Killer was good, man. All right. What's up, man? How you doing today? Chilling, man. How you doing? I'm good, I'm good, bro. I'm good. So, the Clippers, they went on to beat the Warriors 124 to 119 in overtime.
Starting point is 00:01:17 This is an important game for both of them. This loss for the Warriors means they are headed to the play-in to compete against the Grizzlies. Mace, first, what are your thoughts on that game, and then what do you see happening in the Warriors means they are headed to the playing to compete against the Grizzlies. Mase, first, what are your thoughts on that game and then what do you see happening in the Warriors versus the Grizzlies? Man, I was really, this is the first time I think I was kind of surprised. I thought the Warriors was, you know, serious, more serious than this. I mean, we've been talking about, you know, how serious they are with Jimmy Butler and adding him to this team.
Starting point is 00:01:48 And it just seemed like, you know, they just bought enough knives to a gunfight, you know, that, that I like this for James Harden them and their Clippers. It's a lot of stories here. The Clippers winning without Paul George is, is the Golden State losing with Jimmy Butler. So many different Paul's angles you could take on this conversation. But I'm kind of embarrassed for the Warriors. You know, when you got somebody like Draymond talking about how they're going to win the championship and all this, and now they're back, you know, playing at the play-ins.
Starting point is 00:02:24 This is, this is not cool, man. This is not cool for Warrior Nation, especially in Title Town. You don't act like this, especially with the Clippers. Come on, man. What do you think, Killer? I've been telling niggas to watch the Clippers last two months. Yeah, you were saying that. I've been telling niggas to watch the Clippers the last two months. Now, you were saying that. To watch the Clippers the last two months.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Now this game was really, really, yo, this was a nail biter from beginning to end. I don't know how many lead changes, how many ties it was, it wasn't an overtime. It was a spectacular game, man. What I will say is this is greatest stuff Curry is. His turnovers are really, really terrible, especially in key moments, man.
Starting point is 00:03:07 He'll sit there, eight points in a row, two threes a layup, and come back and turn it over two times in a row. He got, I mean, and he's always turnover prone throughout his career, but you can't turn it over in this moment, because there was a moment in this game, I believe at halftime, where all the other teams, this was the last game to solidify who was going to get the
Starting point is 00:03:29 last playoff spot. Denver won, I forget who else won, and this was for the sixth seed. And they knew that. Both teams knew that. So there you sit there and say, okay, whose superstars are going to step up in this second half, knowing that a playoff spot is on the line in the second half. And the superstars stepped up. Steph Curry stepped up, and then Kawhi Leonard stepped up. A lot of people, I told people,
Starting point is 00:03:54 they're not paying attention to what Kawhi Leonard been doing the last month and a half, bro. He's the Western Conference Player of the Week, if not last week, the week before last. So you got Steph Curry and Kawhi Leonard dueling it out. It's a duel out, it's a duel out. I believe at the end of regulations, Steph Curry had 36, if I'm not mistaken.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Kawhi Leonard had 32. But you know what Golden State doesn't have that the Clippers do have? Is another superstar. And when I say superstar, you got Jimmy Butler and we know the, what is it? The legend, so to speak, of playoff Jimmy Butler. But Jimmy Butler and that nigga gets bunkers.
Starting point is 00:04:37 We call him Jimmy Butler. But Kawhi, I mean, pardon me, James Harden went into Houston James Harden mode and that's exactly what happened and Jimmy Butler couldn't keep up with Houston James Rocking. Even though he's on the Clippers, I'm gonna call him Houston James Rocking.
Starting point is 00:04:54 I mean, Houston James Harden. Because in overtime, he had all the points. I think he had 10 points in the whole overtime, along with the fourth quarter. But Kawhi Leonard took a backseat, and he said, and Tyler said, you know what, James, bring us home. And that's what he did.
Starting point is 00:05:10 He finished with 39. He had 29 to 30, or 31 at the end of regulation, and he brought him home. And that was really the basics to the game. It was Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler against Kawhi Leonard and James Harden. And those two ended up outdueling those two. And that's what happens when you got another person, not just a second person, a person that you can say, move, get out the way, I'm
Starting point is 00:05:38 going to get us a basket. A lot of teams do have a second go-to, but I don't know if to this caliber. You know, we talking about OKC and it could possibly be check or Williams or whoever. It ain't nobody who could say move, ta ta ta, ta ta ta. And I saw when you in trouble. This is gonna be a problem for whoever they have to play. I believe they're playing Denver. And if Jamal Murray doesn't get back,
Starting point is 00:06:03 I don't know if Denver is gonna have a chance against this Clipper team, especially with Powell playing good, Dunn playing Denver, and if Jamal Murray doesn't get back, I don't know if Denver's gonna have a chance against this Clippers team, especially with Powell playing good, Dunn playing good, Zubik, if I'm pronouncing it right, yo bro, the Clippers will be a certified problem for people moving forward. And now when you actually start about the Grizzlies and Memphis, this is crazy, because these two teams
Starting point is 00:06:21 got problems with each other. This is gonna be like a playoff game against each other, even though it's not a series. I mean, it is a playoff game, they go to the playoffs, but these two don't like each other. This is gonna be a really, really good game one, two. I can't wait to see this game. This game is gonna be just as good as a playoff series,
Starting point is 00:06:37 knowing the history of these two. Who's gonna win? You know, I'm gonna have to go with Golden State if I'm making a prediction. I know we'll talk about this again tomorrow before the game, but if I'm making a prediction, I'm only going with Golden State because Jimmy Butler's gonna have to step up,
Starting point is 00:06:55 not just the regular Jimmy Butler, to play on Jimmy Butler early. So we'll call him a play in Jimmy Butler pause. So we'll see what happens. Play in Jimmy Butler. pause. So we'll see what happens. Play in Jimmy Butler. I said pause. No, I'm saying this is what happens when you don't win the game.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Niggas start playing with your name, Jimmy Butler. Now you're playing Jimmy Butler. Killer is wilding on you right now. Wilding him up right now, pause. But you think about it, James Harden having 39 and 10 and seven, you really, you really can't lose when your point guard got 39 and 10 and seven rebounds and two steals. It's like, come on, man. Niggas gotta start playing defense. I don't like that. I don't like that. I don't like that. I don't like that for goal this day. And they were trying to get other people to guard them,
Starting point is 00:07:47 but like you said, it was just Sir Mix-A-Lot. We need to just call him Sir Mix-A-Lot. Yeah, he was mixing. He was definitely mixing. But this is the question, Mason. I'll ask you this. And I'm talking about, you know, it takes a full team bench and everything to win throughout the playoffs.
Starting point is 00:08:07 I'm sitting there saying you got Jason Talem, you got Jalen Brown, you got Luca, you got LeBron. What other two do you put in that category outside of those four players I named that could deal with a healthy Kawhi Leonard and James Hart? I'm not gonna lie. I can't think of nobody, that could deal with a healthy Kawhi Leonard and James Hart? I'm not gonna lie. I can't think of nobody because I was going to even go further than that.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Pause. The way that Clipper team played, they could win it all. If they play like that, they can win it all. I don't even think Boston could beat them if those two players show up that way. It was just looking like, it was looking crazy out there. I'm not gonna lie. Now I can't think of nobody that could beat them.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Only two I think could give them trouble. Let me think, just for conversation purposes is a healthy Jamal Murray and Joker, cause they wouldn't have an answer for him. But everybody else with God and wings, you know, they could play with anybody. Paul said, I think LeBron and Luca is even more, how could I say it?
Starting point is 00:09:18 They're more vulnerable because Luca can't guard nobody. At least James Harden could play some defense. I don't think Luca could guard anybody. Yeah, I think that's why I asked, because those are the four players that came to mind when I said Jason Tatum, Jalen Brown, LeBron, and Luca. You have a couple of other Tatums. Like I said, Shay, Shatton,
Starting point is 00:09:44 it's different players who's in second, the second option on that team. You know, Carl Anthony Towns, Jaylen Brunson. But I'm talking about a superstar, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden and Ty Lue. This is, not only this, this is championship experience on this team and championship coaching.
Starting point is 00:10:04 So this is really gonna be this team and championship coaching. So this is really gonna be interesting moving forward. And you're right Mase, I forgot about Jamal Murray and Joker because Jamal Murray hasn't been playing. Let's see if he's gonna be healthy enough to come back when the playoffs start. He got a little bit of time being that they're not gonna be in the playing and we'll see what happens
Starting point is 00:10:24 because if Jamal Murray is healthy, now this series becomes real interesting with Jamal Murray and the Joker against Kawhi Leonard and James Hart. So, to Cam's point, must-see TV would be the Warriors versus the Grizzlies, but looking at the other teams competing in the play, Mace and Cam, I'm curious as to which matchup you think is most exciting. So we got the Kings versus the Mavs, the Bulls versus the Heat or the Magic versus the Hawks.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Do you have an excitement to watch any of those matchups or is it kind of like meh? None of them. None of them. I don't want to see any of them. If the Hawks win, they win. And people are going to get mad at me because I be in Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:11:03 If they win, they win, you know? I'm really not focused on Atlanta. I like Orlando, PB5, you know? But I'm not ready to watch those games, you know? I'm more so looking forward to the Wolves, the Timberwolves. Versus the Lakers. Yeah, versus the Lakers.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Every game on the West is lit. Every game on the West is lit. Every game on the West is lit. Even when you think about who... Denver versus Clippers. Denver versus the Clippers, that's going to be another goodie. I think all of the games are on the West. It's back to when I was growing up.
Starting point is 00:11:40 We had to watch all the West Coast games, and then we just watched the East Coast games just to see who the West's gonna beat. Yeah, as far as the East, the Bucks and Pacers would be the rematch, then they got the Knicks versus Pistons. So... Yeah, you know, free chicken, you know, free wings, you know. But it's good to know the bad boys are back,
Starting point is 00:12:01 you know, the Pistons are back. You know, they should beat the Knicks. I know Sin donons are back. You know, they should beat the Knicks. I know Sin don't want to hear that, but they should beat the Knicks. And Cam, what are your thoughts? Sin going to beat Taylor. Yeah, outside of the Grizzlies and go to say, I agree with me. I don't really care for the playing games to be totally honest with you. But what was really interesting is this, is that the Grizzlies and the Warriors
Starting point is 00:12:32 both have a chance to be seventh and eighth seed. Now that's going to be, now you know, you got to play whoever loses that game has to play another game and get the eighth seed. But let's say the Grizzlies and go to state make it. Now you have a first round matchup with OKC and Houston with either one of them teams. So that series could be possibly crazy too. So you know you're definitely going to get the Grizzlies or Golden State no matter what. But then if possible, Golden State and the Grizzlies could end up in the HC and 1 against 2, 1 and 2 is Houston and an OKC and if it be the Grizzlies against Golden State that'll be uh I mean pardon me the Grizzlies or Golden State against either one of them top two C's would be really really really
Starting point is 00:13:19 really crazy to watch as well like they said, the whole Western Conference playoff picture is looking really, really good. I think a compelling matchup is the Knicks against Detroit because the Knicks had high expectations going into this season. Let's just, let's not get confused. Carl Anthony Towns came over, Jalen Brunson emerged to be a superstar, and they haven't beat the top teams. They actually got their one in 11, I believe, or one in 12 against the top three Cs in the NBA. So it's like, okay, cool, y'all can win,
Starting point is 00:13:52 but can y'all win against the top three teams in the NBA? And that hasn't been proven now. We know a seven game series is different and TIBS runs its players into the ground. So we'll see how healthy they are. But the reason this matchup is really interesting is because the Knicks are actually one and three against Detroit this year.
Starting point is 00:14:11 And in two of those games, Detroit won in Madison Square Garden. So Detroit absolutely has the potential to beat the Knicks. And if the Knicks go out in the first round, I have no idea what to say about the Knicks because they had high hopes coming into this season. And it looks like Detroit has kind of been their kryptonite this season. We'll see what happens.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Okay. As the week continues, we'll definitely go more into depth with specific matchups because I kind of want to stamp you guys' guesses and kind of keep track of, like, who kind of gets what. We'll talk about strong teams versus weak teams. But at this moment, let's kind of take this as a point of reflection. So we've seen the teams who didn't make it. Mason, your opinion, who was the biggest disappointment this season? Oh, man. Um, what are you talking East Coast or West Coast? It can be your overall pick, or you can choose both.
Starting point is 00:15:08 I think the team that underachieved the most for me coming out of the East, even though they made it, was the Bucs. I think that's the team that stands out the most to me. I don't think those other teams that's lower on the list surprised us. I thought when you got Damon Lillard coming back, they started this season with the guy they traded at the three, what was his name again? The small forward? Chris Middleton. Yeah, Chris Middleton.
Starting point is 00:15:32 I thought they were really turning this around. They brought in your boy from Washington, DC, and I just think this is a debacle, you know? And it's sad because I was looking forward to Dame turning up on the East Coast, but the East Coast is different. You know, there's a lot of defense is different than the West Coast. So for me, I would say that this this Bucks, this Milwaukee Bucks team is the biggest let down for me, really, when it comes to the East Coast. Okay. And then the West?
Starting point is 00:16:04 The West, every everything is going the way I thought it would go. I'm only let down by Dallas because Kyrie got hurt. But other than that, there's nothing that surprised me on the West Coast. I actually thought the Grizzlies would have a better year than this when they got ED in. And it seemed like Jai came back. But he had some injuries, So all of that's understandable. So I would say Dallas on the West coast just
Starting point is 00:16:31 because Kyrie gets hurt. If Kyrie doesn't get hurt, this will be awesome. This would be an awesome playoff for the West coast. Right. And then Cam, what are you thinking? It can be teams who made it or didn't make it at all. This is mad easy. On the West Coast is Phoenix. Oh yeah, not about Phoenix. You got Devin Booker, you got Bradley Beal.
Starting point is 00:16:53 You don't make the play in? You don't make the play in? This is not even a big question, a wild question. It's not even a hard push. It is the Phoenix Suns on the West Coast. You have those three players and you don't make the plan. That's just wow. Especially with the Kyrgielus Dallas Mavericks. You don't get past the Mavericks? Well, I mean, it's going to be a lot of discussion
Starting point is 00:17:20 with Phoenix in the offseason. And then the East Coast is easy too. It's the 76ers. You pay all this damn money to all these people and you don't make the plan. Now Joe LMB will give it that he was hurt most of the season and then he tried to play and then play. But with Paul George and Therese Maxey, you don't make the plan? You paid him $2 trillion.
Starting point is 00:17:43 You don't make the plan. It's ridiculous. To the point where Paul George has to announce that he's not doing his podcast to focus on basketball. That's crazy. I mean, I know they are in Tyrese Maxey, Paul George, and Joel Embiid all started the season hurt. But it should not, look, think about this. It's 15 teams in each the conference that make some playoffs. You can't get a 10 seed with Paul George and Tyrese Maxey and you're paying them $80 trillion? That's my two biggest disappointments. Yeah, that's crazy. You can't use the money from the number one thing to try to pump the other thing. from the number one thing to try to pump the other thing.
Starting point is 00:18:30 That just seemed like it don't work like that. So we're going to add this to the statement of keep the first thing the first thing. Yo, it don't work. Give me a close up. It don't work like that, homeboy. It don't work like that. And it don't.
Starting point is 00:18:47 So we got an interesting quote from Austin Reeves. So he spoke on white boys in the league. He said, you know, as a white guy in the NBA, I sometimes look at white players, and I'm like, they're not very good. So it's a stigma that I think is real. So Mase, what's your take on that? And then in your opinion, you got top three, your favorite white boys in the league?
Starting point is 00:19:03 You said Austin Reeves or Austin Rivers? Austin Reeves. Oh, I was about to say, Austin Rivers not white. No, Austin Reeves. Shout out to Austin Rivers and Austin Reeves. He might be the best white boy in a long time. You know, it was a lot of white boys that were supposed to be good, that didn't turn out well.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Like, I remember AK-47. There was a lot of Rex Chapman. Growing up, those was one of my faves. But now you got Austin Reeves. Who else you got? You got Sabonis. And there was another guy from, I can't say his name, from, um, Toronto.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Um, Grady. Oh, Grady Dick. That's his name. Like, what you want the boy to do? Matt McClung, I mean, you know, there's a lot of white boys balling these days. So, you know, you gotta, you can't use that old stigma that they can't jump, because the last few championships
Starting point is 00:20:11 of the dunk contest was a white boy, you know? So what could you say about that? They came a long way from being Mike Corvers and people like that, you know? I think Mac, what's his name? Mac Miller, not Mac Miller. Mike Miller brought that wave in a white boys being swagged out, handling the ball, shooting the ball, playing, you know, playing like that.
Starting point is 00:20:34 But that's a Florida native, you know, you wouldn't know nothing about that stat. No comment. Cam, your thoughts? What do you think about what Asteri said? And do you have a favorite white NBA player? See, that's the thing about it. We have to be clear. And you know, it's one thing growing up on white. We have to be clear on what he means by white.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Cause if he's talking about white Americans, he's right. But if you're talking about white people in general, you're wrong. Yeah. The Joker, the Joker's nice. Luke is nice. The whiskey is nice. It's a bunch of white, nice white niggas. That's not American. That's dumb, dumb nice. Two of them actually in first team all NBA. When you talk about Luca, we talk about Luca and you talk about the Joker, their first team all NBA. So are we talking about, and I'm not, this is a rhetorical question,
Starting point is 00:21:33 but are we talking about white boys in general or white Americans? Now, if he's talking about white Americans, he's absolutely right. It hasn't been a super, super duper star since Larry Bird. That's just that. We'll see what Cooper Flagg does. But if you're talking about white players in general, you're bugging.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Because Dirk Nowinski was a problem for a lot of niggas. And Luca and the Joker are problems for a lot of niggas. So it's about what's his context when he says white. Yeah, I wanted to ask you something, Killer. Was Kevin Love considered a superstar? At one time, I believe he was. This is the reason LeBron wanted him. You gotta realize Kevin Love kinda took the timber,
Starting point is 00:22:16 was, if I'm not mistaken, I'm not sure if they went to the players a bunch of times, but after that Kevin Garnett regime, it was Kevin Love. He was going crazy in Minnesota at one particular time with no help. the players a bunch of time but after that Kevin Garnett regime it was Kevin Love. He was going crazy in Minnesota at one particular time with no help. This is the reason LeBron James wanted him. You got to think about this. LeBron James got the number one overall pick traded which was Andrew Wiggins for Kevin Love. So Kevin Love was definitely, I want to say a star, I don't know about superstar, but he helped them win a championship
Starting point is 00:22:45 and not only that, get to four championships. So I'm not gonna say superstar, but he definitely was a star at one point. Okay, so let's go ahead and bring it to American. Also, also real quick, just because of the game with no championships, again, deep in the playoffs as well, we can't forget about Jason Williams. Jason Williams was a motherfucking problem.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Jay Will was definitely a superstar. Yeah, he was a problem. So he was American too. You know what I'm saying? It's just that he never got in the championship or deep in the playoffs for us to where people start mentioning his name. Another Florida.
Starting point is 00:23:22 One of the great point guards. Another Florida player. Yeah, so at the end of the point guards. Now, the Florida player. He's not from Florida. He's actually from West Virginia. Mase and Randy Morse. You got to do a little bit more homework. He played in Florida. Keller.
Starting point is 00:23:34 He played in Florida. He's a Gator. He's not from Florida. Macy's. I just said another Florida player cam. Another Florida player. I understand I I'm not mad at it. I'm not mad. I like this. I love when you guys admit that you're from Florida
Starting point is 00:24:01 Murder you don't got Florida tattooed on your arm. I'm just telling you that. King of Florida. Damn. Damn. Mase, you want to impress me, go get the Florida tattoo. Go get it. Go get it.
Starting point is 00:24:16 Go get it. Go get it. Go get it. Go get it. Go get it. Go get it. Go get it. Go get it.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Go get it. Go get it. Go get want to prove to me you're from Florida. Just say Harlem on your arm. I'm just saying. So let's kind of narrow it down, because Cam brings up a good point. There is white American, and then there's just white in general. Who are your top three favorite white American basketball
Starting point is 00:24:43 players in the league right now? Mase. That's kind of hard, you know, to say right now. If you're going all the time, I'm going right now. No, I got to go all the time. I can't, I don't deal with these young niggas like that. I'm clear where I stand. I'm going Chris Mullin. I'm going Larry Bird. And I'm going to surprise y'all with this one. I'm going Mark Price. Killer, I'm going Mark Price.
Starting point is 00:25:14 But if I had to go today, I would go, man, it ain't that many. It's Austin Reeves. Who else is there? Is Austin Reeves? Who else is there? Is Tyler Hero white? Yeah. Yeah, I'm going Tyler Hero.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I thought Tyler Hero was a nigga. He not mixed? No. He got nigga vibes. He'd probably love to hear that. Yeah. So I'm going Tyler Hero. I'm going Austin Reeves and then somebody else I'm forgetting.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Oh man. And this is straight American. Yes. I'm going Cooper Flack. Okay. Okay. Over. I'm gonna let Cam go first and then I'm gonna before I even insert my thoughts. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Who are your top three? Cam don't know none of them. That's why I had to go to college with it. She looked at me weird. I'm like Cooper Flack might be the closest. Cause there's just one that I feel like is like, I'm surprised, but I just wanted to see... Who is it? ...Chet. Chet?
Starting point is 00:26:30 OKC. He's white? Yes! Very much. Is Italian white? I wish I could tell you. I know Greece is white, but it's... Yeah, I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm in the house right this
Starting point is 00:26:50 minute with an Italian and they say they're not white. They don't consider themselves white. And I told them that your skin says white, they said we're not white. They don't consider themselves white. That's why I asked that. You know, you saw Bronx Tales? Yeah. What?
Starting point is 00:27:11 Like... He is kind of... That's a good ass movie. ...insult to say an Italian person is white. But that's why I didn't think of Chad. He gives me Italian. But you know how you always say like, complexion for the protection, like very much so.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Yeah, he can move his hair, he can move his hair and swoop it, and he pausing and get through, you know? People do it all the time. I know people like that. They're really Puerto Rican, but at times they act white. The thing about it is, sorry, my apologies.
Starting point is 00:27:47 The thing about it is this, when it comes to Chet, I think Chet is great and dynamic, but when I say superstar, or when you say superstar, different between stars or superstars, when you say superstar, could Chet have OKC where they're at without Shay Gilderis-Alexandria? That's the question. Would you think OKC would still be number one all season
Starting point is 00:28:11 if Shea didn't play? Do you think Chet could carry them to a number one seed? Now, don't get me wrong. OKC has a bench, a great start in five, et cetera. But do you think they would be where they're at without Sheae Gilders, Alexandra and I don't Alexander pardon me and I don't see Chet doing that just yet. And maybe he takes a back seat because he's on the same team with SGA but I don't see him saying okay
Starting point is 00:28:36 we're going to lead the Western Conference from the beginning of the season to the end of the season. Now let's think about this Chet was out with an injury, and with SGA, they sustained the number one spot the whole time that Chet wasn't playing. I'm not sure if Chet is there just yet. Yeah. Okay. It's funny that also the things that you brought up about Chet,
Starting point is 00:28:57 because there was a video of him, and they were asking, like, their favorite Christmas meals. He said oxtail, and everyone was like, where at Christmas dinner are you going to eat an oxtail? So I don't know the type of environment Chet grew up in, but he is still very much white. But-
Starting point is 00:29:13 I wanna ask y'all something. Does an ox really have a tail? Cause I heard Killer talking about oxtails before too. Does an ox really have a tail? I think so. Cam brought up the, of the ox tail, how he was saying, like, the history lesson, how, like, that's what they threw in the trash
Starting point is 00:29:30 and they was feeding it to us. But do they have a tail? I think so. I think they just call it ox tail. I've been hanging out with Sin City and Duke the God now. An ox doesn't have a tail. Axe Duke the God that. We're going to have to Axe Duke the God that. We gonna have the Ags Duke to guard that.
Starting point is 00:29:46 First of all, to be totally honest with you, makes you 100% right is really the tail of a cow. Because if you think about it, when we're in America, it don't matter where you go in America, have you ever told anybody, have anybody ever told you, hey, I just saw an ox? No.
Starting point is 00:30:08 You see buffalo, you see deer, you see moose, whatever you want to see. There's nowhere in America that somebody has told you, yo, man, I just seen an ox, man, in the forest. You don't be seeing oxes. So you're 100% right, Mace. Somebody has told you, yo man, I just seen an ox, man, in the forest. You don't be seein' oxes. So you're 100% right, Mase. They're actually cow tail, but they use the term ox tail.
Starting point is 00:30:32 There's no oxes running around America. Stata's lookin' it up right now. Yeah, cause low key I'm like, I wouldn't even be able to point out an ox. No! You've been eating cow tail all this time, and didn't even know it, cow tail. If it tastes good, it tastes good.
Starting point is 00:30:45 Yes, because the thing about it is I do homework on what I'm eating, pause, and I eat oxtail. So at the end of the night, I also cook it. But you do the homework, go ahead and start Googling. It's going to be a cow tail. There's no oxes running around America. Last time a nigga anywhere said, yo, man, I was out and fucking ox ran across my car.
Starting point is 00:31:06 That's facts. So Kim, after knowing that, why do you still say you eat nox tails? It was a cow tail. Because you have to, we use certain things to identify something. And that's what it's identified as. That's what I'm gonna identify it as.
Starting point is 00:31:23 I can't go in there and say to the Jamaican restaurant and be like, yo, you got cow tail? They'll actually be confused, possibly. I'm just using the word to identify what I'm requesting. I think we need to change the menu. I think we need to change the menu. I was just about to say that. I'm going through the Jamaican spot. As soon as I get to Atlanta and tell them, y'all need to change the menu. I was just about to say that. I'm going through the Jamaican spot
Starting point is 00:31:45 as soon as I get to Atlanta and tell them, y'all need to change this. It need to be called cow tail, because it's really cow tail. It's not ox tail. Yeah, I was just about to say, if you want to start the petition, you can do it. So are you.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Yeah. They're gonna have some words for you. Yeah, all these years, especially in Florida, they will hate that in Miami. Yeah, you can't just come up there and be talking about changing the cow tails. Hey, they gave Obama his special in Roscoe's. It's called the Obama.
Starting point is 00:32:16 So now they'll be saying, give me the Mace cow tails. The Mace cow tails. I'll try it if you make it. So, you can't say he ain't tried none of that. I'll try it if you make it. So you can't say he ain't tried none of that. His face says it all. Okay, so on the list of, you know... Yo, first of all, to be honest with you, that's a wild pause.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Yeah, I know. That's why I said it. I was trolling. Give me the Mace Countdowns. That's called innovation. Trying to try something new. I'm counting. I'm counting. That's called innovation. Trying to be, trying to try something new. Trying to innovate, you know?
Starting point is 00:32:51 Okay, so on the list of all time, you know, current NBA players out of white, just out of curiosity, do you all have an all time top three favorite white rappers? Come on, stat. I just got to ask. There's only like two white rappers. Okay. Who is this? Eminem, who else?
Starting point is 00:33:12 We'll start a campaign with this. Eminem, what's the guy name from Philly, killer? The one sign that Jada Kiss. Ha ha ha ha ha. Ha ha ha ha. Yeah. I know you're gonna have the white rapper's man tomorrow, bro.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Yeah. Yeah, let me do my takeover. Let me do my takeover. I know the nigga name. That was funny. That was funny. That was funny. No, the nigga from Jaded, that's Sonny Jaded Kiss. Eminem first, of course.
Starting point is 00:33:52 And then you got, who's my other favorite white rapper? Milly's. Who? Milly's. Milly's, yeah. I didn't want to say his name wrong. I knew who I was talking about. Milly's, yeah, I didn't want to say his name wrong. I knew who I was talking about. Um, Milly's and MGK.
Starting point is 00:34:07 MGK or Yellow Wolf? Who you think is better, Keller, MGK or Yellow Wolf? I want MGK because he my man. Yeah. No disrespect to Yellow Wolf. I just don't know a lot of his... his music, but... uh, you know, this is your opinion, Mase.
Starting point is 00:34:28 This is his or mine. Yeah, start trying to put me in White Beef. No, I'm not. You know niggas get mad, you don't put them in the top three. Yo, Mase Shink, I'm in top three. His album wasn't even a classic. I be hearing niggas talk about me. I'm like, bro, they just asked me a question, you know?
Starting point is 00:34:46 But yeah, I'm going M&M definitely. I think he's on everybody's list. And then you got, who else was nice, though, as a white boy? What about Beastie Boys? They got to be honorable mention. OK. They got to be honorable mention. Real hip hop.
Starting point is 00:35:03 OK. Cam, who are your top three? In no order. Well, Eminem is definitely number one for me. And then you gotta think about this is that I, you'll never know who these people are, but I'm thinking about people who push the culture for, for white rappers in a time where white rappers really, time where white rappers really, really wasn't being accepted.
Starting point is 00:35:27 I'm gonna go with a rap group called Third Bass. I have to go with Third Bass as a group. I knew you was gonna say that, Killa. I knew you was gonna say that. You did not know that, man. You went with the Beastie voice, that's on you. I knew you was gonna say that. Bro, bro, you wanna go with the Beastie voice?
Starting point is 00:35:43 I saved it for you. Nah, I know you didn't. With blood and heart, I knew you was gonna say that. I saved it for you, bro. You wanna go to a beastly voice? I saved it for you. Now I know you did. I know you did that. On Blood and Heart, I knew you was gonna say that. I was gonna say search, not third base. I was gonna say search. Oh man. All right?
Starting point is 00:35:54 Oh my God. On everything, I wouldn't lie about that. No. I know this nigga too well, yo. If you said on Blood and Heart, I'm gonna believe you, but I don't know what you'd say. I wasn't gonna say third base. I would've said search.
Starting point is 00:36:10 Because it's a debate show. It's a debate show. I can't have everything pause, you know? I would agree with you. I would've just said that I agree. Look, we agree with Eminem. Yeah, we agree with Eminem. Yeah, we agree with Eminem. Yeah, so why wouldn't I agree with you
Starting point is 00:36:27 if you said third base? Because listen, this is a time where, and like I said, it's not like they had, I mean, I'm nervous and shit, but they had the black community when it was really hard for a white person to excel in the black community. You gotta think about it was people like,
Starting point is 00:36:43 and don't get me wrong, the person about to say so, millions and millions and millions of records, but niggas was like, get the fuck out of here when Vanilla Ice came around. You know what I'm saying? They're like, ice, ice, baby. Then he's like, all this nigga milk in the game. You know, it led to a whole controversy.
Starting point is 00:36:59 But they like, yo, if he fucking, you know, this before nigga was using culture. But he was like, he's fucking the culture, that niggas was dissing him, et cetera, so for third base to be accepted by black rappers like EPMD and Childcore Quest and that group that they were hanging out with, not saying they was down with native tongues, but I would just say, pause, I was just saying
Starting point is 00:37:21 that they were accepted in the black community. And my third pick is God bless the dead, Mac Miller. Yes. Yeah. What happened to Marky Mark? You ain't got Marky Mark up there? Marky Mark, I don't consider him a rapper. I consider him doing great music,
Starting point is 00:37:38 but I didn't consider it rap. All right. What about Jack Harlow? Hold on, hold on. Yeah, Jack Harlow. I forgot. Jack Harlow is definitely. I got to do my list over. Jack Harlow? Hold on. Hold on. Yeah, Jack Harlow. I forgot. Jack Harlow is definitely I gotta do my list. Oh, Jack Harlow is definitely up there. Go ahead, Kim. Oh, do you know Marky Mark is that? Oh, my goodness. You
Starting point is 00:37:59 know, you know, but you don't know him as Marky Mark. That's what I'm trying to ask that. You know, who's Marky Mark? You know him, but you don't know him as Marky Mark. That's what I'm trying to ask, Stax. Do you know, who's Marky Mark? She's looking at me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:10 I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Marky Mark. You can't be this blind to hip hop, Stax. I don't. I literally don't know. Marky Mark, Marky Mark is actually Mark Wahlberg,
Starting point is 00:38:21 the movie star. He used to do music as well. Yeah. I didn't know that. From the entourage. Or like Ted. That's what I know. Yeah, I did not know that.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Yeah, exactly. Yeah, from Ted. Exactly. His name was Mark Wahlberg. She said from Ted. This is the comparisons that we have, y'all. I'm trying here. No, listen.
Starting point is 00:38:42 The reason I ask that is because I remember my son coming up to me like, yo, dad, I ain't no, he used to be rappers. And I know that you're around my son's age. That's why I asked if you even knew who Marky Mark was when Mace said it. But yeah, Jack Harlow's definitely up there as well. But I went and put him above the three people that I named. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth.
Starting point is 00:39:00 I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. I think he's at the fourth. Marky Mark was when Mace said it. But yeah, Jack Harlow's definitely up there as well. But I went and put him above the three people that I named. I think he's at the forespot.
Starting point is 00:39:10 But I think he's really, really, really dope. And like I said, he doesn't rhyme better than third base. Just third base at that particular time was really hard to be a white person in the culture. Let me ask you this. You got Jack Harlow before Beastie Boys? Absolutely. I wasn't really a big Beastie Boys fan,
Starting point is 00:39:30 to be totally honest with you. To me, they was more rock and roll than rap. Just my opinion. Even though people did put them in the rap genre because they were signed to Def Jam. Def Jam was a rap label, Russell Simmons, of course. But to me, just me, my opinion, a lot of people like would say consider rap.
Starting point is 00:39:49 As me personally, I didn't consider it a rap. I considered it more rock and roll than rap. Well, great list. And I love when we do the comparisons because I just think it's funny. Because if I told you I like 1900 Rugrats, y'all gonna look at me crazy. Because some people don't know who that is. I was called a YN because I said I like 1900 Rugrats. So do you know who that is. I was called a YN, because I said I like 1900 Rugrats, so.
Starting point is 00:40:06 Do you know who that is, Vace, Orkamp? No, I don't. I'm gonna play the song another day, so we'll see. But, yeah. You gotta catch up, Stat. I'm caught up, but in different ways, and that's okay. I've accepted that, I have accepted that. Okay, so Isaiah Thomas, he had some words from, for LeBron,
Starting point is 00:40:27 we will discuss after the break. What do you say now? Welcome back. Now let's get into our underdog picks of the day on Tuesday. We got a playing game. The Hawks will play the magic underdog has Trey Young at 27 and a half points. Do you have them higher lower Mace? Higher, higher. Ice Trey the gang.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Yeah, they play off. Life is on the line. He better get higher than 27. I'm going to go higher. OK, Dyson Daniels is at three and a half first quarter points. You have him higher lower cam. I'm going to go high. Yeah, I'm going to follow cam on this one. OK, and Paul Opencaro is at 43 and a half points, rebounds and assist.
Starting point is 00:41:18 You have him higher lower. Me, 43, 43 and a half. I'm actually going gonna go lower. I think he'll have a lot of points in rebounds, but I don't know about 43. I think it'll be right there, 42. Cam. It's a tough one, man.
Starting point is 00:41:39 Underdog did a good job with 43 because we know he could go for 50 and 40 easily. Talking about just points, we seen him do it before. I'm gonna have to go higher, because like I said, everybody's playoff life is on the line right now. If he wants to win, he's gonna need those numbers. Okay.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Waystat, Waystat, you asked us about rappers. I wanna throw something in there, pause. Okay. Who are your top five whack rappers of all time? Whack? Not just any? It could be anybody. Ice J.J. Fish.
Starting point is 00:42:18 You're probably like, what? I didn't think on that. On the top of my head. What is his name? Ice J.J. Fish. Ice J.J. Fish. There's something about you girl. You never heard of him before?
Starting point is 00:42:28 No? Bluefish? Can I say that? Killa, who is your top five wack rappers of all time? I'm not indulging in that. You were stacked to have that. And that's so valid. I should have said that, but I already started.
Starting point is 00:42:44 You can't like to ask me to. I wish I could have that. And that's so valid. I should have said that, but I already started. You can't ask me that. That would have been great for you right there. Who is your top Bob, Whack Rappers of all time? No, that's a legit question. I just don't have time for them to start fucking with me after I tell them they whack. Number one, Jello Ball.
Starting point is 00:43:06 I knew you was going to say that. You always know something. You always know something, man. You always know something. He ain't your top five, no killer. I'm trolling. I don't know. Listen, to be honest with you, I don't know his raps. I know he did a great hook.
Starting point is 00:43:33 And the second one that he did, it ain't hitting, but it was like it was the first one. The second one ain't really hitting. Not like the first one was. But you know, when I was listening to his first song, I was saying that it was a good song. He got to step up the bars in between the hooks, cause obviously he can make some hooks. It's looks real good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:53 Well, right here on it is what it is. Go on our chat right now in the comments and put down your top five wackest rappers of all time. And you can do them in different seasons, like in the 2000s, who was your top five wackest rappers of all time. And you can do them in different seasons, like in the 2000s, who was your top five? In the 90s, who was your top five? And right now, who is your top five? We would love to hear who that top five is.
Starting point is 00:44:16 You're asking the question of who is yours. Yeah, great question, Cam. I'm gonna put mine on the post. Shhh. You'll be from a spam account. No, I know who my top five is. I know who my top five is. You can't name one?
Starting point is 00:44:38 Nah, nah, it'll mean too much. Like Cam, when Cam says who his top five is, it'll crush too many people. Cause my top five may be people people think is lit. Yeah. Okay. I get what you're saying. Kind of like the conversation we had last week, the messenger says it changes everything.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Well, if you ever decide to, you know, say the list, you can. Bob, put the list up, Bob. Put it up right now. Thanks. Okay. So back to underdog real quick. So they dropped their playoff basketball promo. So for each additional game played in a series,
Starting point is 00:45:10 you'll get an increasingly bigger booth and it can get real serious when game seven hits. So get on underdog, make your picks during playoff basketball and make sure y'all get started now. So Isaiah Thomas, he had some words regarding LeBron James for warming up shirtless and in a du-rog He said if I was the GM or coach I would never let one of my players walk out on the floor looking like this I mean, we are a professional NBA league. We ain't summer league. We ain't the YMCA
Starting point is 00:45:37 He also said if Adam Silver wants to find something fine that so Mace Do you think that professionalism has diminished in Mace, do you think that professionalism has diminished in the league, or do you think, you know, it's dragging it a little bit? Sound like hate to me, I'm gonna keep it real. I know hate when I see it. And this is definitely why they say it's giving hate. It's giving hate.
Starting point is 00:46:00 This is definitely giving hate. LeBron running out there with his shirt off, Duncan running full speed at 40 years old Can't say nothing about his game. Nigga got his shirt off. Look at this nigga. You know, you what was that belly when he said? I don't like that This nigga running around with his shirt off with the du-rag with his shirt off with the do-rag going, dunking the ball, popping out of the rim. He's not in the league.
Starting point is 00:46:28 He definitely hating. I just sense his hating. I love Isaiah Thomas as a player, but this is definitely giving hate vibes. That's what I'm taking from it. Did you actually see the clip, Mase? I'm just asking. Did you see the clip? Yeah, I saw it.
Starting point is 00:46:44 You just said it, I saw it. You just said it. I saw it. It was, yeah, the nigga was hating. Yeah. You know, it's one thing to read it, and it's another thing when you actually see the clip. Yes. When you see the clip, you like, yo, calm down.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Second part of our doubleheader tonight, LeBron James will play the game like this. Church and skins with their doing. I just told me 100% objective is and I was the GM of coach who I would never let one of my players walk out on the floor looking like this. I mean, we are a professional NBA league. We ain't summer league. We ain't, you know, at the YMCA. Listen, I think coaches just got to go back to suits.
Starting point is 00:47:34 After. I just mean. After, mm-mm, Lutely. You know, I just think. College Ampro. I just think the professionalism in our NBA league has diminished so much. And look, I like LeBron, I'm a fan of his,
Starting point is 00:47:54 so forth and so on. But to walk out on the floor before a game with no shirt on and shoot, I mean, come on, man. Where we at? What we doing? Where we at? Zeke, it ain't even that serious. Zeke going off. Oh, yo, he reminded me of some nigga from like,
Starting point is 00:48:15 who like 76 who just hating on it. Cause he was so disgusted watching it. He was like upset. He was, you could see, vis disgusted watching it. He was like upset. He was, he was, he was, you could see visibly upset about it. And I'm like, yo bro, you act like this is not the lab line before the game. You know, I can see- Working out.
Starting point is 00:48:35 I can see if he's, yeah, you know how niggas come up, the arena's not even super full yet. He's in there before the game getting shots off. Now I can see if, and I still wouldn't agree, but I'm just saying I can see if LeBron was on the layup line with all his teammates and everybody had their jerseys on, and he was on the layup line chest naked, boss, when everybody's on the court with their jerseys on. It wasn't even that environment, yo. He came off real bad looking bad, bro.
Starting point is 00:49:06 He looked old. And Zeke, my nigga, I fucked with Zeke, but he looked old and he looked upset, like really, really, like it threw his mood off. You know how a son happened to throw your mood off for the day? It looked like when they cut from what they was shooting, he was mumbling to himself about,
Starting point is 00:49:23 fuck niggas out here, they shirt off. To the point where he drove home and called somebody about it. This nigga brawn with his shirt off? What the fuck is he doing? The NBA just going anywhere these days. It looked like it visibly made him upset for the rest of that day. And it came off as not just Unc vibes, Grand Unc vibes.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Yeah. And it looked bad. Yeah. I didn't like it. Yeah, you're right. It looked like he wanted that moment for him. Pause. He wanted that. You got to remember LeBron is running around at 40
Starting point is 00:49:57 at top speed, getting dunks and investing into his body. And here go, Isaiah Thomas, his body is broken down on him a little bit, you know, through the years. So, you know, they say you'll never be critiqued by a person doing more than you, you know? So this is one of those situations where he's being critiqued by somebody that is doing less than him.
Starting point is 00:50:21 That's all they can do. They can't beat him on the court. So this is the time where I got to stand with LeBron. LeBron is flying. He put two million into his body and Isaiah don't like that. He's mad. He doesn't like that.
Starting point is 00:50:37 But think about it as well as that. We are having still superstars at 36 Kevin Durant, Steph Curry's 37, LeBron James is 40. As great as Isaiah Thomas was, he finished his career at 33 years old. So a lot of these players that we used to look at, because you know that's another argument, Sin likes to argue with me like, y'all thought you said Baton they 34, 35, their and I'm like it used to be like that now We got these players taking care of a body load management Resting getting the right nutrition the right exercise
Starting point is 00:51:14 And their careers are lasting longer So you may have older players better that they didn't get the play over 33 34 years old 35 years old to where these players, pardon me, these players are still looking really, really good. So yeah, it comes off as hate, it really does. Yeah, I could see where the hate is coming from or where the disconnect is there because you got Lord Zeke against King James.
Starting point is 00:51:46 You know, you feel like he's a king in his own right, but he never was running around with his shirt off. At least we don't know about it. Okay, and then last thing before we wrap. So, in the Knicks' last regular season win over the Nets, McHale Bridges played six seconds before purposely fouling a Nets player to extend his consecutive games played streak
Starting point is 00:52:07 to 556 games. So, Mace, what's your opinion on this streak that he has maintained, especially because we've seen a lot of players, you know, not really playing the game. The streak is fake. The streak is fake. I'm gonna go ahead. I'm not spending a whole bunch of time on this. Sin City, this is what we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:52:24 Y'all doing vulgar stuff. The stretcher streak pause. This is crazy. This is that new hotness is always the hottest, man. Ain't nothing hotter than new hotness. Nigga get in and fake a streak. That's crazy. Who is this agent?
Starting point is 00:52:46 I wouldn't be surprised if he leave New York this summer, man. Don't be doing that. New York don't like that. Cause I'm surprised this ain't make the daily news. This should have made the New York post. I'm going to check the news for this. Mike, don't do that in New York, man. You people turn on you. What you guys say killer. people will turn on you. What you guys say, Keller? They'll turn on them. It was on the New York Post, but like,
Starting point is 00:53:09 not anything bad. Cam, your thoughts? Yeah, I agree with Mase's fake, but let's think about it. We have no idea what these contracts are like. You got people who'll be like, yo, Coach put me in, cause you know, if I play all 82 games, I get a bonus. And it isn't like he, it wasn't,
Starting point is 00:53:31 and the thing about it is it wasn't like he wasn't ready to play, but because the next spot was solidified, they say, yo, look, cause you let me get in the game for a few minutes, cause I'm ready to play the whole 48 minutes if need be, but it didn't make sense because they already locked in the third seed. So I got mixed emotions on it.
Starting point is 00:53:52 I agree with Mace 100%. The streak is fake, but we got to look further and it may be a bonus in their contract. You know, a lot of times it's little things and little incentives in the contract to make you wanna say, not to make you wanna say like, yo, I need that extra 250. Let me get that extra 250. So I don't know, but as far as it being a real street, I agree with Minks, but then at the same time,
Starting point is 00:54:19 I don't know what his contract is like. Yeah, I guess this is where we all agree because ours says a fake street'll say is a fake street killer says a fake street, but who knows what the incentive is and then stat'll come and say, well, if you can get away with it, you know what I'm gonna say? Hey, I rather that than you not play at all. Some sort of dedication there. So I respect it.
Starting point is 00:54:40 If I help him get the street, you guys split the incentive for real. That's what I'm it. If I help him get the streak, he got to split the incentive. For real, that's what I'm thinking. That's how it is. If you tips, like, throw me something. Yeah. You can try. We'll see. Well, y'all, that is all the time that we have for today. Thank y'all for watching.
Starting point is 00:54:58 And as always, it is what it is. Thanks for watching guys!
