Starting point is 00:00:04 Do you remember, um, do you remember that, that Spanish girl I used to go and like smoke with? Yeah. Um, she told me a story once, and I didn't know at the time, but she was a fan of 30 Seconds to Mars. And she said she went to a performance of 30 Seconds to Mars with her boyfriend. Yeah. Um, and the lead singer of the band propositioned her to, like, have sex. Jared Leto. And that's Jared Letto, right?
Starting point is 00:00:30 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And she said she. refused because she had a boyfriend. Fuck. Good afternoon morning, evening or really, really, really, really, really hot day. The hottest day ever in the country of all time. It's genuinely broken the world record for...
Starting point is 00:00:49 Today. The world record. The... In history, in June, it's the hottest day of all time. Nice. Yeah. Nice. Nice.
Starting point is 00:00:58 It's just a little Marcus Phoenix kind of moment. Nice. Gork. This is Brokehast Season 7, episode. 25. I am Alex, joined by Jim. 6-7. I didn't say that. I didn't fucking say that. Do you hear me?
Starting point is 00:01:13 Beep it. Nah, I'm done beeping. Well, you're going to change your mind pretty early. We don't need to beep anymore because now it's finally, we can take our masks off and be honest about the fact that we're a apolitical, free speech, extremist.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Far. What was it? Far. classical liberal far classical liberal yeah it's really hot Jim actually has his feet in a bucket of ice and I'm not even joking yeah genuinely
Starting point is 00:01:45 look at it drip that's going on fucking wiki feet I got a little red toe as well from when I went to Lanzagrotti do you see? Why is it red the nail varnish oh it's still stuck
Starting point is 00:01:59 yeah yeah well you can see how much it's grown since then and when was that March when did I go Was it March? Yeah, it would have been March because that's when I was in Berlin. Berlin? That's when you got...
Starting point is 00:02:10 Hey, Berlin! You got food poied in Berlin. Yeah. God damn it. Whoops. Before we get too deep into the show, let's shout out the Jarm Media patrons that make the show an audio version possible.
Starting point is 00:02:21 You get the raw unfiltered MP3. Ad free. Every goddamn week, and you can put it on your RSS feed host of choice, your pod beans, your Spotify's, when it works. That's not all there. You got your Patreon names right out the first or second week of each month.
Starting point is 00:02:36 So get those in ready for June and July. This will be, yeah. Yeah, there'll still be time. This will still be June when this comes out. Yes. Next Wednesday is the first of July. June in July. It's some sort of June in July.
Starting point is 00:02:54 You also get you after hours over there. Let's go. Complementary? No, supplementary. Show we've been doing nearly 100 episodes of. It's like vitamins. It's like your dose of vitamins, your supplement of vitamins. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:10 You get a weekly vits. Last time we did two white boys debate sinners. Which is pretty good. It's like a 40 minute discussion where we disagree with it on that movie. In the description, I put like, Jim, parentheses, woke and Alex prentzies racist talk about their disagreements on some. That's awesome. But if that's not for your stylings, we got the JAR Radio number two.
Starting point is 00:03:39 We both made a playlist and talked through some songs, which we could do in immense detail over on Patreon. That can't really be made public, unfortunately. I just made the, God, what was even called? The Star Wars movie, Mandalorian and Grosu. As they say, I made that public. I thought it was time. As rotter, as they say.
Starting point is 00:03:59 Not to spoil that review. but um i i totally forgotten that we'd made that review what does that say and it's like an hour 20 minute long discussion yeah yeah yeah i think it it might be um in terms of like my performance on a review of something it might be my best of all time yeah it was a pretty prime video not a prime movie but a prime discussion yeah for sure yeah i just felt um i don't know if it's star wars then it's in my wheelhouse and uh if that's not If somehow rotter is not your style. There's also dead bart creepy pasta reading, talking about the meme playlist.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Spies in disguise explain. There is so much over there to explore. Go and have a little look for yourself. And last but not least, the Jarm Media group chat. It's a group chat. Pluck things for housekeeping and the questions at the end when relevant. We have, I don't know, we got loads to talk about today, actually. But you mentioned something about like a dream that included James you wanted to?
Starting point is 00:05:02 Yeah. Let's just start out there. I don't, I don't like remember that. So in my dream, I was watching Supergirl in the cinema. Oh, right.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Cool. And in the dream, it rocked. It was a great film. So whatever I cooked up in my mind was fantastic. So go check out Supergirl. It's brilliant. According to Jim's dream.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Yeah. That can be a new series. Like dream reviews. We started like dreaming about film. Inception reviews. Yeah. Yeah. um not reviewing inception but yeah um but yeah james has somehow um inceptioned his cock into my dream
Starting point is 00:05:40 because i i had a dream where like we were talking and he just pulled his shorts down and his cock was just that out what's he doing with it in like a non-sexual way yeah totally non-sexual like we were talking like we might have been talking about or it might have been because it's so hot and it's like right you got to get his balls out yeah yeah and i'm like talking to him in the dream and then he just Whips his cock out? Was it to pee or like a comfort? No, no, just like... You know?
Starting point is 00:06:05 Like, toddlers always just like, hold their will even have it. Yeah. But no, he just whipped it out. And after everything he said about his cock, I was... Was he also reviewing Supergirl or was that just... No, no, this is like, um, dream two, you know?
Starting point is 00:06:22 Because in my dream as well, um, I was also playing 007, but I wasn't playing it. I was in it. I was like, one of the spies. And we were like on a mission. So I was dreaming like crazy last night. It was like fever dreams because it's so fucking hot. Right, right, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:39 And yeah, his his cock was out. That's the focus. I don't remember any more context, but I have officially seen James's cock. In a dream. And I was disappointed. James's cock is in your dreams. James' cock is in my dreams. His dream cock.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Yeah, James' cock is in my dreams and I was let down. Damn, really? It was a disappointing cock. I'll be honest. I hope you dream about James's dad this night. Yeah, well, hopefully his dad's got fatty because James definitely doesn't. So let's do some housekeeping then. Starting off with this one from Dylan,
Starting point is 00:07:14 we round off conversations from the previous week or whatever's relevant. I definitely don't agree with football being boring if it's too defensive because one of the best World Cup games so far has been Cape Verde versus Spain. Spain being the favourites of the tournament and Cape being ranked 67th. It's like David versus Goliath, but if Goliath was constantly trying to squish David, but he was parrying it Dark Souls style every time and every time you think, this is it, he's finally going to get squished. There's no way he can survive this one.
Starting point is 00:07:43 And he does. Okay. I hear you. I thought it was specifically saying when it gets deeper into the, like towards the end, when it's all the like obvious. Unless there's someone who's really like, whoa, fucking, they made it. They made it to the end? Well, it's like last night.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Was it last night? No, the night before last, there was the England Garner game. It was on Tuesday because I couldn't watch it because I was recording and I was kind of glad I didn't because it looked kind of boring. Yeah, exactly, because it was nil-nil-nil. I would prefer a one or than a nil-nil personally. Yes, yeah, because at least then something's like happening. And it has to be a tense part where one of them is scored and the other hasn't. Yes.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So the race against time element. It's like, let's go. Yep. Agreed. Yeah. But let's just say maybe we're thinking about turning into a football podcast full time. Nick Saladin, speaking of James, says, it's his time. Congratulations, Prime Minister House.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Yes, actually. Let's fucking go. Why not at this point? Yeah, let's do it. What do you mean at this point? Why not? At this point? You sound like it would be a... joke or something. He wouldn't...
Starting point is 00:09:02 He's a fucking joke at this point. Yeah, that's true. I can't read that. I can... I can't do it. Says, Jim saying that attitude era was a Taylor Swift reference. Was my last fucking straw.
Starting point is 00:09:14 I hope Stone Cold, Steve Austin stunners Jim to hell. If you want Stone Cold to whip Jim's ass, give me a hell yeah. Hell yeah. Yeah, that was fucked. Why? You said that.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Why? Because the attitude era. Yeah, there's a Taylor Swift thing? What is that Taylor Swift? My favorite Toy Story new song? And everyone went... Yeah. But it was one of her eras. In the era's tour.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Max and Jones said... What do you have more to say about? The attitude era. You can't just say I'm wrong, but then not say how I'm wrong. Don't you remember that? What? Stone Cold Steve Austin. And the attitude era of, like, wrestling.
Starting point is 00:10:00 That attitude. dearer of Taylor? No, of Rasselin. I don't know what you mean. You know, rasslin. We're oiled up, like, steroid guys, like, rassal. Yeah. Yeah, baby. You know what I mean? Um, yeah, well, Max and Jones says, how come Jamie hasn't been wearing his shoes lately? Usually, he has them all over the fucking sofa, table and carpet. What do you care? Freak? Don't call them a freak. Creak. Creepie freak. Don't call him a freak unless it's complimentary.
Starting point is 00:10:34 One of them good freaks. You know what I'm saying? Minger 921 says, I started volunteering in a charity shop a few weeks ago and I've already had three or four instances of having to perform insane lock-ins in front of customers because that beep-beat baby song came on the radio. Thanks, Jarr.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Nice. Well, this one's going to piss you off. There were a few people that came out of the woodwork to defend me on this. I was talking about my favorite games. And a certain Batman opinion came in. Oh, for fuck, city. Scudley says,
Starting point is 00:11:03 I'm with Alex on the Arkham Asylum versus Arkham City debate. Arkham Asylum had a much more memorable setting and premise. Plus, the sound design was amazing. I can still hear the little jingle that plays before the Joker spouts some nonsense. Everyone talks about the fucking jingle. Play the whole ass game, dumbass. I think Arkham City was too big and fell into the track. Fuck off.
Starting point is 00:11:19 Of all the interesting points being too spread out. Also too many lame riddler puzzles, Asylum had just enough to keep it fun. No, Asylum's Ridler puzzles are fucking shit. because once you finish the game, all of the enemies despawn. So you're just running around like an empty map. It's dull as fuck. But you are right.
Starting point is 00:11:37 Arkham City does have too many Ridler trophies. I agree with that. It's got way too many. It's got like 414 or something. Yeah. I've collected all of them in both games for the record. I've collected all of them in every game multiple times.
Starting point is 00:11:51 So don't fucking come at me. Don't fucking come at me about this shit. Trust me, I've no-lifed these games. and Arkham City is the best one not by a little bit by a lot Wrong Not fucking wrong
Starting point is 00:12:05 I'm telling you As a grown ass fucking 38 year old man You need to sit down And play through these games Chronologically close together No I'm not going back into this Dissom Bord said stressful episode
Starting point is 00:12:16 I don't remember them ever beefing this hard Well that's what Arkham opinions Does the gym he gets aggressive Okay Um Capo L. Chiva says, Jara is such an adventure time coded show. It's a surprise one of the co-stars
Starting point is 00:12:32 is vehemently opposed to the idea of watching it. What's your problem, dude? What's your problem? I'm watching it, like, slowly but surely. Um, I've been spending my time playing Arkham City since the best in the trilogy. Um, oh yes,
Starting point is 00:12:56 bloody hell, I forgot about this one. Oh, dear, oh chap. Sorry, I've been playing James Bond, so I'm all very Britishly. Delugry says, Bear Bear, sorry for the long comment, not to be pedantic, a pedantic wet towel, but the horrors you created don't seem like cosmic horrors to me. This is when we were talking about jar memes
Starting point is 00:13:15 that should be cosmic horrors. My understanding of cosmic horror is that it's supposed to be world-shatteringly horrifying, that its mere existence is so impossible to what we know that it destroys your entire perception of reality. Pretty fun segment either way, although I thought of two things Alex has said on the cast that could work. The first is the classic quote of, what if the middle ball core turned around and actually had a face and it said,
Starting point is 00:13:40 finally, you're mine. That's pretty existential horror. Yeah. And the second one. This is, you're wrong, though. Me? What you mean, the commenter? The commenter.
Starting point is 00:13:52 No, I think they're correct. Well, I've listened to the entirety of Call of Cthulhu audio. Oh, that's why you're so much more racist than it used to be. The second one... It is incredibly... I said on the cast before, but Call of Cthulhu is ridiculously racist. It's incredible. The second one I will not give context, and you, dear reader,
Starting point is 00:14:11 will have to find the context yourself in episode 11. Quote, so corn in poo, very suspicious. I'm feeling corn might actually be something alien. Forget about xenomorse. Forget about aliens in movies. It's corn that you have to worry about. Because I think it's up to something. What if it's...
Starting point is 00:14:27 corn's plan. It goes through your entire digestive system and then from that it can mimic you. And each person is gradually a piece of corn. Jim, what is your subject? I guess that's something I said once. My subject was the James Cock thing. So that's my answer. That's my existential horror. Yeah. Big dreaming cucks baby, sog. You're suck you dude. Oh shit man. Uh, yeah, Sid Wafia says, just catching up for the first time in a while,
Starting point is 00:15:03 I like how genuinely radical Jim has become. Good on you, mate. What do you mean? Why is it radical to give a shit about people? That's my question. Huh? It's radical to be like against America bombing a school of 150 children. Like,
Starting point is 00:15:22 well, if you see it from this side. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but what you don't realize, is that they're like Arabs. What you don't understand is that they were undercover agents. And on a kind of similar note, Timu, Trent Shroger's said, Alex Long rant incoming, but bear bear with me. This is in relation, I guess, to the weird ID thing they're doing for the internet and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:15:50 They're doing this because universally, the more liberal capitalist parties on the right slash center rights, such as Labor, UK, and Labor Australia. are the Democrats, are trying to balance implementing the broader class agenda while also remaining politically adherent to the status quo. Because of their own class interests, they can only offer working people empty phrasing, we aren't as bad as them, or at best offer small limited concessions in place of change. They'll keep doing this even if this loses them elections. Labor, Australia, came in on a huge wave of hope-driven populism last election, promising social benefit reforms in reality or minor form of social democracy.
Starting point is 00:16:27 Since that time, they've continued funding genocide overseas and pushed through digital ID all the while refusing to hurt their donors by addressing the one easy populist issue that unites the political working class currently, implementation of attacks on gas companies. Because of this, it's possible that Australia gets a very right-wing party in power next election, and a similar trend follows suit in all of these countries again. These parties cannot meet the material needs of their citizens, and yet they still feign surprise when a populist far-right party capitalizes on this growing discontent. that they've enabled and sweeps up. This is partially what the left means when they connect to the decay of liberal democracy with fascism. Sure? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yeah, thank you for using words that I don't know. Like the. Yeah, and the and. And I thought this was interesting from N-Zero. I think the America and UK relationship is like a negative feedback loop now. Americans say things may be bad,
Starting point is 00:17:30 but at least we're not the UK and then the people in the UK say them the same thing about America meanwhile both continue to get worse all the time the last part's true but America is worse than here yeah I think that's fair to say just from like a power standpoint as well yeah yeah on the global stage like um yeah we have no power it's it the thing is what what some the way it's always been explained to us is like we're the good guys on the world stage like with America you know that there are the superpowers like Russia, China, America, and like we're on the side of America, who are the good guys? Whereas it's actually like, there are three evil Star Wars empires. And, yeah, more than three, weren't that?
Starting point is 00:18:15 Sorry, I missed the last, this beer is really strong. It is, it's crazy, actually. It tastes like, um, it tastes like, um, it tastes like golden syrup, but it's like 40%. Yeah. Um, sorry if I sound even dumber than normal. Yeah, yeah, me too, me too. Sorry, what are you saying? Yeah, there are the three empires, and they're all shit.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Like, it's, it's almost, it's almost like, um, like absolute power corrupts absolutely or something. Why are you only saying that, haven't there, they've been way more than three empires? No, I mean currently. Oh, currently. Three superpowers. Right, right, right, right. And that, yeah, that is. And it's always been like, oh, Russia, Russia, China.
Starting point is 00:19:00 It's like, well, Russia, China, America, they're all fucking terrifying. You know, like nothing, nothing should control the world like that. Believe it or not. I hear you, dog. Yeah. And I guess, uh, I got to address this in some way because it's kind of crazy. Nohow said, Alex, I've read in your IHET TV comment section that Keir is paying you off. If so, can you pass on the number to highest tier member patrons, thanks.
Starting point is 00:19:29 So yeah, as I recall, this yesterday I uploaded this um this review of this film called citizen vigilante uveh bowl's latest film oh that rings a bad with army hammer playing the main character nice he plays an illegal American immigrant who travels to Europe and just starts being the punisher and starts killing people and it's become this weird like cultural movie that sounds crazy it is like it's it's a rage bait film um but is it raging who's it baiting it baiting it baited me but like line and sinker but what are you um well i was more interested from like what
Starting point is 00:20:14 zuva bowl's latest movie look like also like the like the peter five nine fucking uh uh Kevin Spacey like oh he's in a movie that's weird just like army hammer being yeah yeah that was kind of my angle was coming at but then i didn't realize it was um it's all about like Europe immigration. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he just goes around, like, murdering immigrants. Who's Uvee Bowl?
Starting point is 00:20:36 What else has he done? Like, House of the Dead movie. He's like crazy German. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. You know. Right. Was it perfect dark?
Starting point is 00:20:44 And, you know, shit like that. I don't know, but it was originally called the Dark Night. The title was literally the Dark Night. And obviously W.B. was like, uh, well, you can't do that. Uh, no. And I just thought, maybe like five or six minutes.
Starting point is 00:20:58 into a maybe 10, 11 minute video. I was getting so kind of, like, frustrated with, it keeps like cutting to, like, the news and it's like, oh, material conditions with migrants getting worse, it means it's worse. But it was all, like, shit to do with that. Yeah. To immigration. And I was just, I put up, like, a bunch of peer-reviewed research about immigration. Right.
Starting point is 00:21:22 And it's one of the most insane comment sections. Maybe I've ever had on a video before. saying that like I'm pro like grooming gangs and that I'm happy about that because like the movie literally ends with like this film is dedicated to all the victims of crime from that kind of thing but my angle was more like he's being an opportunist
Starting point is 00:21:48 like fucking asshole making this film like making money and capitalizing on this issue you know and like he's being a fucking troll. Like he's being an asshole. So me having a problem with that, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:06 No, I mean, like the title of my video, you can go watch it. It's on HGTV. It's already been copyright claimed, but, um, nice. My title was like, Uve-Bole and Army Hammer's new movie is evil. parentheses, it's been banned or something, because it was banned in Germany. Like, they weren't actually release it in Germany. Good. Good.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Um, but it's particularly, it seems by, like, Americans has been like maybe with army hammer being but I just don't fucking he's he's a fucking the allegations towards him yeah I don't actually know because he like started a podcast and then yeah yeah he's been like on Pierce Morgan just like Kevin Spacey I mean you can look up the allegations they're very easy to find but it's just like the I guess the lack of nuance to anything where it's like I'm against this movie existing I think it's fucked up the messages it's spreading. Wait, that means you are pro, then...
Starting point is 00:23:03 Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's the same with that, um, what's that fuck film, um, about the, the guy who like... Oh, with, um, Damien... Jesus. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Shazelle, whatever it's called.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Yeah, it's, it's this like hyper sensationalized version of, um... And another awfully made, like, piece of shit film. Like, it sucks that film. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but then they, they're just like, oh um this goes out to all victims and then everyone's like oh yeah oh so good i said damien shazel that's the director of whiplash that is not who i meant
Starting point is 00:23:38 he's awesome um he's a great director isn't it sound of freedom yeah no no yeah sorry yeah that that jesus is jim kivisel um jimmy kibble yeah but there's like similarities with that and it yeah these weird like cultural movies um yeah it's like it's like an unprecedented piece of shit film but like he's just cashing in on like it's just like such an easy way to make money now like i mean like i say now like it has been for a while obviously um yeah just get like a cancelled actor and it's just so insane bro and yes kea has been paying me to have those opinions why would kea be paying you though Because like he's he's just as far right.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Some of the comments are just like, I'm so disappointed in you for this. But the thing is, if you were pro it, you'd have the same. It's all these bots. There's no actual fucking comments. And a lot of like, Rupert Lowe fans, I think. Who's Rupert Lowe?
Starting point is 00:24:48 He's the return guy. He's the splinter. Every time you say his name and I, like, I know who he is, but every time. I'm like, who's that? Yeah. Which is the new Nigel. Yeah, props to me for...
Starting point is 00:25:01 He's the new nige. Yeah, the new nige. That's a good name for a film. The new nige. So, yeah. So that's cool. Let's talk about something nicer then. Like immigration.
Starting point is 00:25:17 Oh my God. No. Can we not... I was about to say, can we not talk about it this week, but I already have, so... Yeah, have we just did. Um, we went to London on the weekend and we saw guerrillas. At first I will actually mention something, um, negative. I fucking hate, I hate London, bro.
Starting point is 00:25:36 I hate going there. I've been saying this for so long. It sucks. I've been saying this for so long. God, it's the worst fucking place. And yeah, okay. Not because of the amount of immigrants. Well, that's kind of where I'm going to like take a hard turn now because I'm like,
Starting point is 00:25:51 well, there's a lot of money to be made. No, um, I did get. scammed on the streets. You did. Let me give some context first. I was ill last cast and that was like right before. That must have been the day before. Yeah, that was the day before we went.
Starting point is 00:26:08 So it was like the tail end of a cold and I was like, maybe this isn't a cold? Maybe this is like hay fever? Yeah, so you thought you'd pop like nine perks to get out. So I took like a really strong antihistamine in the morning. And then on the journey on the train, drank like a bunch of tinnies. Yeah, yeah. You were pounding them actually. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:27 I had like one and you were like, on nine perks as well. It was insane. I was like a zombie, right? Yeah. And so we got to Victoria Station. You went off to meet someone to bring back. So I was by myself. And I went outside just to get some fresh air.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Yeah. And I went over to this like wall and was just kind of sat there continuing to drink one of my tinnies. And these, there were these homeless people there. and there was a conversation just began that was so alluring to me I was like I got to like get closer and listen to this because it was like this guy came over with this giant backpack on to this guy like lying on the floor and was like where's my money oh fuck where is my money oh shit that reminds me I've got my own London story to tell you um yeah yeah what go on I was like shit shit where's this going I was like eavesdropping on it like I'm fucking James Bond like trying to get some yeah yeah and it was just like escalating and escalating um It was like, hey, I'm going to get it to you, man. I was like, no, where's my fucking money? It was like crazy. Holy fuck.
Starting point is 00:27:30 And eventually I just kind of, um, there were all these dudes standing around with like clipboards and it looked like they were from a charity. Um, and I guess one of them just ID'd me as someone who's easily scammable. As a actual sucker. And he came over and starts talking to me. And I'm talking to him for like a long time. Maybe 15 minutes or something. Wow.
Starting point is 00:27:52 That's a conversation. Yeah. I was like, we're talking about all. all sorts. Yeah. We're talking about like the car I drive and yeah, my thoughts on citizen vigilante. Stuff like that. We're talking about like YouTube because I normally I lie when people ask like what I do.
Starting point is 00:28:09 But this one time I was like being truthful. Because you're perked out. Because I was fucking wasted. And eventually it gets to. Did you say I'm a YouTuber? First I said I'm a video editor. Yeah. And it's like, oh, like what do you video edit on or whatever?
Starting point is 00:28:24 I was like YouTube He was like oh What kind of YouTube is do you edit for And I was like Myself So I kind of trapped myself Yeah You could have lied
Starting point is 00:28:35 You could have said like KSI or something Yeah The side men Yeah But eventually it kind of turned into Yeah So I'm raising money
Starting point is 00:28:45 For this charity That's against like youth knife crime And we like support like Youth We supply the knife Yeah And he was like Yo, can you give me some money for this?
Starting point is 00:29:01 Yeah And I was like, fine Take it all Because first he was like Yo, can you give me 500 pounds? Jesus And I was like no Because he saw me drinking
Starting point is 00:29:11 And he was like, yo, you're drunk enough To give me 500 pounds And I was like, I'm nowhere near drunk enough To give you 500 pounds And then yeah So I give him like 20 pounds through like, because he opened this like app thing and it was like, yeah, this is like
Starting point is 00:29:26 what all the charities made today and he was like scrolling through it like all these transactions someone had given them a thousand pounds that day. What the fuck? Like there was like countless. Keep an eye on the account by the way. Oh no, it's fine. Like the card I use it through and everything. It's like
Starting point is 00:29:42 that's not the issue. Because after the fact I was like oh is it can I just like go on a website and do this in my own time? And I was like, nah like I've got to do it like for my, I won't see any of it unless like you go through my QR code or whatever. Uh-huh. So I gave him like 20 quid through his thing.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Yeah. And then I look it up later and it's just like loads of Reddit threads of like, don't give money to these guys. They're like a pyramid scheme. Yeah. Oh shit. Yeah. Like it's like it's like some assholes.
Starting point is 00:30:17 A small group of people that have like a limited company basically. And they have these. dudes that don't even get like a fair share of the money yeah yeah but like it's like a pyramid it all goes up if you like make enough money like then maybe you get like a certain amount but like basically they get pittance compared to whoever it has the scheme going i don't even know how it's legal honestly because it was like right outside like one of the biggest train station victoria right yeah victoria um maybe if i wasn't like wasted it wouldn't have like worked on me but um you're feeling charitable
Starting point is 00:30:52 I was feeling charitable. Yeah, that's fucked. So that was cool. We had a nice little couple of drinks at Spoons, though, in, in Victoria. Then, yeah, I drank some more in Spoons. Yeah. And then we had a miserable fucking journey to Tottenham. Tottenham Stadium.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Tottenham Hot Spurs Stadium. Because this was, what, the third time seeing Gorillas? Yeah, yeah. The first being humans. Do you know what the... Yeah. Humans, then Song Machine. annoying thing is I think we had the best
Starting point is 00:31:24 seats for humans probably yeah and because no one wanted to see it and um for I have to say like we can quickly brush over the gorilla stuff because we're like we've talked about them a billion
Starting point is 00:31:39 but um this was the best set that they've like that we've seen yeah I had her I had two things because like we got in and our seats were just in like a really strange place. Really strange. I can't, I'm, I'm kind of
Starting point is 00:31:58 surprised that they even let seats be that like far round. Yeah. How little we could see. So we're literally like, we couldn't see anything. Yeah. And I mean, it's, it's on me. I bought the tickets. It's not though, because when you're, when you're buying the ticket, it shows with the stages and it Yeah, yeah, yeah. And in theory, those seats would be prime seats if the stage design was actually like, yeah, the way it was that they had either side of it, it was like huge screens showing like music videos and stuff like that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Whereas the whole appeal of like seeing them live, especially for this album was the instrumentation and like how many musicians were there so you can't fucking see any of it. Yeah. Obviously, like, if you're not in the seats we were, this wouldn't be an issue. But it was a shame because it like, it took a little bit for me to. get into it because of that. Yeah. No, I've got to say though on the there were moments that were like really cool and we got an awesome photo. I'll send it to you now because maybe you can put it in. Yeah, I'll put it in put it in the video. I've just sent it to you. It's a really fucking cool
Starting point is 00:33:06 photo and it's like maybe maybe that is very cool. Yeah. And it's like we definitely did have some good moments. Moments. Yeah, when they play moments. Clark's on the wall. Got that watch. But I guess I'll say, yeah, Liv Kath says, I was also at Gorillers. It was amazing.
Starting point is 00:33:26 I hope you boys have fun. Matt Very Cool said, well, bloody, can't wait to rank this episode. I was at Gorillers this weekend too. Hope you Mingers enjoyed the show. And James Rossell said, please talk about the guerrillas show because that was one of the best, if not the best live show I've ever seen. So many guests, Pop Khan, Moss Def, Bashie and Kano were my favorites. And yeah, like it was.
Starting point is 00:33:47 like a crazy set. So good. I've never seen like live music at a stadium before. No, this was my first stadium as like. Because like that's one thing is as as good as the set list was like the actual sound quality was way worse than the previous ones I think. Partially just because of the stadium thing. And I'll stop ragging on the seat in a second.
Starting point is 00:34:08 But the one thing that did bug me is that because it was a stadium, they obviously had huge screens on the other side, which if those were on showing the band playing. Right, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, but they didn't. They were doing other things with like the stadium design where they have like lines of like, uh, like small videos and shit like playing, which was kind of cool, a cool detail. Um, it'll be cool if you're like right in the center. Yeah, if you're like standing in the middle, like that would have been fucking amazing. Um, yeah. So I, yeah, I'm hoping, um, I can see them again, to be honest. I, and I'm hoping. And I'm hoping. And I'm hoping. they don't do a stadium next time.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Yeah, because you know what made it double bad was that Harry Stiles was at Wembley? On that day, so it was why there were hundreds of thousands of people just funneling through trying to get to these fucking stadiums. Yeah, it was horrendous. But it was amazing.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Set 30 songs they played. It was like quite long. Yeah, and the encore was like kind of just the whole time again. It was like, it was awesome. Yeah. Because it was so fucking good.
Starting point is 00:35:18 The exact moment it started turning around for me was 10 songs in, because I've got the set list up here. Right. Was when Empire Ants plays. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And they actually had the little dragon woman come out. For me, it was, um, rhinestone eyes. Oh, so that was, that was song six.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Yeah, yeah. And Empire Ants was song 10. Because Damon walked like over to our side of the stage and he was like right there. and there was a moment where he was like singing and he he like he gets like overstimmed and he he started like like wild in yeah like it was that that pulled me into the show and from that moment onwards I was like in it yeah because up until then I was like I was finding the setless weird so it was like yeah it was like trans it was um Saturn's bars um Saturn's bars Saturn's bars actually clapped, to be fair
Starting point is 00:36:14 It's fine, I was just getting scared where it's like, Are they gonna do the mountain? Like, I'm kind of, yeah, I really want to see songs from the mountain. That's like why it was mainly... I think it was like a tease. Yeah, when you see the whole thing, like, yeah, it like the distribution's actually fine. Because like, honestly, bro,
Starting point is 00:36:32 when I was getting to the end of the first set list before the encore, the last two songs actually made me cry. Really? Which I haven't happened to be like live music like that before. Yeah. What were the last two? It was the shadowy light and the sad god.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Yeah. Because for the shadowy light, they brought out like the granddaughter. Yeah, that was beautiful. The granddaughter of the singer from that song who died semi recently and she was like covering it. Yeah. With everybody. Yeah. She sounded fantastic.
Starting point is 00:37:01 And like the overall structure of the show was clearly trying to highlight a lot of features showing off like the overall diversity of like. Yeah. the co-labs like there was so many different cool like people from all over the world you know they're like the the the Syrian national orchestra that was fucking cool they came out and played white flag yeah and I joked before we went there
Starting point is 00:37:25 and I was like do you think they're gonna play white flag and it rocked they brought out a white flag and like passed it through the audience and then I don't know that that song is meant to be played live because we've heard it live twice now and way better yeah yeah you get the effect, there's something awkward about the, um, the, the, like, chemistry between the rappers on the recorded version of the album. Right. But in person, it's like, like, oh, that's what they're
Starting point is 00:37:52 doing. It's like, Garish Palace is way bit alive too and Little Sims. Yeah, I, I like that song. I like it, too, it's like definitely, like. She rocks. She's got so much energy, like, uh, yeah, yeah, she's a very talented person. Yeah. Um, Booty Brown coming out with Dirty Harry and. Yeah. man. Omar Soleiman for Damascus. That was cool. That was an awesome moment. That's the moment I stood up, I think. Really? Yeah, yeah. I was like, I'm bugging this. Um, bugging this. But yeah, there was just, like, when it got to Orange County and... Yeah, fuck. That was like my moment.
Starting point is 00:38:29 The, yeah, the, I don't know, there's just something about those lyrics and seeing the visuals of everything. But also the audience reaction to that song and knowing the context of why Damon, like, Like what it's about. And just how much it resonated with everyone. It was like a religious moment, you know. But with, yeah, it's very like Kumbaya, like, especially at the very end when he brought out every single, like, person that had performed. It was like, whoa.
Starting point is 00:38:57 And Jamie Hewlett. Yeah, and Jamie Hewlett, which he hasn't done another time that we've seen him anyway. And I wasn't expecting them to do the manifesto either, so that was really. That was a hype as fuck moment. because, yeah, that's like, it's like the most impressive song on the album, you know? Yeah, so it's kind of wound up, like, we missed when Plastic Beach was touring,
Starting point is 00:39:20 but I've wound up seeing most of the songs I love from it. And what I didn't realize, like the bass player on tour was the bass player from the fucking clash. Really? Yeah. What the fuck? Yeah, he was the bass player on the Plastic Beach tour as well. Like, um...
Starting point is 00:39:35 That's awesome. Yeah, yeah. And Johnny Mar was there, obviously. Yeah, yeah. That's sick. So we've seen some like crazy artists from like... Yeah. From around the world and from like British.
Starting point is 00:39:47 Like the Hall of Fame of British artists. But I guess, yeah, when in Orange County with the lyrics obviously being this like black woman saying, I'm not your enemy. Like again and again was like, God damn it, man. This is like this is healing right now. And like it, I mean, it was a full stadium. And it was so interesting like reading the different. reactions to like certain songs. I was noticing whenever a human song came up,
Starting point is 00:40:13 like it just wasn't the same. Really? Yeah. Saturn's bars, I don't know, kind of got people getting. People liked that song. But sure. What other humans? Andromeda as well.
Starting point is 00:40:24 People love Andromeda. There's actually a breakdown here. It was 10 songs from the mountains, seven plastic beach, four demon days, three from self-titled, three from humans, two from songs,
Starting point is 00:40:33 you know, one from now now. Right. Yeah. they did do desolate and yeah we've heard that twice now right um yeah what an incredible song yeah every now and again i forget about desolay and it's like uh-huh and then i hear it again it's just the special one yeah man they cooked and it was in the sad god mm i think that maybe sounded the best to me obviously black thought being there was cool um he's fantastic but whoever's on it's not a flute is it whatever the you know when it comes in towards the end oh yeah incorporates the opening song
Starting point is 00:41:15 is a type of flute right yeah I don't know probably some would win thing that was that hit hard for me yeah and also I guess last thing I'll shout out unless you've got anything the way they hyped up field good ink was like crazy yeah that was awesome that was so fucking And Clint Eastwood, obviously, yeah. They kind of always end on Clint Eastwood, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, like, that was particularly cool. It's like ending where it began.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Getting the whole stadium to, like, sing, like, lyrics that were nothing to do with feel good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because I didn't know what was coming. Yeah. And, yeah, that was so fucking cool. Yeah, that was awesome. Yeah, I can't think of any other highlights. I think you touched them all. I didn't even catch that Moss Def was there because I, like, couldn't see.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Oh, man. Yeah, stylo. there was a real um i'm blanking his name uh he's he's in he's damon covered cloud of unknowing bobby weymack that yes of course that was fucking beautiful they did like every bobby weimack song i think that they co-labbed on it's only two right was there more of them am i blanking stilo and cloud of unknowing
Starting point is 00:42:32 and um he's on uh he's on the mountain Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I meant. So that felt like, that's a really nice, like, thoughtful. Yeah, and Damon said, like, this next song's for you, Bobby. Yeah, and that's brave to cover Bobby Wormack, too. Yeah, yeah. So, yeah, I think, like, it took a little bit for me, but it did win me over for sure.
Starting point is 00:42:58 The energy was just too infectious. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I settled into it pretty quick, to be honest. like I say by probably before song six like once my the nostalgia started tickling my brain I was like I'm in um yeah no I had a fantastic time but then um on the way back I was like okay I don't want to stay in London um yeah what happened with that because you just kind of like disappeared to try and try and get catch the last train because we'd um like booked a place to keep my backpack because I wanted to keep my backpack um
Starting point is 00:43:36 so that I could just get to Paddington and then get the train home. You can't take into a stadium. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we ran off to get the backpack and then met up. And we're trying to like book an Uber. But because... Impossible. Coverage, it was the 4G.
Starting point is 00:43:56 4G coverage in London is fucking shit. It would also be there because of the density of the amount of people. It can break 4G sometimes. Really? There's that many people trying to use it. But anyway, in London. London 4G is shit. It's worse in London than in
Starting point is 00:44:10 like the countryside. It's really fucking annoying. So yeah, we couldn't get back to Paddington and it was just like fuck it, okay, let's just like chill. Oh, you should have said because we found like a bar nearby because we were like, let's just wait for the horde.
Starting point is 00:44:26 And in the bar they were just playing guerrilla's music and it was just loads of girls fans. No, we heard that very one. But we didn't. We just like kept walking. um and like kind of trying to convince ourselves if we just get somewhere like we'll be able to make it but we couldn't um so we ended up just like pattering about um and once once it was like yeah the ship has sailed then it was like we could settle down yeah um i'm glad you didn't get an uber because
Starting point is 00:44:57 that would have been super expensive and you wouldn't have made it yeah yeah yeah yeah well that that was a thing because we were looking at an uber and like by the time we could book an uber it was like oh 80 pounds to maybe then get a 45 pound train home um and so fuck that uh but yeah so it we we end up um getting on a bus for fucking ages um and then we jump on a train but then the train doesn't start going because somebody pulls the emergency thing and who's pulled the emergency thing this this homeless guy okay um who's on our carriage and he he like shouts out to everyone everyone. Hey, I've got, um, I've got this like 30 Jamaican dollars. Um, can someone please give me 10 pound for these Jamaican dollars? Cause I've got nowhere to stay tonight and stuff.
Starting point is 00:45:48 And like, I, I, like, feel guilty all the time. Every time I see a homeless person in, um, in London and like, it, it's like soul crushing. Like, I know it's nothing you can really do. Yeah, yeah. Um, but then this guy, um, it's, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's, starts like having a breakdown because everyone's obviously just ignoring him and just like looking at the floor including including us and he's like he's he's he's like emotionally shouting like why why are none of you listening to me like and i was thinking like to be that guy on that train can you imagine to to to be like actively and ignored by tens of people but there's one guy one Irish guy behind us
Starting point is 00:46:34 who's not ignoring him and he's shouting stuff back at him like at what time? Aggressive And he's At first the Irish guy's like I used to live in Jamaica What?
Starting point is 00:46:48 Yeah It's like It's like okay I don't know where you'd And then but then the homeless guy's like I'm not getting off this fucking train until one of you gives me some fucking money
Starting point is 00:47:00 And he's like like building up and my heart starts going because I'm like oh is someone am I going to like see someone get killed tonight right is it going to be bull or something yeah yeah or worse like what if he is a knife or something and like some crazy fucking shit happens
Starting point is 00:47:16 and surely it was packed as well yeah it was packed and the the train workers are just like come on man they're just giving that energy they're like I'm not paid enough to get stabbed. Yeah, yeah. And they're like,
Starting point is 00:47:34 one woman, like, gets on the train who's wearing, like, the hive. She works there. And she's like, why are you ruining this for everyone? Why are you ruining this train for everyone? Just get off, dude. And then the Irish guy's like, get off the fucking train or I'm going to throw you off the train. And then, and then the homeless guy is like, if you fucking come near me, I'm going to fucking do you in, son. And then it's like building and building. And then, Then the homeless guy is just like, nah, fuck all of you. And then he jumps off the train and then it just like walks off.
Starting point is 00:48:08 And then we set off. And at this point, it's like nearly two in the fucking morning and we're exhausted. But yeah, it just added to like, man, I hate this fucking city. Look at what you do to people. Look at what the city does to people. It's fucked. And the heat as well. Everyone's like, all right.
Starting point is 00:48:25 Yeah, in the heat. And it's like, we all know this. This guy almost definitely is, um, He's looking for money to score. Yeah, yeah. But it doesn't make it any less sad to me. No. And there was a point where I was like,
Starting point is 00:48:41 should I just give him money? I don't think I even had any cash, but like... It's just like... What's the right fucking thing to do? Yeah, it's fucked. Yeah. And it's fucking sad.
Starting point is 00:48:57 And like, every time I see a homeless person there, man, it's just like... What we doing here, Baba? Yeah. Knowing the disdain a lot of people feel for them as well. They don't need disdain, they need help. Well, on that cheery note, I guess we'll see off these minutes. Brankers on PS5, out now.
Starting point is 00:49:24 PlayStation. This is wild. There's on de hur. Not him wankers on my Xbox. Which one is Bart's real scream? Bear it's salad. I guess welcome to the second half of the cast. We head over to the suggestion thread over on the subreddit
Starting point is 00:49:46 and pluck some from the Jail Media Group chat to round this bad boy down. We can start with this one from King Pink, who says Bear Bear Bear Jar. I come to you with a tale of how I gained one of the most coveted jar items. A dick the head garden orient. Orient. I think you meant ornament. My story starts at summer solstice. One of my friends invited me around to celebrate the longest day of the year,
Starting point is 00:50:10 and then to go to the beach. When I arrived, they offhandedly mentioned something about their gardening. As they were in the kitchen, getting stuff ready, thinking nothing off it, I wandered into their garden to take a look at their new plants. Now I've been to their house many times, looked out into the small garden, but never really properly looked at it. I took a step outside, and as I was appreciating the heat of the year's longest day, I turned around to see none other than Dick the head himself.
Starting point is 00:50:35 sitting on a table next to an ashtray. I was in shock, so shocked I don't even remember what I was thinking until one thought remained. That's really him. Needless to say, my jaw was on the floor. He had to somehow become mine. It's difficult to express to a non-jarling just how important dick the head is without looking completely insane. But what would the average slider do in my situation? This might be my only chance to be a dick owner. The best I could say was that their only garden ornament was on the set of a podcast that I really liked. And I really, I really, I really, I and I literally have a t-shirt of it. Turns out the dick wasn't owned by my friend, but rather their roommate who was, who we were seeing later at the beach. I only sorta knew this person, but I at least had to ask them. They initially seemed confused.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Then they explained to me that they got it from one of their exes, and they didn't wanna part with it. So I had another proposition. How about cloning a perfect copy? If I can't get this dick the natural way, a perfect genetic copy is the next best thing, plus a mold will surely come in handy
Starting point is 00:51:34 multiple clones. Oh fuck. They seemed interested in the project idea. The next day I walked all the way to hobbycraft under the sweltering summer sun and bought the equipment needed for the cloning process. A few days later I went back to their house with the tills needed and wore my dick the head shirt for the occasion. Inevitably the awkward question arose of what's the name of the podcast? To which I replied honestly for the owner of the dick to search it up on youtube and not understand a word of it. They also said I looked like Alex because quote all trans men looked the same to me. So we began the process of cloning Dick. We took him out of the garden, gave him a wash, and put him into a pan and poured the mold-making solution over him, which quickly dried into a
Starting point is 00:52:15 spudgy, wet, slug-like, very thick and firm rubber. After about 10 minutes, we flipped the mold upside down, slid dick out, and poured in a mix of plaster of Paris into the mold where he wants to whirled, then left him for about an hour. Wearing the dick their shirt turned out to be a grave error on my port. Yeah, what the fuck you thinking? Because my friend has quite a few roommates and multiple times one of them would come to the kitchen and see the alchemy I was performing and ask what I was doing.
Starting point is 00:52:41 I'd tell them I was making a mould of their garden ornament, only for them to look down and see that I was wearing a fucking t-shirt with the exact same thing on it, which made me look like a complete free. Imagine for a second out of nowhere, someone you don't know, but have seen before
Starting point is 00:52:57 enters your home and makes a perfect copy of a random garden ornament from your yard, while wearing a of said garden ornament. The only garden ornament they had, might I reiterate. Also keep in mind that I'll inevitably be seeing all of these people at parties for years to come.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Anyway, after Dick had settled, we flipped the mould upside down and a new dick was freshly born, into the world in extremely vaginal birth-like fashion. Later at home, I painted on the eyes, sanded him down a little, and I'm proud to have finally reached the peak of being a jarling as an official Dick the head owner.
Starting point is 00:53:29 The question remains, what to do with the mould? What dick shall I make next. I was thinking crystal and jelly dicks. Yeah, you got to do jelly dick. Yeah, jelly. Chocolate. You can do so much with that. Chocolate, dude. Yeah. Jolie dick.
Starting point is 00:53:44 That's crazy. Like, I just... That's an amazing story. That's an amazing story. It's beautiful. But some of the decisions were questionable. I've valued those. I mean, they're solid fucking decisions. Wearing the shirt is definitely a move. Yeah. That's respect, though. I respect.
Starting point is 00:54:02 Yeah, I don't think I would Even if I was wasted Like tell the truth Like to anything like I Really? Like any podcast or anything like that It's just I feel like it's just not what it is for You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:54:16 What do you mean? Like you think it's supposed to be guarded No not guard Well kind of actually Like a secret society It's not like oh have you seen Toy Story 5 Yeah You know it's not like that is it
Starting point is 00:54:26 I feel like it's something you like find with And connect with organically It's not I don't think it works that way You know Are you just being a hipster? Yeah. We're sort of only known by, you know, those who sort of you know.
Starting point is 00:54:43 But you better get your legal defences up because... Yeah. The Dick T.M. Might fuck you. Dick T.M. might suck you. No. Dick suck. Dick sucked.
Starting point is 00:54:59 Um, ask for sin and you shall re-sleeve. So as, when you went to look... Las Vegas, did you guys do much gambling? I've never been into it. I thought I had enough vices, but I went to Blackpool, Vegas of the North, over the weekend and one big on a fruity, I think I'm hooked. Anyway, what's your opinion on it? And also Antonio Phillips said, that's actually a great question, gambling. And when you were there, did you see things that changed your perspective on the USA? To answer the last part of that question, I heard things that changed my perspective on the USA.
Starting point is 00:55:33 Every single time I've been to America. It's so much scarier. I've just been like, wow, this place is fucking kind of unhinged. You have no idea. You have no idea the safety you feel in the UK. Or just like Europe. Like I never in Europe. Yeah, in Europe.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Yeah. No, that's true. Like, I did not feel safe in America. Ever. It's always that little thing in the back of your mind. Yeah. Is someone about to snap in a minute? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:00 Is the, um, is the, um, is the, um, is the, um, is the no kind of. country for old man guy around. That's just not a thing that crosses your mind here. Ever. Yeah. Like, danger isn't everywhere. Uh-huh. Because I was thinking about that, because when we were walking around, like, doing the
Starting point is 00:56:13 rounds, going through the weird, like, tunnels that just take you through the back rooms or whatever the fuck is going. Yeah, yeah. Like, that, that argument, like, broke out. And it was, yeah, yeah. I was like, I'm just going to stand at an angle where, like. Yeah, I remember doing exactly the same. I was like, if bullets start flying, I want to be, like, I want to be around the corner.
Starting point is 00:56:31 it's crazy it's like because the arguments might be kind of high stakes too it's like where's my money there's like something on the line you know yeah the mafia because like yeah i just mentioned the the homeless people arguing in in London like i wasn't frightened by that yeah yeah whereas i was making distance yeah in las Vegas when i was hearing that shit that's the thing it like the difference because i just talked about feeling scared on the train in london um like just a second ago um And that's a very different, um, it's different to,
Starting point is 00:57:06 in America it was like, a bullet could just fly from anywhere. Right. Like, might just get fucking sniped. Yeah, I could be in like a, because there was that awful one in Vegas.
Starting point is 00:57:18 The, that, yeah, unbelievable, like a mounted machine gun in a hotel room. Yep. The fact that that's possible in your country is shameful. Um,
Starting point is 00:57:28 so that, yeah, that is my eyes, but the gambling rocked. Yeah, the gambling was like iconic. I want to go back just for the gambling. I genuinely think, yeah. The gambling and the dispensaries.
Starting point is 00:57:41 If I did live in America, like, I get why people go there, sort of. Oh my God, 100%. If you could get there for like a reasonable like price or like time. Yeah, yeah. When we, we had that one blackjack dealer in the, um, in the hotel we were staying in. Yeah. You remember him? in the virgin hotel.
Starting point is 00:58:01 Yeah, yeah. You're only allowed to go there if you're a virgin as well. Yeah, you get a discount. Yeah, but we had this like comedy shorts gamer. Like he was so funny and nonchalant. Everyone there's a fucking cartoon character. It's so straight.
Starting point is 00:58:18 Yeah, yeah, because the guy who picked us up in the taxi was like a, a dude in like a pinstripe fucking suit with a with like a fedora on. And normally a fedora is fucking cringe, but it was like a pinstripe. It fitted the suit. It fitted him. And he was like, it was like the fucking intro to like GTA 5. He's like, welcome to soon city, baby. It was and it was like the glow of the city at night. Yeah, yeah. I remember looking over at the fucking triangle, the pyramid. And it's like beaming a light into the sky. And I was like, I was fucked up. I couldn't sleep on the flight really. Because I had a wisdom tooth infection. So I was like, I was, um, I was drinking a bunch to numb the people.
Starting point is 00:59:00 pain and on antibiotics. I was specifically given by my dentist anti-biotics that I could drink on. Yeah. Because I told him I was going to Vegas and he was like, okay, I'll get you the right antibiotics then. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Yeah, so I was kind of fucked up the whole time. And so was I and I didn't have an infection. Yeah. God, what did, yeah, just a dreamy, bizarre place. Yeah, but normally I don't go for gambling. me neither but if you're in Vegas like come on and the black the sitting in the blackjack table had such even like the shitty casinos where like the yeah yeah I kind of like the shitty casino is the best yeah where you're just doing like five dollar bets yeah um and these just weird characters
Starting point is 00:59:45 will come up like a guy and just with like a crazy like fur coat with just like some woman and it's just like what the fuck is your what is the context yeah like who are you and some people were fucking assholes as well yeah they they they they clearly like have retired and they just live there and spend you all their money um and they're like having a go at you for for like doing the wrong thing and it's like fuck you i'm just gambler yeah it's like it's like a first night there too yeah yeah it's like i'm just pissing my money away i only played this in red dead god damn yeah yeah i was kind of good in red dead day to be fair yeah the only thing i would have liked to have done was find a poker table because that was too scared for that i'd watch
Starting point is 01:00:25 yeah but i didn't know what like where you could find them Because it's not like a quick game. Like Blackjack, you can sit down and do a better, like... They were around, but they had way higher, like, buy-ins and I think... Yeah, that's the thing. More of a, like, commitment type thing. Yeah. It'll be fun there.
Starting point is 01:00:43 Yeah, there is something, something danger about it. Yeah, and if I go back to Vegas, I'm definitely smoking. Uh-huh. That shit was too fire. Smoking indoors, like... Yeah, it was awesome. Like, non-stop. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:58 You just don't stop. up. No. Because it's all like air conditioned and you have no idea what time it is. And you're being pumped with oxygen anyway. So it's like, you just feel fantastic. Yeah, there's a weird, um, lucidity you feel. Uh-huh. Like you're, you'll be fucked up, drunk as fuck. Yeah. But also like really wired. It's fucking weird, man. Like, how does that leave? It's because you need to be able to remember your pin number. Yeah. Yeah. Fucking unhinged that place. But one of the best trips ever. Yeah, yeah, I just wish I hadn't had that fucking affectionate. I know, that fucking sucks. I can't believe the time. I was like panicking because it wasn't until the day before that I got the emergency dentist appointment. Man, yeah, that's made it work. That's crazy bullshit, yeah. Um, wish list my FPS campaign Invictus on Steam says, first of all, before this goes any further, blocked me. Already done. On the last step, you both praised Halo, combat evolved in Halo 3 a lot, but no mention of two. I remember. I remember. Remember the super old jar video where Alex put two as one of his least favourites and put four
Starting point is 01:02:03 as the best. What a rotter. Fucking out. I thought CE has some of the worst levels in the bungee games. Three is a really boring first half when nothing important happens for the most part. Though its second half is very good. For me, two has always been the best pace with the best story and interesting levels. Introduction of arbiter, dual wielding, hijacking vehicles, etc. So where does two rank for you? And also where either of you are going to bother trying the remake since it's free with a game pass. I don't have game pass.
Starting point is 01:02:32 I don't have it either. Two stings. It doesn't stink. It doesn't stink, but it's shit. I'm not crazy about two. I'll be honest. I like a lot about it. It's got aura.
Starting point is 01:02:47 When you opening it is Yeah. It's almost the most product of its time one. Yeah. Yeah. One feels timeless and three kind of does too. Yeah. But two also, it's got,
Starting point is 01:02:58 aura, you know, like the energy sword, like weird glitching and like, I love watching speed runs. Yeah, two has the best speed runs, but some of the level design, I think some of the level design is worse than Halo 1. Yeah, out of the three, it's my least favorite campaign. Yeah, from a, from a light level design standpoint. Yeah, the story's cool. The Arbiter's story is really cool,
Starting point is 01:03:18 but the arbiter levels stink. I think, yeah, for the most part. I think, yeah, the story's very cool. It's really fucking weird and like political. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is like, awesome. That jump from the first game, it's like, yeah, it's really cool, but the level design just doesn't hold up. I like the first level. I like the level with the bridge.
Starting point is 01:03:38 I like the first level on a halo. Those shits are cool. I like the first arbiter level. The rest, though, like, I just have memories of, like, being on a gondola. Because we did the whole game on Legendary. Insane that we did that. I was thinking about that. the other day. We did it like legitimately on legendary. There are like big Halo fans that have never done
Starting point is 01:04:01 that shit like yeah. It's fucking crazy. It's stupid. Like how difficult it is. It's ridiculous. Yeah, it's it's fucked. And that's that's a huge negative against the game. Legendary should be fun. It should be fun like a fun challenge. Like every other Halo game it is a fun challenge. Halo 2 it's cooked and it's because people complain that Halo 1 was too easy on Legendary. So they were like, easy and it was also made in like nine months because they kept having to like scramble yeah yeah yeah half the game isn't in it and stuff like that
Starting point is 01:04:34 yeah so in that regard it's kind of impressive that the game is like what it is but like high charity those levels like this kind of stink man yeah ambitious though and cool yeah but I don't dislike it but it's definitely one I've played least I think
Starting point is 01:04:51 yeah me too by far Halo 1's probably the campaign I've played the most I'm going to say Hot take The library is one of the best Halo Levels of all time It's one of the best Halo levels of your time You're trying to piss me off because of the Arkham Asylum thing
Starting point is 01:05:08 I know it's Pissing me off Oh the library is the best fucking Haleigh up Yeah it's fucking annoying right No because it's not the same thing It's not the same fucking thing No um No genuinely three four three guilty spark
Starting point is 01:05:25 that's a masterpiece of a of a mission that is that as as just like a and I bet you it's gonna fucking stink in the 343 one they're gonna do a fucking shit job I might eat my words but that that yeah I remember playing that um with uh John um you know John 1-17 all right yeah and but like I was enamored by I was obsessed with that level as a kid it's like spooky and like you get lost in the best way it's not like the way you get lost on the labyrinth yeah it's the way you want to get lost in that way
Starting point is 01:06:08 um well it's like there's the just a totally out of left field like this new type of enemy when for the whole game you've been fighting this one faction that already has it's got like decent enough enemy variety up to that point anyway and then they introduce this whole new faction and then shit like Sakura vibes. Yeah, it's,
Starting point is 01:06:26 it's so fucking impressive for 2001. Like, are you kidding me? Mm-hmm. It's so fucking good. Halo 2 does nothing like that. And if anything, the introduction to the flood is kind of like,
Starting point is 01:06:40 it's like really understay it and weird. Yeah. It doesn't really hurt. Yeah, but the grave mind is cool, though. Yeah, the great mind is fucking cool in the voice and everything.
Starting point is 01:06:49 And there's weird quotes. Yeah. And it's like Shakespearean and the way it's, talks. It's so strange. I like the establishing the profits as well. Yeah, the profits are the best. Yeah. They're fire. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:01 So there's good stuff about Hello 2, but it just stinks. It's just not very good. It's just shit. Well, since we're on video game shit, Kirkified Xi Jinping says, do you think any of GTA6's inevitable satirical critiques of capitalism will hold any weight now that they've announced the price and anti-consumer code in a box release
Starting point is 01:07:19 method. I don't know what the tone of GtA 6 is going to be. I think it's going to still have the satirical element, but I think it's going to take its story waste more seriously. Yeah, I think it should as well. GTA 5 went too far. It's a safe a bet. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:42 Like, you want the story to be like, you want to be invested in this couple. Yeah. You don't want it to just be like a fucking Saints Room meme, you know, like, have the world be episode that they're like in, like, have ridiculous. elements to it like it's Florida like you don't even really like we're we live in a ridiculous world already so yeah I guess that's the biggest concern right it's like how do you satirize that yeah how do satirize yeah real and yeah it is extremely contradictory like to do the shark card thing while also like criticizing capitalism um yeah but i i
Starting point is 01:08:24 I don't care. I'm going to buy it. Yeah, that's the thing. Everyone's going to fucking buy it. Everyone's going to buy it, and it's going to be fucking awesome. Like, the screenshots are crazy. You just know soon they're going to be dropping a trailer. Yeah. And it's going to be like, shee!
Starting point is 01:08:40 Yeah. Yeah. Hopefully I'll be able to afford a PS5 by the time it comes out. Yeah. And I wouldn't have that much hope for any online things. thing I think it's gonna be like fucked as in micro transaction wise or as in like servers are gonna be fuck I mean like both GtA 5 is like is if you checked in on it like when was the last time you seen what that game is like it's like fucking the only
Starting point is 01:09:11 thing I've seen is like Los Los Poyos clips it's straight up just pay to win bullshit like yeah yeah um yeah as long as there's a good single player that's it yeah yeah yeah I jumped on um red dead online recently just out of nowhere. Did you get hacked? Do you have your card details stolen? Um, I always just got like tiny hackers where their character was like tiny. And they'd come into my lobby and just blow everything up.
Starting point is 01:09:40 Like just, just set off like a thousand T&Ts and crash your game. That's fucking lame. That's why I did the mod for the solo lobbies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe I'll do that. Because like it is fun to just like exist in that world. Yeah, but also like a missed opportunity.
Starting point is 01:10:00 Oh, majorly, majorly. Um, Harriet Broadly has a good one. An idea. A blast from the past. How about replaying the word association game you used to do? Remember that? Yeah, everyone knows that. It's like therapy thing, right?
Starting point is 01:10:15 Who wants to start the word? Uh, pay. We. Come. Halo. T. Three. four
Starting point is 01:10:23 shite does it end if you repeat a word is that over oh maybe okay you start this time Xbox one two hello
Starting point is 01:10:39 no we need something out it's two Xbox themed it's fucking pissing me up I can't say anything and you're just gonna fucking say Xbox okay one Okay, no, if I start with Xbox, Xbox.
Starting point is 01:10:55 PlayStation. Four. I just go to numbers. Four? PlayStation 4. I have a PlayStation 4, I guess. Toy Story. I have your PlayStation.
Starting point is 01:11:05 Ooh. Um, Buzz. Funny. Comedic. Awesome. Nice. Empathetic. Abuse.
Starting point is 01:11:19 Bird. Man. Inorito. What? What? Did that stop it? I guess what is my word. I can't associate with something I don't know.
Starting point is 01:11:36 What the fuck is Inority? I think I said his name wrong. Is that the director of Birdman? Yeah, I think so. Okay. Yeah. Well, I hope that was disappointing. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:50 I hope that was just the worst. Well, breakfast yogurt tub. How does Jim feel to see Alex living up blessed ethereal style while he has to put on his three-piece and go to work full-time? How does Alex feel about taking care of business Jason Statham style and figuring out priorities and time management without the institution of work? Any personal experiences slash feelings with work you'd feel comfortable with sharing for the cast? Insane question. That's crazy. That's the craziest question. Yeah. I feel like there are certain luxuries that I've occasionally been jealous of, especially on a day like this.
Starting point is 01:12:32 But also certain things that I feel like you miss out on having a less neurotypical lifestyle. Yeah, I don't want that, though, do I? You don't want a neurotypical lifestyle, or do I? I don't know. Should I? Should I want that? Should you want that? No.
Starting point is 01:12:50 Yeah, what's the question? Personal experiences. I've had loads of personal experiences. One of the things, I don't think I've ever like fully disclosed what I do for work, and I kind of like that. Yeah, just keep it in mystery. Yeah, but I, one thing I love about what I do is the amount of like people I meet. Like the The interesting characters who
Starting point is 01:13:23 And I'm I'm sure it informs my My political leanings as well I like I I get some really interesting perspectives Yeah you do Yeah because I I bring them back to you Pretty much Everything like I get from them Yeah and I just I get to have these these incredibly interesting
Starting point is 01:13:50 conversations um i'm being very extremely very vague yeah i guess in a in a weird like um antisocial way i also get to do that where like the amount of people have spoken to over the years is like insane um from all over the world and all of these like emails and exchanges of people's stories and just people i've connected with um that's one thing um um but in obviously a completely different unhinged, unrelatable way. Yeah, less grounded, I guess. It's very different interacting with someone face to face.
Starting point is 01:14:35 Yeah, definitely. I'll never deny that. Yeah. But like, how do I feel about it? I don't think I could function the way you do? I... Through what? I just... I guess being my own boss,
Starting point is 01:15:01 um, I don't think I could. Why not? Because I, I don't have that, like, discipline, I guess. Um, I'm too sleepy.
Starting point is 01:15:14 I just, like, get into bed all the time. Right. Yeah. It's quite tiring, but I'm also like a control freak. that works for me. Yeah, and
Starting point is 01:15:24 I mean, there have been phases of your life where you've not really been in like a routine at all with Yeah, yeah. Especially like post-COVID. Yeah, yeah. Trying to find some like balance.
Starting point is 01:15:38 Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure I'd struggle in the same way, but it's, yeah, it's, um, it's interesting, I think. Like the, and the things that we still agree on
Starting point is 01:15:58 and the things we like diverge on I'm sure a lot of that is grounded in our like different experiences going through life you know yeah like I often joke with people everything I've like had to learn in order to be able to do this is like against my will outside of like the pure act of like making a video
Starting point is 01:16:20 yeah yeah yeah and anything yeah you were saying that to me about yeah Anything admin style. It's just like, God. Anything wanker style. Anything wanker. Yeah, it is fucking wanker style. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:16:33 But yeah, I guess I still do it. Well, you have to. Yeah, you don't really have a choice. That's the thing. Yeah. Well, speaking of having a choice, Dibble Dobbs says Bear Bear Bear Boys, it's nearly four years since the decision to obtain that
Starting point is 01:16:48 the at Humans Born Fresh YouTube handle. Yeah. At the time, was a decision contended, sorry, contested by Pissodick, who was in favour of the handle at Yogs, citing humans born fresh as being a flavour of the week, whereas Yogs was more relevant to the channel's identity and would scoop up some lost Yogs cast views searching for Lod. For Yogs. How do you feel about this decision now?
Starting point is 01:17:14 Was it the correct one? What do you think the alternate timeline of deciding on at Yogs looks like? As a little bit of extra info, at the time, someone had already stolen the handle of Jarm Media Podcast. hence the need to pick something different game on um if we'd have picked yogs we'd be right next to mr beast right now he'd be there's no way yoggs was fucking available there's no way who gives a shit i'm i'm glad we've got humans born fresh i think that's fucking it's crazy it's actually fucking nuts and it has nothing to do like it's not even a reference to a joke that we'd made before It was just fresh.
Starting point is 01:17:55 It was totally like born fresh in that moment. Yeah, it's awesome. Yeah, I got no regret on that. Yeah, you made the right call. Yogs is more aged, I feel. You know, like when someone like, when someone references that as the Yogs, that's like, oh, you're old school then. Yeah, true.
Starting point is 01:18:12 That's fucking old shit. Yeah, real. Humans born fresh is like eternal. Yeah. It's almost like. It's not attached to anything in particular. Yeah, you're right. So yeah, check us out on humans born fresh.
Starting point is 01:18:24 every now and again it just appears as well like um like in conversation yeah i get what you're saying yeah humans born fresh yeah so fucking unhinged it's nice though like it feels um it's fitting i reckon yeah so is it literally if you put youtube dot com forward slash at humans at humans from gorillas humans born is it humans with a z fresh yeah it does just take you to the channel that's so fucking cool fuck
Starting point is 01:18:59 yeah we just have we just have 800 videos on the channel now um I'd love to like CGI like baby like we're like
Starting point is 01:19:13 just been born babies for an episode it's all like filtered but it has like really detailed sound design yeah yeah well we're like two babies and you know like those rooms where they have like the glass
Starting point is 01:19:27 yeah yeah it was just full of babies in hospitals yeah the baby room yeah the baby room and it's like two babies in the baby room just having a podcast that would be fucking cool if we had like a mad budget that's what that's the type of shit i'd be doing um we got four more aramaki says you have a button that can make one person of your choosing well speaking of being born never to have been born if you press the button a second time however, you will never have been born. In turn, also making it so that the person you initially erased comes back.
Starting point is 01:20:01 Here's the catch. Because the button erases someone from ever having existed, any memories anyone would otherwise have had of that person or the effects of their existence are also erased, including your own. This means that you would never know whether a given press of the button will be your first or your second. Do you risk pressing the button? Oh, fuck. Who would you erase? That's tricksy. Yeah, I guess if I know that, then I'm not pressing the button.
Starting point is 01:20:31 What if, like, hmm, even if you, like, wrote a note, like, do not press this button or you'll die? Is that too tempting? It's like, well, I'm going to press it then. You're telling me not to. I guess. But using that logic, then you could, like, write. No, because the way that would know, I guess... It would be like memento.
Starting point is 01:20:51 You're, like, seeing this. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, the way you're... The way you just explained, it makes more sense than what you're... I was going to say like, then couldn't you write like a book about what like Hitler did and then delete Hitler and then just read that and be like, oh, I got rid of this fucking monster. But if Hitler never existed, then you would have never written that. Whereas in your thing, if you just write, don't press the button, that you've written that regardless of who you get rid of. Unless you get rid of the person who invented English.
Starting point is 01:21:22 That could be interesting. Yeah, that's my choice. I'm getting rid of that. Who would you erase? The person who invented English? Because England colonized... I don't know if it's one person in mental language. Well, who else does it then?
Starting point is 01:21:37 Like three people. I don't know. I think a lot of people commit their lives to studying that sort of thing. It's incredibly fascinating, actually. Sometimes you say such fucking horse shit that you genuinely... Like a horse. You talk horse shit. That's fine.
Starting point is 01:21:54 There's a few. people I'd fucking erase. Who? Homelander. Yeah, like... Omni-Man! Yeah, like Joe Biden. Obama.
Starting point is 01:22:10 Yeah, a few fucking nasties I'd like to forget about. I'd probably get rid of Voldemort. Darth Vader. The Emperor. Yeah, Sidious. Yeah, because if you get rid of Sidious, then he'll never become... come Darth Vader. He'll only have the option
Starting point is 01:22:27 to be good. Yeah. Yeah, that's clever. But then Luke would be born and get a happy dad. I'd erase Warwick Davies. Why? I've had enough of him. No, that's too mean. Yeah, that's fucking able-less. Can you beat that? No, I'm fine with being
Starting point is 01:22:44 ableist. I'm fine with, like, I'm the worst. For every... Just, whatever I am, whatever you think I could possibly be the worst of, that's what I am. I don't even care of. What could you be the best of? The best of. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:57 Like, like... Tennis. Yeah, I'd kill Jockovich. You'd erase him, not kill him. No, I'd kill him. Dirtmeat Supreme says question. For what would you do if you fell over? Urgent.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Get... Get in trouble. I'd be in trouble. It's too late. You're already fucked. Press the button. Embrace it, yeah, press the button. Who gives a shit?
Starting point is 01:23:30 Uh Fennier says, I recall in an earlier episode there was a discussion on embracing boredness instead of attempting a comb over. But how do you both feel about wigs? Why is there such stigma against the male usage of wigs and toupays, when it's inversely quite common for women to use extensions and full-on wigs as opposed to their natural hair, either by choice or from issues of hair thinning themselves? Sexism? I think older men like yourselves would generally look better in wigs, provided they were of high enough quality. What the fuck? But I think society is stopping this from ever happening.
Starting point is 01:24:01 Did you just... I say that with exception for Jim, he's a beautiful baldie-mois. Did you just call us older men? Yes. What the fuck? I'm in my 20s! They're probably like 10. Yeah, I'm in my 20s, motherfucker.
Starting point is 01:24:16 Oh my god. I'm only 32. No, you're an older man. I'm an elder male. Yeah. I'm not even an elder millennial. No, you're a younger millennial. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:28 or youthful millennian Why are people anti-wig? Probably because of cartoons, always doing that joke so then just culture's like, well, that's it then. Art imitates culture and then culture imitates art. I guess some, whenever a man
Starting point is 01:24:50 does anything to alter his appearance, it's just like, gay! Yeah. It's like any sort of like grooming or um like cutting your toenails, you know, wiping your ass enough. Yeah. Gay. You actually wipe the poo from your ass.
Starting point is 01:25:10 You don't get shitty underrews. Gay. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I guess it's, um, it's more typical for men to go board as well. Much more. Yeah. so I'm trying to break it down in my head. Like, why is it so anti for man?
Starting point is 01:25:35 It's a very big. Yeah, because something that confuses me is people often refer to, um, like getting hair plugs as like gender affirming. Or like going to Turkey and getting, yeah, yeah, because like, the argument is like you're criticizing trans people for, for getting like gender affirming. support, but you're doing the same thing getting hair. But I don't really understand that because...
Starting point is 01:26:03 I do when it's like Joe Rogan getting his like insane, like, hormone replacement therapies and shit like that. No, that's ironic. Yeah, but like hair, it's like, it is a male thing to have male pattern baldness. Like, is a thing. So, yeah. I don't really see how it's gender affirming to undo that. Um, if someone could explain that, that would be brilliant. Um, sure.
Starting point is 01:26:27 I want to see Joe Rogan in like a toupee or with the turkey Yeah but he did he tried to Did he? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he said in an episode once Or in Milesport I don't fucking know there's like 8 million of them But he's like yeah I tried to get surgery to fix it But it just didn't work so I embraced it Yeah I'm not sure Because I've thought about it because as well like I've got alopecia
Starting point is 01:26:56 I'm like losing my right eyebrow And I know you can get like tattoos Yeah, yeah To like fill that in and Like Foozy Tube Well he got the hairline tattoo right And I mean that that's like A valid thing I guess
Starting point is 01:27:12 And apparently like it can look decent Sure If The thing is It can it It does feel Um Like
Starting point is 01:27:25 like if you're self-conscious about it you can't really hide it um yeah I've definitely been self-conscious about it and then you you walk into a room and you feel like whenever somebody looks at you like
Starting point is 01:27:39 you're being looked at like that you know but with anything that would be compounded if you're wearing like a fucking insane wig and you had like a I saw someone recently who's like the
Starting point is 01:27:53 the dad of someone I know. Right. Or the dad of someone who knows someone I know. And I saw them and they have like this jet black toupee.
Starting point is 01:28:09 And they're like 60. And it looked fucking awful. And yeah, if I was wearing that, I would feel that. But obviously to him, he must look in the mirror and think go get them, Tiger. it must do it for them surely and and go off like sure sure if that makes you
Starting point is 01:28:32 yeah if if if if it makes you feel like comfortable in your skin then fucking do it i like looking at that subreddit that is like due to a balding just like convincing each other to just like the one where it's like the the two bald guys with the hands of the show yeah yeah i've seen that and it's like the most supportive community yeah exactly and the glow-ups are insane. It always looks better. Always do. Don't cling on. Do not cling on. There's like a symbolic. It is. It's a visual symbol. When you take that shit off, there's there's like an an embracement and a bravery to it. Because I'll tell you what, I looked fucking way worse before I shaved my head. Like, and then seeing myself post head shave, it was like, ah. Like it, I guess you're,
Starting point is 01:29:18 yeah, maybe it's not worth claim. You're lucky you've got a nice head shape if you had like a Like Hewle. If you're like a cone-haired. Like, Hughle. Yeah. Like, that shit's crazy.
Starting point is 01:29:27 He's like a beluga whale. That's just insane. But he's funny as fuck. And like, he's British. He does. Google beluga whale. He has the exact same, like,
Starting point is 01:29:40 he has the exact same thing. I think it was that Andrew who, who first said that. Beluga whale. Yeah, and I was like, fuck, yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:50 I'm being obsessed with that. Huell guy's standard. Hule. It's also that's that drink that I used to live off for a while. Yeah, yeah. Hul Babbinue. Oh my God. Then you think there's something incredibly dystopian about Huel.
Starting point is 01:30:06 That's why I liked it. The product. I've always been on that verge of like, just make me like a robot. I just can't deal with this shit anymore. Yeah. Do you see what I mean, though? There's like the... Yeah, no.
Starting point is 01:30:20 Yeah. It's an astute observation. Yeah. Well, but hats off to. Andrew for that one I didn't come up with that. Shout out Andrew. Yeah. Man, okay.
Starting point is 01:30:32 Anything else to say on that one? Wigs? Um, I like the interview. That would be a good bit if you came in wearing like a wig and just didn't adjust it. Well, the thing is, I joke
Starting point is 01:30:46 often that like, um, I'd be too pretty with hair. It's like how it, you've been like naturally nerfed for it to be fair. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, because I, I've got kind of like a, I've got kind of a feminine face.
Starting point is 01:31:02 Yeah. Like, I got like the round, like, swollen face. Yeah, you've got... Yours is like, looks good on camera. Mine look just... Do I look good on camera? Yeah. Um, I, I, I just feel like, uh, like if, if I had the hair I did when I was like 14, right?
Starting point is 01:31:20 I'd look like a B word. A bastard? No, a bitch. I don't know, if you look at like K-pop stars, like... Yeah, yeah. No, I'd be swimming in too much pur. It was a way to... Too much put.
Starting point is 01:31:38 Too much pum-pum. That was just a fucking disgusting. No, I... Nature's nerve. But it's not necessarily a nerve because it makes... I feel somewhat more masculine. I think it's way more masculine to have a shaved head than to be clinging on with the comb over. Oh, God, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:32:01 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But also I can resonate with Agent 47. True. You know, he's like, because in everything else, the bald guy is like the butt of the joke. Seinfeld. Yeah. George. Yeah, poor George.
Starting point is 01:32:16 But he's doing, he's hanging on, though. He's not embracing it. And he's like pathetic about it. I think, um, well, he's just like, whoa is me. about everything. I love that character. But I do think on an older guy, the back of the headstrap thing,
Starting point is 01:32:33 like, it suits certain people, and I think it suits that actor. Yeah. I don't actually think he looks bad. Like, that pose of him, like, where he's got his shirt up.
Starting point is 01:32:42 Yeah. Yeah. Well, when he's got the baseball bat? Yeah. Like, he looks cool. He's also like a wide man. Yeah. Yeah, the beltmans are kind of built.
Starting point is 01:32:55 move. Yeah. Yeah. To be honest. Just kind of stocky. Especially now that I'm like fat. Maybe we're like, um, like World Warcraft dwarves or something. Oh shit. Yeah, maybe. You know, just got stretched out over time. You know, we stopped mining. Oh yeah, my dwarf and I'm digging. I hear yogs. Bring it all around, baby. Let's end on this one then from Scottish scum. Hey Jah, I've noticed something lately I didn't want to happen. That being my parents are watching AI slop on YouTube as a main source of entertainment.
Starting point is 01:33:33 My dad watches weird historical fact videos and my mum watches full-blown AI stories. I gotta watch my stories! When I asked them, they were definitely... When I asked them, they definitely knew the videos were AI, and they also didn't seem to care, which is insane for someone like my mom, who I'd often catch watching a whole lot of series of all genres and mediums, and now she only watches AI Slop. Since she was wanting low effort story-based videos,
Starting point is 01:34:00 I introduced her to things like scary Reddit videos, where someone just narrates someone most definitely bullshitting about a story. But the way I saw it, this was better than her engaging with AI videos for so long. I kid you not, it's about six hours a day she'll watch this kind of content. I know more and more older people are watching AI uncritically and not caring, but I wanted to ask if either of you had any insights as to why impolmobiles, why and possibly what to do if I should even do anything. Anyway, Bear Bear Bear or something else original.
Starting point is 01:34:30 Six hours a day has to be an exaggeration. That's fucking insane. I hope that's perfectly accurate. But who has that much time? Who is six hours a day to watch a year to stop? That's fucking insane. I can't believe that's what's winning the like culture. I was going to say culture.
Starting point is 01:34:48 That's the wrong phrase. The entertainment war. Yeah. It's like fucking fruit videos. of like humanized fruits cheating on each other and being like, I saw one the other day that was like, it was like a bunch of poo inside an asshole, and the asshole was a face going like,
Starting point is 01:35:09 I will never let you out. And then all the poos are like together in this army. And they're like, let us out. You have to let us out. And then it turns into like a revolution type thing. And there's like a giant like ripped poo that comes out. And he's like, I'm gonna open you
Starting point is 01:35:26 and then the asshole is like no I'm not joking it's real my god that's not like everyone's watching now do you want to link do you want to watch that one
Starting point is 01:35:48 no it's crazy I kept getting adverts of this like this AI slop that's like a cyberpunk future and this guy's
Starting point is 01:36:05 like, oh, plug me into the fucking Zeta program, fam. And then, um, and then he's like, oh, I'll plug you into the Zeta program. And he's like, oh, if you ever tried the Zeta program, he's like, no, it just melts your brain, son. And then he plugs him into the Zeta program. And then it's like
Starting point is 01:36:21 one of those philosophy videos with the like, it's like clips of nature and it's like the British guy. Right. Um, and then it turns into like a spaceship chase or something. And this is like sponsored, like a sponsored short
Starting point is 01:36:37 like it's sponsored by a gambling ad no I mean like the whole thing is one of the you know you get an ad when scrolling oh right I've got premium I do now but this was like months ago oh right yeah yeah um I'm sure people have seen the same thing um
Starting point is 01:36:53 it's it's fucking unbelievable uh and it's it's like bring it on I say I just I honestly I'm getting so apathetic I'm just like just fucking who cares anymore. Yeah, we're in, we are in the slop era. Like it, yeah, the war is over. They won. Yeah. Yeah. We lost, dude. Yeah, yeah. Uh-huh. We're done. It's just like, you're done. Because all it takes is a couple more generations of like being raised on that. Yeah, yeah, and it's normalized. Yeah, because like now a real trend I've been seeing,
Starting point is 01:37:29 especially on like Twitter and shit like that are movies, like, and they're often like shite films with like, like a five on IMDB or something but they have one thing about it that's like kind of interesting yeah yeah it's like the whole movie condensed into like two minutes and is it that's that AI narrator of the main character like explaining yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah uh-huh like that's that seems like that's what people are more interested in at this point like to absorb their stories but the thing is short-form content is just as bad Like, I mean, yeah, that's what it is, right? Yeah, yeah, but I mean, like, even if it's made by a real person, like,
Starting point is 01:38:12 like, I don't see any difference in, like, quality to a Mr. Beast video or an AI video. Like, they're the same, it's the same, like, means to an end. It's just, like, slop to fucking ruin your... Algorithm, like, slop, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I mean, how fucking crazy is it? Like, actually think about it. This thing comes out, um, Squid Game, that is...
Starting point is 01:38:35 it's about how rich people abuse poor people fernstein yeah and that's great idea yeah and then mr beast is like oh that that that was popular let's do that yeah and then just actually does it and it makes loads of money uh-huh this is the biggest video I think what more do you have to say it and it the thing is that that that that then becomes proof that like well what's the fucking point of even like making art with the with any sort of statement because it would just be like commercialized
Starting point is 01:39:11 commodified and beastified you just you just fucking came up with a new like term a new woke term beastified fuck uh yeah i see clips of him like yeah mine was blown this day where
Starting point is 01:39:25 I got a pizza and I tipped him 10,000 pounds and the look on his face was just he saw he faced immediately and I felt so much power over him and I just felt so big and important. Fuck you, dude. It's fucking evil shit, man.
Starting point is 01:39:41 Yeah. That's an evil, disgusting fucking bullshit. Oh, but he gives to charity. My nan gives to charity. Yeah, my fucking nan gives to charity, son. Yeah. I give to charity when it's scam knife crimes in London.
Starting point is 01:39:58 Yeah. When you're funding knife crime in London. That's what the actual charity was. Yeah, he went and bought like an amazing knife crime. A 20 pound knife Anyway Yeah, I've got diabetes I'm trying to get diabetes
Starting point is 01:40:16 I mean So many fucking gummies It's a problem I have a dependency on gummies It's the only way I can Like source serotonin What about shorts?
Starting point is 01:40:31 Well yeah, that goes hand in hand We gotta do the, you know, the nicicado avocado thing? Oh, which. But with gummies. Just eating gunge. Yeah, I said the gummy guys. New series, the gummy guys. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:47 We're gonna review every type of gummy from every country. We have to eat a whole bag each. To give it a fair review. Yeah. Working out. With insulin on the table ready. Well, thanks for watching. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:07 Fuck. Don't develop diabetes is bad for you. You lose your toes. Don't develop diabetes. Type T.
