Okay, we're back at it.
E! It is what it is.
I'm your host for the week, Arabia Tilly,
filling in for Stap Baby this week.
And today we are joined by Cam and our special analyst today
since Mace is out, Tyrese Halliburton.
How are you?
I'm good, I'm good.
Reese, what's up, man?
What up?
Appreciate your having me.
First of all, I've been working with this young lady
for probably going on two years,
and this is the first time we actually met in person.
In person.
Look good.
Thank you.
So do you.
I know that, but I'm just saying,
As good as you look on the screen, but seriously, thank you.
And thank you for coming in this week.
You do a spectacular job with all NFL with your page and NFL in general.
We know it's a playoff.
So we're going to see what's going on for basketball right now.
And it's also draft week, so we got a lot to talk about, man.
Definitely.
Reese was good, man.
Looks good, man.
Listen, I don't know if people see me on the internet yesterday or anything else.
Just know I changed my socks underwear and T-shirt, man, because I was out last night with this,
but I haven't been home yet.
So I was at a friend of mine, but I made sure I went to Walgreens and Walmart and changed up everything.
So don't be like Camas.
We're good.
We're good, man.
Reese, what's happening, man?
It was good, though.
You're good?
Listen, we're about to talk some basketball, some players before I've been able to ask us the NBA questions.
I want to ask you a few questions.
How do you feel when people will be like, he only be with white girls?
He never be with nobody.
That don't bother me because you got to think, like, my fiancee, she's a white girl, you know what I mean?
So she's from...
We see you hopping on the, like...
Dog.
But the father here, I'm from Wisconsin.
Right.
I grew up around all white people, you know what I mean?
My girl is from Iowa.
She grew around all white people.
You know what I mean?
So all like, that video where you see me hop on the car
with a bunch of white girls, it's like her sister
and all her friends from growing up.
Got you.
So people killing me.
I'm like, these are just our people from growing up, you know?
Exactly.
Exactly.
How did you feel when your father ran down on Janus?
during the playoffs.
How did you feel about it?
You know, the funny thing is I really didn't know
it was happening until I got to the locker room.
I checked my phone, my Twitter's blowing up.
Niggas text me, what's good with Pops?
You're honest.
I'm like, what are y'all talking about?
And then I seen the video, I said, damn.
I was, you know, not that I was disappointed.
I just, I was mad that that's what they wanted
to turn the conversation into.
And like, he handled it correctly after
and every swatter under the bridge now.
But at the time, I was, I was low-key hot with him for a little minute.
What was that conversation?
like after you found out when you went home later
or whenever you spoke to him, like,
what did you say to him when you seen him?
I called him, I was getting a massage,
I called him, I said, hey, bro, what happened?
And he, you know, man, I don't, I blacked out,
I don't even remember I was on the court celebrating
next thing you know, voo-woo, who, who.
I'm like, man, I'm like, now, I was looking mad.
I probably, I don't ever like get at my pops or yell,
you know, it's respect, my dad, it's OG, you know,
but I was like, man, I'm just mad that you handled it that way,
whatever, whatever.
We had a lot of conversations after it, but he was
very apologetic and, you know, we just moved on.
No, that's what's up.
Your playoff run last year was
something epic. Like,
you said at least one game,
you had a game winning shot
in every series of the playoffs.
I'm from New York.
I'm not, I'm not seeing Mr. Spurs, but I'm from New York.
I'm not going to have high blood
pressure, disappointment,
so on and so forth being the Knick fit.
The Knicks having, I'm not old enough. I'm old,
I'm not even old enough to see the Knicks one.
They haven't won in 53 years.
When you hit that shot and you hit them with the Reggie Miller choke.
Now, I know you thought you won the game, but your foot was on the line.
How long have you been thinking about doing that?
Because I was growing up, I was probably a teenager,
maybe junior high school when Reggie Miller actually did that shit to the Knicks.
And when I seen you do it, I was laughing so hard because New York fans really thought you missed.
And the ball bounces up and then it goes in.
That couldn't have been spread of the moment.
You had to think in your brain, one of these days,
I'm going to come in Madison Square, go,
and have this opportunity to do this.
And it, y'all won the game, so it ended up working out.
How long had you been thinking about that?
You know, I grew up, you know, they, I didn't really like,
obviously that's like before I was born, those, like, Pacers Nick series.
And, you know, they had the 30 for 30 on ESPN back a day,
the Reggie Miller, the winning time, right?
So I used to watch that all the time.
That's how I got to know who Reggie Miller was.
Right.
And so when I got traded to Indiana, that conversation was always there.
You know, I'm like the next Reggie to the Pacers, whatever.
And so from there, every time we play the Knicks, I'm like, damn, I'm waiting for the right time.
Like, it's going to be the right time eventually.
And everybody always like, yo, you got to pull out the choke, whatever.
I'm like, but you can't just do that and look thirsty.
Right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They got to be the right home.
They got to choke a lead and it's got to happen the right time.
Right.
And that's exactly what happened.
So I was like, I was low-key mad that I broke it out and it didn't win the game.
You know what I mean?
but it's definitely something memorable,
some will remember forever.
I gotta give you credit
because we listen to it.
When we play in New York,
or we play these teams from these cities,
we usually listen to artists from the city,
you know what I mean?
So a lot of times in the locker,
and we listen to a lot, man.
Especially the song that makes me think
the most about those series is I'm ready.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
We used to rock that shit all the time.
I appreciate you.
I put the battery in your back basically
to go do that.
What's up.
Now, I appreciate it.
How tough was it, right, for, and I'm sitting there watching your playoff run last season.
And I'm like, y'all can say it you were because sometimes you get scrutinized because they say he's hirky jerky or he's not a traditional point guard or you know, you don't play like Chris Paul.
You have your own style, but it works.
How disappointing was it to get to game seven?
And you, you was already injured and people who see you play your heart out.
And then, of course, any injury is always disappointing.
But how disappointing is it to see you game seven championship?
One game away from winning and then not being able to win it.
What's your offseason like?
And what's that mentality like?
What's their motivation?
Of course, your motivation to get back out there winning.
But how bad is it?
How depressing is it?
Because we hear players talk about all the time when they have the injury that you have,
the journey to get back.
Was it really tough for you over the summer?
Yeah, for sure.
That summer was hard, bro, because like you said, it's like, it's almost like dealing with, like, the best way I could compare it with, but it's bigger than that is like somebody's first heartbreak.
You know what I mean?
Like that's what it was to me because everybody was talking about how bad was the pain, whatever, whatever.
It wasn't about I got hurt or like the injury.
I knew I was going to get surgery and whatever.
It was just more so about the heartbreak of being in that situation.
Somewhere you dream of being at your whole life and it just kind of, you know, get ripped out of your hand so fast.
So that summer, I mean, last summer was like, I don't want to say it was the worst summer,
because I got engaged and had some good things happen, you know, but like having to go from,
you know, almost like being like Superman at the top of the game, like literally, you know,
48 minutes away from being at the top of my sport, like, you know, doing something that niggas
could never take away from me.
Right.
To like, I can't even walk, you know what I mean?
I can't shower without assistance.
I can't like get dressed and undressed without help, you know?
Like that's hard and that's like hard to
hard to accept so it took a while but
you know once I got through that and you know
I had a great support I have a great support system of my family
everybody took care of me made sure I was good
but it's still hard bro like even talking
about it like I don't
try not to like go back I don't even really
watch the old games like that like
we had a crazy playoff run it's hard for me
to even go back and watch because I know
how it ends you feel me?
But I'm a big believer in everything happens
for a reason I'm a big believer that
you know what goes around like this
this happened to me, but there's a reason for this.
And, you know, it's going to empower me to do some more special things in my career.
So, you know, I ain't going to lie, brother.
We, what, day two of the playoffs today?
Yeah.
I don't know if I've watched a game.
Right.
You feel me?
I came out here.
I said, man, I'm going to watch WrestleMania.
Right.
I'm going to get away, you know, like, even the season, like, I watch our games.
But it's hard for me to, like, I love NBA basketball.
I probably watch more hoops than most people in the world.
Right.
But this year, bro, it's hard because it's like, man, I can't even hoop.
Like, this shit just pissed me off.
I watch a team play well.
I'm like, man, if I was playing, we dog them.
You know what I mean?
So it's been hard, but, you know, I'll get back in high competitive basketball.
But, yeah, I can't wait to get back out there, bro.
Who's the best guard that you've played against in your career?
That's tough, bro.
There's so many.
There's so many.
I know it's going to sound crazy.
I feel like the point guard position we, like, in the best place, maybe it's ever been.
Like we might be the deepest the position's ever been.
So you can go down the line.
It's hard for me not to say Steph.
Okay.
Because I really believe he's the best point guard of our generation.
He's like, you, and like, when you scout him, you like, you, other dudes, like, if we
playing like Luca or Shea, I look at him, I'd be like, damn, y'all got to guard him
tonight.
Good luck.
I'll be in the gap.
Help you, right?
You know what I mean?
But Steph is like, he off the ball the whole time.
So, like, if he gets, if whoever guard him gets screened crazy, right?
You got to switch.
And then it's like, damn, now I've got to chase him.
to sneak through, you know, two, three screens.
It's like, it's a long night.
So it's hard not to say Steph.
We obviously lost to Shea in the finals,
and he's probably going to go back-to-back MVP,
so he's probably the other one.
But, yeah, man, you can go down the line.
Our position is like, I think it's as deep as it's ever been.
Right.
So you say Steph, you say, Shay, you say Luca.
Do you think you're the best point going to East Coast?
Oh, for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah, for sure.
Come on, dog.
Yo, bro, I'm just saying.
What else is he going to say, though?
Yeah, come on, bro.
Bro, I'm just saying because, listen, man, listen,
You got to, the Knicks went today by 20.
You know what time.
It is Jalen Brunston.
There's Jalen Brunston.
Jalen Brunson.
All year round, Jaylen.
Show up to Jalen Brunson.
Arguably, one of the best in the whole NBA right now.
New York niggers don't want to hear that anybody's bad than Jail.
For sure.
They sit here and say that Jalen Brunson is bad than Shay Gilder's.
So you're better than Jailen Brunston.
That's a nerd.
Come on, right?
I just think, like, it's impossible.
You can relate.
It's impossible to be, to, like, achieve the most
if you don't believe that you're the best.
Like, there's no way.
And, like, even I get on the court,
it don't matter who it is, bro.
Like, I, even, we've played the bucks
the past two playoffs, right?
Right.
To me, Janice is, there's an argument
every year he's the best player in the world, right?
Right.
But, like, when I play these games against Milwaukee
and the playoffs, I'm like,
I'm the best player on the floor.
I just have to view it that way.
And it could be almost a delusional confidence,
but that's what allows me to do what I do.
You know what I mean?
So I just feel that way about everybody.
Like I said, I respect everybody.
I think everybody's great.
But, like, of course, I step on the floor,
I believe on the best part on the floor every night.
As you should, as you said.
Yeah, speaking of your peers,
I mean, you were voted the most overrated player in the NBA by your peers,
which is crazy to begin with,
that they would even have something like that.
Did that motivate you to go on the run that you did?
Like, what did you think about that?
For sure, for sure.
I think for me, like, I wasn't a super-house.
highly recruited kid or anything.
I always have had people talking shit about me my whole life.
Like, I'm used to it, you know?
And I had a tough year for most of the year last year.
Like, I struggled early, battle with some injury stuff.
So, you know, so when this came out, it was pretty funny.
And it came out at the right time, too, because I'm the type of dude.
Like, I see something like that.
It's the battery.
You know what I mean?
It's the battery I need.
So it came out right before the playoffs.
That's what I feel like helped really.
And it wasn't even just me.
It was like our team felt like it wasn't just disrespecting me.
was disrespecting our team as a group because it was like, damn, y'all calling him overrated
and he, our leader, said, we must be we.
You know what I mean?
So I feel like everybody is a group.
Like, it helped, you know, push our team along.
Where do you think next season Indiana is at?
Do you think your team is in a rebuilding phase being that you lost a couple key pieces
or do you think that you'll be right back where you were at before your injury?
Yeah, for sure.
I mean, I'm looking at it.
I'm ready to, I think we're going to be one of the best teams in these compete for a championship, to be honest.
I know it might be crazy because, you know, we're one of the worst teams in the league this year.
I think, yeah, you might be a little crazy, man.
No, I might be a little crazy, but I think, you know, we getting a longer offseason guys get to, you know, take care of their bodies, do what they need to do.
We're going to get a top pick, you know, hopefully if we get the pick in the lottery.
And I'm coming back.
And, you know, I don't mean to say that in an arrogant way at all.
but, you know, I know who I am,
and people know who I am, so we'll be ready.
That's what's up, man.
Let's talk a little basketball.
What you got from here already?
Well, congratulations on your bag.
Appreciate it.
You got an extension recently.
Have you blown in on anything crazy,
or are you being responsible?
No, I think I'm being pretty responsible, honestly.
Like my first, like, when I signed my deal,
one of my, I bought a rolls, a rolls, a cullinan.
And I'm not even a car guy.
You know, when you get money, you're just doing shit.
That's right.
I got a cullinin.
And then, man, I got tired of seeing that lease payment come across my bank statement.
So I got rid of it like a month ago.
I said, man, I'm tired of this.
But for the most part, I don't think I've done anything crazy.
Just try to live correctly.
But I don't think I've done anything crazy.
Okay, good.
Good.
Well, congratulations again.
Appreciate it, appreciate it.
So speaking of the Knicks, the Knicks beat the Hawks 113 to 102.
Jalen Brunson had 28 points.
And Carr Anthony Towns had 25.
Was this game important for the Knicks to set the tone to start the playoffs?
I don't know how much you watch.
You said you ain't been watching that shit.
Yo, see, y'all don't know what I have to deal with,
dealing with Nick fans.
Yeah, Ken, what I told you.
Yeah, what I told you.
No, da-da-da-da-da.
Yo, it's the first game.
Calm down, Sin.
Sin, calm the fuck down.
Stop calling me.
Cidlin Bruns out 19 in the first quarter.
Yo, relax, relax, yo, because you're going to jinx them.
The Knicks, honestly, look, make a long story, so let me answer the question.
They should have won this game.
It's good to set the tone at home.
They have home court advantage.
But anything less than making it to the championship is a disappointing season for the Knicks.
I'm just going to say that.
I think that winning the games, like I said, is important.
But you think about this, they fire their coach.
They fire tips.
And they bring in Mike Brown.
Essentially, you bring in Mike Brown to win you five games.
you're a game away from the Eastern Conference Championship
actually against
Tyrese and the boys you lose that game
and then you four games away from winning
they get rid of Tibbs because the players don't like them
so on and so forth
so New York you're expected to go to the championship
we said this at the beginning of the season
why are you expected to go to the championship
Tyrese Halliburton's not playing
Jason Tatum is out
these are and we don't know Paul George
we don't know what the fuck I have Paul George plays when he wants
Suis or steroids this year.
He's podcasting.
Joel Lambede is not consistent.
So you are supposed to go to the championship this year.
Don't call me game one of the first round of the playoffs.
Congratulations.
But I think y'all should have won this game.
And to be honest, this should not go past six.
To be honest, this should be a five-game series.
But don't let it get to seven games.
It should not go seven.
So please don't call me to him out, yeah, you see what we did.
You did what you were supposed to do.
Speaking of that, Tyree, how do you feel?
Who do you think in the East should have won,
starting at the beginning of the season,
was your favorites to go to the chip this year in the East?
Being that you aren't playing and there was other injuries.
Yeah, I probably would have said coming into the year, honestly,
I probably would have said in New York, right?
That's what I thought really would be probably the one seat in the East.
But Detroit had, you know, a crazy run all year.
I saw they lost today.
I didn't get to watch the game, but I saw they lost today too.
But yeah, I probably would have thought New York,
but then seeing what Boston's doing,
obviously Jason coming back, you know,
they'd probably be my pick to come out of the East,
you know, looking at it.
But I think in the playoffs it's so interesting.
Like, your job, if you're, if you're the road team,
your job is just win one.
Like, just win one.
So, like, you lose the, like, if you lose the first game,
it's kind of like, they, like you said,
they're supposed to do that.
You go back, watch film, be like,
okay, how can we, if we win games,
two, all the pressure is on them coming back to our crib.
You know what I mean?
So that's the interesting part when you're not in it.
It's like easier for me to say when I'm not in it.
But like when you're the road team, your job is just to get one.
So I feel like for Atlanta, you know, you just got to take the film, look at it, whatever,
be ready to go game two.
But if you're New York, you get two at the crib, you're just thinking, all right, if we go there,
we only need one.
Right.
Then we come back to the crib, finish in five.
So I'm curious to see how that series plays out.
But I'm probably pick New York to win that.
But see, the whole thing about it is this,
we haven't won in so long.
I'm not saying we because I'm not.
The New York hasn't won in so long
that we just get excited over too many things.
They go to the Eastern Conference Championship, right?
They name it streets after niggas.
It's Jaylon Brunson Avenue.
It's called Anthony Town Square.
It's fucking, what's the other nigga?
Fucking Mitchell Robinson Court.
O.G. Place.
Yeah, OG place.
Like, yo, it's the Eastern College.
They didn't get to the championship
and they name the streets after the niggins.
So when they get hype like this,
it pisses me off because at least,
okay, you don't go to the championship.
At least get, you don't win the championship.
You at least get to the championship
if you're going to start naming streets after they.
They light up the impasse building,
orange and blue.
You know what I'm saying?
Yo, it's ridiculous, Pete.
And so, congratulations.
Congratulations, Knicks fans, but like you did what you're supposed to do.
Same shit I said.
Same shit I said, man.
So congratulations on the win, but you did what you had to do.
Great way to put it.
Rees, let's move on to the next coach team.
Do you think the Knicks are a team?
We see it in the NFL all the time where, you know, November, December football is different.
When it comes to the playoffs, it's just a different brand of basketball even.
Are the NICs a team where when it comes to the playoffs, they turn up and they're different
than a regular season team?
or does a playoffs come and they kind of falter a little bit?
For me?
Yes.
They faltering for 53 years.
Fulter it.
You're faltering.
Fultering.
Yes.
They always falter them.
Look, man.
Yes.
Yes.
If they listen, they went to, all right, bust it, right?
I'm older than anybody.
So I've seen all this.
Michael Jordan won three championships.
And then he quit for two years.
And then he came back and won three championships.
During that two years, 94-95, it wasn't 94-95, right?
They won 91-92, yeah, 94-95.
People were so happy that he was going
because there was like, yo, it's an opportunity for somebody else to win.
The Knicks go to the championship.
They play against Houston.
That was your chance.
You let Hakeem Elijah on Bush, Patrick, you and ass,
and kill y'all niggas, man.
That was your chance.
y'all was up.
Y'all was up.
Then you go to the championship
the year it's a lockout.
And then you let the spurs beat you.
Listen,
yes, yes.
They always fought down.
You can speak from better experience
because he actually played.
I'm telling you for what I've seen.
If you never won a championship
in 53 years,
what do you want people to do?
You've been to two championships
in 53 years.
I'm not with it.
So the nicks are the bills, basically.
Patrick Mahome clears out.
It's time for Josh Allen and the bills to do the thing.
They go to four Super Bowls in a row, can't get it done.
So basically the Knicks are the Bucks ain't never go to no four championships in the row.
Ain't never done that, man.
What do you think since you've been playing up to Knicks?
I can only go off what's happened recently.
Yeah, I'm talking about since you've been playing.
Right, right, right.
So, I mean, I feel like last year where they were as a team, right?
They beat Boston.
Obviously, Jason got hurt in, what was that, game four he got hurt in New York?
but what they were doing before was pretty, like, it was crazy.
Like, they were winning the series.
I was low-key-sulte.
They were the team to beat Boston.
And I was like, damn, if anybody beat Boston, I wanted to be us.
But I thought last year, they had a good run.
They were playing really well.
They just, I mean, we played better.
But I think that they, I mean, I thought they rose to the occasion.
They played well.
Like, I didn't expect that series.
With Boston, honestly, I'm not even going to lie.
And this is going to be, they're going to say,
I'm hating, but I probably would have, going into that series, I was like, Boston going to win
and, you know, five or six, you know.
I think everybody thought that.
Yeah, everybody thought that, right?
And then when New York stole game one, did they steal game one and two?
I don't remember, but they was leading the series even when Jason Taylor.
When Jason got hurt, I think it was up to one, right?
Yeah, so they won both in Boston.
That's, again, like I said, you're thinking just get one.
But if you get two, it's like, damn, that puts the pressure completely on the other team.
So, like, to look at that series and them leave with two, like, man, they were playing so well.
I think they just, I mean, we were playing better at the time.
But, no, I don't want to say they fault.
They just, I thought they rose the occasion, just not all the way.
See, that's what I'm talking about.
That right there.
What?
That right there.
Mediocracy.
You know what I'm saying?
They rose to the occasion.
What occasion did they rise to, niggas?
Fuck you mean they rose to a kid?
They rose to make it to the Eastern Conference Championship.
That's what you said?
They beat Boston.
So that's their championship?
No, no, I mean.
So what they were occasioned did they rise to?
Yeah, I mean, what you want me to say?
He's trying to be nice.
Yeah, what do you want me to say?
I want you to explain rose to the case.
No, but Boston just came off winning the chair.
Right, right.
There's probably a favorite.
No, they was favorite.
You're absolutely right.
And it was a big deal to beat Boston.
But if you beat Boston and then they don't beat Boston.
the Pacers, what occasion is it really?
Because, okay, I'll give you an example, right?
You know Setho Marbury?
Yep.
Yep, so we played against each other in high school.
There's the number one team of high school.
We beat them in the semifinals, celebrate the whole shit, lost the championship, because
that was our championship, right?
Right, right.
These, they were like 60 Sunday and 0 for like years, two, three years.
But we didn't win.
So did we rise to the occasion?
What was Lincoln, which was name in school, our championship?
No, stop settling for mediocrisy.
That's what we don't do here, and that's what I'm not going to allow it.
We're not going to say you rose to the occasion.
You're not going to say, you beat the Celtics, which I agree with reason.
Nobody thought you're going to win.
Nobody.
It's outside of New York Knicks fans.
They definitely didn't think that.
But you can't name streets after niggas and avenues and corners and courtyards and everything else.
and then don't win it, don't even make it to the championship.
I'm not going to say that they're the Buffalo Bills,
because to be honest with you,
I put the Buffalo Bills ahead of the Knicks
because they went to four championship Super Bowls.
We can't.
Yeah, let's, yeah.
Okay, yeah.
Good luck, New York.
I want to come back home one of these days, possibly.
You know, they, you know, no niggas called me to perform at the garden
for the first game.
of the playoffs this season.
Had a lot of money, too.
It was decent.
I said, I'm not no opening act,
nigga like, yo, call me if y'all make it to the championship.
I'm not going, and I would love to come back
and do this for y'all, New York.
But I'm not coming back unless it's the championship.
You know what happened last year?
Shout to my nigga Buster Rhym.
Buster Rhyms.
Buster Rhyms called me up.
I told him, oh, we're getting the song together now.
We can perform it at the garden
when the Knicks go to the chip.
I said, huh?
He said, yeah, we're doing the song.
We're going to go in the studio.
So we performed the first game of the championship.
I'm like, let me know when they go to the championship.
I'm not stopping what I'm doing, going to the studio, go lay a verse down, all that.
And just for this phone call down, they're not going to make it.
This is the shit that New Yorkers do.
They jump ahead of the process, and then they think that they're going somewhere,
and then they jinxed their own self.
Buster, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
You know, 100% what I'm talking about.
Mediocracy, we're not going to do it here,
and I know you got to be politically correct,
but I'm going to be a translator for you,
what you really mean.
Y'all niggas, y'all didn't do anything.
Y'all beat Boston, and congratulations.
I'm wishing y'all well this year,
but my team's the Spurs.
We won last night.
Go ahead, my bad.
Yeah, well, hopefully the Knicks can get it together.
Moving on, the Cavs beat the Raptors
126 to 113.
The Cavs were 50% from the three,
but the Raptors were 47% from the three.
Ken, what do you think about James Hardin's first game as a cavalier?
First playoff game of the Cavalier.
Pretty good.
He had 22.33 minutes.
Look, last year, right, these are great questions for Reese, too.
Look, last year, right, it's a great thing.
Because Cavaliers, right, last year they won two million games.
They came in the first place.
They're like, oh, the Cavs this, the Cavs this.
And then they get to the playoffs and they fold, right?
You know, I think Donovan Mitchell's exceptional talent.
You got Mowbly in the middle.
I know Garland was hurt last year, which kind of handed them in Spider, which is Mitchell.
He was hindered a little bit as well.
But so you got this good team, and then you got James Harton,
who has a reputation of not showing up late in the playoffs.
You know, round one, he always gets past the first round, second round, et cetera.
What is this combination going to do?
I'm not sure because you got James Harton.
who outside of OKC hasn't been to a championship.
He has a bad reputation of losing game six or seven
and going to the strip club right after he loses.
It's documented with a little baby in these niggas.
Child's a little baby, I'm a smart nigga.
But, you know, we see this one of the nine points
who's a scoring title leader.
It seems like mentally checked out.
And then later that night, that nigga in the club.
It's documented.
Right wrong.
I would love to see what happens.
I think to me, this is probably, probably, I'm not going to say the best,
but the most talented back court right now in the playoffs on the East Coast, at least.
We got to see us going to produce in the wins.
I think they should beat the Raptors,
but I'm not going to put much stock into it because of the reputation James Harden-Havs
and because of the Cavs reputation with Donovan Mitchell,
not necessarily being 100% when it's time to be 100%.
What you think about that, Reese?
I like their team.
I'm excited to see what they do in the playoffs.
Like, I think, like, we beat them in the second round last year.
I think that they should win the series against Toronto, right?
And that's the, what's that?
Is that the three-six match-up?
Yeah.
Three-six?
No, no, no.
They're four-five.
And then they'll play the winner of Orlando, Detroit.
You know, I ain't going to lie.
I can see Cleveland going all over the conference finals, at least.
You know what I mean?
I can see that happening.
I think Hardin and Donovan pose something that's interesting
because last year with Darius injured, we really, like, it was all Donovan for them.
Like, he really controlled everything for them.
And I mean, I swear every game, he finished every game with like 40 or, like, he was unbelievable.
Right.
So I think having James to kind of calm everything down when need be make plays when Donovan is out the game
or even when he's in the game, you know, be able to play through something else.
I think it's going to be good.
I've liked watching them since he's got traded there.
And I could see them go.
I actually have them going to Easter Conference Finals.
So I think it's going to happen, yeah.
Okay.
The Raptors have a pretty young core.
Do you think sometimes these moments get too big for that, these younger teams?
Well, I don't even know if it's, I won't even say that.
I wouldn't even say that at all.
I think what Cleveland has, like Toronto is all wings.
You know what I mean?
Scotty Barnes, B.I., R.J. Barrett.
It's like they're very, very wing-heavy versus Cleveland having two real bigs to go against wings is like, it's a tough night.
And then on top of if you take those wings and be all right, we got to figure out if Scotty got to guard, Mowgli, you put Yaka-Purton on Jared Allen.
Like, you really got to figure out who's going to guard Donovan and James.
Those are tough matchups for everybody.
So, but again, it's one game.
It's one game.
Like, they're just figuring out, especially when you're a young group, you're just thinking, let's just try.
to get one and then we can go back to the crib.
And Toronto, winning in Toronto is not easy because Toronto is a good little spot.
So I'm curious how the rest of that series plays out.
Yeah.
Speaking of young teams, the Spurs beat the Portland Trailblazers, 11 to 98, Wimbee finished
with 35 points.
Cam, what did you think about this game?
No, it's crazy, right?
So I was on FaceTime with Damien Lillard the other day.
Because Trish, you know, Tris, who is filming in, who's another one of our analysts,
she's from Portland.
And Benavides, who's a boxer, he has a relationship with Damian Lillard.
And more of the story, he was, Dave was on the show,
and he's on FaceTime with Dane.
And they were saying how, Trish was saying how Portland's not going to be a playing team next year.
And I didn't know about Denny.
I'm not going to lie.
I'm just finding out about Denny about two weeks.
ago, that niggas good.
He's nice.
That niggas nice.
He's nice.
I didn't know.
You know when you in Washington,
who the fuck knows about anybody on Washington?
You don't know what's going on in Washington.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't need, I only see Tray Young on the...
Did he get suited up this year?
Anthony Davis is checked out.
They say, yo, niggins gonna send me over there.
Just call me next year, nigger.
I'm not reporting over there.
Fuck his niggas.
What I look like going?
That ass no.
Then y'all, I'm out of my line?
The nigga, you know, that niggia, they report this, yo, sorry.
Yeah, don't do too much, now.
Don't do too much.
I forgot.
I forgot who's up here.
Yeah.
Yo, but listen, it's the truth.
Y'all, you know, the football team, y'all should be, we'll talk about that later.
You know damn well your basketball team, y'all can play JV.
JV.
A great, great JV team might be able to beat the Washington Wizards.
Well, maybe if the NBA's draft process was a little bit more fair, we can get a number one overall
pick instead of this lottery situation
that happens, which I think is a little bit ridiculous.
Maybe we'll have an actual chance at getting some good players
and rebuilding an organization.
Don't look at me like I'm Adam.
They're fixing the lottery next year, they said.
Okay, good.
Oh yeah, they're looking at me like I'm Adam Silver.
What do you want me to do?
That's New York niggins problem.
You know, the last time we got a number of one pick him,
85, Patrick and, you know,
I don't run the lottery, man.
I don't run it.
I think it's fucked up, too, to totally agree with you.
I really do.
But shit, we don't rebuild three, four times
talking about the Spurr, we don't rebuild.
I'm not even a Spurs fan, dog.
She was probably about 94.
You know who Ross Strickland is?
Yeah.
So, Ross Strickland is my man.
Word, okay.
So when I played for an organization
called the Gouchos, he was older than me.
He used to come back and, you know, watch us practice and shit.
So when he went to the Spurs, I became a Spurs fan.
And when he left, I stayed.
I ain't no brand-new Spurs fan, nigga.
I'm Sean Elliott.
Just make a sure.
Just make a sure, you know what I mean?
Shout to Shaw, Sean Elliott, Avery Johnson.
You're a nigga.
Lloyd Daniels.
They try to catch me out there like I'm on the bandwagon.
I've been around, man.
But, yeah, I think the draft process is messed up to, you know,
even with Dallas getting the number one pick last year,
this shit was looking, that should look corrupt.
You need the patience to get the number one pick this year, man.
Yeah, it's a heavy draft this year.
He's a really, really good draft this year.
But, yeah, we don't know what's going on when it comes to the Wizards.
But back to what I said, I was on FaceTime.
That's why I didn't know about Denny.
That's what I saw him out.
Because he's on the Wizards.
But I was on FaceTime with Damien.
I shot to Dave, man.
And Trist was saying, oh, they're not going to be a playing team next year.
So when Dave got on the phone, he said,
yo, we're not going to be a playing team, Kim.
You bugging.
And I'm like, Dame, let's calm down a little bit.
He said, you bugging.
You think we're going to be a playing team?
I said, Dave, listen, you know you, my nigger
because Dane's my nigga, like, that's my man.
I said, but I remember, Dave, I hate to do this to you.
I remember one of your niggas reached when he hit you with the...
Dave, you reached on him, and he threw him her on the back
and hit you sideways with the dog.
I don't know if you remember that.
Dame going to make this face.
Yeah, I remember.
It's all good.
How do you see that?
Did you see it?
What are you talking about?
Wimby came down the court
Oh, I didn't see this.
I didn't see that there.
But he came down the court.
Sugar nigger, Dane reached.
He threw it behind the back on Dane and threw it sideways
because he said, basically I was saying all that
because Dame said that the Portland Spurs series
should be a good series.
Talk about the one that's going on there.
I said, Dave, you're not even playing.
I'm going to give them a game possibly.
I said, too, I'd be disgusted if it goes six.
But this is a little game.
Look, San Antonio and all realness and everything I said was real,
should win the series in his five, six games.
Winby's talking about how he should be MVP.
We know he's going to get a defensive player the year.
I like his attitude.
And Spurs, to me, coming into the season,
I'm saying that season or two away from making it.
But it seems like even though they have a young court that they want it now,
I'm still saying OKC should be the favorite.
I even like Denver because of the experience.
But if we're looking at the way San Antonio's plan coming in second in the Western Conference,
actually coming in second overall, if they're going to win,
and they think they can win now is the time to do it.
Let's get Portland now there and keep it moving.
But I do think Portland has a star on their hands with Denny.
I didn't know he was that good.
Let me ask you this, because I didn't know before last week, and I actually picked Sagoon.
Who do you like better, Denny or Sagoon?
Probably Denny.
Okay.
I like Denny, bro.
Denny is the same draft class as me.
Okay.
You know, it's interesting.
When he first got drafted to Washington, they still had Brad, and it was, and Russ was there.
And, you know, he, like, struggled, like, at first early, but you could tell he was getting a lot better as time was going on.
And then, you know, I think when he got traded, that kind of allowed him to spread his wings and really start to hoop.
But I probably pick, I probably pick Denny between those two.
You know, I didn't know about Denny.
So she said, yo, you bugging.
He's better than school.
When I watched the last three games, I'm like, Trish, I'm giving you your credit on this.
I didn't know, and I'm liking the way Denny looks like he wants, he's ready for the moment.
And it seems like Denny has more in his back.
Segoon's a real solid player.
But Denny's out there in the wing, and niggas is reaching.
He's teaching.
I really like Denny.
But as far as the series concerned, the Spurs did what they're supposed to do, home court advantage.
Number two seed.
outside of Denny, nobody really played good for Portland.
All the start is struggled.
We've seen Skoole have a decent third quarter,
but then in the fourth quarter, the Spurs came back
and ended up in the game by, what, 20 points?
I think there's about 10-half time.
Portland cut the one, and then Spurs won to run,
and made it look easy in the fourth quarter.
So I expect this series to go maybe five, six.
I wouldn't be very happy if it went six.
All right.
The Nuggets beat the Timberwolves, 116 to 105.
Yolkich had a triple double, and Murray had a game high 30 points.
Cam, now that the Nuggets are fully healthy,
do you think they're a team that's kind of being slept on right now as a threat?
Yeah, man, the Joker's my name.
I don't know Joker.
Like I know Dame, but to me, the Joker is the best playing in the NBA for a long time.
What I think that was missing for Denver
after they went, you know,
I was looking at Denver
being one of these possible dynasties
after they won their first championship.
But I think what's missing for Denver
is they coach yourself.
You got rid of Mike Brown.
You should have kept that nigga.
I don't care if Joker getting along with them
or not what's going on.
That core, I don't be getting when niggas be winning, right?
And I'm just acting.
You can do contest to this.
I don't know if you get along your coach,
your coach is sensational too.
He's an NBA champion.
It's the superstar and it's the fucking head coach, right?
And they're bumping heads.
If you're winning,
why everybody just can't get along
and come to work and go home, you know?
Shouldn't have rid of Bruce Brown in the beginning.
That's first or foremost.
Should have paid that nigga
because he's a key part of that championship
that he go missing.
We don't know where the fuck he had for you.
He was an indie.
He was an indie.
Oh, see?
We ain't even know.
He's Indy.
He knows the Toronto first, right?
We know Indy and then we trade them for Siakum.
Yeah, it's the Toronto.
Yeah.
I knew the nigga ended up in Cannes.
Shout to my name is a Ken and I like that.
But yeah, he just got missing.
But he's part of, he was a key part of a championship team.
You got the best out of Michael Porter Jr. at the time, you know,
I think that they could win.
But I don't know how good an experience that coaches is winning.
I think Mike Brown was excellent.
I just think that he rubbed players the wrong way.
but I thought if it equaled out to winning, it was good.
But when you got the joke on your team, you always got a chance.
I think Jamal Murray is excellent, too.
But I don't like Jamal Murray when he plays against SGA.
I don't like none of them niggas from Canada when they play against SGA.
Not like that, but it looked like SGB.
Like, I know y'all niggas.
I grew up with y' y'all niggas.
Because y'all niggas ass since I was 13.
Come on.
Stop playing with me, Ma'am.
Because Jamal Murray is nice.
But when he played against SGA, he'd be looking average.
Look, I'm just saying, when they come down to SGA, this is what it's going to boil down to.
Who's going to stop this man for getting 30?
He's only niggins Michael Jordan average in 30 points, four seasons straight on 50% shooting.
You break Will Chamberlain's record, 126 games, 20 points straight.
I don't understand why niggas.
Maybe they can't pronounce his name right while he's not to face of the NBA or what the problem is.
I don't get it.
Who's the face of the NBA?
He's going to have to pay the NBA.
The nigger is in your face.
He's an NBA champion.
NBA finals MVP.
What Mike Reister said, he's probably going to be a two-time league MVP.
I don't get it.
But as far as Denver's concerned, I think Denver is very slept on as far as coming
into the players because it's not a big storyline.
But when you got the joker on your team and if Jamar Murray steps up to the occasion,
Aaron Gordon isn't hurt, then you got a good team.
And I think they have a chance.
Even when they played their last two games,
I forget the second last game and last game against the Spurs.
He was busting Wemby ass.
Talking about the Joker.
He looked good against Wembe.
So I like Denver a lot.
We'll see.
What would you think, Reese?
Yeah, I think, I mean, the West to me is, you know,
I don't think it's anybody's, like,
OKC's probably a favorite because they just repeated
or they just came off a chip.
But the other two teams are obviously San Antonio and Denver.
Like, I think that that's very obvious.
I think this series between Denver and Minnesota is interesting because watching Aunt,
and obviously me and are pretty close.
I know him pretty well.
Like his knee, like he didn't look like he was necessarily moving 100%.
And everybody knows he's not 100% right now.
So that's made this series, I don't want to say, a little less fun for me.
But I hope that, you know, if he maybe hopefully after game one, that was just one game.
But you could tell that he's probably, he's not 100% right now.
So he's giving everything he got, but it's going to be tough.
for him. But I think the West comes down between Denver, San Antonio, and OKC.
Because I think any of those three teams can beat each other, really, right? And honestly,
health is the most important part. Usually it's the healthiest team in the end. Right.
I'm not just saying that because I'm a nigga guy. But I think that that's like very real.
So I mean, obviously the thing about Denver is a lot of those guys have been hurt this year.
Yokers miss some time. Aaron Gordon missed some time. They've had guys who have been hurt.
San Antonio hasn't really, when he was hurt a little bit, right?
and then came back, got right.
Shea's been hurt.
Jalen Williams has been out for a lot of the year.
So, I mean, you know, it's just a matter of when these teams do play each other,
you know, who's going to be the healthier team.
That's really how I look at it because I really feel like between those three teams,
it could be anybody in any series, to be honest.
Speaking of injuries, the Lakers beat the Rockets 107 to 98 and KD wasn't playing.
He was out with a knee injury.
If the Rockets don't get him back, can they beat the Lakers?
I don't know.
No, no, no, Ravia.
They can't beat the Lakers without Kevin Durant.
No, they might not be able to beat the Lakers with Kevin Durant.
So, no.
And then, you know, you sit there and watch the Bronn last game.
You're watching this 97-year-old man go out there and just, look, man, look, I'm Michael Jordan for my best player ever.
But year after year after year, I'm.
I'm starting to understand the argument.
The shit that LeBron is doing in his age is just amazing, right?
Every year, and I just get mad talking about the shit.
Because you try to get the keys to Anthony Davis.
He's like, nope, my toenail hurt.
I can't play.
No, I understand the injury.
I can't.
No, my fingernail is off today.
I can't play.
Andy Davis injuries, be wild.
Can't give him the keys to the joint.
You try to give him the keys to the joint.
He don't want the keys.
I just see some shit the other day talking about he don't know if his championship in the bubble is real.
Did you see that shit, Pete?
You seen that?
You seen that type of reason?
Yeah, I see that.
I see that.
I know you can't chime in because these are friends and shit.
But, yo, listen, what you mean?
It ain't real.
Brod come to you.
First of all, shout to Rich Paul,
shout to Braun, and I know they can't admit to this.
Think about the shit they ought to do to get you out in New Orleans.
Yo, don't play no more fourth quarters.
The niggas stop playing in the fourth quarter.
And they're like, yo, what you mean?
You're not playing fourth quarters.
I'll play fourth quarters.
Fucking trade them to the Lakers.
Get to the Lakers.
COVID happens.
You get a championship.
Now you don't know if your championship is real.
I can't help if you think it's real.
LeBron said that was the realest championship to him because it was no outside noise.
You just focus on basketball, et cetera, et cetera.
And I get where Anthony Davis is coming from.
He's saying, I want to go on a road than one.
I want to see what it's like, et cetera.
But to me, I understand crowd participation means a lot.
and traveling means a lot.
But this boils down to skill.
We're in the gym, nigger.
Ain't no noise, no nothing.
Is you better than me or you're not?
It's nobody here.
What are we going to do?
So I get where Anthony Davis has come from.
LeBron can give him the keys to the car.
Now, okay, cool, you get Luca.
You got Austin Reeves here.
Okay, cool, nigga.
I got some nice kids on it.
I got some nigga.
I got Luca, who's arguably one of the best point guards,
says, Tyree, says myself.
as well in the NBA, leads to league in scoring, et cetera.
Cursed is some freak accident where his hamstrings messed up.
The next week, Austin Reed goes down.
You know, they're probably younger than LeBron
would combine their ages.
If you combine both these niggas ages, what LeBron do?
Fuck it, let me step back to back.
Let me take it back six years.
Coming out, 28 points, 11 rebounds, et cetera.
Got to come back again, play again.
And play again, get another 24 points.
Finish with the third C in the Western Conference.
Come out again.
K.D. doesn't play.
Puts on an exceptional show.
And beat Houston.
Listen, man, LeBron get a lot of criticism from certain people,
but stop it, man.
What else do you want to do?
He's out there literally with his sperm on the floor.
Pause.
You, it's crazy.
Yo, it's your fan.
Yo, right, it is.
It is, the nigger sperm is on the court.
Pause.
That nigger offspring, he passes in the ball to his son on the court.
He made the nigger that's playing in the playoffs.
Yo, bro, you got your mom's there, your wife, your daughter,
and your son on the court playing with you.
Niggas is amazing, my nigga.
I think the thing is amazing.
shit ain't
shit legit, right or wrong?
No, right.
Listen, man.
I think,
I think Brony,
and, you know,
Bronny gets a lot of criticism
and so,
nepotism, etc.
I think he,
I think he's better than doing
what yon has got
going on up there in Milwaukee
with 92 brothers.
Yo,
how many brothers got?
Yo, how many brothers are you?
I don't know if you know,
It's like 17 brothers on one team right now.
Yes.
I know, then every time I look up,
it's a new anti-tacombo on the team.
Shout to Tito.
It's older bro, that's my nigga.
Or second youngest brother.
He's on the show, too.
That's my nigga.
But I didn't know it's these many Antoombo's on the team.
So I think Bronny's doing way better than them.
And then when you think about him coming in the 55th pick or 54th pick,
everybody who got drafted after him,
I did the research on that,
they averaged two points.
So I think this was the right pick.
Barney's averaging only three points.
But if you go to the 55, 55, 56, 57th pick, I did the homework.
They averaged it two point one points.
So it was a great pick.
And you're going to sell tickets and sell jerseys.
And get the storyline.
All that.
Answer your question.
Houston can't win without Kevin.
We don't even need to ask.
Because if he say something different, I know it's rigged.
I don't know where you go.
I already know.
You better not say nothing different.
Let's move on to the next game.
Yeah, sounds like we're packing Houston up.
So, okay, Steve.
I'll see if KD come back, though.
He warmed up before that game now.
That's not getting fucked up.
Yeah, he should be bad game too.
Yeah, he's warming up before game one.
While he didn't play, soreness, he says.
But I don't think KD's going out like that either.
Because you got to realize KD, he don't want to hear that shit
from Niggins Neva because they're going to hear like,
you know, that's the storyline coming in.
Who's this series more important for LeBron James?
or Kevin Durant.
So Katie will be back.
Okay.
So OKC beat the Suns 119 to 84.
OKC is a heavy favorite,
and it feels like this one versus eight matchup
has an obvious ending.
Do you like this as a seven-game series
or do you wish this was a shorter series
because we're just prolonging the inevitable?
Listen, the niggi, you know, realize right?
I didn't think, what happened to Devin Booker, man?
What happened?
man.
You know, I was watching Devin Booker.
Because Devin Booker by me, they talked about this
nigga with Kobe and all this. Like, yo, he's going to be like
Kobe and this, that third. And then K.D. get there.
Bradley Bill get there. And I understand
you got to dump your dame down when you have superstars
and try and play within the system
so you can try to win a championship.
But them niggas gone. You let the
nigger Denny dance on y'all niggas
over there. That's what I really had man in respect for
Denny. I felt. I was like, oh, you're dancing on Devin
Bukker and these niggas. Dillon Brooks
and all this shit. I'm like, yo, y'all
Let Portland beat y'niggas.
And then, of course, they won the next game and shit.
Gets Golden State.
But, what happened, man?
Devin Booker, you's gonna be one of them niggas, man.
What happened?
It's that Kardashian shit, bro.
Might be.
Yeah.
I mean, if you look at the associations, it's not a great track record.
Yeah, the judges and all that.
What you think?
Yeah, what's just...
About what?
What?
What I think about the series.
Yeah.
Or just your opinion on Devin Booker in the series, honestly.
Not relationship-wise, just as a player.
Because to me, he was like maybe three years ago.
He was about to be, to me, ascending.
And not saying he doesn't play well now, but it's like,
it kind of declined when I watch them, my opinion.
I got to go, I mean, I got to go watch the game
and see how they're defending.
No, not even just Devin Booker the last couple years since KD Bradley Bill been there and left.
Do you think he's still playing at the level he was playing at when he's scoring 70 and all this level?
Well, I think like when you add KD, add Brad Beale, like the role has to change.
You know what I mean?
And like any team KD's on, he's number one option for like offensively.
Like he's Kevin Durant, you know.
So I ain't really watched Phoenix this year to really speak on how he's been playing or how they've been playing.
But I bet it's different having to go back into that role, you know,
of kind of being, you know, the main offensive option and stuff like that.
But no, I mean, I can't really speak on it, to be honest.
I ain't really watched them enough to really know what's going on over there.
Your question, though, about seven or five.
That's interesting.
People were talking about that, like, because back in a day,
it used to be five games, right?
Yeah.
Like, first round was five games?
That's interesting.
I don't know.
I mean, I get it.
I get it.
But at the same time, like, there's more games,
gives more opportunity for something crazy to happen.
You know what I mean?
But how many 8-1 upsets have there been
since they went to seven games?
Probably not a...
I don't know.
I would have to do the homework.
There's probably not a lot in general.
You know what I mean?
So I get it.
I get the sentiment.
But at the same time, if you make the 1-8 game,
1-8 series, 5 games,
you got to make the 4-5, 5 games,
which that series is always...
A whole first-revers.
Yeah, that series is always closer, you know?
So I don't know.
If that's the case, I say just keep it seven.
You know, it is what it is.
The whole shit is, they're not fucking no money up.
More games isn't more money.
Yeah, for sure.
So they definitely not going back to that.
Like even today, I've even watched the games, you know, today,
and I'm sitting there, like, kind of to your point.
Like, I got to do this because I got to come to work
and know what the fuck I'm talking about.
But it's like, I don't really want to watch the first game.
I don't really want to watch it to maybe the second and third game
because then we'll see.
if it's 1-1 or 2-0, like he said, pressure with two people losing, a team winning on the road.
But I didn't even put a lot of stock into these games, but I have to watch them because
it's part of the job.
But I don't think it should get real to game two or three, to be totally honest with you.
Magic beat the Pistons 112 to 101.
A lot of people weren't sold on the Pistons this year as a one-seed.
are those people validated by this first game?
You start off today.
Validated by one game, I think that's so Fugasey.
That's so lame because it's like they're a young group, you know.
This is, I don't remember who they lose to last day?
They lost in New York.
Yeah.
Since they first time having a playoff series at home.
You know what I mean?
For the majority of that team.
It's a new, it's a whole new beast of a new pressure, like, new situation, never been in it before.
I ain't watched the game.
so it's hard for me to speak on that 100%.
But, like, you go into that game, it's different.
You know, it's different than you've ever had to play.
Like, I think my first playoff game was on the road in Milwaukee.
We got blitzed, and it was like, I don't even, I was like, man, this shit is crazy.
Like, we won game too.
But then this last year playing first game against Milwaukee at home,
it was a whole new experience because I was like, like, the pressure was on us to win
versus it being on them, you know, with the rolls reversed.
So pressure's on Detroit to take care of.
at home court and they didn't do that.
So now I'm curious what game two is going to look like.
Because if you're Orlando, it's like, why not get greedy?
You know what I mean?
Think if you can win two, like I said, you just got to go get one at the crib and figure it out.
So, no, I think it's just new pressures.
I'm sure that'll be fine.
And they've dealt with, obviously, Cade got hurt or was out with the blood clod.
He's just coming back, getting into rhythm and stuff.
So, you know, it's part of it.
It's a young group.
But I think that'll be fine.
You know, I think it's still a lot of time left.
they still could very, very easily take care of the series.
So curious, y'all game two plays out.
It's another niggas, New York niggas call me back.
Oh, you talk about Kay Cunningham should be a finalist for MVP.
Look, the nigga out of 39.
I don't know what else you want to do.
He had 39 a day?
Yeah, 39.
Oh, never mind.
He don't get back in rhythm.
Yeah.
He had rhythm.
Okay.
39, damn, okay.
He had 39 a day.
They lost by 11 points, but he had 39 a day.
And, you know, New York.
I told you that number one seed don't mean nothing.
See, you all done.
I'm not doing none but coming to work, nigga.
Yo, I don't know what y'all niggas want me to fucking do, bro.
What do you want me to do?
Act like I don't see what's going on.
Act like he's not a finalist for MVP.
Act like he's not, no, what the fuck?
Yo, now it's K. C. Cunningham, this, Kna Codna in shit.
You know, I don't know what your niggas want for me, bro.
Don't talk about it.
Nigger have 59.
I'm just exaggerate.
I have 59.
So what?
Don't say nothing.
Yo, what's...
Yo, niggas is wild, my nigga.
Only our culture.
They never satisfied.
Yeah, man.
Yo, never satisfied, man.
But, um...
But listen, um, look, I had Detroit this year, because we talked, speaking of the Knicks,
they average, they beat New York three times by average of 25 points this year.
And so New York fans don't like it.
They don't like, they don't like when people come into the garden and do that shit to them,
niggas.
And Kay come in him with him.
It's one of the people who, you know, it's not like it used to be.
It used to be a big deal when you come into the garden
because it's considered the mecca and you bust the ass, you know,
whether it's Kobe, whether it's LeBron James, whether it's Michael Joy.
And Kay Cunningham came in and did some shit outside of you,
putting the choke sign up on the niggins in the guard.
And then I remember, you know, it's the in-season tournament.
And Trey Young was a half-court rolling the dice on them,
niggins.
You know, New York fans take exception to that,
but that's the shit you gotta do when you're
You go to the guard.
That shit matters.
And when Kay Cunningham coming in there, it dropped 42 on you and pointing Spike Lee like this, nigga.
It means something.
So now they mad at Cade Cunningham.
The whole New York is mad at Cade Cunningham.
So I have to hear this today.
Yeah, I told you that niggins.
They wasn't going to win.
I said, it's one game.
Same thing.
I said, yo, you're going to jinx it again.
It's one game.
But one thing for sure is this, right?
Jamar Mosley's job is on the line.
And we're talking about the coach for Orlando.
And they're talking about if he didn't win the playoff game,
he'd be five the next day.
They're playing in game, pardon me.
They lost the first one, won the second one.
Now they're playing 1-8 seed,
and now you get the first game against the number one seed.
His job looking safe.
I think if he wins the series, don't know if he will.
He might be safe until next year.
And I don't want to see the man lose his job.
He did a decent job.
But I don't know what's going on with him and Ventero over there.
Seems like they're not on the same page.
But they look pretty good at the last two games.
We'll see what happens.
But when you're a number one seat like Detroit, you expected to win.
But it seems like Detroit had problems with Orlando this season anyway.
So we'll see what happens.
Okay.
Cool.
Well, that's all the time that we have for today.
Thank you so much.
Hold on, man.
Thank you.
You, good looking for coming through, man.
We appreciate.
Of course.
For under the show, come back whenever you want, man.
Appreciate you.
Wishing you a lot of health.
and get back on the floor, and I can't wait to see you play again.
And we'll see, go to that guard, man.
I'm telling you, when you get back to that guard, put on the show, it matters,
matters, bro.
But thank you for stopping by, Rachel.
I appreciate it, bro.
Definitely.
