I need the noise. I need to hear the fucking horns. I need to hear the police. I need to hear humans. I can't live in this shit. And so there's places like that. I see what you saying. I just got back from L.A. shout out the bone thugs in harmony. You know, I came up with them.

They was jumping on my records, coming in all my videos, showing massive love. So, you know me, I don't like to fly unless it's money involved.

I got to jump on this fucking plane. And everybody was looking at me like, yo, you talk all that bone thugs shit all the time, stories of you and up. And you acting like you ain't going over there to pin on a plane? Get on the plane. That shit we're doing all that shit. But we went out ice tea. They called him the king of L.A., big boy, called him the king of L.A.

You know, he started gangster rap. You said that here. I see. Started gangster rap. Right? That's what you said. Definitely one of the first people who, me as a kid seemed talking gang, talking that gans. You're younger than us, but you were saying like colors and all.

You knew all that. Yeah, like, like, Ice T definitely is the founder, the founder of gangster rap. Like, I said, I ain't, like, remember. Remember, like, seeing it, but as I got older, like, you know what I'm saying? Niggas was definitely like ice tea. They're telling you, yo, Ice-T is like, he set this bitch off. Yeah, for sure, for sure, for sure. You know what's crazy is Ice-T back in the day was floating around the Bronx.

I used to see Ice-T with the Jerry Carls and all that in the Bronx with nothing but love and knew everybody who was somebody, I'm talking about the pre-historic, days. He knew all those, you know, the Zulu Nation of this. I used to see him with all these guys, Africa, Islam, and all of them. And I used to just be like, yo, what do you mean? Because we, we forget people have cousins, right? You could be from somewhere and you could have real cousins that live in Compton or something, and they're really your cousins. And they live in the bronze, and they're strong. They bring you over and you good. And I'm telling you, I've seen him when Larry Davis shot the cops,

I seen your man, iced tea, walking around the South Bronx. I gotta give the validity to where it's that. I gotta say the truth. Not when Larry Davis actually shot him.

When Larry Davis shot the fucking cops, right around there. A day or two later, he don't got nothing to do with Larry Davis. I'm just saying, I know, that the whole New York City, looking for Larry Davis and this nigga

I'm in the shit. I'm like, yo, this fucking ice tea. They're born it. How he and Larry Davis. Anyway, let's... Now, publicly, you always... You talked about anxiety, PTSD, how I know you and mental health struggle.

And that's actually worked into your album and all that. You know what I mean? What's going on with the mental health? How serious is that a lot of people use it in... You know what I mean? But with this project, it seemed like that's the main focus that you... trying to get out there,

especially to our people and our areas and neighbor. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? It was a therapy session, like with myself, you know what I'm saying? Just owning up to the fact that a lot of shit that I ain't really fucking with in my life, you know what I'm saying? It's really with my fault, you know what I'm saying? It was being accountable, you know what I'm saying? A lot of people got a big problem with being accountable.

Like a lot of people from broke people to the richest people, they just don't want to accept accountability. You know what I mean? I got one for you. I one time accused somebody that's a very dear friend, very family, they're stealing something from him. But it felt like he was the only person that could steal it. Like one of my watches was missing,

and he was the only one. And I'm like, you want me to say his name? You're like to say it. My man Carlito. And so Carlito, well, you want me to say. So Carlito used to be with pun every day. Look, I'm missing this watch.

He's the only nigga there. So I'm like, yo, Carlito, man, you took my fucking watch. And I trust Carlito. You made me say his name and all that. Let me stop your story because I got an even iller one than that. My man Jay Bob, which is Mary's cousin who passed the demo to Mary that got us. All of that. My day one, he was my hype man for years.

He's still my brother. This is my hustling days. I come down the hill a fresh hundred sack of green bag 1212. Yo, Bob, walk me in the elevator. Put my pack in the thing. One second. Come back out. You know, kiss, let me get five for something.

Go back in. It's gone. Me, yo, boy, where's my pack? Him, kiss. I don't got a prompt. He's about to get it on. He asked you for $5. No, he just, I just came out the crib with a fresh shot ready to rock and roll.

I stash and I'm waiting for a sale. A sale go. 2.3 seconds. I go back, nothing. Me, your bop. Give my fucking pats. I don't got, I don't. You're like, we're only two here.

It was only one miller. We went like this. We turned this. round, it was gone. Me, your crack. Man, not playing with me, man. Him, I think your bro. I swear by, there's nobody else, only him or the Lord could have.

He was there, dog. No, that's what happened. I'll find out one of the sneaky-ass bass heads which, they saw the whole day. Soon as we left. Man. We're chilling out. They calmed us down.

We smoking, all that. Somebody came out the building. Whoever got them green bags, they and Debshouse having the party up there. This, we beat the brakes on. Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to my man, Peanut. We almost, we obliterated them.

Nah, peanut disaster. That was great, but that's one of them kind of situations. What I'm talking about accountability is I was wrong. I was wrong, too. I had to apologize. Over, over like maybe like a year to, I realized there's no way on earth he would have stole that. and somebody else stole it and this, that.

So I hadn't seen them. My shit took only hours. No, my shit took like a year to. And I'm at Raoul's funeral, and I'm talking about Raul. And in the middle of it, I see him in there, and I say, yo, ma'am, I'm sorry. I fucked up.

I should have never ever accused you. I know it wasn't you. I know it wasn't you. And it's foul. I accuse you. Forgive me. But that was a big moment for me. of accountability in front of everybody,

because, you know, this Raul's, my brother's funeral, the whole T.S is in there deep. And I don't know. I was just going, and God told me to say sorry in front of everybody. And so a lot of people don't know how to do that,

man. They don't know how to say sorry when they wrong. And I'm not just talking about black people's fantasy. I'm talking about rich people. I don't care. People just don't admit when they wrong. And so you said you took a lot accountability and put it through your music.

We, like, we men, so, you know, this should be regular. Like, you know what I'm saying? We, like, like, we get talking to taking care of everybody and all that. Like, you know what I'm saying, that's, like, that's what we're here to do. Like, so that part, that part. be regular. You know what I'm saying? But being like, you know what I'm saying?

When you do whatever you do, and you take care of your peoples and all that, and that's done. Like, you be having whatever going on in your life and you're still feeling how you're feeling how I deal with that shit. Like, I just sell with myself. Like, I just just yourself for like six, nine months. Like, I don't want to talk to nobody.

I don't want to, like, I had to sit with myself and just get right. You know what I'm saying? Like, nigga I ain't doing too. I ain't doing too much. hanging out with niggas, like, I'm watching while I get my energy, too, watching energy to come around me, you know what I'm saying?

And really just, like, thinking about the bounce back, like, how to get right, you know what I'm saying? I ain't one of them, like, a nigga ain't no, I got mental health problems and all that. It was just, you know what I'm saying? I hit this time, my life, and I ain't expect, you know what I'm saying, the shit that was happening.

It's a happy. And it didn't happen. The title was like, oh, what shit? And I'm like, damn, like, nigga fucked up right now. Like, it's like, I bet. Like, nigga I gotta figure it out. You know what I'm saying?

So this album, you know what I'm saying? The Gentleman's Club was like, it just represented. Why is the title of gentlemen's club? But the title of gentlemen's club for a lot of reasons, like one of them is about growth. You know what I'm saying? Like the nigga grown-ass man. Like I came in the game.

I was young. I was a kid. You know what I'm saying? And like I was giving motherfuckers the same shit. You know what I'm saying? For so long, like, I felt like it was time for something new. You know what I'm saying? Because, like, I go around and I ask people like,

what's the first thing you think of when you think of was? And all they were taught, they like blood, big blood, bont and powder powder, red, police. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, yeah. You know what I'm saying? So I'm just like, damn that's all. Like, that's it. Like,

a nigga running businesses, you know what I'm saying? I got this going on. I'll be in my fashion shit and who, what? But all they was talking about was that. And then, like, I was asking, like, why?

I see news clips. I see niggas getting shot. Knicks done. All this. Like, I just had to really. Like, yeah, you never gave, like, the world's not different. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? You've been giving that, and that's all you've been seeing.

And I was like, oh, yeah, I got to switch it up, you know what I'm saying? Because the nigger all laughed for sure. You know what I'm saying? But a nigga, like, a nigga be outside. in his own way. But like the nigga ain't, like, a nigga ain't in the set on a block hanging out with the homie like how a nigga used to be and all that.

Like, that ain't what a nigga life look like, you know what I'm saying? But I'm just like, yeah, like I gotta show these motherfuck or something different.

Like, I dropped my crazy life and I dropped still Brazy. And then doing them time, like I was looking into my contract and shit. And I found out, like, my deal was fucked up

and all that type of shit. So when I found out, I was just like, oh yeah, these niggas playing me. They're playing everybody. Yeah, they're playing everybody. I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm not fend to get these niggas no more real albums. I'm fin to just, I'm fin to do this. You know what I'm saying?

I had this nine-month clause. Like, album between, I'm trying to wait nine months. You know what I'm saying? So I said, all right, I'm dropping every nine months. And I'm just dropping shit to get out of my deal. Got it. So I did that. Like, I made sure I had a hit on every album, though.

Like, on every project, I made sure I had to hit. But boom, I did that. And then when I finally got out, I felt like a nigga just drugged his name through the mud, you know what I'm saying? As an artist, I'm like, damn, like, nix is playing on my name, like, all this shit. I'm saying, I'm mad. I'm mad at the world. Nicks got me fucked up, you know what I'm saying?

But when I started making this album, Sigamo was supposed to come and ain't all the album with me and shit. So he pulled up on me and shit We have a meeting And he like What you're on? I'm like, Niggas got me fucked up
