Starting point is 00:00:00 But something at home, I've talked about this poor. I'm not very good at practical sort of stuff. You know, like anything to do with, I can't even give you examples. Well, you got, you get someone to help you hang up picture frames. My wife's actually pretty good. She's pretty practical. You've got skills that you bring to the house. So, to do lists and you get stuff done.
Starting point is 00:00:19 I feel like I've got my lane and I like to stay on my lane. And my wife, you know, I've worked out as I get older what things I am good at and what I'm not good at. I appreciate you bringing that to the table because I like. I love it when people upset the gender roles, you know. So my wife, we got a washing. He's an ally, bro. A washing machine, a washing machine basically can't. And so we got a new one.
Starting point is 00:00:39 And I was like, well, let's get someone in to install it. My wife's like, no, I can do this. Oh, geez, I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that. And so I had to be the person helping to move it out and in and that. And then I was like, you're on your own. This is where I can't do any more. Do you find when you're always sliding, like, frigid.
Starting point is 00:01:00 and washing machines and dries into spaces. They don't give enough space for your fingers on the other side of the... I'm still like... Yeah, for the last time we did that with the fridge, I've still got a... And then someone want to always push... Yeah, one side and you're like, oh! Just give it another, like, two centimetres on either side. So my wife's in behind the thing with wrenches and all sorts of pipes and hoses and stuff,
Starting point is 00:01:19 and I'm like, oh, she's doing her thing, she wanted to do this. And then she got to point to when she was like, can you help? And I'm like, no. Like, I mean, I can help, but I'm not going to be any good at this. Emotional support? Yeah. I'm not pretty good. And this caused her frustration, which I get.
Starting point is 00:01:32 She's like, well, at least try. Try to look at something. I'm like, I could, but I'm just no good at it. I'm with you, Ben. I reckon you reach a certain stage in life. I reckon everyone on this earth could be good at everything. It's just what they can be bothered putting their time and energy into. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Exactly. So, yeah, this caused a bit of a standoff situation. Yeah. And she went back to it as well. And I'm like, in hindsight, I'm like, maybe I should try and be good at these things. But she didn't want you to be, you know, the leader of the situation. She was doing it right. She probably just needed a bit of a hand, like an apprentice.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Now tell everyone what you ended up doing. Why? Didn't you go to bed? Well, I did actually go to bed, yeah. I was getting really late. She went on to it really late. Like, I didn't think this was like a... Like what time?
Starting point is 00:02:20 Like a 10.30 job. And she's still in the laundry trying to install the washing machine. And she started about... No, I said, look, I'm really sorry. I would go. She's a weeknight. Yeah, and I was like, she started at 9.30.
Starting point is 00:02:34 I was like, this is way too. This, for me, felt late. And then, yeah, it was a Sunday night. And there was like, well, I'm with you. I'm with you. That is not ideal washing machine installing conditions. No, it's, yeah. As much as every bone in my body wants to tease you and go against you,
Starting point is 00:02:48 I'm with you too. So I went to bed. I don't know the result of it. We haven't watched clothes since. We're all spoken. But we'll find out. I'll let you know. I'll keep you updated.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Okay.
