam was on fire.
Starting point is 01:01:29 So when you're hot, niggas will be like, go get me the under arms. You know what I'm saying? Like LaMelo Ball had his own sneakers. People was wearing those sneakers. Right. So the point being is when you're hot, sometimes you'll be like, I know tradition is Nike,
Starting point is 01:01:45 but nigga, it's time to make a way for myself. So I agree with you. I agree with you on that. I agree with you on that. And now, look, Nike is top of the food chain. I wear Adidas. I wear a bunch of different shit. I got these joints on here right here right now.
Starting point is 01:02:03 These just $800. I don't even know what it is. It's just fly. No, my son wears those. Me and him. Yeah. Golden Goose. You got a pair? Yeah. From the Nike era.
Starting point is 01:02:17 I don't wear them, but I got a pair. Yeah, but that's what I'm trying to tell you. I'm like, I wish a nigga would say something to me. I'll pull the price tag out on you young niggas. Would you spend a rack for those? I think it was with tax. Yeah. A little 1100.
Starting point is 01:02:31 Yeah. Yeah. But you knew. Yeah. My son took me in and his sneaker was all messed up. It was duffed up. Yeah. He's like, that was a huge sneaker.
Starting point is 01:02:40 Yeah. Yeah. But the point being is, I feel like I'm not a nigga. I got golden gooses on, nigga. I'm okay. So, and I do agree. And this, as well, people want to be signed to Nike,
Starting point is 01:02:52 but I ain't got no smoke with Adidas, Reeboks, Ling Lings. Ling Lings, Converse, Puma. Yeah, we like all the sneakers. You was about to tell us. We just didn't know it. Yeah, it was Converse, and it was Jordan,
Starting point is 01:03:02 and then Ling Lings. Then the Ling Lings. Okay, so y'all was right. Y'all was 100% right. He went Ling Ling last. But what I'll say is this back to Anthony Edwards. Ant-Man, listen.
Starting point is 01:03:13 It's your first year with the sneakers and shit, right? You're going to get fired. What I'm about to tell you. You're going to get fired. But this was going to get the sneak out out the sky. Next time you take off and you
Starting point is 01:03:27 do this, take your shoe off, kiss it, and throw it in the crowd. Run in the locker room and go get another pair. They're going to say you're outrageous. This is unethical. This is not what players are supposed to do
Starting point is 01:03:46 Sneaker sales tomorrow Out the roof Mark my words Take the sneaker Even if you put it back on Don't go to the nigga Take the shit off God

Starting point is 01:04:32 The nigga pumped his sneakers up. They had the... Reeboks had these pumps on the tongue of their sneaker. And before he did his dunk, he would pump up the sneaker on the show. It was a pump. And he did the blindfolded dunk. Y'all may see somebody else did it
Starting point is 01:04:45 but I said I gotta get the pumps and make me jump higher oh shit if you got the pump on your shoe that means it's gonna jump higher

Starting point is 01:05:10 Yeah, we want to see you do well. You know. And before we close out the show, on Sunday, the Lakers beat Portland 1-16 to 1-10 without LeBron James. Does this give you a bit more hope? No.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Why would that give you a bit more hope? No. Why would that give you more hope? You know what? I'm not going to be the old nigga. You know what? Shout out to the Lakers.
