Starting point is 00:02:31 He didn't get stuff. Brooms! Brooms! Bro! Oh, shi, Bremble! Yo, Prima, come up a video on the other time. I guess that I don't want you. That's how my .
Starting point is 00:02:45 Years to talk of New York, Tony, Yale, and y'all all make some noise for my man, Max Siegelman. Come on, ya, make some noise. And you know, Max, I did my research on you, because you're a low-key guy. Like, I know you spent zero dollars on my money. on marketing, but you have some of the biggest deals that you've seen somebody have in fashion at one time.
Starting point is 00:03:13 I mean, we're talking New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Mets, and the New York Yankees. Can you talk about that? You've got a wonderful team over here. Can you talk about that? Because a lot of people, they'd be like, oh, Max Siegelman, I don't know him. And I'm like, yo, this is the next guy. I appreciate that. This is the next guy.
Starting point is 00:03:35 And you know, because some people are, what do they say, active and proactive? Mm-hmm. Like, I'm proactive. I see that. I appreciate it. Yeah, I'm proactive. I already know where this is going. Like, I did my research.
Starting point is 00:03:47 But can you talk about them big deals? Because that's a big deal. The fashion world is a tough business. Yeah. Tell about them deals. Come on. Tough business that I didn't choose. Definitely.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Maybe it chose me, ish. Yeah, I mean, those deals is just like a handful of projects that we've been able to do over the last couple of years since. starting this. So I started it kind of by accident, I always say, in the summer of 2020 in the pandemic. And as we first started to evolve and get pieces out there, we were lucky that some big names were it from the hip-hop space to the sports space. And then over the next couple of years, we started to get a lot of inbound requests for projects. And so I think we were and we still are in a super special place that people are still reaching out to want to do projects with us.
Starting point is 00:04:35 us and obviously being a New York brand and being able to work with New York sports teams and other people, it's a huge opportunity that we try and take advantage of and use to get the word out there about our story and our brand. So when you say it didn't choose you, what do you mean by that? I mean, previous to me having Siegelman Stable as a fashion brand, I was just doing creative consulting for music artists, athletes, and direct-to-consumer brands. And then I started making hats and sweatshirts in the pandemic with my dad's racing stable logo. And it kind of just started to take a story and wind of its own.
Starting point is 00:05:15 And so at first I made it for family and friends. And then some of those music artists and athletes that I was working with or worked with previously, I'd asked me for pieces. So I made another $300 worth of stuff, sent it out to them. They ended up wearing it, either posted it on Instagram, or it in a music video, or in a tunnel walk. and that's where it started to pick up the pace, decided to launch a Shopify, but I said if I was going to do it, I would always stick to the true story of what the brand is,
Starting point is 00:05:42 which is my dad's story. So I would tell the racing side story, but I would also tell the equine therapy story. And the equine therapy bit is a portion of our proceeds. We still donate to equine therapy programs. Okay. And so he would do these programs for inner city youth kids in Newark, New Jersey,
Starting point is 00:05:59 where it was close to where he was stabled, or veterans with PTSD or kids with special needs. And so that's a big piece of our brand ethos. Wow. Giving back to the community. You hear that, Max Siegelman. You know, he's the king of New York. He's just under the radar right there. That's a big title.
Starting point is 00:06:18 You know, no, I mean, you know, you, I mean, you know, New York Knicks, like I go to the games. I actually wore your hat. Shout to my man, Dre, with Corside. You know, Jalen Brunson has your hat on. Yeah. I mean, Carmelo Anthony has your hat on. Steph Curry have your hat on.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Aaron Judge has your hat on. Keep going. It's just, and I'm quite sure there's many more. And if it's dope, it's dope. You know what I'm saying? But just the things you're doing in fashion, how do you feel when you see celebrities? Because you're a humble of God.
Starting point is 00:06:54 Like, I feel like you made it already. You just don't know it. So how do you feel when you see Steph Curry, Aaron, and all these big names wearing your stuff. Yeah, I mean, I think it's obviously the coolest thing in the world. I think like the backstory when I first started this, all I would do is in the pandemic, trying to figure out how to get the word out there
Starting point is 00:07:11 and was watching future music videos. And then six months later, Future was wearing a hat in a music video. So I don't know if I was manifesting it indirectly or what. But it's just as cool when you're walking around a random city or you're in a random airport or in a random restaurant and you see someone wearing a hat and a sweatshirt and you have no idea who they are. So it's the coolest thing in the world to see Jalen Brunson and Mello and Judge and all these guys wearing it.
Starting point is 00:07:35 And it's just as a cool feeling when a random person walking around is wearing it. Definitely. I've definitely seen, I think Kendall Jenner wearing it too. That was a big moment for us for sure. Once a Kardashian, where is it? You know you solidified? Yeah, it was Paris Fashion Week. Justin Beaver?
Starting point is 00:07:52 Oh, so you tried, you went to Paris Fashion Week? I wasn't there, but that's where she wore it. Wow. Yeah. That's big. Yeah, it was good. That's a big moment for us. It's a little thing, because I always think, like,
Starting point is 00:08:02 what artists and celebrities, they always, like, I don't know, just make things pop. Like, we knew about a Koogee from Biggie Smalls. Yeah. You know what I mean? Rent DMC, we knew about Adidas from them. Yeah, I think different celebrities, different athletes, different music artists have different impacts.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I think there's a very small number of them that can take a product, wear it, and lead to sales to change the trajectory of the business. Kendall Jen is one. is definitely one of them. But I think there are others where they wear it and versus them leading to sales, which obviously is important, but more importantly,
Starting point is 00:08:37 also just validate you as a brand to your existing community. And so I think all of the steps and the pieces lead to the next phase. So they're all important. That's crazy. Can you talk about your collab with Ford because I've seen the pieces down there to denim?
Starting point is 00:08:51 Yeah. I mean, because now we're going from, you know, all the New York teams to cars now. Yeah. I mean, Ford's a good one, and it's a good way for us to, it's our first introduction to do something with the automotive brand. Growing up, my dad only drove Ford Explor's, Eddie Bauer editions. Right, right, right. I remember those.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Yeah, those are nice. So I think for me, it was like Barry on brand, still could tell the brand story. And it was just an ideal scenario where we were going to drop it on the 4th of July. The majority of our stuff's made in the U.S. It was like very Americana feeling, and it was our biggest collection. Yeah, it was 20 pieces. So it was headwear, denim, loungeware, swimwear. So it was one of the biggest ones.
Starting point is 00:09:34 The denim jackets is super fire. Got to get you in it. Total is on one with some 10-tims, you know, wintertime vibe. That's it. I love everything you're doing. We got to get some leather jackets going too, because I love what you're doing. We got all the hats. This feels like the New York, this feel like the New York Yankees vibe right here for me, though,
Starting point is 00:09:52 when I see these hats back here. Getting us ready. You got to see you and say we'll have more famous than Yankees. hat. That's big. An IHeart Radio experience. You end up with weekend gold tickets to Lassau Montreal. Thomas Rhett.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Mumford and Sons. Here's my pride and here's my shirt. John Party. Old Dominion. Carly Pierce and more. And the prize gets even sweeter. With flights from Porter Airlines, three nights at Residence Inn downtown Montreal, and $1,000 cash.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Download the free IHart Radio app. Listen to Pure Country for 10 minutes. to win. Lassau, Montreal. Every day you listen is another chance to win. Hey, I'm Hoda Kotby, host of the podcast, Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby. Okay, if you know me, you know this. I'm always searching for inspiration, for support, and useful tools to help maximize joy. So this podcast lets us uncover all of that together. We're going to have these meaningful conversations with the world's most fascinating people, like when actress Olivia Munn shared, how she overcame fierce health challenges that she never saw coming.
Starting point is 00:11:03 I've gone through breast cancer and then helped my mother through breast cancer, and that was more difficult. There's a lot of people who understand postpartum depression. I was not prepared for postpartum anxiety. Olympic champ Sean Johnson revealed why she had no choice but to be a gymnast. There was something about gymnastics that was intoxicating to me. It's given me a belief that we all have one of those treasures inside of us. We just have to find it.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Listen to Joy 101 with Hoda Kotby on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, everybody, it's the Jonas Brothers. This week on the podcast, Hey Jonas, we're so excited to be hanging out with Mika Abdallah from the hit show off campus. Congratulations on the massive show and massive success. Got through about episode five. I left the next morning to go meet the guys. Came back. I was like, cool, let's pick up where we left off.
Starting point is 00:11:50 And that series had been completed without me. Oh, no. That's like the number one rule of watching. Basically. It's literally cheating. It's cheating. It's crazy. We talk about what it's been like watching the show
Starting point is 00:12:01 become such a massive hit. What's next for season two? And just how close the off-campus cast really is. We're genuinely so close. What's the group chat called? If you can say, if it's allowed to be said on the pod. That's a great question. One of them is off-campus Brazil.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Okay. Love it. Shout up Brazil. Shout up Brazil. And then the boys have their own group chat called Dean's B. Our conversation with Mika. is out now. Go check it out. Listen to Hey Jonas in the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. My first guest is Paris Houghton, Shakira, Luke and Yerrin, Samira, and Gracie.
Starting point is 00:12:44 I'm so excited. On the bouncy bed. You have surprises? Many surprises. Welcome to Sweet 305, where the group chat comes to life. What a f***. It's like a kind of a way, hello, my God, hello, a friend, hello, my friend, hello, What are? Look, I never have I've ever been with nobody. Except with my kids,
Starting point is 00:13:03 my kids are so know. Yes. I'm My Amante. Oof. That's incredible.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Yeah, the telenovela. You're the only person I know that loves a yellow starburst. It'slamated. And no,
Starting point is 00:13:17 there's someone you say, I'd like to collaborate with this person. This is Sweet 305. Listen to Sweet
Starting point is 00:13:26 305 with Lele Pons as part of my Culture Podcast Network on the My Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Who are some fashion people that, you know, inspire you?
Starting point is 00:13:39 Because I know you knew Virgil, rest in peace. Yeah, there's a lot of them. Him is always one that I mentioned first. How long you, how long you knew Virgil for? A couple of years. And it was through a job that I had before, a lot of, like, the consulting stuff. It was also through an agency called Outfront Media, where we were working with him on a bunch of stuff for Art Basel,
Starting point is 00:13:59 also for some of his art installations and exhibits that he was doing overseas in here. And so you just learn a lot from someone like that just by being around them, not even being involved in specific projects. But I think I take bits and pieces of where we are in the evolution of the brand from different brands, different individuals. I always say like when we first started, I would look at Supreme and Eric Emanuel and brands like that that were doing a drop model and killing it and doing it the right way.
Starting point is 00:14:26 And that's when we first started, that was the first phase of Seagull-McGerman. stable and how we got to the next phase and trying to drive resale and no one did it better than Eric and Supreme and brands like that. Oh, definitely. The EE shorts were crazy, eh? Yeah. My sons love the EEE. The EE shorts went.
Starting point is 00:14:43 It was like a fanatic for the summer. And now we're in East Hampton where he opened up a store right down across the street. So I think you go through different iterations of brand building and where your brand continues to grow and what trajectory you're trying to get into. And I think you just take bits and pieces from me. different individuals, different brands, and figure out how to apply them to what you're trying to do. I don't think there is a blueprint for it. I think you can take bits and pieces and make it work for you. Definitely. And look, you started in 2020, so it's like a couple years later,
Starting point is 00:15:14 here we are. You got wifey. I know she helps you with a lot of stuff too. I mean, all this stuff. She's the real boss, creative director, visionary. So you started off with the hats initially. I started with just hats and crew neck sweatshirts. And now we have 50 plus cut and sew skews. Everything from denim to lounge wear, swimwear, headwear, all of it. We've done suiting wool jackets, the whole thing. But that's kind of where we want to continue to build it. I think there was probably a point in the business a couple years ago where it was like, all right,
Starting point is 00:15:46 are we just going to stick to what we're doing? Sell millions of dollars worth or try to. And then that's it. You're kind of forgotten and you're maybe considered merch. And I think like the worst thing someone could say is like, I know exactly what you mean. Oh, you make merch. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:01 And I'm like, now we don't do that. We're like a contemporary luxury brand where we make a $300 knit sweater. We make a $3,500 suit, but we also make a $76 hat. Oh, I mean, I could tell everything's quality in the pop-up shop in the Hamptons. Everything's quality from the Walker. You know, you know, no, I'm just saying. It's a beautiful setup. The pop-up shop is amazing.
Starting point is 00:16:24 And I can tell, you know, I think by next year you'll be one. one of the biggest brands out there, like a Kith and the EEE. I appreciate you. And stuff like that. Because nowadays, people are not just focused on Louis Bitton and Rick Owens and stuff like that. People want the kids, they want the Kiff, they went to E.E. They went to Max Eagleman. Yeah, I think fashion went through an interesting phase.
Starting point is 00:16:48 I think like streetwear became luxury and luxury fed into streetwear and it's now just like a big mix and everyone's just trying to figure it out. So I think we found a lane for us and we're not trying to. follow anyone we're not trying to go through and be part of fast fashion and just do what's on right now just trying to stick true to what we're doing and let people understand who we are and that's the importance of doing a pop-up shop to get people in touch and feel try and the collab's always dope like I was at the game with dray and we I got a chance to meet um ronnie from um kiff and I noticed a picture you're holding a single yeah yeah and I'm like I'm like I didn't have my um my A6s on yeah A6 collab that he had
Starting point is 00:17:28 because those are some of my favorite sneakers yeah who would you want to collab if you do sneakers with you don't want to don't say anything i'm a fan of whoever we work with it's the same for sports teams like just because we're a new york brand doesn't mean you can only do new york teams most people don't know that our first NBA collab ever was the san antonio spurs oh wow it was way early uh and it was kind of under the radar but it was a sick drop and it was before we were doing cut and so um and so that was an amazing project for us and that was like one of the neck one of the like like pages in Siegelman's stable, I was like, okay, we can do this. And then the next thing you know, we're working with the Knicks where as a kid from New York
Starting point is 00:18:06 and a New York brand, we can't have a cooler team to work with. So, yeah, I'm a fan of whoever we work with. Definitely. You know, I've got to get a whole bunch of stuff before I get out of here. How does your father, Ronnie, right? Robbie? Robbie. Sorry, dad.
Starting point is 00:18:23 Robbie. How does Robbie Siegelman, your dad? Like, how does he intertwine into the business and to the, to the Clover line because I know he was a horse training. Yeah, so this whole brand's built on him. So he still calls himself the CEO, the chief equine officer. He was also one of the first people who said, who the fuck's going to wear a Seagelman stable hat?
Starting point is 00:18:43 But now him and my mom are both pretty much retired and they follow us everywhere we go. They are super proud, but also like, I can't believe that this is happening kind of thing because it went from a logo that my mom made for my dad when he opened his stable in the 80s. Your mom made the look? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Wow. Shout out to mom. Yeah. So it's definitely like a real family story, family business. And I think that they are just happy and joyful and can't believe that this is actually happening. I mean, you know, because a lot of people, you can have a celebrity wear your stuff and it's still not really be hot. But when I've seen Jalen Brunson with it, I just love the New York. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:24 The New York, Nick Color one. It fit right. I, yo, I wore it a couple of times You can ask you So it's just, I just think With fashion dope is dope Yeah, I think those things like people wearing it is Like, it's helpful. I think you got to figure out how you build on it
Starting point is 00:19:38 And be smart and consistent and connect the dots As soon as you slow down or stop There's another 5,000 brands behind you Trying to take your spot So not that we're trying to take anyone's spot We're just trying to grow at our own pace You're very humble, you're not really on Instagram too much like that? I'm on Instagram, but I don't place to
Starting point is 00:19:56 that you're kind of like under the radar yeah as if I had the deals you had I'll be popping mad shit I got to deal with the Knicks max rages yeahkees just try to make good campaigns get it out there it's crazy because when I when I look at you I feel like a Virgil feeling like you got all the best compliments you can get so I appreciate and and then like you what are you going to design cars next like what are you going to do the sneakers next you definitely got to do the max you never know I'd like maybe four to him A six, and do an interior of a car.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Yeah. You know, and that's the thing about fashion because fashion is not an easy business. It's not. Like you said, people get caught up. I'm making merch.
Starting point is 00:20:36 I'm not making clothing lines. I sell my free A.O. shirts and stuff like that. But you're a high-end line, a luxury line. Yep. And that's where we're trying to continue to build. Who inspires you?
Starting point is 00:20:49 Everything. Everyone, everything. Definitely my fiance, who's our creative director. She crosses it. But yeah, I mean, I think people like you mentioned, like Virgil and other artists, and I think there's ways to get inspiration, not even just from people in fashion, from people from all different verticals and trying to figure out how to embed it into what we're building and doing. So what does a max Siegelman day look like? Like, what time are you up?
Starting point is 00:21:14 I wake up early. I go for a run. I work out. Start working right away. I talk to like 250 people on my phone all day, text, emails, DMs, calls. just trying to get stuff done. You're doing big business, man. Thanks for having us here.
Starting point is 00:21:31 At the pop-up shop in the Hamptons. Before we leave, can we take a look at all the stuff you got to hear? Let's do it. Let's look at some of these clothes. All right. Cool. So we was with Max and we was talking about in the Hamptons what sold out and the dope pieces we got to do.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Let's talk about the dope jerseys, the hats. Yeah, this was our summer collection. So it was the first time we did mesh. We did a mesh top. There's no longer here. It was sold out. It was a mesh bottoms. two and then we also had one with Ford which I'll show the 1982 which is on the side of all the
Starting point is 00:22:00 hats also it's the year my dad started his racing stable oh wow I was just about to ask you so symbolic about that I wasn't born yet was a good year I wasn't born yet but yeah that's what I was told definitely to me some of the best years in my life as a kid and then the flee stuff which we do a lot of oversawes so they're super long cozy good set and then the oversized zip it's so crazy how oversized and baggies coming back in yeah that That hoodie is dope. This is comfy as shit. It's so crazy.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Definitely got to try that on. Try that on. Yeah, she got to go ahead. I'm gonna need me a couple of things for talk. We'll figure this out before you go. Definitely. Super dope. Super dope.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Super dope. Super dope. And then the East Hampton tea. Anything that says Hamptons or East Hampton on it, sells fast. People love it when they visit. They always want the stuff that says that Hanson's on it. So what is your father? actually do with the horses because like you trained him he trained him to race train him to race and then
Starting point is 00:23:00 uh how to get into that he grew up on long island uh like 10 minutes from roosevelt raceway so you know where roosevelt field mall is now it used to be a racetrack yeah and so in high school he played college soccer went to college played had an opportunity to go pro but back then you weren't making money playing soccer still now is debatable if you make money here right now you make a little bit a little bit more than you would have but decided to go back and like followed his love for horses and start training race horses for this guy named Carmine Abatello which was like the biggest horse trainer in the country at that point. Wow. Stayed with him for a couple of years and then started
Starting point is 00:23:37 his own stable so we started training horses for wealthy individuals groups of people and actually stayed with the same group of people almost the entire of his career which like pretty unheard of. So he started at Roosevelt Raceway when they shut it down he moved the actual Siegelman stable to the Meadowlands in Jersey and then in South Jersey in Freehold. So yeah, he every morning got on the back of this horse, took it around and trained them.
Starting point is 00:24:05 And in the beginning when he first started, before he had my older brother, he would actually ride in the races also. So it's like a family business. Your mom's made the logo, the 82 is symbolic to your dad. And I love this, this, the color and everything is right, the burgundy, the hat. Yeah, it's perfect.
Starting point is 00:24:24 And these are a core. colors our core colors navy and uh chili pepper red let me not drop that trying to take that that hoodie home drop it you buy it that's right these is fired too the my shorts right here yeah that's a bathing suit so it was it first year we did swimwear yeah these are dope and then a bunch of our basics and the linen set that i'm wearing that was our ready to wear in the swimming trucks they're getting like shorter like shorter down here but I like these these are though yeah they're comfy we included it in the Ford collection also we did a set and the bikinis for the ladies as well the bikinis for the ladies I see I see
Starting point is 00:25:06 these sweaters though we have a new we're on the bikinis we did these like rustic metal logos oh yeah that's though the charms that's different I never seen something like this on a bikini I don't know how many bikinis you're wearing though I mean, no, you know, for the ladies. This is dope. Find out here. Yeah, you'll be in the bikini. No, I'm just, no, I've never seen the logo like this, like, hang from a bikini.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Usually, that's kind of, like, kind of dope. Our creative director, talented. So he got a lot of jokes over me about me wearing a bikini, but when have you seen this in a bikini? That's dope to me. I like stuff that's different. Yeah. No, it's cool. And we use that charm on a bunch of different stuff, too.
Starting point is 00:25:51 Yeah, that's dope. So it's cool. Keep doing that because I like that. This is one of our best-selling stuff. We included in the summer stuff too. Yeah, I know. All we got is the medium left. I'm going to tell you the last one.
Starting point is 00:26:00 I might have to take that one. With the big logo on the back. I might have to squeeze in that one. Pajama pants. We also have the top, but it's sold out. I like this too. And then the girls also wear it like on the beach over the bikini. You can wear that outside.
Starting point is 00:26:12 I've seen that before. And then there's some more of our basic stuff. This is a piece from our Indy 500 collab. That's dope. We didn't even talk about it. You didn't even tell me about it. We're still here. Let's talk about 8500.
Starting point is 00:26:23 We did a collab with Indy 500 this year in May. That was amazing, obviously, because it's just like a historic race in the US. And a jacket is dope. And we didn't use horsepower. We saved that for Ford, but obviously you could use that for that too. But yeah, you see the embroidered logo. That jacket is dope. And the big back.
Starting point is 00:26:39 The barn jackets for us are big. I love the way the colors just mesh together and everything. It's just everything is right. Then they had the two matching shorts. Definitely. And this is my educational shirt. So it's called the Pacer. And that's all the different pieces that you could potentially put on the horse during the race or training.
Starting point is 00:26:56 You don't put all of it. So I wouldn't be able to answer that. You didn't use face-time my dad to ask them those questions, but use some of it depending on how they run. Wow. That's crazy. I like that. But it's cool. It's cool.
Starting point is 00:27:11 And then, yeah, our nits. Cool. Sweets, yes. So I always say when people come in to buy it, I always say you don't wear the sweater. You don't wear the knit. The knit wears you. So it kind of lays on you. You want to try one on?
Starting point is 00:27:22 Try the big one on. That's dope. Be on the bottom probably. Try it. It sits on you. It's nice. It's cozy. Try that on.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Yeah, I like this. I'm messing up the table. Sorry. Oh, yeah. And I like that. I like it's a light sweater too. Yeah. My sweater's not that heavy?
Starting point is 00:27:44 And then with the same material, we did the braulette for the ladies. And then the shorts, which you would think is only for women, but the men do bond too. They're comfy as hell. Why do you say they only think for women, huh? People usually when I walk in think it's a two-piece situation.
Starting point is 00:27:59 The sweater's dope. You're leaving it with everything. What else we're looking at? Some more of our summer stuff. They see the metal tips on there. So we lean heavily into like the hardware pieces that we can include because in harness racing, there's a lot of on the horses and on the cart, like the class.
Starting point is 00:28:19 There's a lot of hardware and metal that go into it, so you can see it on there. So we try to include and incorporate a lot of the hardware and metal pieces onto some of the clothing. And then this, most likely for 50. Let's see. Oh, yeah, that's told. Shorts my below short. We'll send it to them overseas. Just need to.
Starting point is 00:28:38 There you go. You know, you use the muscle man. And then I know you notice the bucket hats before. Come on, that's my signature. This is our one bucket hat with the buckle. with the metal piece I hope it fits you I'm leaving that's totally perfect that's it that's perfect start the color how do you come up with the color schemes and just know the right thing to make because like the sweater's dope the bucket's dope I love
Starting point is 00:29:05 everything there's nothing here that I didn't like yeah I mean like different different season we use different colors the washes like obviously like the t-shirt you showed up in like the wash on this material it's the same exact material as this, but the way it's washed with the potassium wash makes it like that much more soft but it's a nice, thick, heavy material. You know, wear that shirt on Instagram, it did, 150,000 views.
Starting point is 00:29:26 That's it. People love it. I love the shirt. Everybody complimented me on it. I love the hats. And these are the big baggy sweatpants you're talking about. Oh, yeah, baggy sweatpants. The style changed. And then these are the wide ones without the wild ones we talk about. Why are you thinking it went to the bell bottom sweatpants? My son love them, huh?
Starting point is 00:29:42 Oh yeah, the logo is. Yeah. I love it because it's nice and low-key, and I love the way you have it stitched in there. Why do you think the bell bottom sweats came back like that? Everything comes back. Everything comes back. Why you think so? I used to be, I used to wear all skinny jeans.
Starting point is 00:29:57 And now you can't make a wide enough pair of pants for me. Everything's oversized now and it looks still, still look, feels dope now. Now it feels like. Everything is a little bit more relaxed. So you used to walk in a restaurant, so you have to go to the office or whatever it is. And I'd be a little bit more like uptight and button up. This hoodie feels. But now you can walk wherever.
Starting point is 00:30:12 This hoodie feels. Yeah, you look like you're ready to go. This is great. Uh, it feels great. Moving on to next. This we did for in spring, which we're going to bring back. Yes, that's going to do too. This is like retro sweatsuit.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Of course. We actually have a new one of these coming out first week of August. And then again, for collaboration for the U.S. Open for tennis at the end of August, beginning of September. US Open, too. That's another collaboration, man. U.S. Open just gotten so crazy. You're a real humble guy, man. This is a new color way for the Knits for summer.
Starting point is 00:30:44 We made a couple of exclusive hats for. the store this one strictly made for the store only because Sunflower is my favorite flower oh okay Caroline like I like I like but also you don't see a lot of like this color way like a lot of brands make the same style hot now I haven't seen that color way yet so it's a good one and then this is a with farm and forage it's a market in Southampton okay so we did a collab matcha with them for our opening week carrot cake matcha play on like what horses eat get it carrots and so 100% of proceeds for the
Starting point is 00:31:16 this hat went to equine therapy center of their choice that's good giving back man you know i love this too this color scheme like the color schemes everything is the good thing is the last one it happens to be your size so well let me figure that after and then this where you keep talking about the fourth collab yeah this whole fit like the oversawes everything i like the color the denim that less like that light white denim color yeah we wanted to make it look vintage because we did when we did the shoot we used uh like a vintage 1980s 1986 pickup so we wanted to just like play in on that as much as possible and then uh we did our brought our jorts back see they see the details here and then we told the story of the ford
Starting point is 00:31:57 club using the phrase horsepower which was too easy to that was too easy but dope at the same time so we did like the patches on there we did the patches in front of the jacket the patches on the short sleeve dental i'm really loving that jean jacket a lot and the shirt oh man and then for the the ladies we continued the bikinis and we did a denim print you're saying you have the bikini joke on me but like come on then we did the four logo and then our logo back to back I know the joke's on you here you just like to be you just like to be different that's what I'm noticing about everything like which like I said before like we don't want to follow trends we just kind of build our own way and let the right people be attracted to what we're doing the denim hat we did a
Starting point is 00:32:39 denim hat of our own in the spring so we brought it back just in this and that shorts for summer and this one of my favorite pieces that we brought back is our retro Kroanex sweatshirt which we'll be remaking with us like our own logo and everything Yeah definitely. Yeah This with the with the Navy bucket hat though The Navy bucket hat?
Starting point is 00:32:57 We got order order with this one Yeah definitely the horsepower We definitely do that one And then we incorporate the new The newer Ford logo on this one With the double stitch Fire And that's our summer pop-up
Starting point is 00:33:12 Everything is pretty much fire. Summer Pop-up, Max Siegelman. He's going to come up. The next biggest clothing line to come out in the world, I'm telling me, man. I'm telling you. This guy's humble. He got some of the biggest deals with these in the world, but he's a humble guy, and that's what I love about him.
Starting point is 00:33:31 But in the next two years, you don't know everything about this guy, man. Thanks for having me today. Appreciate you. Thank you for coming. Take a time, man. I'm stealing everything, right? Door is locked. Joy is essential and it's also elusive.
