I'm Treasure Wilson, a.k.a. Stat Baby, along with your hosts, Mace and Cam.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Mace, what up, man? Killer, what's good, man? Ain't shit, man. I heard they was assaulting you on the air today. What was going on on Instagram? First of all, I'm banned on my page from live.
Starting point is 00:01:06 I don't even know I get banned. I'm banned from live on my page till January 14th, which I have no reason why, but they tell you you made a...
Starting point is 00:01:17 I didn't know this shit got to this. You make an unnecessary comment or comment that they don't like. Then you're banned. So, I was banned... I got banned. So I was banned.
Starting point is 00:01:27 I got the dates. I was banned four times in the last month, but I didn't know I was banned. So I went to go live on my shit, and them niggas is like, yo, you banned till January 14th. I got 180 days to appeal it. I'm like, it's court? I don't even know where to go to court at.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Like, yo. So I went live on the Is What It Is page. I'm playing high five. I like high five. I hit niggas with a couple of, I can't wait another minute. I can't wait another minute for your love. I hit a spin.
Starting point is 00:02:00 They talk about pause. Pause. Yo, my nigga. There's too much tough Tonys out there. Yo, I'm not from the 90s, but I grew up in the 90s. Even the young people, younger than me, stat says it. We got the best R&B.
Starting point is 00:02:17 Now, let me tell you something. I'm going to tell you something. And Mace wasn't a part of it. But you hit a nigga with a spin? Mace, I went like this. Let me take my earpiece out so I can show this nigga. I see where you trying to go. I was doing one of these and I went like this.
Starting point is 00:02:34 You was with Brian McKnight. You was with a lot of niggas murdered. You was with 112. You was, don't do it. Don't, do not do it. Do not do it because you got your masters back. I'll pull the songs up. I'll pull you guys back.
Starting point is 00:02:50 You got your publisher back. I will go to every R&B joint. Brandy, Brian McKnight, 112. The list goes on and on. Do not see where you trying to go. Please leave it alone. Cause I see what you trying to do. Leave it alone. You are actually actually you actually have dancers right now and i heard the show is phenomenal with all your
Starting point is 00:03:12 dancers you got right now so tell me right now that when your dancers come on stage in australia melbourne perth wherever you at you don't hit a little bit of this with them while they doing it you don't when they can you don't coordinate with them a little bit on why they want yes or no. Leave it. Don't leave me alone, bro. If I want to sing high five, it's crazy. Now, I'm not going to accuse Murda of this, but he was around. Before we had a record deal or Mase had his deal, I had my deal.
Starting point is 00:03:41 We was in a group called Children of the Corn. Now, Mase wasn't there. Duke the God kind of romanced us from time to time. I used to sing R&B songs, you know, whether it was fucking Jodeci or fucking Cut Close or whoever was popping. Mase was Mase
Starting point is 00:03:58 Murder. I was Killer Cam. Bloodshed was Bloodshed. I hear little R&B niggas talking about Duke the God and Bloodshed. I used to be like, niggas talking about Duke the God and Bloodshed. I used to be like, Cam, listen to R&B. He Candy Cam now. They used to call me Candy Cam. Pause.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Because I liked R&B. This is when Onyx was out. This is when Throw Your Guns in the Air was out. All type of shit. Snoop Dogg. Bitches ain't shit, but hoes are tricks. I listen to a little bit of R&B. I'm Candy Cam. Now R&B is, now 90s R&B is
Starting point is 00:04:27 the shit and I can't do it. Never mind Murdaq. That's what happened, bro. We ain't gonna go too crazy about it. Who is your favorite group? Soul For Real? I like Soul For Real. I like Soul For Real. My favorite R&B group, that is a good question, Murdaq, because, you know,
Starting point is 00:04:43 a lot of people don't know. Mase knows how to write R&B really well. I do too, but not as good as Mase. I will say Mase writes better R&B than me. And there's no pause and no funny shit. Because to me, R&B is kind of a little easier than rap if you know how to sing, because you can hit a note for like four bars, Four to six bars. Maybe. You know, you can let it stretch out. My favorite R&B group, I may have to get back to you on that. Who's your favorite R&B group if you had to pick? Period.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Oh, man. I don't know. It depends on who you're inviting over for us, you know? Yeah, yeah. It depends on who you invite over. Yo, real quick know? Yeah, yeah. It depends on who you're inviting over. Yo, real quick, on your screen, we can see all your keyboards right now, all your keys on the screen.
Starting point is 00:05:34 Yeah, like we see the whole, yeah, yeah. Nick was supposed to, come on, Nick Saban. What's going on with you, huh? The nigga mad about Michigan. I see where he's going. Nick Saban mad about Michigan. Nick, you still mad about Michigan? That's a good question.
Starting point is 00:05:56 That's what's going on? I'm really sitting here thinking about who my favorite R&B group is. And you're right, Mase. It depends on who's coming over because you may play shit. See, you know, let me tell you something because we got to get started, but let me tell y'all something, man.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Y'all are high schoolers who are just indulging in your sex and college students and people in their mid, early 20s. Look, y'all are lucky as fuck. You know what I'm saying? And the reason I say that is because
Starting point is 00:06:25 if a bitch sucked your dick in the 90s, it had to be a secret. Now they better suck your dick or her friends going to be mad at her for not sucking your dick. You ain't sucked a nigga's dick. You crazy. Yo, listen, man.
Starting point is 00:06:40 This is part of how it goes now. Cam, what does this got to do with R&B? You know the reason I'm saying that? You just ruined the romance. No, you fucked it up, murder. You said it. See, that's what you like to do. You drag me into this shit,
Starting point is 00:06:55 and then I say my point of view, and then you try to blame me. I say, what R&B is, what group is your favorite R&B group? We know what you do. You do it subliminally, and you'd be smooth about it depending on who coming over tonight.
Starting point is 00:07:14 That's what you got from that. That's what I got from that. That's exactly what I got from that. That's exactly what I got from that. Because you got to know what to play to get what you need to get that night. So listen, all right, I'm going to move on.
Starting point is 00:07:31 But yeah, y'all niggas lucky. Y'all got apps. Y'all can say what y'all want. Y'all got emojis. You could just put a peach and an eggplant and that's all you need is two emojis to say what y'all need to say. You know what you have to do
Starting point is 00:07:44 to get a business like you're thinking not and be scared like you better not tell nobody better not come in my mouth. It was a whole shit like yo not saying business
Starting point is 00:07:53 wasn't doing that but it was just a whole like yo come on man be thankful for technology man y'all niggas is up. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Come on. No you're good. Eventually we got to get back to not that topic, because I think people would love to know you guys' favorite R&B group when y'all figure it out.
Starting point is 00:08:10 So we'll get back to that eventually. Okay, so we're starting the top of the show, kind of two parts concerning Pat McAfee. So recently, he name dropped
Starting point is 00:08:18 an ESPN executive for leaking false information about his show to media. He said, more specifically, I believe Norby Williamson is the guy who is attempting to sabotage our program. So how do you feel about the ESPN, Pat McAfee beef, and then him revealing that live on air?
Starting point is 00:08:37 I actually think this is a powerful thing to say to not be a hundred percent sure, This is a powerful thing to say to not be 100 percent sure because it can mess up so many relationships moving forward. So it's kind of when he say something like this, you almost got to be sure because you put in that person's name out there. And whenever you say somebody's name, you don't know how to. They're going to respond to this. I mean, for him to say this, I'm looking at the quote. They're going to respond to this. I mean, for him to say this, I'm looking at the quote. He said that they put the wrong numbers out there. And to say is an enemy in our own camp.
Starting point is 00:09:13 That's that's crazy. But he believes they got zero respect for him. So, you know, zero respect for me means zero respect for you. I guess that's how he's going about it. But I don't like this for Pat McAfee because his show is so cool and it's like one of the number one sports shows other than us. You know, so I really, that's probably
Starting point is 00:09:34 the only one I really watch. I'm trying to, I was looking this time. I had to say something about this. I can't find it at the moment. Hey, listen. What I take from this is a couple things. Pat McAfee is still getting great ratings from ESPN. See, I can't find it right now.
Starting point is 00:09:57 I'm going to find it before the show's over, even though if we move on to something else. And they talked about how many views he had, whether it was on ESPN streaming, audio, and everything else. And they talked about how many views he had, whether it was on ESPN streaming, audio and everything else. And they made it like, I think it was 300 million viewers or listeners, all combined, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:10:17 And ESPN actually posted that on their Twitter. The day after he blamed somebody for, you have it? Okay, cool. Yeah, so for a month of December, and ESPN PR posted it. on their Twitter. The day after he blamed somebody for... You have it? Okay, cool. Yeah, so for the month of December, ESPN PR posted it. His live daily audience is 886,000 average viewers.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Total reach is 1.7 million per show, up from 21% from the launch in September. Average minimum audience is 735,000, up 35% year over year. And the watch time is about an hour average. So 298 million total views for all content across all platforms. For the month of December? Yes. That's great numbers.
Starting point is 00:10:53 ESPN put that shit up. But they put it up the day after he was saying that somebody was trying to sabotage the show. So it's two things when I look at it. You get what I'm saying, Murda? So it's two things when I look at, you get what I'm saying, murder? So it's two things that I look at.
Starting point is 00:11:07 It's like this. Pat McAfee, I don't think he would lie or say anything like that. I think that he feels something is going on. Somebody's trying to sabotage the show
Starting point is 00:11:16 because there's also reports saying that his numbers are down on different platforms or different blogs saying that his numbers aren't doing what they're doing. So Pat McAfee is protecting himself. If shit don't go right,
Starting point is 00:11:30 what's that nigga name, Norb? Norby. Nigga Norby. He's saying he's a mole. Yeah, it's a mole in the company, exactly. If shit don't go right, it's that nigga Norb acting crazy. So when he says that, Norb like, how's nigga that?
Starting point is 00:11:47 Matter of fact, yo, who went social? Yo, post up what his numbers been doing. Then they put out how he had 298 million listeners and viewers for the month of December. I think, I don't think I have, like when those two different ends of the sword, so to speak, pause, I don't really know what to say. Because if you have almost 300 million viewers and everything is up according to ESPN, I don't see the problem. If somebody's trying to sabotage you in ESPN according to Pat McAfee, I get that. But it needs to be more context to what Pat Mccafee is saying when he says oh they norbin numbers trying to sabotage us what the fuck norbin i'm doing pat i like to know you know i'm saying
Starting point is 00:12:31 i'm like tell us exactly what are they doing because according to norbin the crew everything is up and you almost had for the month of december 300 million listeners or viewers across the board. And he put all the stats up according to ESPN. Now, those stats are correct. I don't think ESPN would lie. Maybe they would just to protect themselves. But I don't see they're too high of a platform or the worldwide leader of sports to make up numbers like that. Not saying that they won't.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Anybody may do whatever it takes to stay ahead of the game, but at least they're putting up the numbers. I would like to know from Pat McAfee exactly, what is ESPN and Norbin them niggas doing to sabotage you? Until then, I can't really have more than an opinion on that. All I can do is go with ESPN and them saying that the numbers are up. But there are blogs that I'm looking at now saying that the numbers have dropped 48%
Starting point is 00:13:31 from when he first started. Who's right? So there is someone in ESPN working probably against them. I mean, what you need to do, Pat McAfee, is think about who's on ESPN that will benefit from your numbers going down. That will probably help you with the Norb idea, because it's probably not just Norb by itself. Norb wouldn't do this on his own. Who would it benefit for your numbers to go down at ESPN?
Starting point is 00:14:07 And then that'll give you more people to look at. Because it might not just be Norb working by himself. I guarantee if Norb is doing this, he ain't working by himself. Well, Norb is, I don't know Norb, but that's a great point that you bring up, Mace, because you know why? Yeah. And maybe a few Samuel Jacksons from Django up there. You know what I'm saying? They may not like what that guy doing. He's getting too big for his bridges, boss.
Starting point is 00:14:31 You know, all that kind of talk. It may be a few Samuel Jacksons from the Django up there. What you have to realize is this. I'll give you a great example. It's this. And still to this day, Deontay Wilder voice, to this day, niggas can't curse on ESPN.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Pat McAfee came to ESPN at 12 o'clock in the afternoon, Eastern Standard Time, and could curse on his show. He could say everything outside of fuck and nigga on his show. He said shit.
Starting point is 00:15:02 And I remember the first show Aaron Rodgers got up there and he said, yo, this was the first day that Pat McAfee got on ESPN and Aaron Rodgers said,
Starting point is 00:15:11 yo, cause you know, Aaron Rodgers, for those that don't know, been on Pat McAfee's podcast for years. So Aaron Rodgers gets up there and he says,
Starting point is 00:15:19 anything change, anything we can't do. And Pat McAfee looks into the camera and Aaron Rodgers says, can't say fuck. And he still said the shit. You get what I'm saying? So,
Starting point is 00:15:29 you gotta realize, it's people up at ESPN that have been there for years who don't have the freedom of speech of somebody who hasn't been there for a half a year yet, has. I don't know if you tuned in yet, Murda, but I just found this out. Last week on Fridays,
Starting point is 00:15:47 they got Kevin Hart and the Plastic Cup boys. Shout out to Kevin Hart and his crew. So basically, and I don't know, you may have seen it, may not. I didn't know about it. That was the first time I seen it. I heard it been going on for a little minute. The Friday night games on ESPN, right?
Starting point is 00:16:05 They got Kevin Hart. They're showing the game. And then they got Kevin Hart and his boys on the side. Like, you know how you're in a box now for all three of us on the screen. They got us on the side. And they're, like, reacting like they're in the house or chilling, watching the game. You know, not necessarily, you know, calling play by play,
Starting point is 00:16:25 but kind of like the shit that we do. You know, I don't want to say that. Who is it? Kevin Hart and who else? His boys, his comedian team.
Starting point is 00:16:35 They're called the Plastic Cup Boys. Kevin Hart, Plastic Cup Boys. It's called NBA Unplugged. NBA Unplugged or ESPN. All this,
Starting point is 00:16:42 now mind you, all this new shit that's going on. All this, now mind you, all this new shit that's going on. All this new shit going on. Instead of, no disrespect, because Kevin Hart, my nigga, that's my boy.
Starting point is 00:16:52 I ain't talking about Kevin Hart. Instead of y'all niggas calling the sauce, y'all trying, you ain't going to get this. Y'all going to make fake Gucci bags. I get it. Yeah, if y'all want to go
Starting point is 00:17:03 to Canal Street. These are my fake Gucci bags. Yeah, if y'all want to go to Canal Street. These are my fake Gucci bags. Yeah, if y'all want to go to Canal Street and buy fake Louis and Gucci or 28th Street, get down to 28th Street. Go down to Canal Street. That's where all the fake shit in New York at stat, by the way, just in case you didn't know.
Starting point is 00:17:16 You knew? Yes, you know. Good, just be sure to not know. Don't go there. Don't let a nigga catch you down there trying to buy something. And I ain't talking about Kevin Hart and them niggas.
Starting point is 00:17:27 I'm just talking about, I see a bunch of that shit going on. Y'all niggas is making fake Gucci, fake Louis, fake Chanel. Y'all all on Canal Street. Y'all all on 28th Street. And you're trying to sneak out the store and go uptown or to the Bronx
Starting point is 00:17:41 or Brooklyn to Queens or back to wherever you from, Kentucky, Wyoming, Nebraska, with all that fake shit on. It's all good. But what I was going to say is that on that show, Mace, they are cursing on ESPN. They're saying shit.
Starting point is 00:17:56 I didn't hear them say fuck. But what I'm saying is this. You have people at ESPN who've been up there for years who, if they may say ass, get in trouble. Or they kicked their ass last night. Or those guys, man, I don't know. I don't even know other fucking words to use because I'm just going to talk freely. But you have people who have to watch what they say that's been way longer than these guys.
Starting point is 00:18:22 And now these guys just get to come off the street. And I'm not going to say Pat McAfee because he has a reputation. But I'm going to say Kevin Hart. When I say come off the street, I'm not going to say Kevin Hart hasn't been a celebrity all-star MVP. I'm not going to say he doesn't go to them games because he definitely goes to them games. I'm not going to say that he hasn't been on first take several times and he knows his sports. He actually does. But Kevin Hart does not work for free. that he hasn't been on first take several times and he knows his sports. He actually does.
Starting point is 00:18:47 But Kevin Hart does not work for free. I know that he works for a check. Absolutely. So you hire him to go up there and shoot the shit with his niggas and say what the fuck he want. And niggas at ESPN is like, can you believe this shit? I could have been did this shit.
Starting point is 00:19:01 Niggas tell me, watch my mouth. I'm sensing I can't say the wrong thing. I say a little bit. I may say something that's a little out of context. I got called up to the office and niggas told me to tone it down.
Starting point is 00:19:11 So you're right, Mason. Maybe other niggas coming to Norb and them niggas saying, yo, I think you're not a hit. Yeah. And definitely
Starting point is 00:19:22 when you think about it, what was that other That other platform that ESPN was putting people on That was too urban Anscape Anscape Why they didn't put them on Anscape
Starting point is 00:19:37 That's a great question You know what's crazy Anscape Reached out to me early, kind of like right before you had came on the show, Murder. And they wanted to do business with me. And I was like, at the time, I didn't even know who N-Skate was. I think their name was Undisputed or some shit
Starting point is 00:20:00 before they changed it to N-Skate. I don't fucking know. And they wanted me to be a part. I'm not going to say they fucking know. And they wanted me to be a part, or I'm not going to say they, one of their representatives wanted me to be a part of what they were doing. And I was like, are y'all going to give me percentage in the company?
Starting point is 00:20:14 It's like, we could talk about it. I'm like, it's nothing else to talk about because if my show carries your network and then you sell your network for seven, 800, 900 million and I'm the one who helps carry your network, and I can't get a percentage of that, then what the fuck am I doing it for?
Starting point is 00:20:31 You know what I'm saying? Like, what am I doing it for? And that's just where I'm at with certain shit. Now, you can't get higher than ESPN and be like, yo, I want 2% of ESPN. But you're damn right, Airscape. If niggas is up there, I'm not there for no motherfucking check, nigga.
Starting point is 00:20:49 I want percentage of the company. I don't even know, you know? That's a fact, nigga. I was like, yo, we not going to carry. Now, when murder came along, I was already asking for a decent amount. Once murder came along, the number went up,
Starting point is 00:21:04 and I didn't even bring it back to you because they was like, well, we're all black. Yeah, but we all pay with green. I can't take we all black to the bank. Yeah, we don't talk black. We talk green. Yeah, and you know what
Starting point is 00:21:16 another thing is? We can't say, yo, we're all black when the rents due. Yo, you know we all black, right? Nah, I can't pay my bills when we all black. You know what I'm saying? You're going to pay your bills with the
Starting point is 00:21:27 check you get. And I like to keep it black. Don't get me wrong. If I could keep it black, brown, Latino, sure. Because we was there when we got here. But at the end of the day, don't hold a black card out to make me get less money and
Starting point is 00:21:43 you get more money. That's how the airscape. I don't know what the fuck going on make me get less money and you get more money. That's how the ass came. I don't know what the fuck going on over there now, but I'm just saying in general. I know, because that's what ESPN do. And a lot of these niggas
Starting point is 00:21:55 are like, yo, we need to be more black. Make some black shit up. We'll do right. Yeah. Get a gold tooth get grills get some wrinkle curls and a spray paint jacket.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Yo, listen. Like I said, I'm not knocking anything black. Because look, they gave whoever, I don't know who was up there, opportunity to start some black shit. But to me, I take that as... I take that as, okay, cool. We ESPN and we keep it urban
Starting point is 00:22:47 But not that urban Y'all niggas make it urban urban Alright We can't be too too urban Hey yo and listen Airskate No disrespect I don't know what y'all doing now
Starting point is 00:23:01 But you know what I told y'all niggas This time last year? 72 times that right now if y'all ever holla back. It is what it is. Okay. You guys made all good points because I think we see
Starting point is 00:23:18 a lot of stuff changing, especially in 2024. And I think you guys are going to start to pick up and see how networks are trying to change things to make them more urban so because I get tagged in a lot of stuff but
Starting point is 00:23:28 it's like now it's becoming reality and as far as Pat McAfee calling out Norby I know last season we talked about Wendell I think Norby takes the cake so shout out for Pat McAfee for standing his ground and sticking up for himself even though the numbers are still good if he feels like he's being sabotaged I feel like he has the
Starting point is 00:23:43 right to say that and call it out now rather than things happen later back to you guys' point yo hold on man hold on you know what I'm saying you piss me off sometimes I hate it man
Starting point is 00:23:54 how you're too professional you are you are that's the very professional shit that say niggas is biting and swagger jacking our shit. That was a very nice way
Starting point is 00:24:08 of saying that shit. She will never just say, niggas on our dick out here, man. Pause. She won't just, she won't say it. That's what, I see a lot of people
Starting point is 00:24:18 that are doing this way and I think you guys will see more of it. Stat niggas just say what's going on. Say it. Niggas just say what's going on. Say it. Niggas are stealing our shit. Sam is the translator. We cool because you can't
Starting point is 00:24:32 do what we do. You ain't going to get up here and spit these bars. You ain't going to get up here and tell niggas what they don't want to hear. You ain't going to sit up here and bring the guess what you want to tell them whether they want to hear what they don't like to hear. You're not going to, listen, got to do replicas.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Go ahead. Go ahead, my nigga. You know what happens with records? I seen the same thing happen to Kane. Three cuts in the eyebrows. Yeah, three cuts in the eyebrows,
Starting point is 00:24:58 nigga. Listen, I dig it, man. I dig it, man. So, I was just translating.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Translation. Y'all think the stat says something that we didn't. I dig it, man. So I was just translating. Translation. In case y'all think that Stat said something that we didn't. She said the same thing in journalism, what they called a black African queen. Yeah. That's what she said. Just for our listeners. Yeah, Cam is absolutely right.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Because the way I say some people are like, Scott, do you agree or do you not agree? I'm like, I agree. I just say it in my way. But yeah. You got to realize that's why I'm bringing you here. Because we fuck with some ignorant niggas. So we got to sometimes, we got to let them know what you say.
Starting point is 00:25:42 Not saying we don't fuck with the highest of highest intelligent niggas, but you got to realize we came from a place where some people are still at that where we met them at and they ain't going nowhere. Yeah. And we love them. And that's why we, that's what we do it for. Got it.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Okay. Also on the topic of Pat Matthew, Matt McAfee, cause this was said on his show, Jimmy Kimmel threatened Aaron Rogers with potential legal action after Aaron this was said on his show, Jimmy Kimmel threatened Aaron Rodgers with potential legal action after Aaron Rodgers said live on his show that he should be worried
Starting point is 00:26:11 about seeing his name on the Epstein list. ESPN has since apologized, but Aaron Rodgers doubled down on his comments and said, I'm not stupid enough to accuse you of that with absolutely zero concrete evidence. So how do you feel about the situation and the aaron rogers and jimmy kimmel beef so this is yeah this is crazy because
Starting point is 00:26:38 jimmy kimmel should know if his name is on the list i don't know if his name is on the list. I don't know if his name is on the list. I know my name is not on the list. I know Killer's name is not on the list. No damn well my name ain't on that list. Yeah. Oh man. I ducked the list because I left rap so I know my name ain't on the list.
Starting point is 00:27:05 It ain't just rappers. I know you ain't on the list because I left rap, so I know my name ain't on the list. It ain't just rappers. I know you ain't on the list. It's all type of niggas on that list. It's all type of niggas on that list. So Jimmy Kimmel, it would not be good if his name was on the list, especially when you joke about other people. Yeah. If your name pop up on that list, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Yeah. But I'm going to let Killer go ahead, and then I'm going to come back, pause afterwards. I don't know. I don't really got a lot to say about it because, you know, you said exactly what I was going to say. I don't pay that shit a lot of mind, to be honest with you, the whole Epstein situation, to be honest with you, the whole Epstein situation, because it's,
Starting point is 00:27:47 just like I said, we said it, I said it on previous episodes, until it's like actual factual shit with actual factual facts with shit like that, I don't like to accuse people of shit like that because once you go in that dark room
Starting point is 00:28:01 with me, pause. I'm not talking about like that. I'm talking about once you're accused of that and I find out it's true, I don't fuck go in that dark room with me? Pause. I'm not talking about like that. I'm talking about once you're accused of that and I find out it's true, I don't fuck with you ever again. And I don't ever want to put anybody in that place until I have actual facts.
Starting point is 00:28:13 So to be honest with you, until it's 100% factual, I don't really pay a lot of attention to it because look, Aaron Rodgers said it. Jimmy Kimmel wants to file a lawsuit. Aaron Rodgers then comes back and said, I wouldn't be dumb enough to do that without having any proof. So, look, we're talking about some shit without having facts on either side.
Starting point is 00:28:33 So, I was like, I don't really pay it a lot of mind. What I will say is this. Aaron Rodgers is very outspoken. He talks about aliens. He talks about the Epstein list. Aaron Rodgers actually lied and said he got the fucking vaccine shot So he could play in the NFL A couple years ago
Starting point is 00:28:49 They found out the nigga was lying He said yeah y'all caught me Aaron Rodgers is type niggerish a little bit He do a lot of nigger shit So I respect the nigger It sounded like It sounded like Aaron Rodgers is Duke the God Yeah yeah exactly
Starting point is 00:29:04 Aaron Rodgers definitely got Duke the God. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Aaron Rodgers definitely got Duke the God vibes. You know, aliens, Epstein-less. Yo, listen, man. You know, a lot of niggas, a lot of niggas, and that's not niggas, a lot of analysts and coaches and other commentators on other sports shows was really, really mad at Aaron Rodgers
Starting point is 00:29:27 for lying about getting the vaccine. And the funniest shit to me about Aaron Rodgers is he didn't even try to fight. He said, all right, y'all caught me. Fuck all that.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Shit is wild. Y'all asking me to get the shot. And then, even like with Kyrie Irving, you know, a lot of people gave him a flack or whatever. Oh, Kyrie's letting his team down. He's not taking the vaccine. Niggas want niggas to shoot shit in their body, pause that. We don't know what the side effects may be long-term. Then look, you
Starting point is 00:29:58 wait a year, you wait a year and a half, you wait 18 months. You know, in New York, it was a big deal. Then what happens? Oh, we were wrong. It doesn't work all the way. You got people losing their jobs behind that shit. You got people losing annual salary to pay their bills. A lot of New Yorkers
Starting point is 00:30:15 were getting refunded for the time they missed because people were wrong about the vaccine. You get the vaccine and then you still catch COVID and now niggas is like, yo, what's up? I thought I wasn't supposed to catch
Starting point is 00:30:28 COVID. Oh, you know what? We was bugging. You know when I knew it was something up with the vaccine murder and I know this isn't the topic, but we end up falling in here. When the mayor in New York was saying that you get free beer and he's like, yo, y'all go to the bar tonight. We're going to get y'all niggas some
Starting point is 00:30:43 free beer. Yeah, Nick, you know you was shit. Yeah, it was french fries and burgers, Nick. Nick was in Queens. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to tell you. When the mayor was like, yo, McDonald's got y'all. Y'all niggas get the vaccine, y'all. I'm telling y'all niggas go get a number
Starting point is 00:30:59 one on us. Just show your card, this, that, and the third. Y'all niggas is lit. Then it went from big burgers and fries to beers. And I'm like, yo, hold the fuck on. Why are they trying to... Then I took it as y'all trying to get black people to get it because the shit that they offering...
Starting point is 00:31:17 And I won't say black. I won't even put it black. I'll put it financially not secure. So where you like, where are the number one for free do sound good? You know when I knew it was crazy?
Starting point is 00:31:32 What's that? I knew it was crazy when they made a Johnson & Johnson one. That's when I knew it was going crazy. The baby powder niggas? I tell you. Yeah, them dope niggas. Which one you got.
Starting point is 00:31:43 Yeah, yeah, exactly. And that's a great point, Mase, because now you got niggas fighting amongst each other to where niggas was like, yo, I caught COVID again. Oh, because you got the Johnson & Johnson where you got to get the Moderna.
Starting point is 00:31:58 That's what you tripped out with. It basically was... You got the cheap one. Yeah, you got the cheap one. That's what they were saying when I heard you got the cheap one. Yeah, you got the cheap one. That's what they were saying when I heard it. You got the cheap one. Yeah, you wasn't supposed to get that one, man.
Starting point is 00:32:09 You wasn't supposed to get that one. Yeah, but Aaron Rodgers just seems like to buck the system a lot. And to be honest with you, when you're that good of a player, even though he's getting a little older, sometimes you may get the cachet to say what you want to say because it won't be penalized as somebody else who may get penalized behind it. Like Aaron Rodgers double down stat was saying and said, nigga, shut up. I ain't even fucking say it that serious.
Starting point is 00:32:37 You bugging the fuck out. Let Geno Smith try that shit. Geno Smith would have been reprimanded. Talk to may have been. We talked and we're going to suspend him two or three games. He ain't Aaron Rodgers. When you got the cachet. He learned his lesson.
Starting point is 00:32:54 I'm sorry y'all learned my lesson. I shouldn't have said it. Aaron Rodgers said fuck y'all niggas. I said y'all niggas took it the wrong way. So that's how I look at it. I didn't really dive too much into the topic of Aaron Rodgers and Jimmy Kimball, but I look at it I didn't really dive too much Into the topic Of Aaron Rodgers And Jimmy Kimmel But I just took it
Starting point is 00:33:07 As Aaron Rodgers Is like you said A great example Y'all don't really know Our friend Duke the God But he's one of them niggas That's like very eclectic He believes in what
Starting point is 00:33:17 He want to believe in Everything is fake We're living in a bubble He believes we're living In a bubble Yeah he tells niggas That the Truman Show Living in a bubble Shit He believes we're living in a bubble. Yeah, he tells niggas that the Truman Show, living in a bubble shit is real.
Starting point is 00:33:27 The earth is flat. A lot of shit, Duke says. The list goes on and on. We've been sitting here trying to figure out how to get Duke his own show without us getting arrested. He said the Kool-Aid clan wasn't real. Yeah, he said the Kool-Aid. He said the KKK wasn't real. He said there was no such thing as the KKK. He said there's no Klux Klan wasn't real. Yeah, he said the Klu Klux Klan He said the KKK wasn't real.
Starting point is 00:33:46 He said there was no such thing as the KKK. He said there's no such thing as Black Panthers. The government put them against each other. This shit is crazy, man. This Duke shit is wild. And that's why every time we bring him up on the show once in a while because sometimes he's out here visiting
Starting point is 00:34:01 us, you think Mase disclaimer for what he got to say is crazy. We have to put a physical disclaimer that the words of Duke to God have no justice or anything to do with this show or what Mase and Cam say whatsoever. Those are purely his thoughts. And Aaron Rodgers give me his vibes.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Me and him have gotten in a couple of debates and you can't tell him anything else. He's like, no, you're wrong and this is why. It just goes in a circle. I'm like, never mind. Yo, listen, let me tell you something.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Duke, and you know one thing about Duke, see, my problem with Duke is that we ain't going to get into a long thing about Duke. Duke goes home
Starting point is 00:34:36 and studies all this stuff and he says, you can't go on YouTube or Google because that's commercial. You got to go on the back blocks of the internet
Starting point is 00:34:44 and the dark roads. And I'm like, where are these dark roads of the internet, commercial. You got to go on the back blocks of the internet and the dark roads. And I'm like, where are these dark roads of the internet, bro? You got to go on the back blocks of the internet to get all this. I'm like, where are you going? The back blocks. And, and when I knew Duke was serious is that he, he watches all this stuff all day. And then he listens to it at night when he, before he goes to sleep.
Starting point is 00:35:04 But before he goes to sleep but before he goes to sleep he puts his glasses on and goes to sleep and i say you've been looking at the computer screen all day without your glasses well i put your glasses on to go to sleep and listen and he says i don't understand his frequency and that's just the type of nigga he is aaron rogers may be one of them niggas yeah my comments My comments about Aaron Rodgers real quick. The only thing, like, I feel like people can believe whatever they want to believe. And that's just what you think. But my only thing about Aaron Rodgers on Pat McAfee's show is, like, now people are saying that Aaron Rodgers is messing up his credibility and making it a disaster.
Starting point is 00:35:42 So I just feel like Aaron Rodgers maybe should have his own show to talk about his own things because I mean, you can talk about whatever you want to talk about, but now they're associating the two. And just because Aaron Rodgers says something that might not mean that Pat McAfee necessarily agrees, but the two are together on the platform. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:36:01 I think they should try some different things, but I mean, we'll see what happens. Aaron Rodgers is definitely not going anywhere. Aaron Rogers, fine. Duke to God. Y'all would kill it.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Yeah. Just to talk about their different theories and stuff, but okay. Moving along. Draymond Green said he considered retiring, but Adam Silver talked him out of it during his suspension. He told Adam, this is too much for me.
Starting point is 00:36:22 It's all becoming too much for me and I'm going to retire. Adam Silver told him, you're making a very rash decision and I won't let you do that. So thoughts and do you think Draymond actually would have retired? How are you going to tell a nigga he can't retire? That's crazy. Yo, that's crazy. How you going to tell somebody, yo, I feel, they say, yo, this is way, pause, too much for me mentally, everything. And then you just override it and pause and say, nah, you not quit. Yo, let me ask you something, Mace. This is a great question for you.
Starting point is 00:37:03 When you went quadruple platinum and you said, you know what, I'm retiring, who said that to you? Yeah, actually, Funkmaster Flex said that to me. He said, you're not retiring, Mace. You're not retiring. I knew somebody. I called up to the radio. I said, yo, Flex, I want to go on the air, Flex. And I said, I quit.
Starting point is 00:37:27 He said, what? Who is this? I said, yo, it's Maze. He was like, nah, I can't let you do that. I can't let you do that. I can't even let you put that out there. I called him back. I said, yo, Flex, I'm serious, Flex.
Starting point is 00:37:43 I don't want to do this no more. Flex goes, if you call back again, I might let you do it. But I ain't letting you do that. That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. Yeah, I knew something. But now, Marjorie, you retired at 22 years old. That was some wild shit. You know, I get done with niggas far as fast.
Starting point is 00:38:06 I'm out of here, man. He was a 22, 23-year-old retiree. So I think it was like, yo, that's why we was talking about when your wife said, yo, you got the like. Mase got the like when he do it because he will get the fuck out of here. But Draymond, that's a great point. Like, you know, and I've seen a soundbite of what Draymond said, but Adam Silver, man, he is not David Stern.
Starting point is 00:38:31 And like I said, Draymond said it, and I said it months ago when we was talking about when John Morant was coming back, that he is a player's commissioner. You know, I think he believes in giving people, athletes fair shots. Even with John Morant's situation, John Morant wasn't suspended initially. It was after he had a talk with John Morant.
Starting point is 00:38:57 John Morant said, yo, listen, man, I'm good. We straight, Adam Silver said, I talked to him. He good. He aight. Then John Morant's friend went live and that's what fucked it up. Adam Silver was like, yo, come on. I believe Adam Silver went back to him, and listen, these are the things that don't get reported. Adam Silver
Starting point is 00:39:12 might be like, yo, if it was up to me, but you got me looking crazy, nigga, come on. Yo, Killer, but what did he mean when he said he's not good or he wants to move on? What was he talking about? Because if he's not good or he wants to move on what was he talking about because if he's going through
Starting point is 00:39:27 something mentally what if he just bug out you talking about on the court about Draymond Green yeah well you know what he's going to mean by what he's going to is this if you were tired you could figure out how much you make when you're and I'm not saying he's going to make
Starting point is 00:39:43 as much as he as he is playing, but you have to realize there's two murder. They're not giving you an end date on when your suspension is and you get paid over $150,000 a game. So since Draymond has been out, over $150,000 a game is what he's missing on his salary. Now, wasn't he suspended earlier this year
Starting point is 00:40:10 before this 12-game suspension for something else like 12 games? So now you have 24 games or something like that he missed possibly this year. I'm not sure the exact number. And you times that times 150,000. Now niggas is getting aggravated. Now niggas is like,
Starting point is 00:40:29 yo, how much should I get if I retire with the... Yo, because, listen, I could do other shit. How much the pension is right now. Yeah, because... Where's the pension? Right, because at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:40:40 I could see when you get suspended 10 games and you say, okay, cool, I'm going to miss out on $1.5 million. When there's no ending, you're like, yo, come on, man. Yeah, that is what Joe Dumont said. He said it's indefinitely.
Starting point is 00:40:56 So that means we'll get back to you. Right, exactly. And then after a while, you know, you talk about a nigga going through something. Yeah, a nigga going through something. A nigga going through something. Yeah, a nigga going through something. A nigga going through not getting paid for $150,000 per game and don't know when the next paycheck is. And I say he's not financially secure, but, you know,
Starting point is 00:41:17 you counting on what you counting on. Excuse me. And after what Seabass said, the money can't get funny, champ. Yeah, exactly. Money can't get funny. Exactly. Now, mind you, and now think about this as well, because I was reading something before I got in here today,
Starting point is 00:41:37 because now if Joel Embiid misses nine more games, he won't be eligible to get the MVP because he missed a certain amount of games. Draymond Green has probably already passed ineligibility to get any award this year, whether it's first, second, third team, defensive player of the year, et cetera, because you miss a certain amount of games you're not even eligible for. So now he's pissed off. He's upset. As I expect the nigga to be, if you got to end it, that's like saying you go to jail.
Starting point is 00:42:08 God forbid anybody go to jail that we fuck with or that we know or that we love that doesn't need to be in jail. And the judge say, we'll get back to you. Yo, what?
Starting point is 00:42:18 Yo, my nigga, am I getting a one to three or a 25-year sentence? I'll get back to you. You don't even know if he should be on good behavior yeah exactly
Starting point is 00:42:27 you don't know so it's frustrating and I get that for Draymond and now don't get me wrong the shit Draymond was doing
Starting point is 00:42:35 was wild but I would rather hear a nigga tell me you got 30 games than to hear well we don't know you get what I'm saying so
Starting point is 00:42:44 I I I sympathize with his frustration. This is during his contract year, so that makes it really crazy. No, he just got a contract. He just signed a four-year extension last year for four years for $100 million. Oh, he did? Yeah, last year. You know Rich Paul. You know, that's the family.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Speaking of... Well, I want to wrap this up before we go to break. I have something to say about a few things, but yeah, shout out to Draymond. I dig the frustration. You was a little wild out there
Starting point is 00:43:18 on that court. Niggas all getting hurt, but I dig the frustration. Look, if you say it's a basketball play and the rest of the world doesn't, who are they to argue with you, nigga? But I dig it. Give me my sentence and let me know what's going on.
Starting point is 00:43:34 And that way you can move forward. But he's been reinstated and I'm looking forward to him coming back. Well, Cam, it's great you brought up that point about the player rewards because we're going to go to break. And then when we return, we will talk about the NBA game requirements and then its impact on players' rewards.
Starting point is 00:43:49 Don't go anywhere. She call this thing about toxic Four years and counting Got you feeling like an option Maybe I'm my own problem, babe She tired of hearing, I don't know What's happening, me won't fall Dealing with this thing called trust But she really thinkin' bout it
Starting point is 00:44:28 She wanna be free Why am I in this woman's way? She wanna be free Hell, I don't wanna see her walk away I wish somebody told me the rules. Disagreements let her win in this corner. Even when I'm ready to sing about it. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:44:52 So let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day. Tonight, OKC will play Miami. SGA is at 33 and a half points. Do you have him higher or lower? Mace. I'm going to go a little pause under but he's gonna be right under that 30 on triple j we're gonna find out if triple j is who you say he is that tonight is no more game can i say something really funny though you know it's so
Starting point is 00:45:21 funny yeah y'all used to be like, you can't call him Triple J. He's not the real Triple J. And now y'all both call him that. You know what? I'm going to be honest and I can't speak for Maze. I don't know the nigga full name. So I'm just,
Starting point is 00:45:34 I don't know what you said. I don't, I don't know his first name. We're not saying, we're not saying Triple J like we're believers yet. We're just referring to the nigga you call. Jaime.
Starting point is 00:45:46 What's his name? Jaime. His first name is Jaime? Jaime Jaquez Jr. What the J is? Oh yeah, I ain't calling no nigga Jaime. Yeah, that sounds too close to Jaime. I ain't calling no nigga Jaime. Yeah, that's wild. Yeah, it sounds like Jaime. Triple J it is.
Starting point is 00:46:02 33.5 points higher or lower, Cam? Anyways. I'm going to go lower. Okay. Chet is at seven and a half rebounds. Do you have them higher or lower? Cam? Lower.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Okay. Mace? Nigga that tall should get more than seven rebounds. I'm going higher. Chet, make me look good. Pause. This is the one I wantounds. I'm going higher. Check. Make me look good. Pause. This is the one I want to make sure I mark, too. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Bam is at 39 and a half points, rebounds, and assists. Do you have him higher or lower? Mace. You know Bam ain't getting no 39. Come on. Just stop. Lower. Cold stop. Lower. Code Cam, lower.
Starting point is 00:46:48 Code Cam is lower for that. He's right. I'm going lower as well. I ain't going with the assist for Bam, like rebounds and points. Code Cam, you go lower. Bam, pause. Download the Underdog Fantasy app
Starting point is 00:47:03 and you can make your picks too. Okay, this is a pretty good discussion. This is the first year of the NBA's new games played requirements. Players must appear in at least 65 games to qualify for honors
Starting point is 00:47:15 such as all NBA teams or MVP. Joel Embiid will be- Hold on, hold on, hold on. Sorry. I want to talk about this, but I have something real quick. Murder. Murder. Yeah. I want to talk about this, but I have something real quick. Murder. Murder.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Yeah. Skip the Malou called me this morning. He's pissed. A lot of niggas is pissed off. Skip called me. He's pissed. He said he's coming up here tomorrow on the show. Rayford Austin said he's coming up here tomorrow
Starting point is 00:47:42 on this show. He has a problem with what Sebastian said, and he's coming up here tomorrow on this show. He has a problem with Sebastian said and he's upset and Skip is really up. Skip to my Lou. For those who don't know, go Google him right now. N1 Mixtape
Starting point is 00:47:58 NBA player, street legend in New York City. Very humble, very humble quiet guy has been pissed the fuck off with Sebastian Tell for his comments. Skip don't even usually talk.
Starting point is 00:48:11 He's arguing with people in my comments all day yesterday. I'm going back, it's eight in the morning. I go back 12 in the afternoon. I go back, Skip has at least 120 comments
Starting point is 00:48:25 in my comments and he doesn't talk a lot. I physically spoke to Skip yesterday and he said the boy is getting high and that he's fucked up for coming at his cousin
Starting point is 00:48:38 like that because Stephon Marbury and the Marbury family are royalty in Coney Island. And that Sebastian Telford isn't even better than Norm Marbury. So he's not even the second best player in his building. This is words of Skip to my Lou. Rafe Austin will be on the show tomorrow,
Starting point is 00:49:05 via from Houston, with a problem with Sebastian Telford and everything that Sebastian Telford said. And he said, Sebastian Telford needs to stay off the drugs. I'm not going to put drugs on Sebastian because Sebastian's interview was great. He had a lot of good things to say and I think his story came across very well.
Starting point is 00:49:24 Shout out to Batsy. I think you did a great job, bro. But according to Skip the Malu, you are out your fucking mind according to Rafe Austin. And Rafe will be on the show tomorrow. And according to, and Killer,
Starting point is 00:49:39 according to the research, Steph had the same 27, 28 on him that he had on Steph. I don't know how he said that. Yeah. You know I was going to do my research. Well, you know what? Stuff in the comments, too. Stuff in the comments.
Starting point is 00:49:58 But Steph is only laughing. Steph is putting LOL, laughing emojis at everything. Steph ain't really commenting on that. Steph, I'm going to DM you. We need to talk to each other. You got to get up here. What I'll say is this. And maybe Bassey's 27 was more than Steph's 27 because Bassey was a rookie.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Maybe. I don't know. What you think? Yeah. Steph had like 27-9 or something. It was like identical. I know one thing. It was like 27-8, 27-9, or 28-9, 28-7.
Starting point is 00:50:32 It was like exact. Steph is laughing at everything. He has no comment. Skip is going to fuck off. And Steph is just laughing like it's all amusement. And maybe it is amusement to him. Like, these niggas out there, damn, man. But Rayford, skip the Malou Austin, will be on the show.
Starting point is 00:50:50 He said, Bassey is going crazy. He said, the Marbury family is royalty in Coney Island. And Sebastian's not even the second best player from Coney Island, let alone the best player. These are some of the things that he told me. We'll get more information when he comes on the show. And he said another thing, Mace. He said that Sebastian
Starting point is 00:51:12 wasn't playing against niggas like Steph was. He said, Cam, if I play eligible, I have to play against you and Mace. I have to play against Steph Marbury. I have to play against Booger Smith. I have to play against Felipe Lopez. He started naming all these players. Listen. I said that yesterday.
Starting point is 00:51:28 He was playing against midgets. Yeah. Well, listen, it's better when it comes from, they're all NBA players. We didn't make it to the NBA. So whether it's Sebastian, whether it's Skip DeMalu, whether it's Starbury, they all made it. So sometimes, you know what happens?
Starting point is 00:51:43 That's why I like talking to Skip, and I know we have to move on. It's because a lot of times, because there wasn't a lot of cameras around or anything else, people don't take us serious as basketball players because we became rappers at such a young age and things have been like,
Starting point is 00:51:57 yo, get the fuck out of here. So when I'm talking to Skip today, you know, he solidified niggas. You know what I'm saying? It was like, yeah, you know what I mean? So he was like, yeah, I fuck with Skip. But he had a lot to say and he was pissed off. So Skip DeMalu will be on the show tomorrow
Starting point is 00:52:11 along with Mark Jackson and Maurice Clorette on Thursday. So the rest of the week is pretty lined up. That'll be a heated discussion. So make sure y'all stay tuned. Okay, so back. No, it's okay. Back to the games played requirements. Obviously we know now that players must play in at least 65 games to
Starting point is 00:52:30 qualify for honors. Joel Embiid, as Cam stated earlier, will be disqualified if he misses nine more games. And now Tyrese Halliburton has already missed three. And if he misses 17 more games, he'll be disqualified. And he currently has a hamstring strain.
Starting point is 00:52:44 So we don't know when his return will be. So how do you feel about these newer rules basically disqualifying players from these big awards? I think it was a good idea because it was trying to control load management for us. It was trying to get the players just getting rest off when they're not hurt to play and, you know, try and get the accolades
Starting point is 00:53:12 that they may want after the season's over. But, you know, it's a tough one and I kind of leave it to Mace because I don't have an answer for it because if you're really hurt
Starting point is 00:53:24 and then you're penalized, what can you do? But at the same time, should you get MVP if you only play 50 games hurt or not? It goes back to the argument that we had the other day when we was like, niggas get mad red shirts. You get an injury red shirt. You get academic red shirts. Exactly. You get this kind of red shirt.
Starting point is 00:53:43 This nigga's hurt. Well, he's hurt three years in a row, so he gets three red shirts. How many red shirts? If your body's not holding up, it's not holding up for us. But I like the new rule to be totally honest with you. Yeah, if you're playing in the playoffs at 50 games, of course you're going to be better than everybody else. Pause.
Starting point is 00:54:04 There's less wear and tear Right So that's exactly where you should be thinking Shout out to Sin City on that Everybody not hurt should be playing What's the use of paying you? They should make a rule That when you don't play
Starting point is 00:54:18 You don't get paid Niggas will suit up That's what That's what Silva need to be talking about Can't be paying niggas will suit up. That's what that's what Silva need to be talking about. Can't be paying niggas they ain't playing. I don't know why you shout this shit out.
Starting point is 00:54:30 Every time he post it and act like he killed it too, man. The new hotness. We the new hotness. The new hotness, man. That's why I said his name. You nigga DM me
Starting point is 00:54:43 till I told you. Tell me. Yo, sinner. Did you have anybody? The nigga sin DM Barack Obama. Cause he had a problem with some city. He said,
Starting point is 00:55:00 matter of fact, let me DM Barack. I said, yo, you a wild boy, man. And then as much as we were excited for john moran's return he is ruled out for the season after a shoulder tear so how do you think this will impact the grizzlies and then thoughts after hearing that news we
Starting point is 00:55:19 talked about a little bit yesterday but we didn't really go in depth. Look, the man, I'm sorry. Man, he took Mikey out of Memphis. John Moran ain't playing. I ain't going to no Memphis, man. I ain't got nothing to say to them niggas, man. No Mikey Williams, no John
Starting point is 00:55:39 Moran. What? What? I'm gonna go watch the babysitters. Yeah, they took the gunslingers out of a state of city where there's gunslingers at. So at the end of the day, listen, in all seriousness, it would have been a tall task for them to try to make it to the playoffs. Ja was doing all the- No, they was going to make the playoffs, killer. They was going to make the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:56:04 You know what I'm saying? They was going to make the playoffs. I. They was going to make the playoffs. They was going to make the playoffs. I wasn't saying that they wasn't. It was just going to be a tall task. Chitty, chitty, bang, bang. I'm not saying that they wasn't going to make it. They said, if somebody got to die, nigga, we going to the playoffs. Nah.
Starting point is 00:56:19 All jokes aside, seriously, it would have been a tall task. And the last few years, Ja has been getting hurt for different injuries. So if he has an injury, instead of trying to fight to play seven games straight that missed two or three and then do that the rest of the season, he's not going to win first, second, third team or NBA because he missed too many games for that already. And I think that if anything's wrong
Starting point is 00:56:45 with him, go get it right. I will be missing him. You know how excited we were to see his basketball fans, to see him come back and play. And it's disappointing that we won't be able to see him play the rest of the year. But on another note, I'd rather him 100% John Morant next season because the last few seasons, he's missed a multitude of games with different injuries. So John get better quick and hopefully you have a great season next year. Okay. On Monday, the Clippers dominated the Suns 138 to 111.
Starting point is 00:57:19 There is a leaked audio of trash talk between Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. So this is the alleged conversation. Russell said, what you say you're going to do? Shut your sorry ass up. And then Nurkic says, that's why you got on the bench. Then Kevin Durant says, you're not like that, Slim. And Russell said, yes, I am.
Starting point is 00:57:40 Thoughts on the exchange? I'll start real quick. And because I ain't got a lot to say. This ain't nothing new. These two niggas have not been getting along since they was on the same team at OKC. Every time they played,
Starting point is 00:57:54 it's been a couple times they played each other, they've been cool. But Russell Wilson, pardon me, Russell Westbrook, talks. This is what he talks about.
Starting point is 00:58:03 You know, I seen an interview recently with Tyrese Maxey pardon me, Russell Westbrook talks. This is what he talks about. You know, I seen an interview recently with Tyrese Maxey, and he was saying that the person that talks the most shit outside of his own teammate Pat Bev is Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook
Starting point is 00:58:17 is very intense. He talks a lot of shit. He's a very good player, so he feels like he can back it up. And them two niggas know each other, know other so when you know somebody you know somebody it's like if me and mace played against each other at a high level and not saying russell westbrook and uh kevin duran are as cool as me and mace but me and mace would not be friends whatsoever if we played against each other I'm talking about when we leave the gym
Starting point is 00:58:49 when we leave I don't even know when he's leaving the gym I'm not leaving with that nigga I'll see him when I see him in a few days and I know he feel the same only way the person gonna be cool after the game is whoever won and And they be
Starting point is 00:59:05 like, you know it's all good because the loser's leaving early. I don't even want to talk to niggas like that. You don't want to stick around and hear all of that. Yeah, you know, it's all good. Niggas don't want to stick around. Look, I don't expect nothing
Starting point is 00:59:22 less from them two players at all. That's all I really have to say about it. I think Russell Westbrook, there's nobody he hate basketball-wise more than Kevin Durant. Like, every time he says something, every time they've ever played, and they were on different teams, since the time that K Katie has entertained Golden State and went to Golden State. It's been smoke ever since then.
Starting point is 00:59:50 I don't I don't think I even do. I remember that like the first time they played. Absolutely. That's what I'm saying. A lot of Westbrook was talking crazy to him. Yeah. Yes. It's been a lot of time.
Starting point is 01:00:03 So Westbrook has been on that page. He's definitely been on that page. And I think this is one of those things when it comes to the playoffs, he is relishing the fact that we could possibly beat the Suns and send them niggas home.
Starting point is 01:00:21 That'll be the highlight of his season. It wouldn't matter if he came off the bench or wherever he played, as long as he beat Kevin Durant. And it's at the point, and I'm not saying that they won't make it, but the Suns, you know, right
Starting point is 01:00:37 now, they're currently in ninth place. They're in the plan and let me look at this real quick. There's a lot of games left. There's currently three games out of the sixth seed, which they'll automatically get them into the playoffs, but we keep saying there's a lot of
Starting point is 01:00:55 time left, week after week after week after week. We keep saying, is it really a lot of time left? When is it going to happen? So, you're right about that murder. Absolutely agree with you. And then lastly, before we end, boxer Ryan Garcia is facing a lot of backlash
Starting point is 01:01:14 after divorcing his wife, or at least posting that he's divorcing his wife within minutes after they revealed they welcomed their second child together. Both posts were on Instagram. So how do you feel about how they went about the situation? Wait, did he stick with the fact he's divorced now or did he switch up after the baby?
Starting point is 01:01:36 No, like he stuck with it. He's just facing a lot of backlash because right after he welcomed their child and he posted a statement saying that they were divorcing, like minutes after. Sound like a DNA test to me yeah it sounds like i mean ryan could be as sometimes a bit a bit like of a cloud chaser and a troller because he he really understands the um the internet he really understands the internet. He really understands what to do to generate a lot of fans and a lot of traction like he's doing right now.
Starting point is 01:02:11 He knew it would get us talking. And I think when it comes to a person like Ryan Garcia, I wouldn't trust it just yet. I love him as an athlete, Paul. I'm looking forward to him doing great things, but I think he trolls a lot. I wouldn't say cloud chaser, but definitely troller. He's from that generation. But when you date a young lady that starts all black and she wants to go blonde, you know, blondes have more fun.
Starting point is 01:02:45 Somebody should have told him that, killer. What do you think about that, killer, going from brunette to blonde? I know what that means psychologically. You know, I'm just listening. You know, I don't know much about this. I actually knew nothing about this. I knew you stay on top of your box and pause,
Starting point is 01:03:04 and like I do but not as much as you because it hasn't been great fights lately and I've seen this on our topic list but I'm like I'm not gonna do any homework on it because I know uh I would just get my natural reaction um I don't know about Ryan's trolling I know know he's a pretty good boxer. I don't know about his wife whatsoever. If you're purely asking me about brunettes going blonde...
Starting point is 01:03:36 You know she throw that blonde wig on when she wants to do. So, see, certain people haven't been on a player status so they don't know what we're talking about.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Blondes have more fun. If your girl throwing a blonde here, she's trying to do other things. She's trying to psych herself out.
Starting point is 01:04:00 She's trying to be somebody different tonight. Hey, listen, I'm not going to disagree with you. I don't know his wife or anything like that. And I'm not disagreeing with you with the blonde scenario.
Starting point is 01:04:11 The reason, and like I said, I don't want to disrespect anybody's, well, now he's getting a divorce, so I guess it's not his wife. But what I'll say is this. The reason I say this is, whether it's trolling or not trolling, and what I said before Murda started speaking
Starting point is 01:04:25 is, I'm not joking when I say it. You have a baby. Yeah. Then hours or a day after you announce a divorce, maybe your baby ain't look like. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Why would you do that?
Starting point is 01:04:43 You could just wait two weeks, wait a month, wait whatever. Everybody doesn't need to know. Maybe Mace is right. He's trolling, but to have a baby and then say, nah. Uh, now I'm getting a divorce. Yeah, it's not me
Starting point is 01:05:03 overthinking it. I'm thinking, let me go through the list now, Killer. I'm going to give you a list, right? Now, I'm not saying nothing about these people. I'm just saying they went from this color to blonde, all right? So I'm going to give you my top three people I think about. Okay. Marilyn Monroe went from black to blonde.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Lil' Kim went from black to blonde. Kim Kardashian went from black to blonde. Lil' Kim went from black to blonde. Kim Kardashian went from black to blonde. And now Larsa Pippen went from that color to blonde. I mean, you want me to keep going? Or you getting the vibes? I'd never disagree with you. This isn't
Starting point is 01:05:42 a conversation for me. Because I know Stat probably sitting there going, what is it? Well, it's just like a funny statement considering I literally just got Ash Blonde highlighted. I just looked over. I was like, yo. I didn't even pay attention. I was like, yo. I just noticed that.
Starting point is 01:05:59 I was like, wait a minute. I looked over like. Especially Ash Blonde. Thanks, Maze. Killer, killer. Hey. I looked over like. Especially Ash Blonde. Thanks, Maze. Killer, killer. Hey. Killer. Out hard.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Like it's out hard. You ain't low, Stat. So let me ask you, is Maze right? You want to have more fun? No. No. Stat baby says no. Don't take that and run with it.
Starting point is 01:06:24 I knew that no it's that it's that you got the streaks you got the streaks not fully there you're not all the way
Starting point is 01:06:31 committed yet you're trying it she wanna have a little bit of fun testing the waters yeah man you coming here with a whole
Starting point is 01:06:40 blonde bob with the bangs cut and the blonde hanging you definitely a new nigga
Starting point is 01:06:46 you a new nigga well we'll see if that happens one day you never you never know you never know Mace but my quick comments on the situation
Starting point is 01:06:54 I just feel like regardless of how you feel I just feel like that could have waited the divorce you could have at least just let you know it sit for 24 hours
Starting point is 01:07:02 that you're welcoming a new child then post I don't know the exact situation or details. I just know he said that they just had differences that can't be reworked.
Starting point is 01:07:10 I just waited a little bit. Time out, time out, time out. Just so people don't say that I said the wrong thing. The child was born or they're getting ready to have a child? It was just born.
Starting point is 01:07:20 Yeah, and he said this can't be fixed. Yeah. Amen. What I'm supposed to do hey man I'm just making sure I heard right that's it well let us know you guys' thoughts on the situation that is all the time we have for today
Starting point is 01:07:37 thanks for watching and as always it is what it is I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm what it is.
