Starting point is 00:01:05 cam and today we are joined with our analyst marise claret mo what's going on killer how you're doing this morning man i'm good how y'all all as well good to hear that good to see y'all okay marise got some things coming up this weekend so we're going to start with that because it is rivalry week Ohio State versus Michigan, but we know Ryan Day has a one and four record against Michigan. So Maurice, is this y'all's year? How are we feeling? How you think it's going to look? Yes, our year. What do you expect me to say? Yeah, no, we got to get it done. We're going up to Michigan on Friday. You know, we play on Saturday. Got to get it done on a field. you know I was at practice or practice last night yesterday I had a great day of practice
Starting point is 00:01:58 so anytime I see practice going well I feel good about our chances you know on the weekend so got to get it done they beat us last year on the field you know the melee broke out fight at the end of the game it was mayhem but you know they can beat this the last few years I take my ails like a man but you know we got to get it done on the road this year you know this is interesting for me because you know know, I love to support Ohio State, but Big Blue is home, you know, like Stad says, she's in the portal, but, you know, Stad, I got to use your take on this. I don't know, I know how killer's going to feel about this, but I want to support Ohio State, you know, I still didn't get my
Starting point is 00:02:42 ring yet, but I got, um, let me think about this, because I ain't get my ring yet. Go ahead, Killer. So what you said? What you're saying? I'm just saying what you say. You know, I'm Ohio through and through, but, you know. Just threw it through. Through and through is crazy.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Through and through is wow, yo. He just said. Now you get a ring. Now he threw and through. He had to come back home to Ohio, you know. Killer, what do you think? The thing about it is this, right? This is really just basically,
Starting point is 00:03:28 and I expect Ohio to win. They've been number one all season. Defense is impeccable. But this is more about seating for Ohio. Even if they lose, they're still going to be in the playoffs. They lost last year, I won a national championship. So sometimes this, even though the main goal is to win a national championship, sometime so let me ask you this real quick more because i've been making i've been keeping up with
Starting point is 00:03:55 ohio is michigan ranked yeah michigan ranked 18th they 10th no no they're ranked 18th oh 18 so right so right now so i got my okay i'm sorry yes two things going on there they they want to win to get into the college football playoffs and we want to win to get to the big 10 championship so it's a whole different set of like, you know, outside the rivalry where both teams are playing to get to the Big Ten championship and then they plan to get into the college football playoffs.
Starting point is 00:04:26 That's why I asked you that question because if they let's, well, now that you laid out the scenario, thank you for that. But let's just say they wasn't right. This could be their national college championship. Sometimes it's like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Like if we, as long as we beat Ohio State, that was good enough for us. Like I said, you know, of course I'm exaggerating, but it's almost like that. So, yeah. It's like that. Yeah. So if Michigan wins,
Starting point is 00:04:54 they're going to be in that top 12 because you just beat the number one team in the country. And that's why this game is really, really important for Michigan. Besides outside of the pride and, you know, the robbery and everything else. But this is really important moving forward because now if you beat Ohio State or if you're Michigan, you have a chance to see them again in the playoffs. And then possibly possibly be. them or they beat you whatever it is you might get to see them again but um you know the way
Starting point is 00:05:23 ohio state's been looking this year you know matt patricia it's almost cheating man i know we got NFL coaches that's coached in college before and that so on and so forth but god damn he's running the NFL defense out there and it's looking real bad for a lot of teams not just michigan this week coming up but the way he's running that defense i got to salute to matt Patricia, because he got them boys looking like everybody on defense should be ready to go to the NFL. Me, of course, I'm going with Ohio State, but stat just laid it out.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Your man, Day Day, he don't look good. Everybody got a nickname. Day Day Day. Day ain't late, one and four. So we'll see what happens. Go ahead, but what? The record's the record, nigga. Yeah, listen to me, so I can't,
Starting point is 00:06:10 so I said before that, I take my elders, a man he's my guy you know what I said hey look we got to get it done there's no excuses you know what I mean and so I'm not an excuse type of person we didn't get it done they beat us last here they beat us a few years before that and so in order for us to get our bragging racks back we got to go get it done on they field that's just what it is you know okay that's a microphone I'm about to say I know I know you ain't going with the quarter zip fat no on your on your shirt that's what you was cordisip yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:06:42 Yeah, yeah, I thought my thoughts on my eyes. I said, I know Mo ain't go quarter-sip one, nigga. Oh, that is a quarter-zip. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I got to clean it up a little bit. Oh, what, quarter-zip? Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Oh, shit, that's crazy. Go ahead, Mo. It's a nigga fashionable. Wait, so y'all don't like the quarters-zip trends? The thing about it is a trend. You know what the thing about it is that for me? Let me ask you this. Not actually, let me tell you this.
Starting point is 00:07:16 It's hard when you're a trendsetter. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? When you're a trendsetter, it's hard to follow trends. My thing is when everybody just start doing what everybody else do, I can't jack it, my nigga. You like the court is it? Yeah, because it's tough.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Yeah, the reason why, because you're in that world, you think it's cool to follow. Well, not. Not necessarily, but I think it's a good change. Like I think quarterships instead of like everybody thought they should be doing like it's good, but I don't think it has to be a trend because me like when they started doing like the cowboy trend and like, you know, like just when certain events came around
Starting point is 00:07:56 and do it because it was a trend, like I was gonna wear stuff like that anyways. But that's how I felt about it. I don't know, man. I'm not saying, I'm not saying you lying. I'm just saying why is it cool because everybody wants to wear cool? I'm not jacking. Look, me and murder clean up on this show. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:08:15 Like, no, listen, last thing, niggas expected us. I was speaking, shout to Max Kellerman. I was speaking to Max Kellerman about a week ago. Him and Rich Paul, they got a podcast coming out on Netflix and Spotify. Make sure y'all check that out after the holidays. I was speaking to Max Kellerman, and he was like, yo, you and Mace dress up in suits every day
Starting point is 00:08:36 and go talk about sports. Y'all have the most incredible show in the world. Y'all clean up and then y'all be yourself. And I'm like, yo, who did that? That's why we started it. You know what I'm saying? Don't get it fucked up. Niggas been wearing suits to work for sports shows,
Starting point is 00:08:54 but they ain't been giving it up like this. And look, who says, pause? Everybody. It's not a show. It's not nowhere you can go without a show, not just sports anywhere. You'll pause. your pause, your pause.
Starting point is 00:09:11 That's crazy. Motherfuckus stats sent me the video the other day of a whole ESPN cast dancing on TikTok, like we dance, like she'd be dancing. So it's hard pause to see niggas following shit when you, the ones who you, they usually follow. Don't get me wrong, see, nigga like me, I'm not mad, I don't want you to take this the wrong way, said.
Starting point is 00:09:32 I don't, I think that I'm mad to call this zip shirt. I can, and I'm not talking about Mone even because he's Ohio State out, you know, he's representing, his school and where he works at, so forth, so forth. But it's hard to do what other people do and be the nigger that you are, you know what I'm saying? The nigger that I am, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:09:51 Like, yo, that's the last thing. Me and Mace had a conversation, and I don't know what part of Harlem Cinnish from, man. Since that it's cool to pull up to the club with the same kind of car and the same color. And I'm arguing with this nigga, like, yo, so we both, he said, Cam, because I got a tank. Cam, if I pulled up in a tank,
Starting point is 00:10:10 the tank like you are same color and everything. That ain't fly, said? Nah, it's not fly, bro. Like, it's not fly at all, bro, man. I like, I think it's dumb. Yeah, I think that's fly. We argue so much, I said, I'm calling Mace. I didn't even want to bother Mace.
Starting point is 00:10:28 I think Mace's on the East Coast. That'd be two in the morning. I don't bother Mace after a certain hour. I called him, he picked up. Mace picked up in his sleep. I said, yo, bro, I'm sorry to bother you, man. Would you be mad if you had a green Lamborghini, and then we outside the club,
Starting point is 00:10:48 and I pull up in a green Lamborghini, you may say, the same color Lamborghini? Yeah, I'd be mad. It doesn't make sense. Why can't you pick another couple? It's a single man, I hung up, so sorry to bother you this late murder. Shit don't make no sense to me, neither.
Starting point is 00:11:11 I just had to call you because he's trying to act like I'm crazy. Sorry to be so long about the quarter zip. But you know, anything with me with quarter zip is probably referring to weed. Stay with a quarter zip. Oh, God. I will say that's a good assessment,
Starting point is 00:11:28 and I'm going to kind of fix what I said. I think what I'm trying to say is I think it's good that younger people want to dress up nice because I'm so used to like the Valenciauga boots and the chrome hearts. which isn't a problem, but people don't be wanting to look clean nowadays, I feel like.
Starting point is 00:11:43 So I like that people are now switching it up. Fortunately, it's at the cost of a trend, though, so. I ain't knocking it, listen, man, I ain't knocking, niggas, and I like the, I like it. I like, if they like it, I love it. But, Stad, I remember you told about you, like the nap, you had dreadnickers. Now you like that.
Starting point is 00:11:59 I mean, I, you know, things do change. I will say that. I can't. Things definitely change. I ain't going to front, that was a couple years ago. When sexy rat first came out, you, yeah, you liked all that shit. All of it, but, you know, take a change. But what I will say is this, it's hard to disguise it now
Starting point is 00:12:21 because you don't know who wowing and who don't. You ain't. They get it with cortis, they're not only that. They said they're not drinking coffee, neither is matcha now, murder. Yeah, that's wow. Yeah, man. Macha is the thing. Okay, so speaking about rivalries as a whole,
Starting point is 00:12:37 Do you guys think rivalries at large exist anymore across all sporting platforms? Then Maris, aside from Michigan and Ohio State, which ones are your favorite? And then which ones do you kind of think became a little dead over the years? Yeah, when I was thinking about this, I had to ask myself, like, outside of, you know, the Ohio State, Michigan, and you may have, they call the Iron Bowl with Alabama and Arbor. I just don't see too many, like, significant rivalries like you used to have before. And for whatever reason, I started thinking about, back in the day, I remember when Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa was going back and forth over, like, the home run derby. And then I thought about the Knicks versus the Pacers back in the 90s.
Starting point is 00:13:19 And I thought about the Bulls and all the robbers they had with the pistons and so on and so forth. And I was asking myself, like, you know, Lakers versus the Celtics. And I said, man, with everybody wanting to be so cool and everybody like being so transient moving around so much, I said that that kind of killed. just a rivalry game in general and I just didn't know I can't think of any that are significant to me anymore and I don't know if you know either y'all feel like the same way uh with just rivalries and difference in general be it player versus player or team versus team that's all you look forward to anymore yeah I think when they come to college there's still the rivalry of who can we say Duke versus North Carolina that is definitely a rivalry rivalry that has gone no
Starting point is 00:14:07 over the years. It seemed like player after player comes and they've been going back and forth year after year. Duke dominate one year. North Carolina dominating this year. It just goes back and forth each time. And I think that's a robbery that has stood the test of time. When I think of robberies that are no more, I would think of like St. John's and I'm using college teams in basketball, when you think of St. John's in Georgetown or something like that, it doesn't even exist anymore. But I think there's so many rivalries, even when it comes to the NBA, now you have what, the Knicks and Boston is now becoming a robbery. I think that's a robbery that'll be around for quite some time as long as they have good players.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Yeah, more, that was a great topic to bring up because I don't even think there's no rivalries. But that was a great one, like Mason, North Carolina. To me, the reason why there's no more robberies, even with that, is because nobody stays basketball. I'm talking about basketball-wise. You know, when you had North Carolina and you had Duke back then, back in the days, niggas were staying three, four years. Even when you think about, even when you think about UNLV,
Starting point is 00:15:22 I'm not saying, you know, they was dominating. Natives, say, three, four years. You think about Michigan, the Fad F5 against Duke. you know niggas jaylon rose chris well they stayed a couple years niggas ain't staying no more you know you may have louisville in kentucky maybe and the NBA oh yeah that's a definite rival yeah you know what I can jack it because nobody stays to have a rivalry of course the crowd makes it a rivalry when you know you're talking to me it's more about the crowd hating the other crowd even like when you said with the iron bowl you know uh Auburn and um alabendalea
Starting point is 00:16:01 It's more the crowd than the players. It's the, this city hates, this town hates this town. It ain't about the players rivalry no more. Basketball, that shit went out the window too, because players are too friendly with each other. Everybody cool. I was sitting there when I seen this question before we started to show, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:16:20 yo, that is a great question. Because who the fuck ain't cool with nobody? You know what I'm saying? And then you go to boxing. You can't even get one fight, let alone three. You think about packing. and Marquez. They fought four times, four different times.
Starting point is 00:16:36 You got niggas who fought two, three times in boxing to make it a robbery. We can't get one fight from the niggas we want to see fight. So I really think the robbery shit is dead when it comes to the people actually supposed to be doing the robbery, the players or the fighters or something like that. The crowd and the towns may consider a rivalry, but amongst the athletes, I don't see it anymore, personally. Let me add a quick. Unless you still want to go stat.
Starting point is 00:17:04 No, go ahead, Maurice. Yeah, I would just say, is there any way to restore it? You know, I mean, or is this one of those things in sports? You know, we like to lose stuff over time and times just changed and it is what it is. I was asking myself, is there any way to restore what used to make sports sports? Like, I think rivalries and fan bases is what makes sports. So that's essentially what I was asking. Yeah, I think to Cam's point, the teams, when it comes at a lot,
Starting point is 00:17:30 those teams the players will have to stay i think when the real rivalries like like we were stating earlier there's a hatred between these two cities there's a hatred between these two schools when you think of north california and duke this is right down the road these this is like you don't dare even bring up that name over here and but over the years people have been dating folks from duke that go to North Carolina. So the irony of that is the rivalry is definitely watered down, you know, when you think of that. But a way to get it back is players got to stay in school and folks got to stop switching up. Like I remember it was a rivalry between Florida State and Florida or, you know, Florida and Georgia. That rivalry is gone nowhere. People see you in the supermarket
Starting point is 00:18:23 and ask you for real they don't even know they don't even know me they just see me with the hoodie on they go for real like you're you're in georgia with a florida hoodie on and and for a for a Caucasian lady to ask you that in the in the supermarket is crazy right i'm in there with my flip-flop she's like did you have to wear that today out of all of the hoodies in the world that's a real rivalry yeah You're 100% correct. When you can't mind your business. That's when it's real.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Listen, and that's correct. Listen, I remember when Johnny Manzo was in college, went to Texas A&M. He went to a Texas party, and they kicked them out. And he was hot. He was just one of them started a quarterback, but he pulled up to one of them frat parties. And I remember they had the nigger on tape,
Starting point is 00:19:22 and they was like, yo, they don't go fuck about you. Johnny, get the fuck about it. And actually, physically, like, not through, pardon me, not, like, kicked them in the ass and nothing. But, like, you know how the police grab you by the arm? And niggas was like, you're going to have to get up. Yeah, they want you to go. Yeah, we're going to have to get you up out of here.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Like, where is that at? You know what I'm saying? But that's back to what I was saying earlier. That's more of the cities, the towns, than the players. The players don't have hatred for each other And the more you listen to players or athletes, they'll say, that's your old-school niggas mentality. Like, yo, you know, you?
Starting point is 00:20:01 You guys ain't on all that. They'll act like you bugging. Like, yo, man, y'all want to fight each other. That's all good. We're here to play basketball and football and all that other shit. You see, niggins after the game, trading jerseys, then fucking taking pitches? Yeah, that's great.
Starting point is 00:20:17 How are you going to have a rivalry? Sign my jersey, and I'm a sign yours. Yeah, and then don't even wait to get in the little. When they're on the field struggling to get the shit off the shoulder pads, pause, and then they take a picture with each other. How the fuck you're going to have a rivalry when the best players is doing that with each other?
Starting point is 00:20:32 It ain't going to happen, man, nigga. Yeah, I remember when I saw D. Wade do that. I think he was one of the first players I saw do it. And I was like, wow, like, this is interesting. Yeah. And I, and, yeah, my name, it's just not going, to me, it's not coming back if that's your mentality. I think it's going to take a next generation,
Starting point is 00:20:51 like a nigga in the next. 10 years to be like, y'all, I'm not here to be cool with none of y'all niggas. You know what I'm saying? To me, Jai had that, but it's, it's off, it's too much off the court for it to last on the court. Like, I like that. I'm not saying they put those mush Clay Thompson and nothing,
Starting point is 00:21:11 but I like when the nigga come over to give you a five and like me, like, nah. Nah, I ain't with all that. Keep moving. Yeah, all that. Yeah, all that, my nigga. Like, my nigga, like, nigger, like, nigger. Yeah, nigga Charles Barkley and them niggins used to be like,
Starting point is 00:21:24 Michael Joy used to come to his restaurant when he's Chicago. Fuck, we looked like going to his restaurant when we get to Chicago. No, playing mine, then Mike, he's saying Mike playing mine games. You know what I'm saying? That shit don't exist no more. You think about that shit when niggas said Mike had the flu, the flu game. Niggas said Mike was in the hotel in Utah and he was hungry and niggas bought him a special pizza that he got sick and now you got the flu on the stomach bite that's rivalry
Starting point is 00:21:58 nigga yeah even the waitress is in on it yeah get that that's a real rivalry yeah like nigga that shit ain't happening no more it's gonna take a nigger the next seven eight years we're not going to care about niggas you don't think step is that way now stuff who stuff curry like he don't hang out with nobody the last commercial you you told me about the commercial So I just saw today he was popping up by I didn't switch jerseys. I didn't switch teams. And then the other one you said before was Yonnas. Like, they don't hang out with nobody.
Starting point is 00:22:30 They like... It's a difference from being not hanging out with niggas than not fucking with niggas, period. So I agree what you said. Like, but what I'm saying is your name of niggas that don't fuck with niggas. A rivalry is two genuine teams of people or players or fighters to genuinely don't like each other. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:22:52 It would be like a whole team of Draymond Green. But yeah, Draymond switched up when he started with LeBron. Like, remember we saw Draymond that summer with LeBron? I was like, oh, my goodness. Yeah. And, you know, Rodman could have never done this. Back of the day, them teams you saying used to fight. Boston would catch him in the bar,
Starting point is 00:23:10 and they would really have 76ers. It don't even got to be necessarily that deep to a fight, but I don't fuck with you and I won't win. Like, for instance, And I hate to keep going back because it makes it sound old, but it is what it is. Magic Johnson and Larry Bird didn't get cool to after the, till they, to like eight years in. Yeah, it was over at the time of the Olympics. Yo, they did a commercial with each other and did speak to each other at the commercial, my nigga.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Yeah. So when you guys bring that up, do you guys see any sports teams going in that direction or players or you just feel like it's kind of at a standstill? Like, you don't even see any players who are kind of heading towards that. I see, see, the thing about it is, I see Ant Man going that way. But then he, then after the game, be like, now it's my favorite players and all that. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, I'm confused, man.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Yeah, that's good. You fuck with a nigga and you won't beat him and then be like, nah, that's my man, though. He wanted to hang out with him at the Olympics. Like when they can't, yeah, it's like, I remember when Jordan, it's been a mystery for years that Jordan actually said that, you know, it's been a rumor that Jordan actually said, I don't want this thing I'm on the team. That's on y'all niggins.
Starting point is 00:24:35 That's a real rivalry. Yeah, that's a problem. Yeah, that's real. This is USA. I don't care we have to win the goal. We're winning the goal without that. That's on you. You don't have that, nigga, in it?
Starting point is 00:24:47 I like John Stockton. Everybody knew Isaiah's better than Stockton. Yeah, exactly. But if you want me to play, Stockton is going to be going to be. That's a great, that's how far I go. They go like that. And years later, we see Isaiah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:06 They still don't fuck with him. Still to this. That's how far it goes. Yeah, we know the niggins Michael Jordan. Yeah. But how about you? I don't care nothing about that, man. He ain't like that.
Starting point is 00:25:19 That's what I'm saying. You can't give a nigga problems. At all. And listen, to add on to what you're saying, I'm not saying what they did was cool because I thought it wasn't cool. And to me, I swear, it started because the Detroit Pistons
Starting point is 00:25:33 beat up on the balls a couple years to go to the championship. Then the year the balls beat them to go to championship, niggas walked off the bench before the game was over. Isaiah, Bill Lamb's. Joe Dumas, and they ain't shake them niggins' hands. That's a real robbery.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Yeah, I didn't like that for them. But that's how, that's what got them kicked out the Olympics, actually. Like, yeah, we shook these niggins' hands when they lost, but on the way out, niggins ain't shake their hand at all. Let me tell you how far Michael Jordan goes. See, this is what I'm saying. Even at the Olympics, I don't know what the problem was, everybody, you know, of course we all know Michael George was Nike, but the Reebok was
Starting point is 00:26:14 sponsored in the Olympics, and they had it on the Olympics. Like if I'm wearing this shirt and it was the Olympics shirt and they had Reebok right here, Mike told niggas, give me an American flag and covered the Reebok logo up, and I ain't where I ain't letting niggas see me support Reebok in no way. He's a different type of niggins. We'll see what happens. I think people are a little too scary. Like you said, I don't want to call Amin's scary because it's not scary's, but he also
Starting point is 00:26:43 has that respect for Katie, which is why he acted that way, but it's like, we do like to see the rivalry. I think it... And that's part of why you don't get a championship also. Because when you got that, that, that's another level of dog, right? That I don't care who this
Starting point is 00:27:00 nigger is, man. If he, if he suit up against me, that's his business, nigga. That's the mentality right there. Yeah. Yeah, like the niggas, I hate to keep, I hate where I have to bring him up on this show.
Starting point is 00:27:15 I had to call Mace again. Not dead ass. He's like, he asks me, he's like, yo, would you be scared when you, he's like, yo, when you really play ball, ball like that, would you be scared if you had to play against Kyrie tomorrow? I'm like, no. What are you talking about? He said, yo, nah, he, because he'd be embarrassing, niggas, and this, and I'm saying,
Starting point is 00:27:40 nigger, that's the opportunity to show This y'all came? I had to call Mace again. I called Mace again that same day. And this is another day. And Mace said, nah, Mesa actually, what are you talking about? Mason, I actually welcome that. Now he said, I go get a haircut for shit like that.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Yeah, I'm about to get his scholarship. Yeah. So I'm getting my scholarship off this. Fucking son talking about. Will we be scared tomorrow? No. Nick, when we were, the nigga cutting sleep waiting to play
Starting point is 00:28:17 against Felipe Lopez and Steph Marbett whoever niggas can say, nigga actually couldn't wait. What is he talking about? You're thinking, I'm about to go up in the rankings, yeah, the fuck is he talking about? In the comments down below, let us know y'all's favorite matchup,
Starting point is 00:28:30 but we're going to go to break. When we return, we will discuss Bill Belichick. Isok Pitbull Cruz, ferocious, fierce, ball bite. Get out of the rain. Roach, patient, precise, deadly, this isn't a battle, it's a war. This is war! Plus, champions collide as Laura faces Johnny back in a battle for all the belts.
Starting point is 00:28:56 This is war, war, war. Fidful versus Roach, Saturday, December 6 live on PBC pay-per-view on Prime Video. DJ, the dime life brand is serious. I love that shirt you got on. Like this, and your bank account is that much? You say whatever the fucking want a second. Rally around him with that, you know, the picture of his daughter sitting on the lap, the LSU player.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Will we happen as you can join us? Man, thank you for having me. Look, I tell you. Okay, let me tell you like this. I got too much money to be fighting. We ain't got that no more. And we've taken that song a long time and made it our answer. Paul A. Jenkins.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I even put your bullshit-ass book up here on my, you know what I mean. Welcome to start with the facts. Welcome back. Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day. we're going to get into these Thanksgiving Day games. Well, one of them. Chiefs will play the Cowboys. Mace.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Underdog has Dak Prescott at 251 and a half passing yards. Do you have higher or lower? I have to be honest and share the truth where the truth is needed. Dak is going to get 251, but they're going to lose. Yeah, I'm going to agree. Yeah, Dag is playing really well. And sorry, Stapp, but Pickens is looking like some other niggins. It didn't look at the DJ, the D.K. Metcalf shit, it's not looking like a good move compared to what Pickers getting.
Starting point is 00:30:46 But maybe you need to be in a different environment. I'm going to hire. Hey, George Pickens is at 74 and a half receiving yards. You'll hire a lawyer, Cam. I'm going to hire. Yeah, here go a truth statement again. I think, I think Pickens was the worst thing that happened to the Steelers. And it's going to come back to haunt them.
Starting point is 00:31:05 and I'm going higher. I don't know about worst thing, but I hear you. And Patrick Mahomes is at 267 and a half passing on higher lower base. Higher, you know, I'm going higher on that. Damn, that's tough, man. Because one thing that has happened since the trade deadline is Dallas defense has gotten better. Even though I picked the chief store in this game,
Starting point is 00:31:27 the defense has picked it up since the trade deadline. But I think they turned the corner last week, man. I think they turned the corner last week. I'm going to go higher. And what was the number again, two? 267 and a half. Yeah, I think he'll have 276 in high. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:43 I think, you know, he's definitely looking forward to this game, so it's going to be on Thanksgiving. You've got to go crazy. I think it's a playoff game for both teams. My personal opinion, I think whoever wins this game gets into the playoffs because both of them are right on the edge of getting it. Like if we saw it today, they're not either one in, but I'm saying they both.
Starting point is 00:32:03 they both need this game to solidify solidify spot in the playoffs. Even if they win, that doesn't mean they're in. But to me, this is a playoff game for both teams. Make sure you out download the Underdog app and you can make your picks too. So we're going to go back to college real quick before we go into NFL.
Starting point is 00:32:22 So they're calling Bill Belichick boyfriend of the year. He was spotted at a cheerleading competition in North Carolina supporting his girlfriend, Jordan, who is a member of a co-ed adult cheerleading team. Maurice, after seeing that footage, some of those pictures and those videos, especially given his circumstances right now, what is your opinion on that? Yeah, Bill Belichick, got to get back to the NFL. I don't like to see somebody of legendary status just out here flailing.
Starting point is 00:32:52 That's what I like to call what he's doing. You know, never in my life, but I thought I'd see Bill Belichick at an adult cheerleading competition. Yeah, man. I'm telling you, I'm just, I like to look at legends as legends and I like to inform the state legends in my mind and do all the legendary stuff and get all the accolades after they've done. But Bill trying to come to the college ranks to keep his college coach alive and whatever he's doing with Homegirl is cool, it's whatever state business. But Bill need to go back to the professional ranks. And I look at it like, you know, how Aaron Roberts went to the jets and things didn't go well. So he went to the Steelers and the college.
Starting point is 00:33:33 and got his thing back on the right track, pause to have a career and go out on the right notes whenever you go out. But it's the same thing with Bill Belichick. I want to see Bill Belichick go back to the pros and redeem himself and go out, how he's supposed to go out. But being a cheerling competition, I can move. Yeah, I think for Bill Belichick to be at this
Starting point is 00:33:53 is really like, it's more than a step back. We might need to make up a new term. This is a step under. Like, when you go from the NFL, it's bad enough, he's coaching college. It's like, you know, somebody wants to see you go under. Anybody that's hating on Bill, they love this season for Bill Belichick. Like, I was waiting for a moment to humble him. I could only imagine Tom Brady calling him or him speaking to Tom Brady.
Starting point is 00:34:27 Like, hey, how are you doing? Oh, I'm coaching college. hey what's going on you know how's the family oh i got a i got a young thing that was you in the in the um cheerleading thing bill when did you start doing this you know people ask them bill needs an intervention right now rumor has it bill needs an intervention somebody out there that really love bill go check on bill this is a um a wellness check there's no reason for bill to be doing this that young girl is getting everything she desire out of bill who knows she might have bill at the circus before it's all over
Starting point is 00:35:08 that's what it means to have a man wrapped around your finger this is what it looked like well as for all of those that want to know bill is at the college she's on the sideline he's at the cheering the next thing is the carnival the next thing mark my word he'll be at a carnival or rodeo something just this far out you're like what What are you doing? Oh, I'm here with my girlfriend. Bill, get out of there. Get out of there.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Somebody go check on Bill. We love Bill. I hate to see Bill like this. This is not the way to end as an iconic figure in the NFL. Yes. They got some dope shoes on both of them. Who's got to be from overseas? Statt, where was he at?
Starting point is 00:35:55 What was he on? Yeah, he was supporting his girl at a co-ed adult cheerleading team. She's a cheerleader? Yeah. And she's support, and he was supporting her, yeah. So I'm going to ask, I'm going to ask Mo and Mace. If your wife was doing cheerleader and y'all want to go support her? No, I'm not going there to have a niggas pulling up like this,
Starting point is 00:36:20 looking under a dress and all that. I'm not doing that. You gotta grow out of that. But I'm a guy's guy. killer you know that's why I think killer love to ask me that you know hey I was saying I'm just acting niggi niggi holding up like this Nick and then he let her go and catching on like this like how do you cheer for that oh y'all is to me how do you cheer for me how do you I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:37:02 I'm with you. We're doing all that, man. Can I never know he don't want to see Bill Belichick like that. Yeah. No, when he was in a, no, when he was in an underdog commercial with Chu, and he was a player laying back on the couch, getting the phone call from you. That's how we want to see Bill. That's how I envision Bill Belichick going out.
Starting point is 00:37:24 I ain't trying to see my man at the cheerleading competition all close to the wall, waving his hand like that. We don't want to see Bill like that. Yeah, we love Bill. Like, this is like using Bill for a photo op. You know, and somebody bring you somewhere in and turn into a photo shoot for you. And he was just there supporting them.
Starting point is 00:37:45 I mean, this is great for her branding, you know? Well, I'm going to tell you all something real quick. I get it. That's why I asked. And I ain't going to say his name. I have a friend of mine. And I'm sitting in California. shit for a minute. And he's like, yo, it's like some celebrity yoga.
Starting point is 00:38:06 That's celebrity, I'll say, the dude is like a famous yoga instructor. And he told me to come through. So, I mean, I didn't go to do the yoga. It was just like a lot of, it's more for networking for me. But when I got there, yo, bro, his wife was doing yoga and a nigga was stretching out. What kind of stretch out like that? I don't get that. Imagine if you got your wife
Starting point is 00:38:42 talking about me. Breathe. I don't know. Open your hips and all that, pause, yeah. But I'll say this, though, about Bill Belichick. But it's hard to watch, pause, because Mo made a great point. When you look at somebody in a certain light, and it just, you know, you look at them at this great NFL coach,
Starting point is 00:39:10 possibly the best NFL coach ever to some people. And then it just goes from not winning your games in college, your girl at halftime coming down on the field talking to you. Now you're up supporting niggas flip. and her in the air. It just doesn't look good. I know somebody, right, that I, you know, let me ask you this, Mace, too.
Starting point is 00:39:32 After I finish this thing, what I'm going to say. I looked at somebody on the Mount Rushmore or Harlem at one time, and they're not there anymore. They just fell off. If they would have stopped doing what they was doing at one time, they would have stayed up there on the Mount Rushmore of Harlem for me. And now it's like, you know, I don't know ever seen Mount Rushmore. It's like they face just fell off and rolled down to hell to where
Starting point is 00:39:58 they're never going to get back on it. And it's sad to watch because you're like, damn, if you would have just rode off into the sunset and chilled, you would have stayed at the Mount Rushmore Harlem, but you're not on it anymore. And you could have just chilled and stayed there. I said, I don't want to mess it up with a killer if he has to be able to be there. But he's no longer up there, bro. And you could have been up there if you just, if you just chill, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:38 But no, you wrote you, you got yourself, yourself, you really did to yourself off the Mount Rushmore Harlem. And sometimes overdoing it or staying in the public eye when you could just lay low. And nigger be like, they'll just look at you as degraded sometime or one of the greats.
Starting point is 00:40:58 Like, you know, I'm not saying about Mount Rushmore when I say this person, but some niggas be like, now I'm out, you think about, because it's hard for some people to stay away from what they do. You think about people like Lennox Lewis when he's like, I'm gonna retire. You're like, you ain't rarely retiring. You can still fight, nigga never fought again.
Starting point is 00:41:14 My nigga Megatron in Detroit. Megatron like, yeah, Megatron could still play. Like, yo, nigga, Cal, you ain't, I know you ain't retired. Nah, I'm out, nigga, I'm out. My nigga down there in Miami niggins said, man, you know what? I can't think the nigger, the running back niggins said, man, I would have a smoke weed.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Yeah, Ricky William. I would have a smoke weed. Fuck you told him. Ricky, you quit? Barry Sanders, what the fuck you mean? You quit. These niggins who could have still played. Like Kobe, my last example. Kobe could have still played, but he like, now I'm declining, and I wish I would average less than 20 points in the NBA.
Starting point is 00:41:48 And went out with a 50 points on his way out. So sometimes it's hard for people to stay away to me, Bill Belichick is one of the people. When you look at this situation, right? It isn't like he must have a family. I don't know his family situation. But it's nothing stable to go home to. So he's like, man, I got to coach somewhere,
Starting point is 00:42:10 and this bitch taking care of me, this down and the third. You can say what you want about what they do publicly. You don't know what Bill fetish is in there. She might be tickling his feet and kissing his balls at the same time. You don't know what niggas got going on me in the house. She might be doing some shit. Bill may be dressing up in and put a pimp on and they said a hot chair.
Starting point is 00:42:29 And for dinner. You don't know what the fuck thing's fetishes is. Man, might be walking around a pimp and eating in a hot chair. And niggins behind those doors. You don't know what people like. Everybody like different shit, man. You know what I'm saying? So she might be leading those knees to anything.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Like, I don't go to fuck. I'm going to cheerleading practice. Miss spank me every night. I need it. A hot chair is crazy. You know where you get this, you'll be surprised, murder. Some things out there are
Starting point is 00:43:06 some pretty says, man, for us. He said in a hot chair. You might be in a human hot chair, man. And to answer your question, he does have three kids, so. Yeah, that's what we need to get. They all got a link on build kids. We love to have them on the show. Man, we would love to have to have them
Starting point is 00:43:32 and see what's going on. What you said? Nope. They don't staff for them. They are on staff, but I would love to get their opinion. I would love to get the opinion on this. Could you know, you think about that? You're like, Dad, your girlfriend's younger than me.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Yeah. What are you doing? Yeah. You make yourself look crazy out here. out here you're embarrassing them family you know what I'm saying so you never know but they might be cool who know they might be cool with it yeah she's a wonderful person all that yeah yeah and so the will come in yeah yeah discussion for real
Starting point is 00:44:06 one more quick question about this before we move on because can you kind of did make a good point because you asked them if they would support if like you know their significant other was at a cheerleading competition was there anything out of y'all's comfort zone that you've done for like a partner or a girlfriend or a significant other that like you typically wouldn't do but you were like okay if she if she likes it i love it type of thing marise i'm uh i'm not i'm not a chauvinness or nothing like that but She just know, you know, this is a different phase of me. She caught me in the nigger phase,
Starting point is 00:44:51 and so she just kind of know what I do and don't do. We even got to 21 years, so I ain't really got to go through all that. Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, that's part of the reason why I almost not ended up in a marriage, because I'm not doing a lot. That's exactly why, because, yo, I'll tell you That's a great question. One time, one time stat that I could think of.
Starting point is 00:45:22 I'm trying to think. I know one time, was there more than once? Because shit like that will make you, see. That's the thing about not being married. I can leave when I want. I'm not doing this. I'll get up and I'll be going. I'm not doing this, man.
Starting point is 00:45:44 The one thing that I could think about off the top of my head that I did, that I didn't want to do, that I told niggas that I didn't want to do, is go on a cruise. And the reason why I didn't want to do on a cruise because I'm like, you know, excuse me, it's hard,
Starting point is 00:46:03 unless you have somebody like Maurice's wife or Mace's wife, dealing with somebody new to try to understand the nigger that you already are. And I don't mean that in a bad way. I mean that in a, yo, I got to move a certain way. I can't just be randomly, going here or going there.
Starting point is 00:46:18 I'm a nigger when I'm outside, you know, I use everything. I use reflections off the glass. I'm in the rear view. My peripheral got to be everything. Like, I'm moving, you gotta move the right way when you're a certain type of nigger. You can't just be out doing whatever, whenever.
Starting point is 00:46:33 And sometimes if you don't have a woman that understands that, then it's just gonna be a bad situation. Ken, why we just can't go to the new edition concert? Bitch, because I need security. I ain't just going to the fucking concert. concert in the crowd and what the fuck is you talking about what you mean road you got tickets row 68 b well what are you so no i know i'm not going to that my nigger yo so we should just go to so-and-so car say look if i can get some passes and we go backstage and so-and-so-and-so
Starting point is 00:47:04 and so-and-so shit then i do it you ask nick man yo nick how the fuck we moved through raider stadium another day we moved to nigger they come pick us up we get on the golf cart Security escorts, listen, that's how I can't, and I'm not bragging about it. Thank God, you know what I'm saying? I'm just happy that that's the, I got to move the right way. I can't just go by a rate of tickets,
Starting point is 00:47:26 and I don't mean this in a bad way because it's bad for other people. I don't mean it like that. I just, you know, I've been blessed to me in this situation. You've got to move the right way, and some bitches just don't fucking understand that. Anyway, I went on this cruise. And I said, I don't want to go on the fucking cruise.
Starting point is 00:47:42 And I said I go, all, cool. I go on the fucking cruise. cruise oh shit care care care this the CD ever I don't even know how niggas got they mixtape on the cruise yo I got my mixtape let's give me they mixtape you got his mix there's three different niggas on the cruise with a mix tape how do they bought they mix tape with them on the cruise now you know what happens on the cruise you can't run you can't go nowhere you got more days you got more days you got more day Yo, Killer, you see a nigger.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Yo, you listen to the joint? Nah, I'm trying to, me and shorty. Nah, Killer, you gotta listen. We don't get this money. You bugging. Now I'm walking down a hole. I see a, I got stuck, like, before he sees. Yo, nah, I didn't want to do that, man.
Starting point is 00:48:31 And I was disgusted by time the joint was over. Actually, the time the shit got to the Bahamas, I'm trying to find a joint a flight to get out of there. Not to stop. Yeah, man. I didn't want to do that. and they didn't listen. And I had a miserable time.
Starting point is 00:48:49 And I put that on the list. And they think you're no fun. Yeah. Yeah. Sorry to that girl, because he did not have fun. I will add really quick. I think it doesn't hurt to ask,
Starting point is 00:49:07 especially as a woman, and then just be told to know because if that's what you like, I think that's okay. Because me personally, I like the little cute things. Like, I'm going to want to go watch WikiA or, like, go to a pumpkin patch. Or if you go to Disney, like, wear the ears.
Starting point is 00:49:20 Like, even if that's out of your comfort zone, that's what I like to do. So you can ask and still be told, no, that's what I think about it. See, that's what I'm trying to say, stat. I haven't been a while, but I used to like Disney. And I go to Disney. But I pay the extra $5,000 to have an escort to have a escort to have a escort to Disney. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:49:40 I'll pay the extra $5,000. I pay the extra $5,000. when we get to Universal Studios, so we skip the line. When I go to Six Flags, I pay, we use a six flag three, four time, and yeah, crew, all my own crew. You pay a little extra four or five thousand, you skip the line, they take you up, they take you up the line through where the exit is at.
Starting point is 00:50:01 And everybody who been waiting for an hour, gotta watch you and your niggas get on. And I'll be like, I'm sorry, everybody. I don't know, I didn't know y'all been waiting on here. He's not sorry. And you know what's fucked up with that package pause. When the shit come back, you could go as many times as you want. So when niggas is starting to walk up to the drink,
Starting point is 00:50:18 you're like, nah, we're gonna, we're gonna go a couple more times. Then, you know, especially nigs are waiting the front, niggas be waiting in front, we'd be like, now we're gonna wait, we're gonna do at least two more times. Y'all can get in the back, drink, pause. But everything's accessible. You can do that.
Starting point is 00:50:35 You don't have to be a celebrity to do that. If you want to pay extra money, you can get that. Yeah, you close a park if you want. I was just about to say that. I said, you know who told me that shit? I felt broke. I said, yo, we go to, she's like, I love amusement parks. I say, yo, we go to Six Flags.
Starting point is 00:50:53 You know, I know the shit where we ain't gotta wait on the line, da, da, da, da. We can just go up. She said, wait on the line, what? She said, I'll just get the park closed down and we just go do what we want. I said, oh, my bad. Mariah Carey. I was like, I'm broke. She looked at me like I was crazy.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Like, what do you mean up the exit part and people are there? I'm like, I'm up there. I forgot. It was closed the park down, man. See, that's fire. That is very fire. Okay, so shout out to Bill first. But with the pressure of the win now mentality,
Starting point is 00:51:31 Maurice, do you think teams and fans will ever give time to new errors of head coaches to become legendary? I had to answer that with a hard no. And I just think that there's too much money involved with players. There's too much money involved with these head coaches. And just like we just talked about where rivalries are dying, like we'll talk about the sport looking different in, you know, three, four, five years and how they changed.
Starting point is 00:51:59 I think this is one of them. I think you have coaches that if you gave them more time and fan bases were a little bit more patient, but I think in the era of social media where everybody thinks that everybody's supposed to be good. Now, be a players and coaches, I don't think that, I think that will fade away unless you do something phenomenal early and, you know, somebody sticks with you. Yeah, I think is, I agree a wholeheartedly with more. It's just not enough time in it. Like you said, the temperament of the, of the people is just like, we got to, this got to happen now. You know, every time, especially if you and New York, York everybody in New York is expecting to win today and then when they don't win it's always next
Starting point is 00:52:41 year it's never like two years from now we're going to be the champs or three years from now we're going to be the organization we're supposed to be people just don't have the time you know and I don't know if if that time exists in any area of life it don't seem like people have time anywhere so my answer would be no yeah that's a great point Mason's especially in the New York market. Think about Tom Timbertoe with the Knicks. They progressed this about every year that he got there. He's actually in the fucking Eastern Conference Finals last year and got fired.
Starting point is 00:53:15 So, yeah, you know, to me, should you deserve a little more time? Yes, but are you going to get the time? I don't know, man, I doubt it. Let me ask you, Mace. I know we're giving our opinion on what people think. Yeah. But Mace and Maurice, do y'all think people should deserve? third more time or do you be like now we got to get this done the next couple years just not not the
Starting point is 00:53:39 overall general opinion your personal opinion um i when it comes to me i think is when you ask do i have the time or the patience for something i think it's based on a pay right so if we negotiate a deal and you are negotiating a deal with for all of the maximum money i need you to perform today pause i just do If you ask them for every bells and whistles for every single thing, then you're requesting of me that I pay you like somebody who could do something today. So with that being stated, I need something today. If it's more like we agree on the number and it's favorable for both sides, then you might have some time.
Starting point is 00:54:23 That's how I look at it. It's going to be based on the pay for me. And what about you? Yeah, I was going to say the same thing, but I don't think I could say something better in regards to how he supported his answer. You know, the more, like I say, the more money comes with a shorter leash.
Starting point is 00:54:40 You know, maybe where you, you know, you negotiate all, like you say, all your bells and whistles. But I think that take was spot on. Yeah, and I think that's what the people that are not getting more time is not realizing. Like, you made all these demands as if you were coming in to change the program. I remember I'm LeBron and I used
Starting point is 00:55:01 in a good way when they when lebron went to miami when they had the press conference he said i'm not coming here for one championship not two not three not four and he just kept going that's really the expectation when people start paying you a whole lot of money that this is going to be a life-changing event and and for people to under um to not understand that causes them not to perform on a certain level can i agree i kind of agree is man i kind of and don't, like what both y'all takes, because y'all agreeing on the same thing. Because sometime you're sitting there saying,
Starting point is 00:55:38 let's say, for instance, right, you're just using the Nix's example. Let's say Mike Brown gets eliminated in the first round after you just fired Tom Tibido. Did you go backwards for night, and Tibado's been excelling every year? But now you said, okay, it just wasn't good enough to play people to complain it.
Starting point is 00:55:57 And now you go backwards, firing him starting over with somebody, knew. And you try to build that same cachet with your new coach but you're not even getting where the last coach got. The reason I even asked this question,
Starting point is 00:56:11 Mace, is because I remember more one than Ryan Dayfired. And look what happened. Now we're on the staff. Now, now you're down. I locked you up for this mall. I don't even know how you've had.
Starting point is 00:56:27 You didn't want them there. You were complaining. You was on record. Now that's your men. Man, now you have the organization, now you got a national championship. Imagine if he would have got fired when you were sitting there complaining talking about, we keep losing to Michigan. We got to do something, this third, now look at you, look at you.
