Okay.
I hear you in the portal again, I see.
Oh, you in the portal.
Yeah, that's old news, man.
Oh, my goodness.
This nigga is not quarter zip no more.
Now you guys.
That's last year's news, man.
Yeah, you see Cam is in the spa right now.
spa right now they didn't put him out i'm in the morning
spa i like i can't bother me man i'm not gonna let you and stat get to me man i'm in the morning
spa man that's the vibe for 2026 unbothered yeah mo you in the border though mals
i told you that was 2025 news man
year.
Yeah, I definitely last year, you know.
You know, Mo.
You know, Mo, all you got to do is, listen, all you got to do is some people.
It's a few places you ain't going, man.
Like me, I'm not going back and forth.
I'm not going out my way.
There's a few places I'm just not going.
Tell them.
Don't let them pull you into that.
It's too early in the year for that, Mo.
I'm gonna listen to Cam.
I'm gonna take your wise advice, man.
Yeah, I'm gonna send you a list of places we ain't going, man.
Yeah, I like that.
Back and forth.
We're not going back and forth.
Yeah.
We're not going a few places.
Mo, they didn't beat the quarter zip all for you.
What's going on?
I told you, hey, since I put that quarter zip all,
God wasn't blessing me, man.
He said, hey, man, you started the season off right
with the suits and ties as soon as you went back.
You got to go back to Wyoming, Mom.
Yeah, all over and upward.
I won't tell you this, though, man.
I was like, you know, I ain't used to lose it.
So when you lose, like, you just start having, like,
loser thoughts, loser conversation.
Loser conversations.
I was like, man, I'm not used to this shit.
You know what I'm saying?
You know, they get to justify why they lost.
You get to thinking about all the shit that went wrong.
So my Yukon Husky is number four right now.
So we got to go ahead and went out, get to the tournament,
go ahead and get a syring.
Then I have more to say then.
So it's basketball.
See, that I can say that.
Yeah.
Me and Stad looked at each other at the same exact time.
I said I'm going back to Yukon.
I mean, he never left, but, you know,
I see where this is going.
I see where everybody stands.
I understand.
I know you have a lot to say.
I knew you have a lot to say.
Honestly, my year is off to a great start.
And I think it'll be a great start for all of us.
You know, everybody's like fresh, rejuvenated.
We're back.
I mean, I'm just on a high note.
But it's okay.
Like, you know, we're all going to be there.
Like you said, I'm not used to losing.
You're still not a loser.
You're still a winner regardless.
It's just a little hiccup.
You're not calling him a loser.
I would never call Maurice a loser.
That's not even in his
vocab, not even in his,
nothing.
There we go.
None of that.
There's no other phones
on the charger.
Yeah.
I appreciate that stat.
I don't really do.
Of course.
That's just a little hiccup.
But 2026, we up, okay?
That's all it is.
All of us are up.
Yeah, I got a game on Friday.
I don't know if he's in the portal,
but I got the game on Friday.
What game you got on Friday?
What game you got on Friday?
The Doug.
bucks the mighty duck bucks you know this i hope y'all ain't forgetting you know we got a game on
friday baby see this is this is how it's started the real game let's get into also the other
real games yeah yeah enjoy the games to cover glad to see everybody back and healthy and great
it's great to see everybody so it was a win and get in situation and the Steelers won the
AFC North and sent the Ravens home by beating them 26 to 24, obviously a crazy game.
Maurice, what did you think of the outcome?
I was surprised.
You know, I've never thought in a million years that Aaron Rogers would come to the Steelers,
and they would put together the season that they had.
You know, I thought the Stilers was, you know, hanging on for dear life.
I knew Lamar Jackson had went down mid-season.
I knew Joe Burroughs and division had, you know, had a funky start.
you know, Cleveland is still Cleveland, but I didn't see Pittsburgh doing this, but like any and
everybody, you know, it seems like, and I notice the storyline of the whole entire game that
the kickers end up, you know, messing the game up, you know, saying, you can go back a few years
with Tate Flowers and, you know, the tight end dude from a few years back where he was fumbling
the rock, but never in a million years that I see Aaron Rogers getting this done.
And inevitably, I'm pretty sure we'll get into that topic, but they got rid of John Harbaugh.
So some surprise and some turmoil, you know, in Baltimore.
But I was surprised that Aaron Rogers got it done, to be honest.
Okay, Mace.
Well, I mean, for me, I'm not really surprised, actually.
I knew Aaron Rogers.
We knew Aaron Rogers had this.
And then we paused.
We just didn't know if he was going to pull it off that day.
You know, when you get up in age, it just seemed like any Sunday, Father Tom could step in.
and claim your entire season,
and it just seemed like the football guards was on their side.
I mean, you know, you get the guy that, you know, Tyler Loop.
That's all I could just think about was, why would you miss this?
If anything, this is the time you're supposed to show up?
This is the, this is how you earn your money.
He only makes a million dollars or so a year.
Not only, but this is what they're paying you the money for.
You're not tackling people.
you're not running any special plays this is the only thing you're on the floor for and he just
didn't get it done and I could just see Lamar Jackson face I could see Harbaugh walking off and
they just know that it's one of those losses when you lose you know this whole organization
is going to change they have such our hopes in the beginning of this year 18 years down the
drain with that coach I mean it's just a sad
sad day in Baltimore, and I love Baltimore.
Okay, Cam.
That's that good.
Oh, now it's me. Go ahead.
I was just waiting for this day.
It's a lovely day.
First of all, can I just say?
Yeah, Cam was saying that Lamar was coming back to still yard season.
I mean, that wasn't a far-off prediction, right?
Lamar is still a great quarterback, but we,
just outperformed them.
Like, we won the game and that's what happens.
I, okay, the Steelers win this game and everybody's saying,
oh, it's luck.
Like, they all just got a lucky game, this, that, and this.
Like, there was a lot of situations that I feel like even just us not having our top
wide receiver, we didn't have DK Metcalf, we threw a lot of passes, even to like our
running backs alone.
Like, I just feel like the Steelers did really good against the team that people thought was going
to beat us.
That's just that.
That's what happens in football on any given Sunday.
day anything can happen. So the whole luck thing is just like the Steelers was the
better team. I obviously had faith in my team. Yes, I know I said certain things throughout
the season. That's just going to happen when you're a fan. You get frustrated. But I think
that this is a well-deserved win. I know everybody is getting on Baltimore's kicker Tyler
Loop for the miss kick, which is unfortunate. You can't have that happen in football. But also,
I don't think that he's warranted all the hate and stuff that he's getting because you have
to look throughout the game as a whole, right? Like we made decisions.
they made decisions that we've seen in the end didn't benefit them or it didn't benefit us.
Mike Tomlin called a lot of plays even just earlier on.
We had a really slow offensive start.
Like, instead of kicking the ball for the fourth down, like they decided to run it.
And then that resulted in us losing less points throughout the game.
So it's just different things were happening throughout the game that, you know,
I didn't particularly agree with, but that needed to happen to result in a win.
Aaron Rogers, I think, played very well.
He did a lot of, like, risky deep passes that ended up working.
Lamar Jackson also on the Raven side, I thought that he played really well, too,
because there were some moments that we missed where we had no coverage on Zay Flowers,
and he was able to throw that deep ball, and then that resulted in them getting a touchdown.
So it's just a lot of back and forth, but that's what makes football entertaining.
You're not supposed to be able to predict the team that's going to win every single time.
You're not supposed to have guessed what was supposed to happen, and it's not supposed to be like,
oh like this is what we know like you don't know like that's what football is like watching throughout
the season we didn't think that the chiefs weren't going to be in the play like so many things
happened throughout the season that you can't predict and i think that's the fun in it so i just
think that people need to stop saying it's luck give us our win because that's the win that we
deserved and we move forward we're going to move on to play against the texans hopefully win that too
and that's that the only thing i regret this season is not making a personal bet with y'all because y'all
lower down my neck all season.
Talk about, Stillers ain't fin to go do this.
And when Lamar comes back, this is gonna happen.
And who, woo, woo, woo, woo, like.
That is not over yet, though, stat.
It's over for you?
It's no, it's not actually.
It's over for you.
No, it's not actually.
I got family in the football league.
Nice, just so you know, nobody pays you anymore
when they say you say it's not over.
Everybody knows it's over for you.
When the Kansas City went down, it's over.
You can sit there and say, Doug,
but you're the only one going with this.
Nobody else paid that anymore.
We're not laughing with you, Murda.
I'm just trying to tell you you a man.
I'm just telling you this group texts about this in the streets.
Not even amongst us is in the streets, brother.
They know it's over, man.
Nobody's gone with the streets no more, you know?
The streets is a lot.
Down in Atlanta, nobody goes with the street.
All I'm gonna say is, you can finish.
No, I just love that you gave me my moment.
I love this for us.
Papa stat is real ecstatic and so is all of Steelers Nation.
And we deserve this.
And we're gonna keep proving people wrong as long as we can.
No, this is like, I just like, all season.
Like you see how I came in cool and calm?
Like I'm not really the type of person to like do too much.
I don't really talk my shit, but it's just like, this was, this was,
This was time.
You can get on me about my pink, terrible towel.
I don't care, okay?
I don't, I don't care.
If I wanna wear my gear,
if I wanna wear my pink terrible towel,
if I wanna do all the things, I can do that
because I deserve this, because this is the new year.
And we're the only team that's here,
because none of y'all's is, okay?
So I could talk a little shit,
because I don't get to do that,
and I didn't do that because I was gonna wait
for the outcome, and what matters is the outcome,
and we see what happened.
And that's all I care about right now.
She can't prepare it.
So thank you.
Okay, stat.
I didn't see about a little moment.
I'm struggling.
Okay, Staddyo.
And that's it.
That's all.
Okay.
That's all.
That's all.
Go crazy.
So I'm feeling real good.
Thanks for asking.
And hopefully we beat the Texans.
I'm just going to keep it cute.
I'm collecting.
We'll see what happens.
You think you're going to be the Texans, though?
I think that we think at this point,
anything can happen, I do think that we have a good shot,
a good shot, especially when DK Metcalf gets back
because that's what we were kind of lacking
wide receiver options,
because both of our wide receivers are over 30,
not saying that you can't be a great wide receiver
over 30 because you can, but it's not like we have,
like I always say the crim de la cram,
we don't have like the best in that.
So we're gonna see what we continue to do.
But shout out, I'm feeling.
You can put a bet on it.
No, I should have bet it last year.
It's actually, it's actually my go.
Last year.
It's actually my go.
Thanks for letting me have my take, Cam.
Go ahead.
No, you got to take whatever you want.
Everybody's take was terrible.
I'll just listen.
Everybody's last, every one of y'all take was terrible.
Mo, told me, you didn't know they was going to rally to have this season.
They had the same season last season.
They made to the playoffs.
Mike Tomlin making it to 500 is the season.
This is the season they had last year.
They went to playoffs last year.
This isn't nothing that they didn't do last year.
So, Mo, you could get it.
get out of here with that mace good the bug ducks you already saw we already know
i had a game on friday that's crazy that's crazy killer i see a oregon had in two years
oh anyway the Steelers did not win the game Baltimore lost the game that's the difference
you sit there and act like the kick is not poor now what i will say is this now i will say it
this. Look, it was luck, but I said this on the previous show. I don't remember
what showing is. Luck is the residue of design. Sometimes you got to get lucky in sports.
You can sit there and do all the training. You want to Dodgers football, period, in sports.
Training, working out, and it boils down to a shot sometime. It boils down to a pass.
And this boiled down to a kick. Now, what I will say is this about that game.
You can't really, you can offset it with the kickers, right?
because Pittsburgh went down and scored a touchdown,
and Pittsburgh kicker missed the extra point.
So you guys think they'd be like,
wow, I kick a missed the extra point.
They kicker missed the field goals.
But the only reason I'm mad about this,
you know, you need one of these, my team,
that the kicker made me mess up a prediction from 10 weeks before
I actually predicted this would happen.
So I'm not shouldn't bring in on the Pittsburgh Steelers parade,
And I understand when you're coming from, motherfucking, uh, Stats dad, Papa Statt.
Text me three seconds after the team after the game and said, I told you, we God's team.
I'm like, oh, credit saying, you, credits didn't even roll yet.
I looked at my text, this Papa Statt.
I told you, nigga, we God's team.
I said, ah, congratulations, man.
But it does take some luck to win.
And listen, Pittsburgh made more plays towards that.
And that was, first of all, that was a phenomenal game, great defensive game.
And then the fourth quarter, two league MVPs.
You've seen why both of these quarterbacks have been, I have six MVP's between both of them.
You know, Ann Rogers has four.
Lamar Jackson has two.
And you've seen the quality quarterback play in the last 10 minutes of that game.
It was an outstanding last 10 minutes of the game.
And this is the reason why you go out and get to Aaron Rogers
for situations like this.
It was times during that game when I'm like, yo, Aaron Rogers got,
I know they was, so they was having problems for people that don't know.
Aaron Rogers was calling timeouts.
And you know those timeouts are really valuable a lot of the time towards the end of the game,
but he was calling timeouts in the towards early in the fourth quarter,
called a couple, and then believe it for early in the third quarter.
And I'm like, yo, he's wasting time outs.
and it wasn't the coach's timeout
they're having problems with the headphones
and his helmet and I was like
yo this thing got a lot of nerve
just wasting timeouts like this
and this may boil down the timeouts
but Aaron's Rogers' experience
is why he caught that he knew that those
plays needed to happen that was a big problem
that he had leaving
Green Bay because he felt
he had more football knowledge than that coach
you know the floor was there he's younger
than Aaron Rogers if I'm not
mistake, and the coach to him in the age, and he was like,
nigga, I've been out here doing this. You don't
have that much more experience to me, even
though you've had coach. Same thing I think
happened with the Jets organization. He's
like, I'm not the coach, but I'm the
quarterback. I'm kind of the coach on the field
and that led the whole coach is getting fired,
bringing in his own players, things
to work out. So people kind of looked at
Rogers as a diva. He wants
to call the shots, and you go there with a
Mike Tomlin where Mike Tomlin may
give you some rope to
do your thing, but
he's ultimately the head coach.
He's not going to let you just overpower what he says,
but he'll give you the respect that you deserve being Richard Aaron Rogers.
And I think that that was a great victory for the Steelers, man.
It was a great game to watch.
I know I watched the highlights three or four times in just the fourth quarter.
So congratulations to the Steelers,
and we'll see what happens moving forward.
What I will say, lastly, in my last take is this.
I mean, in my last part of my take is this.
Sometimes, and I'm not condoning what this person did or not, you got to let people have
their habits if it's going to work out to your benefit.
When I say this is this, I don't know if what he was doing, if what he was doing was illegal,
shame on him, forgive me for what I'm about to say.
But if it was condoned for Justin Tucker to get them hand jobs and they wasn't illegal, let
the man get the hand jobs this course you a trip to the playoffs playing with a rookie kicker
because you got one of the best kickers in history i'm not saying he's he's at him uh my
nigger from the page he's um veneteria i'm not calling him venetari yeah but he's the best in
this ever the man was getting a few hand jobs y'all want to suspend him for 10 games and then y'all
want to cut them. Now you're dealing with a rookie kicker, scared to death. And I told
niggas before, peoples are depending on the niggas foot. Cities, counties, states are
dependent on the niggins' foot. And because a nigger wanted to get a few hand jobs,
y'all put them on a 10 game suspension. Ultimately, you cut them. Probably the best kicker
at this generation. If he went down, if it was illegal and girls was getting harassed, pardon me. I'm sorry.
but if the hand jobs were legal where he was at
let him get his hand jobs bro
this is why y'all not in the players right now
trying to kick it with a rookie quarterback
and then John Harbaugh a reason why
you know I'm pretty sure we'll get into this
you come from a special team's background
the Ravens took a chance on you
with no head coaching experience
coming from special teams
you gotta win special teams bro
that's where you come from
you can't put the game
on the foot
of a rookie quarterback. I mean, pardon me, a rookie kicker. Let Justin Tucker get his hands on as I'll be in the
playoffs right now. Playoff spot sacrifice. There was also a coaching spot. So after 18 seasons and
won Super Bowl, Baltimore fired John Harbaugh. So Maurice, do you think Harbaugh was the problem in
Baltimore? And then did you see this coming? One, I didn't see it coming. I really didn't think that
they would let him go, but ultimately, he is the person, right?
He's the one who probably brought in Derek Henry.
He was the one who probably assembled these pieces and said,
you know, if you give me these other guys, I'll make it happen.
And, you know, first year things don't happen.
You can kind of give an excuse that, hey, let me settle in, let these guys get some
experience playing with each other, you know, so on and so forth.
And then after it doesn't happen a second year, like anything else, you know, before
Mike Tomlin, you know, went out here and got this five, before he wouldn't
500 won a division. They were talking about Mike Tomlin being going and basically somebody being
in an organization so long and something isn't changing. I also think that people realize that
the window with Lamar Jackson is short. You know, it's like, hey, he's in his prime. Can I bring
somebody in here to take these same assets and to basically do something different with the team?
And so it's only so long before you keep on getting to the same spot with the same person,
And you'll try to make excuses because you have a relationship with them.
But eventually he said, hey, man, I got to figure out how to do this thing differently with some other people.
And when you see in all these coaches being in college and the NFL getting shuffled around,
you just say, hey, man, do I need some new life, new blood, and a new storyline to engage the fans?
So I didn't see it.
I didn't see the move happening.
But, you know, if you don't win and you don't get further than what you've been going, this is what happens.
Yeah, I agree with you, Mo.
I think there's a lot to say right here when they come to John, how you say his name? Harbaugh.
John Harbaugh.
Yeah, John Harbaugh.
When you think of his pedigree and what he come from, even though he's the winning his coach in the Ravens history, right?
You got to look at it like this.
When somebody is great, it's nothing wrong with holding great people to a great standard, right?
And when they stop getting up to that great standard, you got to let them go.
because they still got great expectations.
And all of us know how this is.
When somebody, their status is so high, they want a whole lot.
But they're no longer producing it.
And this is his third season.
I believe this is the third time that he really underachieve.
And his whole time that he's been with the Ravens.
And like you said, once this happened, the second time it happened,
the third time it happened, you're out of here.
We don't have time to wait on that.
Because, like you said, when these things go bad, you need somebody to blame.
You're not going to blame Lamar Jackson, so the next person to blame is the coach.
And he just had to go.
And like I said, there's nothing wrong with holding great people to great standards.
I think we got to stop looking at people that hold great people to great standards as hate.
It was this time to go.
They're not going to win with him as the coach.
Yeah.
Yeah, he's been there 18 seasons.
I had three losing seasons and 18 seasons.
So they have 15 winning seasons, one Super Bowl.
And the reason I believe he went this year is because coming into the season,
Baltimore was predicted to win the Super Bowl this season.
But the business is the business.
You know, sometimes you need a new voice in there.
Sometimes you need a new face in there.
I don't think it's nothing.
to do with his coaching. You have to think about
their circumstances, right? Think
about how crazy is this. John
Hallbart, I don't think it was just him being
fired. I think it was mutual, even though they used
the word fired. But he
gets fired, but the niggas
from the Jets is safe.
The nigger from the Jets ain't have
an interception on his.
Yo, this is the first time in history
that a team didn't have an interception all year.
The nitty didn't have an interception.
But he's safe
What the fuck you need?
The black, nigga, I ain't even
I don't memorize his name, Molley.
Do y'all get an interception for me to start?
Aaron Glenn?
I mean, I got an interception for me
to me, motherfucking dog's name.
You don't get an interception all season?
And your job is safe?
Nah, come on, man.
I'm not saying I'm a big Kevin's
to Fransky fan and none of that.
I don't like the way the whole situation
was handled in both.
and with the Browns, your team won.
But you got the leading,
you put together the best season for Miles Gabbard
to become the leading sack,
whatever, you know,
to break the record for the sack record
paused this year.
You know, I'm not saying their record was great,
but they just beat Pittsburgh last week
to fucking make this game
into a game for the Ravens.
If Pittsburgh wins that game against Cleveland last week,
they don't even worry about the Ravens
in that grand finale game
we got, which I'm glad that they did lose
because that great game was great.
It's a line that's been fired
that undercheved way less than a Harbaugh
this. And then you're thinking about this.
Lamar Jackson basically played
this whole season hurt.
Even though he missed three, four games,
we know he was hurt.
We see he couldn't run.
We seen an explosive that wasn't there.
But he kept coming back trying to play
because, like I made me take, even though my take
ended up being wrong, he said,
still win this division, even if they're down three, four games.
So at the end of the day, it shocked me very much so.
And to the point to where how good of a coach, John Harbar is,
that it's six job openings right now in the NFL.
And then the first 45 minutes of him being fired,
he had eight, he had seven, we've just been reported lately, last report.
Eight teams interested in him.
So let's just do the math, right?
We can't count Baltimore because Baltimore is one of the teams this opening, right?
This open.
And that's a sexy job for somebody to walk in, too.
You know, you got Derek Henry, you got Lamar Jackson, you got decent receivers A. Flowers.
And listen, you got a good team over there.
That's a sexy job, too.
But John Harbaugh was offered seven by seven teams, one of him in the first 45 minutes.
when it's only five other coaching jobs available.
So that goes to show that two teams minimum
will get rid of the coach that they have right now
to take John Harbaugh.
That's one of them joys, like,
if you want to come over here, we'll get rid of this, nigga.
Just give us a word.
What can this nigga right now, nigga?
You like here?
That's how good of a coach that he is.
Secondly, let's think about this, right?
you think about the time that Lamar Jackson is there with Jar Harbaugh.
And a lot of people go to this.
They only won three playoff games when Jar Harbaugh and Lamar Jackson.
They only won three playoffs games.
When you have, of course, you go to the highest of the high, Pachamom, 17 playoff wins.
Then you go, let's say somebody, Josh Allen, who has seven playoffs wins, right?
So let's just use that gap because Josh Allen hasn't been to,
Super Bowl yet either, but let's use that margin. Seven, seven, seven playoff wins,
Lamar Jackson, three playoff wins. Two years ago, Zay Flowers, fumbles in the fourth quarter
in the end zone for potentially Buffalo, pardon me, for potentially Baltimore to go to the next
round. So that's a playoff win on Zay Flowers. Last year, on the two-point conversion,
Lamar Jackson places the ball in the end zone and Mark Andrews hands.
he drops the ball for them to go to the next round of the playoffs.
This year, the kicker misses the 44-yard field goal.
Not to mention, if you go back and watch that play,
I'm not making no excuses.
Like I said, I didn't hear the rain on Pittsburgh Parade.
You go back and watch that play.
The linebacker jumps over the line of scrimmage,
uses Baltimore's players leverage to go over to try and block the field goal.
That's a 15-yard penalty.
that they didn't call, which would have made that a 22 chip shot.
They don't call that.
Homeway misses the 44-yard field goal.
So now you got three playoff wins that have nothing to do with Jar Harbaugh.
He put his playing team in position to win or Lamar Jackson.
But those are the names that are going to get blamed.
That's just the way it goes.
But I do think that they did need a new voice in Baltimore.
It was just time.
But John Harbaugh have a job tonight if he won't have a job tonight.
but a lot of times we put this
you know to somebody
may say the best you got to find somebody to blame
but flowers tumbling in the end zone
the fourth part of Mark Andrews dropping
the ball the kick of not making an extra
play. That's a minimum three playoff
games now you're only one game
behind Josh Allen
if those players don't make those
mistakes so it definitely shocked me.
Yeah that was that was really good killer
but in this game they had no fumbles
and they had no interceptions. They
defense is why he got fired. He got fired because he couldn't get the defense to be the
defense of old. The Baltimore Ravens is historically known for their defense. They've lost that
edge. And that's why he's out of the building. It's not his offense. Well, you're talking about
one game, and I think it's over a course of a season. You don't have Lamar Jackson for four games,
and you have a hurt Lamar Jackson for the whole season. That's a problem. I'm not disagreeing
with you as far as Baltimore's defense is concerned, absolutely.
The pass attack was terrible, 100% terrible.
You're right, and we know Baltimore for playing defense,
whether is Terrell Suggs, whether there's Ray Lewis in the game.
A bunch of people, you're 100% right,
but I don't think it boiled down to this one game.
I think if they won this game,
that it'll be a conversation in the way they had to be the Texans for him to keep his job.
I don't think that he's going to keep his job outside of going to a Super Bowl
with them being Super Bowl favorites.
But you're right, their defense has been lacking.
But if we're sitting there, and I know we're talking about two different sports,
if you sit in there and Michael Jordan isn't playing and you're on the Chicago Bulls,
don't get me wrong, you do good with Scottie Pippen, you do good with cool coach.
But Mike ain't there.
Mike ain't there.
I don't know what you want me to do when it comes down to one play, but you're 100% right.
Baltimore's defense has not been the defense that we know in the past.
But I think it was over course of season,
and you're right to your point, Mason,
this last game, they didn't play well defensively
towards the end of the game.
I think the beginning of the game,
both teams were playing really well defensively
because it wasn't a high-scoring game
until the fourth quarter.
But I can't argue what you're saying
that Baltimore's defense is not what it used to be.
Yeah.
I mean, and luckily for Harbaugh, like we kind of know,
he's going to keep a job
because I think he is still one of the best coaches.
But I feel like it also could have
went any other way too, because also if the Steelers lost, this probably could have been a
conversation that they could have been having about Mike Tallman because people were kind
of teeter tottering about that too. But I don't know, like, like to all you guys that's that.
Oh, go. Go ahead. No, to add on to what you were saying. They was basically saying, whoever
lose this game or just people not in general, they're like, whoever lose this game is out of here.
I'm talking about Tomlin too. Because you have to think about this. And I didn't mean to cut you
I wanted you to finish saying what you were saying, but just some more meat on the bone
poor, so to speak for people that don't know.
These are the two longest coaching jobs tenure in the last 20 years.
Mike Tomlin been with the Steelers for 19 years and John Harbaugh been with Baltimore for 18 years
and they both have one Super Bowl apiece.
Mike Tomlin difference is he doesn't have a losing season as opposed to three losing seasons
in 18 years, which I think is tremendous.
tremendous as well. But sometimes you need a new voice, but I want to bring some attention to
what you were saying. You're right. That was circulating in the air that whoever loses
who can potentially lose this job. Yeah. Lose their job. Yeah. I just think it's unfortunate,
though, because I do feel like a lot, like, I know you have to go over like the course of years,
but like a lot of this stuff wasn't Harbaugh's fault. And I don't even think a lot of this stuff
was Lamar's fault because we seen that he was injured. So it's just kind of going to be a weird
situation regardless but that is the beauty of the NFL because they do not care okay
that's what you see a lot of times real quick more I'm sorry to cut you up but you got to be
careful right to me it's a lot of jobs that's not good like just real I don't want to go
toast to Tennessee Titans I don't want to coach the laws the Las Vegas Raiders you
know the sexiest job available outside of Baltimore is the Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons, they're running back.
Bajon, nasty.
You got three nasty.
You guys like receiver.
Yeah, Bazaar Robinson.
You got Drake London.
You know, Michael Pennix is not,
he still has to prove itself,
but he looked pretty decent.
He doesn't have a winning record,
but Kirk Cousers is not a bad backup.
To me, Atlanta is a real sexy place to go.
They got a lot of key pieces in place,
and he would fit in good there.
What you don't want to happen is this, right?
That's why sometimes they're careful
careful getting rid of quarterbacks or coaches because think about this right you're new
Orleans and you're like okay our time is done with Sean Payton now look with Sean
Peyton got Denver right now the Broncos and then you look at where the New
Orleans Saints is at you're like I don't know my you're not saying that Sean Payton
made it would have kept them in playoff contention of kept the organization where it is but
you get rid of key pieces of something.
time they go over places and look great.
Sean Payton looks like a genius getting rid of Russell Wilson right now.
You know, we was talking about the race thing.
All this thing, all this thing of races, he told him that.
Nah, I wasn't about that.
It's what I need to win.
I need this nigga to win.
The Bo Knicks nigga, yeah.
Get this nigga out.
Ship them where you want.
Yeah, ship them where you're here, the bug ducks.
Get on, ship them where you want.
And I'm going to take this nigga right here, and I guarantee you we're going to do numbers.
Because Bo Nix is not having the best.
season in the world but he's doing enough in Sean Payton's and Sean Payton's
offense to make them contenders so be careful getting rid of niggins because
they got success somewhere else quicker than the organization they just left it
right and Maurice did you have a point before we go to break yeah no no the only
point I was gonna make it he he made it without Sean Payton but I was gonna
make it with Andy Reid you know sometimes people moving on to the next job
great point yeah and and
But both organizations benefited.
Yeah, that's a great point.
Yeah, they got rid of any rate.
Yeah, motherfucking.
And he had a great, great outside.
He went to the Super Bowl, but then when he was coaching the Eagles,
great career.
You get rid of him?
He made magic happen.
Three Super Bowls with another Super Bowl appearance.
It's been great for him in his second career.
I mean, in his tenure at Kansas City.
because he had a great career in Philadelphia as well,
just a better one in Kansas City.
Yeah.
Okay, in the comments down below,
let us know what y'all think about Harbaugh's firing,
but we got a whole lot more firings to discuss.
We will talk about it after the break.
Okay.
Hey, if you want to put the light on it.
DJ, the dime life brand is serious.
I love that shirt you got on.
Like this.
and your bank account is that much,
you say whatever the fucking want a second.
Rally around him with that, you know,
the picture of his daughter sitting on the lap,
the LSU player.
Will we happen as you can join us?
Man, thank you for having me.
Look, I tell you.
Hey, boy, okay, let me tell you like this.
I got too much money to be fighting.
We ain't got that number.
And we've taken that song a long time and made it our anthem.
Paul A. Jenkins.
I even put your bullshit-ass book up here on my, you know what I mean?
Welcome to start with the facts.
Welcome back.
Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day.
So on Saturday, the Panthers will play the Rams.
Underdog has Matthew Stafford at 265 and a half passing yards.
Do you have them higher or lower mace?
I'm going higher, man.
L.A.L.A. Big City of Dreams.
Okay. Cam?
Yeah, I'm going with Matt Stafford, man.
Listen, man.
That was incredible, man.
There was a lot of storylines towards the end of the football season.
And the Rams caught that L a couple weeks ago.
And I was like, damn.
To me, don't make me wrong, Matt Stafford still can win MVP,
but I think that week that they lost,
week, their 16th game, not the 17th game.
Drake May had that beautiful game
and he ran away with the MVP, man.
Even though I want Matthew Stafford to get it,
but Drake May, the last two games,
I believe it, with those two going back and forth,
and Drake May winning those games,
not only winning those games,
looking sensational in those games,
he sealed the MVP, man.
I still would vote for Stafford because of what he did throughout the season.
Not only what he did, he tried to kick him to the curb in the offseason last year,
saying he was old and everything else.
It ended up being a MVP finalist.
Sorry, it's a little long winded.
The answer is higher, though.
Okay.
Bukkah is a half a rushing and receiving touchdown.
Do you have him higher, lower cam?
Higher.
Yeah, I was.
Yeah, I got to give a shout out to my man, Mike.
Irvin man uh because when you know and you too stat because when y'all was telling me about
puka i was so caught up on damn they're going to get rid of Cooper Cup though you know what I'm
saying and I'm like yo cooper cutting and Mike Irvin made the point he was like yo listen
when you got a nigger doing everything Cooper Cuck was doing and then something and you can
get them for cheaper you got to do what you got to do and that's a big shout out to the Rams staff
scouting scouts and everything else is in practice you know we see what we see as
fans and if you're not in those locker rooms and you're not in those fields you don't know
what they're scouting i've never when they got rid of everybody for brock purdy in the
49th you're like what the fuck are they doing because they seen some shit we didn't know about
so shout to you stat for us putting out puka early shout out to mike irvin for
putting out puke early because that nigger to me uh i'm not putting them necessarily ahead of
Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson, anything like that.
But to me, he had the best season out of all of them this season.
And he's definitely a top five receiver.
But I will say this, who do Cooper Cup play for?
Seattle, they got the buy.
Best record.
Be careful.
Just never know.
Good as who can the cool is.
Seattle got the bad.
And he got Sam Donald looking good, Cooper Cup.
Higher.
Okay.
And Bryce Young is at 191 and a half passing yards than higher, lower Mace.
I'm going, I'm going higher.
I got to go higher.
I mean, nobody saw this with North Carolina.
So we got to go higher.
Just last year, they were selling tickets for 50 cents.
To turn around.
The turnaround is crazy.
Okay.
Cam.
I'm disgusted.
I'm disgusted with the whole, before I even tell you how.
that lower. I'm going lower. I'm going lower. I'm disgusted with the NFL because you know
why I'm discussed and this has been going on for years. He's been going on for years and there's nothing
nobody could do about it because it's just the way the NFL is they do they shit. It's no way in the
world. I don't care if they won a division. They should not be hosting a playoff game with an
under 500 record. You want to do you host a playoff game and these niggins finished the season.
and eight and nine then they host them a playoff game man they got i don't know how they do this
shit they need to change the format around because you win you get to play the rams are some shit
like 14 and 3 or 13 and 4 they got go on the road to play the panthers with a under 500 record
they got you know i don't like it i don't like it i'm going to lower for briggs young if they
win and ain't going because of him even though he can have a
a breakout moment. It's a lot of young quarterbacks
that can have a moment.
You got CJ Strutt to have a moment.
Sam Donald could have a moment.
Jordy loved to have a moment.
Caleb Williams got a moment.
Listen, this is your moment, y'all.
A lot of the legends of the people that you usually
there are not there. Make your mark this year,
young fellow. Because I'll tell you this
much, if you got somebody
like Aaron Rogers who makes it or
Matthew Stafford, they still going to say y'all
niggins ain't about you. Trevor Lawrence,
another one. You got a shot, young fella.
Make it happen.
Lower.
What happened?
Cam, you're not going with North Carolina.
You got too many fans in North Carolina to go against North Carolina.
Since when we've been going with North Carolina,
we just said the tickets was 50 cents.
I go with Carolina Blue.
I go with Duke.
I fuck with Duke.
Shout out the perfect pair in Greensboro.
I died.
ain't been doing the Panthers for.
Yeah, we're doing North Carolina team.
Look, but I'm here now, listen,
we not going to just do anything.
They listen, murder, they, they're in the playoffs
with me, eight and nine.
They're more mad than Baker Mayfield in the minutes.
They were eight and nine, too, though.
All of them was eight and nine.
Yeah, but you got to go with the tiebreakers.
That's why they made it, but that's my point.
I'm more mad than Baker Mayfield and the crew.
Man, come on, y'all can't get this done.
You're supposed to be in the playoffs.
Come on, man.
Come on.
They really are.
Yeah.
A lot of unfortunate situations for a lot.
I mean, even Atlanta was 8 and 9.
They could have just rolled the dice.
Somebody.
Okay.
Make sure you all down on the Underdog app and you can make your picks too.
So you got to talk about more of these firings because just a lot of people just got put out.
So Raiders fired Pete Carroll, Falcons fire Rahim Morris, Browns fire, Kevin Spanty, Cardinals,
fired Jonathan Gannon.
Maurice, do you think any of these teams got it wrong?
Do you think any of these firings was a mistake?
I would say the Raiders out of everybody.
I didn't think with everything that went on
when you just switched over from Josh McDaniels
and then you just switched over from like Antonio Pierce.
And then you bring when you bring Pete Carroll in,
somebody who's a veteran Super Bowl winning coach, you would think that he's bringing some level
of stability. But, you know, then you bring Gino Smith down and you spend the money on Gino
Smith and you draft Ashton Gentry. There's just a lot that you invests in a lot of turnover.
I don't know how that attracts somebody else. Beautiful stadium, beautiful city, beautiful practice
facility, but it just fits the narrative that they don't know what they're doing as an organization.
So that was probably the most surprising.
All the other stuff is like it goes with the game.
Hey, man, you got to win.
You got to win now.
Or we have to see something that looks promising to stick with you.
But I was most surprised with the Raiders just because of all of the recent turnover and all that mess with John Gruden and just all that mess.
But the Pete Kiro thing surprised me.
Yeah, I have to agree.
When it comes to the Las Vegas Raiders, I thought with Tom.
With this being one of the first thing that happened as Tom Brady being a part of this organization, that they would get it right.
And they would get it right from the beginning because of his football IQ.
So when you bring in somebody like Pete Carroll, especially like you said, it got Gino Smith there, he got them balling.
You know, the team is not doing well, but they don't have a lot of the pieces necessary to win a few years ago.
They got rid of a lot of the people that that was actually making.
them win. So I wouldn't I wouldn't have been expecting them to win this year. I thought
they didn't make the draft picks they should have picked. So a lot of a lot of things was
going in the wrong direction. They could have spent the money they spent on Gino somewhere
else. If they had a brought Shado over there, that's what we was all in high hopes for
when this season started. So they made a lot of the wrong moves. So this is just another
move in the wrong direction. So I say I say Pete Carroll was done.
definitely the wrong fire because he he's a guy that could turn this situation around.
I think I'm going to agree with y'all with P. Carroll. But to me, he did a three-year deal.
You got to realize that they bought him in. Not only they bought him in, they bought in the quarterback
that he wanted. He was having success with Gino Smith in Seattle. So he took him out of
see out of them and bought them there.
But I think this goes back to what Mace
said
in the previous take on this show,
a couple takes ago.
When you're held to high regard,
you have to do better.
Pete Cowell's
wearing a few coaches. I think it's three coaches,
if I'm not mistaken. It may be two or three.
That's one in a Super Bowl
and that's one
on the collegiate level. Yeah, you're right.
He's a player's coach. He's
held the high standards.
and it wasn't even like this was close.
I went to a Raiders game this season.
They were booing them not practically the whole game
from the first quarter to the fourth quarter.
And when you bring somebody with Pete Carroll's cash in,
you're saying, damn, you could at least get us to 500, Pete.
Let's end this.
No, you're right.
But this what you said.
Yeah, because murder, you just said this.
I agree with you.
Your health, the highest standards.
I just, you know, I hate to start the year off with,
I just was arguing with sin about this.
I hate to start the year off telling y'all this shit, man.
I just was telling him this shit, my nigga.
We was talking about Aaron Rogers, and he was like, you know,
yeah, nigga, y'all said he was old this, that, and third,
when he tore his Achilles.
And I'm like, yeah, he's older now than when he tore his Achilles.
You know, you're old about a minute.
I don't know what you...
You want me not to say he's older?
Nah, you said, I never said he was washed.
I said he toured his Achilles.
He wanted to bring in who he wanted to bring him to the Jets,
got a coach fired, got his receivers, and still can win.
So we're not supposed to report on that.
Yo, y'all just wait and see what happened.
No, we got a daily show, sir.
We're going to talk about what the fuck going on.
Oh, you caught the vapors.
I say, yo, my nigga, I'm not going to argue.
He told me I caught the vapors.
I did not catch the vapors, bro.
The nigga Kobe Bryant, God bless the day.
Kobe said two, three years before he retired.
He said, I will retire before I average 14, 15 points.
Yeah.
I'm just not going to be in the NBA average of 14.50.
You know, some niggas would love to average 14, 15 points in their career.
That would be an accomplishment for certain niggas.
But because it's Kobe Bryant, he knows that people hold them to high standard.
And I believe that's the case with Pete Cowell.
They like Pete.
First of all, it's two things.
You Pete Carroll, and this is the Raiders.
We got to win something, even though Raiders haven't been good for a long time.
Both of these names have great football history behind them.
Raiders as an organization and Pete Carroll as a coach.
The one that I am really surprised about them, we totally honest, which is Rahim Morris.
Now look, you finish this setting, you the Atlanta coach, you finish tied with the lead for the division.
Your starting quarterback goes there.
You don't play Kirk Cousins.
He don't get a lot of minutes.
Your GM, first of all, signed Kirk Cousins for $2 billion.
Of course, I'm exaggerating.
You give them all this money, only to draft a quarterback.
The organization is a hold-on guy together.
That's my personal opinion.
So I was surprised, even though they didn't make the playoffs,
they finished with the same record as the team that made the playoffs did.
And you don't have a consistent quarterback.
You got one of the best running backs.
You let that be shown the last three, four games of the season,
the way that nigger went on for John Robinson.
And you got three core receivers, including Drake London,
who I think is an absolute stud, pause.
So I was surprised about that more than Pete Carroll
because I'm like, God damn, you're a nigga a minute.
So it is what it is.
Dealing with injuries is well over there in Atlanta.
You still finish with the top
with the same record with the team that made it to the.
playoffs. Okay. So it seems like none of you guys are shocked by the Browns firing Kevin
Stefansky. So I just wanted to get you guys this thoughts on that. And then how do you guys
think things will go for the Browns in 2026, Maurice? Well, I was, you know, I was happy,
you know, and the Browns did it to themselves, though. They fought the entire year with
the Shador thing, just to Kevin Stafansky, Shador conversation, just like,
literally took a hole for the entire season.
And I'm pretty sure the family was surprised about that.
But like everybody else, I don't know who you bring in the Browns environment.
The Browns new hire, you know, is probably just as important as the Rangers knew hire.
You know what I mean?
So I wasn't surprised with it.
You know, if I'm in Ohio, if you're in Ohio, it's like the national conversation,
or the only conversation that people have when they have for the Browns is do my head coach,
try to sabotage Shador's opportunity to be great.
to have success on the field.
So I wasn't surprised with it, but I'm happy because we get somebody else like,
there's no way that you, the only conversation that we should be being happy about
when you have the number one defense in the NFL is Miles Sack record, right?
When you have the number one defense in the NFL, you should be saying that my team is
competing in the playoffs and so on and so forth and so.
Since I think that they missed so much on the offensive side of the ball,
they have to bring in somebody else who's offensive-minded, bringing new energy in here,
and just revitalize the organization.
Yeah, I would, I would say Harbaugh with a new young quarterback, but he can't go to Ohio.
Mo, he's not going to Ohio.
You already know that.
Nah.
He ain't coming to Ohio.
Yeah, that's off limits.
So I was excited about this fire.
I must say that.
Anybody that they could put in there that would be better than him.
I was just totally, totally blindsided that he lasted this long, right?
because all during the season, it just seemed like Mo said.
He was just there trying to make sure that the other guy, Gabriel,
we got to see that Gabriel.
Yeah, he wasn't getting it done.
And that was his second choice.
We already knew he wasn't coaching right when he put him as his second choice.
So once he made that second choice, I say, yeah, he's out of here.
So once Shador got in there and it looked like he wasn't supporting him to do well,
those are those strikes.
two or three in a row you got to get out of there nobody nobody's waiting around to see how
how how bad you do once you're going in that direction people just um predict it and they make
their decision before it get there that's good leadership what i say is this that's pretty
interesting what you guys were talking about moe jar jar harbaugh go to go to cleveland
Like, what's up?
Yeah.
I don't know.
I like that.
I like that.
With the young quarterback.
Murder, please, murder.
You just said he's not going to Ohio.
So this is why I took this thing.
You're not even with it.
I'm talking to Mo.
We're on some Ohio shit right now.
Okay.
You said he's not going.
I'm just talking.
We're on Ohio business right now.
You get a young shit door and you look at Lamar Jackson in the face twice a year.
What's up?
Oh, y'all thought I was going far.
Now, I'm there on the block.
What's up?
I see y'all niggas twice a year.
It was good.
I meet you on your block.
You meet me on mine.
I like that.
I don't know if Cleveland
have the pieces or offense that Harbaugh would like.
But they got a solid defense.
You got Mous guy.
I like that, man.
I like that.
I don't know if he would take that job.
I think Atlanta's sexier.
But that would be kind of good.
Go look the niggas in the face.
Like, yeah, it was good.
But, shit, man.
I'm just thinking about that.
What's the actual question?
I started thinking about that shit.
What's the question?
Yeah, just in general, because you guys didn't have any shock about...
You're talking about Stephensky.
Yeah.
Yeah, Sir Fancy.
Look, look, the way he handled the Shador situation is this.
This is how I think.
I think he was a puppet with no strings.
I think he was dead what he was told to do.
I think that they, you know, whether his general manager or ownership or whoever,
said, look, we're not playing them.
We're not going to do this.
you're not going to die.
So I'm saying Kevin Stephensky
ain't have a hand in it,
but I don't think it was
100% his call.
And he's one of them niggas like,
yo, listen, I'm not explaining myself.
This is who we're picking,
this, that, I can be wrong.
I have no information on this.
But I just think the way that it came off
came off snobbish
and it came off rude
and it came off his hate towards Shador.
But we don't know what was going on
in the back channel.
So he said, head coach,
well, if the gentleman's like,
no, we're going with Dylan Gabriel.
Yo, no, I don't want to go
to Shador.
yet. We don't know that.
Now, if this was solely his choice,
I understand what people's coming from.
But to me, after Joe Harbaugh,
they will be on Kevin Safanski
to get a job. He will have a, he's another
nigger that
he'll have a job this year
if he wants. That's totally up to him.
But he'll have a job.
People tend to forget yesterday.
Kevin Stafersky is a two-time
coach of the year. Coach.
He could coach football.
He just couldn't coach them niggas.
Yeah, Mo, that's your team.
You acting like, you don't know he was a two-time AP coach of the year.
With the Cleveland Browns.
That's not an easy thing to do with the Cleveland Rams.
So he will have a job.
It's just the way this whole should do shit came off.
People forget to remember what he did as a coach.
And he came to him.
He came off through.
And he was like, fuck you do.
I don't think that was solely him.
You don't become a coach of the year.
being snobbish and standoffish, et cetera.
Maybe outside of that, I don't think that is.
I think he was a puppet.
Like, you know, his camera was going out.
Maybe he wasn't telling the truth.
What do you think, Statt?
The football guards don't like that.
That do happen every time.
It happened.
Every time somebody tried to go against what I'm saying,
they might cut off.
I don't know.
Yeah.
So that was God or Nevinah.
Yeah.
an intervention i don't know i have i like i'm like obviously i'm not a browns fan but i do think
they made the right decision in firings to fancy because the way that things transpired how it looked
it just looked like there's a miscommunication a lot of disconnection it looked like there's like
something against chador because then you want to put every single quarterback in the world in
except chador then finally he goes in and then delivers how he's supposed to it looks crazy
But then moving forward, it's just like, what, because now you got to find a new coach,
and then you do have somebody like Shador, and then they're talking potentially Deshawn
Watson's going to have his return. Like, there's just a lot of things there that they need to
figure out quickly. If they had a fourth quarterback, they would have put that quarterback in.
That's what I'm saying. Like, they just did. They just ran out of pieces. And like, bold choices
make sense when they make sense. It's like you have a quarterback here who you mean,
know has potential that we've seen and you're not putting in him putting him in for why right and so
it cost you your job because you didn't want to make decisions for whatever reason i don't then again
it's like you don't even know what's happening in the front like you don't know what those
conversations are but on the outside it's just like you can't go based off what somebody's
telling you you you're you got to do what's going to translate to wins because it costs you
that's the part that doesn't make sense though like in and mo you i'm gonna be quick so you
pause you could go after this i was thinking it couldn't just be somebody pulling the strings on
him because he lost his job yeah if somebody was pulling the strings on them then they would have
kept them around like you did what i told you so i kept you around well not necessarily because if we
want to go it's not the same but if we want to go to basketball like we're like okay so like why did
you trade look good and then you lost your job like things be happening like i don't know like
things be looking real fishy no i'm saying when somebody says okay like if i'm not
the owner and I say you don't have to play him then when you don't play him then I you shouldn't get
fired because you only did what I told you doesn't matter though that's how you use people as a
scapego it's like look I got an idea we don't we don't want to put him in so you do this then he's
like okay bet like I'm gonna keep my job you need to do what makes sense on the field point point period
but Maurice that no that's good that's good that's good you got to trust you can't just you got
It is. It will be pumping on a string, like things, things be happening.
And we, we have eyes. We see it. It don't make sense.
And then when it makes sense, it's like, oh, and then it costs you your job.
That's just what happened.
It's on you, Ma. Maurice, yeah.
Yeah.
I would just ask myself in the era of social media and people running with interesting stories
that just get clicks and you start talking about stuff that just has like its own narrative
and its own entertainment.
I was asking myself, like, when Cam said it, like, what if like this wasn't even going
going on, but it was just an interesting conversation that people held on to because the Sanders brand is so big.
Like, you're getting up every day. Like, I'm pretty sure everybody dealt with it on some level where you started dealing with a conversation or entertaining something that I have nothing to do what was really going on or something.
And I just asked myself that, like, what if it was just an interesting conversation that the media ran with and you get sound bites from talking to people at the post-pressor conference and, you know, you take that and then you make a story out of it.
Um, I don't know. His take made me think that this could just be like a good story that was being had, uh, but it was a distracting story. So they got rid of him because just it distracted from everything else. And then even even to that point with stat like, that's going to be another variable. You're paying somebody $50 million next year and you have your door here and you have a new coach. So like it's just a lot going on in Cleveland. Yeah. And you got a backup that's coming back too.
And Kim, did you I think you had something out to that.
Yeah.
Yeah, you can hear me?
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
First of all, Mace, I wasn't going to get you.
This is an opinionated show.
That was your opinion.
That was my.
I wasn't going against you.
I didn't take your publishing, Mason.
I'm your friend.
Everything is in the battle.
Everything is in the back and forth.
It was your opinion.
It wasn't a right.
I didn't go.
issue. I don't know where that even came from. I was actually just giving my opinion on the
situation. It wasn't the right or wrong thing. But at the end of the day, listen, man, it wasn't
going to work out as far as, no, that's the last thing on Sapirsky was concerned. But I think
you have another job. Like I said, I think because we live in a society with short tension
span, you don't remember what somebody's good at. And this whole should do a shit,
played out. It looked like it was a soap opera
from the draft. So
I think it's time was definitely going
to be up there. Okay.
And then the last thing before we wrap, because
you know, you got to do it. And Cam told
you, Mace, they was on Ohio shit. So now
we got to get to Ohio shit because
Miami beat Ohio State
24 to 14
in the cotton bowl.
So, Maris.
Well, you were at the game. So, like, tell us about your
experience, how it was. I mean,
He didn't invite me.
So the trophy wasn't here.
You can't get the Lombard.
You're not going to have the trophy if Mace is not involved.
But go ahead, Mo, I'm out of it.
I'm out of it. Can't want me out of it.
This is what happened when I'm out of it.
I'm out of it.
It's all good.
No, I tell like this, the atmosphere from all the pregame stuff,
you know, Miami talked about they're going to get their big get back.
Oh, now, all that stuff was amazing, right?
But at the end of the day, if you've seen the game, football at the end of the day,
I don't care how many stars you got.
I don't care how many star wide receivers, quarterbacks, running backs, linebackers, whatever.
It starts and ends with the offensive line and the defensive line.
And I underestimated, like I'm sure a lot of people did, Miami's defense line.
They really took advantage of just our offensive line.
They dominated and they dominated early and often.
You know what I mean, that's essentially what happened.
And then from a defensive standpoint, back towards Miami, we didn't get pressure on the ball.
And so at the end of the day, Miami started fast.
We struggled with Rubin Bain and we struggled with the other kid, Mazador, Mazadoff,
and whatever his name is.
I apologize if I messed it up.
But that's where the gang was won and loss.
And it was like probably the second or third quarter that we started to gain some momentum.
And then it was really before the fourth quarter where we got the penalty.
the end of the third, beginning to fourth, where we had got a penalty and it seemed like things just stopped clicking for us.
But we did the same thing that the Baltimore Ravens did.
Our kicker went out and he missed a premier field goal in the Indiana game.
And still, with Miami, we missed another field gold here.
But they won fair and square.
But the coolest part at the end of the day, I'd say it just was a cool moment for me.
I've never met Mike Irv in person.
And so I didn't know how Mike was going to act after the game.
but I went to go find Mike.
It took me like 10 or 15 minutes because he was, he's an entertaining dude, as y'all know, right?
So he was walking around the stadium, but I had to go find Mike.
And to my surprise, it was just like good energy being around him.
That was probably the coolest part for me being around.
They ended up seeing Andre Johnson, Edgson James, and dapped him up and congratulate him.
But, you know, went back to the locker room.
So just like I talked shit in peace and I did my thing, I lost in peace and said, hey, y'all beat us.
I don't make excuses.
I don't get into all that.
Um, you know, you know how niggas be saying.
If we were to play them 10 times, we would have beat them nine, all that shit.
Like, we lost, nigga, except it get better move on.
So that's the camp I come from.
It's just, you know, no pun intended, but it is what it is.
Get better move on.
So he said we'd have been, we'd have played them 10 times.
Yeah, I, I, I, that's our losers talk.
Like, you know, when I, when I see, you know, and I love these guys, I love these kids,
But all that, like, if it would have been another day,
another play, another, all right, nigga, we lost.
Like you're saying, except the L and keep it moving, man.
That's my mentality towards life.
Yeah, all I want to say is that,
are you ready to put some respect on Carson name now?
I mean, yes, I'm just, I still feel how I felt.
Yeah.
I just look, a win is a win.
That's all I care about.
So if he's the one of that.
If he's the one that's gonna take us there, love that.
But I, like, I thought still stand.
I really do, but I'm happy for us.
I'm happy that we won, you know,
that's still consistent.
Maurice, glad you and Mike got to meet up.
That's super cool.
And he does always bring good energy around him.
When we went to the Miami game, people were just handing him,
their babies and he's like holding up the babies,
like Simba and like, love that.
He's great to be around, but hilarious, but yeah,
Shout out, let me tell this.
Let me tell this before we go.
I will say this, so it was after the game.
And this is, I was like, this is some wild shit.
So Mike goes to one of our players.
Mike pull out a lot of money, right?
And so, you know, after the game,
he usually do the belt-to-ass thing.
And so I'm like, conflicted.
So I'm right bottom, I'm like, yeah, Mike,
you can do this, but I ain't about to be in the video.
You know what I'm saying?
So he, yeah, like.
Mike got the belt on you.
Listen to me.
And so he said, Maurice, Maurice, right?
So, oh, man, come over to me.
He gave me a hug.
And we jumped up, right?
And so he goes to our water boy.
Nah, he goes to our water boy.
He's trying to get the water boy some money for his shirt.
And I'm looking at the water boy, like, I know you're about to do this.
I walked off.
Like, I said, come on, man, you can't sell your shirt.
Like, you know, I was salty about the laws, but I just felt conflicted about the water boy selling the shirt.
So Mike could do the, you do the thing.
I still salty about losing.
So cool.
story but I was like damn I can't really be in the video Mike I love you but I got
to go you know you said this one I got I think I think your quarterback the quarterback for us
was too young he got some time just the same I think he got Julian saying they
that's what they're saying yeah yeah he got some time and held on to the ball low too long
but uh shot to Miami they went I'm actually the only one on this show that lives in
Miami. I'm in my house in Miami there.
Oh my goodness. Why you're not doing that.
I'm going to turn the camera to the ocean. I'm the only one to live in Miami. I'm in
Miami. I'm in my name. I'll be going to see you or tomorrow.
No. Do you let me ask you sat outside of your dorm. Have you ever lived in Miami?
No. You know that. So it doesn't that. He's like, what does that have to do with your
Before I was late, I would show you the ocean.
I live on the ocean, man.
I live in Miami, man.
Mace lived in Miami.
I can't even argue with him about that.
Yeah, my social security says Florida, man.
So do you step, but I never lived in the, never lived in Miami stuff.
It's crazy.
I've never lived.
You never lived in Miami?
I never lived a lot.
I didn't get my like first, like I was in college.
No.
Oh my goodness.
So you, you can't.
I can't say that. You never had an address.
I did have an address.
I had an address. I just didn't, like, I lived on campus because I was a student, and I was a student living in Miami.
That was not like, that's not like normal things.
That's the university.
That's not your address.
That's not your address.
Okay.
Like what?
Anyway.
So on your driver's license, it said the school address?
No, it's Florida.
Like, it's Florida.
Okay.
but what address my my home address yes so it wasn't the dorm no it wasn't the dorm
she's trying to say an address in Tampa yeah like it was my home address that's what I'm
trying to say she never lived there you oh my gosh in the comments down below let me know if you need
to have the exact address to prove that you live somewhere like I wasn't there for four years
What?
Anyways, I just had to that because now it's like, oh, I live Miami.
Like, when a dorm closed, did you stay in Miami?
And it was all Ohio, everything, this and that.
And now we, yeah.
When in dorm clothes, did you stay in Miami?
I lived in Ohio, too.
I lived there.
I wasn't just hanging out.
I lived there.
I need to see people's definition.
I lived in Park Hill.
I lived in the shit called Park Hill, man.
I was in East Lane.
I could name some name Spocker.
Man Club 69. I ran that, man. Like, y'all, my, my, my, my, my, my, my'll tell you, like,
there's the real stuff. Yeah. Yeah, it's the real shit, man. Like, y'all, come on, man.
No, I'm not down to you. I believe you. I can't even drop no streets in Ohio. That's what I'm like,
y'all that y'all got it because I know I don't know.
I was, like, I was an open locker.
Opa locker.
Yeah, I mean, open locker. Shocking, my man, beach, I'm the boom.
I mean, open-locking all that dirt, hey, I'm out here.
Period.
You ever been, you know, you ever hung out of, you ever hung out of an open-lock?
I have to get food.
Yeah.
See, that's what I'm saying.
I live there.
But that is real Miami.
So, yeah.
Yeah.
Overtown, Opelaka, Carroll City.
Halleah.
It was good, everybody.
You only was only down there, Carl Gables,
Coconagos.
No, I lived in Coral Gables, but same way, like you said, Overtone, High Leia, Brickle,
like, I've been there.
I didn't live there.
I don't have to have a place of residence.
Brickle is mad commercial.
That's fine.
That's where the Torres move.
That's fine.
You know what it is?
My man, I'm just saying.
You know what it is?
Because when people talk about Miami Heat or the Miami Dolph is not you,
that people, you know, South Beach, South Beach, they never mentioned the part of, I know people
that live in Miami, they never been to the beach. They don't come over. They say, I ain't going
over there. I ain't going over there. I know people that never came over to this side.
Yeah, it's different. There's shit going on over there. Yeah. And like, fun fact, like,
to show them some love. Fun fact, because my parents, when I first went to Miami too, I was always
like searching up spots because like, I do like to eat. Like, I like a crab boil. I like some
wings or whatever. I was trying to go to different parts of Miami. My parents used to yell
me because they were like, they were looking at my location.
They were like, why are you not in Coral Gables?
And I was like, because I went to go get a plate.
And they were like, you don't need to be over there in Coconut Creek.
I'm like, why not?
I want a plate.
So I was where I was supposed to be, but that didn't mean that I didn't go places.
So yeah, shout to Miami.
Yeah, shout out to Miami.
Stop, but just for the record, you didn't live in Miami
because it wasn't on your own, your license.
That's debatable.
I will let the comments tell us what they think about that.
because I think that's very debatable.
And you didn't have an L.A. and I didn't have an L.A. ID, like, California ID.
I mean, you didn't have an address, but you had an address in L.A.
But I'm not here to argue because in 2026, I'm not going back and forth.
Full circle.
That's one of the places you ain't going.
And if y'all needed to learn anything today, that is what y'all needed to learn.
But that is all the time that we have for today.
Maris, you know, it's always a pleasure to have you on the show.
Quarter zip.
I'll see you next week.
It's over.
Yeah, that's over.
You got to send me your address.
I had a palm tree in my, in my yard for the longest.
I got to send you the palm tree.
Palm tree.
After the Christmas tree.
That's what I was supposed to send them for Christmas,
but I don't have an address.
We're speaking of addresses.
Yeah.
It was good seeing, y'all.
You have to see y'all.
He's not going back and forth.
He not.
He not.
Hey, happy to see the good energy.
Happy to see y'all smiling.
Happy to be back on the show.
Yeah.
Ain't nothing changed with him.
Nope.
Season 8 is here, y'all.
Thank y'all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
Hey!
