If you haven't checked out the Keegan Gill, UAP, Age of Disclosure episode that we dropped just before Christmas, check that out. There's been a huge response.
Starting point is 00:02:11 The people love it. It's been received well, and it was a great podcast. Merry Christmas to everyone. And a great week of Rogan. So, yeah, let's get into it. today we're diving deep into last week of rogan a magical holiday to everyone joe gave us three solid episodes i would say heavy on comedy a sprinkle of mind expanding fringe stuff in the middle a little bit of perfect for the kind of post turkey coma assuming you know are people
Starting point is 00:02:50 doing turkey over christmas kind of we did ham did a lot of ham And then I smoke some rips. Anyway, we're just going to knock out like a 15-minute segment here and kind of see how that goes. Maybe, I don't know, four to five minutes with each episode. But Joe wrapped up the year on a high note. No heavy politics or controversy, which honestly is a good thing. Just some good hangs, solid laughs. ancient mysteries, pondering on unwrapping, you know, a lot of kind of UAP, UFO deep dives, honestly.
Starting point is 00:03:34 I really think that he is trying to single-handedly get the president maybe to tell the world that there are UAPs or aliens are real. I don't know. He seems to be pushing hard. I like it. I think he should focus on that it seems like a little bit of rogan from the old days let me know what you think um you know this is what i'm hearing from from rogan fans the this is kind of where it's what it sounds like um let's start off with episode 2429 tom sagura released a couple of days before Christmas, one of Joe's longtime buddies, co-host of course, of your mom's house with Christina's wife and then two bears one cave, but came in hot promoting his new brand, you know, new Netflix special teacher, which drops on Christmas Eve. I haven't seen it. Let me know what
Starting point is 00:04:45 you think. This was peak bro catch up energy, of course. High energy, dead panic humor, and that effortless flow that built over the years. It's the same kind of talk. They kicked off talking Tom's insane weight loss journey, which, you know, God bless him. He's dialed it in. He's lost a ton of weight. He's really shredded up. I wish Bert did this same kind of thing.
Starting point is 00:05:16 I mean, it's solid routine early mornings. macro tracking, carb cycling, Greek yogurt, having that kind of stuff. It just makes me think, like why has Bert not jumped on board? Even though Bert has gone into some pretty good shape, I would say Tom is well ahead on the dieting kind of, you know,
Starting point is 00:05:49 track. I mean, he's definitely taken a page out of Rogan's book. So, you know, some things are definitely rubbing off. Um, you know, just classic Rogan fitness talk, which is pretty solid. Um, then it veers into kind of some absurd, like, comedic road anecdotes. Um, obviously they talk about some of the wild videos that they send back and forth. um standout moments i mean tom's deadpan bakery ownership while being jacked he eats four times a day but no more croissants for me i mean just going back to that kind of no more carbs world and then you know i i really think this one is is mainly for like the old school rogan fans that love you know the the comedic catch-ups you know it's like the the october fest um old-school rogan hangs
Starting point is 00:06:58 you know i i give this one honestly like a six out of ten um i do love tom to death but um unless unless tom is someone these tom conversations is something that really stands out to you It's an easy one to skip on. I will say that. Jumping over to episode 2430, Jay Anderson. Okay, Christmas Eve drop. Jay Anderson from Project Unity. Okay, this one was interesting.
Starting point is 00:07:33 So another deep dive in the UFO, UAPs. All right. Human origins, ancient mysteries. Kind of goes down the rabbit hole on this one. And it kind of goes from all over. I think this guy said he was from Montana, which was interesting. They go deep into like ancient megalithic sites, massive stones. You name it, like Bronze Age tools, interlocking, perfect stone cuts, pyramid stuff, temples, you know, just kind of like mainstream archaeology.
Starting point is 00:08:15 institutional gatekeeping, all the kind of stuff that Joe loves to jump into. And, you know, how do we get to that place? Like, what tools did they use? And, you know, where are the whistleblowers? And, you know, what's going on with this conspiracy overall? I think Jay brings some interesting thoughts to the whole thing. Definitely a smart guy. I mean, no doubt.
Starting point is 00:08:47 And again, I mean, it seems like a heavy week or month or couple of months on UAPs and UFO stuff. And if you've been vibing on that, which I have, like, heavily and been really enjoying, he's kind of like that, you know, just a nice little bit of icing on the cake for that. It's cool that, you know, we're kind of continuing. a little bit of momentum in that direction. I mean, this episode was thought-provoking, you know, if you're into kind of like the Graham Hancock territory of unexplained phenomenon. It's niche, you know, it might drag if you're not already hooked on that ancient alien UFO stuff, but fascinating for those kind of picture thinkers, big picture thinkers, no laughs, of course,
Starting point is 00:09:42 but mind bending and I give that a solid seven out of ten honestly it's it's definitely worth a lesson moving on to what I think is the episode of the week Shane Gillis Shane Gillis episode 2431 the holiday standout Shane Gillis on Christmas come on now of course Matt and Shane's secret podcast um Netflix tires um Gilly and Keeves sketches, which are just absolutely fantastic. The banter is excellent. It's Bro Energy dialed to 11. Almost three hours of hilarious stories.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Comedy scenes, absurd life bits, history riffs. Shane takes on Civil War World 2, Gold Stuff, Dark, Insights, Funny. They touch on current events. You know, Shane jokes about dictator charges in politics. Joe pushes back thoughtfully. I mean, they kind of get into some stuff here and there. They even talk a little bit about a Nick Fuentes, which I think is kind of interesting. They make a little bit, you know, a few jokes here and there.
Starting point is 00:11:06 They talk about some absurdity with where Trump is at the moment. and what he's kind of up to um you know they get into some christmas chill vibe stuff talk about some good movies um it's just good bro stuff back and forth and really it is Shane just enjoying himself and Joe just kind of finishing out the summer I mean let's be honest Shane has been crushing it everyone knows this I mean, he has had such a spectacular year. There's no doubt that he has made an absolute name for himself. The fact that he is still doing so well with his comedy and his relationship with Joe is really cool to see because I think having his podcast be as big as it is, which I think it is like the second biggest podcast now in the world.
Starting point is 00:12:12 he did say that he's kind of joe asked him like do you think your podcast forever he said i think i will do stand up forever i don't know if i don't do the podcast and that i felt like was quite interesting because his podcast is quite a lot different than rogans rogan can just interview people forever um shame really i you know he's He doesn't really interview people. They have guests on their show, but it's mostly just Shane talking about his life. And he, you know, his life is kind of like, how much more of an open book can he have? And is it even worth it to him at this point?
Starting point is 00:12:55 Like, he makes enough money. You know, he's really putting himself out there. I don't know if he's going to keep doing it in that fashion. But it is very funny, but it may get pretty tiring for him. But it was very good. Great to have him on that. and ultimately very funny so final thoughts week ranking Shane Gillis number one holiday MVP
Starting point is 00:13:21 Tom Segura kind of like comfort food comedy Jay Anderson it was intriguing I'll take it and overall week I would say 8 out of 10 you know it was comedy dominated it was chill there was no drama I really didn't want any political bullshit I didn't want any heavy AI stuff. I have to say, I'm glad that he didn't bring up 50 cent AI anything. You know, it wasn't transgender something or COVID anything or just, I just wanted something
Starting point is 00:13:58 pretty chill and relaxed and cool for the end of the year. Rogan delivered. It's a great way to end the year. I'm happy about it. And, yeah, I like it. I've got a feeling that we're getting. some more of the old school rogan i think he's coming back around you know i think i think even he's a bit worn out by the intensity of um going down that path of you know kind of how
Starting point is 00:14:29 popular and influential he's become and just seeing that it's better just to have fun and enjoy what he's doing in these conversations than really getting in the mix with, I don't know, getting too political and influential on this stuff. But anyway, let me know what you guys think. We'll dive into this more as the week goes on. We will review some of these episodes, but I just want to give you a quick breakdown. Love you to death. Talk to soon.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Later.
