Starting point is 00:01:00 One, two, one, go. Enjoy the show. Hey, guys, and welcome to another episode at the J.R.E. Review this week, me and Brandon are reviewing episode 2418, Chris Williamson, British guy. Yeah. Got the accent and everything, you know, full-blown. Oh, hello. Shitting on some UK politics.
Starting point is 00:01:30 And I'll be honest, not super pumped about, like, the YouTuber episodes. You know what I mean? Like the podcaster ones. Oh, him being a YouTuber? Yeah. And what is it about that you don't care about? They're very just hit or miss, you know, because I feel like a lot of those guys are just, like, so happy to be on Rogan. Sure.
Starting point is 00:01:54 And they're just, like, kind of glazing them. And they're kind of just letting Rogan talk about whatever he wants. where when you get like other guys who like specialize in certain fields it feels like more like an interview where i don't know some of these episodes it's like it's just joe kind of just bouncing off his own topics it's a lot of that yeah it's almost like joe's talking to a self-help book yeah because they just they that that's you know what these types of guys become is they just get they're taking in so much knowledge and good for for Chris to do that. He has great interviews and great conversations with people. So he gets all this
Starting point is 00:02:36 wisdom, whether it's stoicism or just history or he's just learning all this complex stuff. And then boom, he's like an ultimate self-help book. He's like, did you hear of this study? Or did you know about this? Or do you know if you eat peas on a Wednesday before 10 o'clock, your eyesight is 20% better than a goldfish? And it's like, how would anyone, even know this right and i will admit that i did enjoy a lot of aspects of this episode like i feel like there were some cool topics brought up um also they did have a bit of chemistry i feel like they kind of just kept like having the host role like back and forth yeah he was asking joe questions joe was asking him some questions of course joe kind of gets tunnel visioned occasionally
Starting point is 00:03:27 where he'll just bounce back and forth and like there will be a topic brought up and then he'll just completely take a left turn and be like you know uh you ever try to mace a bear or something which is fun and it can be fun but at the same time it could be like oh i i kind of wanted to know more about that like there was that whole thing where he talked about uh remember the whole like tomato thing he's like well what colors a tomato where he's setting Joe up to say red and then he's about to set like an example and get more into it where he's like what color is a tomato and Joe's like well technically it's uh uh red greenish but it depends on the temperature and the time of season and all that and then he goes off on a whole other thing and
Starting point is 00:04:12 then the whole plot is lost yeah but to be fair though you're talking to an Italian guy I mean yeah yeah if you bring up tomatoes it's over they're they're gonna they're gonna have some strong opinions for sure but no i know exactly what you're talking about yeah did you feel the same way yeah i think yeah i think so i mean look there there's a bit of a bromance going on there for sure and they he's been on enough times now that they're they're definitely tight you know they're they're starting for sure to kind of agree politically and and and you know with the landscape of what's going on in england i mean williamson has moved out to the state now. You know, I'm sure part of that is also just better access to interviews and bigger guess
Starting point is 00:05:02 over here. And, but, you know, then it does become a bit of an echo chamber between two very wealthy podcasters that are speaking to very similar types of people. And, you know, it's what it is. It's like, yeah, if you're really into that. And also, they are still sprinkling in some little elements of interesting facts and gold and pieces that are, that are nice. But you've got to kind of be patient and search them out. And it takes three hours. Truly, yeah. And I would love to dive into some of the reception of this episode.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Let's take a look. So, you know, a lot of people are saying, great to see them go back and forth as host. and that's something that I thought was great and a lot of fun to see during this episode and people really thought there was some great wisdom from Chris Chris did have a lot of cool points he shared a lot of interesting things I enjoyed his talking points and the things he had to say
Starting point is 00:06:11 I'm not even going to touch Reddit anymore Reddit is just a fucking hellhole for this podcast but a lot of people I mean it is for almost anything you can go on Reddit for recipes and it turns out the pies suck yeah like they hate everything yeah stop making the fucking colonizer desserts you motherfucker like this bullshit and there's how it's like how did this get political it's angry then also people were you know upset that a lot of stories kept getting
Starting point is 00:06:46 repeated because i feel like there were a couple things that i'm like i feel like i've heard that before from Joe but you know how many hours of podcasting is he doing a week of course things are going to be brought up how like what episode is this i think people do forget that sometimes but there was a lot of depending on where you look like youtube a lot of positivity but people were also calling out um joe's connections to uh this whole israel debacle going on how I'm not sure if you noticed during the episode, but they were talking about X, and Chris goes, oh, did you see the crazy thing when, you know, X has a thing now where you can see, I think they probably removed it. And I believe I read that somewhere, where you can see, like,
Starting point is 00:07:39 where the accounts are based out of. And it turns out that Homeland Security is based out of Israel makes things look bad. Yeah, that was wild. Things are already a little rough looking right now. That makes things look real bad. That's interesting. Joe's response was, oh, you heard about the Jake Paul Anthony Joshua fight?
Starting point is 00:08:05 Or something like that. I was trying to find the timestamp, but he redirects it instantly. There was a sharp left turn. I do remember that. There was a sharp left on that. How do you feel about that? Sometimes I don't know if this is like,
Starting point is 00:08:19 it does seem like a bit of a theme because it was happening during the Theo one but it also just might be just an attention element of Rogan it's hard to tell though it has happened a couple of times now so i don't know if he's trying to skirt an issue or not i mean maybe maybe he knows that it is just not worth going there and that might be the that might be the that might might be the topic not to talk about, not to get involved in. I mean, if people behind the scenes that were in a high enough position, you know, if Elon was just like Joe, one word of advice, don't get into this. Anything else? Do it. Don't get into this. That might be enough and could you blame him yeah it's i think i mean he's not the real news could you blame him and his whole thing he's like i just want to talk to people i i want to have conversations with the last thing he wants to get involved with is these like global politics this whole you know it's looking weird we're in a really weird time in history right now we'll see what
Starting point is 00:09:44 happens, but this is a real turning point for everything, it seems. Well, wasn't he also talking one of the big Jerry fan pages is like out of, yeah, dude, I wanted to say that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was like, I'll bring up Joe Rogan experience review. I was hoping, imagine that. That'd be some great press for us, but. Yeah, there's actually, there was an episode a long time ago. I think Ari Shafir was on it and and they were like eluding to um other shows that review
Starting point is 00:10:23 oh seriously and it and it wasn't it wasn't like a direct shout out but I but I think that was kind of intentional in terms of you know Rogan's not looking to encourage this maybe I don't know why he wouldn't I mean it doesn't seem like it's bad for him but it's also a little bit like coat-tailed stuff, so I get it. I wasn't offended, you know, but yeah, I mean, they have talked about have you ever seen the Joe Rogan AI experience?
Starting point is 00:10:55 You ever seen that podcast? Yes, yeah. Yeah, yeah, they just do like AI. He's mentioned that a few times on the show. For sure. It'd be crazy if 50 Cent is not on that. When the holiday season rolls around, it feels like there's a party every weekend. All of the sugary drinks add up. This season, I'm going to reach for Sol's out-of-office gummies instead.

There's an AI Rogan podcast, 50 Cent better be the first guest. Actually, that is hilarious. You say that. I'm going to look that up right now.
Starting point is 00:12:31 It has to be, dude. They must have made that. Also, that was also, like, I was looking at the comments on Spotify and YouTube and people We're like, yeah, where's AI 50 cent? There's many men, dude. People aren't going to get bored of that one for a long time. He hasn't made many still. He did.
Starting point is 00:12:49 He talked about that on this episode. Well, he did Sam Altman and Donald Trump early on, and both of those people have been on Rogan now. Then he did Andrew Tate. That never happened. He did The Rock. The Rock has happened. He did Drake.
Starting point is 00:13:03 Didn't happen. Logan Paul didn't happen. Steve Jobs obviously cannot happen because Steve is dead. and that was that was like over a year ago so he's kind of just stopped i was in contact with him for a while i think he's an australian guy um that's crazy that's a shame that is it's right there man it's right in front of you 50 get a i 50 cent on the podcast you should he should totally do it yeah for sure well i i think uh rogan should just get 50 cent on like come on Talking about people he should get on, who is that guy, what was his name?
Starting point is 00:13:45 Gabaldi? The one that they have the next, the singer that picked up like the Tourette's or the Tick or whatever and couldn't sing. You're not talking about Scatman John. No, no, no, no, no. No, he's an English guy. He's quite famous. Oh, yeah, yeah, what the fuck am I talking about? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:09 Yeah, what is that guy's name? Like, completely blanked. Huh. Yeah, I'm not sure. I know who you're talking about, but I don't know his name. Let's see if something comes up. I can't believe I can't find this. But anyway, just that, you know, what he went through.
Starting point is 00:14:27 And, yeah, I'm trying to search for it now, like an idiot. You're not going to find it. It's always so hard. When you can barely remember anything. and then you're just trying to piece it together with Google and it's like, I don't know. Exactly. But yeah, he like lost his voice because he couldn't sing
Starting point is 00:14:49 because of like a tick and then he like worked through it with therapy and these other things. And he's actually super talented, very funny guy and luckily managed to get it back and kind of work through that adversity. He would be a great guess for Rogan for sure. Definitely. I really hope things change, you know, because it's like I don't want to, like, you know,
Starting point is 00:15:15 be looking at this podcast in like two years. And it's just like Netanyahu on the podcast. And Joe Rogan's just showing them like the 50 cent AI cover of money. That'd be crazy. But anyway, I think this is. His name is Lewis Capaldi. Got it. Lewis Capel.
Starting point is 00:15:35 That's what it is. Alasin, he'd be a great guess, though. Yeah. He's definitely someone that Rogan could have on. And, you know, he sounded very intrigued. It's right up his alley. And that is the kind of interviews I think Rogan should lean into instead of rehashing stuff like Brett Weinstein and these doom and gloom guys and still freaking out about woke stuff. And, you know, I don't know if people are just getting bored with.
Starting point is 00:16:08 it or what it's like i don't mind like an ai update every now and again i don't even mind a hunter coming on every now and again it's pretty interesting but too much of a good thing or too much of a something is too much right and joe rogan everything in moderation he was saying at the end of the episode he's like i i know i know i get a lot of slack for it but it's common if you like it's coming well it's like well you can like choose to not fuel it i guess i don't know it's like i think a i art is like some of it's very dangerous and it's like fucking with a lot of people like i i'm in the music community quite a lot and i know people losing their jobs uh they had a client with a band the band dropped them they put out their album it's a i art and it's just solace um i know
Starting point is 00:16:59 it's coming for our jobs wait say that again like i have a friend who does cover art for bands he does like album art and uh-huh and uh he had a client who he was making art for and right away the client dropped him and then the cover uh that they put out that was supposed to be the cover he was going to make was AI no shit so it's already happening and then it's it's not really that you can tell it's AI right away but I don't know, man, because AI just takes from all these sources. It's just a mix of all these styles. It's technically kind of stolen art. I think there's a lot of cool things you can do with it for sure. I think some of the imagery and stuff is like just crazy realistic and it's
Starting point is 00:17:49 really cool to see as well as like taking certain songs and like, hey, give it like a soul feel. I think that's awesome. But there's this big like glooming cloud of just, this is bad this is going to fuck with everything this is going to kill jobs this is so i don't know it's like i i think it's like tread light as lightly as you can with this stuff instead of just being like well it's going to happen anyway so fuck it i'm going to embrace it which i don't know i'm not sure you feel about this stuff but yeah i mean look mixed feelings only because it's a cool tool that definitely has its use Right? Though at the same time, what are the drawbacks and what's the fallout? I mean, in an amazingly perfect world, imagine a system like a magic box and you sit down and you just say, and it's like a Netflix, but there's no movies on it. And it just says, what movie would you like? And you're like, right, I would like a predator style movie, but made.
Starting point is 00:19:02 in the roman era i want it combined with the movie gladiator i definitely want Arnold Schwarzenegger in it um what the war acts and exactly you can just like i want a love scene though i want to m night shalamalamelam twist or whatever that director's name is you can just put all these pieces in and it just makes it yeah like obviously we're a long way off from that but that would be It's mildly entertaining to just kind of walk through it. Yeah, I think. However, what does that mean? That means that every actor is out of work, every writer, every director, every, almost everything.
Starting point is 00:19:46 So, yeah, it's all bad stuff. I don't think real art's going to go away, though, because you look at, like, here's a weird analogy, I guess. You look at vinyl compared to streaming. vinyl is very popular it's taken over CDs you see it's not rare to walk into a like an apartment or a college door and see it even though it's so inconvenient is so inconvenient it's so hard and there's like it's music is free to stream on your phone it's so easy but people choose to do that because of how uh what it represents how real it is uh the history behind it how authentic it is.
Starting point is 00:20:30 And I think we're going to see that with real art versus AI art. Yeah, people are going to dive into it for sure. But at the end of the day, it's like kind of empty. And it's like, you know, I want to like see a vision. I want to see a human being's vision, something that was inside their brain that they manifested into a song or a movie. And I think those are the most rewarding experiences in art compared to just like, uh, yeah, dude, fucking 50 cent should.
Starting point is 00:20:59 should have been a soul singer you know i don't know it's like i think it's like as humans i i think it's going to be crazy to not think that people are going to just be like yeah this is so like i miss being able to like see a director's vision and seeing how they evolve over time instead of just like slop like predictable exactly what i typed into a thing to just appear i don't know with porn it's going to take off and it's going to be the best thing ever but it's going to be huge yeah other than that that's my thoughts i don't know we'll see what happens though but uh there was some ai talk this episode and uh they also talked about the uh the whole like mike tyson fight jake paul and they talked about if it was scripted which was interesting managing my finances

Ends January 25th, 2026 at 1159 p.m. Eastern Time. Yeah, I mean, look, there was a lot of talk about Tyson kind of pulling punches,
Starting point is 00:24:20 and I watched a bunch of it on YouTube. And, you know, the way that he moves, it kind of looks like he's held back. But I've also seen videos of world-class ex-Olympian boxers break it down. And they're like, well, actually, if you watch it, Jake's much taller and he is actually moving back. And Tyson just knows that his punch won't get there. And he would waste a lot of energy. And that's just a smart boxing decision. I don't think that they would be lying on Tyson's behalf.
Starting point is 00:24:58 there's also the slippery situation that there was betting involved and a lot of money people could legit bet on there so if they were rigging that and it was agreed upon by the fighters I mean I would imagine that there would be pretty stiff penalties for that
Starting point is 00:25:20 I mean a lot of money could be on the line and all of the people betting are really getting screwed over by that um it just seems too dangerous to do it however it brings up the question with the guy that he's fighting right now um anthony joshua i mean this guy is like as good as it gets and far bigger and way better than jake i mean hands down i mean it is so much different between the two of them that it's basically bet your house on joshua i don't know what the odds are going to be but they're going to be so massively in joshua's favor that you would
Starting point is 00:26:09 need to bet i don't i can't even imagine it must be like a million dollars on joshua to win 10,000 i mean i can't imagine but the craziest thing is jake could get really heard from this like we're talking life-changing knockouts from something like this yeah and also with anthony joshua like this if he loses your career's over like with having this reputation and then a dude from vine beats you like it's over i think i think it's like the risk reward it's like i don't know man it would make a shit load of money it really would it's it's it's literally impossible it's like you beating me at jujitsu how many times have you been to jujitsu zero so you would have zero percent chance of beating me a jiu jitsu even if you got really angry it's just zero percent
Starting point is 00:27:12 anthony joshua is one of the probably top three heavyweight boxes in the world he's been up there for i don't know how five six years maybe a bit longer and he's massive i mean jake paul has been boxing some people barely even one professionalish semi professional guy you beat a 60 year old that's something it's just like dude the the levels to this game yeah you know i mean you take something like chess for example and you get the top guys like the very top guys you can't you can't get like a middle ranked person just having a lucky day they're never going to win you never win you will never beat the top people ever like i don't i don't see it's like playing with a baby i i don't see the worth of this because uh 19 million dollars yeah but it's like but you could also
Starting point is 00:28:19 fucking killed. Like this could kill Jake Paul. Like some of these hits, dude, like, you know, we both have seen him fight. Uh, he would kill Jake Paul. Dude, he could get killed. He could get punched so hard in the head that his brain explode. Well, because think about it. It's like, it's all about you're moving, you're covering up, even professional boxes, heavyweights, like they're bigger their heads are bigger the necks are bigger and they often don't leave themselves open to really big shots that are just like clumsy you're facing the other way you just get blindsided i mean it's just that a punch comes through or it's something you know just a bit clever that gets under the glove or it's a buildup of too many punches and the guy goes down he's just
Starting point is 00:29:10 had enough right sometimes you do get that punch that just gets over the guard someone are out of position, hits them, and those are pretty nasty knockouts. With a boxer that is as inexperienced as Jake in comparison to Anthony, he could get out a position so bad that Anthony could load up like he's hitting an actual punching dummy and put so much energy into that punch that it would, it could be fatal. like that is that is a real possibility dude and that is going to sell a lot of fucking pay-per-views actually are they just playing this on Netflix
Starting point is 00:29:56 where are they playing? I don't know where but I would be the first fucking person to get tickets to this there's no way I'm missing this yeah he would probably get killed but the thing is it's like it's like oh well it's probably I don't want to watch anybody die on television I don't know. I don't even want to really watch him get all that hurt.
Starting point is 00:30:19 I will watch it maybe on Instagram the next day, but just the short version. But yeah, I don't want to watch someone get smashed into a coma. I'm all in. Dude, I've been following Jake Paul's YouTube forever, 2016. I get it. this horrible song. I hate him. I am all in, dude. He's pretty unlikable at times. So unlikable. Even in like the boxing world, he's just like so cocky. Yeah, I don't know. Like the thing is, it's like, oh, is it going to be scripted? Well, I just feel like it's so risky. Because say he like goes
Starting point is 00:31:02 up to a boxer, you know, and he's like, hey, I want to fight you. And it's like, okay. And then he goes, okay, well, we're going to have some rules. And there's going to be a bit of a script. like what if that person goes well fuck you and then says hey everybody Jake Paul tried to do a scripted match with me a lot of these people have like pretty big egos oh yeah it's like there's I don't get how a lot of that like even if it is scripted like I wonder how that works you know it dude I just can't imagine it could be I mean I'm pretty sure they have to lay out like the rules are all laid out and they're like what the weight will be what the hydration rules are what the weight of the gloves are
Starting point is 00:31:46 you can't put rules in like no punching to the head or you know gentlemanly blah blah or no knockouts or you can't i don't think you can have rules like that that you don't um put on display when there are things like public betting involved because that's that's like like betting crimes it is those are massive felonies for like lots of people like literally everybody
Starting point is 00:32:16 that would know about it would get in massive trouble all right so it's December 19th that's Friday and oh no I'm flying that day that sucks
Starting point is 00:32:29 well that's awful I think you know then I'm going to dinner and then I'm canceling all those plans do it yeah cancel the whole week the whole week no just that day a lobster yeah
Starting point is 00:32:42 you know how do you feel about the the whole thing where they were talking about like the most depressed countries oh in England is well way up there it's even more depressed than like war-torn countries like Ukraine I would think Russia would be above I'm not surprised
Starting point is 00:33:01 really what do you think I think Russia would be above England no really no there are hearty people up there in russia strong folk we got a lot of vodka all the potatoes you could eat i think they got lots of potatoes i guess just
Starting point is 00:33:19 no they just get on with it brits love to complain like he was saying it's like part of our culture melancholy just like moaning if we're not moaning about something we're not alive it's the first thing you do when you get down the pub is you complain about the traffic on the way to the pub or you know that someone was parked weird or you know it was a tractor in the way down the down the lane
Starting point is 00:33:46 it's just you got to have all that i don't know how they get these statistics though of like the most depressed so they just go up to people like how bad do you want it surveys yes just surveys it's just a bunch of surveys and that's crazy so what was worse is beckistan i think was the worst? I think it was, yeah. I think that's what he said. That's like Borac country, right? That makes sense. It makes sense. It makes sense. I think America's getting up there. Probably not. I'm not saying it's going to be like top five, but I feel like whatever it was, it's worse than it was five years ago. That might be true. I think it is. Yeah. Dude, like also, like depression is. Well, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Five years ago was COVID. I don't think people were very happy at all then. That is true. Yeah. So I guess it's a little better, I guess, if you want to look at it. But, all right, say before COVID that. I feel like people were a little happier, maybe. That's true.
Starting point is 00:34:49 No, no, definitely. Yeah, before COVID, I think things were pretty solid. I mean, obviously people were there were those that were annoyed that Trump was president. If you were on that side, you didn't like it. But, you know, the economy was solid. things were, things were ticking along. You could buy houses.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Interest rates were okay. I mean, now we got a 50 year mortgage. Oh, yeah, 50 year mortgage. Nice. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:35:15 it's, well, it seems like both sides are a little depressed. Like, even Rogan is saying, like, the word,
Starting point is 00:35:20 like, he's talking about like, yeah, I don't think, I think, like when he had Tim Dylan on, dude, when he's talking about like,
Starting point is 00:35:27 yeah, America, I think we have a couple of years left, and that's all. It's like, fuck, dude. And it seems like everyone's,
Starting point is 00:35:34 in that mindset like even what was really depressing was even when they were talking about like the biggest threats and they're like oh global warming up you should they be thinking of AI takeover pandemic manmade pandemic like they were just listing off all these things like we're fucked I'm like just throw a dart and we'll see what word it hits that's how it feels yeah just any of these things could take over AI it feels like we're on the edge right now it's just something happening yeah it does feel like like something's about to change an ice age an alien invasion i don't know what but at least uh an alien disclosure like a really good one i mean that documentary being called age of disclosure might be a clue
Starting point is 00:36:18 yeah might be a clue um awesome that would be a great year to like great way to end the year which is oh yeah a couple aliens on on rogan would be so bullshit and like aliens get on rogan and he ends up doing like AI 50 cent it's like fucking come on dude come on dude that'd be a great episode though
Starting point is 00:36:41 get some grays on rogan yeah he interviews the first alien only talks him about elk meat and AI you're like the aliens in front of you dude
Starting point is 00:36:54 come on get this done yeah dude what was so funny about this episode where he goes uh uh jamie pull up perplexity
Starting point is 00:37:04 isn't that crazy that perplexity is like the new jamie and jamie is like just a bridge to that now yeah like perplexity is like such a main part of the episodes now well i mean technically it was google before i mean jamie wasn't a research true that is like when when people were like jamie you're amazing at pulling things up quickly he was just a fast typer in google I mean, I don't want to take anything away from Jamie, okay? You're quick at Googling stuff. That does take its own level of skill, but still give some credit to Google that, I'm sure. Or maybe they were using Duck, Doug Go.
Starting point is 00:37:46 They might be using Duck, that Go. Who knows, but Jamie is the man. And even, you know, people are saying machines are going to take over. You got AI already, like, taking over Jamie's job. It's like, what's going on here? Yeah, I wonder if, I wonder if that's going to start to happen, too. I mean, he, the, Rogan can't afford to get rid of, uh, Jamie now. He's too integrated in, uh, in the world of the part of the brand.
Starting point is 00:38:19 Rogan, yeah, he's, he's in. He's not going anywhere. But, um, anyway, I've got to use, I've got to start using some perplexity, I think, because they just bring it up too much on the show well it's a sponsor there we go yeah maybe you can sponsor us that'd be cool just everything you just hit up perplexity for that's it so uh yeah and then the um the bear thing was funny the oh the pepper spray doesn't work yeah too they the guy did went through two cans dude how terrifying is that i literally know people here in bozeman montana I've talked to them at breweries and bars that have been attacked by bears.
Starting point is 00:39:01 And they've talked about spraying them and it like was the reason they lived. So yeah, it's not perfect, but like they recommend it. Like the forest services like take it with you when you go hiking. I mean, if it did nothing every time, then yeah, we would all just have guns on us when we went hiking. and that's not what people are doing. Bears are terrifying, man. Especially the, like, the, God, when they eat both, like, meat and plant. So when they eat you, they just hold you down and just take bites of you.
Starting point is 00:39:39 That's nasty. It's alive. It is the worst way to go. That would be terrifying. It is so terrifying and how much power they have over you. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, look, if they're coming for you, you're done.
Starting point is 00:39:52 You're done, so. But, I mean, they also talked about mountain lines in that same. same way. I mean, there's tons of mountain lines up here in Montana. I mean, when I say tons, no, they're not like everywhere. But when you're talking about how many mountain lines you would expect in an area, there are more here than in many other places. And they are absolute killer machines as well. I mean, if they want to get you, you don't have a chance. There's nothing you can do. Yeah. But it's like, luckily they don't attack. like, you know, the, like, bear skin and the fur and everything, it's like, you're not,
Starting point is 00:40:29 you're not penetrating that thing. Like, it's, you can't fuck that thing up. With a mountain line, you can maybe grab a rock or something and hit it on the head, but. Good luck. Yeah. Have you seen, you see that thing recently where a guy, like, fought out, fought off a mountain lion on his own and survived, like a hot, an eye hanging out. It's just looking around. Really? I did it. Yeah. Oh, man. A few months back but uh that's pretty lucky i it is it is but with bears like once they get once they have you it's over oh yeah yeah i mean if a bear just like stood next you and did nothing and you were just like punching and kicking it as hard as you can it would do nothing for sure it would do nothing to the bear you could just not punch it or kick it hard enough where if you like
Starting point is 00:41:18 really you just get exhausted and you'd fall over and it would eventually it could just with one swipe. It would snapy and a half. Crazy. Territory. At least a brown bear kid. For sure. So what do you rate this episode out of ten? Well, I thought it was very funny hearing that England is like the most depressed country. I also like the fact about why we drive on the other side of the road so we can stab each other with swords. That was quite interesting. And then And then the little hits of gold, like the Louis Cabaldi bit, that was just like, I don't know, it just kind of reminded me of like, yeah, get him on. Maybe it'll lead to that. And overall, I like, I like Chris. I do like his style. And I kind of like what he's done in, in like the manosphere, maybe I'll say. I think he gives a lot of young men. um some drive and purpose and and you know it's like it's almost like he's a bit of the rogan of old for like a younger generation of men that maybe don't have old younger guys that just
Starting point is 00:42:40 don't have great guidance i mean he's all about like leveling up better performance staying healthy um you know keeping your mind right and um performing better like so the the overarching message that he has i think is is a good one so you know i give it an eight eight out of 10 cool wow um yeah i thought chris was cool i actually checked out some of his stuff after this and like he makes some cool content um yeah for me there was A lot of cool stuff talked about, but it did kind of feel like more of the same. There were some enjoyable bits, but a lot of it just was like, I don't know, I kind of just wish they, like especially that whole thing with X that they talked about in Homeland Security.
Starting point is 00:43:34 I was kind of upset by that. And there were just some like other things that were, you know, the whole like global warming it's been touched on and some other political issues. and I don't know, it seemed like Rogan did take over a lot of the conversation even though there was that back and forth for sure. For me, this episode was
Starting point is 00:43:55 kind of just more of the same. I'd give it a pretty solid six out of ten. Hey, Ontario. Come down to Bed MGM Casino and see what our newest exclusive the Price is Right Fortune Pig has to offer. Don't miss out. Play exciting casino games based on the iconic game show,

Hit hard. Might be the first time we've, we've had like the same score every episode, it seems. Yeah, pretty close. I mean, I'm definitely giving Chris some benefit the doubt just because I like him, for sure.
Starting point is 00:45:09 But yeah, while you were saying that, I was reminded. I was also in the gym during most of this. So often I get quite just, like, get in the zone and get distracted. The weightlifter thing was annoying. That was one bit that I, when they were talking about the female weightlifter. Yeah. And then the Olympian. It's like, look, I don't disagree with elements of that for sure.
Starting point is 00:45:35 But it just kind of, like, came out of nowhere. And we've gone through this enough. And I'm like, I get the point. I was just like, just move on, especially because I was also lifting weights maybe at the time. I don't know. But that stood out. That's definitely why I took two points off. There was a few moments like that for me of like kind of just beating a dead horse
Starting point is 00:45:58 where it's like we've done this. We've talked about this. You know, it's like, I don't know. It's, you know, I think it would be more interesting if he had someone on who believes the opposite or disagreed with him and to hear them talk about that. that's when I would really engage with a subject like that but it's kind of just the whole like it's like a tunnel vision or something you know it's all it's it's yeah I think I think the tunnel vision ones right people more and more people are starting to call those out and it's just
Starting point is 00:46:33 it's just getting um like impossible not to notice you know this theme is starting to exist and and and spread and there's reason for it and it is starting to bother people and i think it's something that that you know i i hope rogan starts to be a little bit aware of um just for himself even i don't think even he wants to be the guy that is just kind of repeating himself you know it's like we all do it at times even my wife says it to me sometimes she's like you just keep going on about the same issue recently i'm like yeah i know i'm just like obsessed with it it's like yeah sometimes you need that feedback and you got to let some stuff go but uh yeah exactly and i just feel like you know just have someone on who either specializes in it or disagrees in it i find that's
Starting point is 00:47:33 the most you know interesting conversations like i've had the same thing where i'll go on something forever and i'll talk about it politically i talked to someone who disagrees and sometimes I'll be like you know what I do actually agree with you on a couple points there and it'll change my whole perspective on it instead of just staying in this tunnel vision of I'm right I agree you are right okay we're right you know where I've always found that this podcast is most interesting when you have someone like Bernie Sanders on which I thought was a great episode and it was just nice to hear Joe go back and forth and really pull some statistics out and like like really fight for points instead of just like repeating himself so I hope to see more of that in the future but yeah it's you know
Starting point is 00:48:20 I didn't hate the episode for sure it was it was enjoyable I do like quite a few parts well on that note guys I think we leave you with this and tune in later in the week for probably another episode hell yeah so cheers
Starting point is 00:48:35 see ya later
