This week, a brand new Fast and Furious movie is out, Fast X. It's the first part of the final part of the saga. They're epic movies, and this one is incredible, starring Vin Diesel, Shelley Saron, and Jason Momoa is the bad guy in this, and he is awesome. He is such a cool character in the movie. And he's obviously here filming another movie at the moment. You'd think he's in the Coromandel this week, and we got the chance. Sit down, you and chance. Sit down.

You feel all right about it? Like the movie, this is going to be fast and furious. We've only got five minutes. We've only got five minutes. We're going to kick into it. But it's awesome you're here for the movie. It's incredible. You've been here in New Zealand for a while.

We've seen you naked in a shed working out. Have we kidnapped you? I'm going to live here the rest of my life. I love it. You know we've got hotels. You don't have to stay in a shed. We're more than welcome to use motels, hotels, many options, many accommodation options. Although my wife was asking me where's that shed located, that was her big question.

I don't know. Are you cooking mess in that shed? What is going on in that shed? Because you love it here, why do you love New Zealand so much? It's the first place in my life that I've ever landed and I just felt like a deep connection to. I mean, there's countless things, but it's the most diverse ecosystem in the world.

Just the pride that I have for my own people, the Kanaka Maori, our cousins, the Maori. I love the fact that the white culture embraces it so much, knows the language, knows the culture, which just doesn't happen anywhere else. It's the only indigenous tribe that's ever defeated or defended against the white man, signed a treaty. There's a lot of pride in that.

I mean, we had everything taken away from us. We're a kingdom. So it's just like you see a culture like that that has so much richness. And then the fact that I'm an outdoorsman and I love the southern island, I love the cold and being climbing. And so I've been outside of Christchurch and climbing up there and so I just have traveled from the top to the bottom I was like 19 20 I've been here 10 times but I just the fact that your movies and the film they like how

much you guys support indigenous films what you guys have done we don't even have in Hawaii you know they come and they shoot their blockbuster movies and then they use our land but we don't even have in Hawaii. They come and they shoot their blockbuster movies and then they f*** off and they use our land. But we don't even have our own land. So there's a lot of positive things that I really love about New Zealand. And it has its fair share of problems, like we all do. And then we have the greatest rugby team in the world. Well, I was going to say, the All Blacks as well.

I mean, how do they compare to the action stars in the movie and Fast X? I mean, listen, one of my idols is Tana Umega, who's coming tonight. And, like, Tana's like, I'm a huge, gigantic All Blacks fan. I got the All Blacks, some of the boys, like, he's Muse. And I got all the guys to come up and be in Chief of War. Oh, awesome. And you've got the top you wear everywhere as well, too. Yeah.

Except for the movie. You're wearing more sort of scrunchies and, you know, other stuff. But you could have busted down an All Black top. Yeah. So I absolutely, I just love your country oh wow well thank you well i feel like i'm taking all the credit for it but yeah hey we've made this gdeli genuinely means it yeah he just loves new zealand isn't that a nice thing that we should all be proud of is that he comes over here and just sees how for the most part how inclusive yeah i mean it's not it's not perfect but it's but it's awesome that, you know,

that, yeah, it's something we can be proud of, I guess, in a lot of ways. There's a bit of room to still grow, but hey. And something else we can be proud of, Ben, is our tourism campaign that we made for Jason Momoa, which we figure, you know, he loves the country. Let's slap him on a tacky campaign. Be the ambassador, fiscal ambassador. So we made through, you know, clip art.

We put some pictures together of him on a bit of an A4 paper we printed out like a school project. Basically every picture he was shirtless but he was in front of iconic New Zealand locations and we pitched this to him. I actually, we wanted to pitch a tourism campaign to you

if you don't mind. This is our new tourism campaign so don't be fast and furious when you visit New Zealand, take your time and see more. And then we've got, yeah, don't go Jason Waterfalls, the Jason Reserve which is the basin reserve and then our lakes of beautiful aqua dot dot dot man. I use it, you know what I mean? I love it. It's a pitch.

How do we get to be more like you? Because I want to be an action hero, like, you know, but I'm scared of loud noises and I have no upper body strength. So what do I do? What do I do? I think you just wait

to the next life. You put it out there and the next life you're going to get it. Not even this life. I can't even hit the gym. If you're scared of the loud noises, yeah.

Above his eye And it was from an incident In a pub I think Looks like a cool line A cool scar up the top So I surprised you I bought my pubic hair trimmer along. And so I thought, well, let's try and shave one in your eyebrows.

Have the great man do it to you. Do you know what? I knew he was going to ask that question. And one of the great things about you is your cool scar there. I reckon we shave as... Oh, you know, that's one thing you could do. Yeah. That'll make you look scarier.
