Starting point is 00:00:00 Now, Ben, well, speaking of saving your relationship, maybe not investing in more Warriors merchandise. Yeah, that would be something. Now, I'm definitely a no relationship expert on a front foot there. Well, hey, you're still in your first marriage. Yeah, yeah, we're still, you know, we're still hanging in there. We're doing all right. We've been together a long time. I'm still tolerating each other.
Starting point is 00:00:16 Yeah, no. And I, you know, my wife had been through a wee bit without going into too much detail with her dad, you know, the anniversary of a dad. I don't know if you call it that, but passing away a year ago and things like that. Your back surgery? Yeah, stressful things going on at school. and away from stuff. And I was talking to my daughters
Starting point is 00:00:32 and I was like, hey, we should do something nice for mum. It would be nice to do something nice. God, took you long enough. He's like, you've had a rough 14 months. I might get you some flowers. Well, you know, like something a bit extra as well. And then we talked about it.
Starting point is 00:00:44 We're like maybe, you know, she would like some time out. Because, you know, all parents probably listening right now. They just don't get any time out at all. And then I was like, hey, we could maybe book her a night. Well, like, well, could we do a night away? And I thought, actually, probably, would it be better if I'm not there. a night away for her. Just her.
Starting point is 00:01:01 Absolutely, it would be better of you with you. One night away and, yeah, yeah. You can't relax. Yeah, exactly. And that's what she needs. That's what I thought. I thought we could do it together or we could just go book a hotel. She goes away, has a night by herself.
Starting point is 00:01:13 She does whatever she wants. Uber eats it, does it as a white, whatever, just nothing. It's all on her. And she did it last weekend and it was, yeah, it was the best thing. It was like, it was better because I wasn't there. And I can admit that. And she brought a part of me at the way. that now, but I know it was.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Oh, Terri Motive. How much stuff did you get done? How much stuff did you get done that you wanted to get done while she was away? Did you send the girls away too? No, I had time with the girls. We went out and grabbed some food and stuff like that, and then I had some productive time. That laptop got a pounding. The emails that was said.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Yeah, it was really good for me too, and it was really good. We both caught up the next day and I picked up all my life. It was great. That was great. But I was like, this is the relationship hack, doing things separately. When did she last have a night by her? herself. Oh, she couldn't, she couldn't remember.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Wow. Like, actually having a night without, yeah. And it's not, it's nothing against you. It's just like, everyone needs time. Yeah. With, like, with their own thoughts. Because normally I would have probably gone. Let's do it together.
Starting point is 00:02:12 And I'm sure we would have had a nice time as well. But I was like, there would have been activities. Yeah. I would have, we're going there, we're doing this, we're doing that. And I'm like, no. And so I was like, man, this is the hack. I'm not involved. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:02:23 So the hackers stay out of your relationship and the relationship's healthier. Okay. Thank you.
