What's the deal, man? How you? Yeah, man. Doing really good. Good, man. What's up? You know who else is doing really good?
Starting point is 00:01:14 Team USA. So they beat Serbia 105-79 in Abu Dhabi. Curry scored 24 points, the most of any U.S. player so far this summer, including 18 in the first half with four threes in 11 minutes. Next, they will face South Sudan, then Germany. After seeing this performance, how do you guys think the next games will go? And are you getting a little bit more confidence in Team USA as we see them play? Yeah, I might say this game, they look really alive.
Starting point is 00:01:43 When you look at the game when it first started it looked like it was going to be a goodie it looked like it was going to be a borderline classic um serbia was playing really at high intensity um joker was doing whatever he wanted it seemed like the serbia team was even matching at one point they were matching Stephen Curry and threes it seemed like he would hit a big three they would come down hit a big three they would get a layup they'd throw the ball long pause and he end up somebody end up getting a dunk but then they looked like Stephen Curry just kept going like okay you had two now I'm gonna hit three now I'm at four now I'm gonna have five pause and. And then once they put the second unit in, that second unit just went crazy.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Shout out to Booker. Shout out to Bam. They was even calling Bam Splash a Splash Brother. That was crazy the way he hit the three. And then when you think of the other players, even Anthony Edwards went crazy. One time he did this, he had a three, and it looked like he was a part of the Spuds brothers. So I don't know where all this came from,
Starting point is 00:02:51 but it looked like he really improved his jump shot. And that's going to end up being a real problem. So I am growing some confidence in Team USA. But when I was looking for KD, and KD didn't even show up. So I don't know how that worked. How do you think that worked? If he doesn't, if he stay injured, do you think they'll give Jalen Brown a shot?
Starting point is 00:03:14 But we'll talk about that after Killer get his take. I ain't jacking none of these preseason games. Don't count in the NBA. Don't count now. I think niggas like have fun. I don't think Joker would allow this shit.
Starting point is 00:03:30 I'd be totally honest with you if this was the real thing. Me personally, I just don't think Joker will only have 16 points if the gold medal is on the line. I think that it's good for them to gain some chemistry and gain some confidence.
Starting point is 00:03:45 And that's about as far as I'm going for me gaining confidence in Team USA. I think that they need to play together more. So it's a plus for that. Outside of that, let Patty Mills act crazy on y'all the other day, man. Niggas forgot about Patty. Patty went a little crazy on y'all niggas the other day. Y'all won by six. But niggas forgot. Y'all didn't let Patty do that that and then you think the joker going for game nah nah niggas is niggas
Starting point is 00:04:10 saying we ain't gonna go crazy that's how i'm taking these other teams of course australia tried to win up the day but i'm not jacking this play that joker only 16 points uh lackadaisical look good in the beginning but I know these niggas if I see them down the road they know what time it is that's what I felt about the game but it is good to see them gain some chemistry but I wouldn't get this excited about it
Starting point is 00:04:36 it's the preseason of the Olympics same thing I told you we had a whole season of 23 and 0 lost in the first round, that didn't mean a damn thing and even though I know we're gonna you brought up uh Jalen Brown Mace I was actually gonna say that um to be totally honest like um like who who's uh Makai Potter Langston Galloway, Nigel Hayes Davis. Who the fuck are they? Why are they? So this is what y'all doing?
Starting point is 00:05:13 Jalen Brown. Makai Porter, Langston Galloway, Nigel Hayes. They all got some playing time because their points are up here. Who the fuck is this? Why are they on the roster and Jalen Brown is not on the roster? Do you know any of these names?
Starting point is 00:05:35 No, I don't know. I thought you was talking about some assistants or something. And then no disrespect, but I don't know those names. I was actually thinking. Okay, Makar Potter went one for two. Langston Galloway, one for two.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Nigel Hayes Davis, oh for one. So that's what y'all doing. So no Jalen Brown. So y'all dead ass. Them niggas just playing games with you, Jalen. I feel you. I don't know if this is a get ready just in case people. Kind of.
Starting point is 00:06:09 They're the select team, so they just train with them. But I guess, yeah, that's the way to put it. Get ready just in case. They played today and Jalen Brown did. Team select. Yeah. Come on, man. This is the NBA finals MVP.
Starting point is 00:06:24 He doesn't have a spot. Y'all are tripping. NBA and USA team. Y'all are tripping. Steve Kerr, Eric Spolstra. Y'all are tripping. There's no way you don't have Jalen Brown on this team. I know it's politics. You got to have a certain amount of people from teams select. But come on, stop playing with that man's name, man. Y'all making it obvious. And this seem like what happens when people like, we're going to teach this nigga a lesson. We're going to teach this nigga a lesson moment. I said that last week, probably. This is not the time to teach lessons. I said, Fajar Moran, if
Starting point is 00:07:00 need be. Right now, and no disrespect to you guys, Team Select. Like like if i was younger i would say nah but i'm not younger i don't do team select i do we need to win i need to find out how healthy zion is and john moran and jalen brown for these three names. That's my selection. If I got to make a select, that's who I'm selecting. It's no time to be playing games because if these are the people in case something happened, however I ever had the three names that I just named
Starting point is 00:07:36 and probably another few that I'm not naming right now, just in case. So what we're going to do is call these three names and hopefully you guys have a successful career where I hear more about you in the future. No down plan. So what we're going to do is call these three names, and hopefully you guys have a successful career. I hear more about you in the future. No down plan. But this is the creme de la creme of the world.
Starting point is 00:07:53 This is not the G League or Summer League, or they're going to be them niggas. Hopefully y'all do be them niggas. Right now, if an emergency happens, and that's what Team Select is, we'll call it insurance. Like, you know, if you have a car accident yeah it's like oh yeah yeah exactly all state yeah state farm i'd rather have that insurance because i'm not comfortable with the names i'm hearing and there's no disrespect i don't know how old you guys are i know y''all may be young. Y'all may be the Christian
Starting point is 00:08:25 Leightoners. I don't fucking know. I just don't like it because when I'm looking at the box score... Yeah. By the way, sorry, Nigel is 29 years old. Yeah, this is the shit I'm talking about. Come on, man. What team select is he from then?
Starting point is 00:08:43 Well, he's on the U.S. team select, but he played for the Turkish basketball in EuroLeague and played college basketball for Wisconsin Badgers. This is not the time. Yeah, man. This is not the time to be throwing badges in there, right? Like, for real. And I got a lot of love for Milwaukee. This ain't the time, man.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Like, for real. Yeah, man. We don't need this right now. This is exact. That's what I'm saying. I'm looking and I'm like, and I agree 100%, but I know he has to be American to be playing for America, but he
Starting point is 00:09:18 hasn't been playing in America. He's been playing in Turkey. In Tokyo somewhere. The Turkish joint. Listen, this is not the time to have a Turkish pro on the American team. No disrespect to Turkey and y'all basketball league or anything like that. I just know some niggas that's in the league that can fill these spots. And that's just me personally.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Yeah, and Jai is off suspension. Y'all could have put jow on this team that would have been that would have been fire for jai to walk in everybody like yeah you know i'm saying fresh off their suspension usa team a little blonde braid or something running past pause and i mean're going to do this, they could have just run. Just put Bronny on a team, just put Bronny on USA. If you're going to have these Turkish niggas now, I kind of understand what what Bron is saying, but Bronny on a team. I mean, you could do it.
Starting point is 00:10:21 You could do anything. They're saying you to shug night of the NBA, so you might as well strong. Bronny is going to be a backup of USA. That's what I think he should do. Give him all the experience. Pause. Make sure that nobody ever matches LeBron. First father and son to play on USA together.
Starting point is 00:10:46 If KD get hurt, this will buzz pause the bowels of all the haters of LeBron just get Bronny to be on USA team as a reserve. He don't even have to get in the game. Just suit him up. This is where I totally disagree it's not time for that this is an emergency this is an emergency we we lose this olympics we are in trouble with the rest of the world yo we are in trouble i said this last week we we lose this this is not about one state for me this is about harlem it's not even about this is an
Starting point is 00:11:40 emergency state of the emergency for the United States. We have one player in the first team or NBA. This is an emergency to show that we still run the world in basketball. Because I'm telling you now, if niggas do not win,
Starting point is 00:11:56 niggas, I can imagine niggas looking at niggas when season starts. Yeah, like USA ain't the team no more. This is not the place. Yeah, this is not the place yeah this is not the place we already
Starting point is 00:12:06 I see exactly what you're saying and we already talked about the lackluster I don't even know the right word to use right now what the fuck is going on in the AAU circuit and you know what I'm saying confusion
Starting point is 00:12:21 pure confusion yeah parents is going harder than the kids You know what I'm saying, white? Confusion. Yeah, kids ain't nothing. Just pure confusion. Yeah, parents is going harder than the kids. It's just mass confusion in the AAU system to where NIL, they blame the shit on NIL. They blame the shit on the parents. You know, I'm not going to act like I'm in that circuit, but the shit that I be hearing, they say it's a damn mess.
Starting point is 00:12:45 We lose control. I'm telling you now it already sound like we gonna lose control by next Olympics if these kids don't get it together it will be a problem we do not win this Olympics I'm telling you that right now and I don't I don't know these kids oh man
Starting point is 00:13:00 okay and then like May said after Bam's performance LeBron started calling him the new Splash brother. Bam and Curry combined for nine of Team USA's 16 threes. What do you guys think of the praise that Bam has just been gotten? Do you think they're going too far? That statement, how you feeling?
Starting point is 00:13:18 Yeah, I think it's great that they're hyping Bam up. One time Bam hit a three and he was standing there sideways, paused, like he was really a splash brother at the top of the key. I said, yo, Bam think he's a guard. But shout out to Bam.
Starting point is 00:13:33 That mean you're improving your game, adding another portion to your game so you could be more effective for the Miami Heat. And I'm for players taking that game to the next level. It ain't the time. I think it ain't the time. It is not the time. To be trying out
Starting point is 00:13:55 what you've been working on. This is USA basketball. This is not the time for none of that shit, bro. disagreeing again you're not a splash brother you're not but what i will say is this is that when when me and mace always talk about this and colin the other day kind of confirmed it with it's about building camaraderie. Yeah. And if I do, I am with the hype them up. I am with the,
Starting point is 00:14:28 yeah, nigga, you got these niggas. But what happens is, you think you a splash brother and you trying that shit again and you just had a good game for shooting from three. I'm looking at the box score right now.
Starting point is 00:14:42 We got Drew Holiday, two for two from three. Anthony Edwards, 2 for 5. Bam, 3 for 5. Devin Booker, 1 for 2. Makai Porter, 1 for 2. Langston Galloway, 1 for 2. And, of course, Steph Curry.
Starting point is 00:15:03 Jason Tatum, 0 for 2. LeBron, 0 for 2. Joel Embiid, 0 for 3. And, of course, Steph Curry. Jason Tatum, 0 for 2. LeBron, 0 for 2. Joel Embiid, 0 for 3. And this is my problem right here. Now, I know the game is different and it's changed up. But if we were, I didn't watch this whole game, but watching Australia, they was going to the Baja, baby. Them niggas wasn't all three-pointed out.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Them niggas, nigga old school, we going to the paint. And when you have every single person outside of Tyrese Halliburton baby. Them niggas wasn't all three-pointed out. Them niggas, nigga old school, we going to the paint. And when you have every single person outside of Tyrese Halliburton and Anthony Davis attempting more than one three, listen, y'all are not the Splash Brothers. This is not Golden State.
Starting point is 00:15:40 And I know that's kind of how Steve Kerr offense works, but this is going, you have to live and die by this because, listen, you didn't do that well last game on the threes in those close games. Y'all blew them out this game, but I wouldn't count on this. They're not a splash, brother.
Starting point is 00:15:58 Steph Curry, Tamisha, the only one getting the green light to shoot, but this is the NBA that we live in now where the big men are averaging two, three, four threes per game. And if you can make it, you can make it. I think Joel Embiid knocks it down once in a while, even though he didn't hit one tonight, last night, pardon me. And I don't know.
Starting point is 00:16:18 I'm not jacking the Splash Brothers. But I do like the camaraderie. I do like putting the battery and niggas back for us. I do like, say, hyping your players up. But don't let it gas you. Yeah. Yeah, that's all I'm saying. Because they'll end up losing with Bam taking that shot.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Yeah. And then you have to explain. Right. He's like, but I've been hitting this. Yeah. Shit was all good when I was a splash brother like what are you doing this is for the gold man
Starting point is 00:16:51 okay so I think some information we've all been waiting for is the details of Pat Bev's contract with Israel so it's reported his historic contract is going to be 4 million dollars for 2 years this is just the monetary price we don't know what else he's being offered or provided with but now knowing
Starting point is 00:17:11 that information if you were pat bev would you take that deal they gave him off but he couldn't refuse four million pat beth oh my no just think about this all jokes aside for two years that's just two million dollars so what else did they offer him is it all you involved what what did he get pause that that was he couldn't refuse is it two million to go to israel it's like doing shows killer when somebody say they want to bring you all across the country i mean out of the country for the same money you would get in the states the answer is no like there's way more traveling. There's way more things that is a security breach. It's just, it doesn't make sense, man. Unless they put, I don't even know what to say I would go to Israel for. They'll probably want to smack the shit out of his agent or whoever leaked this information, man.
Starting point is 00:18:21 That's probably what he really want to do. Because he's like, yo. I told niggas that it was a hole. leak this information man that's probably what he really want to do because he's like yo i told who put that out there damn man damn bro that's i don't want to sneeze and act like two million isn't a lot of money for certain people but this is really what this tells me is this, my personal opinion, is that I don't think it was nobody who wanted you in the NBA. Because the league minimum or veterans minimum stat, you can find that out while I finish my job.
Starting point is 00:18:59 We can sit here and find out what the veteran minimum is. Now let's clear this up. This might be tax-free money, so he may be able to keep the whole $2 million. Maybe. And veteran minimum, what, $1.4? $1.6? Well, it's saying, so this is saying specifically for Pat Bev,
Starting point is 00:19:15 his would average around $3.3 million in his circumstances. Nobody wanted you, bro. That's what happened. You don't do that. You don't go there. So you was doing exactly what happened you don't do that you don't you don't go there so you was doing exactly what i said killer when black people get money they want you to know about it so the mere fact that he didn't disclose that money amount screamed to us that it wasn't a
Starting point is 00:19:40 lot of money yeah i mean we look we know what's going on over there. And like I said, prayers out to everybody over there, but it's a dangerous situation. If you can make three point whatever here and then probably end up getting the same two million after taxes, why go? I just don't understand it. Like you said, it would literally,
Starting point is 00:20:07 I don't even know what else could make me go if I'm getting the same exact money. The food. I'm cool. The food is kosher. I hear you. I'm not doing it, bro. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:20:20 No disrespect to Pat. You got to eat. You got to do what you got to do. But we knew you was capping, nigga. We know, niggas. They gave me everything I could. You shouldn't have hit. You shouldn't have threw the ball at them people, bro.
Starting point is 00:20:32 That's where it all went bad, man. And I think you're a tremendous asset on defense, but what you have to look at, and I don't know this right now off the top of my head, when did Bruce Bowen retire? When did Tony Allen retire? You know, you're of that kind of cloth, and you're not even as tall as Bruce Bowen or as tall as Tony Allen,
Starting point is 00:20:58 but we have to see where their career ended at, and then we could compare what kind of player you are and how long your career would have lasted in the NBA. Because you're a defensive specialist. That's what you are. Your career, I think, is great. I'm not going to even act like
Starting point is 00:21:16 I could average nine points in the NBA, especially your undersized guard. It is what it is. You average 9.2 for your career. It's dope, but right now, at this point in your career and for the last long time, as far as I can remember, that's what you've been, a defensive specialist. And when you start looking at the Bruce Bowens and the Tony Allens and whoever else I can't name.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Yeah, Mookie Blaylock, all of them. Yeah, that's exactly what you are. And did they make it to 36? I don't know. Not Mookie Blaylock. I apologize. Mookie was nicer than that. I was saying they were 36.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Bruce Bowen, 36. Tony Allen, 36. No, but I'm pretty sure, yeah. That's a good call. Look at this. I'm the expert today. I figured they was all about 36. And look, I called it 36.
Starting point is 00:22:17 That's the league. That's when your ceiling is for a defensive specialist. 36 years old for a defensive specialist in the NBA. I wish you luck, bro. You know, we kid around a lot up here. I got mad respect for you, especially taking on an assignment in the NBA
Starting point is 00:22:35 being a defensive specialist. Somebody who averaged 37 points in high school in Chicago with a bunch of nice niggas. You know, a lot of Chicago and California has the most NBA players in the country. So that's not frowned upon.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Being a professional, showing up to work, not crying about your minutes or your time, actually being a good teammate. So I salute you. I'm pretty sure you got a lot of basketball left in you. But it won't be in the NBA and I think you may have had another year or two and could have beat Bruce Bowen and
Starting point is 00:23:09 Tony Allen but I just think that last incident in the end kind of sealed the fate. Yeah and if you're watching this definitely keep up your podcast. It will be very interesting to see what you'll say from Israel. And then I do want to add, to be fair.
Starting point is 00:23:30 And not only that, just real quick. Annie told that lady from ESPN, you can't ask me no questions because you're not subscribed to my podcast. And went and finished the interview after, until she left. And then ESPN was like, you know what? Don't come up here no more. All this trickles down,
Starting point is 00:23:50 and I get it. You're not, if you're not, he's like, you're not subscribed to my podcast? He's like, no. He's like, get out of here. ESPN put out the statement.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Pat Bell's banned, basically, maybe not verbatim, saying that he's from ESPN on talking. At least. You got to realize when you get older and when they don't need you like they think that they need you and sometimes we all think that we're better than we are in our heads except for me I'm really that nigga I don't I'm not even gassing myself it It's really, I actually have to bring myself down
Starting point is 00:24:25 because it's my shit. It's the truth. You know, I don't think I'm better than I am. I'm really what I say I am. Everybody, it doesn't work for everybody. So,
Starting point is 00:24:36 so you had to dumb yourself down. Yeah, I dumb myself down a lot for a lot of shit. You know what I'm saying? You know, I do a lot of times. With i'm saying you know i do a lot of times i was just gonna add that was a fine take it was it was i was just gonna say like to his defense and to be fair it is a historic deal because it's one of the highest deals ever from a non-euro
Starting point is 00:25:03 league team and we don't know i don't know the cost of living in israel so like the way it weighs out it probably is a big amount but just in addition to everything else it is and that's a great point but is he really gonna live in israel or is he just going to get paid and come back home so when you say the cost of living that should be on top of the $4 million. Like, I don't know. If it ain't that much, throw it in. So I would be worried about coming back.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Listen, it's the same thing. There's very, very few players, and I'm not going to say few, few that I know, that stay in the city, country where they're staying at. Stephon Marbury is an exception. You know, Stephon Marbury
Starting point is 00:25:45 stayed in China, coached in China, has a statue in China. You know, that's kind of what Sebastian Telford was beefing about. He said,
Starting point is 00:25:55 you all over there and you ain't doing nothing out here in Coney Island, nigga, we need you out here. So, it's not a lot of players
Starting point is 00:26:02 that say, you know what, I'm going to end up staying here. I see a lot of players, though, that i will say that didn't make the nba and end up playing in australia and staying in australia but that's because they never really had a chance in the nba uh once you go there from college or the g league or wherever you kind of build your career out there so you're used to stand out there from the time you're 21 22 23
Starting point is 00:26:25 years old to the time you're 33 34 years old 35 years old so you know the beginning of your adult life is there when your adult life is here and then you have to go there towards the end of your career it's a little bit different my opinion okay and then moving along the lakers are adding lindsey harding to jj reddick's staff as the team's first female assistant coach in franchise history. She was the G League Coach of the Year for the Stockton Kings, and she played in the WNBA for nine years. So given all the addition to J.J. Redick's team, do you think that this is still enough for the Lakers?
Starting point is 00:27:00 And then how do you guys feel about her filling that position? I'm going to have to take a line from Keller. This is not the time. This is not the time to be trying everything. You know, there is a saying that too much change at once is not good. You know, and not that she shouldn't be a head coach or that she shouldn't be an assistant coach. But with everything is timing, you already got one episode with the LeBron and Bronny situation. Then you got the episode of a new coach in JJ Redick.
Starting point is 00:27:47 you got the episode of a new coach in JJ Redick, then now you add another wrinkle to it. We're trying to introduce a female coach and females should be able to coach. But in this particular instance, this is a very delicate situation. This could be the changing of the Lakers franchise. They're going into a new direction. And this is not the time to add all that change at once because it is a lot of change. She had a phenomenal career. Duke one time she was the Naismith player of the year. We know all the accolades that come with her, that she's a phenomenal basketball player, phenomenal basketball mind, phenomenal basketball mind,
Starting point is 00:28:27 phenomenal basketball assistant coach, head coach, did all of these things in a G League. We're not taking any of that away from her. You know, I watched her when she had long hair, when she cut her hair. You know, she's always been a tough player and did very well. But this is not the time to be doing that. It's like when Killer was talking about those players that he's talking about, no matter where they played at, this is not the stage. This is the Los Angeles Lakers. Now, if they win, prove me wrong. Prove me wrong. Prove me wrong.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Win it all. Win it all and prove me wrong. Pull this clip back up and say, you know what? Yeah, Mace, we won. It is what it is. Don't know what they talking about. Not it is what it is. But Mace doesn't know what he talk about.
Starting point is 00:29:19 I know I'm an expert. This is not the time to be doing this. spurt this is not the time to be doing this if you if you want to make up to black ladies um jj reddick there's a lot of other ways to do this this is not the time because that's all i heard define that make up what if you want to make up to black women, JJ Reddick. What? I'd just be saying, wow, stuff. You lost me there. No, you don't remember earlier in the year,
Starting point is 00:29:53 there was an incident that JJ Reddick said about a black young lady. So you feel like this is him trying to be like, I like y'all. Just for the audience that doesn't know, it's a black lady accusing J.J. Reddick of calling her a nigga. Yeah, so then if he spin back around and say, aha, I know how to make that go away. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I'm going, yeah, that was smart. And I throw something back to Duke. Pause. There's a lot of things going on he killed four birds with one stone that's a very good point if I called a black lady nigga
Starting point is 00:30:34 why would I hire another black lady all my friends are black yeah they just said you almost called a nigga why would i hire another nigga i'm not another black lady and you do get duke out the way i like that yeah but see for me is this one word and i think you forgot the word of the week and I'm ending my statement on that. Diversity. Diversity.
Starting point is 00:31:14 The word of the week. So JJ Reddick got his back. He said, Paul, he's a killer. You going diversity? I'm going to one-up you. Diversity is back on you now. This is the word of the week diversity but I do like what you made
Starting point is 00:31:32 get another black person in there you're a lovely young queen so I'm not going to call you a nigga if you was a nigga I'd call you a nigga but hire another lovely black queen on the staff, hit Duke off, basically clean up the mess.
Starting point is 00:31:49 But I'm going to go with there being diverse. But let me ask you this, Killer. Yeah, yeah. Do you think it's time for this, though? Today has been not time for a lot of things. Is this another, it's not the time for that. If you want to be honest, is this the time to hire JJ Redick? That's the real question.
Starting point is 00:32:17 As the Lakers organization, do we got time for that right now? That's the point really. Is it really time for that right now? That's the point, really. Is it really time for that? Yeah, I mean. This is definitely a whole trial for the Lakers as a whole with everything they've got going on. So we will see what happens for them in this upcoming season. With that being said, we're going to go to break.
Starting point is 00:32:41 And when we return, we will discuss Jontae Porter. Don't go anywhere. city say it's only money it's only money ain't no silly gucci baby it's only money why you like it funny welcome back now let's get into our underdog fantasy picks of the day so fast forwarding to football on september 5th 2024 the Ravens will play the Chiefs. Underdog fantasy has Lamar Jackson at 237.5 passing yards. Do you have him higher or lower, Mace? Hmm. Higher.
Starting point is 00:33:35 You're going to definitely want revenge. No, he might run for a lot of yards, too. That nigga be taking off. Damn, this is a good one, Underdog, because we're for a lot of yards too. That nigga be taking off. I'm not, damn, this is a good one underdog. Cause we haven't, we're not even close to that game.
Starting point is 00:33:49 Um, so I can't even get, uh, a grass pause on what I'm thinking. Cause you know, Lamar, he's one of them niggas that'll run for 145 yards too and pass for 200. I'm going to go higher as well though.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Okay. Pat Mahomes is at 264 and a half passing yards. Do you have him higher or lower, Cam? Higher. Title two.
Starting point is 00:34:14 Higher. Okay. And Travis Kelsey's at 72 and a half receiving yards. Do you have him higher or lower, Mace? Many again.
Starting point is 00:34:21 72 and a half. Yeah, higher. More on lower. lower he gotta do it if if his boo is there he gotta go higher that's what I'm saying too much boo loving
Starting point is 00:34:33 it's not the time it's not the time it's not the time it's not the time and if she ain't there I don't know I don't know y'all see how this starts
Starting point is 00:34:44 you know he's he's getting a little older. He's reminding me he had a great season last year. Of course, they won the Super Bowl. Big contributor factor, but we gotta realize tight ends, Paws, at his age, start to wind down. We've seen it with Gronk. Tony Gonzalez kind of defeated that
Starting point is 00:35:02 purpose. He kind of played a little longer than them guys, but guys built like that pause. It starts slowing down. That's why you only got a two year extension. I'm not saying only, but they're like, let's see where you at in two years. Why is tight ends a pause?
Starting point is 00:35:20 Like that's literally his job. Like what else is he supposed to do? That just is a seven-minute line. It's almost like, what? Like he's a tight end. Like I don't, there's no other way to put that. Pause that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Download the Underdog Fantasy app and you can make your picks too. And shout out to tight ends. Cause what? Okay. So Jontae Porter, the player recently banned from the nba for placing bets on basketball and giving information to a better to improve their odds was denied permission to resume
Starting point is 00:35:53 his career in greece given his situation and what happened do you guys think he'll ever get another chance to play play ball we know it can't be in the NBA anymore and then should he get another chance that's a good one he should get a chance but maybe not maybe not now maybe not now I think it's something you have to revisit probably after some years you know when you first when you first get sentenced it's probably hard even in crime to to to get an appeal right away you know what i'm saying sometimes people have to do a little bit of time and then appeal so it's kind of the same with this is it seems too fresh for him to be trying to get back into the game after what he's done because it was very horrendous. And I don't know if you could trust a player that's going to do that type of stuff, give
Starting point is 00:36:50 their information out, help people win in that type of way. It just compromises everything about a franchise. And it's not the time. You're in the wrong time and to be trying to get back in any league right now, just chill, just chill. Go somewhere, work, hang out, call your brother, find something else you could do. Give back to the community.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Probably coach some little kids. Let people see you in a different light and then return. That probably would work better. I think everything you said was great and i do agree with it but i'm just gonna be him why y'all worrying about what's going on in america i didn't do it with y'all what do good what do what why you can't get back in greece they didn't say why yeah i'll find it basically because what he did in america i didn't do it to y'all niggas man y'all keep minding american business they't do it to y'all niggas man y'all keep
Starting point is 00:37:45 minding american business they don't fuck with y'all anyway secondly mom dad is somebody gonna tell mike to say something for me like yo mike you ain't gonna say nothing i'll be bringing up everything i did i snitch on you when you did this mike mike ain't said a damn word for his brother niggas don't even know that this is michael porter jr brother nobody even knows this Did I snitch on you when you did this? Mike ain't said a damn word for his brother. Niggas don't even know that this is Michael Porter Jr.'s brother. Nobody even knows this. And his father was coaching them niggas too. Nobody knows.
Starting point is 00:38:13 So nobody know me. Yeah. So nobody know. Nothing. I can't get. He's a good kid. He made a mistake. Let's figure it out.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Mace made some great points. Give back. Do some charity work. Go to talk to people about why it's wrong it out. Mace made some great points. Give back, do some charity work, go to talk to people about why it's wrong for gambling. NBA is just, it's going to be a dub, you know, it's going to be a dub,
Starting point is 00:38:38 but maybe showing this charity work that you possibly could do will help you get back to Australia or Europe or whatever league that you was in previously before you got to the NBA. And what if Mike, and what if Mike tell him, Killer, I told you this? You know one of them times you told somebody something and they ain't listen to you, you kept telling them, and then he finally got, yo, I'm telling you, you're going to get caught. And when you get caught, don't put me in it. And then they finally get caught.
Starting point is 00:39:04 And now they're like, yo, you ain't coming to my defense. Yeah. What would you say to that? If Michael Porter Jr. told his brother that? Mm-hmm. And what would I say if I'm who? Because you said that Michael, his brother, his brother, nobody's coming to his defense.
Starting point is 00:39:23 And Michael Porter Jr. just told me the little brother, why are you bringing up old shit? Yo, this ain't the time. This ain't the time. This ain't the time when I really needed you. This is when I really needed you. Yeah, but I told you, okay, we get that. I know I contradicted myself.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Look, I don't need that now. I don't need that. I wouldn't have done that to you. Exactly, man. Okay, and then just to add, so basically after the charges, he had to forfeit his passport to be allowed to travel
Starting point is 00:40:01 and reside in Greece. The judge denied and his sentencing is for Decembercember 18th and he can face 41 to 51 months in prison because of all this yeah do the time on like this ain't the time to do the time yeah that's fucked up yeah this is to me like that's that's a lot like and i know you shouldn't do it trust me but i just feel like there's a lot of other like things but i don't know okay so reports
Starting point is 00:40:34 are saying the wmba new media deal will pay them 2.2 billion over the next 11 years as part of their deal with NBC, Amazon, and Disney. What do you think of them getting paid? I think half of the money was Caitlyn and half was Angel Reese. That's what they've been saying, right, Stat? You like that? That takes that? Half of this was Angel Reese. I'm trolling.
Starting point is 00:41:03 You know I don't believe that. I do believe Angel Reese played a major part. I think her balling has been phenomenal. I think this class between her and Caitlyn has really got a lot of eyeballs on the game for women. of eyeballs on the game for women. And Teresa Weatherspoon, shout out to her, doing an amazing job with the Chicago Sky. This has turned out to be very profitable, and I think they deserve it. It's about time. So many years, there have been so many phenomenal women basketball players in the WNBA. I think of Angel, the first Angel that played down there in Atlanta. She was phenomenal. Swoops, Cheryl Miller.
Starting point is 00:41:56 I could just go so far back. And if I missed your name out, then there's no really point that I'm trying to make against you because there's been so many phenomenal athletes. And it's great that they finally got their pay because with the league getting more money, then that means the players are going to get more money. And I'm looking for that to multiply. So one day we'll see women making millions of dollars to play in the WNBA. They won't have to go overseas to get the other portion of their money
Starting point is 00:42:25 because over the years, I've heard about those woes. You've seen them woes when Brittany Griner got locked sentenced to nine years with a vape pen. Glad she's home. I can't go off what reports are saying.
Starting point is 00:42:47 I'm not doing it. I'm not doing the source. So they say, let me know when the deal's done. They always, we just heard Pat Bev say they gave them everything they wanted. When the deal's done, let me know. I can't go off what reports are saying. Nah, I'm not jacking that no more.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Now, hopefully they're not playing with these women like that. Hopefully that they get what they're supposed to get. Angel Reese, like Mace said, Caitlyn Clark, and plus all the people that's paved the way that we're not talking about that's not even playing anymore. Rossi, Sue Bird, Sven Cash. Rossi's still playing, but yeah., Sue Burrs, Swin Cash. But yeah,
Starting point is 00:43:27 you've talked about Cheryl Swoops and Lisa Leslie and all the players that, huh? Yes, Candice Park. She just recently retired. I'm talking about people who play
Starting point is 00:43:37 that kids don't even remember. Yeah, yeah, exactly. So, I just want to salute them as well because a lot of people tend to forget and i'm not just talking about nba that as time seems to be on no matter what it is people are getting paid more for the same job um the people paid to paved the way for by ridiculous amounts of money. We just talked about Homeboy from Detroit getting $224 million. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:12 And Michael Joy made $111 million his whole career. You know, we sit there and talk about Kyrie Irving has the best handle we ever seen, but he had to watch Allen Iverson. He had to watch Isaiah Thomas. He has to watch Aaron One or Sham God or anybody else. And we always tend to forget the people who paved the way. So these people are going to reap these benefits that these new young ladies are getting.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Same way that the old NBA players are going to reap the benefits that the new NBA players are getting. Same way, you know, to me, I think I came out for us, Mase, too. And so far, the best era of hip-hop you could come out at me personally because the niggas before us was getting jerked. And then our era was kind of getting jerked. I'm pausing this whole thing, was getting jerked.
Starting point is 00:45:04 And then niggas after us figured out digital and streaming and to where they didn't necessarily need a record company and they could get their money through TuneCore, DistroKids, companies like Empire, shout out to my man Ghazi, or Cinematic, shout out to my man Shipes, to where they're not taking a big percentage. And now big major companies only want to with the kids that's on fire on the internet so now it's like they don't want to build an artist from the ground up if you got a hundred
Starting point is 00:45:34 million views they want to with you if you've got this many followers or friends or instagram or twitter or tick tock they want to with you and like meli mel in them ain't gonna reap the benefits. Now, the reason I say that the best ever for us is because for some reason we like nostalgia and niggas my age is popping with the young bitches.
Starting point is 00:45:56 Along with the bitches that's my age as well. So now I got bitches that's like 22 to 57 just fucking with me. You know? I don't know what I did to these young girls. I tell them, I'll fuck your life up, shorty. Stay away from me. This really ain't for you.
Starting point is 00:46:13 But I respect that they respect me. You know what I'm saying? They feeling the nigga. So that's why I say our era's the best. Pause for me. Pause for a minute. You got to think of a player like Zion. They ask Zion what's his favorite album. He says
Starting point is 00:46:27 Ray, they die by Biggie Smalls. He wasn't even born when that album came out, but because of streaming, he's able to download it and hear it, and now no matter who's out, he's saying that's his favorite album. So I think we came up in a great era. I just think that we came up in a great era, and I'm very blessed, and I want to
Starting point is 00:46:43 thank God for that as well because to still be getting outside of what we're doing now to be getting offers that we're getting for music is just incredible but shout out to the ladies I hope this deal does go through Okay and then speaking of the WNBA Caitlin
Starting point is 00:47:00 Clark beat the WNBA record for most assists at 19 in the Fever's loss versus the Wings. What do you guys think of the historic stack that she made? Well, I mean, add me to the list. Kim was just talking about of experts. I told you she was going to have all those assists about a day or two ago. So this is this is phenomenal time for Caitlin Clark. It seemed like she's turning
Starting point is 00:47:26 that corner and she's becoming the player that she's supposed to be. So that's good for the WNBA because that's just going to make more money for them. So shout out to the WNBA. Shout out to the Fever and shout out to a team starting to have a back. They're playing together. It looked like they're starting to do the things they should have done from the tip off of the season. And I think I'm ready to see them battle for that last spot in the playoffs. I think that'll make it even more iconic that one of them get bumped out of the playoffs as they're playing each other, though. I think that would be great. that one of them get bumped out of the playoffs as they're playing each other, though. I think that would be great.
Starting point is 00:48:11 It would add to the mystery and add to the legacy of them being arch rivals. Did they put out that list of top 100? I see they put in over 25, too. Not 1 through 10. So it's like about 20, 15 a day. Looking there. So right now they have 26 to 35. All right. What was the actual question?
Starting point is 00:48:36 Yeah, Kaitlyn Clark broke the WNBA record for most assists at 19 in their loss versus the Wings. She's going to break her assists every night. She's going to first person with yellow nails every night it's a new record they're gonna make a reaction yes yo first person with a ponytail to make a left-handed lay up from the right side like she's always they're gonna make up stuff for the record now 19 assists is nothing to sneeze at and act like it's not phenomenal it's true it's true this is dope but
Starting point is 00:49:05 Caitlin Clark's they're gonna make up shit for her to break every night I actually seen her play against Minnesota the other day and I want to tell y'all something I'm disgusted I was really disgusted with you guys in Minnesota and I don't know how it went and I don't know the drive and her fans or whatever but for her to get a standing ovation in Minnesota and she's doing like this like she's at a home game and everybody's standing on their feet clapping I would be pissed the fuck off if I
Starting point is 00:49:34 was the team that played with Minnesota I was seeing that a few nights ago I said she's superwoman she's superwoman how do you be at the stadium murder and be like yeah let's gowoman she's superwoman see how do you be at the way stadium murder and be like yeah let's go let's go and everybody's standing there with it fucking clapping their hands you got the juice now
Starting point is 00:49:54 okay and then let's talk about this espn list so they're ranking the top 100 athletes since 2000. They have not released the top 10 yet. Right now, as of right now, they have 26 through 35 released. 26 is Peyton Manning. 27 is Randy Moss.
Starting point is 00:50:15 28 is Jokic. But I just want to see what you guys are thinking. Who do you guys think would be one through three? What are we thinking?
Starting point is 00:50:27 Yeah, when you have a list like this talking about the top athletes, it depends on what you're deeming for this criteria. Because sometimes you could pick the top three freak athletes, Pauls, that just had, you know, um, supernatural strength or supernatural speed. And, um, there's some names that come to mind, but I don't know if I will put them at one through three, but I had a whole list of people like Vince Carter, um, because they're saying since 2000 was Vince Carter 2000. Yeah, he was definitely a great athlete. And always talking steroids because I got a I got a top five steroids team. If you want to list your top five. Mark McGuire. Oh, yeah. My top five steroids team,
Starting point is 00:51:27 because that's what I was thinking when I was writing this down. I'm saying, are we talking? Not to cut you off, and don't forget where you at. Keep your thought. Larry just hired Jose Canseco. For real? Yeah, he got a baseball show coming out. Starts filming Friday.
Starting point is 00:51:40 That's fire. I had Canseco on my list, but then, then why are you going to tell me, Oh, them niggas was on steroids. I said, man, I got Mark McGuire,
Starting point is 00:51:50 Alex Rodriguez, the, my soul. So my steroids, you should have a story. Yeah. My steroids team is crazy. Um,
Starting point is 00:52:01 um, Marion Jones. We talking. Ryan Garcia. My team is great. Canelo might be top 10 but I got Ryan in my top 5. The left hook was crazy. Barry Bond, but they ain't prove Barry. They ain't prove Barry. He's on the fence. Tune in to the show.
Starting point is 00:52:34 We got some stuff. Okay, alright. Y'all snitching, Larry? Y'all snitching? I'm not snitching nothing. I put it like this. Put it like this Jose Canseco Say he don't give a fuck
Starting point is 00:52:47 He don't give a fuck He said go He said He said he don't give a When's it start Next We come out next Wednesday It's called
Starting point is 00:52:55 Off My Chest Pause Okay That's what's up Off My Chest That was wild That's what's up Move the bash brother
Starting point is 00:53:03 You got a lot of shit Off his You got a lot of shit on this? You're going to get a lot of shit on this chest? Who came up with that? Who came up with that off your chest? We're not getting on all of that. We just know it's going to be fire. We popping mad shit.
Starting point is 00:53:14 We're pulling up on niggas. We're doing all kinds of shit over here. OK. I've been hanging with Killer too long. Yeah. Yeah, that was crazy. He's pulling up on niggas, Paul. So I would go Mayweathers.
Starting point is 00:53:27 I would go Kobe. My list is right here now. LeBron, Tiger Woods, Serena, Michael Phipps. He was high too, right? Michael Phipps guy. He was high, yeah. Yeah. I had Randy Marsden and Pacquiao.
Starting point is 00:53:46 So who do you think would be one? And who do you think would be two? That's it. I mean, it's the time. Like Killis said, they're going to go LeBron. You know they're not going to say Mayweathers. But he's right up there. I think they're one and two.
Starting point is 00:54:03 Mayweathers and LeBron. Then you could put Serena right there. It might be ladies month. You know, it might just want to know. You never know. That's what I'm saying. They might want to put Serena at the top.
Starting point is 00:54:14 It depends on who's writing this. I saw that movie. Killer told me to watch King Richard. I was really, that was a really good movie. They better not put Ronda Rousey number one, I know that. She won't be.
Starting point is 00:54:29 She won't. I used to love Ronda Rousey. I used to stand up to watch her fight. Till the girl kicked her head off. Cam, who do you think it would be one at least? I got it. So this is what I think.
Starting point is 00:54:49 One and two, and this is not my one and two, but I think they're going to finish one and two, is either LeBron or Tom Brady, one or the other. For me, my list would be top three. LeBron, Tom Brady, and Floyd Mayweather number one because we're looking over. It's not what you've done in one or two years. We're looking over what you've done over since 2000 and 2020. LeBron had went to the Eastern Conference Finals 10 times in a row.
Starting point is 00:55:20 That's just a fact. He's won four championships with three different franchises he's still averaging last year as well last year doesn't count but let's say the last year they won was the bubble was 2020 so that was 2020 so 17 years that he's been the nba from 2003 to 2020 um four championships 10 straight eastern conferences conferences, four league MVPs when he probably should have got it more than four times and still playing at a high level, even though he was still 34, 35, 36 years old at the time. So he's three for me.
Starting point is 00:55:59 Tom Brady comes in in 2001, first year, wins the Super Super Bowl wins three out of four Super Bowls um goes to 10 Super Bowls in between that span which means anybody in the AFC has had to share the other 10 years 10 years out of that he fucking goes to the Super Bowl whether he wins or not they're the AFC champions and that means you have to split that between Peyton Manning maybe two years or Ben Roethlisberger gets two. You got to think about how many teams or how many quarterbacks didn't get a chance to go because he was on some Michael Jordan shit. And I say Michael Jordan, but excuse me, get out the way Tom is playing.
Starting point is 00:56:40 How many years did they win the AFC North? Were they playing the AFC North, I believe? Who's that? Huh? Who's that? Patriots. That's the East. East, pardon me. I apologize to our audience. Just forget about it if you're the Jets, the Dolphins, or the
Starting point is 00:56:57 Buffalo Bills. You're never winning that. You may have won that two times the whole time he was there. I'll give you three because right now like i said i didn't really do due diligence i'm just going on top of my head you just forget about winning the division that's just not going to happen when tom brady's playing so tom brady would be my number two and floyd mayweather which is my number one which he won't be like i said i think it'd be tom brady lebron but for me he's number one um he retired undefeated um grossed a lot of money i had i had my notes here real quick and i'll start
Starting point is 00:57:33 from 2005 and this is just all pay-per-view fights but toro gaudi 16.5 million zaps zuta 16.8 million, Baltimore 16 million, Delaware 136 million, Ricky Haddon 50 million, Marquez 55 million, Shane Mosley 78 million, Victor Ortiz 79 million, Cotto 95 million, Guerrero 60 million, Canelo 158 million,
Starting point is 00:57:59 Madonna 58 million, Madonna 260 million, Pacquiao 400 million dollars. I'm talking about what those fights generated, just so you understand. Birdo, $28 million. Mayweather, Conor McGregor, $370 million. Another guy named Paul, $50 million.
Starting point is 00:58:19 His grand total since 2005 to 2020 is $1.7 billion in generated gross. You can't get substituted out. You can't tag anybody in. You can't take no days off because your leg is hurting in the middle of the fight. You can't sit here and get low management. This is one person doing this all by himself for 20, and this is longer than 20 years. I'm just going in between 2000 and 2020.
Starting point is 00:58:50 1.7 billion. That's only the pay-per-view fights. Floyd Mayweather is my number one fighter in between that. I mean, my number one athlete in between that time. That was good. And no timeouts. Yeah, yeah. You can't, when you're boxing, you can't, there's nothing you can say. Unless you get hit in the nuts pause. That's it. Floyd's your number one in my book, kid.
Starting point is 00:59:09 All right. Well, both great arguments. I'm curious to see what the top 10 list entails. In the comments down below, let us know who you guys would put one through three. But that is all the time that we have for today. Thanks for watching. And as always, it is what it is. What you want, nigga? Everything nigga supersize Two big necks Like when they doing them two for five
