Killer, what's good, man?
How you doing today?
Chilling, man.
That's what's up. That's what's up.
That's what's up.
To here.
Okay, today we are joined with our analyst Arabia.
Arabia, how you doing?
Great, how are you?
Good to be here.
What kind of flag is that in the background?
I can see why you would say that.
On the left, these are curtains
and then the back wall is white
and then to the right, my right wall is Navy.
So it's just coming together looking like a flag.
Oh.
Okay, okay.
What's your nationality?
I'm black, Negro and African-American.
How you speak Spanish so fluid?
So I've lived kind of like all over the world.
I learned it in Paraguay.
I lived there for a while.
I learned it in school.
I started a club in college.
So I just studied it, basically.
Okay, Mace knows Spanish too.
I was gonna say that, but I didn't wanna jump the gun.
Yes.
How did you learn Spanish?
Little, little, little.
Very good.
Niggas said the same thing three times in a row.
Little bit, little bit, little bit.
What did she say, Mace?
Status two, I don't know.
I just had to ask the expert, you know, I had a question.
That's all.
Arabia, glad to have you on the show.
We have a lot of football that we got to talk about. So that's what we're going to start with today. So the Giants are signing Russell Wilson to a one year deal worth up to $21
million, including $10.5 million guaranteed Arabia.
Are you surprised the Steelers gave up Russell Wilson?
And then do you like him on the Giants?
Yeah, no, I'm not surprised for Russell Wilson.
This will be his third team in three years from his final year with
the Broncos, a year with the Steelers and now with the Giants.
He's 36 years old, 10-time Pro Bowler, 350 passing touchdowns, which is the 12th most
in NFL history.
So, in my opinion, he's still a very serviceable quarterback.
He went 6-1 in his first seven starts with the Steelers.
His last five starts, he went on five.
I'm not putting all of that on Russell Wilson, though.
The Steelers schedule was crazy after their bye.
They did not see a single person in their division until November 17th.
That's almost Thanksgiving.
Six of their last eight games were division games.
The other two games were against the two teams that went to the Super Bowl,
the Chiefs and the Eagles.
So that's not to make excuses for Russ, but I am saying I do think he's a serviceable quarterback.
The Giants have had their eye on Russell Wilson since last offseason. This offseason, the Browns
had their interest in him. So this makes complete sense to me. And with that, if the Giants start
Russell Wilson, if they start Jamis, if they start Shador, whoever they start Jameis, if they start Shadoura, whoever they get in the draft, that would make the NFC East the only division in the NFL with all starting black quarterbacks.
So shout out to the NFC East, shout out to the black quarterbacks. And I think this kind of
makes sense as far as them having a vet in the room to guide whoever they might get in the draft.
Yeah, I think the money amount is too much to actually pick Russell Wilson,
give him $20 million, guarantee 10 of it, and then to drive Shador.
This seems like they made this play just in case they don't get Shador,
that they will have a solid quarterback.
And who knows, if somebody else is available at wide receiver,
I definitely could see them picking a wide receiver because it looks like
they're trying to take this on this giant team in a different direction.
Especially when you got the Jets made a move at getting a young younger
quarterback.
So that's what I look at when I look at this on pick.
And also I think this is a perfect, perfect situation for Russell Wilson.
If he actually can go there and ball out, it'll feel like it's his team.
Too much.
They got guaranteed 10 million, 20 million.
You know how much quarterback is going to pay?
They got 60 million.
They just gave Sam Darnal 44.
This is less than two for one.
You can't beat this price too much. I don't mean too much. That's got 60 million. Ladies and gentlemen, this is less than two for one.
You can't beat this price too much.
I don't mean too much, this is the cheapest.
This is the wild cheap, super duper cheap deal.
You got two quarterbacks for $18 million just basically.
I don't even count the shit that's not guaranteed no more,
even if it is guaranteed 21 million.
Quarterbacks is making 60 million, 55, 50 million.
10 million dollars and James Winston at eight million dollars?
Two quarterbacks, 18 million?
That is a three for one.
That's less, that's not even a third
of what you're giving Dak Prescott.
So kudos to the Giants,
cause I think that's a sensational deal.
Secondly, both these quarterbacks, cause we didn't even get to Jameis Winston,
it's one-year deals.
So you do a one-year deal.
And we're not sure if we're going to...
I always say we when we talk about these things.
Last two days, I've been saying we.
The Giants, if they do get your door,
me and Nick was just sitting here talking about it.
It's not really bad to come in behind Russ
for a few games if the Giants are doing good,
then put Shador in.
If they go in the route of getting Shador,
I'm not sure if they'll do that.
But I think you cannot beat getting two quarterbacks
for less than $20 million.
Now, I want to ask Arabia,
what do you mean serviceable quarterback? Like a service ask Arabia, what do you mean serviceable quarterback?
Like a service dog?
Like what do you mean serviceable?
He's a quarterback.
Like what do you mean serviceable?
He's okay?
He's like 42% these days, 63%.
What's the exact meaning of serviceable?
Yeah, so it's levels to everything.
So in the quarterback position, you have elite,
you have great, you have good.
Serviceable just means that he can come in,
get the job done like a, like a, like a layover.
Like kind of get the job done if you need him to come in
for a couple of games and then get out of there.
He's not going to be your long-term solution.
He's kind of barely going to be your short-term solution.
And kind of in the example I gave,
how he went six and one of his first seven starts,
oh, and five in his last five starts, six in six.
That's kind of serviceable.
Like, when the goalie gets tough, he gets a little shaky.
So he can get in there and win you some games
and get you some top 10 plays,
but I don't think he's a long-term solution.
Did you call the nigga a layover flight?
Did you call the nigga a connecting flight just now?
He's a first time on the way to your destination. He's not your final destination. The nigga's a layover. Did you call the nigga a connecting flight just now?
He's a first time on the way to your destination.
He's not your final destination.
The nigga's a layover.
See what happens?
You get one good year, you got a quarterback
and you start feeling yourself.
What is JD5?
What is he?
What is he?
Because Russell Wilson is serviceable.
Yeah, he's Nirvana.
He's where you wanna be.
That's the final destination.
Final destination.
Is he the best in the division, NFC East?
He might be the best in the NFC.
Oh man, that's strong.
That's crazy. That's crazy.
So you got him ahead.
She's definitely from.
I don't know if he's the best in the division.
I think he might be second best in the division.
I don't know. I don't know if he's better than that guy division. I think he might be second best in the division. I don't know.
I don't know if he's better than that guy down there
that just won that Super Bowl in Philadelphia.
You think he's better than the Eagles quarterback right now?
What I will say is that I think that Jalen Hurts
gets a lot of disrespect, a lot of disrespect.
So I'm gonna give Jalen Hurts the credit that he is due
because in the national media, for whatever reason,
they just hate on him.
So I'm gonna give him his props and say JD-5 is up and coming,
but he better watch his back.
I'll just say that.
There's no, thank you.
What do you mean by he better watch his back?
I'm saying like JD-5,
if he continues on the trajectory he's been going in,
then he might take that number one spot.
All right.
He's got one good year, boy.
He's got one good year. They. He's got one good year.
They don't remember CJ Stroud.
Like this is the same thing.
He's got one good year, boy, man.
But as far as the Giants are concerned,
my bad, Rae, I didn't mean to cut you off.
I think this is great.
No, it's okay.
Especially for the price.
I mean, this price you can't beat.
Secondly, what do we really expect from the Giants?
Like we're not really expecting them to do anything.
You know what I'm saying?
They're gonna come and last in the division.
I don't really know what to expect from the Giants.
Who, all right, here's a better question.
I ask anybody on the pin on Arabia might know.
I'm pretty sure I would bet Mace don't know.
Stat, I would bet Stat don't know.
I'm almost ready to bet that Arabia don't know,
but I know she's into her shit.
Who is the wide out one for the Giants?
Yeah, exactly.
We don't even know who niggas throwing the ball to.
That's what I'm talking about.
Right there.
Isn't it Malik?
Yeah, I mean, Malik Neighbors, but other than him.
Malik Neighbors was their number one pick last year.
But other than that, who does that?
I think that's the point.
Everybody's watching Malik Neighbors.
Do you know?
I mean, could it be Malik Neighbors?
I don't know.
I have no idea.
I feel like that's the answer.
That's what I was asking.
I don't know.
No, I was being genuine.
I don't know.
That's what I was saying.
Y'all might know. I was willing to bet that genuine. I don't know. That's what I was saying. Y'all might know.
I was willing to bet that y'all didn't know
because who's keeping up?
Nobody got time to be depressed unless you Nick
or a real Giants fan or somebody like that.
I'm not keeping up with that shit.
I gotta pay attention to who's winning.
People who make the front lines,
like we talk basketball later.
But like Detroit, I'm so proud of Detroit
because last year Detroit Pistons, I'm talking about,
were making the headlines to see if they were gonna lose
the most game ever in NBA history.
And that was frontline on Sports Center and anything else,
even when we were talking about it.
So I'm happy for Malik, your man, or whatever,
but it don't sound like he's somebody
that I need to know just yet,
if he's their number one pick last year.
I was being facetious and inquiring,
who's really the fucking number one,
why that, because I don't know,
I don't even know who these niggas throwing the ball to.
But I think y'all made a great, great deal financially,
if we're talking about the Giants, to layover niggas.
What's Jamin Winston, Winston Arabia,
because if Russell Winston's a layover, what's Jamin Winston in Arabia? Because if Russell Winston's a layover,
what's Jamin Winston?
What is he?
He's a standby.
Yeah, he's not at the airport.
He at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport.
He's at the airport. He's at the airport. He's at the airport. He's at the airport. He great hair, man. It's fucked up, B.
What is he?
You say he's not at the airport.
Where is he?
He Amtrak.
He like,
he's like,
he's like,
she said Amtrak.
Amtrak.
Amtrak.
Damn.
Yeah.
Well, shout out,
Jameis Winston.
I would hate to play sports
if somebody said you Amtrak.
That's crazy.
Facts, facts, facts, facts.
Okay, well now that they have AQB and Russ
and back up in Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito,
Arabia, what does this mean for Shador?
What is Tommy DeVito?
If Jameis Winston is air-tracked,
Tommy DeVito gotta be a pedal bike.
Yo. Tommy DeVito. be a pedal bike. Yo!
Tommy DeVito.
Greyhound.
Nah, he ain't even Greyhound, bro.
Tommy DeVito might be the bike,
and if you get tired and got your rafts
so you ain't got a pedal.
The dollar van.
Yeah, that nigga ain't got a pedal.
There ain't nothing with the engine in it, boys.
At all.
He gotta be a pedal bike, B.
My guy, my bastard.
Dang, no, all good.
So what does this mean for Shador,
considering the Giants have the third overall pick, Arabia?
Okay, so I want to read something
that Joe Shane said at the combine,
because he said this a while ago in February,
and so far, he's sticking true to what he said.
He said, even if you get a young quarterback,
you like to have a vet in the room with them
to show them the ropes and how to be a pro.
So we're looking at all different avenues.
We're looking at vets.
We're looking at the draft.
We're gonna look at trade candidates.
We're gonna look under every rock
to find the best prospect for us going into the 2025 season.
It's the most important position in football.
The play has to be better than what it has been.
So what that means to me is that
they're gonna get a Jameis,
they're gonna get a Russell Wilson,
and they might still get Shador in the draft.
Shador is a great anticipation thrower.
He's a pro-style passer
who can deliver the ball down the field.
He's obviously the face of a franchise.
So I think it still makes sense for him to come in
and be impactful at some point during the season,
maybe not immediately, but come in and be impactful,
or at least learn the ropes,
even though Russell Wilson and Jamis are there.
So this is still certainly a possibility.
Yeah, I think if you're going in a direction of Shadour,
you definitely don't need Jamisun because I wouldn't want,
if you talk about learning as a pro,
I wouldn't want him to pick up the bad habits
of Jamis Winston, just the way he takes too much risk
when they're throwing the ball.
That's definitely not something I would want
my young quarterback to learn,
that I would be putting a lot of money into.
I think this, if the Giants do go in that direction,
I think it's great, because not necessarily Jamis Winston,
but Russell Wilson, like Russell Wilson,
because the last few years, he gets,
like we was just talking about Jalen Hurts,
the disrespect that Russell Wilson gets the last few years
is really bad.
And I think that when he was in Seattle,
under P. Carroll, he blossomed, he was great.
He should be a two-time Super Bowl champion.
You know, a bad play call is what caused him
actually a Super Bowl, but Russell Wilson was elite.
I think he gets a lot of discredit
because of shit off the field, actually.
And I don't think he's been playing
like he played in Seattle,
but niggas don't worry about,
oh, he's up Sierra ass, he's with this person's son,
or he's doing this, or he's in love,
or this, that, and the third.
And I be clowning. Well, ain't nothing wrong with that, man. You this, so he's in love, or this, that, and the third. And I be clowning.
Well, ain't nothing wrong with that, man.
Being a good family man, going to work,
there's nothing really wrong with that.
It's just that you're doing it with somebody
that we know, baby mother, and his kid.
So it be looking like, yo, what are you doing?
But I think overall, he's a professional's professional.
He comes to work, he stays off, he stays out of trouble.
You don't hear no bullshit about Russell Wilson
in the club, in a shootout, in a car accident.
And he's a professional's professional.
He just hasn't been living up to par
as far as his quarterback skills earlier in his career.
As far as Shador learning under anybody,
like you just was reading Arabia,
Shador is cool with Tom Brady, all right?
Or standby, or speed down.
He doesn't need to really call too many other people.
Tom Brady is at your beck and call when you call him.
Crap.
Yeah, yeah, he is the criminal, he's the fucking goat.
He's my goat, Joe Montana, you know,
you wanna argue with a few other people.
Tom Brady to me, you know, Aaron Rodgers,
all the old niggas, people wanna argue.
Tom Brady for me, I seen it, that's why.
I watched him come off the bench for Drew Blisser
and they ain't turned back.
But, and I'm pretty sure, there's other quarterbacks
that Shador has in his phone.
Shador my nigga, so I know he talks to him.
But the point being is, who to learn from?
How about the nigga with seven Super Bowl rings
and 10 Super Bowl appearances?
And actually went to two different teams
and two different conferences to do it.
So, I like that statement that you just read
because it doesn't have to be necessarily
the people in the locker room.
You could call a bunch of pros that he knows.
Shador was actually on this show.
And you know why I like Shador,
and shout out to Coach Prom as well,
is that when we was up here talking,
the very mature young man Shador,
growing up in the spotlight with a celebrity father
and then him being on reality TV
when he's four or five or six years old,
then having to be seen with everything Dion was doing,
talking about from Jackson State to moving to Colorado
and the eyeballs are on you
because your father's an overwhelming figure.
For him to keep cool, calm, and collected like he is,
I gotta give him a lot of credit.
Like I was about to say, he was on this show,
and we was talking to him about his quarterback skills,
and he actually said in a cool way, no disrespectful way,
he said, yeah, I tapped out with my dad.
I reached my ceiling to pause,
so when learning from him as a quarterback,
you know, he's a special teams and also a quarterback,
but as far as a quarterback, I tapped out with him.
That's why I started reaching out to other legends
that were quarterbacks.
And for him to say that, you know,
that's kind of a bold statement,
even though we know your father
didn't play the quarterback position,
but who the fuck is you to talk about
I tapped out with my father
when your father is Deon Sanders.
You know what I'm saying?
But he, I mean, like I said, he did not say this
in a rude way or nothing like that.
It was very professional.
So I'm pretty sure his rolling deck, so to speak,
is full of people he can learn from.
Okay, so also with Jameis Winston to the Giants,
Arabia, what do you think this means for the
Browns?
Do you think they're putting too much trust into Deshaun Watson?
I think this Deshaun Watson deal that happened before is rippling through time and is a self-inflicted
wound and they're trying to put a bandaid on a bullet wound, but they're hemorrhaging.
They want a Russell Wilson.
He is no longer available.
Jameis is gone.
They get Kenny Pickett.
At this point, they should consider trading with Atlanta
for Kirk Cousins or exploring their options in the draft.
They sit at about 22nd in the NFL in cap space,
about five and a half million dollars.
And I doubt that Kenny Pickett or even a Carson Wentz
will be enough to stop the bleeding for it to matter.
But I think at this point,
they should really be exploring their options in the draft
because anything else with Kenny Pickett and Carson Wentz,
I mean, less than serviceable
if we're gonna keep with that analogy.
And they probably just gotta get their guy in the draft.
What is Watson at this point
when you talk about layovers and Greyhound and all of this, I
want to know what your temperature is on Watson.
I think he's like a Lyft or an Uber.
Like he'll come get you.
Sometimes the Lyft or the Uber drive you to trip in a little bit.
He'll get you there.
It might be a little bit. He'll get you there. I don't know.
It might be a wild ride.
I like these analogies. I really like these analogies.
So not Uber, does Uber be trippin' or is that Lyft?
It depends on the driver.
That's the thing.
It could be Lyft, it could be Uber, it can be the taxi. Like whoever in that driver seat,
it depends on their mental state. It depends on their health and wellbeing.
If he ain't right, then the riding can be right.
And just for the listeners, is he black car? Is he ride share pause?
What is it?
No, he's the regular joint. He's not even like the, you know, you could pay $2.99
or something like that for the extra time.
No, he's just the regular ride.
Okay.
That's crazy.
Okay.
I don't know, man.
Like the Browns, it was a time a few years ago
that it looked like the Browns made me all right.
And this before the Deshaun Watson era.
Baker Mayfield was there. They got OBJ. to look like the Browns may be all right. And this before the Deshaun Watson era.
Baker Mayfield was there, they got OBJ, it was like, all right, the Browns,
Miles Garrett, et cetera, it was looking like,
okay, the Browns may be able to make some noise.
And that shit just crumbled faster and faster than,
I mean, we watched the shit unfold in front of our eyes.
Then you get Deshaun Watson, Deshaun Watson, you know, it was a time
with Deshaun Watson, even when he was coming out of Clemson
and his coach Dabble was like,
yo, y'all getting the Michael Jordan of the draft
I'm telling you right now.
Then when he went to Texas,
he looked like he potentially may be
the Michael Jordan of the draft that particular year.
Then he doesn't play, then the scandal comes out.
Then you get the $230 million guarantee. Then you get't play, then the scandal comes out, then you get the $230 million guarantee,
then you get to Cleveland,
you're not performing exceptionally well,
then you get hurt.
It was just a downward spiral for Deshaun Watson
the last four, three, four years,
partly because of his blame on him,
partly because of the injuries.
Me personally, I think it's kind of crazy, pardon me.
I thought it was kind of crazy
and I'm not insinuating anything.
I'm just saying the time and wise of this
is that when he wanted to get a trade out of Texas,
remember the Texans didn't wanna get rid of
the Sean Watson.
He wanted out because his receivers,
his wide out left and went to Arizona.
So he's like, yo, I don't wanna be here no more,
et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
And Houston didn't wanna get rid of him.
Then he kept throwing a fit.
I wanna get out, I wanna get out, I wanna get out.
Then boom, the allegations hit.
Hand job after hand job after hand job
after hand job after hand job.
I'm not accusing Houston of knowing about these hand jobs to Texas,
but it's kind of like, yo, when niggas,
all right, you wanna act crazy,
we've been sweeping shit under the rug for you
for a little while.
But since you wanna be crazy,
we'll let all these allegations come out.
Not saying they shouldn't have came out before.
I'm not saying sweep anything
where a female feels disrespected,
you know, in an uncomfortable situation under the rug at all.
But I just thought it was mighty strange at that time that they
came out. So they probably knew about it, but then he threw a
tantrum and left. But I think for us, the Browns are concerned.
I really have no idea. I have none. I don't know, because I
don't even know if Deshaun Watson is going to be healthy
when they start the season. So I don't I don't really know what you want me to say, Stats. That's about the Browns. We don't even know if Deshaun Watson is gonna be healthy when they start the season. So I don't really know what you want me to say,
stat about the Browns.
We don't even know what's gonna happen.
And then the thing about it is even when you say
Jameis Winston lately, he wasn't doing shit what he did.
I was more excited to see him throw the next interception.
I was betting on interceptions more than complete passes.
I thought that was more exciting
because you knew the nigga was gonna throw an interception.
Nigga have a great game, 392 yards,
and then throw an interception with seven seconds left
to fuck up everything.
That was more entertaining
than him actually throwing at 390 yards.
So I have no idea where Cleveland's going.
We'll see as the summer comes.
Yeah, and I don't know how he, how he's going to return,
especially how he exited this year. If he comes back even healthy,
like thinking about you was actually hurt the last time you was on this team and
the crowd was booing you as you're getting escorted off the,
off the field, lifted off of the field. That's just,
I don't know if,
if he even have
that kind of mental fortitude to be able to show back up
the work and to give somebody your all
that you know ain't really filling you.
Yeah.
To be honest, my take, I don't feel like
any of these decisions that these teams have made
make any sense to me.
To be completely honest, if I'm the Browns,
not knowing if Deshaun Watson is gonna be at complete health, they have the second pick in the draft.
I know we're saying Chador probably wants to go to a flashy place.
If I were the Browns, I'm not listening to any of that.
I'm choosing Chador.
I'm going to choose the better quarterback rather than letting him fall third to the Giants
when they already have Russ, Tommy DeVito.
And then of course, Jameis Winston. That just doesn't make sense to me because I feel like you're doing them a favor. the Giants when they already have Russ, Tommy DeVito,
and then of course, Jameis Winston.
That just doesn't make sense to me
because I feel like you're doing them a favor
and why would you do them a favor?
I feel like this is the time to be selfish
and get something that I feel like is gonna help
your team more in the long run.
So all these decisions, I just don't think is making sense
and I just, I would hope Shador gets put
in the best situation, but at the end of the day, we know that the top draft picks don't think it's making sense. And I just, I would hope Shador gets put in the best situation.
But at the end of the day, we know that the top draft picks don't necessarily go in the
best situations anyways.
So might as well just choose him second overall at this point.
So let's say, let's say that, that the, what's his name?
The wide receiver from Colorado goes first.
Okay. And it's left to be Shador.
And you can answer this too, Arama, right there.
If you got Shador or Cam Ward at number two,
which one are you picking in why?
For two?
Yeah.
Well, I think that the first quarterback being chosen,
in my opinion, is going to be Cam Ward.
So I just think at that point it's whoever chooses him.
But I don't even know if at this point, which we'll talk about it later, I don't know if
Travis Hunter is going first overall.
Okay.
I think, you know, the Titans are going to choose a quarterback because that's what they
need.
But Arabia, you can give your opinion as well.
Yeah, I think two things about that. Number one, I think that, you know, pretty much if, if Ken Ward is there and Shadour
is there, the Browns offense, like Kevin Stefanski's offense more closely resembles what Shadour
has been playing in lately.
So sometimes, sometimes it's not about best available as much as it is who fits most in
your system. And the thing that's in common between the Giants
and the Browns is that they both have head coaches who are kind
of in the hot seat.
They're at the end of their rope.
So Brian Dayball, if things don't go well,
they're going to be looking at him like your job is in jeopardy.
And same with Kevin Stefanski.
They're only going to be around for so long as head coaches
if things continue in this trajectory.
So they're going to be really cautious with the quarterback moves that they make
because their success and their job titles
are closely tied to the quarterback position.
I mean, unfortunately, that's just the way that it goes.
So Kevin Stefanski might be more inclined
to get a Shador Sanders
because of the type of offense that they run.
But if he's going best available,
then he might end up going Ken Moore.
Okay.
So speaking of the draft, we know that the Titans had the first overall pick.
They actually held an additional private workout with cam ward.
So Arabia, do you think that cam ward is going first overall or do you
think it could be Travis Hunter?
Yeah, I think, I think it's going to be cam ward who goes first overall, but
honestly, I wouldn't be surprised with the way stranger things have happened.
If it's Travis Hunter, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Cam Ward.
I wouldn't be surprised.
Neither of those things are like groundbreaking, shocking news.
What I will say, though, is that clearly they are heavily pursuing Cam Ward,
not just with this additional workout, but having several people at his pro day.
In addition to another pre-draft meeting
that they said went really, really well.
So this could be a draft tactic.
Sometimes teams kind of pretend
that they're super interested in someone,
so that if someone does want that number one spot,
they have to put together a strong package
if someone wants to move up to number one.
The last time that a team gave away
that number one overall pick, the Bears and the Panthers,
the Bears netted a number nine overall pick, a number 61 overall pick in the 2023 draft,
a first round pick in 2024, a second round pick in 2025, and DJ Moore. And that was back then.
So if someone wants that number one pick with the way that the Titans are really, really pursuing
Cam Ward, they will have to give them the sun, the world, and the moon for real because they are really making it known that that's who they want.
Whether they actually want him or not is one thing, but it could be just a tactic to make
sure that other people know if you want this spot, you have to give us a lot.
Yeah, I think the city of, just thinking about Tennessee right now, they definitely need something good to be out there.
I think Cam Ward will be the best fit. I don't think it makes no sense to pick a wide receiver without a quarterback.
That just doesn't make sense. But teams do it all the time. So if I'm Tennessee, the Titans, I'm definitely going with Cam Ward first.
I would like to see Shadour in New York
or somewhere like that.
But definitely I don't see him going to Tennessee.
Well, there's been a lot of chatter yesterday
on X and everything else about Abdul Carter
saying he's gonna be the number one pick
because he's the best player in the draft.
And Cam Ward say he's, after his pro day, he said he's solidified that he's gonna be the in the draft. And Cam Ward say, after his pro day,
he said he solidified that he's gonna be the number one
picked and Abdul Carter from Penn State said,
I don't know what the fuck Cam talking about.
I'm the best player in the draft
and the best player in the draft should go number one.
What I say to that little chatter or that banter
that was going back and forth is that Tennessee,
is Abdul Carter the best player in the world?
Probably so.
But do you need a quarterback?
Absolutely.
Let's think about this.
Tennessee is in the AFC.
Who's in the AFC?
Pat Mahomes,
yeah, Justin Herbert,
the usual suspects, Josh Allen,
Josh Allen, also Justin Allen, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow.
Sorry about that, I don't know why I'm drawing a blank.
But the point being is, you know,
the AFC is loaded with quarterbacks.
I don't know who the fuck Tennessee quarterback
is right now, bro.
So to have a name and not just a name,
a face to put with the franchise, that'd be good.
Is Abdul-Khalid the best player?
Probably so, you know, all you gotta do
is get to the quarterback.
But when the ball is an offense, you gotta score.
What you gonna do?
Who's throwing them passes?
You gotta have a good defense or one defensive player
to start putting good pieces around your defense
But if you're not scoring in the afc
You're not going to win
So i'm dual card. I get that you may be the best player
But it ain't about the best player if you can get the best quarterback for a team that needs a quarterback
In a conference that's full of loaded quarterbacks
I would go with c Ward, me personally.
Very good point.
So now that leaves the Steelers, Arabia,
do you think they will be snagging Aaron Rodgers?
I mean, rumors are swirling that Aaron Rodgers
could land there if he doesn't retire
or bully his way to Minnesota,
but the Vikings don't feel the mutual interest that Aaron Rodgers feels for them.
So whoever they choose, this will be the Steelers six starting quarterback in
four years. George Pickens, dad went to Twitter and said, food for thought.
George Pickens has played with one Trubisky, two Pickett, three Rudolph, four
Wilson, five Fields and six question mark mark question mark all in three years.
I can appreciate your sanity number 14.
So maybe that's why George Pickens be acting the way
he be acting, he's frustrated.
And whoever they do get in there at quarterback,
just make sure he can fight.
Because DK Metcalf and George Pickens really do not
be playing around with the shit.
So whoever it is, I'm sure that he's really ready
for stability because Terry McLaurin went through
the same thing going through multiple quarterbacks
over and over again every season.
So, you know, I really want Aaron Rodgers to retire.
It looks like he's going out bad and sad,
but if he does end up there,
then I just hope it's a good situation for everybody.
Yeah, the Steelers seem desperate.
We know they're desperate right now.
I know Stat don't want to hear this.
And I'm happy for them.
I like this for them as a franchise, you know.
This year we're going to be able to laugh at you guys
on Christmas, on Thanksgiving.
And the Black and Yellow can have a backseat this year.
If they get Aaron Rodgers,
I think he'll actually play well there, all jokes aside.
I think he's the best fit with what's left, unless they can somehow will Kirk Cousins
there.
I don't know how they would do it, but that would be the best fit for them.
Yeah, Stab Argo.
I just feel like this whole thing is dumb.
I feel like Aaron Rodgers is is gonna go to the Steelers
and get freaking Mike Tomlin fired.
I just don't think any of this makes sense.
I don't.
You think he's gonna get him fired?
Yeah, same way that he got Robert fired.
I think he gonna do the same thing to my tee.
He goes in situations, makes it about him.
Yes, the court is the quarterback,
but we need everybody to be working together in unison.
I don't think he's gonna do good with our situation.
I don't even understand why we got rid
of Justin Fields to begin with.
He started off our season four and two,
which was pretty good.
We could have built it off of that.
Let me get rid of Russ.
I just feel like all these,
that's why I said nothing today to me is making any sense.
So if y'all wanna play around with Aaron Rodgers,
guess we gotta go ahead and play around with Aaron Rodgers
and see what happens, but I'm tired of seeing what happens
because we don't have time for that.
This is not literally as you say,
this now is not the time.
Now is not the time.
Now is definitely not the time,
but I think this is the way y'all set it up.
You know, you put a lot of,
a lot of stake in Russell Wilson.
This is when that one year quarterback doesn't work out.
When you only got somebody on the contract for one year.
I mean the same thing could happen in the situation that he's in now. I mean they sign
him for event minimum. He was very much low stakes for us to try with and yes the end of the season
didn't go as planned but I think that was something to build off of rather than quite literally to
Arabia's point starting with another quarterback and then they talk about they signed back Mason
Rudolph. Mason Rudolph.
Mason Rudolph did good at the end of the season
when Kenny Pickett was injured,
but he's still not a starting quarterback.
So I just think this is dumb because year after year
we're in the back, the same situation of
who is our quarterback and what are we gonna do?
Like three years now, come on, we need a solution.
That's how I feel.
I think Aaron Rodgers coming in there and trying to take over is a legitimate concern because
clearly he did that in New York. But I don't think Robert Sala is Mike Tomlin. I don't think Mike
Tomlin, you know, the guy who I know him to be, is going to allow anybody to come and step to him
and his program. I just think the type of man and the type of coach and the type of leader that Mike
Tomlin is, you're not about to come in there and just run his program. I just think the type of man and the type of coach and the type of leader that Mike Tomlin is,
you're not about to come in there and just run his program.
So I wouldn't have that same type of concern
with Mike Tomlin and the Steelers
that happened with Robert Solid,
but I can see why some people will be averse
to Aaron Rodgers given that he has a kind of diva mentality.
Yeah, I just think it sounds good in theory,
but truthfully, a lot of things happened this year
that I didn't expect.
So I think we're at the point
where it's like literally anything can happen
and that's kind of where my mentality is at.
Yeah.
Yeah, you say now's not the time,
but when is the time,
because everybody's getting their shit together,
when is the time to get y'all to go?
I'm trying to figure out the same thing,
the whole trusting the process, I'm for it.
When is the time, you said, when's the time?
I wish I had an answer.
The time's now.
Exactly.
I like exactly what Arabia said,
to be totally honest with you.
Aaron Rodgers fucked Pittsburgh.
Bully your way to Minnesota.
They had a great year last year,
the team's already in place.
I think, to be honest with you they shouldn't even got ready Sam Donald
He he folded the last two games, but with that experience
That's gonna carry over into next year
I and I know it cost them a few millis like my nigga Mike Irvin would say
But yo, bro, that nigga had a sensational season
We got to think about this that the division was on the line the last game of the season.
Now they didn't look good against the Lions,
and then they didn't look good, obviously,
when they got bumped out the playoffs.
But Sam Donnell had an absolutely great team.
And them niggas is sitting there right on the cusp
of winning division.
Look and think about this.
I think they went 13 and four, 14 and three,
and didn't win the division.
Now that's kinda crazy because the Lions
were just that good.
If you put Aaron Rodgers there,
and he has a, we not talking about New York Aaron Rodgers,
let's just sweep that shit under the rug,
it was a disaster.
But he won the MVP 2022, you give me a 2022,
now it's not that long ago, all right?
When you're older, it can seem like years and years
and years ago, what was it that long ago?
You give me the 2022 Aaron Rodgers in Minnesota.
I love, I like the way Minnesota looks.
I like that a lot.
I wasn't even thinking about that.
But Minnesota needs a quarterback.
Fuck Pittsburgh, Aaron Rodgers, you ain't got time.
And I think that's why Aaron Rodgers to me,
it isn't just about Pittsburgh being hesitant,
I think Aaron Rodgers is hesitant.
I think Aaron Rodgers is like,
well, Rabie just said, but Aaron Rodgers knows that.
I can't go ahead and tell Mike Tomlin what the fuck to do,
like I would tell anybody else what the fuck to do.
I can't tell a nigga to shut the fuck up
and call the play so I don't have to run it.
I don't think they're having that.
My opinion, I like that.
Ammon Rogers with Minnesota,
cause you're not just in Minnesota,
you're in division with Green Bay.
So you gotta go back to your old team
and play them twice a year.
And Emma gets Joy Love?
I like that.
I want Ammon Rogers in Minnesota. I like that. I want her Rogers of Minnesota.
I like that.
I want that.
Pause.
Okay.
And it's happened before, like with, I'm sorry,
with Brett Favre, who Aaron Rodgers sat behind Brett Favre,
and Brett Favre did that.
It was one of the biggest division rival moves ever,
where he went from Packers to the Vikings.
So there's certainly a precedence for his mentor doing the same thing.
Yeah, I remember that clearly.
Brett Favre did that shit out of spite though.
He like, all right, cool.
Y'all niggas don't see Brett Favre was a diva.
Brett Favre, first of all, when you gonna pay back that welfare shit, man?
First and foremost, man, y'all niggas in Mississippi just running wild, man.
I seen the case.
I actually read up on the court case file.
Brett Favre and the governor,
everybody else literally was taking money
out the welfare fund for him to fund some football,
volleyball, I don't fucking know, some shit,
whatever it was, out the welfare.
It was mad at other places they could've took money from.
That's foul.
But anyway, Brett Favre was on some diva shit.
He didn't want to come to training camp.
He didn't want to say if he's committing for the season,
et cetera.
So they moved on to Aaron Rodgers
and Brett Favre was spiteful, I bet.
Y'all don't want me?
I'm going right in the division and Arabia is right.
It was crazy. Minnesota against Green Bay.
And I think years later,
this could be the same type of energy.
I would love to see that.
Okay.
And then last football topic before we go to break.
So Stefan Diggs is signing with the Patriots on a three year,
$69 million deal, including $26 million guaranteed.
Rabia, are you surprised his journey in Texas is at an end and do you like him
being on the Patriots? Yeah. I mean,
his contract included him being able to kind of wheel and deal and himself as he
wanted to. Stefan Diggs and Drake May may actually be
a really good connection.
He sustained an ACL injury in week eight against the Colts.
So he didn't even play the entire year,
which is unfortunate always.
So I think this could potentially be a good
quarterback wide receiver connection.
The Patriots wide receiver room had the fewest receiving
yards in the NFL last year, just 1,723 receiving yards.
So he's gonna go and boost that room for sure.
The Patriots were also heavily pursuing Chris Godwin
before he eventually resigned with the Bucs.
So this to me is like good for him.
He's from the DMV.
So shout out to the DMV and athletics around here.
So this doesn't really surprise me.
I hope he does really, really well.
Whatever, Patriots.
Yeah, that's why I passed.
It's really not your job to pass, but okay.
She's getting paid to do that.
I don't have a lot of intel on losing teams, you know?
I mean, it's Stephon Diggs, though.
My opinion with Stephon Diggs is that, there's a couple things.
Look, we know his situation in Buffalo
didn't really end that well.
The first year he leaves, Josh Allen gets MVP.
It's kind of crazy, because they're sitting there saying,
you ain't getting me the ball, this that third fine,
he leaves, he goes to Houston, then Josh Allen gets the MVP.
Kind of looked like he was in the way, possibly.
I'm not going to say that,
because Stephon Diggs is fucking good.
And he was doing really good with Houston.
To be honest with you, I think that's the difference
in Houston possibly going to an AFC championship,
you know, with him not being there.
When he was there, he was fucking great.
They actually beat Buffalo
when they played in the regular season.
So we'll see what happens.
I don't think this is gonna change
the Patriots' outcome this season,
but go get your money, young nigga.
I'm not mad at that.
I think that's where he's at right now,
mentally, as opposed to winning the Super Bowl.
He's probably at the point where,
let me get the most I can get from these motherfuckers,
because they don't like giving things
guaranteed money, et cetera, et cetera.
So I think he's at a point where he's saying,
I'm getting my money,
because nobody's banking on the Patriots,
whether it's Drake May point where he's saying, I'm getting my money, because nobody's banking on the Patriots, whether it's Drake, May, Drake the rapper,
whoever, they don't give a fuck about the Patriots.
I don't think nobody gives a fuck
about what the Patriots are doing to them,
possibly win the Superbowl.
Especially even in the division,
even year after year, we keep saying,
okay, look, Miami's gonna do something,
and we don't know what's gonna happen with Tua, et cetera.
And with Josh Allen doing what the fuck he's doing right now, nobody's gonna do something, and we don't know what's gonna happen with Tua, et cetera.
And with Josh Allen doing what the fuck he's doing right now,
nobody's even thinking about Buffalo
not coming in at number one.
Second threat to Buffalo to me,
in the division, probably be Miami.
The Patriots is not even on the list.
Sorry, Rob.
Yeah, I definitely.
I'm talking about my nigga Rob Kraft, I'm sorry.
Yeah, I definitely would have liked to see Digs
just either stay at Texas or go back to the Buffalo Bills.
I think with the way the Bills showed up this year,
he would have been great back there
if he could have just got over whatever
they were going through personally.
Nigga can't come back over here from Josh Allen.
No way, no, absolutely not, bro.
I'm average at 50. I'm looking great.
We made it, you know,
my only kryptonite is Patrick Mahomes if I'm Josh Allen
in the whole fucking world.
Absolutely not.
Don't thank you.
That's valid.
Okay, Arabia, it was a pleasure to have you.
Arabia, thank you for coming on again, man.
And thank you for the flag.
Yeah, I'll have a different one next time. Yeah, and thank you so much for making these analogies, man. And thank you for the flag. Yeah, I'll have a different one next time.
Yeah, and thank you so much for making these analogies, man,
because now I know Uber from a layover from Amtrak
and everything else.
I don't know if JD5 is private.
I don't know, what you calling him,
first class or private?
Yeah, he the PJ. Yeah.
Oh my God.
One season, niggas, it's PJ.
One season now, niggas.
It's crazy, man. That's wild.
I give them first class, but goddamn, private is crazy.
Hilarious.
In the comments, let us know what you guys think.
Should Doc Rivers get more credit? We will discuss after the break. In the comments, let us know what you guys think.
Should Doc Rivers get more credit?
We will discuss after the break. She call this thing a boss toxic Four years and counting
Got you feeling like a option Maybe I'm her own problem, babe
She tired of hearing I don't know My stubborn in me won't fall Welcome back.
So Doc Rivers is the only coach in NBA history to blow multiple three and one playoff series leads,
but he argued he hasn't gotten enough credit for holding a lead in the first
place. He said, no one tells a real story and I'm fine with that.
It's unfair in some ways. I don't get enough credit for getting the three wins.
I get credit for losing. I always say, what if we had lost to Houston in six?
No one cares.
One of the things that I'm proud of is we've never been swept.
All the coaches have been swept in the playoffs. My teams achieve. A lot of them overachieve and I'm very proud of that.
Mase, thoughts on his take.
That's something to be proud of.
Doc gotta chill out. Doc is a good coach.
I'm not taking anything away from Doc, but the last year when he took over the
Milwaukee team, he finessed the team from Adrian Griffin. I'm still not over it. Every time I look
at it, I look at it like he hijacked the team and he got a win. I don't want to hear none of this
new age stuff, this statue come up with. He's the first coach to win on the
Thursday, Sunday and in January. I'm not going with any of that.
I want to see Doc Rivers win a championship with the Milwaukee
Bucks or at least just come out of the East pause for real
because who is that? Damon Lillard. He got Damon Lillard
playing some of the worst basketball
I ever seen from Damon.
Now I don't like that, I know.
But I'm saying before he got hurt,
he was playing pretty cool,
but it seemed like Damon got on the grind.
It ain't Portland, Damon.
Yeah, it ain't Portland, it ain't logo, Damon.
You know what I'm saying?
And I credit that to the coach.
Like when a player start playing good,
it's because of the coaches,
the positions he put them in.
Real quick to that point,
hoping Dame has a speedy recovery
because he is out indefinitely with a blood clot
in his calf just for those watching the show.
I wanna see Dame ball out, you know, for real.
Pause it.
Dame is a great friend of the show
and you know, he's one of those
players you want to see him catch fire and go crazy because he come with the
antics he's gonna he's gonna be showtime and it just seemed like Doc took that
away.
I'm not going. I'm not going to the pity party Doc. I'm not showing up. You're trying to
throw a pity party and I'm actually not showing up. You're trying to throw a pity party
and I'm actually not going.
Whoever wants to go to Doc Rivers' pity party,
let me know how I went because I refuse to go.
Doc, you know, the reason they bring this up
is because niggas don't blow poor's three one leads.
Doc, listen to how crazy this is.
Doc be a three one, then lose, listen to what I'm crazy to say. Doc be a three one.
Then lose the series and be like, niggas ain't give me credit for the three.
James said we won, I get more, we ain't get swept.
Doc, you don't get credit for that.
You know other people, you know what you sound like?
And it's not even as, and they're actually better
than what you did.
It's the Buffalo Bills in the 90s with Jim Kelly
when they went to four straight Super Bowls.
Congrats, but you didn't get the job done.
Doc, I'm not showing up.
I kind of fuck with you here and there too, boys.
But I'm not going to your pity, boy.
I don't believe you saying,
nigga ain't give me credit for the three wins.
Are you crazy, bro?
What are you talking about?
Oh, you ain't getting all this time this early, bro.
Because this shit sounds crazy with your saying, bro.
It sounds crazy.
Secondly, let's be realistic.
You got one championship, one.
You know who you got championship with?
Kevin Garnett.
Primetime Kevin Garnett. Primetime Kevin Garnett.
Yeah, Paul Pierce.
Primetime Paul Pierce.
Primetime Ray Allen.
Young Fresh Rondo up and coming.
Yo bro, hello?
It isn't like you did it with scraps.
You did it with some fucking legends, B.
And then the problem is you only got one. You're like Kobe and Pal Gasol come
and take the other ones from you.
What the fuck, nigga?
Nigga.
You know we can see you, right?
That's what I'm saying.
Nigga do something.
Yo, you know we can see you, right?
What are you talking about, bro?
This is wild.
You got one chip.
Then on top of that, I've never seen it in my life.
In my life.
I don't know what Danny Ainge,
you gotta ask Danny Ainge about this shit.
You got traded, you was a coach.
Yeah, he did.
Who traded?
He did bring the swag to the black coaches though, Killer.
Bro, bro.
The black hairspray, he did a lot for the coaches.
Bro, I've never seen a coach get traded, brother.
Maybe you got me by a year, a little couple of months.
Have you seen a coach get traded?
I've never seen a coach get traded in my life.
Like yo, you can tell, you want Doc?
They want Doc, what you mean we want Doc?
Nah, you know, Doc Hall of Fame.
You know what I mean?
Throw him in there.
We throw him in there.
He's a package dip.
Doc, bro, you gotta get your name back by winning a chip.
That's the only way you getting your name back, bro.
And look, we not gonna sit back like this niggas
who got one chip as coaches or players for that matter.
Look, you was a decent player, too.
You was like exit.
You was like, not exit, pardon me, you was like road 17
on a commercial flight of Arabia as a player.
You was like that. You were pretty decent.
But as a coach, I think you did a better job as a coach of the player.
And I say, and all those side, you as a decent player. But that one a better job as a coach of the player than I said. And Ojo Sayu's a decent player.
But that one championship with them niggas on the team,
congratulations, but you act like you did it with scraps
and you can't be acting like three one leads
being blown, pause, and nothing to sneeze at.
Yes they are, bro, yes they are.
You gotta get your name back, but I wanted to talk.
I wanted to hear that.
You did have Donald Sterling though, mess him up.
Donald Sterling, once that came out,
murdered Donald Sterling was at the Clippers
for 62 minutes after that.
I'm exaggerating of course, but it was about two weeks.
They got, Adam Silver got Donald Sterling out there.
Realistically, once that shit got public,
probably about four days, five days maybe.
I don't know man, whatever.
I'm just saying nigga you gotta trade it.
And you gotta win.
Not only that, this particular situation that you in
with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Nigga, I don't know what happened
and that's something that we probably would have to ask
Giannis if he ever wanted to talk about it.
That coach was winning, that Mase just said.
It wasn't like they were losing,
they was actually winning.
Bring you in, all of a sudden,
you're the coach for the All-Star game,
they pulled some finagle shit for you,
and you're not producing.
That's just that.
That's that.
Okay, so tonight, the Bucks will play the Nuggets.
Underdog has Giannis at 51 and a half points,
rebounds and assists.
Do you have a higher or lower Mace?
Lower. Okay. Lower. Okay, Brooke Lopez is at three and a half points, rebounds and assists. Do you have them higher or lower Mace? Lower.
Okay.
Lower.
Okay, Brooke Lopez is at three and a half
first quarter points.
Do you have them higher or lower, Cam?
Lower.
Yeah, lower.
Bam, and Jamal Murray is at 24 and a half points.
Do you have them higher or lower, Mace?
Higher.
Jamal is not gonna play with the Bucks,
especially if they don't have Damon Lillard,
it's going to be a wrap.
Jamal Murray has been really inconsistent
this whole season.
He could go for 30, he could go for 12,
he might not be playing.
We all know that a healthy Jamal Murray
is a fucking problem.
That is not a question.
How healthy is he is the question.
So I see him be at least at 85% with the playoffs coming up.
I'm gonna have to say lower right now.
Okay.
Make sure you guys download the underdog app
and you can make your picks too.
So Jimmy Butler had his revenge game against the Heat,
but they didn't really get revenge because the Warriors lost
the Heat 112 to 86 even during Jimmy's tribute video.
Some Heat fans were cheering. some were also booing.
Of course, there's still a lot of tension
between Jimmy and the Heat.
But Mace, how do you feel about the Warriors
losing that game?
I mean, I didn't expect them to beat,
I didn't expect them to beat the Heat.
Remember I told you I could see that,
what's his name, Wiggins was gonna go off. I look at it like a revenge game,
but it seemed like he had something to prove as well.
So when you're looking at a team like this,
you're not, I just didn't expect them to win,
especially without Steph and Curry.
You're not supposed to beat them.
Yeah, that's the main thing, Stephen and play.
And we can tell that it's Stephen and play.
As much credit as I've been giving Jimmy Butler,
the last, I always give Jimmy Butler credit,
but last few weeks for what he's been doing
with Golden State has been amazing.
This was the game actually to say,
because I talked about it yesterday or the day before,
I can't remember what day it was,
but I actually said that this is the person
that could get a bucket when the Warriors need a bucket.
I didn't think that Andrew Wiggins could possibly do that.
And to be honest with you, listen,
we all know what the fuck is going on here.
You know who's in the building.
Big Pat, Raleigh.
Don't play with me, fellas.
Don't make me look stupid out here.
You know what time it is.
I'll fuck one of y'all niggas up
if y'all niggas make me look crazy with this nigga.
And stuff ain't playing, no excuses.
It wasn't a big game from Jimmy Butler, to be honest with you.
It wasn't a big game from Andrew Wiggins.
Either one of them really went off like that.
I believe Andrew Wiggins had 10, Jimmy Butler had 11.
But it's more impressive that the Heat won in this fashion.
Steph Curry isn't playing,
but Golden State shouldn't have lost by this many points.
So kudos to the Heat.
But you know upstairs watching, big brother Pat.
Yeah, that's exactly what happened.
If the Heat lost that game, yeah,
he would have fussed them out, and rightfully so.
To that point though, it is kind of interesting
seeing the Warriors' gameplay,
because they did lose to the Heat
and they lost to the Hawks.
We know that Steph is out,
and we know that Steph is that core,
but I'm interested to see kind of how the games go along
for them while Steph is still out because they they ain't looking too hot
They look too good. I ain't gonna lie. So hopefully they figure something out because they're gonna need to fix that for sure
But with that being said that's all the time that we have for today
Thank y'all for watching and as always it is what it is.
