I'm Treasure Wilson,
aka Stat Baby,
along with your host, Cam.
Mace will be back,
and today, y'all,
we got a special guest in studio.
We got Sin City in the building.
Say straight.
All right.
I know everybody's down in here,
but it's okay.
It's all right.
When the next one, everybody's down,
I don't understand.
Didn't I just say that in the control room?
I said, look at them right now.
They ain't even smiling, talking nothing.
It's like these bitches, man.
Not you, not calling you a bitch, but it's like,
when niggas think the world revolves around now,
I ain't paying them no mind.
They think, they think the Knicks, people think about the Knicks all day long,
man.
Well, congratulations the Nix 1-8 straight, man.
Yeah, Big Perks said it might be the game of the year.
When Big Perk say something about y'all is cool
But then when he don't say something cool
He don't know what he's talking about
I don't know man shout out to pray
That's my bro, he always know what he's talking about
I'm just telling the type of people that we're dealing with
It's convenient you know
Choose things conveniently
But glad to have you
You can talk since age too
Just because we're in the studio
He wants the headphones so it makes him feel more comfortable
I don't know
It's technology
Why he has headphones
But
She likes it
If you like it, I love it.
That's all I can say.
Glad to have you on the show.
Of course, the next one, but we're not going to start with that because there are just so
many things going on right now.
So we see NBA trade deadline strikes again.
So we're going to start with Anthony Davis.
So the Mavs are sending Anthony Davis to the Wizards, along with guards Jaden Hardy,
Janjola Russell, and Dante Exhumed to the Wizards for Chris Middleton,
A.J. Johnson, Malachi Branham, and Marvin Bagley.
Two first round draft picks and three second rounders.
So, Cam, is the addition of Anthony Davis enough to change the wizard's trajectory as a franchise?
Or is this just another big name move that you feel like won't even fix their core issues?
Just another big name issue.
Like, listen, it was a time when Anthony Davis was like a top five player.
And I'm not even talking about with the Lakers.
I'm talking about the reason the Lakers even wanted him when he was with the New Orleans Pelicans.
And I'm not blaming Rich Paul or cut sports or anything like that
You know my family too
But he got his way off the team
When he told the team look we're not even playing fourth quarters anymore
Who does that?
Like when you're a superstar he'd be like
You know what I'm just playing three quarters a game
And I don't want to play the fourth quarter
Meneuve his way off of the New Orleans Pelicans
To get with the Lakers is ultimately winning the championship
A lot of people don't count the championship in the bubble
I do
It seemed like LeBron wanted to hear the keys
to him years ago.
I remember me a sin argument
because he was so mad
that after they won the chip,
after he won the chip,
I said to Anthony Davis
was the best player in the NBA.
He was furious with me.
Rage baby.
Literally, triggering.
He was that summer.
He was going crazy about it.
But all jokes aside,
he's not available.
And to be a friend,
he wasn't, you know,
The reason I bought up the Pelicans
because he's the franchise player for the Pelicans
and couldn't get done with the Pelicans
and this was a prime time, Anthony Davis.
He's not prime time anymore.
Is he good?
Yes, he's still good, but he's getting older
and he's always hurt.
Availability is the, I'm tired of,
y'all know the slogan.
I can do it like a show.
Availability?
The best.
Exactly.
It's almost like a show.
So, no, I don't think that this has changed
the franchise around.
I think that both teams are doing so poorly.
that they're making maneuvers to try and act like they're helping out each franchise.
I have to really take a look at the Wizards roster because I had the Wizards team or franchise probably for the last two, three years.
Maybe I stopped paying attention to the Wizards full time when John Wall and was my nigger Bradley Bill wasn't playing together anymore.
Even when Bradley Bill, I was sneaking and look at them from time to time.
But I can't get the, what is it, that two and a half hours back of my life watching the Wizards
or seeing what the Wizards are doing or investing my time in what's going on in the Wizards organization.
So I don't know if you can help them out.
I don't even really know what's going on in Washington.
I'd be sitting here lying to you.
I would have to do some homework.
When I seen the trade, it didn't matter me.
I didn't care.
But no, I don't think it's going to help out either one of these franchises right now.
I just really look forward to seeing Kyrie Irvin come back for the Mavericks.
according to sin, that should have been two weeks after he got his injury because of technology.
You know, sending things somebody could get injured and then be back in three weeks.
So I'm looking forward to that.
I don't know if he'll be this season, but that's the only hope I see right now for Dallas,
in addition with Cooper Flagg, what he's doing right now as a rookie and as a teenager.
Hey, Sin, how are we feeling?
AD is basically sticking the league up.
Am I right?
you think?
Y'all not going to say anything?
Well, I want to see what you're going with this.
No, you know what I'm saying, y'all up.
Because y'all contradict yourself all the time.
So is he sticking the league up?
Because he's not available, but he's still getting paid all this money?
We're sticking the league up.
Like how Ben Simmons was doing?
I wouldn't say he's Ben Simmons, but, yeah, they're getting paid when they're not playing.
For nothing.
But your slogan is if you could get away with it, right?
Yeah, that is.
it doesn't make sense.
That's the...
We're the fans.
We're the ones getting treated bad.
But the whole point is you're kind of making her slogan.
What?
He's getting away with it.
No, but she don't agree with that right now.
Oh, but you don't agree with that.
I didn't say anything, actually.
But the point...
You never want to say...
You be political, man.
I didn't say anything.
It's not right.
I hear what you said, but...
I didn't want you to finish it's not right.
But to be honest with you,
I don't really be thinking AD's faking.
Like Ben Simmons to me went through some shit.
AD, it's bad because it looked like any little thing happens to this nigga.
And it'd be like, yo, come on, man.
Nostrum, nose drip, like, everything.
You know what I'm saying?
To my AD?
Yeah.
I don't think that he'd be faking.
It's just, he's really unfortunate.
Yeah.
Recently, I just had fluid in my Achilles.
I didn't tear it, I didn't snap it, or not.
I couldn't walk.
and I was sitting there saying to myself like,
I gotta stop dissing niggas.
I said that shit to myself.
I literally was hopping on one foot
to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night
to the point where I had to get that little scooter
where you put your knee on it,
the one knee joint.
Like I was using that to go from the bedroom
to the bathroom.
That's how bad it was.
And I'm like, I'm sitting here,
my fucking complaining about niggas
and everything else.
But hey, I'm not athlete.
So, you know,
that's a little different.
But sorry, I didn't mean to cut you off.
I know you was making a statement.
But I'm sorry.
No, I was saying for a step to answer.
You know, you don't really like that, right?
If he can get away with it.
I feel like I use that in certain contexts.
But this situation is a little different because it's not if he could get away with it
because it seemed like he, from what I seen,
especially from his tweets and people saying,
and him basically clarifying that he felt like people were saying
false things about him, I think he's actually really frustrated
and wants to play.
And I don't necessarily think that he wanted to not be on the Mavs.
I just think that also kind of, to Kans point,
unfortunate situations just kind of keep happening.
I don't think it's like a, if you could get away with it,
I just think that that's just what happened.
You know they got the best doctors over there, though, right?
I mean, they have the best doctors in a lot of places in the world.
No, I'm just saying, but they're constantly under supervision of medical care.
Out here, like, your Achilles don't really count because it ain't like you always going.
Or Achilles don't count.
Man, don't count because it's not, no, let me finish.
It's not the way, it's not like you're being seen by a physical trainer or a doctor all the time.
They get seen like daily or whatever.
They actually put more strain on it because they're still working out regardless.
And that's just because you see a doctor or a physical trainer daily, they're at higher risk to hurting it.
According to you, the best doctors was back in the days.
All these doctors are stupid.
That's what you told me.
Yeah, diplomas online.
Yeah, well, I'm just talking.
You're talking.
All right, so let me ask you that.
You got a diploma?
Huh?
You got a diploma?
I got a GED.
Where you got it from?
I took the GED test.
Okay.
It wasn't on.
I had to go read and write.
I didn't take it on no computer.
Wasn't in jail lie on the streets.
Hey.
Did you get your GED?
Did you get the GED in jail or outside of jail?
Okay, I tried in jail and had to get it outside.
Okay.
What does that have to do with anything?
See, you see how you're trying to play?
No, you're right.
You thought I was going to say, I got it online.
That's what you did.
I don't get it on line.
I know that for a fact.
I'm just saying, I'm just saying what kind of teachers they got in jail?
As opposed to online.
That's what I'm saying.
I don't know if the gym is passing the test.
Passing the test, though.
Let me ask you a question.
I don't mean jump off topic being that we on jail topic.
You want to, because you cook, right?
Would you take a jail recipe?
What?
Because he's telling me about jail recipes,
the rappers be cooking when they went to jail.
Telling me how fire it is.
All right.
Do you want to cook it now?
I'm just saying, he'd be like, yo, you know.
No, hold on.
Let me ask you.
I know what you about to say.
When you cut an onion.
Okay.
No, no, listen, because this is from jail.
What is a way to not cry while you cut an onion?
Does anybody know?
Well, you probably know.
You can make it cold.
What you mean?
You can make it cold.
You can put the refrigerator.
All right.
You was halfway near.
What it is, you know, you run cold water.
Okay.
You know what I mean?
What the hell do you know how way?
right just because there's both cold cold water.
I said it was a way.
Yeah, yeah.
She didn't go to jail to figure that out.
Why are you going to jail?
Wait, hold on, I had that.
What is going on right now?
I'm getting back to the diplomas.
Yeah.
That's crazy, man.
You know, you're going to go to jail to try to deflect.
Deflect this.
I never say it's been to jail.
No, but you know what I was going to ask.
Okay, you need, you need like some real serious
surgery. Do you want the doctor, I ain't going to say Dr. Miami or whatever, but one of them new
Dr. Miami, the athletic surgery?
That's the BBO.
You know, one of them new online hot doctors that everybody's posting or whatever, or do you
want the guy that went to school and went to the library and really did research?
Which one do you want?
The one that did research.
That's what I'm saying.
He think everything is cool, get it online.
You can't go to school and get a, get a, get a,
time you've been to the library?
The library?
Not long ago.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
Let's go.
She reads.
Yeah.
I'm just asking.
You got to read to get knowledge.
You can't just look at your phone all that.
The last time you've been to library.
Oh, man.
I mean.
But you get your knowledge from.
I don't want to.
You know, I don't want to.
I don't want to do what everybody else is doing.
I really don't.
So why you don't go to a library?
It's just.
It's time.
It's time.
But I'd rather read it.
I read the coldest once ever.
I read that book.
I read DMX book.
I read the Hurricane from Jersey.
The one that Denzel played.
Where do you read these books at?
No, home.
That home.
I read that home.
In the house?
Yeah.
All right.
Wow.
Coldest once ever, I couldn't put it down.
I read that book actually in a day.
I made TV's you out of your house.
You got TV in your room?
Of course.
I'm just asking because I don't have a,
TV at my moment when I was first young, I got TV later.
I ain't know if you had to read the book because you couldn't watch what you want to watch
on TV.
No, no, no, no, no.
Yeah, DVD and VHS.
I went through all those stages.
I missed the DVDs.
So Anthony Davis is stealing money.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
That's what I was a great conversation.
I've enlightened because I always learned something that I've never learned.
But I love that we're united and cutting onions in different ways.
So, got there in this way he's back.
I actually got that from Prodigy, man.
Rest in peace, man.
He had a jail menu book.
You know what I mean?
I didn't know that you had to cut onions under cold water not to cry.
I've been crying for years, cutting onions to make tuna.
Ew.
Well, shot the Prodigy, too.
I'm a big project fair.
Not necessarily ever's cooking.
I'm not going to, you know, I didn't know Prodigy from cooking.
His lyrics around.
and Prasana, big fan.
He was cooking that way.
Walo's still making jail meals.
I said, Walo's still making jail meals.
I know Gilly'd be looking at him crazy,
but it should be good, man.
You got to bring a recipe.
I got to see it.
See, Walo, I think, was the chef, though.
The chef up north.
Sheff up north.
He probably was the chef up north.
Shout to Walo, too.
That's more like a thing.
Okay, so want to get back to just some key pieces
as part of this trade,
because I know you guys were saying like, okay,
we got to still kind of learn a little bit more
about the Wizards roster and see how that's going to go.
But just knowing Anthony Davis and just knowing Trey Young,
even though they're both injured right now,
when healthy Cam, do you think that they'll be able to cook something up
or you're kind of just not really rocking with that duo?
I think a couple years ago it might have worked.
A couple years ago, that might have been something special.
But it's just the durability of Anthony Davis.
Like, you know, when this is,
Tray happened with Luca, right?
You know, we see him
the very first game when he got to Dallas.
Then he had 30-sun and three-quarters.
I forget how much he had.
It was good.
First game, he used to get in the crowd,
hype, they was like, okay, this might be all right.
This might just be all right.
And the nigger was hurt before the game was over.
This was the very first game he got to Dallas.
And niggas was like, nah.
Fuck Niko, fuck Niko.
The whole crazy, they mad at Nico again.
But the very, you know, you got to think about this, right?
I'm just saying mental-wise.
And like I said, I'm pretty sure he wants to play because, think about this,
you're coming to a city where they basically don't want you,
no matter how good you are, because they had a superstar and Luca Dantas.
So now you have to go there to prove to yourself, nigga,
I'm going to do just as good as Luca Dantzis.
Mentally, that's what you're thinking.
And then you get hurt the first game, that got to be bad.
Then after that, you get hurt again at the season.
Now you're hurt again this season.
You ain't been there a whole year, and you've been hurt three times.
I can't.
I just can't, my nigga.
It's like a bitch who keep telling you, she's on the way,
and you keep going downstairs, and she'd be like,
I'm going to be there in a minute.
And then she'd be like, you know what?
I thought my babysitter was coming.
She never came, and then she don't show up.
There ain't got no pussy tonight.
It's just bad, Joe.
It's bad.
He can't, he's never there.
He's never there.
I like Anthony Davis, too.
I really did.
But I can't trust him.
So him and Trey Young, it might have been something a few years ago.
I can't see it.
God prove me wrong.
Okay.
And then you got any hope for the Anthony.
I like it.
Okay.
And I think, you know, in D.C.
It's a different environment.
I don't know.
Maybe sometimes the environment counts.
You never know what people is going through in certain
Like a lot of people say like
Who want to move to Milwaukee?
A person might not be happy
And he might want to move to Atlanta
And might play better there
Trey been in Atlanta all that's time
He might go off in Washington
What's the difference in environment
In Atlanta and Washington
The hose is out
In both cities
He might get tired of the same neighborhood
You might get tired of doing the same things every day
You're tired of the way you're at
And I don't think you should be tired of
You want to go to the mountain
To the top of the mountain
I say I'm tired of where I'm at
I'm just saying I want a better view
I could see
I could see everything
From the pool
I can see everything
I see what I want to see
What do you want to see so bad
I like
I like peaks and oceans
There's no ocean
Yeah
But it's a lake
That boat pull up
I can see the lake
too, and I told you I could see the lake.
Where lake?
I saw some water over there.
I took you to the lake where the new house is getting built.
That's the only water that's great.
In Nevada, well, in Vegas.
And I live on the ocean in Miami, so, and I have a view.
Well, how much water you need to see?
I've been in a huddle-in-all-a-time concrete jungle.
You had the East River?
Yeah, that should smell.
Dame said it's stink.
You said y'all over there hanging out.
That water's still.
stink?
They're still
in them
Doodoo Brown builders
with that stink
water
like he ain't lived in.
That's a wild
nigger, man.
I'll just be ambitious.
I just like more.
Can't be mad at that.
Okay.
So the Warriors, they're
trading Jonathan Kaminger and Buddy
Healed to the Hawks for Porzingus.
Cam, how do you like this
new look for the Hawks?
Are we feeling it?
I like Kaminga.
Me and Church was actually talking about this on the way in,
and we was definitely like, wouldn't have got rid of Kaminga if you're going to stay,
but the relationship is irreparable with Steve Karr and Kaminga.
And Church enlightened me, actually, because I knew Steve Kerr wasn't getting along with
Kamenga, but Church was telling, was explaining to me how Kaminga just can't stand Steve Kier anymore.
It's nothing Steve Karr could have did for Kaminga to want to fuck with him.
but I was explaining to Sin earlier
when we was talking about it
because Sun asked me
if who I'd rather have Kwamey Brown
or Kamenga.
So we just in the house talking about
and I was saying that Kamenga's 21 years old
or maybe what is he, 22, I know he's 21
and he doesn't really have any skill.
But he built on the championship team.
I'm not saying he can contribute
much on the championship team, but
just going through it,
seeing how it's done to win the championship
It just means a lot, and he has a lot of time to get skill.
I think he has a chance to be eventually a superstar,
definitely an all-star, but a superstar,
if he gets his stuff together in the off-season and trains
and get some skill with him.
But Atlanta is another team.
Mace is really up on Atlanta.
I'm sorry he's not headed down.
I'm not familiar with their roster as much as either
with all the trades going on.
But, you know, Mace lives in Atlanta,
so he knows a lot about him.
He's high on Atlanta.
But I wouldn't have got rid of him
because Porzingis, to me,
he's another nigga that's just never available.
That year they won the championship with Boston.
He didn't play a lot during the regular season,
but he was available for the playoffs,
so that's why it looked so good.
Probably been 30-something games that year,
and he looked really good because he was available for the playoffs.
Then last year in the playoffs, you know, Tatum go down,
and he's not
he's there but he's sick
and nobody can we're not even allowed
to know what the sickness is
it's a secret sickness
they said
what is he sick from
we can't tell you
just sick
they don't know
last time somebody was sick
and they didn't know
it's magic Johnson
I'm not accusing him of that
I'm just saying
I'm just saying
they want that secret to get out
so I'm saying
it was a secret sickness
and then they found out
well I'm not putting that on nobody
That's nasty word, hold on.
I've been telling you last time it was a secret sickness.
Yeah.
They got to sit out forever.
So maybe that's why they kept his shit of secret
because it's COVID, it's Ebola.
We don't know what the fuck he had.
They wouldn't tell us.
But not just that, you know, a lot of taller players
also, you know, have a lot of problems.
Not the regular seven-footers.
6-11 things, but them niggins would be like 7-2, 7-3, 7-4.
All them thinkers, they have leg injury problems.
Yaw Ming's and the Bradley, the Sean Brad.
All them niggins always have some type of injuries when you're that tall.
So if they utilized his time right and low management,
which I'm not a fan of, which Boston did that year with Porzingis outside of his injuries,
I think he could be an asset with Golden Estate if he's available.
but he's never available.
So we'll see what happens.
Sam, what do you think?
I think it's going to mess up some chemistry
with Buddy Hill,
I mean with Jimmy Butler
because he was like molding him,
Buddy Hill.
So I think Jimmy Butler might have an attitude about that.
So he might get some friction
from when he comes back.
Well, Jimmy Butler's out for the season.
That's probably part of the reason
that they got it.
Because they're like, look, Jimmy Butler's out.
We don't know if Buddy Hill can make the points up.
Caminga's not getting any burn.
Let's see what we could get out of.
Poor Zengis.
And I don't know if you'll be available,
but I think that's the reason why they even got him
because Jimmy Butler's not going to be back this season whatsoever.
But yeah, they were friends, you're right.
So Comanga, so you're saying in the NBA,
we got a mold, a player.
Just because he's young, he's 21,
You're saying he's only 21.
It's a lot of niggas that age and younger than him.
23?
There's a lot of niggas that age that's, you know, better than him.
So why have we got a way to get to NBA to mold,
to, you know, create a player?
It's not molding.
It's learning and doing new things.
Like, for instance, right?
He wouldn't be in the NBA if he wasn't good.
You don't just get to the NBA.
Was Kobe Wack for going to see Elijah?
Because he wanted to learn new things.
Was Greek free?
for going to see Elijah Juan because he wanted to learn new things.
You can always learn.
So that's what I'm saying about learning in the off season.
You could go see people to get your skill set better.
And maybe I used the word mold, but I meant to get his skills set together.
Kobe Bryant was really good at 23 years old.
He's good in high school, but that doesn't mean he can't learn more things.
We see Michael Jordan saying how Kobe Bryant used to call him in the middle night and ask him
about moves and so on and so forth from what he was doing.
It's always room to learn.
You got to say a sponge and absorb pause.
That's what it's about because when you think you're too cocky
and reach their ceiling, somebody else is learning.
That's what I was saying.
But these were people that were producing as they were playing.
Kamenga produces when he plays.
He just doesn't get a lot of minutes.
I don't know which a hate is about Kaminga.
Every time I don't know.
No, because you just made a face like.
Yeah.
Your facial expression.
No, no, no.
But he's comparing Kobe and, you know, not comparing.
I know you're not comparing.
I'm just saying I don't understand why I was room.
You don't just get on the NBA by accident.
You know, and then don't, you don't stay there.
You got people who play in the NBA who get cut or they sent to the G League for a while and then come back.
Think about, you know, he's not doing what it's good as well as well now,
but I believe that he was, Poole was a real big part of Golden States Championship when they won.
But he got shipped to the G League for a minute to get his shit together and then brought back.
to the Golden State Warriors.
Even though he shouldn't have did it,
but to warm up, LeBron went to the G League
to get back this season,
to get back in the river.
I think that you can learn stuff
as you go along.
You're athletic and you're young,
and there's always room to learn stuff.
You just act like he's a bum.
I think he's more than a bum.
I think he's really athletic.
And if he takes time off in the summer,
he'll be all right, my opinion.
How much time he got to learn?
How many years?
The thing about it is this.
He keeps his job.
He's going to keep a job.
I'm not the GM.
I'm not hiring them and not paying him.
When he's not producing,
and he won't pay.
They won't pay him.
They won't get him a roster spot.
That's my opinion.
If he wasn't that good,
he wouldn't have the spot.
He wouldn't get the money.
I was just confused why you brought his age up
and when you first started talking about him.
That's all.
The reason I bought his age up is because
when you're younger,
they'd have more time to invest in a younger player
than an older player.
I know you don't like to hear
that, but it's just the truth.
They have time to get with you and say, look, he's how time to grow.
As opposed to, like right now, right, give you for instance, and I think all these players
are balling.
Like, as far as Kevin Durant, high level, LeBron James, we see him still catching Ali Ups
off the backboard, so on and so forth.
Stuff Curry, we see what he's doing.
But as you can see, his time's getting closer, the power they're losing a little bit
because they can make certain calls for things not to happen, and they wouldn't happen.
You wouldn't have a Jeannie bus saying I think LeBron should have showed more courtesy for us drafting his son when he got him.
Because you don't want to have to take a chance of losing on LeBron.
LeBron's contract is up next year.
And what Mace was saying was not far-fetched for him to go back to Cleveland and retire,
especially now that they got the James Harton over there.
You got the Donovan Mitchell.
And let's say you do get a LeBron James for the last one or two years over there.
You talking spicy?
All right, cool.
I'll take my shit back to Cleveland where I already got my house and everything else
and fly back to LA to take care of my business
with Rich Paul and Maverick and everything else
because y'all are talking a little spicy.
You know, LeBron been a GM,
you know, quote, unquote, not a real GM.
But GM in for a minute.
He got rid of Wiggins and said, yo, I think I need Kevin Love.
Let's get Kevin Love over here.
Then he got Anthony Davis over there on the Lakers.
I don't think that Kalinka
and the new owners are respecting him as much.
and I saying him and Rich Paul still can't make moves,
but they're thinking about life after LeBron.
That's what they're talking about when they get Luca.
Okay, well, LeBron's gone.
We have another certified superstar.
Yeah.
I'll add to that.
I do think that Kaminga Dove definitely has a lot of upside.
Like, I think just unfortunately, like, he did kind of make it clear.
He didn't really want to be with the Warriors much longer.
And, like, just between injuries and Steve Kerr not really wanting to play him,
that just kind of worked out better for him.
So on the hawk side, like, I actually think that the,
The Hawks are a really interesting team because they actually have a lot of good players that I feel like got underlooked, especially now with Tre Young being on the Wizards, they have a lot of younger players who can get more shine because like Jalen Johnson, he's been averaging like a double double.
Then you had Dyson Daniels.
Last season, he was like leading the league in steals and they just have a lot of good core pieces.
And then in addition, even just with Porzingis, their center, he was injured for most of the season.
And so I feel like to get Kaminga, like you're getting more players that I think could eventually get that chemistry as they start to play with each other more.
Like I think they're trying to build like a good foundation, which is what I think they're starting to get.
I just think that right off the bat when you're thinking of the Hawks, people are like, well, who are their main playmaker?
Just because they've kind of went under the radar because we're seeing all these other things happen with these other teams.
But like they are an exciting and like fun team to watch.
They're not winning all their games, but they win a good, they've won a good amount.
and they do have a lot of players
that have a lot of upside.
So that would be my two cents on that.
Are you happy?
I mean, I'm not a hot.
Because you signed the Golden State, aren't you?
Signs crazy.
Am I happy?
I mean, if Porzingis was healthy,
then it would be like, yay,
because, I mean, they have Al-Horford.
And like I said,
Camiga didn't really want to be there.
I feel like we could have done a little bit more shaking up.
I mean, I definitely would have preferred a honest,
but we know that now that's out of the picture.
So are you okay with Golden State
just always searching for?
for names?
I know it's about the talent, but they just want names.
That's kind of embarrassing.
Like, you sign anybody with a name.
They'll sign Michael Jordan right now, today.
All they do is search for names.
They don't build the way you're supposed to build.
They, they fantasy team search.
That's my opinion.
That's why I don't respect Golden State, the team.
I don't think that they're searching for names.
I do think that they struggle a little bit.
to develop younger talent, which is kind of what we saw happening with the Jordan Pool situation,
which is some things that could be worked on. And I think that they're starting to realize that
as a whole. But I don't think that they're just going out and seeking like, let's just get the biggest
name. Like, because Porzingis actually is really good when he's healthy. Like, I don't even think
that's bad. It just, it's just an unfortunate situation. It just needs to cheese.
Everything with a lot of big men. So it just kind of keeps happening. That would be my two-s-sense.
It's just always searching. But you're going to, you're going to want to search for the bed.
Like, if somebody's name is out there, that means they're doing this.
You got Jimmy Butler.
But he's hurt.
Relax.
What else you want?
All right, so wait, that's not, that's their problem.
So Jimmy Butler's hurt.
All right, so we're going to scheme on another team.
Let's go take, let's go rob niggas for somebody else.
That's what it's about.
Nobody on the Knicks is from the original Knicks.
Y'all didn't draft any players that's on your team.
It's not a fantasy team.
Pham, let me tell you a sudden.
Jalen Brunson made it to be a superstar.
That was smart of Worldwide Western.
I'm sorry.
I don't know why I'm drawing a blank
with the other GM's name right now.
But anyway, the point being is...
James Donnell?
That's the owner.
Oh.
I think of the name in a minute.
But anyway, it's not our fault
or Golden State's fault
that they have good scouts and recruits
and GMs that can make moves.
I just was on the phone with an agent
a couple days ago.
Zika was in the car.
with me.
I'm not going to bring it up.
But he's like, man, Yonis is still over there?
Man, listen.
I want a guy y'all just to fuck out of there.
In the week.
In the week.
He said, he'll not have maneuver.
I would have been at him where he wanted to go.
And no, it was not Rich Paul for people who'd be like,
okay, it wasn't him.
I'm just telling you.
But I'm just telling you as agents to know how to make moves
and has relationships with GMs and owners
and franchises and so on and so forth.
you can't get mad at gold and state at that
niggins just asked you if you want
Anish, you're like, you're like, you're saying things
he's down with Leon Rose.
That's his name.
Yeah.
He said, why, yeah.
I don't even know.
Talking about,
now, we only going to get rid of Carl Anthony Tass
we ain't giving up no trash.
Who's weak?
But you want Janus
and you're willing to give up Carl Anthony Tails for?
I mean, it's kind of fair.
I'm not giving up
two and three niggas.
They talk my O.G. McCall and cat.
But why you go out here robbing niggas?
That's not, Robert.
Yes.
It's fair exchange.
It's different environments.
It's different environments, like I said.
They might need...
You can call Anthony Towns and Greek freak
is a fair exchange?
No, no, not really.
I said I would give you a cat in a bag.
I would give you extra money.
I said, but I don't really know how that works.
But that would be my thought.
thing. I give you a cat in a bag.
Cat in a bag. Cat in a hat.
Cat in the bag.
Yeah, I got a suitcase of money for you.
You can't go cat while you at it.
That's how Don King used to get him.
Take this cat.
Take this cat.
Take this cat.
Take this cat in his bag.
Don't let the cat out the bag, neither.
All right.
So it's crazy.
Take this money and take this cat.
It's crazy.
Yeah, that's what he said.
Okay, so real quick before we go to break, because we did start talking about Janus,
and now I am curious, because now that we see that the Warriors got Poriz
and everybody's like, Yonis is going to go to the Warriors, da-da-da-da-da-da.
And Sin, you're talking about names.
What do you think happens next for him now?
Because the clock is ticking.
You got seven hours.
It's a hot seven hours.
It's about when the clock is 9 a.m. when this show is over,
you got to about 4 p.m. Eastern to see where.
happen. So to be honest with you,
again, me and church, me in church, you know,
we'd be having a little five minute walk here. We get
a lot of accomplishments, me and my nigga church
when I talk said, Milwaukee's shooting everything down
saying, you know, that niggas ain't making the right offer.
Nicks ain't making the right offer. To me,
nothing's going to be the right offer.
Because they know that they have
Janus for another year. Regardless, and I
think that they'll say, okay, look, he's mad now.
but we know what to do over the summer.
We'll make him happy.
You know, we'll give his little cousin a team on the spot on the team.
We'll tell Nike to make his son the baby Yonis sneakers.
Like, those niggas, to me, or figure out of way in their brain.
Not saying that he can, he may be mentally checked out.
But I think Milwaukee is saying, we're going to shoot everybody there.
Unless something happens in the next seven hours, I don't know.
But they said, he's mad now, but the shit we're going to offer him,
he'll be out next year and we'll figure it out.
But even if not, his contract is up next year,
but he also comes back next year to play.
And I think Milwaukee's banking on.
If they don't get done done in the next few hours,
I think Milwaukee's banking on putting something together to make him happy.
Sin, where's the honor's going?
I do know that he's not going to Golden State.
I've read, you know.
He just, she started the shit with him.
Can I
line stepping
Right?
Wow
That's crazy
Yeah that is crazy
They tell me on loud
Stuffing is wow
I do know that he's not going to
Golden State
So my opinion is
Either he going
To us
Or somewhere west
That's my opinion
But I just know that
Wherever he goes
Milwaukee's not going to benefit from it.
How many niggas you're going to need to replace him?
And I don't think Janus is the type that likes, wants to team up with people.
He doesn't fit me.
So whatever he's telling his agent, he's going somewhere where I would say like Sacramento.
I think Sacramento might fuck around and get him.
That's my opinion.
Okay.
Sacramento is probably not top of my list.
I don't really know.
Everything's confusing.
I'm like, it would be really funny
if you just, like, ended up at the heat,
but, like, I don't know.
I just put it out there, you know.
Like, that would be really, like, cool.
But, you know.
If I'm a walk, yeah, I'm starting on the Portland.
No way over in.
Out of the way.
Yeah, okay.
And rebuild it from the bottom.
You know what the only thing about it is
he's going to be able to go where he wants to go
this time, next summer anyway.
So whoever gets some better hope that he likes it there
because he's going to be a free agent
or he's just really getting him for a rental.
That's the thing about it is that
even if you trade him somewhere he doesn't want to go,
let's just use it for an example.
Let's just say, I don't want to use Miami
because people like Miami.
Let's just say it's Sacramento.
He doesn't want to go to Sacramento.
I don't have any facts about them.
I'm just using an example.
And Sacramento gives up a bunch of shit for him.
Why would you give all that up
if he don't want to be there
and then there's only like a one-year rental,
so are you going to win a championship this year
with him in Sacramento?
Probably not if you give up the core players of your team
and then he leaves Sacramento.
Now you're just at the bottom of the barrel if you're Sacramento.
And I'm just using Sacramento as an example.
So wherever he goes, it has to be a conversation like,
are you going to want to stay here long term
because we're willing to give up X, Y, Z for you?
And if you only stay here for a year,
these niggas was going to be here,
two, three, four years.
Sagamil.
We'll see what happens.
Okay, y'all.
We're going to go to break.
When we return, we will discuss the Sixers in O KC.
Don't go anywhere.
She called his thing about toxic.
He isn't counting.
Got you feeling like a option.
Maybe I'm my own problem, baby.
She's tired of hearing.
I don't know.
My stubborn and me won't fall
Oh, oh, trust.
But she ain't really thinking about it.
She want to be free.
Welcome back.
Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day.
So tonight, the Lakers will play the Sixers.
Underdog has Luca at 31.5.
Points.
Do you have them higher or lower?
Kim? Real high.
Okay.
LeBron is at 20 and a half points.
Do you have them higher or lower?
Lower.
Okay.
And Tyrese Max, he's at 26 and a half points.
Higher or lower.
High.
Okay.
Make sure you all down on the only.
Underdog app and you can make your picks too.
So the Cavs have agreed to trade Lonzo Ball in two second round picks to the Utah Jazz,
who also received cash considerations from the Hawks in exchange for Center Jock Landau.
The Jazz are actually expected to waive Lonzo Ball, allowing him to be a free agent.
So, Kim, how do you feel about the way things are playing out for Lonzo Ball?
And like, what do you think, isn't it?
Just real quick, though, when we're doing underdog picks,
I didn't say nothing, but the over was 28 points for Donovan Mitchell yesterday.
Okay.
And Sim was making faces when I said higher.
Okay.
And you got 29.
Damn.
I'm just saying, I don't know what I, we don't, I didn't, I didn't, we, y'all wasn't
the topic for picks.
I'm just telling me I seen your face and I was like, why is he worrying about my picks?
You don't get him.
It's one point.
So that's why they, that's why they, that's, that's literally the reason the underdog makes it
like that because they usually put their average.
So that's what gambling's about.
I've seen his face and I was like, why is he worrying about?
See, the thing about Sin doesn't like players that's competing with Jalen Brunson.
So he just doesn't even, he's so delusional to where he's just like,
he can't score more than Jailen Brunson and they're not even playing Jailen Brunson.
And he's playing the whole number team.
No, it's just that you're so positive about people that go against us.
You're positive
You're positive in all
You could say lower
And I would have been wrong
I know but I'm just saying
Like you could have said lower
And then I would have been wrong
But everything is Ohio
Who?
Well I mean
That's also the proof is in the pudding
Like Donald Mitchell's stats are better than Jaylen Bruns's
Like Donovan's averaging
28.8 Jalen's 27.1
The rebounds 4.6
Jailen's 3.2
He had 42 tonight
It doesn't last night
Yeah but it don't matter
Because the average is still mattered
Exactly
And then I don't understand why the point being is,
I just said LeBron's going to have less than 20 points.
They're on the road.
They've been in the road for, I don't know how many games straight.
That factors in.
He had a good game against the next overnight,
but he's been in the road.
So I think that factors into him not having a high-scoring game.
He may have more than 20, but I picked him to go lower.
You're not taking all that into consideration.
You're so emotional.
No, no, no.
Fuck all that.
Any of these niggas in the 60s club?
Because that's a hard club to get into.
What are you talking about?
Is Donovan Mitchell in the 60s club?
I don't know, sir.
Okay.
Well, you should know.
What's the 60s club exactly what you're talking about?
Jay Lambertz had 62 before.
Oh, you're talking about point-wise.
Yeah.
I hear that.
Is he in the championship ring?
And Donovan Mitchell or ain't neither.
I was just talking about Donovan Mitchell playing against the clippers.
I don't know what your faces was about.
It wasn't like he's playing against the Knicks.
You're asking for Donald Mitchell's career high?
71.
71.
Oh.
Is he in the 70 club?
Oh, shit.
Yeah, I was expecting that one.
Yeah.
Amstead, you're supposed to let me shine, man.
I was, unfortunately, your frustration is a little funny.
I apologize.
So is Jalen Burson in the 70 clubs, staff?
No, no, no.
Oh, my, please.
He's like, next question.
I just was looking, because I remember yesterday I was picking my saying,
he told him on all this.
When I said hi.
Yeah, because Cleveland was such and you, y'all was just hype about Cleveland yesterday,
and I, I ain't like it.
How's we hype about Cleveland when they ask in us to picks?
First of all, it's two picks.
No, the James Todden thing.
One, two pick picks from one team and one pick for the other team.
So how is we hype on Cleveland?
Did you see hype in this when she asked us?
We're like, ooh, Cleveland's player.
She's asked me.
Over or under.
You said over.
I wouldn't trust you on your draft picks, man.
Use Code Camp.
Code Camp, man.
Code Camp.
Not code sin.
Not code sin.
He's nowhere going to be involved with none of that.
Yeah, so given Lanzobal, trade to the jazz, jazz are expected to wave him.
How do you feel about the way things are playing out for him?
And what do you think is next?
Two down, one left.
Ball, brothers.
Oh, shit.
Oh, shit, I forgot about that.
Yeah.
Maybe you could do beats for Jullo.
You do the beats.
Do the beatbox.
It go kippet, kippe, kippe.
Hey, man.
When I think he...
When I think he...
Yeah.
laughing at you, Lanz.
I think you are.
Lazo's how smooth.
Like, he just,
you know,
things just happened.
I just say you could do beats.
You know what's funny?
You know what's funny?
And I'm like,
I'm not trying to visit old shit or whatever.
But when we,
when Jello's thing was going on, right?
And we was talking about him not being
a professional basketball player.
right?
And
he wasn't a professional
basketball player at the time.
And then he came out with the
record. He had a decent
record that came out. And everybody
was tagging me like, yeah, Ken, what you got to say
about that now? Yeah, and I'm like,
I just said the nigger wasn't
in the NBA.
I didn't even know
the nigger at rap. But, you know, this is how
people do. Like,
yeah, now we got you. People don't
like making sense. For me and
sitting in the argument sometime, and I'll make it sense.
He actually literally says, I don't want to make sense.
Literally.
He's what you see.
He'll tell you, I don't want.
And that's what it's happened with the yellow ball situation.
It's like, yeah, I was like, yo, what is music I have to do with him being in a major?
Fuck that.
He got the record.
I'm like, hey, if you don't want to make sense, I totally understand him.
You don't want to make sense.
When I think about Lazo Ball, even throughout his career, this is the one thing that stands
out to me is that when Magic Johnson was the GM of the Lakers,
they kind of got Deerrin Fox.
at the Lakers.
And because Lonzo Ball was from the Los Angeles area,
you know, not directly in Los Angeles and Riverside County,
that magic, to me, went with the Homer, being from state of California.
And it didn't pan out with them.
And I'm like, damn, they could have had Deerrin Fox.
And from there, he had a decent career, not spectacular, not superstar,
not even All-Star, really.
I thought he would be a solid point guard, but to me, injuries caught up with him as well.
and I don't think he ever bounced back from the last injury that he had.
But I always thought he could be a decent point guard, if not a decent point guard,
at least a decent backup.
But I don't think he ever bounced back from that one injury that he had this last time
and it's not really pinning out for him.
Sin, I know you said you don't really like him.
Sin doesn't like the Ball Brothers because I think he said he didn't know who Nas was.
and they're because of that.
I can't just blame.
That's what this.
Not like him for that.
All right.
Okay.
Yeah, I don't, first of all, I think, um, the pops, what's that?
LeVar Ball.
I think he's like one of the best agents ever because I don't know.
And wise as well.
Yeah, I never thought Alonzo was nice.
I thought Mello was nice, but I never thought Alonzo was nice.
And I think they gaffed the whole industry.
the whole NBA
of putting him,
what was he like second or third?
What was he picked?
Like fourth or something?
Second, I believe.
Second?
That's crazy.
He's not good.
And then with the NOS thing,
I think he said that to, you know,
to trigger me,
will not trigger people
because he said the only Nause
he knew was the other Nause,
the newer Nause.
And, and...
Little Naz-Lex.
Yeah.
And that's just disrespectful.
Like, come on now.
And your brother wraps
And now you might end up doing
Producing beats
I bet you want to say
One of your beats
Than Nas wouldn't you?
Like,
I don't like this basketball game
Because he said he don't like Nas
Or doesn't know
I just never thought he was that good
I thought Melo was good
That's what I said
His pops
He should thank him every day
Because he gaffled everybody
He had everybody
Believing that this kid was good
And he's
He's not that good
but you're mainly frustrated by the music thing too
yeah I thought that was disrespectful like you don't disrespect niz
come on now oh only niz I know is this this niz
you knew the other nyes you're not gonna sit here and tell me you ain't
no nasty niz is my nigga like you can't tell me that that's impossible
belly you watch movies he's been in movies you're lying
to try to you know stand down and say something stupid so yeah I wasn't
feeling that
and called niggas old.
So I wasn't feeling that.
Fair, all time.
Rant.
Okay.
So Clippers, Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors
have agreed on a multi-team trade,
sending Chris Ball to the Raptors and O'Shea,
the 2032 Raptors second rounder,
and cash to the Nets.
So Chris Paul is not required to report to Toronto
and still could be traded ahead of the deadline.
So, Cam, what do you make of him basically being sent to Toronto
given that this is supposed to be a farewell tour?
and everything that's going on.
I like Chris Paul growing up, man, but there was, you know,
what, you want to go first?
You got to say?
No, this is the disrespect Chris Paul show,
and I always talk, I said, stop,
because he did nothing wrong.
He just didn't win.
Just like your man, James Hardin that you brought up.
I mean, I have nothing against James Harder.
I like watching him play, but he's just, you know.
What do we do to disrespect Chris Paul?
Just so.
Yeah, y'all used to say, like, he,
He can't win.
And why would, he said, every time he go to a team,
he wants to talk to somebody and they'd be like, man, get the fuck out of here.
I don't want to hear what you got to say.
You said, huh?
That's a lot?
No, it's not a lot.
Okay, so what are they talking about?
Can you not trample over my rights?
I have a freedom of speech.
You keep lying stepping.
Don't trample over my rights.
Let me talk.
I have a freedom of speech.
I can meet you.
I can meet you.
You asked me.
Yeah, but then I'm just replying to you real quick.
You say that the nigg is, I'm not going to meet you.
I'm just saying.
You say, you say.
You talk about you.
I'm a mute you.
I'm a mute you.
You got a world more syllable for that mute button.
When he be on Zoom, I'm on the show.
All I'm saying, I was conversing with you about that point for you after that point.
You said that we'd be up here saying when niggas try to talk to them, they slap his hand there
and referring to James Hart.
And you're like, that's a diss.
But I actually didn't happen.
You'd be like, yeah, it happened.
So we're not allowed to say that that happened?
You know when you went to Phoenix
I had some smart things to say
What did we say son?
I'm talking about it.
So hold on.
Y'all said particular things
that made him stare at you.
I said, yo, you see Chris Paul?
You was like, yeah, you're looking at me
and I'm looking right back.
I get threatened my athletes every day.
But obviously you said something.
That was okay.
They do.
They do.
They be mad.
Sometimes I'm like, damn, I didn't say shit about you.
This is what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't matter.
See, they're mad because we're noticing what's happening.
We don't sit there and get personal with niggas and be like,
nah, I knew the nigger in school.
He was a bitch-ass nigger.
No, we're calling out what we see.
And then they get personal because we're calling out what they see.
It's like the disc Chris Paul show.
This all started with Chris Paul when he went to Golden State to me.
And we was like, yo, he's not going to be respected there
because niggas at Golden State beat Chris Paul
mad times to go to the championship
when he was with the clippers.
So how are you going to,
and Chris Paul is one of them hands-on players,
almost like a coach on the court
to where he's like,
yo, listen, you should go through there and go there.
If you look at when he's on the foul line
or in some of him, he's always telling the nigger,
yo, now listen, if you set the pick,
roll, then I can get you.
You can't tell Draymond and stuff.
I'm just telling you.
It's like this, right?
You don't want to share experience?
We beat up on you for like six, seven years.
What can you tell me when we beat up on you for six years straight?
What are you going to teach me?
My point is this.
I didn't think the respect.
I could be wrong.
I'm just telling you my opinion.
I didn't think the respect would be there.
I didn't think, you know, Draymond before he got there,
he's like, I don't like Chris Paul.
But, you know, we'll work together.
Get it done.
This is what Draymond said you first got there.
They didn't like him.
But what happened was he got there.
He ended up coming off the bench in the second unit.
And it didn't work.
I say this.
And now this show is about hate Chris Paul.
I'm getting it.
Why was he looking at you like that in Phoenix?
Because he probably felt the way about me saying it.
They're like, yo, care.
Don't predict that it's not going to work.
Just hope for the best.
It says it's going to work.
That ain't why I'm here.
That's not what I'm here.
You keep a job, though.
Huh?
You keep a job.
He must be doing.
something right? He has not been in Clippers.
They told him don't come. That's what I'm
saying. But he has another job. And they just
told him don't come. They didn't tell him
that. They said that. They said don't
show up to the gym. Don't pull your
car up. They ain't say that. What did
they just say, don't report, right? Yeah.
Okay, they told him don't come there.
All right, wait for the phone call. They just
told him, why would he go to Canada
if they're telling him don't come?
Because they literally said he's not required
to report. He could still be trading
ahead of the deadline. That's what
I'm trying to tell you, bro.
Niggins is already telling you,
yo, just, I know we did Buster Move, just chill.
You on the Clippers, when's the last time he played for the Clippers?
Tadu told him, like, two months ago,
yo, you good, checks, still, and be there and all that.
Don't you worry about it.
So December 1st, 20, 25th.
So December 1st is the last time he even played for the Clippers,
and he signed to the Clippers,
and they telling him don't come to work.
Then you get traded yesterday to the Raptors
and they're telling you,
you know, the border be wilding and all that.
I don't even make sense for you.
Come up here and try and get through customs
and all that shit.
We're going to figure it out because we still might trade you later.
Then when he was on the Suns,
he was on the flight.
And when he landed,
it was like, yo, how do you feel about going to go to state?
He said, huh?
He said, yeah, you're going to go to the state.
He's going to Good Morning America.
I'm watching the shit live.
And they say, so you got traded this morning.
He said, yeah, I didn't even know
I found out on the way here.
I think it's disrespectful.
I think too.
Why are they doing that, though?
Why are they sending them like that, spinning them, really?
He tried to make it seem like he's,
because he'd get on every team
and try to school niggas.
That's what he's the head of the player association.
Why wouldn't you want to listen to him?
Yeah, bro, not no more.
He was.
I'm just saying that I think that he,
I think he's a legendary career.
He's going to be a Hall of Famer.
You know, one of the last of the,
pure point guards.
But all I'm saying is that when he gets to certain teams,
it just doesn't, it hasn't worked out anyway.
Actually, I think they had a chance when he was on Phoenix.
That was the closest chance they had, actually.
And that didn't work out.
But I think he has a Hall of Fame career.
I actually don't like the way they're treating him on the way out.
You know what I'm saying?
I just know that certain things wasn't going to work.
I know it wasn't going to work out a Golden State when J-Mond is saying,
I never really liked the nigger
and know that we've been beating up on him
pause for the last half a decade or so.
Then I knew it wasn't going to work with the Clippers
when he was already on the same team with James Hart
and then Houston.
And this is the part when James Hart was slapping his hand down
in Houston.
So you're going to put him back with James Hart?
Who are you going to take now?
James Hart and Chris Paul,
not saying it's a right or wrong answer,
but I'm saying you're taking somebody 6-5-66 point guard
over the 6-1 point guard
with somebody who has scoring,
title record. Not saying Chris Paul
couldn't have been a factor, but if you have to make a
choice, because James Harton don't like Chris Paul,
which is obvious.
So I didn't think it would work there. And then when
I make statements about that,
just to hate Chris Paul show.
I don't know.
I do want to add to that, too. Because it's not like
these reports and things are coming out of nowhere
because even when we initially talked about it,
I was just like, I feel like they're doing him wrong because I feel
like he should have a lot more respect.
But even like there is a report
that came out basically of
him explaining how he was trying to build team chemistry and he threw a Halloween party,
only three players showed up.
Yeah, I remember that.
Like, he had been trying to, like, do things and it's just not, I don't, I don't know why.
I mean, which is honestly probably good for him that people aren't linking it.
Leaking why, because, I mean, we saw what happened with the Warriors and, like, things going
on there.
Like, I think it's probably best that we don't fully know because I don't know what exactly
it is, but it's not like this is coming from thin air.
Like, genuinely, there's some just disconnect there and with a lot of other players.
But I think it was like, yo, you go out of the Chris Paul.
He said, yo, Sanchez, goody, Google.
And I think that's dope.
Chris Paul trying to build some chemistry and camaraderie, especially, I thought it would
be dope.
And it's fucked up because I thought it was going to be, you know, he's probably
announcing that he's going to retire this year.
I thought it would have been good if he'd been on his farewell tour as well.
he's done a lot in the league very very good play over the years it's just been like the last three years have been fucked up and because we notice it that doesn't mean that we're not acknowledging the other 17 18 years that he's put work in because i think he'll be a first ballot hall of famer and um it's sad to actually see him go out like this to be honest with you yeah i still hope they figure something out okay so last thing before we wrap so sin gonna let you go first because the nicks get their eighth straight win and beat the nuggets one thirty four to one
127 in double overtime.
Do you think they're going to keep this momentum?
What are your thoughts as a Knicks fan?
What Kat did tonight?
Boy got about 30 stitches in the head.
He had a big gash all over,
and he went and put the Band-Aid on,
came out and played.
He said, you will not trade me.
Because everybody's, I think it's in fear right now.
Everybody's like, oh shit,
what the fuck's the thing is going to do?
Greek freak is coming or whatever.
We had a long team meeting
And everybody got to say what they want to say
I heard OG last out
I heard Jaylen Brunson said what he had to say
And it's been fixed since then
So I think, you know
The train is going to keep rolling
I don't trust Nick anymore
Because he said
I was saying MVP for Jay
Jalen Brunson
You got to give it to that man
That man is 6-2 and he's out here killing
And the best footwork I've seen
since Mark Jackson and he's saying Kay Cunningham might get MVP over Jalen Brunson,
which makes absolutely no sense.
But it's not a bad take.
But I understand.
But okay, so hold on.
All right.
Well, day number one right now.
Yes.
Okay.
That does a lot.
Right now.
And we.
Pistence.
That does a lot.
Yeah, but they got a good coach.
And they got a running gun team.
So they're going to make some noise.
And like y'all said,
everybody hurt, right?
You know?
Who said that?
Y'all did.
Y'all said Jason Tadams.
And so they're talking about, yeah.
Yeah, they're not.
League as a whole, like the East.
Yeah, they're not competing with everybody.
They just really, and we play them next.
So we're going to see, we're going to revisit that, Nick, about this whole MVP convo because, yeah, 42 tonight.
I mean, last night, excuse me.
And we're on the eight-game winner streak.
And I don't think anybody else has an eight-game winning streak right now.
Yeah, I think that.
I think you hit the nail on the head.
This shit goes down the drain after tomorrow
because the trade deadline is over.
And then niggas, because everybody is scared.
Niggas is like, you know, they're going to break us up.
We got to do something fast and in a hurry.
So you're right, son.
They're panicking.
They're scared.
They had a team meeting.
Niggas last out.
Like, you know, we get shipped.
And we don't get this shit together.
And after next week, you'll go back to regular Knicks.
and y'all probably
you don't never,
you know,
I think y'all ride out 10, 11 games
and then back to the regular Knicks for me.
But I think that everybody's scared.
He's right.
Yo, he's 100% right.
They're fighting for their life right now.
They're fighting for their life.
That's exactly.
Like, that was like when Apollo Creed
is so right.
There's no tomorrow.
That's exactly what the Knicks is doing right now.
And next week,
it'll be regular old Nix, man.
I'm telling you that right now
because they don't want to break the gang up.
That's what's going on, man.
You know?
What's regular old Knicks?
What's that?
And why?
Next year.
We're going to the finals, though, right?
I don't know.
We got to bet on that.
Okay.
Y'all shit?
Listen, at the beginning of the year,
we said on this show
that the Knicks should go to the finals.
We said, like you said,
I didn't know when you met injury.
We talked about Tatumee and her,
Hallibur.
being hurt the trades going on.
Y'all have the same crew from last year.
Y'all should go to the finals.
But watching the season,
the trade looks good.
Cleveland is, you know what's going about the time.
See what's how you're going on in Cleveland.
Joelle Embed is starting to get back
to his regular self.
Hey, man.
I picked all at the beginning of the season
to go to the championship.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I bet you.
But you took that pickback so fast.
that you picked us to go to the finals.
If I didn't take...
A couple of little moves with some other teams
and now we're not going.
I didn't take the pick back, son.
I'm just saying that I picked y'all to go.
I didn't say that y'all shouldn't go.
Y'all should go.
Y'all got the most chemistry to me out of everybody.
You got niggas on three niggas on the same team
that went to college together.
Y'all have mad chemistry together.
Y'all should go.
That's my opinion.
But if I'm looking at the landscape of what's going on,
I'm not confident.
You got time to get together.
So you would pick Kay Cunningham to get MVP over Jalen Brunson?
Today.
Say what?
If we're picking today, today.
If we had to vote today?
Yeah.
Yes, I'm picking them today.
We still got time.
It's still another 30-something games.
I don't get it.
What is he doing that Jalen Brunson ain't done?
He has his team.
First of all, he's taller.
We got to stop with the height.
you get to the NBA, it's not his fault that he's taller than Jalen Princeton.
What do you want to do?
They're all in the NBA.
They know where they drafted.
The thing about it is this, right?
We was expecting the Knicks to be where the Pistons are right now.
That's what we were expecting at the beginning of the season.
And for the Pistons to be in first place, not by one or two games,
I believe it's five, six games there in front stat, something like that.
It's not even like, not saying the Knicks can catch up, but for the three games.
Four.
Four games.
So for them, first of all, that ain't nothing.
What I'm saying is just, they were selling 50 cent tickets three years ago, two years ago.
To be in first place right now at the all-star break, that's a big deal, bro.
And the person doing this is Kay Cunningham.
So you go from 50-cent tickets to get in the palace or wherever the arena is called now,
to now lead in the whole East and first place.
And not only that, have an all-star on the team, potentially a super-stop.
star and they were selling
and now the Pistons are
somebody to be talking about.
Didn't you think that Nix would be doing this right now?
Just your opinion.
Every,
the past two seasons we've been making
each your words. Remember last season
it was Cleveland. Oh, they never had
a start like this. How are you going to say
that? They did have a talk about
record-wise, you're right.
You're 100% right about that.
But they won the championship.
And they went to four straight championships.
They wasn't selling 50-cent tickets.
But that was what, three years ago, two years ago?
Cleaver?
No, I'm talking about Detroit.
Two years ago.
Kay Cutterham was on the team.
He just didn't blossom as quick as everybody thought he would blossom.
Two years ago, we couldn't make it past the second round.
We exceeded.
But the tickets was in the first round, excuse me.
Sin niggas was rolling dice in the third row in Detroit during the game.
But everybody's building.
And you see us building.
Remember, it used to be like, y'all can't make it to the playoffs.
Then we make it to the player.
Y'all can't make it past first round.
Then we started making it past first round.
Then the second.
But you've been building for 53 years.
No, but we're talking about our conversations recently.
The business is won a championship this century.
Everybody always do everything so much better than we do.
I don't understand that.
It's an organization, right?
It's called the New York Knickerbockers organization.
So you're talking about this era of building with Kat and Jalen Brunson
and no G or whatever.
But before that it was another generation
that you were trying to build.
And before that it was another generation
and stuff Marbury and Camano Anthony
and Lynn Sanity that you was trying to build.
Then before that was Charles Sprewell
and his crew.
They did good.
They didn't win.
But then we went to the finals.
They did not win.
We had to face Tim Duncan.
And if you really want to be technical,
they shouldn't be selling no goddamn chicken sandwiches
because they went from winning rings from Isaiah
to Charles.
Billups, Tysha Sean Prince.
You want a champion of the century, bro.
I understand.
That's what I'm trying to tell you.
They've been groving.
So how you go from grooving,
how you go from grooving to selling
sunflower season chicken sandwiches?
They haven't won in 20 years.
Huh?
They haven't won in 20 years.
With Chauncey Billis in there?
That was 20 years ago.
It don't seem like 20.
Like, 114, versus 20.
24, 2025 is a huge difference for them to be
where they're at right now.
Do you remember the fight in the palace?
No.
You don't remember the fight in the palace.
Ben Wallace and Ron Nautess.
You don't remember that.
You know what Ron Nattessa is?
Yes.
So it's a step.
It's a step.
It don't seem like it.
You got to realize this, right?
2004, I'm just telling you, 2004, right?
That was three.
Why you lost?
Because I'm trying to think if I was watching,
TV at three. We just watched TV at
three, four years old, right? That was a big deal.
I'm sure
her father, Papa's dad,
and his friends came over and they were talking
about it. You know, watch the malice and the balance.
She knows who we're on our testers.
But you're doing it three and 24
is two different things, me? You can't even
go outside by yourself when you three.
You knew who Smokey Robinson was, right?
No, man, I'm not doing this. I'm not doing
it, man. And on that show,
y'all. That is all the
the time that we have for today.
In the comments, let us know if y'all would choose
Cade Cunningham or Jalen Brutton today as your MVP.
I think it's a lot of good discussion,
so we'll see what y'all think.
Sin, thanks for joining the show, man.
Thank you, man.
We appreciate you.
We had you with the next one.
That's what you wanted.
Listen, this is what I'm about.
Okay.
Thank you all for watching.
And as always, it is what it is.
